SPEAKER_01: You're like have this uh flucination with those things.
• 1:20
  SPEAKER_00: I do, for sure.
• 1:21
SPEAKER_00: But that's what it sounds like.
• 1:22
  SPEAKER_01: Yes, it does.
• 1:23
  SPEAKER_01: All right.
• 1:23
  SPEAKER_00: Hear me out.
• 1:24
  SPEAKER_00: Great idea.
• 1:25
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 1:26
  SPEAKER_00: Diet Coke bar crawl.
• 1:28
  SPEAKER_01: Absolute win.
• 1:29
  SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_00: But I will tell you, bars don't nail it like a Mickey D's, but I still am kind of curious.
• 1:35
SPEAKER_00: Let's say we start on Market Street, right?
• 1:37
SPEAKER_01: Okay, it seems like a lot of them start there.
• 1:39
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 1:39
SPEAKER_01: So we can end there.
• 1:40
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 1:41
SPEAKER_00: So we start at Oaks, try their Diet Coke.
• 1:43
  SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
• 1:44
SPEAKER_00: And then you I feel like you have to throw in like, do we go to Ellen and Michael's?
• 1:48
SPEAKER_00: Do we go to like do you hit up restaurants?
• 1:50
SPEAKER_00: Because they also have Diet Coke out of the gun.
• 1:53
SPEAKER_01: It it is remarkable to me the Diet Coke resurgence because there was a period of time where it was on top and then it crashed.
• 2:02
SPEAKER_00: I don't know why, because it's always been the most delicious drink ever.
• 2:04
SPEAKER_01: I think people were starting to realize that may not be great for us and probably is cancer in a can.
• 2:09
  SPEAKER_00: Well, I I mean, I don't care about that.
• 2:11
SPEAKER_00: But also, Coke Zero is delicious, but it'll never, I don't think it'll ever get the popularity that Diet Coke has.
• 2:18
SPEAKER_01: Because it's not the same.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_01: Diet Coke has its it has there's a specific flavor.
• 2:22
  SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
• 2:23
SPEAKER_00: And I would I just need a little bit more spice out of the gun.
• 2:25
SPEAKER_01: You know, because uh sometimes people like to go out, but they just don't feel like going out and getting to the point where they don't remember what they were doing.
• 2:31
SPEAKER_01: So a Diet Coke uh bar crawl, and yeah, the thing with Diet Coke is after you drink one, you're gonna have to drink another because it makes you thirsty again.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_00: Well, and plus I want to taste test.
• 2:39
SPEAKER_00: Remember on I think this is our TikTok like uh last summer, I think, where I taste tested the bottle, the McDonald's one, was it Wendy's?
• 2:48
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 2:48
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: So this way you can go up and down the street and figure out which one has the best Diet Coke.
• 2:53
SPEAKER_01: Do you stop at McDonald's?
• 2:54
SPEAKER_01: You know, do you go over to Denison and say, time to cleanse the palate with the real Diet Coke?
• 2:59
SPEAKER_00: I think that would be the ender.
• 3:01
SPEAKER_00: Because you know how you always save like the best bar for last.
• 3:03
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 3:04
SPEAKER_00: I think that that has to be the ender because you know, and I'm not dogging the restaurants, but you just don't have the ratio, right?
• 3:11
SPEAKER_01: Out the gun is different from out the spout at McDonald's.
• 3:14
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly, exactly.
• 3:15
  SPEAKER_00: But I think it's a great idea.
• 3:17
SPEAKER_01: You might get some people on board, yeah.
• 3:18
SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's some passionate D uh DCers out there.
• 3:21
SPEAKER_00: Right, and everyone can drive home safely.
• 3:23
SPEAKER_00: I don't have to worry about getting like some sort of terps bus for us.
• 3:26
  SPEAKER_01: That's true, too.
• 3:27
SPEAKER_00: You know, or get a uh a wine tour bus.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_01: You know, if you really want to make it a uh a whopping great afternoon, why don't you do the Diacroque Dia Croak Diet Coke bar crawl and do some antiquing on Market Street too while you're carrying it around.
• 3:42
  SPEAKER_00: That sounds amazing.
• 3:43
SPEAKER_01: Sounds like my Sunday during the summer.
• 3:45
SPEAKER_00: That sounds like my kind of people is what it is.
• 3:47
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, God.
• 3:48
SPEAKER_00: Have you seen that TikTok?
• 3:49
SPEAKER_00: I put this up the other day.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_01: She'll be joining the knitting club at uh noon today.
• 3:53
SPEAKER_00: It was an antique flag, because you know how outside of antique stores they always have the flag that's like antiques, right?
• 3:59
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 3:59
SPEAKER_00: And it said the flag of my people.
• 4:02
  SPEAKER_01: And three, two, one.
• 4:05
SPEAKER_01: We're listening to Scott and Allie.

• 4:12
  SPEAKER_01: We're thrifting.
• 4:13
  SPEAKER_01: You're antiquing, let's be real.
• 4:15
SPEAKER_01: And my parents did it in the 80s.
• 4:17
  SPEAKER_00: There's a difference.
• 4:18
SPEAKER_00: It's the years that make the difference.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_00: And also, like some of these estate sales, these people with the living estate sales, I'm like, pfft, your stuff is way too modern.
• 4:26
  SPEAKER_00: Isn't it?
• 4:27
SPEAKER_01: A living estate sale, a garage sale?
• 4:30
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
• 4:31
  SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
• 4:32
SPEAKER_01: No, I don't want your yucky sale.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_01: I'm here, I'm alive, but I'm selling my ass.
• 4:37
  SPEAKER_01: So you know what?
• 4:38
  SPEAKER_01: It's a garage sale.
• 4:39
SPEAKER_00: I also don't want your stained pillow, your yucky tupperware, or the cooler containers.
• 4:44
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 4:45
SPEAKER_00: President Trump said two U.S.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_00: Army helicopter crew members are safe and uninjured after Iran shot down their Apache near the Strait of Hormuz.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_00: Trump wrote on Truth Social that the quote, United States must out of necessity respond to this attack.
• 5:00
SPEAKER_00: An Iranian drone brought down the helicopter, though it was unclear if the strike was deliberate.
• 5:05
SPEAKER_00: And this I saw all over the news yesterday when I was at the gym.
• 5:09
SPEAKER_00: A Texas jury convicted 19-year-old Carmelo Anthony of murder Tuesday for fatally stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalfe during a high school track meet.
• 5:18
SPEAKER_00: The April 2025 incident occurred when Anthony refused to leave a tent belonging to Metcalf's Memorial High School team during a rainy competition.
• 5:28
SPEAKER_00: The jury rejected any self defense claims.
• 5:31
SPEAKER_00: And Serena Williams, she won her opening double matches at the HSBC Championships.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_00: This is her first competition in about four years, and she nailed it! They said she looked pretty good.
• 5:42
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
• 5:42
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was watching a little bit of footage on her too.
• 5:45
  SPEAKER_00: She is killing it.
• 5:47
  SPEAKER_00: There's a big three.
