- 0:01What did do Baby, We're back again, Episode ninety eight. This show
- 0:08Lester Sanchez, Ya Ball. We got Joe Fernies, the forty year old
- 0:14greasy watching, and we got Quincy Jamal with the big old hey yo.
- 0:23Yes, but yeah, man, that was fun. Man. We just
- 0:30did a little like video portion that we're gonna be throwing on a TikTok and
- 0:34YouTube and stuff, doing something like reactions and kind of catching up on the
- 0:38Kendrick Lamark concert and what game said after. Definitely check that out. But
- 0:46what we left out on that we wanted to talk about on the pod was
- 0:49Julio Fulio Man Rest in peace. He is a Jacksonville rapper. You know,
- 0:55he's been known around Florida for a while. He actually had some national
- 1:00fame as well. You know, he was not very known like that,
- 1:04but he was definitely known. Yeah, And he was killed, man,
- 1:08just really late at night after his birthday. He was celebrating his birthday and
- 1:15a lot of people basically say he was killed because he dropped the song basically
- 1:21talking about people that were killed in like street situations and stuff like that.
- 1:26And he's been basically looked for ever since, you know what I mean?
- 1:32So it's kind of like that became the norm for him to kind of watch
- 1:34his back because they were kind of looking for him, and unfortunately this time
- 1:38they got him. And it's just kind of crazy. Dude just turned twenty
- 1:42six, you know, he was celebrating his birthday and Bro, that street
- 1:48stuff. Man, I always think about what Jari says, streets is a
- 1:52myth. Whatever you think the streets are going to be in your mind,
- 1:56Bro, that's not what it is. Man. That shit is going to
- 1:59break your heart every single time, because that shit is not cool. Bro,
- 2:06It's it's tough. And I mentioned it during that last little episode.
- 2:10We just wrapped. Too many rappers give themselves this bulletproof best that they're unstoppable,
- 2:17and nobody is. Unless you walk around with full blown security, like
- 2:22the top flight of the world Crag security, you don't got it. Yeah.
- 2:25It's kind of like we were talking about the on the reaction video as
- 2:29well with Game, where it's like, bro, you you forty something,
- 2:31dog like you know, Game was a dope rapper. He's somebody that like
- 2:37you, like we were talking about, he's somebody that you feel like you
- 2:40should be looking at him like he's a legend, you know what I mean,
- 2:45Like he should be in that air of like fifty jay Z, Nelly,
- 2:52Eminem. You know what I'm saying, Like he comes from that era
- 2:54and he has the music to back it up, but everything else that he's
- 2:59done, it just don't match up. It's like, Bro, he's forty
- 3:01four. I just looked it up. He and in no position that none
- 3:06of these dudes is in nas jay Z, Eminem, you know, none
- 3:10of his counterparts, bro, none of the people that did what he did
- 3:14as far as records go, all of them are doing better than him.
- 3:17Bro. And it's like it's disappointing, bro, because you know, kind
- 3:23of like we've been talking about with Drake a lot of times, the music
- 3:25don't match the person. With game, it's kind of in a different way,
- 3:30but it's still the same thing, you know what I'm saying. Like
- 3:31I hear the music and it's like, damgn, Bro, this dude is
- 3:34super talented. The way that he puts together his lyrics and everything. He's
- 3:38dope, super super dope. But when you see the kind of moves he
- 3:43makes, it's like, damn, you kind of embarrassed to even be a
- 3:45fan. You know what I'm saying. My thing though, is that,
- 3:49like you know this list of dead ops record, you basically are mocking every
- 3:53person that got killed in the streets that consider a op yep, and you
- 3:58expect a fullio record listen that ups And then my thing is like you,
- 4:05I mean, what else would you expect this to come, you know,
- 4:08come to in the street life ship facts like you thought. I don't know.
- 4:13Yeah, maybe it's even a case of you not thinking what you put
- 4:17on social media or just put out there is that serious, or not really
- 4:21taking it as serious as you should. You know what I mean. It's
- 4:24people taking it serious, that's for sure, because it's like, who knows
- 4:28if he just did that for shock factor, Like Hey, I'm trying to
- 4:30get on, so I'm gonna put a song out like this because it's crazy,
- 4:32and then look what happens, you know what I mean. It's sad,
- 4:35man, It's a sad situation. Definitely, rest in peace. It's
- 4:40terrible that something like that has to happen, that you're even on some stuff
- 4:46like that, that you open yourself up to that kind of situation. It's
- 4:48just heartbreaking. But unfortunately it's something that happens. Bro and there's communities where
- 4:55these things are going on, and you know, we you've seen that,
- 5:00you know what I'm saying, and you just you try your hardest to make
- 5:03an active shift to take yourself out of that and go a different way.
- 5:08But everybody make it, bro, and now everybody is just built to break
- 5:13that cycle. And it's a hard reality, but it's it's a reality,
- 5:16you know what I'm saying. It's real, nonetheless, like we're not all
- 5:20gonna make it out, and that sucks. Man. That's something that always
- 5:25makes me super grateful about my life and just you know how things have gone
- 5:30despite any bad you know what I mean. I was talking to Quincy earlier
- 5:34and just telling him about how I went to see my nephew. Man,
- 5:39my brother had a son, my first you know what I'm saying, nephew.
- 5:43You know, I was super high appreciated, and when I seen him,
- 5:46I was just like looking at him and it was like it was him,
- 5:49but it was also bigger than him, because it's like the whole moment
- 5:53even it's like just thinking about where we came from and it's like, dang,
- 5:57bro, now about my brother's house. He's married, he's been married,
- 6:00for a little while. He's at the house for a little while,
- 6:02like that, dude's already settled in. This kid is coming into like a
- 6:06great situation, bro, you know what I'm saying, In fact, a
- 6:10completely different situation than what y'all came into facts, And it's like, dang,
- 6:14bro, Like I got a house, my brother got a house,
- 6:17we both got families, we're both married, we're both happy. Like it's
- 6:21like a dream, you know what I'm saying. I couldn't even have imagined
- 6:25that. That's like how life would have turned out. And a lot of
- 6:29times, like like simple stuff like that, you lose sight of it and
- 6:32you're trying to always chase other things, you know, Especially for me,
- 6:36that's how how i'd be. I'm always trying to like get to that next
- 6:41level, and if I'm like plateauing it, I feel like I'm not doing
- 6:44enough, you know what I mean. And then it's like you have those
- 6:46moments that kind of slow you down and tell you like, damn, bro,
- 6:48I'm always going farther than where I came. So I got to be
- 6:54more appreciative and also take in every moment that I can, knowing that everything's
- 6:59going on up all the time. Yeah, for sure, you think you
- 7:02start to. I think it's just the feeling of being sagnant. But that's
- 7:06just comes with like whenever you know, life has its calm moments or nothing
- 7:14just nothing's happening, and some people take those moments. I do myself like,
- 7:17damn, I haven't done ship for the last six months, which now
- 7:23I'm on a new binge to do something new. But it happens, and
- 7:26it's just like you got to accept those downtimes in life where there's nothing really
- 7:30uh pressuring you to do that extra mind, just enjoy what you got at
- 7:34that moment. I think I said at the beginning of the year, that's
- 7:36what I wanted to do this year. I'm gonna read something real quick cause
- 7:39I know you're gonna jump into that record. It said. As recent as
- 7:44April, Fulio wrote and an Instagram posts that recent months have been tragic,
- 7:49exciting, multiple attempts on my life. Yeah, crazy man, crazy,
- 7:55And then you that's what I was gonna ask you, that you have pulled
- 7:58up something that you heard about of somebody actually dropping a song to Julio Fulio
- 8:03after he passed, hours after he passed, hours after he passed and it
- 8:07was a video video. So basically like this had already been ready, like
- 8:11they've been waiting to kill this man to drop this song. And who was
- 8:15it that dropped the song? Young young geen Ace? Did I put it
- 8:20in here for you to click? Or no, yeah, you put it
- 8:22in there? Okay, but that's wild Man hours after he passed. Yep,
- 8:26you're already coming out with this. That's wold Man. And I believe
- 8:33you were saying something about it, like did you hear it? Quincy,
- 8:37I haven't heard it. I kind of kind of glance, but I stopped
- 8:39it so that we could screw it together. Put it up on here because
- 8:43this is the podcast portion. Oh okay, okay, but well check it
- 8:46out it out After what I heard, this man is basically snitching on himself,
- 8:52like but he's making it too easy. Crazy, Like we're saying in
- 8:56the record that you know, he told the boys to do it. You
- 9:01know what I'm saying, crazy, That's why I'm thinking it, Like I
- 9:05don't understand like the infatuation with the cloud a temporary cloud, you know what
- 9:11I mean, Like for permanent consequences. Yeah, yeah, big, it's
- 9:18a big risk to give up. It's crazy too, man, because like
- 9:22I said, you know, we made a very conscious shift out of those
- 9:26types of situations. So it's like, to me, even thinking about being
- 9:31in that mindset or even like thinking from that point of view is so like
- 9:35foreign to me, you know what I'm saying. It's like it reminds me
- 9:39of being young. It's just crazy to me that, like kind of talking
- 9:43about Game again, like how can you still be on that vibe? And
- 9:46you so grown, bro, and you've seen so much and you don't realize,
- 9:52like, Bro, there's more to life than this. Bro. I
- 9:56don't think Game's ever going to get that. And that's why I think he
- 9:58has a stayed where he's at in the game how everybody looks at him,
- 10:03because if the internet feels that the same way we do, then everybody feels
- 10:07that way. Facts. Yeah, Bro, Like I said, always be
- 10:11on the island with that one. Whenever somebody talks about Game, I bring
- 10:13up Game, they'd be like, you you good with that, bro?
- 10:16And it's never about his talents and everybody's skilled. The way he raps,
- 10:20so it's the way he acts. It's just his acts. That's the way
- 10:22he acts. Just turned off already by him, bro, and it took
- 10:26a few people, you know what I mean Like that, that's like as
- 10:28an artist, you know you like him, but then as a person you're
- 10:31like, man, they're trash. I mean, yeah, let's be I
- 10:33mean recent Kanye, you know what I mean, Like, let's be one
- 10:35hundred real, you know, like I love his music though, speaking of
- 10:41trash. The NBA Draft just went on speaking of track, I'm just talking.
- 10:46The draft was kind of uneventful this year, just as far as big
- 10:50names, you know, splashy players. You know, last year was when
- 10:54Biana that was like the draft prospect that people were waiting for for like two
- 11:00years and it ended up living up to the hype. So it was going
- 11:03to be very hard for anybody to care about who was coming out of wherever
- 11:07this year. But Alex Saar went number two to the Wizards and number one
- 11:13was Zachary Rizaker I don't know how to say ris ac ch e r.
- 11:20And it was the first time that two international players went one to two in
- 11:24the draft and they were both from France, right, So that's like kind
- 11:28of crazy. But we were kind of talking about it in the game in
- 11:33chat because Angel brought it up just like you know what Gilbert Arena said that
- 11:37the NBA has been making the game sawt to make it easier for the European
- 11:43players to acclimate or whatever. And you know, obviously Gilbert Arenas played in
- 11:48the NBA, so he has his viewpoint that has some validity to it.
- 11:54But when you see how the international game is and how it's been compared to
- 11:58the NBA, I mean, international play has kind of been known to be
- 12:03more physical than the NBA game and the rules being a little bit more rigid
- 12:07too, So it's like, I don't understand where that comes from. And
- 12:11then on top of that, it's really the talent in the US that's just
- 12:18not living up to the talent that's coming from overseas. Progresses here as much
- 12:24as it does internation. Yeah, bro, Like who our American best American
- 12:31superstar coming off the NBA Finals is probably Jason Tatum. He's the only USA
- 12:37guy that's like up there. But I'm not putting him ahead of Joel Embiid.
- 12:43I'm not putting him ahead of Giannis. I'm not putting him ahead of
- 12:46Luca. You know what I'm saying. I'm not putting him ahead of Jokic.
- 12:50I'm not putting him ahead of one mia. What do you think What
- 12:54do you think that accounts for as far as like because you know in his
- 13:00three you know, USA always had basketball locked. You know what I mean?
- 13:03What do you think is kind of it's these guys play against as far
- 13:07as the US, these prospects in the draft, they're all college players.
- 13:13They play against college players. You got people like Wemby Luca, all these
- 13:18people coming from the international leagues that they play against adults, they play about
- 13:22against like almost NBA level. Yeah, in there in their normal day to
- 13:28day train as a youth. And that's the difference. Yeah, they're coming
- 13:33with them playing pro pro games since they was like thirteen, you know what
- 13:37I'm saying, Like some of them dudes been been on that stations they was
- 13:39fifteen thirteen, you know, international youth play. And another thing is just
- 13:46overall bro, Like the US is soft. These kids are coming way more
- 13:50mature, They're way more ready, they're practicing a lot more. They're more
- 13:54dedicated because they're not as distracted by the BS like the US kids, you
- 13:58know what I mean. Like the development here, yep, he was and
- 14:03he was hooping all the way up until the draft. Bro, he was
- 14:07hooping. He was at that tournament, this tournament, playing here, playing
- 14:09there, playing for this team, playing for that team. And Bro,
- 14:15that's what it is like. You're not gonna be nice unless you're consistent and
- 14:18you playing. And that's what these dudes do, they play. You know
- 14:20what I'm saying that that's the thing that because we had talked about it a
- 14:24little bit with Luca, that's the thing that I didn't appreciate about Luca this
- 14:28year. And I'm hoping that he comes back ready next year. But like
- 14:33I just seen him coming into the season and just the playoffs and going into
- 14:39that Western Conference Finals win that he went for that beer and Michael Finley was
- 14:43like, give me that. He was looking soft all year, Bro,
- 14:48all year dog and you can now slide like that in the NBA. Bro,
- 14:52Yoki ch ain't win until he slimmed down. Lebron ain't win until he
- 14:56slimmed down. Bro, any anybody you talking about anybody anybody shack anybody dog
- 15:03until they slimmed down and got into the condition. You know the argument with
- 15:05Zion, he hasn't done it yet. That's why he hasn't made anything happen
- 15:09yet taking that step yet. Until you take your body seriously, you're not
- 15:15gonna be able to get over that home. And Luca did it, and
- 15:16I knew it was gonna cost him and it did. Yeah, I mean
- 15:22I do believe. I was gonna say real quick, I think Zion has
- 15:26dropped away and he grew a beard. I think he is, he is
- 15:31ready, but that's what it's gonna take. Like if you don't take care
- 15:33of your you're not just wait. Just your being in shape, because that
- 15:39affects his cardio and the reason. Yeah, what you can't ask what you
- 15:43when you're not on the court. You know what I'm saying, And that
- 15:46affects what his mental and that's why he complained so much on the court.
- 15:50Yep. And I could definitely, uh, I could definitely see him coming
- 15:54back with a vengeance next year and then possibly winning it next year. They
- 15:58had a piece or two. Oh shout out to Quincy Man, the dude
- 16:03that the Spurs draft that he's from Covington, Georgia. Man, Yeah,
- 16:07boy, population two hundred and seven, let's go. Yep, And he's
- 16:12the number four pick in the NBA Draft now that's fire. That's actually fire.
- 16:18I want to look them up. What happened? But number there right
- 16:22now? Oh, I don't know now wondering, Thanks, still looking at
- 16:29the list. I'm about to pull it up right now. I want to
- 16:33see it. Bro. Yeah, but his name is Stephan Castle, Quincy
- 16:37Castle. Let me see what? We only got like three high schools here?
- 16:41Bro, the sixers are on the clock that he just drafted Khalil Where
- 16:48what number? Though? Number fifteen got you getting closer to the next Oh,
- 16:57Zach Edy went to the grizzly ease, whoa, whoa Purdue. I
- 17:04like that move a lot because I don't think they got I don't think they
- 17:10got Steve what's his name? Uh, the big the big aus dude,
- 17:15Steve Irwin, Steve Irwin, what's his name? Brother with the mustache?
- 17:22That he he was in Memphis. He used to play for ok C and
- 17:26he used to run the pick and roll Westbrook Adams, Steven Adams. There
- 17:32goes. I knew what Steve something. I thought you made a new person.
- 17:37Oh yeah, he's on the rockets now exactly. Yo. So basically,
- 17:40Zach e Bro, he you could compare him to like a very skilled
- 17:45Steven Adams. So I'm that's a very interesting pick, especially with y'all coming
- 17:52back. They got Gigi Jackson, they still got Desmond Bain. Uh.
- 17:56Their young talent is insane. So the Grizzlies might have a man. I
- 18:00like that move. I like that move. That's a little more exciting than
- 18:04I thought it would be. Bro Grizzly draft Zach Edie. Remember we talked
- 18:10about this, Zach. Remember that. So that's Stephan Stephan Castle. Dude.
- 18:17He went to the high school right up the street. Bro, that's
- 18:18dope, that's wow. He went to the like literally, the high school
- 18:22he went to was the high school that picks up my neighborhood. He might
- 18:26have graduated. He might have been there when you were there, because he's
- 18:29legit. Yeah he was. I think he was one and done in college.
- 18:33He was there when I was there when I moved out here. Crazy,
- 18:37that's crazy, as he would have thought. I had no you know,
- 18:40no idea that we had this prospect down the street. Yeah, down
- 18:44the street. I could have been going to see his high school games.
- 18:45I had no idea to see him for a dollar at the rec center.
- 18:48Yeah, bro, I had no idea. Now with someone with that kind
- 18:53of exposure. They probably was charged like twenty bucks head probably who knows.
- 19:00Man a small town kids, small town, small small Candle didn't play like
- 19:03for the Mari start of my games or like when he was in when Ma
- 19:08came. It was the regular student price, you know, they didn't charge
- 19:11more than nothing. It was I think it was like three bucks or something
- 19:15to go see. I remember they were charging us like ten fifteen bucks to
- 19:18get in that game because we were when you were like when Universe, well
- 19:21yeah, this was like two thousand and one too. Yeah, because we
- 19:27are always Lakers on the clock right now, let's see, they don't get
- 19:32them in this round though, Yeah, what's up, let's see, let's
- 19:38know. But yeah, no, I remember because we had a drive to
- 19:41Cyperstreek and I had a car, so I had to be Oh see,
- 19:44that's that's what I'm saying. They played at University when I was there.
- 19:48Oh yeah, yeah University probably because we was visitors then. Yeah, because
- 19:52if we went to Cyper Streak to watch them, that's when we had to
- 19:55pay. We didn't have to pay when we was at University. Yeah,
- 20:00that was some days. Bro. University was like remember when they would come
- 20:03with that cooler full of Chick fil A biscuits in the morning. Oh my
- 20:07god, clutch, bro. Like I said, Bro, I was poor,
- 20:11so I didn't even know what that was somebody I forgot who it was.
- 20:14Bro. I wish I could remember. It was like you never had
- 20:15a Chick fil A biscuit before? And it was like, yo, come
- 20:18here. We went in line, Bro, and they bought me one of
- 20:21them things. Oh my gosh, Bro, I'm the same way dude,
- 20:26Like, I actually think that was my first time ever having one? Was
- 20:27that University of University? Yeah yeah, Bro, I was like, Bro,
- 20:32what is this dog? They had people like fiends out there. There
- 20:36was people that their whole morning routine was based around going and get that biscuit.
- 20:41They was running off the bus. It was like trying to get there
- 20:45early. Like literally, I remember there was people on the bus that would
- 20:48just go bad fast to go get that business. They wanted them to run
- 20:51out like Bro, yeah no, and they only charged you like two dollars
- 20:56I think two fifty Yeah, something like that. That one was Super Club
- 21:00a long time ago. Facts, Yo, you know what's crazy in my
- 21:03You know, this is a wild story, but a wild story from the
- 21:07point of view of being an old washed man. So check this out.
- 21:12When I was in middle school, they used to have these things called taco
- 21:15pockets in the cafeteria, and basically what it was was no, no,
- 21:22no. It was kind of like an empanada and it just had like ground
- 21:26beef and cheese in it, you know what I mean. And they called
- 21:30it a taco pocket, and yo, it was mad good, bro,
- 21:33mad good. But they marketed it like a Mexican thing, you know what
- 21:38I'm saying. Like the way they had it on the menu and stuff,
- 21:41it was kind of like the vibe of like, oh, this is like
- 21:45Spanish, you know what I'm saying. The taco pocket, bro. So
- 21:49recently I usually get whenever I ordered beef patties from DJ's, I get the
- 21:56regular beef patties, right, the regular ones or the icy ones. I
- 22:00never get the beef and cheese. I got the beef and cheese by accident.
- 22:04I didn't notice un till I was home, and I didn't notice until
- 22:07I had already opened it and went to eat it. I was pissed,
- 22:11Bro. I'm like, damn, bro. Got when I heated it up
- 22:15and ate it. It was the freaking taco pocket from this is that where
- 22:21they got it from. It tasted just like it. It tasted it.
- 22:23I'm telling you it had to be that because because my middle school was very
- 22:30close to a BJ's, like very very close, because it was Discovery in
- 22:34Waterford. You know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying. I'm
- 22:40telling you, bro, they would get the taco the I mean the beef
- 22:44and cheese beef patties, make them in middle school for lunch and call them
- 22:49taco pockets. Bro. Like, I don't know for sure, but I
- 22:53know for sure, dog, because I remember that taste them. Things were
- 22:56so good bro too. But yeah, the beef patties a fire too.
- 23:02But I didn't even, Like I said, Bro, I never had the
- 23:04beef and cheese ones. I was tight. And then now I'm just like,
- 23:08wow, thank you Lord. This was like the amazing moment of all
- 23:12time. Bro. Yeah, I don't know if y'all knew this, but
- 23:17you know, like the suppliers that sell the school the foods and stuff,
- 23:21you could order food from them. Yeah, Bro, you remember those donuts
- 23:23they had the end the morning. Yep, I saw them just online,
- 23:26bro, for dumb cheap too. Yep, you could order all that stuff
- 23:30like you look at anything that you used to have, like even like the
- 23:33stuff I'm talking about, like the taco pockets things like that, like whatever
- 23:36you ate in school, like the school lunch stuff. You can make an
- 23:38account with these people and just do it, because Bro, like you said,
- 23:41them little donuts, them little warm donuts in the morning, dog them
- 23:48warm donuts in the morning. That was like the thing I looked forward or
- 23:52whatever juice, whatever you have with you in the morning. Yeah you said,
- 23:56My mom usaid had me the free lunch and the free breakfast package.
- 23:59I was in there of an every day Yo, same same bro. And
- 24:02I was cheap even back then because even if I wasn't hungry, I was
- 24:04like, yo, you're hungry because I was like, they giving it to
- 24:07me for free. Bro, come on, yeah, oh yeah. That
- 24:10was one of my boys. He had it, but he never bought us.
- 24:11She was like, yo, yo, let me get your lunch today.
- 24:15I already had two lunches. Let me get you. In Discovery,
- 24:18we were like we were all on free lunch, and a lot of the
- 24:21kids there didn't eat their own the school lunch that they gave them, so
- 24:25we would like we would be at a table like all the kids from Wentworth
- 24:27and people would literally walk by and just drop their whole trade, like with
- 24:32everything on it there because they just were they were gonna buy something, you
- 24:33know what I mean. They would buy the Papa John's pizza, yeah,
- 24:37or whatever else they had there, you know what I mean. That was
- 24:38like better, you know what I'm saying. And they wouldn't eat the school
- 24:41lunch, but they would just give it to us. So like whenever they
- 24:45had like Shepherd's Pie, Dog, I remember that Shepherd's Pie from middle school.
- 24:48Bro, everybody would drop all the trades there and we used to have
- 24:52like seventy seven slices Shepherd's Pie. Shepherd's Pie is so under rage. And
- 25:00then they used to have the bootleg KFC Bulls. Oh yeah no, that
- 25:06was that was my senior year. Yeah, so that was like way later.
- 25:11That's when the lunches actually started getting good. Yeah. But dog yo,
- 25:15let me put you all onto something I made not super recently, probably
- 25:18like six months ago, but I don't think I told y'all. So I
- 25:22made like a pastry right that was stuffed like two thirds of it was stuffed
- 25:27with shepherd's pie and then the other third of it was guava and cheese and
- 25:33then basically it's like a sub size, so like you just eat it with
- 25:38a fork and a knife, like from the savory side first and then you
- 25:42know obviously, and then there's like a layer of puff pastry that I put
- 25:47in the middle, so it separates the two things. So once you're done
- 25:51with the savory side, then you get into the dessert, which is the
- 25:55guava and cheese pastry. Basically I got I got the idea off of The
- 26:00Great British Bacon Show me and Val Washing and we were like, nah,
- 26:06bro, we gotta do this. This is crazy. Gosh bro that that
- 26:10thing was super dope. You can basically do it however you want, whatever
- 26:12topics you want to put in there. A matter of fact, we're going
- 26:15to do it soon because the kids asked about it. They were like,
- 26:17Yo, remember you did that. We gotta do that again. You didn't
- 26:19run that bad boy facts, But yeah, it's super fire And if you
- 26:23feeling lazy, you could even just buy puff pastry and just put the stuff
- 26:27in and bacon and that's it sounds good that yeah, but yeah, man.
- 26:34I think that's pretty much it for the week. I like this new
- 26:37format. It's like more, it feels more zippy is dope, bringing the
- 26:42different topics and stuff too. It was definitely dope man. My final thoughts
- 26:49real quick on the drafting. The Lakers are putting on the rope of dope.
- 26:56Man. They're trying to convince everybody that they're not gonna draft Bronnie in
- 27:02the second round. He's projected to be right around their pick. They're gonna
- 27:07justify it by he's the highest rated player left, so they're gonna pick him.
- 27:11I feel like it's like the worst kept secret. It might not happen,
- 27:14but I just feel like that's what's gonna We're gonna see, You're going
- 27:17to see and bro I'm gonna I'm gonna throw out a conspiracy theory to wrap
- 27:22it up, right. So obviously, I'm not suggesting that Brownie or Lebron
- 27:30or anybody orchestrate anything with the heart attack thing. I'm not. I'm not
- 27:36touching that at all. Bronnie had the cardiac arrest, I'm not alluding to
- 27:41I'm not alluding to that at all. I'm not talking about the heart attack
- 27:44at all. I'm talking about after the heart attack. I wonder if they
- 27:48said, hey, you're already gonna be projected lower, now, don't go
- 27:55to him. Mm hmmm, stay low, stay low, so we could
- 28:00get you here. We can't guarantee it, but hey, if you stay
- 28:03low, we could justify it and we can make it happen. Yeah,
- 28:07I got you. So I don't know, bro, I feel like this
- 28:11whole thing is like too set up for it to happen and for it to
- 28:15make sense when it happens. And you know what I'm saying. Nobody was
- 28:21that far off with the Steve Kerr things, and Lebron was like, no,
- 28:25there's l a, I'm involved, Reddy. I mean that's Steve Kerr
- 28:30readick. Yeah, and then it happened like two weeks later. They're basically
- 28:33the same guy, but like twenty years apart. Yeah. Pretty. It's
- 28:37funny that you keep confusing them because they're literallypool gangers. Yep, just even
- 28:44as far as like careers and stuff. Except Steve Gerrer got the hardware cousin
- 28:48facts, a lot of it, A lot of it. Yeah, facts,
- 28:52But yeah, man, I don't got nothing else. Y'all got anything
- 28:56else? I wanted to bring this up. I just remember Shack is dropping
- 29:03you Can't Stop the Rain, and know you sent the Biggie track YEP and
- 29:07track coming out. Yeah, I'm excited. I've heard about this ship for
- 29:11a long time. You never heard it. No, I heard about these
- 29:15existing songs for a long time. Jay Z and Osma, I never heard
- 29:18that. I heard it bro back in the day. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:21somebody had the Biggie I mean the Shack album Damn Fire. Yeah, Bro,
- 29:29it's uh Shaq. Shaq went on a crazy run and he actually I
- 29:33think he has two platinum albums that he dropped. I mean he was he
- 29:38was a superstar. Boy. That's that's why everybody is, uh, you
- 29:42know, still tapped in with Shaq now and even though he hasn't played basketball
- 29:45and so long, like he's just that guy because he's still relevant. Yeah,
- 29:49he's done some things. Boy. Yeah, hey man, actually I'm
- 29:53tripping. We got to throw this in before we get off, because this
- 29:56is big, at least to me. Bro Barkley was on broadcast or something
- 30:03the other day. They said that after the twenty four to twenty five season
- 30:07he's retiring from broadcasting. So all that inside the NBA talk it's irrelevant because
- 30:12he's not going to be part of it either way. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:15I saw that. I thought that was interesting, bro, because he actually
- 30:21had a He snapped on this this kid that basically like out of nowhere was
- 30:26trolling him for not like having a ring or whatever. Yeah, and I
- 30:30was just kind of like, dog, like, this man is sixty some
- 30:32years old, almost seventy some years old, and you're still trolling him about.
- 30:36Like it's like, come on, bro, like you are a bumb
- 30:38Like when Shaq does it. Obviously there's context behind it. It's part of
- 30:42the show. It's part of the show, you know what I mean.
- 30:45But it's like, no, you are a bum and you're like respecting a
- 30:48legend above and a casual because if you watched Charles Barkley play ball, you
- 30:53knew he was that guy. He deserved a ring. Everybody knows it.
- 30:57You knew he was that guy. I'm crazy agreed. Yeah, But man,
- 31:02that's that's gonna suck, man, because regardless the show is going to
- 31:04be different. I don't know, man, that that's going to be one
- 31:10of them things that is never going to be able to be duplicated. Man,
- 31:12especially if Draymond ends up in there eventually. I'm I'm not trying to
- 31:18say he sounds like he sounds like he always got COVID. His voice sounds
- 31:23like bron he do though, he do, though I know exactly what you're
- 31:29talking about, but man, he bro, he just it goes back to
- 31:34the to the game thing almost. Bro. It's like you're one way on
- 31:38the court, and then you're trying to present a different way when you're on
- 31:42the broadcast table and like you're trying to talk like you're some kind of like
- 31:48it's just crazy how he tries to portray himself as a different player than what
- 31:52we see he is, Like, Bro, we see you on the basketball
- 31:56court, like you're not the guy that you're talking like you are on and
- 32:00t like be let's be for real, dog, be fucking for real,
- 32:05like for real. But yeah, man, the big thing about DRAYMONDO is
- 32:12he never stays butter not not not not not not not not not after ever after a
