- 0:00To bring you some incredibly awesome political talk
- 0:03on damn radio Hello.
- 0:06Good evening.
- 0:07Welcome.
- 0:08I am Samuel trapped.

- 0:36flavor comm so JR's got TVs all up
- 0:39in here and I've seen three times now
- 0:42this commercial Well, I've been sitting here for
- 0:45one of my favorite Christmas time movies.
- 0:47I don't know why but I just like
- 0:50it I like the original Scrooge with the
- 0:54one with Alistair Sim the the best, of
- 0:57course but probably my second favorite is Bill
- 1:02Murray in Scrooge and that has come up
- 1:05on some channel named Pluto that I've never
- 1:07heard of but I Have the movie anyway,
- 1:10so it's always one of mine that I
- 1:12watch every year and I don't know why
- 1:13I just Distracted by the TV and that
- 1:20is the name of that tune Last night
- 1:24I was trying to get past a Discussion
- 1:29that I've been talking about with Mr. Andre
- 1:34Bezrukov who is a former Well, he's a
- 1:39spy that came over in the early 90s
- 1:45and Resided in Canada and in the US
- 1:49educated in Harvard wife educated in America as
- 1:54well their children grew up not knowing that
- 1:57their parents were spies their children, I believe
- 2:02Still live here and visit their parents in
- 2:04Russia.
- 2:05Obviously their parents aren't allowed to come back
- 2:09Having issues coming back here probably can't get
- 2:12a visa Would be my guess so last
- 2:16night.
- 2:17We got to talking about it.
- 2:18And then I had some great calls and
- 2:20we were discussing Some of the Interesting topics
- 2:27of the day which I pretty much enjoyed
- 2:30Well, pretty much I did enjoy and had
- 2:32a good time doing it.
- 2:33So should you feel to interrupt me again?
- 2:35I have no problem with it.
- 2:37I did want to announce and I'm pretty
- 2:39sure JR has or might have or was
- 2:42going to and I don't know if he
- 2:44did or didn't I've listened to his show
- 2:47But I've been distracted I must admit I
- 2:50didn't listen all the time, but I am
- 2:53going from late night to Early in the
- 2:58day, I am going to attempt 730 to
- 3:049 Central Standard Time from the Lake Ozark
- 3:09real estate of the art studio beginning after
- 3:14the Thanksgiving break and I will no longer
- 3:18do Sunday night.
- 3:21I Will do Monday through Friday 730 to
- 3:249 We're at least gonna try that out
- 3:30for the month of December and see how
- 3:32that works out and I Believe I will
- 3:37be it might not start till Tuesday.
- 3:39I got some traveling that I'm doing I'm
- 3:41going To Florida and I got some some
- 3:45driving.
- 3:45So maybe I'll do the Sunday night and
- 3:47do it Tuesday I don't know.
- 3:49I'm making it up as I go along.
- 3:51But there you have it so I did
- 3:54want to announce that and that is what
- 3:56I'm going to attempt to do and Perhaps
- 4:00make it where I'm not splitting my my
- 4:04My days because it's created a small Scheduling
- 4:09issue for me.
- 4:11So I wanted to talk to you some
- 4:13more about my core theory last night, which
- 4:17came from Andre Bezrukov's thesis and his thesis
- 4:22Basically that he gave at the st.
- 4:24Petersburg International Legal Forum was it's called global
- 4:28geopolitics at the end of the new American
- 4:30reality And I got a little bit into
- 4:33it and I was I wanted to compare
- 4:36His thesis which the core points were we
- 4:40are at the beginning of a long global
- 4:42bake breakdown and reassembly like occurred between 1914
- 4:48and 1945 major technology shifts major world political
- 4:55shifts and his argument is that we're doing
- 5:00something similar and He questioned whether or not
- 5:04the u.s. was suited to come out
- 5:08of it on top and Or if they're
- 5:11gonna go the way of other world powers
- 5:14and similar circumstances notably England France Those two
- 5:19were the biggies and his point was that
- 5:22the technological wave centered on AI in related
- 5:25systems colliding with political economic orders of Founded
- 5:30on u.s. Dominance after 1945 which dominance
- 5:35is Maybe not gonna stick around.
- 5:38So his argument was the u.s. Itself
- 5:42is in a systemic crisis Polaroid polarized Run
- 5:48by an isolated expert cast in Washington and
- 5:54Rich and poor with the middle-class Devastated
- 5:59over the last 15-30 years between there
- 6:03and So I wanted to compare it and
- 6:07obviously when he gave this speech several months
- 6:09ago he was unaware of what Trump was
- 6:12going to be doing after he took office
- 6:14and I am taking the point of view
- 6:17that what Trump has done in Venezuela What
- 6:20he's doing with secondary sanctions what he's doing
- 6:24with Perhaps embargoes what he is doing with
- 6:28things of that nature are are gonna cause
- 6:33more problem for him and so we did
- 6:36get through the point where we were talking
- 6:38about the new 1914 moment Which is you
- 6:45know back in that that time period was
- 6:47the beginning of automobiles and getting away from
- 6:50horses and buggies to beginning of Radio the
- 6:54beginning of electricity the Development of Weapons that
- 7:02are Tanks and things of that nature and
- 7:07he's his argument was that now how militaries
- 7:10fight how economies allocate resources how international global
- 7:17systems are being affected and so Then I
- 7:23want to fold into that the analysis of
- 7:25what Trump is doing in the language that
- 7:27we are giving which is very similar to
- 7:30what England and China England and France were
- 7:33doing back in 2014 to 1914 1915 there's
- 7:41we're saying stuff now like Maduro's days are
- 7:43numbered.
- 7:44We're engaging in regime change same old nonsense
- 7:48Stuff like that using gunboat diplomacy instead of
- 7:53real diplomacy parking outside of Venezuela with a
- 7:58fleet or a small fleet of US military
- 8:03and threatening them and arguing that we're going
- 8:08to Potentially Blame our attack militarily on Them
- 8:18because for drug issues this has nothing to
- 8:21do with drug issues.
- 8:22No you can believe that or don't believe
- 8:24that I don't really care, but to me
- 8:27this is an excuse for doing what they're
- 8:31doing so I wanted to go into And
- 8:37make sure I could finish with this train
- 8:38of thought tonight, and we're gonna You know
- 8:42last night we talked a little bit about
- 8:45the 1914 issues big technical shifts power shifts
- 8:49the hegemons that were there before France and
- 8:53England and Now we're talking about the West
- 8:58having globalized itself into a corner It's hollowed
- 9:02out its own middle class And it needs
- 9:04permanent enemies to keep the whole mess from
- 9:08flying apart those enemies China Russia and we
- 9:12have been very Eager to make sure that
- 9:17they Continue to be painted as the Bad
- 9:24guys everywhere, you know you can blame anything
- 9:27on Russia these days and nobody will be
- 9:29surprised so in the 1980s to the 2000s
- 9:32Western elites built an economic model That moved
- 9:36production elsewhere in the world all over the
- 9:39place too expensive in America can't do it
- 9:42our Manufacturing was devastated, and it's just not
- 9:47there Bezrukov claimed it is the US and
- 9:53much of the EU that are Distracting and
- 10:00dividing their populations to Distract them from the
- 10:07realities that we you know that we are
- 10:10in the Collapse of the world dominance that
- 10:15we have enjoyed for 80 years do you
- 10:17know?
- 10:18Today, and I didn't read this for rum
- 10:21for my report for last night, but there's
- 10:28a Story that I have paid attention to
- 10:33that Says where is he?
- 10:38It was It was Mertz saying that That
- 10:50Multipolarity is a reality which is one of
- 10:54the first times I have seen that a
- 10:59Foreign well some Foreign that somebody in a
- 11:05Western Place has talked about it now Marco
- 11:08Rubio said something a long time ago when
- 11:11he first got into office talked about multipolarity
- 11:16and said that hegemony is dead and you
- 11:18know said that now we have Mertz saying
- 11:21the same thing and that it's The story
- 11:26is called and this just came out today
- 11:30It's called Mertz laments the end of the
- 11:34old world order Decades of established transatlantic norms
- 11:39and agreements are now called into question.
- 11:42He said Monday at an economic conferences conference
- 11:47hosted by the Zeitung newspaper the Chancellor argued
- 11:52that the world is undergoing the same thing
- 11:55that Bezrukov said a Fundamental shift in political
- 11:59and economic power which is forcing Germany and
- 12:03other nations to decide whether to remain passive
- 12:05or To take an active role in shaping
- 12:09the future political order which will extend far
- 12:13beyond the European continent his quote was We
- 12:18do not yet know what it will look
- 12:20like in a few years But we know
- 12:22quite clearly that the order we have known
- 12:26in the West over the last 80 years
- 12:28and in the East over the last 35
- 12:32years is now coming to an end on
- 12:36These very days weeks and months today the
- 12:40day we meet here He said he said
- 12:43there is a deep rift that has arisen
- 12:46in the u.s That calls into question
- 12:49Almost everything that we have considered right and
- 12:54necessary in Transatlantic relations over the past decades
- 13:00he pointed out The challenges facing Germany talking
- 13:06about the Ukraine conflict relations with China Trade
- 13:10disputes with the u.s. Which he described
- 13:13as being far more complex than simple tariff
- 13:16disagreements These remarks echo the Chancellor's earlier statements
- 13:22that the West is losing global eminence in
- 13:26an October Merit said that the appeal of
- 13:30what we call the free West is visibly
- 13:33declining Russian President Putin has consistently highlighted the
- 13:39inevitability of a Multipolar world as have many
- 13:43other world leaders and he criticizes the rest
- 13:46West for trying to maintain its unipolarity and
- 13:50hegemonic hegemonic Ambitions he has stressed that liberal
- 13:54globalization has outlived its usefulness That's quite an
- 14:00argument now.
- 14:01I would tell you that Mr. Bezrukov has
- 14:10argued Similarly, and we'll get back to that
- 14:13in just a second another story that was
- 14:16published in October Here's Mertz again the appeal
- 14:22of what we call the free West is
- 14:24declining It is no longer self-evident that
- 14:27the world will look to us to the
- 14:29values of liberal democracy New alliances of end
- 14:34of autocracies are forming against us and attacking
- 14:38liberal democracy as a way of life JD
- 14:44Vance said in May he said that the
- 14:48following the Cold War US leaders mistakenly assumed
- 14:53that American primacy was assured but that the
- 14:58era of uncontested US dominance is over That
- 15:03was JD Vance He said that there are
- 15:07serious threats represented by China Russia and other
- 15:11nations Determined to beat us in every domain
- 15:15from spectrum to lower-earth orbit to our
- 15:20supply chain and even our Communication infrastructures now
- 15:25this was Vance.
- 15:26He said that over the past several decades
- 15:29Washington is excessively focused on so-called soft
- 15:33power and gotten into the habit of Here
- 15:37it is meddling in foreign country affairs even
- 15:41when they have very little to do with
- 15:44core American interests and You know President Putin
- 15:49said he observed at the Valdai Club in
- 15:53Sochi That I told you about previously that
- 15:56there are rapid and drastic changes multipolarity is
- 16:00a direct consequence of attempts to establish and
- 16:03preserve global hegemony a response to the obsessive
- 16:07desire to arrange everyone into a single hierarchy
- 16:12with Western countries on top That's very similar
- 16:16to what the world is saying and to
- 16:20what bezrukov said in his speech and what
- 16:24I am comparing his commentary to so You
- 16:31know sanctions embargoes Military actions against Venezuela for
- 16:37God's sake, you know that we get to
- 16:39tell them what to do Trump is basically
- 16:42bragging that you know, it's his idea to
- 16:45create sanctions and says is very Acceptable against
- 16:49anybody who wants to do Business with Russia
- 16:53it means Washington is telling the world We
- 16:56wrecked our own industrial base under globalization And
- 17:00we're now locked in a confrontation with Russia
- 17:03that our experts helped provoke and we expect
- 17:06India China Brazil the Gulf and Southeast Asia
- 17:11To pay for this by giving up cheap
- 17:14energy and profitable trade with Moscow.
- 17:17And if you don't We're gonna go after
- 17:20your exports and your banks That's what that's
- 17:24Trump and he said that's not well That
- 17:28isn't just foreign policy that is exporting your
- 17:30own crises abroad, right?
- 17:33Instead of fixing the contradictions of the American
- 17:37model Which has always been do as I
- 17:40say not as I do do as I
- 17:41tell you you must But those rules don't
- 17:44apply to me He wants to crank up
- 17:48sanctions abroad Force everybody to play his game
- 17:51short term.
- 17:52It might work but long term not He's
- 17:56gonna blame the resulting economic pain on the
- 17:59enemy country, right?
- 18:00and try to jam the rest of the
- 18:02world into this conflict as unpaid partners There
- 18:08was a dress rehearsal of this after 2022
- 18:11Europe blew up its own energy relationship with
- 18:14Russia taking higher prices inflation increased Deindustrialization all
- 18:22for the cause of Ukraine, right?
- 18:24Now the u.s. Is saying all right
- 18:26Europe jumped off the cliff now It's your
- 18:28turn Delhi your turn Brazil and your turn
- 18:32Riyadh and the reaction is exactly what you'd
- 18:36expect From them screw you I don't think
- 18:38so Because India let's talk about India India
- 18:43has expanded its imports of Russian oil after
- 18:462022 It's refining it and reselling some of
- 18:50the product to other people u.s. Is
- 18:52trying to squeeze them with tariffs with threats
- 18:55But Delhi has consistently held the line Jeffrey
- 18:59Sachs said in August and he's an economist
- 19:01I think he understands these things the u
- 19:05.s. Has no right to tell India who
- 19:07it has the right to trade with Washington
- 19:11had hit India with extra tariffs only because
- 19:15it buys Russian oil and India should be
- 19:19looking to replace the u.s. Market not
- 19:23begged to keep it That was what Jeffrey
- 19:25Sachs said and that's not fringe Russian commentary
- 19:30that that's not you know in America That's
- 19:33that's that's not some some loony somewhere.
- 19:36That's Jeffrey Sachs That's an American economist that
- 19:39people have respected for decades in the West
- 19:43and You know they took him seriously when
- 19:46he was writing about development and inequality, but
- 19:49now it is saying You know basically the
- 19:52Emperor has no clothes They act like that's
- 19:56not true And that's India a country Washington
- 20:00still claims is its partner in democracy What
- 20:04do you think Brazil hears when it's told
- 20:06about 500% tariffs on countries trading with
- 20:09Russia What does Saudi Arabia here or the
- 20:12UAE when they see?
- 20:15US drone strikes and naval attacks that are
- 20:18killing alleged narco-terrorists with zero and I
- 20:25mean none due process under Operation Southern Spear
- 20:31a carrier battle group posted off of Venezuela
- 20:35and Trump threatening economic death to anyone who
- 20:40won't help Washington strangle, Moscow They hear the
- 20:46same thing if you don't obey we will
- 20:49find a legal label for you narco-terror
- 20:54Rogue aggressor, and then we will hit you
- 20:58with cruise missiles tariffs or both That's exactly
- 21:04what Bezrukov was saying in his theory in
- 21:08saying the u.s. Is in a position
- 21:10where they need because our Internal problems are
- 21:16so dramatic that you have this this Polarity
- 21:20between you know left and the right you're
- 21:23trained to hate each other You can't tolerate
- 21:26other people's points of view and on top
- 21:29of that the middle class is disappearing It's
- 21:32not gone yet, but it's disappearing Be nice
- 21:35if it was coming back, but I'm not
- 21:37so sure about that But because of those
- 21:40two things Bezrukov says that that's why the
- 21:43u.s. Needs enemies And not enemies in
- 21:47the Hollywood villain sense But structural enemies people
- 21:51you can point at to explain why the
- 21:55globalization folks Keep winning and losers keep losing
- 22:00so if Trump wins Temporarily, which I believe
- 22:05you know he might win for a little
- 22:07while temporarily on this path, but Then again,
- 22:12I also think he hastens the demise But
- 22:16he might have a short-term spike in
- 22:18success.
- 22:19You know what I mean so Trump was
- 22:22sold to a lot of people as the
- 22:24anti-globalist a corrective person fixing the 1980s
- 22:32to 2000s model, but if that were true
- 22:35in substance and not just in slogan I
- 22:40Believe for my part.
- 22:41I would expect him to Admit that the
- 22:45u.s..
- 22:45Cannot micromanage every trade relationship with every single
- 22:50country trading with each other on earth That
- 22:55he would be better at negotiating economic compromises
- 22:58frankly That's a little bit of a surprise
- 23:00to me, and he might even push for
- 23:03a more sane relationship with Russia and China
- 23:08Instead What are we seeing?
- 23:11I mean seriously?
- 23:12What are we seeing he's backing off to
- 23:15the Lindsey Graham's of the world right?
- 23:17He has endorsed now today.
- 23:19I saw something a little different that said
- 23:21he was gonna As long as he kept
- 23:25the ultimate authority whether to do something or
- 23:28not do something Then he would let these
- 23:31things be passed by Congress, but that's not
- 23:35what he's saying the other day He was
- 23:39endorsing the most extreme version of sanctions logic
- 23:42secondary sanctions on the whole world with tariffs
- 23:46designed and the levels of them not to
- 23:49Signal displeasure, but to destroy a country's access
- 23:54to the US market He was talking embargoes
- 23:56if these countries disobey and continue to trade
- 24:00with Russia And on Venezuela He's in a
- 24:05quasi-war posture the peace president is in
- 24:08a quasi-war process posture terror-listing the
- 24:12cartel de las olas allegedly running by being
- 24:18run by Maduro himself massive troop and naval
- 24:22build-up against a Country Then 16,000
- 24:30soldiers out there or soldiers military members Could
- 24:34be Marines could be Navy a string of
- 24:37lethal strikes on boats in the Caribbean labeling
- 24:41them lopsided Lee as Narco-terrorists, I mean
- 24:46why are we willing to believe the government
- 24:49when it says this?
- 24:50But we don't believe them about anything else
- 24:53I mean what makes this any different than
- 24:56any of the other scams that have been
- 24:58going on for years Nothing in my mind
- 25:02So basically he's behaving like a mob boss
- 25:05telling Maduro.
- 25:07Well come talk with me You know we'll
- 25:09we'll deal this out, and maybe maybe I'll
- 25:13let you live Maybe I'll let you live
- 25:17come to the meeting I'd hate for something
- 25:19unfortunate to happen inside your country You know
- 25:22what these 16,000 guys hanging out in
- 25:24the water out there in other words on
- 25:27the economic side Sanctions and the military side
- 25:30Southern Spear Trump isn't dismantling global machinery He's
- 25:35weaponizing it even more brutally Globalization globalization gave
- 25:41the Western capital the ability to move production
- 25:44anywhere in the world Sanctions and tariffs are
- 25:48now used to punish Any state that refuses
- 25:51to line up behind Washington's political agenda How
- 25:55is this any different than what?
- 25:58What?
- 25:59Was being forced upon the world under under
- 26:02Biden or under Obama?
- 26:05from Bezrukov's Perspective the logical evolution is first
- 26:10you build an integrated global market That's under
- 26:12your rules Then you lose control that market
- 26:15as others catch up to you Then you
- 26:17turn the levers of the market currency C
- 26:21lanes banking sanctions into weapons to hold on
- 26:26to power and Trump's 500% tariffs fit
- 26:30that trajectory perfectly What's the other side of
- 26:35the story?
- 26:36Now to be fair.
- 26:38Let's give you the official Western Official narrative
- 26:42right for a minute because you'll hear it
- 26:44on CNN most European capitals even Fox Russia
- 26:50invaded Ukraine and it must be punished or
- 26:54Deterrence collapses right now.
- 26:56I don't believe that you have to believe
- 26:58that in order for the For this to
- 27:03even be remotely plausible sanctions and secondary measures
- 27:08are Defending the rules-based order.
- 27:12Yeah, but there is no rules-based order
- 27:14if it only applies to others and Not
- 27:18to you How would Russia invading Ukraine if
- 27:22you want to call it that be any
- 27:24different than the u.s?
- 27:26calling people narco-terrorists and invading Venezuela Venezuela's
- 27:32a narco dictatorship according to us undermining Regional
- 27:37stability and we Take it upon ourselves to
- 27:42go in and fix that but that's not
- 27:44what we're saying We're saying that they are
- 27:47exporting drugs to us and we can't stop
- 27:51them So we have to blow them up
- 27:53as soon as a boat leaves, Venezuela total
- 27:57crap Operation Southern Spear is about drugs, right?
- 28:03It's not about oil or regime change If
- 28:09you believe that I Have some beachfront land
- 28:13to sell you in Venezuela From that angle
- 28:18Trump is just doing what has to be
- 28:20done, right?
- 28:20I mean according to you know us He
- 28:23just has to do what he has to
- 28:25do push the Allies to be tougher on
- 28:27Russia use economic might of the u.s
- 28:29to isolate So-called aggressors and remove a
- 28:33corrupt regime in Caracas that is running a
- 28:37cartel Well, how about removing a corrupt regime
- 28:40in Ukraine?
- 28:43Oh I got tons of stories on those
- 28:45that I could share with you today but
- 28:47I wanted to finish my my topic from
- 28:49last night, so We might get to that.
- 28:52I'm Making pretty good progress here and we
- 28:56might be able to Speak about a few
- 28:58of those things There are some grains of
- 29:02truth that reasonable people can argue over Russia
- 29:06did move troops across an internationally recognized border
- 29:11in 2022 That's a fact but you can
- 29:15debate the context and prior provocation and whether
- 29:19they were invited after Referenda we use referenda
- 29:25all the time By other people, but it's
- 29:29only our referenda that count right?
- 29:31nobody else's referenda matter they Clearly were forced
- 29:38to vote that way that those those aren't
- 29:41that's not that way Venezuela is a mess
- 29:44internally corruption mismanagement criminal networks, but if you
- 29:49think that us Engaging in regime change You
- 29:55know hello Ukraine Eliminates corruption just take the
- 30:02articles.
- 30:02I read you on Sunday the news stories
- 30:05that I told you about So the the
- 30:07official story though in the West never ever
- 30:11confronts never Proportionality selectivity if punishment for aggression
- 30:18and corruption were really principles Saudi Arabia Israel
- 30:24half of Africa and a list of US
- 30:26allies Would be sanctioned back into the Stone
- 30:30Age, but they're not So the principle is
- 30:34clearly US power and alignment not some abstract
- 30:39term of law Let's talk about the domestic
- 30:44drivers Western elites also rarely admit that their
- 30:48own populations are angry and unstable because of
- 30:52our own decades of Deindustrialization and inequality it's
- 30:57easier to treat the anger as a response
- 31:00to foreign villains and social media misinformation and
- 31:06what does that create friends and neighbors a
- 31:09boomerang effect threatening India Brazil the Gulf ASEAN
- 31:14and the rest of the countries of the
- 31:17Global South with 500% tariffs and Secondary
- 31:21sanctions doesn't defend a global order it just
- 31:25tells them You will never be safe here.
- 31:29You should build something else Which is exactly
- 31:33what they're doing with bricks the Shanghai cooperation
- 31:37organization and others So where does this leave
- 31:41us?
- 31:42Bezrukov claim is that globalization itself wrecked the
- 31:47Western middle class Who exported all X all
- 31:53Manufacturing elsewhere it over concentrated the wealth among
- 31:57them Because they didn't have any penalty for
- 32:00moving all of their stuff outside of the
- 32:02US and instead of serious reform Western elites
- 32:06are holding the system together creating permanent enemies
- 32:10and weaponizing alleged interdependence and Trump These secondary
- 32:16sanctions on anyone who trades with Russia in
- 32:18a quasi war posture against Venezuela Doesn't break
- 32:23that pattern it intensifies it so what the
- 32:28message is that the West and chiefly the
- 32:32United States is Sending to the Global South
- 32:36and to Eurasia the fastest growing parts of
- 32:40the world With the fastest GDP growth to
- 32:44by the way is saying you are not
- 32:48our partners You are our subjects your trade
- 32:54your energy your politics are all Conditional upon
- 33:00our approval my approval if you're drunk Step
- 33:04out a line Maduro and we're coming not
- 33:08only for you But for your economy your
- 33:10ports and your government if you still think
- 33:16that sitting in New Delhi Brasilia Riyadh Pretoria,
- 33:19Jakarta or even Mexico City This doesn't make
- 33:23you say Wow America is back I Don't
- 33:29think so.
- 33:30I think it makes you say we need
- 33:33bricks.
- 33:34We need the Shanghai cooperation Organization and we
- 33:39need most importantly alternative payment systems and supply
- 33:44chains yesterday That's what they're all saying so
- 33:48Trump is going to make the change occur
- 33:53even faster one man in Washington Can destroy
- 33:59all of these?
- 34:04globalization efforts right With a pen stroke I
- 34:09Don't know.
- 34:10I think this is globalization's hangover.
- 34:12I think it's the it's it's exactly the
- 34:15opposite I think he's trying to save Globalization
- 34:19and keep it the way it was but
- 34:22the parties over the middle class is sick
- 34:24and instead of sobering up and Making reasonable
- 34:28choices the system is picking fights with neighbors
- 34:31for making too much noise That's what I
- 34:35think so now I Truly believe that Trump
- 34:39is shoving the world into bricks and SEO
- 34:42Let's zoom out from these and take a
- 34:44look at the map the way bez Rukov
- 34:46did right?
- 34:48His third argument is at the age of
- 34:51the single Western centered system is over, right?
- 34:55from one pyramid to several civilization blocks For
- 35:0030 years after 1991 the world has run
- 35:03on a simple script dollars at the center
- 35:06EU and US financial system is the spine
- 35:11NATO and US bases are the enforcement arm
- 35:14World Trade Organization IMF World Bank are the
- 35:18alleged rules and funding But bez Rukov's point
- 35:23is that the unipolar pyramid is crank cracking
- 35:29And it is and what's emerging instead are
- 35:33large regional blocks that want to engage in
- 35:38their own rules bricks nine members and another
- 35:4313 or 14 partner countries so 11 members
- 35:48Brazil Russia India China, South Africa Egypt Ethiopia
- 35:53Iran UAE Saudi Arabia and Indonesia On top
- 35:58of that partner countries like Belarus Bolivia Cuba
- 36:02Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria Thailand Uganda and Uzbekistan that's
- 36:08a big a big pile and Shanghai cooperation
- 36:12Organization has ten full members now China Russia
- 36:16India Pakistan Iran Belarus in the Central Asian
- 36:19five covers 65 percent of Eurasia's land and
- 36:2542 percent of the world's population Add that
- 36:32up and you are very close to most
- 36:35of humanity concentrated a cost across Eurasia and
- 36:41Its periphery trying in very messy and slow
- 36:44ways to create something not controlled by Washington
- 36:49these blocks exist because They think they say
- 36:56to themselves We don't want Washington to be
- 36:59able to flip a switch on us kill
- 37:02our trade Regime change our leaders kill our
- 37:09banks kill our energy flow even India India
- 37:15doesn't need the US as much as the
- 37:17US needs India now you can dispute that
- 37:20But that's what I say and and I
- 37:24believe that and I think that the that
- 37:27the Proof will be in the pudding for
- 37:30that.
- 37:30Okay So Trump's sanctions bill and then a
- 37:35block warfare Okay, let's drop that on top
- 37:38of that So his bill that he's allegedly
- 37:41backing is 500 percent tariffs on resale of
- 37:44Russian oil Expanded sanctions to countries banks firms
- 37:50that keep doing business with Russia He publicly
- 37:54warns that countries trading with Russia and Iran
- 37:57will be very severely sanctioned That's not aimed
- 38:02at Moscow that's aimed at India the top
- 38:06buyer of Russian seaborne crude China the Gulf
- 38:11States Half of BRICS and SCO membership This
- 38:17isn't just to punish Russia.
- 38:19It's to punish anyone who dares act like
- 38:23a sovereign partner of Russia that is anti
- 38:28-block warfare the use of residual power of
- 38:33the dollar and the US market to stop
- 38:37the Eurasian economic space from working together and
- 38:43They are working together the latest Shanghai cooperation
- 38:47organization in the ocean that took place over
- 38:50there Unbelievable cooperation and unbelievable projects.
- 38:54They were putting out over there So it's
- 38:57it's a big deal Same thing goes with
- 39:00Venezuela put a carry group off the coast
- 39:03frame their leadership as narco terrorists You send
- 39:06a message.
- 39:07What are we doing?
- 39:08We're sending a message to Latin America the
- 39:12Latin America half of BRICS and BRICS partners
- 39:16your membership in our hemisphere is conditional on
- 39:21obedience, right Brazil Bolivia Argentina are all watching
- 39:27this very carefully Southern spear isn't only about
- 39:31Caracas.
- 39:32It's a warning shot across the entire Latin
- 39:37American wing of any non-us-aligned block
- 39:43What's did let's talk about this boomerang and
- 39:46this is where bez Rukh of?
- 39:49And I line up completely the strategy backfires.
- 39:53This is a boomerang and The numbers and
- 39:57the direction of travel just prove it Braxton
- 40:00Braxton BRICS has expanded from 5 to 11
- 40:04full members by 2025 Its own official outlets
- 40:09and outside analysts say openly the goal is
- 40:12to challenge the Western dominated Monetary order and
- 40:16give the global South its own platform No
- 40:21IMF No World Bank no increased BRICS
- 40:31Development Bank increase Chinese Yuan backing Why are
- 40:40countries lining up to join these things why?
- 40:46Because every round of u.s. Sanctions and
- 40:49threats screams at them if you stay in
- 40:52our system alone We're gonna choke you anytime
- 40:55we like when Trump threatens India with massive
- 40:58tariffs and still it stops buying Russian oil
- 41:01and India shrugs and keeps on buying from
- 41:04Russia That is not a sign that the
- 41:07u.s. Is running the place it's a
- 41:10sign that India is already halfway out of
- 41:13the Western tent and hedging through BRICS and
- 41:16SEO ties When Washington hits Rosneft and Luke
- 41:21oil with full blocking sanctions that are supposed
- 41:24to take place What is it?
- 41:26November 21 isn't it and hints at secondary
- 41:30sanctions on China and India?
- 41:32The result isn't everyone dumping Russia It's a
- 41:36short-term pause a price spike and then
- 41:40more creative routing of Russian oil through friendly
- 41:43hubs The kind of sanction proof supply chain
- 41:47BRICS in the SEO are trying to build
- 41:50from Beijing Moscow Delhi Tehran and a lot
- 41:55of African capitals Trump's posture is looking like
- 41:59We will never treat you as equals.
- 42:02The only safety for them is to build
- 42:07a parallel system So yes threatening embargo like
- 42:12penalties on Russia's partners Trump is giving BRICS
- 42:17and SEO their best recruitment strategy So let's
- 42:21try to be fair.
- 42:22I don't want to beat up on Trump
- 42:23too bad I disagree with what he's doing,
- 42:25but the Trump camp says for balance, you
- 42:29know, we're gonna provide that right?
- 42:31Russia invaded Ukraine.
- 42:33Here we go again secondary sanctions are Necessary
- 42:36to close loopholes.
- 42:38Otherwise, Russia will keep selling through India or
- 42:41Dubai and our pressure is no good SEO
- 42:44and BRICS are Authoritarian clubs that need to
- 42:48be contained before they rewrite the so-called
- 42:52rules in favor of Aggressor governments, right Rules
- 43:01based order they're defending rules based order.
- 43:05They're not talking about hegemony They're talking about
- 43:07rules based order, but the rules never apply
- 43:11to us, right?
- 43:13So on moral grounds, you know, you could
- 43:15talk about it, but it doesn't work so
- 43:19bezruk of With Trump that is is I
- 43:23think that that point purely and Positively points
- 43:31out that these other Entities are here to
- 43:36stay they might take a little bit of
- 43:39heat little trouble in Creation a little trouble
- 43:44in growth, but there you have it Now
- 43:49Let's talk about because that was the outside
- 43:52of America now, let's talk about inside of
- 43:54America the American internal crisis Bezruk of says
- 44:02there's been three cycles and this is why
- 44:04in his in his Statement Trump is a
- 44:08symptom not a cure now Maybe that's not
- 44:12quite Accurate I don't know but he says
- 44:15the American state model that ran the world
- 44:17after 1945 is exhausted Trump didn't appear out
- 44:23of nowhere.
- 44:24He said He showed up because he's a
- 44:28byproduct of American Exhaustion in that system and
- 44:34what he's doing with Venezuela and sanctions tells
- 44:37us whether he's treating the disease Or feeding
- 44:41it on steroids So bezruk of gave three
- 44:45state cycles and why the third one is
- 44:47a breaking point He leans on the idea
- 44:50from a guy named George Friedman that the
- 44:53US has gone through three political institutional cycles
- 44:57founding to the Civil War Confederation verse centralized
- 45:01Union it ended with a strong federal state
- 45:04Slavery got abolished Industrial North was victorious.
- 45:08Okay, then the second period cycle Civil War
- 45:12to 1945 US became an industrial superpower half
- 45:17of the world GDP was US by 1945
- 45:22and it built a continental economy tamed to
- 45:27the West created the New Deal state and
- 45:31then 1945 until now the u.s. Is
- 45:35own imperial cycle Bretton Woods NATO the CIA
- 45:42dollar hegemony US Agency for International Development IMF
- 45:47World Bank institutions designed for one task in
- 45:52one task only to run the world from
- 45:56Washington the third cycle He says and I
- 46:02happen to agree is dying The US share
- 46:08of the world GDP is under 20%
- 46:13Others have more industry nukes tech and satellites
- 46:20but the US bureaucracy military posture and Political
- 46:25mythology are still wired only for global management
- 46:30So in plain language, it's like a 70
- 46:33year old still trying to act like the
- 46:35heavyweight champion of the world But his knees
- 46:38are gone.
- 46:39He can't hit his heart and his lungs
- 46:41are shot and That is where I believe
- 46:46We're we might not be there just yet
- 46:49because we still have the strongest military in
- 46:52the world I believe that I Believe there
- 46:56are people nipping in our heels.
- 46:58I Don't believe we're as invincible as we
- 47:01think we are Let's talk about shareholder capitalism
- 47:07and the bubble machine on top of that
- 47:11institutional fatigue You know on top of that
- 47:15there's an economic model that Bezrukov ripped in
- 47:19his speech without Mercy, it's called shareholder capitalism,
- 47:26okay that these elitists Spend a million bucks
- 47:32paying for somebody's new New company some guy
- 47:37invents something who knows what?
- 47:40built a better mousetrap, right and So it's
- 47:44all Somebody somebody puts up the million then
- 47:49they get the same people to talk about
- 47:52how wonderful this new this new mousetrap is
- 47:57So that their initial shares turn into massive
- 48:03piles of money Massive Growth in their million
- 48:11-dollar investment and Everybody else throwing their their
- 48:16money in there what it allows them to
- 48:18do is maximize their growth the same elite
- 48:26all the time and Doing the exact same
- 48:30thing instead of in the country investing in
- 48:33a long-term R&D or industry Corporations
- 48:38borrow cheaply buy back their own stock pump
- 48:42executive bonuses and call that value creation, right?
- 48:47Financial firms do the exact same thing They
- 48:50hype a tech or defense or a green
- 48:52bubble floated on the market for retail suckers
- 48:55Get out before it pops the military industrial
- 48:58complex complex plays the game with their war
- 49:02toys five billion dollar weapon systems that Don't
- 49:06do what they say they did or rarely
- 49:08get built in time Endless R&D a
- 49:11handful of units built then we need to
- 49:14create another one The point is that a
- 49:17huge chunk of American elite income comes from
- 49:20maneuvering these papers Not from building things the
- 49:26economy is hooked on speculation and deficit spending
- 49:31real industrial capacity Has eroded it so we
- 49:37don't have it What do you need to
- 49:40keep this going?
- 49:42You need continued narratives that justify constant military
- 49:48budget constant sanctions Constant emergency, I mean think
- 49:55about it gulf 1 gulf 2 Afghanistan Ukraine
- 50:01all of these are ours.
- 50:03What do we get out any of them?
- 50:04Seriously?
- 50:05What did we get?
- 50:07Since that the u.s. Is always under
- 50:09siege and we must outspend everyone to protect
- 50:12ourself and save our people Doesn't it sound
- 50:17exactly what we're being sold about Russia China
- 50:21Iran and now?
- 50:23Venezuela, I think it does How about?
- 50:29inequality Atomization and the expert state there's let's
- 50:34look at here's what pegs bezrukov talks about
- 50:37the American Countries itself and remember he was
- 50:42here for 20 years that he was educated
- 50:45at Harvard.
- 50:46He says These are graphs that Americans hardly
- 50:53ever see on TV The top 1%
- 50:57line is shooting up the bottom 50%
- 51:01line is crawling along the floor and has
- 51:04been flat for decades Add to that no
- 51:08stable community Families are scattered Friendships are replaced
- 51:13by a TV screen or a phone screen
- 51:16Education has decayed in the United States.
- 51:20That is Absolutely true and it is without
- 51:24question Russia creates three times the number of
- 51:31engineers that America does China is producing them
- 51:35faster than Russia and India is faster than
- 51:39both of them and Not not junk ones
- 51:44either Not at all and We aren't producing
- 51:49anywhere near the amount that the rest of
- 51:52the world is We have a debt culture
- 51:55student loans credit cards car loans households and
- 51:58permanent Hawk Into that vacuum steps what bezrukov
- 52:05calls the expert state what Americans love to
- 52:09call the deep state when they're angry and
- 52:12his Deep state definition Is not the same
- 52:17as mine, but I want to tell you
- 52:20What he says it is It is career
- 52:23officials in DC agencies think tanks lifers at
- 52:29NGOs intelligence community operators and the compliant media
- 52:37They stay regardless of which party wins the
- 52:41election They set the default options Politicians come
- 52:46and go but this permanent class defines what
- 52:49is and isn't US policy The media is
- 52:55a narrative engine not a watchdog He talked
- 52:59about how years ago you actually got news
- 53:03you got Investigation you got journalism and right
- 53:07now We have a media system that doesn't
- 53:10see itself as a watchdog, but as an
- 53:13instrument of social management They select stories they
- 53:18frame energies our enemies.
- 53:21I mean and they suppress unwanted fact They
- 53:26manufacture consent for whatever the elite project of
- 53:30the month is Iraqi weapons of mass destruction
- 53:35Russia gate hysteria see Chatham see just I
- 53:39can't believe I said that that's Russian for
- 53:41now Narco-terrorist Maduro Countries to buy Russian
- 53:46oil are complicit in genocide these type sort
- 53:49of narratives that are passed out along here
- 53:54Bezrukov's line is that u.s. Discourse is
- 53:57now a closed loop Experts and media talk
- 54:02mostly to each other in DC in New
- 54:05York and ordinary Americans live in a different
- 54:08country entirely and The gap between them is
- 54:12filled with anger conspiracy and mutual contempt for
- 54:15each other I Think that's pretty damn accurate,
- 54:19which is why I wanted to share his
- 54:22his discussion his presentation as and so enter
- 54:28Donald Trump Is he a reformer?
- 54:33Hmm, or is he an amplifier now?
- 54:37Let's bring him back into it his sales
- 54:39pitch to the American voter was this They
- 54:42sold you out to China They invaded Iraq
- 54:46for nothing They let the border collapse They
- 54:51got rich you got fentanyl and Walmart jobs
- 54:56in other words He campaigned directly on the
- 55:01crisis Bezrukov described hollowed-out industry corrupt elites
- 55:07and useless war on paper Everybody imagines he's
- 55:13very very different and you can imagine two
- 55:16different Trump presidencies coming out of that a
- 55:20real restructure perhaps slash overseas commitment De-weaponized
- 55:26a dollar cut back the military-industrial Complex
- 55:31rebuild manufacturing compromise with Russia and China where
- 55:36possible hmm, that's a restructure, right or an
- 55:43Angrier manager of the exact same Empire that's
- 55:48been going on For at least the last
- 55:5130 years and probably the last 80, right?
- 55:55Keep the global machine running but shout louder
- 55:59and swing the sanctions and military club harder
- 56:03What what shocks me if I if I
- 56:07can say so and I do say so
- 56:09what shocks me about?
- 56:11Trump is that for months all we talked
- 56:17about was him and How he brought peace
- 56:20everywhere peace peace peace Where's my Nobel Prize
- 56:24while Obama got one?
- 56:26Where's mine?
- 56:27Obama didn't even do anything and I agree
- 56:30with that concept but now we're bombing the
- 56:34crap out of a little boat a Little
- 56:39a little Narco-terrorist boat and not stopping
- 56:44it Why not?
- 56:48I don't believe that is creating peace.
- 56:52I just don't I disagree Quite a lot.
- 56:59I disagree with that topic.
- 57:02So What?
- 57:05Let's see Ask your own ask yourself these
- 57:12sanctions These build up off of Venezuela Does
- 57:17that weaken the expert state plus the military
- 57:21industrial complex plus the media?
- 57:24complex or Does it feed it?
- 57:28Who benefits if more ships are deployed More
- 57:33weapons are ordered more sanctions bureaucrats get hired
- 57:38More think tanks write white papers about the
- 57:42secondary sanctions architecture Not the guy in Ohio
- 57:47that wants a decent job.
- 57:49Not the woman in, Missouri You know working
- 57:52at Walmart and drowning in medical debt That's
- 57:57the exact strata that bez Rukov is warning
- 58:00about the Imperial manager class that lives off
- 58:04global tension What's the domestic political payoff Home
- 58:12front politics Trump understands very very well that
- 58:16foreign confrontation can help paper over domestic contradiction
- 58:22Talk about a crushing cartel, you know crushing
- 58:26a cartel in Venezuela and you can dodge
- 58:29Awkward questions about US demand US based money
- 58:34laundering and the fact that banks in New
- 58:36York are Have been caught washing drug money
- 58:39and nothing happens to them Talk about punishing
- 58:44Russia's partners and you can blame domestic inflation
- 58:47energy prices Industrial decline on countries that refuse
- 58:51to stand with us Rather than on 30
- 58:55years of offshoring and Wall Street rule in
- 58:58Theory he's the guy who tells the hard
- 59:01truth, but in practice on these two fronts.
- 59:04He's offering the same externalized excuses Washington always
- 59:10offers It's not our model it's not our
- 59:15inequality.
- 59:16It's Russians Venezuelans Indians Chinese Iranians narcos and
- 59:22terrorists that's safer politically than walking into a
- 59:27town hall and saying We built a casino
- 59:31economy for years and we need to tear
- 59:34half of it down and accept being one
- 59:37strong country among several Not the Emperor of
- 59:41the planet.
- 59:43I Don't understand why we can't say that.
- 59:45I think we should say that Let's talk
- 59:50about the counter argument and why it still
- 59:52falls short to be fair The case from
- 59:56the other side would sound like this the
- 59:58deep state has boxed Trump in He has
- 1:00:01to use the existing tools Sanctions and deployments
- 1:00:05to get leverage to get out.
- 1:00:08He's using pressure on Venezuela and Russia to
- 1:00:11do what?
- 1:00:13negotiate better deals not for endless war and
- 1:00:18And Secondary sanctions are the only way to
- 1:00:22really hurt Moscow and end the Ukraine mess
- 1:00:25quickly.
- 1:00:26I Don't believe any one of those Arguably
- 1:00:32the deep state on boxing him in I
- 1:00:34think that's probably true You could grant that
- 1:00:37some people around Trump may sincerely believe those
- 1:00:41three Concepts you can even accept that he
- 1:00:44doesn't like some of the things that he
- 1:00:46has to be selling us You know parts
- 1:00:50the CIA and you know stuff like that.
- 1:00:52He sees them as saboteurs to DOJ any
- 1:00:56of them but outcomes matter more than intentions
- 1:01:00here every new sanction paction package deepens bureaucracy
- 1:01:06of economic warfare Every carrier deployment feeds shipyards
- 1:01:13weapon manufacturers and four-stars who live off
- 1:01:16of global policing Every time he sells confrontation
- 1:01:21as the answer to our domestic pain He
- 1:01:25avoids admitting that the pain comes from America's
- 1:01:28own model that's why through the lens of
- 1:01:32Bezrukov Trump looks less like a Revolutionary and
- 1:01:37more like yet another in America's long political
- 1:01:42crisis The system is too rigid to reform
- 1:01:46honestly too fragile to accept a retreat So
- 1:01:49it produces louder Cruder leaders who promised to
- 1:01:54fix it with more of the same medicine
- 1:01:59so where does this leave the u.s.
- 1:02:01According to Bezrukov and Why does it matter
- 1:02:04anyway for everybody else Bezrukov's forecast was that
- 1:02:09the internal American crisis institutional economic and social
- 1:02:15Will last at least another decade before a
- 1:02:19new equilibrium appears In that time and remember
- 1:02:23this all started with saying that we're in
- 1:02:25for a 10-year change That is going
- 1:02:28to be dramatic because of a lot of
- 1:02:31things And in that time policy is in
- 1:02:35the u.s. Is going to be erratic
- 1:02:38Personality driven and contradictory You're seeing that even
- 1:02:43now talk about America first combined with moves
- 1:02:47that overextend American power even more embargo threats
- 1:02:52against half the planet Possible new Latin American
- 1:02:58Quagmire that we don't need for the rest
- 1:03:01of the world, especially Eurasia in the global
- 1:03:03south The lesson is very simple.
- 1:03:06Don't expect Washington to be a rational settled
- 1:03:09actor anytime soon We're gonna have mood straight
- 1:03:14mood swings domestic grandstanding policy driven by internal
- 1:03:19decay as much as by any coherent strategy
- 1:03:22and The same thing is going to occur
- 1:03:25every three four years.
- 1:03:28We're gonna reverse That's unfortunate But that's the
- 1:03:32world Bezrukov describes and Trump whether he likes
- 1:03:35it or not is part of the symptom
- 1:03:38Not the surgical team.
- 1:03:40That's gonna fix it.
- 1:03:42I Wish I was wrong.
- 1:03:44I really do but I don't think I
- 1:03:47am so let's talk about the Globalists The
- 1:03:54two different American economies how Trump has slid
- 1:03:58back into Lindsey Graham's world Let's talk about
- 1:04:02this Has Trump actually broken with globalist empire
- 1:04:08or has he been?
- 1:04:10Brought back in or has he himself bought
- 1:04:14back in good question two economies two different
- 1:04:20elite classes and Bezrukov's lecture he described two
- 1:04:25different American economies layered on top of each
- 1:04:27other The first economy is globalism centered on
- 1:04:33finance big tech media consulting and law It
- 1:04:39lives in New York DC Silicon Valley few
- 1:04:42wealthy coastal metros Make money from what global
- 1:04:47capital?
- 1:04:49IP rent Financial engineering ad tech and surveillance
- 1:04:54and government contracts If push comes to shove
- 1:04:58a lot of these firms could move their
- 1:05:00headquarters to Singapore or Dublin never miss a
- 1:05:03beat Their real home is the dollar system
- 1:05:06in the Anglo-American legal financial Architecture not
- 1:05:10any particular town in Ohio The second economy
- 1:05:16is the real America factories logistics energy Agriculture
- 1:05:21construction trucking Lives chiefly in the Midwest the
- 1:05:26South and the interior West the places DC
- 1:05:30pundits call flyover country It competes directly with
- 1:05:36Japan Germany China Korea Mexico They need sane
- 1:05:42exchange rates stable energy prices predictable trade not
- 1:05:47constant sanctions chaos Bezrukov points out that these
- 1:05:52two economies have very different interests and their
- 1:05:56elites increasingly hate each other The globalist layer
- 1:06:02want open borders for capital permanent war for
- 1:06:06contracts and a world where the dollar is
- 1:06:08the?
- 1:06:09unquestionable unquestioned referee The real layer want protection
- 1:06:14from Chinese overcapacity European subsidies and Wall Street
- 1:06:19offshoring all of their industrial capacity That's what
- 1:06:24they want.
- 1:06:24He also made a very interesting comment about
- 1:06:32because I definitely believe this the strongest arm
- 1:06:37of American regulation law Whatever is The
- 1:06:47judiciary Absolutely without question the people who run
- 1:06:55the top of all of these things of
- 1:06:58the legal practice Nationwide and I get a
- 1:07:03lecture on this topic for days Are people
- 1:07:06that are picked?
- 1:07:08from the very beginning of law school They're
- 1:07:12already in the mix don't tell me that
- 1:07:16the people who get judicial Clerkships at the
- 1:07:22Supreme Court or any appellate court are people
- 1:07:26from you know Joe's School of Law They
- 1:07:30all come from big-time schools that these
- 1:07:34and this is how you get put into
- 1:07:39These positions later in life that that's You're
- 1:07:44picked Way back when you are in the
- 1:07:49mix and you got to screw up to
- 1:07:50be pulled out of it And if you
- 1:07:52don't kiss the ring, and you're a lawyer
- 1:07:54Trust me.
- 1:07:56I know all about this they will destroy
- 1:08:00you as soon as and they won't think
- 1:08:02twice about it and They control remember me
- 1:08:06what is all this nonsense about Unconstitutional this
- 1:08:12or we're striking down that or we're gonna
- 1:08:15make the president to X you know We're
- 1:08:18all of these things the power is Not
- 1:08:22in the other branches to powers in the
- 1:08:24judiciary and it's worse in the states It
- 1:08:29just is so Let's go further into and
- 1:08:34I sidetracked that because that was one part
- 1:08:37of his but it's not a huge part
- 1:08:38of his of his speech, but after 2016
- 1:08:44Trump's red America against a globalist that was
- 1:08:48a big deal back in 2016 Trump rode
- 1:08:50to Washington as a political weapon of Red
- 1:08:54America he slammed NAFTA China trade deals.
- 1:08:58He trashed Iraq and Libya Adventures, he called
- 1:09:01out NATO freeloaders.
- 1:09:02He talked about bringing factories home drilling at
- 1:09:05home ignoring Brussels in Beziruk of analytic framework
- 1:09:10Trump was the rebellion of red America in
- 1:09:132016 the America that fights the wars runs
- 1:09:17the rigs against the blue-glass classes in
- 1:09:19DC in Manhattan He had some sympathy inside
- 1:09:23the military especially among officers who'd watched Iraq
- 1:09:26and Afghanistan Up close and knew that the
- 1:09:29the war machine is broken Beziruk of sketched
- 1:09:34an idea of a new model move from
- 1:09:38an Apple world one control center the u
- 1:09:43.s. to an Android world several strong powers
- 1:09:48where the u.s. Is still first among
- 1:09:50equals But is no longer a dictator This
- 1:09:55was his suggestion in that model a Trump
- 1:09:59would have cut loose hopeless imperial projects like
- 1:10:05Ukraine Pulled troops and bases back out of
- 1:10:08Europe like he said he was going to
- 1:10:11accepted that Eurasia can organize itself and Focused
- 1:10:15on rebuilding America's domestic base and regional sphere.
- 1:10:19That's the fortress America idea One big hard
- 1:10:25rich North American block not a global cop
- 1:10:30Okay Trump in 2025 Hugging Lindsey Graham Now
- 1:10:40compare the theoretical Trump with the one we
- 1:10:43actually have in front of us today on
- 1:10:46Russia, he's now Explicitly backing a Senate effort
- 1:10:51led exactly by Lindsey Graham crowd to impose
- 1:10:57devastating secondary sanctions and tariffs on countries that
- 1:11:01keep trading with Russia Tell me that Lindsey
- 1:11:05Graham isn't getting rich off of this Personally
- 1:11:10tell me that Lindsey Graham spends more time
- 1:11:14in his home state Than he does in
- 1:11:18Kiev, I don't think he does Those things
- 1:11:22this means he has to hit India China
- 1:11:25Gulf Brazil anyone who buys oil and gas
- 1:11:28It doesn't launder it through a u.s.
- 1:11:30Approved channel.
- 1:11:31That isn't fortress America America, that's a globalist
- 1:11:35enforcement again Same old people just different time.
- 1:11:41We still think the u.s. Has a
- 1:11:43right to police who trades With who and
- 1:11:47everywhere?
- 1:11:47I don't think so on Venezuela he's fronting
- 1:11:51a massive military buildup carriers destroyers submarines 16
- 1:11:56,000 troop because of anti-cartel operations drug
- 1:12:01runners he's allowed the system to frame Maduro
- 1:12:04and The cartel de la souls as narco
- 1:12:07terrorists this opens the door to decades of
- 1:12:10bombing raids Sanctions and regime change more importantly
- 1:12:16floats talks with Missouri, but Maduro but refuses
- 1:12:19to rule out ground troops and Also says
- 1:12:23that Maduro's days are numbered that also is
- 1:12:26not fortress America If you Lynn say who
- 1:12:30the winners and losers are from this winners
- 1:12:34defense contractors Sanctions lawyers compliance departments DC think
- 1:12:40tanks as same old people financial players who
- 1:12:45live on volatility and emergency policy Who are
- 1:12:49the losers?
- 1:12:51US manufacturers US consumers and Latin American and
- 1:13:00American citizens who bear the cost of the
- 1:13:03conflict war Seems to me that Trump is
- 1:13:11citing at least in practice with the globalist
- 1:13:14war economy and not the real economy America
- 1:13:18the red America that voted for him So
- 1:13:21has he been bought by neocons?
- 1:13:25I?
- 1:13:26Don't know I Don't think it's crazy to
- 1:13:29think so Lindsey Graham wing is scripting the
- 1:13:32Russia sanctions for sure The same neocon networks
- 1:13:36to push Iraq and Libya are pushing regime
- 1:13:39change in Caracas That also is for sure
- 1:13:43The air America first rhetoric is still there
- 1:13:46for rallies, but the policy machinery Doesn't smell
- 1:13:50that way From my standpoint that isn't accidental
- 1:13:55not right now The Empire is reabsorbing the
- 1:14:00maverick You can rant about CNN and the
- 1:14:03FBI But if at the level of action
- 1:14:07you give the system more sanction more deployment
- 1:14:10and more foreign enemies the core projects survive
- 1:14:15and in fact get stronger and that is
- 1:14:20What we are watching Trump may genuinely loathe
- 1:14:24this part of the bureaucracy He may genuinely
- 1:14:27believe he's being tough to get better deals
- 1:14:31But the net effect is the same more
- 1:14:35integration between Maga-politics and the old neocon
- 1:14:38foreign policy Elite not a break from it
- 1:14:44the counterpoint to this and a lot of
- 1:14:47people tell me this the counterpoint is He's
- 1:14:53just leveraging for a better deal his defenders
- 1:14:56say this all the time.
- 1:14:58This is rhetoric Venezuela build up his pressure
- 1:15:02to negotiate not Iraq or Ukraine 2.0
- 1:15:07500% tariffs threat is to force India
- 1:15:11and China to bargain and then he'll cut
- 1:15:14a beautiful deal Long term he still wants
- 1:15:17to reduce war bring troops back home and
- 1:15:20shift cost to allies Maybe he does believe
- 1:15:23some of that.
- 1:15:24I don't know but the brutal question that
- 1:15:26has to be asked is does any of
- 1:15:30this talk Any of what he's doing Weaken
- 1:15:34the global war and sanctions machine or does
- 1:15:39it feed it?
- 1:15:41Every time you normalize threatening a country with
- 1:15:44nuclear level terrorists for trading with somebody you
- 1:15:48dislike or Put a carrier group off of
- 1:15:51somebody's coast if they piss you off or
- 1:15:54create a political problem You know like you
- 1:15:57train the system to default to exactly the
- 1:16:00same tools Institutionalizing exactly the same behavior and
- 1:16:07That is the behavior of the globalist first
- 1:16:11economy Not the red America economy the real
- 1:16:17America economy truck drivers Machinists nurses small businesses
- 1:16:21don't need another front in the Caribbean in
- 1:16:24a sanction war with half of Eurasia the
- 1:16:27people who need that are in very specific
- 1:16:31zip codes around the Pentagon and in New
- 1:16:36York City, so I Don't know.
- 1:16:40I thought it was an interesting concept to
- 1:16:42talk about the fortress America versus the Android
- 1:16:46Android world.
- 1:16:47I thought that was interesting There was an
- 1:16:54interesting sixth concept and The West media hates
- 1:17:00this because it takes all the pretty words
- 1:17:03out It only talks about money and assets
- 1:17:07and this If it's not eye-opening it
- 1:17:11should be So the current Western financial system
- 1:17:15according to bezaruk of is headed for a
- 1:17:18structural crisis when the paper burns Only real
- 1:17:24things matter when the dollar collapses in other
- 1:17:27words, what are the real?
- 1:17:30assets land oil gas metals food water infrastructure
- 1:17:39so the people at the top are quietly
- 1:17:42moving out of paper and into real assets
- 1:17:46and That is one of the biggest parts
- 1:17:51of why Russia especially Russia and Venezuela are
- 1:17:57under permanent pressure and they're under permanent pressure
- 1:18:00by Trump right now These two Trump moves
- 1:18:04Plug right into that paper wealth to hard
- 1:18:09assets For 40 years the West is run
- 1:18:13on cheap money ballooning debt Financing everything and
- 1:18:18evermore exotic paper claims on the real economy
- 1:18:22stocks at absurd multiples Derivatives stacked up on
- 1:18:26top of derivatives real estate bubbles private equity
- 1:18:29leverage People like Ray Dalio not fringe Conspiracists,
- 1:18:35but big-name investors openly warning that the
- 1:18:38u.s. Led order is at the end
- 1:18:40of a long Debt cycle and that China
- 1:18:43is rising as a competing center The big
- 1:18:47players already know the math you cannot inflate
- 1:18:51and borrow your money out of that forever
- 1:18:54so what do you do if you're sitting
- 1:18:56on a mountain of inflated paper and You
- 1:19:00can read a balance sheet You start rotating
- 1:19:04into land and water rights energy infrastructure Mines
- 1:19:09ports Ukraine Controlling states in companies and countries
- 1:19:15that produce things people can't live without Because
- 1:19:18when the dust settles nobody can eat a
- 1:19:22derivative They need to eat food grown on
- 1:19:25land cooked with gas or electricity Moved on
- 1:19:28rails and roads paid for with something people
- 1:19:31trust That's bezaruk of basic point at the
- 1:19:35top end of the system the survival instinct
- 1:19:38is Already kicking in and the globalist elites
- 1:19:43are not stupid and they aren't going to
- 1:19:46sit there holding meme stocks When the music
- 1:19:51stops, they're not gonna do it.
- 1:19:53Why is Russia the biggest prize?
- 1:19:56Let's take this as a as a logical
- 1:19:58step on Any sane metric Russia is a
- 1:20:05ridiculous concentration of oil and gas fresh water
- 1:20:12timber metals and rare-earths arable land plus
- 1:20:16a population that is Educated enough to run
- 1:20:21a modern industrial economy It's also Relatively underpriced
- 1:20:28compared to the resource base precisely because it's
- 1:20:32been sanctioned demonized and politically Isolated for the
- 1:20:37Western asset hunter.
- 1:20:39This is a dream scenario They have huge
- 1:20:43reserves depressed valuation a Political class in the
- 1:20:47West that can be sold on any pressure
- 1:20:50tool as defending democracy, right?
- 1:20:54So bezaruk of his argument isn't it's all
- 1:20:57about Rothschild's in the smoke-filled room It's
- 1:21:00even uglier and simpler than that Pressure on
- 1:21:03Russia is not just about NATO and so
- 1:21:07-called Democratic values.
- 1:21:09It's about making sure that the Russian resources
- 1:21:13stay under a framework ultimately controlled by the
- 1:21:17West dollar clearing Western law Western capital or
- 1:21:23are so crippled that they don't empower a
- 1:21:27rival Okay, so from that point of view,
- 1:21:31let's look at Trump's sanctions gamble He is
- 1:21:37in content with sanctions on Russia's on Russia
- 1:21:40itself banking technology Individuals he's backing a bill
- 1:21:45to hammer any country that keeps doing substantial
- 1:21:48business with Russia Especially on energy Strip away
- 1:21:54the PR and what does this mean?
- 1:21:57It's an attempt to choke off Russia's ability
- 1:22:00to monetize its resource base outside a US
- 1:22:05controlled framework scare away third countries from entering
- 1:22:10long-term energy and mineral deals with Russia
- 1:22:13and Make sure that if and when a
- 1:22:16financial storm hits Russia's either trapped in the
- 1:22:20old dollar circuit or So economically wounded that
- 1:22:26it can't turn its resources into independent power
- 1:22:29That is the asset logic that is Under
- 1:22:35the movement right now Why is Venezuela exhibit
- 1:22:40B?
- 1:22:41Let's look at Venezuela on paper the current
- 1:22:44US buildup is about Narco-terrorism and drug
- 1:22:48smuggling, but in reality Venezuela even according to
- 1:22:54I forget her name the girl who won
- 1:22:58the won the Nobel Prize instead of Trump
- 1:23:02down there We'll sell all our oil to
- 1:23:06the West to us, right?
- 1:23:08Remember that Throw him out and we'll make
- 1:23:12sure you get all the oil.
- 1:23:13She says Venezuela has some of the largest
- 1:23:18proven oil reserves in the world Sits in
- 1:23:21South America where the u.s. Still thinks
- 1:23:23the Monroe Doctrine gives it spiritual landlord rights
- 1:23:27It has a government that plays hardball with
- 1:23:30Western oil majors and and look to Russia
- 1:23:32China Iran and others for alternate bank backing
- 1:23:36Does Caracas have corruption and criminal networks?
- 1:23:40Sure.
- 1:23:40It does It was us not have Don't
- 1:23:44don't we have some pretty good corruption going
- 1:23:47on here But so do half of other
- 1:23:50u.s. Allies of convenience, too So what
- 1:23:53makes Venezuela special is oil location political?
- 1:23:58Disobedience, so what's happening the u.s. Designates?
- 1:24:02you know narco-terrorist and Creates a legal
- 1:24:06basis a fake one, but there it is
- 1:24:10for open-ended Operation for war that it
- 1:24:14gets to create it deploys carrier strike group
- 1:24:18Conducts lethal strikes on boats Calling everybody that
- 1:24:23it kills Narco-terrorist no meaningful public evidence
- 1:24:28zero due process If you do view that
- 1:24:32through bezaruk of This is not a moral
- 1:24:36crusade It's asset management Either you bring Caracas
- 1:24:42under a government that cooperates with the u
- 1:24:46.s. Or you break it you sanction it
- 1:24:49you keep it too weak to be meaningful
- 1:24:52part of any non u.s. Centered block
- 1:24:56bricks SEO links Russian naval presence whatever So
- 1:25:02Russia is a continental prize Venezuela is a
- 1:25:05hemispheric asset same playbook Two theaters Rules and
- 1:25:11human rights versus real stuff to be fair.
- 1:25:14We should lay out the Western official narrative
- 1:25:17against Russia We're defending borders sovereignty deterrence after
- 1:25:23Ukraine Sanctions the secondary measures are about stopping
- 1:25:26aggression not taking their assets In Venezuela, we're
- 1:25:32fighting narco trafficking and defending human rights.
- 1:25:35Yeah by blowing up humans Maduro's a dictator,
- 1:25:39uh-huh Operation southern spear is narrow and
- 1:25:44intelligence driven not about oil.
- 1:25:47Oh, yeah Just like Iraq and yes some
- 1:25:51people in bureaucracy genuinely believe that Systems are
- 1:25:55full of true believers and it's not all
- 1:25:57mustache twirling villains, but the pattern the bezaruk
- 1:26:02of is talking about is Aggression corruption human
- 1:26:06rights abuses are selectively enforced concepts Especially when
- 1:26:12it comes to oil rich resource rich states
- 1:26:15that cross, Washington As opposed to I don't
- 1:26:20know Israel they can do whatever they want.
- 1:26:23Nobody gonna say a word.
- 1:26:25We aren't sanctioning them.
- 1:26:26Are we I?
- 1:26:29Have skepticism on all of this Where this
- 1:26:32leaves the to Trump moves Where does it
- 1:26:37leave them functionally an attempt to prevent Russia
- 1:26:39from turning its resources into independent power?
- 1:26:43verse through bricks SEO or anything else Are
- 1:26:49politically sold as punishing aggression and in Venezuela
- 1:26:53an attempt to either change the regime but
- 1:26:57the political packaging is Same as always so
- 1:27:02from the Global South Perspective what this looks
- 1:27:05like is the Empire knows the paper game
- 1:27:08is wobbling gonna collapse So it's grabbing the
- 1:27:11last big cheap chunk of the physical world
- 1:27:15it can And if you get in the
- 1:27:17way, it'll call you a terrorist or sanction
- 1:27:20you to death, right?
- 1:27:24That's what's gonna happen So How does Trump's
- 1:27:29overreach speed up bez Rukavs vision?
- 1:27:33We've walked through all six of bez Rukavs
- 1:27:36pillars the 1914 moment globalization hangover and enemy
- 1:27:41manufacturing age of blocks bricks SEO America's internal
- 1:27:47crisis American economies and Trump's slide back into
- 1:27:50the neocon late and the asset grabs Hmm,
- 1:27:55what's the final?
- 1:27:58Russia is no longer the east of Europe
- 1:28:02It's the north of greater Eurasia the top
- 1:28:07of the most promising continent on earth either
- 1:28:10it builds a Eurasian macro region with its
- 1:28:13own rules and model or repeats 1917 through
- 1:28:171991 and collapses from within while others divide
- 1:28:21the spoils I Think that's an interesting talk
- 1:28:26the greater Eurasian project in the concrete terms
- 1:28:31are bricks and SEO and the Eurasian Economic
- 1:28:34Union eae you For closer integration into post
- 1:28:38-soviet spaces the new north-south and east
- 1:28:42-west corridors Rail port energy I've talked about
- 1:28:45them before They are there Russia is the
- 1:28:49balancer between China and everybody else India Iran
- 1:28:52Arabic countries Central Asia They provide security guarantees
- 1:28:57energy military backing industrial niches and they help
- 1:29:01global South countries escape dependence on the US
- 1:29:05and EU system that's the theory and I
- 1:29:11think Trump is very much against that and
- 1:29:14Wow if Bezrukov is right, we're not watching
- 1:29:20Trump save America We're watching him help write
- 1:29:23the obituary of the American Empire and to
- 1:29:27preface a Eurasian century The only open question
- 1:29:31is whether Russia and the global South can
- 1:29:33turn that into a stable Alternative or whether
- 1:29:35we'll all just stumble through another 1914 and
- 1:29:39do the whole damn thing all over again
- 1:29:42This has been international flavor where the truth
- 1:29:45just tastes better Very glad you participated this
- 1:29:49evening.
