- 0:18Speaker 2: The Woody Show.
- 0:20Speaker 3: This is The Woody Show.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Insensitivity training.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Class is now in session.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Good morning, everybody. Good morning, Woody.
- 0:48Speaker 3: How psyched are you that it's Monday, Greg?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yo.
- 0:50Speaker 4: The weekend was way too long.
- 0:52Speaker 5: I know.
- 0:53Speaker 3: We were very busy all weekend at the iHeartRadio Music
- 0:56Speaker 3: Festival in Vegas. But you know what? It's like they say,
- 0:59Speaker 3: you know what? You're better off just to stay awake.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Don't even sleep.
- 1:02Speaker 6: Yeah, don't bother.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Just stay awake and power through it.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Well, welcome.
- 1:05Speaker 3: It's the beginning of another week. It is Monday. It
- 1:07Speaker 3: is September the 21st, 2026. My name is Woody. That
- 1:11Speaker 3: is Greg Gorey. We got Menace.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Gina Grant is here.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Seabass is right there. We got Sammy. Morgan, our associate producer.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Hi, Morgan.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Jeff G is here. We got Dumbass Tyler. Vaughn, our
- 1:24Speaker 3: video producer. Bort and Menji on the job today. Phones
- 1:27Speaker 3: are open.
- 1:27Speaker 7: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:30Speaker 3: You can send us a text over to 22987. Today,
- 1:33Speaker 3: September 21st, is World Gratitude Day. So go ahead and
- 1:37Speaker 3: send that over on the text.
- 1:38Speaker 8: We'll take some.
- 1:40Speaker 3: We'll take it. Over to 22987. Oh, today's World Alzheimer's Day.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Okay. Don't forget. Getting, getting, getting.
- 1:50Speaker 9: Getting, Craig.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Getting, getting. Today's Miniature Golf Day.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Oh, rip.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I'm a big fan.
- 1:59Speaker 6: Mission Golf is so much fun.
- 2:00Speaker 3: It's weird. There's stuff that Menace gets disproportionately excited about.
- 2:04Speaker 3: It's a lot. Shout out to mini golf. You don't
- 2:07Speaker 3: like mini golf? No, I love it.
- 2:08Speaker 6: It's actually more boring than you remember.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Well, you're boring then.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Okay, because I don't like mini golf.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Let's not fight yet.
- 2:14Speaker 4: I especially love when you do the loop-to-loop.
- 2:16Speaker 6: Yeah, the clown's mouth, right, Menace?
- 2:18Speaker 3: Yeah, talk about entertainment, Greg.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yeah, it's fun.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Does Menace love miniature golf more, or does Greg like
- 2:23Speaker 3: the idea of hanging out in your garage more? It's
- 2:26Speaker 3: National Garage Condo Day.
- 2:28Speaker 6: Oh, gross.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Wait, what?
- 2:30Speaker 3: People would hang out in their garage. They'd pimp out
- 2:33Speaker 3: their garage. They'd have parties in there. Greg hates it.
- 2:36Speaker 6: That part's a big neon sign.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Perfectly good backyard, but let's all gather in the garage
- 2:40Speaker 4: next to the oil cans and lawnmower and eat food.
- 2:44Speaker 10: You're talking about two different things. A garage condo seems
- 2:46Speaker 10: like a living space.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Well, yeah, that's worse.
- 2:49Speaker 4: That's a converted garage.
- 2:50Speaker 7: Right, exactly.
- 2:50Speaker 3: So it's converted, though.
- 2:52Speaker 11: The lawnmower's no longer in there.
- 2:53Speaker 4: It's now a room.
- 2:54Speaker 3: So that's a living space, but you're talking.
- 2:56Speaker 4: About the party space. I hate it when you set
- 2:57Speaker 4: up a table in the actual garage and you're sitting
- 3:00Speaker 4: next to rakes and... Cans of Raid.
- 3:03Speaker 6: It's depressing.
- 3:05Speaker 3: So it's not the same. Did I misinterpret this? Because
- 3:08Speaker 3: I'm interpreting garage condo as more like kind of man cave,
- 3:11Speaker 3: but garage. My neighbor years ago turned his garage into
- 3:16Speaker 3: what he called the Garage Mahal.
- 3:18Speaker 6: Oh, that's funny.
- 3:19Speaker 3: He had bunk beds in there and stuff. Dude, he
- 3:21Speaker 3: had a beer tap in there. He had it insulated.
- 3:23Speaker 3: He had TV. He had all this stuff in there.
- 3:26Speaker 6: Yeah, this is basically a garage condo is like a
- 3:29Speaker 6: man cave.
- 3:30Speaker 3: It has a workspace. This guy owned every gun on
- 3:33Speaker 3: the planet, Greg.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Okay, that part's cool.
- 3:34Speaker 3: He had every tool on the planet.
- 3:36Speaker 4: But here's why I'm against it in general. Because as
- 3:38Speaker 4: a grown man, you know what else you can do?
- 3:41Speaker 4: Another place you can hang out, watch TV, watch the game,
- 3:43Speaker 4: have beer. The living room.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Yeah, the house you're paying for. You're going to have
- 3:46Speaker 3: to have a little clubhouse. Greg's a gannet. I'm a gannet.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I'm a gannet.
- 3:49Speaker 4: And if you've got any sense, you're a gannet.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Gina Grad.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Says Yom Kippur.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 3: And recycling.
- 3:56Speaker 6: Happy fasting.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Yeah. Let's see.
- 3:59Speaker 3: This is for the ladies. You can tell me if
- 4:00Speaker 3: this is true or not. When women say they don't
- 4:04Speaker 3: care about these things, they're likely lying. Agree or disagree, ladies.
- 4:09Speaker 9: Mostly agree.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Okay. Well, I'll start. Geez, hold on. We'll let Morgan,
- 4:14Speaker 3: and I think we can all guess what Morgan's going
- 4:16Speaker 3: to say on this one. Again, when women say they
- 4:18Speaker 3: don't care about these things, they're likely lying.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Height.
- 4:21Speaker 9: Oh, lying bitches.
- 4:23Speaker 3: That's all you care about.
- 4:25Speaker 12: That's why I get so much height as Tate, because
- 4:27Speaker 12: I'm the only honest one in this room.
- 4:28Speaker 7: Wait, wait, wait.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Have you ever dated a short king? Hell no, and
- 4:31Speaker 6: I would never. I dated two, and I liked them.
- 4:34Speaker 9: Well, you're a better person than me.
- 4:35Speaker 3: In the U.S., roughly 10 to 15% of the population
- 4:37Speaker 3: is 5'11 or taller. So the odds are significantly in
- 4:41Speaker 3: your favor. You can make up for that with how
- 4:45Speaker 3: you present and carry yourself and stuff like that, unless
- 4:47Speaker 3: you're talking to Morgan.
- 4:48Speaker 9: Listen, if I was Sammy's size, height wouldn't matter to me.
- 4:50Speaker 9: I just happen to be a big old bitch.
- 4:52Speaker 10: Because Sammy, you've always said you prefer short guys.
- 4:54Speaker 11: I do.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Is that honest?
- 4:56Speaker 6: Yeah, no, that's 100% honest.
- 4:57Speaker 8: Because she's short, but not shorter than you, Sammy.
- 5:00Speaker 11: No, not shorter than me.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Of course not. See, there we go. So that's the thing.
- 5:03Speaker 6: I even went on a date with a little person.
- 5:05Speaker 6: He was super hot.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I would do that.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Yeah. For comedy.
- 5:10Speaker 3: They're lying when they say that?
- 5:12Speaker 12: No.
- 5:12Speaker 1: No.
- 5:13Speaker 7: No.
- 5:13Speaker 3: All right. Next one, income. When women say they don't
- 5:17Speaker 3: care about income, they're likely lying. Ooh.
- 5:19Speaker 6: I think in general, they're probably lying.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I think Morgan's honest about it.
- 5:22Speaker 12: This is tough because I think the old me would
- 5:24Speaker 12: have said, no, that's the truth. But now it does matter.
- 5:28Speaker 12: So I do think, yeah, they're lying.
- 5:29Speaker 6: A little bit. I've always said the same thing to
- 5:31Speaker 6: guys I dated. I don't need you to pay for
- 5:33Speaker 6: me and take care of me, but I do need
- 5:34Speaker 6: you to take care of yourself. Like, I'm not your mommy.
- 5:37Speaker 3: So they did mention that. And this thing, financially responsible
- 5:40Speaker 3: guy with a moderate income, that's fine.
- 5:42Speaker 8: That's fine.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Doesn't have to be like a dude who's, you know, balling.
- 5:45Speaker 6: I'm not your mommy.
- 5:46Speaker 11: Yeah, you have to be able to take care of yourself.
- 5:48Speaker 7: For sure.
- 5:48Speaker 3: When women say they don't care about hair, they're likely lying. Well,
- 5:53Speaker 3: I think I get a pass on this one.
- 5:54Speaker 11: I don't care about hair.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yeah, same. Steamboat Willie has no hair.
- 5:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 5:57Speaker 9: I get a pass, too.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:59Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 5:59Speaker 3: She has no hair. Always got some.
- 6:01Speaker 8: Yeah, a little bit.
- 6:01Speaker 11: I like bald guys, so yeah, I think that's true.
- 6:04Speaker 8: I think it happens at a certain age. I think
- 6:05Speaker 8: at a certain age, women are just kind of like, ugh.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I'll give up on that.
- 6:08Speaker 13: No, I never did care, but don't, I don't want
- 6:10Speaker 13: your hair to be disgusting either. Like I take someone
- 6:12Speaker 13: who's bald over someone who doesn't wash their hair.
- 6:14Speaker 6: So in that sense, it matters.
- 6:16Speaker 3: When women say they don't care about your body, they're
- 6:20Speaker 3: likely lying.
- 6:21Speaker 6: I got all this in age thing.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Fat, tubby, or like super skinny. Like, you know, there's
- 6:26Speaker 3: like real like beanpole looking dudes.
- 6:29Speaker 12: There's nothing worse than a guy with like really skinny legs.
- 6:32Speaker 8: Chicken legs.
- 6:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:34Speaker 11: So yeah, I do think they're lying. It does matter.
- 6:36Speaker 3: It does matter. Matters, doesn't matter?
- 6:38Speaker 6: A little bit.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Matters a little bit? Yeah, a little bit. A little bit.
- 6:41Speaker 3: All right, what about clothing? No. Even if you're a
- 6:45Speaker 3: jeans and t-shirt guy, making sure your clothes are clean
- 6:48Speaker 3: and don't look like they've been wadded up on the
- 6:49Speaker 3: floor makes you look presentable.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Yes.
- 6:52Speaker 9: That's actually true.
- 6:52Speaker 6: A hundred percent. Yeah, don't embarrass me. Thank you.
- 6:55Speaker 9: Wear Louis Vuitton.
- 6:56Speaker 3: When women say they don't care about sexual performance, they're
- 6:59Speaker 3: likely lying. What? Who would say that?
- 7:01Speaker 6: Who would say they don't care about sexual performance?
- 7:04Speaker 13: Size doesn't necessarily matter, but performance matters.
- 7:07Speaker 10: Yeah, do me a favor.
- 7:08Speaker 6: Don't please me.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Communicate, be present. For God's sake, make foreplay a priority.
- 7:14Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 3: So performance.
- 7:16Speaker 6: No, I think that's crazy. Of course we care about that.
- 7:18Speaker 3: I would think so.
- 7:19Speaker 6: I think everyone would care about that.
- 7:20Speaker 3: See, this is why we're having a discussion. Agree or disagree.
- 7:23Speaker 3: When women say they don't care about communication, they're likely lying.
- 7:27Speaker 6: I've never heard a woman say that before.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I'll tell you this.
- 7:30Speaker 8: When you're on the dating apps, that is the number
- 7:32Speaker 8: one thing that women want. Communication is communication. Which is funny.
- 7:42Speaker 8: My dating life is before all the apps and all
- 7:44Speaker 8: that kind of stuff. But my guess is that there's
- 7:47Speaker 8: a lot of guys who reach out to women and
- 7:49Speaker 8: communicate with them. They don't get any communication back.
- 7:51Speaker 6: Yeah, but I think in general, they're just sick of
- 7:53Speaker 6: being ghosted.
- 7:53Speaker 8: It is communication, and then they throw emotional intelligence on
- 7:56Speaker 8: top of that, too. They want you to talk about
- 7:58Speaker 8: your feelings with them all the time, menace.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Gay.
- 8:01Speaker 8: They claim they want basically a girlfriend. Oh, my God.
- 8:06Speaker 8: We don't talk about our feelings.
- 8:07Speaker 3: We just do stuff. But, yeah, at the same time,
- 8:09Speaker 3: I want you to be a tough guy. Right, exactly.
- 8:11Speaker 7: Gay!
- 8:12Speaker 3: It's like, bitch, what do you want? That's what I'm saying.
- 8:14Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying?
- 8:15Speaker 4: Communicate.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I'll prefer suicide. When women say they don't care about teeth.
- 8:21Speaker 3: They're likely lying.
- 8:23Speaker 11: That would be a lie.
- 8:23Speaker 6: I care about the teeth.
- 8:25Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 4: All right.
- 8:26Speaker 3: What about your friends? If you're hanging out with douchebags,
- 8:29Speaker 3: you would think that would become more of a reflection
- 8:31Speaker 3: of who you are, right? I mean, they always say, like,
- 8:33Speaker 3: if you're hanging out with, like, five losers, you're going
- 8:35Speaker 3: to become the sixth loser.
- 8:36Speaker 4: That's true.
- 8:37Speaker 6: But it does.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I do.
- 8:39Speaker 6: I've always encouraged guys I've been with to go, like,
- 8:41Speaker 6: have friends. Go be with your friends. Don't go everywhere
- 8:44Speaker 6: with me.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Please.
- 8:45Speaker 11: But if your friends are out partying all the time
- 8:47Speaker 11: and you're with them.
- 8:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 9: I don't think it matters.
- 8:50Speaker 12: I will say, there's a guy I dated that you
- 8:52Speaker 12: guys know, his friends were so lame.
- 8:54Speaker 11: And they wanted me to hang out with his friends
- 8:56Speaker 11: the whole time.
- 8:56Speaker 9: I'm like, those aren't my friends.
- 8:57Speaker 6: Yeah, I would opt out of that every time.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I would think this one would not be a lie.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Women would certainly care about this. When women say they
- 9:06Speaker 3: don't care about your hygiene, they're likely lying.
- 9:09Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 9:11Speaker 11: I do like a manly man, though.
- 9:12Speaker 3: No, yeah.
- 9:13Speaker 6: I bet Morgan likes them to smell a little.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah, she does.
- 9:15Speaker 4: I like the sweat.
- 9:16Speaker 7: That's true.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Yeah, the blood. The blood.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Kind of unkempt in general. Yeah, I do.
- 9:21Speaker 6: The weeping sores.
- 9:22Speaker 11: Some staph infection, maybe.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Rub it in me. Cauliflower ears.
- 9:27Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. That cauliflower ear is so hot. Bust it open. Oh,
- 9:33Speaker 3: my God.
- 9:34Speaker 4: All right, let's get to the celebrity birthdays. Bill Murray
- 9:38Speaker 4: is 76 years old today. Writer Stephen King is 79.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Liam Gallagher from Oasis is 54.
- 9:41Speaker 3: You got Jason Derulo, who is 37. Nicole Richie is 44.
- 9:50Speaker 3: King is 79. Liam Gallagher from Oasis is 54. You
- 9:55Speaker 3: got the Jason Derulo, who is 37. Nicole Richie is 45.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Another one of Greg's favorites again today, Billy Porter.
- 10:04Speaker 7: Oh, nice.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Yeah, Billy. So brave.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I have not been overexposed.
- 10:09Speaker 4: No, not at all.
- 10:10Speaker 3: To him lately.
- 10:11Speaker 4: No, not lately.
- 10:11Speaker 6: No, because Domingo Coleman took over.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely not lately.
- 10:14Speaker 3: It's Faith Hill's birthday. Faith Hill is 59 today. You
- 10:19Speaker 3: got Luke Wilson, who's 55. Ricky Lake.
- 10:23Speaker 10: Oh.
- 10:23Speaker 8: Remember her?
- 10:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 3: She's 58. And Alfonso Ribeiro from The Fresh Prince.
- 10:29Speaker 7: Of course.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Carlton.
- 10:31Speaker 3: He's 55. Your porno birthday today is Phoenix Marie. And
- 10:35Speaker 3: today's birthday girl, she has more sacks than Peyton Manning.
- 10:40Speaker 3: 1,570 fine films, including Big Boobs in Sports, Volumes 2
- 10:44Speaker 3: and 14. Take that, Sydney.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 3: She was in 80 Pounds of Ass, Volume 1. Beating
- 10:50Speaker 3: around the bush. Also, pegging on the run.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Oh, great.
- 10:54Speaker 3: She was in anal after the car wash. Because you
- 10:58Speaker 3: just get so horny, right, Greg?
- 10:59Speaker 4: Yeah, totally do.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Yeah, Greg said that I washed a clean... Freshly clean car.
- 11:04Speaker 3: That makes him horny.
- 11:05Speaker 15: Oh.
- 11:07Speaker 3: It sounds like a lot of things make Greg horny, though.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Now that we learn more about Greg.
- 11:09Speaker 4: You know what else does? Yeah, being awake.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Like a stiff breeze.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Breathing. Yeah. Sorry for being honest.
- 11:15Speaker 3: She was in break the sperm bank. teaching him by
- 11:19Speaker 3: scissoring her. Wait, hold on. How would that help a guy?
- 11:26Speaker 9: Don't ask questions.
- 11:26Speaker 6: Don't you worry about it.
- 11:27Speaker 3: I don't need to learn how to scissor. That would
- 11:28Speaker 3: be bad. Teaching him by scissoring her.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right. What are you going to bump donuts with?
- 11:36Speaker 4: You're teaching him a lesson. He wronged her, so check
- 11:38Speaker 4: me out. I'm hooking up with the chick.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Not teaching him how to scissor her.
- 11:42Speaker 4: I'm going to teach him a lesson.
- 11:43Speaker 3: I'll teach you. I'm going to scissor her.
- 11:45Speaker 4: I'm going to scissor Morgan now.
- 11:46Speaker 3: You guys, who can forget her unforgettable role in My
- 11:49Speaker 3: Bitch Turned Me Gay?
- 11:51Speaker 4: Am I right? Spin there.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Yeah, way to go, girl.
- 11:59Speaker 4: Yeah, thanks a lot.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Great gory story.
- 12:01Speaker 7: Good.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Mario, thanks to you.

- 13:28Speaker 3: There's always a mix of good and bad with anything,
- 13:32Speaker 3: especially a production that big. From a working standpoint, if
- 13:36Speaker 3: you're just somebody watching it and everything else, that's the thing. Enjoy.
- 13:40Speaker 3: It's all good. Yeah, it's all good. I mean, that's
- 13:43Speaker 3: what I'm talking about. It's like, man, just so many
- 13:46Speaker 3: moving parts. But it really is. We are first to
- 13:51Speaker 3: criticize when something dumb happens around here. And it is
- 13:54Speaker 3: the best thing, I think, that as a company we do.
- 13:56Speaker 6: Just the scale of it's crazy.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Hands down. Oh, yeah. It's fantastic. So that was cool.
- 14:02Speaker 3: It was cool. They tried some different stuff this year,
- 14:04Speaker 3: and I thought that was really neat. I know it's
- 14:06Speaker 3: going to be broadcast on Hulu and Disney +. If
- 14:11Speaker 3: you're watching it live, that's fine. But I'm saying where
- 14:14Speaker 3: you can go and just get it on demand.
- 14:16Speaker 6: Yeah, whenever.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty cool.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Rip.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty cool. So we'll have some more details on that.
- 14:22Speaker 3: And then it's like a weird family reunion, you know,
- 14:26Speaker 3: like get to spend time with a bunch of people
- 14:28Speaker 3: that I don't normally get to sit and hang and
- 14:31Speaker 3: spend time to spend a bunch of time talking to,
- 14:33Speaker 3: you know, like Ryan Seacrest and Charlotte, me and the
- 14:36Speaker 3: God and a bunch of different, all these different I
- 14:39Speaker 3: heart people that come together. And it was cool.
- 14:41Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 14:41Speaker 6: It's like second cousins.
- 14:43Speaker 4: It really is.
- 14:43Speaker 3: It really is. Uh, jeers NC state who was up
- 14:48Speaker 3: by three. with six seconds left in their game with Vanderbilt.
- 14:53Speaker 3: And even though they're back on their own four-yard line,
- 14:56Speaker 3: they had two choices. There's only six seconds left, man.
- 15:00Speaker 3: You can run the clock out with the final play
- 15:03Speaker 3: or just get tackled in the end zone even, take
- 15:05Speaker 3: the safety, and you still win by a point. The
- 15:10Speaker 3: choice here was to run it out. And here's what
- 15:14Speaker 3: happened there.
- 15:14Speaker 8: C.J.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Bailey has six seconds to burn here. Bailey is tackled
- 15:19Speaker 3: with the ball.
- 15:20Speaker 1: The ball came out.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Vanderbilt recovered the football.
- 15:23Speaker 10: Caden Daniels throws the fumble, and Vanderbilt has won it.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Fumbled in the end zone. Vanderbilt falls on it, and
- 15:34Speaker 3: they win the game.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Wow.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Wow. That's dramatic.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Damn.
- 15:41Speaker 3: They have been at Vanderbilt, so it's kind of cool
- 15:43Speaker 3: in front of the whole crowd.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Final score, 35-31. Pretty exciting.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Cheers to NC State.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Wow. Oh, man. That's memorable, though.
- 15:53Speaker 3: That sucks.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Very cool.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Yeah. Cheers and jeers. What about you, Morgan?
- 15:59Speaker 1: Cheers.
- 15:59Speaker 12: Cheers to nothing bringing people together like organized violence.
- 16:03Speaker 4: Am I right? Oh, man.
- 16:05Speaker 11: I went to UFC over the weekend with Vaughn. Shout
- 16:07Speaker 11: out to Vaughn, too.
- 16:08Speaker 9: He's very easy.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 16:11Speaker 9: Go with the flow.
- 16:11Speaker 4: So chill.
- 16:12Speaker 9: Go with the flow.
- 16:12Speaker 3: That's because he's super high.
- 16:14Speaker 9: Hey, whatever it takes. I'm late to picking him up.
- 16:16Speaker 8: He's like, it's cool.
- 16:18Speaker 12: He's just easy to deal with. But man, violence is
- 16:21Speaker 12: the best. Oh, there's this one guy that broke his thumb.
- 16:25Speaker 12: Shout out Alonzo Mennefield.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Did you see the video or the picture that Morgan posted?
- 16:29Speaker 8: Oh my God, I'll show you.
- 16:30Speaker 4: No, I did not see it.
- 16:31Speaker 12: His bone came out of his thumb in the first round.
- 16:35Speaker 12: And he kept going, won the fight, went 10 more
- 16:37Speaker 12: minutes with that thumb.
- 16:38Speaker 3: That's why I think it's so funny. Like, oh, like
- 16:40Speaker 3: a baseball player leaves with tightness in their leg.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Hang now. Tightness?
- 16:45Speaker 8: Yeah, right.
- 16:45Speaker 6: The ball hit me in the butt.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Gina was like all meat and bone.
- 16:49Speaker 6: That's cool.
- 16:52Speaker 9: It was awesome, Gina. You would have loved it.
- 16:55Speaker 6: And you keep fighting like a damn warrior.
- 16:57Speaker 12: Yeah, because that's what they are. And I truly believe
- 16:59Speaker 12: nothing brings people together like a fight. If you're out
- 17:02Speaker 12: in public, everyone's going to watch the fight.
- 17:05Speaker 9: That's going on.
- 17:05Speaker 12: People are going to join in, right? What else brings
- 17:09Speaker 12: people together like that?
- 17:10Speaker 7: Nothing.
- 17:11Speaker 3: There might be a couple other things.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Not in Morgan's world. Not Morgan's reality.
- 17:16Speaker 9: No, nothing like fighting.
- 17:18Speaker 3: It's the best.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Christmas, Thanksgiving.
- 17:19Speaker 6: Doesn't even compare. Shut up, Jeff.
- 17:23Speaker 9: So that's my cheers, of course.
- 17:24Speaker 6: Cheers.
- 17:25Speaker 9: I don't know if I should give this to Trader
- 17:27Speaker 9: Joe's specifically.
- 17:29Speaker 11: Sorry, Sammy.
- 17:30Speaker 6: Cheers.
- 17:31Speaker 12: Or if it's just stores in general. But I've been
- 17:34Speaker 12: craving beer so much lately. I don't know what's wrong
- 17:36Speaker 12: with me because I don't even drink beer, right? But
- 17:38Speaker 12: I've just been craving some hops or something. So I
- 17:41Speaker 12: was like, but I don't want to drink.
- 17:42Speaker 9: So I went to Trader Joe's and I was like,
- 17:44Speaker 9: I'm going to get a non-alcoholic beer.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Right?
- 17:47Speaker 6: You really wanted a taste of beer.
- 17:49Speaker 7: I know.
- 17:50Speaker 9: Why did I go to the checkout and why did
- 17:52Speaker 9: they card me for it?
- 17:53Speaker 3: Wait, wait, wait.
- 17:54Speaker 6: That's a jeers?
- 17:56Speaker 9: Well, yeah, but it doesn't have alcohol in it.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Right.
- 17:58Speaker 6: Oh, okay, gotcha.
- 17:59Speaker 11: No, you still have to be at least 18, I think.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Why?
- 18:02Speaker 9: That's the dumbest rule I've ever heard.
- 18:04Speaker 11: Because you can't be pretending to drink a beer, I guess.
- 18:08Speaker 11: You can't?
- 18:09Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:10Speaker 6: I gotta look this up.
- 18:11Speaker 11: They should let kids buy non-alcoholic beer. I think you
- 18:14Speaker 11: have to be 18.
- 18:14Speaker 16: And wine.
- 18:15Speaker 5: Because.
- 18:16Speaker 11: I mean, who cares?
- 18:17Speaker 9: You're not buying the real thing.
- 18:18Speaker 4: What's the point?
- 18:19Speaker 10: And the kids will look super cool drinking it.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, Menace.
- 18:22Speaker 9: But the girl that carded me, she's like, I'm sorry
- 18:24Speaker 9: I have to do this, but can I see your ID?
- 18:26Speaker 13: What?
- 18:27Speaker 11: I'm like, what?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Never even thought about that.
- 18:29Speaker 7: Stupid rule.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I don't know why people drink non-alcoholic beer.
- 18:33Speaker 4: I don't understand.
- 18:33Speaker 3: What's the point of it?
- 18:34Speaker 6: Well, like, Morgan just wants that taste.
- 18:36Speaker 9: And I don't need to drink alcohol, you know? So
- 18:38Speaker 9: I just wanted to... A sip of it.
- 18:40Speaker 6: You have to be 21. Really? To buy non-alcoholic beer?
- 18:43Speaker 6: According to Google.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Wow.
- 18:44Speaker 3: I do see it more and more in the stores, though.
- 18:46Speaker 4: The only people I know that drink it are former
- 18:48Speaker 4: raging alcoholics.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Do they require the same of sparkling cider?
- 18:52Speaker 6: Yeah, probably.
- 18:54Speaker 8: That's so lame.
- 18:54Speaker 6: Looks like champagne.
- 18:55Speaker 9: Dude, that's the lamest rule I've ever heard.
- 18:57Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 18:58Speaker 4: It's like smoking oregano. Who wants to do that, dude?
- 19:00Speaker 4: I accidentally bought it once, not realizing that NA meant non-alcoholic.
- 19:05Speaker 15: Right.
- 19:05Speaker 4: And then I went to take it back, and they said,
- 19:07Speaker 4: you can't return alcohol.
- 19:08Speaker 3: I said, Boom.
- 19:09Speaker 4: Not alcohol.
- 19:09Speaker 6: In your face, bitch.
- 19:11Speaker 9: Did they let you return it?
- 19:12Speaker 4: They did let me exchange it.
- 19:13Speaker 11: Okay, good.
- 19:14Speaker 3: That was crazy.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Not an alcoholic beer.
- 19:16Speaker 11: My first time.
- 19:16Speaker 3: It was stupid. Menace, cheers and jeers. Well, cheers to
- 19:19Speaker 3: the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 19:21Speaker 10: And I just want to say this to the people
- 19:23Speaker 10: that actually work the festival, not people that are dressed
- 19:27Speaker 10: up to.
- 19:28Speaker 6: Wandering around.
- 19:29Speaker 10: Wandering around, hanging out, and drinking alcohol. But the actual
- 19:32Speaker 10: workers themselves- were very complimentary to us in saying that
- 19:36Speaker 10: we were easy to work with and awesome. And they're like, oh,
- 19:40Speaker 10: thank you guys for just being so easy to do things.
- 19:44Speaker 3: I did hear a lot of stories about how difficult
- 19:46Speaker 3: other people are. Other people are?
- 19:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:48Speaker 3: I'm like, what? This is so easy. I couldn't believe
- 19:52Speaker 3: the nerve that some people have.
- 19:55Speaker 4: I know, right?
- 19:55Speaker 3: And this whole, it's weird, man. There are some people,
- 19:58Speaker 3: and I'm not naming names, but there are some people
- 20:00Speaker 3: who are just it's like this kind of diva.
- 20:04Speaker 4: It's so shocking.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Complex.
- 20:06Speaker 4: So embarrassing.
- 20:06Speaker 3: It's like, dude, this is radio, man. The most easiest thing.
- 20:10Speaker 3: And it's part of your job anyway.
- 20:11Speaker 10: Right.
- 20:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:12Speaker 3: You know?
- 20:12Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I was on the radios and the text changed
- 20:16Speaker 4: for a lot of the production stuff.
- 20:17Speaker 6: Oh God, you probably saw it.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I saw it and heard it all. And you're
- 20:21Speaker 4: not lying. There were a few people that were just
- 20:24Speaker 4: ginormous pains in the ass.
- 20:25Speaker 6: Like, stand here, say this.
- 20:27Speaker 8: How hard is that?
- 20:28Speaker 10: Yeah, but the people actually working the festival, they made
- 20:32Speaker 10: it a point to shout us out and say really
- 20:34Speaker 10: good things.
- 20:35Speaker 3: So thank you to that.
- 20:36Speaker 10: My jeers is though, the night before I left the festival,
- 20:40Speaker 10: I had to go do a work thing really far
- 20:42Speaker 10: away from where I live and uh meet up with
- 20:44Speaker 10: some listeners and then on my way home my my
- 20:48Speaker 10: drive home was an hour and 45 minutes so i'm
- 20:50Speaker 10: like 45 minutes in uh into the drive and there's
- 20:54Speaker 10: like a blowout uh of a like tire blowout probably
- 20:58Speaker 10: like a football field in front of me and i
- 21:01Speaker 10: i keep on driving and then a piece of rubber
- 21:03Speaker 10: like hit the bottom of uh spicy nachos car which
- 21:07Speaker 10: i was driving my wife's car And no sensors go off,
- 21:10Speaker 10: but it made like a big sound, right? So I said, oh,
- 21:14Speaker 10: I guess I'm good. So I drive an hour back
- 21:16Speaker 10: home and I'm so tired that I forgot to even
- 21:19Speaker 10: look at the car. So I wake up the next day,
- 21:23Speaker 10: do the show, and then we leave for the iHeartRadio Festival. Well,
- 21:26Speaker 10: I get a call the next day from Spicy Nacho,
- 21:29Speaker 10: and this car is jacked, man.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Really?
- 21:32Speaker 3: What happened? What kind of damage?
- 21:33Speaker 4: Dented?
- 21:34Speaker 10: On the other side of the car where I didn't notice,
- 21:38Speaker 10: the whole panel is barely hanging on, and the lights
- 21:41Speaker 10: are barely hanging on. They're almost dragging on the ground.
- 21:46Speaker 3: So yeah, that's what I got to deal with today.
- 21:47Speaker 3: That's just from a piece of a tire? Yeah. Yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 3: but the tread of the tire comes off.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:52Speaker 10: And it like hit the bottom of the car, I guess,
- 21:54Speaker 10: push up the side panel of the car and like,
- 21:57Speaker 10: that's crazy. Basically almost popped it off.
- 21:59Speaker 6: Are you sure it wasn't like furry or have a tail?
- 22:01Speaker 6: Are you sure it was a tire?
- 22:02Speaker 10: No, no, it's like legit a tire, but probably from
- 22:05Speaker 10: like a semi or something. I don't know, but got
- 22:08Speaker 10: to deal with that today. So add it to the list.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Non-alcoholic beer still has 0.05% alcohol. So that's why you
- 22:16Speaker 3: got to be 21 or older. Why don't they call
- 22:17Speaker 3: it low alcohol beer?
- 22:19Speaker 9: Diet beer.
- 22:20Speaker 6: How much would you have to drink to get a
- 22:21Speaker 6: buzz on like O'Doul's?
- 22:23Speaker 3: What's that beer they sell like in Utah? What's that
- 22:25Speaker 3: stuff called? Near Beer? I know like something two thirds
- 22:29Speaker 3: or something. There's something like that. I don't know what
- 22:31Speaker 3: it's called. I've heard there's a name.
- 22:34Speaker 4: I always thought it was Near Beer as well.
- 22:36Speaker 9: But also, like, who cares? Let the kids drink it.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 22:38Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 22:40Speaker 9: You shouldn't be carded for something that's not alcoholic.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Just let the kids drink it.
- 22:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:44Speaker 3: This is why I don't have kids.
- 22:46Speaker 13: They don't even want us to have flavors on our
- 22:48Speaker 13: vape because kids might be enticed.
- 22:49Speaker 3: I know.
- 22:50Speaker 11: Give them drinks that taste just like beer.
- 22:52Speaker 6: They won't like it anyway.
- 22:53Speaker 3: I went to a candy store and I bought some
- 22:54Speaker 3: candy cigarettes and got carded. Yeah, I got to be 18,
- 22:57Speaker 3: you know.
- 22:58Speaker 6: Yeah, puff that sugar.
- 22:59Speaker 4: That's right. Yeah, I can't find that beer you're talking about.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Yeah, somebody hit us up saying, man, I remember doing
- 23:04Speaker 3: that as a kid. The candy cigarettes? Oh, yeah. I
- 23:09Speaker 3: used to pretend to smoke with the candy cigarettes. Especially
- 23:12Speaker 3: ones that had a little bit of powder in them.
- 23:14Speaker 6: Yeah, you blow it.
- 23:15Speaker 3: The first one, it looked like smoke, even though it
- 23:18Speaker 3: was just a little bit of dust.
- 23:20Speaker 6: So is this creepy? Because when we were in fourth grade,
- 23:23Speaker 6: we would sit in my friend's hot tub, and her dad,
- 23:24Speaker 6: who I think was a raging alcoholic, would bring us O'Doul's.
- 23:27Speaker 6: And we were like nine. We'd be like, yeah, we're
- 23:29Speaker 6: drinking beer in the hot tub.
- 23:30Speaker 3: That's very creepy. It's called 3-2 beer. I've never heard
- 23:34Speaker 3: of that.
- 23:34Speaker 10: In the 80s, I was legit drinking Budweiser.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Yeah, there's worse things you could be drinking real beer.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Parents would say, oh, here, take a sip, whatever.
- 23:41Speaker 4: Who cares?
- 23:42Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, it's got a sip.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:43Speaker 9: It did taste exactly like beer, though.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's hoppy. I mean, if anybody's parents here were
- 23:47Speaker 3: going to be handing them full bottles of stuff, it
- 23:49Speaker 3: would be Greg's parents.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Absolutely. Drinking it.
- 23:51Speaker 3: But then who was going to drive them home? Right.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Because then Greg was also tasked by his parents when
- 23:55Speaker 3: they got too drunk to drive them home at like
- 23:58Speaker 3: 13 years old. I had a great night.
- 24:00Speaker 10: I think it helped for me not to have beer
- 24:03Speaker 10: until like way later in life. Because when I was like,
- 24:05Speaker 10: I was like, oh, this is nasty.
- 24:07Speaker 3: I don't want it.
- 24:08Speaker 4: So you were never drawn to it. Yeah, never.
- 24:11Speaker 3: And we'll check in with Gina Grant. She's got the
- 24:15Speaker 3: trending news headlines.
- 24:18Speaker 6: The Chiefs dodged a bullet and beat the Colts 33-30
- 24:22Speaker 6: in overtime on Sunday Night Football. Patrick Mahomes had three touchdowns.
- 24:26Speaker 6: There were also two big quarterback injuries. The Bears QB
- 24:29Speaker 6: Caleb Williams was carted off with a hamstring injury.
- 24:32Speaker 3: The Madden curse, dog.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:33Speaker 3: That's a thing.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Remember I said it right at the beginning?
- 24:36Speaker 3: Yeah, you did.
- 24:37Speaker 6: Well, he's getting an MRI today. And Washington's Jaden Daniels
- 24:40Speaker 6: suffered a dislocated left elbow against Dallas. Listen to Tony
- 24:44Speaker 6: Romo's live reaction to that injury.
- 24:46Speaker 3: That's not Tony Romo.
- 24:47Speaker 7: Oh.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Tom Brady.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Tom Brady.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Tony Romo's in a little bit of trouble. I don't
- 24:52Speaker 3: know if you've heard anything about that.
- 24:54Speaker 4: His owie.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:55Speaker 10: Is he in driving school right now?
- 24:58Speaker 3: Yeah, he's a rehabber, wherever the hell he goes. Yeah,
- 25:02Speaker 3: here's Tom Brady.
- 25:04Speaker 4: Oh, shit.
- 25:05Speaker 16: Oh, no.
- 25:06Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 25:07Speaker 4: Oh, bitch.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Oh, ass.
- 25:08Speaker 10: The world ended because he said a swear word.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Right, right.
- 25:13Speaker 3: And can we stop caring about the S word? Like,
- 25:16Speaker 3: who cares?
- 25:17Speaker 4: I know.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Dude, we're normalizing.
- 25:19Speaker 6: It's rules we put on ourselves.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Nobody cares.
- 25:21Speaker 10: We were almost there before Janet Jackson. Remember, Greg, we
- 25:25Speaker 10: used to work in an area where they were playing
- 25:27Speaker 10: songs on the radio with the S word in it,
- 25:29Speaker 10: and no one cared.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Right. Yeah, it wasn't the end of the world at all.
- 25:32Speaker 10: Yeah, and then that Janet Jackson thing happened in the
- 25:35Speaker 10: early 2000s.
- 25:35Speaker 3: It set us back 50 years. Everybody's butthole squeaked shut.
- 25:39Speaker 4: I didn't know you could dislocate your elbow.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Really?
- 25:43Speaker 4: It seems impossible.
- 25:44Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 25:45Speaker 4: It's a joint. I know, but wouldn't that be like
- 25:48Speaker 4: an internal decapitation of your arm? For lack of a
- 25:52Speaker 4: better term. He fell down and used his hand to plant,
- 25:55Speaker 4: and it just popped.
- 25:57Speaker 3: It's nasty. Any joint can be dislocated.
- 26:00Speaker 6: If you believe in yourself.
- 26:03Speaker 4: If you're good enough.
- 26:04Speaker 7: Right.
- 26:04Speaker 6: Well, Presley Gerber, that's the son of Cindy Crawford. He
- 26:07Speaker 6: has died at just 27 years old. He died at
- 26:10Speaker 6: a rehab facility in Los Angeles, and Cause of Death
- 26:13Speaker 6: hasn't been released. He was big in the modeling world.
- 26:16Speaker 6: I'm sure we're not shocked to hear that. He worked
- 26:18Speaker 6: with big brands like Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino.
- 26:22Speaker 6: He was public, too, about his struggles with addiction and
- 26:24Speaker 6: mental health. He even had a video series called Mental
- 26:27Speaker 6: Health Mondays.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Never heard of him until today.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 7: Oh, really?
- 26:30Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 26:31Speaker 6: And boy, does he look like his mother.
- 26:32Speaker 7: Well, he.
- 26:34Speaker 10: got on my radar because they made a big deal
- 26:36Speaker 10: for a brief second. He actually got a tattoo on
- 26:39Speaker 10: his face.
- 26:40Speaker 4: That was a huge deal. Yeah. Cause he was, what
- 26:42Speaker 4: are you doing?
- 26:43Speaker 3: He was a model. And then he got it.
- 26:44Speaker 10: Like, I forgot what he got written on his face.
- 26:47Speaker 10: I'll tell you nuts under his eye.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Yeah. That was a huge mistake.
- 26:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 3: I know. Like her daughter looks just like her. I've
- 26:56Speaker 3: seen something about her because they always do like, Oh, uh,
- 26:59Speaker 3: daughters who look like they're famous mothers. And it's her
- 27:01Speaker 3: and Reese Witherspoon's daughter who looks like a clone.
- 27:05Speaker 6: And Christie Brinkley's daughter looks exactly like her and the
- 27:07Speaker 6: other one looks exactly like Billy Joel.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Billy Joel, I know.
- 27:10Speaker 9: Two different dads.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Billy Joel's not dead, Sammy. I know you'll be happy
- 27:13Speaker 3: to know. There was a big rumor going around that
- 27:14Speaker 3: Billy Joel had died. And the publicist had to come
- 27:16Speaker 3: out and go, no, I was just emailing with him.
- 27:19Speaker 11: Oh, I didn't even hear that rumor that he died.
- 27:21Speaker 6: Sammy would have been a good soul of all. I
- 27:23Speaker 6: would have been.
- 27:23Speaker 3: What a fan you are.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:25Speaker 6: Well, Chad Gilbert, you know, the lead guitarist and founding
- 27:27Speaker 6: member of Newfound Glory, he has passed away at 45
- 27:29Speaker 6: years old. He died in his sleep with his wife
- 27:33Speaker 6: and mother by his side. Earlier this year, he underwent
- 27:35Speaker 6: brain surgery to remove three tumors. He also had a
- 27:39Speaker 6: rare adrenal gland cancer that spread to his spine and lungs.
- 27:43Speaker 6: In a statement, Newfound Glory said his influence will always
- 27:46Speaker 6: be part of the band and, quote, his spirit will
- 27:48Speaker 6: be felt on stage, on every stage we stand on.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Yeah, he was a super nice guy then.
- 27:53Speaker 6: And we have a cool message he once said on stage.
- 27:55Speaker 2: You know, we're all going to be dealt some crappy
- 27:58Speaker 2: situations in life, right? And so instead of just living
- 28:02Speaker 2: in those situations, it's taking what you've learned and using
- 28:05Speaker 2: it to help someone else and grow. Just be bigger
- 28:08Speaker 2: from it, you know? Like, don't just sit in that situation.
- 28:12Speaker 2: The situation sucks, you know what I mean?
- 28:16Speaker 4: But don't let it go to waste.
- 28:18Speaker 2: If you're suffering and you've been put through this crap
- 28:20Speaker 2: in your life, Use it.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Don't let it go to waste.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Use it for something else to help grow something else.
- 28:29Speaker 16: Boring.
- 28:30Speaker 3: What about Palestine? What about some other political statement, guys?
- 28:34Speaker 6: Yeah, that's why I'm here at the show. Exactly.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Yeah, just play the songs. I didn't hear one thing
- 28:42Speaker 3: in there about Palestine.
- 28:44Speaker 6: Where's all the video, the war video?
- 28:47Speaker 4: God, let's get political up in here.
- 28:49Speaker 8: Screw this light show.
- 28:49Speaker 3: I understand the positive message and everything, but give me
- 28:51Speaker 3: something good.
- 28:52Speaker 7: Yeah, right?
- 28:53Speaker 6: Something to talk about on social media.
- 28:55Speaker 4: Give me something I paid to listen to.
- 28:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 28:58Speaker 6: Well, apparently Carrot Top has been going through it. On Friday,
- 29:02Speaker 6: he tried to take his own life. Someone at his
- 29:04Speaker 6: house called 911 when they found him and rushed him
- 29:07Speaker 6: to the hospital. Now, the good news is he's now
- 29:10Speaker 6: breathing on his own. He's getting better. His rep says
- 29:13Speaker 6: he's under close medical care with the family around him,
- 29:15Speaker 6: and he's joking around with the hospital staff. And if
- 29:17Speaker 6: you're like, huh? Well, this all comes in the middle
- 29:20Speaker 6: of this pretty bizarre legal mess involving an alleged explicit video. Apparently,
- 29:26Speaker 6: his attorney said a dude named Brian Evans was trying
- 29:28Speaker 6: to get a half a million dollars from Carrot Top
- 29:31Speaker 6: to keep the video from becoming public. But Evans completely
- 29:34Speaker 6: denies that and said he never threatened to release anything.
- 29:37Speaker 6: And he says the video has been deleted.
- 29:39Speaker 8: So there you go.
- 29:40Speaker 6: You go so that's what we know what's going on
- 29:42Speaker 6: behind the scenes but you know best of luck Carrot Top.
- 29:45Speaker 10: Yeah by like every comedian I've ever met always say
- 29:49Speaker 10: so many good things about Carrot Top he's a nice
- 29:51Speaker 10: guy yeah he's beloved he's also like Louis CK oh
- 29:53Speaker 10: yeah Yeah.
- 29:56Speaker 3: I love those redheads.
- 29:57Speaker 11: I guess the guy who was extorting him had opened
- 29:59Speaker 11: for him.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 13: And so Carrot Top owed him money and he was
- 30:02Speaker 13: trying to get the money that he was owed from
- 30:04Speaker 13: that and that's why he.
- 30:05Speaker 11: Was extorting him.
- 30:05Speaker 6: But yeah, that's not extortion.
- 30:07Speaker 11: Right.
- 30:08Speaker 13: And even in the letter that he wrote him, it
- 30:10Speaker 13: was like, I'm going to release this if I don't
- 30:12Speaker 13: get my money immediately, but this is not a threat.
- 30:14Speaker 3: You're like, okay.
- 30:14Speaker 6: No, he said it's not a threat, guys.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Okay, so from a business standpoint, you're a comedian, you're
- 30:18Speaker 3: opening for Cara Top, and he hasn't paid you. Like,
- 30:20Speaker 3: that seems to be enough of a legal footing to
- 30:23Speaker 3: go in there and go, like, where you don't have to, like,
- 30:25Speaker 3: do this fake extortion video, whatever it is.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:30Speaker 6: Well, the White House has officially banned CNN, MSNOW, and
- 30:34Speaker 6: Politico from the White House after accusing all three of
- 30:37Speaker 6: spreading lies. Reporters got their badges confiscated when they tried
- 30:41Speaker 6: to enter the grounds. CNN and MSNOW now say they
- 30:44Speaker 6: plan to fight the decision in court. And Resident Evil
- 30:48Speaker 6: is officially alive again. It opened at number one with
- 30:51Speaker 6: $ 60 million. That's the biggest opening in franchise history, by
- 30:54Speaker 6: the way. Sammy's favorite, Practical Magic.
- 30:57Speaker 11: 2, was number two. Yes, love it.
- 30:59Speaker 6: And Spider-Man Brand New Day is now at third.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Loser.
- 31:02Speaker 3: I know, right?
- 31:03Speaker 6: Spider-Man who? And finally, you guys, rejoice. Toys R Us
- 31:09Speaker 6: is getting ready for a big old comeback in the U.S.
- 31:11Speaker 6: with plans to open 120 new standalone stores by the
- 31:16Speaker 6: end of the year.
- 31:17Speaker 3: That's significant.
- 31:18Speaker 9: 120?
- 31:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 3: And not like the ones that are inside Macy's.
- 31:21Speaker 4: No, no, no. Standalone.
- 31:22Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 31:23Speaker 6: They already have those smaller stores in Macy's, but they
- 31:25Speaker 6: want to make the brand big again. The new stores
- 31:28Speaker 6: will carry the classics, you know, Lego, Barbie, Hot Wheels,
- 31:30Speaker 6: and then they'll have Pokemon, K-Pop Demon Hunters. Now, some
- 31:34Speaker 6: locations will even have candy stores, cafes, and these special
- 31:37Speaker 6: spaces where toy companies can hold big events and show
- 31:39Speaker 6: off the new products. So, yeah, big turnaround for a
- 31:42Speaker 6: company that went bankrupt in 2017.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Pretty soon we'll be saying, like, oh, where is it? Oh,
- 31:47Speaker 3: it's in the old Spirit Halloween location.
- 31:51Speaker 10: Oh, it's in the old Toys R Us location.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 31:55Speaker 6: And that's what's going on with it.
- 31:56Speaker 7: All right.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Thank you very much, Gina Grand. The Woody Show. Man,
- 32:01Speaker 3: Gina Grad's on a tear against, she wants old school
- 32:06Speaker 3: hotel keys.
- 32:07Speaker 6: I want like an old timey skeleton key.
- 32:09Speaker 7: Why?
- 32:10Speaker 4: A metal key?
- 32:11Speaker 6: Because they work every time.
- 32:13Speaker 3: See, I feel that way about, just give me the card,
- 32:16Speaker 3: like the room key card. And she doesn't even like that.
- 32:18Speaker 3: She says they get demagnetized all the time. I don't
- 32:20Speaker 3: think that's ever happened to me.
- 32:21Speaker 6: Are you serious? What year is this? They're like, oh,
- 32:23Speaker 6: it was next to your credit card. I'm like, it's 2026.
- 32:26Speaker 6: That still matters?
- 32:27Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 32:28Speaker 6: They're finicky.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Not next to credit cards, but if you have them
- 32:31Speaker 3: next to, like, if you got, like, a magnet. Like, yeah.
- 32:34Speaker 6: I wasn't carrying a fridge magnet.
- 32:36Speaker 3: No, maybe your purse.
- 32:37Speaker 6: I literally just put everything in my pocket.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Would this affect? You know how a lot of people
- 32:42Speaker 3: have the little wallet things on the back of their phones,
- 32:45Speaker 3: and there's the mag charge thing.
- 32:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:47Speaker 3: So there's a magnet on the back of your phone.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Maybe.
- 32:50Speaker 6: Not my phone.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Well, no, I'm saying just in general. I could see
- 32:53Speaker 3: that doing it.
- 32:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:54Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 32:54Speaker 4: I guess.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Because it's a magnet right next to a room key.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:58Speaker 3: And how do you think, do you ever see them
- 32:59Speaker 3: when they program them? They just take the key, they
- 33:00Speaker 3: just place it on top of this thing for half
- 33:02Speaker 3: a second.
- 33:03Speaker 6: One second, yeah.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's it.
- 33:04Speaker 10: And I'll be honest with Gina, that was like an
- 33:07Speaker 10: issue maybe years ago where- it would get demagnetized like
- 33:11Speaker 10: all the time because of the, because of the women's purses.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:15Speaker 3: So I stopped carrying my purse.
- 33:16Speaker 6: Yeah, I get that. And I went full dude. I
- 33:18Speaker 6: was like, I'm just going to put stuff, all this
- 33:19Speaker 6: stuff in my pockets and it didn't work. And I'm
- 33:22Speaker 6: so sick of the, the excuses. It's finicky.
- 33:26Speaker 3: What are they going to do?
- 33:27Speaker 6: Unfinicky it. And then they tried to do the digital key.
- 33:30Speaker 6: I tried to do the digital key.
- 33:31Speaker 3: That's the one I don't ever trust.
- 33:32Speaker 6: That didn't even work.
- 33:33Speaker 3: That was a non-starter. I got the notification, your room
- 33:38Speaker 3: is ready. Here's your digital key. Didn't even try it.
- 33:40Speaker 8: Oh, I tried it.
- 33:41Speaker 3: As soon as I got to the hotel, I went
- 33:42Speaker 3: to the desk, I got the the two room cards,
- 33:45Speaker 3: you know, the key cards. And then, and then I
- 33:47Speaker 3: went about my business because every single time I've tried
- 33:51Speaker 3: to use the digital key on the phone, it doesn't work.
- 33:54Speaker 3: That's the one that doesn't work.
- 33:55Speaker 6: That definitely doesn't work. But I stayed at a hotel
- 33:57Speaker 6: one time in like, I don't know, Yosemite or somewhere
- 34:00Speaker 6: out there. And they gave me like an old timey
- 34:02Speaker 6: long skeleton key for the room. And I was like,
- 34:06Speaker 6: this is the world I want to live in.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Greg, that's how I know I'm at the wrong hotel. Yeah,
- 34:11Speaker 3: that's a place you would never step foot in.
- 34:13Speaker 6: It was awesome. It was so haunted.
- 34:17Speaker 3: More recently, because I looked online. and I saw the
- 34:21Speaker 3: pictures of the hotel. I'm like, oh, this looks new
- 34:24Speaker 3: and looks nice.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Modern.
- 34:26Speaker 3: And I get there. It's an old-ass building that is
- 34:30Speaker 3: kind of made. So the floors are kind of uneven.
- 34:34Speaker 3: You can hear a hollowness when you're walking through the
- 34:37Speaker 3: hall to go down toward your room. I know. Yeah,
- 34:42Speaker 3: and they just made it. It was lipstick on a pig.
- 34:44Speaker 3: And I was so bummed that I was there. I'm like, God,
- 34:47Speaker 3: I hate this old crap. But it sucks when you
- 34:50Speaker 3: check in and then you go all the way to
- 34:52Speaker 3: your room.
- 34:52Speaker 6: That's what I did.
- 34:53Speaker 4: And then you got to go all the way back.
- 34:54Speaker 6: Three miles away in heels.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Yeah. The digital ones I have a problem with. The
- 35:01Speaker 3: actual cards themselves, I haven't had an issue with those.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:04Speaker 6: I couldn't open the damn door.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:06Speaker 3: But I could see, you know, the MagSafe thing on
- 35:09Speaker 3: the back of your phone. Yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 14: That, okay.
- 35:10Speaker 3: If there's a magnet. I mean, it is a magnet.
- 35:12Speaker 3: So that could, and people have those stupid wallets.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Okay.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Which I would not trust. Like, here's the thing. If
- 35:19Speaker 3: I lose my wallet, that's one thing. But why would
- 35:22Speaker 3: I attach the two most important things together? So I've
- 35:24Speaker 3: lost one, I've lost both.
- 35:25Speaker 6: I've said the same thing. So now I have no license,
- 35:28Speaker 6: no phone, no credit card.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like you never had the president and the
- 35:32Speaker 3: vice president traveling at the same time together.
- 35:36Speaker 6: The two people with the Coke recipe never traveled together.
- 35:39Speaker 3: I know myself, it would be lost.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Of course.
- 35:42Speaker 3: And that would be it.
- 35:43Speaker 8: That'd be bad.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, there's a guy from Apple and.
- 35:50Speaker 3: He was, where is it? Oh, yeah, so the new
- 35:52Speaker 3: iPhone 18, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, this guy works in
- 35:56Speaker 3: their hardware department. He said the quickest way to offend
- 36:01Speaker 3: the people who work so hard on this phone is
- 36:03Speaker 3: to put a screen protector on it.
- 36:05Speaker 4: That's offensive.
- 36:06Speaker 6: Sorry, you're offended.
- 36:07Speaker 3: He's Apple's hardware chief.
- 36:08Speaker 7: Okay.
- 36:09Speaker 3: He says it makes his, quote, skin crawl because so
- 36:13Speaker 3: much blood, sweat, and tears. Go into creating their beautiful screens.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Apple says the new display is three times more scratch
- 36:20Speaker 3: resistant than the previous models, but that still doesn't mean
- 36:23Speaker 3: it can't crack. So until Apple starts just replacing everybody's screens.
- 36:29Speaker 6: Sorry, he's sad.
- 36:30Speaker 3: I wish they would offer a version of the screen that.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Where it's the privacy screens, you know those where- Yes,
- 36:39Speaker 3: I love those. The people just can't, if they're sitting
- 36:41Speaker 3: next to you, they just can't like look over your
- 36:42Speaker 3: shoulder and read your phone.
- 36:43Speaker 6: It's all like grayed out.
- 36:45Speaker 3: They're starting to add that to phones, but not the
- 36:47Speaker 3: iPhone yet.
- 36:48Speaker 7: Right.
- 36:48Speaker 3: I'm saying just like where, you know, don't make it
- 36:51Speaker 3: so I have to go get a third party thing.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. I thought you had one though, right?
- 36:56Speaker 3: I used to, and it kept cracking all the time.
- 36:58Speaker 15: Oh, really?
- 36:58Speaker 3: Those things are so fragile.
- 37:00Speaker 7: Oh.
- 37:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 3: And so I'm like, forget it.
- 37:02Speaker 4: I have some friends that have those screens, but they
- 37:04Speaker 4: look orange. They're not black.
- 37:06Speaker 15: Oh.
- 37:06Speaker 4: And those work phenomenally.
- 37:08Speaker 6: I haven't seen orange ones.
- 37:09Speaker 7: Really?
- 37:09Speaker 4: I still want one. Yeah. That'd be cool.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Yeah, the purists get mad when you put a cover
- 37:15Speaker 3: at all on the phone.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Uh-oh, I don't want to upset a purist.
- 37:19Speaker 3: But, you know, it's like, well, why do you make
- 37:21Speaker 3: them so slippery?
- 37:22Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 37:24Speaker 3: There's no tack or anything to it at all. You
- 37:26Speaker 3: might as well just make it out of grease.
- 37:28Speaker 10: My thing with a screen is not a protector, but, like,
- 37:31Speaker 10: I'm out in the sun a lot, and it becomes
- 37:34Speaker 10: so dark sometimes. like odd, I don't know how to
- 37:37Speaker 10: like change the settings or whatever that I can't even
- 37:39Speaker 10: see what's actually on the phone.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Well, you can go, I think you can go into
- 37:43Speaker 3: the display settings. And so it doesn't do the automatic where,
- 37:46Speaker 3: you know, I've done that a hundred times and it's
- 37:49Speaker 3: basically like a black screen. Like I cannot see anything
- 37:52Speaker 3: on it. But then the thing that sucks about that
- 37:53Speaker 3: is that it won't do it automatically. So you go
- 37:55Speaker 3: from outside to inside, inside and outside. And you're every
- 37:58Speaker 3: time going into the brightness of your display and having
- 38:01Speaker 3: to do it yourself. I always want it like the brightest.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Me too.
- 38:05Speaker 3: So just put it on. There's got to be a way.
- 38:08Speaker 3: You just put it on that setting.
- 38:09Speaker 10: I swear I've messed with it. And, like, if I'm
- 38:12Speaker 10: out in the sun, like, super dark.
- 38:15Speaker 4: I think mine does that as well.
- 38:16Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 3: All right, here's the results. We did the Woody Show
- 38:21Speaker 3: Biggest Loser for NFL Week 2.
- 38:23Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 38:24Speaker 3: And we had everybody make their picks. So Sammy and
- 38:26Speaker 3: Menace went head-to-head. And it's simple. Like, you pick the
- 38:30Speaker 3: NFL's Biggest Loser of Week 2, meaning the team loses...
- 38:34Speaker 3: And they've lost by the most points over anybody else.
- 38:37Speaker 3: So like all the other teams who lost, they didn't
- 38:40Speaker 3: lose by as many points as this team lost.
- 38:42Speaker 4: All right.
- 38:43Speaker 10: So I went to bed last night, but I know
- 38:44Speaker 10: that there were some dogs early in the morning.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. So this week, the first two weeks, there
- 38:50Speaker 3: have been so many big upsets. And Jeff, what percentage
- 38:55Speaker 3: do you say of people who are already out of
- 38:56Speaker 3: their fantasy leagues? well they got their survivor.
- 38:59Speaker 4: Pool survivor pool 60 over 60 of people are already
- 39:03Speaker 4: out in week.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Two it's already over because of the chargers and the
- 39:07Speaker 3: bucks yeah dude the bucks how do you lose to
- 39:10Speaker 3: the browns how do the chargers lose twice dude don't
- 39:14Speaker 3: ask the first two games to the chargers were supposed
- 39:17Speaker 3: to be the two easy games because then they're going
- 39:20Speaker 3: to like a pretty They're a pretty steep stretch, aren't they?
- 39:22Speaker 4: Yeah, like seven straight games against the Bills, the Seahawks,
- 39:26Speaker 4: the Chiefs, the Broncos.
- 39:27Speaker 7: Right.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Yeah, we're effed.
- 39:29Speaker 3: The season's over.
- 39:30Speaker 4: And the Chargers will be Chargering, and I can have
- 39:34Speaker 4: my Sundays back, I guess.
- 39:35Speaker 10: But the blowouts were just crazy.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Your Sunday's back. It's been two weeks.
- 39:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 39:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:42Speaker 4: You can only watch so many car wrecks before you
- 39:44Speaker 4: got to keep driving, man.
- 39:45Speaker 3: It's a wash, dog. So Mena said the Colts were
- 39:47Speaker 3: going to lose by 15 against the Chiefs. Okay, I
- 39:51Speaker 3: didn't look. And we heard how that went. It went
- 39:53Speaker 3: to overtime. Oh, it did?
- 39:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:55Speaker 3: So the Colts did lose to the Chiefs, but they
- 39:57Speaker 3: only lost by three. Damn. Sammy said the Broncos were
- 40:02Speaker 3: going to lose by 18 to the Jags.
- 40:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:07Speaker 3: And so Sammy's pick won. Good job, Sammy.
- 40:12Speaker 11: No, the Broncos won, so they didn't even lose.
- 40:14Speaker 3: No, your pick won.
- 40:16Speaker 4: No, it didn't.
- 40:17Speaker 3: No, no, I mean like your biggest loser. You're the
- 40:19Speaker 3: winner of biggest loser.
- 40:20Speaker 4: How?
- 40:21Speaker 1: No.
- 40:21Speaker 7: Right?
- 40:21Speaker 11: I picked the Broncos to lose and they won.
- 40:24Speaker 6: She did the worst job.
- 40:25Speaker 7: Oh, right.
- 40:25Speaker 4: There's no way she can win. Never mind, never mind.
- 40:28Speaker 3: So, man, even though they lost by three, yes, you
- 40:31Speaker 3: are the winner.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:32Speaker 3: But, dude, there was way bigger.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 40:35Speaker 3: With the Seahawks. Well, if you look, it's got killed.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Jeff G's biggest loser pick. was he had the Miami
- 40:42Speaker 3: Dolphins who were playing the 49ers, and they lost by, what,
- 40:45Speaker 3: 20-some points?
- 40:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I think. Yeah.
- 40:49Speaker 3: I had the Ravens crushing the New Orleans Saints. I
- 40:53Speaker 3: thought the Saints would be the biggest loser, and they
- 40:55Speaker 3: actually won the game. Oh, damn.
- 40:58Speaker 4: They're doing well. Pulled a Sammy. Yeah.
- 41:00Speaker 3: So they beat the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens
- 41:04Speaker 3: in week one and two. So I guess don't count
- 41:07Speaker 3: out the Saints. Okay.
- 41:09Speaker 10: But the Seahawks over the Cardinals, that was pretty bad.
- 41:12Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Another big one. And then, you know, Steelers. So Menace,
- 41:16Speaker 3: there you go, dude.
- 41:18Speaker 15: One win.
- 41:18Speaker 4: That's way victorious. All right.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Biggest loser. So we'll find out. We'll put Menace up,
- 41:22Speaker 3: but we'll just keep Menace in there until he loses.
- 41:24Speaker 4: Oh, okay. All right. Sweet. Cool. That makes sense.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Week three and Jeff's already out.
- 41:29Speaker 4: I'm done. The biggest loser every week for me is
- 41:32Speaker 4: going to be my Chargers.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Yeah. You guys are the biggest losers. 877-44-WOODY. Send us
- 41:38Speaker 3: a text over to 22987. More Woody shows next.
- 41:41Speaker 4: I'm going to say. I will read you. Nice.
- 41:45Speaker 5: And.
- 41:46Speaker 3: The Woody Show. We'll be right back.
- 41:49Speaker 4: Hello, how y'all doing?
- 41:51Speaker 3: Hi, Sammy.
- 41:52Speaker 15: Your friend Seabass is telling me that you have gained
- 41:55Speaker 15: a lot of weight. And even your new boyfriend, if
- 42:00Speaker 15: he tries to take your mac and cheese away, you
- 42:03Speaker 15: yell at him.
- 42:05Speaker 11: Only three meals a day?
- 42:07Speaker 6: I don't know how I'll do it.
- 42:09Speaker 3: The Woody Show. All right, cheers and jeers. Let's start
- 42:14Speaker 3: with Seabass. What do you got?
- 42:16Speaker 8: Well, cheers to people who are still having fun out there.
- 42:19Speaker 8: And we talked about this, and I backed it up
- 42:21Speaker 8: by putting my money where someone's butt is.
- 42:24Speaker 7: Huh?
- 42:26Speaker 4: All right.
- 42:27Speaker 3: I got Chester Cheeks' butt face. All right.
- 42:30Speaker 4: And it's a... Oh, yeah. Oh, my God.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Chester Cheeks. It's a silicone ass with eyes, and it's
- 42:35Speaker 3: got a little tuft of hair on the top for
- 42:36Speaker 3: some reason. And this is the thing we talked about
- 42:39Speaker 3: in Australia they were being mad about, because it encourages kids.
- 42:43Speaker 8: to squeeze and pull apart butt cheeks.
- 42:47Speaker 3: That's what it does.
- 42:47Speaker 8: It'll make funny noises. Let's see what it does.
- 42:50Speaker 3: Push the sides. Oh, okay. Pull the cheeks apart.
- 42:56Speaker 10: I forgot that I'll show you a part. That looks
- 42:59Speaker 10: like something from Spencer's.
- 43:01Speaker 9: Squeaky.
- 43:03Speaker 3: That's all you do. You just squeeze the cheeks or
- 43:05Speaker 3: pull them apart. If you tap it on the head. Oh, wow.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Oh, jeez.
- 43:10Speaker 3: It's working. It's like when you spread the cheeks, is
- 43:12Speaker 3: there like a starfish in there? Or is it just a... Nah,
- 43:16Speaker 3: it's just butt.
- 43:16Speaker 4: Nah, just butt. Okay. Just a hole. Oh, nice. It's bleached.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Dropping beats and jiggling cheeks.
- 43:22Speaker 7: All right.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Butt face. Butt face.
- 43:24Speaker 8: Chester Cheeks butt face. Buy it for the Victor Mature
- 43:27Speaker 8: in your life.
- 43:28Speaker 4: How cute. He's got little hands. Makeup.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Oh, he's so cute.
- 43:31Speaker 4: He's wearing headphones.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Adorable. Let me see that for the gram.
- 43:34Speaker 4: All right.
- 43:34Speaker 6: Yeah, where would you put that in your house, Greg?
- 43:36Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, that goes straight in the trash. Greg! I
- 43:40Speaker 4: leave that at work with the singing cactus.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Here's my thing.
- 43:44Speaker 8: I was thinking, well, I could re-give this. We'll keep
- 43:46Speaker 8: it here for fun. I give it to my nephews.
- 43:50Speaker 8: They're kind of getting too old for it.
- 43:52Speaker 4: But we're enjoying it.
- 43:53Speaker 3: We love it. I mean, look, as you become an adult,
- 43:56Speaker 3: most people still find farts funny. I mean, these dudes do.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Universally.
- 44:00Speaker 8: Oh, if you hold down, it goes longer.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Sounds like a fly buzzing around. Jeers.
- 44:06Speaker 8: Cheers to the guy who gave my thick and lustrous
- 44:11Speaker 8: hair a cut this weekend. If you're that close to
- 44:15Speaker 8: a person, you got to know you have bad breath.
- 44:18Speaker 8: And it was like if a cheesesteak had diarrhea. It
- 44:25Speaker 8: was just meaty and cheesy, but breath. And we've talked
- 44:30Speaker 8: about this for a long time. And like with Menace,
- 44:32Speaker 8: because we're that type of show, we brought it up
- 44:35Speaker 8: and he fixed it.
- 44:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:37Speaker 8: How do I do it to strangers? And I thought, like,
- 44:38Speaker 8: do I leave, like, I thought, like, little playing cards.
- 44:41Speaker 8: And you have, like, a little playing card, and you
- 44:42Speaker 8: just kind of leave that when you.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Leave, or you... Or why don't you send them a
- 44:45Speaker 3: secret admirer package?
- 44:47Speaker 8: Yeah, of Altoids.
- 44:48Speaker 4: Right. Yeah. Like a care package.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Like, you just have a door dash of, like, you know, mouthwash, mints.
- 44:54Speaker 4: There are breath.
- 44:55Speaker 8: But I can't think it's like in general. It's like, no,
- 44:57Speaker 8: it's for this guy. It's because your breath reeks. I know,
- 45:00Speaker 8: but then you just send it over.
- 45:01Speaker 6: Did you offer him a mint?
- 45:02Speaker 3: Anonymously. I carry mints in my pocket because I'm not
- 45:05Speaker 3: a lady.
- 45:05Speaker 4: See, that's my move. I ran into somebody this weekend
- 45:08Speaker 4: that was awful. Is it one of our.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Coworkers in the building?
- 45:12Speaker 4: Yes. I think I know who.
- 45:13Speaker 3: You're talking about.
- 45:14Speaker 4: And I pull out my mints and I have one.
- 45:16Speaker 8: Oh, would you like one?
- 45:17Speaker 4: Would you like one? That's like my way.
- 45:19Speaker 8: Which is, again, that's a good, I admire that in
- 45:21Speaker 8: the moment, but this person needs a long-term solution.
- 45:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:25Speaker 8: And they're just not being told because of politeness.
- 45:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:28Speaker 8: Um, so I like some kind of, again, this is
- 45:30Speaker 8: like where the, there was that guy, like the guy, some,
- 45:32Speaker 8: but so-and-so tells you stuff where like you give him
- 45:35Speaker 8: your friend's number.
- 45:35Speaker 3: And breaks bad news. John breaks bad news.
- 45:39Speaker 8: What do you like that? But for like, just give
- 45:41Speaker 8: me a call. I'll show up. I'll say, who's the guy?
- 45:44Speaker 3: Oh, the old man there is cutting hair.
- 45:46Speaker 8: Well, actually I did get an email from this same, uh, establishment, uh,
- 45:49Speaker 8: and asked me to review my service.
- 45:51Speaker 9: There you go.
- 45:52Speaker 3: There's your chance.
- 45:53Speaker 7: Mr.
- 45:53Speaker 4: Suggestion Box.
- 45:54Speaker 3: I sure did. Of course you did. Lovely service, but
- 45:56Speaker 3: his breath stank. Sammy, cheers and jeers.
- 45:59Speaker 13: Yes, so my cheers, I was in, I did a
- 46:02Speaker 13: very quick trip to New York this weekend for my
- 46:04Speaker 13: cousin's wedding, which was a lot of fun. And then
- 46:07Speaker 13: when I was there, as soon as we got there,
- 46:09Speaker 13: going out to just get Pizza, Friday night, whatever, walking
- 46:14Speaker 13: from the hotel. And I was walking around and I'm
- 46:17Speaker 13: looking at the little apartments and stuff.
- 46:19Speaker 11: And I was like, I love these apartments. They remind
- 46:21Speaker 11: me of the ones from You've Got Mail.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Oh, that would be the first thing I thought of.
- 46:25Speaker 7: Yes, it did.
- 46:26Speaker 11: I was like, it reminds me of You've Got Mail.
- 46:27Speaker 3: You know that one movie that was filmed in New York.
- 46:29Speaker 8: I would have said like Libya 1982, but I get it.
- 46:33Speaker 11: And so I was like, these remind me of the
- 46:35Speaker 11: apartments in You've Got Mail.
- 46:36Speaker 13: And then I was like, wait, what? It must be
- 46:39Speaker 13: here somewhere. Like, we must be in the spot.
- 46:42Speaker 3: And we were.
- 46:43Speaker 11: It was two blocks up. It was like a five-minute walk.
- 46:46Speaker 13: And then I got to take a picture in front
- 46:47Speaker 13: of the You've Got Mail apartment that Meg Ryan had.
- 46:50Speaker 11: And I was psyched because I.
- 46:51Speaker 9: Didn't even pick this hotel.
- 46:52Speaker 11: It was like a room-block hotel for my cousin's wedding.
- 46:55Speaker 11: I didn't know really where I was.
- 46:57Speaker 4: Isn't it?
- 46:57Speaker 3: I mean, it's just a brownstone, right? There's a billion
- 47:00Speaker 3: of those.
- 47:01Speaker 7: Yeah, but.
- 47:02Speaker 11: It was just, I didn't know I was going to
- 47:03Speaker 11: be in the vicinity of it.
- 47:04Speaker 3: They all kind of look the same is my point.
- 47:05Speaker 6: Nobody told her.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:06Speaker 3: You can look at any of them and go, that's
- 47:08Speaker 3: the one from You Got Mail. And you'd go, yep,
- 47:10Speaker 3: looks just like it.
- 47:11Speaker 11: Well, that is true. But I'm a house person.
- 47:15Speaker 13: I like to go to houses and tour houses and
- 47:18Speaker 13: do the whole thing.
- 47:19Speaker 11: So to unexpectedly be there was very.
- 47:21Speaker 3: Exciting for me.
- 47:22Speaker 13: What a treat.
- 47:23Speaker 5: I know.
- 47:23Speaker 4: For you.
- 47:24Speaker 5: Good.
- 47:24Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 47:24Speaker 7: I know.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Cheers.
- 47:29Speaker 11: My jeers... Is having no storage on my phone.
- 47:33Speaker 13: I have used up all the storage on my phone
- 47:36Speaker 13: and Steamboat Willie surprised me with a new phone, which
- 47:40Speaker 13: I'm very excited about.
- 47:40Speaker 11: So cheers to that.
- 47:41Speaker 13: So I'm trying to transfer it over and it can't
- 47:43Speaker 13: transfer over because there's too much on it.
- 47:46Speaker 11: Because of the storage, it can't transfer.
- 47:48Speaker 6: That's ironic.
- 47:49Speaker 15: What?
- 47:49Speaker 3: He got you the cheap one with the small one.
- 47:51Speaker 13: No, it's just the one that has the same amount
- 47:53Speaker 13: of storage as my phone. He didn't know how much.
- 47:56Speaker 4: I already had.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Quick quiz. What do you have currently?
- 47:58Speaker 11: I currently have the 11.
- 48:00Speaker 3: No, storage-wise.
- 48:00Speaker 11: Storage-wise, I think 256 or something.
- 48:02Speaker 6: Oh, jeez.
- 48:03Speaker 3: You should have plenty. Yeah, you should have plenty.
- 48:06Speaker 11: No, I've had it for seven years.
- 48:07Speaker 3: I know, but I did see a thing about how
- 48:09Speaker 3: you could save a bunch of space. Like, you can
- 48:12Speaker 3: get some space back. So there's a couple things I
- 48:14Speaker 3: didn't even think about. People always go through their photos
- 48:17Speaker 3: and videos.
- 48:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I do too.
- 48:18Speaker 7: Attachments.
- 48:18Speaker 3: So by default, every photo and video sent to you
- 48:23Speaker 3: stays on your phone indefinitely through your iMessage. Yeah, so
- 48:27Speaker 3: like your text messages. Right, all the text and stuff.
- 48:30Speaker 3: So to recover all that space, you go to settings
- 48:32Speaker 3: and messages, and you've got to set it from forever
- 48:37Speaker 3: to like 30 days.
- 48:38Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what I did.
- 48:39Speaker 3: And then that will save a bunch of that.
- 48:41Speaker 6: Those random media things that people send you just drop off.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Also duplicates of like photos. That's the other thing you
- 48:48Speaker 3: could do. You could say merge duplicates in your photo library.
- 48:52Speaker 3: So if there's two of the same, merge.
- 48:54Speaker 5: Okay.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Yeah, get rid of the dude.
- 48:55Speaker 13: Because I've been trying to go through and delete videos
- 48:57Speaker 13: and pictures, and it just is never enough.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Yeah, your phone records video in 4K HDR by default.
- 49:03Speaker 3: So a two-minute clip, that takes up a full gigabyte. Well,
- 49:06Speaker 3: an iPhone 11 probably doesn't do that. You go to settings, camera,
- 49:10Speaker 3: record video, and then switch it to, say, 1080 or
- 49:15Speaker 3: something like that. That's good.
- 49:16Speaker 8: Isn't your phone regularly telling you, hey, we're cleaning up space,
- 49:18Speaker 8: we're cleaning up space?
- 49:20Speaker 7: Huh?
- 49:20Speaker 3: No, I guess that's just Samsung. Oh. And then the
- 49:24Speaker 3: offline reading list, which I didn't even realize. And I
- 49:26Speaker 3: was like, oh, wow. Okay, I saved a bunch. Safari
- 49:29Speaker 3: automatically downloads every article in your reading list. What? So
- 49:33Speaker 3: even if you've never read them. So you can go
- 49:35Speaker 3: to Settings, Safari. And then you turn off automatically save offline. Oh, crap.
- 49:42Speaker 3: So it just prevents unnecessary downloads and saves you some stuff. Safari?
- 49:46Speaker 6: I did not know that one.
- 49:47Speaker 4: What's that?
- 49:47Speaker 3: What's Safari?
- 49:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:49Speaker 3: So Safari automatically downloads every article in your reading list,
- 49:52Speaker 3: even if you've never read them. There's that. And then
- 49:56Speaker 3: there's a podcast thing where the podcast app is automatically
- 49:59Speaker 3: downloading new episodes of every show that you follow, even
- 50:02Speaker 3: if you don't listen to it. So you got to
- 50:03Speaker 3: make sure... You turn off automatically download.
- 50:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:06Speaker 3: So that way you go seek out whatever.
- 50:08Speaker 11: I need this list to go through everything.
- 50:10Speaker 3: I'll send it to you.
- 50:11Speaker 4: Do you have music on your phone?
- 50:14Speaker 3: No.
- 50:15Speaker 11: No, not downloaded.
- 50:16Speaker 10: Now, I know you probably don't have a lot of
- 50:18Speaker 10: photos in your text because I know better than to
- 50:21Speaker 10: send any memes to Sammy because she does not want
- 50:23Speaker 10: to see them. So you should not have them in.
- 50:26Speaker 10: in her text messages at all. Like, if you send
- 50:30Speaker 10: her a meme, it better be.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Just because you don't doesn't mean that nobody else does.
- 50:33Speaker 3: It better be really good. But if you know her,
- 50:36Speaker 3: she doesn't want them. No, I'm saying, but any kind
- 50:37Speaker 3: of video, like, if her friend sends her, like, oh,
- 50:39Speaker 3: I'm hearing this, whatever, I'm in front of the You
- 50:41Speaker 3: Got Mail apartment.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:43Speaker 4: Check it out. You know?
- 50:44Speaker 6: Run, don't walk.
- 50:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:47Speaker 3: That's taking up a bunch of space. Mm-hmm.
- 50:49Speaker 11: Oh, that's true.
- 50:50Speaker 4: Okay.
- 50:50Speaker 13: So yeah, I'll go through this list and clear it out.
- 50:52Speaker 13: And then hopefully I can transfer everything over to my
- 50:55Speaker 13: new phone. Cause I have a new phone now that
- 50:56Speaker 13: I can't use until I clear out all the storage on.
- 50:59Speaker 6: The old phone.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Hey Sammy, it's your turn to say happy Thanksgiving back.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Do you have, um, do you subscribe to any of
- 51:07Speaker 3: the iCloud stuff? Cause it doesn't have to be necessarily
- 51:09Speaker 3: on your phone. You can keep all that crap and
- 51:12Speaker 3: just have it on the cloud.
- 51:13Speaker 4: You should get it. It's really worth it. Cause you
- 51:15Speaker 4: won't have these same problems anymore. I have iCloud for
- 51:18Speaker 4: everything and, I've never run into that issue and I
- 51:20Speaker 4: have the same amount of storage as her.
- 51:22Speaker 6: I thought the phones came with the cloud.
- 51:24Speaker 3: A certain, like a small, tiny amount. But if you
- 51:26Speaker 3: have a bunch of stuff.
- 51:27Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I pay like three bucks a month or something.
- 51:29Speaker 11: Right, but that's for life.
- 51:30Speaker 13: That's what bothers me. To hold on to all your stuff.
- 51:32Speaker 13: You're paying three bucks or five bucks, whatever, for life
- 51:35Speaker 13: to hold on to your stuff.
- 51:36Speaker 11: I don't like the idea of that.
- 51:37Speaker 6: Get an external drive.
- 51:38Speaker 3: It's just like having a self-storage place. You only have
- 51:41Speaker 3: it and pay for it until you get rid of
- 51:42Speaker 3: the crap you don't want. And you could get rid
- 51:44Speaker 3: of it, but it would just mean taking the time,
- 51:46Speaker 3: sitting down, going through and getting rid of the stuff
- 51:49Speaker 3: that you don't want.
- 51:50Speaker 11: And I think I would rather do that and like
- 51:52Speaker 11: do what Gina said, external drive.
- 51:53Speaker 4: Yeah. But I'll tell you something. I was looking for
- 51:55Speaker 4: a video, Sammy of my kids, like an incredible moment that,
- 51:59Speaker 4: you know, I remembered and I knew I had video
- 52:01Speaker 4: couldn't find anywhere locally that cloud saved my ass. And
- 52:04Speaker 4: it's one of the best videos that, you know, we
- 52:06Speaker 4: ever shot. And it's such a great memory.
- 52:07Speaker 17: And I'm so thankful that I paid that extra whatever,
- 52:10Speaker 17: four bucks or three bucks for the cloud.
- 52:12Speaker 4: It's worth it.
- 52:13Speaker 3: Gina, cheers and jeers.
- 52:14Speaker 6: Well, I kind of have a split cheers from the festival,
- 52:17Speaker 6: which was amazing. Seeing Weezer live for me was a
- 52:21Speaker 6: big deal at the iHeart Music Festival. I will never forget.
- 52:24Speaker 3: You've never seen them before?
- 52:25Speaker 6: Never seen them live. And I saw the sound check.
- 52:27Speaker 6: I saw the show. The very first time when the
- 52:31Speaker 6: Blue album came out, my brother got it for me
- 52:33Speaker 6: for my birthday. And that was a big deal. So
- 52:36Speaker 6: I have been wanting to see them for literal decades.
- 52:38Speaker 6: And that was amazing for me. Also, I didn't know
- 52:42Speaker 6: if this should be a cheers or jeers. Let's put
- 52:44Speaker 6: it in cheers. Watching my kid watch Cardi B, I
- 52:49Speaker 6: think I saw him become a man before my eyes.
- 52:52Speaker 6: His eyes were huge. His mouth was on the floor.
- 52:54Speaker 6: At one point, he turned to me and goes, so
- 52:56Speaker 6: does she make all her money showing her butt? And
- 53:00Speaker 6: I go, kinda. But he's like, she was the best.
- 53:03Speaker 6: She was the best of the night. And then Zara Larson,
- 53:05Speaker 6: no ass, not interested. He was like, eh. But Cardi
- 53:09Speaker 6: really did something.
- 53:09Speaker 4: To that boy.
- 53:10Speaker 3: I mean, her whole ass was out.
- 53:12Speaker 6: Literal, like, chaps to a degree that I can't even explain.
- 53:15Speaker 3: It was huge, and it was gross.
- 53:18Speaker 7: Aw.
- 53:18Speaker 4: It's implants.
- 53:19Speaker 3: It's not just me, man. Read the comments. Find any
- 53:22Speaker 3: video from that, from the festival this weekend. There is
- 53:25Speaker 3: a video on our Instagram.
- 53:26Speaker 6: It was the star of the show.
- 53:27Speaker 3: There you go. Check it out.
- 53:29Speaker 6: And she was great. I mean, she had the crowd
- 53:31Speaker 6: on their feet.
- 53:33Speaker 3: You know I'm a Cardi B fan. Meaning like, I
- 53:36Speaker 3: think she's funny. I wouldn't want to be in a
- 53:37Speaker 3: relationship with her or responsible for her. any way spend
- 53:40Speaker 3: more than 10 minutes but as much as i love
- 53:42Speaker 3: a good character you know what i mean like in
- 53:44Speaker 3: that way i think she's the best i think she's very.
- 53:46Speaker 10: Unapologetic one thing i'll say about cardi b2 she went
- 53:50Speaker 10: above and beyond to like go do a bunch of
- 53:52Speaker 10: things for everybody she even went outside to the front
- 53:55Speaker 10: of the venue out in the out in.
- 53:57Speaker 3: The public and did something with i showed.
- 53:59Speaker 10: Them her butt but i'm saying there's a lot of
- 54:01Speaker 10: artists that would like not do that at all yeah Oh, yeah.
- 54:04Speaker 3: There was at one point. And finally, I was just
- 54:07Speaker 3: kind of behind this guy. So he was the one
- 54:09Speaker 3: doing all the yelling. I was trying to get to
- 54:11Speaker 3: the next place that I was supposed to be for
- 54:13Speaker 3: one of my official responsibilities.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 54:15Speaker 3: So I have the. all access backstage to get wherever
- 54:18Speaker 3: I need to go, right? As does the guy in
- 54:20Speaker 3: front of me. And they had these big doorways closed,
- 54:24Speaker 3: blocking off this hallway. And you couldn't walk through there.
- 54:29Speaker 3: They wanted us to go completely all the way around.
- 54:33Speaker 6: The entire stadium.
- 54:34Speaker 3: And this guy was the guy who was about to
- 54:36Speaker 3: do the mixing for the next artist on stage. He
- 54:38Speaker 3: was doing the sound mixing. He's like, I don't have
- 54:40Speaker 3: time for that. I'm working. And so he just pushed
- 54:43Speaker 3: right past the security guys. And I'm like, guys, so
- 54:47Speaker 3: now they realize they're not going to stop this guy.
- 54:49Speaker 3: And now they're putting their hand out to stop me.
- 54:51Speaker 3: I go, same dude. I said, we're all working here.
- 54:53Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 54:55Speaker 3: BTS was back there, guys. They were about to be
- 54:59Speaker 3: in the hallway. I'm like, I don't give a crap
- 55:02Speaker 3: who's back here. I don't care. I'm not like... I'm
- 55:06Speaker 3: going to work.
- 55:07Speaker 6: You're not going to scream and try and rip their
- 55:08Speaker 6: clothes off?
- 55:09Speaker 3: And we're in an area where the only people who
- 55:11Speaker 3: are back there are people who are working. Nobody cares
- 55:15Speaker 3: if BTS is back there.
- 55:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 55:17Speaker 3: Is it J-Hope, though?
- 55:18Speaker 4: Nobody.
- 55:18Speaker 3: There are plenty of people who would care. Nobody who
- 55:21Speaker 3: is working was going to be, like, stopping or not
- 55:24Speaker 3: doing their work because BTS.
- 55:26Speaker 6: Grizzled middle-aged men aren't trying your fan demo.
- 55:28Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, BTS has, like, military-grade security because of
- 55:35Speaker 10: the fans.
- 55:36Speaker 3: But yeah, the workers shouldn't be stopped.
- 55:38Speaker 6: That is so funny.
- 55:39Speaker 3: Oh, this guy was not having it. It was great
- 55:41Speaker 3: because I didn't have to be the one that made
- 55:42Speaker 3: the scene.
- 55:44Speaker 6: Well, my jeers is something I actually really need help with.
- 55:46Speaker 6: I've had this problem for years. It is overpacking. I
- 55:50Speaker 6: plan like weeks in advance. This is the time. I'm
- 55:53Speaker 6: just bringing a backpack. I'm just bringing a carry-on. I'm
- 55:55Speaker 6: just doing this. I'm just doing that. There's going to
- 55:56Speaker 6: be nothing in my bag. And I find myself like
- 55:59Speaker 6: sitting on this thing just to close it because I
- 56:01Speaker 6: need options. Never touched them. What is wrong with me?
- 56:04Speaker 6: How do I stop doing this?
- 56:05Speaker 3: That is literally every woman ever.
- 56:06Speaker 6: But I don't want to be that. And I've tried.
- 56:09Speaker 6: And then it just keeps ending up in the goddamn suitcase.
- 56:12Speaker 3: So you figure out, I'm going to wear this on
- 56:16Speaker 3: Friday night. I'm going to wear this on Saturday night.
- 56:18Speaker 3: During the day, this is what I'm wearing. And you
- 56:20Speaker 3: leave yourself no option. That's it. Like this is what
- 56:24Speaker 3: you put some thought into it beforehand and go, this
- 56:28Speaker 3: is what I'm going to wear. And then that way,
- 56:29Speaker 3: that's what you're going to wear.
- 56:30Speaker 6: But then like, what if I see people and they're
- 56:32Speaker 6: dressed up more? I'm like, oh God, I better go
- 56:34Speaker 6: make the.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Decision before you go. You've been to this thing before.
- 56:36Speaker 3: You know what it is. It doesn't matter. Have you
- 56:38Speaker 3: seen some of the people?
- 56:39Speaker 6: Oh, I have.
- 56:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:41Speaker 6: And that's just in vacation in general. So you're right.
- 56:43Speaker 6: I think I just need to trust my outfit and
- 56:46Speaker 6: move on with my life.
- 56:47Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 56:48Speaker 6: Cause that sucks. And then getting it in and out
- 56:50Speaker 6: of the carry on.
- 56:51Speaker 11: It was horrible.
- 56:52Speaker 3: I just bought stuff when I got there.
- 56:54Speaker 6: I'm not going to buy everything from the gift shop
- 56:56Speaker 6: that's like.
- 56:57Speaker 7: $ 1, 000.
- 56:57Speaker 3: Menace is the opposite. As much as that's too much,
- 57:02Speaker 3: Menace to a great degree, because every time he ends
- 57:05Speaker 3: up having to go somewhere to buy a pair of underwear.
- 57:07Speaker 3: I do not.
- 57:08Speaker 4: Because you can't pack it to go home.
- 57:10Speaker 3: We are in the 20th century, people. Door dash. You
- 57:12Speaker 3: can door dash clothes now. That's not the point. The
- 57:14Speaker 3: point is you're door dashing a pair of underwear or
- 57:16Speaker 3: a pair of socks because you couldn't put one extra
- 57:18Speaker 3: pair of socks in the bag or anything.
- 57:20Speaker 10: Yeah, like one night I was like, oh, I don't
- 57:22Speaker 10: have a really good dress shirt. So I just walked
- 57:23Speaker 10: across the street, went to Burlington. It took me like
- 57:25Speaker 10: 10 minutes, got a shirt. And then when I went
- 57:28Speaker 10: to go meet up with you at the pool, like
- 57:29Speaker 10: on the way walking there, I just stopped at CVS
- 57:31Speaker 10: and got some shorts.
- 57:32Speaker 3: You know, it's easy. I don't want to do.
- 57:36Speaker 7: That.
- 57:36Speaker 3: You know, I'd like to add a jeers.
- 57:42Speaker 4: Ooh, okay. To the mix.
- 57:45Speaker 6: Okay.
- 57:46Speaker 3: I saw, man, a ton of stuff about BTS and
- 57:51Speaker 3: their performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, their fans could
- 57:54Speaker 3: be the dumbest people I've ever seen. Their characters. Here's
- 57:59Speaker 3: why it's embarrassing. I understand being a fan, right? But
- 58:04Speaker 3: to be so over the top, it is like, I mean,
- 58:07Speaker 3: it's almost, it seems worse. And Menace, you would know
- 58:11Speaker 3: better than I do. It's worse than that delusional fandom
- 58:15Speaker 3: that Taylor Swift fans have.
- 58:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Like it's to a different level altogether. It's pretty hardcore.
- 58:21Speaker 3: We're talking grown men in their 50s, Greg.
- 58:24Speaker 4: Yeah. What, did you see crying?
- 58:26Speaker 9: Oh, are you kidding?
- 58:29Speaker 3: That's not my issue. People camping out. That's not my issue. Anyway,
- 58:32Speaker 3: so BTS was part of the iHeartRadio music festival and
- 58:36Speaker 3: they came out and they did their thing and then
- 58:38Speaker 3: it was done. Just like everybody else on the festival,
- 58:41Speaker 3: these are not full sets.
- 58:44Speaker 7: No.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Like it's Friday night and Saturday night It's one stage.
- 58:49Speaker 3: It's not an all day thing where people get there
- 58:51Speaker 3: at eight o'clock in the morning and it goes till
- 58:52Speaker 3: midnight and there's three different stages and a whatever tent
- 58:56Speaker 3: that people put like a Coachella kind of thing. It's
- 58:58Speaker 3: one stage. And so it's, think of it more like,
- 59:02Speaker 3: you see like award shows or.
- 59:05Speaker 4: You know, thing. Yeah, right.
- 59:06Speaker 3: A showcase. I prefer it that way.
- 59:08Speaker 8: I love it when I go to a comedy club
- 59:09Speaker 8: and it's like six different comedians doing 15 minutes each.
- 59:12Speaker 3: I love that. And it's a rotating stage. And so
- 59:14Speaker 3: there's very little downtime. And the whole thing's start to finish,
- 59:18Speaker 3: three and a half, four hours, tops.
- 59:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 59:20Speaker 8: Total.
- 59:21Speaker 3: Start to finish, right? Man, these BTS fans think there's
- 59:25Speaker 3: some kind of big, drawn out conspiracy and about how
- 59:30Speaker 3: I heart quote used them.
- 59:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:32Speaker 3: I can assure you, because I heard from some muckety
- 59:34Speaker 3: mucks there, they were well compensated and they were well compensated.
- 59:40Speaker 3: For the agreed upon 15 minutes.
- 59:43Speaker 4: Right.
- 59:45Speaker 3: That's what they agreed to.
- 59:46Speaker 6: See, that's the conspiracy.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Yes.
- 59:48Speaker 3: They weren't used. It didn't do this for free. They
- 59:50Speaker 3: didn't cut the mics. It didn't just show up.
- 59:52Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 59:53Speaker 3: None of that is true. Zero of that is true.
- 59:55Speaker 10: You don't think that we wouldn't want them to play
- 59:57Speaker 10: for maybe 48 hours?
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: For being as big.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Worldwide.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: The whole event is whatever it is. So I went
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: back and I pulled up the schedule's. From now this
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: is before we even got there about who was going
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: to be on like Kenny Chesney, 25 minutes. what's that,
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Stella Lefty, who you heard. Three minutes.
- 1:00:22Speaker 11: Just that one thing, Boston.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: My point is, you can argue, oh, this person should
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: have got a little bit more, this person should have
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: got a little bit less. This is what it was
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: agreed upon. Like, hey, this is how we think this
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: is going to fit into this, or this is what
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: we are available for. This is what we're willing to
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: do for however much they decide to, you know, like,
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: however much it costs. And I don't know what it
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: would cost to have BTS come in and do a
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: full set. I can guarantee you it's a lot more
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: than what they agreed upon for the 15 minutes. Oh, yeah.
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: This is also taped for TV, so the time is
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: very strict.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Very correct. Yeah, so Benson Boone got 25 minutes. Smashing
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: Pumpkins got 20 minutes. So Benson Boone got more than
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Smashing Pumpkins.
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: In the Pumpkins, it felt like three minutes. Right. It's
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: not based on anything other than run and flow of
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: show and everything. But man, read the comments. It's hilarious.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: The caping that goes on. You could tell on Jang
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: Juk's face, whatever the F his name is. I don't
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: even know what his name is. There's a Juk something.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: Jin Cook?
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: Is that the name?
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: I don't know. Anyway, you could tell he felt, they're
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: making up all this stuff. What social media account should
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: we tell the BTS army to go to to suck it? Oh,
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: it's not even like the army. And the way they
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: speak like... Army, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's not
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: like the army or the BTS army. Like, no.
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: And the way they treat army is just, oh my God.
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: Are we saying BTS armies are a bunch of losers menace?
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: I wouldn't go that far.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: From what I read online, losers. I want to go
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: to sleep. Losers, losers, losers. There's no conspiracy, dude.
- 1:02:06Speaker 10: No, the only issue that I have is like, dude,
- 1:02:08Speaker 10: if we had the access to give them you know,
- 1:02:11Speaker 10: more time, we would want that.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: It would be a good thing, you know?
- 1:02:16Speaker 10: So it's not like, that's the part where it's like,
- 1:02:19Speaker 10: you know, them, the fans saying that we didn't want
- 1:02:22Speaker 10: to give them that access.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 1:02:24Speaker 10: We would want to have that, you know? So that's,
- 1:02:27Speaker 10: that's the thing that I'm worried about.
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: Menace, this makes perfect sense, but can we get a
- 1:02:30Speaker 8: clean cut for Vaughn of what he's saying? The BTS
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: ARMYs are losers, losers, losers.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: The BTS ARMY. Losers, losers, losers. There you go. And
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: you know what I'm basing that on? I'm basing that
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: on everything that I read online.
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: There was a lot of anger.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: I didn't see one clear-headed comment from a person who
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: was part of Army.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: Army.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: And if there was, didn't see it. But that's what
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: I'm basing my opinion on.
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: Well, I hate that they blame someone else. Like, their
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: immediate response is like, blame someone else. They did them dirty.
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: They were wrong. I hard screwed them. It's like, nah, dude.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: Used.
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: It couldn't possibly be like, we'll do this many songs
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: for this much money.
- 1:03:06Speaker 15: Done.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: Deal.
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: Right. Yeah.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: Yeah, they did okay.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Muse. Muse had 25 minutes.
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: God, that was so good.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's how it works. That's just how it works.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: I like that.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: I like that kind of show.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: I do, too.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: Because you know what I want to spend?
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: I don't want to spend.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: day no yeah that's never what it was that's why
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: it says start time is this and you gotta figure
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: it's gonna be wrapped up by I'm gonna take a
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: break because you know hey I'll take you know midnight
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: yeah read the comment it's so funny so many different
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: genres if you're not into one of them you know
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: it won't last that long yeah exactly got six more
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: minutes yeah and from everything that I heard you know
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: like you know The guys themselves, nice dudes. And everybody
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: was cool.
- 1:03:45Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: Everybody.
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: Nobody felt wrong.
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: Slighted.
- 1:03:48Speaker 13: No.
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: Not at all.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: If there was people like, oh, the mic. Nobody cut
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: their microphones off. I know there are things that happen
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: in the course of like a, you know, a live
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: event or whatever, where there could be a microphone stops
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: working or there's things that happen. There are technical things
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: that happen, but.
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: But also, I think it's just when we go to
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: a concert, we're used to, first of all, an encore.
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: So it's like, they didn't come back. They're mad.
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: Like, that's not how these kind of festivals work.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: That's not how they leave the stage ever. Well, if
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: you watched any of the other bands, any of the
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: 16 years that this iHeartRadio Music Festival has gone. That's
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: how it goes. Yeah, they go, all right, thank you, everybody.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: And they wave as they're walking off stage because the
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: stage is about to spin. Literally, it's on a turntable
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: kind of thing. And the next start, they have the
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: next artist ready to go.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Yeah. And they did. It's down to the minute.
- 1:04:31Speaker 17: They did everything backstage. I mean, I saw them hit
- 1:04:34Speaker 17: all the different spots. So if they were in a
- 1:04:36Speaker 17: bad mood and they didn't want to be there or whatever,
- 1:04:37Speaker 17: they wouldn't have done all that extra stuff.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: And we saw it all. And they were happy to
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: be there.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Yeah. Those guys... By all accounts, I didn't have any
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: personal dealings with them, obviously. They didn't trash the dressing room? No,
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: they had me working with Muse and Smashing Pumpkins and
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Weezer and doing that stuff. So that wasn't my area
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: of responsibility. But the people that I do know who
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: were talking to them and doing all the official stuff.
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: Nice guys.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: Super cool. Yeah, they were fine. We would definitely hear
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: about it. But zero.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: At this point, why don't we just all liquidate our
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: bank account and take the money.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: And put it in the fire? I'm looking for real answers.
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: The Woody Show.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: Chad Gilbert, the guitarist, founding member of Newfound Glory, passed
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: away over the weekend, 45 years old.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: So awful.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: It sucks. His story, you just hear his story and
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: all the stuff that he went through. But just a super,
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: super nice guy. It was always just, I don't know.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: It was just always, like, kind of chill, friendly, you know?
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: How did they discover the original tumors? Like, do you
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: have headaches? Do you have symptoms?
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: See, that's the stuff that always freaks me out.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: And that's what makes people hypochondriacs, by the way. Because
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: you hear these random stories about people who are otherwise,
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: you know.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: Fine.
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: Fine.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: And young.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: And then, oh, well, then the next thing I know,
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: there was this, and then you're being brought in for... Like,
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: he's been going through.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: It for a while, but.
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: It says he had a medical emergency in 2021, and
- 1:06:06Speaker 8: then one thing led to another.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: They found it. Yeah, but what was that? It was
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: like the– I forget. Some gland cancer.
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: Adrenal, yeah.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: And then that spread, right? And then I know earlier
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: this year he had brain surgery because there were some
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: tumors there. Also, just because you've brought it up in– Gina,
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: I'm sorry about your friend Bald Brian.
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: Yeah, thanks.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Talk about another guy who went through it for so long.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: So Bald Brian is a guy that Gina worked with
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: on the Adam Carolla show. Gina was Adam's co-host for
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: eight years. Bald Brian was another guy who worked with
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: Adam for a long, long time. Oh, since Loveline. In
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: some way, shape, or form, yeah, through Loveline and these
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: different things.
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: 25 years.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: Yeah, he was doing like a bunch of sound stuff.
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: Yeah, he was our drop guy.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: And co-host.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: Yeah, and then after.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: The Adam Carolla Show, Gina and Brian did a podcast
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: together and he just died.
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: Yeah, he died over the weekend.
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: How old was he?
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: He had just turned 48 last week.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: 48.
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: And he had been cheating death for 18 years. He
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: was an inoperable glioblastoma. brain cancer, and he was on
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: this test drug, and he was in the group that
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: actually got the drug, and it worked.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: Yeah, so he was originally given, what, three or six months.
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: Six months, yeah.
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: Wow. That was it.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Like, hey, man, you got six months.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: Get your affairs in order. And then he lived another
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: 18 years.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: He did.
- 1:07:32Speaker 15: Damn.
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: He did. And he has a beautiful daughter and, you know,
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: a wonderful wife. And, by the way, he had been
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: working on a documentary called Growth about his brain tumor
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: for years. I mean, I remember when this whole thing started.
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: And very sad, you know, ironic and sad to say
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: that it is premiering this Saturday.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 1:07:52Speaker 9: He couldn't wait to be there.
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: I was going to say, did he finish it?
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: He did.
- 1:07:55Speaker 6: He just finished it. He couldn't wait to be there.
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: It's in the Da Vinci Film Festival. So if you
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: do happen to be in Los Angeles and you want
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: to support them, get tickets and hopefully we can link
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: to that. But he was one of a kind. He
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: was very smug and very funny and very smart. CBS,
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: you would have loved him.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I only met him once, but he was very
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: nice to me.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: Yeah, he was a wonderful person, and this is a
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: big loss.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm sorry to hear about that. Yeah, it sucks.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I saw this thing online just the other day
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: that said, you could have a million problems, but if
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: you have a problem with your health, you have one problem.
- 1:08:28Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: Well said.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: Health is wealth. Indeed. All those other things that you hear.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: When you're a kid and on your birthday, you're Uncle
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: would say, oh, my wish for you is health. And
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: as a kid, you think, boring. What a dumb wish.
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: Is there money in that wish?
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: Shake the card out.
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: If I shake health, will 20 fall out?
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: I keep seeing ads, Greg, to your question about like
- 1:08:52Speaker 8: these multi-screening tests. We'll test for 65 things.
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: That is so popular right now.
- 1:08:57Speaker 13: Right.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: But I mean, if you want to.
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: Like Greg and you're always thinking about how will I know?
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: And they say yes.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: But I also don't want to do it.
- 1:09:06Speaker 10: They say yes. They'll always, always find something.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why they say don't get that full body MRI.
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: You know, people can pay for that. You can go
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: and they'll, something will show up. Now, is it anything
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: to worry about? No, but the doctor's obligation is to
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: investigate to make sure that it is nothing. So you're
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: going to go through all this, what ends up being
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: unnecessary expense time and testing just to find out that it's,
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: it's not a thing.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: I was listening to a podcast with Dr.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: Durbrow, sorry.
- 1:09:41Speaker 10: And he was talking about something that did a scan of,
- 1:09:44Speaker 10: And they kind of saw something, but the doctors were like, ah,
- 1:09:48Speaker 10: we'll kind of wait on it and see how it
- 1:09:50Speaker 10: plays out. But the person was so obsessed with it.
- 1:09:53Speaker 10: They're like, no, I want a biopsy. I want a biopsy.
- 1:09:56Speaker 10: And so they did it and kind of like poked
- 1:09:58Speaker 10: an artery and the person died. And then they found
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: out it was just like a piece of fat.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, Greg.
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: Joan Rivers died going in for plastic surgery.
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: Didn't Kanye's mom too?
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:11Speaker 10: But she kept on ignoring it. because she really wanted surgery.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: They found my melanoma tumor because I kept having a
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: mole that bled and kept losing its skin.
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: Oh, God.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: I mean, that's a pretty obvious sign, isn't it?
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: That's more obvious than.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: I told you, my mom, with her story, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma,
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: and she was sitting on the couch. They were watching TV,
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: and she was sitting on the couch, had her elbow
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: up on the arm of the couch, her hand behind
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: her head, and she kind of felt something like, well,
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: what is that? And it ended up being, you know,
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: they biopsied it, and if she hadn't been sitting there,
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: you're like, Who knows when she, if ever, she thought
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: maybe it was like a, you know, like something kind
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: of like ingrown hair, cyst, something like that.
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: So get it looked into. That's what my mom has
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: always told me. She goes, hey, you know what? People
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: may call you crazy. But if you feel like something
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: might be off or something might be wrong, the worst
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: case scenario is you wasted a little bit of time
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: and a little bit of your money on a copay
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: to get something checked out. You find out you're okay?
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: Because the worst would be you knew something was going on.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: You didn't get it looked into. And then they say, well,
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: you know what? We caught it kind of late. You're like, man,
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: I knew something was going on. For whatever reason, I
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: just blew it off. That was my question with. This
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: is not political, but Biden getting prostate cancer in his 70s.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: Isn't that something they've been tracking for a long time?
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: Don't you get that checked every time you go to
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: the doctor? And is apparently so aggressive.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: Yeah. Damn.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: What's the one I'm thinking of? Is it prostate or.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: No, no.
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: Because prostate is not the one word. Pancreatic.
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: Pancreatic.
- 1:11:38Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: I knew it was another P.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: And it's, that's the quote unquote worst because you can't
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: get there.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: To do anything about it.
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: Until it's too late.
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: You know, well, until later.
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:48Speaker 11: Later stages.
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: And now I think Menace brought this up that there's
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: been major advancements in that. So that's, that could be
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: a real game changer.
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: Yeah. We had something more recently on that, which is cool.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: That whole, dude, the medical science stuff is, is really cool.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: There was another story. About, hold on.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Experimental treatment using a patient's own genetically modified immune cells
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: eliminated all detectable signs of cancer in a three-year-old boy
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: whose liver cancer had spread to other parts of his body.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: So after two doses of the T-cell therapy, scans showed
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: no remaining signs of cancer, and the boy remains cancer-free
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: a year later. The fact that people can figure this
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: stuff out and how it was so cool. Right. Researchers
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: caution the result comes from a single patient early stage trial,
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: but it's encouraging evidence that the therapy may be effective
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: in certain solid tumors. I mean, it's so cool how
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: they can do that and they can figure that stuff.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: But let's have awards shows for actors.
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: They need a good backpack.
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: Stupid influencers, right? I did see it. It was so
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: very satisfying. I saw a video online. I showed you
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: guys where it's this. influencer who has all these followers,
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: super popular online. And they are at one of these
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: fan expos where they have, you know, the tables, you
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: can get a signing or whatever. Just a ghost town.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Empty room.
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: No one is at their table.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: No one's coming back.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: They're just sitting there, and they brought all the pens,
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: because I guess they figured they'd be signing just... Oh, yeah,
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: you're going to need extra pens. Thousands of.
- 1:13:17Speaker 8: They would run through Sharpie after Sharpie. Different colors for
- 1:13:20Speaker 8: different items.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: Yeah, and not one person's there.
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: I mean, there's plenty of people there.
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: Just not at his table.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: Nobody's at their booth. And it says... Just more proof
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: that being popular online does not mean anything in real life.
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:13:34Speaker 10: And I get in situations like this a lot. And
- 1:13:36Speaker 10: I really got to thank our listeners because they're awesome.
- 1:13:38Speaker 10: But I will go to events and like, you know,
- 1:13:41Speaker 10: we advertise to get people to come out to stuff.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: Sure.
- 1:13:44Speaker 10: At the same time, there'll be one of these influencers
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: there and nobody's there for them. And we get crapped
- 1:13:51Speaker 10: on so much for, you know. We're radio people and
- 1:13:55Speaker 10: they're like, oh, no one cares about these radio people.
- 1:13:58Speaker 10: And then we have so many of our listeners show up.
- 1:14:00Speaker 10: No one's showing up for this person who's getting paid
- 1:14:04Speaker 10: a lot of money.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: To be there. But really, who won? Because they got
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: paid more than you did to be there. Yeah, for sure.
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: And meanwhile, you now have to talk to all these
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: people because they're there to see you. And you don't
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: have to sign anything.
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: But we'll play the long game.
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: Not only do they get paid more, they save so
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: much on Sharpies.
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: I can just use that one for the next event.
- 1:14:21Speaker 10: I mean, we do end up winning because then they're like,
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: people are like, oh, okay, you know what? The Woody Show,
- 1:14:27Speaker 10: I'm going to hire them again to come out.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: What's the hook to a girl? 877-44-WOODY. Text us over
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: to 22987. We'll be right back. The Woody Show returns
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: right after these messages.
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: Menace, in the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding, what
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: did Tula's parents give her as a wedding gift?
- 1:14:46Speaker 10: Um, uh, um, uh, no job?
- 1:14:49Speaker 15: Uh, hell.
- 1:14:49Speaker 10: I love America.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: The Woody Show. All right, well, to lighten everything... Lighten
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: the mood. It is time for radio's most immature game.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen, Greg's favorite game we play here on
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: the show. It's time for Guess Who's Gas. It happened
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: by accident. Yeah.
- 1:15:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: We're having a big serious conversation. Not the most pick-me-up
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: kind of conversation, but it was a necessary conversation in
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: its time and its day. And then I was like,
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: alright man, how do you transition.
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: Out of this?
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: Oh, I know, I have something on my phone.
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: So I had a recording of one that I cut.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: at uh at home i think it was i think
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: i think it was the black bean burgers that i
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: had yeah they brewed them up anyway so then um
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: i played it on the air and then we had
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: the listeners guess whose gas it was and it went
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: over so well oh worldwide uh that has been an
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: ongoing thing from time to time we don't do it
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: all the time it's just every once in a while
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: but uh it's time for radio's most immature game I
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: have ongoing homework for everybody who works here on the show.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: If you feel a good one brewing to capture its
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: sound and send it to me, and then I use
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: it for this game, I'll play you this week's sample.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: And then you just have to guess whose gas it is.
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: And your options are Woody, Gina, Greg, Menace, Seabass. And
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: then we have Jeff G in the mix now because Sammy...
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: Yours don't make sound. She claims that hers don't make sound.
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: Have they ever made a sound ever in your life?
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: Please.
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: Yeah, but mostly they don't. That's impossible that it wouldn't.
- 1:16:35Speaker 11: If they do, it's very unexpected, so I can't prepare
- 1:16:37Speaker 11: for it.
- 1:16:38Speaker 10: I'm a lady.
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: I mean, you poop a lot, though, don't you?
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: Oh, yes.
- 1:16:42Speaker 7: A lot.
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: And there's never accidentally a sound?
- 1:16:44Speaker 11: No, as I'm saying, there is a sound sometimes, but
- 1:16:46Speaker 11: it's unexpected.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: Just let us record you in the bathroom.
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: Right. That's where you do the homework.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: I have questions, but none that would not result in
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: going to HR. Because I'm just thinking like, you know.
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: How is this possible?
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: How is this possible? I'm not talking about you at all, Sammy.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: I'm saying just in general. Like, that's why I would
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: think it would be impossible.
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: Maybe some people have.
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: Because everything is... squeak shut in that area which is
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: what makes that sound like the end of a balloon
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: and the air escapes like it just makes that sound
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: now if the end of the balloon was I don't
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: know wide set like a softball like a size it
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: wouldn't then it wouldn't make really even still there'd be
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: a sound of air yeah there'd be something I don't
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: know not talking about you Sammy I'm just talking out
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: loud yes please don't answer anything don't want that stupid
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: meeting All right, so we're ready to go. I think
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: we've got people lined up. All right, cool. Morgan's got
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: them all set.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: Let's go and talk to our first contestant. Let's say
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: hello to Frankie. What's up, Frankie?
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: Frankie.
- 1:17:53Speaker 7: Yeah, how you doing?
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: What do you show?
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: We're doing great. All right, so when you're ready, you're
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: going to say, hit me, and then we're going to
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: guess who's gas. Whenever you're ready.
- 1:18:02Speaker 7: Hit me.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: Oh, that's a two-parter. Now, that one certainly makes sense.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure... I'm pretty sure I need to hear
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: that one again.
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: Sounds muddy.
- 1:18:17Speaker 14: Yeah, it got wet at the end.
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: Not quite finished. All right.
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: So, Frankie, guess who's gas. Woody, Gina, Greg, Menace, Seabass,
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: or Jeff G? Menace. Show me Menace.
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: All right, man.
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: I was not sucking, Woody. You suck it, sir. Thank you, Frankie.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: Let's go to Letty. What's up, Letty?
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Letty.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Good morning. Good morning. Letty, are you ready to play
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: Guess Who's Guess?
- 1:18:56Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: All right, here we go. When you're ready, say hit me.
- 1:18:59Speaker 13: Hit me.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: So Menace is off the table on this one. He
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: was already guessed. So now your options are Woody, Gina, Greg, Seabass,
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: or Jeff G.
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: Jeff G.
- 1:19:15Speaker 8: I'm going to go with Jeff G.
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: Jeff G does have IBS.
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: True. Yep. Is it Jeff G?
- 1:19:21Speaker 10: No.
- 1:19:24Speaker 9: I was talking about Bomber.
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: Bomber.
- 1:19:26Speaker 6: Good guess.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: All right, Letty, thank you for the call. I appreciate
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: you listening to The Woody Show. Let's say hi to Glenn. Glenn. Glenn, hi.
- 1:19:33Speaker 15: Hi.
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: Hey, what's up?
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: Hey, we're going to play Guess Who's Gas. When you're ready, say,
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: hit me.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Hit me.
- 1:19:39Speaker 7: A lot.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: Of bass to that one. All right, so your options now, Woody, Gina, Greg,
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: or Seabass. Guess who's gas.
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: Greg.
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: Show me Greg Gorey. Oh, wow.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Disgusting.
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: What the hell?
- 1:20:02Speaker 6: Good God.
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: Sounds like pudding.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: Greg didn't send any additional notes on this one as
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: to what cooked this one up. This is from back
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: in May.
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: Yuck.
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: He sent this one way back in May. I just
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: named it the double hitter.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: It is.
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: One, two. Yeah, because it started out tight, and then
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: it kind of loosened up a bit.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: Something got knocked over.
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: First one's just an appetizer.
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Oh, my God.
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: Delicious.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: I could knock over a patio umbrella.
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I really could.
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: All right, well, Glenn, congratulations, and you're the winner here on.
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: Guess Who's Gasp.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going to call that one the crime scene.
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: Violent and sloppy. Sounds like shifting gears on a dirt bike.
- 1:20:52Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: That definitely sounds like a bean and cheese burrito fart.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: All right, Glenn, thank you. Hang on one second, man.
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: We'll get all your information, okay?
- 1:21:02Speaker 12: Cool, thanks.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: There we go.
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: Cheers and jeers.
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: Let's start with you, Jeff G.
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: Cheers to my first ever iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: It was awesome.
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: I've been working here eight years, and this is the
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: first one I've been to. It was great seeing all
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: the artists, all the iHeart people from around the country.
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: We had a tremendous crew of talent.
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: It was a lot of fun.
- 1:21:31Speaker 17: You guys made it really easy to do our jobs
- 1:21:33Speaker 17: while we were there, which was really cool.
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: But my favorite moment by far... It's watching how trashed
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: our bosses get. The Mucky Mucks, like, they turn up, man.
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: It's open bar. Yeah, dude.
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: Different areas where all the.
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: It's a heavy pour.
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: Yeah, like, where all the Mucky Mucks and stuff are
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: hanging out.
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah. I knew they were turnt when they yelled
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: at me from across the room, and I'm like, this
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: guy didn't know my name six months ago, man. This
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: is cool.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:59Speaker 10: It's open bar all day, too.
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:22:02Speaker 10: Like, the start of the festival, all the way until probably, like,
- 1:22:04Speaker 10: 1 a.m.
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: That's how life should be.
- 1:22:06Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: That's my cheers. And my jeers. So we flew back
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: home on Southwest and I paid a few extra bucks
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: to sit in the front row. I had like a
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: credit on Southwest. So I used it to get like
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: little leg room.
- 1:22:18Speaker 13: Right.
- 1:22:19Speaker 17: So if, if I'm in the first row, Why am
- 1:22:23Speaker 17: I putting my luggage five rows back? The minute I
- 1:22:26Speaker 17: walk onto the plane, the first four rows of luggage
- 1:22:30Speaker 17: on both effing sides are already all.
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: Whose luggage is that?
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: Thank you for joining. I'm in the first row, dude.
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: This shouldn't be allowed.
- 1:22:37Speaker 7: Greg.
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: Jeff, thank you for joining First Class Complaints with Seabass.
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: Am I boozy now? Were you the first on the
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: plane as well? No, I was in group two.
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: So I think they do like, you know, pre-boarding and
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: then they give like some, they have some other special
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: name for people.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Priority.
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: Fake wheelchair people.
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: No, I paid for priority.
- 1:22:59Speaker 10: And then also the stewardess, they use that for their
- 1:23:02Speaker 10: luggage too.
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: What are they called?
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: The stewardess, I guess, or the flight attendant.
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: Well, yeah, they'll put their stuff in there.
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: If you're on a, I think this part of this
- 1:23:11Speaker 8: is Southwest is just kind of new to this whole
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: first class thing a little bit. Cause when you're on
- 1:23:14Speaker 8: like a real airline with real first class, the, the upfront,
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: the first class stewardess will watch those losers like a hawk.
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: Yes, they will.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: But I think on Southwest, it's still kind of loosey-goosey,
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: anything goes.
- 1:23:23Speaker 8: And therefore, the losers who want to sit in back
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: and just want to, I'll drop my bags off here
- 1:23:26Speaker 8: and I'll walk to my loser seat with the pours.
- 1:23:29Speaker 16: Shit!
- 1:23:30Speaker 8: It's their little way of being a loser pour and
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: trying to stick it to you rich people up front.
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: On Southwest. And we need to have better enforcement. Us
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: rich people, huh?
- 1:23:40Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: I would agree.
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: On Southwest.
- 1:23:41Speaker 17: The whole part that bothers me, too, is that then
- 1:23:43Speaker 17: they're pissed at me that I'm not getting off the
- 1:23:45Speaker 17: plane fast enough because I've got to go back.
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: Five rows to get my luggage. That's hell.
- 1:23:49Speaker 17: I'm like, hey, if you want to hand it to me,
- 1:23:50Speaker 17: I'll move, but I'm not moving until I get my luggage.
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: How does that even work? How do you even go
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: backwards to get your crap when everyone's standing in the aisle?
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: Because you have to wait for everybody.
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: Oh, no way.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: You've got to be like a salmon going upstream. You
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: wait for the break because someone's getting their stuff out
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: of the overhead. Now there's a break in the action,
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: so now let you move back five or six rows
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: before you then the flow starts coming again. You gotta
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: wait for another break.
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: That's why I paid for priority.
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: 20 bucks.
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: 40 bucks.
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: A plane is like the restroom at work where people
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: just go in it and lose their minds. They forget
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: how to act. They forget what to do. They don't
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: know how to count.
- 1:24:22Speaker 8: Well, if you guys remember a year ago, I caught
- 1:24:24Speaker 8: a guy doing it and the stewardess didn't catch her
- 1:24:26Speaker 8: and I wrote him a note and I waited until
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: he was later in the mid-flight.
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: I said, do I have a bomb?
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: I said, I wiped my poo hands on this note
- 1:24:36Speaker 8: and now it's on your bag. don't put your crap
- 1:24:39Speaker 8: up here again, essentially.
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: There was one airline that was messing with the idea.
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: I can't remember which one it was. So even if
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: you have a carry-on, before you get on board, you
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: put a color-coded tag based on where your seat is. Oh,
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: that's smart. So if you're in rows one through... five
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: it's this color so like if they're looking for anything
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: that's not that color or doesn't have a tag doesn't
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: belong wait and then those come out and they go
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: bag where is this i can't remember which they're toying
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: with the idea that's a good idea this is a
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: thing and so you know they always every once in
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: a while we'll have a debate about all right well
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: we're thinking about boarding back to front we're going to
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: do all windows then all middles then all aisles Which
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: that would never go because people insist on getting on
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: the plane at the same time with whoever they're traveling with.
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: I can't leave my wife alone. For five whole seconds.
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: If we're going to board all the windows, then all
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: the middle and all the aisles, then that would mean
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: that people are split up just.
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: Getting on the plane.
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: You're going to reconvene in moments. Carrots.
- 1:25:36Speaker 8: There was a stewardess a few flights ago who did
- 1:25:37Speaker 8: that because they got filled up up front where all
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: those cool people were. And she's like, who's the bag
- 1:25:42Speaker 8: is this?
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: And we pointed. Who's the bag?
- 1:25:47Speaker 8: And she took that bag out and walked it to
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: the back to shame that loser. Now, he should be
- 1:25:51Speaker 8: given like a six month ban or whatever, but they.
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: Won't do that.
- 1:25:54Speaker 4: I have a friend who's a flight attendant.
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: Six-month ban. I support that.
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: And passengers will show the boarding pass and ask, where
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: is this seat?
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: What?
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: Do you not know how to count?
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: Do you see the number?
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: I don't get it. People go onto a plane and
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: they lose their minds.
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: Yeah, true.
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: Makes absolutely no sense.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: All right. And then Greg Gorey, cheers and jeers.
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: So cheers to something that I've known has existed for
- 1:26:17Speaker 4: a long time, but I've never listened to a full
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: episode of the Smart List podcast.
- 1:26:21Speaker 10: Oh, it's great.
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: With Will Arnett, Sean Hayes, and Jason Bateman. I walked
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: into a dermatologist appointment wearing a Depeche Mode shirt and
- 1:26:30Speaker 4: the dermatologist said, oh my God, I love Depeche Mode.
- 1:26:33Speaker 4: Did you listen to them when they were on SmartList?
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: I said, what?
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: They did?
- 1:26:38Speaker 4: I've never listened. So I went back and listened to it.
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: Apparently this was three years ago. And to hear stars
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: like legit Will Arnett and Sean Hayes were freaking out.
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: that Dave and Martin from Depeche Mode were on their show.
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: They knew everything about the band. Will Arnett is so
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: musically literate. He knew so much about that era of music.
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: It was such a good listen. So fascinating. And I
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: would venture to say the best interview of Depeche Mode
- 1:27:07Speaker 4: that I've ever heard.
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: I mean, they're real fans. And you're a real fan.
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: Yes. And to hear... Sean Hayes talking, like he was shaking.
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: He was so geeked out.
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: He was so enjoyable. Are they talking about the music though?
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: Or are they talking about other stuff? Like their life.
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: It was very music heavy, but also just everyday stuff,
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: behind the scenes stuff. It was really a good listen.
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: I loved it.
- 1:27:31Speaker 10: You enjoyed the Smart List HBO show when they followed
- 1:27:34Speaker 10: them around.
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it was called Smart List on the Road. That
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: was a lot of fun. But I never sat down
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: and just listened to an entire episode.
- 1:27:41Speaker 10: And you and I enjoyed them ripping on Jason Bateman.
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: And his diet.
- 1:27:46Speaker 10: And his diet and how pain in the ass he was.
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: He's got so many dietary restrictions.
- 1:27:51Speaker 8: Yeah, he's tortured so great you're saying surprise Depeche Mode
- 1:27:54Speaker 8: interviews are really interesting absolutely turn around behind.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: You I wish I wish I like I like the
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: interviews where they talk to people who are I mean
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: how many more questions about their own music can you
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: ask a band like Depeche Mode right right like let's
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: get into some other stuff let's talk about these other
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: things I find those the people who have the ability
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: to do interviews like that and get answers out of
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: you know whoever the the person being interviewed, celebrity, whatever
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: they're famous for. Like getting that kind of like deeper
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: insight or like, okay, they've been asked the same question
- 1:28:28Speaker 3: a thousand times.
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: They have.
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: Like what else?
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: This was more of like their origin story. It was
- 1:28:33Speaker 4: revealed that Martin Gore once went to a taping of
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: Will & Grace and they went backstage and told Sean Hayes,
- 1:28:39Speaker 4: who played Jameson, hey, Martin Gore's in the audience, and
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: he kind of threw him.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: See, that's what I'm talking about. That's the more interesting stuff.
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: Yeah, there was a lot of stuff from their olden
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: days and how they formed. It was so good. I
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: loved it. And sadly, Jason Bateman said almost nothing during
- 1:28:57Speaker 4: this interview because it was all about Will Arnett And
- 1:28:59Speaker 4: Sean Hayes being such geeked out fans to have them
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: on the show. So that's very good. Cheers to that.
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: Cheers.
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: And I sent Woody and Gina a photo to the
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: girl who ruined a fine dining experience simply by having
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: the world's biggest nose ring. And I couldn't not stare
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: at it.
- 1:29:19Speaker 3: Simply by existing.
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: It was so big. Just by existing, it ruined my meal.
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: It was so annoying. And a preemptive comment to people
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: who say... Well, what about a little tiny diamond stud?
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: That's like saying, hey, do you want to get stabbed
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: by a knife? But what if you just get stabbed
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: by a little knife? No, I don't want either. It
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: looks terrible.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: You look terrible.
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: It was so distracting.
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: It was like a bull ring.
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: So big.
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: You weren't having the meal with this bird. They were
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: at a different table?
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: Nope, but she ruined my day. Simply by, I mean... Disgusting.
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: Was this a ring, septum piercing? Show the picture to
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: a bull ring. Okay, that is worse. Gigantic. That is
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: pretty aggressive.
- 1:29:57Speaker 8: I'll tell you what's worse than that, Greg, and I'm
- 1:29:59Speaker 8: sure you've seen it, is when they connect the nose
- 1:30:01Speaker 8: ring and the septum piercing with a chain to their.
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: Ear or something. Oh, this is a fad.
- 1:30:06Speaker 8: You will look back on this in 15 years, like
- 1:30:08Speaker 8: Bell Bottoms or The Pet Rock, and you will shudder
- 1:30:11Speaker 8: at how stupid you were.
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: And then these are the people that look in the
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: mirror before they go out for the day and go, yep,
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: Looks good.
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: That's the look.
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: Are you clinically insane?
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: And by the way, you weren't doing this 10 years ago.
- 1:30:22Speaker 5: Why?
- 1:30:22Speaker 8: Because it wasn't a fad. You're a stupid sheep who's
- 1:30:25Speaker 8: following the herd.
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: I know. I shouldn't look.
- 1:30:27Speaker 10: One of your really good friends.
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: Oh, I know.
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: Wait, does she still have it?
- 1:30:31Speaker 15: Uh-huh.
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: Oh, she does?
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: And she's had it for what?
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: She's had, well, she has two. She had the bull ring,
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: which she took out, but she still has the, Little
- 1:30:38Speaker 4: stud thing.
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: And you never bring it up?
- 1:30:41Speaker 4: I've told her that it needs to go.
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: I mean, having an opinion one way or the other
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: is one thing.
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: But the fact that it ruined your meal.
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: I'm being hyperbolic slightly.
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: It ruined your night out.
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: It definitely distracted you.
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: The way she was sitting was angled right where my
- 1:30:56Speaker 4: face was facing.
- 1:30:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: And I'm like, damn it. You had to sit there
- 1:30:59Speaker 4: and now I have to look at this disgusting wobbling thing. Which.
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: Like flinging in and out like. It was so big
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: that it wouldn't even sit still. Ew.
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: Flapping around.
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: And people are like, oh, don't look at it. Well,
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: if it's in my face, I'm kind of forced to.
- 1:31:13Speaker 4: I was forced to. You were. Yeah, it was bad.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: The name of the podcast, I'm going to text. The
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: name of the podcast was The Smartless Podcast.
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: Yeah, very good listen. For all I know, all of
- 1:31:25Speaker 4: them are great. They are. But this one in particular.
- 1:31:28Speaker 6: Because they have that same banter, yeah.
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: It was really good.
- 1:31:29Speaker 18: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: Text us, like all these other people are doing over here,
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: to 22987619, saying, Billy Corgan seemed like a douche to
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: Woody this past weekend when I was watching. No, he
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: wasn't at all.
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: No, he was so nice.
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: He was super cool to you, man.
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: What? Where did they catch that?
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: Eight feet tall.
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: Well, if you're watching, you know, like on Hulu or,
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: I don't know, I didn't see how the coverage ended
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: up looking.
- 1:31:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: Because he was super cool. Yeah. No, he was mega cool.
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: And you know what? I'll be honest. Years ago, I
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: was working in Chicago, so Billy Corgan's hometown, right? And
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: so he's just always around. And they're like, oh, Billy
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: wants to come in and talk about whatever it is.
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: I go, ah.
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: Because I'd never spent any time. And I just heard
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: different things. And I'm like, oh, man. Or some of
- 1:32:20Speaker 3: the times you see he might have a take on something, whatever,
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: and it drives people nuts. And they go, oh, well,
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: so-and-so is a jerk. I go, ah, I don't know.
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: I wasn't really excited about him coming in. He came in,
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: he spent like three hours. He was so much fun. Yeah.
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: And he was very cool. And it was, it was,
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: it's one of the more memorable for me of all
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: the different people that, you know, we've talked to or
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: I've had on shows that I've been a part of.
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: He was great. And I thought he was great at the,
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: at the iHeart Festival. He was super cool. And they, man,
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: they have these bands, they have these artists doing so
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: many things.
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: So they're going from one thing to the next thing
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: to the next thing. Everything is like very quick and
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: abbreviated because they, They had a thousand different things.
- 1:33:00Speaker 6: Super quick.
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: And it would be very easy for someone to like,
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: you know, lose their patience or, you know, have an
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: attitude or whatever. And he was cool.
- 1:33:08Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:33:08Speaker 10: And we're playing games backstage with Weezer and like the
- 1:33:11Speaker 10: band members were being really, really cool.
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: They were so funny.
- 1:33:14Speaker 10: Because I didn't know like, okay, how's this going to
- 1:33:16Speaker 10: play out? We're like telling the band play games with,
- 1:33:19Speaker 10: you know.
- 1:33:19Speaker 6: They loved it. They were super cool.
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: And they were really, really awesome. You know who else
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: was very nice was Megan Lawless.
- 1:33:25Speaker 4: She was awesome, dude. From Obsession.
- 1:33:27Speaker 3: Yeah. Really, really cool.
- 1:33:28Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:33:29Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: Yeah, she was very sweet. She was very nice.
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: Yeah, she hung out all night, man. I seen her
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: in the casino later on that night, too. Trying to
- 1:33:35Speaker 4: remember who.
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: I did an intro for one of the bands.
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: Oh, Weezer.
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: Was it Weezer?
- 1:33:38Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, with her.
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: Yeah, she was awesome. She was very nice. It's huge.
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: Are you kidding?
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: I don't know what I did to deserve this algorithm.
- 1:33:46Speaker 3: The Woody Show. So a couple things. So, Piers Morgan
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: had that AI actress, Tilly Norwood, on his show. Now,
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: what I do, they always put the actress in parentheses.
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: It's AI, right? And during the interview, another guest, another actor,
- 1:34:10Speaker 3: Tom Conti, asked him a... I'm sorry, asked.
- 1:34:16Speaker 4: What did it say?
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: I guess you would call it... Asked her a question?
- 1:34:19Speaker 11: Sure.
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: Asked it. Would that be right?
- 1:34:22Speaker 4: That's what we call.
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: He asked the AI actress a question and here's what
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: happened there.
- 1:34:30Speaker 15: Are the other actors real actors or are they computer-generated images?
- 1:34:35Speaker 11: They're all digital twins, just like me.
- 1:34:38Speaker 18: Tilly, if I could just ask you a question, you
- 1:34:45Speaker 18: suddenly seem to be speaking Chinese completely randomly for no reason.
- 1:34:48Speaker 4: Why did you do that?
- 1:34:49Speaker 9: Oh, my apologies.
- 1:34:51Speaker 11: It seems I had a little hiccup there.
- 1:34:52Speaker 9: I certainly didn't mean to start speaking Chinese or impersonate peers.
- 1:34:56Speaker 11: Sometimes my wires get a bit crossed, you know?
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: How many R's in strawberry?
- 1:35:00Speaker 8: How many people are secretly programming AI is what Menace
- 1:35:04Speaker 8: is thinking.
- 1:35:04Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: We know what's going on there. There was another time
- 1:35:08Speaker 3: she gave the exact same answer to a different follow-up question,
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: but that was at least in English.
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: That's bizarre.
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:35:15Speaker 4: A little hiccup.
- 1:35:15Speaker 3: It's getting pretty good, though, man.
- 1:35:17Speaker 10: I was watching this little mini TV show on Instagram.
- 1:35:22Speaker 10: And it looks like a $ 300 million budget movie.
- 1:35:26Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 1:35:28Speaker 10: And the dialogue is perfect and everything.
- 1:35:29Speaker 18: Right.
- 1:35:30Speaker 8: And the CG is where this is going to be
- 1:35:31Speaker 8: the biggest thing. We're going to still want to see
- 1:35:33Speaker 8: real people, but things that took tens of millions of
- 1:35:35Speaker 8: dollars to make, Lord of the Rings style stuff. Jurassic Park.
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: It'll be a snap. I was watching a bunch of
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: different stuff about the news, like the production of news itself.
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: There are more than a few stations doing this where
- 1:35:50Speaker 3: they have the anchor- like the actual news anchor for
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: the 6 o'clock news, sitting there, and it's a one-man band. Dude,
- 1:35:58Speaker 3: I saw this.
- 1:35:58Speaker 6: It gave me such anxiety.
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: So they are delivering the story on camera, but then
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: in front of them, it's much like I'm sitting here
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: right now. It's all the controls for all the different sources.
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: Like right now where I'm sitting, I can see a
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: couple different places where we keep audio. I can see
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: where all the phone calls are coming up. I can
- 1:36:15Speaker 3: see whatever is happening on the air, all the library
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: of things that we could put on the air. some
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: more sound library stuff, and then, of course, texting. And
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: then I'm running all the individual microphone levels and sound
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: levels and different things as the show is going on.
- 1:36:30Speaker 3: So I'm doing this, and I'm watching these people freak
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: out about it. This is unacceptable! Because they're doing the news,
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: but then they're also cutting to the clips. Like, we
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: have so-and-so on the scene, and then they push the button,
- 1:36:43Speaker 3: and it fires that reporter's clip from the scene. All right,
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: back to you in the studio. And then she picks
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: up with the next story.
- 1:36:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:36:54Speaker 3: It's called what Radio DJ's been forever.
- 1:36:56Speaker 6: Well, that's the thing.
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: The TV's always had a billion people to do every
- 1:37:00Speaker 3: little thing for them.
- 1:37:01Speaker 6: They don't even have hair and makeup anymore, you guys.
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: They have to.
- 1:37:04Speaker 6: Do it themselves.
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: I'm watching this going, dude, I've done that every day
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: for 30 years. I think the only difference is that them...
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: staying focused on looking forward.
- 1:37:12Speaker 6: It's that too. Like I did that when I anchored
- 1:37:14Speaker 6: news radio and it's stressful, but you get used to it.
- 1:37:17Speaker 6: But nobody told me I had to look hot, like
- 1:37:19Speaker 6: doing like that extra layer of like, I'm a new,
- 1:37:22Speaker 6: you know, I'm on TV and running all that stuff.
- 1:37:25Speaker 6: I don't like it.
- 1:37:26Speaker 3: But then, okay. So that's one thing. And then the
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: other part of it was there is a station. I
- 1:37:31Speaker 3: believe it's in North Carolina. They got rid of everybody.
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: So all the anchors altogether, and it's just an AI generated. Oh,
- 1:37:39Speaker 3: Like 6 o'clock news.
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: Oh, cool. Looks like a person, though.
- 1:37:43Speaker 3: No, it doesn't even look like a person. They just
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: have basically B-roll or stuff they went out and got
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: the video for, for the local house fire. And then
- 1:37:53Speaker 3: it's an AI voiceover giving the details of what happened.
- 1:37:57Speaker 8: The logical extension of this is eventually they're not going
- 1:38:00Speaker 8: to employ anyone. They'll just scrape Nextdoor app, the Citizen app.
- 1:38:06Speaker 8: And just use those reports as, quote, the facts of
- 1:38:08Speaker 8: what's happening.
- 1:38:09Speaker 3: But at that point, is anybody even watching that? I mean,
- 1:38:11Speaker 3: I know the numbers for, like, the local news broadcasts have, like,
- 1:38:17Speaker 3: they've taken a pretty steep hit.
- 1:38:19Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, they have to do this because they
- 1:38:21Speaker 10: can't afford it. Because they don't have advertising.
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: Dollars coming in.
- 1:38:24Speaker 10: Right, they're not doing this because they want to. Yeah,
- 1:38:26Speaker 10: they'd rather have 10 million people in there because then...
- 1:38:29Speaker 10: uh more craft services and stuff you.
- 1:38:32Speaker 8: Know yeah well then the question is how am i
- 1:38:34Speaker 8: going to know what's going on you know local government
- 1:38:37Speaker 8: you know no one's going to be covering the city
- 1:38:38Speaker 8: council meeting.
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: This guy uh he was doing a whole thing about
- 1:38:42Speaker 3: this too about in English language news in the United States.
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: She's completely degenerate.
- 1:38:49Speaker 14: AI news anchor Leah will be part of its news programming.
- 1:38:52Speaker 14: My name is Fernando and I cover U.S.
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: Latinos.
- 1:38:54Speaker 14: So media company Intravision operates 49 TV stations across the country.
- 1:38:58Speaker 14: They're actually the largest affiliate group of Univision and Unimas.
- 1:39:01Speaker 14: So last month I made a video about how Intravision
- 1:39:04Speaker 14: was expanding its AI co-hosted radio show to more markets. Well,
- 1:39:07Speaker 14: this month, the company launched Intravisión Ahora, a new streaming
- 1:39:11Speaker 14: channel featuring real anchors and one AI-generated one. Her name
- 1:39:14Speaker 14: is Leah, which stands for Latina Inteligencia Artificial.
- 1:39:19Speaker 3: Isn't that crazy? And when you watch it, she doesn't
- 1:39:22Speaker 3: look any different than the human actual anchors. So it's
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: like the human anchors, and there's this one, Leah.
- 1:39:29Speaker 10: Yeah, and so I was talking to a friend of
- 1:39:32Speaker 10: mine that works in radio. And she, and they said
- 1:39:35Speaker 10: that like, even the increased listening, uh, has increased 40%
- 1:39:40Speaker 10: with the, the AI co-host.
- 1:39:43Speaker 4: And, um, and I was.
- 1:39:45Speaker 3: Talking about that.
- 1:39:45Speaker 10: They're like, oh yeah, you know, my, uh, my Latino family,
- 1:39:49Speaker 10: they don't care about if somebody's AR or not. They
- 1:39:52Speaker 10: think they like it. They think it's fun. Yeah.
- 1:39:55Speaker 4: They love playing with AI. Most important question, because it
- 1:40:00Speaker 4: is a requirement for all Latina TV show hosts. Is
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: she hot?
- 1:40:04Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:40:04Speaker 8: Hell yeah.
- 1:40:06Speaker 3: Wait, so that is a preference based on ethnicity?
- 1:40:11Speaker 4: No, but.
- 1:40:12Speaker 3: So everybody else thinks AI kind of sucks for these
- 1:40:16Speaker 3: kind of things, but... No, I'm just....
- 1:40:19Speaker 10: Like I said, you're covering the Spanish stations. So the
- 1:40:23Speaker 10: Spanish stations have embraced this. And so I'm just asking
- 1:40:27Speaker 10: like how it was going. And that was the response
- 1:40:30Speaker 10: that I got.
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: Because they think it's fun.
- 1:40:32Speaker 10: Like, in other words, like art, their audience, their audience,
- 1:40:35Speaker 10: which would be that.
- 1:40:36Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:40:36Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. Yeah. That's what, what is it?
- 1:40:38Speaker 3: What did you think? I said, no, no.
- 1:40:40Speaker 10: Seabass was trying to chime in. Like, Ooh, trying to.
- 1:40:43Speaker 3: Make it saying they have lower standards for you. No,
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: that's what he's trying. I was, I was asking a
- 1:40:48Speaker 3: legit question.
- 1:40:49Speaker 10: That's what he's trying to imply.
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: Cause he's a dick.
- 1:40:54Speaker 8: Well, it's true. This is, again, this is the red pill,
- 1:40:57Speaker 8: blue pill. Some people, man, church face like steak to me,
- 1:40:59Speaker 8: and they're just not going to care.
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's what we've been saying, right, Seabass?
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:41:04Speaker 8: Well, again, I do have a problem when it comes
- 1:41:06Speaker 8: down to actual local reporting because those are people who
- 1:41:10Speaker 8: are investigating, like I said, city council stuff, things like that.
- 1:41:13Speaker 8: And that's where– and a lot of times, let's take
- 1:41:15Speaker 8: all this fraud that's happening all over the country.
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: Is it the news?
- 1:41:19Speaker 8: Usually other people that cover that stuff, investigative reports, Dateline,
- 1:41:21Speaker 8: et cetera, et cetera.
- 1:41:22Speaker 3: And when those when those budgets go away, who's going
- 1:41:24Speaker 3: to do that work? Yeah, there's not a lot of
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: that going on.
- 1:41:28Speaker 8: Well, it may be these little independent journalists, Pablo Torre,
- 1:41:32Speaker 8: for instance, in sports. He did a lot of the
- 1:41:34Speaker 8: Bill Belichick stuff and the Kawhi Leonard stuff. So it
- 1:41:37Speaker 8: may just be it goes from your local news to
- 1:41:39Speaker 8: little independent journalists.
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: There was this one guy. He was doing a bunch
- 1:41:42Speaker 3: of investigation into fraud on the state government level or whatever,
- 1:41:46Speaker 3: and then they were trying to pass something to get–
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: I think they even named it after you. Well, that's
- 1:41:51Speaker 3: how they brand it.
- 1:41:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:41:51Speaker 3: So that's very political. But Nick Shirley's the guy you're
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: talking about.
- 1:41:54Speaker 6: Is that his name?
- 1:41:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:41:55Speaker 8: But he was he was legit. And then what do
- 1:41:57Speaker 8: you know? The feds made a bunch of arrests of
- 1:41:59Speaker 8: people who were scamming the system.
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: So it's real. And people hate him because of his politics.
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:42:03Speaker 3: Is that what it is?
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: Make it illegal to investigate fraud as opposed to go
- 1:42:08Speaker 4: after the fraud.
- 1:42:09Speaker 6: Would you consider him like a far right dude?
- 1:42:12Speaker 8: Well, he's been embraced by those people because he's uncovering experiences.
- 1:42:16Speaker 8: fraud on the far left. So, of course, they're going
- 1:42:18Speaker 8: to circle the wagons.
- 1:42:19Speaker 7: On one side.
- 1:42:19Speaker 6: Because that's what I'm trying to categorize him.
- 1:42:21Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:42:21Speaker 3: Well, he's too young. He said, I wasn't. I just
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: saw fraud. But again, it gets political because that's how
- 1:42:26Speaker 3: it has to be. I don't care where the fraud's
- 1:42:28Speaker 3: coming from. If we're the ones who are getting ripped off,
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: I'd like to know about that. Thank you.
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: Please. It's our money.
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: Text us over to 229-87. More Woody shows coming up.
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: The Woody Show will return. The Woody Show.
- 1:42:49Speaker 4: Well, my name is Woody. That is Greg Gorey. Roy Wood.
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: Menace. What is up?
- 1:42:54Speaker 7: Hi.
- 1:42:54Speaker 3: Gina Graham.
- 1:42:55Speaker 6: Hi.
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: Phones open 877-44-WOODY. Text over to 22987. Seabass, I would
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: like to get your opinion on this. I am prepared.
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: A lot of people have been talking about it. And
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: it keeps popping up and like whack-a-mole. I keep like, like, no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: This woman thinks that the grocery store that she goes
- 1:43:23Speaker 3: to is scamming her. Oh, no, that's that's bad.
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:43:26Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 1:43:27Speaker 16: Every single week with my groceries, when it asks me
- 1:43:29Speaker 16: if I want cash back, I always say yes. And
- 1:43:32Speaker 16: I get my fifty dollars back. So every week I
- 1:43:35Speaker 16: look up on the little screen and see how much
- 1:43:37Speaker 16: money I saved from all my coupons. And usually it's
- 1:43:40Speaker 16: about like $ 50 to $ 60. So I always press $ 50
- 1:43:44Speaker 16: when it asks if I want the cash back. So PSA,
- 1:43:47Speaker 16: if you did not know this, when you ask for
- 1:43:50Speaker 16: cash back, it is not giving you the cash back
- 1:43:53Speaker 16: of the money that you saved from your order, like
- 1:43:55Speaker 16: from the store. It is taking it straight out of
- 1:43:58Speaker 16: your checking account.
- 1:43:59Speaker 3: Now, why do I keep whack-a-mole-ing this, Seabass?
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: Because.
- 1:44:03Speaker 3: Because either she's so stupid or she's lying. One of
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: the two.
- 1:44:08Speaker 8: Yeah, she's not ready for engagement.
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: It's not.
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: It's come out. It's just not.
- 1:44:13Speaker 8: Right. The first thing I do nowadays when I see
- 1:44:16Speaker 8: stuff like this, because it's the impulse is, oh, let's
- 1:44:19Speaker 8: make fun of this idiot. But people know this. And
- 1:44:22Speaker 8: so they say they intentionally set themselves up as the idiot.
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: OK, so let's say you went, Greg. There's been plenty
- 1:44:27Speaker 3: of things, right, that you don't, you know, that you
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: mess up. You don't understand.
- 1:44:32Speaker 5: Sure.
- 1:44:33Speaker 3: You mean to tell me once you realize just how
- 1:44:35Speaker 3: dumb you were. The first thing you do is you
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: run online and post a video about it.
- 1:44:40Speaker 4: I'm that dumb.
- 1:44:42Speaker 3: Or if you did, you'd be like, all right, guys,
- 1:44:44Speaker 3: I've been doing something really stupid.
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: I didn't realize I was taking it out of your plan.
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it'd be like a self-reported bitch be tripping. And look,
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: Greg's done this with.
- 1:44:53Speaker 8: Famously, cats are female.
- 1:44:56Speaker 3: Greg thought that up until he was about 37 years old,
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: he thought that all domestic house cats were female.
- 1:45:04Speaker 6: How would that work?
- 1:45:06Speaker 3: He thought that all suppositories were metal.
- 1:45:09Speaker 4: I don't know. Never used one, never saw one.
- 1:45:10Speaker 9: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 1:45:11Speaker 6: Metal?
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: Well, because the first time I ever heard of a
- 1:45:14Speaker 4: suppository was Woody explaining it, because I can't remember why
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: you had one.
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: It was like a Preparation H. It was a hemorrhoid suppository.
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: And I said, what is a suppository?
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: Whoa, whoa, back up. What is that? And he's like, oh,
- 1:45:23Speaker 4: it's something you put in you, and it's shaped like
- 1:45:25Speaker 4: a bullet. So I figured metal.
- 1:45:27Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: Yeah, because the suppositories for the Preparation H stuff, they're
- 1:45:32Speaker 3: contoured to make it easier to slide right in.
- 1:45:36Speaker 6: Get on in there.
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:45:37Speaker 8: But again, with any of these things, I instantly throw
- 1:45:39Speaker 8: it into AI and say, is this real?
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: And it'll go through.
- 1:45:42Speaker 8: And it's actually very good at this. It'll go, oh,
- 1:45:44Speaker 8: this is a comedy or a parody account.
- 1:45:45Speaker 3: And it didn't correct.
- 1:45:46Speaker 6: But either she's a great actress or she's that dumb.
- 1:45:48Speaker 6: Because she doesn't sound like she's trolling. She's like, you guys.
- 1:45:51Speaker 15: No.
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: No, she's definitely.
- 1:45:52Speaker 8: Like these TikTokers have learned how to do it.
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah. That's what he just said. He figured
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: it out. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:45:57Speaker 6: She sounds real.
- 1:45:58Speaker 9: Like, she believes it.
- 1:45:59Speaker 3: Thing ever is to get comments. To get comments.
- 1:46:03Speaker 10: To people to comment on something, and then that just, like,
- 1:46:06Speaker 10: puts you out there even more.
- 1:46:08Speaker 6: Well, that's the way you want to get famous.
- 1:46:09Speaker 3: Well, that's the thing.
- 1:46:10Speaker 8: Gina raises a good point. Okay, so step one, everyone's
- 1:46:12Speaker 8: calling me an idiot.
- 1:46:13Speaker 3: Step two?
- 1:46:13Speaker 6: Profit?
- 1:46:15Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, if it's monetized, then you probably get
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: a check.
- 1:46:18Speaker 4: Off of it.
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: I mean, but one time. One time.
- 1:46:21Speaker 4: Fool me once.
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: Now what?
- 1:46:21Speaker 8: Yeah, fool me once sort of thing.
- 1:46:23Speaker 10: Yeah, but you see, like, TikTokers all the time that have, like,
- 1:46:27Speaker 10: constant fake content and they just keep it going.
- 1:46:29Speaker 8: Yeah as i said last time this came up there
- 1:46:31Speaker 8: was a guy in radio who did this for years
- 1:46:33Speaker 8: but he was did he did it well he did
- 1:46:35Speaker 8: the same thing phil henry no no he did it
- 1:46:37Speaker 8: no he was a genius there's a difference between art
- 1:46:39Speaker 8: and that like there's the difference between a great painting
- 1:46:41Speaker 8: or great music and that and that's garbage yeah what
- 1:46:44Speaker 8: phil henry did was genius okay.
- 1:46:46Speaker 3: So here here here's another one got sent to us
- 1:46:48Speaker 3: a ton by all these people like oh man this
- 1:46:52Speaker 3: is perfect for you guys have you seen this story
- 1:46:54Speaker 3: Have you seen this story? And then you go, and
- 1:46:56Speaker 3: I click the link, and I look at it, and
- 1:46:57Speaker 3: all these comments, and I'm like, oh, my God. And
- 1:47:01Speaker 3: the people who are leaving the comments, they certainly just
- 1:47:04Speaker 3: believe anything they see online. Headline. Wienerschnitzel employee caught pleasuring
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: herself with corn dog while on the clock. First of all,
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: the headline alone should tell you that it's not real.
- 1:47:15Speaker 3: No news organization would publish that.
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:47:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:47:18Speaker 3: Here's the story. A Wienerschnitzel employee in suburban Ohio... is
- 1:47:22Speaker 3: facing charges after police say she was caught using one
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: of the restaurant's corn dogs in an inappropriate sexual manner
- 1:47:29Speaker 3: during her shift. Officers were called to the fast food
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: restaurant Wednesday afternoon after a co-worker entered the employee-only food
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: prep area and reported seeing the worker engaged in a
- 1:47:40Speaker 3: lewd act with a corn dog taken from the warming tray.
- 1:47:44Speaker 4: And see, these.
- 1:47:45Speaker 8: Were big when we first started the show here. These
- 1:47:47Speaker 8: were big.
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: It was very popular. It was like worldwidenews.net and these
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: things would spread. There was a guy who had all
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: this crazy stuff going on and they found out he
- 1:47:57Speaker 3: was living in the attic of a Walmart. What Walmart
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: have you ever seen?
- 1:48:01Speaker 6: That has an attic?
- 1:48:02Speaker 3: There would be an attic.
- 1:48:03Speaker 8: And they copy and paste some random mugshot of some maniac.
- 1:48:07Speaker 8: And there were stupid people, people who worked in broadcasting
- 1:48:10Speaker 8: who believed it, morons who worked on this show who
- 1:48:12Speaker 8: are dumb idiots.
- 1:48:14Speaker 3: Who would give us every week.
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: Check this guy out.
- 1:48:16Speaker 3: Can you believe it? This woman took a corn dog
- 1:48:18Speaker 3: and crammed it in her blah, blah, blah.
- 1:48:10Speaker 8: Investigators said the worker co-alerted the supervisor the employee was
- 1:48:12Speaker 8: taken to the manager's office.
- 1:48:14Speaker 4: Until police arrived.
- 1:48:14Speaker 3: Officers later reviewed internal security footage. which they said appeared
- 1:48:32Speaker 3: to support the report.
- 1:48:34Speaker 10: See, there's way better ways of doing this to get
- 1:48:38Speaker 10: engagement online without having to lie to people. Like, for example,
- 1:48:41Speaker 10: when we were covering the iHeartRadio Music Festival and I
- 1:48:45Speaker 10: posted on the Woody Show Instagram account, it's called the
- 1:48:49Speaker 10: carousel where there's multiple photos and videos, right? I purposely
- 1:48:54Speaker 10: put Cardi B first in the first thing that you
- 1:48:57Speaker 10: saw because you would see her butt. I knew people
- 1:48:59Speaker 10: were going to comment on her butt which would generate
- 1:49:01Speaker 10: all the comments, would.
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: Get the engagement.
- 1:49:04Speaker 8: But that was real photo or video of Cardi B's butt.
- 1:49:06Speaker 3: Yeah, it was real video.
- 1:49:07Speaker 6: Oh, it doesn't have to be photoshopped.
- 1:49:09Speaker 10: I instantly knew that people were going to start commenting
- 1:49:12Speaker 10: on it. You know, you don't have to come up
- 1:49:14Speaker 10: with these fake stories. You just got to be smarter
- 1:49:16Speaker 10: about it.
- 1:49:17Speaker 3: So with the police, let's assume for the sake of argument, right,
- 1:49:20Speaker 3: that this really happened. Mm-hmm. Would the police be called
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: or they just fire? Get out of here. Throw the
- 1:49:27Speaker 3: corn dogs away and then make a new fresh batch.
- 1:49:30Speaker 4: Start a whole batch. Yeah.
- 1:49:31Speaker 3: Like you're not calling the cops.
- 1:49:32Speaker 4: You're firing.
- 1:49:33Speaker 3: Police said the employee was arrested on misdemeanor charges, public indecency,
- 1:49:37Speaker 3: disorderly conduct, food tampering. Here's the this is what the
- 1:49:40Speaker 3: there's the main headline from the quote news source. Very clearly,
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: this is like an AI... Yeah, but... Put a woman
- 1:49:48Speaker 3: in a Wienerschnitzel. Let me show you what I did.
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: I did the same thing. Look at this one. Okay. Oh, jeez.
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: Oh, wow. Oh, Sammy.
- 1:49:58Speaker 6: Sammy's measuring herself with a corn dog and smiling about it?
- 1:50:01Speaker 3: I'm sharing that.
- 1:50:02Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:50:03Speaker 10: That's incredible.
- 1:50:04Speaker 8: I just could not control myself.
- 1:50:05Speaker 5: Wow, Sammy.
- 1:50:06Speaker 9: It's so fun, you know?
- 1:50:07Speaker 3: Just show us how easy it is. Here, boom.
- 1:50:10Speaker 4: There you go.
- 1:50:11Speaker 3: Here, put this person in a Wienerschnitzel uniform.
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:50:15Speaker 3: Wait, so they both did that?
- 1:50:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:50:18Speaker 3: Like, Sammy, like, where's the hookup on the gift cards?
- 1:50:20Speaker 3: I'm showing how easy it is.
- 1:50:21Speaker 6: I understand.
- 1:50:22Speaker 8: You would say, like, okay, wherever you saw that, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, whatever,
- 1:50:24Speaker 8: they should have, like, an AI-generated warning underneath it.
- 1:50:27Speaker 10: Oh, they're starting to do that on Facebook and Instagram.
- 1:50:29Speaker 3: And I think people just don't pay attention to those.
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: They don't.
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: It's very small font.
- 1:50:32Speaker 4: Some of them say, like, no AI content.
- 1:50:34Speaker 3: They're like, I'll share this. It's very small font. Yeah,
- 1:50:37Speaker 3: so before you go sending it to us again, there
- 1:50:40Speaker 3: you go. That one's not real either. And again, just
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: a real quick, you take that, you throw it in,
- 1:50:44Speaker 3: you can throw that into the A, or just into
- 1:50:46Speaker 3: a regular Google search, and it'll tell you that it's
- 1:50:49Speaker 3: not real.
- 1:50:49Speaker 10: But back to what Seabass said, it's just common sense.
- 1:50:52Speaker 10: The title alone, the headline alone tells you this is
- 1:50:57Speaker 10: not real.
- 1:50:57Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:50:58Speaker 3: Wiener Schnitzel employee caught pleasuring herself with corndog while on
- 1:51:01Speaker 3: the clock. If it was off the clock.
- 1:51:03Speaker 4: Yeah, right. She went on her day off. Yeah.
- 1:51:06Speaker 1: This is The Woody Show.
- 1:51:10Speaker 3: So competitive eater Joey Chestnut, he just won a competition.
- 1:51:17Speaker 3: He ate 21 and a quarter pounds of poutine in
- 1:51:22Speaker 3: 10 minutes.
- 1:51:24Speaker 8: I know we've talked about this, but how does a
- 1:51:26Speaker 8: human body add 21 pounds of anything?
- 1:51:29Speaker 3: And that's down from the 26 pounds of poutine he
- 1:51:32Speaker 3: ate last year.
- 1:51:34Speaker 15: Wow.
- 1:51:34Speaker 3: What is poochie? Which he blamed partly on.
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: What?
- 1:51:36Speaker 6: Fries and cheese curds and gravy.
- 1:51:38Speaker 3: Cold weather. He said that it made the gravy and
- 1:51:41Speaker 3: the fries harder to swallow. Eh, congealed. Yeah, with 21
- 1:51:44Speaker 3: and a quarter pounds, he won the competition $ 9, 500. Yeah.
- 1:51:50Speaker 10: Joey, he's an animal, man. That guy parties hard.
- 1:51:54Speaker 3: Did he beat his case? I know that he had
- 1:51:56Speaker 3: a little.
- 1:51:57Speaker 8: Oh, someone said he beat him, like some domestic violence thing.
- 1:51:59Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 1:52:00Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't follow all the Joey Chestnut. I hear
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: about them like once a year for sure.
- 1:52:05Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:52:06Speaker 3: With the Nathan's thing.
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:52:08Speaker 9: Fourth of July.
- 1:52:08Speaker 3: Fourth of July. And then every once in a while
- 1:52:11Speaker 3: you get something like this.
- 1:52:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:52:13Speaker 3: And that'll be it.
- 1:52:14Speaker 4: That'll be it.
- 1:52:14Speaker 3: And is Fat Sammy just pretending not to be Fat Sammy?
- 1:52:17Speaker 3: She doesn't know what poutine is?
- 1:52:18Speaker 7: I don't know what it is.
- 1:52:19Speaker 6: It's Canadian.
- 1:52:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:52:20Speaker 10: We spent a whole weekend talking about it once when.
- 1:52:22Speaker 3: We were in Alaska.
- 1:52:24Speaker 11: I don't think I was with you when that happened.
- 1:52:26Speaker 8: So French fries, gravy, cheese curds, and then you can
- 1:52:29Speaker 8: throw it, you can top.
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: It in.
- 1:52:32Speaker 6: Any other stuff.
- 1:52:34Speaker 8: It's an ultimate fat, one of the fattest meals, yes.
- 1:52:36Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:52:38Speaker 3: Meta says being fat will be a choice soon. It will.
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: I mean, isn't it always a choice?
- 1:52:44Speaker 10: Yeah, but like extra choice. Like I used to, I mean,
- 1:52:48Speaker 10: I'm a former fatty, so I'm not fat shaming anybody,
- 1:52:51Speaker 10: but you know, With all these different weight loss drugs
- 1:52:55Speaker 10: and everything that eventually it will be a choice because
- 1:52:59Speaker 10: you used to be like behind the eight ball with
- 1:53:01Speaker 10: your genetics and all kinds of stuff like that. And
- 1:53:04Speaker 10: I get it working out. It's like super, super sucks
- 1:53:08Speaker 10: and it's hard.
- 1:53:08Speaker 3: And yeah. And yeah.
- 1:53:11Speaker 10: And the cost of the drugs were super expensive. But, dude,
- 1:53:14Speaker 10: I don't know if you guys have been hearing about
- 1:53:16Speaker 10: this thing. And it's, like, kind of rampant around people
- 1:53:18Speaker 10: that I've been talking with. Is that new Retta stuff?
- 1:53:23Speaker 7: Retta.
- 1:53:24Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:53:24Speaker 6: Resetitude or whatever.
- 1:53:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:53:26Speaker 3: Not familiar.
- 1:53:27Speaker 10: It is kind of taking over from, like, the peptides thing.
- 1:53:33Speaker 10: And it was about to be put out by Eli Lilly.
- 1:53:36Speaker 10: I might not have, like, all the information correct. But
- 1:53:41Speaker 10: they had the compound, and some other people started picking
- 1:53:44Speaker 10: it up and just started putting it out already.
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: So it's just another fat loss drug?
- 1:53:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I told you about it a few months ago.
- 1:53:49Speaker 10: But it's on another level where now they have made
- 1:53:53Speaker 10: even more advancements where basically you'll have muscle.
- 1:53:58Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: So you'll be ripped without even working out. Like, eventually,
- 1:54:02Speaker 3: within the next three or four years. Because, like, right now,
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: the Wagovis and the Zetbounds, like, you will lose weight,
- 1:54:10Speaker 3: but you're also losing muscle when you're taking those, right?
- 1:54:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:54:14Speaker 3: So with this one, it does the weight loss, but
- 1:54:16Speaker 3: you're maintaining your muscle?
- 1:54:18Speaker 10: You're maintaining muscle, and then they said eventually you will
- 1:54:21Speaker 10: build muscle with.
- 1:54:22Speaker 4: It, too.
- 1:54:23Speaker 9: Just from the pill?
- 1:54:24Speaker 6: I have friends that are on it, and they get
- 1:54:26Speaker 6: it from.
- 1:54:28Speaker 3: Yeah, because.
- 1:54:28Speaker 4: Some guy who's talking like this.
- 1:54:30Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 1:54:31Speaker 10: But they love it. Yeah, eventually Eli Lilly will.
- 1:54:34Speaker 3: Put it out.
- 1:54:35Speaker 6: It was supposed to be by the end of this year.
- 1:54:37Speaker 3: Yeah, what happened was.
- 1:54:39Speaker 10: Now, again, I don't have all the information right, but
- 1:54:41Speaker 10: they found that it actually decreases cancer cells.
- 1:54:47Speaker 4: with it.
- 1:54:48Speaker 3: So they kind of have to say that. Yeah. I'm convinced.
- 1:54:51Speaker 3: I mean, I'm taking Zetbound. I'll tell you, I'm not
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: a former fatty. I'm still a current fatty. I'm less fatty,
- 1:54:58Speaker 3: but I'm still a current fatty. I'm not walking around like, Oh, look,
- 1:55:01Speaker 3: I'm not fat anymore. No, I'm certainly fat. I still
- 1:55:05Speaker 3: take the Zetbound. Um, I, I can't help, but think,
- 1:55:10Speaker 3: this has got to be giving me cancer right now.
- 1:55:13Speaker 3: Is it worth it for being, you know, less fat?
- 1:55:16Speaker 4: I mean, it is.
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: Well, there's a certain age at which being that fat,
- 1:55:20Speaker 3: it's a death sentence. Right. If it was, you're taking
- 1:55:23Speaker 3: your risk of what, because there's always a side effect, right?
- 1:55:26Speaker 3: It's never, you're going to lose weight and you're going
- 1:55:29Speaker 3: to gain muscle and there's no, there's no risk whatsoever.
- 1:55:33Speaker 3: There's got to be some kind of risk. Even with
- 1:55:35Speaker 3: working out, there's a risk. You could like, really injure
- 1:55:38Speaker 3: yourself or blow out your knees doing things the wrong way.
- 1:55:40Speaker 3: Maybe you have an undiagnosed heart condition. People who are
- 1:55:43Speaker 3: like running all the time, like they destroy their body. Yep.
- 1:55:46Speaker 3: But with the running, yes.
- 1:55:47Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:55:47Speaker 3: There's these benefits to it, but like from a structural,
- 1:55:51Speaker 3: like they're, they're the ones who are getting their knees,
- 1:55:53Speaker 3: you know, shredded and needing knee replacements and things. Oh,
- 1:55:56Speaker 3: I've been jogging my whole life.
- 1:55:58Speaker 6: Like my husband.
- 1:55:59Speaker 3: Like your husband.
- 1:56:00Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:56:00Speaker 3: So there's always, even when you're doing something, quote, healthy,
- 1:56:04Speaker 3: there's a flip side to it.
- 1:56:05Speaker 10: But I think that with any drugs, yeah, there has
- 1:56:07Speaker 10: to be some kind of side effect.
- 1:56:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but I wonder, like, where, okay, so you lose
- 1:56:10Speaker 3: a bunch of weight, but you're, like, somehow now you're
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: ripped and you didn't do one exercise? Like, that's deal
- 1:56:16Speaker 3: with the devil sound.
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: Yeah, that's why they say that.
- 1:56:18Speaker 10: That's the stuff that Greg's been wanting.
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: I've been dreaming of that my whole life.
- 1:56:21Speaker 6: They always say there's no free lunches in nature, so
- 1:56:24Speaker 6: even if you get ripped, you're gonna get, like, gills
- 1:56:26Speaker 6: and a.
- 1:56:27Speaker 3: Well, no lunch is a way to lose weight.
- 1:56:28Speaker 9: That's true.
- 1:56:30Speaker 3: Is this pill form or injection? It's injection.
- 1:56:33Speaker 6: I have a contact if you're interested.
- 1:56:34Speaker 10: But eventually that it will be in pill form. The
- 1:56:37Speaker 10: doctors that I was listening to talk about it, they're like, yeah,
- 1:56:40Speaker 10: this is a total game changer when it comes to it.
- 1:56:44Speaker 3: I personally am not going to.
- 1:56:46Speaker 10: Get it from people that are like, you know, stealing
- 1:56:48Speaker 10: the compound and making it on their own.
- 1:56:50Speaker 3: I'll wait for Eli Lilly to put it out. Wouldn't
- 1:56:51Speaker 3: there have been like a patent on it or something?
- 1:56:53Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:56:54Speaker 10: Yeah, they're actually, Eli Lilly or Legia or whoever came
- 1:56:57Speaker 10: up with it is suing all these people that are
- 1:57:00Speaker 10: putting out this stuff.
- 1:57:01Speaker 3: 562 says, Menace is wrong about Retta. I want to
- 1:57:03Speaker 3: call in and talk about it.
- 1:57:04Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:57:04Speaker 3: Jeff, you want to get him on the phone?
- 1:57:05Speaker 4: Here's what I'm seeing.
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: Again, I don't know everything.
- 1:57:08Speaker 8: No, no, I would be interested. I think his men
- 1:57:10Speaker 8: hear more about it. Like I said, still fat, would
- 1:57:13Speaker 8: like to be less fat. The muscle thing, I'm not
- 1:57:15Speaker 8: seeing anything about that. I'm seeing that it works like
- 1:57:17Speaker 8: a GLP-1.
- 1:57:18Speaker 6: They call it a GLP-3.
- 1:57:19Speaker 10: Again, there was a part that got taken out when I,
- 1:57:21Speaker 10: what I said was they believe that this RETA thing
- 1:57:24Speaker 10: within the next three or five years will start doing
- 1:57:26Speaker 10: the muscle thing.
- 1:57:26Speaker 3: Not currently.
- 1:57:27Speaker 8: Well, that would have to be a different compound though.
- 1:57:29Speaker 8: It wouldn't be this retrotruthine. That would have to be
- 1:57:31Speaker 8: this plus something else. On top of the retrotruthine. Right,
- 1:57:34Speaker 8: but as it is now, it does not.
- 1:57:35Speaker 3: This RETA is just another weight loss?
- 1:57:37Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:57:37Speaker 8: So yeah, GLP-1 also has a metabolic booster, which helps
- 1:57:42Speaker 8: with insulin release and digestion.
- 1:57:43Speaker 15: Right.
- 1:57:44Speaker 8: And then something else here about breaking down fats and stuff.
- 1:57:47Speaker 3: Miracle.
- 1:57:49Speaker 8: Yeah, but I want the muscle version. To be clear,
- 1:57:52Speaker 8: that does not exist yet.
- 1:57:54Speaker 3: Let's switch gears. Mark Nelson hits us up on Instagram
- 1:57:57Speaker 3: and says, please debate this. There are five different sides.
- 1:58:01Speaker 3: You can only pick two.
- 1:58:03Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:58:03Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:58:04Speaker 3: Your choices are potato salad, coleslaw. Oh, it's those kinds
- 1:58:07Speaker 3: of sides.
- 1:58:07Speaker 4: Mac and cheese, baked beans.
- 1:58:10Speaker 3: Or collard greens. So potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, mac
- 1:58:16Speaker 3: and cheese, collard greens. You can only pick two. Which
- 1:58:20Speaker 3: two do you pick?
- 1:58:21Speaker 8: Well, my question is, is anyone not picking mac and cheese?
- 1:58:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:58:24Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:58:25Speaker 3: That's number one.
- 1:58:26Speaker 4: Like I'm envisioning a certain meal, like, In general, I
- 1:58:29Speaker 4: like mac and cheese.
- 1:58:30Speaker 3: And potato salad. Forget what the main thing, like you
- 1:58:34Speaker 3: just can pick two.
- 1:58:34Speaker 4: Of these things.
- 1:58:35Speaker 6: As long as it's not like macaroni pasta. Nobody wants that.
- 1:58:39Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:58:40Speaker 3: I think I'm definitely going mac and cheese. And then
- 1:58:42Speaker 3: my second one would be baked beans.
- 1:58:44Speaker 6: Ooh, this would be last on my list.
- 1:58:46Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:58:47Speaker 6: I would say mac and cheese and collard greens.
- 1:58:49Speaker 3: See, collard greens would be last on my list.
- 1:58:51Speaker 6: It's so funny. A lot of people don't like it.
- 1:58:53Speaker 3: They're okay. All of them. I don't dislike them.
- 1:58:56Speaker 8: They can be very bitter.
- 1:58:57Speaker 11: I think they're disgusting.
- 1:58:58Speaker 7: Really?
- 1:58:58Speaker 5: Why?
- 1:58:59Speaker 11: I tried some yesterday.
- 1:59:00Speaker 6: Bacon in them.
- 1:59:01Speaker 15: No.
- 1:59:03Speaker 8: This would be a much more interesting debate if mac
- 1:59:06Speaker 8: and cheese were replaced by macaroni salad.
- 1:59:08Speaker 6: That's what I thought it was.
- 1:59:10Speaker 3: Ooh, let's do it then. We can make the rule.
- 1:59:12Speaker 3: Let's just get crazy.
- 1:59:13Speaker 4: Yeah, let's just change it.
- 1:59:15Speaker 3: Mark sent it over as is, but we can always
- 1:59:19Speaker 3: change it up. It's our show. We can do whatever
- 1:59:21Speaker 3: we want.
- 1:59:21Speaker 6: Then in that case, totally different answer.
- 1:59:23Speaker 3: Potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, baked beans, collard greens. I
- 1:59:28Speaker 3: think in that case, man... Bake beans definitely still in there.
- 1:59:34Speaker 3: I might go, what kind of coleslaw? Are you talking
- 1:59:39Speaker 3: about the creamy one or the stuff that's like the
- 1:59:41Speaker 3: oil and vinegar kind? The stuff you get at the
- 1:59:44Speaker 3: grocery store is Hain. Because what they have in here,
- 1:59:46Speaker 3: they have more like the creamy coleslaw.
- 1:59:48Speaker 6: Yeah, like picnic coleslaw.
- 1:59:49Speaker 3: I think in that case, I'm going baked beans and
- 1:59:52Speaker 3: macaroni salad.
- 1:59:54Speaker 16: Wow.
- 1:59:54Speaker 6: I'm totally changing mine. In that case, I'm doing potato
- 1:59:57Speaker 6: salad and coleslaw.
- 1:59:58Speaker 4: I'm doing potato salad and mac salad.
- 2:00:01Speaker 3: You know what? I think I'm just not a potato guy.
- 2:00:03Speaker 11: You are the craziest.
- 2:00:06Speaker 6: You don't eat french fries. You don't care about them.
- 2:00:08Speaker 3: You don't care about pizza. I will eat french fries,
- 2:00:09Speaker 3: but I don't get excited about them. I will skip
- 2:00:11Speaker 3: them if there's something better as an option. What's your
- 2:00:13Speaker 3: favorite potato dish? Is it mashed? Is it scalloped? Is
- 2:00:16Speaker 3: it baked?
- 2:00:17Speaker 6: Cheesy?
- 2:00:18Speaker 3: Yeah, something like a scallop thing might be interesting. What
- 2:00:21Speaker 3: about loaded baked?
- 2:00:23Speaker 6: Twice baked?
- 2:00:23Speaker 3: Twice baked. Loaded baked potato is good for the first
- 2:00:27Speaker 3: few bites, then you're just left with dry, bland potato.
- 2:00:31Speaker 3: So twice baked potato, now we're talking.
- 2:00:35Speaker 8: For Fat Sammy, that's what they take the interior, mix
- 2:00:37Speaker 8: it with cheese and butter and stuff.
- 2:00:38Speaker 3: Yeah, they basically make mashed potatoes, then put them back
- 2:00:41Speaker 3: into the potato skin. Put it all over me. Like
- 2:00:43Speaker 3: a deviled egg. Yeah, what would you go with, Menace?
- 2:00:46Speaker 10: I love mac and cheese, and I love potato salad.
- 2:00:48Speaker 3: Mac and cheese is out now. Yeah, no, but the
- 2:00:50Speaker 3: Mac version. So the Mac version of what?
- 2:00:53Speaker 8: You mean macaroni salad?
- 2:00:54Speaker 3: Oh, macaroni salad.
- 2:00:55Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's like mac and cheese, but it's
- 2:00:57Speaker 4: salad form.
- 2:00:58Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's in salad.
- 2:01:00Speaker 10: But it's basically the same thing as potato salad.
- 2:01:03Speaker 4: Right.
- 2:01:03Speaker 3: That's my problem with both of those is so often
- 2:01:05Speaker 3: they are just so watery and thin. And slick. But
- 2:01:08Speaker 3: you can get good ones. So which ones, Seabass? What
- 2:01:10Speaker 3: are you going with?
- 2:01:11Speaker 8: I'm going to keep the collard greens. They're rich and they're-
- 2:01:15Speaker 8: They're delicious.
- 2:01:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I like them.
- 2:01:17Speaker 8: And I'm going to go with the beans, I think.
- 2:01:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:01:21Speaker 3: Sammy?
- 2:01:21Speaker 4: We are from the South.
- 2:01:22Speaker 11: The potato salad and the macaroni salad.
- 2:01:25Speaker 6: Carbo-load fat salad.
- 2:01:26Speaker 4: Yeah, same as Sammy.
- 2:01:27Speaker 3: Which one will Greg Eatman throw up immediately? I love
- 2:01:32Speaker 3: both those things so much. Let's go to, now this
- 2:01:36Speaker 3: is Eddie, who hit us up to say that he
- 2:01:39Speaker 3: was wrong and met us was wrong about the- Retta.
- 2:01:42Speaker 3: The Retta trug.
- 2:01:43Speaker 6: Retta True Tide.
- 2:01:44Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:01:45Speaker 3: What do you got, Eddie?
- 2:01:47Speaker 7: Yeah, actually, I wasn't the guy that said that he
- 2:01:49Speaker 7: was wrong, but I just got put on. So a
- 2:01:52Speaker 7: lot of people actually get this from China. I know
- 2:01:54Speaker 7: one of the guys that actually receives the product and
- 2:01:59Speaker 7: they use a messaging app, you know, whether it's Signal
- 2:02:02Speaker 7: or some.
- 2:02:02Speaker 4: Sort of app. He ain't doing that.
- 2:02:03Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:02:05Speaker 7: So then they get then they get the they get
- 2:02:07Speaker 7: the compounds from China. So I'm not sure how the
- 2:02:09Speaker 7: copyright stuff would work when it comes to that. But
- 2:02:11Speaker 7: a lot of that pretty much what reddit does is
- 2:02:14Speaker 7: that it takes away the food noise, which is also
- 2:02:17Speaker 7: a side effect about it is that it takes away
- 2:02:19Speaker 7: the food noise, but it could also take desire away
- 2:02:21Speaker 7: from doing other things. which is what a lot of
- 2:02:24Speaker 7: people are having issues with.
- 2:02:25Speaker 3: Well, that's the same as a GLP.
- 2:02:27Speaker 8: Right, yeah, because they say that it helps. A lot
- 2:02:29Speaker 8: of alcoholics are getting help vicariously.
- 2:02:31Speaker 3: They didn't realize it.
- 2:02:31Speaker 6: Yeah, with addiction. But also they say Reta True Tide, it'll, well,
- 2:02:36Speaker 6: while everything else is like maybe 20% weight loss, this
- 2:02:38Speaker 6: is 30% weight loss.
- 2:02:40Speaker 8: I'm at a site that claims to say it, and
- 2:02:42Speaker 8: I have to affirm that I am over 21.
- 2:02:44Speaker 3: And I am a medical researcher. Wait, so Eddie wasn't
- 2:02:50Speaker 3: the guy that texted in. We just got him on randomly?
- 2:02:52Speaker 4: No, he was the China plug. He said that you
- 2:02:56Speaker 4: can get in China. Sorry, wrong phone number.
- 2:02:58Speaker 3: I think we know the answer to how it works here.
- 2:03:01Speaker 3: This is the guy that texted in. I want to
- 2:03:03Speaker 3: give the guy an opportunity to.
- 2:03:05Speaker 10: And I think Michael is going to say I'm wrong
- 2:03:06Speaker 10: about the muscle part.
- 2:03:07Speaker 3: Well, let's find out.
- 2:03:08Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 2:03:09Speaker 3: Michael, are you there? Why is Menace wrong?
- 2:03:15Speaker 5: Well, I don't want to say he's wrong in particular,
- 2:03:18Speaker 5: but with Reddit True Tide, I actually am on it.
- 2:03:22Speaker 5: I've been on it for 12 weeks now. And if
- 2:03:25Speaker 5: you don't put in the work, just like anything else,
- 2:03:28Speaker 5: you're going to get skinny fat. So it's going to
- 2:03:30Speaker 5: actually break down your muscle. What you would want to take,
- 2:03:33Speaker 5: it's called tesamorelin. Tesamorelin is what will keep your muscle
- 2:03:39Speaker 5: retention while you're breaking down that fat. So your body
- 2:03:42Speaker 5: is going to use all of its natural energy that
- 2:03:45Speaker 5: it has inside of it, like your natural fat. as energy,
- 2:03:48Speaker 5: but as you're using that, it's also gonna use the
- 2:03:51Speaker 5: muscle that you have stored in your system.
- 2:03:53Speaker 3: So you take this with the other stuff, or this
- 2:03:55Speaker 3: instead of the other stuff? With.
- 2:03:57Speaker 7: No, you take it with.
- 2:03:58Speaker 4: With.
- 2:03:59Speaker 7: It is crazy.
- 2:04:00Speaker 5: There's people that are on like eight or nine different
- 2:04:02Speaker 5: types of peptides, and it pretty much is for a
- 2:04:04Speaker 5: bunch of other things, for like a metabolism booster, for energy,
- 2:04:08Speaker 5: for skin. There is even one that you could even
- 2:04:11Speaker 5: inject yourself to get a permanent tan for weeks on end.
- 2:04:14Speaker 3: See, that's the stuff I don't believe. I hear that stuff,
