- 0:04Speaker 2: In the morning, Amanda and Murphy's Burrow is on the phone.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Good morning, Amanda, Good morning, How are you. How have
- 0:11Speaker 2: you been the last few days? What does your situation
- 0:13Speaker 2: tell us? Everything?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Actually, I enjoyed in home and not having to go
- 0:19Speaker 3: to work. I actually went to work this morning at
- 0:22Speaker 3: one o'clock and I got off are almost four. What
- 0:26Speaker 3: do you do a looks for Amazon?
- 0:29Speaker 4: Well, honestly, thank you so much for doing what you're doing.
- 0:31Speaker 5: I know it's super rough out there and the roads
- 0:33Speaker 5: are still not very great, so we appreciate you still
- 0:35Speaker 5: going to work this morning.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Did you lose power at all?
- 0:39Speaker 6: I did not?
- 0:39Speaker 4: Okay, good for you, all.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Right, Amanda.
- 0:41Speaker 7: Then it seems like you're starting to get into like
- 0:43Speaker 7: a normal pace of life again, which is great to hear.
- 0:47Speaker 7: I think a lot of us are trying right now
- 0:49Speaker 7: today to sort of get back to normal.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Not everybody has.
- 0:52Speaker 7: That ability, obviously, because so many people are still without
- 0:55Speaker 7: power right now. But we're happy to hear that you're
- 0:57Speaker 7: starting to get back into the groove of things again.
- 1:00Speaker 8: And didn't having to push my husband's car out of
- 1:04Speaker 8: the ice yesterday.
- 1:06Speaker 3: See that's the crazy part. Is like a lot of
- 1:08Speaker 3: people are starting to drive and stuff like that. I
- 1:09Speaker 3: was just talking about my drive in.
- 1:11Speaker 7: There's lots of areas that still have a lot of ice.
- 1:14Speaker 7: There's areas that look super clear, and then out of
- 1:16Speaker 7: nowhere there's.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Just massive patches of ice.
- 1:19Speaker 8: Yep, our apartment complex is still got up.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Mine isn't taken care of anything at all. It's all
- 1:27Speaker 3: ice outside. Yeah, that's how mine is.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Was there a happy resolution ending to that car story,
- 1:33Speaker 2: your husband's car.
- 1:35Speaker 7: Yeah, we got it out and I saved it from
- 1:37Speaker 7: hitting another car.
- 1:39Speaker 5: The hero that you are, Amanda, hear it, the strong
- 1:44Speaker 5: pushing cars out of ice, picking it out like Superman.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Amanda.
- 1:52Speaker 7: We're happy to hear that everything is going okay and
- 1:55Speaker 7: going better as of today, and it's gonna get even
- 1:58Speaker 7: better because you are the first of the day on
- 2:00Speaker 7: one O seven five The River. You're gonna go see
- 2:02Speaker 7: Laurence Spencersmith at the Ryman February fourth.
- 2:05Speaker 2: So next week, all right, hang on, we're gonna put
- 2:09Speaker 2: you on hold get all your information so we can
- 2:10Speaker 2: get you these tickets. Thank you so much for starting
- 2:12Speaker 2: your day with us.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Okay, you welcome.
- 2:13Speaker 6: Pick you one O seven five.
- 2:15Speaker 1: The River, Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the Morning.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Today is the day I finally left my house.
- 2:22Speaker 7: It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning on one
- 2:24Speaker 7: O seven five the River. I've been stuck in my
- 2:26Speaker 7: house since Friday.
- 2:27Speaker 4: It's like a bear coming out of hibernation.
- 2:29Speaker 7: Yeah, truly at my house. I mean seven hundred square
- 2:31Speaker 7: foot apartment. Yeah, with another human being.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Man You guys, you and ag A just trapped in
- 2:36Speaker 2: there for days. I know that's a lot of people's
- 2:37Speaker 2: story right now. So you're not You're not alone in this,
- 2:40Speaker 2: but I want to find out how it feels to
- 2:42Speaker 2: have emerged. We're gonna find out if Ricky saw her shadow,
- 2:45Speaker 2: what's to come, all the things right after Taylor Swift
- 2:48Speaker 2: tell us about your experience.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Okay, all right, I'm ready.
- 2:51Speaker 6: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning.
- 2:54Speaker 2: One five seven five the River. Ricky, Zach and Mano
- 2:58Speaker 2: in the Morning, Live with you on this Wednesday morning.
- 3:01Speaker 2: All back to work. I know this has been a
- 3:03Speaker 2: devastating week for Nashville. A lot of people snowed in.
- 3:06Speaker 2: That was Ricky until this morning just saw the outside
- 3:09Speaker 2: world for the first time since Friday.
- 3:11Speaker 7: This morning is the first time that I left my
- 3:13Speaker 7: apartment because of the ice, and my car is not
- 3:16Speaker 7: great in the ice. I have a tiny little twenty
- 3:18Speaker 7: sixteen Volkswagen Beetle that does not do well in snow
- 3:21Speaker 7: or ice. It is not prepared for that. Poor little
- 3:24Speaker 7: Mac does not like the cold. But I've been stuck
- 3:27Speaker 7: inside and today I was like, all right, it seems
- 3:29Speaker 7: like this might be the day. I will say, please
- 3:31Speaker 7: still be careful while you're driving, because there are so
- 3:34Speaker 7: many areas that are clear, and then there are areas
- 3:36Speaker 7: that are just covered.
- 3:38Speaker 4: In the black ice.
- 3:40Speaker 7: Yes, so please just drive carefully, drive slowly. That's what
- 3:44Speaker 7: I did to get into work, and I think that's
- 3:46Speaker 7: what helped. At one point I did slip out, and
- 3:49Speaker 7: it was inside a.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Parking garage here at work.
- 3:52Speaker 7: So like it can be anywhere the ice, anywhere that
- 3:55Speaker 7: there's water, it can just become ice. So keep that
- 3:58Speaker 7: in mind and please be careful. Why but it feels
- 4:01Speaker 7: good to be outside.
- 4:02Speaker 5: About to say, how do you feel now that you
- 4:04Speaker 5: finally left your apartment. You've been in there since Friday,
- 4:06Speaker 5: which is crazy to me.
- 4:08Speaker 7: Since Friday, at I don't know, two pm, I've been
- 4:11Speaker 7: inside my four hundred four hundred seven hundred skurfee, I
- 4:14Speaker 7: think is what it is.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Apartment probably felt a lot smaller.
- 4:17Speaker 7: Four I felt so much smaller after a while, because
- 4:21Speaker 7: you also, you know, you can't call it balcony.
- 4:23Speaker 3: The balcony makes it feel bigger.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Than it actually beating.
- 4:28Speaker 3: But yeah, so we've been spending a lot of time inside.
- 4:30Speaker 7: We are very lucky because we've had power through this.
- 4:33Speaker 7: So I do know how lucky I.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Am for that. Both AJ and I know that because
- 4:37Speaker 3: there are a lot of people without power still.
- 4:39Speaker 7: And I'm thinking of all of you. I've been so
- 4:40Speaker 7: worried about all of Nashville this entire time. But hopefully
- 4:44Speaker 7: we start to get a little more normal from today on.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Did times start to lose all meaning for you when
- 4:50Speaker 2: you're in there?
- 4:50Speaker 3: Oh, for sure.
- 4:51Speaker 7: I was very confused on time while I was stuck inside,
- 4:55Speaker 7: but it was it was kind of nice to have
- 4:57Speaker 7: a little bit of a break and to not feel
- 4:59Speaker 7: like I needed to go anywhere or needed to do anything,
- 5:02Speaker 7: So that part was nice for like the first few days.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I did say to you guys the.
- 5:06Speaker 7: Other day that we were getting very close to the
- 5:08Speaker 7: day that I'm just gonna have to break out.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to break out of the apartment and
- 5:12Speaker 3: do something today that day.
- 5:14Speaker 2: You're broadcasting from home for the last two days, and
- 5:16Speaker 2: you wore the same shirt both days. Mentally we knew
- 5:19Speaker 2: you weren't one hundred percent yep, but your your hair,
- 5:22Speaker 2: your fresh, you're cleaning today shirt.
- 5:25Speaker 3: I was thinking showered for you guys.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I was thinking about how there will be a population
- 5:28Speaker 2: boom in Nashville in about nine ten months.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you know, yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 2: People staying inside.
- 5:34Speaker 3: There's not much to do when you're stuck inside other
- 5:37Speaker 3: than you know.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Well, that's my way of asking if we can expect
- 5:40Speaker 2: Oh no, no.
- 5:44Speaker 3: No, what's shut upon me?
- 5:47Speaker 2: I'm glad you're out of the house. Going to see
- 5:49Speaker 2: you back in studio. Three things you need to know
- 5:52Speaker 2: the past seven o'clock here on this Wednesday morning. We
- 5:55Speaker 2: really appreciate you starting your day with let's take it
- 5:57Speaker 2: easy out there, go slow. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 6:01Speaker 7: We have an update on power outages in Middle Tennessee.
- 6:04Speaker 7: Nes is reporting a little over one hundred and six
- 6:07Speaker 7: one hundred and six thousand customers without power, and Middle
- 6:11Speaker 7: Tennessee Electric is reporting seven hundred and eighty three customers
- 6:15Speaker 7: without power. They have crews working NonStop to get everyone's
- 6:18Speaker 7: power back. I know this has been beyond frustrating for
- 6:20Speaker 7: everybody that doesn't have power right now. I know everybody
- 6:23Speaker 7: is cold. I feel you, I feel for you.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Hang in there.
- 6:28Speaker 7: There are warming shelters still available if you need a
- 6:30Speaker 7: warm place to stay, and if you can't get there,
- 6:33Speaker 7: you can call six one five four zero one seventeen.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Twelve for a ride. That's six one five four to
- 6:40Speaker 3: oh one seventeen twelve for a ride. I really hope
- 6:44Speaker 3: everything gets up and running very soon.
- 6:46Speaker 7: Obviously, this, uh, these amount of customers that are still
- 6:50Speaker 7: without power is a lot, but it is way less
- 6:53Speaker 7: than what they started with at the beginning of the storm,
- 6:56Speaker 7: so they're working on it.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Our appreciation to all the crews to.
- 6:59Speaker 3: The line absolutely.
- 7:01Speaker 7: Both Harry Styles and Dochi will present at the Grammys
- 7:04Speaker 7: this year. They're the first presenters to be announced for
- 7:07Speaker 7: this year's show. Both Harry and Doci are past Grammy winners,
- 7:10Speaker 7: and Dochi is nominated in five categories this year for
- 7:13Speaker 7: her song Anxiety.
- 7:14Speaker 3: So that's going to be really cool to watch.
- 7:15Speaker 7: The Grammys are really shaking out to be something to
- 7:18Speaker 7: watch this year because they previously announced some performers. Sabrina Carpenter, Clips,
- 7:22Speaker 7: Pharral Williams and the eight Best New Artist nominees are
- 7:25Speaker 7: all going to perform this year.
- 7:27Speaker 3: The show is going to air live Layer It's going
- 7:31Speaker 3: to air.
- 7:31Speaker 7: Live on Sunday, February first at seven pm our time.
- 7:35Speaker 7: And this is what you need to know if you
- 7:37Speaker 7: had any flights canceled or delayed by the recent winter storm.
- 7:42Speaker 7: This intense winter storm hit US and many other states.
- 7:45Speaker 7: It grounded more than twelve thousand flights nationwide, so it
- 7:48Speaker 7: was quite a hectic time for flights. If a flight
- 7:52Speaker 7: is canceled and you decide not to travel, airlines are
- 7:55Speaker 7: legally required to issue you a full refund, even on
- 7:58Speaker 7: non refundable tickets, plus.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Any unused bag fees or seat upgrades.
- 8:02Speaker 7: That is something to know because I did not know
- 8:04Speaker 7: that as always checking your flight status before heading to
- 8:07Speaker 7: the airport is best practice. If you're flying today, make
- 8:10Speaker 7: sure that you're checking your flight status with your airline
- 8:13Speaker 7: because there is still back up from the winter storm
- 8:16Speaker 7: and from shortages of air traffic controllers as well. BNA
- 8:20Speaker 7: did have to shut down recently for a few hours
- 8:23Speaker 7: because they didn't have anybody to staff the control tower.
- 8:26Speaker 7: So keep all of that in mind because obviously that
- 8:28Speaker 7: makes an impact for quite a while. Check with your
- 8:31Speaker 7: airline before you head to the airport. Mrique Sanchez and
- 8:34Speaker 7: those are the three things you need to know.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Class is in Sessions Sacks fact on one river.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Well, what is the longest a human can hold their
- 8:44Speaker 5: breath underwater? You may ask, Don't worry, Professor Woodward has
- 8:47Speaker 5: an answer.
- 8:47Speaker 3: For Professor Oh my god.
- 8:51Speaker 5: So apparently there's a world record for breath holding underwater
- 8:55Speaker 5: with a time of twenty four minutes and thirty seven flying. No,
- 8:59Speaker 5: it happened in March twenty seventh at twenty twenty one
- 9:01Speaker 5: in Croatia, and it with twenty four minutes and thirty
- 9:04Speaker 5: seven seconds, while the average human can only hold their
- 9:07Speaker 5: breath for thirty to ninety seconds.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Oh my goodness. I feel like that had to be
- 9:11Speaker 2: like David Blaine or something.
- 9:12Speaker 4: It's absolutely insane, is what I'll say it is.
- 9:14Speaker 7: I think when I was a kid, we we used
- 9:16Speaker 7: to obviously time each other. My brother and I like
- 9:18Speaker 7: who count hold their breath alongest and on kid timing,
- 9:22Speaker 7: I got to like forty five seconds. Yeah, which kid
- 9:25Speaker 7: timing is probably more like twenty seconds.
- 9:28Speaker 4: It felt like forever.
- 9:29Speaker 2: That's a crazy stad Zaich.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Yeah, there's your fact of the day.
- 9:32Speaker 6: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the River.
- 9:37Speaker 7: If you are a business or a person who works
- 9:40Speaker 7: for like a restaurant or a shop here in Middle Tennessee,
- 9:44Speaker 7: we want to hear from you if you're open today,
- 9:46Speaker 7: because we're trying to support everybody that's opening.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah, get the word out if you guys are up
- 9:51Speaker 2: and run, and if business is back, because not only
- 9:54Speaker 2: do we want to help your business, but we want
- 9:56Speaker 2: to help people that might need a place to go,
- 9:58Speaker 2: stay warm, charge some stuff, you know, all those reasons.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Absolutely, it's important.
- 10:02Speaker 7: Obviously a lot of places have lost a lot of
- 10:04Speaker 7: money over the weekend and continue to because they don't have.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Power right now.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Six one five, seven, three seven nine, one oh seven.
- 10:11Speaker 2: If you are open, or if you know a business that's.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Open, let us know one O seven five the River, Ricky,
- 10:18Speaker 1: Zach and Minnow in the morning.
- 10:19Speaker 7: We're trying to find out some businesses who are open
- 10:22Speaker 7: today for you to support, because obviously through the snowstorm,
- 10:24Speaker 7: a lot of places had to close because of power
- 10:26Speaker 7: outages and because of ice. So a lot of people
- 10:30Speaker 7: are missing out on money right now. We need to
- 10:32Speaker 7: support our local businesses. We got our friend Bo on
- 10:34Speaker 7: the line. Bo, you have a place that's open today?
- 10:37Speaker 1: Yes, I do, the Elson Place Soda Shop.
- 10:39Speaker 4: We'll be open today nine.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Am to three pm. We'll have warm coffee, breakfast, burgers
- 10:44Speaker 1: and froze.
- 10:45Speaker 2: And uh yeah, nine am to three pm today.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 5: I'm not gonna lie if you've never been to the
- 10:49Speaker 5: Ellison Place Soda Shop. The best burgers in town. Like,
- 10:52Speaker 5: I'm craving one right now.
- 10:54Speaker 2: They're so good and their milkshakes are not too shabby.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Shaking my kids there before.
- 10:59Speaker 8: Absolutely will have today.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Awesome both.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Thank you so much for letting us know everybody goes
- 11:04Speaker 7: support obviously, this is important.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Bo.
- 11:07Speaker 7: Thank you for you know, getting out there, because I
- 11:09Speaker 7: know some places are still really rough right now.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Thank you y'all. We love the river, appreciate it.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Have a great day you too.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Bye bye.
- 11:17Speaker 2: We're building a whole list over here, so thanks to
- 11:19Speaker 2: everybody for reaching out. This is great. I want to
- 11:21Speaker 2: say that the Ladybird Taco in East Nashville is open,
- 11:25Speaker 2: as is the Gulch location today. They opened at eight am.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I repeat Ladybird Taco in East Nashville and the gould
- 11:31Speaker 2: Favorite spot is my favorite. The twelve South location I
- 11:34Speaker 2: believe will be closed today. I know a lot of
- 11:36Speaker 2: folks over there still dealing with power outages.
- 11:38Speaker 7: There are a lot of other places that are open
- 11:40Speaker 7: and also just so you know, a lot of these
- 11:41Speaker 7: were opened yesterday for you to support. We're hoping that
- 11:44Speaker 7: they're also going to be open today. It's still pretty
- 11:46Speaker 7: early in the morning, but Pizza Hut on West End
- 11:48Speaker 7: Avenue has been opened. They've been just slinging pizzas for
- 11:51Speaker 7: everybody there. Sunflower Bakehouse was opened yesterday. Vui's in all locations.
- 11:57Speaker 3: You also love that spot.
- 11:58Speaker 7: keV Point Dex Pink Door Cookies I saw opened yesterday
- 12:03Speaker 7: and are making do with what they can without any
- 12:06Speaker 7: delivery services.
- 12:07Speaker 3: That's something to keep in mind.
- 12:08Speaker 7: A lot of delivery services have been down for the
- 12:10Speaker 7: count for the last few days, so there are also
- 12:13Speaker 7: a lot of delivery people who are missing out on
- 12:14Speaker 7: money right now as well because of the ice and snow.
- 12:17Speaker 5: I also want to give a shout out to our
- 12:18Speaker 5: friends at Tailgate because they've been opened their Germantown location.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Their HQ and West Nashville.
- 12:25Speaker 5: Like they have multiple locations all over Nashville, and they
- 12:27Speaker 5: have some of the best pizza in town and they're
- 12:28Speaker 5: like locally owned.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Love them. They're open with warm pizza, beer, Gotta do
- 12:32Speaker 4: what you gotta.
- 12:33Speaker 7: Do, Family Tacos off Charlotte av Benji's Bagels.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Graham's Garage has been open the last few days.
- 12:39Speaker 7: They've been trying to open early as well to make
- 12:41Speaker 7: sure that you can come in, get warm, charge up
- 12:43Speaker 7: your phones, things like that. A lot of local spots
- 12:46Speaker 7: are trying to do that if they can a lot
- 12:48Speaker 7: of local spots also have like discounts going for anybody
- 12:51Speaker 7: who is here locally so that they can get some
- 12:54Speaker 7: food in their bellies.
- 12:55Speaker 3: If you don't have any power.
- 12:56Speaker 7: This is so important both ways, right for the businesses
- 12:59Speaker 7: because the this is need to keep running here in Nashville,
- 13:01Speaker 7: and also for you if you don't have any power,
- 13:04Speaker 7: it's nice to know the places that you can go
- 13:06Speaker 7: to warm up, get a warm meal, charge your phones
- 13:08Speaker 7: and your laptops, things like that.
- 13:10Speaker 3: We will continue to keep you updated.
- 13:12Speaker 7: I've been posting on one oh seven five the River
- 13:15Speaker 7: a logo of asking you know, are you open today?
- 13:18Speaker 7: So if you're looking for places that are open, I'm
- 13:20Speaker 7: gonna post that again today.
- 13:21Speaker 3: You can keep your eye out on that.
- 13:23Speaker 7: And if you are open or you're headed to work
- 13:25Speaker 7: right now at a restaurant or a shop, let us
- 13:28Speaker 7: know six one five, seven, three seven nine one oh
- 13:30Speaker 7: seven one o seven.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Five the River, Ricky, Zach and Minnow in the morning.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Anna is on the line. She's headed into Murphy's Borough.
- 13:37Speaker 2: We've been building this list of local places that are
- 13:40Speaker 2: open today, not only to get them the business, but
- 13:43Speaker 2: also to help some people get warm, charge their phones,
- 13:46Speaker 2: do what they have to do. Uh Anna, what business
- 13:48Speaker 2: are we talking about.
- 13:49Speaker 8: It's not exactly low like locally owned, but Barnes and Noble.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Okay, great, So I'm the man frown.
- 13:55Speaker 8: There will be open today, and I believe the Brentwood
- 13:58Speaker 8: location will be open. Warm books and coffee for food
- 14:02Speaker 8: there too. He doesn't love a good book on a
- 14:04Speaker 8: really coold day.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Honestly, I feel like this is great.
- 14:07Speaker 5: Go warm up, charge your phone, read a book like
- 14:09Speaker 5: relax for a minute and the warmth.
- 14:11Speaker 4: This is a really good idea.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Anna.
- 14:13Speaker 8: I just want people to know that it's a good
- 14:14Speaker 8: place to go. I was without power for a while
- 14:17Speaker 8: here in Nashville, so I know I would have appreciated it.
- 14:21Speaker 3: And I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have power
- 14:23Speaker 3: you got it back.
- 14:24Speaker 8: Though we did.
- 14:25Speaker 4: We did.
- 14:25Speaker 8: We we got like, we have a fireplace, so we
- 14:27Speaker 8: were able to kind of.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Keep warm until Okay, it's been so scary with the
- 14:31Speaker 7: amount of people that still don't have power and with
- 14:33Speaker 7: how cold it's been. But we're happy to hear that
- 14:35Speaker 7: you got power back and that you were safe and warm.
- 14:38Speaker 8: Yeah, we were safe and worm. And I still have
- 14:40Speaker 8: friends who are without power and they're just making accommodations
- 14:44Speaker 8: as they can.
- 14:45Speaker 2: You gotta do what you gotta do.
- 14:46Speaker 8: It's still going on.
- 14:47Speaker 2: I'm sure you guys normally have you know, policies against
- 14:49Speaker 2: just like lounging and reading a book for too long.
- 14:51Speaker 2: But if somebody wanted to come in there and just
- 14:53Speaker 2: get lost in books all day, is that okay?
- 14:55Speaker 8: Literally, you could be the opening.
- 15:00Speaker 7: Thank you so much for letting us know, Anna, for
- 15:02Speaker 7: letting everybody else know that there is a safe space
- 15:04Speaker 7: for them to go.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yeah, we hope you have a great day, all right.
- 15:08Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 15:08Speaker 5: You guys, I've never wanted to go to Barnes and
- 15:13Speaker 5: Noble more in my life.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yeah, she was very sweet.
- 15:16Speaker 3: And it sounds so sweet. So there's another place for.
- 15:18Speaker 4: You to go.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I worked at a bookstore in high school. I would
- 15:21Speaker 2: get there before it opened to, like, you know, clean
- 15:23Speaker 2: up the shelves and everything. One of my favorite jobs
- 15:25Speaker 2: of all time. I loved it.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Well, that makes sense to me because Kevin loves to clean.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I love I mean, honestly, truly.
- 15:30Speaker 3: He doesn't really do well in the quiet though. The
- 15:32Speaker 3: calm no, I.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Think I had headphones. I was listening to stuff that
- 15:36Speaker 2: makes so much more sense.
- 15:38Speaker 7: Just a heads up, make sure you're following at one
- 15:39Speaker 7: O seven five The River's Instagram page. There have been

- 16:45Speaker 2: You need to get three out of five of them
- 16:48Speaker 2: right in order to get these tickets. Okay, okay, we
- 16:50Speaker 2: normally do two out of three. This time it's three
- 16:52Speaker 2: out of five. Devin, Your game starts right now. Devin,

- 17:43Speaker 4: You win, Devon.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Here we go, Devon and Charlotte. Would you say that
- 17:47Speaker 2: you are a morning person or a night person?

- 18:04Speaker 3: You did such a good job.
- 18:06Speaker 2: We figured nobody needs more stress. This week. We're just

- 18:16Speaker 7: You are so welcome. Congratulations again. Hang on the line, Okay,
- 18:20Speaker 7: we gotta get your info.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I thank you.
- 18:21Speaker 7: I I know I didn't know if he was gonna
- 18:24Speaker 7: pull it out or not.
- 18:25Speaker 2: But play it again tomorrow. Sure thing is the name
- 18:28Speaker 2: of the game, and now you understand why. Three things
- 18:31Speaker 2: you need to know. Well, thank you so much for
- 18:33Speaker 2: starting this Wednesday morning with us. It's just after eight
- 18:36Speaker 2: o'clock and Ricky's got those three things.
- 18:38Speaker 7: National waste services are suspended again today due to the
- 18:41Speaker 7: weather and ice. Trash and recycling services have been suspended today.
- 18:45Speaker 7: Convenience centers are open with modified hours of eight am
- 18:48Speaker 7: to three thirty pm, and they will be free of
- 18:51Speaker 7: charge for drop off all week long. You can bring
- 18:53Speaker 7: household garbage and recycling to one of their convenience centers
- 18:57Speaker 7: for no charge. So they're evaluating daily to see when
- 19:00Speaker 7: they can resume services. I will keep you updated, but
- 19:03Speaker 7: they are also keeping everybody updated on their social media
- 19:06Speaker 7: as well as to when services will resume. Season four
- 19:11Speaker 7: of Ted Lasso gets a summer release window, so Apple
- 19:15Speaker 7: TV has confirmed that Ted Lasso is going to officially
- 19:17Speaker 7: return this summer.
- 19:19Speaker 3: The new season will see Ted taking.
- 19:21Speaker 7: On a new challenge because he's going to be coaching
- 19:23Speaker 7: a second division women's football team. According to the synopsis quote,
- 19:27Speaker 7: Ted and the team learned to leap before they look,
- 19:30Speaker 7: taking chances that they never thought they would. Much of
- 19:33Speaker 7: the core casts are all going to be back with
- 19:36Speaker 7: several new editions. The current season is in production right
- 19:39Speaker 7: now so or the next season is currently in production
- 19:42Speaker 7: right now, so we can expect it. Like they said,
- 19:44Speaker 7: this summer, very exciting stuff for anybody who loves ted
- 19:47Speaker 7: Lasso and KFC debuted jelly beans that taste like fried chicken.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Okay, yep, limited edition jelly beans.
- 19:58Speaker 7: They're savory because they're inspiredired by KFC's menu, so they're
- 20:01Speaker 7: gonna have sweet corn, fried chicken, and gravy flavored jelly beans.
- 20:05Speaker 7: They're already available online through Amazon. They're sold out on
- 20:09Speaker 7: Frankfurt Candy dot com that's who they collabed with on this,
- 20:12Speaker 7: but a wider rollout is expected around Easter.
- 20:14Speaker 3: I bought some off Amazon so that we can try them.
- 20:17Speaker 5: Okay, they sound better than being bean boozled, like I
- 20:19Speaker 5: don't want to taste not.
- 20:21Speaker 4: That sounds way better.
- 20:22Speaker 3: So I bought them off Amazon.
- 20:23Speaker 7: They're not going to come in for a few weeks though,
- 20:25Speaker 7: because they are apparently back ordered and everybody wants to
- 20:28Speaker 7: try them. So once they come in, we will try
- 20:31Speaker 7: them live on air.
- 20:32Speaker 3: To see what they taste like. I'm excited, Sanchez, and
- 20:36Speaker 3: those are the three things you need to know.
- 20:37Speaker 2: I don't want any part of that whatsoever. Zero disgusting
- 20:46Speaker 2: and I don't like taking any chances. I also don't
- 20:48Speaker 2: really eat much sugar. But thanks Ricky, Oh my god, are.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and mannow in the morning.
- 20:57Speaker 2: The song is fussing on Thomas. It's one of seven
- 21:01Speaker 2: to five the river. Gen Alpha slang is what we're
- 21:04Speaker 2: talking about. We're all getting older, all of us. Everybody
- 21:07Speaker 2: that can hear my voice every day.
- 21:09Speaker 7: All millennials, different ages of millennials.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, and this new generation Jen Alpha. They've got their
- 21:15Speaker 2: own way of speaking. And my kids are right there.
- 21:17Speaker 2: They say Sigma a lot as well, which I guess
- 21:20Speaker 2: is just like being like a confident person. You're a Sigma.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Oh oh, okay, so you're learning from me though, you're
- 21:26Speaker 4: so sigma keV. Thank you.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Well.
- 21:30Speaker 7: It's not on this list that I have in front
- 21:32Speaker 7: of me, but I do have a list of different
- 21:34Speaker 7: Gen Alpha words and slang for us to kind of
- 21:38Speaker 7: know what the heck is going on, because every generation
- 21:40Speaker 7: has their own slang. We had slang, even Kevin as
- 21:43Speaker 7: a millennial and us as a millennial.
- 21:45Speaker 3: You had different slang than we did growing up. Everybody's
- 21:48Speaker 3: got it.
- 21:48Speaker 4: So favorite one with Yolo, Yeah, that was such a thing.
- 21:55Speaker 7: Okay, So here are a few of them. Four plus four.
- 21:58Speaker 7: That is a phrase that they use a lot, and
- 22:00Speaker 7: it means eight, as in, like, you know the number
- 22:03Speaker 7: eight four plus floor is eight, but like you eight,
- 22:05Speaker 7: which means tach something really well, or like, your outfit
- 22:09Speaker 7: looks really cool. If you say you ate that outfit,
- 22:12Speaker 7: it means you're killing it.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Oh ricky, that outfit is so four plus four.
- 22:18Speaker 8: Chopped.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Chopped is another one. This one's mean. It means ugly.
- 22:22Speaker 7: Oh okay, So if your outfit doesn't look good, it's chopped.
- 22:27Speaker 2: If anybody called you chopped, I disagree you were four
- 22:29Speaker 2: plus four.
- 22:31Speaker 7: Yeah that made you sound like such a dad, but
- 22:34Speaker 7: I agree with you. Yes, Kevin, choppel Ganger is a
- 22:37Speaker 7: huge one. I keep seeing this all over the place.
- 22:39Speaker 7: So you're taking chopped, which means ugly, and then doppelganger
- 22:43Speaker 7: and putting it together. So it's someone who looks like
- 22:45Speaker 7: another person but worse.
- 22:48Speaker 5: Really mean almost like a not as not as attractive
- 22:51Speaker 5: version of a celebrity is a choppel Gang version.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Yeah, with our version is like we would say, like, oh,
- 22:57Speaker 3: that's a Walmart version.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I don't like the negativity, but I really like the creativity.
- 23:03Speaker 7: I agree, and every generation's had their mean parts. You
- 23:06Speaker 7: grow up to learn that, like you're kind of just
- 23:09Speaker 7: mean and you should stop clock. That is another one,
- 23:12Speaker 7: which means like you understand or agree. There's a lot
- 23:16Speaker 7: of really weird like HTN higher TI your normies, which
- 23:21Speaker 7: is like a fairly good looking guy.
- 23:23Speaker 3: There's weird stuff on here, like Twin.
- 23:26Speaker 7: I like Twin though. That's my favorite one. It means
- 23:28Speaker 7: you're bestie.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Oh okay, I I love you.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Guys. Heard of low kinuinely low kinuinely.
- 23:36Speaker 5: It's like low key and genuinely so it means like
- 23:39Speaker 5: genuinely or literally get in a subtle, understated manner.
- 23:44Speaker 3: That seems like a lot.
- 23:45Speaker 5: It's a lot to my mind around So you would
- 23:47Speaker 5: say like that is low ginuinely insane.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Do I sound old by saying that makes no sense
- 23:55Speaker 3: to me?
- 23:56Speaker 2: I mean yeah, but I mean it was inevitable. We
- 23:58Speaker 2: all get to that point.
- 24:00Speaker 3: But like some of them.
- 24:01Speaker 7: I like, like I said, Twin is cool. I also
- 24:03Speaker 7: I say it all the time. We're so back. It's
- 24:05Speaker 7: like the opposite of it's over, like we're so bad,
- 24:07Speaker 7: so back, We're so back Like today, guys, we're so
- 24:10Speaker 7: back we're in studio cool. We're making it work. We're
- 24:13Speaker 7: doing giveaways on the River. This is today for the
- 24:15Speaker 7: rest of the week, like we're so back.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Yeah we are four plus four and right now.
- 24:19Speaker 6: We hate Ricky, Zach and Menno.
- 24:22Speaker 4: In the morning on We're about to.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Play you something really beautiful on one oh.
- 24:27Speaker 7: Seven five of the River. It's our daily double tap today.
- 24:30Speaker 7: It's Lady Gaga singing won't you be My Neighbor? So,
- 24:33Speaker 7: if you ever watched Mister Rogers, you're gonna love this.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Honestly, Lady Gaga never misses. It's so beautiful.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I want to add two things. If you ever watched
- 24:42Speaker 2: mister Rogers or Daniel Tiger, which is a more recent
- 24:46Speaker 2: version of no clue what that is from the Mister
- 24:48Speaker 2: Rogers universe. I think they had the same theme talking.
- 24:51Speaker 2: And this is from a super Bowl commercial. One upcoming
- 24:53Speaker 2: super Bowl commercial is an early peak at one of those,
- 24:56Speaker 2: and I have a feeling a lot of people will
- 24:57Speaker 2: be talking about this one. It's today's daily double tap.
- 25:00Speaker 1: It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, beautiful day for
- 25:05Speaker 1: a neighbor.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Would you be mine? Could you be mine?
- 25:13Speaker 1: It's a neighborly day and this beauty wood and neighborly
- 25:17Speaker 1: day for a beauty Would you be mine?
- 25:22Speaker 7: Why do I want to cry because it makes me
- 25:25Speaker 7: so emotional goosebumps.
- 25:26Speaker 5: I mean, mister Rogers was number one our childhood. I
- 25:29Speaker 5: loved that so much growing up and now hearing one
- 25:32Speaker 5: of my icons, Lady Goda singing it so beautifully.
- 25:35Speaker 4: It literally, it's just it's amazing.
- 25:37Speaker 7: It's also like what it stands for, which is like
- 25:39Speaker 7: community and kindness.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Loving each other. And you know, we need a lot.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Of We've lost a bit of that. Yeah, yeah, we
- 25:47Speaker 2: need a back. That's great. You guys really don't know,
- 25:49Speaker 2: Daniel Tiger.
- 25:50Speaker 3: No clue what you're talking about.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I know it's me, Daniel Tiger. Will you help brush
- 25:55Speaker 2: my teeth?
- 25:55Speaker 3: And neither of us have kids? Why would we know
- 25:57Speaker 3: what that is?
- 25:58Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 25:59Speaker 4: You could do this all day long and it still
- 26:01Speaker 4: would not ring a bell.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Help me put my pajamas on?
- 26:05Speaker 4: All right?
- 26:05Speaker 3: I could rather not.
- 26:09Speaker 2: We're gonna post the video. Today's daily double tab goes
- 26:12Speaker 2: up on our Instagram stories at one O seven five
- 26:14Speaker 1: The River, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning on
- 26:17Speaker 1: one oh seven five, the river
