- 0:10Good morning. It's Wednesday, September 30th,
- 0:132026. This is DeProgram with Ted Rall and
- 0:16Jamarl Thomas. Thank you for joining us. We're
- 0:19going to break down news and current events for
- 0:21the day. Wait, are we on? I don't see us. We're
- 0:25not? Let's see. I don't see us. I'm seeing us
- 0:29on YouTube. 32 people. Let's see. There we are.
- 0:34There we are. Oh, okay. Yeah. Sometimes it stays.
- 0:40Yeah. I have to take it out. And otherwise you
- 0:43get a black screen. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Thank
- 0:48you. All right. Good. Good game. Thank you. Yeah.
- 0:51And yeah, Rumble Studios is hinky sometimes.
- 0:53So anyway, thanks for joining us. We're here
- 0:56today because it's Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m.,
- 1:01which means you get two full hours with us. The
- 1:04second hour will be dedicated to the Q&A. All
- 1:07right, let's get into what we're talking about
- 1:08today. Among other things, and among what you're
- 1:11talking about, caving into Zionists, Mayor Mamdani
- 1:15has released a report claiming that American
- 1:19Jews are victimized by a rise in anti-Semitism.
- 1:23I did a deep dive. There was no such thing. There's
- 1:26no data. It's completely made up. The Cornell
- 1:30rape case, we'll be talking about that, the alleged
- 1:33gang rape case and the complications in that.
- 1:36And I have some, not personal, but I have some
- 1:41insight in that a similar case took place when
- 1:43I was in college at Columbia University. This
- 1:46is a funny story about Trump. He tried to loot
- 1:50hundreds of millions of dollars of Venezuelan
- 1:52gold. But basically, leave it to Donald Trump
- 1:56to end up screwing up to the point where the
- 1:58gold can't be used. He literally has the most
- 2:02worthless gold in the world. We'll talk about
- 2:04that. The U.S. Supreme Court is allowing Trump
- 2:08to resume sending, deporting immigrants to countries
- 2:12that they have no association or relation to
- 2:15whatsoever. But that's temporary until they rule
- 2:18permanently. ICE is hiring another 5,000 mooks.
- 2:22And the Trump administration is going to add
- 2:24a citizenship question, seems innocuous enough,
- 2:28on the Form 1040, which is the form that Americans
- 2:31fill out their tax returns on. A lot to get into.
- 2:35And that's not even getting into the weird Emirati
- 2:37plane and a bunch of other stuff. So good morning,
- 2:41Jamarl. Thanks. Always good to see you. Always
- 2:44good to see you, too. What's the Emirati plane
- 2:46thing? So Emirates Airlines has a discount carrier
- 2:53called flydubai. And apparently, there was a
- 2:57flight en route from the UAE to Israel, of all
- 3:02places. Apparently, there was a kerfuffle between
- 3:08the pilot and co-pilot. They got into it, and
- 3:11they were mixing it up with fisticuffs in the
- 3:13cockpit. Fell 17,000 feet, terrorizing the passengers
- 3:19aboard. Fortunately, it didn't crash. They were
- 3:22forced to divert to Saudi Arabia. The Saudis
- 3:27were, of course, displeased. And so
- 3:33the question now is what the hell were these
- 3:35two arguing about? And I keep
- 3:38thinking about the case of that plane, that
- 3:41German pilot who basically flew a
- 3:44plane into the Alps just because he wasn't feeling
- 3:46happy about his life. Say, hey, dude, kill yourself.
- 3:50But really, do you have to take the
- 3:51rest of us with you? Yeah, it's always such a
- 3:54trash move. It just is, right? It's
- 3:59sorry. It is. I'm sorry that everybody who's
- 4:01on this plane is going to die with me. It's
- 4:03why? Why do they have to die with me? You could
- 4:06have eaten your gun. He could jump off a bridge.
- 4:09Nothing wrong with it. It's a dramatic death.
- 4:12No, it's not. It's very dramatic and really not
- 4:16cool. And totally, if there's
- 4:20an afterlife, people are going to be
- 4:22giving him shit for that. So, yeah, these two,
- 4:26they're going to try to figure it out.
- 4:29I have to admit that my first thought was,
- 4:31maybe they were arguing about Israel because
- 4:33they were on their way to Israel. They're two
- 4:35Arab pilots. Maybe they were, we shouldn't
- 4:38be flying to Israel or fuck Israel if they got
- 4:40into it. And they were having a little micro
- 4:42fight about Zionism versus anti-Semitism. And
- 4:46one thing led to another. They're punching each
- 4:48other in the cockpit. By the way, this would
- 4:50be an argument for how a lot of planes, a lot
- 4:53of airlines, they used to have a third and fourth
- 4:56person routinely in the cockpit, right? There
- 4:59was a navigator and there was an assistant, assistant
- 5:02pilot, a co-pilot, right? There are probably
- 5:04people watching and listening who
- 5:07know more about this. But there used to be,
- 5:09now it's not uncommon for there to
- 5:11just be two people in the cockpit at any given
- 5:13time. It's not a bad thing to have a third and
- 5:17a fourth just because. And obviously
- 5:20they just want to cut costs. But
- 5:22I would think in a situation like this, it would
- 5:24have been nice to have someone, hey,
- 5:27you two assholes, cut it out. People are professionals.
- 5:32One would hope. Yeah, yeah. Well, there's also that.
- 5:34There's the Malaysian flight too, right? It
- 5:37seems to me there were all sorts
- 5:38of dark conspiracies, it was diverted to
- 5:41Kazakhstan or whatever, but look, the
- 5:44plane did go into the Indian Ocean. We know that.
- 5:46And parts of it washed ashore in the middle.
- 5:50I was at Île de la Réunion, right, the French. How
- 5:53do you know it wasn't sucked into a black hole
- 5:55like Don Lemon hypothesized? That could
- 5:58have happened. Well, if so, the black hole didn't
- 6:02take the tail or part of the wing. Maybe it was
- 6:07taking lessons from Trump or he was just incompetent.
- 6:11Oh, you're talking about Malaysian flight, what
- 6:13is it, 1-0 something? Yeah. Because
- 6:16there's conspiracy theories about that. Lots
- 6:18of them, yeah. But look, the plane was... Plane
- 6:22and stuff like that. But wreckage was washed
- 6:24ashore in the Réunion and other places, right?
- 6:26So we know it went into the Indian Ocean. We
- 6:29just don't know why. It could have been
- 6:31anything, right? It could have been one of those
- 6:32things. Remember the golfer who gas-filled up
- 6:35his plane and then he basically passed out and
- 6:38just ran out of fuel and that was the end of
- 6:40it? That can happen on a commercial jet. There's
- 6:45also a possibility that the guy committed suicide,
- 6:48right? Same sort of thing. Yeah. It's, if
- 6:52you want to do it, do it by yourself. Don't take
- 6:53other people with you. Oh, by the way, Marine
- 6:56Le Pen. I was looking at, I was covering, I had
- 7:00a European guest today that covered European
- 7:02politics. And we were going into, well, we didn't
- 7:06get into Marine Le Pen. I figured I'd get into
- 7:08that with you. She, her party, National Rally,
- 7:13apparently has won some kind of honors or electoral
- 7:16advancement. But it seems that they're going
- 7:20after Jordan Bardella on some kind of anti-Semitic
- 7:22comments, quote unquote, that he supposedly made
- 7:25at some point. It seems like this is the angle
- 7:28to which they're trying to attack the party.
- 7:32It's interesting, right? Look,
- 7:37she looks like a shoo-in, which puts a big fat
- 7:41target on her back. Yes, it does. In a big way.
- 7:44By the way, following up that story about the
- 7:47Spanish. To strike the Spanish sit-ins in Madrid.
- 7:51That seems to have been resolved in a way that
- 7:54only a European country could get things done
- 7:58in a way that Americans can't. First of all,
- 8:00the company that evicted her decided to let her
- 8:05back in. They gave her a new lease, which is
- 8:08actually less than she was paying originally
- 8:10for the next eight years. She's 87 years old,
- 8:13so hopefully she'll live another eight years.
- 8:15But anyway, that should cover her for a while.
- 8:17So she'll be paying about $460. Everybody's happy.
- 8:21And the Spanish government is going to jam through
- 8:25a giant package to try to provide financial
- 8:30relief to distressed renters and other people
- 8:34who are suffering from inflation in
- 8:36Spain. So they protested and the protests made
- 8:40gains. Yeah. Yeah. And also take note, lefties, this
- 8:45was not a protest that was held every four months
- 8:47weather allowing on Saturdays. This was a
- 8:50protest that greatly inconvenienced the
- 8:53powers that be, right? They took over a public
- 8:56square in the country, in the nation's
- 8:59capital. They were there several days in a row.
- 9:02They went into the week, into the work week, and
- 9:05that's when things, that's when the Spanish
- 9:08parliament got serious and took care of it.
- 9:11I think that would happen here if
- 9:14you had similar
- 9:17resolve on the part. BLM was every day
- 9:20and it made a difference until it didn't, right?
- 9:23But that's the thing too. You always have
- 9:25to hold the elite's feet
- 9:28to the fire in that. It doesn't
- 9:30you don't win and then go away and then it stays
- 9:33won. Victories have to be protected, fought
- 9:36for. It's a constant struggle because the oppressors,
- 9:39they work 24/7, 7 days a week, 365 days a year,
- 9:43and you better too if you want to take them on.
- 9:46I don't know what Black BLM got though. What did
- 9:49they get? Well, temporarily, right? They
- 9:52got body cameras. They were supposed
- 9:56to defund the police in cities like Minneapolis.
- 9:58They were on the right track. And then
- 10:01they stopped holding the elite's feet to the
- 10:04fire. And in fairness to BLM, the lockdown came
- 10:08to an end and people had to go back to work in
- 10:10offices and stuff. And that was the end of that.
- 10:14They didn't get anything in the long run, but
- 10:16there were going to be concessions. Yeah. If
- 10:25that's true, then we have no excuse for anything.
- 10:29There is no excuse for anything. We don't do
- 10:32shit. Look, every gain in this
- 10:35country, right: civil rights,
- 10:39feminism, gay rights, rights for the
- 10:43disabled, everything, abolitionism,
- 10:48it all, women's suffrage, it all came
- 10:52as the result of sustained, aggressive
- 10:56political agitation. And it involved, in some
- 11:00cases, violence and nonviolence. The
- 11:03suffragettes were violent. People forget
- 11:05that. It's at a certain point,
- 11:09husbands were worried that their wives were going
- 11:11to poison them or stab them to death while
- 11:14they were sleeping. It was
- 11:16just that's how
- 11:19it works. And for the last 50 years, we've forgotten
- 11:23how to do that. Yeah. Why do you think we forgot
- 11:26how to do that? I rack my brain. I don't know.
- 11:30I've racked my brain about that over and over.
- 11:32Spain didn't forget. France didn't forget. None
- 11:35of those countries forget. So it's not a technological
- 11:38difference. It's not
- 11:40they're all watching TV or they're
- 11:42all, they have TV. They have
- 11:45the same distractions we do, so I don't
- 11:49get it. The closest. I don't know.
- 11:54I'll say one thing. What they don't do
- 11:56in those tactically, one thing that they do not
- 11:59do in European countries is have this peace
- 12:02police kind of mentality where, for
- 12:05people who don't know, if you go to a lefty protest
- 12:07in the U.S., they will have the peace police,
- 12:10which is a group of protesters who will prevent
- 12:14any more aggressive, Black Bloc type
- 12:18people from mixing it up with the police or throwing
- 12:21stuff at them. And they basically, they're trying
- 12:25to keep things nonviolent, even to the point
- 12:27of doing the cop's job for them by ejecting the
- 12:31more aggressive factions of their own movement.
- 12:35Yeah, that's kind of the point. You've got to
- 12:39have the whole thing, right? There's
- 12:41nothing wrong with nonviolence. I have this debate
- 12:44all the time with my friend David Swanson. But
- 12:47nonviolence is a crucial part of political change.
- 12:52But there's got to be either violence or the
- 12:54credible threat of violence to close the deal.
- 12:57Otherwise, the elites don't give anything up.
- 13:00The Martin Luther King, Malcolm X thing. You
- 13:02need both. Both were necessary. It's
- 13:06hey, you want to carry the stick Malcolm X is
- 13:08talking about, armed rebellion and revolution.
- 13:11Martin Luther King is talking about peace. Which
- 13:12one do you want? And they're like, yeah, let's take
- 13:14the peacenik. Yeah, yeah, we'll take that. We'll
- 13:17take that one. Yeah, we'll take that one. We don't
- 13:19want that one, right? We like that one. It's that
- 13:23one scares us. That's part of the issue, right?
- 13:26It's you're having these protests and it's
- 13:29everybody be quiet, everybody be calm, everybody
- 13:32be blah blah blah. Okay, nobody cares. Yeah, nobody
- 13:36cares. Nobody cares about your King's protests.
- 13:39Nobody does. It's not even an inconvenience,
- 13:41right? No, I agree with you on this.
- 13:45I put a clip in the thing of Ro Khanna. I don't
- 13:50know if you saw this clip with Ro Khanna having
- 13:52a conversation and they asked Ro Khanna if Iran
- 13:55has a right to self-defense. And Ro Khanna effectively
- 13:59says yes, and then effectively says no. And then
- 14:03even the host is like, I'm not trying to condone
- 14:05violence. And it's what do you mean you're
- 14:07not trying to condone violence? They're literally
- 14:09being militarily attacked. Whether people are
- 14:11being killed, violence is already happening.
- 14:14It's justified violence. And yet they still can't
- 14:19bring themselves to say it's justified violence.
- 14:22And also they can't bring themselves to shut
- 14:24up about Israel, about Iran not being
- 14:27allowed to develop a nuclear weapon. It's
- 14:31you can think that you can just think,
- 14:33I don't want nuclear proliferation or I don't
- 14:35think Iran can be trusted. I don't think those
- 14:37things. But you're allowed to think
- 14:40those things. But if you are playing the
- 14:43role of a progressive Democrat or a real liberal,
- 14:46you should just leave that talking point
- 14:48to the right-wingers and just let them have
- 14:51it and just focus on the injustice of the war
- 14:54and the violence that it's causing and the inconvenience
- 14:57that it's causing here in the U.S. to consumers.
- 15:00They can't do that. And in fact, Ro Khanna can't
- 15:03even make the claim that I put the clip in. I
- 15:06don't know if you want to play the clip and we
- 15:09can get to it later if you want in the Q&A or
- 15:10something like that. But we can play it. Ro Khanna's
- 15:13answer. And he keeps getting himself in this
- 15:16situation. To his credit, Ro Khanna would go in
- 15:19interviews, to his credit and to his credit. He
- 15:22would talk up the Palestinian issue. More so
- 15:26than others. In fact, he even went to the West
- 15:28Bank. He was the one that the settlers looked
- 15:30like they were going to injure at one point,
- 15:32but basically kept him from going the way he
- 15:35pleased. And yet he still gets stuck in these
- 15:38political thickets where what he's saying makes
- 15:41no sense. That's the clip. We can play it. Yeah,
- 15:45all right. Let it roll. Let's move to a simpler
- 15:50topic, Iran. So on Iran, I know that Iran was
- 15:58attacked by the U.S. and Israel twice. And I just
- 16:04want to ask you, do you think Iran has the right
- 16:07to defend itself? Well, any nation. Of course,
- 16:17under the UN Charter, every nation has a right
- 16:22to self-defense, but I do not believe that Iran
- 16:25has acted in compliance with international law.
- 16:31Now, I was opposed to the Iran war. I'm
- 16:34opposed to the war that we're waging, but I don't
- 16:39think Iran should be in any way attacking American
- 16:42military installations. What? Saudis or... I'm
- 16:46not going to... What the fuck? First of all,
- 16:51what's with the uh, uh, uh? It's the easiest
- 16:54question in the fucking world to answer. Do I
- 16:57like coffee in the morning? Yeah, I love it.
- 17:00Does Iran have a right to defend itself? Fuck
- 17:04yeah. It's fire hot. Yes. It's easy.
- 17:11All countries have the right to defend themselves.
- 17:14Especially if they're attacked. Well,
- 17:16that's what defense means, right? Not
- 17:18like the Israel thing, where if we
- 17:20our right to defend ourselves means that we get
- 17:22to start wars with all our neighbors all the
- 17:23time and kill the locals. That's not
- 17:26self-defense. But self-defense, yeah. And then,
- 17:29of course, oh, that means they don't have
- 17:31the right to attack U.S. military bases. The
- 17:34U.S. military bases, which are being used as
- 17:38launching pads against Iran where missiles
- 17:41are being fired from those bases at Iran and
- 17:45where those are supply depots for U.S.
- 17:48weapons being used against Iran. They have
- 17:51every right under international law to strike
- 17:53those bases. Every right. Yes. That response is
- 17:58insane. Or do you just not know it? What is
- 18:04it? He knows it and it's well they have a
- 18:07right to respond. Okay. But not against our military
- 18:10bases. Okay, so who should they respond to?
- 18:13Are you saying they should go after civilians?
- 18:15What are you saying? They should send a
- 18:17firmly worded letter? Yeah, it's so dumb. They
- 18:21should post on TikTok? What should they do? More
- 18:23Lego videos? For our Congress to come and stop
- 18:26the president from murdering our population.
- 18:29That's what they should do. He's out of his fucking
- 18:31mind. What, words are violence? He's out of his
- 18:32mind. He's an idiot. Words of violence. What
- 18:35you should do is send a letter. Say, we respectfully
- 18:38ask that you please stop attacking us. Pretty
- 18:42please with sugar on top. And if you don't, we're
- 18:46going to be required to reach out to the United
- 18:49Nations and ask them to condemn you, in which
- 18:52case you'll just simply veto it. Yeah. It's nonsense.
- 18:56This is the whole violence thing, right? They
- 18:59obviously had it right. And not just right. Well,
- 19:04they actually have a duty to their own people.
- 19:06They have a duty to kill as many U.S. service
- 19:09members and destroy as many bases and any other
- 19:12ships as possible. You kill your enemy, period.
- 19:16And they have a right to do it, considering we're
- 19:17the ones that attacked them, not the other way
- 19:19around. And Ro Khanna, for whatever particular
- 19:21reason, can say, yes, well, under international
- 19:24law, they have a right to defend themselves.
- 19:26But apparently they don't have the right to attack
- 19:29military bases that are doing the attacks. Let's
- 19:31keep rolling this bullshit. Let's do it. Because
- 19:35by the way, they're acting exactly what we're
- 19:37saying. It's interesting because if we're
- 19:41attacking if we're attacking
- 19:44their military installation, please for one second
- 19:47if we're attacking them and attacking their military
- 19:50installations and as you know there was, we also
- 19:52attacked civilian infrastructure and civilian.
- 19:54We attacked the monop school where 168
- 19:58young children and teachers were killed. We
- 20:02we've attacked a sports complex where young people
- 20:05were killed as well. So it's hard to reconcile
- 20:10the idea that they should not respond by attacking
- 20:15military bases because that's where the attacks
- 20:17are coming from. So I'm not condoning violence
- 20:20in any way, shape, or form. So whoever is watching
- 20:22this, that's not what this is about. But how
- 20:25do you justify saying that they have no right
- 20:31to attack U.S. military bases? Again, I'm not
- 20:34asking you to condone that. I'm just saying there's
- 20:37got to be a sense of justice here. And it seems
- 20:41like if we're going to attack them, them responding
- 20:45in self-defense makes sense from a world order
- 20:51perspective. I fundamentally believe that we
- 20:58shouldn't be in that war. And Thomas Massie and
- 21:00I led the effort to oppose the war. And I believe
- 21:03that the school shooting needs to be investigated.
- 21:06And if there are people who took that action
- 21:08with negligence, they need to be held accountable
- 21:12and prosecuted. My focus is ending the war. But
- 21:16the Iranian regime is a regime that has committed
- 21:19genuine human rights abuses with the IRGC and
- 21:23engaged in genuine acts in aiding terrorism.
- 21:27So I'm not going to apologize. I don't think the
- 21:30answer to that is to engage in regime change
- 21:33war, but I also don't think that we should
- 21:36be in any way condoning the Iranian regime
- 21:40which in my view is illegitimate in terms of
- 21:43the consent of its own people from a moral perspective
- 21:46and has killed dissidents and committed human
- 21:49rights violations nor should we be condoning
- 21:52them lashing out and attacking other nations.
- 21:56I just would not criticize our
- 22:00own government for starting the war. You're dumb.
- 22:06He's stupid and he's a weasel. He's not even
- 22:08good at being a weasel. This is a Sonali response.
- 22:12Yeah. It's not even a good Sonali response. No,
- 22:15Sonali would have done a better job. Yeah, she
- 22:18would have done a better job explaining this.
- 22:19He's trying to basically say, well, Iran
- 22:22is illegitimate. When the Ayatollah died and
- 22:25you had more people come to that funeral than
- 22:28any funeral in the history of funerals, that
- 22:30doesn't seem like an illegitimate government
- 22:32to me. Meaning it doesn't seem illegitimate,
- 22:35especially now with the overwhelming majority
- 22:37of the population backs its government against
- 22:40this criminal war that the United States initiated.
- 22:43This is fucking outrageous. We are out there
- 22:45murdering fishermen in Venezuela and we're still
- 22:47doing it, by the way. And he's like, well, they've
- 22:50committed terrorism. It's that's exactly
- 22:53what I'm saying. It's sort of
- 22:55look. I do DMZ with Scott
- 23:00Stantis. And before we got to be friends, we
- 23:03were enemies. And one of the reasons I was pissed
- 23:06off at him was he was the president of the Cartoonist
- 23:09Association. And I did a controversial cartoon.
- 23:12He was invited on Fox News to basically talk
- 23:15about cartooning. And so they went after him
- 23:19and said, would you have ever drawn that cartoon
- 23:20that Ted Rall drew? He should not have taken
- 23:23the bait. He should have been like, Ted Rall
- 23:25has the right to draw any fucking cartoon he
- 23:27wants. We have the First Amendment, free speech,
- 23:30shut the fuck up. Yeah, but that cartoon's outrageous.
- 23:33I don't give a shit what he drew. That's all
- 23:35he should have said, right? But he said, well,
- 23:37I wouldn't have drawn that cartoon. To his eternal
- 23:41credit, approached me and he was like, oh my
- 23:43God, I knew I fucked up the second I said it.
- 23:45I was really tired. I wasn't sharp.
- 23:47That can happen. And he was like,
- 23:50I apologize. I should have fucking
- 23:52I didn't do the thing. The whole point is a full-throated,
- 23:55if you're anti-war, then you're,
- 23:59if you're anti the Iran war, then be anti the
- 24:01Iran war. Don't be anti the Iran war, but also
- 24:04the Iranian government sucks and I wish they
- 24:07were overthrown. You're allowed to think
- 24:09that. You're really allowed to think that
- 24:12there's lots of people in Iran who don't like
- 24:14their government but that's not really the point
- 24:17here, is it? You can have a separate discussion
- 24:19about that at another time but this is the big
- 24:22topic here, right? And it's missing the point.
- 24:26And that's what I mean. And when you're
- 24:29giving, you don't see the pro-war people
- 24:33ever give quarter to the other side in that way.
- 24:36You're never going to see Republicans on Fox
- 24:38News. You're never going to see Sean Hannity
- 24:39say, well, I'm totally for the war
- 24:43and I think it's great that we're doing it, but
- 24:46really we should have laid off that school
- 24:48and we've been kind of sloppy in our targeting.
- 24:50No, they don't give any quarter at all, right?
- 24:53It's only the so-called fake lefties in this
- 24:56country that get to play progressives
- 24:58on TV who ever do that, right? The right-wingers,
- 25:02the Trumpies, the pre-Trump Republicans,
- 25:05none of them ever do that and it just drives
- 25:08me crazy. Yeah, it's aggravating to me. For
- 25:12one the answer makes no sense and he's caught
- 25:14in a contradiction immediately. Yeah. Do they have
- 25:17a right to stuff? Yes, but then, but whoa. What's
- 25:21his butt stuff? Well, I guess there could
- 25:23be a but like if they have nuclear weapons,
- 25:26I hope they don't use them. That could be a but.
- 25:29But even so, he shouldn't say that right now.
- 25:32It's not the point. Yeah. It's but I don't
- 25:36like their government. Well, they don't like
- 25:38yours either, right? Yeah, and our government
- 25:39sucks and everything that he accused the Iranian
- 25:42government of doing. And there's lots of legit
- 25:44criticisms to be made of the Iranian government.
- 25:46But we're worse. Okay. Yeah. And all the human
- 25:50rights abuses we do at a much bigger scale. Well,
- 25:54did y'all see yesterday at Trump's press conference
- 25:56at the Elon where a reporter asked him, Mr. President,
- 25:59why is it that North Korea can have a nuke,
- 26:02I saw, Iran can't? He's like, well, because I like
- 26:04the North Koreans. I don't like the Iranians. But
- 26:07no. No, because they have one and you can't take
- 26:11it away from them. That's why. That's all. By the
- 26:13way that question in and of itself can only be
- 26:15asked in the empire. You can never ask that question
- 26:18anywhere else because it would never make sense
- 26:19anywhere else. What does the U.S. have to do
- 26:22with North Korea having any, meaning a sovereign
- 26:25state has a nuke. It is hey, why is it
- 26:27okay for this sovereign state to have a nuke
- 26:29for the other one? Well, for one, they're a sovereign
- 26:31state. I don't have anything to do with it. I
- 26:33don't have any power over it. And part of the
- 26:35reason I don't have power over it is because
- 26:37what Robby pointed out, they have nukes. But
- 26:39it's an empire question. It's a question that
- 26:42the media and the empire would ask because nobody
- 26:43else in the world would make it would make sense.
- 26:45Hey, why should they be able to do so? Why should
- 26:48Ted Rall be able to have a girlfriend? Well,
- 26:50what the fuck do I have to do with Ted Rall's
- 26:51girlfriend? Yeah, it's nothing to you. Yeah,
- 26:55it's nothing to you. It's none of your business.
- 26:57It's a sovereign state. They do what they want.
- 26:59So how am I, how are you asking me, why should
- 27:03a sovereign state be able to do something that
- 27:05a sovereign state has the power to do? And again,
- 27:08I keep pointing out, if Iran had a nuke, this
- 27:09war wouldn't be taking place. We have a comment
- 27:13from Fortech. I missed the start of today's show.
- 27:16Did they mention the letter to the American people
- 27:18by the IRGC? No, but I don't even know what that
- 27:22is. Do you guys know? Basically, it's
- 27:25I don't remember the thing. I saw the letter and
- 27:28I think I even copied it. But yeah, basically,
- 27:34if I remember correctly. This war is not about,
- 27:37it's kind of what Russia does. What Russia is
- 27:39like, look, Europeans, we're not trying to have
- 27:41a war with you. Your world leaders are idiots.
- 27:43They're driving you to the brink of destruction,
- 27:46stuff like that. If I remember correctly, maybe
- 27:48I'm thinking about it. Off. Okay, so Blake has
- 27:57just kicked in $5 for the Ted's rack of big old
- 28:02titties. Let's go fund. So we now get down to,
- 28:07let's see, $4,968. Thank you for the $5. Keep
- 28:15going. I was kind of wondering if those guys
- 28:17had forgotten about it. No, the titty fund's
- 28:20still on. Justice says mainstream white women's
- 28:24suffrage leaders often used racist, nativist,
- 28:27and elitist rhetoric, marginalizing Black women
- 28:30and people of color to advance white women's
- 28:32voting rights. That's true, and that legacy continues
- 28:36with a lot of the rhetoric of white feminism
- 28:38these days, but that's probably for another day,
- 28:41for another time, because we could do a six-hour
- 28:43show with all the news today. Jackson, military
- 28:48bases are being attacked. It's because of the
- 28:50U.S., you agree, Robby? I'm sure. Of course.
- 28:56Swing voters seems like a humanity. Kill and to die.
- 28:59By the way. Guys, and we haven't
- 29:05even gotten into any of our official topics today.
- 29:08Today is, it's so funny, not with a
- 29:12bang, but a whimper. The U.S. officially withdrew
- 29:15from Iraq. The war in Iraq finished yesterday.
- 29:20That's my main story today. So I got the cliff
- 29:23notes of the letter. So it's a 25-page letter.
- 29:26I'm going to download the whole thing. So basically
- 29:28this is the rundown because I'm not going to
- 29:30read 25 pages. I don't want to put that to anybody.
- 29:33We don't hate Americans. Iran declares itself
- 29:36the victor in the current war, which is true.
- 29:39Hormuz, Iran says that because of geography,
- 29:42they control it. The United States tried to take
- 29:44it away from them. They failed. And to make that
- 29:47point clear, Iran actually this morning, I saw
- 29:50this, attacked three tankers that are being escorted
- 29:53by the U.S. Navy with drones, all three of them
- 29:56have been put out of action. And basically, the
- 29:59Iranians are calling for the American people
- 30:01to stand up and take their government back. So
- 30:04that you claim to be a republic, a government
- 30:06of the people, that people reject this war. So
- 30:10it's incumbent on the American people to stand
- 30:11up and take the government back and to restore
- 30:13their agency, which I agree with. I like it.
- 30:18I just sort of did a cartoon to that effect.
- 30:21All right. Well, so. All right. So we should.
- 30:24All right. We've got stuff to talk about. Should
- 30:26we talk about Mayor Mamdani? This kind of drives
- 30:30me absolutely insane. Wait, real quick. The fly
- 30:33plane, there's more information on it. So it
- 30:35says, after much confusion, it turns out that
- 30:37a Ukrainian and a Russian pilots were on board
- 30:39the flydubai plane. Both took control of the
- 30:43plane and landed it after a second pilot attacked
- 30:47the captain. It says both of the pilots who were
- 30:51flying as regular passengers and a civilian.
- 30:54Clothes. After the incident, they replaced the
- 30:56crew in the cockpit and landed the plane. Russian-Ukrainians
- 30:59working together. Yeah, that's kind
- 31:02of, I was just going to say that. That's kind
- 31:04of awesome. That's wild. Yeah. That's
- 31:08just wild. I couldn't imagine being on a plane
- 31:11that dropped 17,000 feet. Talk about
- 31:13your life passed before your eyes. No doubt.
- 31:15No doubt. Let me put up this cartoon. Let's see.
- 31:24Yeah, I think I can do it this way. Okay. Okay.
- 31:32So this is a cartoon that I'm putting out next
- 31:34week, right? But it shows 1945. It shows
- 31:38the Nuremberg trial. And an American prosecutor
- 31:40says, the German people bear collective guilt.
- 31:44They should have fought the Nazis and overthrown
- 31:46Hitler. Then, this year,
- 31:50a guy on the sofa in his house, protest
- 31:53march in that drizzle? Right. Oh, right, right.
- 32:03It is like that. It is ridiculous.
- 32:06It's the point that I make, the apathy. But by
- 32:09the way I do think we are paying for the apathy.
- 32:11We're $40 trillion in debt. We're paying
- 32:14for the apathy whether we do it directly or not.
- 32:16True. And we're paying at the pump too although
- 32:18it still drives me crazy that we care about our
- 32:20gas prices more than we care about the people
- 32:22we're murdering. Yeah. Okay, so Zohran? Yes. All
- 32:28right. I guess in this case, you can mess with
- 32:30the Zohran. So caving in, Mayor Mamdani, obviously
- 32:35taking a lot of pressure from the Zionist lobby,
- 32:38issued a report in which, of course, nothing
- 32:44was going to go far enough for the Zionists.
- 32:46But basically, the report says that American
- 32:49Jews have reported a marked rise in anti-Semitism
- 32:52in the last decade. It says that basically the
- 32:58city of New York wants to do more funding and
- 33:02they want to sort of form a little department
- 33:05to combat anti-Semitism. This will be like the
- 33:09Maytag repairman, the ultimate no-show job.
- 33:12I want a job on this commission because they
- 33:14literally won't have any work to do. So it's
- 33:17going to be awesome. They're going to be paid
- 33:19not to do anything. I looked this up and I would
- 33:21ask anybody to Google this, use your favorite
- 33:24AI, whatever. Ask any search engine, what are
- 33:30the statistics of anti-Semitic or anti-Jewish
- 33:33attacks, whether they're attacks on property
- 33:37or they're attacks on people that are separated
- 33:42from anything having to do with the genocide
- 33:44in Gaza, criticism of Israel, or Zionism. In
- 33:49other words, attacking Jewish people for being
- 33:51Jewish. And the answer to that question is that
- 33:54there is literally no count whatsoever. No organization
- 33:58tracks these things at all. And the Anti-Defamation
- 34:04League, basically, they count all criticism of
- 34:09Israel as being an anti-Semitic attack. And
- 34:13so they've changed the numbers, right? So they're
- 34:17they changed the calculus. It didn't used
- 34:19to be like that. So they were able to say,
- 34:21oh my God, there's been a massive increase. Well,
- 34:24sure. If I start including
- 34:26every time a Jewish person gets a flat tire while
- 34:29driving a car as an anti-Semitic attack, yeah,
- 34:31you're going to also see a spike in anti-Semitic
- 34:34attacks. But the point is, there is literally
- 34:37zero, not only is there zero data to support
- 34:40this, right? But on top of that, it sort of doesn't
- 34:44pass the smell test because it's not
- 34:47we read the paper every day.
- 34:49It's not like every day, every now
- 34:51and then there's oh my God, this person
- 34:53was attacked for being Jewish. I read the
- 34:56Columbia University report where during the student
- 35:00protests, during the encampments, all
- 35:03these Jewish students claim to have been attacked.
- 35:05Right. And there's all these I feel unsafe on
- 35:08campus. And literally, I was so frustrated because
- 35:12I thought there must have been actual anti-Semitic
- 35:14attacks. There just must have been because the
- 35:17atmosphere was so overheated. There must have
- 35:18been people who were intemperate assholes who
- 35:21were pro-Palestinian who said shit that was
- 35:23wrong, right? Okay, but if that happened,
- 35:27it's nowhere in the report. There isn't a single
- 35:31incident that is cited of that kind of thing
- 35:34happening. So I'm sure it's happened, but the
- 35:37point is... It's literally statistically
- 35:41non-existent. It's a rounding error. It's not
- 35:43something, and it frustrates me to no end that
- 35:47Mamdani, in an effort to get the Zionist lobby
- 35:50off his ass, first of all, this which will not
- 35:53work, because they're already criticizing him
- 35:55for this. They said it doesn't go far enough.
- 35:57They say, well, all criticism of Israel is anti-Semitism.
- 36:00So it's ineffectual. And on top of
- 36:05that it's just like that clip you showed of Ro Khanna
- 36:09where it's you're giving the others you're
- 36:11legitimating, legitimizing the other side
- 36:14which by the way I have no problem with when
- 36:16the other side is right or has a point but
- 36:20that's not the case here. They don't have a point.
- 36:22They're making up out of whole cloth. Well, saying
- 36:26something that you don't like isn't an attack.
- 36:28An attack is if I walk up and I hit you in the
- 36:30face. That's an attack. If I come up and I say
- 36:34that you're supporting a genocidal government,
- 36:35that's not an attack. That's me expressing an
- 36:38opinion. Now, you can make the argument that
- 36:41words are violence, but if you make that argument,
- 36:43then you may as well give her a free speech because
- 36:45the entire point of free speech is to be able
- 36:47to say things that is unpopular or that makes
- 36:50people uncomfortable. Popular speech does not
- 36:52need to be protected by definition. Yeah. No,
- 36:56agreed. That's the whole point of this. It's
- 37:00dumb. Let's be very honest. Israel, on some level,
- 37:03they're doing this in order to create this level
- 37:05of anger and hatred. You committed a genocide,
- 37:09dude. Right? You still are. And you're calling
- 37:11yourself a Jewish state as it commits a genocide.
- 37:15And so it's okay, so what do people, how
- 37:19are people to take that? Are they to take it
- 37:21as the Jews are committing a genocide? Is that
- 37:23how they're to take it? Now, personally, I take
- 37:25it as Zionists are creating a genocide. The distinction
- 37:28between Zionism and Judaism. I think those things
- 37:31are different. And this attempt at saying this
- 37:33is a Jewish state, this is a Jewish state that
- 37:35commits a genocide, on some level is going to,
- 37:38by definition, create anger and rage out of people
- 37:41at, quote, Jews, unquote, and their hand in what
- 37:46is taking place. Even though, again, it's a political
- 37:49movement, not necessarily a religious thing that's
- 37:51doing it. So, no, I agree with you.
- 37:55He's basically throwing them a bone when you
- 37:59shouldn't be throwing anything considering what's
- 38:01taking place. No, I agree with you. And it's
- 38:03never, and the thing is, it's also bad politics.
- 38:05He's usually a pretty smart politician,
- 38:08but this is a tactical mistake.
- 38:12Well, he needs to cede ground in some way. Basically,
- 38:16if I cede ground on this, I have more grace for
- 38:18other stuff. They can't hit me on this particular
- 38:20point. They can't say, especially being Muslim,
- 38:22right? It's me and my very attractive Muslim.
- 38:27Actually, I don't know if his wife is Muslim.
- 38:29I think she's Syrian. But either way, the fact
- 38:32that he's Muslim adds something on to it because
- 38:34they try to make the argument that because by
- 38:35virtue of him being a Muslim, he by definition
- 38:37hates Israel or some insane nonsense like that.
- 38:40At least that's where I think the logic goes.
- 38:42It's kind of like if you support Palestinians,
- 38:44by definition, you hate the state of Israel.
- 38:46And it's well, why do you think that?
- 38:50Why are you making those two things linked together
- 38:52like that? But they are linked. Same thing with
- 38:54El-Sayed, right? Michigan. Muslim.
- 38:58Oh my God, he's saying stuff about Palestine.
- 39:01He must hate Israel because he's a Muslim. They
- 39:04make those linkages. And so I guess he feels
- 39:07he needs to cede ground on some level. Like you
- 39:09said, it's going to be the Maytag repairman.
- 39:12But the problem is the moment that you cede ground
- 39:14to that level of logic, you're stuck with the
- 39:16logic. Is that right? And again, I will point
- 39:21out that the opposite side never does the same.
- 39:24You're never going to get, is it Jonathan Greenblatt,
- 39:27I think, is the guy who runs the ADL. You're
- 39:30never going to see Jonathan say he's a fucking
- 39:34nut. And a lot of people quit the ADL, which
- 39:37used to be a far more respectable organization
- 39:39when it was, we used to call it B'nai B'rith,
- 39:41right? But a lot of people quit because
- 39:45of him taking over and making it not about anti-Semitism,
- 39:49but making it about anti-Zionism.
- 39:51And a lot of good Jews left. He, but
- 39:57Jonathan never says he never says,
- 40:00he never give any ground. He doesn't say, okay.
- 40:03Look, it's fair criticism to say there are certainly
- 40:05some people who criticize Israel who are Jewish,
- 40:09for example, and are not self-hating Jews. And
- 40:12he'll never give that, they'll never give that
- 40:15ground, right? Again, the giving of ground always
- 40:18goes one way in America, from left to right.
- 40:21It never goes from right to left, not ever. If
- 40:25anyone can point to one fucking example of that
- 40:28ever happening, I would be, I'll send you a free
- 40:31book today. Okay. It's totally not true and
- 40:35if you want any change you gotta, it's like the
- 40:37Matrix, you gotta fight Mr. Smith. You gotta be
- 40:40able to fight that fight. Yeah. It can't just
- 40:42be this thing of I'm ceding ground on this particular
- 40:45issue. No, you have to, some of those fights have
- 40:47to be fought. Yeah. And yeah, I agree with
- 40:51you. You shouldn't have done, I don't think you
- 40:52should have done it. It's oh, by the
- 40:55way, adding to this point. And he won the Jewish
- 41:00vote. He doesn't need to do this politically.
- 41:03He has Jewish New Yorkers on his side, and he
- 41:07has key Jewish politicians like Brad Lander on
- 41:12his side defending him. He doesn't need to suck
- 41:14up to these lunatics. Listen to this. 53-year
- 41:19senators voted to block a resolution that would
- 41:21have forced the State Department to report on
- 41:23the killing of American citizens by Israeli settlers
- 41:25and soldiers in the occupied West Bank. The privileged
- 41:28resolution, led by Chris Van Hollen, Tim Kaine,
- 41:32and Bernie Sanders, involves Section 502B of
- 41:35the Foreign Assistance Act. It would have required
- 41:38a report within 30 days, investigation into the
- 41:41killing of U.S. citizens by settlers or Israeli
- 41:43forces, human rights situation in the West Bank,
- 41:46specifically its detention of Palestinian children.
- 41:48If the administration failed to deliver the report,
- 41:51most U.S. security assistance to Israel would
- 41:53have been cut off, according to the sponsors.
- 41:56Guess who jumped in, the Democrats, to put a
- 41:59knife in that? I'll give you one guess. This
- 42:02was in the Senate? Yep. Schumer? No. I know who
- 42:08this is. John Fetterman. Fetterman. Of course.
- 42:12That motherfucker. And keep in mind, the killing
- 42:16of American citizens. Yeah, which could include
- 42:20Pennsylvanians. Yeah. Yes. Yes. But Pennsylvanians
- 42:25are Americans by definition. Yes, I'm just saying
- 42:28your own constituents, right? Your own constituents,
- 42:30your own countrymen. Hey, how many Americans,
- 42:34the people who you are philosophically, ethically,
- 42:37and legally supposed to be representing and defending,
- 42:40how many of them have been murdered by lunatics
- 42:44with beards? They had the wrong hyphenated name
- 42:47though. They're Palestinian Americans. They
- 42:50weren't Israeli Americans, right? So we don't care
- 42:52about them. And so it's a whole Animal Farm thing,
- 42:54right? Some hyphenated Americans are more American
- 42:56than others. I know that, but that's dumb.
- 43:00But that's so problematic because what that means
- 43:03is we're not united. We're not one thing, which
- 43:06is the entire point of this supposed to be a
- 43:08melting pot. Hey, you may be from Afghanistan. Besides
- 43:11which we're not even asking for anything to be
- 43:13done about it. We're just trying to collect data.
- 43:16We're collecting. We want numbers. We just want
- 43:19a report. Hey, did you happen to kill my daughter?
- 43:24That'd be nice. Could you let me know? That'd
- 43:26be great. So that way I know I don't have to
- 43:27send her a Christmas card this year. Listen,
- 43:30it's like you hit someone's dog, Ted. If
- 43:32someone ran over Clovis, if they came and knocked
- 43:36on your door and said, I'm sorry, is this your
- 43:37cat? I'm really sorry. He was out on the road.
- 43:40I tried to stop. I couldn't. It was an apology.
- 43:44Is there anything I can do? How can I make this
- 43:47right? We can't get that for a culture that we
- 43:51pay for. Or even no apology. No apology at all.
- 43:55Even just hey, dude, I killed your cat.
- 43:58Have a good day. See you. We're not even getting
- 44:02that. Human beings. And those human beings being
- 44:05Americans. This is supposed to be like
- 44:07Rome, right? A Roman citizen can go anywhere.
- 44:10Did you hear that the Israeli Supreme Court,
- 44:13which until recently was like the only last
- 44:16institutional vestige of sanity in that country,
- 44:19they ordered the IDF to reinstall that Palestinian
- 44:24family who were under siege in the West Bank
- 44:27by Jewish terrorists, right? And so
- 44:31the IDF went in there to do that, and then they
- 44:36were repelled by the settlers. The settlers drove
- 44:40the IDF out. Now, I'm like, this is where I want
- 44:45these settlements to look like Gaza. I want the
- 44:48IDF to come in with F-16s and strafe it and
- 44:53bomb it and go then go in with people
- 44:57to blow up all the buildings that survive. That's
- 45:00if you're a democracy and you
- 45:02treat everyone the same that's what you should
- 45:04do. You literally claim to. Literally they
- 45:07went in there like, pretty kind, sir. Would you
- 45:11please step aside? Queensberry rules. Dictates
- 45:15said we must pass through here. Fuck off. All
- 45:19bad. Have a nice day. Have a nice sandwich. Goodbye.
- 45:24It's what? It's literally like they're
- 45:27not even pretending to try. Yeah, of
- 45:30course they're not trying, right? It's
- 45:31oh, we tried so hard. We couldn't do it. We couldn't
- 45:33stop them. They were too strong. We know
- 45:36what the IDF is capable of. They should
- 45:38have killed those settlers. We have seen them
- 45:41murder people with breathtaking precision. Yes.
- 45:47And take a certain amount of glee out of it as
- 45:51they did it. The idea that they can't deal with
- 45:53settlers. There was a documentary, I'll give
- 45:57credit to NPR for talking about it this morning,
- 46:00called Gaza. It's airing in Israel. Gaza, N-A-Z-A-F-O.
- 46:04Oh, Nazafo. And so basically they're
- 46:07and basically it's about how it's
- 46:11IDF veterans talking about how
- 46:16people were targeted in Gaza and basically they statistically
- 46:19they were literally told, we're willing
- 46:22to eliminate the entire population of Gaza. By
- 46:25the way, new statistics, new estimates of the deaths
- 46:27there is about 680,000 dead in Gaza, according
- 46:32to some NGOs who calculated. It's sort of
- 46:36just based on who was there before, who's there
- 46:38now. And just that makes more sense
- 46:42to me than the Gaza Health Ministry numbers,
- 46:45which those require recovering bodies. So most
- 46:49of the bodies are under the rubble. So that does
- 46:51make sense to me. And having done
- 46:53some more correspondence, I never thought,
- 46:56looking at that video, that
- 46:58it ever made sense that it was, quote unquote, only 70,000.
- 47:00But it never moved. It stayed at a
- 47:04particular point and it's okay, but they've
- 47:06been murdering people for months. How does this
- 47:07number sing? And those numbers always seemed
- 47:09really lowball. But yeah. Anyway, the point
- 47:13is that movie, it's heinous.
- 47:16They literally were like, we're willing
- 47:18to kill 20 people for every person we target
- 47:21and we don't care. And they, like you said, to
- 47:24your point, extraordinary precision. They literally
- 47:27zero in on the people's phones, the occupants
- 47:29of a building. They listen and watch them. They
- 47:33can as they're killing them and they make
- 47:35fun of them as they do that. And this is left,
- 47:38as you would imagine, a lot of Jewish
- 47:41Israeli soldiers traumatized because
- 47:44they're not all monsters. And so
- 47:48before the show we were talking a little
- 47:50bit about how this compared to the way German
- 47:53Nazi troops handled this. And I think,
- 47:56look, a lot of, for example, at the big
- 47:59massacres at Babi Yar and places like that, a
- 48:02lot of German troops, they couldn't really do
- 48:04it without drinking the entire time. They passed
- 48:06out, the German army passed out schnapps to the
- 48:08soldiers so that they would keep doing it because
- 48:11they were, it's not really human nature to do
- 48:14this for most people, to just kill innocent people
- 48:17for fun. Some people are enjoying themselves.
- 48:21Lord knows the leadership is enjoying
- 48:23themselves. But I think in terms of the conscript,
- 48:26it's a mixed bag. Some are really into it. Some
- 48:29are really not into it. And then there's a bell
- 48:31curve in between. No, I accept that.
- 48:34They're people, even if they act like monsters,
- 48:37they're still people. Right. I think there's
- 48:40going to be a lot of people. Worst monsters. There's
- 48:42going to be a lot of suicidal ideation among
- 48:44for IDF vets, I think. Well, apparently they
- 48:47are. A lot of them have been eating their
- 48:49guns at some of the stuff they've been doing.
- 48:52Yeah. I don't know what to say. The
- 48:56reality of it is that they're doing monstrous
- 48:58things and the majority of the population agree
- 49:01with the monstrous things that they're doing.
- 49:02So yeah, I don't know. I
- 49:08suppose that would be. Two great comments. One is silly and
- 49:11one is silly without wanting to be silly. Okay,
- 49:15so one is from Eric. If I identify as a furry
- 49:20and do a crime, should I go to prison or the
- 49:22pound? The zoo. Okay. And Zach, Nazis were leftists.
- 49:28You do know that, right? They weren't
- 49:31leftists. Nazis were right-wingers. Yeah, they
- 49:33were hardcore right-wingers. Yeah. Hitler
- 49:36might have did this thing where they're
- 49:38will put out certain tropes. That he knows
- 49:40socialism is in the name but that doesn't make
- 49:43you socialist. Yeah, it was a fascist government.
- 49:46Yeah, fascism is on the far opposite extreme of
- 49:49communism. So but we can if we want to get
- 49:53into that we can. Okay, just a little bit of housekeeping.
- 49:57The second hour of the show as we go till 11
- 49:59o'clock we have an hour and nine minutes left
- 50:01in today's show. We'll be focused on your questions
- 50:04but we'll continue to talk about the news and
- 50:07okay so I think we've done enough about
- 50:10Mamdani. I could do the whole show about Mamdani.
- 50:12Do you only put the clip of that Yahoo
- 50:15on 60 Minutes saying how Israel can hack your
- 50:18phones? Sure. Okay, just one second here, fellas.
- 50:22The fact that he's so arrogant he just
- 50:25comes out. I don't know if we can play that six
- 50:27minute clip. We may, they may quit. Oh, right, right,
- 50:29right, right. Now you're right. You don't
- 50:32play around. Yeah, they'll blow us up. Can't do
- 50:35it. Yeah. I don't know that. If we're on
- 50:37Rumble, we could. I don't know if YouTube will
- 50:39do it with fair use. They should. They should
- 50:43let it go. Obviously, it's a political
- 50:45talk show doing news and commentary. What they'll
- 50:48do is they'll ding us and we'll have to fight
- 50:49it afterwards. Yeah, it's not worth it. Okay.
- 50:52All right. I'm saying it from experience. No,
- 50:55you're right. No, we dealt with this with Manila
- 50:57over and over and over. All right. Cornell, Venezuelan
- 51:03gold, deportations, or citizenship question
- 51:09on tax forms. Venezuelan gold. Let's go to that.
- 51:12All right. Do you want to tee it
- 51:14up? Well, I don't know the thing I remember. All
- 51:17right. Trying to take Venezuelan gold out of four.
- 51:19They were trying to take Venezuelan gold out
- 51:21of one bank to another bank or something like
- 51:23that. Well, so actually so what happened is
- 51:25that Commissar Marco Rubio has
- 51:31taken over the Venezuelan government as the viceroy
- 51:35of Venezuela. And as part of the looting of the
- 51:38country's natural resources, they took over the
- 51:41mining operations and they diverted all of the
- 51:45mined raw gold that then has to be refined. And
- 51:50the problem is that it can't be refined under
- 51:55international rules if it's sort of like blood
- 51:58diamonds if it's been sourced through criminal
- 52:00gangs or there was environmental destruction
- 52:03or corruption involved in the extraction of this
- 52:07resource. So the thing is, this is not to say
- 52:11that the Venezuelan mining industry was pure
- 52:13as the driven snow before the U.S. invasion and
- 52:17occupation, but or I shouldn't, it's not even
- 52:20an occupation, the overthrow of the Maduro
- 52:23government. But it certainly was a lot, certainly
- 52:27back under Hugo Chavez, it was a lot,
- 52:29it was a socialist government. Criminal gangs
- 52:32were not running the show and things got worse
- 52:35and worse. Anyway, under the doctrine
- 52:37of move fast and break things, Trump just rushed
- 52:40into this and just said, just take it. So Rubio
- 52:44did take it. And the thing is that it's all sitting
- 52:48in warehouses now in the United States worth
- 52:52hundreds of millions of dollars of gold bars.
- 52:55But under international law and international
- 52:58rules, nobody can take it or use it. So it's
- 53:03basically sitting there. I guess you
- 53:06could just melt it. There is no such thing as
- 53:08international law. But there's international
- 53:11business rules. And apparently a lot of the,
- 53:15nobody will buy this shit. Nobody will take it.
- 53:18So basically. It's kind of just typical Trumpian
- 53:22incompetence. Well, I'm surprised that we don't
- 53:24put in our votes. Apparently we can't.
- 53:28There's nothing stopping us from taking a gold
- 53:30bar. In Ukraine, they used to, what's
- 53:32the guy, the congressman that had gold bars in
- 53:34his refrigerator? We can take gold bars.
- 53:37What's stopping us from putting those in our
- 53:39banks? Well, according to basically the business
- 53:45rules of the gold mining industry, which I was
- 53:47not aware of up until now. You can't do that.
- 53:51So basically it would be like the, I
- 53:55guess the thing is there would be sanctions against
- 53:57the United States among other gold,
- 54:00gold traders. There's obviously a huge international
- 54:03gold trading market. We'd be cut out. We would
- 54:07not be allowed to trade gold with the rest of
- 54:09the world. I want to see it. I don't believe
- 54:11it. I don't believe it for one moment. I don't
- 54:14believe it. I just don't believe it. Donald,
- 54:17we have bullied the world. Oh no host of issues
- 54:21but the specific one is the one where we're stuck
- 54:25on from the standpoint of international law. I
- 54:26don't buy it. That gold is going to be laundered
- 54:30in some particular fashion and we will get our
- 54:33hands on that gold in some way. What they'll do
- 54:34is either a they're going to either they're
- 54:37going to melt it down, make it
- 54:41for electronics to conduct electricity or they're
- 54:43going to make it into jewelry. One or the other.
- 54:45That's what's cool about gold. It's
- 54:48so malleable. Well, what about selling it in the
- 54:50country itself? Meaning you may not be able to
- 54:52put the stuff out the country, but certainly
- 54:53you can sell it to, as Robby was pointing out,
- 54:55if manufacturers need it for something.
- 54:58Look, I'm just telling you what the New
- 54:59York Times says. Look, what is true is
- 55:02that the gold is just sitting there. That part
- 55:04is true. So they may figure out some
- 55:10way to just dump it on,
- 55:13all the cheap jewelry stores in
- 55:17on the Lower East Side might end up selling this. Who knows.
- 55:19So there's, so they transported it from Venezuela
- 55:22to the U.S. or from the UK to the U.S. because I
- 55:26thought it was in the UK. Now it's in the
- 55:31it's in the U.S. Oh I guess this thing is it's unprocessed
- 55:33or thank you P.W. Walker for pointing that out
- 55:35and it can't be refined
- 55:39until yeah that's the issue but it's in the U.S. I think
- 55:43that's what the Times is reporting
- 55:45now. How did it get to the U.S.?
- 55:50We basically diverted it from Venezuela. Probably the U.S.
- 55:53military transports. We stole it from Venezuela.
- 55:57That's just looting. Totally looting.
- 56:01It's just hilarious that we stole something that
- 56:03we can't use. We'll find a way to use it.
- 56:07It's just so... Gold also has industrial applications,
- 56:11right? Exactly. Yeah, we'll find somebody to
- 56:13use it. I guess it's so over the top, though.
- 56:15It's cartoonish. It's like somebody rolling
- 56:18up a truck to the back of a bank and just taking
- 56:21the money out and just driving away. That's effectively
- 56:23what we did. That's exactly it. That's exactly
- 56:25it. All right. Got a comment. Thanks for the
- 56:27$5 from Andre. Netanyahu went to the UN to quote
- 56:31unquote expose Mamdani and his response, Mamdani's
- 56:34response was to arrest protesters of Israel.
- 56:37That's true. Yeah. Yeah. Mamdani did arrest the
- 56:43anti-Israel protesters. Disgusting. Instead
- 56:46of the guy who he should be arresting, the guy
- 56:49he promised to arrest under the ICC. But, yeah.
- 56:56We're not signatories. True. Yeah. We could do
- 57:01it, but we're not signatories. I know. Which
- 57:03is ironic. I still think he shouldn't. I think,
- 57:05even if he just did it and booked
- 57:07Netanyahu and just kept him in the Tombs or kept
- 57:11him in Rikers for a night, that'd
- 57:15be great. Keep seeing spicy. If that happened,
- 57:21do you think that Netanyahu's bodyguards are
- 57:23trying to shoot the cops? They're in the U.S.
- 57:27They can't. If they did that, they would be annihilated.
- 57:31They couldn't. They would be annihilated. Think
- 57:33of how cops act. A cop could break into a house
- 57:37and you could shoot at the cop because they broke
- 57:40into your house and they would all open fire
- 57:41and the courts will let them off. Keep in mind,
- 57:45what was that case where the cop, they broke
- 57:49into the house, it was a no-knock warrant, the
- 57:51person shot at him, and all the cops opened fire,
- 57:54and they ended up murdering somebody who was,
- 57:56I think, in the other apartment or something
- 57:57like that. They went after the guy who shot at
- 58:00the cop, who, again, the cops broke into the
- 58:03house, and the guy didn't know that they were
- 58:04cops. Right now, as we speak, and we're going
- 58:06to talk about ICE, but not about this topic,
- 58:08that guy in Texas that ICE shot, they just charged
- 58:12him with attacking the officer. Yep. That's what
- 58:15I mean. So then Yahoo's bodyguards that are
- 58:18in the U.S., a country of 320 million
- 58:19people, let's say there's 20 of them.
- 58:22And the NYPD aren't slouches. They know how to use their
- 58:25sidearms. But here's the thing, though. It would
- 58:27show who runs what. If he, if Mamdani had the
- 58:33balls to do it, if he sent his cops and said,
- 58:36go arrest this guy. Yeah. If Netanyahu's bodyguards
- 58:40tried to obstruct. Send some good Arab American
- 58:42cops to take care of you. Then what would happen?
- 58:44Right. Who would NYPD take orders from? Netanyahu
- 58:49or Mamdani? That's the question. It'll be Mamdani.
- 58:53They would take orders from Mamdani. I would
- 58:56hope so. I don't think Mamdani would
- 58:59do it. Mamdani's dick would grow by about three
- 59:01quarters of an inch. Well, Mamdani doesn't have
- 59:02the balls to do it. His penis has been
- 59:06it's clearly shriveled inside of his body.
- 59:09I'd be turned on. That's a sexy guy. I'd
- 59:15be like, oh my God. Holy shit. Look at the balls
- 59:17on that one. And I would not hold it against
- 59:21him at all. We had to let him go the next
- 59:24day. All right, all right. But can you
- 59:26maybe throw him down a flight of stairs? Maybe
- 59:28throw him down a flight of stairs before you
- 59:30do? Well, if someone had an Epstein,
- 59:33anything could happen in those prisons. Yeah,
- 59:35yeah, yeah. Well, that's true. Yeah, send them
- 59:37to the MDC. That would not be good. Oh,
- 59:42we lost this paperwork. All right. Venezuelan
- 59:45gold, what have we done? We still have to do
- 59:47Cornell and ICE and taxes. You said you had a
- 59:54story about Cornell. Yeah, so you know about
- 59:57this rape allegation, right? So basically this
- 1:00:02is a, so what happened here as far as we know
- 1:00:04is back two years ago there was an alleged gang
- 1:00:09rape at a fraternity at Cornell University. That's
- 1:00:14in upstate New York. This was in October 2024,
- 1:00:18almost exactly two years ago. So according to
- 1:00:21her, she according to the victim she. Basically,
- 1:00:28it was a wild night of crazy drinking and ketamine
- 1:00:32and God knows what else. There was consensual
- 1:00:36sex, according to her, with two dudes. And then
- 1:00:40things got wild and even got out of control.
- 1:00:43And then according to a Snapchat that there's
- 1:00:48a screenshot of basically it was
- 1:00:51I don't want to repeat exactly what was said. Basically
- 1:00:53it was hey, the door is open.
- 1:00:56Come up upstairs. If you want it,
- 1:00:58this girl wants it. And then so a total
- 1:01:02of seven guys are accused of having had sex with
- 1:01:05her. She claims that the last five or
- 1:01:09at least some of the last five were non-consensual.
- 1:01:14She, at the time, campus, nothing. Now, the thing
- 1:01:18is that for three weeks, there were no reports
- 1:01:21filed of any kind. One of the two guys that she
- 1:01:26liked messaged her allegedly and said,
- 1:01:30I'm really sorry, things got a little out of
- 1:01:31control. And she's kind of like in her response,
- 1:01:34kind of like, no worries, no harm, no foul.
- 1:01:37Let's get together again soon, next time
- 1:01:39with less ketamine and with fewer guys. And so
- 1:01:43she was obviously kind of into the first two,
- 1:01:47but not into the last five. Three weeks later,
- 1:01:51she went to the campus police, not the Ithaca
- 1:01:55police, and said, and wanted to file a rape charge.
- 1:02:00They looked into it. There was no corroborating
- 1:02:05witnesses. Her testimony was unclear. They decided
- 1:02:12not to file charges. She also went with some
- 1:02:16local campus advocates and so on. And there,
- 1:02:20basically, the situation sat, except the college
- 1:02:25did hold a Title IX hearing. Right. Those are
- 1:02:29controversial. And the guys, two of the guys,
- 1:02:34I guess, were expelled. The others were suspended
- 1:02:40for short times and they had to write essays,
- 1:02:43which that part is hilarious. I will not rape
- 1:02:46unconscious women. I will not rape unconscious
- 1:02:48women. And anyway, but that was according to
- 1:02:53the university. That was only part of it. Anyway,
- 1:02:56so. That was basically where things stood. And
- 1:03:00then a few days ago, she filed a civil lawsuit
- 1:03:03against the alleged rapists and the university
- 1:03:09and the fraternity, which has now been closed.
- 1:03:13The university did shut it down after this incident
- 1:03:15back then. So now this is all over social media.
- 1:03:21It's kind of, look, there's been
- 1:03:23cases like this before. There was the Duke lacrosse
- 1:03:26case there when I was at Columbia shortly.
- 1:03:31I guess this was a year after I left the first
- 1:03:33time. So between 84 and between
- 1:03:3784 and 90, when I was not on campus, there was
- 1:03:42a fraternity where a lady said she was attending
- 1:03:47a drunken party, claimed to have been gang raped.
- 1:03:51And she filed charges. The university shut down
- 1:03:55the fraternity, expelled all of the members who
- 1:03:59were present at the time, and blacklisted them
- 1:04:02from all other Ivy League and other prestigious
- 1:04:05colleges. Years later, she
- 1:04:11went to her therapist and her therapist encouraged her to
- 1:04:13go to the university and she recanted her story
- 1:04:16and said this never happened. I was just
- 1:04:19upset because I liked this guy and he didn't
- 1:04:21want to date me and I wanted to get even with
- 1:04:23him. And so the university never took
- 1:04:27it back. And they never reinstated the
- 1:04:31frat. They never de-blacklisted the
- 1:04:35students. They never readmitted them. But there were some
- 1:04:37civil lawsuits. There was the Barnard
- 1:04:40Mattress Girl, if you remember her, that was a notorious
- 1:04:43case where this girl at Barnard College, which
- 1:04:48is the women's college across the street from
- 1:04:50Columbia, claimed that she had consensual sex,
- 1:04:55but non-consensual anal sex with a friend of
- 1:04:59hers, with a FWB. She reported it. There was
- 1:05:04a Title IX case. He wasn't really allowed to,
- 1:05:07under Title IX you can't have a lawyer
- 1:05:10represent you or defend you. You can't confront
- 1:05:13your accusers. It's not a real trial. And the
- 1:05:16jurors aren't legal experts. In some cases they
- 1:05:18even involve fellow students. And anyway she
- 1:05:22he was expelled. Basically her story started
- 1:05:26to fall apart. He filed a civil lawsuit. The university
- 1:05:29ended up having to pay him millions of dollars
- 1:05:32and reinstating him as a student. And
- 1:05:36but the point is lacrosse case too. The Duke lacrosse
- 1:05:39case was all. Yeah. So it's a lot. So
- 1:05:43it's the problem is rape happens a lot on
- 1:05:47campus but so do false allegations and so it's
- 1:05:52kind of what are the cops to do and now
- 1:05:55you have Governor Kathy Hochul obviously with
- 1:05:58presidential aspirations. She's urging something
- 1:06:01to be done about this because of all the social
- 1:06:04media heat. And so now there's a new investigation.
- 1:06:08There's, they're looking into it again.
- 1:06:11But basically all the usual fault lines in a
- 1:06:14case like this are cropping up between
- 1:06:17people who are oh, believe all
- 1:06:18women and versus men are rapey
- 1:06:21scum. It's just a fucking hot
- 1:06:25mess. It is a mess. Okay. I guess for one, yeah,
- 1:06:34this is a bit of a mess. She was on ketamine,
- 1:06:37so she was kind of unconscious. For what? I don't
- 1:06:40know why anybody would want to have sex with
- 1:06:41an unconscious woman. Well, that's right.
- 1:06:45By definition, there's no consent there, right?
- 1:06:53She gave consent before she became unconscious
- 1:06:55with the ketamine. She gave consent to
- 1:06:57the first two. Yeah, by her own count. Right.
- 1:07:00So it's well, you can't really
- 1:07:02accuse the first two of rape. If you're
- 1:07:04invited, note to all watchers
- 1:07:07of the program who are dudes, if you were invited
- 1:07:10into a room and told she wants it, but she
- 1:07:13doesn't have anything to say because she's out,
- 1:07:15leave the room. She doesn't really want it. Right.
- 1:07:18Right. Or maybe she did, but she can't now. Right.
- 1:07:23Yeah. She can't consent when she's unconscious.
- 1:07:25So that's dicey in and of itself. Right.
- 1:07:28Yeah, that's a hard one. Because the
- 1:07:33reality of it is she was unconscious.
- 1:07:36I suppose the other two could tell on the other
- 1:07:37five, but the other two are going to get in trouble
- 1:07:41for inviting the other people in in the first
- 1:07:42place because they didn't have any right to invite
- 1:07:44people to have sex. Totally. Yeah. I don't know.
- 1:07:47This is a mess. Do we know as a flat
- 1:07:50fact that the rape took place? We know
- 1:07:52as a flat fact the first two had sex and we know.
- 1:07:55Do we know it's a flat fact the other five joined
- 1:07:57them? We don't. We don't.
- 1:08:01It's largely widely assumed. By the way these
- 1:08:03guys have been doxxed by feminists online
- 1:08:05and stuff. So their names are even The Guardian's
- 1:08:08been reporting their names. But
- 1:08:12by the way I don't have a problem with that in
- 1:08:13a way because they're accused of rape.
- 1:08:15There's so they're college kids. So
- 1:08:17what? They're adults. They can be.
- 1:08:20Their names can appear. If you were accused of
- 1:08:22robbing a liquor store you'd be, your
- 1:08:24name would be in the paper. For some reason
- 1:08:27it feels different. It does feel different but
- 1:08:30I don't think it really is different. But
- 1:08:32so we don't know. So yes. So here's the
- 1:08:36thing, right? She didn't go to the popo for six,
- 1:08:40for well the local the rent-a-cops, right? She
- 1:08:43didn't go for the campus pigs for three weeks.
- 1:08:46So obviously, no rape kit is possible.
- 1:08:50The evidence has gone. So there's no physical
- 1:08:52evidence by that point. Also, the Snapchat thing
- 1:08:55of saying, hey, let's meet up later. Even that's
- 1:08:57a little weird to me. Is that weird?
- 1:08:59That cuts both ways, though, right? Because
- 1:09:01it's sort of like that kind of thing has come
- 1:09:04up in numerous cases like this. And psychologists
- 1:09:07call this normalizing behavior. If
- 1:09:10you're traumatized, you're like. We're good here,
- 1:09:13right? And now I'm not going to compare myself
- 1:09:15with a rape victim, but I learned about normalizing
- 1:09:19behavior in my LA Times case, because in my LA
- 1:09:21Times case, it all surrounded this incident where
- 1:09:24I was roughed up by this LAPD cop. And there's
- 1:09:28a recording of it. And at one point, I'm like,
- 1:09:30oh, after he takes off my cuffs and he's
- 1:09:33ready to let me go, I'm like, oh, is there any
- 1:09:35place good to eat around here? And the LA Times
- 1:09:39made a lot of this and said, oh, if you
- 1:09:41had such a rough experience with the cop, why
- 1:09:44do you ask that? Now, the thing is, I have corroborating
- 1:09:47evidence that I was meeting my friends for dinner.
- 1:09:51I was running late because of this incident.
- 1:09:54I didn't need a place to eat, right? So why would
- 1:09:58I ask this, right? Only just basically to sort
- 1:10:01of, we're good here. And that's apparently
- 1:10:04a really normal thing to do. U.S.,
- 1:10:08Israeli troops
- 1:10:12in the West Bank and you're like, good morning,
- 1:10:15but in reality you're terrified with this person.
- 1:10:17Also pointing out that hey let's not do this
- 1:10:22with the other guys also kind of indicates that
- 1:10:25the other guys were there, right? Right. And I think
- 1:10:29also what the fact that the guy was like,
- 1:10:31oh things got out of control. I'm sorry about
- 1:10:34how the direction that went. That also indicates
- 1:10:36that. So I'm 99 sure the other guys were
- 1:10:40there. At least somebody didn't give a about her.
- 1:10:42To be like hey come on in guys. By the
- 1:10:45way I remember when I was in college and white
- 1:10:48woman had to think for Black guys. I had to
- 1:10:53think for Black guys that were let's say on the
- 1:10:56dicier side of things. I guess the danger of
- 1:11:00it all and. I remember when they were
- 1:11:03going to run a train and they were inviting people
- 1:11:06in. Right. Yeah. It happens. Yeah, it happens.
- 1:11:11And she was down for it. So it wasn't like some
- 1:11:14people are. Yeah, she was. She had a certain
- 1:11:17quirk about her that that was her thing. And
- 1:11:21I've dated girls who that was a huge fantasy
- 1:11:25for them. Yeah. To shoot a grin of her
- 1:11:28roommates because the people effectively stole
- 1:11:30a bunch of shit out of their rooms. Like I said,
- 1:11:32they were in the dumps. Oh, shit. Yeah. But,
- 1:11:34yeah, I remember this other one. It was
- 1:11:36hey, would you like to come down? It was
- 1:11:38oh, no. Thanks a lot. Yeah. I had a roommate
- 1:11:42that he, he told me that in college,
- 1:11:45he and the entire tennis team ran a
- 1:11:49train on some girl. And I was like, was she into
- 1:11:52it? And he's like, I don't really know. And I
- 1:11:54was like, you didn't really know? What you're
- 1:11:57you have to know. But I don't think you do.
- 1:12:01But you need to know. If you don't know then the
- 1:12:03answer is no. Yeah. You should know. But I would
- 1:12:07go further. If she's really wasted and
- 1:12:11you can tell then even if the answer is yes the
- 1:12:14answer is no. I have a question for you. I have
- 1:12:17a question for you Ted and this goes back to
- 1:12:19the argument that we had with that lady who killed
- 1:12:21her, killed her kids so she's out of her mind.
- 1:12:24Well, these people are on drugs. So if it's okay
- 1:12:29for a woman to strangle her kids because she
- 1:12:31was out of her mind, then how is this wrong?
- 1:12:36Square this peg for me. You mean the fact that
- 1:12:38the alleged, you mean from the alleged rapists?
- 1:12:41Look, that's a criminal defense. If they were
- 1:12:45ever, obviously they're not going to be charged
- 1:12:47criminally. It's been two years. But if they
- 1:12:51were charged criminally and they said, they were
- 1:12:54able to say, listen, I was fucking fucked up
- 1:12:57beyond belief. I was so drunk. I was so wasted
- 1:13:01on ketamine. The special. I
- 1:13:04don't think many juries would look kindly upon
- 1:13:07it, but it is a defense. It's a line of defense
- 1:13:09that's been tried many times in American court.
- 1:13:11I don't think it's a good defense. It's not an
- 1:13:13effective defense. Well, the problem is they
- 1:13:16knew. Guys, you talk about this. I got to pee.
- 1:13:19Well, I'm an alcoholic. And I drink and
- 1:13:23get behind the wheel of a car. I know I can crash
- 1:13:25the car as a result of the alcohol. They're not
- 1:13:27going to give them a break for that.
- 1:13:29In the woman's case, I think the argument is
- 1:13:31where she was out of her mind because of postpartum
- 1:13:33depression was nothing that she did to be out
- 1:13:35of her mind, which I'm not sure if I believe
- 1:13:37or not, but put that aside for the moment. That's
- 1:13:39the argument in her case. She didn't have a choice.
- 1:13:42She was out of her mind because of the pregnancy.
- 1:13:45She wasn't taking anything. She was just out
- 1:13:47of her mind because of the condition. In their
- 1:13:48case, they were taking shit. They were
- 1:13:50getting hammered. It sounded like they were having
- 1:13:52a good party up until the point of the rape.
- 1:13:54Listen, I agree. If the rape even happened. I
- 1:13:57think the best thing you could do, my daughter's
- 1:14:00in college now, hopefully she never puts herself
- 1:14:04in this kind of situation to begin with. Don't
- 1:14:07get drunk or get stoned and go to a room with
- 1:14:09two guys because you know it's going to happen.
- 1:14:13Don't put yourself in a situation where you're
- 1:14:15out of control, for one thing. But if it does
- 1:14:17happen, if one person gets a pass, she says,
- 1:14:22well, I was out of my mind because of a medical
- 1:14:23condition. And I'm out of my mind because I saw
- 1:14:28a street pharmacist. Those are different. And
- 1:14:31you know those are different. Of course they're
- 1:14:33different. Those are different. No, I get it.
- 1:14:35You're trying to cross that Rubicon. Those are
- 1:14:38very different things. Well, I don't think so,
- 1:14:40ma'am, because I think what it is that we just
- 1:14:42cheapen life so much. Look, I'm not saying that
- 1:14:47the woman who killed her kids is innocent. Just
- 1:14:50to be clear, I'm not saying that. No, I'm not
- 1:14:52saying she's guilty. I think you and me are on
- 1:14:53the same side on this. If indeed she was out
- 1:14:56of postpartum depression and she was having all
- 1:14:59of the pregnancy stuff, if that's the case, the
- 1:15:02husband doesn't believe it, but if that's the
- 1:15:04case, that's not the same thing as her taking
- 1:15:06drugs. I don't know, man. It's just not. Because,
- 1:15:10listen, I agree with you, but if the argument
- 1:15:13is, if the defense is, I was out of my mind,
- 1:15:15and in the Clancy case, she was an RN, she was
- 1:15:19an OB nurse. She was being treated for depression.
- 1:15:23She was going to all these doctors. She was getting
- 1:15:25treated. She kills her kids. And then the defense
- 1:15:30is, well, she's out of her mind. Well, if that's
- 1:15:33acceptable there. Well, look, look,
- 1:15:36you're right that there's a conflict there, right? It
- 1:15:39reminds me of DUI. So if I'm drunk, by definition,
- 1:15:46I go out and run someone over. Well,
- 1:15:49okay. Our law says because I'm a drunk asshole,
- 1:15:53I shouldn't have gotten in the car and then I
- 1:15:55should go to prison for a long time because I
- 1:15:56ran over someone. Fair. But it's also true that
- 1:16:00because I was a drunk asshole, I didn't have
- 1:16:02the judgment to know that I shouldn't get in
- 1:16:04the car. Yeah, but the judgment is paying before
- 1:16:07you're drunk. Meaning that's where you're getting
- 1:16:10deemed. You're not getting deemed behind the
- 1:16:12wheel. You're getting deemed behind the wheel.
- 1:16:13But the legal system is inconsistent here, right?
- 1:16:16How? Well, because in the case of the Clancy
- 1:16:19case, she's got psychosis. So therefore
- 1:16:23she's not responsible. True. I guess that's the
- 1:16:26difference. That's the difference. That's the
- 1:16:29difference. Right. She didn't do anything intentionally
- 1:16:32in order to cause her psychosis. If you
- 1:16:36take Special K and then you rape someone,
- 1:16:40that's on you. You shouldn't have taken the Special
- 1:16:41K. It's an illegal drug anyway. In fact, I don't
- 1:16:45even know how you take Special K and rape anybody.
- 1:16:46She was the one that was on Special K. Right,
- 1:16:49but we have no idea. There's no word from the
- 1:16:52reporting as to the state of the dudes. We know
- 1:16:56everyone was drinking. Special K would have knocked
- 1:17:00them out. Special K is, it puts you, it's like
- 1:17:03a... So they just would have taken a nap next
- 1:17:05to her. Right. They would have just been... I've
- 1:17:08never tried it, so yeah. I've never tried it,
- 1:17:11but I do know what it is. I just think that the
- 1:17:13best thing to do if you're at a university, if
- 1:17:17you're at a college, don't put yourself in this
- 1:17:20kind of situation. Totally. And people are going
- 1:17:22to say, well, Robby's victim blaming. However,
- 1:17:25let me just say that partying and drinking
- 1:17:27is always going to be a part of college and university
- 1:17:30life. And I've been to a lot of fucking crazy,
- 1:17:33drunken, insane. I was at a party where
- 1:17:38two dudes were so drunk that they fell off the
- 1:17:43roof of the building they were leaning on. They
- 1:17:45were on the roof and they leaned, they leaned
- 1:17:48back and they fell off six floors. Six floors
- 1:17:53straight, straight to the sidewalk in New York
- 1:17:56City. Okay. No soft landing. Okay. Not. But here's
- 1:18:01the funny part. They were set. They were so drunk
- 1:18:04that they felt they weren't stiff when they landed.
- 1:18:08And so they survived because they sort of had
- 1:18:11the floppy bounce. That's like babies often survive
- 1:18:15falls like that because they bounce. But if you
- 1:18:19stiff up, which is the normal thing to do when
- 1:18:21you're headed toward the ground, you're more
- 1:18:25brittle, apparently. It's very strange. I had
- 1:18:28a guy that did that in Upper Brown. Upper Brown
- 1:18:30was the Virginia Union. It's a historic Black
- 1:18:32college in Richmond. And I used to go to a program
- 1:18:34just before going to college. It was like this
- 1:18:37preparatory thing that you used to stay with.
- 1:18:40And I remember the guys got so drunk because
- 1:18:42keep in mind your TAs, the people who are overseeing
- 1:18:46you are in college. You were in high school.
- 1:18:49And so all of the people are men on one side
- 1:18:52and you have all of the women in another campus
- 1:18:54on the other side. And men are men. You're
- 1:18:57dealing with college guys who are a few
- 1:18:59years older. And so we used to have these fights.
- 1:19:01They used to take place between the staff versus
- 1:19:03the... God, that just brings back memories. One
- 1:19:08of the guys got so drunk but he fell off one
- 1:19:11of the balconies and lands on the floor and is
- 1:19:13so drunk he doesn't realize what just took place.
- 1:19:16He's like, oh, what just, what happened, man? What
- 1:19:19happened? When you, God, man, did some of the
- 1:19:21that we used to do. Oh my God. Alcohol. Dude,
- 1:19:24I had a roommate. Okay. He was, we'll
- 1:19:28call him Chris because his name was Chris. So
- 1:19:32we were three musketeers, me, Dan, and Chris.
- 1:19:35We all got expelled from college together, right?
- 1:19:38But before we got expelled, one morning, Chris
- 1:19:43and Dan and I go to a party across campus. It's
- 1:19:46sponsored by these girls. Dan and I find
- 1:19:49it boring, so we leave and go back to our dorms
- 1:19:52and go to sleep. Chris stays. He's like, I'm
- 1:19:55going to hang out. He's flirting with some girl.
- 1:19:56And we're like, maybe Chris is going to get some
- 1:19:58for once. Anyway, the next morning, no Chris.
- 1:20:02And we're like, we don't think anything of it.
- 1:20:03We figure he's sleeping with some
- 1:20:05girl. Evening rolls around. And we're
- 1:20:08like, it's a little worrisome. No Chris.
- 1:20:12He hasn't shown up. It's not really like him.
- 1:20:14So we go back to the party, knock on the door.
- 1:20:18And they're like, no, no, no. He left shortly
- 1:20:20after you guys. And now we're starting to get
- 1:20:22worried because it's wait, he's been MIA
- 1:20:25now for nearly 24 hours. We're like, ah, God,
- 1:20:29what the fuck happened? And so we go to the elevator.
- 1:20:35We're waiting for the elevator. It takes a really
- 1:20:37long time. So we're like, fuck it. Let's take
- 1:20:39the stairs. We go into the stairwell. We round
- 1:20:42the corner. And there's Chris in a pool of every
- 1:20:46bodily secretion, right? Out cold. Unconscious
- 1:20:54the entire time. He's been out for 20 hours.
- 1:20:58So we're like, oh, he got that drunk. Yeah. He got
- 1:21:07that drunk. He was still out. So we went and got
- 1:21:10we went to the janitor's closet and got
- 1:21:12a bucket of water and would sploosh and
- 1:21:17woke him up. That's insane. That's how drunk people
- 1:21:22get, right? Yeah, that's insane. See, I've never
- 1:21:25been that drunk. I've been drunk enough where
- 1:21:27I've never been drunk to the point of unconsciousness.
- 1:21:30Oh, I have. Yeah. Yeah. I've never been that drunk.
- 1:21:33I've never been. I've never been Chris drunk, though.
- 1:21:36Well, and I maintain my waking state of consciousness,
- 1:21:38meaning I'm still this person even when my body
- 1:21:42is trying to throw up and everything else.
- 1:21:44It's I'm like it's almost like there's something
- 1:21:46behind that way. Yeah. I'm like you that way.
- 1:21:49I have presence of mind. It's being that
- 1:21:51drunk is not going to make me, for example,
- 1:21:54want to have sex with an unconscious girl
- 1:21:56or something. It would be I'd still have the presence
- 1:21:58of mind. Time to go home, right? Help me. Help
- 1:22:01me understand what's fun about this. I don't understand.
- 1:22:05That's okay. I don't get that. No, I mean about
- 1:22:08getting so drunk that you're out of your mind,
- 1:22:12passing out, pissing all over yourself. I do not
- 1:22:16understand the thrill. Why would anyone put something
- 1:22:21in their body that breaks your mind? But the
- 1:22:25goal is not to get to that point. The goal is
- 1:22:27to get to a nice sweet spot, but people overshoot
- 1:22:30the sweet spot. That's exactly what it is.
- 1:22:32So people, this is about young people who
- 1:22:35are learning how to drink and they don't know
- 1:22:37how to drink, right? So they drink too much.
- 1:22:41It's kind of like you're testing your limits
- 1:22:43as a kid. How much can I get away with with my
- 1:22:45parents? How sassy and spicy can I be with my
- 1:22:48parents before they hit me? This is like that.
- 1:22:50How many drinks can I have before I end up with
- 1:22:53bedspins or unconscious in the stairwell or whatever?
- 1:22:57By the time you're my age, you know how many
- 1:23:01drinks you can have, and it doesn't happen anymore.
- 1:23:04There are some people who want to get smashed.
- 1:23:09And I have certainly been in that mode,
- 1:23:12during a breakup or something like that. But
- 1:23:14usually it's just what Jamarl says. But in terms
- 1:23:18of the drinking itself, you're doing it because
- 1:23:21it loosens you up. And it's especially
- 1:23:25if you're, you have inhibitions and you're
- 1:23:28uptight and you're maybe shy and you're
- 1:23:30scared to talk to girls or whatever. It's sort
- 1:23:33of, it gives you some liquid courage. The
- 1:23:36music is playing. The atmosphere is good.
- 1:23:40When we used to play chess we used to drink and
- 1:23:42play chess or smoke pot. It depends on the person.
- 1:23:44Each person had their own vice. But
- 1:23:48these are older men, right? So it's my bottle
- 1:23:50of Courvoisier. I know how much to drink and maintain
- 1:23:53myself, right? Or the guy's smoking. I know
- 1:23:56how much to maintain and maintain my faculties.
- 1:23:58Yeah. I like to drink. I like to drink wine
- 1:24:01when I play chess but it's not good for my chess
- 1:24:03playing. Oh, I used to do tequila. God, man, I
- 1:24:07remember this guy who, for the life of him, could
- 1:24:10not understand why he kept losing. And so he
- 1:24:12kept buying shots of tequila. And I think I was
- 1:24:14picking seven shots in, and he was still losing
- 1:24:16the game. And by the time I had left, I was so
- 1:24:20smashed. And I remember getting home, throwing
- 1:24:22up, and just passing out. But he never won a game.
- 1:24:26He still never won a game. Oh, I'm sure. No,
- 1:24:30I was totally smashed. But again, I don't really
- 1:24:33drink like that. I don't know. So Duskburn about
- 1:24:36this rape case says she described thinking that
- 1:24:40if she passed out and the men had sex with her,
- 1:24:43they could be charged with rape. The only reference
- 1:24:45of rape mentioned in the document, according
- 1:24:47to ABC News. Wait, I don't get it. And also,
- 1:24:52Sierra Julia, sorry, as a woman who's been raped
- 1:24:57on campus, I do not believe her. It was a wild
- 1:24:59party. Kids were being idiots. Keep your legs
- 1:25:02closed and have respect for your body. Boys,
- 1:25:05keep it zipped. True. I do accept that.
- 1:25:08But the problem is the five other guys.
- 1:25:12Meaning, if you say, okay, I'm going to take
- 1:25:14this cut of me and I'm going to let two guys
- 1:25:16have sex with me. That's what I want. That's
- 1:25:18my, that's within my wants right now for whatever
- 1:25:20particular reason and then they turn around and
- 1:25:23say hey guys the door's open let's have some
- 1:25:26fun. Okay that's deeply problematic. Oh yeah. And
- 1:25:30I agree with all of you making the point to say
- 1:25:32well look she was defenseless. She allowed
- 1:25:34herself to be put into this particular position.
- 1:25:36Although that's true but that doesn't, that doesn't
- 1:25:39absolve exactly the dudes at all. Yeah.
- 1:25:43That's what I was going to ask. That doesn't really
- 1:25:44absolve them for saying, hey, the door is open.
- 1:25:46Come on in. Have sex with this woman who gave
- 1:25:49us consent. In fact, quite the opposite. I hate
- 1:25:52to say it, but let's say you're one of the two
- 1:25:54guys. You should be, and she passes
- 1:25:58out. At that point, you're supposed to lock the
- 1:26:02door, put a blanket over her, put a glass of
- 1:26:05water next to her and leave and tell all the
- 1:26:08other dudes to stay the fuck out of her room,
- 1:26:10right? Well, she agreed to have sex with the
- 1:26:11two guys. Yeah, but I'm saying the first two
- 1:26:14guys should have looked out for her.
- 1:26:17No, I guess I'm saying, no, I agree with you
- 1:26:19that the first two guys should have looked out
- 1:26:20for her. I'm saying the entire point of it all
- 1:26:22was to have sex with somebody on ketamine, meaning
- 1:26:25they were accomplishing their objective. The
- 1:26:27issue comes in where they allow five other guys
- 1:26:29to come in, meaning it's her right to say, I
- 1:26:31want to fuck two guys on ketamine. Yeah, totally.
- 1:26:33I have the right to do that. Yeah. I don't take
- 1:26:37issue with it, right? There's nothing wrong with
- 1:26:39having group sex. That's not the issue here.
- 1:26:41There's nothing wrong with having group sex.
- 1:26:42I don't mean to take issue with you taking ketamine
- 1:26:44and having group sex. The issue is you decided
- 1:26:46to do that shit with two kids who didn't give
- 1:26:48a shit about you and who brought in a bunch of
- 1:26:50other guys to have fun with. Yeah, in a frat,
- 1:26:52which is probably not a safe zone. Of all places.
- 1:26:56I guess for me, and I realize I'm coming from
- 1:27:01this from my experience with it. I grew up. There's
- 1:27:04a whole lot in this world that scares me. Alcohol
- 1:27:06and drugs is one of them. Anything that screws
- 1:27:08with my mind because I see how destructive it
- 1:27:10is. And I don't think that people have enough
- 1:27:15respect for just how destructive and how absolutely
- 1:27:19evil, and I'm using that word deliberately, those
- 1:27:22substances are. If you do that, you're putting
- 1:27:27yourself at the mercy of other people and you
- 1:27:32have no idea what's going to happen. Look, I
- 1:27:34would say pot opens my heart center. Meaning
- 1:27:37it makes me feel more. It makes me give a shit
- 1:27:40more. It makes me care more in a way that gives
- 1:27:42me a different perspective on people, reality,
- 1:27:45situations, all sorts of shit in a way that just
- 1:27:48wouldn't even cross my mind under normal circumstances.
- 1:27:53I am not a fan of alcohol. My grandfather was
- 1:27:55alcoholic. It's extraordinarily destructive.
- 1:28:01And so I have issues with it. Alcohol in general,
- 1:28:03right? I don't like. I'm not a big fan of drunks.
- 1:28:06I'm not a big fan of alcoholics especially. I
- 1:28:07don't even like to be around them having a drink
- 1:28:09or something. I don't really care about. And
- 1:28:12I would go to a bar and drink and smoke with
- 1:28:14somebody if we hung out and that type
- 1:28:16of stuff but alcoholics less so. But pot it's
- 1:28:21not. I don't know. It's different. Maybe
- 1:28:25Blues Funk is calling us to task here. You
- 1:28:28guys have had some really bizarre takes on women
- 1:28:30recently. Please elaborate. Please elaborate.
- 1:28:35Yeah, correct me on it. Because I could
- 1:28:36be wrong. You're talking to three men
- 1:28:38who may have a certain take. Again, my
- 1:28:41take is that this is rape if she's right. So
- 1:28:45I don't know how that's... The thing
- 1:28:47is, it's so fucked up, right? Because it's
- 1:28:50how do you... The system isn't set up to deal
- 1:28:55with a situation like this. It's
- 1:28:59what are the authorities?
- 1:29:03The authorities suck when it comes to rape accusations.
- 1:29:05But in fairness to the campus police and to Ithaca's
- 1:29:08finest, what are they supposed to do when you
- 1:29:11come to them and there were drugs
- 1:29:14involved? And people were unconscious and
- 1:29:17some people may have been there and might not
- 1:29:19have been there. And there's no physical evidence
- 1:29:22and everything is the first reports were
- 1:29:24three weeks late. It's all so famished,
- 1:29:28right? And the believe women thing doesn't really
- 1:29:30apply because that's not really the way the law
- 1:29:32works. You have to. Right, not to mention,
- 1:29:35I would say listen to women, listen to men, listen
- 1:29:39to everybody, but don't believe, don't
- 1:29:43just believe people. Well you have a burden of
- 1:29:45proof that you're stuck with meaning even if
- 1:29:48the rape took place even if everything in this
- 1:29:50happened exactly the same way that she said it
- 1:29:52happened you still have a burden of proof that
- 1:29:55you have to prove. Yeah. I'll be honest
- 1:29:58here. I think I do believe her. And
- 1:30:02I kind of think so. I think ethically,
- 1:30:05legally those five last guys all or some or most
- 1:30:11of them or some of them are rapists, right? All
- 1:30:13of them are rapists. But the question is, what
- 1:30:15the fuck can you do about it under our system
- 1:30:17where you can only send someone to prison when
- 1:30:21you can convict beyond a reasonable doubt? I
- 1:30:24don't think any prosecutor could convince any
- 1:30:27jury of 12 men and women to convict beyond a
- 1:30:31reasonable doubt with this amount of evidence
- 1:30:34unless there's stuff that we haven't heard yet,
- 1:30:36which they're very well aware of. I think they
- 1:30:36can get the conviction, but I don't know if the
- 1:30:38conviction is legit. Because as you point out,
- 1:30:40how do you convict beyond a reasonable doubt?
- 1:30:43Less than two guys just come on and say,
- 1:30:44yeah, we invited five other guys in. Yeah. If
- 1:30:48they do that, fair enough. The Snapchat does
- 1:30:51provide evidence. Yes. Yeah. But it's...
- 1:30:57It's evidence. It's not proof. Yeah.
- 1:30:59The problem is, if they indeed invited
- 1:31:02the five other guys in, they're all guilty, right?
- 1:31:05Not just the five that were brought in,
- 1:31:07but the two that allowed the other two to come
- 1:31:09in to rape her in the first place. Meaning,
- 1:31:11for one, look, ladies, if you're in college,
- 1:31:14keep in mind you're dealing with a 17-year-old
- 1:31:17or 18-year-old. You're dealing with a child,
- 1:31:20right? Yeah. I know they may say things to you
- 1:31:25in order to get you. There's a song by Florence
- 1:31:27and the Machine where she, what is it called?
- 1:31:31Sympathy for, sympathy, sympathy for love, sympathy
- 1:31:34for something. But in part of the song, she goes
- 1:31:38into this thing of love where she's saying it
- 1:31:41out loud and it cuts through you, right? Like
- 1:31:43a wind. But then you realize that there's a part
- 1:31:46of it where it goes into very sexual behavior
- 1:31:48where she's laying on the ground and
- 1:31:50hopping in the air and stuff like that. And you
- 1:31:51think to yourself, okay, but these two things,
- 1:31:53what she's saying in the headspace that
- 1:31:57the person is in, the headspace is, I'm in love
- 1:32:00with this person. This is love. This is pure
- 1:32:02love. And then it's but love's being fused
- 1:32:05with sex. Both of these things are coming in
- 1:32:07correlation with one another. But how do you
- 1:32:09know that that's in the other person's mind?
- 1:32:11The song is amazing to me. Sympathy of Magic
- 1:32:14or something. Magic Sympathy or something. Whatever
- 1:32:17the song is. It's in her mind. The entire
- 1:32:21song is something that's happening in a person's
- 1:32:23mind. And I thought to myself, if she's 18 and
- 1:32:27you're dealing with another 18-year-old, that's
- 1:32:29not in his mind. The song is amazing in a way
- 1:32:34that it fuses sex and love together as one thing,
- 1:32:36as if this is one solid note that is coming out
- 1:32:39of this particular individual. You have no fucking
- 1:32:40clue what's in that person's mind. If they're
- 1:32:4217, 18, 19, it's probably not love. It wasn't
- 1:32:46love for me at that age. It was for me. Really?
- 1:32:51I was head over heels. Yeah, totally. Wow. I
- 1:32:56was head over heels later in life. Yeah.
- 1:33:00You can definitely be insanely in love at that
- 1:33:06age. No question about it. Of course. No, no.
- 1:33:10I'm not taking it away. I'm just saying many
- 1:33:13guys, 17, 18, 19, there is a very strong urge
- 1:33:21that is in those guys. Oh, no, it's
- 1:33:24fucking insane. Honestly,
- 1:33:27probably, boys that age should be locked
- 1:33:29up and not allowed to walk around in society.
- 1:33:35She took my virginity, the first woman I had
- 1:33:38direct sex with. So here we go. Okay, so maybe
- 1:33:41Blues Funk elaborated a little bit, not just protective-like.
- 1:33:45We also need to confront men and not just
- 1:33:50make our lives small because of fear. They should
- 1:33:54be afraid that we'll fight back. Wait, I don't
- 1:33:57know what that means, though. I'm not really
- 1:33:58sure what that means either. But I think what
- 1:34:01it basically means is that women shouldn't have,
- 1:34:03why should women be living a life of fear, right?
- 1:34:06They shouldn't be living a life of fear, which
- 1:34:07was the reason why I made the argument. A woman
- 1:34:11has every right to say, I want to take care of
- 1:34:15me and I want to have sex with you. God bless
- 1:34:18her, right? Yeah, seriously. That is nothing
- 1:34:22wrong with that. That's her choice. For me, that's
- 1:34:24a free will issue. It is not up for the other
- 1:34:27guys to say, hey guys, the party's here. Let's
- 1:34:31all have sex with this unconscious woman who
- 1:34:34had no idea. Yeah, fuck that Brett Kavanaugh
- 1:34:37bullshit. Yeah, no. It's nonsense. Meaning,
- 1:34:40even if she is vulnerable. You shouldn't have
- 1:34:44to be worried about all the more reason if, look,
- 1:34:46if anyone is vulnerable, that's basic
- 1:34:50humanity that you should protect them
- 1:34:53and take care of them. I didn't leave Chris in
- 1:34:55the stairwell. You know what I mean? It's
- 1:34:58when you see
- 1:35:00people in trouble, you're supposed to protect
- 1:35:02them. No, I remember one night,
- 1:35:07look, and by the way, I do really
- 1:35:10appreciate this comment from Duskburn. I respect
- 1:35:12JT and Ted and Robby for literally just being
- 1:35:14straight with their audience, even if they're
- 1:35:17fucked up, LOL. I don't think we're fucked up.
- 1:35:20How are we fucked up? We're talking about hard,
- 1:35:24real shit here. One time I met a girl at a bar
- 1:35:27and we went to her place and things got literally
- 1:35:33right up to the point of penetration. And then
- 1:35:35she said, I'd rather just stop
- 1:35:39at this point and maybe we can just hug. And
- 1:35:41I was like, listen. So I stopped immediately.
- 1:35:45I was drunk, but I have that presence of mind.
- 1:35:47I stopped and I was like, you know what? I should
- 1:35:50just go home. And I went home. But what are you
- 1:35:51supposed to do? I went home and I jerked off.
- 1:35:53Right. But I remember thinking to myself, I will
- 1:35:59never. She's this is dangerous, right?
- 1:36:02She might do this with someone else and
- 1:36:05if she takes some dumb-ass jock home
- 1:36:08it might end badly and I was just thinking
- 1:36:10now did I, was I a hero? No I just did what you're
- 1:36:13supposed to do. But the fact
- 1:36:18is there's physical... No, women shouldn't be
- 1:36:21more afraid than men. But the fact is that men,
- 1:36:23on average, are bigger and stronger than women.
- 1:36:25So it's the reality of the physical composition
- 1:36:30of our species. Yeah, I just... In that
- 1:36:34moment, were we supposed to be forced to switch
- 1:36:35to the Foreigner? That's what I mean.
- 1:36:38I don't even see... It's not being a hero.
- 1:36:41Maybe Blues Funk says, yeah, again, the
- 1:36:43way you're framing this, it's all about what
- 1:36:45the man needs. Not at all. I'm framing it by
- 1:36:49what the man needs? No. I'm going to catch some
- 1:36:53flack from what I'm about to say. And I understand
- 1:36:55that. First time ever. But I'm coming
- 1:36:59to y'all as sincerely and as open-hearted as
- 1:37:03I possibly can. If I had it my way, if I was
- 1:37:07made dictator, I would ban drugs. God help us
- 1:37:10all. I would ban alcohol. And anyone who was
- 1:37:13caught selling it would be executed because of
- 1:37:15how dangerous this crap is. It's a very, very
- 1:37:19dangerous drug. And people play with it. People
- 1:37:21use it. It kills tens of thousands of people.
- 1:37:25And the reason why I'm coming at this, I have
- 1:37:26been the victims of it. I've got the scars on
- 1:37:30my body from where my mother threw boiling hot
- 1:37:32water on me when I was five years old because
- 1:37:34I asked her for something to eat because she
- 1:37:36was stolen out of her mind. My father broke my
- 1:37:39left arm because he was drunk out of his mind.
- 1:37:42There is nothing good at all. At all. At all.
- 1:37:47About drugs or alcohol. It is a poison. Run away
- 1:37:52from it. Seriously. What I'm saying is going to
- 1:37:58piss people off and people say there's Robby
- 1:38:01being a Nazi. Fine. So be it. But that's where I'm
- 1:38:04coming from. I'm being as honest with
- 1:38:06y'all as I can. If you love your kids encourage
- 1:38:10them to stay away from this crap. And football.
- 1:38:12No football. I would tell you that I would ban
- 1:38:15hamburgers if you're going to ban alcohol. I
- 1:38:18would ban fast food places. There's so much shit
- 1:38:21that you could ban that's going to cause people
- 1:38:22to die and all this other stuff. Objectively,
- 1:38:26look, everything Robby said is right.
- 1:38:28First of all, I hate drugs. I don't think everything
- 1:38:30Robby said was right. I don't think that this
- 1:38:33stuff is without alcohol. Okay, fair enough.
- 1:38:36Again, it's a little complicated, but
- 1:38:40overall. Meaning, my grandfather was an
- 1:38:44asshole even before the alcohol. Sure. I have
- 1:38:48other family members who were fucked up before
- 1:38:50the drugs. It wasn't the drugs. They were already
- 1:38:52fucked. In vino veritas, right? In wine, truth.
- 1:38:58It's when people are,
- 1:39:01drugs, especially alcohol, tends to expose your
- 1:39:04real personality. It doesn't turn nice people
- 1:39:07into monsters. Yeah. I don't know any
- 1:39:09person who... It's when Mel Gibson was pulled
- 1:39:13over by that cop and he spewed off a bunch of
- 1:39:15anti-Semitic bullshit. Yeah, that's Mel Gibson.
- 1:39:19Yeah, a non-anti-Semitic guy isn't going
- 1:39:23to do that. Right. He doesn't think that, right?
- 1:39:27I don't know. Alcohol, yeah. Pot? I gotta
- 1:39:31be honest. I don't know anybody on pot who was
- 1:39:33wild and belligerent. If anything, they just
- 1:39:36chill the fuck out. Oh, I... The only time I
- 1:39:40did pot to any significant amount, I got belligerent.
- 1:39:45Did you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not good for
- 1:39:47me at all. Even Chris, the degenerate druggie,
- 1:39:50he said I should never have pot ever. The people
- 1:39:55who I knew had pot, they were just... I'm basically
- 1:39:57allergic to it. Yeah, they were just zoners.
- 1:40:00And like I said, for me, just... So Matina has
- 1:40:02the question here. How do we make men consider
- 1:40:05the woman as a person? That is the question.
- 1:40:09Well, we all need to be considering each other
- 1:40:11as people. But I'm still, I'm old school.
- 1:40:15I do think men as the bigger, physically larger
- 1:40:19specimens of the species should be protective
- 1:40:22of women. Right. And if you know
- 1:40:25a woman is vulnerable, you should protect her.
- 1:40:28You should protect the vulnerable in our society
- 1:40:30should always be protected. But yeah,
- 1:40:33I think young guys often,
- 1:40:37they look at the opposite sex they
- 1:40:40don't know them well and they don't understand
- 1:40:42them and they don't view them as people and they
- 1:40:44view them as sex objects. In fairness it
- 1:40:46can go the other way around too. I knew lots of
- 1:40:48girls who just viewed man as a meal ticket or
- 1:40:51whatever. But it goes both ways just
- 1:40:55different ways. Yeah. Dehumanization. Yeah. Let me
- 1:40:59actually this so this happened in real
- 1:41:01life. So when I first got back to
- 1:41:04the States I partially blind still is
- 1:41:09you can't see up my left eye, blood pressure
- 1:41:11issues and there was this woman who at the time
- 1:41:16was showing interest and I didn't understand
- 1:41:18why. In fact I didn't understand what was going
- 1:41:21on with her if I'm being bluntly honest with
- 1:41:22her. This was when I was traveling at the time
- 1:41:24still relatively good health at the time when
- 1:41:27I was traveling and she was showing interest.
- 1:41:29I really didn't pay her any mind. I didn't
- 1:41:32wasn't feeling her that way anything else. When
- 1:41:34I lay back into the U.S. We meet up and it's
- 1:41:38hey, all right, let's go paintball shooting.
- 1:41:41So for one, she doesn't dress for it. She has
- 1:41:45on almost a low top of sorts. And
- 1:41:50it's supposed to be a costume paintball party.
- 1:41:51So everybody was supposed to have costumes on
- 1:41:53when they had paintball. I end up as Superman.
- 1:41:55I forget. She ended up like a chef. But again,
- 1:41:58ill-prepared, not dressed for it. I had family
- 1:42:00members that came. And of course, the family
- 1:42:02members are like, who's that chick? Now, again,
- 1:42:04I wasn't bringing her there as a relationship
- 1:42:06thing. I was bringing her there just because
- 1:42:07I wanted, I think I was trying to make friends
- 1:42:10and I consider, okay, well, she's somebody new
- 1:42:13that I met, so I'll bring her with me, but it
- 1:42:15wasn't a relationship thing. She, everybody
- 1:42:19gets taken out of the game because everybody
- 1:42:21gets shot. She's the last person in. And the
- 1:42:25people have a pincer maneuver and ends up hitting
- 1:42:28her with three different shots, back
- 1:42:31to back to back. And she flips out. She loses
- 1:42:34her shit. The
- 1:42:38level of rage that came out of her was shocking. So shocking that
- 1:42:41my family member was like, who's this gangster
- 1:42:43chick that you're all... Right? It was
- 1:42:48shocking. All of us were like, whoa. She's
- 1:42:51you motherfuckers. You effing...
- 1:42:53Dropping 20 f-bombs. She was furious. Yeah.
- 1:42:56Furious. And I'm sitting there, watching
- 1:43:00this, whoa. That's the only thing that's
- 1:43:03on my mind. Whoa. And we go back. And come
- 1:43:07to find out, she's pissed off at me. And I'm
- 1:43:10why are you pissed off at me? I don't even
- 1:43:12realize she's pissed off at me until later. And
- 1:43:14her thing was basically, you didn't defend me.
- 1:43:17Defend you how? You didn't go and what was I
- 1:43:21supposed to do? Have a fight with the people
- 1:43:22who shot you? And to be fair, they did shoot
- 1:43:26multiple times. These are guys who do paintball
- 1:43:27all the time. And they play paintball the way.
- 1:43:30Ted and I used to play chess. We used to be malicious
- 1:43:32when we used to play chess with each other. We
- 1:43:33used to try to humiliate the other person in
- 1:43:35public when we played chess. It's oh, look
- 1:43:37at that guy. He's sweating under his arms. He's
- 1:43:39getting his ass kicked. Oh, look at him. Everybody.
- 1:43:41And we want people to laugh. They
- 1:43:43played paintball in that kind of way, the malicious
- 1:43:45way. And her thing was kind of well, I
- 1:43:48wanted you to fight. Or at the very least, I
- 1:43:50wanted you to defend, quote, defend women. And
- 1:43:53it's you're in a paintball game. You're
- 1:43:56ill dressed for it. If you would have dressed
- 1:43:57for it properly, it wouldn't have hurt as much.
- 1:44:00There's that. And in general, it's paintball.
- 1:44:04It hurts. That's why I don't play paintball.
- 1:44:08But that's why I do play paintball. It's the
- 1:44:10risk. The risk is the part of it. The fact
- 1:44:13that you don't get hit. The fact that there's
- 1:44:16pain when you do get hit. That's the point. She
- 1:44:20was pissed. Yeah. Yeah. For one, I think she
- 1:44:23was a lunatic. There's that. So it's not a loss.
- 1:44:25It kind of sounds like that. What did she expect?
- 1:44:28Did she expect somebody who literally
- 1:44:31got out the hospital a while ago has a blood
- 1:44:34pressure of 60 over 30 and is partially
- 1:44:36blind to go have a fight with people who shot
- 1:44:39you in the middle of the game?
- 1:44:46To me this was okay she's insane and my family
- 1:44:48even looked at it as you're insane and yeah.
- 1:44:53So this is interesting here. Jessica says,
- 1:44:58maybe if consequences for sexual assault and
- 1:44:59rape were a guarantee, men would make more of
- 1:45:02an effort to understand women. I know, but how
- 1:45:05do you prove that the guy did it or that the
- 1:45:08woman is not faking it? Well, nothing's a consequence
- 1:45:10for, nothing for any crime is a consequence,
- 1:45:13is a guaranteed consequence, right?
- 1:45:16It's saying if there were, if
- 1:45:18it was guaranteed that you'd be, there'd be a
- 1:45:20consequence for robbing a bank or whatever.
- 1:45:23But there isn't. I think most college-aged
- 1:45:26men don't think there will be consequences. You
- 1:45:30know what I got to tell you? Knowledge is the
- 1:45:32issue. I got to say, I think maybe there's a
- 1:45:35point here that's more about, honestly,
- 1:45:38your brain's not really fully formed until you're
- 1:45:40about 25. You don't really have a sense of consequence
- 1:45:44in general when you're that age, right?
- 1:45:48That's why. Just give me an example
- 1:45:51not sexual at all. I locked myself out of my dorm
- 1:45:55room once. My dorm room was on the 10th floor
- 1:45:57of John Jay Hall. I was not in the mood to go
- 1:46:02and to the housing office and wait two hours
- 1:46:05to get a spare key. So I went to the bathroom
- 1:46:08and I walked on the outside of the building on
- 1:46:13a ledge that was about a foot wide. And I knew
- 1:46:16my window was open and crawled through the window
- 1:46:18of my dorm. I would do that today. I'm an idiot.
- 1:46:22Okay. I was, but I was an idiot at, I
- 1:46:26was really an idiot at 19. And you're more,
- 1:46:30you don't consider the consequences.
- 1:46:31Now, if I was going to do that, I'd be far
- 1:46:34more, do I want to do this? Maybe I would.
- 1:46:39Maybe I would. But the point is, but the point
- 1:46:42is. I didn't even give it much thought. I'm
- 1:46:45yeah, what the fuck? That's the point,
- 1:46:48right? And it's you do a lot of shit like
- 1:46:50that. I walked on the subway
- 1:46:53tracks, on active subway tracks, did all sorts
- 1:46:55of stupid shit. I drove 120 miles an hour.
- 1:47:00I did shit because you're fucking young.
- 1:47:03And so it's I think it's sort of
- 1:47:07asking 18, 19, 20 year olds to be responsible
- 1:47:11is, it's kind of good luck.
- 1:47:14That'd be nice. Good luck. Are you serious? Accidentally
- 1:47:17did not be rapist. Well not to be raped should
- 1:47:21not be rapist. That's easy.
- 1:47:23When that's easy. Honestly. And yeah. Yeah.
- 1:47:29I think the problem with it.
- 1:47:31I'm 63 years old and when I was 18 I knew I knew
- 1:47:35if a girl was out of it that
- 1:47:37the only thing to do was to put a blanket
- 1:47:41on her and leave, right? I knew that. The problem
- 1:47:43is straightforward and it's a human issue. It's
- 1:47:45not even just a man issue. Women just so happen
- 1:47:48to have the unfortunate distinction of having
- 1:47:50a resource that men don't have access to without
- 1:47:53dealing with the women. And just like oil in the
- 1:47:58Middle East was oh, you have the misfortune
- 1:47:59of being born on a country that
- 1:48:03has oil and that the United States kind of wants
- 1:48:05to get access to. Not everybody is going to be
- 1:48:08the most moral, honest, ethical in dealing with
- 1:48:12women and trying to get that particular resource
- 1:48:14any more than the U.S. is in trying to get the
- 1:48:16resources from Iran, Venezuela or Iraq. Meaning
- 1:48:19it's a human issue. It's not just a man. It's
- 1:48:21just a human issue. Women do something similar
- 1:48:23in regards to going after men sometimes. Specifically
- 1:48:25in this case. And her point is, how do we get
- 1:48:28men to be decent human beings to not do this?
- 1:48:31Part of it is, it's how they're raised.
- 1:48:35It's about, certainly it's frustrating.
- 1:48:39I would really like, the thing is, there's
- 1:48:40no, okay, so sex 99% of the time, 99.999%
- 1:48:46of the time happens behind closed doors, right?
- 1:48:48So there's no witness by definition. There's
- 1:48:51no camera most of the time, right? So. It's kind
- 1:48:55of so anything that happens, especially
- 1:48:58it often involves people use alcohol to loosen
- 1:49:01themselves up so that they can get brave enough
- 1:49:03to have sex or to ask for sex. And the contradiction
- 1:49:08of having men to be hunters while simultaneously
- 1:49:11telling them at times, stop hunting. Right. This
- 1:49:16is not an excuse, by the way. I'm not trying
- 1:49:19to craft an excuse. It's just kind of a
- 1:49:21problem that you don't know how, I don't know
- 1:49:23how you solve it. But that's a human problem.
- 1:49:27That's a problem of humanity in general. How
- 1:49:29do you make moral people? How do you make ethical
- 1:49:31people? How do you make people not do shit that's
- 1:49:33protestably violent or illegal? That's
- 1:49:36true with government. That's true with individuals.
- 1:49:39That's true across the board. What's crazy is
- 1:49:41we all as a society agree from a very early age
- 1:49:44that rape is one of the absolute worst things
- 1:49:46that a human being can do to one another. And
- 1:49:49yet, so many people do it. There's not
- 1:49:53a lot of crimes that we have broad agreement
- 1:49:56are really bad and that, yet lots of people
- 1:49:59do, except rape is one of them.
- 1:50:03We broadly agree murder is wrong, and most
- 1:50:06of us don't do it. Well,
- 1:50:10the majority of humanity, I don't think, does
- 1:50:12it. Right. Right. No, I think most people just
- 1:50:16want to be decent people. But it's an intimate
- 1:50:20crime. And it's a crime specific to the
- 1:50:24individuals in this case. I guess you
- 1:50:26can have gang rapes, of course. But in this case...
- 1:50:28As in this case. As in this case. But oftentimes,
- 1:50:33as you point out, it's silent. It's independent.
- 1:50:36And that's kind of a... So with that, you have
- 1:50:39no witnesses. You have... Yeah. It's...
- 1:50:43So it's... The problem is, it's... We set up
- 1:50:46the... We set up... Our culture sets up a situation
- 1:50:50where it's going to keep happening. And there's
- 1:50:53no way really to hold anyone accountable in a
- 1:50:56reliable way after it happens. That's the issue.
- 1:51:00So that's why it's an ongoing problem. Videotape
- 1:51:03all six? Maybe. Yeah. Look, remember,
- 1:51:07do you remember the Antioch College rules?
- 1:51:10Where I remember one of my early cartoons was
- 1:51:13about this, but it was sort of
- 1:51:15now at this time, I would like to gently
- 1:51:19stroke in a counterclockwise manner your right
- 1:51:22knuckle of your, of the, of one of your
- 1:51:27fingers if is that acceptable? Yes I hereby consent
- 1:51:31to that at this time. No more. Please initial. Yes.
- 1:51:34Yes. Please sign here. We have to call
- 1:51:38a notary and use it and you every single step
- 1:51:41of a sexual encounter was supposed to be
- 1:51:44specifically verbally consented to. Of
- 1:51:48course that's just not how. Romance,
- 1:51:50seduction, it doesn't work that way.
- 1:51:53Who the hell wants to have sex like that? Yeah,
- 1:51:55I cut off my dick first. Are you kidding?
- 1:51:58Approved. Yeah, that's not the way it works.
- 1:52:04No, it's just not reality. So it turns out that
- 1:52:07the pilot on the Israel-bound flight, according
- 1:52:11to Netanyahu, so who knows if this is true, but
- 1:52:14apparently the co-pilot stabbed the pilot. I
- 1:52:20don't know if that's true. No, no, that is what
- 1:52:23is being... Oh, wow. So remember Christa Pike,
- 1:52:28the woman who would be executed in Tennessee?
- 1:52:31This is a big death penalty case. Anyway, a court
- 1:52:37has one hour before she was supposed to be executed,
- 1:52:40she got a stay from the court. Did she? Can you
- 1:52:45imagine the stress? Can you imagine the stress
- 1:52:48of that? Yeah, she was going to be the first
- 1:52:51woman executed in Tennessee in 200 years. So
- 1:52:55she lured a friend. She was 18 years old. She
- 1:53:03and a friend lured a third friend out into the
- 1:53:06woods and basically stabbed their friend to death
- 1:53:12for fun. How do we get women to stop luring other
- 1:53:16women and stabbing them? It does remind me of
- 1:53:22the Slenderman case. It reminds me of the Heavenly
- 1:53:25Creatures case in Australia. Or New Zealand.
- 1:53:30How do we get women to stop doing this? Yeah,
- 1:53:34such an ongoing problem. Such a hard problem.
- 1:53:39All right, well, we have to talk about ICE a
- 1:53:41little bit. So ICE is going to hire another 5,000
- 1:53:44people. I think that's just worth mentioning.
- 1:53:47I thought there were 500 people recently. Yeah,
- 1:53:49they were. Now they're going to hire more. Maybe
- 1:53:52they'll hire back the people that they fired.
- 1:53:54And the Supreme Court has issued an injunction
- 1:53:58allowing Trump to continue to send people to
- 1:54:01deport people to countries that they have nothing
- 1:54:03to do with, not the countries of their origin.
- 1:54:06I have a feeling they'll probably allow him to
- 1:54:08continue doing it on a permanent basis. The president
- 1:54:11has wide latitude. He does. I'm really interested
- 1:54:15in the question about the tax form, though. Oh,
- 1:54:24citizenship, yeah. Yeah, so basically it seems
- 1:54:27pretty innocent, right, at face value. Currently,
- 1:54:31Form 1040 does not care if you're a citizen or
- 1:54:34not or a legal resident. They just want to collect
- 1:54:36your taxes. And if you don't have a Social Security
- 1:54:38number, they don't care. The IRS just wants you
- 1:54:41to pay your taxes and whatever. So this would
- 1:54:45be a change. And it turns out that there's kind
- 1:54:48of two really sinister motives by the Trump administration.
- 1:54:52First of all, they're trying to scare legal immigrants
- 1:54:55into not filing their taxes, which would mean
- 1:54:58that they wouldn't qualify for things like the
- 1:55:00earned income, the earned tax credit. So in some
- 1:55:03cases you might owe, you might have to
- 1:55:06pay two hundred dollars but you would get a net
- 1:55:08one thousand dollars so you get, sorry, you eight
- 1:55:11hundred dollars back. They wouldn't get that because
- 1:55:14they'd be they're scared of filling
- 1:55:16out that group, that form so they'll drop out
- 1:55:18of the tax system and in other cases. It would
- 1:55:21turn people who are either undocumented workers
- 1:55:24or maybe not undocumented into tax evaders, which
- 1:55:28would then allow the administration to put them
- 1:55:31in prison. Yeah. Because obviously,
- 1:55:37if you have any question about your status, you're
- 1:55:41not going to get that. You may not get those
- 1:55:43taxes. If you're very concerned, especially
- 1:55:46if you're concerned that, well, if I put my address
- 1:55:48and everything else. ICE can just show up at
- 1:55:50my house and take me away. Yeah, it's sinister.
- 1:55:57See, this is one of those things where
- 1:56:01the government should not want to put that on
- 1:56:03the form. Under normal circumstances,
- 1:56:06for good sense reasons, you want people to file
- 1:56:09their taxes, in which case you don't want them
- 1:56:11to have any disincentive of it. It's kind of
- 1:56:13like college, where it's the amount of money
- 1:56:15that you pay for college is a disincentive to
- 1:56:17go to college, even though you want as many people
- 1:56:19to go to college as possible. For this kind of
- 1:56:21world economy that we have at our disposal. No,
- 1:56:24it's a disincentive. And yeah, you're right,
- 1:56:25it's sinister. Again, do you think any
- 1:56:28of this stuff is going to last beyond Trump?
- 1:56:30Well, God, I'm so glad you mentioned that. I'm
- 1:56:33obsessed with that question. I think most of
- 1:56:36it will. A lot of it will. Let's put
- 1:56:38it this way. We're not going to get a Charles
- 1:56:40de Gaulle situation where the next president
- 1:56:42comes in and signs an executive order that says
- 1:56:44all executive orders issued for the last four
- 1:56:47years are invalid by definition. You could, but
- 1:56:50they're not going to do that. No, I think they're
- 1:56:51going to keep a lot of this shit. We
- 1:56:53know from history that Democratic presidents
- 1:56:56tend to keep Republican, a lot of stuff that
- 1:56:59Republican predecessors did. Not all, but a lot.
- 1:57:03And certainly the big important things. That
- 1:57:06citizenship question, it's not going
- 1:57:08to go away because here's the thing. Let's say
- 1:57:10you're President Newsom, or President
- 1:57:13Buttigieg. It's oh, we should get rid of
- 1:57:16that. That was a really gross Trump thing. It's
- 1:57:18but Mr. President, the Republicans are
- 1:57:22then going to characterize you as weak on illegal
- 1:57:24immigration. You don't want that. We're already
- 1:57:27a little bit down in the polls. You can't afford
- 1:57:29that. Yeah, you're right. Just let it stay on.
- 1:57:32That's the conversation they always have. The
- 1:57:35Sonali wing of the Democratic Party is going
- 1:57:39to scream bloody murder to get this thing off
- 1:57:42the form. Well, they should. And they are. I
- 1:57:46think they are. Look at what Joe Biden
- 1:57:47did when Trump got in office. Oh, we're going
- 1:57:50to open the border. He did it only because Donald
- 1:57:52Trump had such a border policy that he wanted
- 1:57:55to show that he's the opposite of Trump. He's
- 1:57:57different than Trump. So the first thing they
- 1:57:58did was remove some of the provisions that Donald
- 1:58:01Trump had around immigration and whatnot. Now,
- 1:58:03whether he should remove them or not is secondary
- 1:58:05to the point that he did it is the point that
- 1:58:07I'm trying to make. There are certain issues,
- 1:58:09especially things that don't cost Democrats money
- 1:58:11or things that don't go against their funders.
- 1:58:15They're bribers. But they'll do it. This will
- 1:58:19cost the Treasury. Yeah, well, it will
- 1:58:21put some money into the Treasury's pocket a little
- 1:58:24bit. A drop in the bucket, I would imagine.
- 1:58:27Yeah, but it's not raising taxes on the rich.
- 1:58:29It's not Medicare for All. It's not any of these
- 1:58:32things that will be lifts. This is remove this
- 1:58:37thing off the thing. Hey, am I not great for
- 1:58:40doing this on my illegal? But we can still stipulate
- 1:58:44the odds of this going, continuing,
- 1:58:47going away under a Democratic administration
- 1:58:50are not 100%, right? True. Yes. Agreed. No, I
- 1:58:54agree with you. They keep a lot of that stuff,
- 1:58:56like the Obama stuff, the taxes, the grotesque
- 1:59:01tax cuts. And Democrats called them everything
- 1:59:04but a child of God, and Obama kept 80%.
- 1:59:06So, yeah, they'll keep them, most of it. This
- 1:59:10is a good question for Robby. Robby, how do
- 1:59:12you support guns which get to be dangerous in
- 1:59:14the wrong hands, but not drugs? That's easy because
- 1:59:17guns prevent the government from getting a monopoly
- 1:59:20on force. Alcohol doesn't do that. Drugs don't
- 1:59:24do that. No, but with guns, for example, let's
- 1:59:27take ICE, for example. If some goon kicks in
- 1:59:33my door, I will send him to be Jesus. I will
- 1:59:37shoot him. To take that collectively. If a government
- 1:59:41truly becomes tyrannical, for example
- 1:59:44how Black Lives Matter how they were saying
- 1:59:46that that the government is systemically racist
- 1:59:49that they are coming after Black people then
- 1:59:52the absolute worst thing that you could ever
- 1:59:54encourage Black people to do and Black pastors
- 1:59:56encourage Black people to do this is turn in
- 1:59:58your guns because at that point you are giving
- 2:00:00the state that you believe is oppressive a monopoly
- 2:00:03on force. The entire point of the Second Amendment
- 2:00:07is to hunt the two-legged monsters who are coming
- 2:00:09after you whether they're in a uniform or out.
- 2:00:12That's the difference. That's the distinction.
- 2:00:15One destroys your agency. One that's not really
- 2:00:19addressing the question. The question is how many
- 2:00:22people have gun violence versus drug violence.
- 2:00:25Yeah that depends on how you characterize
- 2:00:27it. I talk about self-defense and accidents or
- 2:00:29just murder because a lot of times
- 2:00:32with homicide that also that factors in. Well I think
- 2:00:35you have to count accidents and I think you have
- 2:00:36to count non-self-defense homicides.
- 2:00:40Yeah. We know that 70,000 Americans
- 2:00:43a year die every year from illegal drugs. We
- 2:00:47don't know. That is a factor in people
- 2:00:49who are using illegal drugs. Drugs kill a lot
- 2:00:51of people. Booze kills a lot of people. Guns
- 2:00:53kill a lot of people. But guns kill less, though.
- 2:00:57The difference is, though, is that Mao Zedong,
- 2:00:59I don't have much use for the guy, but he got
- 2:01:01this right. When he said that political power
- 2:01:03grows out of the barrel of a rifle. He's right. There's
- 2:01:07a lot of truth in that. Oh, that's totally true.
- 2:01:08And the last thing that you ever want to have
- 2:01:11happen is for a government, any government, to
- 2:01:14have a monopoly on force. Because at that point,
- 2:01:17when they go tyrannical, you have no way of fighting.
- 2:01:19That's not addressing the point. The
- 2:01:21fact that guns can be used to hunt delicious
- 2:01:24squirrels and that they can be used to kill asshole
- 2:01:28invading troops, all those things are great about
- 2:01:31guns. But like if a but, the fact
- 2:01:35is guns also are dangerous. So
- 2:01:41do the dangers justify? It's sort of
- 2:01:45saying like alcohol. In some cases, alcohol is
- 2:01:48good for you. Right. There's some studies
- 2:01:50that have shown that it reduces your chances
- 2:01:53of heart disease. But
- 2:01:57overall, it has a net negative. Nicotine
- 2:02:00can cause you to lose weight, which is great.
- 2:02:03But overall, it's bad for you. So the question
- 2:02:06is, are guns a net benefit or a net positive?
- 2:02:10They are a net benefit and they are a net positive
- 2:02:14because they keep the government from getting
- 2:02:17a monopoly on force. Alcohol and drugs do not
- 2:02:19do that. Now, one of the things. I think one
- 2:02:23of the reasons why we don't have rioting in the
- 2:02:25streets in this country right now is because
- 2:02:27too many of the, too much of the population is
- 2:02:29on depressants rather than form of a pill or
- 2:02:32because of alcohol. I think that just factors
- 2:02:35into it. I don't know. This country is, we live
- 2:02:38in a fascist government and all the gun
- 2:02:40owners aren't doing shit about it, right? That's
- 2:02:42my point. So what are you guys doing? You're
- 2:02:45not defending us. From who? From what? From our
- 2:02:49fascist government. Well, there are some people
- 2:02:52who tried to – they're called the Oath Keepers,
- 2:02:55and I'm pretty sure that the two people here
- 2:02:56to my left wanted to put them on a cross because
- 2:02:59they took their guns to resist, in my opinion,
- 2:03:03they're dead wrong, a fascist takeover of the
- 2:03:06state. Listen, just because you have guns does
- 2:03:10not mean – Wait a minute. Oath Keepers were involved
- 2:03:12in trying to have a fascist takeover of the state,
- 2:03:15meaning when they were looking at Trump, waiting
- 2:03:17for Trump to give the heads up for them to get
- 2:03:20their guns and then come to what they weren't
- 2:03:22doing that for me they weren't doing they weren't
- 2:03:25doing that for even right wing
- 2:03:28right-wingers they were doing it for a fascist
- 2:03:30takeover. Yeah and that's my and that's my whole
- 2:03:33point so if you don't want if you don't want
- 2:03:35a bunch of fascists to take over then the last
- 2:03:38thing that you ever have they had guns in order
- 2:03:42to do that. How many millions of Americans
- 2:03:47now let me put you this way if y'all are
- 2:03:50right and the government if the government is
- 2:03:52fascist and by the way I don't know if we're
- 2:03:55fascists we're definitely an oligarchy
- 2:03:56we're well on our way I would submit to you the
- 2:04:00only reason that we are not full-throated goose-stepping
- 2:04:02in Nazi Germany style is because so
- 2:04:05much of the American populace has guns. That's
- 2:04:09hard to say. I don't buy that, Robby. I don't know.
- 2:04:13But can you disprove it? I can't prove it. I'll
- 2:04:15disprove it in one way. Tons of the German
- 2:04:18population had, civilian population had guns
- 2:04:21before 1933. And it's not true that Nazi Germany
- 2:04:25took them away. It's not true. There's all these
- 2:04:27internet tropes about how
- 2:04:31the Nazis and the communists took away guns.
- 2:04:33They didn't. People in Germany had guns for hunting.
- 2:04:36They had tons of them. And they had pistols and
- 2:04:38rifles. Shit, that's what most Americans have
- 2:04:41is pistols and rifles. But you know what the
- 2:04:43German population also had? They also had a history
- 2:04:46of an unequal treaty called the Treaty of Versailles
- 2:04:48that your countrymen pushed on them. If you had
- 2:04:50not had a Treaty of Versailles, Nazi Germany
- 2:04:52would have never risen. Okay, what does that
- 2:04:54have to do with the gun? Well, no, of course
- 2:04:59it does. Because if you think that your country
- 2:05:01is being victimized, and if you're on your knees,
- 2:05:04and nationalism is a very strong force, then
- 2:05:08having those gun owners, having a population
- 2:05:10of right-wing is going to be something you want
- 2:05:13to have. Those Germans were, the Nazis were,
- 2:05:15they were just like fucking Netanyahu with their
- 2:05:17line of bullshit. The Germans never
- 2:05:19paid. They never paid the reparations. They didn't
- 2:05:23pay. Sure they did. That's why the Jewish market,
- 2:05:26of course they did. They occupied Germany at
- 2:05:28a certain point to force them to pay. No, they
- 2:05:30didn't. No, but the Germans did. The reason why
- 2:05:33the Reichsmark was worth nothing is because they
- 2:05:36inflated the money supply to the point where
- 2:05:38they destroyed it. In order to pay the French
- 2:05:43with devalued money. But they paid them, that's
- 2:05:46the point. Yeah, but not really. Of course they
- 2:05:48did. They paid them with worthless cash. Congratulations,
- 2:05:52you got swindled. They occupied Germany in order
- 2:05:54to get the money. No, they didn't. When did they
- 2:05:57occupy Germany? No, they didn't. France never
- 2:05:59occupied Germany? No, they didn't. Look it up.
- 2:06:02Believe me, they didn't. They did not. They could
- 2:06:06have. The French military had every legal right
- 2:06:09to go in under the Treaty of Versailles if there
- 2:06:12was a breach, for example, when the Saar
- 2:06:15Valley was remilitarized by the Germans under
- 2:06:17Nazism, but they didn't. Because the Germans
- 2:06:20had rifles. Because the French pussed out. Well,
- 2:06:24the French always puss out. Let's be
- 2:06:26honest. They lost the war to Haiti, for
- 2:06:28God's sake. Right here. Yes. France, along with
- 2:06:33Belgium, occupied Germany's industrial Ruhr
- 2:06:35region from January 1923 to August 1926, specifically
- 2:06:40to force payment for the World War I reparations.
- 2:06:42Yep. They occupied the Rhineland. The Ruhr Valley,
- 2:06:46right? Germany? Yeah. Okay, I forgot about that
- 2:06:49episode. They occupied part of it. It's a little
- 2:06:53border region, right? It's still Germany. Russia
- 2:06:59is talking about going to nuclear war with Kaliningrad.
- 2:07:01They take this shit seriously. And to ask why
- 2:07:05the Germans had rifles is because of crap like
- 2:07:08this. It's just how Yamamoto... No, they didn't
- 2:07:10have rifles because they wanted to eat rabbits.
- 2:07:13Okay that's where they
- 2:07:15had, right they like to hunt. Okay Ted you're
- 2:07:18a student of history. What did Yamamoto say? What
- 2:07:20would happen if the Japanese army invaded the
- 2:07:22American mainland? I don't even know. Wake up a
- 2:07:25sleeping giant. He said there would be a
- 2:07:27there would be a rifleman behind every blade of grass
- 2:07:29and tree. Which is kind of true. Okay, but the
- 2:07:33fact is that in the United States, we've been
- 2:07:35occupied by our own government. I agree. And
- 2:07:37it's because the propaganda is so freaking strong.
- 2:07:40Why is that? It's because our population is not
- 2:07:42educated. Our population is apathetic. Our population
- 2:07:44is stoned. And disorganized. And our population
- 2:07:47is disorganized. If you're self-indulging yourself,
- 2:07:51you're dropping your IQ by 15 points every single
- 2:07:54year because you just want to feel good. Then
- 2:07:57you're going to look at these people and say,
- 2:07:58oh, we're going to organize around these leaders
- 2:08:00and these colleges and they're all just stone
- 2:08:02frat boys. Give me a freaking break. I don't
- 2:08:06think I dropped my IQ for smoking pot, to be
- 2:08:07honest. I don't think that's true. I don't know.
- 2:08:11I think it's individualist. I think it's propaganda.
- 2:08:15I think it's. It's an American ethos with this
- 2:08:17idea of we're rugged individualists. We're all
- 2:08:19John Waynes. If anything happens, we're singular,
- 2:08:23individual, etc. Whereas in Europe, they look
- 2:08:26at this stuff as more of a group entity. Meaning
- 2:08:29Spain looks at the homeless thing as a group
- 2:08:30issue, a government issue. France looks at their
- 2:08:33issues as a government issue. We don't look at
- 2:08:35it that way. We look at it as we are individuals.
- 2:08:37Anything that happens to us happens to us singularly,
- 2:08:40not as a country, not as a group. We
- 2:08:42have to pay all gas prices now. But even that
- 2:08:44I would wager somewhat individually. I think
- 2:08:47it's that if I had to put it on anything.
- 2:08:50Tell me I'm wrong. Maybe I'm wrong. Listen, at
- 2:08:54the end of the day, the question was, why do
- 2:08:56I support gun ownership and oppose drugs and
- 2:08:59alcohol the way that I do? It's because one has
- 2:09:01a value and one doesn't. Okay, that's fair. Although
- 2:09:07I do think that, having been to countries
- 2:09:10where you can't buy booze like Pakistan. It sucks.
- 2:09:14It sucks, yeah. It sucks. Yeah, things are uptight.
- 2:09:18Everyone's got a stick up their ass. Everyone's
- 2:09:22nervous all the time. No one's ever chill. All
- 2:09:26right, guys, let's do this one last comment.
- 2:09:30Deep Green, thanks for the buck. Ask yourself
- 2:09:34why the CIA pushed LSD to induce a state lassitude
- 2:09:39on the masses and are against a collective revolution
- 2:09:42armed with the spirit to fight back and knowledgeable.
- 2:09:46Yes. Agreed. I want to answer John Doe's question
- 2:09:52real quick before we pull off. So his question
- 2:09:54is, Robby, isn't a fascist action of killing
- 2:09:56all drug dealers a contradiction with wanting
- 2:09:59the citizens to have guns to avoid a fascist
- 2:10:01government? Let me make this very clear. I said
- 2:10:03if I was the dictator of the country, there would
- 2:10:06be... You'd be the totalitarianism. I would be
- 2:10:11the totalitarianism. I know, right? So, listen.
- 2:10:17I am not of the belief that unlimited freedom
- 2:10:19is a good thing. Well, there is no such thing
- 2:10:23as unlimited freedom. No, it's impossible. But
- 2:10:26that's the argument that they make. It's
- 2:10:28well, what would you do? For example, I don't
- 2:10:30think people have the right to destroy themselves.
- 2:10:32If you're going through San Diego and you see
- 2:10:39all these people who are homeless stoned out
- 2:10:42of their minds on the street, literally rotting
- 2:10:45away. They don't have the right to be there.
- 2:10:48What you should do, and this is what I would
- 2:10:50do, I would get those people up. I would get
- 2:10:52them into rehab. I would do everything I possibly
- 2:10:54could under my power to get them clean, get their
- 2:10:57life back. And the people who are selling that
- 2:10:59poison, I would put their brains on a freaking
- 2:11:01wall. There is no freedom in this equation. And
- 2:11:07with that, it seems like a nice, uplifting place
- 2:11:12to leave that. Guys, if you haven't subscribed
