- 0:00Speaker 1: M hmm. Make yourself all cozy and relaxed in your
- 0:25bed and close your eyes. Take a deep breath in
- 0:33and then slowly and gently let the breath out again.
- 0:42Deep breath in, and then slowly and gently let the
- 0:49breath out one more time. Deep breath in, and then
- 1:00slowly and gently let the breath out. Just relax. Now,
- 1:09imagine yourself surrounded by a beautiful white light, a light
- 1:15so bright and so pure, a light of protection and peace.
- 1:23Breathe in this white light, feel it as it enters
- 1:27your body, making you feel all warm and safe. And
- 1:33with each breath you take, you can feel yourself becoming
- 1:39more and more relaxed, more and more calm. And you
- 1:46feel so peaceful now, so relaxed, but you feel very
- 1:53happy and light and your breathing is almost still relaxed. Now,
- 2:05magine he was standing in a very large fruit garden
- 2:10that was home to many different varieties of fruit, from
- 2:14juicy apples, hairs, oranges, plums, to sweet strawberries and many
- 2:21many more. Now, this garden was also the home of
- 2:26a friendly giant pander named Saffron, who loved to play
- 2:31and roam around the garden freely, so as you walk
- 2:37further into the garden, you look ahead and see Saffron
- 2:41sitting lazily under a big bamboo tree, eating the leaves
- 2:46off the branches. She looks up and she sees you too,
- 2:51and she gives you the most amazing smile, and she
- 2:55asks you if you would like to join her and
- 2:57have some of her leaves. You smile back at and
- 3:01say no, thank you, you have just eaten your lunch,
- 3:05but thank you for asking. But really, though you didn't
- 3:09really want to eat leaves, and how I wouldn't. So
- 3:13as you sit talking to Saffron, you hear a russell
- 3:18in the bamboo tree. When down puts a beautiful red squirrel.
- 3:23Saffron tells you that this is her best friend called Mike,
- 3:27who loves to keep himself busy with lots of fun
- 3:29and games around the garden. He's very playful and together
- 3:34Saffron and Mike are always exploring the beautiful garden, picking
- 3:38plenty of fruits as they go along. They're very happy there.
- 3:45Saffron tells you that she loves the bamboo trees. It's
- 3:49her favorite thing to eat, and again she offers you
- 3:53some of her leaves, and again you'd politely say no,
- 3:57thank you, I'm not very hungry now. Mike, on the
- 4:03other hand, just loves to climb onto the branches and
- 4:05show off his acrobatic moods as he jumps from branch
- 4:08to branch, from tree to tree. Saffron says she wishes
- 4:13she could do that too, but she's just too big.
- 4:17Saffron and Mike decide to show you around their beautiful garden,
- 4:23and as you walk, you can hear the sound of
- 4:25the chirping birds as the warm sun shines down on
- 4:28your face. You see a lot of lovely butterflies flitting
- 4:33from tree to tree looking for nectar to eat, and
- 4:37you can hear the gentle buzz of the bees as
- 4:39they too, fly from flower to flower, and you think
- 4:43that this is such a wonderful place to be. Suddenly,
- 4:50the three of you stumble across a hidden grove filled
- 4:53with exotic fruits, and that Saffron and Mike, well, they've
- 4:57never seen it before. So the three of you decide
- 5:01to explore, and as you walk, you taste each new
- 5:06fruit you find, and they are absolutely delicious, and you
- 5:12think how lucky they are to live in such a
- 5:16magical place. As you continue walking, you can hear the
- 5:24sound of splashing water, so you all go towards a sound,
- 5:29and to everyone's amazement, you discover a small pond right
- 5:34at the very edge of the garden. And at the
- 5:37far end of the pond it's a beautiful, gentle waterfall.
- 5:42And that was the splashing sound you could hear. It's
- 5:45a very large pond, and it's filled with plenty of
- 5:48colorful fish and lots and lots of lovely lotus flowers.
- 5:54We're all feeling a bit warm now, so you decide
- 5:57to go for a swim to cool off, and you
- 6:00all have lots of fun splashing about and swimming to
- 6:04do the side of the pond. All the little fish
- 6:07thought this looked like so much fun that they too
- 6:11decided to join in with Saffron, Mike and you. So
- 6:17for a few moments, have fun with Saffron and Mike
- 6:21and all the little fish. Float on your back and
- 6:24watch the fluffy white clouds drift across the beautiful blue sky.
- 6:30Maybe you can have a race to see who can
- 6:32swim far across the pond, who can do it the fastest,
- 6:38just for a few moments, did well, Now that was fun.
- 8:38Wasn't it. Now that you've all called off, you all
- 8:44get out of the pond, and Mike has a good idea.
- 8:48He says, let's build a raft. We can build it
- 8:52out of bamboo sticks. Wow, that's a good idea, you think.
- 8:57So you all work really hard putting it together, and
- 9:01when it's finally finished, you're all so very pleased. Saffron,
- 9:07being the biggest, puts a little raft into the water.
- 9:11It's a bit mobbly at face, but it doesn't sink.
- 9:15The three of you climb aboard and push off from
- 9:18the bank, and you just float around the pond, imagining
- 9:24yourselves as adventurers sailing across a great, big ocean, and
- 9:30you're having so much fun together, just floating along having adventures. Now,
- 9:41after a little while, you pull over to the other
- 9:45side of the pond and you're just about to get
- 9:48off the raft when you notice that some other animals
- 9:51are on the other side and they are watching the
- 9:55three of you and grinning. They shouted over and asked
- 9:59if they play too well. Saffron and Mike said, well, yes,
- 10:04of course they could, So the three of you sailed
- 10:07back towards them. There was a mischievous monkey named Max,
- 10:13who tells you that he loves to swing from tree
- 10:15to tree. There was a friendly parrot called Sophia, and
- 10:20she tells you that she just loves to sing and
- 10:23sing and sing. There was even a family of rabbits
- 10:27who were hopping up and down in excitement. So they
- 10:31all climbed on board the raft. But this time it
- 10:34really did wobble a lot. Of course, once everyone sat down,
- 10:40the little raft became steady again. That's the little raft
- 10:46floated along and everyone got to know each other. The monkey,
- 10:52the parrots, and the rabbits tell you that they had
- 10:55always lived in this beautiful garden, but were afraid to
- 10:59show themselves as they were quite shy. They've got a
- 11:02bit scared sometimes to meet someone new. Saffron told them
- 11:07that they didn't have to be scared of him and Mike,
- 11:08oh you for that matter, as you are all friends now,
- 11:12and friends take good care of each other. Saffron said,
- 11:17friends were always there for each other, no matter what.
- 11:22So for a few moments, have fun with your lovely
- 11:26new friends. Tell them all about yourself, where you live,
- 11:32what you like to do, Tell them who your best
- 11:36friend is. How wonderful was that? You found some lovely
- 14:20new friends, but now it's time for you to return
- 14:24to your own home. Saffron and Mike ask you that
- 14:29when you come back for another visit, maybe you can
- 14:33have a sleepover with them in their brand new tent,
- 14:37and the moon and the stars can be your night
- 14:40light and you can share even more stories and giggle
- 14:44until you all fall asleep. You are so happy that
- 14:50you say you would like that very much. Indeed, together
- 14:55all these animals have created an unbreakable bond with each
- 14:59other and with you too, that makes this large fruit
- 15:03garden an even happier place than it was already. And
- 15:11so you say good bye to all your new friends
- 15:14and thank them for sharing this magical place with you,
- 15:18and you promise to visit again really soon. Now, as
- 15:23you lay in your comfy bed with your eyes gently closing,
- 15:29you think of this wonderful place, the garden that's always
- 15:34filled with happiness and kindness, with all the animals living
- 15:38in perfect harmony, and you know that this wonderful paradise
- 15:44will always hold a special place in your heart. But
- 15:50now you feel a gentle wave of sleepiness starting at
- 15:54your feet. It's a warm, gentle feeling, kind of like
- 16:00how a feather feels when you brush it against your skin,
- 16:05So soft and gentle and just a little bit tickly,
- 16:12and it travels all the way up your body as
- 16:17you fall deeper and deeper into sleep, dreaming of the
- 16:22many adventures you will have. The beautiful fruit gone with
- 16:29Saffron and Mike, Night Night, Sleep tight. Did you belie
