Transcript
- 0:00I'm not gonna tell you what you want to hear, I'm gonna tell you what you need to hear
- 0:03because if I tell you what you want to hear, I don't care and I do care.
- 0:07The natural house space has turned into the same prescription environment
- 0:13that the Western medicine world has because, sure, I'm not handing you a drug,
- 0:18but I'm telling you that my solution fits every problem.
- 0:21And what's happened with influencers?
- 0:24Oh, I got this great deal.
- 0:26I'm gonna go sell this and do this and do that without knowing what you're selling,
- 0:30why, if it's a ripoff or not, and if it's something actually need it.
- 0:35Where do you see people's trust-level nowadays of healthcare in general?
- 0:39Here's the thing.
- 0:43All right, to tell you what we're back with, age-defyingly, the podcast that up,
- 0:48tries to get you to age-defying.
- 0:49Everybody's right there in the name, right?
- 0:51And I am joined today by a very special guest.
- 0:54I'm actually super excited to have this guy here because here's where we get
- 0:58most health and wellness space people are trying to sell you something.
- 1:01Like, everybody's trying to sell, sell, sell.
- 1:03There's some destination.
- 1:04There's a URL, some place that's getting you there.
- 1:06And it's all about you, you'll lose this, lose that, do this, do that, gain this, gain that,
- 1:11and so on.
- 1:11But I'm over the guy today who's doing none of that.
- 1:14And I think it's actually pretty fun to hear him talk about it because
- 1:17I'm joined by Dylan Janelli.
- 1:19And Dylan, I'm going to read this because they put this stuff together,
- 1:22Dylan, in ways that I have a clue.
- 1:23So you're going to wonder who this is by the end.
- 1:25Dylan Janelli is known in the biohacking world as the wellness revolutionary.
- 1:31He's got over 1.5 million Instagram followers,
- 1:34a top-ranked podcast that hit number one at Health and Fitness last year
- 1:38with it his first year, actually.
- 1:40And a fat round of this band's bodybuilding,
- 1:42neuroscience, cellular house, hormone optimization in peptide
- 1:45greasers, spoken at Mr. Olympia,
- 1:48been on the same stages as names like Dave Asperin and Ben Greenfield.
- 1:52But what makes him different?
- 1:54Aren't his credentials?
- 1:56It's that he's willing to go where most health educators
- 1:59walked.
- 2:00It's the hard, the nuanced, and sometimes the uncomfortable truths that are actually there
- 2:05that actually help people perform at a high level, especially at a higher age.
- 2:10And that's the conversation we're about to get into.
- 2:13And I'm going to tell you, preemptively, what I love about this guy is
- 2:16it's not about how specifically it's not about psychology specifically.
- 2:22It's not about spirituality specifically.
- 2:25It's about all of it.
- 2:26It is the interconnectedness of all of those things.
- 2:30And Dylan, I'll just start by telling you, I'm the contrarian in every room.
- 2:34And I suspect we may have that in the common.
- 2:36Because the minute somebody comes to me and says,
- 2:39Oh, I'm having this problem with my sleep.
- 2:41Like, my first responses has nothing to do with the physiology of sleep.
- 2:45My first response is, it's going on in your life.
- 2:47Yep.
- 2:47Like, talk to me about what's going on in your head.
- 2:49Talk to me about what's going on in your spirit.
- 2:51Like, talk to me about those things.
- 2:53Because your experience in a physiological symptom,
- 2:57I suspect it's not a physiological bird.
- 2:59And yet, people aren't willing to get into the root of what's going on very often.
- 3:03And I said that the contrarian, because they're looking here.
- 3:06And I'm like, I always tried to be the way in Kretsky, right?
- 3:08Like, I'm staying where the puck's going out and where where you're looking.
- 3:11And I suspect this is how you approach most things,
- 3:15having watched a lot of your content.
- 3:17Yeah.
- 3:18Tell me, who's Dylan?
- 3:19How did you get there?
- 3:20Why do people listen to you about that stuff?
- 3:23Well, it's not because I have 900 different letters after my name or any of the sort.
- 3:29I am the guy that just basically has always said one thing.
- 3:34I'm not going to tell you what you want to hear.
- 3:36I'm going to tell you what you need to hear.
- 3:37Because if I tell you what you want to hear, I don't care.
- 3:40And I do care.
- 3:42My college basketball coach put it best to me.
- 3:45And this was a hard truth.
- 3:46He said, look, if I'm not on you,
- 3:50if I'm not yelling at you or coming at you,
- 3:52it means I don't notice you because you're not worth the effort for me to put into.
- 3:56I see something special in you and I'm going to push you to get it out of you.
- 4:01And so the work complacency, I don't find that in my vocabulary.
- 4:06I was always the guy that when I worked at a sales job,
- 4:10you know how most sales jobs you have a quota.
- 4:13And everybody tries to reach that quota.
- 4:15And then they think they can skate on by.
- 4:17And it's like, oh, we reached it.
- 4:19But table stakes, yeah.
- 4:21For me, that's when it's time to roll.
- 4:23We make our money after we hit the quota.
- 4:26That's when it just starts.
- 4:28Absolutely.
- 4:28There's never in the end.
- 4:30There's always something to work for.
- 4:32Persist perfection is not attainable.
- 4:35There's always something to move on to and to chase and to go after.
- 4:38And so for my type, sometimes it's a huge blessing.
- 4:43Sometimes maybe overdrive too much.
- 4:46And you know, my wife and family mom,
- 4:48everybody will attest to that because that's kind of their big complaint with me now.
- 4:52But I would say that that's the worst complaint.
- 4:54Well, it could be far worse, right?
- 4:56Thanks.
- 4:57But you know, it's one of those things where I fully believe that life at South is trial and
- 5:03everything that we do, everything you teach that I teach, there's going to be some error.
- 5:08And it's what we learn and what we're willing to accept as we know that's going to change.
- 5:13You have to be able to change with time.
- 5:15It's like the coach that was so good for so long, but refuses
- 5:20to go with the flow of what's happening now.
- 5:22It's so funny.
- 5:23You say that because recently, and I want to get back to something you said a moment ago,
- 5:27but you talk about the coach and I've been working with this company.
- 5:30It's got this amazing house platform.
- 5:33I'll show you about it later.
- 5:34But they've got an investor is like, this is the way it's done.
- 5:38This is the way it's done.
- 5:39Like this is how you market because we've done this once before with some completely
- 5:43unrelated company.
- 5:44And this is the way you do it.
- 5:45And I'm like shaking my head and I'm talking with CEO completely agrees with me.
- 5:50I'm like, you don't understand.
- 5:51That's why there's entire playbooks.
- 5:54They had a page or there's a page in the playbook that they can't quick play.
- 5:59Yeah, but this is a book and the entire what page you're on changes,
- 6:03depending on who's the enemy.
- 6:04Thank you.
- 6:05Every single page is a different play and it is appropriate.
- 6:08Every one of the plays in that book are appropriate.
- 6:10In circumstances, rights, but this is circumstance doesn't match.
- 6:14It plays a role.
- 6:18You're making me think of Madden because my dad used to do that when I was a kid.
- 6:21He found one play I couldn't stop.
- 6:23And he keep doing to do to finally figure it out.
- 6:26Then guess what?
- 6:27He didn't know what to do anymore because if somebody will figure out your play.
- 6:30I'm taking that pivot for me real quick.
- 6:32Yes.
- 6:34So I've used those executive words in a spiritual realm.
- 6:37And the argument that I have is we believe in the divine boat.
- 6:40We believe in the divine evil, right?
- 6:41Like did it?
- 6:42There's the out of the juxtaposition there.
- 6:43And the enemy of our soul doesn't need to learn new ways to harass us on a daily basis.
- 6:50It's the same thing over and over.
- 6:52And people have this mindset.
- 6:54But why does this struggle keep happening?
- 6:56Because they're adding that to it.
- 6:57Yeah.
- 6:58It's addiction.
- 6:59It's any of the things that people struggle with.
- 7:02And it's because the same play keeps working.
- 7:04That's right.
- 7:05There's no reason to bother you in some other area.
- 7:07Like I'll complete your career alone because your marriage is broken.
- 7:10I'll just keep hammering your marriage over and over again if that's what it takes.
- 7:14But from a spiritual standpoint, from a relational standpoint, from a health standpoint,
- 7:19it's usually the same thing that is tearing people back.
- 7:23It's over and over and over again.
- 7:25And for some people, that's it's sugar-diction.
- 7:28Whatever it is.
- 7:30But I love that.
- 7:31You're saying like that playbook.
- 7:32Yeah.
- 7:33Well, in two, you also have to be prepared at all times because
- 7:38you do conquer things.
- 7:39You have that innate ability.
- 7:41We all have it.
- 7:42It's a matter of just sitting down and doing it.
- 7:44But something else is going to present itself as soon as you get past that.
- 7:47I did this thing when I got out of prison and I really changed who I was.
- 7:52I started to pat myself on the back way too much.
- 7:56And I was telling myself, man, you stop doing this.
- 7:59You stop doing that.
- 8:00Well, but then I created several other things that I look back on now when it was like,
- 8:05you just went into something else or you just did it.
- 8:08Yeah, but I looked past it because I kept telling myself how great I was
- 8:14for stopping something that I should have been doing in the first place.
- 8:18And then I replaced it with just this became more of a
- 8:22behavioral thing as opposed to, you know, drugs and things that I was doing before.
- 8:26But it continued on because I got complacent, despised that word.
- 8:31And I gave myself so much credit.
- 8:33You've got to stay humble throughout everything that you do.
- 8:36One of the things that you said that frustrates me when you were talking about the marketing.
- 8:42And I just did a video on this and it's very important.
- 8:45And there's a reason that I did it.
- 8:46And it's not because I'm perfect is because I see everything.
- 8:49And what's happened with influencers, right?
- 8:53Is you don't understand what that terminology meets.
- 8:56See, one of the things that I learned and that's funny who I learned is from.
- 8:59I learned it from Colin Cowell.
- 9:00I just saw that video the other day.
- 9:02You just did it recently.
- 9:03Yeah, I just put it up.
- 9:04Yeah, it says, oh, it's so exaggerated.
- 9:06Yeah, yeah.
- 9:06So Colin Cowell does a sports show and some of his takes are completely insane.
- 9:11But he does this, this specific thing.
- 9:14And he breaks it down to where it wins his argument.
- 9:17But he takes words and he, and you have to listen and put the word out there.
- 9:23And that you understand what it actually meets.
- 9:25Because terms just get thrown around.
- 9:26We don't even know what the hell they mean, right?
- 9:28What does influencer mean?
- 9:30It means that you have an influence over people's decisions on their health and their finances.
- 9:37So you think, oh, I got this great deal.
- 9:40I'm going to go sell this and do this and do that without knowing what you're selling.
- 9:45Why?
- 9:45If it's a ripoff or not.
- 9:47And if it's something actually need it.
- 9:49And people are doing that left and right.
- 9:51Now what's happened is something that started off as great,
- 9:54which we see all the time has now become completely polarized in opposite to
- 9:59where everybody's jaded.
- 10:00Just like the supplement industry because of all the bad marketing.
- 10:04And now it's viewed upon as something that it shouldn't be because people
- 10:08have tarnished the name.
- 10:10Sean and I are a mutual friend.
- 10:12Dr. Sean, we were talking earlier this morning actually because we were listening to
- 10:16some of the stage stuff.
- 10:17And this is, we're here at the changing life and destiny conference right now.
- 10:20But the Sean made a comment earlier.
- 10:23We kind of were going back and forth about it.
- 10:25Is that the natural health space has turned into the same prescription environment
- 10:31that the Western medicine world has?
- 10:33Because, sure, I'm not handing you a drug.
- 10:36But I'm telling you that my solution fits every problem.
- 10:40We're mass polling people and telling them that everything I sell fixes every problem.
- 10:46And it's like, well, yeah, that's what the drug industry has been doing for years.
- 10:49And this entire industry of natural health, he's evolved out of that.
- 10:53Or in response to that, I think in many ways.
- 10:56And yet, behaviorally, we look the same right now.
- 10:58Yeah.
- 10:59Like, here you go.
- 11:00Sure, I'm not selling you a drug.
- 11:02But did you try it as a tide?
- 11:03This is the peptide.
- 11:04Go take your peptide.
- 11:05That is like, well, what's the difference that you take your peptide versus take your grub?
- 11:09They go, what's the difference?
- 11:10Other than, you know, we know that there's a natural
- 11:13layer of peptides where we're talking about it's protein as opposed to
- 11:18a pharmaceutical, which is synthetic.
- 11:19Sure, I get it.
- 11:21But at the same time, we're starting to do the same thing.
- 11:24Here's my page, not a whole playbook.
- 11:27And influencers to that point are selling a page often.
- 11:30Yeah.
- 11:31It's hypocritical in such a multitude of ways.
- 11:34Because we're telling people,
- 11:36get away from conventional.
- 11:38They do this, they do this, they do this.
- 11:39But then you're shoving something else down.
- 11:41Some of these throughout the way may not need you know, like now it's to the point.
- 11:45And I say this, I have an intertwining because there is a need of conventional and not
- 11:50conventional.
- 11:50There is a use.
- 11:51The problem with the conventional is isn't like, I'm going to use a statin as an example.
- 11:55They just look for their number to be a couple points off so they can put you on it.
- 12:00So now look a lot of these supplements or whatever it is that people are trying to sell.
- 12:05And they make you feel like everybody needs it.
- 12:07There's a few things when it comes to our cells and our gut.
- 12:11Those things really control our health and total.
- 12:14So if we're looking at something that's going to fix those,
- 12:17I'm going to be a lot more apt to listen to that than somebody that's trying to sell
- 12:21me the greatest protein power or the greatest that we all supposedly need.
- 12:25You know what I mean?
- 12:26There's so many things that don't really correlate, but one small niche of health.
- 12:31I'm going to ask you something because everything that we've discussed so far about
- 12:35things are all additive.
- 12:36Yeah.
- 12:37Yeah.
- 12:37One of my philosophies is that the best way to get into biorech is to subtraction that are just
- 12:42now addition.
- 12:43There you go.
- 12:43There you go.
- 12:44You know, people will ask me all the time like, well, you know,
- 12:47natural health is too expensive.
- 12:48I'm like, really?
- 12:49They'll let what are the top three things you do?
- 12:50And I'm like, well, sleep, movement, and fasting.
- 12:54And I get these questions like, well, no, those are my favorite three biorechs.
- 12:57I'm like, and if they hadn't done those three,
- 12:59please stop shopping for all the rest of them.
- 13:01Right.
- 13:02But because first of all, all of them are going to actually save you money.
- 13:05It's like, many of those things are going to hurt you.
- 13:07All of those things are free.
- 13:09And they all are restorative because there's no point in optimizing.
- 13:13If you haven't already got through Vanity Presented Press,
- 13:16hey, you're trying to optimize it 45%.
- 13:19Like, yeah, that's ridiculous.
- 13:21But my question to you is like, I mean, you promote products.
- 13:24I mean, there's things you believe in.
- 13:25There's things that you from Oaton, you know,
- 13:27I'm sure that you've well researched all of them in order to get there.
- 13:31What are your subtraction or vices?
- 13:34What are the things that you would tell people that don't even start
- 13:38until you get rid of whatever.
- 13:40Well, sure, some of the answers are obvious.
- 13:42But you hit it specifically.
- 13:44This was what I always struggled with because when I started into all of this,
- 13:49it was with bodybuilders, which is just, I went on to just,
- 13:53I jumped in light, jumped in way too heavy, way too fast.
- 13:56But actually, it shaped me to do what I do now.
- 13:58And it's actually made me far more suitable to handle this environment.
- 14:02Because I went through the worst of rare.
- 14:05You could kind of through to start it.
- 14:07I don't think people, I'm going to say some to their replace.
- 14:09I don't think most people realize that they think bodybuilders are peak health.
- 14:14And I don't think most people realize that bodybuilders,
- 14:17although muscular lean, are some of the worst healthy people,
- 14:21if I don't have a phrase that they're,
- 14:23they're in some of the worst health and anybody up their mental and physical.
- 14:27Correct.
- 14:27And they have, and I don't, I don't want to say they like it's
- 14:31every single one to make the majority.
- 14:34And I can assure you that's a valid state because I lived it for 10 years.
- 14:39The majority of them have one simple focus.
- 14:42And it's based upon the now today without zero care,
- 14:47or worry about anything long term.
- 14:49And the things they tell other people that are okay.
- 14:52No, because when you've turned pro,
- 14:56this is a well-known fact that you're not going to do it without steroid use.
- 15:00And as much as I hate to agree with that,
- 15:03I don't like to agree with that.
- 15:04It is a brutal fact of life that there's very, very, very, very few.
- 15:10They will ever have the genetic makeup and output
- 15:13to make it pro without steroid use.
- 15:15That's what it's become.
- 15:17I'm not saying before that that was a possible,
- 15:20it's not possible now, right?
- 15:22Well, good stakes at you.
- 15:23It's way different and everybody does it.
- 15:25And what happens is, is with this kind of use,
- 15:29and what they do to their bodies,
- 15:32they're shading years off of their life.
- 15:34And you'll see, as soon as they age,
- 15:37one, susceptible to injury.
- 15:39And I'll tell you why,
- 15:40because of the massive amount of muscular growth
- 15:43and the amount of food that they're eating
- 15:45has put so much pressure on joints, ligaments, and tendon.
- 15:48Connective tissues can't keep up.
- 15:49No.
- 15:50And you'll notice that they all have all these nati injuries
- 15:55the rest of their life too.
- 15:56They degrade their bone density gone.
- 16:00Their hormones are always going to be off balance.
- 16:03And you just start to see them shrivel.
- 16:05And people, let's go, they stop taking service.
- 16:07That's part of it.
- 16:08But the other part of it is physiologically,
- 16:10they were in a state that they could have never,
- 16:12you're not supposed to be at.
- 16:14And then you also have,
- 16:16I'll just give you a small little lesson here
- 16:19on anabolic steroids that are in the oral form.
- 16:22So, should take an oral steroid,
- 16:25it has to become C-17 alpha-alcalized,
- 16:28meaning there's structurally it's changed
- 16:31and modified so it can pass through the liver.
- 16:34Well, when that happens,
- 16:35it creates this extreme level of methylation and toxicity.
- 16:38So, you'll see this hammering of liver,
- 16:41kidney's cholesterol, blood pressure.
- 16:43Liver's resilient,
- 16:44but with that kind of pressure and stress over time,
- 16:49you'll see liver, kidney issues,
- 16:51but you'll also see atherosclerosis.
- 16:54You'll see these heart problems in large men of the heart.
- 16:57That's why a lot of the WWF wrestlers that died
- 17:01and that the steroid use along with the painkillers
- 17:04and the cocaine use altogether,
- 17:06but the steroids were a key factor in that
- 17:08because of what they did long-term.
- 17:10And so, when you're using these types of things
- 17:14and you have no concept of what they're doing to you long-term,
- 17:16that's why you see short name of life.
- 17:18So now, how do we correlate that to what's going on now?
- 17:21What's crazy is, as I've had this conversation now,
- 17:24I don't know if you've ever heard of me screen,
- 17:26they do the mitochondrial test
- 17:28and Sean Fetcho is the founder and he told me
- 17:32that the people with the worst scores,
- 17:34aside from one person that was Ben Greenfield, actually,
- 17:38because of something special that he had in his blood,
- 17:41they have the worst scores he's ever seen
- 17:43in the mitochondrial test, the biohackers,
- 17:45because they take 85 million different things
- 17:48without the focus on what do we need,
- 17:51like I was saying, core structurally cellular.
- 17:55You want to focus on cellular.
- 17:57That's the most important to me.
- 17:58Then, secondarily, I would have the primary focus on God.
- 18:02Now, there's certain things that we have to have,
- 18:04you like magnesium electrolytes vital,
- 18:06like these are things that we need,
- 18:08your teeth, your vitamin D, which,
- 18:10sunlight, we need to get more so than supplementation,
- 18:13right, but these are B complexes.
- 18:15These are the things of vital importance,
- 18:18but start cellularly, then look at the God
- 18:21and then for me, creatine's the biggest one.
- 18:24You know, that for brain husks,
- 18:26they didn't be out at muscle house, so that's it.
- 18:28Because neurologically, I can fix your cellularly,
- 18:31I can fix your God.
- 18:33I can fix your fitness and your diet,
- 18:35but if you're neurologically off,
- 18:37that is all for not, my friend,
- 18:38breached.
- 18:39Yeah, because you know what happens
- 18:41with stress and cortisol and inflammation.
- 18:43Well, and again, you'd mention the biohackers
- 18:46and mitochondria else,
- 18:46because they're like mitochondria and mitochondria.
- 18:48Like, that's like everybody buzz word nowadays
- 18:50and now for it means facts.
- 18:52But, but the other side of that,
- 18:54it's get back to that addition instead of subtraction.
- 18:56You asked, I'm like every single person
- 18:58who ever comes to me and they have
- 18:59topic of supplementation and peptide scans
- 19:01at all the time, when people know you work in the space,
- 19:04you've become everybody's prior position.
- 19:07You know, what should I be taking?
- 19:09And then I feel like a jerk responding to it sometimes,
- 19:12because my answer is, I don't know,
- 19:14I don't know your biology.
- 19:15No.
- 19:16Well, I mean, what should I mean, everybody should take
- 19:18it some basics, right?
- 19:19Mike, I don't know for you,
- 19:21because I don't know what you're getting
- 19:22through nutrition.
- 19:24That goes back to the influential thing.
- 19:27So, I used to 100% when I,
- 19:30so I started on YouTube and I've discussed
- 19:32steroids, peptides, and sharks.
- 19:34No, he was discussing these online
- 19:35and everybody used to write me,
- 19:36well, what should I run?
- 19:37Well, what should I run?
- 19:38And I see other people respond
- 19:40and lay out these big stacks in the live brother.
- 19:42That's irresponsible.
- 19:43Yeah, I don't know a thing about you.
- 19:45I would always start with this
- 19:46with the steroid stuff,
- 19:48age, height, weight, body fat.
- 19:49Immediately, if you're under,
- 19:51under 30, really, I'm telling it,
- 19:52don't even look at the steroid.
- 19:54And I can tell you why later.
- 19:55And then body fat.
- 19:57So, the higher your body fat,
- 19:58the more susceptible you are to estrogen-cute person
- 20:01and the more susceptible you are to the chances
- 20:03where you have higher blood pressure,
- 20:04higher cholesterol.
- 20:05So, all of these factors have to play in.
- 20:07I'm not going to recommend you to do all of this
- 20:09when you're already screwed up.
- 20:11So, sane factors relate to what we're taking
- 20:13like you're talking about.
- 20:14I don't know your family history.
- 20:16I don't know your hormone panels.
- 20:17I don't know anything on your blood work.
- 20:19And without that, I can't justify
- 20:21if we give you an accurate answer
- 20:23that would keep my credibility.
- 20:25And we sleep well at night.
- 20:26I'm going to connect you with a company
- 20:29that I work very closely with.
- 20:30It's new I'll call Ruger IQ.
- 20:32But it is literally every one of the things
- 20:35that you just mentioned
- 20:36and how using AI to help analysis.
- 20:39But it is, it's labs.
- 20:41Yeah, obviously.
- 20:42But it's genetics and epigenetics.
- 20:44It is family trauma.
- 20:45It is a, it's diet.
- 20:48It is, you know, just hit,
- 20:49it literally is pulling in every lens
- 20:52of who the person is.
- 20:53And try not to myopically look.
- 20:55And like from a, we talked about it from an angle
- 20:57that is that the visual picture that I put before
- 21:00then was the picture of a doctor looking at you
- 21:03and saying, I don't see the problem.
- 21:05But the camera is from the other direction.
- 21:07If you see this knife and the guy's batman.
- 21:10And the doctor saying, I don't see an issue.
- 21:11No, I didn't think where you don't
- 21:13because it's on the other corner.
- 21:15You're not used to looking in that direction.
- 21:17And all of these things have value
- 21:20and they all have relevancy in the conversation.
- 21:22Yes.
- 21:23And we can't treat people in my speech.
- 21:26And you almost have to be a psychologist on top of like,
- 21:30I feel like with you're doing functional health.
- 21:32Like if you're a real true functional,
- 21:34you almost have to have both key aspects.
- 21:37You can't just know the body and fitness.
- 21:40And one of the things I regret, but I'm happy I learned so well now
- 21:44is I never took the focus on the neurological side
- 21:47like I do now and we're peace it together.
- 21:49So for instance, let's just use the steroid use, for example,
- 21:53you go through a blood panel in charts and family history, you go,
- 21:56okay, even I always explain to people that I coached
- 22:00because I had to sign a lot of NDAs.
- 22:02They'd bring me and they know what it's for to coach.
- 22:05But I never looked at how aggressive are you?
- 22:09How are you mentally like, is there instability?
- 22:13And they were underage.
- 22:15Well, that, but you might this certain steroids
- 22:18that can really affect you neurologically in multitudes
- 22:22of ways, not just the things that the media puts out.
- 22:25Like you said, red register something real,
- 22:27but there's other key factors.
- 22:28They're depression that can kick in.
- 22:30You may want to end up suicidal.
- 22:33Well, in later in that nervous system response,
- 22:37yeah, let's see, because you're talking in neurology
- 22:39of these types of things that just claim absorption
- 22:43of these types of things, changes depending on your,
- 22:46your nervous system response.
- 22:47Like people who are living in the sympathetic nervous system
- 22:50don't absorb through the gut.
- 22:52The same way that other people are going to is,
- 22:54means telling you what to take is irrelevant.
- 22:56If I don't also understand your state of mind, yeah,
- 22:59it's mean you're, you're not absorbing.
- 23:01And people thought we'd realize that even nutrition
- 23:04is affected by nervous system.
- 23:05Say, yes, because that that just function in your body
- 23:08is not functioning the same way that it should.
- 23:11If you are always in this heightened sense of where
- 23:14does this firefight response to people in leaning?
- 23:16I want to go back to something you said,
- 23:18but way probably the first sentence of this conversation
- 23:21will already be ran off for the resignation.
- 23:23I'm under touch, which is we even do it.
- 23:25It all works and all works.
- 23:27You said something specific about the trust that people have
- 23:30because of supplement marketing and so on and so forth.
- 23:33And there is, there's a relational aspect.
- 23:37Maybe this links into what you're talking about,
- 23:38but being an influencer.
- 23:40But where do you see people's trust level
- 23:43nowadays of healthcare in general?
- 23:46Because they're beking this giant distrust
- 23:49in the medical community.
- 23:50I think COVID taught everybody not to trust anybody.
- 23:54You know, if I'm a very good lesson to learn very,
- 23:56like, is what it is, but at this point I'm like,
- 23:58cool, like at least that's the silver lining.
- 24:01Let's take it.
- 24:01Yeah, fast forward or six years from now.
- 24:06If you pay even the, that's the blows my mind
- 24:08that then six years ago.
- 24:09But six years later, we've got a Bobby Kennedy FDA.
- 24:15We, we're not FDA, but I'm not going to carry it.
- 24:17The body can be health department.
- 24:19It gets lots of changes in the way the conversation.
- 24:22We flip the food pyramid upside down.
- 24:24We've got, you know, now we've got a psychotropics
- 24:28and everything starting to move in.
- 24:30And then Plaint Medicine getting regulated and peptides.
- 24:32All like so much has changed in that period of time.
- 24:36But where do you think consumer trust is long?
- 24:41Is it better?
- 24:42Is it worse?
- 24:42Is it just more?
- 24:43Is it more noise?
- 24:44Like, here's the thing.
- 24:47No matter what we do, no matter how loud we say it,
- 24:51there's always going to be voices that oppose.
- 24:54And the opposition tries, as hard as it can,
- 24:58to get into the heads of others to tell them
- 25:01that something is crazy,
- 25:03that it is completely opposite of what we're supposed to do
- 25:07because multitudes of reasons.
- 25:09One, it's just a lack of understanding.
- 25:12Two, it's a money thing.
- 25:13Three, it's a forceful thing, right?
- 25:15Where the misleading,
- 25:19people are standing out more than they have in quite a long time.
- 25:24The voices that were once louder in opposition are being opposed.
- 25:28Way more now than the other word, there's less fear
- 25:32and that is making people actually have a harder understanding now
- 25:37of what's going on because there's two sides flying and at once.
- 25:40And then the credibility,
- 25:42which I was talking about earlier,
- 25:44ties right into this question
- 25:46because you still have bad act or selling stuff all the time
- 25:50without really driving trust.
- 25:53That's why when I do work and I sell everybody,
- 25:57I try to be an arbiter of truth in everything that I do.
- 26:00I am so far from perfect, it's insane.
- 26:03But I'll tell you this,
- 26:04motive-wise is why I work with so few companies,
- 26:08while I push so few of things,
- 26:10it has to be something that I firmly believe it and I'm tight with.
- 26:13But I study comments for one purpose and one purpose only.
- 26:18I don't give, excuse me, a shit.
- 26:21What anybody takes a shot at me,
- 26:22but I do care about their concerns.
- 26:24And it's one word and one word only, confusion.
- 26:27If you go down and look
- 26:29under profiles of people with a huge following
- 26:32that make a major impact,
- 26:34there's two things going on.
- 26:35One, they're being insulted
- 26:36because they're promoting 75,000 products.
- 26:38But two, it's people,
- 26:40just normal everyday people saying,
- 26:43can I even eat anything anymore?
- 26:44Can I even take anything anymore?
- 26:46Like this thing's $800 a month
- 26:48and this thing's $900 a month
- 26:49and this is this, this, this, this.
- 26:51So the trust that we work so hard to get,
- 26:54we've ruined.
- 26:56And that's why I come in
- 26:58and I try to be a difference maker.
- 27:00Now, it takes more than one voice,
- 27:01but I got a law one
- 27:03and I am fearless because I know God protects you.
- 27:05When I say I'm fearless,
- 27:07I'm fearless to the point where it's controlled.
- 27:09It's holy spirit driven.
- 27:11It's not me out there trying to prove a point
- 27:13like some people have to have a lot of weight.
- 27:15I don't care about pride,
- 27:16I don't care about anything.
- 27:17I don't care about accolades
- 27:18or anybody telling me I'm great.
- 27:19I don't care.
- 27:20What I do care about is that people see
- 27:24what is true and what is not.
- 27:26And then I see on faces
- 27:28when somebody comes up to me
- 27:29and tells me Dylan,
- 27:30you changed my life.
- 27:31Dylan, like thank you for doing this.
- 27:33That is why I do what I do.
- 27:36Because you said before,
- 27:36it's not, I'm not selling a class.
- 27:39People break me all the time.
- 27:40I want me to coach him.
- 27:40I physically can't anymore
- 27:42because I don't have the time.
- 27:43I tried to do what I can.
- 27:45I'm not selling anything.
- 27:47I'm bringing white and truth.
- 27:49I will recommend you the things that I use
- 27:52and the people that I believe in,
- 27:54which like I said,
- 27:55it's few and far between,
- 27:56but it is serving a purpose.
- 27:58And the purpose here has lost its way.
- 28:01The purpose is supposed to be
- 28:03everybody you see at this conference.
- 28:05Everybody that's fought so hard
- 28:07to finally have a voice
- 28:09then takes advantage of what we got.
- 28:12Why take advantage of something
- 28:13that was so hard to get?
- 28:15We can all work together.
- 28:16You're going to make money by doing good
- 28:19and then you're going to save people
- 28:20money at the same time.
- 28:21We would just talk.
- 28:22Our team was talking the other day about C.
- 28:25I mean, I hate, I don't,
- 28:26I don't need to take a shot at the industry.
- 28:28Y'all know, right?
- 28:29We're obviously all playing it.
- 28:30Yeah, it was like,
- 28:31there's some bad actors.
- 28:33Yes, there's some bad actors.
- 28:34And the thing is,
- 28:35is what I never want to see is that
- 28:37the bad actor here and there
- 28:39and that you know, the person
- 28:40who's peddling 75 things over here,
- 28:42like, sure, all those things,
- 28:44you know, they happened in every community.
- 28:46Like, we tend to focus on them
- 28:49and they become the highlight real
- 28:51of the people we dislike.
- 28:53Yeah, so when you've got the people
- 28:54that are taking shots at the natural
- 28:56house community,
- 28:56they know exactly who to shoot at.
- 28:58Yeah, they know those.
- 29:00You know, they especially went
- 29:01and they'll use the Peter Atilla thing
- 29:02recently.
- 29:04Yeah, they came with Huffin,
- 29:05like, that's a huge black eye
- 29:06on an industry.
- 29:07When, in fact, nothing Peter Atilla did,
- 29:10had anything you do with anybody
- 29:12else in this industry,
- 29:13right?
- 29:13Like, that's what happens, though.
- 29:14Correct.
- 29:15Then it's a very bad one saying,
- 29:16and money is seductive.
- 29:19And we do see a lot of people
- 29:20that come into the space with good intention.
- 29:23I know several people who've gotten
- 29:25it into the space and, you know,
- 29:26the goal of a business,
- 29:28you know, most businesses start
- 29:29so that they can sell the business.
- 29:30They want their moment.
- 29:32Most consumers don't need to know
- 29:33when the business got sold.
- 29:35No, here's what I can't stand.
- 29:37Is when you come on here and say,
- 29:40well, I don't care about money.
- 29:41I don't care about my look.
- 29:42Everybody's got to survive.
- 29:44When you tell me that,
- 29:45I automatically don't trust you.
- 29:47We all care about it.
- 29:48We all have to or we don't live.
- 29:50But you can make it wherever everybody wins.
- 29:52I am certainly going to get paid
- 29:54for all the time and effort that I do
- 29:56and everything else.
- 29:57But I'm also not going to abuse it.
- 29:59And I'm not going to let it dominate
- 30:01everything I do.
- 30:01What I work for God,
- 30:02because that's who I work for,
- 30:04that stuff takes care of itself.
- 30:06And now instead of misusing money
- 30:09and worrying about what everybody thinks
- 30:11about how many shoes and everything else I have,
- 30:13I will always want to dress nice
- 30:15because I want to be presentable
- 30:17and because I'm comfortable that way.
- 30:18But I'm not buying off the Gucci store
- 30:20or whatever else.
- 30:21My money is saved so that we're secure as I get older
- 30:25and it's being put back into what I do
- 30:27so I can get nice equipment to record
- 30:29so I can travel so we could do this
- 30:31so I could be here.
- 30:33So yeah, if I'm bringing a company money
- 30:35but I'm only going to bring a company money
- 30:37that I know deserves it
- 30:39that's helping people that's doing it.
- 30:41So yeah, every human has to get paid.
- 30:43So I can't stand when people make comments and stuff.
- 30:47Yeah, nobody works free, dude.
- 30:49Like, so stop it.
- 30:50You don't work free.
- 30:51You work for somebody that's selling something.
- 30:53See, people like to throw stones around
- 30:55and it pisses me off to no end
- 30:57because they're doing the same thing.
- 30:59Every human has to work, but it's what you're motive.
- 31:02What are you working for?
- 31:03Who are you working for?
- 31:04Well, it's my getovers.
- 31:06Use the phrase, you know,
- 31:06you can do well while doing good.
- 31:08That's right.
- 31:09There's no reason for somebody.
- 31:11There's no virtue and poverty.
- 31:13Yeah, but there's no reason
- 31:15that you can't do good at the same time.
- 31:17One of the same things, you know,
- 31:18you as an influencer, I run marketing agency full time
- 31:21and it's like, I don't want clients who I don't like.
- 31:24No, I don't want to deal with people at all.
- 31:27I know I won't deal with products.
- 31:28I don't think are amazing.
- 31:29No, because it's yield.
- 31:31Every single product that we have
- 31:33or service or whatever that we've ever represented,
- 31:37I will personally use.
- 31:38Dude, like, you have it.
- 31:40I won't personally use you a product
- 31:42when I think there's better out there.
- 31:43We're not a match.
- 31:45Well, here's what I did.
- 31:46Here's what I did.
- 31:48I don't want to throw a bunch of brands
- 31:50on that somewhere in Japan,
- 31:51but everybody knows who I'm associated with by now.
- 31:53My, the first big contract I had was with timeline.
- 31:56And you know what I did?
- 31:58I went to Harvard and studied at night class
- 32:00and studied cellular.
- 32:01I studied biology and cellular mitochondria health.
- 32:04And then, Dr. Yerth Elizabeth Yerth put me in a class
- 32:09and I became a cellular health coach.
- 32:11Then I worked with Dr. Dave Raven.
- 32:12I still work with timeline, by the way,
- 32:14because I believe so much in the cellular side of things.
- 32:17And I know that they actually had the studies the time.
- 32:20And I work with Dr. Dave Raven on the neuroscience.
- 32:23And then I went to Arizona State and studied neuroscience.
- 32:26So I know what I'm doing.
- 32:27So I'm a walking, talking billboard of what I live.
- 32:30And I believe in it and I use them every single day.
- 32:34And I never stop without fail.
- 32:35I don't just go, oh, look at this.
- 32:38This is what I got today.
- 32:39And then I throw it off to the side and never touch it.
- 32:42I would say that should be the way things are.
- 32:44I'm riding.
- 32:45People should be the most knowledgeable people on the fun.
- 32:48And that's why I see celebrity influencers
- 32:51and all this other kind of stuff.
- 32:52You're doing it for paycheck.
- 32:53Like, you had no idea what you're talking about,
- 32:56but you got a good deal.
- 32:57Yeah, it's a promoted product.
- 32:59I'm going to stop you for a second
- 33:01because you just said something.
- 33:02I hit a trigger and you did.
- 33:04No, it's nothing, nothing bad.
- 33:06That term celebrity, what the hell is a celebrity?
- 33:09The celebrity, you're me as the person that goes out
- 33:11and makes this significant difference.
- 33:13It's not somebody that acts.
- 33:14And you know what, I just had this conversation.
- 33:16What does an actor do?
- 33:18They act.
- 33:19They act.
- 33:20It's not a reality.
- 33:21They act.
- 33:22I, the celebrity, to me, a you,
- 33:24it's somebody that is making a difference.
- 33:26It's Sean out there.
- 33:27It's making a significant difference.
- 33:29That's a celebrity.
- 33:30Did Mary?
- 33:31Well, well, she's the phrase that the currency of success
- 33:33is in fact, hmm, that, I don't care what I'm on
- 33:35much money, Natalie.
- 33:36How would you have backed to the world?
- 33:37That's just it.
- 33:38Can you make this place better?
- 33:40How, how is being an actor or whatever,
- 33:42or idea that what, what are you doing for anybody?
- 33:46Seriously, so that I don't,
- 33:48I don't get in awe of anybody
- 33:50because every single person is the same.
- 33:53I, I used to, just like anybody else.
- 33:55And what I found was,
- 33:56A, I became more disappointed with what I,
- 33:58What about you here else?
- 33:59Yeah, you never do.
- 34:01And I, and I was telling you about the kids
- 34:03that I went and did the interview with.
- 34:04Well, my point was is when the way they reacted
- 34:09that I was even there.
- 34:10It almost broke my heart because I'm like,
- 34:12I told them I, I really, it was important to me
- 34:15to show them what a humble,
- 34:17huge person with humility and that everybody
- 34:20should live that way.
- 34:20And I, I told Queenie when I got done and I said,
- 34:23man, I hope that I, it over exceeded
- 34:26their expectation of what they got to where they,
- 34:29they, they got somebody on there
- 34:30that they felt was like something so special
- 34:33and so like up here.
- 34:35And I wanted them to know,
- 34:36no, I'm right here with you in the same spot.
- 34:38But I do want to inspire you and teach it.
- 34:41But at the same time, I'm good at what I do.
- 34:45You're good at what you do.
- 34:46They're good at what they're doing.
- 34:47Everybody's good at something.
- 34:48Now, some people don't find it.
- 34:50And I feel terrible about that.
- 34:52And I honestly, in part of my prayers,
- 34:54I sometimes I throw that in there
- 34:55that people will find what they're good at.
- 34:57But some people, and it really sucks.
- 35:01And it's not just our industry,
- 35:03but some of these people that you have to jump
- 35:05through 85 hoops to even get in touch with them
- 35:08or they want $100 to talk to you on the phone,
- 35:10or if they act like they don't have time
- 35:12or don't see messages or all of that.
- 35:14Dude, I don't care if I have 900 billion followers.
- 35:19I will get more humble talk to more people
- 35:22and you'll never ever have to pay to talk to me
- 35:25or walk by me and me.
- 35:27Look at you like that.
- 35:29That, that type of shit.
- 35:30What is it?
- 35:31My gamb is best friends.
- 35:32It mentioned him a while back.
- 35:33He was best friends with troubleery.
- 35:34I hope you, I said,
- 35:35so dad ain't chubby or best friend.
- 35:39And it's like,
- 35:40and one of the things I loved about Chuck,
- 35:42like he passed away a year and a half
- 35:43or two years ago.
- 35:44And it's like one of the things that was great about Chuck
- 35:47is because everybody in his generation knew Chuck.
- 35:50And everybody knew Chuck.
- 35:51Like you could walk through an airport with Chuck
- 35:54and it was annoying because,
- 35:55and I'd say it's annoying from my perspective,
- 35:58and he's chocked right and of whatever.
- 35:59Like people would literally like just stop and talk
- 36:03from where restaurants people would interrupt dinners
- 36:06and he gets a topic, right?
- 36:07At the end of the year,
- 36:07you're there with like the president
- 36:08or something that's chocked.
- 36:09Like, right.
- 36:10And he would stop every single time
- 36:15and talk to every single person who wanted to talk to him.
- 36:18And I always had such an admiration for that
- 36:21because it, and his answer was that
- 36:22even if he was having a terrible day
- 36:25and some woman walked out and just wanted to say,
- 36:27I like, he literally would stop what he was doing
- 36:29to spend a vent with her.
- 36:30And then you'd be like,
- 36:31relate for the flight.
- 36:32Yeah, he'd be like,
- 36:33but that meant something to her.
- 36:35That's right.
- 36:36Answer it.
- 36:37He said, yes, we're running late
- 36:38and that was an inconvenience.
- 36:40That made her day.
- 36:42And you don't know at all what they're going through,
- 36:46a simple smile or a simple hello,
- 36:48just something you have no idea.
- 36:50Like when I go for walks in the morning and everything
- 36:54and all these people walk by me in the path,
- 36:56you know, some people have their head down or whatever.
- 36:58I'd force them to say hi to me.
- 37:00Hi, dude, it's you.
- 37:02I swear to you, I said, I always put my hand up at a wave.
- 37:05Sometimes if I'm on the phone or wherever I put my hand up,
- 37:08I smile, I say morning, whatever,
- 37:09but I do, I don't care.
- 37:11Like I was even in LA and walking and not advised.
- 37:14So, oh, I was in a good, low area,
- 37:16but people that you can tell that I walk by,
- 37:19they just don't ever look at anybody,
- 37:20just put their heads down.
- 37:21I've made them all look at me, man.
- 37:23And we're getting worse like that as I say, we are cell phones.
- 37:26Go, heads down aren't just some people.
- 37:30They're just lonely, man.
- 37:31And nobody would ever do in the time of day
- 37:33to say anything to them.
- 37:34And that one word, you don't know if they were thinking
- 37:37about killing themselves and you stopped them.
- 37:39Cause I'd read a benzene about that.
- 37:41You don't know, or you don't know if they were so far down
- 37:44and that one thing pulled them out
- 37:46because they just gave them a little hope in humanity.
- 37:48I don't know, but even if you did it for one person,
- 37:51man, it's worth it.
- 37:52So, I'm gonna give you the last bit
- 37:55of our conversation here
- 37:56because you've talked multiple times about faith.
- 38:00Obviously, you're a megaphone,
- 38:03or your microphone to the world here
- 38:06is obviously you're socially, you're through YouTube,
- 38:08you're podcasting, you mention it.
- 38:11Obviously that niche that you feel is in healthcare
- 38:14and advocacy in healthcare of the fake place,
- 38:17such a huge art of your journey.
- 38:19And I love that.
- 38:20Like, it's all of it.
- 38:22It's not this, this, or this.
- 38:24It's all of it combined.
- 38:26Talk to me about how that affects your life
- 38:28and everything you do in the purpose of what you do.
- 38:31Because as I say, health is great,
- 38:34but being healthy and still have your terrible
- 38:37life isn't healthier all now.
- 38:40You can't be healthy without it.
- 38:42I don't care what anybody says.
- 38:45I don't care if it makes some people mad or I don't care.
- 38:49I have severe fear when it comes to talking about that.
- 38:52I don't care if somebody just followed me
- 38:55and they're like, they don't believe in God
- 38:57and then I'm not gonna post something about,
- 38:59you know, whatever.
- 39:00No, I'm gonna post it.
- 39:01And if you don't like it, I'm in the wrong room.
- 39:03I'm around the wrong people and I could care less.
- 39:06I don't need it and I don't want it.
- 39:08I will always go back and tell you
- 39:10when everything changed for me
- 39:11and I could reflect on it and take you down the whole path
- 39:14of it and it was the time where I just decided
- 39:17that in something penetrated by my heart
- 39:19where I said, I'm just, I'm gosh first from here on out.
- 39:23I used to, there were points and times
- 39:25where I made so much money that I remember
- 39:29Tell them, Queenie, I had tears rolling down my eyes
- 39:32and said, is this real?
- 39:33And I'll tell you what, I went and spent all this money
- 39:36and all this stuff.
- 39:37I have a beautiful home,
- 39:38cars that I've always dreamed of having,
- 39:40a beautiful wife, a beautiful family.
- 39:43And I go to bed and sometimes I look at her
- 39:45and I'd wonder, why the hell am I so miserable?
- 39:48And why do I have to keep buying something new
- 39:50every single day and it's just, it fills a gap
- 39:52for 20 minutes and then I just look at it and I'm just,
- 39:55I'm sad.
- 39:56What is it?
- 39:58What, why do I think that I had everything I ever wanted?
- 40:00I got people that recognized me everywhere I walk.
- 40:03I got all this going on and I just filled worse.
- 40:06I feel worse than damn it when I got out of prison
- 40:08and had nothing.
- 40:09Why?
- 40:10What have I missed?
- 40:11And I was on vacation and I strictly remembered
- 40:16like 230 of them where I was out.
- 40:18She was asleep and I was out sitting on the patio area
- 40:22and it was just, oh, you could hear the ocean
- 40:24and I was looking up and I just felt something
- 40:27and I don't even know what it was.
- 40:28And I've always prayed it in spiritual
- 40:30but never God first, Dylan first.
- 40:33And that's when it started and it carried over
- 40:35and then finally when I just, it penetrated me
- 40:39and I put God first and all that I do
- 40:41and I read the entire New Testament in like six months
- 40:44and I started basically what I understand now
- 40:46was training me to get ready for what I'm doing now.
- 40:49And when I realized that all of the training
- 40:51and the consolation, the desolation,
- 40:53in fact, to the consolation which means
- 40:55you're in a good state, bad state, good state.
- 40:57And you know, most people when they're in the bad states
- 41:00when they pray the most, I started to pray the most
- 41:02when I was in the good state
- 41:03because I was so appreciative and so thankful, so smart.
- 41:06And I actually struggle more when I'm in the bad state
- 41:08because I'm just like I'm consumed by it.
- 41:11Then it turns into okay, I got this good connection with God
- 41:15but now I'm lacking the trust
- 41:17because why am I so stressed?
- 41:18Why am I always like so out of whack
- 41:21and something doesn't go my way?
- 41:22So then I started to build the trust.
- 41:24So the foundation is set but it's just a foundation.
- 41:28There's so much more work to do.
- 41:30Work it on the trust, work it on the trust.
- 41:32I'm getting there, I'm getting there, it's getting better.
- 41:33You never gonna fully have it, we're human.
- 41:36But when you prioritize the trust in him,
- 41:39then you know that no matter what,
- 41:41everything's gonna fall into place somehow.
- 41:43It might not that day.
- 41:44It's not my timing, it's not in my control.
- 41:47And then I start to get into these situations
- 41:49where I'm in situations like last week.
- 41:54Well, you're going on stage right now.
- 41:57No, no, not that.
- 41:59I have no fear, no worry because I get the words I need.
- 42:02You know, in the Bible,
- 42:03it's several times when people
- 42:05are in a pressure situation, don't worry.
- 42:07Fear not because you're going to have what you need.
- 42:09And sometimes I walk when I go,
- 42:11I don't know how the hell I even need that.
- 42:13I know the word sandal.
- 42:14And I'll look back and go, man, did I read that?
- 42:16And I'll think, and then I come to it
- 42:18to find out now and just like, I laugh,
- 42:21I see a little prayer, I'm like, you're good.
- 42:23You're good at what you do.
- 42:24You know, I tell them something of the day
- 42:25and they're like, you know,
- 42:26because you know, you get to so many struggles in life.
- 42:28And my band, the waters have parted so many times.
- 42:30My bike, the reasons I never understood
- 42:32but my feet were always wet.
- 42:34No.
- 42:35When you stop asking questions
- 42:37and just receive the answers
- 42:39and don't worry about it and just know where it came from.
- 42:42Dude, that's when you're on to something.
- 42:43When you stop worrying and stop fearing
- 42:46and just start doing and just go with it
- 42:49and you've spread it to everybody else.
- 42:51You have no fear.
- 42:52You know where you came from.
- 42:54You know why you have it.
- 42:55There's so much freedom in not worrying
- 42:58about anything anybody says or anything else.
- 43:01I'm gonna bake a connection
- 43:02because God also knows that in that space
- 43:04your autonomic nervous system regulates.
- 43:07And in that position of faith,
- 43:10your parasympathetic nervous system kicks in
- 43:12and you're actually going to physically
- 43:14and physiologically heal
- 43:16because you're able to be in that position.
- 43:18Like stress keeps us someplace else
- 43:20and it's like, it absolutely ruins everything.
- 43:22I, my last book or last year,
- 43:25I've released a book called Radical Generace
- 43:28and it literally was a walk through
- 43:30a serotonin responses and everything else
- 43:33that it just relates to joy and generosity
- 43:37and love affection, right?
- 43:38But this is an hoxytocin release
- 43:40that our bodies receive when we're actually
- 43:41in this space and it's a cycle.
- 43:43Yeah, it's like once you get on that very go-round
- 43:46or there's no shutting it down.
- 43:47It's like, you know, joy leads to gratitude,
- 43:49gratitude leads to giving, giving the ifs of love
- 43:51that you're in this cycle with that corn.
- 43:53Let's say, and it's physiologically proven.
- 43:57I carry, so on my notes on my phone,
- 43:59I have all of the virtues listed just in case I forget.
- 44:02And in case I want to share
- 44:04and I go through them and won these to the next,
- 44:07to the next, to the next and they correlate
- 44:08and when you obtain these virtues
- 44:10and if you actually pray for the things
- 44:12that you're supposed to pray for
- 44:14and you are lying these within yourself,
- 44:16that's you'll notice you're at your very best.
- 44:20But without that alignment, then we can't,
- 44:23and this is how we're going to tie this to health
- 44:25without that alignment, you're off.
- 44:28Every single one has a certain purpose
- 44:31and a fixture into what we are to become.
- 44:35And let's look at this scientifically.
- 44:37I, my least favorite subject, my entire life
- 44:40that I despised that I hated, say science was science.
- 44:43I had to go to summer school to take biology in college
- 44:48because I absolutely hated it.
- 44:51And my whole life revolves around science now
- 44:54everything I read and want to study
- 44:55and learn about it scientifically.
- 44:57But I also had this thing in my head
- 44:58that science went against God.
- 45:01And then, yeah, can science is, that's exactly right.
- 45:04And let me tell you something.
- 45:04When I realized the intricate makeup of our body
- 45:09and what he did to make it the way that he did,
- 45:11now, didn't do a thing about this.
- 45:13You read in the Bible and most people just take it
- 45:16on the surface and don't understand
- 45:17conceptually what it means.
- 45:20If he had to do everything in seven days
- 45:22and there's 24 hours in a day.
- 45:24And as great as God is and he even had to rest,
- 45:27what does that tell you in the amount of work
- 45:29and thought that went into every single being
- 45:32or thing that we are?
- 45:33And then you look at our makeup, trillions of cells,
- 45:36trillions of cells, just in this body.
- 45:40That's that we're not talking about anything else.
- 45:42Functionality of organs, how are we aligned?
- 45:44This and that psychologically and physiologically, right?
- 45:48And you think about that in the beauty
- 45:50and what he did and what he made.
- 45:53He, this like you say, he is science.
- 45:55Science was his creation.
- 45:58Science is the study of trying to figure out what God did.
- 46:01That's exactly right.
- 46:03Wow, that's all it is.
- 46:05Wow, and we get that and we get our heads wrap around that.
- 46:08We'll understand it.
- 46:09I always say that in this space,
- 46:10there's the super spiritual people
- 46:12and there's the super scientific people
- 46:14and they all realized the same.
- 46:16Like, no, just again, it's the doctor looking
- 46:18with the knife in the back, right?
- 46:20You're just looking at it from a different perspective.
- 46:22I assure you, there's more harmony
- 46:23than either one of you want to realize.
- 46:25And Dylan, I gotta thank you, like,
- 46:27people like you who are voicing through health and science
- 46:31and all of these things through your podcast,
- 46:34through your social media are doing such a service
- 46:37to the community and the country and people follow you.
- 46:40But I always say you're doing kingdom service
- 46:42and by that people, people like you
- 46:45who have such a great audience,
- 46:47my buddy Austin, like, yeah, I love the guy.
- 46:50And it's like, he's faith forward
- 46:52and everything he does, Josh Axe has gotten
- 46:54so much more faith forward and everything he's doing.
- 46:57And like, there's a gap that's existed
- 47:01in this natural health space that's been far too boo.
- 47:05It's been far too sciencey.
- 47:07It's been far too anti-faith focus.
- 47:11And I just love to see that God is raising up men
- 47:13and women who are speaking truths through faith
- 47:18and connecting it to all of these things.
- 47:20Because they're not, these are not in opposition.
- 47:23And in matter of fact, there's a beautiful harmony
- 47:26between my body and soul.
- 47:28And we clinically want to treat the body
- 47:31apart from the others.
- 47:32And psychologically, we want to treat behavior
- 47:34without trying to treat spiritual issues
- 47:36or with a man spiritually.
- 47:37We're trying to bring people to God
- 47:38and I serve on the board of a recovery center.
- 47:42And my body spirit is the entire conversation
- 47:45because it's like, you take an addict
- 47:47and it's like, the fact that they're not doing drugs,
- 47:49things are better now.
- 47:50And it's like, no, they're not better now
- 47:51because all you're doing is you go to a recovery center
- 47:54and it's mountain-do cigarettes and guerrilla.
- 47:56It's all right, that's so bad.
- 47:58And I were just poisoning your physiology
- 48:00with something else and you know I'm not lying.
- 48:01And it's like, so yeah, okay, it's not heroin, got it?
- 48:05Great, but it's something else, right?
- 48:07And the issue is because we've never dealt
- 48:10at the spiritual side where we can't deal
- 48:12with the spiritual side unless we get
- 48:14through the emotional walls that are blocking you up.
- 48:17And I can't get into the psychology
- 48:19if I can't get your physiology to even accept it.
- 48:23Like, you're still physically broken.
- 48:25I can't get into a psychological break through or vik you
- 48:28until your cells are willing to accept it too.
- 48:31And because they're each dropping.
- 48:32That's right.
- 48:33Your body is even dropping.
- 48:34Everything that's going on in your mind and your spirit.
- 48:37I think that connection, I'd appreciate it
- 48:39but feel like you who speak that truth in integrated fashion
- 48:43because we are integrated about all things.
- 48:45That's right.
- 48:46So thank you so much.
- 48:47I know we're wrapping up here,
- 48:48but dude, it is a bit such a pleasure
- 48:50talking to you on here.
- 48:51I think it's so fun.
- 48:53I don't think I need to tell you we're fine.
- 48:55Please, you know it.
- 48:56I think everybody knows that answer already.
- 48:58Or at least one and a half million if you do.
- 49:00But I'm going to tell you,
- 49:01go follow Dylan's podcast.
- 49:03Go follow his Instagram feed.
- 49:05There's so much good information
- 49:06that you share on a regular basis.
- 49:08And what I appreciate that I personally
- 49:11is the authenticity by which you share.
- 49:14I think that comes through
- 49:15an every thing you do.
- 49:17You're not a promoter.
- 49:19You're an influencer.
- 49:21Probably reluctantly in many ways.
- 49:24Persuade, I'll be in poor.
- 49:25Persuade, dangerous, maybe dude.
- 49:28But he's definitely out there speaking truth
- 49:30in all of these aspects of the integration
- 49:32of mind, body and soul.
- 49:33And above that, also tells me,
- 49:37I'd been on timeline for years,
- 49:38but I would say I also believe anything
- 49:40that Dylan promotes is worth checking out
- 49:43to do because I know we balladates that kind of stuff.
- 49:46And in the space,
- 49:47there's a lot of if they pay me,
- 49:48I'll talk about it kind of,
- 49:49kind of deals that go on.
- 49:51Not you.
- 49:52Now, and that's that's so genuine.
- 49:53No, look at everything has to be.
- 49:56First of all, set to me research used,
- 49:59but I need a lot of other aspects.
- 50:02Like I need to know the people behind it,
- 50:04what their motives are.
- 50:06I need to see real world results,
- 50:08not just a bunch of doctor studies.
- 50:09There's a lot of things that I have to do
- 50:12for my own comfort level.
