An Ontario Provincial Police officer in North York faces serious charges after using a conducted energy weapon on a driver during a traffic stop on Yonge Street in January. The officer, 35-year-old Kevin Noh with nine years of service, is now charged with assault and assault with a weapon following an internal investigation by the OPP’s Professional Standards Unit. Noh has been placed on administrative duties and is scheduled for his first court appearance on October 2nd as the case continues to unfold.
