- 0:00Speaker 1: Today we declare again that America is going to be
- 0:04Speaker 1: greater than ever before. It's going to be great. You know,
- 0:06Speaker 1: I had a little expression that I came up with
- 0:09Speaker 1: called make America great Again. Mega.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Who thought that was going to happen when we first
- 0:13Speaker 2: said it ten years ago.
- 0:16Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Saturday morning.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Nice to have you with us on the forty seven
- 0:23Speaker 2: Morning Update, and we've got two big stories for you.
- 0:25Speaker 2: First up, we are finding out more now than ever
- 0:28Speaker 2: before about how the government was labeling people they didn't
- 0:32Speaker 2: like his quote, conduits of Russian disinformation, and you'll be
- 0:36Speaker 2: even more shocked to say who was on their list
- 0:38Speaker 2: that are victims that should be protected. Also, we take
- 0:42Speaker 2: a look and break down there Wisconsin election results. Some
- 0:46Speaker 2: are cheering on the fact that one of the radicals
- 0:48Speaker 2: in the DSA lost the election, but did they really lose?
- 0:53Speaker 1: The details tell a very different story.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I also want to say something really important that I
- 0:59Speaker 2: want you to be able to get involved in right now,
- 1:01Speaker 2: and that is simply praying for the people of Israel.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Though the headlines may change, the threats facing Israel remain.
- 1:08Speaker 2: While much of the world has moved on to the
- 1:09Speaker 2: next story. Israeli families continue living with the reality of terrorism, uncertainty,
- 1:15Speaker 2: and recovery. Communities remain unalert, and parents still think twice
- 1:19Speaker 2: before seeing their children to school. Families continue rebuilding their lives,
- 1:24Speaker 2: knowing that the next siren could come without warning now,
- 1:27Speaker 2: as Christians were called to stand with God's children in
- 1:30Speaker 2: times of need. That's why the International Fellowship of Christians
- 1:33Speaker 2: and Jews remains on the ground in the Holy Land.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Each and every day. They are providing life saving aid,
- 1:39Speaker 2: food for the struggling families, emergency assistants, bomb shelters, and
- 1:43Speaker 2: critical support for those impacted by war. Even after the
- 1:48Speaker 2: cameras leave in the headline's fate, the Fellowship remains committed
- 1:51Speaker 2: to Israel's most vulnerable. So I want you to join
- 1:54Speaker 2: the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews in simply praying
- 1:58Speaker 2: for the people of Israel, for protection, for strength, and
- 2:02Speaker 2: for lasting peace. Together we can remind God's people that
- 2:06Speaker 2: they are not alone. You can stand with Israel in
- 2:09Speaker 2: prayer today by visiting Prey IFCJ dot org. It's real simple,
- 2:14Speaker 2: that's prey IFCJ dot org. It's the forty seven Morning
- 2:18Speaker 2: update and it starts right.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Now, story number one.
- 2:22Speaker 2: In a shocking report, the Federal Bureau of Investigations allegedly
- 2:26Speaker 2: labeled people such as the former Secretary of State Mike
- 2:30Speaker 2: Pompeo and the former Attorney General Bill Barr that would
- 2:35Speaker 2: be the boss of the FBI as conduits quote unquote
- 2:40Speaker 2: of Russian disinformation, according to this recent report. The report
- 2:46Speaker 2: from Just the News revealed it a spreadsheet that was
- 2:49Speaker 2: recovered from the US Intelligence Agency files and that the
- 2:54Speaker 2: White House Government Transparency Task Force made public quote unquote
- 2:59Speaker 2: contain names such as the former Secretary of State Hillary
- 3:02Speaker 2: Clinton and former President Barack Obama, along with Pompeo and
- 3:07Speaker 2: bar While people like Barr and Pompeo were labeled as
- 3:11Speaker 2: quote conduits of Russian disinformation, peoples such as Hillary Clinton
- 3:17Speaker 2: and Barack Obama were labeled as targets.
- 3:21Speaker 1: This is not a joke.
- 3:23Speaker 2: A spreadsheet that was recovered from US Intelligence Agency files
- 3:27Speaker 2: and has now been made public Wednesday by the White
- 3:30Speaker 2: House Government Transparency Task Force shows that spy agencies and
- 3:36Speaker 2: the FBI created a list of more than six dozen
- 3:40Speaker 2: prominent organizations, Americans or foreigners who became figures in the
- 3:47Speaker 2: Biden family Ukraine scandal, and that the twenty nineteen impeachment
- 3:52Speaker 2: proceedings against President Donald Trump as well. Now the spreadsheet,
- 3:57Speaker 2: and again this is not a joke. Neatly divided figures
- 4:02Speaker 2: along one issue you ready for it, political affiliations, in
- 4:08Speaker 2: other words, political party lines. They had the Democrats like
- 4:14Speaker 2: the Bidens, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Barack Obama, George Soros
- 4:21Speaker 2: listed as victimized quote unquote targets of Russian disinformation. And
- 4:27Speaker 2: then the other side, the Conservatives, the Republicans, groups like
- 4:32Speaker 2: Fox News One, American News, even filmmaker Michael Computo and
- 4:39Speaker 2: Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani as quote conduits for disinformation.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Even the late Senator Lindsay Graham and Representative Jim Jordan
- 4:51Speaker 2: were also labeled quote conduits. An administration official explain to
- 4:57Speaker 2: the outlet that the labeling of peoples either a conduit
- 5:00Speaker 2: or a target of disinformation was reportedly part of a
- 5:04Speaker 2: secret counterintelligence operation code name Round River. It was launched
- 5:12Speaker 2: apparently during the twenty twenty election cycle. Now, the report
- 5:16Speaker 2: from the outlet also noted that an FBI letter that's
- 5:19Speaker 2: now been made public showed that the FBI had identified
- 5:23Speaker 2: at least fourteen different informants who were quote providing derogatory
- 5:30Speaker 2: information on the bidens.
- 5:33Speaker 1: In other words, this.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Was a political hit list, a political enemies list, a
- 5:39Speaker 2: list of Republicans that the deep state wanted to target
- 5:43Speaker 2: and silence. Now, in the letter to the White House
- 5:46Speaker 2: Government Transparency Task Force, the FBI Director Cash Pattel also
- 5:52Speaker 2: stated that the FBI was quote investigating weather the Foreign
- 5:57Speaker 2: Influenced Task Force, known as FTA use information learn from
- 6:03Speaker 2: the Round River assessment to undermine or influence ongoing investigations.
- 6:09Speaker 2: The FBI director Patel also said the task force was
- 6:13Speaker 2: terminated on his watch. Now, there were also other internal
- 6:18Speaker 2: reviews of the FtF, and they're not yet complete. We've
- 6:22Speaker 2: been told that we know that the investigation used information
- 6:27Speaker 2: learn from the Round River assessment. And the real question
- 6:30Speaker 2: that everyone needs to be asking now is this was
- 6:34Speaker 2: the FtF using information it was learned from the Round
- 6:38Speaker 2: River assessment to then undermine or then influence ongoing investigations
- 6:45Speaker 2: by only focusing on the subset of confidential human sources
- 6:50Speaker 2: involving the bidens.
- 6:52Speaker 1: That is what Patel reportedly has said in the letter.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Now, if you take a step back and you say, okay,
- 6:58Speaker 2: so what is this act actually mean. What it means
- 7:03Speaker 2: is that our government apparently was having lists that were
- 7:07Speaker 2: put together. One list to say that, if you're a Democrat,
- 7:11Speaker 2: we automatically are going to treat you like you are
- 7:14Speaker 2: a victim, and then our job is to protect you.
- 7:19Speaker 2: And the other list, which is if you were a
- 7:20Speaker 2: conservative or a Republican, including a news organization like Fox News,
- 7:26Speaker 2: then you were the target. You were the one that
- 7:30Speaker 2: was pushing the propaganda against the quote Democrats, and so
- 7:35Speaker 2: therefore you should be investigated. This is the most shocking
- 7:40Speaker 2: list that we've seen today because it showed as those
- 7:44Speaker 2: they believed were friends of Russia, those that were advocates
- 7:48Speaker 2: of what they described as Russian disinformation campaigns to influence America.
- 7:53Speaker 2: The people on that list that the deep state was
- 7:56Speaker 2: going after were people like the Secretary of State and
- 8:00Speaker 2: the man who is the Attorney General, Bill Barr of
- 8:03Speaker 2: the United States of America. And what's even more shocking
- 8:06Speaker 2: than that is the people that were quote doing the investigation,
- 8:10Speaker 2: who were putting these people on the list. We're supposed
- 8:14Speaker 2: to be serving the people that were on this list.
- 8:18Speaker 2: You talk about the deep state, you talk about the swamp,
- 8:22Speaker 2: you talk about those that were fighting against Donald Trump
- 8:25Speaker 2: and other conservatives.
- 8:27Speaker 1: This is exactly what we thought was happening.
- 8:30Speaker 2: And now we have the data, the receipts, the emails,
- 8:36Speaker 2: the lists that are being made public. The question now
- 8:40Speaker 2: is who was creating the list? Are those people still
- 8:44Speaker 2: in our government? And will there be accountability for this?
- 8:48Speaker 2: That is the question so many Americans are asking, and
- 8:52Speaker 2: based on this being released now, there's a very good
- 8:55Speaker 2: chance that we're headed towards that type of accountability. Next
- 9:00Speaker 2: story number two, something happened Tuesday night in Wisconsin that
- 9:04Speaker 2: conservatives should pay very close attention to because after months
- 9:08Speaker 2: of headlines talking about the Democratic Socialists of America and
- 9:11Speaker 2: the fact that they're marching through the Democratic Party, the
- 9:15Speaker 2: socialist's favorite just got stopped in one of the most
- 9:18Speaker 2: important swing states in America. Now, that could be good news,
- 9:23Speaker 2: but it also could tell you about how close they've gotten,
- 9:25Speaker 2: which could be a big warning sign as well. The
- 9:29Speaker 2: Democratic Socialists Hong lost the Democratic primary for the governor
- 9:34Speaker 2: to the Milwaukee County executive, David Crowley, and this was
- 9:39Speaker 2: not the outcome many people expected. Hong had been widely
- 9:42Speaker 2: viewed as the front runner, and Crowley's victory is being
- 9:46Speaker 2: described as nothing but an upset. Axios report that Crowley
- 9:51Speaker 2: won by only around three thousand votes, after internal polling
- 9:55Speaker 2: had reportedly shown him trailing Hong by nearly twenty points.
- 10:00Speaker 2: The other question is how the posters get it so wrong. Now,
- 10:04Speaker 2: the socialist candidate looked like she was cruising towards a
- 10:07Speaker 2: major victory. She had the energy, she had the activists,
- 10:11Speaker 2: she had, the momentum coming from the Democratic Party's increasingly
- 10:15Speaker 2: powerful progressive winging. In fact, the polls showing that she
- 10:18Speaker 2: was up by twenty maybe the reason why she actually
- 10:22Speaker 2: lost because many people that were going to vote for
- 10:25Speaker 2: her thought they didn't need to show up on election
- 10:27Speaker 2: day because it was already a foregone conclusion that she
- 10:31Speaker 2: was going to win. And then Wisconsin Democrats slammed on
- 10:36Speaker 2: the brakes is another way you could interpret this story.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Now, this matters because.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Wisconsin isn't some deep blue congressional district in New York City.
- 10:46Speaker 2: It's literally Wisconsin. It's one of the ultimate American battleground states. Now,
- 10:52Speaker 2: Donald Trump won Wisconsin in twenty sixteen, Joe Biden won
- 10:56Speaker 2: it in twenty twenty and then it switched back to
- 11:00Speaker 2: Trump again in twenty twenty four, and now Republicans have
- 11:04Speaker 2: nominated Congressman Tom Tiffany, who is endorsed by President Trump,
- 11:08Speaker 2: to run against Crowley in November. So why should conservatives
- 11:13Speaker 2: find hope in what just happened? Well, in a basic level,
- 11:17Speaker 2: because the socialist movement is discovering that winning an activist
- 11:21Speaker 2: driven democratic primary in a deep blue district is very
- 11:25Speaker 2: different from convincing an entire battleground state to embrace your radical,
- 11:30Speaker 2: extreme ideology.
- 11:32Speaker 1: That's one way again to look at it.
- 11:34Speaker 2: The other is this, and it's more pessimistic, but it
- 11:38Speaker 2: may also be very true. The real reason why hang
- 11:42Speaker 2: loss is because the polls showed that there was no
- 11:45Speaker 2: way she was really going to lose. If you're up
- 11:48Speaker 2: twenty points in a primary, many of your supporters are
- 11:51Speaker 2: much less likely to show up on election day to
- 11:53Speaker 2: vote for you. So this could be great news. It
- 11:57Speaker 2: also could be terrible news. Hung wasn't hiding, by the way,
- 12:01Speaker 2: what she represented. She was identifying openly as a democratic socialist.
- 12:07Speaker 2: She had joined the Wisconsin Assembly Socialist Caucus and had
- 12:11Speaker 2: previously received the endorsement of the Madison chapter of the
- 12:14Speaker 2: Democratic Socialists of America now Democratic voters, they had to
- 12:19Speaker 2: decide who they wanted to representing their party statewide. Enough
- 12:23Speaker 2: of them concluded, at least an election day that going
- 12:26Speaker 2: further left was a risk they weren't willing to take,
- 12:29Speaker 2: meaning they would lose the state to the conservative or
- 12:31Speaker 2: the Republican candidate. Or it could be what I said
- 12:35Speaker 2: a moment ago, maybe they all just assumed she was
- 12:38Speaker 2: going to win by so much that so many people
- 12:41Speaker 2: in the state that are Democrats stayed home and said,
- 12:44Speaker 2: I'm not going to waste my time. That very well
- 12:48Speaker 2: could be why she lost this race. Now I don't
- 12:52Speaker 2: say that to be a Debbie Downer. I say it
- 12:54Speaker 2: because my job is to tell you what I think
- 12:56Speaker 2: actually happened, and I think that's probably what happened in
- 13:00Speaker 2: this case. The headlines and the media had already anointed
- 13:03Speaker 2: Hong and said that Hong was going to win. And
- 13:06Speaker 2: when you say that, it is the kiss of death
- 13:09Speaker 2: in politics. If anything, you want people to be inspired
- 13:13Speaker 2: to go vote for you, if they support you, you
- 13:15Speaker 2: don't want them to feel like they're wasting their time.
- 13:17Speaker 2: And it's a foregone conclusion that you are the winner.
- 13:22Speaker 2: There's many that believe that this is exactly why Hillary
- 13:24Speaker 2: Clinton lost to Donald Trump in twenty sixteen, because the
- 13:28Speaker 2: media had already said she was breaking the glass ceiling.
- 13:31Speaker 2: The media and the polls already said she was going
- 13:33Speaker 2: to win by a large margin. It was a massive
- 13:36Speaker 2: upset and election night that I celebrated when Donald Trump won,
- 13:40Speaker 2: but it was a cautionary tale. At the same time,
- 13:43Speaker 2: there was quite a few Democrats and some swing states
- 13:46Speaker 2: that stayed home that did not go vote for Hillary Clinton,
- 13:50Speaker 2: and we may be witnessing exactly that right now.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Now.
- 13:53Speaker 2: The biggest takeaway is this was the Democratic Party crushing
- 13:58Speaker 2: the socialists on Tuesday night in Wisconsin. No, is the
- 14:02Speaker 2: Democratic socialists Marxist communist.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Movement so live and well.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yes, is this a small victory for conservatives and for sanity. Absolutely,
- 14:14Speaker 2: But is this a trend that could be saying we're
- 14:17Speaker 2: maybe coming back to sanity.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I do not believe that's what this is.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I believe what we witnessed was an over confident Marxist
- 14:26Speaker 2: communist socialist voter who believed that they were going to
- 14:30Speaker 2: run away with an election night in a primary against
- 14:33Speaker 2: a Democrat they thought was going to lose. Now, Republicans
- 14:38Speaker 2: have to also be careful because these people are going
- 14:41Speaker 2: to be way more inspired to show up on election day,
- 14:45Speaker 2: which is exactly what my concern is nationwide on midterm
- 14:49Speaker 2: election night, these types of losses can turn into bigger
- 14:53Speaker 2: victories because now there's a rallying cry for the socialists
- 14:57Speaker 2: in America to show up on election day, and we
- 15:00Speaker 2: as conservatives need to make sure we don't take election
- 15:03Speaker 2: day for granted either. We need to make sure we
- 15:06Speaker 2: show up and vote, otherwise the story could change in
- 15:10Speaker 2: just a few months to say that Republicans got blown
- 15:13Speaker 2: out on election night because they were overconfident.
