- 0:00Speaker 1: Back to Marsillon, or well, what's the day today, Tuesday.
- 0:10Speaker 1: I've already went out. I'm worn out already. I've been
- 0:12Speaker 1: off for a couple of weeks. This is exhausting. Two
- 0:15Speaker 1: days in a row of this, this is you see. Yeah,
- 0:18Speaker 1: you get out of shape, you know you. Yeah, But
- 0:21Speaker 1: we'll get back into it five days a week. We
- 0:23Speaker 1: got lots to get to this hour. Actually, I got
- 0:26Speaker 1: thousands and thousands of pages of stuff here that I
- 0:29Speaker 1: wanted to talk about that I never got to mention.
- 0:31Speaker 1: But we'll get to it all before the week is over.
- 0:35Speaker 1: We try to be like a pipeline to the real story.
- 0:39Speaker 1: You know, if you're watching fake news, you get bombarded
- 0:41Speaker 1: with all this nonsense. The CBS Evening News, as we
- 0:45Speaker 1: mentioned yesterday, it's getting a little better. They're cleaning up
- 0:48Speaker 1: their act a little. It's still partisan, but not as
- 0:51Speaker 1: much as the other networks. They're cleaning it up. They're
- 0:53Speaker 1: getting a little more heading towards the center. They'll never
- 0:59Speaker 1: quite get there, but they're getting closer to it. A
- 1:01Speaker 1: big mix up yesterday on the CBS Evening News. It
- 1:04Speaker 1: was great to watch. They didn't seem to know what
- 1:06Speaker 1: story they were going to next the guy finished the
- 1:09Speaker 1: Maduro story. The new anchor, good looking guy. I can't
- 1:12Speaker 1: remember his name. I think they're trying to copy David Muwer.
- 1:17Speaker 1: That's the most successful evening newscasts in fact, in many weeks,
- 1:21Speaker 1: it's the number one show in all the television and
- 1:23Speaker 1: even primetime. So I think they're looking for that formula.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Real good looking, a mannequin sort of a guy, keep
- 1:30Speaker 1: the graphics, everything moving real fast. That's what they're going
- 1:34Speaker 1: to try. So they finished the story Maduro, and then
- 1:37Speaker 1: he thought they were going to the Mark Kelly story,
- 1:40Speaker 1: but they put up a different graphic and then he
- 1:43Speaker 1: stops right on the eggs. Wait a minute, which story
- 1:45Speaker 1: were we on? And they're talking to him in his
- 1:46Speaker 1: earphone and everybody's getting confused. They tell him which story.
- 1:49Speaker 1: He goes to that, but the graphics still come up
- 1:52Speaker 1: something else. So but he handled it pretty well. He
- 1:55Speaker 1: handled it pretty well, he said, you first week, everything's
- 1:58Speaker 1: going crazy, but that's okay. It actually went viral that clip.
- 2:03Speaker 1: It's pretty good actually, because they may have even done
- 2:05Speaker 1: it deliberately, because it gets a lot of attention that
- 2:08Speaker 1: there's a new anchor that when people see a clip
- 2:11Speaker 1: like that, everywhere. It's good promotion. It's better than any
- 2:14Speaker 1: advertising you could buy. But we try to bring you
- 2:18Speaker 1: the straight story, like here's the real facts, here's what's
- 2:20Speaker 1: really going on. Here's what they don't tell you in
- 2:23Speaker 1: fake news. They just leave a lot of stuff out,
- 2:26Speaker 1: you know, like when it comes to Maduro, they don't
- 2:29Speaker 1: tell you. You know, when Schumer says how this is the
- 2:32Speaker 1: most outrageous, illegal, most crazy thing anybody's ever done, they
- 2:38Speaker 1: never point out on any of these fake newscasts that
- 2:40Speaker 1: for ten years Schumer has been calling for this. Every Democrat, Pelosi, Schumer,
- 2:45Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren, everybody can name. They've been yelling and screaming
- 2:49Speaker 1: to get rid of Maduro, to take them out, to
- 2:51Speaker 1: remove all screaming about it. And they're just children. They're
- 2:56Speaker 1: just childish. Now that it happened, they act like they
- 2:57Speaker 1: hate it. Then they make up all the stuff it's
- 3:00Speaker 1: a violation of international law. They never tell you there's
- 3:03Speaker 1: no such thing anywhere as any international law that the
- 3:06Speaker 1: United States has to follow international law. Where is this
- 3:11Speaker 1: international law coming from? And then they tell you the
- 3:14Speaker 1: War Powers Act. This has nothing to do with the
- 3:16Speaker 1: War Powers Act. If you wanted to go to war.
- 3:19Speaker 1: First of all, you know, if you went to war,
- 3:21Speaker 1: you don't have to follow the War Powers Act. But
- 3:23Speaker 1: that's really what it's for. If you decided to go
- 3:25Speaker 1: to war with the country. It doesn't apply to quick
- 3:28Speaker 1: two hour military operations. It has nothing to do with that.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You don't need any approval. Here's Mike Johnson.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Despite the claims by some of my colleagues, under the
- 3:38Speaker 2: War Powers Act, there is no requirement for prior congressional
- 3:42Speaker 2: approval or prior notification. And in fact, in this case,
- 3:46Speaker 2: the intelligence was so sensitive the conditions had to be perfect.
- 3:50Speaker 2: There was no predetermination of when exactly it would occur.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a top secret. You you're gonna trust that
- 3:56Speaker 1: with Hakeem Jeffries. And then this Schumer, you know, with
- 3:59Speaker 1: his new glasses, it gets all bent out of shape.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You see the glasses fogging up. He gets mad.
- 4:04Speaker 3: I did not receive any assurances that we would not
- 4:08Speaker 3: try to do the same thing in other countries. And
- 4:12Speaker 3: in conclusion, when the United States engages in this kind
- 4:17Speaker 3: of regime change and so called nation building, it always
- 4:22Speaker 3: ends up hurting the United States.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Well, then why were you calling for it for ten years?
- 4:26Speaker 1: For ten years you've been demanding it. I give credit
- 4:30Speaker 1: to CNN. They had that awful Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy
- 4:34Speaker 1: on last night, who's such a hypocrite on this that
- 4:37Speaker 1: they actually on CNN they actually confronted him with it.
- 4:41Speaker 1: They put up his statement from like a year ago
- 4:43Speaker 1: calling for the immediate capture and the ouster of Maduro.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It was such a flip flop. They even confronted him
- 4:50Speaker 1: about it, and he didn't know what the hell does
- 4:52Speaker 1: say getting rid of Maduro? It's a great thing. Here's
- 4:54Speaker 1: Stephen Miller.
- 4:54Speaker 4: And as a result of that cooperation, the people of
- 4:57Speaker 4: Venezbela are going to become richer than they ever have before. Course,
- 5:00Speaker 4: the United States is gonna benefit from this massively in
- 5:03Speaker 4: terms of economic security and military cooperation kind of narcotics,
- 5:08Speaker 4: counter terrorism, and every other dimension of our security.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Again, I don't know what the hell he was doing
- 5:12Speaker 1: with drugs. Why wouldn't Maduro get involved with drugs. He's
- 5:15Speaker 1: sitting on twenty percent of the world's oil. Is seventeen
- 5:19Speaker 1: trillion dollars worth of oil right under the ground there.
- 5:22Speaker 1: All you'd do is take it out, and you could
- 5:24Speaker 1: be the whole country with all that oil they could
- 5:27Speaker 1: all be Saudi princes, they could all be oligarchs, everybody
- 5:30Speaker 1: in the country. It would look like a Dubai. It's
- 5:34Speaker 1: easy to do. Just fix the infrastructure and start pumping
- 5:38Speaker 1: the oil. There's three hundred billion barrels there underneath. So
- 5:44Speaker 1: the other thing the fake news does, besides leaving out
- 5:47Speaker 1: ninety percent of the story so you don't get the
- 5:49Speaker 1: full picture, they create these myths, these narratives. You know,
- 5:55Speaker 1: like Marjorie Taylor Green had a big fight with Trump,
- 5:58Speaker 1: not that he had much to do with her. I mean,
- 6:00Speaker 1: met her a couple of times, but he had really
- 6:02Speaker 1: no connection with her. Once in a while they be
- 6:04Speaker 1: together at some event or something, but very little connection
- 6:08Speaker 1: to Marjorie Tayler Green. She got mad, they got no
- 6:10Speaker 1: fight about something. She anyway, she quit, She's leaving. And
- 6:15Speaker 1: you'll see these stories all over fake news. MAGA torn apart.
- 6:19Speaker 1: There's a rift in MAGA. All in Maga's torn apart
- 6:23Speaker 1: by this nobody in MAGA. There are some people like
- 6:25Speaker 1: Marjorie Taylor Green, but it's a bunch of people away
- 6:28Speaker 1: over there, has nothing to do with MAGA. It's like
- 6:31Speaker 1: Steve Bannon will criticize Trump. Remember Steve Bannon. He's still around,
- 6:35Speaker 1: but you'll see Civil War and Mega. Steve Bannon has
- 6:40Speaker 1: nothing to do with the most of MAGA. If you
- 6:44Speaker 1: go in the cabinet room with Rubio and Scott Bessant
- 6:47Speaker 1: and Doug Bergham, they're not they're not thinking about Steve Bannon,
- 6:53Speaker 1: they're not worried about it. Nobody cares. It's like this guy,
- 6:56Speaker 1: George Conway. You remember George Conway was a thing called
- 7:01Speaker 1: the Lincoln Project. You remember how he went after Trump.
- 7:03Speaker 1: He had been married to the great Kelly Anne Conway,
- 7:06Speaker 1: but then they broke up when he went insane literally,
- 7:11Speaker 1: insane politically, and he's been attacking Trump. Remember that Lincoln
- 7:16Speaker 1: Project where they really went after him, all kinds of
- 7:18Speaker 1: made up nonsense. So now Conway is coming to New York.
- 7:22Speaker 1: He's gonna run for the seat. Is it Jerry Nadler's seat.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Jerry Nadler's not running for reelection. He's decided to leave
- 7:30Speaker 1: Congress and just devote full time to eating. So a
- 7:33Speaker 1: Conway will run for the seat. Now he doesn't live here.
- 7:37Speaker 1: He lives in Maryland. He used to live here, I
- 7:41Speaker 1: don't know, ten years ago, fifteen years he lived here,
- 7:44Speaker 1: but he's been living in Maryland's. I don't know how
- 7:45Speaker 1: he run for this seat, but he's gonna do it.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So if you watch the fake news, the MS, Now
- 7:49Speaker 1: Morning Joe, fake stuff, all they keep talking about is
- 7:54Speaker 1: if George Conway wins, it'll be an incredible thorn in
- 7:57Speaker 1: the side of Donald Trump. He'll be going after Donald Trump.
- 8:01Speaker 1: It'll be an incredible at tax on Donald. No again,
- 8:06Speaker 1: nobody in that cabinet room cares about George Conway. If
- 8:10Speaker 1: you mentioned the name, they'd look at you. You'd have
- 8:12Speaker 1: to describe him for two minutes before they remember who
- 8:14Speaker 1: the hell he is. No matter how much he attacks him,
- 8:17Speaker 1: it can't be any more than he's already been attacking him.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And it doesn't mean anything to them now. And let's
- 8:22Speaker 1: say he had that congressional seat and used it to
- 8:24Speaker 1: attack Trump, Well, it'd be the same thing as Nadler.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Nobody was a bigger critic than Nadler. It means absolutely nothing,
- 8:32Speaker 1: nothing to Donald Trump or MAGA or anything. But they
- 8:35Speaker 1: build it up like it's some big problem. And then
- 8:38Speaker 1: there's this pole that they released today, one of those aps.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Something Reuter is some fake news poll about seventy five
- 8:47Speaker 1: percent of America is not happy with capturing Maduro. They're
- 8:50Speaker 1: against it. Well, if you look into the metrics of
- 8:53Speaker 1: the pole, it's totally rigged, totally slanted. The question is
- 8:57Speaker 1: all wrong. They used the wrong group, the wrong the
- 9:00Speaker 1: wrong this the wrong time. And it was before anybody
- 9:05Speaker 1: knew anything about it was as soon as it happened
- 9:09Speaker 1: a couple days later. Everybody's had it explained to them
- 9:12Speaker 1: a million different ways. So if you did a real
- 9:14Speaker 1: poll with the right demographics and the right metrics right now,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you'd get a whole different reading. Hey, a lot of
- 9:21Speaker 1: celebrities got stranded because of the Maduro raid. When they
- 9:28Speaker 1: did that operation down there in South America, they closed
- 9:32Speaker 1: the airspace for a long distance because they didn't know
- 9:36Speaker 1: where those planes would have to go and get out.
- 9:38Speaker 1: They closed airspace. And this was the final days of
- 9:42Speaker 1: the Christmas break, the weekend Saturday and Sunday. So when
- 9:46Speaker 1: they closed the airspace, a lot of people could not
- 9:48Speaker 1: get off there. You know, some people go to these
- 9:51Speaker 1: crazy islands down there, like Saint Bart's and all those places.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So all these celebrities stranded, they could not get out,
- 9:58Speaker 1: airspace closed, their planes couldn't take off, though. They're all
- 10:01Speaker 1: yelling and screaming and complaining. Imagine complaining. Imagine you're a
- 10:06Speaker 1: millionaire celebrity. You're complaining that you had to spend an
- 10:08Speaker 1: extra two days at Saint Bart's. This is a big,
- 10:13Speaker 1: big problem to them, but they all got out eventually.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Speaking of celebrities, too many documentaries, there's too many documentaries.
- 10:23Speaker 1: There's one. I forgot to tell you about this, but
- 10:25Speaker 1: you should watch this. You know. Fox Nation is a Fox,
- 10:30Speaker 1: a twentieth century Fox. They started this. It's their streaming service.
- 10:33Speaker 1: It's called Fox Nation. It's got a lot of great shows.
- 10:36Speaker 1: But they just came out with the Sinatra documentary. I
- 10:39Speaker 1: already told you about this about four or five months ago.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Maybe it was six months ago. I'm in the documentary,
- 10:44Speaker 1: but that's when they were filming the whole thing. But
- 10:47Speaker 1: it's called Sinatra. What's it called Echoes of an Icon?
- 10:52Speaker 1: I'm not crazy about the title. But it's a great documentary.
- 10:56Speaker 1: It's two parts, two hours, and then there's an additional
- 11:01Speaker 1: a bunch of segments that you can watch. But it's
- 11:04Speaker 1: phenomenal and they spent a fortune on it because they
- 11:08Speaker 1: have all the rare clips and recordings and film clips,
- 11:12Speaker 1: tv clips. You gotta pay to use all these clips,
- 11:14Speaker 1: so they spend a lot of money. But it's on
- 11:16Speaker 1: Fox Nation. Fox Nation that you have to have a subscription,
- 11:20Speaker 1: but they're pretty cheap the subscriptions to Fox Nation, and
- 11:24Speaker 1: you'll love it. They got a lot of great programs.
- 11:25Speaker 1: But sign up for Fox Nation and then search for
- 11:28Speaker 1: Sinatra echoes of an icon Sinatra. Just type in Sinatra
- 11:33Speaker 1: and this documentary will come out. I'm in it. I'm
- 11:35Speaker 1: all through it, and there are a lot of people are
- 11:37Speaker 1: in it. But when it first was released, I just
- 11:40Speaker 1: wanted to watch it for a few minutes because I
- 11:42Speaker 1: just want to see what I look like in it.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I mean, to be honest, I could say they spent
- 11:46Speaker 1: a lot of money lighting the thing, in the set
- 11:47Speaker 1: and the whole thing. They just want to see how
- 11:49Speaker 1: it looked. So I was just gonna watch for five
- 11:52Speaker 1: minutes just to see if I look bad, I look good.
- 11:54Speaker 1: And it was just watch for five minutes. I ended
- 11:57Speaker 1: up watching the whole two hours. I couldn't stop it.
- 12:00Speaker 1: It's got all kinds of rare footage, all kinds of stuff.
- 12:03Speaker 1: You'll love it. So it's on Fox Nation now. The
- 12:08Speaker 1: other thing is there's too many of these documentaries, the
- 12:11Speaker 1: Chevy Chase documentary. Everybody's talking about the Chevy Chase doc
- 12:16Speaker 1: I like Chevy Chase, but do you really want to
- 12:18Speaker 1: spend two hours studying this guy's life. I mean, I'd
- 12:20Speaker 1: like to watch a movie of his or something like that,
- 12:23Speaker 1: or an old Saturday Night live clip, but do you
- 12:25Speaker 1: really need to know everything about this guy? And there's
- 12:27Speaker 1: nothing that interesting. The part everybody's talking about is how
- 12:31Speaker 1: how Baddy could be. He yelled at the director. She
- 12:34Speaker 1: was a woman, and he said something about you're not
- 12:36Speaker 1: que he yelled at her. I hate to break it
- 12:40Speaker 1: to you, this goes on all the time in movies,
- 12:42Speaker 1: in broadcasting, in television. All of your favorite stars, even
- 12:46Speaker 1: the nicest people in the world, who are really nice
- 12:48Speaker 1: people to work with, every so often something goes wrong
- 12:51Speaker 1: and they start yelling at somebody. Is he in the
- 12:54Speaker 1: control room? You've been doing this a long time. You've
- 12:56Speaker 1: had a host yell at you, right, it happens. There's
- 13:00Speaker 1: some guys that aren't so nice, you know, Like I
- 13:02Speaker 1: miss It was just cursing and screaming and yelling every break,
- 13:06Speaker 1: every time there was a commercial you'd yell at everybody.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I mean, just always yelling. Bob Grant could be a
- 13:13Speaker 1: pain in the neck to be around. I'm trying to
- 13:17Speaker 1: think I'm editing myself. But even the really nice guys,
- 13:25Speaker 1: the nicest people in broadcasting, they're the finest people you
- 13:28Speaker 1: could ever know. They're nice to everybody, they're generous, warm.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Once in a while, something goes wrong on a show
- 13:34Speaker 1: and they'll start yelling at somebody. It happens in everybody, everybody.
- 13:39Speaker 1: It happens in every TV studio, in the nicest house,
- 13:42Speaker 1: but something goes wrong. Sometimes you know, you're sitting there
- 13:45Speaker 1: in the green room and all of a sudden you
- 13:46Speaker 1: hear some yelling something when somebody screwed up something. Those
- 13:49Speaker 1: that's yelling. It goes out all the time. So but
- 13:53Speaker 1: they make it. They make things up in these documentaries
- 13:57Speaker 1: that aren't that important. They build them up, and some
- 13:59Speaker 1: of them because if they're not that interesting, you've got
- 14:02Speaker 1: to make up some stuff like this to make it
- 14:05Speaker 1: more interesting. Hey, Jimmy Kimmel is back, But not really,
- 14:11Speaker 1: not really. They know the show stinks, they know nobody's
- 14:14Speaker 1: watching it. The network wants to get rid of them.
- 14:16Speaker 1: They just renewed it for one year, which is the
- 14:18Speaker 1: biggest insult in the world. Standard renewal, standard new contract
- 14:22Speaker 1: is five years. You get a five year contract. Now,
- 14:26Speaker 1: there's some people, some hosts that don't like five year
- 14:29Speaker 1: contracts because it favors the company. They lock in for
- 14:32Speaker 1: five years at a certain price. So some people like
- 14:35Speaker 1: three year contracts that we can keep getting more rass.
- 14:37Speaker 1: But there's no such thing as a If you get
- 14:40Speaker 1: a one year extension means they have no faith in
- 14:43Speaker 1: you at all, and it most likely means they're going
- 14:45Speaker 1: to get rid of you, because if it's only a
- 14:47Speaker 1: one year extension, they don't mind paying that off. So
- 14:50Speaker 1: that was the biggest insult to Kimmel. And now that
- 14:53Speaker 1: he's back, they're cutting back on stuff like you know
- 14:56Speaker 1: they have a musical act every night, Well they're now
- 14:59Speaker 1: cutting down to like one night a week because it's
- 15:02Speaker 1: expensive to do the musical act. It costs more money
- 15:05Speaker 1: production wise than everything. And prediction they'll cut back on
- 15:10Speaker 1: live shows. They've already done that with the Tonight Show, Colbert.
- 15:13Speaker 1: You know, they're no longer five nights a week. They
- 15:15Speaker 1: do like four shows a week and run a rerun
- 15:18Speaker 1: on the fifth night, so expect that with Kim Well,
- 15:22Speaker 1: expect these shows to go to three nights a week
- 15:24Speaker 1: and two reruns per week. Hey, we'll take some calls next.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 15:32Speaker 1: the number. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 15:36Speaker 1: ten is the number. Hey, Wegman's getting a lot of flak.
- 15:40Speaker 1: They've announced it in New York. They're collecting biometric data.
- 15:45Speaker 1: You know, when you walk in the store, they're scanning
- 15:47Speaker 1: your face, they're scanning your eyeballs. I guess a lot
- 15:50Speaker 1: of stories do this, but for some reason in New York,
- 15:53Speaker 1: Wegmans is announced they're saving this data and a lot
- 15:58Speaker 1: of people aren't going to shop there right now. I'm
- 16:00Speaker 1: not chopping there anymore because I don't know. Let's say
- 16:03Speaker 1: at Wegman's they had a picture of your face and
- 16:05Speaker 1: your eyeballs. How damaging is this? What would you even
- 16:07Speaker 1: be worried about? The people that I'm never going in
- 16:10Speaker 1: there again are the same people that put their face
- 16:12Speaker 1: in their eyeballs up on Instagram ten times a day.
- 16:15Speaker 1: But nobody can figure out why they're doing it. They
- 16:19Speaker 1: said it's a security thing to identify any possible threats.
- 16:23Speaker 1: To I don't even know what that means, and that
- 16:26Speaker 1: would apply to every business and every store in New York.
- 16:29Speaker 1: But they don't need to do it. They haven't reversed
- 16:31Speaker 1: it yet. They're getting a lot of flack. I guess
- 16:33Speaker 1: they're waiting to see how much of a drop in
- 16:35Speaker 1: traffic they get as a result, and why just Manhattan.
- 16:39Speaker 1: It's a strange thing, but I think deep time, you're
- 16:44Speaker 1: going to turn out they're collecting this data because it's
- 16:47Speaker 1: going to be valuable commercially somewhere in the future. You know,
- 16:52Speaker 1: right now, every business been collecting your email, your cell
- 16:55Speaker 1: phone number. That way they can bobarde you with ads
- 16:58Speaker 1: or something. This facial record ignition stuff. Somewhere in the future,
- 17:01Speaker 1: it's going to be used for marketing or spam or
- 17:04Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next
- 17:06Speaker 1: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the
- 17:09Speaker 1: nin
