- 0:00Hello, everybody, Welcome to Honey Badger Radio. My name is Brian with
- 0:03Alison and this is why I just changed it to like a dating show,
- 0:09you think, yeah, because it's about a man admiring a woman, essentially
- 0:16like cursing the world to a fiery death because of it, I guess.
- 0:21I mean, so, yeah, well, in this case, the woman
- 0:25didn't have a problem with it, but no, but there were other women
- 0:29that did have a problem. There were other women have a problem with it.
- 0:33There was definitely had a problem with them entertaining. Yeah. Yeah,
- 0:38oh I didn't really look at them, but yeah, so I going in
- 0:45with fresh eyes here. But it is kind of interesting because I think there's
- 0:51something related that I was experiencing on Twitter the last couple of days related to
- 0:59this, and and a trend that I've kind of been seeing with you know,
- 1:06this sort of like red pill and men's issues and feminists and trad cons
- 1:14and they're all converging and like wrestling about all of this. And I think
- 1:23it's interesting because this is a good example of like what I think the elephant
- 1:30in this case kind of literally the elephant in the room is, but well,
- 1:36what is the thing that they're all converging on. Okay, well let
- 1:38me this might be a little this might be a little convoluted. Okay.
- 1:42So I was looking through some old posts that I had on Facebook, you
- 1:48have the Facebook memories, and there was one about it was about robot girlfriends
- 1:57and the joke. It was kind of done as a joke by Jennifer Daw.
- 2:02You know Jennifer Daw, the game developer that's very She was very supportive
- 2:07of us and still is. And she let me see if I can find
- 2:13the original post because this turned to a massive thread. Yeah. So it
- 2:15was about sex robots and she made this old post, like in twenty eighteen,
- 2:22so this is old. And she said, the year is twenty thirty.
- 2:24Most men have sexpots women in desperation yell, they don't love you like
- 2:30a real human being. Men will whisper back, neither do you. And
- 2:36you know this is twenty eighteen. It's a while ago. And I think
- 2:38that since then, at least on the Internet space, things appear to have
- 2:45gotten more dire. And I shared it and I said my post and my
- 2:51tweet with the image, I said, I am against sex robots and artificial
- 2:54wounds, but women aren't exactly stepping up to change course. So and I
- 3:00just put that out there as like a thing of to consider right now.
- 3:05I know that this isn't really a show about you know, sex robots and
- 3:08artificial wombs, but it is. I think the only reason why we're even
- 3:14tabling a discussion about sex robots and artificial wombs is because of the the the
- 3:22chasm essentially between men and women, and that there are men that are like,
- 3:27well, I'm just gonna look for you know, I'm gonna look for
- 3:30stuff elsewhere, and women, while they don't want them, they also don't
- 3:35want them to go and seek, you know, like some kind of external
- 3:38solution to their problem. And I could see that because the comments under this
- 3:44was there was a lot of rage from women. They were so angry about
- 3:49this, like yeah, but it starts off with this way. It starts
- 3:54off as I don't really care about this, but it's like, yes you
- 3:58do. You're commenting, well, you can die alone. I'm like,
- 4:02well, actually I'm married, so it's this isn't really about me, you
- 4:05know. So what were you gonna say? Hmmm, Well, I was
- 4:10just gonna say, yeah, women can say or men need to learn to
- 4:15live without women but not like that. Yeah, essentially, well that you
- 4:23know, it's the same, it's the same issue it usually is. It's
- 4:26like, you know, Mike, how exists women most affected and it's like,
- 4:30but they literally are avoiding you, and they're like, well they can't
- 4:32do that, not on their terms basically all right. So what was interesting
- 4:38to me about this article is, as you know, Brian, as you
- 4:44know, I have gotten into it with I think multiple feminist dating coaches now
- 4:51about how men aren't approaching women. Right, So men are not approaching or
- 4:58more and more each year less men are approaching women, until it will only
- 5:02be the men who have severe mental the no focks to give because they're sociopaths,
- 5:13and the men with mental illnesses that probably think they're talking to an animated
- 5:17version of the Mona Lisa every time they come up to a woman and the
- 5:21and they're and they're they're thinking, do you do you have decret messages about
- 5:27the meravingians to give me? You know, like the men like that,
- 5:30that'll be it. The absolute certified crazies and the sociopaths, that's that's gonna
- 5:35be the future. Those are the only men who are going to approach women
- 5:38in like ten years because it keeps going down each year. Yeah, that's
- 5:41why everybody's getting hysterical about this. And I approach these these are this one
- 5:47dating site, alex Site, who is on Chris Williamson's channel and basically said,
- 5:54well, if men, I did a survey that he hasn't given me
- 6:00the actual data or what this is based on, or any methodology, so
- 6:04I assume that this is basically a Twitter survey that he put forth. I
- 6:09did a survey online, and I found that the men who approach women in
- 6:15public, like thirteen percent of them end up in a semi term relationship,
- 6:24shall we say. I didn't hear any alter, any alter talk in this,
- 6:29so a semi term relationship. And also I found that those men who
- 6:34approach who still approach women are less risk adverse, which considering that there's an
- 6:41entire body institution philosophy, I don't even want to call it a philosophy.
- 6:46There's an entire ideology that's trying to increase the risks from men approaching women.
- 6:50You would imagine that the more risk adverse men will be the first to stop
- 6:56taking those risks. You know, the guys who just want a quiet life.
- 7:00They want to putter away at, you know, building a family,
- 7:02having a home and taking care of their own You know, those guys,
- 7:06they're they're probably the first to opt out. Those are the ones you want
- 7:11to be opting in, but they're the first to opt out. I don't
- 7:14see how this is groundbreaking. And also fundamentally, what he's saying is if
- 7:19men change either challenge a significant issue which is a psychological issue, which is
- 7:26an anxiety disorder, or they change their personalities and then everything will be fine.
- 7:31So if men change their personalities to be more like dark triad and less
- 7:35risk adverse, we'll all be fine. I'm like, no, we'll not.
- 7:40But regardless, he put it on men, and I said, what
- 7:44about the people we keep telling men that approaching women is a terrible experience for
- 7:49them and to stop. He had absolutely nothing to say to that. Yeah,
- 7:56but what do you expect when you tell men that approaching women harms them
- 8:03and that only a creep does it, or a horrible person or somebody who's
- 8:07going to be going to going to jail, No pass go. What do
- 8:11you think that men are going to do? The guys who are pro socially
- 8:15are gonna be like, you know, I don't want to put women through
- 8:16some horrible experience. I'll just abstain. Yeah, you know, and that
- 8:22it will. Basically, we have a thesis as a society have decided to
- 8:28opt out of pro social men engaging in any kind of mating activity. I'm
- 8:33sure that will go well for us in the future. But anyway, my
- 8:35point is that here we have again because I suspect I have not read this
- 8:39whole thing, but I suspect that the thesis and correct me if I'm wrong,
- 8:45and we will. You know, if we get into the article and
- 8:46I'm wrong, I'll eat my hat, your hat that you gave me.
- 8:50I suspect the fact that this woman was okay with this guy admiring her,
- 8:58The New York Post is going to frame that as a low bar. In
- 9:01other words, men should not look at women, They should not give any
- 9:07indication that women are in in their midst as women, And the low bar
- 9:15is just that he she's okay with him, just looking and not you know,
- 9:18coming over and apparently I don't know, having a feel or or god
- 9:22forbid, saying hello. That's my thesis. Yeah, but we'll see.
- 9:28Well, it could be the case. But the I guess, like real
- 9:33quick about the thing that I'm dealing with on Twitter. It's essentially like the
- 9:41the red pill guys that are in there, you know, that are sort
- 9:45of like on our you know, in like the MiG tau and the in
- 9:48cels and stuff that follow me. And I'm saying self described, not using
- 9:52it as a slur. I'm saying this is, you know, they follow
- 9:54me because they know that I talk about the stuff they care about. They're
- 9:58all like, you know, all for the artificial wombs and the and the
- 10:05you know, artificial girlfriends basically, and and I get it because of the
- 10:09hostility they are getting, you know, from from feminists and women I don't
- 10:15even maybe not even feminists, just women on Twitter that are angry that they
- 10:18would even entertain an alternative. And they're basically showing why these men are going
- 10:24this way because they're they're acting like this. And then you get some I
- 10:28mean, it wasn't really in my threat, but I've seen online, you
- 10:31know, like I we have a mutual acquaintance that's on Twitter. It's always
- 10:39fighting with you. I'm not gonna name names, but this person is very
- 10:43very against you know, the the artificial wombs and the the surrogacy stuff,
- 10:50and it's going to bring back the Handmaid's Tale and all that, And I'm
- 10:52like, well, you know, if you if you don't want that future,
- 10:58and I don't. I think it's about idea simply because I don't think
- 11:01that technology is as good as people think it is. I don't think it's
- 11:05a real substitute for a human being. I think that the failure rates of
- 11:09things like freezing your sperm or eggs is very high. So I don't think
- 11:13it's worth it for when where you know, like because our population is going
- 11:18to collapse, when it's much easier to just be like, hey, ladies,
- 11:22get your shit together, like that's all you gotta do. I mean,
- 11:26maybe that's harder than you know, like trying to just like get the
- 11:30technology to catch up. But blaming men isn't going to change anything, you
- 11:35know. What this is Like the thing that I'm saying is that, like
- 11:37you can say, oh, men and women are both contributing to this problem.
- 11:41Yeah, sure, but that the men would would just stop tomorrow if
- 11:46like shit wasn't impossible for them, they would stop tomorrow. But you know,
- 11:50women are the ones upholding this, so like, yeah, I could,
- 11:54I could, I could. I guess, point a finger at both
- 11:56sides. It's not going to do anything. You know, women have to
- 12:01get their ship together. It's all it is to me. It's and then
- 12:05we won't need because like if you do artificial wombs and fucking sex robots,
- 12:11first of all, most of these men don't want sex. They want a
- 12:16companion. It's like obvious. Even even when men say that, you think
- 12:20turd flinging monkey is really happy with his with his doll, I doubt it.
- 12:26I doubt it because that's not a person. He's not having conversations with
- 12:30them. He's not like talking about his plans or dreams with them. It's
- 12:33just a doll that he like puts his dick inside of sometimes. And it's
- 12:39not a substitute. So that's not a solution. That's gonna that's gonna be
- 12:43the end of all of us, you know. You know, Pearl's first
- 12:48paneled interview on the Audacity Network went up today and Karen was on there,
- 12:54and it was Karen and it was recorded a couple of weeks ago, like
- 12:58yours is gonna be up now week. She's like uploading these recorded has Yeah,
- 13:03yeah, I heard, I saw that. Okay, okay, So,
- 13:07and Karen was right. She was saying, look, you know,
- 13:09we're gonna lose everything, like it's none of this, none of these advances
- 13:13and technology are gonna change anything. I'm sorry, guys, I know you're
- 13:16looking forward to roll about women, but it's just not gonna fix your problem.
- 13:20It's not and the technology is not there. Plus it's gonna be really
- 13:22fucking expensive, like very few people are gonna have access. Why would you
- 13:26live like that? Like you shouldn't have to do that. So I think
- 13:30that it's better that we try to address this. But first we have to
- 13:35point out the problem. And this article is exactly the problem. So now
- 13:43you'll see I mean I haven't read it all, but I know the gist
- 13:46of the story and you'll see. So anyway, this is from the New
- 13:50York Post. You're gonna do anything thing, any things before I get into
- 13:54the thing, Oh yeah, yeah, I just okay. So we I
- 13:56did open up the fundraiser early in the hopes that we might be able to
- 14:00get that done earlier in the month. So it's aid Feedbadger, dot com
- 14:03slash support. Please help us out if you are able to very much appreciate
- 14:07it if you can. And if you want to send us a message,
- 14:11feed the Badger dot com slash just the tip that if you send you send
- 14:16your message through there. You get the full benefit of avoiding YouTube comment enhancement
- 14:22system, and we get the full benefit of whatever funds you send us our
- 14:26way. So it's a win win win, Well maybe not for the YouTube,
- 14:30but with the Badger win win win win win. Okay, feed the
- 14:35Badger dot com slash just the tip. All right, By the way,
- 14:39what's up, gang, give us some emojis? All right? Yeah,
- 14:43send us those those messages so we know what we're not crying into the void.
- 14:46Yeah I have. There were some from yesterday, but I don't know
- 14:48if Hannah read them. She didn't put it done next to it, so
- 14:52I'm not sure, but I think I'll just pass and see if if if
- 14:58you were at yesterday's show the talk you and you put something through. I
- 15:01see Richard Beierre put something through yesterday. Let me know if you need me
- 15:05to read that out, because I will. I don't know if Hannah did
- 15:07it and just forgot to tell us. So anyway, let's get to the
- 15:11article. All right. Response to video of men admiring women reveals how low
- 15:18standards are for some. So this is the New York Post, but it's
- 15:20written by a woman named Mary Madigan. She normally writes for news dot com
- 15:26dot AU. So I don't think because the New York Post is not really
- 15:31a ultrabias. It's not like the Guardian, you know, So this seems
- 15:35a little weird for them. They're normally like pretty moderate on stuff. But
- 15:41I guess when it comes to women, it doesn't matter. Okay. A
- 15:45man staring at a beautiful woman and not harassing her is apparently caused for praise.
- 15:50In twenty twenty three, a video circulated on x formally Twitter reveals just
- 15:56how low the standards are for men's behavior and the wild things they still get
- 16:00compliments on. So I have the video here. This is not it,
- 16:07though, I may have to refresh this page because sometimes, you know,
- 16:08they'll put put videos up and then they'll like have them scroll. Yeah,
- 16:14this is the video here. Oh shit, hello, this is the video
- 16:17here. So there is a woman, this woman here, she's on TikTok
- 16:22millions of followers, and she put up a video of herself and you guess
- 16:26why. I'm just you know, I mean, just like look just you
- 16:30know, I know, can't judge a book by its cover. It could
- 16:33be deep, like, you know, philosophical content, comparable to Marcus Aurelius.
- 16:40It could be that she's going to give us a dissertation on uh,
- 16:45you know, the the Namechian ethics or something, you know. But let's
- 16:52just watch the video and you'll see this is the This is like the video
- 16:56that they put out so and you see there's a man in the background and
- 17:03somebody this is like put up by the person who put the article out.
- 17:07What a true gentleman you have? This man here apparently could not help himself,
- 17:11could not help himself. What a true gentleman. Are you sure he's
- 17:19not wondering if that's body paint, well, it's he's probably got to do
- 17:26a double take. But you shouldn't be doing that as a man. You
- 17:30shouldn't even be looking at women, no matter what they're wearing. Okay,
- 17:34it's not an invitation, as Dave Chapelle says, just because I'm dressed this
- 17:40way. So, but just because he's making these motions and his eyes are
- 17:47looking that way, aren't we making assumptions about his intent. Well, maybe
- 17:52the woman who wrote this article is a telepath and she knows exactly what he
- 17:56was thinking, because honestly, like, okay, let's see let's see it
- 17:59again. Let's see it again. All right, we'll go back. Let's
- 18:02see here she is. He's smoking a cigarette. He looks like he's in
- 18:12pain somehow. Do you see that? Well, yeah, because he probably
- 18:18thinks I don't have a chance. I feel that feel. I mean,
- 18:25I don't know if guys fellas, if you're in the chat, I mean,
- 18:27do you understand that that body language? What does it mean? As
- 18:30a man? Okay, so the caption reads a cringey video showing a man
- 18:34leering at TikToker Barbara gambait gambatase gambatisas but through a window. So she's like,
- 18:45basically TikTok video, all right, And you didn't squeeze yourself into that
- 18:53skin tight outfit not to show off your ass. You're showing off your ass.
- 18:59You So it's it's it's not a problem. Acid pants, Alison,
- 19:06No, because they're very uncomfortable. They would not fit my lifestyle. I
- 19:14have too much moving to do, too much, too much attempting not to
- 19:18face plant on an icy sidewalk to restrict my range of motion as like that.
- 19:26I mean, I have to all times to be ready to agilely like
- 19:29do a shoulder roll in order to preserve my spine. But so no,
- 19:33I don't wear skin tight no ossage case things on my ass, you know
- 19:41what. And I honestly I don't really you know. I mean, she's
- 19:45got a very nice body, so she can you can understand why she wants
- 19:48to show it off. God blessed her. But she's showing it off and
- 19:53all he's doing is like and honestly, I know you're like your interpretation is,
- 20:00well, I don't have a chance with that. Well, it could
- 20:04just be he could just be in awe, like yeah, he could be
- 20:07in awe of just wow, the look at the my friends were here.
- 20:12He just had the cigarette he used to get her ass into that case thing,
- 20:18you know, or or or or like I originally said, he could
- 20:21be wondering is that body paint is? Are there is there? Is?
- 20:25There is there a troop of mimes. All the police is not called the
- 20:30police before have the French come to town? You know? Is the circus
- 20:37at selat in the city. Well, it's bear in mind. This woman,
- 20:41I don't think is is the woman that's videotaping herself, is not the
- 20:47one that is crying victim. So I think that she the women are crying
- 20:52victim on her. Other women are doing it on her. Behalf right.
- 20:56So we'll watch the rest of the clip and I'll read the article. But
- 20:59my my is is that And I've talked about this already. Women on social
- 21:03media, they they want to show if they have a body worth showing off,
- 21:07they want to show it off, and they do at every opportunity,
- 21:11and they'll go as as far as they can to show as much as they
- 21:17can without breaking you know, like the rules of whatever the website is they
- 21:22I mean, you you saw the thing about twitch, right, there's better
- 21:26to be looked at. That's why they do this. Yeah, they want
- 21:29to be looking at this, right, They're doing it for the economy.
- 21:32You don't make a TikTok pay or whatever post your ass in that and you
- 21:38go you turn around and say, oh, but I don't want to be
- 21:41you're doing it too good. She is, and I'm sure that she knows
- 21:45that, you know, I'm sure that she knows. I know this could
- 21:51be in this article. I think it's something that somebody in the chat says
- 21:56that they think it's stage, but I don't think it is. Like if
- 21:59a woman looks like that and she goes out in public and starts videotaping,
- 22:02the dudes will notice, Like there's no way that they needed to hire a
- 22:06guy to come out here and react like that. Like guys are going to
- 22:10notice. You don't have to do it. It's like, I don't think
- 22:12it's fake. I don't think it's fake. It doesn't Like again, if
- 22:15you look like that and you go out in public, guys will stare.
- 22:18They will because that's just the way men are. So it doesn't it doesn't.
- 22:22It doesn't require you to stage anything. He's not a crisis actor.
- 22:26He's not in crisis. All right, Well let's play the rest of the
- 22:30video. So he's they're they're pointing him out, is bizarrely being applauded because
- 22:40of the supposed restraint the man shows by choosing not to harass her and so
- 22:45and and so. There's people on X saying this is Sassington MD perfect,
- 22:51he looked, he admired, he stole one more glance or look, then
- 22:55simply went about his business. That's how you look at a beautiful person.
- 22:59You think that's fair. He didn't approach her, he didn't talk to her.
- 23:03He just looked. You think that's an unfair Yes, well, let
- 23:08me let's relat it again. I can. Let's finish the whole thing and
- 23:11look at it. All right, all right, I'm just reading the tweets
- 23:14that were the response. Okay, this is news, but for some reason
- 23:18it was viral. CD Belinda says he just looked at her with admiration without
- 23:22disturbing or harassing her. Sadly, this is apparently cause for praise in twenty
- 23:30twenty three. So the woman who wrote this, her name is Mary Madigan.
- 23:36She's the one that's that's not that's not her. I don't know who
- 23:38that is. She's the one that's claiming that essentially a man who leers at
- 23:45a woman but does not approach her, and if he is, if there
- 23:49is some recognition of that, she doesn't think that that's worthy of praise.
- 23:55Now I am inclined to agree, but I also don't think it's any of
- 24:02her business. So I don't know, no, But the thing is that
- 24:07what they're implying, is that I don't know, so many men are out
- 24:11there like yeah, monkeying onto women or and all of this other crap,
- 24:17or or approaching. But here's the thing. This wasn't that whole TikTok trend
- 24:22even if he approached her, I don't Yeah, what's wrong with that?
- 24:26Yeah? Exactly? Is that like some sort of horrendous thing? And this
- 24:30goes back to datesite guy. This, This is what I mean. Like,
- 24:34yes, not approaching, just looking at a woman should also be cause
- 24:40for shame. So when when when datesite says, why aren't men approaching?
- 24:45Well, men can't even look, they can't even notice something who's in.
- 24:49It's not like he was out there going I'm gonna stare at women today.
- 24:52He was out there doing god knows what and a woman happened to walk into
- 24:56his view. How what was he supposed to to do? Put out his
- 25:00eyes? What? Okay? So let's could you see the name? Yeah?
- 25:10Uh here news dot com AU Times, yep, I will search her,
- 25:19search for her. Okay, so it comes right up. Mary.
- 25:29Sorry, I don't mean to laugh, but there she is. So Mary
- 25:34began her career working for ex Vogue editor and chief Kirsty Clements, and has
- 25:41since done everything from pr tutoring at the University of Notre Dame. She has
- 25:45even had a brief stint as a World's Worst Personal assistant. What Mary is
- 25:51most passionate about pop culture, fashion and whatever is making women mad? She's
- 25:59a rage far and she looks like she would get a bonus seat at Spirit
- 26:07Airlines. Let's see. Yeah, so that's the person who wrote it.
- 26:15And what are here? Are some I guess some of her articles, why
- 26:19is photo is making people feel old picks reveal that as what ausy man really
- 26:25like? Popular creators reveal how her cellulite and soft body has helped her.
- 26:30Okay, let's uh, you know what, let's get back to thee.
- 26:34This seems pretty standard, pretty standard man, thirsty, insecure woman, all
- 26:42right. And I don't mean that as like a I don't mean that like
- 26:45a pick me thing. It's just an it's like that. Do you remember
- 26:48the do you remember the gay man from Melbourne magazine? Yeah, who's like,
- 26:56I totally don't I totally don't desire a firm a firm pair of pecks
- 27:04over a six pack. I don't want any of That's not something I want.
- 27:07I don't want nice broad shoulders and a muscular masculine I talk. I
- 27:12don't dream about that. Why well, I don't. I don't wake up
- 27:15in the night shivering with the thought of that man's hands all over my body,
- 27:21a cold sweat that I don't. And it's like you, the queen
- 27:26does protests too much, shall we say? And I think that this is
- 27:30just this is thirsty. She's either thirsty for attention or thirsty for a guy.
- 27:37And uh yeah, And instead of just acknowledging her failure, well,
- 27:45who knows, Maybe she's married. All right, let's go, let's read
- 27:49this Mary Madigan. Somehow I doubt marry Madigan. That's what I'm talking about,
- 27:56Okay. A video circulating on x formally Twitter reveals just how low the
- 28:00standards are for men's behavior and the wild things they still get compliments on.
- 28:04The clip was originally posted by influencer Barbara Gambaitasa Gambasa Gambatasa, that's it,
- 28:12who has a massed over three million followers on TikTok, and was then reposted
- 28:17on X. I wonder why she has so many followers? Who could have
- 28:19who knows? The video was meant to be about her showing off her graduation
- 28:26outfit. She chose a gorgeous, chic white matching number, but it quickly
- 28:30became about the man in the background of her video who stole the show.
- 28:34She was just showing off a cute outfit, Alison, nothing else to see
- 28:37here? What are you looking at? What are you looking at? What
- 28:41are you looking at? You pervs? I hate that. I hate that.
- 28:48It's so it's so obvious what's going on. Yes, there are women
- 28:52who he could have been gay. He could have been like, you're not
- 28:55a winter Yeah, maybe he could have said, though pinstripes are so out.
- 29:00I mean, it's possible. I don't know, but somehow I die.
- 29:03I think he was just like interpreting. We're all interpreting this guy.
- 29:07Yeah, well it's true. It's true, all right, Like and and
- 29:15then the other thing is that what I mean by this is okay. There.
- 29:19There's there's a lot of possibilities for why this woman wrote this. She
- 29:25genuinely thinks that men shouldn't look at women at all, even when women are
- 29:33wearing something that you have to squint to see if it's not body paint.
- 29:37In other words, there's no way that this woman doesn't want to be looked
- 29:41at. Here. There's no way she wore this in order to be inconspicuous,
- 29:47in order to just blend into the crowd, in order for nobody to
- 29:51notice her existence. No, no way. She know she did that because
- 29:55she wanted to be looked at, and she knows she wanted to be looked
- 29:57at, which is why she's okay with being looked at. But then we
- 30:00have Mary here, who's just I mean, it's like the those those pictures,
- 30:06those cartoons where there's two people getting it on and and it says,
- 30:11this is consent. But did but did you ask Jesus for his consent to
- 30:18your premarital sex capades? You know that? Like? Did come on,
- 30:22Barbara, did you ask Mary for for her consent before you exposed your ass
- 30:29in such a way that you would get appreciative looks from men? I mean,
- 30:33Mary does is pretty freaking upset about this. She's pretty now. Is
- 30:37it because she's so worried about Barbara? Or is it because Mary looks at
- 30:44Barbara's incredible ass and says, my ass isn't that incredible? I would never
- 30:48get that attention by showing it? I don't think she deserves it either,
- 30:55yeap? So is this is this genuine concern? Mary? Are you genuinely
- 31:00concerned about Barbara and women in general? Or are you jealous? Yeah?
- 31:10Okay? Or something about men interacting with women that gets on her skin could
- 31:17also be jealousy, I doubt entirely, could be jealous that she's not doing
- 31:22it and he is doing it. He's close enough to notice. I don't
- 31:26know. He says he is smoking a cigarette, admiring the woman, bluntly
- 31:33staring, and at one point he touches his forehead as his eyes seem to
- 31:37linger on the woman that is barely nom to linger on the woman. You
- 31:42know who this woman is? Yeah, admiring Barbara? Say her name,
- 31:48Mary, say her name. Say the name of the woman who is getting
- 31:55admired. Yes, that's just weird, the way she's just switching to a
- 32:00woman. If a woman goes out in public and wears an outfit that she
- 32:04thinks flatter, is flattering, and men do everything in their power to avoid
- 32:08looking, will that woman then feel unattractive? Probably? Like what kind of
- 32:15climate do you create? Because let's face it, like, if a woman
- 32:21wants and men will do this in their own way too, so not even
- 32:23making this exclusive. But if a woman wants to launt you know what she
- 32:30has, and you see it, like you go to a party, you
- 32:32go to the beach, you go, you know where it might be appropriate,
- 32:37you'll see that if men are like trained or conditioned to basically make allowing
- 32:46these women to be to know that they're being looked at, they if they
- 32:52do everything in their power to avoid it, or they just avoid women period,
- 32:54they just don't go where to beaches anymore. They don't go wherever there
- 32:59might be women, you know, like wearing I don't know little what's that
- 33:05going to do? Like are those women going to? Like there? There
- 33:07are there are meetups, right, singles singles meets Right, men don't show
- 33:13up. Women go to them and they're like where are the men? The
- 33:15men don't show up? Like there's been like a you know, a pattern
- 33:20of this where women are like, we're to do a singles meet up.
- 33:22We're going to meet up with a bunch of guys and pair off. And
- 33:24they go and there's like no men and it's like a bunch of women there
- 33:29and they're like what happened? Like, well, I don't know ladies,
- 33:31What have you done? What did you do? What kind of climate have
- 33:35you? Huh? This is something that's being noticed, is it? Yes?
- 33:40Wow? Crazy? Yeah, yes, they're noticing that fewer and fewer
- 33:46men are finding it. So they're actually noticing statistically this is the case,
- 33:52like in the last ten two years, two years, last two years,
- 33:57the number of men willing to approach women, actually the number of men willing
- 34:00to engage with women they don't know on any capacity. That means, hello,
- 34:06could you direct me to the bathroom? They don't want They won't talk
- 34:08to a woman for that, okay, they won't engage with women at all
- 34:14in any capacity, even professional and completely without any interest in anything sexual happening.
- 34:21The number of men has increased by ten percent. Yeah apparently so.
- 34:27I mean, I would imagine that the number of men who are actually willing
- 34:30to approach a woman for any kind of a romantic interaction or a potential romantic
- 34:37interaction is even higher. So I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised that they're
- 34:42finding this. It's just that you would think that this wouldn't be necessarily hitting
- 34:46singles meetups just yet. You know, you'd imagine that men would be still
- 34:51willing to go to them, those men who are still looking, you know,
- 34:54willing to go to them to actually meet a woman. All right,
- 35:00well, I mean they're not. They're not going to these meats. It's
- 35:04like, well, I've seen I have to find it. But I saw
- 35:08a couple of things about it. I think it was. It might have
- 35:10been on Twitter, but it might have been somewhere else where. Women are
- 35:14like taking pictures with other women that they see at these things and they're like,
- 35:17yeah, there's no guys here. It's like h or maybe there are
- 35:24very few and maybe they don't like the selection and so they're just not guys,
- 35:29Like oh, there's none, and there's like a bunch of guys,
- 35:30but they're mid so they're like, ah, those aren't guys. That's just
- 35:34background decoration. Okay, But anyway, the video was meant Okay, I
- 35:38already read that part this. The clip was taken from the influence of social
- 35:43media and we shared on x where a user praised the man and called it
- 35:45perfect because he only looked at the woman instead of approaching her. And here's
- 35:50the original video. It's playing in the background no sound, so you can
- 35:53see. Yeah, I was basically it I guess, I mean this is
- 36:00her TikTok. I mean mute significant social proof for her. Well yeah,
- 36:09social proof exactly. Jesus good. What No, it's just so freaking tight,
- 36:16like yeah, well again, I mean, they know what they're doing.
- 36:22This is the thing that why why I get annoyed with this, because
- 36:25it's like, we know these women know what they're doing, and it's okay,
- 36:30like it's okay, you know, and so anyway, Maria goes on,
- 36:35Yes, that is somehow worth some praise. Perfect, he looked,
- 36:38he admired, he stole one more look, and then simply went about his
- 36:40business. That's how you look at a beautiful person. The post read.
- 36:45That post was a mass over twenty seven million views, and the comment section
- 36:47is filled with people gushing over the anonymous man for not approaching the woman and
- 36:52making a nuisance of himself. It is a cesspit of a man being congratulated
- 36:57for doing less than the bare minimum, revealing a petty, stark reality,
- 37:01pretty stark reality. Okay, but where did the TikTok trend where we're all
- 37:07condemning men for doing exactly the same thing are even less in? Uh in,
- 37:12don't you remember all those videos where the these women would wear an outfit
- 37:16like that with their how does that woman call it? Oh yeah, right
- 37:22at the gym. You're talking about the gym, the gym thirst trap videos
- 37:25where God and like, they'll they'll go there intentionally to bank guys in a
- 37:30looking and then when they do, they make videos and try to go viral,
- 37:34and and then you need Joey Swoll to come out there and say,
- 37:37look, this is not this is not productive behavior at a gym. But
- 37:40these women, that's what I'm saying, like to break the rules. They
- 37:44bend the rules, they don't obey like the social mores, They do what
- 37:49they want and then they dare you to call them out. That's what it
- 37:52is. That's why it bothers me. But my point is that how like
- 37:55what was it like a couple of months ago, we're all about how men
- 37:59just looking is horrible creep behavior? Like don't you remember those those TikTok And
- 38:05I remember them because I was watching them and I'm like, what are these
- 38:07guys doing? I mean, some of them aren't even looking as long as
- 38:10he did, not even taking a second glance. One of them looked like
- 38:15he was looking over and being like, lady, you're using the machine wrong,
- 38:20and then looked back because he had this look of incredible, like maybe
- 38:24this is this is like you're saying, Oh, I'd like to approach,
- 38:29but I would never get anywhere. When I looked at it, it seemed
- 38:32more like he looked annoyed. I'm like, how, well, it depends
- 38:36on it depends on the context. But yeah, I think I think if
- 38:39I'm saying as uncharitable, uncharitable, but like if they find her attractive,
- 38:46their reaction is most likely wow. And yeah, that's basically it. But
- 38:52like there is underneath the wow, there is this like, well, she's
- 38:58definitely taken right or or whatever. Right, I'm I'm just gonna admire from
- 39:04afar or hurt the tailoring holy ship, Like the other thing is this thing?
- 39:08Is that is some serious tailoring. Yeah, the tailor should come out
- 39:15and take a bow. There they poured her into a mold. Yeah,
- 39:20it wouldn't be hilarious if he came up and said, excuse me, who's
- 39:22your tailor, and then and then you know, be like, oh that
- 39:24was amazing okay, and then left. Yeah that's an amazing outfit that you
- 39:29made. I mean, like, you know, this goes back to the
- 39:30dates like thing to see. I think it's in there here he is,
- 39:35He's right there in the background. Yeah, I'm kind of like I'm mousing,
- 39:39but you can't see my pointer. It's okay, You're probably right with
- 39:44interpreting his body language. It probably was checking her out. Fine, Like,
- 39:51but my point is, my overall point is Okay, just get like,
- 39:54how long ago were we complaining about men doing exactly this in gym's with
- 40:00fitness influencers with their their yoga pants where you could literally make out like the
- 40:07cleft of their genitals and they're shoving their asses and yeah, and they're shoving
- 40:14their asses up. Yeah. I'm like, looking at this industry has is
- 40:21not making those things for comfort. They made to enhance, conspicuous, to
- 40:27lift and separate. They got they got like physics engineers working on those things
- 40:36to maximize women's sexiness appeal. And they know that and they buy it for
- 40:40that purpose. It's not an exaggeration like this is a whole industry. Yes,
- 40:47And that's what I'm saying, Like you you are making a choice to
- 40:51put this clothing on. You are making a choice to deliver a message to
- 40:54people around you like this. Remember speaking of these videos, you remember the
- 41:00video of the woman. There was a video you may not have seen it.
- 41:02A woman from from the West. I don't know. I think maybe
- 41:06America, but I'm not sure. Could have been Canada. But she went
- 41:08to Japan and she went to a gym and she thought she had a cute
- 41:13outfit and the Japanese made her put on something more modest appropriate. Yeah,
- 41:19they were like, this is not appropriate for the gym. And she got
- 41:22pissed and she made a video about it. And I was like, huh,
- 41:25what do you mean, you're just wearing a cute house. It's not
- 41:30just Japanese women, it was Japanese men. There were men and women that
- 41:32were like, this isn't appropriate. You can't wear that here. She had
- 41:36a chain and put on a big shirt over the top and do her workout,
- 41:39and she was upset because she couldn't do the she couldn't be a thirst
- 41:43trap. Yeah, and honestly did did putting the shirt on effect your freaking
- 41:49workout if you're there to work out? No? But yeah, I actually
- 41:52she's like, see, she's there to be seen. I also I yet
- 41:57another bar the women like this is why the Japanese consider us all barbarians.
- 42:02Yeah, and and the fact that she gets pissed that she has to accommodate
- 42:07their culture when she's a guest in their country. That's astounding, Like okay,
- 42:13yeah, uh anyway, but this, uh, my overall point is
- 42:17not long ago. We were we were lambasting men just for this, right,
- 42:22just for looking. I'm fairly certain that was what. In fact,
- 42:27there there was one video that I saw, and I actually did a commentary
- 42:30on Honey Badger Radio about it, very brief commentary, where this woman was
- 42:35in yoga pants getting gas and she's like looking over her shoulder. Nobody,
- 42:40nobody, nobody is looking at her. Nobody is paying attention to her.
- 42:45Except one truck drives past. I wouldn't even say slowly because they're in a
- 42:50freaking gas station. They drove past at the usual rate of speed that people
- 42:55driving gas yeah, usual cruising speed, you know, go fast through gas
- 43:00station. And then they made an immediate left turn or an immediate right turn.
- 43:06And I'm thinking I'm going through this in my mind, and I'm like,
- 43:07there's no way they were looking at your ass, lady. You know
- 43:10why, because you cannot make an immediate right turn while oggling some woman's ass.
- 43:16You can't do it, and that's into traffic. I guarantee whoever was
- 43:21driving that truck was paying attention to the traffic. Right, you're taking an
- 43:24immediate right turn into traffic. You think you're watching some woman's ass while you're
- 43:29doing that, No, you're not. So there was no way this dude,
- 43:32if it was a dude, because we never got to see him,
- 43:36there's no way he was looking. And I could see the reflections in the
- 43:38actual window. There was no head there to be looking at her. Nobody
- 43:45was looking at her. All that happened is that in a in a gas
- 43:52station, somebody drove a truck through it slowly because they were in a gas
- 43:57station about to turn right into traffic. Yeah, and then she made this
- 44:00whole oh my god, I'm being og gold and that was considered that people
- 44:07were like, oh, oh, oh, you poor dear. How dare
- 44:09how dare men slow down in a gas station before they take an immediate rite
- 44:14into traffic? And this so it's like this, I don't see this as
- 44:19being any different than what was happening in all those other tic TACs. So
- 44:22what's what's the difference here, except that I think this woman comes from a
- 44:27culture that when which women are are not yet insane about being looked at when
- 44:31they wear some the equivalent of look at me sign all across their butt cheeks.
- 44:37Well, you know, I was gonna say, speaking of which,
- 44:39this woman here, the one with the TikTok, she's a Latina. I
- 44:44think, yes, that's what I'm saying. But I mean I think in
- 44:46like like Latino cultures, though it's women don't have the same I don't know
- 44:52if it's shame or like a weird controlling thing where it comes to like men
- 44:57looking at them like they know what they're doing and they're okay with it,
- 45:00and you know what I mean. Like Steve Bruley, he moved to I
- 45:05think it was Columbia, and he talked about how, you know, a
- 45:09lot more like I don't know, warm everyone is and sort of not necessarily
- 45:15like sexually open, but there was a lot less, you know, of
- 45:20this weird kind of like feminist puritan puritanism that was circulating around men and women,
- 45:27like people were more comfortable with each other. So I wonder about that,
- 45:34you know. Okay, So I got a super I got two super
- 45:37child's. Thanks guys. Richard Pierre gives us five dollars and says, she
- 45:42might not be a hoe, but she's wearing a hose uniform. That's a
- 45:46that's a Dave Chappelle joke. So just because I'm dressing this mate, And
- 45:52then Great Indoors gives us five dollars and says, if a man who's a
- 45:58three falls in love with a woman and no camera is around or record it,
- 46:02does it still make an offense? Yes, I just apparently, I'm
- 46:09just I guess we're not. We're off the whole kick of saying that if
- 46:15a man even takes a look to look annoyed at a woman, that he's
- 46:19he's crossing a line, crossing a line. I guess this is all designed
- 46:24to keep men and women from actually interacting with each other. But you know,
- 46:29let's blame men more. Let's blame men more. Let's make them step
- 46:32up. What additional wisdoms Mary has to afford us? Oh yeah, let's
- 46:37keep going. That was my very fancy way of saying, let's read further.
- 46:42Yeah, yeah, here's okay. So here's video shows a man and
- 46:45here's the man again, and and she was also showing like how she compares
- 46:50with her mother. So her video starts my mother and it looks someone obviously
- 46:53a little older, but kind of the same figure, you know. So
- 46:57yeah, good on you good jeans. Anyway, there are plenty of pos
- 47:00What was that? Can we go back up like her mother? Yeah,
- 47:05it's in the beginning of the video, like we go, oh yeah,
- 47:08let me oh shit, I go back, just refresh, yeah, refreshing.
- 47:15It seems to be starts but I think it starts here showing the mother.
- 47:19It might be in the other TikTok video, but no, okay,
- 47:22it's not here. It's it's here. That that's it right there, my
- 47:27mom, did you see it? Yes, those are some good genes there.
- 47:31Yeah, they're played again. Get out of here, let me alone.
- 47:36That's my mom. So yeah, when I pause it, it doesn't
- 47:39it doesn't show, but you see it. So her mother has it might
- 47:43be an older video of her mother, but yeah, it's basically like similar.
- 47:49That's what she's like obviously saying, you know, my mom and I
- 47:53are are are similar. But it's all but it comes down to like we
- 47:58have the same figure. So all right, anyway, it says There are
- 48:02plenty of comments to sift through. Highlights include someone saying that the man should
- 48:07be given respect for not harassing the woman, while another said it was a
- 48:10beautiful moment and an example of a man doing everything right. And she puts
- 48:14that in coo, she doesn't think it's actually right. I want to know
- 48:17what she's gonna say. But what was that she has a seething jealousy for
- 48:22this woman's ass? Yeah, I think so. You know that meme of
- 48:29the guy coming out from behind the tree, like it's anyway. One wrote
- 48:37that this was the most respectful stare they'd ever seen. Even the people commenting
- 48:43are like trying to like work, Like, how do I talk about this
- 48:46without getting in trouble? Have you noticed that? Like you see? I
- 48:49like anyway? Someone else said that when you genuinely admire someone, you don't
- 48:53cross their boundaries, and this was a prime example of that. Like,
- 48:57I don't even like what these people are saying this guy. Are you telling
- 49:00me if Christian Gray was standing there getting a good eye full of that ass
- 49:07and this chip walking, they would be like, oh, yeah, that's
- 49:10exactly what he should have done. Yeah right, aren't you know? Oh
- 49:19man, okay, all right. One man wrote that he enjoyed the clip
- 49:22because it was good to see men aren't scared to be seen looking at women
- 49:27in public. Oh god, wait, wait, wait, that's actually kind
- 49:30of interesting. So this man who said he said, I'll read it again.
- 49:36One man wrote that he enjoyed the clip because it was good to see
- 49:40and she doesn't think that's good. So it was good to see that men
- 49:44aren't scared to be seen looking at women in public. So that means that
- 49:50the man who wrote that it genuinely thinks that is scary for men to be
- 49:57seen looking at women in public, because it is because they've made like there's
- 50:02like this, it's like he's aware of like the danger of essentially being caught
- 50:10appearing to be a creep, which is completely subjective. And he's been pointing
- 50:15out that this guy doesn't seem to he's at least either couldn't help himself or
- 50:19didn't care. And he's saying, Wow, that guy's courageous because it's good
- 50:24that he wasn't scared, right to see that men aren't scared. So so
- 50:29that that means that what this guy did in the eyes of the man who
- 50:30made this comment is an act of courage because of just how absolutely messed up
- 50:38things are. M hmm, you see what I'm saying. Yeah, And
- 50:44it's funny because this woman probably never felt threatened the woman who took her picture.
- 50:52She clearly didn't mind like what she was wearing because she chose to wear
- 50:54it. But we're supposed to worry about what she should be feeling because that's
- 51:00what Mary Madigan is saying, and that this guy had the audacity to look
- 51:07at her. There was a strong sentiment that looking at women was something that
- 51:12all guys do, with one man saying he could relate to the guy staring
- 51:16because every man has been in this position before. Perhaps the most alarming response
- 51:22was a tweet that praised the man for not harassing the woman. He just
- 51:25looked at her with admiration, whether disturbing or harassing her. One praised,
- 51:30well is the person making the comment the piece of shit? Though, why
- 51:37would you assume that a man is ready to harass a woman like he deserves
- 51:40to be rewarded for not doing a thing that he probably wouldn't have done anyways?
- 51:44And also what does he mean by harassment? Yeah, harassment is because
- 51:50he's an ugo, Yeah, you think he is, like the only reason,
- 51:58but you know, let's say he would approach her, it would it
- 52:00really be harassment if he's if he's like high, I just want to know
- 52:02where you get your shoes. I don't know. I was thinking of getting
- 52:07a pair for my mother. I do who knows, Like would that be
- 52:12harassment? Like it's completely up to her. Only reason why anybody would look
- 52:20at that and say if this man approached her it would be harassment is because
- 52:23of his looks. That's it. That's the only thing that it would make
- 52:29this harassment to them. So that's the only appraisal unless you're honestly saying that
- 52:36every time a man approaches a woman for anything is harassment, Like well,
- 52:43not only that, but like not only is harassment subjective in the eyes of
- 52:46the person that's being approached, Like in the case of this woman here got
- 52:52her name already the model the TikToker. But the author of this article,
- 53:00Mary is saying that if Mary is offended, it's like Mary can decide if
- 53:05it's her arassment, right even though it's somebody else, so she can do
- 53:09ask Mary for consent. Did Barbara, did you ask Mary's consent before you
- 53:15poured yourself into those leggings as someone not did you not get the consent from
- 53:23someone? Is there someone being left out? This is I see why this
- 53:29has been like the talk of the town in a way, because it's just
- 53:32it's so insane. So I got another super chow. Thank you, Richard,
- 53:37and he says for five daughters. All of those comments about the behavior
- 53:42of this man has derailed the point of his video being about the female influencer
- 53:46and robbed her of her position in the center of the spotlight. Well,
- 53:51they've been an influencer. Is not the one who's pushing all this crap?
- 53:54You're right, Mary has in this article. I think actually Mary has sort
- 54:00of dehumanized Barbara or because she hasn't like you don't do that, you don't
- 54:06refer to the woman when you know her name. That's dehumanizing, Like that's
- 54:13like she is taking away Barbara's individuality. She's not only taking away Barbara's appraisal
- 54:22of the situation, and really it should be Barbara's attitude towards it that establishes
- 54:28if anybody, or at least a reasonable standard, like if Barbara isn't taking
- 54:34an offense, there should be no reason for Mary to take offense, right,
- 54:38and also Barbara's offense should be held to a reasonable standard too. But
- 54:44it's even worse that she's not taking any offense. And then some rando on
- 54:47the internet New York Times reporter, you know, takes offense on her behalf.
- 54:57It's ridiculous. This is some offense inception going on on here. Okay,
- 55:00let's let's finish that much longer? Is how does Mary milk this?
- 55:05So? I mean, I think that's the big offense here. It's just
- 55:08how much Mary managed to make out of this? All right? A woman
- 55:15said, paragraph is this? How many paragraphs? It's it's almost over.
- 55:20I think, oh, okay, good good. So yeah. A woman
- 55:24said that the response to this video proved that society standards had gone down the
- 55:30drain, raising a man for looking at a woman's butt and not harassing her.
- 55:35When has society standards become this low? She demanded psychologists. They brought
- 55:39in the experts to talk about it. Let's bring in the psychologist or psychologist.
- 55:50Carly Dover said that celebrating this kind of behavior is a huge problem and
- 55:54enforces the kind of culture that has this wrong idea that women owe men something?
- 56:00What? Oh my god, where did you get what? We we
- 56:04really escalated fast therefore, yeah, right, wait, hold on, I
- 56:07got something for that. Hold on a second, just just a second,
- 56:13hold on, boy related quickly. I mean that really got all right?
- 56:25All right, So now we're at men are entitled. The guy just looked
- 56:29at her, walked off, And now we're talking about how people saying,
- 56:34hey, oh well he just looked respectfully and moved on, and that that
- 56:38means that women. Oh okay, let's let's see if she can explain the
- 56:43logic. Let's see what the logic find. This is quite the stretch.
- 56:45Let's see the men, oh men, oh, women own something? Because
- 56:51happened to be in a place where a woman was wearing a very tight outfit
- 56:54and he happened to look at her like you just like complete, like just
- 57:00you know, the planets aligned. I'm sure that he remembers because he's viral.
- 57:06Now, congratulations, DJ Khaled, you played yourself. Okay, But
- 57:10anyway, uh quote, this is the psychologist. While restraint or holding back
- 57:17might be might what While restraint or holding back might be being a celebrated by
- 57:24some men, that attitude might reinforce the belief that women are solely there to
- 57:30be accessed for pleasure by men or to get attention from men, and that
- 57:35they are being the bigger person in not going out of their way to hit
- 57:39on women. Oh you're the love of God. So if a man doesn't
- 57:43do something that okay, so feminists say, okay, don't do this,
- 57:46man, But if you don't do it, that doesn't mean you're better.
- 57:51That doesn't mean you're morally better. Like say, you can't you can't consider
- 57:54yourself better than the man. Okay, So this man can't consider himself better
- 58:00then the man who was like, oh wow, I'm gonna just Hong Kong
- 58:09just went right in there, right right into the crack hon konk you got
- 58:15as you got a great ass, just just you know, I just needed,
- 58:20I felt, I felt the urge to to to palpate the produce,
- 58:24to just see the quality, just see the quality of those melons. Right.
- 58:30So, but this guy who just looked and walked on can't consider himself
- 58:34to have a better response than a man that just went right for it and
- 58:37just was like I'm gonna get I'm gonna have a couple of grabs and then
- 58:40walk on. And that's the feminist framework. Men. You have to do
- 58:45X y Z. Men, you have to do a whole alphabet of things.
- 58:49You have a whole freaking list of ship that you have to do.
- 58:52But you shouldn't feel like you're a better man for having done it. You
- 58:55still you should still feel like shit like that that's what ye lose. Lose.
- 59:05What kind of entitlement does this woman have? Like she demands that the
- 59:09slave class, you know, not look at yon princess. But if the
- 59:15slave class can manage to have that kind of obsequious attitude, they shouldn't feel
- 59:20better than the slaves that are incapable of attaining the standard. Like that's literally
- 59:24what she says. Men, you have this standard, but don't feel good
- 59:28about attaining it. You know what I think would be the fucking cherry on
- 59:32top. As if Barbara caught wind of this video, seek that man out
- 59:38and went on a date with him and then took pictures like, oh,
- 59:44I want to take you out. You seem like a I'm glad you noticed
- 59:46I was out here marketing. You know. It's like they say, like
- 59:50me, men are salesman, women are marketers. She was marketing and he
- 59:54and he was like interested in buying, and she decided to take him out.
- 59:58That would be golden. I mean, I don't know that it's likely,
- 1:00:00probably isn't, but still it will be funny because essentially Maria or Mary
- 1:00:07is essentially in. She is inserting herself into this exchange by commenting on and
- 1:00:15she doesn't know any of the parties involved. She doesn't know what Barbara wants.
- 1:00:20She doesn't know all. You know, Barbara's probably gonna get a million
- 1:00:23more views out of this because people are gonna be looking at it for one
- 1:00:27thing, and they're gonna be like, oh, to check out this girl's
- 1:00:29TikTok videos. And the man is probably gonna be like, well, I
- 1:00:34guess I'm kind of famous, but you know, but I'm also a piece
- 1:00:37of shit. It's a I guess I got caught. Maybe I shouldn't look
- 1:00:39at women anymore. I mean, I don't know. I just can't believe
- 1:00:43what this individual, this freaking psychologist. Incidentally, this should be uh,
- 1:00:47this should be a wake up call to anybody who thinks, well, if
- 1:00:51you want to go to a psychologist, just be really careful because you might
- 1:00:53get Carly dauber Well. I mean like, but psychology is she's not good
- 1:01:00for a woman either, But it might be celebrated by some men. That
- 1:01:07attitude might reinforce the belief that women are solely there to be accessed for pleasure
- 1:01:12by men. So, men who say women are not there for your pleasure,
- 1:01:15so you must be respectful regardless of the fact that they've poured themselves into
- 1:01:19a sausage casting in which you can see the cleft not just of their ass,
- 1:01:23but you know, the pussy fat. Yeah, like, you can
- 1:01:30see all of it if you If you don't still be engaged in a respectful
- 1:01:35manner towards these women who are putting all their goods on display. Those men
- 1:01:38who are saying that to other men are also participating and treating women like objects
- 1:01:46of pleasure. So men who are saying to other men women are your objects
- 1:01:50of pleasure, even if they put themselves on display, you can't treat them
- 1:01:52that way, they are also doing that. Yes, somehow, okay,
- 1:02:00all right, society is insane. Literally you should not listen to this.
- 1:02:07No, no, this is this is this is insanity. And honestly,
- 1:02:13I think that this is jealousy. They are jealous of the attention that Barbara
- 1:02:19is getting competition, say intersexual competition, manifested journalism, this is this is
- 1:02:27female intersectional competition. What's really happening here is they are trying to make Barbara
- 1:02:32into a victim of attention that she appreciated, right, attention that she apparently
- 1:02:38is getting and is at least honest to say, yes, this is the
- 1:02:40attention I'm getting. I want this attention. I'm happy with it as long
- 1:02:45as somebody isn't, you know, trying the goods out for a ride.
- 1:02:49Shall we say, yeah, you know so? But it's like and then
- 1:02:53they're inserting themselves and they're trying to make her a victim of this to discredit
- 1:02:59the tension that she's getting out of jealousy for that attention. This is transparent,
- 1:03:06you know. And this is why we had all of those myths and
- 1:03:08fairy tales about the jealous queen with her her mirror you know, who's the
- 1:03:13fairest in the land, and all of these cautionary tales female jealousy. You
- 1:03:19know that there was there for a reason so that women would learn to challenge
- 1:03:23that that that is a form of villainy. Am I blowing out the my
- 1:03:28mic at all? Or is it okay? The volume is okay, might
- 1:03:32be a little too close? Oh yeah, all right? Should we move
- 1:03:36past? What do you guys think? I mean said, what do you
- 1:03:38think should I should I go close? Or should I stay? Should I
- 1:03:43eat the mic? Or maybe if it stay there? All right? I
- 1:03:47think this might be the end here, but let me see and then there's
- 1:03:51some kind it's okay. That is the end of the article. Listen to
- 1:03:57dab all the the The psychologist has two things left to say at the bottom
- 1:04:01there. Oh yeah, it's a little confusing, yeah, because there's like
- 1:04:06a this looks like the Yeah. Dover also said the response to the clip
- 1:04:11highlights how much she still needs how much still needs to change in modern society.
- 1:04:17Quote, why do we listen to these people? Culturally? Some men
- 1:04:21still also think that women wearing particular clothes or presenting themselves in certain ways still
- 1:04:29demands attention from the opposite sex. This is still something that needs to change,
- 1:04:32she said, Don't look at me. I'm wearing this in public.
- 1:04:39I know what it looks like, I know what I'm doing, but don't
- 1:04:43look at me. Don't look at me. Okay, okay, there are
- 1:04:46ways to get attention without getting sexual attention, Like this woman could have worn
- 1:04:53an elephant suit. Yeah, she could have been she could have worn the
- 1:04:59blood of her anim me and be carrying a freaking axe. Okay, there's
- 1:05:03ways to get attention that are not sexual. These the things that the reason
- 1:05:10why the things that she's doing get attention is because they're sexual displays. All
- 1:05:15right, are you gonna Okay, if a woman had walked past you know,
- 1:05:24just imagine a buzz cut, you know, obvious bull dyke walk past
- 1:05:29Dunn, a double take shirt done, a double take, would you say
- 1:05:34that that is it's culturally some women still think that women wearing particular clothes are
- 1:05:42presenting themselves in certain walls still a man's attention, Like if a woman was
- 1:05:45responding to the sexual display, would you deny that it's a sexual display?
- 1:05:50No, you just want to punish men for feeling an emotion. It's really
- 1:05:56it's like crypto Christianity. Yeah, it's like this condemnation of male sexuality,
- 1:06:03Like this is basically Saint Augustine's shadow, like right here in this entire freaking
- 1:06:11article, you know, the demon Rod then and how men's sexual desires are
- 1:06:16horrible. This is Okay, let's keep going. Let's do the comments,
- 1:06:21because let's get some comments. Board housewife says, oh, come on,
- 1:06:30men have ogled women for centuries, and women love it, and men love
- 1:06:32it when they're ogled as well. She loves it too, but she's using
- 1:06:36social media claim she she doesn't because that's going to gain her a lot of
- 1:06:42more followers. And this is totally unfair. Okay, what's going on?
- 1:06:46Can you hear me? Yeah? I can hear you. What was that?
- 1:06:48Okay, for some reason, my mute thing is yeah, it says
- 1:06:51you're muted, but I can hear you. Yeah, it says my mute.
- 1:06:54Okay, that's really scary. But anyway, all right, now this
- 1:06:59individual whose sentiment you know, I think is true, but of course we're
- 1:07:03in we're right now. We're in like a society that's decided that it hates
- 1:07:08reproduction, so we're going to attack it in every angle possible. Now,
- 1:07:14this board housewife thinks the woman in question, the influencer, was upset.
- 1:07:19I don't think she was. So now Mary, Now somebody thinks that Mary's
- 1:07:26opinion is the influencer's opinion. Women are high pon, I guess, so
- 1:07:30she Yeah, she the board Cube told her what was going on, and
- 1:07:35then she told Mary told Barbara, and now Barbara has been affected as well
- 1:07:43because they're the board Cube. Mm hmmm, they're trying to assimilate her.
- 1:07:49Okay, yeah, she's like, she's she seems the misunderstanding. Maybe that's
- 1:07:54the point too, though, maybe Mary is acting. Uh oh, I
- 1:07:58think Alison dropped and I dropped two? Uh oh? Something going on with
- 1:08:02Discord? What's happening? Uh? Sorry, guys, he's finished with Discord?
- 1:08:12Here? Am I still? Am? I still here? It says
- 1:08:16I am, and you guys, You guys can still hear me. Okay,
- 1:08:20I don't know what's going on at with Discord Discords doing something? Goofy
- 1:08:28can't stream into this server. Why are some of these clothes and some of
- 1:08:33these are open? Help me out here? What's happening? Hold on a
- 1:08:40second, guys, I'm sorry. Oh I got kicked out of a live
- 1:08:43show. Okay, I'm back. Are you back? Yeah? I'm back.
- 1:08:47What happened? I don't know, some weird ship Discords did something really
- 1:08:54weird. Hold on a second. I'm a second. I'm gonna have guys
- 1:08:58in game chat. If something happened to them. Okay, yeah, I
- 1:09:00saw a couple of them got little. Some of the other places that I
- 1:09:06can access, they they also have weird shit going on. But we're back.
- 1:09:12Oh Alison left the room, she'll be back. Give me a second.
- 1:09:16I'm gonna read all right. So they basically said that discord ship itself
- 1:09:21for everyone. So that's what happened, guys, Sorry about that all.
- 1:09:26I just camera back on. There's a there's actually a game thing going on
- 1:09:30in our discord right now as we do the stream. So I just tried
- 1:09:33to ask them what was going on, and they told me that it's everybody's
- 1:09:39kind of got I was scared there for a moment because I was your camera.
- 1:09:43I was looking at I was looking at our server and there was nothing
- 1:09:46in it. Yeah. Mine, Yeah I saw that too. It's actually
- 1:09:51a couple of places are affected, the Honeybage radio fan discord and the anti
- 1:09:57feminist Burrow, which is like another discord group I'm in. They both have
- 1:10:01like notifications something's wrong. This chord is. I mean, it's really useful,
- 1:10:08but it's got problems. Okay anyway, I just I just want to
- 1:10:14point out DJ Khaled did nothing wrong. So I was reading that guy DJ
- 1:10:19Collin. No, the guy in the video looks like DJ Collin, but
- 1:10:24it's okay, some guy, So I'm just calling. It's like parking Lot,
- 1:10:29Batman, We're just calling. I remember of parking Lot hurting her.
- 1:10:42Where are the other drugs going anyway? Boarder housewife says, you know we
- 1:10:46already read that one. Let's go to it. I didn't read the whole
- 1:10:48thing, though, It just it just says there will come a day,
- 1:10:53as she ages, when men will stop admiring her, and that is something
- 1:10:55to complain about. I speak from experience. And then Girth Brooks sounds like
- 1:11:00a porn name, says, you sound awesome, Garth Brooks. Will Rogers
- 1:11:06Junior says, I too like to enjoy checking out a piece of meat,
- 1:11:12but I know it's too expensive and bad for my heart, so I move
- 1:11:14on. And then they kind of they're kind of going after her, but
- 1:11:18I don't think that's fair. It's because it's not. This isn't this is
- 1:11:26not the what's her name? Rebecca? Rebecca? No, what the hell,
- 1:11:30Barbara? This is not Barbara complaining. Barbara's not complaining unless she is.
- 1:11:34I don't know. I have to look Purple Battery says, but most
- 1:11:40women like being admired. Just look at what women post on social media today.
- 1:11:44Everyone wants to be on stage. Yes, I mean, uh,
- 1:11:51show more comments. It's her literal job to be looked at. She's an
- 1:11:56influencer, selling herself for likes, creating and posting video for attention. Her
- 1:12:00body was bought for maximum exposure. Low standards. Are people like this who
- 1:12:05set up scenarios at the expense of others so they can profit from it.
- 1:12:09Well, we did click on the article, so I guess I guess you
- 1:12:13win. You checkmate, Mary, I guess you got us. Well played.
- 1:12:19Rock Coop says. What if this guy identifies as a woman and was
- 1:12:26staring and pacing because he wanted to ask her where she got her outfit,
- 1:12:29as he was interested in getting that outfit for some reason. Yeah, how
- 1:12:34transphobic of you. Oh now you're mute at Allison. Oh good greed.
- 1:12:42He could have been gay. He could have been like I would like to
- 1:12:45get that. Yeah, one of my female relatives. Maybe he's a drag
- 1:12:50queen. Who knows? Who knows? Absolutely, we don't know, you
- 1:12:55know, because his name could be DJ Khalifa, not DJ call it okay.
- 1:13:03So anyway, so these women who complain and say we need to respect
- 1:13:06pronouns automatically assume this guy had lurid things on his mind. Really, ladies,
- 1:13:11who's jumping to conclusions now? Joe Frazier says, excellent return of serve.
- 1:13:19Uh that is good. That's you know what. I don't know if
- 1:13:24you're gonna top that one. Okay, I got another super child. Do
- 1:13:26you have any thank you? I do. I have one thank you to
- 1:13:30give to the Great Indoors for one hundred dollars. Thank you, Great Indoors.
- 1:13:33Oh, thank you, Great Indoors. Very much appreciated. And again,
- 1:13:39if you would like to join our very generous supporters to make sure that
- 1:13:42we can continue to bring you this content, please go to feed the Badger
- 1:13:45dot com slash support and it's very much appreciated. And yeah, it's uh
- 1:13:50all right. Oh and also if you want to send us a message,
- 1:13:54feed the Badger dot com slash just the tip. We get the full benefit
- 1:13:57of the funds and you get the full benefit of avoiding YouTube censorship. So
- 1:14:00win win, except for YouTube, but it deserves to win everything. Okay,
- 1:14:06jud what was that? Oh did you want to do the super chow.
- 1:14:12Yes, I'm gonna do the superchow. Richard Bierre gives us five dollars,
- 1:14:15Thank you, Richard, and says the majority of men were completely uninterested
- 1:14:18in looking, either by being homosexual or eunux. These women would be complaining
- 1:14:25about that and creating a propaganda campaign against it, such as the public service
- 1:14:30mini movies from the nineteen fifties against homosexuality as being predatory. My discord has
- 1:14:34been having random crashes and restarts too. Oh it's a pretty okay, Well,
- 1:14:40I'm glad. It was like it's constantly updating and it doesn't seem to
- 1:14:45be fixing anything. I don't get it. Maybe some stage of entropy.
- 1:14:53Yeah, it's a general entropy of the of the platform. I mean,
- 1:14:57I'm thankful because it's free, so you know, I'm not gonna complain.
- 1:15:00Actually, we're paying for some aspects of the like to upgrade our server.
- 1:15:05This is not completely well yeah, that makes sense, Yeah, okay,
- 1:15:10okay. Judadiah Johnson says she's showing it off. However, you aren't allowed
- 1:15:15to look if you don't meet her super high standards. Socialized anymore. It's
- 1:15:18ridiculous going on the days when people actually socialize and did things in person.
- 1:15:23Okay, this is the problem. She's not the one complaining. She's not
- 1:15:27the one complaining. I think someone explains that down here. May Mary Madigan
- 1:15:31is an unattractive, blue haired troll. This article is clickbait. She's a
- 1:15:34joke. She's a joke. She's never had the pleasure of a man admiring
- 1:15:39her, so she projects her outrage ont of other women who have an honest
- 1:15:45Democrat. An honest democrat. Weird. Maybe maybe there are you know,
- 1:15:50there are people on the left who are getting freaking tired of this. You
- 1:15:54know. Yeah, maybe no, I've seen it. They are getting tired
- 1:15:58of it. Sorry, I I have to figure out how to get the
- 1:16:01right distance from my mic. Oh, probably sounds fine. I probably should.
- 1:16:05People said it sounds fine in the comment. Okay, so it sounds
- 1:16:09fine, all right, So I'll try to keep it like this. I
- 1:16:12am trying to make this sound better because I know that that was an issue.
- 1:16:16Yeah, yeah, I think people are confused. They didn't like,
- 1:16:21really look at this closely. I think that Mary Madigan wanted people to think
- 1:16:28that Barbara is offended and Mary Mannigan is just speaking up for the for the
- 1:16:33voiceless, giving voice to the voiceless. But the truth is Barbara bas Broba
- 1:16:38is probably fine with it, like it's probably flattered because it is. Probably
- 1:16:43She's Latina. Her whole job is to be looked at. Yeah. Also
- 1:16:48culture where that's people are a little less, you know, latinos, you
- 1:16:56know, but Latin culture they still want to have sex, you know,
- 1:16:59and have family and stuff. They don't they don't hate that those things like
- 1:17:02we like to do white people. Yeah, yeah, I I you know,
- 1:17:06you get that at it, you get that sense. It's nice though.
- 1:17:10You know, it's like you go to the North and we're all a
- 1:17:14bunch of frozen robots terrified of our of any kind of human urge. You
- 1:17:19go down South and they're like yeah right, what is that that phrase?
- 1:17:28But anyways, you know, they they seem to be more comfortable with themselves,
- 1:17:30like fucking under attack. But yeah, oh yeah yeah, Italy's doing
- 1:17:35better though, they are. Yeah, yeah, okay, that's I mean,
- 1:17:41do you wanna it's seven twenty one? Do you want to call it
- 1:17:45here or do you want to look at something else? Hmm? I mean,
- 1:17:50honestly I found this amusing. There was some other stuff that we want
- 1:17:54we're gonna thinking of doing. We could take a look at it quickly if
- 1:17:58you want. Well, I was thinking, and I was thinking, because
- 1:18:00it's kind of interesting. I was thinking, we can look at that trailer
- 1:18:04for that movie, all right, you know, just at trailer, okay,
- 1:18:09because I thought there trailer so there. There have been a lot of
- 1:18:13movies coming out lately that are what was that? Just be careful because I
- 1:18:17know, I know, I know there have been a lot of of of
- 1:18:24films coming out that are kind of like you know, about the me Too
- 1:18:27movement, and or they're like allegorical references to you know, men, like
- 1:18:33there was that movie Men there was. There's lots of stuff like that out
- 1:18:40there, right, And let me see if I can find this trailer.
- 1:18:47And then I saw this trailer for this movie called Miller's Girl, And I'm
- 1:18:51gonna show you did you see this yet? Allison? Have you seen the
- 1:19:00yet? You saw it? I've seen the trailer. Okay, all right,
- 1:19:04we're gonna do like the last Last Pece. Okay, it's not showing
- 1:19:09up for me, but oh I'm putting it here. I'm putting it here.
- 1:19:12Oh Okay, good, Maybe we could go and just look at like
- 1:19:15the last minute of it instead of the first minute minute. It doesn't build
- 1:19:18up. Yeah, yeah, like right here, sure, okay, so
- 1:19:28what was that? Give a We're gonna have to stop periodically, guys,
- 1:19:30so don't get too upset about that. Maybe like twenty seconds something like that,
- 1:19:34or even fifteen or something like that. Yeah. So this is this
- 1:19:39is a movie by lions Gate. It stars Martin Freeman, who you guys
- 1:19:43might know from the Hobbit trilogy and the Sherlock Show. Remember the Sherlock Show
- 1:19:47that was on BBC with Benedict Cumberbun and Martin Freeman and no, but I
- 1:19:56believe you you've never seen the Sharlock Show. It seems like something that will
- 1:19:59be up your ally, Ali. You know, it's kind of like you
- 1:20:02know, it's Sherlock, right, but it's like modern and it's like super
- 1:20:06you know, brainy ship. I thought you would like it sort of a
- 1:20:10lot of people who like doctor who liked the Sherlock Show when it was on,
- 1:20:14like benedicta and Martin Freeman on the map. Okay, I will take
- 1:20:18I will check it out all right. Success. You know, if you
- 1:20:23like mysteries, which I think you do. Okay, but anyway, so
- 1:20:33bandersnatch uh. Anyway, So it stars Martin Freeman and Jenna Ortega. And
- 1:20:41Jenna Ortega I think of her as the kind of the she's like the anti
- 1:20:45Rachel Ziegler because she seems like a pretty decent woman and young lady. I'll
- 1:20:51say young lady because I think she's I don't know, like she's in her
- 1:20:55twenties or something. Anyway, So the the short version is this, Okay,
- 1:21:00so you have this woman, she this young lady, she's eighteen.
- 1:21:03She's in college and she's like in an English class and her English professor,
- 1:21:08who is played by Martin Freeman, is helping her on an assignment. And
- 1:21:12the young lady decides that she's going to seduce him, and so she starts,
- 1:21:18like you know, through the course of the film, she she starts
- 1:21:23to seduce him, and you basically things start to get like intense and I'm
- 1:21:29gonna play I'm not gonna say anything until the end because there's what you it's
- 1:21:33it's sort of like a throwback to something to some other stuff from the past.
- 1:21:38But this is something you don't see these days because most of the time
- 1:21:41movies like this are like you know, uh, he said, I think
- 1:21:45that was a move or she said. There was a movie called she said,
- 1:21:48which was about the me too movement. There was the one about the
- 1:21:54Black Widow. Movie was basically like Harvey Weinstein and like his Russian slave girls,
- 1:22:00so like stuff like that. But this is this is different. So
- 1:22:02let's play. Let's play it. Why did you write this? This is
- 1:22:08inappropriate? Right? What you know is what you said. If you don't
- 1:22:11even know this, I have to feel you. I'm dare you. I'm
- 1:22:17just pausing for the banana. Soa she wrote some suggestive stuff for her assignment.
- 1:22:24He read it and he said, look, this is not appropriate.
- 1:22:28Hey, and most likely I would imagine that the content of the suggestive stuff
- 1:22:31is something to do with him. Yes, yes, well, because earlier
- 1:22:36in the trailer she's like with her roommate, and the roommate is like you,
- 1:22:42you you should try to make him love you or something like that,
- 1:22:45essentially saying, you know, seduce him, see if you can get him
- 1:22:50exactly you know. So all right, let's play some more of this.
- 1:22:57See, he's like he's been living in gray scale and you're the first thing
- 1:23:03he's ever seen in color. We got to stop it. Sorry, we
- 1:23:12just have to do the that. We just have to stop periodically again for
- 1:23:15the copyright and speak it's okay. So what so success she may have or
- 1:23:23may not have successfully seduced him at this point, we don't know. They
- 1:23:26don't show you much, but they can. He's I think the guy is
- 1:23:30experiencing uh, like he's clearly being tempted and he doesn't know what to do,
- 1:23:35but he does, like he does have a wife and ship. No,
- 1:23:39no, this is not as bad as you think. I don't think
- 1:23:42it's going to be as bad as you think. Is somebody saying in the
- 1:23:45chat that it's going to be bad. No, somebody said I already don't
- 1:23:47want to watch it, but I I think I think I showed it to
- 1:23:50Lindsay and she was like, actually kind of want to see it, but
- 1:23:53let let's play the rest of it or a little bit more. I meant,
- 1:24:02yeah, that point, it's like, I think the indication is that
- 1:24:05he isn't going to do anything with her. He might be tempted, but
- 1:24:09he's establishing that boundary. Yes, he says, I am you are my
- 1:24:13student, I am your teacher. That's all okay, And of course she
- 1:24:16doesn't like that. So here we go. If she can convince him that
- 1:24:25something happened between us, I can lose my job. So you see,
- 1:24:31yeah, that's his wife presumably, yeah, that's like his wife or lover
- 1:24:34or something. We don't know. But he says to her, if she
- 1:24:40can convince them, with them being the authorities or whatever, I could lose
- 1:24:45my job. And the wife is like, that's not all you'll lose,
- 1:24:48and it sounds like she's presuming his guilt as well. So it's like,
- 1:24:54there's you know, but we'll let we'll keep going. Somebody said, don't
- 1:24:59stand so close to me like that song, but yeah that song. Yeah,
- 1:25:02yeah, okay, there's a little bit. There's only twenty seconds left
- 1:25:08her Okay, how did it start? You're gonna have to stop there.
- 1:25:25Yeah. So the implication is that that this is that because she hasn't gotten
- 1:25:30what she wanted, she's now gonna make an allegation against him again. And
- 1:25:35they, I guess the big question will be is the allegation true. Well,
- 1:25:41so at the end they put a disclaimer. I'm gonna show I'm not
- 1:25:44gonna play anything, but I'm gonna put on the screen and it just says
- 1:25:46there are complex themes that appear in this film. To access resources on some
- 1:25:50of the subject matter, please visit lines dot com, Forward Slash Movies,
- 1:25:55Forward Slash Miller's Girl. So, now this is the thing that I think
- 1:25:59is kind of interesting because if you go there, I think it's like,
- 1:26:00you know, like sexual assault hotlines and things like that. What I think
- 1:26:05they might be doing is covering their ass because there have been other films about
- 1:26:10me Too that have simply just painted the women as victims and the menace perpetrators.
- 1:26:15There have been a number of those in the last like decade, and
- 1:26:19this one seems to feel the need to make a special disclaimer. So what
- 1:26:25I think is going on is that they're doing the other side of the coin.
- 1:26:29And there are other movies that have done this. So there was there
- 1:26:31was a film called The Crush, which is what I meant by a throwback.
- 1:26:34Alicia Silverstone was in it, and she was a young girl that was
- 1:26:39trying to seduce a man and when he wouldn't like return her affections, she
- 1:26:45became obsessed and like you know, dysfunctional, violent. I don't know,
- 1:26:49it's been a while since I've seen it, but I remember watching it.
- 1:26:53There was also there was this one single white female do you remember that movie?
- 1:27:00M hm, single white female with I can't remember her name, but
- 1:27:04she's a really good actress. I like her and everything. But she was
- 1:27:10like a roommate and she becomes obsessed with her roommates, well basically her roommate
- 1:27:14herself. She tries to become her. But part of that is that she
- 1:27:16rapes her husband or her boyfriend election where Reese Witherspoon, I've never seen that
- 1:27:25that that is that is that? Does that have that plot or cruel intentions?
- 1:27:30Do you remember that movie Ryan Philippe and Sarah Michelle Geller The Buffy The
- 1:27:35Vampires Layer? So there are oh and there was that that's it was a
- 1:27:41Swedish movie with Mad's Michelson where he is a he he works at a daycare
- 1:27:48center and there's a little girl that that goes to the daycare center, like
- 1:27:53a very young girl, and she accuses him of touching her because she's angry
- 1:27:57with him about something, and it turns it this big thing. The whole
- 1:28:00town is after him, and even after he clears his name and everything,
- 1:28:04everyone is suspicious of him forever. It's very it's very good. I gues,
- 1:28:09wow, that is good. Do you guys remember the name of that
- 1:28:12one? Zarring says, the crush didn't see it, but it makes me
- 1:28:15think of Billie Idol's Cradle of Love video. Well, I'm looking on men's
- 1:28:20rights Reddit right now the discussion of this at this movie. Yeah I can.
- 1:28:26I can send you the link right here, Yeah, sure, send
- 1:28:30me putting it up so they have a discussion of this show. So apparently
- 1:28:34they've investigated a bit more. Apparently it's a it may be about something that
- 1:28:41actually happened in real life. No, I don't see any links to the
- 1:28:45to the alleged real life Yeah, I don't see any links to that.
- 1:28:49But apparently new movie called Miller's Girl that's about false accusations. Mm hmm,
- 1:28:58I mean this is if you go down a bit, there's phantra death.
- 1:29:01He says, you know, this exact situation has actually happened in real life.
- 1:29:04The guy killed himself after the wife took the kids and left him.
- 1:29:08That made her have some doubts. So although the police refused to investigate further,
- 1:29:12the wife hired a private investigator. The whole incident revolved around an anonymously
- 1:29:15posted fictional account in the school newspaper. The PI proved that not only was
- 1:29:19it a lie, but the girl who did it was motivated by jealousy because
- 1:29:24the guy was her musical instructor and had developed a friendship with a different student,
- 1:29:29also female, but nothing inappropriate had ever happened between them. The teacher
- 1:29:31was giving her additional tutoring sessions because she was graduating soon and wanted to lend
- 1:29:36a job in a particular symphony orchestra. The girl that made the allegations was
- 1:29:40jealous of that, so she published the story and honestly in the school paper
- 1:29:44when she knew that the teacher was unaccounted for. Turns out, he was
- 1:29:46once again giving the other girl lessons of the time, and even after he
- 1:29:49was accused, she was afraid to come forward because the other girl threatened to
- 1:29:51make it look like the teacher was having an affair with her, which likely
- 1:29:55would have prevented her from getting that job she wanted, so she remained silent.
- 1:29:59The teacher killed himself. The police figured he must have been guilty,
- 1:30:00and because it was anonymous story run in a school newspaper, no criminal laws
- 1:30:03have been broken, so they didn't look any further into it. Eventually it
- 1:30:06all came out that the teacher had been innocent, the one girl had lied,
- 1:30:11the other girl was the teachers alibi due to the work of the PI.
- 1:30:14But again, no laws were broken, so there was no way to
- 1:30:15punish anyone for what happened. That's what believe all women gets you. I
- 1:30:20believe all anonymous accounts. I actually not even believe all women. It just
- 1:30:25believe all accusations against men. Yeah, basically, the mads mich of the
- 1:30:31movie I was thinking, it's called The Hunt, came out in twenty twelve
- 1:30:34there, and there are so like I said, Oh Gone Girls another one
- 1:30:38that has a false allegation in it too, So there are movies like that
- 1:30:44that exist, and I do think that's what this is. And Plus I
- 1:30:47don't know much about Jenna Ortega, but I do know that she seems like
- 1:30:54less programmed than other starlets in Hollywood right now. She seems to be a
- 1:31:00bit more independent willed, so she probably would do something like this and not
- 1:31:08see it as like a because like she did the Wednesday Adams show that was
- 1:31:14on Netflix. I never watched it, but apparently like apparently. Yeah,
- 1:31:17Oh yeah, go ahead. No, I didn't actually watch it either,
- 1:31:20so go ahead and say what you were gonna say. Oh, I was
- 1:31:23just gonna say that. You know, she did the Wednesday Adams Show,
- 1:31:25and I guess that the people at Netflix wanted her to do some things that
- 1:31:29she felt was really out of character, and she fought with them about it,
- 1:31:32kind of like how Henry Cavill got into lots of arguments with the team
- 1:31:36for the Witcher Show because Henry Cavill had read the books and he was a
- 1:31:41big fan of the Witcher books and he was like, that's not what Geryl
- 1:31:44would do. That doesn't make sense, and he was he was basically creating
- 1:31:47a bunch of shit because he's a nerd and likes things to be like canon
- 1:31:50and accurate. And Jenna Ortego was doing something similar with Wednesday. John Doe
- 1:31:57says Wednesday was cringe. Probably I never saw it, so I don't know,
- 1:32:00but Okay, well, I guess we'll have to keep an eye on
- 1:32:05this and see if it actually is at all rebellious. We will see the
- 1:32:14institutional I don't normally get like at all interested in new films, especially when
- 1:32:20they're yea, because it's kind of predictable what it's going to be when when
- 1:32:27they don't have this kind of like political subject matter, there's something really empty
- 1:32:32in new films. Like I was watching this Christmas film with Eddie Murphy,
- 1:32:38and I usually enjoy Eddie Murphy. Yeah, and I'm like watching this totally
- 1:32:46empty. Like it's not even just like badly written, because there's lots of
- 1:32:51badly written movies in the past. This is like, was this written by
- 1:32:56something that was human? You know, I think a lot was written by
- 1:33:00Ai. Actually probably it doesn't have Kane Lane is what it was, right,
- 1:33:05Yeah, and it just it's a mess. But also it's like it
- 1:33:10just does it just misses all of its emotional beats to the point where I'm
- 1:33:13like, did the person who so an empty shell? He can't now he
- 1:33:18is? Yeah, now yeah. It's because like if you watch old Eddie
- 1:33:23Murphy movies, even though you know he is a black actor, that none
- 1:33:29of that ship could be made today, Like none of it, none of
- 1:33:32his comedy would work, none of it. So he's stuck doing that crap.
- 1:33:38I mean, he did a sequence of Coming to America. It was
- 1:33:41terrible. It was terrible. Remember the original Coming to America was great love.
- 1:33:47I loved the original Coming to America. It's probably probably one of Eddie
- 1:33:53Murphy's best I don't know, like it's that or or like forty eight Hours
- 1:33:56or like the Beverly Hills Cop like those are all fantastic, Like yeah,
- 1:34:01but yeah, So I was going to give this a try because it's Eddie
- 1:34:04Murphy, right, and well, I was gonna give the movie a try
- 1:34:09because it's Eddie Murphy. But I'm like two thirds of the Okay, First
- 1:34:13of all, the movie doesn't know what it wants to be. There's just
- 1:34:15too much going on, like it's afraid. Here's one of the things about
- 1:34:19current cinema that I've noticed. This is very different, especially the further back
- 1:34:24you go. The further back you go, movies were really confident. Like
- 1:34:30they didn't. They weren't constantly you know, jumping look at me, look
- 1:34:34at me, look at me, look at me. They were confident of
- 1:34:38maintaining your attention. So there was this quality of Okay, I'm not going
- 1:34:44to worry about whether or not you go. I've got your attention. I'm
- 1:34:48gonna tell my story. And that confidence was compelling, you know, like
- 1:34:54Alfred Hitchcock's work and other stuff that we've been watching in the past had a
- 1:34:58confidence to it, to its storytelling, and right now there's this insecurity with
- 1:35:03movies where it feels like the people writing them are constantly throwing shit onto the
- 1:35:09screen to keep your attention out of the fear that you are going to wander
- 1:35:14away. And the problem with that is I think it creates the very situation,
- 1:35:18Like it's a negative spiral. It's creating the very situation that they're trying
- 1:35:21to avoid. So I'm watching this movie and so much is happening, and
- 1:35:26I'm not getting engaged in it because it isn't properly set up. The emotional
- 1:35:30stakes aren't there. It's just new novel crap to look at. And I'm
- 1:35:33like, I just basically stop watching about half an hour in real picked it
- 1:35:41up at the end and it's like we scanned through the part that we missed
- 1:35:46and I'm like, well, there's nothing in there. It doesn't like the
- 1:35:51pacing, the amount of stuff, things are not established. I'm like,
- 1:35:55this is just chaos, yep. And it hasn't. There's nothing really polytical
- 1:36:00in it, just like, yeah, it's just I guess it's just like
- 1:36:03ADHD material, like they're just storing shit at you and there's no you know,
- 1:36:09you were talking about how older movies were more confident. I think that
- 1:36:13when you had and I'm not blaming special effects because I think special effects can
- 1:36:17be very useful to enhance things. But they're not a crush. They're supposed
- 1:36:21to enhance something that's already good, like that does a good foundation. But
- 1:36:27I'm reminded of movies that had, like, you know, very small budgets,
- 1:36:31a small number of cast members of really solid script and really good performances,
- 1:36:36and that was it, like some of the best if you watch an
- 1:36:39old black and white movie, you know, like some old like Humphrey Bogart
- 1:36:44or what's his name? You know, I could have been a cadenda,
- 1:36:48you know, like those are good like people like you know, you think
- 1:36:53it's like, oh, you know this, we're just supposed to like it
- 1:36:56because it's old. No no, no, they're well made, like they're
- 1:36:59well performed, they're very quotable, like they're good, you know, I
- 1:37:04mean, it's not as old. But I was just talking about my favorite
- 1:37:08Christmas movie, Diehard, and you know, it's solid, like it's just
- 1:37:15good movie. It doesn't it's it's not a big budget it's it's you know
- 1:37:18it. You know, there was heart and there was confidence in the storytelling.
- 1:37:25It was part of the confidence in the story Part of the confidence I
- 1:37:28think honestly is they felt like they were creating stories for an audience of people
- 1:37:34who liked people. That makes sense. So you present something that people are
- 1:37:40going to be interested in the characters that you're presenting, right that they're gonna
- 1:37:45they're gonna wait to discover the mysteries of these people that you're presenting, you
- 1:37:49know what I mean. And there there's I think a distaste to people in
- 1:37:59and the people you're presenting don't have to be great people like I mean,
- 1:38:01like look at Vertigo. I mean a lot of the people they're not great
- 1:38:08people, you know, but they were still interesting because there was that human
- 1:38:11connection. Oh so you could character the characters were not nice characters. Yeah,
- 1:38:16yeah, they weren't nice characters, but there was still some element of
- 1:38:19a human connection. Yeah, you felt like they were real people, like
- 1:38:23they they were real people, and that was interesting because of that. Yeah,
- 1:38:28and now that's like you can't let it's it's like we they Hollywood cannot
- 1:38:33let people be real anymore. They aren't people. They are messages, you
- 1:38:41know, their vessels or the message that's it. And and they're empty.
- 1:38:46And and that's the thing about Eddie Murphy that's so sad, because I'm sure
- 1:38:50he's still got like good stuff in him. He just needs to work with
- 1:38:54the white people. He should call a Ben Stiller. I think Ben Steler
- 1:38:57still has some good He directs good move these. He could probably still do
- 1:39:00a couple more good comedies because like, if any Murphy works with like you
- 1:39:04know, Netflix or Disney, he's just gonna pump out crap. Like you've
- 1:39:09got to go with like talented people, and there aren't a lot of them
- 1:39:12left. There aren't no well not talented storytellers. And part of the problems
- 1:39:15not the ones that get jobs. Mean there there isn't. Like the funny
- 1:39:20thing is, and I'm sorry that I'm moving around a lot like this and
- 1:39:24probably it's affecting the sound, But tell me if it is, because I'm
- 1:39:28moving to look at I got multiple screens here with stuff that I'm investing in.
- 1:39:33Yeah, and I know that that might be really bad for my mic,
- 1:39:38So just tell me, correct me if there's a big problem here.
- 1:39:41But and I know that the the sound spurgs will be jumping all over that.
- 1:39:46But anyway, like there's a there. As much as these individuals think
- 1:39:53that they're writing character, or that they're good at character, or they're good
- 1:39:57at like slice of life whatever, or just looking an examining character, they
- 1:40:00aren't. They're actually terrible at it because the distaste for other human beings and
- 1:40:08the way other people process things, and the inability to extend themselves to understand
- 1:40:14people who think differently than themselves, it comes through. So they don't like
- 1:40:18people. They don't like the mental processes of other people. They're suspicious of
- 1:40:25them. They are tribalistic and xenophobic when it comes to the mental processes of
- 1:40:30anybody who doesn't resemble them mentally or at least resemble the virtue signaling that they're
- 1:40:35presenting. And there's xenophobic about that is there's no other word for it.
- 1:40:40They're literally xenophobic for men or for people men, yes, but for people
- 1:40:45whose mental processes don't resemble their own, and their own is very much defined
- 1:40:49by virtue singling, gang colors and very simplistic understandings of morality. So they
- 1:40:57don't like people and it comes through. They don't like people at all,
- 1:41:01and it comes through. And it's really difficult to watch something that is an
- 1:41:06expression of misanthrope misanthropy and also like this this kind of cynical meta stuff,
- 1:41:17like you know, like the characters know that they're in a story that's that
- 1:41:21can get really it's just it's grating, it's great, you know, there's
- 1:41:27a way to do it. Well. I was definitely okay, uh oh,
- 1:41:36I'm blanking on the name blanking, Okay, I'm gonna I's just gonna
- 1:41:41get that name out. Wayne's World, Wayne's World. Yes, yes,
- 1:41:46yes, that was a good meta. That's a good pee wee heard but
- 1:41:56that but like they don't do but that meta has its core, like an
- 1:42:01enjoyment of psychology. Like that's the brig right, the really great writers,
- 1:42:08the celebration of what of of of what it is, not of its human
- 1:42:13but not just not just the good parts, also the bad parts, but
- 1:42:16being able to take a character that's unlikable on the surface and start to like
- 1:42:24peel them away. And when they meet Alice Cooper, we're still talking about
- 1:42:30Wayne's world. I was what were you talking about? Oh, I was
- 1:42:34just talking. They do they do it, powers does it a little bit
- 1:42:38too when they talk about time travels, Like Austin is saying, well,
- 1:42:43what if I go back in time and I meet myself? And and He's
- 1:42:45like, just forget about all that show yourself. You know, yeah,
- 1:42:54I still waste time on the making sense of the time ship. Just have
- 1:42:57fun you too as well? Well, you know it's great. But it's
- 1:43:02like they're these are really likable characters, and you can tell the writers like
- 1:43:05them too. And what I'm trying to get at is that there's no real
- 1:43:12human truth and there's no sense of confidence in what they're saying, and there's
- 1:43:17no real exploration of character because they're credibly limited in their ability to model other
- 1:43:23minds, like the instant you model another mind. Their entire moral landscape collapses
- 1:43:29because they have to understand why people come to the conclusions that they do,
- 1:43:32and they have to actually extend themselves to sympathize with that. That's what a
- 1:43:38writer does. A writer's skill main skill is their ability to recurs, which
- 1:43:45is to tell a story and then tell a story from this point of view,
- 1:43:48and that point of view and then tell the story within a story,
- 1:43:53you know, so you see what I'm getting at, Like, there's there's
- 1:43:55so many characters, and the better the writer is, the more of the
- 1:44:00story that they can reveal through through different perspectives, which means they can model
- 1:44:03those different perspectives in their mind. They can't do that because the instant they
- 1:44:09model those different perspectives in their mind, they become morally outcast. Can you
- 1:44:15see what I'm saying. Because they aren't allowed to understand other people's thought processes.
- 1:44:19That's why they're terrible writers. Yeah, okay, sometimes you can find
- 1:44:25one that's just really good at that, but crazy for whatever reason. Their
- 1:44:30particular brand of artistic insanity is intersectionality. That's rare. This is what I've
- 1:44:36noticed. That's why you know, Commis can do some really good art.
- 1:44:40It's because they've put all their garbage into communism and then they put they push
- 1:44:45it away and then do the art. Okay, that can happen, but
- 1:44:49for the most part, if you're not an absolute genius and you're not using
- 1:44:54your weird hang up, you know, intersectionality as your weird hang up like
- 1:45:00you're It's almost like artists sometimes need some crazy shit that they believe as like
- 1:45:05a as A as A as a foundation, something they can hold on to
- 1:45:10while they go absolutely insane with their creativity. Does that make sense? It's
- 1:45:15like but but it's just like the thing that they hold onto is madness,
- 1:45:19and you should not base any kind of political system around it. Okay,
- 1:45:25you really shouldn't agree with the politics of creatives for the most part, except
- 1:45:30mine. You can agree with mine. But anyway, what I want to
- 1:45:34try to get at is just a lot of them they as soon as they're
- 1:45:38able to understand how other people think, how other people come to the conclusions
- 1:45:42that they do, they are apostate within their system. You get what I'm
- 1:45:45saying, right, Yeah, because they can't they cannot agree. They can't.
- 1:45:50How would they be able to write a Trump supporter. How would they
- 1:45:54be able to write some rom they create a Okay, I guess they have
- 1:46:03an idea in their head of what that person is like, but it's they
- 1:46:08have they dehumanize them. It wouldn't be not just a Trump supporter, just
- 1:46:12like an m R. See like a men's activist or a Trump supporter,
- 1:46:16or a or a person in the South. I mean you see, like
- 1:46:21I live here in Virginia and I see people and I'm like, you know,
- 1:46:28rednecks in real life are nothing like redneck in the movies, Like,
- 1:46:31nothing like them. It's it's so it's obvious that these people who write this,
- 1:46:36they like live in like coastal cities, they don't really like get out
- 1:46:41very much, and they operate under a bunch of presumptions or whatever John Stewart
- 1:46:45or Bill Maher told them about Southern people, and that's what they put And
- 1:46:48that's why when you see it, it's like, I know what you're going
- 1:46:51for, but that's not what people are like. Only people who grew up
- 1:46:56there will be able to do it properly, and you know, or or
- 1:46:59or are willing to be to learn about it. I guess, you know,
- 1:47:03I think that it's but that's the point, Like they can't to learn
- 1:47:10about people not like yourself. Yes, yeah, this unwillingness, it's a
- 1:47:14xenophobia. It's an unwillingness to learn or understand people who think differently than you.
- 1:47:18Yeah, And because of that, they don't understand character and in fact,
- 1:47:24they don't really understand why they think the way they do, so they
- 1:47:27can't even express their own process very well. So you have these like like
- 1:47:32these very constipated stories, and then it all becomes about how much CGI can
- 1:47:40we get on the screen, how much weird novelty can how much you know,
- 1:47:44like meta references many how many obscure ways can we create, like I
- 1:47:50don't know, the Disney Cinematic universe make these kind of like connections that nobody
- 1:47:56asked for and nobody cares about. You know, it becomes about that instead
- 1:48:00of the way that they structured older film, which was we're going to talk
- 1:48:04about these characters and that's going to be interesting to you because you are interested
- 1:48:09in people who think differently than you and how they process the world and what
- 1:48:14choices they make, you know, And they can't do that because they just
- 1:48:17they fail, Like a lot of Hollywood writers right now absolutely fail on the
- 1:48:23level of being able to construct character. A lot of writers period now,
- 1:48:28like what they're pushing out fail on the level of being able to construct character.
- 1:48:32And it's like I said, anything, it goes down to that that's
- 1:48:36sort of deep misogyny or not misogyny, deep misanthropy, misogyny and miss miss
- 1:48:45injury. It's like that miss misanthropy. Yeah, and that willful denial that
- 1:48:54anybody could have any kind of humanity, and that you have to humble yourself
- 1:49:01before the humanity of other people and how they process the world. No,
- 1:49:06you can sit in your self righteous little cubicle judging everyone who isn't you and
- 1:49:14considering them contemptible. Well, that's not a position to be a good writer
- 1:49:18from. I mean no, actually it is, But it isn't, you
- 1:49:21know, because there's a lot of writers throughout history who sort of did that,
- 1:49:27and yet they could still their genius somehow overcame. There's enophobia. I
- 1:49:31don't know, you know what, take what. Take what you will from
- 1:49:36what I have said, I have said it. That was a thing that
- 1:49:42was said. I don't I don't want to like get this through because I'll
- 1:49:45talk about movies like and character and stories. Yeah, I just because I
- 1:49:50don't get to watch them. I haven't watched them in a while. But
- 1:49:55you should join us on the patron disorder discord when we're watching all of this
- 1:49:59stuff we've been. Yeah, it's just the timing is doesn't work for me.
- 1:50:02Oh yeah, is this quite late? Yeah, Like I'm just too
- 1:50:08busy at that moment. If you're listening and you'd like to enjoy watching movies
- 1:50:15with older movies with us another movies today that seem a bit better than the
- 1:50:18drafts that's coming out, then you know you could come join us in our
- 1:50:25discord Badgerination Dot online. All right, so is there any anything? Let
- 1:50:30me look, I don't think there's any more super Chows or anything like that.
- 1:50:36Well, actually there is. There is one. Well for some reason,
- 1:50:42I didn't see it pop up, but I'll read it out anyways.
- 1:50:45So Richard Bierre gives us five dollars and says, are you disappointed that the
- 1:50:50real life Rednecks are meeting your preconceived expectations? Brian, I'm not disappointed.
- 1:50:56I mean I didn't really expect it to like live up to what people assumed,
- 1:51:00and it wasn't just like what I saw in media. Like literally,
- 1:51:02when I was telling people that I knew that I was like moving to Virginia.
- 1:51:06I remember one guy he was like, You're going to Virginia and I
- 1:51:09was like yeah, and he's like, oh man, that's a hot bit
- 1:51:11of white supremacy. Then I get here and like there's there's about as many
- 1:51:15self loathing white people here as there are in Chicago. So it's like,
- 1:51:20no, that's not happening, like actually actually here and I'm in southwestern Virginia,
- 1:51:28which is not Richmond, but it's you know, it's still Virginia.
- 1:51:32It's very close to West Virginia. And there's a lot of mixed babies here,
- 1:51:36like it's pretty normal. I'm like, yeah, this, and I
- 1:51:40knew that. I knew that that person was like watching too much TV,
- 1:51:44you know, getting all this propaganda. Then you go there and it's like,
- 1:51:47yeah, they're basically just you know, simple folk basically you know,
- 1:51:51it's it really is. It's they're just they're just like they're just like me.
- 1:51:57It's crazy. So, I mean, there are a lot of Puerto
- 1:52:00Ricans here, but there are some mm. Okay, so shall we show
- 1:52:06we Yeah, we could wrap it up, Okay, So once again I'll
- 1:52:11just remind everyone we are doing our monthly fundraiser it feed the Badgery of dot
- 1:52:14com slash support. If you you know, put it in early, if
- 1:52:17you're if you're gonna help out again, very much appreciated, but it's always
- 1:52:21nice at this time to get it in a bit early so we don't have
- 1:52:25to you know bite our nails through the holiday season. No I don't.
- 1:52:31I'm sorry, I don't have any more Thank yous, but thank you again
- 1:52:35to the Grade indoors who put in one hundred dollars. Thank you. We
- 1:52:40have a ways to go, but it's great to have gotten that much further
- 1:52:44to it. So once again, feed the Badger dot Colm slash support to
- 1:52:47make sure that we can continue to create this content. I think it's pretty
- 1:52:51unique and deserves to continue because, you know, I think we approach this
- 1:52:57in very different ways. I know that our production isn't quite as polished as
- 1:53:00everyone else's, but I think that we've put a premium on trying to understand
- 1:53:04things rather than presenting an already prepackaged set of thoughts, which is why we
- 1:53:10don't necessarily agree with each other. I think me and Brian agree with a
- 1:53:13lot of what we both have to say, but me and Karen not so
- 1:53:16much. Me and Hannah. It could be fun to disagree with Anna because
- 1:53:24it feels like you're slowly being consumed by a sleep stream rope a steam war.
- 1:53:30Yeah, it's like you know that who framed Roger Rabbit? That scene
- 1:53:33where the wait, Yeah, it is a really good movie. It's another
- 1:53:43one with a lot of heart. That that's what older movies have. They
- 1:53:47have heart. They aren't saturated with this kind of xenophobia that we see in
- 1:53:53modern cinema anyway. So if you like to support the show, feed the
- 1:53:58Badger dot com slash support, and if you would like to tell us we're
- 1:54:00not screaming into the void, feed the badger dot com slash just the tip.

- 1:55:02made a video addressing the issue. I don't know, maybe look into it
- 1:55:05if you want. I would not download the app though, I mean,
- 1:55:10not intending to make friends with China, but you can probably watch the videos
- 1:55:14somewhere. It's on Twitter and stuff. And also, are you interested in
- 1:55:16this movie Miller's Girl? I am, Actually I think it is gonna be
- 1:55:20about false allegation, so I'm kind of like interested to see how they handle
- 1:55:25it and if they will actually go into like all of the potential damage that
- 1:55:29a false allegation can do, then that would be something. So anyway,
- 1:55:33and leave us a comment, and please please please share this video because sharing
