- 0:00Whatever, And now though, it's time to discuss these weird things that we
- 0:05do. I mean, is it weird? That's what we call it.
- 0:08We bring things up that you know, just seem a little odd but you're
- 0:10not sure, and then we just you know, we just really see.
- 0:13This is James is about seeing. So we had Double Check as a special
- 0:17guest show. What would you like to run through the ringer? That?
- 0:20Is it weird? Ringer? Is it weird? Pike that I don't care
- 0:23if I'm out at an establishment and I find a hair in my food.
- 0:26I just picked that boy out and I just keep eating. Really, Oh
- 0:29yeah, that's so funny you say that, don't care. I have no
- 0:32issue with it. Whatever. It doesn't even, it doesn't even I don't
- 0:35even think about unless someone mentions it to me. I'm like, oh hair,
- 0:38and I flick and they're like what did you just flick? And I'm
- 0:40like a hair and they're like, ooh. You know you didn't immediately call
- 0:44the police and have this place shut down. You didn't grab the plate and
- 0:47throw it against the wall as the food runs down, you're screaming, give
- 0:50me my new food. Oh. I didn't do any of that. I
- 0:53ate the food. Wow, Now it was delicious. Is there a line
- 0:55for you though, Like the type of hair what I mean, animal?
- 1:00You know what I'm saying. Length, Like if we're talking body hair versus
- 1:03head hair, can you tell, oh, there's a certain coarseness, well
- 1:07my beard hair. I mean, you just never know where it's coming from.
- 1:10Though. That's the other problem, Pike is. You know, sometimes
- 1:11I'll be just kind of like doing this move when I'm thinking really strong and
- 1:15scratching my chin and I got a beard. Yeah, sometimes I'll accidentally drop
- 1:19my own hair in my own food, So I don't know whose hair it
- 1:22is. If it's mine, why is my hair any better off or worthy
- 1:26to still eat the meal but someone else's is not. I agree with the
- 1:30head hair. Even yesterday I was having lunch and pulled out the longest I
- 1:34mean, it was in my mouth. You know you can feel it.
- 1:37Yeah, you start pulling, it just feels like it just goes forever,
- 1:38like one of those magicians those ribbons on their hat. Whoa. And I
- 1:46just pulled it out and I kept eating, and then I remember I brought
- 1:49it up and the person I was with was just like what you just thought
- 1:51I'm the same way. But now if we're talking like coarse, curly,
- 1:55dark hair much like my beard, hair, much like your beard. But
- 1:57obviously you're gonna assume the world, right you know how that would possibly happen.
- 2:02I don't know, you're gonna assume American pie situations, and then at
- 2:07that point I may ask for a new dish. Yeah, yeah, I
- 2:12just don't feel like it's uh, it's gonna, I mean, infect the
- 2:15whole plate. I mean, you likely you won't pass away, no doubt
- 2:20that I'd die. No, No, I don't. I'm gonna go not
- 2:22weird. That weird? Now? Is this weird? Is it weird that
- 2:25when I eat pasta I prefer it to be pretty pretty mushy, to the
- 2:30point of like darniar liquid, you know. And the reason I bring it
- 2:34up is because my wife, Laurens, she is so like she loves the
- 2:38phrase al dentelde pasta is the best. You guys just like saying it.
- 2:45That's all. You're just like her. She just wow. You know,
- 2:46first of that sounded like a derogatory remark because I'm just like her. Imagine
- 2:53being just like my wife. Boy's brutal. I feel, I feel lucky
- 2:57and blessed every day, Pike, lucky. She doesn't listen, isn't at
- 3:00this moment anyway. So every time it's like she's like, no, just
- 3:06don't let it go too long now, And I'm like this, this pasta
- 3:08is uncooked. This is law pasta. She's like, no, it's al
- 3:13dente. I'm like, I know, listen, I know you likes saying
- 3:15that word because you know what it means and it sounds cool. But we
- 3:20don't want to. There shouldn't be a crunch when I'm eating my spaghette.
- 3:23Fully agree. It should not be crunchy. Yet it should also not be
- 3:28when you have an entire bucket of spaghetti and it's just you try to spoon
- 3:32it out and it comes out all at once. It should not be all
- 3:35stuck together. Pike, I like a certain amount of mushu it. Okay,
- 3:38that is how I was raised. You know. It's one of those
- 3:40as an adult you ever think back to your childhood and kind of just it
- 3:45clicks. You're like, oh, okay, that's why I am the way
- 3:46I am. Yeah, but my stepmom would make the spaghetti and we always
- 3:50have on Christmas spaghetti, which is odd, but we do. And anyway,
- 3:53she's right. I love that. I told my mom I wanted to
- 3:54have lasagna first Christmas this year. I love a lazan. Oh, it's
- 3:59a heck of a holiday day. Why not? What I mean, whate
- 4:00else you're gonna go. You're doubling down on turkey. That's what my mom
- 4:02wanted to do. And I was like, why are we doing this?
- 4:04We have to stop the madness. Mom. I'm all about like an Easter
- 4:09turkey or something. You know, throw me a midsummer for the July turkey
- 4:13turkey twice a year. Good turkey within one month. It's ass Give me.
- 4:17There's no other spaghetti holiday, you know what I mean? There is
- 4:19it? I mean the feast of what is it? San Gennaro? But
- 4:23nobody knows what that is. I'm just learning of it now. In fact,
- 4:27in a minute in the morning, Big Natty eight point seven, you
- 4:29ever steal from a hotel? Yes? You do. You're that you You're
- 4:32a criminal, is what you're telling me. Absolute criminal. Wow, I
- 4:35had no IDEA little shampoo bottles and little soaps piked their mind. And once
- 4:41you agree though that those are sort of there for the taking, you know
- 4:44what I mean, because they're they're perishable, yeah, right, like they
- 4:46were gonna be used anyway, and they probably replace them. I don't know
- 4:48if Jassam or not, but I figure they would probably. It seems to
- 4:53me that they would. You ever get into, especially if it's a nice
- 4:55hotel. You're not getting into the shower, and you know, opening up
- 4:58a half used bottle of sham I was so little. I usually use it
- 5:01all in two days anyway, If I'm true, it's true. It's better
- 5:04bringing your own, that's for sure, But I tend to you know,
- 5:06there's always at least one towel that comes home in it really jack and pillows
- 5:11lately, pillows even too, well, if it's far away and I got
- 5:14a long drive. Sometimes if I forget a pillow at home, I need
- 5:16one. You're taking it from the hotel. You're sick, puppy you how
- 5:19many people have used these pillows? You were disgusted with me? Right?
- 5:23No, I really here, I'm about to tell you a mere twenty five
- 5:26percent of people have admitted to stealing from hotels, which I thought was a
- 5:30staggering number. What come to find I'm sitting across from the worst one of
- 5:33them all. Yeah, there's just just an absolute the head of the whole
- 5:36operation, Jeffrey Dahmer of pillows stealing. But now you're not alone, because
- 5:41they do say the most common items stolen from a hotel are the of course,
- 5:46shampoo and conditioners, bathrobes, towels, hangars, pens, batteries and
- 5:54cutlery. Ooh, batteries. That's a good idea. You're right, because
- 5:57that's a heck of it. Also perishable, right, they're gonna run out
- 6:00eventually. So what's stopping you from opening up that stupid alarm clock nobody's using
- 6:04anyway? Right, Well, I was thinking of the remote. Oh they're
- 6:08remote too. Yeah, get a couple of double a's out of there.
- 6:11Can you ever have enough? I'm always looking for a double a pike.
- 6:14There's one right here. I'm like, I could use this just once in
- 6:16my life. Hasn't at all? Would I like to say, Oh,
- 6:18what kind of batteries doesn't need double A? I have two right here,
- 6:21they're new. There you go, I'm taking I'm you know, taking one
- 6:28from the bedroom remote to put it in the new toy, you know,
- 6:31flipping them around. For some reason, if you reverse the batteries. There
- 6:34might be a little juice left in it one time. I'd like to have
- 6:40a stock of batteries by someday. But dare to dream. Pike, you
- 6:43ever stole in the bathroom now because I'm too big? They never fit?
- 6:47Oh man, you know you're just having teen JP what he is six?
- 6:51Sizeable guy? Yeah, sizeable, girthy if you're a girthy yeah, no,
- 6:56I'd like to get you in a bathroom. But you know what,
- 7:01we shouldn't be a lot that could be arranged. I know I've said this
- 7:04before, but when Amanda's gone, they should just don't unplug my music or
- 7:09something that's unplugged. It taking Amanda in the morning, dine seven ready,
- 7:15that's he is piping hot today, Amanda stills the sea was hot. Anyway,
- 7:23good morning, I'll be doing the tea for Amanda. You know,
- 7:25McCauley Culkin. A lot of people really haven't heard the guy talk since he
- 7:29was in Home Alone back in the day, and the other the other movies
- 7:30he was in, like Richie rich Pagemaster, remember that one. I do
- 7:34not no, not that one, the good Son. Maybe he wasn't in
- 7:38the page Master. He was played a murderer in the good sound what I
- 7:41know him? And Elijah Wood. Yeah, dude, it is a wild
- 7:44movie. Anyway, he's finally got his Hollywood Walk of Fame star. That's
- 7:47right, McCauley culkin etched in history in Hollywood and it was his thank you
- 7:53speech. A lot of people were like, what the heck. I haven't
- 7:56heard him talk in a long time, and I never thought he sounded like
- 8:00this. Here he is talking about his wife Brenda's song and thanking her and
- 8:03anyway, listen, you are absolutely everything. You're the only person happier for
- 8:07me today than I am. So Yeah. To wrap things up, and
- 8:11in the spirit of the holiday season, I just want to say, Merry
- 8:15Christmas. You fill the end. He did it. He did the thing
- 8:20from the movie. I love it. He didn't sound like the guy Merry
- 8:22Christmas. God, that's such a good I could go all day with the
- 8:26quotes. But believe he does sound I mean it's it's doesn't sound like him
- 8:31as a kid, that's for sure. But who else doesn't sound like It
- 8:35sounds like Michael Jackson talking, doesn't it, Which is a weird parallel given
- 8:39the fact that they were like good friends. You know Michael jam Maybe he's
- 8:43like trying to emulate him in a way. They were good friends, were
- 8:46they? That's that's the rumor. Buddies they hung out a lot. I
- 8:48don't know. I don't know what they were doing. Speaking of McAuley,
- 8:54cullick and Pike, he was in the Pagemaster along with look at this cast,
- 8:58Christopher Lloyd, Patrick Stewart, Whoopy Goldberg. Holy cow, what I'm
- 9:03gonna have to watch that bad Boy? That just seems like a winner.
- 9:07Ed Begley Junior, what are we doing with this film? That's really impressive.
- 9:11That's a heck of an no wonder. He's got a star in the
- 9:13Walk of Fame, Florence Pugue, who's a drill hot actress at the moment
- 9:18right. She's in the sequel of Dune, which was a big award winning
- 9:22film, Dune. Remember Dune. Dune? Yeah, well out during COVID
- 9:26Pike sure did well. Dune too is on the way her in the cast
- 9:31her out promoting it. It is a sequel, and so she was standing
- 9:33on stage like some sort of event. It was like a comic con type
- 9:37thing promoting the film. When suddenly she got hit in the face with what
- 9:41appears to be a shrimp and somebody just hucked a shrimp and it drilled her
- 9:48right in the face. Now the video, yeah, that's one of those
- 9:50things you can't help but laugh. I mean, she'll be okay, don't
- 9:52worry. Did she have a reaction where she was like, ah, it
- 9:56was just by the way, they haven't caught the who were the girl?
- 10:00Who didn't that be got you gotta yeah, it's a dude. Did it
- 10:03have any sort of cocktail, sauce or butter on it? There was no,
- 10:07There was no visible splatter. You know, maybe there was a light
- 10:11butter sauce, but no, no cocktail. Sounds delicious, I know,
- 10:15I'm so honestly, it would have been awesome if she would have sat coming
- 10:18and just open her mouth when you know what I love like, don't get
- 10:22me wrong, love going to the ocean and eating fresh shrimp. But I
- 10:26don't care give me that little stupid ring from the grocery store with the cocktail
- 10:30shifts, with the sauce in the middle, that whole thing. My god,
- 10:33there's no problem. Oh missus Swift Last night supporting her man yet again
- 10:39at the Packers game, that's right at historic lambeau Field and green Bay,
- 10:43Wisconsin, where the Chiefs, defending Super Bowl champions, by the way,
- 10:48were defeated by the Green Bay Packers, who are now suddenly the hottest team
- 10:52in the NFL. Anyway, good day for you, But I could go
- 10:56on as a Packer Fanily, let's talk about the fact that Taylor Swift got
- 10:58on a private jet from Kansas City. So this tells me that she's just
- 11:03staying, which she went from Kansas City to Green Bay. She's hanging at
- 11:07his place. Has he got a place there? Not in Green Bay?
- 11:11No, I mean in Kansas City. Yeah, so he just bought this
- 11:13new mansion. She's moved in with him, it appears, or at least
- 11:16temporarily. And so it's such a and you know, it's interesting. So
- 11:20she did fly this, you know, quick little trip to Green Bay,
- 11:22sat in the press box next to Brittany Mahomes. Didn't seem to smile once.
- 11:28Today. It's just to me, I got a weird vibe, you
- 11:31know what I mean. I've been saying it since the beginning. Pike it's
- 11:33all fake. I don't know. It's Here's an interesting theory that a friend
- 11:37of mine told me over the suggested over the weekend that she's just out there
- 11:41dating, having fun and maybe her plan was just to have a little fling
- 11:45with a football guy, and now the world and all of her fans are
- 11:48obsessed and it's such a public thing. Well, even if she wanted out
- 11:52at this point, if there was enough for her, you know, you
- 11:56can't. That's actually I'm kind of blown away by that theory, Pike.
- 11:58I feel like I need to reflect on it. That is a pretty good
- 12:01point, Like she feels like she can't break up with him now because now
- 12:03if you do now, you're gonna go immediately back after you've been in some
- 12:07long term relationships, you don't want to go back to the whole girl who
- 12:11just dates around and you know, breaks hearts, gets her heart broke and
- 12:13writes songs about it. I don't think she wants to go back to that,
- 12:16which is unfortunate. If that's the case, now, maybe they're happy,
- 12:18right, Maybe they're in love and they're gonna get married. I don't
- 12:22know. But to me, the vibe I got is she was sitting there
- 12:24next to Brittany Mahomes, and maybe that's the reason she was unhappy. I
- 12:26don't know. That woman does seem to be quite insufferable, I know.
- 12:30And she Okay, So they kept showing the press box and Brittany Malmes is
- 12:33leaning over, just talking and talking. Taylor Sweat is just like, why
- 12:37did I let this girl into my life? Oh, Amanda in the morning
- 12:41on Sage seven. You ever quit a job in like a very spectacular way?
- 12:48You know, we all fantasize about it. I was sure too.
- 12:50Yeah, I hate this place. I'm gonna walk out and tell everybody bleep
- 12:54you and bleep yeah and you. This guy's been stealing money from the Call
- 12:58for a spect anyway. So this guy he wanted to quit his job.
- 13:01Okay. Now, his job, though uniquely, is a prison transporter.
- 13:07Okay. So he's the one that loads up the inmates on the bus and
- 13:11transport them, you know, between prisons or what have you. And so
- 13:13while he was on one job driving prisoners from Orlando to North Carolina, he
- 13:18decided, I don't like this. I don't like this job. Maybe one
- 13:22of his superiors riding him, yep. Maybe he took a day off to
- 13:26go to his kids choir concert and his boss gave him a hard time.
- 13:30And he thought, I don't need this. I can get with my resume.
- 13:33Yeah, with my prisons a transporter, I could get a job anywhere.
- 13:37Any one of these prison systems isn't like you to have me. I
- 13:39could drive anything. So he decided, I'm not gonna stop in North Carolina,
- 13:45where I'm supposed to be dropping these prisoners off. I'm just gonna keep
- 13:48going. Interesting way to quit, just keep driving North. Just kept driving
- 13:52to run for the Canadian border, did he? Unfortunately? You know,
- 13:56i'mlike quitting your job. I'm assuming quitting his job as a felony. And
- 14:00so my man has been arrested and now charged with felony larceny and kidnapping.
- 14:07Yeah, dude's going to prison. Quitting your job is a felony. Now,
- 14:13let me ask you this. Yeah, okay, No, I don't
- 14:15want to not in a blanket sense, if you quit right now, James,
- 14:18I don't think we're throwing in the old Cast County slammer if you will,
- 14:22clanker. Yeah, but if you're doing prison stuff, possibly yeah.
- 14:26So would this be considered ironic that he's going to prison after quitting his prison
- 14:33inmate transport job. I have to call Atlantis Moore set I'm not sure about
- 14:35the I don't even know because she said she doesn't seem to have a grasp
- 14:39on it either. No, you know a lot of people have said over
- 14:41the years that her song none of those things are ironic. While a total
- 14:45banger, absolute classic in all time, nevertheless not ironic. Like in a
- 14:56Minute in the Morning on Big Nutty eight point seven. You know, sometimes
- 15:00you just wake up and something happens your day just gets off to a horrible
- 15:03start. I have noticed that you are, you feel you seem a little
- 15:07off today by well, I am. Something happened to me this morning that
- 15:11never has happened to me. And as soon as it did, well,
- 15:13one, I thought I was gonna die, and then two I thought,
- 15:16well the heck, that's a new way to have your day start off horribly.
- 15:18You know, a lot of time you can wake up, let's say,
- 15:20didn't sleep. Well, that's one. You wake up, you look
- 15:22at your phone it didn't charge for some stupid reason. Things like that,
- 15:26right, you step on a lego, walk into the bath. Oh the
- 15:28worst. Well, I got up and didn't sleep great. But the Packers
- 15:33won last night, so I was up late watching that incredible victory, feeling
- 15:37good, couldn't sleep, but you know I was willing to get past that
- 15:39because of the reason. Well, anyway, I get to the bathroom.
- 15:41Time to brush that stanky morning breadth out of my mouth. Right, So,
- 15:45we had just got this new toothpaste. It's got charcoal in it for
- 15:48some reason. You know, I have no idea what that does, but
- 15:50we call it is a superfood, Is that right? Yeah? So I
- 15:52get to the bathroom and I load up my toothbrush with this said toothpaste with
- 15:58charcoal in it. And as I put the brush up to my mouth,
- 16:00I don't know what happened. I must have inhaled violently at the perfect time
- 16:04because the gob of toothpaste, which was generous you like to cover that whole
- 16:08brush, Oh yeah, suddenly is in my throat. I inhale it directly
- 16:15down my throat pipe, and now I'm choking. The globule is vacuumed from
- 16:22the brush. Yeah, exactly, sucked down like a vacuum. How does
- 16:26that happen? No idea, and I had no idea to like the moment
- 16:30I realized it was the weirdest thing. It was like you know in movies,
- 16:32and they get shot and they don't realize and suddenly they put their hand
- 16:34on their stomach. Yeah, there's blood coming on. That was like that
- 16:37moment, I'm like, what happened? What am I feeling right now?
- 16:40Why is my throat on fire? I can't breathe because it was so generous
- 16:44of a glob that my windpipe is totally, you know, clogged. So
- 16:48I'm like choking, and I have to immediately tell myself, like, it's
- 16:51just toothpaste. You can't possibly choke to death from toothpaste. But then the
- 16:56burning comes in because the charcoal and whatever the heck else is in peroxide or
- 17:00whatever tooth baste is made up. And so I'm gagging, trying to like
- 17:04decide if I should throw up or what needs to happen, Like, what
- 17:08does happen if you swallow toothpaste? I don't know. I know it says
- 17:11you're not supposed to on the tube, but doesn't mean dire things. I
- 17:17don't know, And so I'm start gagging choking. Finally get be able to
- 17:19drink some water, but it's still is the worst taste in the world.
- 17:23How are you feeling now? How's the throat feeling? Out. It feels
- 17:26like my throat's on fire. It feels like I swallowed a razor blade.
- 17:30But hey, my breath has never smelled better tell you what, It's gonna
- 17:33last a lot longer now because it's down in the throat. You're just gonna
- 17:36be burping up that beautiful freshness all day. Absolutely a matter of fact,
- 17:38me, you should do it every day. It's kind of like the equivalent
- 17:41of you you ever gargle listerine, I have any kind of let try to
- 17:45let it seep down. You're still a little, just a little. It
- 17:48lasts a little bit longer, like it a minute in the morning. Come
- 17:52on, get up on Big seven trending. Now, here's what you need
- 17:57to know. Good morning, Pike and Amanda in the morning. Amanda's off
- 18:00today, so in for her. It's James, Thank you, Pike,
- 18:06Angar you welcome. NDSU blocked an extra point in overtime to defeat Montana State
- 18:11on Saturday, advancing to the quarter finals of the FCS football playoffs. I
- 18:15mean, there are just it's they're saying it's going down as one of the
- 18:18great plays in NDSU buys in football history. James, did you see the
- 18:23play? I didn't. Oh so yeah. In overtime, basically they scored
- 18:26a touchdown and they need the extra point, which is generally a gimme to
- 18:30you know, send it to double over time, and it just drills one
- 18:34of the Bison players in the arm. In fact, after the game I
- 18:37saw photo he had a well football wel n on his arm. So very
- 18:41excited the shape of laces on his arm. That's pretty cool. Yeah,
- 18:44yeah, yeah, I'd get that tattooed on before we goes away. Of
- 18:47course, not a bad idea at all. So they play next Saturday,
- 18:51South Dakota Coyotes one Saturday, the rivalry of all rivalries, Pike. So
- 18:56that now it's a Coyotes or Coyotes. I never know what. I think
- 19:00it's probably both. What do people normally say? I say coyotes. Yeah,
- 19:04I hear that too, But then it's like wiley coyote. Yeah,
- 19:08you know, what's the only other point I'm I'm abandoning all of my previous
- 19:14belief systems and I'm following you bike Or was it only that because of his
- 19:18wiliness? It's hard to say. Well, if South Dakota is wily enough,
- 19:22maybe someday they'll be called coyotes, but for now they're just coyotes.
- 19:26Yeah, it's just sad, sad. A West Fargo family is seeking the
- 19:30public to help in finding their service dog that is missing. Oh you saw
- 19:34the post. Cutest dog, adorable, horrible dog. The dog's name is
- 19:37Ruby. What a great name, not a bad name at all. Now
- 19:41it would be equally sad if the dog wasn't so darned cute without as cute
- 19:45of a name. To be clear, that's right, Pike. She's from
- 19:48the Osgood area and she only has her red service dog callar On. The
- 19:55family was told that she was seen around the Horse area earlier Sunday evening.
- 19:59And if you have any from you can check out the owner's post on our
- 20:00Big nightty at seven facebook page tough one. You know you hate that.
- 20:03It's a dog owner, especially service dogs, and I hope they find I
- 20:07know a lot of people are sharing it, and I hope they find Ruby
- 20:10soon. Let's find Ruby in her home. One man who's been arrested after
- 20:15crashing his vehicle into the Island Park pool in downtown Fargo. Come on,
- 20:22thinks an under construction. This is not gonna help that there was no water
- 20:27in there, right, No, no, no, that's I don't know
- 20:30when is that supposed to open? It's a big project. Was it next
- 20:33year? I thought it was probably, I would think next year. The
- 20:34single car accident happened at approximately two o four am on Sunday. Yeah,
- 20:38that's when it'll happen. A vehicle went through a fence surrounding the construction area
- 20:42of a pool, rolled into an unoccupied pool, unoccupied by water or humans.
- 20:49No good, nobody was swimming, thank god. You know, with
- 20:55these and they didn't say in the article. Obviously two four am Sunday.
- 20:57You assume you can't out like a medical situation, you don't know, but
- 21:02you could. But if the medical situation is some sort of induced by alcohol,
- 21:07nay, there's that too. Yeah, I mean if I was a
- 21:08betting Man pike, you know what I'm saying. The driver's name was Matthew
- 21:11Thomas, a forty two year old Fargo resident. Sounds like he's okay too,
- 21:15So that's good, All right? Good. I hope you didn't delay
- 21:18the pool construction. Oh man, that would stink. What if they got
- 21:21to fix the hole? They like collapse the I mean, there's already a
- 21:23hole because it's a hole for water to fill into, right, but that
- 21:26would really be you know, that he collapsed like one of the sidewalls or
- 21:30something like Thathing, Yeah, could be a nightmare, terrible Amanda in the
- 21:33morning on Big seven. You know the Santa Claus hotline. It's your direct
- 21:40line to mister Clause. If your kids have, you know, something they
- 21:42want to tell the jolly old fella. Maybe they want to tell him what
- 21:45they want for Christmas. You can call the Santa hot line at seven oh
- 21:48one four nine nine six nine zero three. It's really cool, James,
- 21:52because we actually got Santa himself to leave the voicemail and this is him,
- 22:00right, I mean, of course this is Santa Claus and you have reached
- 22:06my personal hotline. When you hear the tone, please leave me your Christmas
- 22:11gift wishes and holiday chair, and you leave your voicemail, you tell Santa
- 22:17what you want. So it's super cute. Kids can call all weekend.
- 22:18We have the voicemail blowing up and you know, always some interesting things like
- 22:22what they want. But also this youngster wanted to just tell Santa a little
- 22:26story. Chanta, my elf is really shilly. He likes to climb on
- 22:33trees, I believe talking probably about the elf on the shelf. This is
- 22:37the elf and the tree pip off of the tree. You just never know
- 22:40where that ELF's going to be. How does he get up there? It
- 22:41gets even sillier. Hang on. One time I had to put him in
- 22:45cinnamon, and then he bore all the lights of my Christmas tree and the
- 22:48little decor trees. It's really it's really shilly. Bah let me see them.
- 22:56A little bush mom chiming in at the end there that there might be
- 23:02a rashulf. I'm not sure, but I hope everything's fine. A little
- 23:06regard little chafing because of all the tree bark pike. Probably probably you know,
- 23:10the elf on the shelf, he's got to keep the legs covered nothing.
- 23:11A little cinnamon canceled. Yeah right, that was super cute feeling qualities
- 23:17of cinnamon. And then this sounds to be like a family, you know,
- 23:19collectively telling Santa Claus what they would like. Hot wheel, big popular
- 23:26one. Still to this day you say hot wheel bed one of the monster
- 23:30beds. Hot wheel big monster truck. I want master truck, big huge,
- 23:38so another big huge, mind, the bigger the better. It sounds
- 23:41I don't think with the monster truck. I don't think you could get a
- 23:44bigger or too big of a monster truck. I should say no, I
- 23:48haven't seen one yet. Nope, not at any point if I said,
- 23:51well, that's just too big. Sorry, he wants Santa suit. So
- 23:57if he sounds like there's like a fan. We have four first three all
- 24:00in on big monster trucks, and this one I believe was a can of
- 24:04soup. Soup. They we're gonna be good. We're gonna be game aany
- 24:11Klaus, they were gonna be good, adorable, candy clouds, many klowds.
- 24:19I good. The Santa Claus houtline is open at seven O one four
- 24:22nine nine six nine zero three. Have your kiddos give it a call.
- 24:26They'll love it and then you might even get to hear them on the radio
- 24:29the next day. How exciting that was? Adorable? My heart is warmed.
- 24:32Aren't you just feeling like bumped? In? Nice season? Staying with
- 24:38me and Doc like it a minute in the morning on Big Nuddy eight point
- 24:45seven. All through the holidays and all the year. Really we do something
- 24:49called the Big Christmas Witch. We're we're able to give back to families going
- 24:52through hard times locally. And so right now we have Megan on the phone,
- 24:57who her husband is going through very very difficult medical situations, and so,
- 25:03Megan, can you just get us up to date on what is going
- 25:06on with your husband Eric. When he was sixteen years old, he was
- 25:10diagnosed with a brain tumor and at that point it was a greade too.
- 25:12He had a brain surgery when he was sixteen, again at twenty one,
- 25:18and then he had a long break. We met, got married, had
- 25:22kids, and then right after my son was born, he had another seizure
- 25:27and we got the news that the tumor was growing again. He had his
- 25:30third brain surgery down at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, followed by radiation. Our
- 25:37family relocated to Rochester for six weeks. Now, Megan, you say your
- 25:40family, You guys have kids as well? Right yes, yep, right
- 25:42now? My kids are almost nine and five and a half. Okay,
- 25:47so there's still little and you're going through all this and if you don't mind
- 25:49me asking how old is your husband, he's thirty seven. Where are you
- 25:53guys at now with all of this? He was on a clinical trial in
- 25:56Houston Texas where he was flying down there every month and that was working until
- 26:00it didn't. That's when he had a pretty large brain hemorrhage. He was
- 26:04non responsive for a couple of days, and then they decided to do fourth
- 26:08brain surgery just to control the hemorrhage. That was not necessarily to remove the
- 26:14tumor because it was growing into parts of his brain that were too delicate to
- 26:18work on. Oh, Megan, this is just heartbreaking. We wanted to
- 26:22help out in any way we can, and with our big ninety eight point
- 26:25seven Christmas wish, what we're able to do is for you and your family
- 26:27to donate one thousand dollars for you guys to be able to use that for
- 26:32I'm sure what are just a mountain of medical costs, or maybe it's just
- 26:37for the holidays, just to you know, get the kids something special,
- 26:38get your husband something to lift his spirits. Anything we can do. But
- 26:41that's for you guys. Okay, that's amazing. Thank you so much.
- 26:45You are gotten so much support from the community, and this community is truly
- 26:49amazing, and I'm sure there's a lot of people listening right now that are
- 26:52a part of the community like you had mentioned and they want to give back
- 26:55this holiday season. So if they go to Big ninety eight point seven's Facebook
- 26:57page right now, you can hear this story and there is a donate button.
- 27:02One hundred percent of the proceeds that they donate to on that are going
- 27:04to go directly to you and your family. So we'll start it with a
- 27:07thousand dollars and hopefully people can you give in any way they can and make
- 27:11things just a little brighter for you guys this holiday. And you have a
- 27:15really good friend, your friend Stephanie Gabbery, who we actually gave a Christmas
- 27:18last year. I was gonna say, oh, that's really sweet of her,
- 27:22too, y, she definitely the exact same thing. Just know that
- 27:26you're in our thoughts and prayers and give those kiddos just a little extra love
- 27:32this holiday season. Thank you,
