  This week, we're joined by Tammy Bowsa.

  Originally from Argentina, Tammy grew up in Paraguay and
• 0:49
  Mozambique, where her parents served.
• 0:51
  Through the Church of the Nazarene, she studied
• 0:53
  intercultural studies, earned her MBA, and later served with
• 0:57
  Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in Jordan, working
• 1:00
  with local and refugee students. Since May 2025, she has served
• 1:06
  as the Regional NMI Coordinator for Eurasia.

  We are grateful to have Timmy with us this week as she shares
• 1:12
  about the five NMI priorities. Hi, this is Tammy.
• 1:19
  So yesterday we were talking about the first area of impact,
• 1:22
  which was prayer. Today we will talk about the
• 1:25
  second area of impact, which is engaging children and youth.
• 1:31
  We believe that the mission of God is for all ages, that God
• 1:35
  wants all of us to be involved in his mission, and that He
• 1:38
  wants all of us to learn about missions and missionaries and
• 1:42
  what the church is doing all around the world.
• 1:46
  First let's read 2 passages. So the first one is found in
• 1:50
  Matthew 1914 and it says, let the little children come to me
• 1:57
  and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to
• 2:01
  such as these. So in this passage we can see
• 2:05
  that God wants us to be involved in his Kingdom, that the Kingdom
• 2:10
  of heaven belongs to such as these, to the ones that are like
• 2:16
  children. So it's important from a young
• 2:19
  age to include children and learning about missions, that
• 2:23
  they know that they can be part of the mission of God and that
• 2:27
  God loves them and has a place for them as well and his
• 2:32
  mission. So there is a tool that is very
• 2:37
  helpful that can help you educate kids about missions.
• 2:43
  So NMI every Wednesday releases NMI Central.
• 2:49
  NMI Central is open to every single age and it shares about
• 2:55
  what God is doing in one area of the world.
• 2:57
  It shares a story, prayer requests, praises, and every
• 3:01
  first Wednesday of the month, it also releases Kids Kaleidoscope
• 3:07
  with the story that they're sharing that day in NMI Central.
• 3:11
  Kids Kaleidoscope. It's a children's activity that
• 3:15
  educates about missions about that specific country that the
• 3:20
  NMI Central is releasing that day.
• 3:22
  It can also educate about NCM Nazarene Compassion Ministries.
• 3:26
  It can educate about different ministries of the church,
• 3:30
  Alabama, educating children that they can be part of the mission
• 3:34
  of God. So this is a great way that you
• 3:38
  can educate children in Sunday school or in a special missions
• 3:42
  activity about missions. So to register for NMI Central,
• 3:48
  you just need to go to nazrin.org, select NMI, and then
• 3:53
  click on NMI Central. There will be a space that you
• 3:57
  can put your e-mail address and then they will send you Enemy
• 4:01
  Central every Wednesday. You can also find this in
• 4:05
  Spanish, in Portuguese and other languages as well.

  So please sign up and let's continue to involve children in
• 4:13
  learning about missions. And the second passage is found
• 4:17
  in first Timothy 412 and it says don't let anyone look down on
• 4:23
  you because you are young, but set an example for the believers
• 4:28
  in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.
• 4:34
  So we believe that it's important to involve youth in
• 4:37
  the mission of God. So if your church is planning to
• 4:40
  do a mission strip, please include your young people also
• 4:45
  in your enemy council or invite missionaries to come and share
• 4:49
  with your youth. It's important for young people
• 4:52
  to hear about the calling of God, and they can also be called
• 4:56
  to be in His missions. We don't know where God will
• 5:01
  call us. So I was called at a very young
• 5:04
  age. My calling started actually when
• 5:07
  I was a child, and I got confirmed several times when I
• 5:11
  was a teenager. When I attended a teens camp in
• 5:14
  Brazil, God confirmed what my calling was.
• 5:18
  And I know that God can continue to use different church events,
• 5:22
  mission trips, and other things to confirm the calling of young
• 5:27
  people. So let's give room for children
• 5:30
  and youth to learn about missions and be involved in
• 5:33
  missions because God wants every single age to be involved in His
• 5:40
  mission. Thank you for all that you're
• 5:43
  doing and including young people and children in Enemy.
• 5:48
  God is at work in every generation, and He will continue
• 5:53
  to be at work in every generation.
• 5:55

  you have allowed us to walk next to.

  Please guide us as we teach them about your mission, about

  missions all around the world, and help us to find creative

  ways that we can educate them about what you're doing and that

  we can allow them to be part of it.

  Give us creativity and new ideas of own ways that we can serve
• 6:31
  you better with every generation from the Church, with the
• 6:36
  adults, the young people, and the children.

  May we all work together for your Kingdom.
