SPEAKER_02: Why does he save in Bitcoin?
• 0:01
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, Saving Bitcoin, like what is that?
• 0:04
SPEAKER_02: So I looked at it and then I remember he said the federal like the money in your bank account isn't yours.
• 0:10
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, What?
• 0:11
SPEAKER_02: What do you mean my money?
• 0:12
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, wait, what do you mean the money in my account isn't mine?
• 0:16
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I'm getting direct deposits in my account.
• 0:21
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's mine.
• 0:22
SPEAKER_02: What do you mean it's not mine?
• 0:23
SPEAKER_02: So I started diving into it and I was like, the Federal Reserve is a private entity, but they literally control all of our monetary policies.
• 0:32
SPEAKER_02: What do you mean by this?
• 0:33
SPEAKER_02: Everything I knew was like wrong.
• 0:35
SPEAKER_02: I kind of had like an awakening of some sort.
• 0:37
SPEAKER_02: Like a yeah, I feel like every big corner goes through this.
• 0:40
SPEAKER_02: We're like, nothing is real.
• 0:41
SPEAKER_02: What am I gonna do?
• 0:42
SPEAKER_02: How do I move forward?
• 0:44
SPEAKER_02: Everything I knew was a lie, right?
• 0:46
SPEAKER_02: So I kind of felt like I was like spiraling in a way, but in a bit, right.
• 1:05
SPEAKER_01: And today we have Jamile, but most people know know her as Jamie.
• 1:11
SPEAKER_01: She's from Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, in 2022 with a BA in sociology and a minor in political science.
• 1:23
SPEAKER_01: Most recently, she worked as an engagement specialist at a local high school in Boston, where she helped students gain world real-world experience through community service and leadership opportunities.
• 1:33
SPEAKER_01: Outside of that, she creates content online about Bitcoin, personal mindset, and self-belief, entrepreneurship, authenticity, and sovereignty.
• 1:41
SPEAKER_01: Her goal is to help people better understand money, think for themselves, build lives rooted in freedom and ownership.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_01: And we are so excited and happy to meet you and get to know you.
• 1:52
SPEAKER_01: So, with that, hello, Johnny.
• 1:55
  SPEAKER_01: How are you today?
• 1:56
SPEAKER_02: I am a little nervous, but I'm doing really good.
• 1:59
SPEAKER_02: I'm excited to be here and just talk to you guys a little bit more and get to hear your guys' story and share my story as well.
• 2:07
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's gonna be a great, great conversation.
• 2:10
SPEAKER_01: Um, and no need to be nervous.
• 2:12
SPEAKER_01: I think we shared a little too.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_01: We're we're new to this podcast world as well.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_01: So um all of us are just putting ourselves out there.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_01: And I've seen some cool videos of you too, just being able to, you know, share your experiences and that authenticity really comes off to people in a positive way, I feel like.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_01: So I feel like you're having a great um, a lot of that um engagement in that way too, um, with your the people that you're getting to meet and your viewers and us.
• 2:41
SPEAKER_01: So that's why we're so happy that you're here.
• 2:43
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm a huge fan, Johnmy.
• 2:44
SPEAKER_00: Uh, I've been following you probably about close to a year now.
• 2:48
SPEAKER_00: I was just dive into your videos.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_00: And uh number one, I love how you're just like spitting wisdom in your car.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_00: Like, that's like the it's like I swear, like we're just like as real and authentic authentic as possible.
• 3:01
SPEAKER_00: It's like, dude, let me go and just drop this wisdom on the world right now.
• 3:05
  SPEAKER_00: I love it.
• 3:06
SPEAKER_00: Um, so uh you create content about Bitcoin mindset already.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_00: Like, what inspired you to start sharing online?
• 3:12
SPEAKER_02: Um, I would say just like trying to get out of my comfort zone.
• 3:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, like in real life, I have a minimal amount of friends, and I've always wanted to connect with people on a broader scale.
• 3:25
SPEAKER_02: And like YouTube was like my first dream ever when I was like 12, but I wanted to be a gamer.
• 3:29
  SPEAKER_02: That sounds really crazy.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_02: But I wanted to be the first girl gamer in FaceClan, if anybody knows what that is.
• 3:35
SPEAKER_02: Um, but like that didn't work out, obviously.
• 3:38
SPEAKER_02: And I don't know, I just I've always had so many ideas, and I've always felt like I'm scared to share them.
• 3:45
SPEAKER_02: I don't know really know how to share them or where to.
• 3:48
SPEAKER_02: And one day I was just like, let me just try YouTube.
• 3:51
  SPEAKER_02: Like, why not?
• 3:51
SPEAKER_02: I'm not losing anything out of it.
• 3:53
SPEAKER_02: If anything, I could gain more out of it.
• 3:55
SPEAKER_02: So let me just do this.
• 3:57
SPEAKER_02: And my goal has always been to connect with like-minded people, and I feel like I'm doing that little by little, and the more I'm myself, I see that other people that are like me connect with me.
• 4:08
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, yeah, that's so good.
• 4:11
SPEAKER_01: I love I it's I think one thing that we've learned as we've like grown, been growing up.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_01: I still feel like we're always gonna be growing up, but um yeah, you really do have to take uh um opportunities as they come and you just gotta go for it sometimes, even if it's uncomfortable, you just gotta try it.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_01: And what's the worst that can happen?
• 4:31
SPEAKER_01: You know, like no, and someone says no or they don't watch it or whatever, but like at least you're doing something intrinsically motivated to help you move forward.
• 4:39
SPEAKER_01: And I think that's a that's a really important thing to learn in this day and age for sure.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_01: And I loved hearing your bio about how you've been really working with, you know, kids in the local community.
• 4:50
SPEAKER_01: Um, being that I'm a teacher, I think so much um kids can really learn from the Gen Z uh generation, I would say.
• 4:59
SPEAKER_01: And so being that you've sh had some impact on that younger generation, have you ever had someone tell you that your content really changed the way they think, either about money or life or anything like that?
• 5:09
SPEAKER_02: Um yeah, it's actually surreal to me as well, because like I'm just a normal person, just like you.
• 5:14
SPEAKER_02: I just I just decide to put my thoughts online.
• 5:18
SPEAKER_02: Um, I've had a lot of people, not a lot, but I've had a couple people DM me on Instagram and even like comment on my videos from around the world, like saying, You literally just changed my life.
• 5:28
SPEAKER_02: Like, I finally understand what this is.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_02: I've been trying to learn for years, now I see it.
• 5:33
SPEAKER_02: Um, I've had someone say, like, you completely changed my life.
• 5:38
SPEAKER_02: Like, you don't know how much this means to me.
• 5:40
SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, whoa, like that's like such a big compliment.
• 5:43
SPEAKER_02: What do you mean I completely changed your life?
• 5:46
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 5:47
SPEAKER_02: I I feel like I understand what they mean because that's sort of like how I feel when I look at other people that inspire me.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_02: So it's really a blessing, and I feel like inspiration is like one of the highest acts one could do in this world, I feel.
• 6:01
  SPEAKER_02: So I don't know, it's really like touching in a way.
• 6:05
  SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
• 6:07
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, gosh, like the fact that you can hear your those words just say, like, hey, you completely changed my life.
• 6:14
SPEAKER_01: Like that one person's life, whether it's a bunch of people, right?
• 6:17
SPEAKER_01: But to know that you you positively impacted one person is such a blessing to be in this world.
• 6:23
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
• 6:23
SPEAKER_01: It's so um, you know, there's a lot of doom, doom and gloom in the, you know, in the news online, you know, and then when someone can kind of change their mindset and be introduced to someone or you know, stumble upon a video that can completely change their life.
• 6:40
SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, like what a blessing.
• 6:43
SPEAKER_01: You know, this technology world can be kind of scary, right?
• 6:46
SPEAKER_01: It could be, you know, intimidating, it could be really negative, but there's so much positive too, you know, there's so much good that can come out of it as well.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_01: So that is really cool to hear.
• 6:56
SPEAKER_00: With your videos, I know you for sure impacted and inspire people.
• 6:59
SPEAKER_00: You know, I get inspired.
• 7:00
SPEAKER_00: I love the way that you communicate and connect with people.
• 7:03
SPEAKER_00: Um, like that's just I was like, man, we gotta have, we gotta have her on the on our podcast.
• 7:07
SPEAKER_00: For when it for like for when it comes to like Bitcoin and connecting with all this younger generation, is there like a moment where things just click for you with Bitcoin?
• 7:16
SPEAKER_00: Like uh, like was it like a book, a podcast, or like what how did that kind of come into play?
• 7:22
  SPEAKER_02: There's multiple parts.
• 7:24
SPEAKER_02: The condensed version is um uh I was always a Chris Johnson fan, like I've always seen his content.
• 7:34
SPEAKER_02: Um, back in 2020 when the world shut down, I was like, what's the stock market?
• 7:38
SPEAKER_02: And then I kind of dabbled into that.
• 7:40
SPEAKER_02: Um, unfortunately, fortunately, unfortunately, I'm not gonna say unfortunately because this did get me started.
• 7:47
SPEAKER_02: November 2020, the first cryptocurrency I ever bought was XRP.
• 7:51
SPEAKER_02: I know Sean was like in the last episode.
• 7:54
SPEAKER_02: Fortunately, I didn't go into the XRP hole.
• 7:56
  SPEAKER_02: I did.
• 7:57
SPEAKER_02: Um, that was the first coin I bought.
• 8:00
SPEAKER_02: And it's so funny now that I'm like on the other side because I understand why people buy it.
• 8:05
  SPEAKER_02: It's cheap.
• 8:06
SPEAKER_02: You're like, oh, I could get more of this because it's cheaper.
• 8:09
SPEAKER_02: Not really knowing like what you're holding, right?
• 8:11
SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, I got into XRP.
• 8:14
SPEAKER_02: I didn't know Chris or his content at this time.
• 8:17
SPEAKER_02: Um fast forward like spring 2021 or summer 2021, I was in everything.
• 8:24
SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, I was in meme coins, I was a big Ethereum fan, like I had my own ENS, I was jammule.eth, like I was doing everything and anything to get my money up.
• 8:36
SPEAKER_02: Like you you seen it, I had it.
• 8:40
SPEAKER_02: Um I was literally just dabbling into everything.
• 8:46
SPEAKER_02: Um, and I think I I don't remember when it was, but I remember I bought Bitcoin, I think it was July 2021 on Coinbase.
• 8:56
SPEAKER_02: I have that screenshot somewhere, and I bought it, but I didn't know what it was, right?
• 9:01
SPEAKER_02: And then maybe a few months later I started seeing Chris talking about it, and I'm like, okay, like what is he talking about?
• 9:08
SPEAKER_02: I see he keeps tweeting about it.
• 9:10
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, you haven't been wrong about anything else, but like I have to verify things for myself, and I don't want to just follow people to follow people, right?
• 9:16
SPEAKER_02: Because that's important, you have to do your research.
• 9:19
SPEAKER_02: Um I was just doing that, I was like, what is he talking about, right?
• 9:24
SPEAKER_02: And then fast forward a little bit, I kind of fell into the rabbit hole where I was like, Oh, I don't want to touch Bitcoin because I started reading into it and I'm like, the CIA created it, like nobody knows this, but I I was one of those people where I was like, the CIA created it, I'm staying away from it.
• 9:43
SPEAKER_02: Like I'm not I'm so good, I'm not touching this because they're gonna take my money and they're gonna rug pull me, right?
• 9:51
SPEAKER_02: And I didn't at this time I obviously didn't understand it because if I did I would understand it's open source and it's decentralized, right?
• 9:57
SPEAKER_02: Like there's no way, and even if they did create it, they still can't really do anything, right?
• 10:02
SPEAKER_02: Um so I was like, I'm good.
• 10:05
SPEAKER_02: So I've rested from crypto from like 2022, 2023, and then I remember I think like I was still kind of like interested, right?
• 10:15
SPEAKER_02: Cause like that, those inklings never go away.
• 10:18
SPEAKER_02: So it was like um yeah, it was I think it was like a couple months before December 2023.
• 10:24
SPEAKER_02: I saw Chris tweet that he sold his house for Bitcoin.
• 10:28
SPEAKER_02: I was like, okay, he's either crazy or he knows something that I don't know.
• 10:33
SPEAKER_02: Because who in their mind is gonna sell their house for Bitcoin, right?
• 10:37
SPEAKER_02: Like it sounds crazy when you think about it.
• 10:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but then I was like, okay, like there has to be something there.
• 10:42
SPEAKER_02: I'm not seeing something correctly.
• 10:43
SPEAKER_02: So I started doing my research and I stumbled upon this video of this guy.
• 10:47
SPEAKER_02: I wish I could remember his name or the video, but he was basically saying, like, why does he save in Bitcoin?
• 10:52
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, Saving Bitcoin, like what is that?
• 10:56
SPEAKER_02: So I looked at it, and then I remember he said the federal, like the money in your bank account isn't yours.
• 11:04
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, What?
• 11:06
SPEAKER_02: What do you mean, my money?
• 11:08
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, Wait, what do you mean the money in my account isn't mine?
• 11:12
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I'm getting direct deposits in my account.
• 11:16
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's mine.
• 11:18
SPEAKER_02: What do you mean it's not mine?
• 11:19
SPEAKER_02: Um so I started diving into it, and I was like, the Federal Reserve is a private entity, but they they literally control all of our monetary policies.
• 11:30
SPEAKER_02: What do you mean by this?
• 11:31
SPEAKER_02: Everything I knew was like wrong.
• 11:33
SPEAKER_02: I kind of had like an awakening of some sort, like uh, yeah, I feel like every bitcoiner goes through this.
• 11:39
SPEAKER_02: We're like, nothing is real.
• 11:40
SPEAKER_02: What am I gonna do?
• 11:41
SPEAKER_02: How do I move forward?
• 11:43
SPEAKER_02: Everything I knew was a lie, right?
• 11:44
SPEAKER_02: So I kind of felt like I was like spiraling in a way, but in a good way, right?
• 11:49
SPEAKER_02: Um and I remember that December 2023, I saw Bitcoin go from like 20,000, and I was like, okay, I'm gonna wait for it to go lower before I like actually go in.
• 12:02
SPEAKER_02: Because by this time, I kind of already knew what it was, and it things were connecting to it.
• 12:07
SPEAKER_02: So I was like, okay, I gotta do something, but I'm gonna wait for the price to go lower, right?
• 12:13
SPEAKER_02: January goes by, it's going up little by little.
• 12:16
SPEAKER_02: February goes by, it's going up, and then March 2024, I just saw it go to$64,000.
• 12:22
SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh my god, I can't wait anymore.
• 12:23
SPEAKER_02: I have to go in.
• 12:24
SPEAKER_02: So I literally sold all my ETH, all my all my um meme coins, literally everything, but mostly all my ETH.
• 12:32
SPEAKER_02: And I just went all in on Bitcoin.
• 12:34
SPEAKER_02: I was like, I'm not save, I'm not wasting any more time.
• 12:37
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna go all in on this.
• 12:38
SPEAKER_02: And yeah, ever since that day, I was like, I'm not playing with anything else, I'm good where I am, and yeah, that's literally what happened.
• 12:48
SPEAKER_02: And as the more I started learning about Bitcoin, I was like, I'm really glad this I did this decision because not only am I saving in hard money, I'm doing it for my future, right?
• 13:01
SPEAKER_02: Like right now, things may I'm like pre-rich right now, right?
• 13:05
SPEAKER_02: Like I'm not seeing the fruits of my labor yet, but I know that this is delayed gratification, and later I'm gonna be able to enjoy it.
• 13:13
SPEAKER_02: So I started telling everybody, I was like, you need to learn about Bitcoin, you need to do this, you need to do that, and everybody's like, You okay?
• 13:21
SPEAKER_02: Yes, just listen, please, just listen.
• 13:24
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, yeah, that's pretty much it.
• 13:29
  SPEAKER_04: That's so good.
• 13:30
SPEAKER_01: That is such a good story.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, that's so good.
• 13:34
SPEAKER_01: And I love your honesty because I think so many people can relate to the process of you getting into Bitcoin because I Anthony kind of navigated that too, going into different coins and all of that.
• 13:46
SPEAKER_01: And so when he was kind of sharing with me, again, I was kind of late to the bandwagon or late to the late to the rabbit hole over here.
• 13:54
SPEAKER_01: Um, and he would tell me, like, you know, I'm doing this coin, I'm doing this coin, and he's like, Bitcoin.
• 13:59
SPEAKER_01: And then all of a sudden his like eyes popped out of his head, and then he like just transferred everything over.
• 14:06
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, okay, like, got it, you know.
• 14:08
SPEAKER_01: And he was like you, super passionate, trying to tell me everything, you know, and I'm like, whoa, bro, are you okay?
• 14:14
SPEAKER_00: You know, like are you gonna are we I was just like throwing an up on some Yeah, basically, so I get it.
• 14:21
SPEAKER_01: I get, I get the re I get to see like both sides, right?
• 14:24
SPEAKER_01: So now that I'm like really understanding it more and and understanding the money system more too, it's it's very like eye-opening to like the lies.
• 14:34
SPEAKER_01: It's almost like an existential crisis, if you will.
• 14:37
SPEAKER_01: Like you feel like, wait, like what's actually happening like in this existence right now, like what we've been taught so many things so for so long, and these values that are you know, that you know, money values and things like that could are just opposite of what is true, like in base of what we shared, right?
• 14:54
SPEAKER_00: I just think it's wild how no one teaches us about money.
• 14:57
  SPEAKER_01: I know.
• 14:58
  SPEAKER_00: No one.
• 14:58
SPEAKER_00: It's like it's like and you have the best tweet.
• 15:01
SPEAKER_00: I need to just share this like you share something where like we we need to stop calling it uh the system's broken because its design is working perfectly the way it's supposed to be.
• 15:12
  SPEAKER_00: It's not even broken.
• 15:13
SPEAKER_00: We need to stop saying that, dude, that's so good.
• 15:16
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's so good.
• 15:17
  SPEAKER_01: That is so good.
• 15:18
SPEAKER_01: It's it's it's working exactly how they want it to be.
• 15:20
  SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
• 15:21
SPEAKER_01: Like you said, it totally.
• 15:23
SPEAKER_01: Um, so based on the kind of how you when you started like, you know, orange pilling or you know, or just sharing so much more about Bitcoin, what was maybe the weirdest reaction you got from someone when you like told them about Bitcoin?
• 15:37
SPEAKER_02: Well, my cousin says I'm in a cult.
• 15:40
SPEAKER_02: Like a cult, but she's like joking but not joking.
• 15:44
SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't like I don't take offense to it because like yeah, we kind of have like that relationship where she's just like, Oh, there you go again.
• 15:52
  SPEAKER_02: I'm like, Yes, I do here I go.
• 15:55
SPEAKER_02: But um, I haven't really had any like weird, weird reactions about it, or like I mean I've had people say like online, like, oh like you're crazy, you're in this cult, you're you don't know what you're talking about, you're too young, like I'm like, I guess, bro, like whatever.
• 16:12
SPEAKER_02: Just you know, like I I like for me personally, I feel like I was in those people's shoes at one point too, so I kind of sympathize with them because when you're not seeing it from someone else's point of view, you obviously aren't gonna understand, right?
• 16:28
SPEAKER_02: Like I was that person at one point because I didn't understand what was going on.
• 16:33
SPEAKER_02: I thought Chris was crazy at one point because he sold his house, right?
• 16:36
  SPEAKER_02: For Bitcoin.
• 16:37
SPEAKER_02: Not literally crazy, but I'm like, who would do this?
• 16:39
SPEAKER_02: Because I couldn't understand the point of view that he was coming from because I didn't understand the information.
• 16:44
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 16:45
  SPEAKER_02: So I don't know.
• 16:46
SPEAKER_02: I personally I haven't haven't really had any like crazy, crazy reactions.
• 16:52
  SPEAKER_02: Have you had any?
• 16:53
  SPEAKER_02: Like had any?
• 16:54
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've I've had a few, like some like like what you shared, like on comments and stuff, and then whenever I shared like in in face to face, um, people what I've noticed they're not so like oh you're weird or you're crazy.
• 17:07
  SPEAKER_00: They're like they're more like understanding.
• 17:09
SPEAKER_00: They're like because when we we drop breadcrumbs, right?
• 17:12
SPEAKER_00: We drop knowledge on them as well because we did the research.
• 17:15
SPEAKER_00: So then I like I want to get them to think a little bit, right?
• 17:18
SPEAKER_00: But um as far as like someone kind of saying something to me in person, like no one everyone acts different online than they do in person.
• 17:26
SPEAKER_00: Like everybody's so brave behind that screen, but yeah, it's just so funny.
• 17:32
SPEAKER_01: Well, even like he works with my my dad, and so he's older, right?
• 17:35
SPEAKER_01: He's in his his uh 70s, 70s, um, doesn't act it then, you know, he's really young at heart, I feel like.
• 17:43
SPEAKER_01: But um, you know, he grew up in a certain money money system, right?
• 17:47
SPEAKER_01: And everything kind of worked in that time, you know, like back back in the day where you could buy a house for a reasonable amount, you can, you know, raise a family on one income, you could, you know, do all these things.
• 17:58
SPEAKER_01: It was just a different time.
• 17:59
SPEAKER_00: The dollar wasn't bleeding as much as it is now, and so when you look at it, like their doll it held more value back then.
• 18:06
SPEAKER_00: So, like he like just listening to him, he he had like, for example, he's owned like five houses, and I'm like, in his whole life, like, and they were all brand new.
• 18:15
SPEAKER_00: So I was like, dude, that's like like very unheard of nowadays, right?
• 18:19
SPEAKER_00: The average person home buyer is like 40 years old, which is wild.
• 18:23
SPEAKER_00: And it gets it's hard for me to like um like connect with him sometimes because he's like over here where we live, I don't know where where it is over there where you live.
• 18:33
SPEAKER_00: For us, it's like a million, like the average price of a home is a million bucks, like there's nothing less than a million, and so he's like, Yeah, you should just buy this like million-dollar home.
• 18:43
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, dude, like I just don't want to like pour all my money into a house, and it just it's a utility, it doesn't make sense for me to do that, and then we're like working to just pay this mortgage, and I'm like, nah, and he's like, It's the same as uh when I was a back in my day, and I'm like, and I'm like, Johnny, I'm gonna use yours.
• 19:01
SPEAKER_00: You're like, you bought it for like two berries and a grape.
• 19:05
  SPEAKER_00: Literally.
• 19:06
SPEAKER_00: When I when you said that, oh my gosh, he's like, they bought it for two berries and we're not hating, dude.
• 19:11
SPEAKER_00: I would buy, I would buy for two berries and a grape too.
• 19:14
  SPEAKER_00: It's just a different time, right?
• 19:16
SPEAKER_00: And our and our two berries and a grape is Bitcoin right now, you know, at the price that it does right now.
• 19:21
SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna take full advantage and you know, I'm gonna eat this.
• 19:24
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna eat this up.
• 19:26
  SPEAKER_02: It's it's wild.
• 19:27
SPEAKER_02: Austin is like top of the list with California, where Massachusetts on the top of the list of California.
• 19:32
SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't know like the exact average, but I'm pretty sure it's like probably 800,000 to a million.
• 19:38
  SPEAKER_02: Um 700,000 to a million.
• 19:41
  SPEAKER_02: Um, don't quote me.
• 19:42
SPEAKER_02: I know someone's gonna be like, oh, you're wrong.
• 19:44
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's up there.
• 19:45
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 19:47
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 19:51
SPEAKER_02: No, but all jokes aside, it's really expensive here as well.
• 19:55
SPEAKER_02: Um, so I know what you guys mean because it's like even like when I was younger, I would always think like, okay, I'm gonna graduate college, I'm gonna get a nice job, I'm gonna get married, have a family, my husband and I are gonna buy a nice home, and I'm over here like maybe that would have worked like before I was born.
• 20:13
SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, like it's crazy, it's crazy.
• 20:18
  SPEAKER_00: It's crazy, Tommy.
• 20:20
SPEAKER_00: I want to ask you, so one of our favorite things that I've noticed, like we've been interviewing a lot of uh uh on our podcast, a lot of Gen Zers, and I I've like fallen in love with Gen Zers because um I honestly, in my opinion, I think that you guys are going to feel like the worst of everything uh really qu quicker than everyone else.
• 20:38
SPEAKER_00: And so that you guys are gonna like, hey, something needs to switch, or like things are like there's no way that we can just keep this is not sustainable, right?
• 20:46
SPEAKER_00: And so um, what are you seeing like with your friends and you know, and your like old classmates or you know, co-workers?
• 20:54
SPEAKER_02: This is just like we were just born into this, and this is how it's gonna be, and that's how it's gonna eventually just stay.
• 21:02
SPEAKER_02: Um, and I think that's why it's really important to like look into Bitcoin, right?
• 21:08
SPEAKER_02: Because if you're saving in a money that can't be inflated, then you're able to beat inflation, right?
• 21:14
SPEAKER_02: The inflation of life that we're all going through right now.
• 21:16
SPEAKER_02: But I feel like for my generation, like for me, I was born in 1999, right?
• 21:21
  SPEAKER_02: And obviously I didn't experience 2008 crash.
• 21:24
SPEAKER_02: I I was alive, but I wasn't conscious at that point to understand what's going on.
• 21:29
SPEAKER_02: Um so like me seeing how things have changed from like 2020 COVID to like now, I'm like, wait, like I'm really feeling this.
• 21:42
SPEAKER_02: Like things are really expensive.
• 21:44
SPEAKER_02: And even like going to the store to get groceries, I'm like, this wasn't this expensive two months ago, right?
• 21:51
SPEAKER_02: Like, why am I paying so much money for a loaf of bread or some orange juice or kombucha?
• 21:58
SPEAKER_02: I mean, kombucha's kind of expensive, but You know, like why is everything so why is everything so expensive?
• 22:04
  SPEAKER_02: So I don't know.
• 22:06
SPEAKER_02: I feel like my generation especially is kind of like very doom and gloom, because that's just kind of how we we were kind of just born into it, right?
• 22:16
SPEAKER_02: But I feel like for me personally, I've noticed that when you are a Bitcoiner, you don't really you see what's going on, but you don't let's you don't succumb to it.
• 22:26
SPEAKER_02: Because we're able to save in hard money.
• 22:29
SPEAKER_02: I feel like we're all optimists in a way, right?
• 22:31
SPEAKER_02: Like we see the brighter things in life because we're able to focus on the money that's there, the money that we do have, the money that is the future, versus if I'm still saving in dollars, I'm worried about if my 401k is gonna if I'm gonna be able to retire later on in life, right?
• 22:48
SPEAKER_02: I don't think about that now because I have Bitcoin.
• 22:51
SPEAKER_02: Before I'd be like, How am I gonna retire?
• 22:53
SPEAKER_02: How am I gonna buy a house?
• 22:54
SPEAKER_02: Now I'm like, I know all that's gonna happen, right?
• 22:57
SPEAKER_02: As long as I keep going, as long as I keep going and I keep saving in Bitcoin.
• 23:02
SPEAKER_02: So I I think it just goes with like, what are you, what's your saving vehicle?
• 23:06
SPEAKER_02: What are you putting your money into?
• 23:09
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's so good.
• 23:11
SPEAKER_01: And you have such an influence, it sounds like just based on like what you your bio a little bit too.
• 23:16
SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, you being able to talk to that younger generation a little bit too, kind of creating those opportunities.
• 23:22
SPEAKER_01: And maybe you can't specifically talk about Bitcoin, but you can give them a mindset that's maybe a little bit long-term focused and thinking um not just about right now and what the world looks like right now.
• 23:34
SPEAKER_01: The world can change in small ways, right?
• 23:37
SPEAKER_01: Based on how we um navigate things um and finance is a lot of that too.
• 23:42
SPEAKER_01: And so do you feel like when you have those engagement opportunities with the younger generation, you're able to kind of um, I don't know, feed into the positivity of like the time that they're born into, you know what I mean?
• 23:54
SPEAKER_02: Especially at a younger age, kids are much more um quicker to absorb what they're seeing or what they're hearing, and they're able to be influenced either direction, right?
• 24:03
SPEAKER_02: So I try to make sure to um just speak life into them, right?
• 24:08
SPEAKER_02: Like we all need to be spoken positively to.
• 24:11
SPEAKER_02: I'm a firm believer in don't speak negatively upon yourself or in other people because words have power, and you may you may say it as a joke, but you subconsciously are taking that in, right?
• 24:24
SPEAKER_02: Like you don't know, like I love saying like repetition is the mother of skill.
• 24:28
SPEAKER_02: The more you do something, the more you repeat something, the more you you do things, the more it's gonna subconsciously stick and create a habit.
• 24:35
SPEAKER_02: So I just I try to every time I see a young person, I'm like, you know that like right now is like the best time of your life, even though the world looks the way it looks, like you're never gonna be this age again.
• 24:46
SPEAKER_02: Like you have a head start versus people that are much older and and they're just now figuring life out, right?
• 24:53
SPEAKER_02: And of course, nobody has life figured out, it's like an ongoing process.
• 24:57
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but someone that's in high school has uh a bigger path towards freedom, I say, or like financial freedom versus somebody that just started at like 60 or 50.
• 25:10
SPEAKER_02: Not to sound like you know, but it's true, like the the the younger you start, the better off you'll be.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_00: Yes, yeah, that's so good.
• 25:18
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because pouring into younger kids, they like they absorb everything, like kids absorb everything, like because this is always recording, right?
• 25:26
SPEAKER_00: Even in ours, but theirs is like hyper record, like theirs is like taking in every detail.
• 25:31
SPEAKER_00: So when you pour into them and they like are able to absorb it, and the ones that like stick to it and actually listen, yeah, like that's where like they're that's just such a game changer.
• 25:40
SPEAKER_00: And no, you know what?
• 25:41
  SPEAKER_00: It's a life changer, yeah.
• 25:42
SPEAKER_00: Because, and especially when it's about money and finances and budgeting and all these things are like super valuable that you'll find out real quick as an adult the things that they don't talk about in school.
• 25:55
SPEAKER_00: Wow, they're running around everywhere.
• 25:57
SPEAKER_01: We but we have a similar mindset.
• 25:58
SPEAKER_01: We really do talk about like the words that we say out loud have power, you know, over ourselves.
• 26:04
SPEAKER_01: So we just have to really think about ways that we talk out loud and how we speak in front of others.
• 26:09
SPEAKER_01: And I think um it's super cool that you're able to speak into the younger generation and maybe they'll you know grasp onto even those financial things because a lot of the um, you know, the school system isn't teaching that.
• 26:21
  SPEAKER_01: It isn't.
• 26:21
SPEAKER_01: They're just really trying to, you know, keep the system going.
• 26:25
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 26:26
SPEAKER_00: No, the um, so I know um, I know with health and like with wealth, it's something that's talked about a lot with Bitcoiners.
• 26:35
SPEAKER_00: Like they just go together, right?
• 26:37
SPEAKER_00: Especially when you understand, you verify, you do the research, you go down the rabbit holes.
• 26:42
SPEAKER_00: Every rabbit hole leads you back to health and wealth.
• 26:45
SPEAKER_00: And it's super important because I think we live in a high preference time, you know, where everyone is like instant, right?
• 26:52
SPEAKER_00: And they want this, and we have technology, so everyone's trying to hit that meme coin, that extra whatever it is, right?
• 26:58
SPEAKER_00: But Bitcoin teaches you about long term.
• 26:59
SPEAKER_00: Like, do you think the mindset also applies to health?
• 27:02
SPEAKER_00: And how important is health when it comes to building real wealth and freedom all together?
• 27:07
SPEAKER_02: If you don't take care of yourself, you're not gonna be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor later on.
• 27:12
SPEAKER_02: And for me personally, like I take it very to the heart, like very seriously, because like in 2020 or no, 2021, I got like really sick and I was like in and out the hospital, and I was I had all these blood tests, and they're like, You're fine.
• 27:28
  SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I don't feel fine, I don't look fine, and they're like, We don't really know what's going on.
• 27:33
SPEAKER_02: Um, and I was like, Okay, like clearly something's going on, right?
• 27:38
SPEAKER_02: I need to do something, I need to change something.
• 27:41
SPEAKER_02: Um, so I started taking track of my eating habits, and if I eat this, how am I gonna react?
• 27:46
SPEAKER_02: How's my body gonna react to this?
• 27:48
SPEAKER_02: Um, and I kind of figured like even when I'm feeling bad, like when you feel bad, you're not able to enjoy life, you're not able to build freedom, you're not able to have fun with your family or your friends.
• 28:04
SPEAKER_02: So if you don't take care of yourself, how are you going to do anything?
• 28:08
SPEAKER_02: And I always say, like, yes, build your financial freedom, yes, build the life that you want, but don't forget the vehicle that is trying to create these things.
• 28:20
SPEAKER_02: Like, your body is a literally a machine, it's like a car.
• 28:23
SPEAKER_02: You have to get it checked out.
• 28:24
SPEAKER_02: You need oil changes, just like your car does.
• 28:27
SPEAKER_02: Like, you need to make sure that your internal is good so your external could reflect that.
• 28:33
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and when I got sick, I was like, I'm way too young to be feeling this way.
• 28:39
SPEAKER_02: Like, I got sick at 21, and they're had me on so much medication.
• 28:42
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, whoa, like, yeah, this is not gonna be the life for me.
• 28:45
  SPEAKER_02: I'm not doing this.
• 28:46
SPEAKER_02: That kind of woke me up, and I was like, whoa, like I've seen family members that like 50 plus or 40 plus that are going through these things, and I'm like, this is not gonna be my life, so I need to take control of this.
• 28:59
SPEAKER_02: And I always tell people, like, read the food labels, read the ingredients inside your food, because something could be marketed as like organic or healthy, but then you flip it and it has high fruit corn syrup, and it has like additives and it's GMO and all these things.
• 29:20
SPEAKER_02: And if you don't pay attention to what you're putting into your body, you're just doing it to yourself, right?
• 29:26
SPEAKER_02: Like, you have to be conscious of what you're doing because everything that you put into your body is also affecting you, even if you don't know it.
• 29:33
SPEAKER_02: So I hope that answers your question.
• 29:35
SPEAKER_02: Or if I went a little bit off.
• 29:37
  SPEAKER_00: That's great.
• 29:38
SPEAKER_00: And I'm hoping everything's better now, too, since you had all of this and you're left, you're off less uh medication.
• 29:43
  SPEAKER_00: Cause that's that's always like that's scary.
• 29:46
SPEAKER_00: Cause I see my my parents, they're also uh my dad specifically, not my mom, my dad, but he uh he takes all these pills, and I'm like, dude, I'm like, go walk, go touch grass, go hit, go touch the weight, you know, and change what you eat, change what you eat, right?
• 30:02
SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm like, when's the last time you had like a vegetable, you know?
• 30:06
SPEAKER_00: Like the little thing he's like, and then he like puts his head up, like thinking about it, and I'm like, dude, that's you're that's bad.
• 30:13
  SPEAKER_00: That's bad.
• 30:14
  SPEAKER_00: That's bad.
• 30:14
SPEAKER_00: It's been uh it's been too long.
• 30:16
SPEAKER_00: It's like trying to backtrack.
• 30:18
SPEAKER_00: And but no, it's true because like it goes back to like fiat, right?
• 30:22
SPEAKER_00: It like it ruins everything because these people who are making food, they're trying to put the less like they're not trying to spend like high quality stuff for people, like they're just trying to like get by.
• 30:32
SPEAKER_00: And so no, I I totally, I totally agree with you on that.
• 30:34
  SPEAKER_00: Like health is wealth.
• 30:38
  SPEAKER_01: Health is wealth.
• 30:38
SPEAKER_01: We we we always used to, I mean, you know, we always say, I'd rather spend money on anything that's gonna keep us healthy, yeah, than us worry about, you know, medical bills or things in the back end that we are are just putting a band-aid on the situation, you know?
• 30:54
SPEAKER_01: And so yeah, we do our best, you know, to make sure that we're we're make you know, staying healthy, exercising, um, creating good habits even with our kids too, because we grew up in a different generation.
• 31:06
SPEAKER_01: You know, my mom cooked and stuff.
• 31:07
SPEAKER_01: He's he was raised by a single parent, so it was like it was survival at points, you know.
• 31:12
SPEAKER_01: So everyone was kind of raised in what made sense to them.
• 31:15
SPEAKER_01: And so they kind of carry on those, you know, habits.
• 31:18
SPEAKER_01: Um, and so we're just trying to create those different habits for our kids and even for ourselves, you know, just to make sure that that we can really enjoy the fruits of our labor.
• 31:29
SPEAKER_01: Um, and it's funny that you say that.
• 31:31
SPEAKER_01: It reminds me of my dad because he actually got like a personal trainer, he's older now, you know, and he's like, he realized, like, oh, I'm not gonna be able to enjoy life if I'm not healthy, you know, if I'm not taking care of myself, if I'm not, you know, strong and able to do things.
• 31:46
SPEAKER_01: So it was it was really an eye-opener for me when he started like changing a lot of his habits because I was like, oh wow, like he's serious about like wanting to yeah, and he looks good.
• 31:55
SPEAKER_00: He looks great, he looks good, like he's 75.
• 31:57
SPEAKER_00: If you saw this guy walking down the street, you're not just you'd think like he was 50 or something.
• 32:01
SPEAKER_00: Oh he's like in good shape, he's like running and walking, uh riding his bike.
• 32:06
SPEAKER_00: He's just like he's on it, right?
• 32:08
SPEAKER_00: And so it's so easy to forget that because we could be so wrapped up in like, man, I gotta hit you know X amount of dollars or whatever it is, or X amount of Bitcoin, what whatever it may be, whatever your goal is.
• 32:18
SPEAKER_00: But like you're like you shared, your V like your your body, your is like your biggest organ, you gotta take care of it.
• 32:25
SPEAKER_00: And because without this, like it doesn't matter how much money you have, it doesn't matter how like like being chronically online all the time, like that's not good for us either.
• 32:34
SPEAKER_02: Like I understand, like for me personally, I'm I'm trying to create this this brand, this business, these things, and it requires me to be online.
• 32:43
SPEAKER_02: But if you are someone that's also doing the same thing, you also have to remember you need to live your life in the same in the same at the same time, right?
• 32:53
SPEAKER_02: Like you can't neglect one trying to create the other.
• 32:57
SPEAKER_02: Like, I do believe there is a way to balance it.
• 32:59
SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't think like the old way of doing things we're like I have to hustle and grind all the time.
• 33:04
SPEAKER_02: Like, no, I feel like we're living in a different time where there are tools that allow us to make these things and we don't have to be online constantly 24-7.
• 33:15
SPEAKER_02: Like, we know that blue light is terrible for our eyes.
• 33:17
SPEAKER_02: Like, we need sunlight when we wake up, we need sunlight for our circadian rhythm, we need these natural things that have always been on earth in order for us to keep moving throughout the day and to live our life.
• 33:29
SPEAKER_02: So, and the phone is very addictive.
• 33:32
  SPEAKER_02: Like, we know this.
• 33:32
SPEAKER_02: Like, sometimes I'm like, where's my phone?
• 33:35
SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, Well, relax.
• 33:37
SPEAKER_02: You just open that app up, like you just opened that app.
• 33:40
  SPEAKER_02: It's okay.
• 33:40
SPEAKER_02: Like, that was like five seconds ago, and you have to catch yourself when you do these things because they just become habits that are on that we're unconscious of them.
• 33:49
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, just take a breather, get some fresh air, um, look at the birds, talk to your friends, talk to your family, because these things are limited, and we have a limited amount of time while we're here on earth.
• 34:02
SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, we grew up in uh it was it's interesting because you share that because we for us, like we I was born in '88 and Danielle's 89.
• 34:12
SPEAKER_00: So we got to we I remember vividly like life before like cell phones and technology, like and computers.
• 34:20
SPEAKER_00: Like it, I remember it vividly.
• 34:22
SPEAKER_00: Like you, we would, I would go, like, it was like it was I would go over to my friend's house because friends had money, and I would go to their house, and and I would I would like I would like spend the night there every I would do everything.
• 34:32
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I'm not leaving the house.
• 34:34
SPEAKER_00: I would go there and they had like uh they would have like speakers on the wall where like uh they had like two stories and they'd be like you click it and be and like and then the mom would be like hey come down for dinner and I'd be like what like and and then so and the way the internet worked too was where you would um if somebody was online like nobody can use the house phone.
• 35:00
SPEAKER_00: Yeah nobody can use the house phone, so they're like I got an important phone call.
• 35:04
SPEAKER_00: I need you to get off this time, yeah.
• 35:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I need you to get off between this time, crazy.
• 35:10
SPEAKER_00: It was weird, it was wild.
• 35:11
SPEAKER_00: It was it was like it's so and like I go, I look back and I'm like, man, like those were some really good times because you if you had to tell somebody if you're like, hey, I'm gonna uh we're gonna meet at you know this break at this breakfast joint, you know, like 10 o'clock on Saturday, like and you would go and they're not there, you're like, no, like, do I wait here?
• 35:32
SPEAKER_00: Like, like, who where is this person?
• 35:34
SPEAKER_00: Because there was no cell phone to text them, like, where you at?
• 35:37
  SPEAKER_00: Are you okay?
• 35:38
SPEAKER_00: Like, you're just uh you just be tapping your feet in the burrito place, like, bro, is this person coming?
• 35:44
SPEAKER_00: Like, um, no, but it it it's so funny though, because how those simple principles of going outside are so important, and we had that before.
• 35:54
SPEAKER_00: And uh, I I I I totally agree with you, like it and it's going back to basics, right?
• 35:59
SPEAKER_00: It's going back to your ABCs, it's going back to like hanging out with people, you know, and turning your phone off and just kind of like detaching and like being present.
• 36:08
SPEAKER_00: Um, because I I I'll share this with you is like we were just in high school, we were just in college, and like now, and then it and then we were just 30, and then like time is like boom, boom, boom, and fast.
• 36:22
SPEAKER_00: Uh when I was younger, uh my grandma, she didn't lived in a convalescent home, and I would always I would what wheel her all the way to like all of her friends, and I would always ask her, I was like 13, and I would and this was like the most valuable thing I ever I ever did.
• 36:34
SPEAKER_00: I would uh wheel her to all of her friends, and it all like they were black, Asian, Mexican, whites, like she had friends, friends with everybody in this convalescent home.
• 36:42
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, hey, what what advice would you give to somebody my age?
• 36:45
SPEAKER_00: You know, like what would you share with me?
• 36:47
SPEAKER_00: Because you obviously you live longer, and they all said the same thing in like a different uh a different way.
• 36:52
SPEAKER_00: They would say, Whatever you do, like enjoy every second of your life, like every second, even the bad days, because you're gonna be right here in this bed before you know it.
• 37:05
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Whoa, I'm not trying to be in that bed, bro.
• 37:08
SPEAKER_00: I'm not trying to in that bed, you know.
• 37:12
SPEAKER_00: But Bitcoin really brought that out to me, and like, you know, because we always talk about time preference, right?
• 37:17
SPEAKER_00: And so it's just I don't know, it's just very interesting, and like that's why we did this podcast.
• 37:22
SPEAKER_00: We want to connect with people, meet people, like comment, like you said, like mindset, and uh just hear people's story, yeah, you know, and just hear their background and go from there.
• 37:30
SPEAKER_01: And Johnmy, did you always have this line like long-term mindset?
• 37:33
SPEAKER_01: Like, did you always have this mindset growing up?
• 37:35
SPEAKER_01: Like, were your parents that way, or did you play sport?
• 37:38
SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, sometimes it comes from something or someone, you know, that it instills it in you.
• 37:43
SPEAKER_02: My mom has always taught me, like, save for a rainy day, like you never know when something could go wrong.
• 37:48
SPEAKER_02: Um, just like think before you do things, think about the long-term consequences.
• 37:53
SPEAKER_02: Like, but I'm always like I don't know, I've always been I don't know if it's like cause I'm I don't know if because I'm a futurist or what, but like I've always had the mindset of like yes, I'm living now, but everything I do now will impact me later, you know, like and I've always thought like I can't ever go back, so I never try to rely on like or replay like what happened in the past because you literally can't go back, right?
• 38:20
SPEAKER_02: So all you could do is live now and then try to live now for the future, you know.
• 38:24
SPEAKER_02: So everything I do, I try to think like this is gonna impact me later on when I'm 30, when I'm twenty or when I'm 40, when I'm 50.
• 38:33
SPEAKER_02: Um, if God lets me see 100.
• 38:35
SPEAKER_02: And I've always seen like my older peers, like if I could go back when I was your age, I'd do this differently, and I'm like, ooh, like I don't I'm your age now, and I'm you know, like keep telling me so I won't do it, you know?
• 38:49
SPEAKER_02: So I just try to live my life in a way where I have one, no regrets, and two, I make sure that I'm trying to make the best decision for now and like my future self and like my future family whenever that happens.
• 39:02
  SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
• 39:03
SPEAKER_00: Um with where you're at right now in your life, do you feel like you see where how your past because you're still very young, but has it reflected on like where you're at right now in your life, like the decisions that you made?
• 39:16
SPEAKER_02: I just started questioning things, right?
• 39:18
SPEAKER_02: Like I was like, okay, am I gonna like keep partying and like have all this fun and I need to get an internship soon because I'm gonna be a senior sooner or later, and I need to have something.
• 39:32
SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't want to just party and waste my time.
• 39:35
SPEAKER_02: Like, yes, it's important to live your life and enjoy it while you're young, but you also want to do things that are like concrete, right?
• 39:44
SPEAKER_02: You want to have something for your future, you don't want to waste your youth or like your potential on like short-term gratification and just doing things for fun.
• 39:54
SPEAKER_02: Um, so I I don't know, I just started questioning like, are my friends really my friends?
• 39:59
SPEAKER_02: Am I living a healthy am I you know, like, am I living a healthy life?
• 40:03
  SPEAKER_02: Am I who I say I am?
• 40:05
  SPEAKER_02: Am I am I giving too much and I know I can't?
• 40:10
SPEAKER_02: Am I too hard on myself or am I not doing enough?
• 40:14
SPEAKER_02: So I don't know, I just started questioning myself and like the people around me, and I think that that has helped me a lot, just like moving forward.
• 40:22
SPEAKER_02: And even like making the decision to go to college, like I remember um there was one year where I couldn't pay my um my bill for the semester, and if you can't pay your bill, you can't enroll in the next semester, so you have to pay it or you can't enroll it.
• 40:39
SPEAKER_02: So it was just like a really, really tough situation, and I remember I was like I went to financial aid, and they're like, Oh, like you could just take out a ten thousand dollar loan, an extra loan, and at this time I'm like 18 or 19.
• 40:52
  SPEAKER_02: I'm like another one?
• 40:54
  SPEAKER_02: No, I don't think so.
• 40:56
SPEAKER_02: That was like another one, I don't think so.
• 40:58
SPEAKER_02: Um, so then I just I went to my dorm, I started crying, and I was like, Oh my god, my life is over.
• 41:03
SPEAKER_02: Um and then um I went to my work study job and I was like um expressing to them like if there's any resources on campus or what can I do to help me get this um bill paid off.
• 41:17
SPEAKER_02: And I I I went to the financial aid office or the grant office, they pointed me to the grant office, and then my um my bill was paid off and it covered for the next semester.
• 41:26
SPEAKER_02: And it was like a blessing in disguise the way everything happened.
• 41:29
SPEAKER_02: But that just went to show me that like you don't have to take the first solution, right?
• 41:35
SPEAKER_02: Like you have to question things, you have to ask questions, even if it's uncomfortable or you're vulnerable, make sure you ask for help.
• 41:42
SPEAKER_02: Make sure you go to people, even if you feel like you're gonna look a certain way or you're gonna feel a certain way.
• 41:48
SPEAKER_02: At the end of the day, it's you and you only.
• 41:51
SPEAKER_02: So if you don't help yourself, you're not gonna be able to get out of whatever whatever situation you're in, right?
• 41:57
SPEAKER_02: So I don't know, just advocating for myself and thinking like an adult at a young age, I feel like has helped me a lot.
• 42:07
SPEAKER_02: Um I kind of forgot the question by now, but yeah, just just putting yourself out there, you know, just putting yourself out there and advocating for yourself and asking for help no matter the situation.
• 42:17
SPEAKER_02: And it's something that you learn to do, at least for me.
• 42:20
  SPEAKER_02: I haven't always been this way.
• 42:21
SPEAKER_02: I've like forced myself to get help or ask for help because it's not easy, right?
• 42:26
SPEAKER_02: Like nobody wants to admit, like, I'm in a situation and I need help or this is going on.
• 42:30
SPEAKER_02: But I think those moments are powerful because not only does it help you, but it could help another person to like get inspired to ask for help as well.
• 42:40
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that situation is so such a helpful, like so many parts of that story were you know could change the way someone's thinking about a situation too.
• 42:50
  SPEAKER_01: Cause yeah, you're right.
• 42:51
SPEAKER_01: You could have spent another$10,000 loan and you would have been more in debt and you would have, you know, all these things.
• 42:57
SPEAKER_01: And then it took having an open, honest conversation with, you know, people obviously that you probably trusted or you were working around, or just opening your mouth and like sharing what's happening is such a helpful thing because sometimes people have these resolutions that you're like, where did you come from?
• 43:14
SPEAKER_01: You know, like I I wish how did you have the answer to that?
• 43:19
SPEAKER_01: Like at this moment, but it was because I was willing to be vulnerable and share something or be humble enough to know, like, hey, I don't have all the answers and I don't know anyone else that does.
• 43:30
SPEAKER_01: So anyone in your in this group right here has got to know somebody or something.
• 43:35
  SPEAKER_03: Anybody, anybody, help me.
• 43:39
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 43:40
  SPEAKER_01: Totally.
• 43:40
SPEAKER_01: I mean, and I just I admire your mindset so much too, because at a yeah, I would say I would say we were somewhat motivated, but I don't think uh no, we were still having a good time.
• 43:51
SPEAKER_01: And I like, like you said, like tell me all the things, like just keep doing what you're doing because you're on the right path.
• 43:57
SPEAKER_01: We did college too, and we I Was a little more aligned.
• 44:03
SPEAKER_01: Aligned with what I was trying to do.
• 44:05
SPEAKER_01: And then Anthony was more of a partier, I would say, and having a good time.
• 44:08
  SPEAKER_00: It's so bad.
• 44:09
  SPEAKER_00: It's so bad.
• 44:10
SPEAKER_01: Uh, but you know what?
• 44:11
SPEAKER_01: It's it, I never want to say shulda wulda coulda, like what you were talking about.
• 44:14
  SPEAKER_01: I always say that.
• 44:15
SPEAKER_01: Like, our path is our path, our journey is our journey.
• 44:19
SPEAKER_01: We're where we're supposed to be in this time for a purpose, a reason.
• 44:24
SPEAKER_01: And um, we'll do with what God has blessed us with, and you know, that's our faith.
• 44:29
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, you know, we can always learn, we can continue to grow and become better people and become, you know, we're like I said, we're still growing up.
• 44:36
SPEAKER_01: Like we're this is the first time that we've ever been this aged, the first time we've ever done anything.
• 44:41
SPEAKER_01: So it's like we can't we can't beat ourselves up about something that we're just not we don't know, yeah, you know.
• 44:47
SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, you just have such a great positive mindset, and I think just you being able to speak to even your peers, but even the younger generation too, and then sharing it with you know, people like me who are still navigating, like, man, this is crazy that our money system is totally jacked up right now, and like maybe we have to think about things differently.
• 45:09
SPEAKER_01: And it's just really good.
• 45:11
  SPEAKER_01: It's really good.
• 45:11
SPEAKER_00: I think Johnny, I think like uh you are so far ahead of so many people, like like you're you're light years ahead of people.
• 45:19
SPEAKER_00: I I can't tell you, like being anywhere in your 20s, it doesn't even matter if you're like 29, yeah, and you just start learning about Bitcoin and the money system and everything around you that the and the way the world works, like you are uh light years ahead of so many people.
• 45:32
SPEAKER_02: Um, well, first, thank you guys for having me.
• 45:35
SPEAKER_02: I really appreciate this because like I've been dodging every single DM that's like, oh, can you be on my podcast for like the last year?
• 45:43
SPEAKER_02: Because I'm like, oh god.
• 45:48
SPEAKER_02: Thank you guys for having me.
• 45:50
SPEAKER_02: Um I'm so excited for when this comes out.
• 45:53
  SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna tell everybody I'm famous.
• 45:55
  SPEAKER_02: No, I'm joking.
• 45:56
SPEAKER_02: No, but um no, I really appreciate you guys.
• 45:58
SPEAKER_02: You guys made me feel really comfortable, and I think you what you guys are doing is amazing because I feel like I know I'm getting a little bit off track, but I feel like people need to see like everyday people, right?
• 46:10
SPEAKER_02: Like we're not all Michael Saylors, we're not all Jeff Booth, we don't all have this kind of scale of money, or or like we're not in these corporations, so I think it's important when the people that look like us or people that are working blue-collar jobs or white-collar jobs or whatever you do, right?
• 46:26
SPEAKER_02: Like take away the titles, we're all human, right?
• 46:29
SPEAKER_02: And we're all just figuring things out, and we're all no matter what your age is, your religion, your you know, all of that stuff, right?
• 46:36
SPEAKER_02: You can learn whatever you want no matter, or regardless of what you think.
• 46:41
SPEAKER_02: Like it's all about what you think, and if you really want to do it, like don't pay attention to oh, I don't have this degree, I'm not a finance major.
• 46:49
  SPEAKER_02: I wasn't either.
• 46:51
  SPEAKER_02: I wasn't either.
• 46:52
SPEAKER_02: Like, just that stuff doesn't matter.
• 46:55
SPEAKER_02: So I really appreciate what you guys are doing.
• 46:57
SPEAKER_02: I think that this is great for everybody.
• 46:59

SPEAKER_00: Awesome, and um, that's really sweet of you, Johnny, and anyone that you think that would like uh they're like, hey, you need to like you like DM me, like, hey Anthony, Danielle, like you need to talk to this person.
• 47:28
  SPEAKER_00: Like, even shoot us.
• 47:29
  SPEAKER_00: Like, we'll I'm almost like I'm just gonna shoot people's stories.
• 47:32
SPEAKER_00: We love hearing people's stories.
• 47:33
SPEAKER_00: And whoever like grows and wants to be on it, like we're all for it.

SPEAKER_00: I'm not, I'm like, dude, let's go, you know.
• 47:38
SPEAKER_00: So whoever you think too, like, shoot us.

SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, we'd love to to hear good.
• 47:42
SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for the kind words, too.
• 47:44
SPEAKER_01: And just like Anthony said, continue being a light.
• 47:47
SPEAKER_01: We need lights in this in this world for sure.
• 47:50
SPEAKER_01: And yeah, your energy is just awesome.
