Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: Gavin Newsom has spent the last few years telling anyone who listen that he is the man who should lead America.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: The California is the model for the rest of the country.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: But Ryan is the grease monkey's presidential ambitions are heating up.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: That very model is beginning to implode all around him.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: billions of taxpayer dollars are unaccounted for federal agents are making arrests and investigators are closing in.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: Stick me the very end of this video because we're going to see how taken together.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: These scandals threaten not only to destroy Newsom's carefully cultivated image, but to doom his presidential ambitions before the 2028 campaign even begins.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, you're a Patriot Professor.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: Here to celebrate yet another glorious day in the Trumpian Golden Age that you made possible back in November of 2024.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to front row seat on how you continue to change the world in ways you never even imagine, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: Gavin Newsom's prospects for becoming the Democrat presidential nominee in 2028.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: are falling faster than California's withering population under his watch.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: And this is largely because Newsom is being plagued by a series of mounting scandals involving his own administration and the people closest to him.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: Let's start with the signature issue that the grease monkey himself promised he was going to solve.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: Homelessness.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: Now when Gavin Newsom became governor of January 2019,
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: he promised to transform homelessness from a local concern into a statewide mission.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: Big words, big promises, and an even bigger price tag.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: Over just five fiscal years.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: California spent roughly 24 billion dollars on homelessness and housing programs, 24 billion.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: That number surpasses the gross domestic product of a number of countries and I'm not kidding.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: That number surpasses a GDP of countries like Montenegro, Barbados, Botswana, South Sudan,
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: And what did California's taxpayers get for all that money?
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, shall I say, their money?
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: Homelessness did not go down in California.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: Nope.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: It went up.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: Despite spending $24 billion to solve it, California's homeless population actually grew from approximately 151,000 people in 2019 to more than 187,000 in 2024.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's an increase of around 24% and you've got to let that hit you.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's not simply that California's homeless population grew by over 20 percent.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_00]: It grew while taxpayers were flipping the bill to the tune of 24 billion dollars.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: That was supposed to make the homeless population decline.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: California taxpayers actually paid to help their homeless population explode.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: Ten insults to injury, California accounts for roughly 12% of the American population, but nearly 30% of America's homeless population.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: One in three of America's homeless are in California.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: Needless to say, Newsom did not solve the crisis.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: He institutionalized it.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now, of course, this all begs.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: The question, you may be wondering, I know I am.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so...
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: Where did all that 24-bill go?
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: What was it even spent on?
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: What were the programs?
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: What were the organizations?
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: What on earth did they do with it?
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's exactly what investigators, auditors, and certainly California taxpayers have all been asking.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: And the answer is absolutely stunning.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: Very simply, bottom line, they don't know.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: How forward is going to vote for more Democrats?
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: Can you believe that in just a few weeks or now these idiotic left-wing lunatics are going to vote for more of this?
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: In April 2024, California State Auditor released a devastating report finding that the state had failed to track its homelessness spending and outcomes, quote, consistently.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's a very sanitized way of saying, they got no f-ing clue where the money went.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: And simple.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: Sacramento literally has no idea where the California was pouring billions into the homelessness industrial complex, but new Sims government could not tell taxpayers exactly where the money went, whether the programs worked obviously they didn't, or what happened to many of the people supposedly receiving the services.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: 24 bill and the paper trail simply disappears.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: So thankfully, because of what you did back in November of 2024, the Justice Department's homelessness fraud and corruption task force has announced federal charges against people employed by or connected to Los Angeles, homeless service organizations.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: The operation brought together the DOJ.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: the FBI, the IRS, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and take a guess as to what investigators have allegedly discovered amidst all of this welfare and homeless spending.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just say this has the potential of making the layering center in Minneapolis look like child's plague.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: At the center of one case is Michael Young, the founder of a Culver City nonprofit called Holement Last.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: Young's organization reportedly received, again, I kid you not, $100 million in public funds, including tens of millions from the Los Angeles homeless services authority.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: Federal prosecutors are now accusing him of misappropriating at least $12 million through shell companies.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: rig bidding and fraudulent contracts.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: You want to take a guess on what the money was allegedly spent on?
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: Nearly $50,000 for a luxury vacation to Tahiti around $140,000 to reserves restore a vintage Chevrolet in Paula.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: luxury vehicles, personal expenses, and more than $1 million to create and operate, I kid you not a high-end nightclub in Bingo Hall, a freaking nightclub.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, again, you literally can't make this stuff up money supposedly intended to doubt homeless people.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: was allegedly used to put drinks on nightclub tables.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: But this is just the tip of the iceberg.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: Wait until you see how the walls are really closing in on Greece Monkey Newsom.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: emergencies don't wait for perfect conditions.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, one wrong turn, one breakdown, one unexpected storm, and suddenly you're fighting the cold instead of getting help.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's why this tiny little orange bag matters because inside, if you can believe it, like magic.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: is this full size heat reflective emergency sleeping bag designed to trap body heat and protect you in extreme conditions.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: I've tried it myself gang.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: It is so warm.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's waterproof.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's windproof, bright orange.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: So rescuers can spot you fast.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: Emergency experts recommend having one for every family member.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: It weighs almost nothing.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: It fits in your glove box or go back and it works when everything else fails.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: Sierra Mondra engineered them to be compact, affordable, and more advanced than bulky sleeping bags.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: They weigh 10 times less than a typical sleeping bag, but there's 7 feet long and 3 feet wide.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: So they'll fit anyone.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: A typical sleeping bag would cost you well over $200.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: Right now they're marked down over 59% with free shipping on multi-packs.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: You won't find these in stores are available right here.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: Get your family ready today and save a bundle before the sale ends.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and almost forgot the 10 pack ships free doubling up your savings.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: Click below and make sure your family has real protection when it matters most.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: Gavin Newsom's former chief of staff, Dana Williams and his recently pleaded guilty to federal charges involving conspiracy tax fraud and making false statements to the FBI.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: She admitted to siphoning $225,000 from a dormant campaign account.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: Boy, do you see a pattern here?
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: She's hardly an outlier.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: Newsom's public works director Muhammad Nuru is serving seven years for a bribery and kickback racket.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: His judicial appointee Tom Gerardy is doing 87 months from baselling from injured clients, and his former homelessness advisor is serving 42 months, a homelessness advisor.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: All part of what one investigation dubbed his nuisance circle of corruption, and then there's his wife.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: The DOJ recently announced that the Greece Monkey himself was, indeed, under federal investigation for pressuring companies regulated by the state of California to donate millions of dollars to his wife's nonprofit called the California Partner's Project.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: And then he turned around and rewarded those same companies with hundreds of millions of dollars in state contracts.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's called Pay to Play.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: According to investigators, AT&T donated $185,000 to Mrs. Newsom's nonprofit and turn around and got $260 million in state contracts.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: Comcast donated $15,000, turn around and got $20 million from the state.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: Kaiser Permanente donated $20,072 million.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's a classic pay-to-play scheme that we saw a bite in in Ukraine right before the war
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: The California Fair Political Practices Commission's already fine news and $13,000 for failing to report over $14.3 million in these so-called be-hested payments.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: So he's already been caught and the feds are treating that fine that he was charged.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: They're treating that like smoke and they're looking for the fire for sure and now we're learning.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: that a Democratic power broker by the name of Alexis Podesta, a longtime Newsom ally and employee who served in senior roles under both Newsom and former Governor Jerry Brown, he secretly worn FBI wire and recorded conversations inside the Newsom political orbit.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: And as if things could possibly get worse, it's now being reported that a California family that poured more than $4.4 million into Democrat campaigns, including Newsom's, is now facing scrutiny over connections to suspected Chinese by Fang Fang.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: That ended up destroying the political career, the ultra repulsive Eric Swallwells.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: The members of the YIN family, these are big Democrat donors in California.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: They reportedly work with Fang through a number of political organizations, the very scandal that brought down Eric Swallwell is finding its way into Gavin Newsom's inner circle as well.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: So what does all of this mean?
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: What it really means when all said and done, it's the political death of Gavin Newsom.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: his entire presidential sales pitch depends on convincing the nation that California is a model for the country.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: But every new scandal turns that supposed model into an opposition advertisement.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: His homelessness program spent $24 billion while homelessness went up.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: His administration couldn't reliably track the money or measure the results.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: Federal agents are now arresting people accused of stealing millions from the system.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: His former chief of statically the guilty to federal felonies and a Democrat donor connected to Newsom is facing scrutiny over alleged Chinese intelligence ties.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: All as Newsom himself is under federal investigation for a pay-to-play ski.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: I've been saying for months that the California Democrat machine, a system built on one party power, taxpayer money, unaccountable nonprofit, and virtually non-existent oversight was eventually going to collapse under its own weight, under its own corruption.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: And now it is collapsing, not because of a clever Republican advertisement, not because of a partisan talking point, but because the arrests have started.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: The guilty pleas are coming in and the federal government is following the money.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: Gavin Newsom wants to take the California Model of Washington.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: But after $24 billion, tens of thousands of more homeless people and a growing list of federal defendants.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: American voters may be asking themselves a very different question.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: If Gavin Newsom couldn't control what happened in California, why on Earth would anyone hand him the entire country?
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: Before you go, let me say this.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: Patriots around the country are winning right now, but you won't see it on the evening news.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: Every week, I put together the real story of the victories, the momentum, and the proof that the MAGA movement is not slowing down.
