- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's Fakia Friday.
- 0:01[SPEAKER_02]: Fakia!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_02]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: Each week my guess will bring bold, executable, intrinsic, and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it until you see it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, be it baby.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: How are you happy Friday?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to your fucking Friday episode.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: I'm really excited to actually record this because it's taken 17 tries.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm currently looking at a blank screen that's supposed to be my nose.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll see if it comes out.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, here we go.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my goodness.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want my every single need a moment to have to do a technology, but my goodness technology really wants to be my moment that I need today.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's not though.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_02]: So it's middle of August.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for being here.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: On these Fridays, I just like to kind of be real with you.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's going on in my world.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_02]: What I get frustrated about when I'm celebrating, what you're celebrating because I share your wins, and a little mantra to get you on your week.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_02]: If you are in my business coaching group, or my elevate mentorship, then you know, you get to have a moment, but you have to have a win.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_02]: And it's important to have wins at the end of the week.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: Just some, and it doesn't mean you complete it anything.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: It just means you move the needle forward.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_02]: You've found,
- 1:46[SPEAKER_02]: some aha moment that gave you permission to admire yourself something.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to have to be very big and you'll hear from the listeners who have sent in their wins, which you can't do to be at pod.com slash questions.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_02]: You'll hear that some of these wins are just getting one more soul of a thing done, right?
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: So before I get into your wins in mine, think that I am having a moment around I really have to be honest is just people who point out grammar mistakes on social media.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_02]: If someone rarely has a grammar error, and then you point it out when they do, don't you just think that's annoying between autocorrect and weird thumbs and how you'll pick this word, a different spelling of the same word comes up unless it's
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: in every sentence someone says or every paragraph, they probably hate that it happened.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_02]: And guess what, once it's out there, you can't fix it.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's not in the captions, it's in the thing, you just gotta let it go.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_02]: And so I will say, my most recent one that's happened to my own followers, told people like, come on.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: This is stupid.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_02]: Why are you doing this?
- 2:46[SPEAKER_02]: They actually kind of beat up on the person a little more than I would have preferred, like I wouldn't have done that.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_02]: But it is just, it's like a little narky, you know what I mean?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: and in a world where there are literal leaders who are killing people, you're going to tell me that he is the wrong way or you're going to tell me he's the wrong way or it's like I'm not in any
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: And the recovering perfectionists in me is embarrassed.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: Can we just not?
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: People stop trying to get people to be as perfect as you are holding yourself up to be.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's what that really is.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: So that is the moment that I was like so fresher about the other day.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: Because Jesus, oh my God, total mistake.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I'm embarrassed and also not taking it down because it blew up and did really well.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: So we're just gonna leave it that way.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: And now every third comment I have someone Tommy had spelled wrong.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, thank, oh my God, did you see in the other comments
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so I don't know.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think it goes back to the last thing.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: Why can't we just stay in your own lane?
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: Do your thing.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_02]: Focus on what you're doing.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: And then if you can't say something nice, just don't say anything at all.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: I see people spell the words wrong too.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: And guess what I don't do.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: Tell them.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't like, you know what?
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: They'll figure it out.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's not necessary.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't ask.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't ask.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: If they ask, maybe, but they didn't ask.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I don't know.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I just all might have been the only I was afraid to person by that, but I am.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: But my win, my win, we're not done with the tour yet.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_02]: We have another week, but my win is it like this is one of the most sold out tour we've ever done.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: This has been, you know, every tour is so fun, every tour that's on unique thing.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: But like, I'm really, really proud of my team.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: This is a team win because, you know, one of our most integral people is on maternity leave.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: And the team was able to come together, step up,
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: out there without that person.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_02]: And that doesn't mean we don't need her.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_02]: We absolutely do.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: So hi, Meredith, if we hear listening, need you.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: But that we could do it.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: without them is just a sign of how well our team works together.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: And the mission that this is and how much the attendees want it to.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, every single one of you is attended the tour share the tour your part of this win.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm just so grateful.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: We have another week left on this tour.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_02]: And about 90's actually.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm having a great time.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_02]: So a lot of fun.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's really nice to get out of August, out of Vegas and August.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: And also it's darles first tour.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_02]: So that's, you know, that's the most fun.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_02]: So that's my win.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'm on tour and have a great time and we were successful preparing for it.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: You're win time for you, Arwin.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: So you guys send these in to me and then we get to talk about them.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_02]: This is from Ash Wilson Pilates, just got full-time teaching at a studio I've been working at for the past few months.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: That's so cool.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: Ash, you went from part-time to full-time.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's just a massive sign that what you're doing matters and people want more of it.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_02]: And so I hope you
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: tag that end, put it, like save this win for when you need it because my goodness going full-time and teaching is a huge deal and I'm so excited for you and learning me days when you're like, what am I doing?
- 5:52[SPEAKER_02]: And you'll remember, oh my God, I did so well just starting out that they want to be full-time.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: These clients want me, I would do matters.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: And it does.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: You're amazing.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: Right, your mantra is, I appreciate the journey of becoming.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: I appreciate the journey of becoming.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_02]: I appreciate the journey of becoming.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, babe.
