- 0:23chickens. Hey everybody.
- 0:29Good morning from I'm the very busy, Chicken Coop.
- 0:32All kinds of girls laying eggs out here already.
- 0:35So, today I want to talk to you guys about what you do.
- 0:39When you have this repetitive negative thoughts that are going
- 0:43off in your head. Now, I want to be really clear
- 0:45about this. That's that's called being human
- 0:48- thoughts are part of our strategy to protect ourselves.
- 0:52They're just part of how we are hard-wired and they are part of
- 0:56the system to keep us safe. You know negative thoughts come
- 1:00And because they are telling us to be cautious, they think
- 1:03they're helping. So of course, you're going to
- 1:06have them. Of course, they're going to show
- 1:07up. Of course, it's part of our
- 1:09Dynamic of just being human beings.
- 1:12That being said, we don't like them.
- 1:14We don't want to keep them and we have to get rid of them.
- 1:17So once you recognize that they're not giving you useful
- 1:21information that you already know you've taken what you
- 1:25needed, you already get it for instance.
- 1:28Let's just say there's something going on.
- 1:30On in the market and your your business is off or whatever and
- 1:34your negative thoughts are just like, you know, the markets off,
- 1:37you know, you have to pay attention to certain things in
- 1:40order to be okay. So you do that, like your get,
- 1:43you got the information, there's no question, you've got the
- 1:46information, you know what you need to do when you're working
- 1:48on it ruminating on the negative thought does not necessarily
- 1:53help you become more successful because it ends up attracting
- 1:58more negative thoughts and more awful things.
- 2:00That can come your way. So they have to stop the initial
- 2:04part of that though. The initial part of it coming up
- 2:06and trying to give you information is so you can get
- 2:09your butt moving so that you can actually start to make things
- 2:13happen. Because if you didn't have those
- 2:15thoughts then you wouldn't know. There was a sense of urgency.
- 2:18Does that make sense? So you're pushing yourself with
- 2:21that information, but once the information is there staying in
- 2:25that is toxic, keeping that Loop going is toxic because it's not
- 2:29helping you get It all it's doing is causing you to stay
- 2:33depleted calling you to stay in a place of saying, oh gosh.
- 2:37Now here I am and I don't know what to do.
- 2:40This is terrible. I am stuck.
- 2:42And you know, it's never going to get any better.
- 2:43What if it never gets any better, I love when the negative
- 2:46thoughts. Go down the road of what if,
- 2:47what if what if what if, what if that is so debilitating, when
- 2:53you're in the what ifs and you can't break that pattern.
- 2:58And I'm not saying that you can't, I'm saying your head, you
- 3:00think. I just can't seem to stop this.
- 3:02You have to realize that most of the time it's because you are
- 3:07running a pattern, you've already ran many many times so
- 3:12it's very ingrained, it's really in you and you have to change
- 3:16your approach. Now, for me, this comes down to
- 3:20not putting myself into the head, my head alone.
- 3:24Meaning, I will listen to audibles.
- 3:26Sometimes I can't even read because my negative thoughts
- 3:29take over and I'll read the Same paragraph, five times and I'm
- 3:33not taking it any of it. In my eyes are reading the
- 3:35words, but my head is still looping and I know anyone who's
- 3:39listening could probably say they've had the same thing
- 3:41happen, but that's where audible is so great.
- 3:45If you don't have an audible account or you've never used it,
- 3:48go get one because it's the best thing ever.
- 3:49You put the headset on and you just start listening.
- 3:52Now the bonus to this is even if you're not consciously
- 3:56listening, your subconscious mind is listening.
- 3:59Your subconscious mind is. Taking in that information and
- 4:03it's working behind the scenes, you don't always see it.
- 4:06But this is just like a seed in the ground, the seed in the
- 4:09ground is growing, you don't see what's happening underneath, you
- 4:12don't know what's going on. You don't know that those the
- 4:15seed has cracked the roots are there, you don't know anything.
- 4:17All you know is I put it there. I'm waiting to see what happens.
- 4:22We're willing to do that with seeds but we don't do that with
- 4:25our head and I'm telling you the most useful thing that I can
- 4:29tell you today. Is get an audible account and
- 4:32start listening because you're not qualified to be in your own
- 4:35head, so you have to stop it. You have to shut that voice off
- 4:39in the only way you can do it is by Drowning out the voice with
- 4:43somebody else's voice. So pick a book, you know, one of
- 4:47my favorite all-time books and I know I've professed this many
- 4:52times if you've seen me speak, if you've seen any videos, if
- 4:56you've done anything I've ever been on the podcast, you know, I
- 4:58talk about dr. Joseph Murphy.
- 5:00I love this guy and again, he's sadly passed away years ago, but
- 5:07his energy his thoughts, he was so simple.
- 5:09And so pragmatic. And so, on point and he has a
- 5:13little book called how to attract money by dr.
- 5:16Joseph Murphy, this book was written during the Depression
- 5:19and it is fabulous because no matter what your struggle is in
- 5:25your business or with the markets or anything, once you
- 5:28listen to this book, and I've listened to this, Book, I'm not
- 5:31even exaggerating. When I tell you, I've listened
- 5:33to it over 500 times, there are parts of this that I know,
- 5:36verbatim, if not like entire chunks of it, most of it.
- 5:42It is by far one of the best things on the planet.
- 5:46So, grab the book, read the book and stop staying in your own
- 5:50head because it's not resourceful and it won't help
- 5:53you. The trick to remember, is
- 5:55everything that you have always done is in play in those moments
- 5:59of pressure. And stress and you have to
- 6:02interrupt those patterns and quite honestly, we are not
- 6:06qualified to interrupt our own patterns sometimes because we
- 6:09have always done it. The way we've always done it, so
- 6:10we don't know to do it any different.
- 6:12We need different ideas, different strategies, different
- 6:14thoughts, different energy, and that's what using mr.
- 6:18Murphy, and audible, or anybody else that you might want to
- 6:20listen to. But don't go to a book that's
- 6:23like a fiction book, go to a book that's like a self-help
- 6:26book that you can listen to and take in different ideas because
- 6:30As you know, those crumbs are like little seeds that you're
- 6:33planning that are going to change things for you.
- 6:36So work on this try this but don't stay on resourceful.
- 6:40Okay, my friends, I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:42I hope you have a blessed day. Bye.
