AlterNet reports that former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney defended President Donald Trump’s claim that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to pause attacks on energy infrastructure, even though Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of striking a Ukrainian power plant hours later.
