- 4:06Speaker 1: before we get into today's cases, I wanted to share
- 4:11Speaker 1: a quick update with you guys on a case that
- 4:15Speaker 1: we just covered last week. Okay, so this was breaking news.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Police issued search warrants back in twenty twenty four for
- 4:25Speaker 1: the disappearance of Asha. Now, guys, in the news yesterday,
- 4:30Speaker 1: it was reported that new search warrants were executed on
- 4:35Speaker 1: February thirteenth, just a day after we covered the case. No,
- 4:40Speaker 1: I wish I could say it was because of us,
- 4:42Speaker 1: but it was from information they found from those warrants
- 4:46Speaker 1: and some other things. Now, the new search warrants focus
- 4:51Speaker 1: on Lizzie and Sarah. Okay, if you remember, police had
- 4:57Speaker 1: said they found DNA from run of Roy Deadman's daughters
- 5:02Speaker 1: and from a man named Russell Underhill who was connected
- 5:07Speaker 1: to the Deadman's Okay, they found their DNA on items
- 5:11Speaker 1: in the backpacks from Asha. Okay, guys, guess what. A
- 5:16Speaker 1: man reported to police that while at a house party
- 5:20Speaker 1: back in two thousand, he saw Lizzie one of the daughters.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Sarah was there also, but Lizzie was upset and intoxicated,
- 5:30Speaker 1: and he went over and talked to her, and while
- 5:33Speaker 1: talking to the man, he said, she said, excuse me,
- 5:38Speaker 1: I killed Asha. Degree. The man then said, Sarah Deadman
- 5:43Speaker 1: got pissed off and told Lizzie to shut the f up. Okay, guys,
- 5:51Speaker 1: that's a big deal. Don't know why I waited so
- 5:53Speaker 1: long to go to police, but they have given him
- 5:56Speaker 1: a polygraph test and he passed, so police have no
- 6:01Speaker 1: reason to believe that he is lying. Okay, that's a
- 6:06Speaker 1: big deal, guys. Now, the new search warrant says that
- 6:10Speaker 1: police believe there's evidence that Lizzie and Sarah and Roy
- 6:15Speaker 1: Deadman engaged in obstruction of justice in regard to Asha's disappearance. Now,
- 6:21Speaker 1: three search warrants were executed last week, and these warrants
- 6:25Speaker 1: allowed police to seize the cell phones belonging to the three.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Because guys, back in twenty twenty four, police had obtained
- 6:34Speaker 1: if part of a search warrant. They were able to
- 6:37Speaker 1: get Lizzie's iCloud messages that she had backed up to
- 6:41Speaker 1: the cloud and guys, they found several messages that, to
- 6:46Speaker 1: say the lease are very interesting and very suss Now
- 6:51Speaker 1: I'm going to read you word for word these text
- 6:54Speaker 1: messages that police put into the search warrant. So back
- 6:59Speaker 1: on September tenth, twenty twenty four, Sarah sent to her
- 7:03Speaker 1: sister Lizzie, they think it's our shirt. It's not her shirt.
- 7:08Speaker 1: She then said her mom said it wasn't hers. Sarah
- 7:12Speaker 1: again texted, I don't remember that shirt. I'm scared though.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Dad is probably going to be a huge suspect. Then
- 7:21Speaker 1: on September eleventh, Anna Lee, who's thirteen at the time
- 7:27Speaker 1: of Asha's disappearance and she is sisters to Lizzie, said
- 7:32Speaker 1: to Lizzie, you don't need to talk to anyone. I'm
- 7:35Speaker 1: at the lawyer's office now. Then Sarah said to Lizzie,
- 7:44Speaker 1: they advise we should all not talk to them. Then
- 7:49Speaker 1: she said without representation now. On September eleventh, also Lizzie
- 7:58Speaker 1: sent to her ex husband, this is going to get nothing,
- 8:03Speaker 1: but worse. I'm talking to my doctor at five to
- 8:08Speaker 1: get something from my nerves. I'm so worried, so so worried.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I mean, it's a nightmare that's going to keep getting worse.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I can see nothing good happening anytime soon. And I'm
- 8:21Speaker 1: an optimist own Her husband replied, Oh no, I hate
- 8:28Speaker 1: it for y'all. Then Lizzie said again to her ex husband,
- 8:32Speaker 1: there's no way this is going to be okay. Then
- 8:36Speaker 1: the very next day, Lizzie to her sister, said, I
- 8:41Speaker 1: just talked to David Teddy, which is the family's lawyer.
- 8:44Speaker 1: The theory is I did it accident, covered it up.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Sarah replies, no, why would it be you. Lizzie replied,
- 8:55Speaker 1: that's what he said. On September twelfth, Lizzie then again
- 9:00Speaker 1: communicated with her ex husband, I feel so horrible, so
- 9:05Speaker 1: so horrible. I don't know what to do. I caused this,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and her ex husband responded, no, you didn't. On that
- 9:14Speaker 1: same day, Lizzy message Sarah, hey, is everybody mad at me?
- 9:20Speaker 1: Sarah replied to Lizzie, nobody is, Lizzie, this is not
- 9:25Speaker 1: your fault. Then, on September twenty ninth, Lizzie to Sarah
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'm just so anxious about like what's going on behind
- 9:34Speaker 1: the scenes, Like what are they doing now, What's going
- 9:38Speaker 1: to happen to me? Since I wouldn't talk to them.
- 9:42Speaker 1: That was Lizzie referencing that when she was approached by
- 9:46Speaker 1: law enforcement on September twenty eighth, she wouldn't talk to them.
- 9:50Speaker 1: She then said, I'm afraid it's going to get worse. Well,
- 9:55Speaker 1: he told me it's going to Sarah said, replied, I know, girl,
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm a disaster. I think if they come at you again,
- 10:04Speaker 1: you just go and be compliant. That's what I'm planning
- 10:08Speaker 1: on doing. Lizzie said, I think so too, honestly. I
- 10:14Speaker 1: mean I want to do what Dad says that damn.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Sarah responded, maybe we should have let you do what
- 10:22Speaker 1: you originally wanted to do. Lizzie responds, I don't know.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I really don't know. Sarah responds, you don't want you
- 10:33Speaker 1: don't want something we do or say impact him. But
- 10:38Speaker 1: we also can't be living like this either. I mean
- 10:42Speaker 1: I told him I'm not going to do that. Lizzie replied, right,
- 10:47Speaker 1: oh you did? What did he say? Sarah responds, It's
- 10:51Speaker 1: not worth our mental health. Lizzie says, right. Sarah says
- 10:57Speaker 1: he was just like, I will call Teddy and we
- 11:00Speaker 1: can go get a polygraph with the honest people. Lizzie says,
- 11:04Speaker 1: oh okay. Sarah responds, I really just don't have it
- 11:09Speaker 1: in me to go through what you've been through. Lizzy says,
- 11:14Speaker 1: it's been hell. Sarah says, just hearing about your situation
- 11:19Speaker 1: has made me a disaster hearing about it. Lizzy says, Oh,
- 11:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Sarah says, I just can't even imagine going
- 11:29Speaker 1: through that. Lizzy says, but y'all have dealt with other
- 11:33Speaker 1: stuff that I haven't. Guys, that is some sus stuff, Okay,
- 11:42Speaker 1: that I mean they know something now. Police also said
- 11:47Speaker 1: in these new warrants that Lizzie Deadman had been deceptive
- 11:52Speaker 1: when questioned by police. Now, as of today, no arrest
- 11:57Speaker 1: had been made, and we will can continue to bring
- 12:00Speaker 1: updates as we hear about them. But guys, I want
- 12:04Speaker 1: this to be a reminder that any and all information
- 12:10Speaker 1: about a missing person should be reported to the police.
- 12:15Speaker 1: All it takes is one witness to come forward for
- 12:19Speaker 1: police to assemble the puzzle. It helps them get search warrants,
- 12:23Speaker 1: it leads them to other pieces Okay. So I hope
- 12:27Speaker 1: these new search warrants lead the police to additional evidence
- 12:32Speaker 1: and information so that they can find out what happened
- 12:36Speaker 1: to Asha and bring her home to her family. Okay, guys, remember,
- 12:44Speaker 1: go doesn't matter if you think it's wrong, if you
- 12:48Speaker 1: think it's a rumor, take it to the police. Okay.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Now let's get to today's case. Okay. Now, today's cases
- 12:59Speaker 1: are unique. Okay. They both involved two individuals who went
- 13:05Speaker 1: missing together at the same time. So it made me
- 13:09Speaker 1: wonder how often does this occur? So I decided to
- 13:14Speaker 1: dig a little deeper, and I didn't find a lot.
- 13:17Speaker 1: But here's what I found. Because there are no official
- 13:21Speaker 1: statistics specifically tracking cases where multiple people disappeared together. However,
- 13:29Speaker 1: when multiple individuals go missing at the same time, it
- 13:34Speaker 1: often involves family members, close friends, or people with a
- 13:39Speaker 1: shared connection. It means they know the people. Okay, so
- 13:47Speaker 1: let's go ahead and jump into this first case. This
- 13:52Speaker 1: is the case of Sarah and Jacob Hoggle, two young
- 13:56Speaker 1: siblings from Montgomery County, Maryland, who vanished in September twenty fourteen. Guys,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I'm going to warn you. Maybe I'm just extra emotional today,
- 14:10Speaker 1: but these cases are there a lot? On September sixth,
- 14:16Speaker 1: twenty fourteen, Troy Turner and Catherine Hogel spent the early
- 14:20Speaker 1: part of the day doing some family events with their children.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Troy had to go to lake work later that do,
- 14:28Speaker 1: so they wanted to get in some family time. We
- 14:31Speaker 1: all know what it's like when you've got to juggle work, lifetime,
- 14:35Speaker 1: you know, commitments, all of that stuff. Now, before we
- 14:40Speaker 1: get farther into this case, I need to tell you
- 14:42Speaker 1: about Catherine Hogel because I think it's very important that
- 14:47Speaker 1: everyone knows this. Catherine started showing signs in middle school
- 14:52Speaker 1: that something wasn't right. She was diagnosed with learning disabilities,
- 14:57Speaker 1: then later came concerns that she was bipolar. Now, after
- 15:01Speaker 1: high school, Catherine met Troy and they fell in love.
- 15:05Speaker 1: In two thousand and eight, she gave birth to their son, Jacob,
- 15:10Speaker 1: and this is when the signs that something was wrong
- 15:13Speaker 1: with Catherine more than just her being bipolar. Catherine started
- 15:19Speaker 1: showing troubling signs, but everyone assumed it was just normal
- 15:25Speaker 1: postpartum depression. I mean I would have thought the same thing, right.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Sarah was born in twenty ten, and concerns grew, with
- 15:34Speaker 1: things getting worse in twenty thirteen, Catherine started becoming paranoid
- 15:40Speaker 1: and thought that people were out to get her and
- 15:43Speaker 1: the family. Troy wanted to get Catherine into therapy and
- 15:47Speaker 1: get her help, but he knew she was not going
- 15:51Speaker 1: to go voluntarily. So in August of twenty thirteen, the
- 15:55Speaker 1: family got a court ordered psychiatric evaluation and was hospitalized. Okay,
- 16:03Speaker 1: Once released, everything seemed better, but by the end of
- 16:08Speaker 1: the year, Catherine again was hospitalized, this time for several weeks,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and she was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Now, after her stay,
- 16:18Speaker 1: they said Catherine seemed to be doing better. She was
- 16:21Speaker 1: taking her medication, seeing the doctor, and she seemed to
- 16:25Speaker 1: understand that she had to take care of herself and
- 16:30Speaker 1: her illness so she could be a mother to her kids.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And Catherine was released. Things, like I said, seemed to
- 16:38Speaker 1: be going well. But the family put a plan in
- 16:42Speaker 1: place and made arrangements so that Catherine was always supervised
- 16:47Speaker 1: with her children and that she was not to be
- 16:50Speaker 1: left alone with them, which, guys, that's the right kind
- 16:55Speaker 1: of plan and the right thing to do. Now, let's
- 16:59Speaker 1: go back to September six, where the family spent that
- 17:02Speaker 1: nice morning together and then Troy left for work. Later
- 17:06Speaker 1: that afternoon, after Troy went to work, Catherine was with
- 17:11Speaker 1: her family and she told her father she was going
- 17:14Speaker 1: to go grab a pizza and borrowed her father's car. Now, Jacob,
- 17:20Speaker 1: like most little boys, wanted to go with his mom
- 17:22Speaker 1: to get pizza. I mean, who doesn't want to hang
- 17:24Speaker 1: out with mom and who doesn't want to go to
- 17:26Speaker 1: the pizza place? Right now? Catherine returned several hours later
- 17:32Speaker 1: and said that she had left Jacob at a friend's
- 17:35Speaker 1: house for a sleepover. Catherine then, along with her father, Sarah,
- 17:45Speaker 1: her daughter, and Catherine's older son, all went back to
- 17:49Speaker 1: their apartment. Now, Troy returned home from work around midnight
- 17:54Speaker 1: on September seventh, and being that he was exhausted, he
- 17:59Speaker 1: went to Okay. Now, the next morning, Catherine's dad left
- 18:05Speaker 1: her his job, and not much later Troy wake up
- 18:08Speaker 1: and realized that Jacob and Sarah were not in the home,
- 18:14Speaker 1: but the oldest son was and he needed to get
- 18:17Speaker 1: to school. So Troy got him dressed and got him
- 18:21Speaker 1: off to school. He grew concerned, called nine one one
- 18:26Speaker 1: and was like, my wife, the car and the younger
- 18:29Speaker 1: kids are gone. Well. While on the phone, Katherine arrived
- 18:34Speaker 1: back at home, he saw her pull up in the driveway,
- 18:37Speaker 1: so he got off the phone, said things are great,
- 18:40Speaker 1: but Catherine had arrived home without their children. Now, she
- 18:48Speaker 1: told Troy that she had taken the children to a
- 18:51Speaker 1: new daycare center that was having a trial program. Now,
- 18:55Speaker 1: they had been looking at daycrees and programs. Troy was like,
- 19:01Speaker 1: you know, we were looking. But Troy said, okay, got it, Okay.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Now this thing was she couldn't tell the daycare's exact
- 19:17Speaker 1: location or contact information. And guys, this race concerns with Troy,
- 19:23Speaker 1: I mean with me, I've got red flags all over
- 19:26Speaker 1: the place. And Troy later said that as the day progressed,
- 19:32Speaker 1: Catherine's explanations became increasingly more inconsistent. So they jumped in
- 19:39Speaker 1: the car and they drove around trying to find the daycare.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Catherine could not remember where it was, the name of
- 19:49Speaker 1: the daycare or even the phone number. Guys, my heart,
- 19:57Speaker 1: just my heart beat just I can only imagine Troy's
- 20:02Speaker 1: panic in that moment. Here You've put together a plan
- 20:06Speaker 1: to keep your kids safe, damn you know. Now, realizing
- 20:12Speaker 1: something was terribly wrong, Troy attempted to take Catherine to
- 20:17Speaker 1: the police station, However, she fled and she remained missing
- 20:22Speaker 1: for several days before she was located and arrested. Guys,
- 20:28Speaker 1: despite extensive surges, Sarah and Jacob have not been found. Now.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Catherine was initially charged with misdemeanor offenses, but was later
- 20:41Speaker 1: indicted on two counts of murder in twenty seventeen. Now,
- 20:47Speaker 1: over the years, Catherine was repeatedly deemed incompetent to stand
- 20:54Speaker 1: trial due to her mental health condition. In November twenty
- 20:59Speaker 1: twenty two, a judge dismissed the murder charges, citing Maryland's
- 21:04Speaker 1: laws that limit the time a defendant can be held
- 21:08Speaker 1: incompetent without a trial. Now, Catherine does remain in a
- 21:14Speaker 1: psychiatric facility, and this case has sparked huge discussions about
- 21:21Speaker 1: the intersection of mental health and the legal system, because, guys,
- 21:27Speaker 1: we shouldn't dismiss the case. In my opinion, it can
- 21:31Speaker 1: stay there until she's deemed competent, because who knows it
- 21:36Speaker 1: could happen with the right medication and therapy. Now. Catherine's mom, Lindsey,
- 21:42Speaker 1: constantly asked Catherine to tell her where the kids are,
- 21:47Speaker 1: but doesn't get an answer. Catherine told her dad that
- 21:51Speaker 1: their kids are fine and that they are alive, but
- 21:55Speaker 1: when he asked her for more details, she doesn't respond. Now.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Since then, Troy has been unwavering in his efforts to
- 22:06Speaker 1: locate them and seek justice. In the immediate aftermath, Troy
- 22:12Speaker 1: actively participated in search operations. He was out distributing missing
- 22:18Speaker 1: person flyers, launched a Facebook campaign because, guys, all he
- 22:24Speaker 1: wants to do is know where his children are. Now.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Over the past decade, Troy has organized annual vigils to
- 22:35Speaker 1: honor Sarah. Excuse me, Sarah and Jacob, I almost sneezed, guys.
- 22:42Speaker 1: He wants to ensure the public attention remains focused on
- 22:46Speaker 1: their case. He consistently engages with the media, sharing his
- 22:51Speaker 1: story because he wants to keep the community informed and involved.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Now this emotional toll, Troy has attended numerous court proceedings
- 23:05Speaker 1: related to the case, advocating for his children and seeking accountability. Guys,
- 23:12Speaker 1: can you imagine how he feels every day of his life?
- 23:20Speaker 1: Lady and Gray says, this must be horrendous for the father. Guys,
- 23:24Speaker 1: it's got to be horrendous for the father. Also, I
- 23:28Speaker 1: can only imagine what her dad thinks because he let
- 23:34Speaker 1: her take Jacob to go get pizza. Okay, he's got
- 23:42Speaker 1: to have tremendous guilt. Now. Like I said, Troy has worked,
- 23:51Speaker 1: you know, very hard. He's a vocal advocate for legislation reform.
- 23:56Speaker 1: He is working tiresly to address an amends Maryland's competency laws,
- 24:02Speaker 1: which currently mandate that felony charges be dismissed if the
- 24:07Speaker 1: defendant remains incompetent to stand trial for five years.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Now.
- 24:13Speaker 1: He wants to prevent similar situations from hindering justice in future. Now,
- 24:18Speaker 1: what I don't know is just because they dismiss it,
- 24:21Speaker 1: are they dismissing it with prejudice or without? Because if
- 24:27Speaker 1: it's without prejudice, they can come back and refile it. Now,
- 24:33Speaker 1: like I said, as of today, Sarah and Jacob's whereabouts
- 24:36Speaker 1: remain unknown. I, by reading everything, believe law enforcement thinks
- 24:44Speaker 1: something horrific happened to them. Now, Like I said, Troy
- 24:50Speaker 1: continues to seek answers and justice for his children. So
- 24:55Speaker 1: if you have any information regarding Sarah and Jacob, please
- 25:01Speaker 1: contact the Montgomery County Police at three one, two, seven
- 25:06Speaker 1: nine eight thousand. Guys, like an osious case, one little
- 25:11Speaker 1: piece of information. Did somebody see Catherine driving around that
- 25:18Speaker 1: morning see her car somewhere. That information could lead to
- 25:24Speaker 1: where she possibly was. We didn't have all of the
- 25:27Speaker 1: doorbell cameras and license plate readers back then like we
- 25:31Speaker 1: do now, so eyewitness is gonna be what's key.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Now.
- 25:40Speaker 1: This next case, guys, is just is heartbreaking and earth shattering.
- 25:51Speaker 1: This case is out of a Holtville at Alabama, where
- 25:56Speaker 1: authorities are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of forty
- 26:00Speaker 1: two year old Susan Osborne and her fifteen year old son,
- 26:05Speaker 1: Evan Shartrand. The mother and son were last heard from
- 26:09Speaker 1: on May twenty ninth, twenty seventeen, at their home where
- 26:14Speaker 1: they lived with Susan's second husband of four years, Jerry
- 26:18Speaker 1: Marshall Osborne. Guys, they have not been heard from again now.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Susan's family, lived out of state, became concerned after two
- 26:29Speaker 1: months without contact. They reported Susan and Evan missing on
- 26:34Speaker 1: July twenty ninth, twenty seventeen. Guys, that is two months.
- 26:41Speaker 1: That is a long time. I am not shaming the
- 26:44Speaker 1: family because guys, we get busy, things are going on
- 26:49Speaker 1: in life, and I mean I haven't spoke to my brother.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I don't think in at least a month, month and
- 26:56Speaker 1: a half, So it does happen now. They said Susan
- 27:02Speaker 1: had never gone more than her day without calling or
- 27:04Speaker 1: texting her phone. But they thought maybe she lost her phone,
- 27:10Speaker 1: she broke it. She doesn't have money to pay the bill.
- 27:15Speaker 1: They just didn't know. So her mother did the next
- 27:19Speaker 1: best thing. She mailed her a letter, good old snow mail, guys.
- 27:25Speaker 1: The letter was returned. That's what made them report her missing. Now, Guys,
- 27:36Speaker 1: After they reported her missing, they found out her two
- 27:41Speaker 1: cherished dogs were found at an animal shelter. They had
- 27:45Speaker 1: been dropped off there on June twelfth by none other
- 27:51Speaker 1: than Jerry. Okay, Jerry, that's sus Okay. Now, Susan did
- 27:58Speaker 1: leave behind a daughter who lived with her grandparents. So
- 28:03Speaker 1: when Susan got divorced, she took two of her children
- 28:09Speaker 1: with her. The older one went to live with her grandparents. Okay,
- 28:14Speaker 1: but they have said she would never voluntarily abandon her
- 28:20Speaker 1: other child. Okay. Now, when the authorities arrived to investigate
- 28:26Speaker 1: and talk to Jerry, Jerry told them that Susan had
- 28:30Speaker 1: left him on May twenty ninth, and that a man
- 28:33Speaker 1: had picked her up. Really, Jerry, and you didn't think
- 28:38Speaker 1: to call her family and say, hey, Susan left. Have
- 28:44Speaker 1: you heard anything. I want to make sure she's okay.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I mean, even if you're pissed because she left you
- 28:49Speaker 1: for another man. Guys. Also, he was doing a deep
- 28:54Speaker 1: cleaning of the house, and I just want to say,
- 28:57Speaker 1: what man does a deep claiming when his wife runs off?
- 29:04Speaker 1: Okay now. He also claimed that that man returned the
- 29:11Speaker 1: next day to remove furniture and other belongings of Susan's,
- 29:16Speaker 1: though Susan's car was left behind. Jerry, I'm going to
- 29:22Speaker 1: just say I don't believe you. If you want to
- 29:26Speaker 1: come at me, come on at me, just come at me,
- 29:31Speaker 1: because not only are you sus I'm going to say
- 29:36Speaker 1: the police said you were doing a deep cleaning, because
- 29:38Speaker 1: you've said you were doing a deep cleaning. Oh, I see,
- 29:41Speaker 1: lady in Gray's already there. He didn't even do a
- 29:45Speaker 1: deep cleaning, so maybe he doesn't know what cleaning is. Okay, now, guys,
- 29:51Speaker 1: this is important. Shortly before Susan went missing, she discovered
- 29:59Speaker 1: Jerry had lied to her. He wasn't who she thought
- 30:03Speaker 1: she was. She found out he previously worked as an
- 30:06Speaker 1: escort advertising his services online. Now she thought he was
- 30:12Speaker 1: still working as an escort because she recognized his tattoos
- 30:17Speaker 1: in photos she found online, and she confided in her
- 30:22Speaker 1: best friend via email about this because she was concerned
- 30:27Speaker 1: that Jerry was still escorting. Okay, she said she wanted
- 30:31Speaker 1: to leave him. Then again, like women, we do this
- 30:37Speaker 1: all the time. I've done it. We believe them, we
- 30:42Speaker 1: loved them, and we try to work it out. Okay,
- 30:47Speaker 1: and she did that. She said she still loved him. Okay. Now.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Investigators later found that the home had been completely renovated
- 31:00Speaker 1: repainted after her disappearance. Now Jerry had ripped up carpet,
- 31:05Speaker 1: replaced the hardwoods, and he said it was because Susan
- 31:09Speaker 1: had spray painted vulgar phrases on the walls before she left. Really, dude,
- 31:17Speaker 1: why would she spray paint vulgar on her own walls? Really,
- 31:21Speaker 1: this was a relatively new home. Okay. Now, guys, this
- 31:27Speaker 1: guy just I just want to reach out and slap him.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Neighbors said Jerry was burning furniture on his property in
- 31:34Speaker 1: the summer of twenty seventeen, and Jerry replaced the home
- 31:38Speaker 1: security system on June first, erasing any footage from the time.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Susan and Evan disappeared. Now, I know this is not
- 31:48Speaker 1: enough to arrest the man and maybe indict him, but damn,
- 31:53Speaker 1: can't you find something to charge him with something? I mean,
- 31:57Speaker 1: can you wrest him for being a dumbass? Okay? Because
- 32:00Speaker 1: this is highly suspicious okay, And he said he was
- 32:05Speaker 1: cleaning up We know he was cleaning up a crime
- 32:07Speaker 1: and scene right now. Since the disappearance, authorities have executed
- 32:13Speaker 1: multiple search warrants and conducted forensic examinations on the property.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Cadaver dogs were brought to the home. Guys, Cadaver dogs
- 32:23Speaker 1: alerted investigators to a fifty gallon drum that had been
- 32:28Speaker 1: burnt and things had been burned inside it, but sadly,
- 32:32Speaker 1: it had burned to the point nothing could be identified,
- 32:37Speaker 1: not even potential bone fragments. But it was enough for
- 32:40Speaker 1: the cadaver dogs to smell something. Now, investigators found approximately
- 32:48Speaker 1: twenty bloodstains which were sent for DNA testing. However, due
- 32:56Speaker 1: to the cleaning agent to use, the DNA results were
- 32:59Speaker 1: incoc inclusive. Now, they brought in a heavy duty luminal
- 33:04Speaker 1: machine and guys, they set the house lit up like
- 33:08Speaker 1: a slaughterhouse. I mean, guys, if you don't know what
- 33:13Speaker 1: a slaughterhouse is let me educate you. So where they
- 33:16Speaker 1: slaughter animals to make meat? Okay, you get that shit everywhere?
- 33:21Speaker 1: Blood sprays everywhere. For them to say it looks like
- 33:24Speaker 1: a slaughterhouse, that means blood sprayed everywhere. So we're talking
- 33:28Speaker 1: to people, okay, I want to know. How is that
- 33:32Speaker 1: not enough circumstantial evidence to at least arrest him, Take
- 33:37Speaker 1: him down to the precinct and sweat him, Lie to
- 33:43Speaker 1: him and tell him you've got DNA that you know
- 33:46Speaker 1: he did it. Do what you normally do. Light to
- 33:50Speaker 1: them to get him to do it now, Lady and
- 33:53Speaker 1: Grace's could they get warrants for his phone and other tech?
- 33:58Speaker 1: Absolutely didn't see anywhere that they had. But I think
- 34:04Speaker 1: that's enough circumstantial evidence. Why else would somebody's home walls
- 34:10Speaker 1: look like a slaughterhouse. You're not bringing in a pig
- 34:14Speaker 1: in your house and slaughtering it to make bacon or
- 34:16Speaker 1: pork chops. You're not bringing a cow in and slaughtering
- 34:20Speaker 1: it to make hamburger, mate or steak. There is no
- 34:24Speaker 1: effing reason why a home's walls should look like a slaughterhouse.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And if that is not enough to bring him in,
- 34:33Speaker 1: where you lie to him and tell him you got DNA.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Then something is wrong with the system. Okay, just gonna
- 34:43Speaker 1: say it now. Authorities have also followed up on several
- 34:48Speaker 1: leads and tips, but none have led to conclusive answers. Oh, guys,
- 34:54Speaker 1: I have a dog trying to sneak in here because
- 34:57Speaker 1: it's like negative fourteen windshill outs, so they want to
- 35:01Speaker 1: come and hang out with me. Now, there has been
- 35:05Speaker 1: no activity on Susan's credit cards, phone, or social media
- 35:09Speaker 1: since she vanished. Guys, Evans prescriptions have not been refilled,
- 35:14Speaker 1: and he needs these medications, and he missed an oral
- 35:19Speaker 1: surgery appointment that was scheduled shortly, you know, right after
- 35:24Speaker 1: he disappeared. And he was supposed to be starting his
- 35:27Speaker 1: sophomore year at Holtville High School in the fall. Guys,
- 35:32Speaker 1: no other schools have requested his transcript transcripts Jerry Osborne. Now,
- 35:43Speaker 1: law enforcement officials have conducted extensive searches in interviews, No
- 35:48Speaker 1: arrests have been made, no remains have been recovered. Now
- 35:53Speaker 1: Jerry Osborne is considered a person of interest in the case,
- 35:58Speaker 1: but he maintains his inness sense. Investigators do say they
- 36:04Speaker 1: believe foul play is involved. They do not think Susan
- 36:08Speaker 1: grabbed her son and took off with Evan. I mean,
- 36:12Speaker 1: let's talk about the blood splatter again, oh, lady, and
- 36:16Speaker 1: Gray asked, what about Jasper. So, Jasper is currently hanging
- 36:22Speaker 1: out in his crate on a knife soft cushy bed,
- 36:27Speaker 1: and I take him out every now and then to
- 36:29Speaker 1: go to the bathroom because he didn't like the cold
- 36:32Speaker 1: weather much and for some reason, he doesn't want to
- 36:35Speaker 1: peeer poop out in the cold weather. He is a
- 36:39Speaker 1: very spoiled and pampered goat. Okay, So Now, at the
- 36:45Speaker 1: time of their disappearance, Susan was forty two, brown hair
- 36:49Speaker 1: and blue eyes. She is five foot three weighed one
- 36:52Speaker 1: hundred and twenty pounds. Evan was fourteen, brown hair, blue eyes.
- 36:57Speaker 1: He's five foot seven and weighs a high earn sixty pounds. Guys,
- 37:02Speaker 1: As a mom who has two sons that are taller
- 37:04Speaker 1: than me, I love that Evan is five foot seven
- 37:09Speaker 1: at fourteen, and his poor mom is only side foot three.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I love everything about that. It's kind of cool to
- 37:17Speaker 1: have to look up to your boys.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Now.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Jerry Osborne, as of twenty twenty four, lived about thirty
- 37:24Speaker 1: minutes from Holtville. Guys, sit down, hold on to your chair.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Jerry lives and is engaged to a woman that lives
- 37:35Speaker 1: with her and her small children. And guys, I just
- 37:38Speaker 1: have to say, lady, I do not know you. I
- 37:42Speaker 1: don't know your name. I couldn't find it. But if
- 37:44Speaker 1: you somehow see this or listen to it on the
- 37:48Speaker 1: podcast apps, please get the hell out while you still can.
- 37:56Speaker 1: They do not change their spots. Okay. If they kill
- 37:59Speaker 1: one once, they will kill again. Okay. That I believe
- 38:04Speaker 1: is a fact. I don't know if it's a fact,
- 38:06Speaker 1: but it's Terry's fact. So I want to offer to
- 38:09Speaker 1: you if you need help getting out. You can call
- 38:12Speaker 1: a local nonprofit to help, or you can send me
- 38:16Speaker 1: an email at Terry at tcwtmedia dot com, or you
- 38:21Speaker 1: can send me a private message on any of the
- 38:24Speaker 1: social media platforms. I will find you help. I will
- 38:28Speaker 1: help you get the hell out, Okay, So please, before
- 38:34Speaker 1: I wind up having to do a case about you
- 38:38Speaker 1: and your children. Now, another sad fact I want you
- 38:43Speaker 1: to all remember is that Susan has a daughter and
- 38:47Speaker 1: she's having to live each day wondering about what happened
- 38:51Speaker 1: to her mom and her brother. So she is there
- 38:54Speaker 1: with her family and all the friends, going to bed
- 38:57Speaker 1: each night wondering where mom and her brother are and
- 39:01Speaker 1: what her stepfather did to them. Now, the district attorney Holteville,
- 39:08Speaker 1: Alabama not a fan of yours because he said they
- 39:13Speaker 1: cannot move forward with charges until they can find a
- 39:17Speaker 1: body or someone calls and gives information that is verifiable
- 39:23Speaker 1: about what happened. Okay, district attorney, I know other district
- 39:31Speaker 1: attorneys have one cases without bodies and with circumstantial evidence
- 39:37Speaker 1: slaughter walls that much slaughter If that I mean, if
- 39:43Speaker 1: I was sitting on the jury with all of that information,
- 39:47Speaker 1: I would be able to convict beyond a reasonable doubt. Okay,
- 39:53Speaker 1: beyond a reasonable doubt, Samy Sunshine. Just as do we
- 40:00Speaker 1: know if he have ever ever explained the house being
- 40:02Speaker 1: lit up? The police haven't said anything about that, and
- 40:06Speaker 1: it hasn't been reported, So that's probably something I would
- 40:11Speaker 1: say they would probably keep close to their chest so
- 40:14Speaker 1: that the information could still be used in court. Now
- 40:18Speaker 1: I can tell you on True Crime and Wine Time,
- 40:21Speaker 1: we have a retired law enforcement officer who's going to
- 40:26Speaker 1: be on this show. I think it's March thirteenth. We're
- 40:30Speaker 1: going to ask him some questions about why police have
- 40:34Speaker 1: to hold things closed to the chest. I speculate on why,
- 40:40Speaker 1: especially in missing person cases. But I wish they would
- 40:45Speaker 1: give us more. But I want to implore anyone. This
- 40:50Speaker 1: district attorney says he needs more information. I don't know
- 40:53Speaker 1: if he needs us to give him a map. Maybe
- 40:56Speaker 1: if somebody loves to do PowerPoint present day, let's find
- 41:01Speaker 1: all the evidence. Maybe we do an FOIFOIA and get
- 41:06Speaker 1: as much information as we can. Maybe we need to
- 41:09Speaker 1: put together a presentation and send it the district attorney.
- 41:13Speaker 1: I mean, I can google what a body looks like
- 41:17Speaker 1: and put the body on the presentation. Because there's enough
- 41:21Speaker 1: there to take this guy in and sweat him. Take
- 41:25Speaker 1: him in there after so many hours. He's gonna tell you.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I mean, you can lie to him, break him down.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Gets bad cop, good cop? Come on, don't let me
- 41:37Speaker 1: tell you how to do your job. Okay, Now, I
- 41:41Speaker 1: want to ask anyone if you have information about the
- 41:45Speaker 1: disappearance of Susan Osborne and Evan Shartrad Shartrand, please contact
- 41:51Speaker 1: the Elmore County Sheriff's Office at three three four five
- 41:56Speaker 1: six seven five five four six because the district attorney
- 42:00Speaker 1: needs us to do their job. Okay, and apparently police probably,
- 42:05Speaker 1: I mean, he probably is not talking to them because
- 42:08Speaker 1: he's gotten an attorney. He's refusing to talk. He has
- 42:11Speaker 1: that right, but you've got to be able to find
- 42:15Speaker 1: something you can charge him with. Okay, did he sell
- 42:18Speaker 1: her car without her permission? That would be something, right.
- 42:22Speaker 1: I mean, my brain is doing so many things, and
- 42:26Speaker 1: it's another one of those cases. If I have the time,
- 42:30Speaker 1: and if I live there, I would be wanting to
- 42:32Speaker 1: investigate it. And yes, I am trying to find another
- 42:37Speaker 1: private investigation firm to finish getting my PI license because
- 42:41Speaker 1: the firm I was going to go under the guy
- 42:45Speaker 1: has a major heart attack and he decided to close
- 42:48Speaker 1: his practice. So if any private investigators see this or
- 42:52Speaker 1: hear this, and you want someone in Texas to do
- 42:55Speaker 1: some of this stuff, reach out call me now. Also,
- 43:00Speaker 1: please share the missing person flyers from our social media
- 43:03Speaker 1: pages and a link to this episode. The more people
- 43:07Speaker 1: who see and here help gets the word out, because
- 43:13Speaker 1: apparently in Hopeville, Alabama, they need a little bit of help. Okay, now,
- 43:19Speaker 1: da in Hopeville, Alabama, if you want to call me
- 43:21Speaker 1: and explain to me, why you need more information. I
- 43:25Speaker 1: am not going to pretend I know everything, so I
- 43:27Speaker 1: would love for you to educate me. Okay, can you
- 43:30Speaker 1: a call message me? Okay, So please share the flyers now.
- 43:36Speaker 1: The flyers are all on our new Facebook page, Midday Missing.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Also they are on Terry True Crime. They are still
- 43:45Speaker 1: up on True Crime and Wine Time probably through next week.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Then they will only be on Midday Missing. As I
- 43:52Speaker 1: mentioned last week, Midday Missing will not be a place
- 43:55Speaker 1: that I post anything funny. It's not going to be
- 43:59Speaker 1: a page like that. It is only a page for
- 44:02Speaker 1: us to share the missing person flyers from cases we cover.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Missing person cases that are sent to us were posted
- 44:10Speaker 1: on other credible sites that we share. If we get
- 44:14Speaker 1: a missing person post from someone, we will verify that
- 44:18Speaker 1: the person is really missing before we share it, unless
- 44:22Speaker 1: it's from a credible source that we followed and we
- 44:26Speaker 1: want to reshare their information. Okay, Now I have a
- 44:31Speaker 1: Tip of the day. We're going to start doing Terry's
- 44:33Speaker 1: Tip of the Day because, as we all know, Terry
- 44:37Speaker 1: has lots of opinions, and I think I have lots
- 44:39Speaker 1: of tips. So I wanted to tell you what to
- 44:42Speaker 1: do if your child is missing and you suspect your
- 44:46Speaker 1: spouse or left one, similar to what you do if
- 44:50Speaker 1: just someone's missing, but you want to contact law enforcement immediately.
- 44:54Speaker 1: But if your child is missing and you think a
- 44:59Speaker 1: partner had something to do with it, that's partner you know,
- 45:01Speaker 1: that's domestic violence. When you called or report them missing,
- 45:06Speaker 1: you want to supply detailed information as to why you
- 45:11Speaker 1: think they are involved. You can't just say, hey, my
- 45:15Speaker 1: son John is missing. I think baby daddy Jack do
- 45:19Speaker 1: did it. You need to say I think Jack did it.
- 45:24Speaker 1: He has a history of abusing my son, emotionally, financially,
- 45:30Speaker 1: abusing me. He's threatened to do it before. He's threatened
- 45:35Speaker 1: to hurt me. Where I'll hurt the most, that's killing
- 45:39Speaker 1: your child or taking your child. So please have detailed information.
- 45:45Speaker 1: And guys, do not feel embarrassed or ashamed. Okay, worst
- 45:52Speaker 1: case scenario, you were wrong and the person is found safe.
- 45:57Speaker 1: But guys, I'm here to tell you I would rather
- 46:01Speaker 1: my loved one't be safe. Then me be sorry because
- 46:05Speaker 1: I didn't say anything because I was embarrassed. Okay, that's
- 46:12Speaker 1: my tip of the day. Also, I want to remind
- 46:15Speaker 1: you if you suspect a loved one, or if yourself
- 46:18Speaker 1: is suffering from a mental health crisis and you are
- 46:21Speaker 1: in immediate danger or immediate danger to someone else, please
- 46:27Speaker 1: call nine one one now. If it's not an immediate
- 46:32Speaker 1: dangerous situation, you can call the National Alliance on Mental
- 46:36Speaker 1: Illness at eight hundred nine five zero six' two six.'
