- Peter + Joe: It was big. honestly, I listened to my gut. Okay. My gut has been very good to me in life. And when I trust it, you know, things worked out, but it was really just a passion, too. it was a burning desire to get this. I knew it was needed. The idea came about just driving by a golf course. Saw this lady golfer. Bending over to pick up her club after she got done putting. And it took her five, six seconds. It was not a smooth bend over and grab my clubs. I'm just sitting there. There's gotta be something. So that's a magic word. There's gotta be a better way. Hey, welcome to another edition of the Pitch the Product Podcast. Today I have a very special guest, Joe Caddy. What's your what's your real last name, Joe? Stumpo. Stumpo. Joe Stumpo. So I call you Joe Caddy because you came up with a really cool product idea. one that speaks to me because I have had an L four five problem since I was twenty-one years old. you know, picking up balls, picking up clubs, picking up anything below the knees. Like it for me is just I stopped doing that about 15 years ago. So and likewise L four five herniation. Okay. Yeah. So I've I've I have a yeah, a chip on one side of the disc. So or on the verb, right? But anyway, so you called me, I don't know, probably about a year and a half ago, two years ago. Yeah, close to. And you came in and you had this idea about how to pick up a golf club with the product. So today's episode is sponsored to you by Joe Caddy, a golf. product that helps you if you have back issues pick up your golf clubs when you put them down especially when you're going around the green and you pick you bring three or four clubs with you to get the right chip shot onto the green than your putter. You never know what's gonna happen. In my world, I bring the right act the you know the right the right tools for the job. And this is the tool that you you need to have with you. It's in your pocket. And not only is it sponsored today by Joe Caddy, you have Joe Caddy here himself. So Joe, welcome in. Thank you. Great to be here. Awesome. So help me understand who's this for. Like let's let's just dive into the your product specifics. Like tell me who your client or who your audience looks like. anyone with back pain, knee pains, any type of disability, challenges bending over. Yep. And just to make it easy. To make it easy. It's it's very convenient, fits in your pocket. Trying to pull one down here. So it's well packaged, comes in a nice box, really explains what it does. But you're probably looking this box going, wait a minute, what is this going to do for me? So while I'm unpackaging this, tell me the quick story you as as we were just getting into the podcast. Yeah. tell me about the conversation you had with the doctor or someone. You showed him the product, he didn't get it, and all of a sudden he did get it. Tell me that moment. Well, you know, some people say, Well, I don't need this thing. I can bend over, pick up my own clubs. Well, I guarantee there's somebody that you know that probably needs this thing. And As reluctant as he was, I told him, I said, Listen, it's not for everyone, but it's used to help in case you need it. You got a nice putter, you don't want to scratch, step on to pick it up. Had this with me, pulled it out, and he's like, wow, this is this is really nice. So here, I'll let you do the demonstration. Well, that is light as a feather. I mean, without fifty two launch, I think my prototype was workable, but without your guys' help to finish this, the grip is outstanding. We did the old school grip 80s where I grew up and because this is the only grip. Yeah, we customized that grip completely. That's not something off. It's the old it's perfect. It's got everything that I grew up with in a golf book. I was gonna say it feel it felt really good. You know, I started with a junior grip, but it was too long, too wide, but the way you guys came out and this claw here that you guys helped me design. How hard was that little claw? How many iterations did that take? Like because I I asked that because When you see something so simple, right? When you see something simple, the reality is there's a lot of hard work behind. Correct. Right. And and that's what I I focus on. It's never the hard things, it's the simple things that you have to really focus on. So just explain. Like that just looks like a claw to me, but what is that? How did we get there? Well, because not all metal's metallic. And you're not being able to pick it up. So this claw actually comes off. Cause we need something for graphite shafts which clientele that mainly targeting is a little bit older and they go towards graphite shafts. Right, yeah. They're lighter. So the magnet's strong enough and it's very sleek. And the finishing touch on it you guys help with very smooth. They'll stick to the post of the golf cart really nice. But then we're said, whoa, we have graphite clubs too. How are we gonna be able to pick this up? So, you know, with your guys's help, we have this attachment. Slides on really nice and easy, slides off very easy. And Extend it down, picks up the bottom of the club, slides up the sider part of the shaft, picks it up with these, and glasses down, fits in your pocket. So I might be embellishing here a little bit, but apparently we needed to show this in a back pocket. And apparently I was chosen, probably because I have the best physique around here to to, you know, for a good butt shot, you know. but this fit in my back pocket. And I had they taught me how to learn that. And look at I just learned something new about this as well. I did not know that this came apart. And that is pretty cool. Yeah. And I can only imagine the conversation that goes around with how much friction's too much friction, how much comes off a golf club when you snap two parts together without having a screw. Yeah. so look at kudos to my team for like taking the little details to heart because anybody this is the difference. You said it right the beginning, and this is for education. Anybody that's looking to buy a product, it's so easy to say, I can just do something like this. It is so hard to turn it into a product that works. Consistently all the time. And that is where I appreciate you giving us credit because look at that grip, the size, the weight. I know I remember when it came in here, this was like a bigger project. You could have could have got all this off the shelf, but customizing it is what makes us a product. So absolutely. so what what was the And the claw too? I mean, it wasn't the first run at it because we are dealing with some older people challenges, like I said, and strength. We couldn't make this magnet too strong. Right. We have to take it off the club head. We couldn't make the cloth too hard to take off. Right, yeah. Because you know the age. So take the cloth, you don't need it. And if you don't have graphite clubs, you're never gonna need that. So that just put it in your bag for later. You know? And either way fits in your pocket conveniently. Not something you need to golf with. I like I don't carry an extra ball in my pocket 'cause I I just you know, I'm I'm all into the game. No. because I just don't like having you know, even like keys, wallets. I don't like have anything in my pocket when I'm when I'm playing. So when I had that in the back pocket in my back pocket, it was really comfortable. Yeah. Like I didn't even notice it there. It wasn't getting in my way. It was like easy to grab out of my pocket and use when I need to. In fact, a couple of times it was so convenient that I forgot it was my pocket. I'm about to bend down and I'm like, wait a minute. I got Joe Candy. Well and the thing is with that is golfers are like that. You know Superstitious, they want things the way they want it, and anything that's out of the ordinary or you feel something weird in your golf swing, you're probably not gonna like it or use it. But the convenience of it, yeah, definitely fitting in your pocket where you can grab it with these and cool. It's nice. so all right, through the journey, how did you know that this was an idea that like where where along the way did you say, wait a minute, I I I don't Just have an idea. I have something that needs to be a product and I need to bring it to market. Like that's a that's a huge step to decide. It was big. honestly, I listened to my gut. Right. And you'll probably hit the next one, so I'll let you keep going. So there there's gotta be a better way. Then what did you do? So the thoughts are just going in your head, you know, how do I do this? How do I do this? And I went old school. said, I gotta put ink on paper. I gotta see what this was like. So I drew it out. Then I went to Home Depot. And I got some pieces together. I bought some back scratchers to start this thing because they are telescoping. So it was a combination of a few things that we picked up along the way and pieced it together. And the prototype I had, it was a disc at the end. It worked, but it wasn't smooth. Man, I can't even tell you how important that. Processes because everyone uses the word prototype and expects this. Correct. What what did your prototype look like? Bulky. Right. Bulky. Janky. Janky. But did it prove the concept? Correct. It worked. That is it. Stop right there. Don't waste more money on trying to make something. If you prove concept, the that is like the most important thing. Like, because if if you can't prove concept to to a product, you shouldn't make it. Right. So the fact that you went out and jankied around with it and played with it in the garage and got it to work, that is a key component. Could you have paid somebody to do that? Possibly. Okay. And and I I agree, but how much money would that have cost you? Who knows? I I can tell you, it's it's thousands upon thousands of dollars and it's never what you expected. Because their head isn't what I had. Man, you can never the hardest part in life is taking what's in your head and translating it to me. Yep. Right. That's called training. And you get maybe ten percent efficiency from what your thought process is to my thought process. Yeah. Unless you have time. Right. Unless you have a process. And I think like, you know, obviously seeing a final product, if you didn't come with that base of knowledge and the proof of concept, like this would be a forever project. Correct. Yeah. We'd still be twinly eye thumbs there. Yeah. Trying to figure out. Yeah, because it's not opinions, it's facts, right? You you kind of eliminate the thousand ways that we could have still muck made this and narrowed it down to this specific product. And that just you know, that takes a little bit of patience, time. is was it was it collaborative or was it like our way, your your way? No, very collaborative with you guys. Like I said, I mean teaming up with you guys was I couldn't have done it without. I appreciate honestly. I mean when when you got your product and you sent Dan and I a text, please I I we should show this picture in here. It was yeah, go in. Great greatest picture like I've seen. We posted it. It's a proud moment. Like it and we're we're proud with every one of our clients, but this specifically You know, y you flew in, you did all the right things. This is your second second or third visit here now. Second. Second. So we're gonna we're gonna definitely you know, use you as a case study. That's why we're also putting this a podcast. But this is more about you right now. So you've got this product. Would did you before you went in the tinkering process or after you went, when did you go and discover there isn't something like this out in the market? 'Cause like when I looked at this, I was like, There's gotta be something like this. Nothing. Nothing. So that's another magic moment, right? Like that's where you kinda you start to get your gut. So was that before you went and tinkered or was that after? No, I actually the thought was in my head for a couple of years. Okay before I actually put things on paper, started working with this thing and the desire the desire just burning. Gotta do this. Like it again, it was my gut. Yeah. So that's why I put things in motion. I just said, you know what, if I just keep doing a little bit, we're gonna eventually get there. And When did you have the realization that, you know, yeah, you do a little bit at a time? I have so many people out in the world right now that are trying to do all the little bits and pieces and and but there's a moment in time where it's not a little bit. There's a big step. Like hiring us was a big step. Yeah. W when did you how do you make that decision for anybody that's out there in the entrepreneur world trying to become a Joe Caddy? So you have a prototype, you're sitting at home and say, okay, well, this might work. I don't know if it looks absolutely finished. But how do I get this thing manufactured? How do I where do I go? Where do I start? What? What do I type in Google to even search? You know, am I gonna go overseas? Am I gonna travel around, you know, the world, the country to find out who can make this for me? And fortunately you guys had the connections to do everything that, you know, it it took to get here from the prototype. And You know, just kind of the belief in I think each other seeing that hey, there's some value in this thing. Yeah. You know, and teaming up and getting a finished product with it and making it look like it's something a golfer would use. is that we don't want any cheap thing on the market. We didn't want anything with a fake grip. Right. You know, so it was ended up finding some gentleman, guess we could say this. Yeah. It didn't work out because I think I was too small of a product for him. Yeah. Yeah, he was working on bigger things and we just he helped out a little bit with design, but we never really just got anywhere. And I'm gonna I'm gonna just pause there because look at that is you know, everyone he's a great guy. I know who we're talking about, and I I will give him a lot of credit. He does an amazing job, but he's not the manufacturer. Like he cannot make things that are manufacturable. He is someone who can help you design, get the concept right, get get the proof of like what you're trying to establish. But this is this is much different, right? So yes, I love there's a lot of designers out in the world. When you hit that wall and you have a client like Joe or someone in your in your world, there's the next step. It's the professional side of making a design. It's not just designing something, it's manufacturing something. So how did you recognize that with and stay patient? Because like that's I I remember having that conversation when we first met. It's like, you know, you a lot of people call me and they're angry. Yeah. Like, I and I'm like, whoa, whoa, you you got here for a reason. But you weren't. You were pretty calm about it. So help me understand that part. What did you see in the value? Well, I think patience was a big key with this. And I told myself I've never done this before and appreciate the journey. Yeah. And that was a big thing with it. I I had to have trust. That's the reason I flew up here. I had to look you guys in the eye and you know from meeting everyone here at fifty two launch I just knew it was right. And again I listened to my gut. If my gut w said something different, you know, speak with the gut so important here. So it was really listen to that and How many how many people or how many other companies before us did you talk to, hire, work with? Like give me just one. Just one. Okay. Just one. And and it was a tough part. I'll go back to it's like, how do we manufacture this thing? Yeah. I mean I was I didn't know how much prototypes are gonna be. I didn't know how all that stuff worked. Right. I didn't know the communications. I only speak English. I don't know how to communicate to other countries around the world. And I knew there was somebody or something out there. That would make it work and help me. And like you said, the gentleman that, you know, didn't work out the first time, you know, nothing against them because if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have Yeah, I don't think I don't think we would have connected. No, absolutely. I'm glad that you guys had that connection to put us in. Look, it we you know, we're we're we're trying to prevent people, not from hiring other people. I think you have to go through that journey on your own. Your expectations are different. Right. I always say when you fail, not fail, when when something didn't work out the way you do, it's not It's not the end of the story. It's a pivot. Yeah. And then you you readjust. You know, if you're angry about it, you know, take some time, get over it, go and keep moving forward. you know, when I when I look at this and I I appreciate that this might look like it comes from one factory, but I can break this down. The grip is definitely manufactured in one place, the pole is definitely another place, the plastic injection or the plastic tool was made in another place, the magnet was purchased somewhere else, and then we put it together in assembly facility. So phenomenal I I just share that because this looks like a pretty simple product that you should be able to get off the plane in Hong Kong or in Malaysia or anywhere there's manufacturing or Taiwan and just like, hey, can you make this? And then you should be a simple answer, yes. Yeah. Alone. Right. Yeah. W wait a minute. Let me let me get that made for you. And then, you know, yeah. How many you want? A thousand, two thousand, three thousand, right? Just not the way it works. No, no. Especially for an original design like this. This is like you show me anywhere in the world that this already exists. Mm-hmm. Like If anything, we could have bought the grip off the shelf, but we can't. Why? Because that doesn't look like a golf size correct, right? So we had to make this and it's worth every penny because this is an investment in the brand. It's your first investment in the in the product, but it's your real first investment in the tool. Because when you pull this out at a golf course and anybody that's pulling this out to pick up a club, what's the first question that someone's gonna the other four party or the other three members of the of the party, what are they gonna ask? What is that? And where did you get it? Yeah. How's that work? What yeah, what what what what what what? So that's not what, it's right here. Joe Caddy, Joe Caddy dot com. Go and get yours today. This is like the the most important part. You're supporting an inventor that is transformed into an entrepreneur and is now a founder and is now a business owner. Yeah. So that's a that's a huge step. It's it was a lot. It was very surreal knowing that I had an idea in my head and To tell you the proudest day in my life was having that pilot arrive at the doorstep. And that's I showed. It showed you guys. It was I honestly got a little tear in my eye of joy when it was delivered. I was just speechless. So I just took a picture and shared it with you guys. Said thank you. Couldn't have done it without you guys here. And yeah, it was very surreal. So let's let's talk about you. We'll go back to the the was it your dentist or was it your doctor? Doctor. I don't think he was a hater, but he didn't get it, right? No, i nobody wants to be sold anything right away. Nobody wants to be sold anything right away. And we were just talking about it. Fact. Yeah. And I was like, let me just tell you about it before I I'm fine. I can pick up my own club. So all right, Doc. I get it. That's fine. So can I. Okay. However, there's days where you might not want to. Maybe you tweaked your bag. Maybe you don't want to slice it off the next hole there. So I ended up having one of these in my backpack. I was like, no, hold on, Doc. And I just showed to him. He looked at his he goes, wow. This is This is legit. And that goes with another nod to fifty two launch. The packaging was phenomenal. Looks great. Because it gets value. It tells it tells the whole story very well. I mean, we put even a plastic sleeve in there, which you probably heard me rustling around with while you were on the at the beginning of the this conversation. But yeah, packaging, man, that is that is first class. It's matted, it is thick, it is it folds nice. It'll hold up in shipping. Correct. Which is really the important part here. Mm-hmm. So that the the doctor that you presented to, is it a back doctor or general doctor or like Yeah, it was actually a pain doctor. A pain doctor. So okay. You know, I know his clients need this. That is what I was gonna get to. So how do we how did we overcome the pain doctor? Because look at you you think that any of his clients not I don't think the pain doctor needs to sell Joe Caddy. But how much more value does a pain doctor have when he says, Hey, you know, just keep this on your desk because you're gonna have how many people that golf have back pain? A lot. A lot. It it it is and I'll tell you, if you don't have it on the first hole, good luck. By the thirteenth I'm done by the third eleventh, twelfth hole. I can't even like pick up a ball anymore. I'm done. So along the way, does that like this device keeps you golfing, man? This is the part that I loved when I saw this. I love the game of golf. It was actually my first career and I wanted to get back to it in the second part of my life. And This was a design and idea I had to get there. So and that's awesome. It was honestly for the love of the game. And if I can keep people golfing more when they're retired, that makes me happy. And this isn't a product, this is a journey. Yeah. Right. That that's that's your core value is that you're trying to help people with a simple thing. Mm-hmm. Right. I didn't want another gimmick on the shelf. I said, you know what? I actually have something I can one, I can get more rounds through a golf course. Two, I can get that person retired or just loves golf. To play looking Well, look at I I just had the social media team show up here and for whatever reason the haters come out strong first. Right? It's like I heard I heard Jeff Baselist say like when they gave away free shipping, it was like having the heavy hitters come out to an all you eat all you can eat buffet. Right. So you know it like, all right, let's let's just own it. What what's gimmicky about this, right? I can pick up my own club. Correct. Why do I need another tool in my bag? Why the hell do you have like all the irons? Why do you have all the other like Wedges that you don't need. Like, I'm sorry, why do you have that range finder? Like, that's gimmicky. We all have little tools, whether it's fishing, loading up your boat or golf, loading up a golf cart. We all like our little toys. And if we can make it a little easier on you, yeah. Right. So look at to all the haters out there, you show me a bag with nine irons, nine irons and three clubs, three woods, I will say, you're right, this is a gimmick. You guys are the purest golfers I've ever met. If you have a bamboo golf club, you probably are even ahead of me on that one. So, you know, if you decide that you want to join the new ranks of golfers who are out there with their stogie holders, with their drink holders, their koozie cups and their range finders and their special sunglasses, this is far from a gimmick. This helps you get the next level product. Like it helps you keep golfing, man. That is the that is the purest thing. Yeah. Right? It's like hockey players that have to bring in someone to tie their hockey skates. They're 80 years old. They're still playing, but they can't reach their skates. They love the game. They love the game, man. Right. So they're going to have someone help them. And I've been in dressing rooms where, man, every player on there will help a senior citizen lace up his skates because they want that person to enjoy the game. Yeah. Whether they I might still hit him in the corner, but that's his needs. That's his choice. You know, I mean gotta get the stats up. But he's out of there. Whether he's productive or she's productive in the game, yeah. It really doesn't matter to them. It's just being in the game. It's and same with golf. I mean, most golfers are good. One of the hardest sports in the world, but we love being out there with our friends, being on the course in nature, exercise. So they they told me not to ask this question, but when did you change your name to Stumpo from Shiffler? Because you look like Scotty Shiffler, and I know that you guys are twins. So Scotty Shiffler, this is your twin brother. Maybe you don't, maybe you know maybe. Man, we could sneak you on any course. Just gotta get a suburban and drive on the grass, right? That is true. So that's that's cool. look at who what else? Who do you want to shout out to? Is there other products or other people that you think should have this to help you out? 'Cause I think right now you're at the stage where, you know, it's like marketing. You're you're brand new. It's a it's a des it's a casino in the desert. Nobody knows that we're you exist. How and who do you need to help you? There's nothing on the market and that's kind of the Tough part right now. Okay. Because I can't just piggyback along with, hey, there's a ball picker upper. I mean, there's a thousand ball picker. Right. Yeah. This is not what that is. You know, when you guys did the market analysis, which was more in depth than mine, which was kind of nice that and you scoured everything and it's like there's nothing out there. Yeah, it's perfect. Look at in partly find anything out there, that makes our job harder. Yeah. Because when there's other things out there, I can be better than anybody. I can start taking market share. There's nothing else out there. So I gotta be in the ball picker upper conversation, right? Like I the suction cup on the back of my putter that I can dip in and get the ball out, which sucks. It doesn't work well. Not all the time. Not all the time. But it it's just another tool. This I I I love this because again, I always bring You know, you always bring your approach club and your putter and you know while you're approaching, is it my wedge? Is it my you don't know. You're bringing two, three clubs with Yeah, exactly. And I bring the sandwich just in case. So you bend over, you know, two, three times a hole. Yeah. And that adds up. it it it's for for me, it adds up. If I can avoid it from from throughout I can get I can get through eighteen holes if I don't have to bend down. Every time my back went out on me, same herniation, no four or five. It's never been golfing. It's never been exercising, working out. It's bending over picking stuff, tying my shoe and Yeah, just taking a funny step. Yeah. I actually spent I didn't tell you guys this, but a couple months ago, I spent four weeks in bed. Carnation flared up. I took four weeks off of work, laid in bed. It was just agonizing pain. And again, it just bending over to pick something up. Yeah, I didn't have a big flare up, but July fourth weekend I did a little tweak and it's still like my calf still won't release like from so now it's like bending over bending over for anything. I'm I'm walking fine, I'm like back to normal. But like yeah, the minute I bend down I rem I remind myself that I'm not fully recovered. 'Cause it's always in your head. so if I can take that out of your head if you're having any type of same injuries, this is great for you. Well, look at that's Let let's is there anybody on the micro like what have you found from micro influencers that might be able to help us? I can call them out here. We can attack or no we can not attack them. We can attach them to the to the podcast to see if they can make an introduction, right? So I mean who's the obvious we we just called out Scotty Scheffler, he's still a little young. Come on. Come on, buddy. This is this got your product all over. That's a good point, right? If you want to bring this out for a dad's gift, this is this is perfect. Well, there's a lot of golf influencers are just out there trying to get views from funny things. And that's kind of a area I'm trying to decide. It's like, all right, do I want to get with this guy or someone that's teaching golf? You want them all. Yeah. And I'll I'll tell you why, because like our best videos, even when we do it here, are the attention funny videos, right? Yeah. If you entertain people first, and there's a good podcast that Natalia and I did a few weeks ago. If you you know it's it's Savannah Banana. We talked about that before we came in here. Like Golf is probably one of the few sports that's is entertaining, but not an entertainment sport. Right? It's good to watch. Whereas, you know, look at you just had your bears. You you made an off and not an off comment, but a very emotional comment about like, you know, there was some questionable call in the game. And, you know, is it because it was a questionable call or is it because it's entertainment and they want to keep people on their seat? They want to keep the emotion raw and real. you know, in this case, this this is real. There's no emotion. It is, it is about, you know. Entertaining people. That is your first foremost first and foremost thing. So who who out there have you to talk to? It was funny you mentioned that because great idea from a good friend of mine yesterday about the funniness and I started just this past week researching 'cause there's always bloopers on the golf course. that's so I'm working on cutting the bloopers and I could agree. Yeah. And cutting in a joke headie at the end, a comment or Why'd you trip over that club? You didn't need to do little funny things. Yeah, take all the funny clips. Yeah, that's the actually that's a great approach because if if you get the humor first, you'll get the you'll get the views second. Yeah. Look at the end of the day, even if you again, we're we're we're in a new AI world, we create so much content on A on AI. And it's not all like AI is difficult, right? It's it's like off by like five to ten degrees, which is you know, if you're the product owner and it's your baby, I can understand like wow, I don't want to show that. But The reality is scroll is real. We used to have three seconds to stop the scroll. You got milliseconds now. And it's not just that. If this if you don't get them to stop scrolling, the algorithm doesn't know they don't know why you stop scrolling. Right. So getting the attention with something that is that the language models understand will make you stop scrolling. Even if the product's wrong, I highly recommend you start doing it. It's not a me, it's a Gary Vee. Like that's just a simple thing that I can I can offer you. It does take A little bit of like swallowing the that's not my product. What am I doing? And I get it. We have a lot of people. Bad comments will come first, right? You're gonna get called a gimmick. So get prepared for it. Own it, right? And just like call yourself out on it, right? Like this is is it a gimmick or is it a is it a help? Like I've had some people, well, you need you should have done this, you should have done that. I I don't take anybody's opinion unless they write a check. If they're if they buy it for nineteen ninety nine or twenty what are you, twenty twenty nine ninety nine twenty nine ninety nine. Then, you know, realistically, that is when you can give me your opinion. Correct. Because anything short of that, this is so worth it. You've got look, it's just the magnet that we used in there. It is it's not overkill, it's what's needed to pick up a club. And that took research on my part, which, you know, I forwarded onto you guys and said, Here, here's what I have for the magnet at this time and you guys went ahead and Find one just as strong if you're You're the expert on that part, right? 'Cause you've already like I could sit here and I can have Mike or Ian or Sierra or Jada go out and test a million magnets to see which ones fail. But you already did that. Yeah. So I'd rather you like you tell me, now the hardest part is can I find that exact magnet? So now I'm gonna I we should have probably brought you a bunch of magnets that were close. You pick the one that matches what you had already tested out. That's how you go faster. Well, I already bought a bunch of magnets. you did well, that's what I got here. I mean, I was shopping on Amazon. I went to magnet direct companies. Okay. And actually I forgot the guy's name, but I really Are you the one we had to ship the magnets to China for? No, we didn't ship your magnets. Okay. No. Okay. So but you bought a bunch of magnets. Yeah, and it was just tested. Because you had to find out some of are too strong. Yes. Yeah. And you could pinch a finger, you could hurt a magnets are real people. Yeah. They're very strong. They're very strong. But there was some gentleman out in Colorado. It was ten o'clock at night, and I'm trying to tell him what I need it for without giving my idea yet, because none is protected. You know, and because, okay, all right, I get it now. And because this is what you need, and we ended up buying a six. Six different ones, you know, to test the size and everything. But I mean he was look it vital to it's not what you know, it's who you know. Right. There's there's but was just a good conversation. We hit it off well. I was just trying to pick his brain. I'd be curious now if you you did the same question and see if AI came up with the right answer. Well, 'cause it wasn't available at the time. No, it wasn't available. And look at I I guarantee you it wouldn't be, but I'll put a you know, put a ten dollar bet on it. You let me know. I'll be I'll be that it won't be. You be or you pick, right? I that'll work. Okay. We can do that. So yeah, look at I I I love this project. I love the fact that you have given us a shout out. Look at I I make this so that it is you know, it's live. Like we're not we're not recording you, we're not editing this out. you know, if there's anything that we could have done better. No. I mean I you know, that's just not a quick no to say that because, you know, we made it this far together, but really honestly I was proud I made a prototype. but I'm twiddling my thumbs at that point. I didn't know where to go, what avenue, and how to get it. I'm not great at building websites. Can't stand it. Didn't want to do it. But really just getting a finished product. I had the idea of the grip. I had everything I thought of. You had great vision that needed to be executed. But it needed to be finished. We needed value in the price. We needed value. And I'll tell you what, I was actually thinking Here's a nod to you guys too. I was gonna wrap it in a cell plane cardboard clip clip. Yeah. But the packaging is absolutely phenomenal. Beautiful. Came in nice, doesn't take up a lot of counter space. You can stack it. I I think it's worth every penny extra that you spent on the packaging just for stackability, for demonstration. And you have it on the back. The extension. So there you can throw one product up on the shelf, stack up there. You got the Joe Caddy, tells you what it is, what it does. Have you practiced stacking them yet at your house? absolutely. Okay, good. So, you know, look at I love the visuals, right? Because you already knew that this is is was it a pyramid stack or was it a like fortress? Yeah, yeah. Not a Fortnite fortress. Okay, all right. Just a nice little pyramid stack, you know. Please, yeah, you make sure you send pictures of that because like it the more of that that you can add. It you know, look people are I don't say people are not smart. I say people don't have vision clearly. When you show them the opportunity, that is when they start asking the right question. And that's the journey you're on now. We got to figure out how people see the opportunity and how they pick it up, how they want to help you sell it, how they want to be involved in it. And look at I challenge anybody out there, please reach out to Joe. Joe, where's the best place to reach you? JoeCaddie.com. Yep. Go to the website, purchase one. You're supporting a a brand new inventor, entrepreneur who's now a founder and a business owner. And that is Man, I here, like my right, right. There you go. But in the meantime, if you have a dream or an idea, it's listen to this man. He started exactly the same way I recommend everybody does. Get past your proof of concept. That is when you should call us. Correct. Because I can handle everything from there. If you don't have proof of concept, it's going to be A lar a a long tedious money pit. And I don't want you to do that. I want you to like what you spent and did is exactly the process that I want to make sure everybody understands that they do. Yeah. And well, and talking with you guys the first time is and you made a very good point of it. You're not just getting you. Right. I have a team. I have a marketing team here. I have a product design team. Yeah. I mean, I'm supported by four different categories, everyone to make this thing possible. Not just one guy in a basement. Right. You know, working away trying to do his thing with it. Those look it there might be one of those in the on the team, but I don't need them for long. Like the magnet guy, right? Might be not in his basement, but he's probably somewhere he's probably somewhere focused on magnets. Correct. Doing other things with that. That was perfect. Fine. but look at I I I love your story. Lo I love your enthusiasm. You're gonna be our a rock star. love it. Look at like, share, follow, comment.
