- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rap An iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing.
- 0:11Speaker 3: It, rub dub dub and the tub tub tub.
- 0:19Speaker 4: Wow.
- 0:20Speaker 2: How was everyone's weekend?
- 0:24Speaker 3: How was yours?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Mine is quite low key. I would say I had
- 0:28Speaker 2: a one huge event on Saturday night, but otherwise it
- 0:33Speaker 2: was very low key. I love that for you and.
- 0:36Speaker 3: You a same.
- 0:38Speaker 5: But I hit the point of life where I'm just
- 0:41Speaker 5: like constantly stressed and I don't know why.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Do you just just feel like you've mannered, like you're
- 0:48Speaker 2: you've been so bred, chill and the whole time that
- 0:50Speaker 2: you just feel like you need to feel stressed because
- 0:52Speaker 2: it's so close.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 0:54Speaker 5: And like the thing is like Robbie was on his
- 0:56Speaker 5: bachelor party, so and he normally calms me down about
- 0:59Speaker 5: this type of stuff. So when he got home last night,
- 1:01Speaker 5: he was like, Babe, yes, there's a lot to do,
- 1:03Speaker 5: but like we still have a week.
- 1:05Speaker 3: We got it, Like it's no problem.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 5: I was like, okay, right when you break it down,
- 1:09Speaker 5: thinking like, okay, we have two full days in Mexico
- 1:11Speaker 5: before anybody arrives to like totally do stuff. I was like, Okay,
- 1:16Speaker 5: it's okay.
- 1:17Speaker 1: It's funny though, how we find the yin to our
- 1:19Speaker 1: yang and so forth. You know, there's always the stresser
- 1:22Speaker 1: of the couple and the chiller of the couple, not always,
- 1:25Speaker 1: And even if you're not that at the beginning, I
- 1:26Speaker 1: feel like you find your role.
- 1:28Speaker 5: Yes, I've never been like, I'm really grateful that I'm
- 1:32Speaker 5: not like an anxious person per se. You know, I've
- 1:35Speaker 5: never had like debilitating anxiety or things like that, but
- 1:38Speaker 5: like I've been having trouble sleeping at night, and I'm
- 1:42Speaker 5: not used to that.
- 1:42Speaker 6: M M.
- 1:44Speaker 2: You do have I don't know that i'd say you're
- 1:46Speaker 2: you're anxious, but you do need control of things. And
- 1:51Speaker 2: I feel like when you don't have control over things,
- 1:53Speaker 2: you get a little like out of sorts. But I
- 1:56Speaker 2: don't have.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Completely control over this, that's the thing, Like I have,
- 1:59Speaker 4: you don't because you It's kind of like, I mean,
- 2:02Speaker 4: you have control in terms of getting it done, but yeah,
- 2:06Speaker 4: I don't know why you're anxious about this.
- 2:07Speaker 5: Yeah, it's more like I'm second guessing all the decisions.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Should I switch this, should I extend this? I'm like
- 2:16Speaker 5: when you're at a wedding and there's no toasts and
- 2:19Speaker 5: we're not doing a seat to dinner. What do people do?
- 2:22Speaker 5: Then I'm like, do we need like activations?
- 2:25Speaker 3: And probably people sit and hang out, they.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Chat like there's so many friends there.
- 2:31Speaker 3: He goes, so how you normally do at a party?
- 2:33Speaker 5: You sit and you talk to people, You go to
- 2:35Speaker 5: the bar, you sit back down, you maybe find a
- 2:37Speaker 5: different seat.
- 2:38Speaker 3: And I was like, okay, all.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, I couldn't be happier that I'm not sitting
- 2:44Speaker 2: through multiple toasts and like at a seat to dinner,
- 2:46Speaker 2: Like I'm so excited that it's going to be like
- 2:48Speaker 2: eating and drinking and chatting and dancing and mingling. I
- 2:52Speaker 2: love that. Yeah, I couldn't be happier about it.
- 2:54Speaker 5: That's that was my feeling too. It's like I just
- 2:56Speaker 5: want to party. I want people dancing and up. But
- 2:58Speaker 5: then I started thinking about it and then I'm.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Like, oh, like what do people do just hang out?
- 3:03Speaker 3: I don't have a photo booth, Like, there's no photo booth.
- 3:07Speaker 1: We don't need a photo booth.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I don't know that a photo that makes such a
- 3:10Speaker 2: huge difference that you're that's.
- 3:12Speaker 3: About fifteen minutes, you know, Like he's going back with
- 3:15Speaker 3: different people.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I have a long list of people that I want
- 3:18Speaker 1: to see and talk to at your wedding. Yeah, I
- 3:20Speaker 1: can't wait.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, everyone, it's gonna be good.
- 3:23Speaker 3: So those are the things that like are keeping me
- 3:25Speaker 3: up at night.
- 3:25Speaker 2: You can rest easy. Thank you. Okay, without the photo booth,
- 3:29Speaker 2: but thank you for considering our need for a photo
- 3:32Speaker 2: that we don't have.
- 3:33Speaker 6: I like the activations are on the table too. You
- 3:35Speaker 6: can have like royal caribbeans here.
- 3:38Speaker 2: A house, like someone doing like little caricatures.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I entertain artists would be those ones that make people
- 3:49Speaker 2: look crazy.
- 3:52Speaker 5: It's not too late that I'm saying, like, there's I
- 3:54Speaker 5: could still add to this extravagadens off.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I would say, let yourself rest and the dis decisions
- 4:00Speaker 2: you've made, it's gonna be amazing. It's gonna beautiful. It's
- 4:03Speaker 2: gonna be so much fun. Everyone is so excited just
- 4:06Speaker 2: to be in Mexico celebrating guys. End a story.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Okay, thank you, sleep and then don't even get me
- 4:13Speaker 3: started on the bows.
- 4:14Speaker 2: That was a whole Yeah, I can't fix that's stressful.
- 4:17Speaker 3: That's that was a lot of the weekend stress.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, I didn't hear from you much.
- 4:22Speaker 3: I was like, she's oh, I was knee deep. I
- 4:24Speaker 3: was like in it this weekend.
- 4:26Speaker 2: How was Robbie's bachelor party?
- 4:29Speaker 3: It was good? It was good.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Did he go to Vegas and then Aspen?
- 4:35Speaker 5: Yeah, they went to Vegas per night and then they
- 4:38Speaker 5: went to AskMen for two days. And it's so funny
- 4:42Speaker 5: because like every video he sent me, they like they
- 4:44Speaker 5: went to like clubs, I.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Know, and they like nine married men and not like
- 4:48Speaker 3: just married men, like they've been married for like ten
- 4:50Speaker 3: plus years.
- 4:51Speaker 5: So like Robbie would send me videos, there's like a
- 4:54Speaker 5: like a they have, you know, like at clubs, so
- 4:56Speaker 5: they have the sign to say like congrats Robbie, and
- 4:57Speaker 5: they're like dancing around. It's like a king room nine
- 5:00Speaker 5: dudes with like their arms crossed, like just like chilling.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I was dying. He posted a video behind like the
- 5:07Speaker 2: DJ bood and was dying laughing at all these like
- 5:11Speaker 2: literal early twenty year olds in the audience, Like who
- 5:14Speaker 2: were these guys behind the DJ for batch?
- 5:20Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, but they did, like you know
- 5:22Speaker 5: those are his like og friends and they had like
- 5:24Speaker 5: a really good time of them, Like am like they
- 5:26Speaker 5: went skiing clubs, no strip clubs. I thought if they
- 5:30Speaker 5: were going to do it, it would be Vegas. I was like,
- 5:32Speaker 5: what'd you guys do after Delilah? And he's like, gambled
- 5:35Speaker 5: a little bit and went to bed. I was like,
- 5:38Speaker 5: all right, great, she said, because I felt pretty safe
- 5:45Speaker 5: about no strip clubs and Aspen.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I imagine they're strip clubs and Aspen.
- 5:50Speaker 5: I imagine they're everywhere, right, but it's a very wealthy
- 5:54Speaker 5: towne Nigley, likely in Vegas over Aspen.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Vegas. You walk down the street and people
- 6:00Speaker 1: put pictures of naked women in your hat, right right.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Right, correct, correct.
- 6:04Speaker 5: But it was cute because when he got home yesterday,
- 6:06Speaker 5: he was like, I missed you so much.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Three days was too long.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Oh he's really ready to get married.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Yeah, Like we were having dinner last night and he
- 6:15Speaker 5: was like this is what I love. And I was like,
- 6:18Speaker 5: but they like went hard, Like I give him props,
- 6:20Speaker 5: like they really like went for it.
- 6:22Speaker 2: But yeah, they partied.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Yeah, they like four or five places a day that
- 6:26Speaker 5: they went. I'm like, we went to like one place
- 6:29Speaker 5: a day for my motor and I was like tired.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah, we all were. I admire that. Yeah, Saturday was
- 6:37Speaker 2: a huge night because I would argue the best award
- 6:41Speaker 2: show of the weekend.
- 6:48Speaker 6: Thank you, thank you so much, thank you so much.
- 6:54Speaker 6: It was so much fun. All the scrubbers that came
- 6:57Speaker 6: live and we're on the chat. Crystal sent me some
- 7:00Speaker 6: screenshots of the chat. I was reading those all weekend.
- 7:03Speaker 6: So such a great time. Every that event went exactly
- 7:08Speaker 6: as I saw it in my head. It was perfect.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Everything I wanted to happen happened. It was a dream
- 7:13Speaker 6: come true. It's so much fun.
- 7:15Speaker 2: It was so amazing. I can't even say. I was
- 7:19Speaker 2: watching the live, the live before I came to present
- 7:24Speaker 2: and I was dying laughing in my car. I was
- 7:27Speaker 2: in the parking lot in my car and I was
- 7:29Speaker 2: literally laughing out loud. I was like, this is amazing.
- 7:31Speaker 2: And then watching the Oscars, I literally texted Taylor Banks
- 7:36Speaker 2: and I was like, this is the Easties with a
- 7:38Speaker 2: bigger budget. Like the thought, the thought that went into it,
- 7:42Speaker 2: Like when you did the commercial for the or you
- 7:45Speaker 2: did the best washing Cycle? Which where do you get
- 7:48Speaker 2: that content? Like best washing cycle?
- 7:50Speaker 1: No, I agree about that, quick quick wash is the best.
- 7:53Speaker 6: It's the best.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I never used it. I'm curious now honestly.
- 7:57Speaker 2: And you went and you rolled into Danielle Fischle's I
- 8:01Speaker 2: was just like, this is amazing.
- 8:03Speaker 6: It was so it was so fun. Okay, so so Becca,
- 8:08Speaker 6: my heart goes out to you so much. I asked
- 8:10Speaker 6: you to be part of the show and you're like, yes,
- 8:12Speaker 6: I'm there. It was so great. And I were recordinating this, like,
- 8:16Speaker 6: you know, a couple days before, and I was like, oh,
- 8:18Speaker 6: just here's what time to be there. You can just
- 8:20Speaker 6: roll in. I had no idea you were going to
- 8:21Speaker 6: be in the chat in the live like it was.
- 8:24Speaker 4: So.
- 8:25Speaker 6: I was talking to people and like it was so
- 8:26Speaker 6: cool because they're like, oh, Becca's watching, how fun she's commenting,
- 8:29Speaker 6: and then you walk on stage. Oh my god. It
- 8:30Speaker 6: was like such a cool thing to have happened. Yeah,
- 8:34Speaker 6: it was okay, I gotta thank Ryan Seacrests opened the show.
- 8:38Speaker 6: That was cool. Bob Guinea one of the early bachelors
- 8:43Speaker 6: Moon Phase of the Year. Dane Official allowed me to
- 8:47Speaker 6: teleport into it. Reopened a portal in that theater. I
- 8:50Speaker 6: can't believe it. And she did washing Machine Cycle and
- 8:54Speaker 6: Sophia Bush did Fruit of the Year, so kind of
- 8:57Speaker 6: her again, It's just such a fun time. My friends
- 9:00Speaker 6: were there. We had Mikayla from The Morning Show helping out.
- 9:03Speaker 6: John Parr from The Morning Show ran the sound. Mark
- 9:05Speaker 6: was there running the lights. Yeah, I needed I didn't
- 9:08Speaker 6: say this on stage. I gotta say this really quick.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Mark.
- 9:10Speaker 6: Mark learned the lights like ten minutes before we started
- 9:12Speaker 6: the show.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Learn the lights.
- 9:14Speaker 6: Learn how the lights worked. None of us are lighting
- 9:17Speaker 6: people in here. We do audio. Tom how the lights worked,
- 9:21Speaker 6: and I showed him. I'm like, hey, don't stress about this.
- 9:24Speaker 6: This slider will turn the lights green. And I'm going
- 9:26Speaker 6: to turn into the Hulk at some point in the show,
- 9:29Speaker 6: and if you can make the lights green, that would
- 9:31Speaker 6: be cool, but you don't have to. When I turned
- 9:33Speaker 6: into the Hulk, the lights went green and it looks
- 9:35Speaker 6: so cool.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I will say I had major fomo famous. I was
- 9:42Speaker 3: very sad.
- 9:43Speaker 5: And then when I saw that you had guests via video,
- 9:47Speaker 5: I was like, why did I not get one of
- 9:49Speaker 5: those laws. I'm very fearful of crowds right now because
- 9:52Speaker 5: I just like don't want to get sick.
- 9:54Speaker 6: I understand that I was watching.
- 9:55Speaker 3: And like the video.
- 9:56Speaker 5: I don't know how you your video was, but I
- 9:58Speaker 5: was watching and the video was like very blurry on
- 10:00Speaker 5: my phone, I couldn't really see anything.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Oh no, mine was crystal clear. Really.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Yeah, we had the phone in the back and I know, okay,
- 10:07Speaker 6: so I want to get everyone excited. But we had
- 10:10Speaker 6: like a film crew there filming everything in extremely high definition.
- 10:13Speaker 6: When I started sweating, So that will be on YouTube.
- 10:17Speaker 6: I don't know soon. I hope further editing it right now,
- 10:19Speaker 6: but we're gonna have that on like YouTube.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Watching it on the live and I couldn't It was
- 10:24Speaker 5: like so blurry that I couldn't really see anything. So
- 10:26Speaker 5: I had it like on the table next to me
- 10:28Speaker 5: while I was like, I heard the whole show, I
- 10:30Speaker 5: didn't get to see much because it was like, oh,
- 10:33Speaker 5: so blurry.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Well it was a it was an audio tree and
- 10:36Speaker 2: a visual Honestly, I.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Got a lot from the audio.
- 10:39Speaker 6: H Yeah.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I was sitting in the car in the parking lot
- 10:42Speaker 2: and I just see this person walk out of this
- 10:44Speaker 2: like shed and a green eminem because I couldn't figure
- 10:50Speaker 2: out which door I was supposed to go in, so
- 10:52Speaker 2: I was like, okay, I need to either have MICHAELA
- 10:54Speaker 2: come get me. But then when I saw the green
- 10:56Speaker 2: eminem walk in. I was like, that's the door. I
- 11:03Speaker 2: did not see the doctor Phil Mascow.
- 11:06Speaker 6: So oh yeah, we had a special guest. We had
- 11:09Speaker 6: doctor Phil as an emin m one of my favorite
- 11:11Speaker 6: images of old time, came to life on stage and
- 11:14Speaker 6: did the Apple Dance with me. Yes, you know, Allison
- 11:19Speaker 6: was helping me put a lot of this together, and
- 11:20Speaker 6: like every idea was like wouldn't it be funny if
- 11:23Speaker 6: we did this? And then we just like like, okay,
- 11:24Speaker 6: we're doing that now. Every nothing was turned down.
- 11:28Speaker 1: It was the way, oh my god, my god, yeah.
- 11:34Speaker 6: Just the best. Every like this took up so much
- 11:36Speaker 6: time of mine. We're like, we're getting our shingles redone
- 11:39Speaker 6: next week. Like Alice has been like measuring windows and
- 11:42Speaker 6: I'm like, hang on, i gotta figure out how to
- 11:44Speaker 6: make this portal appear over a star from Boy Mets World.
- 11:48Speaker 6: She's the I owe her everything. She's just the best,
- 11:52Speaker 6: the best.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Haley was like, this is so impressive because I think
- 11:55Speaker 2: I always talk about how crazy your schedule is and
- 11:58Speaker 2: how overworked, overworked and underpaid. Honestly, yeah, she was like,
- 12:03Speaker 2: I'm so impressed that he with how you talk about
- 12:08Speaker 2: his schedule, that he did a whole word. Jow. She
- 12:10Speaker 2: was like, that is such a work of labor and love,
- 12:13Speaker 2: like he, yeah, it's amazing.
- 12:16Speaker 6: Well, thank you, thank you, because it was it was
- 12:19Speaker 6: hard to do, but I get so much. I love
- 12:23Speaker 6: doing that kind of stuff. That's what brings me. That
- 12:25Speaker 6: brings me so much joy. And every time I sat
- 12:28Speaker 6: down to like put something together, I was just like over,
- 12:31Speaker 6: I was just making myself crack up doing this stupid stuff,
- 12:34Speaker 6: and I was like, this, this is what I want
- 12:36Speaker 6: to do with my time. I am so happy to
- 12:39Speaker 6: do this, and I'm so grateful that everybody came and
- 12:41Speaker 6: like shared in on that joy with us.
- 12:43Speaker 1: It's another testament. And I've said this many times before
- 12:46Speaker 1: on the show that everybody loves Easton.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I don't know anybody in my whole life like that.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Everybody loves Yeah. I mean, it's true. And that's how
- 12:55Speaker 1: he gets Sophia Bush and Danielle Fisher and Ryan and
- 12:57Speaker 1: over the years, Chris Harrison and Jason drul because they
- 13:01Speaker 1: love the guy. You'm going to do something, Fortty, Sure,
- 13:03Speaker 1: I'll do it. Yeah, great, It's it's really it's really incredible.
- 13:06Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 13:07Speaker 6: It was a bad weekend for Easton haters, let me
- 13:08Speaker 6: tell you it was a really bad weekend.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Did so after doing the live show, are you gonna, like,
- 13:14Speaker 2: is the goal a bigger venue next year?
- 13:16Speaker 4: So?
- 13:17Speaker 6: Uh, I did this one with the kind of understanding
- 13:20Speaker 6: like we might not I saw and everyone like we
- 13:22Speaker 6: may never do this again, like this might be not
- 13:24Speaker 6: just the last, like the only like live one in
- 13:26Speaker 6: for the audience, this might be the last ec ones
- 13:28Speaker 6: of all time, but just the I don't know how
- 13:29Speaker 6: this is gonna go, you know, like what if no
- 13:31Speaker 6: one shows up? What nod likes this? But it was
- 13:34Speaker 6: just it was so everyone loved it and and I
- 13:36Speaker 6: got such good feedback and I mostly I'm just really
- 13:39Speaker 6: jazzed on it now. So we're gonna we're gonna do
- 13:42Speaker 6: it in a bigger place next year. Ramp and everything up.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Scrubbers come through.
- 13:47Speaker 6: They did.
- 13:48Speaker 1: They.
- 13:48Speaker 6: I was getting so many messages, like the week or
- 13:50Speaker 6: two before, I'm like, well, you release more tickets. We
- 13:52Speaker 6: want more tickets. I'm like, I release. My wife is
- 13:57Speaker 6: sitting on an Apple box. There's no more seats left.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I was saying, those are the two goals. One is
- 14:04Speaker 1: a bigger venue in two. You know, I'm not like
- 14:06Speaker 1: a part of this. But if I am a part
- 14:07Speaker 1: of this, oh yes, we got to get a celebrity
- 14:09Speaker 1: to accept the award. I think it's so like remember
- 14:12Speaker 1: when Halle Berry showed up at the Razzies to accept
- 14:14Speaker 1: her worst actions.
- 14:15Speaker 3: You're using that example and I don't remember.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It she did that. She accepted Worst Actress at the
- 14:19Speaker 1: Razzie were catwomen. I believe sometimes celebrities will do quirky,
- 14:23Speaker 1: silly stuff like this. So I think we got to
- 14:25Speaker 1: find one that's quirky enough to show up at the
- 14:27Speaker 1: Easties and accept the award.
- 14:28Speaker 5: I think you got to find one that's like on
- 14:30Speaker 5: cycle for like some sort of press thing.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?
- 14:33Speaker 5: Because I feel like those, especially those like big movies
- 14:35Speaker 5: where they're doing like all the things.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I feel like they would like totally do that.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Because it could go viral.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Yeah it's fun.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 6: Like my dream is like Scarlett Johansson's promoting the new
- 14:47Speaker 6: Jurassic Park and we get.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Her to accept it a word for us, Scarlett Johanson,
- 14:52Speaker 1: who knows.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I feel like we could get Truesdale to come perform.
- 14:56Speaker 6: That's that I would love that.
- 14:59Speaker 3: I was I was waiting for that.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought they were gonna come out and except
- 15:02Speaker 2: their words.
- 15:03Speaker 6: I we're working on that. We were working on that.
- 15:06Speaker 6: They are. They have a very busy tour schedule this
- 15:08Speaker 6: part of the year, and we were I was talking
- 15:10Speaker 6: to Chreuesdale about this. I don't know if they know
- 15:12Speaker 6: they won. They swept the musical category. Don't if they
- 15:14Speaker 6: know that yet, but congratulations.
- 15:18Speaker 5: Know how you did it. But that might be good. U.
- 15:20Speaker 5: What's the word enticement? Like that they swept last year?
- 15:24Speaker 5: To get them next year?
- 15:26Speaker 6: You know?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yes, I have a feeling they might blow up soon.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I kind of feel like they're gonna have like a
- 15:33Speaker 2: a moment.
- 15:33Speaker 6: They're not gonna have time for these kids. I kind
- 15:35Speaker 6: of get them now. Yeah, but again, it was so
- 15:38Speaker 6: fun and we raised so much money for the Fire
- 15:41Speaker 6: Department Foundation in Pasadena, Humane. It was so great to
- 15:44Speaker 6: do that, and I just I'm so everc We've said
- 15:48Speaker 6: this so many times. The Scrippers are the best.
- 15:50Speaker 1: They're the best.
- 15:51Speaker 6: Every outside were talking to the other night like there
- 15:53Speaker 6: was no no one was like weird, no one was
- 15:56Speaker 6: like no one showed up like drunk or like anything
- 15:59Speaker 6: like it was. Everyone was just so respectful and kind
- 16:01Speaker 6: and having fun and do you have a bar there?
- 16:05Speaker 6: We had water bottles.
- 16:07Speaker 5: And maybe next year you throwing a barcause that could.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Be a good time.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I someone in the comments was like, Becca, are you
- 16:16Speaker 2: gardening watching this? And I was like, no, I would
- 16:19Speaker 2: be in another dimension. I feel like I'm gardened just
- 16:24Speaker 2: because of this experience.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Yeah, just audio alone.
- 16:27Speaker 5: I wanted to like have a martini while I was listening.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I will say I laughed more at the watching the
- 16:34Speaker 2: Eastias than I did the Oscars.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Wow, yeah, that's true, I did.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I watched more of the Easties than I watched the Oscar.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I actually sat and watched the whole Oscars. No, yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 2: we watched the whole thing. Well, I feel like we
- 16:47Speaker 2: should take a break and then I'll tell you about it,
- 17:09Speaker 2: all right, So we sat and watched the Oscars, the
- 17:12Speaker 2: whole thing all the way through, which I don't know
- 17:15Speaker 2: that I've done that with an Oscars ever.
- 17:17Speaker 5: Maybe you know it's so funny and it just goes
- 17:20Speaker 5: to show you like you can't ever win. I used
- 17:22Speaker 5: to complain that they would air the Oscars like on
- 17:25Speaker 5: the East Coast and then they would save it for
- 17:27Speaker 5: the West Coast.
- 17:27Speaker 3: At like eight pm, and it would go to like eleven,
- 17:29Speaker 3: and I was like.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Why don't they do it earlier when they're airing it
- 17:31Speaker 5: to the East Coast. And then yesterday I was running
- 17:34Speaker 5: errands and it was like four and I wasn't home.
- 17:36Speaker 5: I was like, damn it, why are they oscar so
- 17:39Speaker 5: freaking early?
- 17:42Speaker 2: Four was a little earlyer than.
- 17:45Speaker 4: It's like.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Nice.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I love it, but it felt like it went till
- 17:48Speaker 2: I don't even know what time it went till, but
- 17:49Speaker 2: it felt like a long time.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Fifteen I think later than that. Oh really, I will.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Say the show started at a level one thousand. Cynthia
- 17:59Speaker 2: and Ariana opening ye, the tribute to Hollywood and the
- 18:04Speaker 2: nostalgia of seeing all the old Hollywood movies. I loved.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I loved everything about it, and then it just kind
- 18:10Speaker 2: of was a lull for me the rest of the time.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree.
- 18:14Speaker 2: What did y'all think of Conan?
- 18:16Speaker 6: I loved him.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I like a lot.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Is he is? That a controversial take?
- 18:20Speaker 3: People didn't like him, People didn't like him.
- 18:22Speaker 1: That's not what I'm saying, You'll be He'll be asked
- 18:26Speaker 1: back as as much as he wants to do it.
- 18:28Speaker 1: That's what I've been seeing I.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Kind of got that vibe too. I didn't find him
- 18:31Speaker 2: to be wildly entertaining, but I found myself chuckling at
- 18:36Speaker 2: his jokes. But the funny part to me was that
- 18:39Speaker 2: he would say the joke and then it almost took
- 18:40Speaker 2: a second for the audience to get it, but then they,
- 18:43Speaker 2: like you would hear like a roar of laughter. It
- 18:45Speaker 2: was just delayed. So I found that to be kind
- 18:47Speaker 2: of funny myself, Like seeing the delay of it clicking
- 18:51Speaker 2: was really funny. But I felt like he was respectful.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I didn't feel like any of the rude I hate
- 18:56Speaker 2: when they're rude. Yeah, it's like you can roast and
- 18:59Speaker 2: still be taste, and I felt like he did that.
- 19:01Speaker 6: Well, He's very self deprecating and like always has been,
- 19:04Speaker 6: and that's that's that's.
- 19:07Speaker 2: But anyways, what did I I felt like Wicked was snubbed.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I know that they won for like costume and stuff,
- 19:15Speaker 2: and I know it's typically like the movies that have
- 19:17Speaker 2: that much publicity and and traction typically don't don't win
- 19:22Speaker 2: the Oscars.
- 19:22Speaker 5: But like, no, Cynthia, Wicked was snubbed the whole award season. Like,
- 19:28Speaker 5: I don't understand what went wrong, but I feel like
- 19:30Speaker 5: it was like very miss missed.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Yes, but that's every movie that's successful and popular doesn't
- 19:41Speaker 1: tend to do well with the Oscars. That happens.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Not true.
- 19:44Speaker 6: It's happened with Barbie last year too.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You know Barby got snubbed. What what big popular movie
- 19:50Speaker 1: done well with the Oscars since Titanic?
- 19:51Speaker 3: Let me do it?
- 19:53Speaker 2: Or Ariana win anything? The whole word that's crazy. It's
- 19:58Speaker 2: pretty wild. I mean the movie. I guess I didn't
- 20:01Speaker 2: see the Brutalist.
- 20:03Speaker 1: But it sounds brutal to get through. It's three and
- 20:06Speaker 1: a half hours long. I have zero interest in that.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Anything that I feel is made just to win in Austin. Yeah,
- 20:12Speaker 2: I hate the Oscar bait movies, kind of all of them, Yes,
- 20:17Speaker 2: except for Wicked.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Except for Wicked, right.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Answer.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Nora was like a strong start for I really liked
- 20:25Speaker 2: no but then it had a lull for me. But
- 20:27Speaker 2: that one I wasn't mad about. And he directed, edited,
- 20:30Speaker 2: and yeah, that guy wrote.
- 20:31Speaker 6: The star of the show, Sean Baker, such.
- 20:35Speaker 1: A likable, fun dude. Somebody's going to be up there
- 20:38Speaker 1: all night. He was a good one to have him.
- 20:39Speaker 6: My god. His his second speech about preserving movie theaters,
- 20:44Speaker 6: I sawed. I openly wept at that because I believe
- 20:46Speaker 6: movie theaters are so important and I love and independent
- 20:49Speaker 6: movie theaters, especially like him talking about how many screens
- 20:51Speaker 6: we lost during COVID and how important it is to
- 20:53Speaker 6: see a movie in a theater as a community. I'm like,
- 20:56Speaker 6: this is beautiful. Thank you Sean for saying Easton got
- 20:58Speaker 6: married in a movie theater. Yeah, I worked in a
- 21:01Speaker 6: movie there. I got married movie theater. I will die
- 21:03Speaker 6: in a movie there.
- 21:05Speaker 5: Talk to Talk, slum Dog Millionaire not blockbuster movies, was
- 21:10Speaker 5: it not?
- 21:12Speaker 1: Titanic was twenty seven years ago?
- 21:16Speaker 3: Gone with the Wind? Okay, Avatar, Takespeare in Love.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Okay, stop, you're going back to like early nineties. So
- 21:26Speaker 2: it's been a minute you have.
- 21:27Speaker 1: To go to before you were born to prove your points.
- 21:29Speaker 1: You've lost.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Everything everywhere. All I want.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I did not do well in theaters.
- 21:36Speaker 3: No, I you have again.
- 21:39Speaker 2: That was a good movie.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I was that was good well.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I also think the Oscars. I also feel like Adrian
- 21:45Speaker 2: Brodie's speech. I feel like it was very pretentious.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Thing about it, and he wouldn't stop talking. Yeah, this
- 21:52Speaker 1: is my first rodeo.
- 21:53Speaker 2: I'm like, Okay, we've heard, like everyone else was respectful
- 21:56Speaker 2: and like left everyone's in the same boat as it
- 21:59Speaker 2: was having I deserve this more than everyone else in
- 22:03Speaker 2: the room, so please stop the music. And then he's like,
- 22:05Speaker 2: I have more to say, and it was like say it.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Then he just kept that's true.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I didn't see his acceptance speech, but yeah, because.
- 22:13Speaker 1: He did ask for more time, and then it wasn't
- 22:15Speaker 1: very interesting after maybe something yes, like Karen Culkin was awesome,
- 22:21Speaker 1: great speech, great.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Speech, and then Adrian Brody like went to step up
- 22:26Speaker 2: and then turn around and gave his girlfriend his chewed gum.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Yea whatever.
- 22:30Speaker 6: I I kind of liked that because not him throwing
- 22:32Speaker 6: it at his wife, but he I saw him earlier
- 22:35Speaker 6: in the night and I was like, oh, look, girlfriend,
- 22:37Speaker 6: it's pardon me.
- 22:38Speaker 1: You guys are really into Brody's.
- 22:41Speaker 2: There's been a lot about that because she was married
- 22:44Speaker 2: to Harvey Weinstein for fourteen years. Yeah, so there's a
- 22:48Speaker 2: lot of yes.
- 22:49Speaker 6: But I saw him earlier in the night and I
- 22:51Speaker 6: was like, it looks like Adrian Brady's chewing gum. I
- 22:53Speaker 6: didn't know if you could do that. I didn't think
- 22:54Speaker 6: you could chew gum at the Oscars that's so. And
- 22:56Speaker 6: then when he walked on stage, he had to throw
- 22:58Speaker 6: the gum to his lad and I was like, oh
- 23:00Speaker 6: my god, it's like Chekhov's gum is.
- 23:03Speaker 5: My number one pet peeve with humans in general. There
- 23:07Speaker 5: have been artists that have come in and to do
- 23:09Speaker 5: radio interviews chewing gum, and to me, it's such a
- 23:13Speaker 5: lack of respect, like while they're.
- 23:15Speaker 6: Talking, yes, there's no insane like I'm.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Like, just spin it out before you're you're having a
- 23:21Speaker 3: conversation with somebody.
- 23:22Speaker 6: It's so universal, like I am not I don't care
- 23:25Speaker 6: about what you're saying.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, I saw people talking. Benny Blanco was chewing
- 23:30Speaker 2: his gum, like really aggressively on the red carpet and
- 23:33Speaker 2: people are like just chewing his mouth.
- 23:39Speaker 5: To me, it's less annoying because he's not like he's
- 23:42Speaker 5: just like a bystander, do you know what I mean? Like, yeah,
- 23:45Speaker 5: if you're a guest and you want to chomp away,
- 23:46Speaker 5: chomp away.
- 23:47Speaker 2: But if you're an esteemed actor, but if.
- 23:49Speaker 5: You're like receiving awards, you're doing interviews, like leave the
- 23:52Speaker 5: gum in the car.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah, they need to. They should get listerine trips because
- 23:57Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 23:57Speaker 3: They're just throw a mint in the let dissolve.
- 24:01Speaker 2: But mints are annoying too, They're clicking around in your mouth.
- 24:04Speaker 2: You need the Listarine Strips.
- 24:07Speaker 3: I'm anti gun tight gum.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Wow.
- 24:09Speaker 3: You heard it here first. Yeah, the Empire.
- 24:14Speaker 2: The next big event that we have coming up. It's
- 24:17Speaker 2: been a lot of big events back to back. Is
- 24:20Speaker 2: the Royal wedding?
- 24:26Speaker 1: Are you going to have that song?
- 24:28Speaker 4: No?
- 24:28Speaker 5: Okay, that's the one that the bride walks down to
- 24:31Speaker 5: right now. My song is my song is very My
- 24:36Speaker 5: song is very uniquely mine.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Is it mine by Taylor Swip?
- 24:43Speaker 2: No?
- 24:43Speaker 3: But it is by Taylor Swift.
- 24:46Speaker 2: With context clues figure this one.
- 24:50Speaker 5: Yeah, so that's the one I'm walking down to.
- 24:53Speaker 6: The song you wrote about, Robie.
- 24:55Speaker 2: I bought my waterproof muscara because I I always forget
- 24:59Speaker 2: it and it's always a thing and I know as
- 25:02Speaker 2: soon as as soon as the music starts, it's gonna.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Be I know.
- 25:05Speaker 5: Like, Okay, So I've been listening to this Ariana Gande
- 25:09Speaker 5: song POV on repeat lately. It's like such a beautiful
- 25:12Speaker 5: love song and just for funzies over the weekend, I
- 25:15Speaker 5: like google the instrumental version, like the string version of it.
- 25:18Speaker 2: And it is.
- 25:21Speaker 3: So beautiful, like so weepy.
- 25:23Speaker 5: It's my biggest regret that I did not ask them
- 25:25Speaker 5: to learn that song. Well said that there was like
- 25:29Speaker 5: a deadline. There was like a deadline to give them
- 25:31Speaker 5: new songs to learn.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Why does it hurt to us?
- 25:33Speaker 3: You know what? You're right?
- 25:36Speaker 2: Hey, I just heard the song. I know it's past the.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Deadline from twenty eighteen.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Is there any I just heard this out. I just
- 25:43Speaker 2: was listening to the song, and I had this idea,
- 25:45Speaker 2: is there any world even though it Yeah, yeah, i'llsine yeah, yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 2: why not? Yeah?
- 25:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's so imagine that song on strings. I will
- 25:56Speaker 5: say I over the weekend, I got very happy that
- 25:59Speaker 5: you are flying out with Robbie, and I like there's
- 26:01Speaker 5: some sort of like you also give a level of call,
- 26:04Speaker 5: like you and Robbie sandwich between the two of you.
- 26:06Speaker 5: It's like I'm a piece of turkey with like two
- 26:09Speaker 5: pieces of bread on either side of me.
- 26:10Speaker 3: That like, calm me down.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I'm so happy to be bread and not lettuce because
- 26:15Speaker 2: I feel like you would give us You'd be like
- 26:17Speaker 2: lettuce lettuce, Yeah, a lettuce burger.
- 26:19Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like a calming little sandwich that I'm in
- 26:23Speaker 5: the middle of.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I'm so excited that I get to go
- 26:28Speaker 2: early too.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Yeah, what a treat, I know for all of us.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Am I going to be in charge of the dress?
- 26:35Speaker 3: What are my dresses?
- 26:37Speaker 5: All of the dress I'm going to put all my
- 26:39Speaker 5: dresses into one garment.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Bag and I'm heavy, giving heavy.
- 26:46Speaker 5: But you can, like, I think that you can check
- 26:48Speaker 5: it on the on the train or not train, I'm sorry,
- 26:50Speaker 5: the plane.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Yeah check yeah yeah yeah, so.
- 26:54Speaker 5: The minute we get on the plane, you can just
- 26:55Speaker 5: hand it to the lovely stewardess. Areus to a steward.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Would you mind? I'm like shaking trying to handle heavy.
- 27:02Speaker 3: It's not gonna be that heavy.
- 27:03Speaker 2: No, it's gonna be great. Yeah, okay, great, I'm excited
- 27:06Speaker 2: for my task. There are some new celebrity couple sightings. Oh,
- 27:11Speaker 2: by the way. Another thing about the Oscars is it
- 27:14Speaker 2: just that I'm still living in a world where I
- 27:16Speaker 2: want to see like Kate Winslet and Julia Roberts and
- 27:20Speaker 2: the celebrities that I grew up with as like the
- 27:23Speaker 2: big celebrities. It just didn't feel like super star studded
- 27:26Speaker 2: to me. But I don't know if I'm stuck in
- 27:29Speaker 2: that era of my millennialism that I like have those
- 27:32Speaker 2: people in my mind when I think of mega celebrities,
- 27:35Speaker 2: because like the mega celebrities now are the Timide Chamale Shallow.
- 27:42Speaker 6: I saw that Christopher Nolan is filming The Odyssey like
- 27:46Speaker 6: in Marrakesh right now, and like a lot of stars
- 27:48Speaker 6: are like Matt Damon is there for that Tom Holland
- 27:52Speaker 6: I know we're all missing him.
- 27:53Speaker 2: At the Oscars, like there were just people even of
- 27:57Speaker 2: this generation where I was like where is everybody?
- 28:01Speaker 1: Yeah, and they were the biggies, like Oprah was a
- 28:03Speaker 1: biggie they brought out and then Billy Crystal. Yeah.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I just want to see people that you're like, oh
- 28:12Speaker 2: my gosh, we never see them.
- 28:14Speaker 5: I also find it so weird that, like, if you
- 28:16Speaker 5: think about it, the whole award season is based on
- 28:20Speaker 5: these like handful of movies or whatever that they've like
- 28:23Speaker 5: picked as like the chosen ones for the award season,
- 28:26Speaker 5: and yet there's so many movies and that they only
- 28:29Speaker 5: focus on like those are the people for award season,
- 28:31Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 28:32Speaker 2: Right that that that for every award show, it's the
- 28:35Speaker 2: same conversation.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like, let's mix it up a little people.
- 28:41Speaker 2: But I don't know if we're gonna I.
- 28:42Speaker 5: Think, get me award, give me on an award, watch
- 28:45Speaker 5: any other movie I will.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Award. They were like, you have to watch the brutallest Conclave,
- 28:53Speaker 2: and I want.
- 28:54Speaker 3: To see Conclave.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I watched Conclave. I enjoyed that. I was very surprised.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I'm not usually that's the type of movie is like
- 29:00Speaker 1: popes and and like history and stuff. I really enjoyed it.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Interesting, Well that's my focus features which who is also
- 29:08Speaker 2: producing Haley Kyoko's directorial debut. So I feel like I
- 29:12Speaker 2: should support them and watch that movie.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to see it.
- 29:16Speaker 1: It's good. I was surprised how quickly I got through it.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I wasn't like, oh what time is good?
- 29:22Speaker 6: And Stanley Tucci.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Goes great and I really enjoyed it, Like.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I would have nominated Severance for something. They nominated your show. Well, no,
- 29:30Speaker 3: but Golden Globes.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Oh, like I'm sure they were something. Did An't is
- 29:35Speaker 2: anyone watching Paradise.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Everybody's telling me to watch it.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I want to watch it.
- 29:40Speaker 2: So this week is the finale, but this past week's
- 29:43Speaker 2: episode was the one of the craziest TV episodes I've
- 29:47Speaker 2: ever seen.
- 29:47Speaker 1: It was right because I'm watching Severance, which is blowing
- 29:50Speaker 1: my mind.
- 29:52Speaker 3: I'm sess wow with Severance.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Right now, I'm locked in.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I told Haley that you loved Severance and she was
- 29:58Speaker 2: like what as we were talking about how we had
- 30:01Speaker 2: tried to watch it and I can't remember if we
- 30:03Speaker 2: were freaked.
- 30:03Speaker 5: Out because the first season, the whole time I was like,
- 30:06Speaker 5: this is weird.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Why are we watching this? This is weird? Why are
- 30:09Speaker 3: we watching this? This is weird?
- 30:10Speaker 5: Why are we watching this? And then the final episode,
- 30:12Speaker 5: I was like, oh my gosh, I get it, Like
- 30:14Speaker 5: it was it like blew my mind. I was like, okay, cool.
- 30:18Speaker 5: And the second season there's a couple episodes where I'm like,
- 30:21Speaker 5: this is weird.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Why I don't get it?
- 30:23Speaker 1: This is weird viral, I don't get it. I don't
- 30:25Speaker 1: get it.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Yeah, but then like but then something will happen. I'm like, oh,
- 30:28Speaker 3: I get it. So it's like it's like it's like
- 30:31Speaker 3: makes me smarter. I think I need something to like
- 30:36Speaker 3: dilute the Love Island, Love.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Is Blind, Yes, yes, yeah, yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Well there's two. It's like you I had two different
- 30:47Speaker 2: sides of your brain when you're watching TV. You want
- 30:49Speaker 2: the side where you can just disassociate. Yes, it's trash,
- 30:52Speaker 2: you don't even have to pay attention to really know
- 30:54Speaker 2: what's going on. And then you have the side that
- 30:55Speaker 2: wants to learn, engage, engage, go to another world and
- 31:00Speaker 2: be in it.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Like The Americans. That was that for me, Like I
- 31:02Speaker 5: couldn't watch The Americans when I was falling asleep because
- 31:04Speaker 5: it was like so you had like watch and pay attention.
- 31:06Speaker 3: It was so good.
- 31:07Speaker 5: But like Love Island, I could fall asleep, miss an
- 31:09Speaker 5: episode or two and just jump right back in.
- 31:11Speaker 3: You know what I mean? I need both. Yeah, I
- 31:13Speaker 3: would give anything for you to watch Breaking Bad.
- 31:17Speaker 2: I know every time I asked for TV show recommendations,
- 31:20Speaker 2: without fail, Tanya sends me Breaking Back.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Once your hesitation, I think we start.
- 31:24Speaker 2: I don't know we started it, and then there's always
- 31:27Speaker 2: just been other shows that we're watching, and but I
- 31:30Speaker 2: know every single person that I know that has watched it,
- 31:33Speaker 2: it's in their top I do.
- 31:34Speaker 5: It again with you, like I would rewatch it top
- 31:37Speaker 5: to bottom with you. If we wanted to start like
- 31:38Speaker 5: a Breaking Bad, we'd rewatch podcast.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Would so I would totally do it with you. I'm serious, Like,
- 31:48Speaker 3: that's how much I loved it.
- 31:49Speaker 1: They want more content from you guys, adding a weekly
- 31:52Speaker 1: breaking bat watch would.
- 31:56Speaker 6: What they get?
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 31:57Speaker 3: Like, okay, make it the heroin what is it?
- 32:01Speaker 6: We get the guy that plays Badger to come on
- 32:03Speaker 6: and be the be the star him. You know him.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I know Badger. I taught him improv when he was
- 32:10Speaker 1: in high school.
- 32:12Speaker 3: I would give you. I would give you something if
- 32:15Speaker 3: you I want the ring.
- 32:19Speaker 2: I want that ring.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Both my rings are too special.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay, Well we'll be in talks about that.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Food for thought.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Yeah, food for thought. I was leading into there's some
- 32:31Speaker 2: new celebrity couple sightings which I would like to make
- 32:34Speaker 2: predictions on him.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I obsessed with.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Well, let's talk about it when we come back.
- 32:40Speaker 3: There's more than one speaking of sleep.
- 32:57Speaker 5: Okay, we were speaking of it during the commercial, So
- 32:59Speaker 5: you guys, might I've heard that?
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well, earlier in the episode, were costly Did you
- 33:04Speaker 2: feel the earthquake last night? Oh my gosh, you guys,
- 33:09Speaker 2: every time there's an earthquake, I sit. Okay, if you
- 33:13Speaker 2: don't live in a place where there's earthquakes, it is
- 33:15Speaker 2: the most jarring feeling. You never get used to it.
- 33:18Speaker 2: I don't know, y'all have lived in el forever. It
- 33:21Speaker 2: really okay.
- 33:22Speaker 3: I like didn't even move out of my bed.
- 33:24Speaker 2: I've lived in California for almost almost twenty years.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Wow, is that real?
- 33:31Speaker 2: I moved here when I was nineteen. Oh my yeah
- 33:34Speaker 2: it was three years. Three years.
- 33:36Speaker 3: It'll be twenty years, almost twenty years. Yeah, okay.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Anyways, I never get used to the feeling. It is
- 33:41Speaker 2: jarring for me. So last night, I'm filling up my water,
- 33:44Speaker 2: We're getting ready for bed, and Phoebe's kind of wanting
- 33:47Speaker 2: to go outside. Haley just got out of the bath.
- 33:50Speaker 2: It starts shaking, and there's this moment where I just
- 33:54Speaker 2: stand there for a second and go like where do
- 33:57Speaker 2: I go? But then by the time I have an
- 33:59Speaker 2: idea of where to go, it's over.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yeah, and so Hayley going a doorway.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Haley grabbed Phoebe and like had her like under her
- 34:06Speaker 2: and was laying next to the couch. So I just
- 34:10Speaker 2: ran over and like laid over them. But I was like,
- 34:13Speaker 2: what does that do?
- 34:15Speaker 5: But so the image in your house or no image
- 34:18Speaker 5: in our house is like day and night.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Did y'all just lay there.
- 34:21Speaker 3: We were passed out, so we gone asleep.
- 34:23Speaker 5: We went to sleep at eight o'clock last night, and
- 34:25Speaker 5: so we went woken up by the earthquake and Robbie
- 34:29Speaker 5: gets up out of bed to grab his phone and
- 34:32Speaker 5: I'm like, meanwhile, sudden, he's in her crate.
- 34:35Speaker 3: We didn't even touch her. We left her in her crate.
- 34:37Speaker 3: And I was just staying in bed and I was
- 34:38Speaker 3: like whoa. I was like, what time is it?
- 34:40Speaker 5: Thinking it was like three am, because I felt like
- 34:42Speaker 5: I'd slept for like ages, like what I feel like
- 34:49Speaker 5: I got woken up out of like a deep rem sleep,
- 34:51Speaker 5: like full blown.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Well, it happened in North Hollywood, so it probably was
- 34:54Speaker 2: stronger for me.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it was strong for us too.
- 34:57Speaker 2: It was it was it felt I felt like it
- 34:59Speaker 2: shook for a long time, but people were like it
- 35:01Speaker 2: took for a second, so I don't know. But anyways,
- 35:04Speaker 2: right back to bed, I'm like, okay. So then I
- 35:06Speaker 2: go into this crazy like So when there's an earthquake,
- 35:09Speaker 2: typically there can be an aftershock, and sometimes the aftershocks
- 35:13Speaker 2: have been bigger than the earthquake, and it is so terrifying.
- 35:16Speaker 2: So there's this level of anxiety that I sit with
- 35:19Speaker 2: for for about an hour and then I'm like, okay, wow,
- 35:23Speaker 2: just like waiting for it. Yeah, Like I can't really
- 35:25Speaker 2: go to sleep until I feel the aftershock and then
- 35:27Speaker 2: I can go to sleep. But it's weird. Everything on
- 35:30Speaker 2: our shelves shakes, it's it's jarring.
- 35:32Speaker 5: I had quite like a weird night last night because
- 35:35Speaker 5: because I haven't been sleeping, so I was like, I
- 35:38Speaker 5: took myself off of my lemmies because I was like,
- 35:40Speaker 5: I don't want to be taking something every night to
- 35:42Speaker 5: go to sleep, So I stopped taking my lemmies for
- 35:44Speaker 5: like a long time. But because I've been having trouble sleeping,
- 35:47Speaker 5: I'm back on my lemmies, so I pop my lemmies.
- 35:49Speaker 5: Robbie passed out of like seven thirty or something, so
- 35:51Speaker 5: I took my lemmies at eight. Mark sends me a text, Hey,
- 35:54Speaker 5: I'm missing a trending report, and I was like, I've
- 35:55Speaker 5: already taken my lettes and I need to like whip
- 35:58Speaker 5: up some something right now.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Then I whip it up. I send it. It's very bad.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I could tell you're on lemmyes, not that you mention it.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Yeah, And then I woke it up. By this like weird.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah, earthquake. It was just like a weird night.
- 36:11Speaker 2: I'm back on the Lemmys too.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Yeah, and it'd probably be on my Lemmies until my wedding.
- 36:15Speaker 2: The best sleep and it's my little sweet treat before
- 36:17Speaker 2: I get to bed.
- 36:18Speaker 3: It's so delicious.
- 36:19Speaker 2: They're so good. Yeah, it's they're lucky. They capin it too.
- 36:24Speaker 3: You only take two?
- 36:25Speaker 2: What?
- 36:27Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 36:27Speaker 3: Like I take seven? No, I take three?
- 36:30Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, whoa No wonder your sleep so well? Yeah? Okay,
- 36:34Speaker 2: celebrity sidings, new couples. Let's make some predictions.
- 36:38Speaker 1: All right, March third, got it down here in my
- 36:41Speaker 1: little notes app. Has anybody else broken up by the
- 36:44Speaker 1: way that we've predicted in the past, because I got
- 36:46Speaker 1: a lot of predictions here.
- 36:48Speaker 2: It's hard hard to say.
- 36:49Speaker 5: It's hard to say, but I mean, couples break up
- 36:51Speaker 5: every day another day.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Now the dollar.
- 36:54Speaker 1: You're officially wrong about Taylor and Travis. You predicted they'd
- 36:57Speaker 1: broke up last October, just.
- 36:58Speaker 2: So you know, we don't know if they did for
- 37:00Speaker 2: a little bitter Yeah, I do remember there being a
- 37:04Speaker 2: little there.
- 37:05Speaker 5: No, I'm surprised that Meghan Markle and Harry Prince Harry
- 37:07Speaker 5: are Soult together.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I'm not it's like that.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Did she make a prediction about them?
- 37:12Speaker 2: I did? I think I said ten years.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Let me have a little gander here.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I know I gave him prediction.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Meghan and Darryl. No, that's not them. Megan was Meghan
- 37:21Speaker 1: and Daryl.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Oh oh, Meghan Darryl Sabara.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Mean Harry and Meghan ten years? You said, yeah, that's
- 37:31Speaker 1: till twenty thirty three on that? Yeah, yeah, all right,
- 37:34Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Okay, So Madeline Pesh was seen leaving a party, uh
- 37:38Speaker 2: together with Tiger. Tiger has dated? If didn't Tiger date,
- 37:43Speaker 2: who else did he date other than Kylie? There was
- 37:47Speaker 2: someone random? Yeah too?
- 37:51Speaker 3: Hold on, yeah, but I think it was.
- 37:54Speaker 6: Is Alien.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Wow, I didn't know he still was iggy after Avril.
- 37:59Speaker 5: Really need the timeline of everybody's dating.
- 38:02Speaker 2: This, this has this is a key factor in my prediction.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Well, the way Tiger Avril was recent that.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Was three That's what I thought they were still together.
- 38:11Speaker 3: They're not there there, I would not.
- 38:14Speaker 2: For Avril's sake if he's seen that.
- 38:16Speaker 3: What's your time prediction on that time prediction on.
- 38:19Speaker 2: This one is I'm going to say eight months.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Oh, damn should say Thanksgiving just to be very cute
- 38:26Speaker 1: about it.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Giving Thanksgiving right around the Thanksgiving era.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Can you do the third bullet?
- 38:32Speaker 2: No, I'm gonna do. Channing Tatum was seen with model
- 38:35Speaker 2: Inco Williams while leaving a pre Oscars party.
- 38:38Speaker 1: He's forty four.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Okay, we're going to give out about six months.
- 38:43Speaker 3: I give that two. I'm not really good at this predicting.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Thing, but labor day on that one.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Okay, We're going Zoe Kravitz and Noah Centennial.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Centeno, anyone's last names.
- 38:58Speaker 2: He's from All the.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Love Before, Yes, Yes, and the show that I loved,
- 39:02Speaker 3: The Recruit.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Okay. They were seen leaving a restaurant around two twenty am.
- 39:08Speaker 5: This is They also were at a Heim's, one of
- 39:12Speaker 5: the hims sister's birthday parties together. Oh sorry, sorry, they
- 39:15Speaker 5: were not together. They were leaving with a group of friends,
- 39:18Speaker 5: but they were like in the front of the friend
- 39:19Speaker 5: group together.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Okay, they were leading the pack together. Yes, okay, my prediction. Okay,
- 39:26Speaker 2: this takes me back to our dear vonya episode when
- 39:29Speaker 2: the girl was wanting to date the younger guy and
- 39:31Speaker 2: you said ride that pony.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Yeah, clip by the way really good.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a good clip. I'm going to give
- 39:38Speaker 2: this one. I'm going to give this six months. Sounds fun,
- 39:45Speaker 2: fun fling.
- 39:46Speaker 5: Summer fling sack that you gave Madeline Petch and Tiger
- 39:51Speaker 5: eight months, but you're giving Noah Centeneo and Zoe Kravitt
- 39:54Speaker 5: six is telling.
- 39:55Speaker 2: I think Taiga is a relationship guy. I don't know much.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I don't know enough about him, but I feel like
- 40:01Speaker 2: he's with Kylie. For a while, I felt like he
- 40:03Speaker 2: was with a.
- 40:04Speaker 5: So my new favorite couple is not on this list,
- 40:06Speaker 5: but I would like you to give a prediction for
- 40:08Speaker 5: them because I'm obsessed with them. Monica Barbara and Andrew Garfield.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Do you not know who she is?
- 40:15Speaker 2: No?
- 40:15Speaker 5: So, did you see the Bob Dylan movie with Timothy
- 40:18Speaker 5: Shalam Oh girl.
- 40:20Speaker 2: The one with the branana.
- 40:21Speaker 3: And she was also in Top Gun Maverick.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, Okay, that's her.
- 40:26Speaker 3: That's her and then is like the hotty like, yeah,
- 40:30Speaker 3: I know, and.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Garfield, I'm gonna oh, I kind of like this one.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Quirky though, that guy I have found. How does he
- 40:37Speaker 1: may be?
- 40:38Speaker 3: He seems quirky, totally quirky in the best ways.
- 40:41Speaker 2: But I think Andrew Garfield was quirky before he was
- 40:45Speaker 2: labeled as a hot Yeah, I agree, a hot actor,
- 40:48Speaker 2: which I like.
- 40:49Speaker 3: I love them together.
- 40:50Speaker 2: But I was really sad when he and Emma Stone
- 40:52Speaker 2: broke up to me still morning that.
- 40:53Speaker 5: I'm still holding hope. Oh interesting, she's married and everyone
- 40:57Speaker 5: hope is gone.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Saturday Night Live pretty.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah, and they have children, so.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Okay, we hope that, we hope that they're happy. Yeah,
- 41:05Speaker 2: but that was sad. Okay, So I'm saying they Actually
- 41:14Speaker 2: I could see marriage. I could see marriage. Wow.
- 41:17Speaker 6: Wow.
- 41:18Speaker 2: He gives me like dating to get married vibes.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Really, I don't know, are married vibes?
- 41:26Speaker 2: No?
- 41:27Speaker 1: Are you saying forever for gar Farborough?
- 41:30Speaker 2: No? But I'm saying married Garth Barbara Afield. My how
- 41:36Speaker 2: my predictions work. They go to a certain level of like, uh,
- 41:42Speaker 2: significant moments. So I think marriage, but I don't. I
- 41:45Speaker 2: can't see past, like how long the marriage is?
- 41:47Speaker 1: You know, most of these you've given before have been
- 41:50Speaker 1: forever or long game or five years or ten years.
- 41:52Speaker 1: You've given forever to a lot of different couples.
- 41:56Speaker 2: I've given forever to a lot of couples.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Like you're pretty Blake and Ryan forever, Her, Jax and
- 42:01Speaker 1: Kristen Forever, Megan and Darryl Forever, Matthew and s JP forever,
- 42:07Speaker 1: Astona forever, Faith and Tim forever, Krasinski Blunt forever, Will
- 42:12Speaker 1: and Jada five years, but a lot of forevers. I'm
- 42:15Speaker 1: just saying, you don't shy away from forever. You say
- 42:18Speaker 1: jannat Cramer and Alan Russell forever. It's giving joy gross
- 42:21Speaker 1: day and whoever she is.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Forever, listen, she's giving hopeful, hopeful romantic. She's giving hopeful
- 42:31Speaker 2: romantic because we believe in love here on scrubbing in. Yes,
- 42:35Speaker 2: we believe in the long game.
- 42:36Speaker 3: We believe.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I'm putting marriage for that one. I'm not putting a time.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I'm not putting forever.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Good luck to what's her name, Mara, Monica, Monica, Monica, Barbara,
- 42:48Speaker 2: Monica Barbara and Andrew Garfield, wishing you the best in
- 42:52Speaker 2: your relationship, your new your news sighting. It's literally a
- 42:56Speaker 2: celebrity relationship siding. And that's how much my belief is.
- 43:02Speaker 5: So before we wrap this up, yeah, oh, I'm a
- 43:07Speaker 5: fan of the podcast The Toast, and they just change
- 43:11Speaker 5: their jingle into their like, into their like they had
- 43:14Speaker 5: like like remember how we solicited scrubbers like help us
- 43:16Speaker 5: come up with a new theme song, and we like
- 43:18Speaker 5: never did it. Yeah, they actually did it, and they
- 43:21Speaker 5: have a really fun song that leads into their podcast,
- 43:24Speaker 5: and I cannot get it out of my head, like
- 43:27Speaker 5: literally cannot get it out of my head. And I
- 43:29Speaker 5: feel like we need one for scrubbing in. So once
- 43:32Speaker 5: I'm done with my wedding, I'm going to need a project,
- 43:34Speaker 5: and I think I can make this my project.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Okay, great, do it.
- 43:37Speaker 3: We have to sing it though, because I think we
- 43:39Speaker 3: have to have like the license something, so there's that.
- 43:45Speaker 5: But I'm not like good with like a melody in
- 43:47Speaker 5: a tune, so I might need to.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Like you're better than you give yourself credit for. I mean,
- 43:51Speaker 1: come on, thank you. I've got a boyfriend.
- 43:53Speaker 5: Holy wow, I just wrote lyrics to like a dua
- 43:56Speaker 5: lipa song, you know what I mean?
- 43:57Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, lyricist, not.
- 44:03Speaker 5: Like that.
- 44:03Speaker 1: You didn't come that lyrics, Bernie Talpin.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Okay, I'll write the lyrics.
- 44:09Speaker 3: I'll write the lyrics and I'll get the tune elsewhere.
- 44:13Speaker 2: I about what they did is they listened to the
- 44:15Speaker 2: all their like top submissions and then they went throughout
- 44:17Speaker 2: their day in which everyone was kind of stuck in
- 44:20Speaker 2: their head.
- 44:20Speaker 3: They probably stucky in the head. It's like, we'll leave
- 44:24Speaker 3: you Swirly twirly, it's the tes it's so good.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Well Miles came up with it, not like that, soe
- 44:32Speaker 1: he'd come up with another one for you. He's a
- 44:34Speaker 1: good guy. He loves stuff like that.
- 44:35Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, great, Well there's any Scrubbers that are musically
- 44:38Speaker 6: inclined because when we did this the first time I
- 44:41Speaker 6: got I got a lot of d ms that said, hey,
- 44:43Speaker 6: you should do a new song that kind of sounds jazzy,
- 44:45Speaker 6: and I'm like, okay, that means I have to write it.
- 44:47Speaker 6: That's all we're looking for. We want you to do it.
- 44:50Speaker 5: I mean, let's actually think, like through a funnel, what
- 44:55Speaker 5: would we want the song to like? Do we want
- 44:57Speaker 5: to be happy? Do we want happy? Happy jingle?
- 45:00Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 45:01Speaker 2: Do you know one of the scrubbers that got to
- 45:03Speaker 2: me at Easton's at the east Awards, she said, I
- 45:05Speaker 2: just want to say thank you to all of you
- 45:08Speaker 2: guys because you make my day feel so happy and
- 45:12Speaker 2: getting to like put my headphones on and put your
- 45:15Speaker 2: podcast on when I'm going on a walk or doing anything.
- 45:18Speaker 2: It just brings so much joy to my life. And
- 45:20Speaker 2: I was like, oh nice, that's all we want to do.
- 45:22Speaker 5: Yeah, so happy now that I'm now that I'm a
- 45:25Speaker 5: walking girly, I'm getting back into my podcast world and
- 45:29Speaker 5: I feel the same way like I love listening to podcasts.
- 45:31Speaker 2: I love it great.
- 45:33Speaker 6: Thank you so much for that update podcast podcast.
- 45:40Speaker 2: You heard scrubbing and exclusive.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Okay, so we want upbeat, fun poppy.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:46Speaker 1: If you're a musician you want to send us something,
- 45:48Speaker 1: go ahead.
