Ellis Johnson: Auburn/Florida Will Reveal How Far Tigers Have Come | Coach’s Corner
How far has Auburn really come under Alex Golesh? Former Auburn defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson joins Ronnie Sanders to explain why Saturday’s SEC opener against Florida is the first true measuring stick for two 2-0 programs trying to return to conference contention.
Johnson breaks down Auburn’s 43-8 victory over Southern Miss and explains why DJ Durkin’s defense is giving the offense time to grow. He examines Byrum Brown’s progress, the importance of becoming more physical at the line of scrimmage and what the Tigers still need to discover about themselves.
