- 3:20Speaker 1: I have to tell you. I'm going to warn you.
- 3:22Speaker 1: This first case is very hard, okay, and I'm going
- 3:26Speaker 1: to try and make it through without crying. But I
- 3:30Speaker 1: do have all waterproof mass care just in case I can't.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's heartbreaking for so many reasons. If you're new here,
- 3:41Speaker 1: my monkey but my granddaughter we call her monkey butt.
- 3:45Speaker 1: This little boy just yeah, So let's just get started.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Today we shine the light on the disappearance of a
- 3:53Speaker 1: little boy who touched so many hearts and a child
- 3:56Speaker 1: whose case continues to weigh heavily on his family, the community,
- 4:01Speaker 1: and all of the investigators still searching for answers. This
- 4:06Speaker 1: is the story of Michael Joseph Vaughn, lovingly known as Monkey. Say, guys,
- 4:12Speaker 1: right off the bat, so he vanished without a trace
- 4:15Speaker 1: from his fruit Land, oh Idaho neighborhood on July twenty seventh,
- 4:21Speaker 1: twenty twenty one. Now today we'll walk through Michael's story,
- 4:26Speaker 1: retrace the timeline, discuss the investigation, and show you how
- 4:32Speaker 1: you can help, Okay, because someone out there knows what's happened,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and together we can help bring him home and give
- 4:41Speaker 1: his family the justice and the peace they deserve. Now,
- 4:46Speaker 1: Michael Joseph Vaughn was just five years old when he disappeared.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Guys five years old, He was three feet seven inches tall,
- 4:55Speaker 1: He weighed around fifty pounds. He was a wee little thing, Okay,
- 4:59Speaker 1: had blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Like I said,
- 5:02Speaker 1: his nickname was Monkey, and they say it was a
- 5:05Speaker 1: fitting tribute to his love for climbing in his boundless energy. Now.
- 5:11Speaker 1: At the time he went missing, Michael was wearing a
- 5:14Speaker 1: light blue Minecraft T shirt, dark blue boxer breeves with
- 5:18Speaker 1: a green stripe and flip flop sandals. Guys. I can
- 5:23Speaker 1: just picture him dressed like that, and it just my mind,
- 5:28Speaker 1: It just shaft. He lived in a quiet, close knit
- 5:32Speaker 1: neighborhood on Southwest ninth Street and Fruitland, Idaho. Guys. Everyone
- 5:38Speaker 1: described it as safe and family friendly. Now Michael was adventurous, playful,
- 5:45Speaker 1: and full of joy. He loved macaroni and cheese, pizza
- 5:50Speaker 1: and ice cream. Who doesn't, and anything involving monster trucks.
- 5:56Speaker 1: He enjoyed hunting frogs just like my monkey butt, going
- 6:00Speaker 1: camping and fishing with his family, just like my monkey butt.
- 6:04Speaker 1: His favorite color was blue, and he especially loved the
- 6:08Speaker 1: Fourth of July because it was a holiday filled with
- 6:11Speaker 1: fireworks and fun. I mean, oh, it just okay, about
- 6:16Speaker 1: to I'm getting it together, guys. He was about to
- 6:20Speaker 1: start kindergarten and he was excited, okay. He adored playing
- 6:24Speaker 1: video games, especially Minecraft, with his older brother Now. His mom,
- 6:29Speaker 1: Brandy Neil, and his dad, Tyler Vaughan described him as
- 6:34Speaker 1: a fearless, loving child with a big personality and an
- 6:39Speaker 1: even bigger heart. Now on Tuesday, July twenty seventh, twenty
- 6:45Speaker 1: twenty one, Timberature sword into the one hundreds. It was
- 6:48Speaker 1: a hot day, okay. Michael was home for summer break
- 6:52Speaker 1: with his dad and siblings, so his mom, Brandy, left
- 6:56Speaker 1: for work around now that noon. That day, it had
- 6:59Speaker 1: been an ordinary summer afternoon. Now, at approximately four PM,
- 7:04Speaker 1: Brandy called home to check in. She spoke briefly with
- 7:08Speaker 1: Michael and told him she loved him, and she said
- 7:11Speaker 1: she'd tuck him in that night. Now, Michael was in
- 7:14Speaker 1: the living room playing video games. Now, at around six
- 7:17Speaker 1: thirty pm, Tyler left the room to go check on
- 7:21Speaker 1: their napping daughter. He changed her diaper, then made a
- 7:24Speaker 1: call to order pizza for dinner and guys. A call
- 7:28Speaker 1: with that call has been verified with a timestep. But
- 7:32Speaker 1: when he returned to the living room just minutes later,
- 7:36Speaker 1: Michael was gone, guys and his dad. Tyler began checking
- 7:41Speaker 1: around the house and outside, calling for Michael. Now, after
- 7:45Speaker 1: a frantic search turned up nothing, he made two urgent
- 7:50Speaker 1: phone calls around seven pm, one to nine one one
- 7:54Speaker 1: and one to Brandy. Brandy said. She recalls hearing the
- 7:59Speaker 1: panic and Tyler voice as he shouted from Michael. She said,
- 8:03Speaker 1: the sound in his voice stuck with me. She later
- 8:07Speaker 1: said her coworker said, girl, leave, immediately, get out of here.
- 8:12Speaker 1: So Brandy raised home. As she entered her neighborhood, she
- 8:16Speaker 1: saw police at the local splash pad, then feathered down
- 8:20Speaker 1: her street and finally in her own driveway. Tyler was
- 8:24Speaker 1: already speaking with an officer. Neighbors were already out searching.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Drones scanned the area. CA nine units were deployed. Boats
- 8:35Speaker 1: began searching the nearby Snake River. Hundreds of community members assisted,
- 8:41Speaker 1: checking fields, errouguition ditches, and surrounding people, surrounding people, surrounding properties.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Police issued a missing and Endangered child alert at eight
- 8:52Speaker 1: twenty pm, sending messages via phone, email, and a text.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Four alerts were issued between eight to twenty eleven. Twenty
- 9:01Speaker 1: Michael's information was entered into the NCIC, which is the
- 9:06Speaker 1: National Crime Information Centered Database, and it was shared nationwide. Guys,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I have to say, this was response was amazing. So
- 9:17Speaker 1: many times we see law enforcement not jump, they ran
- 9:21Speaker 1: away whatever, not this time, So I want to give
- 9:25Speaker 1: credit where credit is due they got called around seven.
- 9:30Speaker 1: They were issuing that endangered alert by eight twenty. That
- 9:35Speaker 1: is amazing. So Fruitland, y'all did an amazing job. Now
- 9:41Speaker 1: it's believed that Michael left through the garage since the
- 9:44Speaker 1: front door was difficult to open and made noise. Now,
- 9:49Speaker 1: multiple witnesses reported seeing Michael in the neighborhood asking if
- 9:53Speaker 1: their children could come out to play. One neighbor confirmed
- 9:57Speaker 1: he knocked on her door, but her kids couldn't go
- 10:01Speaker 1: out and play. Guys, he just wanted to go play
- 10:05Speaker 1: and have fun. That was the last known sighting. Now
- 10:09Speaker 1: canines track is sent to the end of the street
- 10:12Speaker 1: where it abruptly ended. Now, multiple agencies joined the search. Guys,
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you who, because it's impressive. Fruitland
- 10:22Speaker 1: Police Department, Idaho State Police, SBI, the Fruitland Fire Department,
- 10:28Speaker 1: Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue, Mountain State Detective Dogs, Fruitland
- 10:34Speaker 1: Public Works, Bayett County Prosecutor's Office, in Washington County Sheriff's Office.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I mean, guys, that is impressive. Okay, that's impressive. Now,
- 10:48Speaker 1: Fruitland Police announced they were looking for two vehicles in
- 10:53Speaker 1: two individuals who may have been in the area at
- 10:56Speaker 1: the time. Okay, a twenty sixteen to white Honda Pilot.
- 11:02Speaker 1: The car was seen on surveillage footage leaving the area
- 11:06Speaker 1: of Southwest h Street around six forty seven pm. Now,
- 11:12Speaker 1: also a twenty ten to twenty eleven blue Dodge Avenger. Okay,
- 11:17Speaker 1: not the male. They're looking for a shirtless male with
- 11:20Speaker 1: dark hair and dark shorts. And then a male with
- 11:23Speaker 1: dark hair, white T shirt and black shorts seen walking
- 11:27Speaker 1: through the splash pad area of Cresview Park. Now, guys,
- 11:31Speaker 1: police have emphasized these are not suspects. They are individual
- 11:37Speaker 1: who might have seen something important and they don't even
- 11:40Speaker 1: know it. Okay. In November twenty twenty two, a major
- 11:46Speaker 1: development occurred when a credible tip was called in and
- 11:51Speaker 1: Sarah Wandra was arrested in charge with failure to report
- 11:56Speaker 1: a death in connections to Michael's disappearance. Now, her husband,
- 12:01Speaker 1: Stacy Wonder, allegedly told police that Sarah knew of Michael's
- 12:07Speaker 1: death but never reported it. Now recently released bodycam footage
- 12:14Speaker 1: of Stacy explaining to police where to find Michael's remains.
- 12:19Speaker 1: She said they were buried on their property at that
- 12:21Speaker 1: surfaced on YouTube. Now you can find that video on
- 12:25Speaker 1: YouTube at clutch Them Pearls loved that name. Now. The
- 12:31Speaker 1: couple lived on red Wing Street, just minutes from Michael's home.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Their backyard was excavated some evidence was recovered, though Michael's
- 12:43Speaker 1: remains were not found. Authorities believe his body was buried
- 12:48Speaker 1: there and later removed. Now Sarah and Stacy are considered suspects,
- 12:56Speaker 1: along with two other men who lived at the residence,
- 13:00Speaker 1: Adrian Lusen In Brandon Shirtlift, both from Ohio. Now guys.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Sarah's charges were dismissed without prejudice in spring of twenty
- 13:12Speaker 1: twenty three. That means they can be refiled now. Payatt
- 13:18Speaker 1: County prosecuting Attorney filed the motion to drop the charges,
- 13:23Speaker 1: stating that based on evidence from the Idaho Supreme Court
- 13:28Speaker 1: twenty eighteen ruling in State versus Aikins might be a
- 13:33Speaker 1: defense for the case. In the twenty eighteen Aikins case,
- 13:39Speaker 1: the Idaho Supreme Court eheld the dismissal of a charge
- 13:43Speaker 1: a failure to report a death on a constitutional issue,
- 13:48Speaker 1: specifically the Fifth Amendment. You have the right not to
- 13:53Speaker 1: incriminate yourself. Now, she is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges
- 14:00Speaker 1: of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in destruction or
- 14:04Speaker 1: concealment of evidence from April twenty two, with the release
- 14:09Speaker 1: date no earlier than twenty twenty six. Now, Stacy Wonder
- 14:14Speaker 1: has a history of firearms violation and is currently in
- 14:19Speaker 1: the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons for total
- 14:23Speaker 1: of twelve months in one day. That's as of court
- 14:26Speaker 1: records dated three twenty seven this year. Now, his supervisor
- 14:31Speaker 1: release has been revoked. Okay. While Stacy was out on
- 14:36Speaker 1: supervised release, he had given interviews, but he's been inconsistent
- 14:42Speaker 1: about the case. Now, Lusen and Shirtlift have been questioned
- 14:47Speaker 1: previously by law enforcement, and they are actively looking to
- 14:52Speaker 1: talk to them again, and they believe they have first
- 14:56Speaker 1: hand knowledge of what happened to Michael. Now, on April seventeenth,
- 15:02Speaker 1: in I think it's Coutina County, Idaho, Brandon Shirtliff was
- 15:07Speaker 1: arrested for driving inattentive or careless. I guess that's I'm
- 15:13Speaker 1: not sure he wasn't paying attention and he remains in
- 15:17Speaker 1: jail with the release date of today, April twenty first,
- 15:22Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Okay. Now, over the course of the investigation,
- 15:28Speaker 1: there have been a few theories out there from Michael
- 15:32Speaker 1: wandered off and succumbed to the elements. Guys, that was
- 15:35Speaker 1: over one hundred degrees that day. Michael was a victim
- 15:38Speaker 1: of a stranger abduction. This is supported by the sudden
- 15:43Speaker 1: end of his centrail. And worse than that was that
- 15:47Speaker 1: the family was involved. Now, Brandy and Tyler have been
- 15:51Speaker 1: completely transparent with law enforcement and remain fully cooperative. Guys,
- 15:58Speaker 1: I've said this and I'll say it again again. Anytime
- 16:01Speaker 1: you go outside of your house, something nefarious can happen.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Michael was just going door to door looking for somebody
- 16:10Speaker 1: to play with, and somebody came along and did something bad. Now,
- 16:16Speaker 1: from the very beginning, Michael's family has fought to keep
- 16:20Speaker 1: his story alive. Brandy Neil has made countless public appeals, interviews,
- 16:26Speaker 1: and social media efforts to bring attention to her son's case,
- 16:32Speaker 1: and despite harsh criticism and scrutiny, both Brandy and Tyler
- 16:36Speaker 1: have maintained their innocence and their focus. They continue to
- 16:42Speaker 1: support law enforcement efforts and trust the investigation process. January
- 16:48Speaker 1: of this year, Brandy revealed she is now battling a
- 16:52Speaker 1: life threatening illness, but even now she says she will
- 16:56Speaker 1: never stop fighting for answers to promise to Michael she
- 17:02Speaker 1: would never give up until he's home. Vigils, fundraisers, and
- 17:08Speaker 1: search events and digital campaigns continue to be organized by
- 17:13Speaker 1: the Fruitland community. Brandy asked the public to please keep
- 17:18Speaker 1: shining light on Monkey's case. The case remains active and open.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Investigators continue to perceive leads, and they urge the public
- 17:30Speaker 1: to come forward. Guys, if you know anything, no matter
- 17:35Speaker 1: how small, please contact the Fruitland Police Department. Their tip
- 17:41Speaker 1: line is one to zero eight six four to two
- 17:45Speaker 1: six zero zero six. Guys, this little boy, I mean,
- 17:51Speaker 1: look at him. He is adorable. He should be growing
- 17:55Speaker 1: up right now. He should be just moving on in
- 18:01Speaker 1: his life, celebrating birthdays, playing with his brothers, and going
- 18:05Speaker 1: camping with his family. Instead, here we are me asking
- 18:11Speaker 1: where is Monkey. Every person recovers matters, Every family deserves
- 18:18Speaker 1: the truth. Someone out there knows something. If you know
- 18:23Speaker 1: anything about that couple, or those two guys, or something
- 18:28Speaker 1: totally different, please, like I said, called the police. Also
- 18:34Speaker 1: share this episode everywhere you can. Let's keep Michael also
- 18:39Speaker 1: known as Monkey, Let's keep his name alive. Let's help
- 18:44Speaker 1: bring him home. I mean guys, just the thought of
- 18:50Speaker 1: your child going out knocking on doors asking if the
- 18:55Speaker 1: kids can come out to play, and some horrible human
- 18:58Speaker 1: being comes along and does something. I mean, it just
- 19:03Speaker 1: breaks my heart. Guys. I mean, if you know of
- 19:07Speaker 1: or you have a loved one who's missing and you
- 19:10Speaker 1: want us to feature their story on an upcoming episode,
- 19:15Speaker 1: or if you're a family member and want to join
- 19:18Speaker 1: us for a live interview, contact Amy, our assistant producer,
- 19:22Speaker 1: by emailing Amy at tcwtmedia dot com. We want to
- 19:27Speaker 1: get out your loved one's message, or someone from your
- 19:32Speaker 1: community help us get the word out. Okay, Now this
- 19:38Speaker 1: next case, it is heartbreaking and just us baffling as
- 19:43Speaker 1: Michaels in a different way, but even more disturbing in
- 19:49Speaker 1: some ways. So this is the case of Terence Woods,
- 19:53Speaker 1: a twenty seven year old TV production assistant who vanished
- 19:58Speaker 1: while on a remote film shoe An Our Grande, Idaho,
- 20:04Speaker 1: back in twenty eighteen. Terrence was twenty seven and he
- 20:09Speaker 1: stood about five feet nine inches tall and weighed approximately
- 20:13Speaker 1: one hundred and thirty pounds. He's a black male with
- 20:16Speaker 1: black care and brown eyes. Because he's a good looking dude. Okay,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I know, I shouldn't say that, but he's a good
- 20:24Speaker 1: looking dude now. Terrence was born and raised in Capital Heights, Maryland,
- 20:29Speaker 1: and he worked in the television industry. He was known
- 20:32Speaker 1: for his work ethic, his calm demeanor, and his ambition.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Those who knew him described him as thoughtful, intelligent, and kind.
- 20:43Speaker 1: He was seft spoken, and he was passionate about storytelling
- 20:49Speaker 1: and loved his family deeply. He had production credits with
- 20:54Speaker 1: major networks like the Discovery Channel in National Geographic Guys,
- 20:58Speaker 1: that's a big deal. At the time of his disappearance,
- 21:01Speaker 1: he was working with a UK sed based company Raw
- 21:05Speaker 1: TV on the show gold Rush, David Turren's Lost Mine Now.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Terrence had flown from Maryland to Idaho to assist with filming.
- 21:17Speaker 1: He had reportedly expressed feeling uneasy about the trip, but
- 21:22Speaker 1: followed through with the assignment. Didn't find why he was uneasy.
- 21:28Speaker 1: He had worked on remote shoots before and he had
- 21:31Speaker 1: a solid reputation in the industry. On October fifth, twenty eighteen,
- 21:37Speaker 1: the production crew was filming near the pin Man Mine,
- 21:41Speaker 1: a remote area in the mountains outside of or A Grande, Idaho.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Now around five thirty PM, crewmembers claimed Terrence suddenly dropped
- 21:51Speaker 1: his radio that was on his belt and ran into
- 21:55Speaker 1: the woods. One guy even said he ran faster than
- 21:59Speaker 1: he had seen someone run, and he was not dressed
- 22:02Speaker 1: for the rugged terrain or the weather. In this area
- 22:06Speaker 1: is known for dense forest, steep cliffs, and old mine shafts. Guys,
- 22:13Speaker 1: a guy from Maryland, I don't know, would he really
- 22:17Speaker 1: just drop and run into unknown woods? Because I'm an
- 22:23Speaker 1: adventurous girl. I will go knock on a drug dealer's
- 22:26Speaker 1: door or potential murder suspect. I'm not running out into
- 22:30Speaker 1: the woods like that. There could be bears and snakes
- 22:34Speaker 1: and spiders and people. Okay, there could be things now.
- 22:39Speaker 1: The team searched briefly before notifying law enforcement. The Idaho
- 22:44Speaker 1: County Sheriff's Office was called in and launched a multi
- 22:48Speaker 1: day search involving local volunteer search and rescue teams, state
- 22:54Speaker 1: resources for aerial assistants such as drones and helicopters, and
- 23:00Speaker 1: ground teams with search dogs okay in helicopters. The search
- 23:05Speaker 1: was extensive given the terrain crews search nearby mine shafts, waterways,
- 23:12Speaker 1: enforested slopes, but it was eventually called off with no results, guys,
- 23:18Speaker 1: No trace of Terence has ever been found. Guys. His phone, passport,
- 23:27Speaker 1: and luggage were all left behind at the hotel, raising
- 23:31Speaker 1: more questions about what happened. Guys. I get leaving your
- 23:36Speaker 1: passport and your luggage at the hotel, But why are
- 23:38Speaker 1: your phone even when no, I'm not gonna have cell service,
- 23:42Speaker 1: I take my phone? What if I want to snap
- 23:44Speaker 1: a picture? What you know? Just what if? Right? No
- 23:49Speaker 1: confirmed sightings or evidence have been recovered. Now there are
- 23:55Speaker 1: conflicting accounts of what happened, guys. And if you want
- 23:59Speaker 1: to go down the Reddit rabbit hole, there's a rabbit
- 24:03Speaker 1: rabbit hole about this case. Okay, So if you want
- 24:07Speaker 1: to go down there, you go on ahead. Now, some
- 24:10Speaker 1: crew members claim Terrence was acting strangely before he ran off. However,
- 24:16Speaker 1: his family disputes this dating he was not experiencing mental
- 24:20Speaker 1: health issues and had never shown any erratic behavior in
- 24:25Speaker 1: the past. He was just an all around chill dude. Okay. Now,
- 24:30Speaker 1: his father, Terence Senior, has publicly questioned the timeline shared
- 24:36Speaker 1: by the production team and believes something more have may
- 24:40Speaker 1: have happened. Guys, go over to that Reddit rabbit hole.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Just type in his name and you will find it.
- 24:48Speaker 1: His father has been deeply involved in seeking justice, raising
- 24:52Speaker 1: awareness through interviews, podcasts, and advocacies. We might need to
- 24:58Speaker 1: see if ap Amy can reach out to Terrence Senior
- 25:03Speaker 1: and see if he wants to talk with us. I
- 25:06Speaker 1: have so many questions for him. Terrence's family has never
- 25:10Speaker 1: stopped searching for answers, and his family believes that someone
- 25:15Speaker 1: on that mountain knows what really happened. Guys, I'm going
- 25:20Speaker 1: to just tell you something is up with this case.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I mean, something suspicious is up. I don't know why.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Maybe it's because I went down the Reddit rabbit hole.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Something doesn't make sense, and I think everybody needs to
- 25:35Speaker 1: be reinterviewed. I don't know. We need to do something.
- 25:39Speaker 1: It is an open investigation and tips are being taken.
- 25:43Speaker 1: If you have any information, no matter how small, please
- 25:47Speaker 1: contact the Idaho County Sheriff's Office at two eight nine
- 25:51Speaker 1: eight three eleven hundred. Guys, if you know any of
- 25:57Speaker 1: those crew members who were working on that production, maybe
- 26:01Speaker 1: they've told you something. Guys. People do not keep their
- 26:05Speaker 1: mouths zipped, Okay. The only way you can keep a
- 26:09Speaker 1: secret is for only you to know and nobody can
- 26:15Speaker 1: do that. Okay, Please share his story, share his photo,
- 26:21Speaker 1: let's keep his name circulating on social media. Every share
- 26:26Speaker 1: counts because guys, this case, it's perplexing, and he was
- 26:30Speaker 1: a young man with a bright future in media and
- 26:34Speaker 1: he's gone without a trace and idahole wilderness and still
- 26:38Speaker 1: there's no real answers and that it couldn't have just
- 26:43Speaker 1: I don't know, it didn't just happen. It's I just
- 26:47Speaker 1: don't believe he can disappear. Okay. Now, Angie says that
- 26:55Speaker 1: cameras are constantly rolling has to be something. I agree.
- 27:01Speaker 1: I want to know if you were filming there weren't
- 27:05Speaker 1: their cameras running, and if you ran into the woods
- 27:08Speaker 1: to search for him, wouldn't you have turned cameras on
- 27:12Speaker 1: when you Okay, Ah, Samantha, you are right, she says,
- 27:18Speaker 1: unless someone was like, no need to take your phone,
- 27:21Speaker 1: you won't have service and we have our production camera. True,
- 27:26Speaker 1: but unless they tell me I can't take it, I'm
- 27:28Speaker 1: taking it with me. I don't know. It's like a
- 27:31Speaker 1: woody or something at this point in time. But then again,
- 27:34Speaker 1: we all know Terry's extra Okay, So please I ask
- 27:40Speaker 1: this every time we cover these cases. Please share the
- 27:44Speaker 1: missing person flyers that are on hers excuse me, on
- 27:48Speaker 1: our social media, Okay, please. Now, I know I've given
- 27:54Speaker 1: tips about home before, but I wanted to stress some
- 27:59Speaker 1: tips about keeping your home safe, and that includes cameras,
- 28:05Speaker 1: because whether you're off on vacation, working late, or just
- 28:08Speaker 1: trying to sleep a little easier, a few smart safety
- 28:12Speaker 1: tips can go a long way, guys, especially if you
- 28:17Speaker 1: have kids in the house. Okay, so smile, guys. You're
- 28:25Speaker 1: on camera always, Okay. Install security cameras at all entry
- 28:30Speaker 1: points front door, back door, garage, and any ground level
- 28:34Speaker 1: windows where people can get out. I mean bonus if
- 28:38Speaker 1: you could go over smart cameras that let you monitor
- 28:40Speaker 1: things in real time from your phone, because then it's
- 28:43Speaker 1: kind of like peace of mind in your pocket. We
- 28:46Speaker 1: have that. I love it. Guys. You cannot get in
- 28:52Speaker 1: to my house from any window or any door and
- 28:55Speaker 1: not be on camera. Okay. If I want to sneak out,
- 29:00Speaker 1: I can't sneak out. If somebody wants to sneak in,
- 29:04Speaker 1: they can't sneak in. And we have a camera in
- 29:07Speaker 1: our kitchen because our back door goes into the kitchen
- 29:11Speaker 1: and the two different garage doors so I even have
- 29:15Speaker 1: a camera where you can see me doing dishes occasionally
- 29:19Speaker 1: because I do dishes. So you need to have those
- 29:22Speaker 1: because if you have those, you can go back and
- 29:25Speaker 1: look and say, okay, I saw him go outside at
- 29:29Speaker 1: this time. Like when our cat was missing, I was
- 29:33Speaker 1: able to say exactly what time door the explorer went
- 29:36Speaker 1: out when she didn't come home. So it also is
- 29:39Speaker 1: good for your pets. Okay. Also you need motion activated floodlights.
- 29:46Speaker 1: They are a musk because nothing will scare off a
- 29:50Speaker 1: potential intruder faster than being spotlighted like they're on a
- 29:55Speaker 1: reality show that they didn't sign up for. I know,
- 29:58Speaker 1: I have floodlight cameras and I'm still shocked when they
- 30:01Speaker 1: go off and I go out into the back forty
- 30:03Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, who's watching me? And I have to say, yeah,
- 30:07Speaker 1: we have lights. Also, lock it down. This one does
- 30:12Speaker 1: feel obvious, but you'd be surprised even I forget to
- 30:16Speaker 1: lock my front door. Okay, lock your doors and windows.
- 30:20Speaker 1: If you have kids at home, little fliplock on the
- 30:24Speaker 1: top of your door, flip it over. What's good about
- 30:27Speaker 1: that somebody tries to break in? It gives you a
- 30:30Speaker 1: little extra protection, But if they can undo dead bolts
- 30:35Speaker 1: and undo a door lock, they still can't open that
- 30:38Speaker 1: door to get out. Okay, put it on your garage door.
- 30:42Speaker 1: When our grandson is here during the summer and our
- 30:47Speaker 1: granddaughter Monkey Bud and Action Jackson, we have that so
- 30:51Speaker 1: they won't go get in the pool, won't fall in
- 30:53Speaker 1: the pool. But also if they try to leave and
- 30:56Speaker 1: go out somewhere, I mean, little Monkey was just wanting
- 31:00Speaker 1: to go play with someone. Okay. So also, guys, keep
- 31:05Speaker 1: it off the Instagram. Don't post vacation pictures until you're
- 31:10Speaker 1: back unless someone is staying at your house. Okay, because
- 31:14Speaker 1: broadcasting that your home is empty is like saying, Hey,
- 31:18Speaker 1: I'm not coming at home, come seeal all my stuff. Okay,
- 31:22Speaker 1: don't do that. Also, guys, just so y'all know, Like
- 31:25Speaker 1: for me, I don't post stuff on Instagram to say
- 31:29Speaker 1: where I'm actually at at the minute it happens. I
- 31:32Speaker 1: do it after I leave. I've had peace. People comment, oh, wow,
- 31:36Speaker 1: you're having lunch at two am. No, I just posted
- 31:39Speaker 1: it at two am because I didn't want you to
- 31:42Speaker 1: know where I was at lunch, because I didn't want
- 31:44Speaker 1: you to come and find me. Okay. Now, Also, remember
- 31:48Speaker 1: those camera door bells aren't just for delivery drivers and
- 31:53Speaker 1: knowing when somebody steals your package. Okay. You also can
- 31:56Speaker 1: hear what people are saying okay, and you can see people. Guys. Also,
- 32:03Speaker 1: if you have big overgrown shrubs near your windows, trim
- 32:08Speaker 1: those suckers back or put a camera because somebody can
- 32:12Speaker 1: get behind those shrubs and get into your windows. Okay.
- 32:16Speaker 1: So I know Angie just said turn your location data off.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I don't do that. I take the picture so it
- 32:25Speaker 1: has the data in it, but then I don't post
- 32:28Speaker 1: it till later. I don't turn off my location because
- 32:31Speaker 1: I want my pictures to put where it is. So
- 32:34Speaker 1: if I ever need to go back and say San Antonio,
- 32:37Speaker 1: it'll give me all my pictures from San Antonio. I'm
- 32:39Speaker 1: weird that way. Here's a big thing, guys, check your
- 32:44Speaker 1: securities in your cameras. Often they stop working sometimes and
- 32:49Speaker 1: if they're on the Internet, they will go dark. Sometimes.
- 32:53Speaker 1: We had it happen with one of our cameras out
- 32:55Speaker 1: by the pool. I was out of town and I
- 32:57Speaker 1: had to call DOUBLEH and say, hey, I just trying
- 33:00Speaker 1: to chuck things since I'm not at the house and
- 33:03Speaker 1: the camera's not working. Okay, but uh oh, Angie says
- 33:10Speaker 1: note to Terry. That was everyone. But guess you need
- 33:13Speaker 1: to also. I know I need to, but I don't
- 33:17Speaker 1: care if people know where the picture's taken, as long
- 33:20Speaker 1: as I don't post it when I'm there, if that
- 33:22Speaker 1: makes sense. Okay, So those are my tips, and I
- 33:26Speaker 1: did those again because I really wanted to stress about
- 33:30Speaker 1: the door lock, the flip latch at the top. If
- 33:34Speaker 1: you have kids, kids get curious. Okay, kids get curious.
- 33:38Speaker 1: The other thing, if you have a refrigerator in your garage,
- 33:43Speaker 1: make sure that they can't open an automatic garage door
- 33:46Speaker 1: because they can slip out through that too. Okay. Now,
- 33:50Speaker 1: I want to thank you all for joining me today.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I'll look forward to seeing you again on Wednesday for
- 33:56Speaker 1: our next episode of Midday Missing. Please remember we'll not
- 34:00Speaker 1: be starting until about twelve fifteen because of Life Court
- 34:05Speaker 1: streaming with Lama on the Couch also through Crime and
- 34:10Speaker 1: Wine Time every Thursday. This week we are uncovering a
- 34:15Speaker 1: Cops deadly agenda, The chilling, the chilling. Sorry, guys, I
- 34:20Speaker 1: have a tickle on my throat and it is just
- 34:22Speaker 1: not going away. The chilling crimes of Austin Lee Edwards
- 34:30Speaker 1: and for those of you that have been watching the
- 34:32Speaker 1: Zizian we are back this Sunday to wrap up our

- 35:14Speaker 1: then you can see the pictures of where I've been
- 35:17Speaker 1: after I'm back all of my craziness. I think I
- 35:21Speaker 1: posted pictures this morning. If not, I will of my
- 35:25Speaker 1: peep teenies that we had yesterday for Easter. So you
- 35:30Speaker 1: can follow me. Terry True Crime Everywhere or True Crime
- 35:34Speaker 1: and Wine Time and guys, as always, please stay safe,
- 35:41Speaker 1: stay aware, and help these families bring their loved ones home. Guys,
- 35:48Speaker 1: all it takes is a little tip. Okay, even with Monkey,
- 35:53Speaker 1: they're presuming you know something bad has happened to him,
- 35:58Speaker 1: they still want to have him home and bury him.
- 36:02Speaker 1: So don't think, just because they're presumed deceased that we
- 36:06Speaker 1: need to stop looking, because we don't. Guys, we can't
- 36:09Speaker 1: stop looking, So stay safe, guys. See you on Wednesday,
- 37:01Speaker 1: coming ha
