- 0:00You would have all heard of the victim card.
- 0:02These Canadians went one better and started handing out equity
- 0:06cards. There's a point of privilege on
- 0:08my OH. She had to look like that.
- 0:11I was standing here with my gender equity card before you
- 0:14called on the previous speaker. Oh OK, so she's scolding her
- 0:18because she called on the other line when she was standing there
- 0:20holding an equity card which is supposed to get her called
- 0:22before someone because she's a member of marginalised identity.
- 0:25I don't. Have anything to say?
- 0:28Hey guys, welcome to Normal Gaze, where we take on insanity.
- 0:31I'm Brad Polando here with Clarkson Lawson.
- 0:33What's up guys? So did you probably saw clips
- 0:36from this Canada, oh Canada, the New Democratic Party, AKNDP,
- 0:44which is like they're like left socialist.
- 0:47Party I got to get my mind out of the gutter.
- 0:48Well, I won't explain. DP.
- 0:51OK, what do you why? What does that mean?
- 0:53I'm not saying it on camera, no, because everybody already calls
- 0:56me for the comments. Oh, you are a whore.
- 1:00Anyway, they had this convention and it's like the DSA
- 1:04conventions. You know those ridiculous clips
- 1:06you see from here from the Democratic socialists?
- 1:08It's like that on steroids. They literally had identity
- 1:11cards for marginalized identities you could use to cut
- 1:14the line to speak on motions. These topics this week are
- 1:18really making me like, not like left people.
- 1:24And I, I know what he's doing because I told him I said I
- 1:28don't like positioning us as like right wing commentators.
- 1:32But you can't help it when you see these stories.
- 1:34No, well, I'm not doing that because of that.
- 1:36These are just the topics that I just.
- 1:37Had no, I know. Most of these for weeks.
- 1:39Because it's like you can't help but not talk about like this
- 1:44well. Because it's entertaining.
- 1:46It's crazy. It's also crazy.
- 1:48And you told me we have to stop talking about fat people all the
- 1:50time. So.
- 1:51Well, yeah, so this is better. Let's watch this clip from Sky
- 1:55News Australia where they went through some of the some
- 1:58compiled some of the best moments from this conference.
- 2:01Folks in Canada, or Snow Mexicans as some call them, and
- 2:05some of the worst Canadians in the country got together
- 2:09recently. It was a conference for the
- 2:12Canadian Democratic Party. Now you would have all heard of
- 2:16the victim card. These Canadians went, won better
- 2:19and started handing out equity cards.
- 2:22Literally. There's a point of privilege.
- 2:27On microphone, she had to. Look like that.
- 2:30I miss the Clinton Democrats. Well, this is like the leftist.
- 2:34Party, I know. Oh, that's the this is the
- 2:36leftist party. Yeah, it's not even their their
- 2:38like Liberal Party. OK, but.
- 2:40Still, it's like, unlike here where we're it's a fringe,
- 2:43they're an actual party that has seats and everything.
- 2:46Like there's no DS. Well, there's.
- 2:48A. This is a.
- 2:49This is a this. I don't want to be mean, but
- 2:52that's. Classical They couldn't like
- 2:55come up with any better. Person it's just sometimes
- 2:58depends. Sometimes you can look at
- 3:01somebody and know exactly what they believe and.
- 3:04What their pronouns? Are like.
- 3:05You can just tell by the way someone looks and I I reject the
- 3:10idea that the way you look is is what you believe.
- 3:13But I do recognize the pattern once.
- 3:16In a while you can't listen the same thing with the bull looking
- 3:21ass nose rings right? It's not 100% of the time that
- 3:24it's going to. Be but there is a pattern.
- 3:27But it's like 90% chance. And.
- 3:30Correct recognition is part of the human brain.
- 3:33Now, in our more enlightened, advanced nature, on this
- 3:37podcast, we try to give people the benefit of the.
- 3:40Doubt. Do we?
- 3:41Yeah, I don't. We don't.
- 3:43But we should. I do.
- 3:44No, we do. But we each have different
- 3:46people that we do it for. I give liberals the benefit of
- 3:49the doubt, I think more than you do, and I try to give and I give
- 3:52fat people the benefit of the doubt.
- 3:55Who else? And I give Christians the
- 3:57benefit of the doubt. I give trans people benefit of
- 4:00the doubt more than you. Yeah, you do Christians a lot
- 4:03more. I I really don't give religious
- 4:05people to benefit the doubt often.
- 4:06Ever. Yeah.
- 4:07And you guys, you guys don't like that.
- 4:09But but we. Got to be authentic to who we.
- 4:11Are, yeah. And.
- 4:12Anyways, let's just watch what she's they, they, I already.
- 4:17Failed. Go to microphone 3.
- 4:19Go ahead, delegate. Yes, hello.
- 4:21I I was standing here with my gender equity card before you
- 4:24called on the previous speaker. OK.
- 4:26So she's scolding her because she called on the other line
- 4:29when she was standing there holding an equity card, which is
- 4:31supposed to get her called before someone because she's a
- 4:33member of marginalized identity. I don't, I don't have anything
- 4:40to say. I have nothing to say.
- 4:43I I all I want to do? No, I have nothing to say.
- 4:46I I really don't because like this girl enrages me.
- 4:51This one or that one? All of them, they enrage me.
- 4:54Like if I was around them, I would turn beet red and just, I
- 4:59would fume and I don't even know what I would say, but I would
- 5:02say some very mean stuff. And my goal would be to make
- 5:05them cry because I, I, I just feel like the, I don't know, I
- 5:08just have nothing to say. I never agree with the people
- 5:11who are like, bring back bullying.
- 5:12Like I think bullying is wrong. No, you don't bully people on
- 5:15immutable characteristics. No, that's not.
- 5:17What I'm saying? No, no, no.
- 5:18I'm saying no, you don't bully. But these?
- 5:20People probably should have been bullied a little bit for their
- 5:23personalities. I think like.
- 5:26Just 5%. No, I, I, I don't think, I don't
- 5:28think it's bullying. I think they needed to be
- 5:30embarrassed and corrected by somebody who is actually smarter
- 5:33than that. Authority figures been said they
- 5:34probably got gentle parent debt. Correct.
- 5:36And that's that why they pissed me off so much.
- 5:40Well, also guys, because. They believe they're saving the
- 5:42world by pointing out their equity card was wrong.
- 5:45This girl probably thinks that this is like a huge immoral or
- 5:49or like this an injustice that needs to be corrected.
- 5:52And they're so tunnel visioned on themselves that they they
- 5:57miss everything else going on in the world.
- 6:00It's like when people on the far left only attack Democrats and
- 6:03then they're the reason why Kamala lost the election because
- 6:06all they care about is what they can criticize, what they have
- 6:08proximity to, and they have no ability to look at things from a
- 6:11macro perspective and it pisses me off.
- 6:14Anyway guys do consider becoming a channel member to support our
- 6:17work and we're going to watch clips from TLCS My Strange
- 6:20Addiction and some of them are disgusting and evil.
- 6:23So we do weekly members only videos.
- 6:25It's the best way to support our content.
- 6:27We're a small channel, but we're growing and doing we.
- 6:30Actually, are we? We're doing through a.
- 6:31Wall. Yeah, but now we're growing.
- 6:33I think we found our stride. We were kind of like boring for
- 6:35a bit, but now I think we're getting better.
- 6:38And we're building a new set. Which is expensive.
- 6:41Expensive. So do.
- 6:41Become a channel member if you can.
- 6:43But also I also it's like gas is super expensive like life is.
- 6:47If so, if you can't, please don't feel any pressure too or
- 6:49don't worry. Oh, is that Brad actually saying
- 6:52you don't have to subscribe? This bitch is in the comments.
- 6:54Somebody says I love your channel.
- 6:56He goes consider coming and becoming a member.
- 6:58I'm just. Saying I'm.
- 6:59Like I've heard it multiple times that no.
- 7:02But it works. Though no it doesn't.
- 7:04It's never worked. That's not true.
- 7:06I've observed at work many times they literally reply and say
- 7:09yes, oh of course I was thinking about it and I will.
- 7:12And then I see them with a little member.
- 7:14So you talk talk your. But then you'll catch that.
- 7:17So distasteful. OK, I sound like like them.
- 7:21Oh my God, like I'm reaping the benefits of, of the system I'm
- 7:24critiquing, but I just don't, I, I, I don't believe in turning
- 7:29compliments into like compliments are are.
- 7:32Literally have only fans. OK, I'll shut up.
- 7:37Point proven, I can. Literally scolding me for asking
- 7:40fans. Just join a membership.
- 7:42But that is a transaction like only fans is a transactional
- 7:46relationship a comment. Take out a gun and say.
- 7:50No, but you are like thank you for the rather than just
- 7:53accepting the comment saying thank you so much.
- 7:55I'm just. Saying consider.
- 7:56Give me money. Like imagine if somebody said
- 7:58you're so beautiful. Thank.
- 8:00Actually, I do that. I I'm gonna shut up, do only I'm
- 8:03gonna shut up. I'm gonna shut up because I can
- 8:05recognize when I am wrong in the middle of an argument, and in
- 8:07this case I'm wrong. Let's keep but.
- 8:10Don't do it. How have we?
- 8:11Got through 32 seconds of the video.
- 8:13I don't. Know we are the problem, I fear.
- 8:15That's my point of privilege that I would like to.
- 8:17I will explain the speaking order which is.
- 8:19When they bring up a complaint, they call it a point of
- 8:21privilege. Privilege.
- 8:23OK, which is? Fixed that.
- 8:25I cannot amend which is the pro con rotation.
- 8:28You can move yourself up a line that you're standing on.
- 8:30I am pro and I I was. We went.
- 8:35You went pro con we. Went pro con pro and my plan was
- 8:39to go con. The speaker at Con M3 also has a
- 8:43speaking card. Yesterday this.
- 8:45This is why in governance these people never get anything done
- 8:50and they, this is also why they don't have their own party.
- 8:52Oh wait, this is Canada. Yeah, well, it's why their party
- 8:55probably doesn't win anything because they can't get anything
- 8:57done. I think they.
- 8:58Might be in coalition with the majority government, I'm not
- 9:01sure. I shouldn't, that's what.
- 9:03They do these far left people, they they're like leeches.
- 9:06They. Hijack the center left.
- 9:08Yeah, they hijack the liberals, the people who believe in
- 9:10capitalism, who like, believe in democracy and all that stuff,
- 9:15because they cannot for the life of themselves organize
- 9:18accordingly without collapse. Without because.
- 9:21Think about how much time that bitch just wasted talking about
- 9:24her point of privilege. Oh my God.
- 9:26Just know she's about to I. I I'm let's watch it.
- 9:28Wait, I was just going. To, say, predict her complaint.
- 9:31Which of the boxes is it going to be about?
- 9:33Race, sexuality. Gender identity.
- 9:36I, I, you know what I was going to say, I think that she's going
- 9:39to say as a marginalized person of color who is
- 9:44immunocompromised, I don't like that somebody probably said
- 9:47something or it because it's killing people with slow immune
- 9:51system. Masks or something?
- 9:52Not not necessarily about mask, but some type of protocol that
- 9:56doesn't protect immunocompromised people.
- 9:59Let's see. This card was used in an
- 10:02inappropriate matter and while I understand in Ontario we know
- 10:06this is equity, even if that this was also used inappropriate
- 10:11in terms of gender. I want everyone to be mindful
- 10:14that these cards for individuals like myself who identify as a
- 10:18Black woman. She identifies as a black woman
- 10:24that. Is such an interesting phrase
- 10:26identifying as a black woman. Are you?
- 10:29Are they? I know that they.
- 10:30So I don't have to identify as gay.
- 10:31I mean I just sleep with men and have romantic relations with
- 10:34men, but I'm not gay mostly. The former, not the latter.
- 10:39Romantic. Yeah, exactly.
- 10:41Oh wait, I thought you said the latter.
- 10:42My bad. Anyways.
- 10:45Anyway, I just think it's funny. So I think she was like mad that
- 10:48white people were using it. No, she was mad that it gendered
- 10:52her incorrectly I think. See how we can't even keep up?
- 10:56This is what I'm saying. They they're doing they're no.
- 11:00Progress. It's like a Portlandia esque.
- 11:02Yeah, yeah. I mean, what do you like?
- 11:07It's kind of funny though. You know what?
- 11:08I think that America should have a coalition like Canada does,
- 11:13like this I. Mean there's pros and cons of a
- 11:14parliamentary government versus a.
- 11:17Well, no, I'm saying they should have.
- 11:19Well, we don't necessarily have a two party system.
- 11:21It's just very hard to create another party.
- 11:25We we do have a two party system rather than a parliamentary
- 11:29system is what I'm saying. I got I get what you're saying.
- 11:31I was just saying that I I think we would benefit from these
- 11:35types of people leaving the Democratic Party and creating
- 11:38them. Oh, I agree.
- 11:38But they would get absolutely nothing done.
- 11:40And they get a lot more done by yelling at Democratic members of
- 11:43Congress. Well, but like.
- 11:44Like Zoran Mamdani, this is his ideological ilk.
- 11:48He literally comes from the DSA, which is a control C of of what
- 11:51we just watched. Yes.
- 11:52So it's like you, you say that like they should have their own
- 11:55party. They're taking over the Democrat
- 11:57I know. Well, that's in New York.
- 11:59And he's like a rising star. And AOC is as well.
- 12:02And she came out of that exact same thing.
- 12:05Don't depress me. All right, we'll just keep going
- 12:07watching the funny. Time when you didn't have to
- 12:10point that out, it was pretty obvious.
- 12:12But we are talking about painfully woke broken Canada,
- 12:16where this is how adults conduct themselves now.
- 12:20Point of personal privilege I understand there's very little
- 12:23time and for for delegates to speak but early on the mic I
- 12:28it's hard as a racialized and transgender delegate to
- 12:31sometimes use this card and and speak up speak to somebody in
- 12:35front of me in line and ask hey this pertains to multiple
- 12:38intersecting parts of my lived experience I'd like to speak I
- 12:41was rejected when I talked and it it's frustrating when these
- 12:46are my rights being directly under attack right now in
- 12:49Alberta and that. What is Alberta doing I've.
- 12:52Spoken, I don't know for me, and I understand her rights are
- 12:57important too. This pertains to her too, but I,
- 13:00I don't know. I, I, I hope that in the future
- 13:02the, the, the federal NDP will also have a broader
- 13:05interpretation of the, the equity cards for speakers.
- 13:08That's all. Thank you.
- 13:09I will. Who is clapping for that stupid?
- 13:11Now who's? Clapping.
- 13:13You know what they are the most narcissistic, Selfish.
- 13:18What other synonyms are there? You sat in line and you, they
- 13:24use their identity as an excuse for everything.
- 13:26You feel social anxiety as a marginalized person that
- 13:29intersects with my lived experience?
- 13:30Yeah, no, having social anxiety intersect with your lived
- 13:33experience. That doesn't excuse you being a
- 13:35weird ass who can't speak up when it's your time to speak.
- 13:39However, what I'll say is I think what she was mad about is
- 13:43that she tried to cut the line using her woke card and she said
- 13:47no. I think that's what she was just
- 13:48to say. They are selfish.
- 13:51They're selfish to have convinced a bunch of other
- 13:53people that because you're Asian and trans like but first of all
- 13:57Asian. Racialized.
- 13:59Rape. You're Asian?
- 14:01Do you know how successful Asians are?
- 14:03Asian is literally, if any, privileged.
- 14:05Back of the line, back of the line, back of the box.
- 14:10I'm sorry, but like Asia, maybe in America.
- 14:13With no contact. I mean, I would love to be Asian
- 14:17America because I would probably be a lot richer you.
- 14:19Have a harder time getting grinder hookups?
- 14:21Yeah, like small. No, because people always put my
- 14:25God, probably. That is not true about Asians on
- 14:30a mass scale. I don't know that's a stereotype
- 14:33you would know stereotypes are based in.
- 14:34You just admitted you would know based on a mass scale.
- 14:38No, I'm I I would know the measurements based on the
- 14:40surveys cause I've looked it up. Personal, Personal I.
- 14:43Actually looked this up the other day because it was on my
- 14:45thing about like male size per country and it is true that they
- 14:50are on average a little bit smaller.
- 14:54Why are you doing an accent? Because.
- 14:55It it, it softens the blow of the inappropriate discussion.
- 14:59But I wouldn't say it's like a huge deal comparatively to where
- 15:04we are, if that makes sense. Maybe it it is a huge deal in
- 15:07Nigeria, but like here it's like not not that much of a
- 15:10difference on average. OK, 8.
- 15:13Delegates to assist me in better using the card by forming a
- 15:18straight straight line behind the microphone.
- 15:22She. She has a problem.
- 15:24She has a problem of saying straight she's.
- 15:26Like aching herself out by saying the word straight.
- 15:29Or is it because disabled people are unable to stay in a straight
- 15:32line? No, I think it's just.
- 15:33Straight. It's like heterosexuality is
- 15:35what is what she's icked out by. Or she just realizes it's
- 15:40offensive to ask these people to stand in a straight line because
- 15:44they're mentally incapable of following any form of
- 15:47instruction. No, I.
- 15:48Think the thing where she goes. Straight, yeah.
- 15:51Saying the word straight is like icky and gross.
- 15:55Which I mean, like it is, but you're not supposed to.
- 15:57I'm kidding. I was like, wait, what?
- 16:00It took me a second to process that, you're supposed.
- 16:01To pretend to not be disgusted by the majority of the
- 16:06population. Also, like, why are you
- 16:07disgusted by being by straight people when the only reason that
- 16:12humanity is able to continue is because of straight people?
- 16:15Yeah, I mean not. I mean it's fine that well, I'm
- 16:18also like she I guess she's a non binary whatever so but who
- 16:22knows, maybe she's if. You are so miserable.
- 16:24I'm sorry if you are so miserable that you reject all
- 16:27societal norms and you think that you are like unique because
- 16:31of it. Bitch, you're not unique like
- 16:33you understand you're just a miserable person who refuses to
- 16:37compete in a competitive society.
- 16:39So you reject every form of societal norms because if you
- 16:42accepted any of them, you would have to accept that You are the
- 16:45bottom of the barrel, bitch. Wow, you went off OK.
- 16:49I'm getting really triggered today.
- 16:50Let's just roll the rest of this.
- 16:52The microphone with a prominently displayed equity
- 16:55card. If I see speakers ahead of you
- 16:57who are not holding a card prominently, it would be wrong
- 17:00with me to guess about their gender identity and I will come
- 17:03to you. I don't.
- 17:04Know what she's saying like I. Goodness me, she said the word
- 17:08straight line there without a trigger warning point of
- 17:10personal privilege. How dare I cisgender woman
- 17:14speak. I mean, the whole thing is nuts.
- 17:17Everything you see there is a sign of civilizational decline.
- 17:23She's so funny. She yeah, she might be slightly
- 17:26overstating it, but that is Loki, actually.
- 17:29It's in knowing I would say the. Romans walked so we could run
- 17:33and do this. Well, I would construct, yeah.
- 17:36Imagine the original democracy, the first philosophers to unfold
- 17:40the idea that the people could govern themselves.
- 17:42You show them. Stoics who preached about
- 17:46individual responsibility are seeing these people who have
- 17:49just a small amount of anxiety yell at everybody else for
- 17:52causing their anxiety. It's wild.
- 17:54I. I would say it's a sign of
- 17:56individual decline, maybe not societal decline yet, but like
- 17:59if somebody is acting that way, like their life is in decline.
- 18:02But also, like, these are the most extreme examples.
- 18:05But this ideology has crept into mainstream societal
- 18:09institutions. And I think that is a rot that
- 18:13is causing decline Doesn't mean it's totally declined and
- 18:16everything is over and we're not.
- 18:17There yet? But you have to root out the the
- 18:20ride. And instead people are like
- 18:23patting it on the head and saying you get a equity card.
- 18:26Oh my gosh, I would what I would say is everyone who wants an
- 18:29equity card, come to this room to come get it.
- 18:32And then I'm actually just an exit.
- 18:35I think I just want to be able. I keep, I say this every
- 18:37episode. I want to like, I want to fight
- 18:39with these people like I want to well.
- 18:41Also they're non binary so it's not hitting a girl.
- 18:43No, not physically. I just want to like, because
- 18:48whenever I have these types of conversation, like whenever I I
- 18:51meet like a woke adjacent person and I actually start to debate
- 18:54them, I feel like it's just so satisfying to see their entire
- 18:58worldview crumble when you start to poke and prod at their ideas.
- 19:02Yeah. We've been trying to get woke.
- 19:03People they nobody wants to touch us with a 10 foot pole.
- 19:07Well, people. Well, some people maybe, but not
- 19:09the ones that we want, yeah. Blossom's still been roasting
- 19:13me. She told me to stack my coins
- 19:15again. She's.
- 19:16The one that were coins, not mine.
