- 0:39Speaker 2: Hello there, welcome. My name's Ben and I'm Nicole and
- 0:44Speaker 2: this is Wicked and grim at true crime podcast that's
- 0:47Speaker 2: been going on for how long? One MOFO year.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I was gonna swear, but I was like, I'll save
- 0:54Speaker 1: that till later.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Our podcast is as of today, as of this Tuesday,
- 1:00Speaker 2: February eighth.
- 1:01Speaker 1: One year old, one year old.
- 1:03Speaker 2: One year old, one year old. And how many episodes
- 1:05Speaker 2: have we come out with? We should have looked at
- 1:07Speaker 2: up we started that. I think we're at like sixty two.
- 1:11Speaker 1: But that's not like including when we did Halloween Week, right,
- 1:14Speaker 1: because we didn't really necessarily include that as a one
- 1:17Speaker 1: or two or three and stuff.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I know, I think that includes some yow does it? Okay?
- 1:20Speaker 1: Okay, I wasn't too sure.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm pretty sure that we included those into that.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Let me see. I'm just looking right now seeing if
- 1:26Speaker 2: I can find it. Yeah. So this is the sixty
- 1:28Speaker 2: third episode. My gosh, we came up with sixty three
- 1:31Speaker 2: episodes in one year. Bibe. Cheers, Cheers you guys, cheers
- 1:36Speaker 2: to you. Thank you very much for your supportive of
- 1:38Speaker 2: this last year. It's been absolutely incredible.
- 1:41Speaker 1: My gosh, it's just blown us out of the Wow.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Yeah. So we're going to go over a little bit
- 1:45Speaker 2: of a long intro today because we want to do
- 1:47Speaker 2: some recapping on just looking back in the podcast a bit.
- 1:50Speaker 1: So, but we still do have a podcast for you
- 1:53Speaker 1: to listen to. I've researched the case not so you're
- 1:55Speaker 1: just like, oh my gosh, it's a recap episode done.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:58Speaker 1: There, we're doing a case.
- 2:00Speaker 2: And this is a legit case.
- 2:01Speaker 1: It is.
- 2:02Speaker 2: We're just taking a little bit extra time in the
- 2:04Speaker 2: intro today for a little bit of talking and bullshit.
- 2:06Speaker 2: So we're gonna shoot the shit a little bit here
- 2:07Speaker 2: more than normal. That's all we're saying. That's all we're saying.
- 2:10Speaker 2: All we're saying. But before we do that, before we
- 2:12Speaker 2: do that, can we think are amazing patrons? Yes, let's
- 2:15Speaker 2: do it.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna say something else and I
- 2:17Speaker 1: was like, yeah, let's do it. I'm into it.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Well. First of all, thank you to all the Patreon
- 2:21Speaker 2: individuals out there who have supported us over this last year,
- 2:25Speaker 2: whether it was you've been with us from the start
- 2:27Speaker 2: you're just joining in, whether you even got rid of
- 2:30Speaker 2: your subscription. We appreciate the shit out of you. Joining
- 2:34Speaker 2: in and supporting us even a little bit. Even if
- 2:37Speaker 2: you haven't, we still love you.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I was going to say that too, anyone that's
- 2:40Speaker 1: listening like you're pretty much awesome.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Uh huh. And in this last week we had a
- 2:44Speaker 2: few new Patreon subscribers join on board, so here we go.
- 2:48Speaker 2: We got Linda W who joined on We got Tammy
- 2:51Speaker 2: Johnson Christine Beam, which I fucking love that name because
- 2:55Speaker 2: it's like Christine Beam. I love it. It's got like
- 2:59Speaker 2: such a flow to it. Does a Christina with a
- 3:02Speaker 2: name like that, that's like a superhero name it is.
- 3:04Speaker 2: That's a badass name. Maybe they're a superhero Christine. We're
- 3:07Speaker 2: on to you. We got Sarah Granby, We got this
- 3:12Speaker 2: one I love to Susie Q. Oh my gosh, right
- 3:17Speaker 2: Susan Okay.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I was just like, that's a song, isn't.
- 3:19Speaker 2: It, Susie, cut.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It go out there, Sue cue.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I love that song. I'm a terrible singer. If you
- 3:31Speaker 2: can't tell.
- 3:32Speaker 1: This is not the first time you've sang.
- 3:33Speaker 2: On you No, And for the record, I haven't tried
- 3:35Speaker 2: to sing yet. That's just me playing around. If I
- 3:38Speaker 2: actually try and sing, it's way worse. Worse. You can
- 3:42Speaker 2: attest to that.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Okay, honestly, actually, you're not that bad of a singer.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I really don't think you're that.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I'm mediocre at best, That's.
- 3:48Speaker 1: What I would say, better than I am.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Well, that's not saying much. Wow. Now, Okay, we also
- 3:54Speaker 2: got a few more people here. We got Anna Pool
- 3:57Speaker 2: or Poole. It's got a little apostrophy on the at
- 3:59Speaker 2: the end there, so it's really hard to discern. Okay,
- 4:01Speaker 2: but Anna, you badass. We got Glenna Gunston and Amber
- 4:06Speaker 2: Lapaula and finally Joyce Rogers. You guys all joined us
- 4:10Speaker 2: this last week Patreon, so thank you amazing, Right, guys
- 4:15Speaker 2: are incredible. Thank you for having on board and supporting us.
- 4:18Speaker 2: You're amazing. Without people like you, we couldn't be doing this.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Without anyone tuning in, we.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Wouldn't be doing this, and I did actually probably would
- 4:27Speaker 1: because you're probably Nicole, you have to give it a
- 4:29Speaker 1: few years before we see success. And then I was like, like,
- 4:32Speaker 1: how long been? Because I'm like I like to see success.
- 4:36Speaker 2: After like episode one, You're like, why are we not
- 4:39Speaker 2: famous yet?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that is not how I am pretty much. No,
- 4:43Speaker 1: there's no way I'm not that bad.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Basically because episode one was Theoutla Pass. We came up
- 4:48Speaker 2: with Theoutla Pass and you're just like, well, there's we
- 4:51Speaker 2: got like three people listen to the episode with the
- 4:54Speaker 2: hell and you were just like crushed.
- 4:56Speaker 1: No, I wasn't. I think you're exaggerating that. I did
- 4:59Speaker 1: not spate that we'd be this far at one year though,
- 5:02Speaker 1: No me either, which really cool.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I don't know the exact number because hopping over to
- 5:06Speaker 2: a new platform, our numbers reset. I'd have to do
- 5:09Speaker 2: some math and add it up between the two. But
- 5:11Speaker 2: we did reach over three hundred thousand listens in this
- 5:14Speaker 2: one year. I believe we're at three hundred and ten
- 5:18Speaker 2: or twelve ish in one year.
- 5:21Speaker 1: That is incredible.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It's amazingly. Our mind is blown, you guys, it totally is.
- 5:26Speaker 2: But while we're on the topic of the Outlived Pass,
- 5:28Speaker 2: I just want to say that I think one day
- 5:30Speaker 2: I might want to revisit that case.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you talk about that often.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Actually not because I want to add any new information.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I think we covered it pretty good with the information.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I want to recover it or revisit it, sorry, and
- 5:43Speaker 2: go over it again because it was our first ever episode,
- 5:46Speaker 2: and I just want to kind of go over it
- 5:48Speaker 2: again and compare. You know, Yeah, but it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Hasn't Some new information even come out too since that episode,
- 5:53Speaker 1: Like I thought, we put it out and then like
- 5:54Speaker 1: something new came out, right, we.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Put it out at the same time as a new
- 5:58Speaker 2: information coming out. I believe I covered it in the act.
- 6:03Speaker 2: It's because there was a theory on an avalanche actually
- 6:06Speaker 2: causing it. But I call one hundredercent bullshit on that
- 6:09Speaker 2: because ain't in away an avalanche causing that when their
- 6:12Speaker 2: tent wasn't buried in snow and their footprints are still
- 6:15Speaker 2: seen in the snow. Doesn't make sense.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you talk about that. You don't honestly talk about
- 6:20Speaker 1: this case a lot in the house.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Hell yeah, So I want to revisit that one day.
- 6:23Speaker 1: That'd be fun though, being that it was our first episode,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that'd be super fun.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. Anything you want to revisit what would
- 6:29Speaker 2: you do if you could the Donnelly's the Donnali's Because.
- 6:35Speaker 1: That was African spiral train wreck of an episode.
- 6:40Speaker 2: For me, that was the best episode we've ever had.
- 6:43Speaker 1: No, I just like screwed up so much, and I
- 6:45Speaker 1: think it was only my second episode, and I was
- 6:47Speaker 1: super nervous. I mean I still get nervous, really, but
- 6:50Speaker 1: I pronounced so much shit wrong and like had some
- 6:53Speaker 1: stumbles that were like a little bit inappropriate.
- 6:55Speaker 2: But it was funny. Instead of the word organism, you
- 6:59Speaker 2: said orgasm, and it was obligarious potato the potato famine,
- 7:03Speaker 2: which you said potato famine, no fathom fathom, Sorry, I.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Don't know it was. It was just like it just it.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Just went down. It was hilarious. I love that episode.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Well actually, I think that might have made them.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Fall in love with us a little well and fun fact,
- 7:16Speaker 2: as soon as we were done that episode, you wanted
- 7:18Speaker 2: to re record right then and there.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I like begged you and you're like no,
- 7:22Speaker 1: I was.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Like, no way, that's going live, Like we can't record,
- 7:26Speaker 2: re record that, it has to go up.
- 7:28Speaker 1: But we actually get like a lot of people being like,
- 7:30Speaker 1: oh my gosh, you have to do better with your pronunciation.
- 7:33Speaker 2: So that's I'm like, ah, yeah, I mean I think
- 7:37Speaker 2: a bit of that is is we own up to
- 7:39Speaker 2: our mistakes. A lot of other podcasts they just take it,
- 7:41Speaker 2: tell them, make it fake it till they make it
- 7:43Speaker 2: not necessarily fake. It, they'll just stick with the pronunciation
- 7:46Speaker 2: and roll with it. If we're not sure. I mean
- 7:48Speaker 2: we're like, hey, we're not sure.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I know, we we we let people know. But maybe
- 7:54Speaker 1: going bar it, I'll just like protecting.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it might not, it may be to our own fault,
- 7:57Speaker 2: but we're just a little honest in that way. Maybe
- 7:59Speaker 2: it's the canade in US.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I actually do try hard though, Like, okay, right now
- 8:05Speaker 1: for this case, for example, I literally have about like
- 8:07Speaker 1: five six tabs open right now of like pronounced dots,
- 8:11Speaker 1: calm or whatever, because I look to see how to
- 8:13Speaker 1: pronounce it. But then I'm going to go say it
- 8:15Speaker 1: later and I want not to pronounce it.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and you just forget. Yeah, So it's it's kind
- 8:19Speaker 2: of it's yeah, it's hit and miss. So we do try,
- 8:22Speaker 2: we do try and get us wrong there.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But then yeah, other ones that I've just like loved
- 8:27Speaker 1: too for some I'm just gonna throw the ones I loved.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Let's but I loved the Toy Box Killer Yes, the
- 8:33Speaker 1: Lulu Lemon Case Yes, and the Mad Trapper of Rap River.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I feel like those are like three of my favors.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Mad Trapper was a badass.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that guy's a badass.
- 8:42Speaker 2: And I have to say I was. I'm super proud
- 8:44Speaker 2: of myself of the Lululemon one. That's probably my favorite
- 8:46Speaker 2: episode that I did.
- 8:47Speaker 1: It's so good. I told a good story in that one,
- 8:50Speaker 1: a really good story.
- 8:50Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm proud of that one particularly. Okay, we
- 8:55Speaker 2: got to talk about more stuff because we got a
- 8:56Speaker 2: lot to load unload on you guys here.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Well, yeah, we basically have some cool shit we're planning
- 9:00Speaker 1: for the one year anniversary, so we gotta do we
- 9:02Speaker 1: gotta chat about that.
- 9:03Speaker 2: So what do we got coming down the pipe in
- 9:05Speaker 2: the one year anniversary?
- 9:06Speaker 1: Okay, so we're doing a giveaway. We're actually doing two giveaways.
- 9:10Speaker 1: If you're a patron, you're just automatically entered in two
- 9:15Speaker 1: to one and what it is it's going to be
- 9:16Speaker 1: like approximately fifty dollars credit for our merch. Yeah, and
- 9:21Speaker 1: then we're also doing another one on Insta, so anyone
- 9:23Speaker 1: that's following, and basically you'll just have to comment what
- 9:26Speaker 1: your favorite episode has been, because like I'm curious, I
- 9:29Speaker 1: want to know, you probably want to know.
- 9:31Speaker 2: We want to know. We just talked about ours. Yes,
- 9:33Speaker 2: let's hear yours.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So I'm gonna be posting those tomorrow and then we're
- 9:38Speaker 1: doing a Q and A.
- 9:39Speaker 2: We are doing a Q and A. But before we
- 9:40Speaker 2: talk about the Q and A, can I mention one
- 9:42Speaker 2: thing about the march? Of course? Oh gosh, yeah, yeah,
- 9:45Speaker 2: you kind of right, there's too much. We've got two
- 9:48Speaker 2: new designs out for our one year anniversary. They're out
- 9:52Speaker 2: there right now. I actually I uploaded them I think yesterday,
- 9:56Speaker 2: and no one's noticed yet. Well, people have already just
- 10:00Speaker 2: all our merch right and it's like, well, they're waiting
- 10:01Speaker 2: for new designs. We just haven't announced new designs. They're
- 10:04Speaker 2: out right now.
- 10:05Speaker 1: And one years or one is specific to our one
- 10:07Speaker 1: year anniversary, which is.
- 10:08Speaker 2: It is cool again. The art done by me yours truly.
- 10:13Speaker 2: So if you go over there, you're not only supporting
- 10:15Speaker 2: the podcast, you're also supporting my art side, so thank
- 10:18Speaker 2: you very much. But yeah, it's got two skeleton hands
- 10:21Speaker 2: of us cheered. It's it's my hand in Nicole's hand,
- 10:24Speaker 2: cheersing in front of our little wickeding grim.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Tree with wine. I'm holding wine and you're holding scotch right, yep.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It's super cool and.
- 10:32Speaker 2: That's that's what I'm drinking right now Scotch and you're
- 10:33Speaker 2: drinking wine right now.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I'm actually double fisting right now.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I'm not going to do you are, but there's wine there.
- 10:40Speaker 2: So yeah. We'll also post up what those new designs
- 10:43Speaker 2: are on Instagram and you can go check it out
- 10:45Speaker 2: for yourself and you can purchase some new designs for
- 10:48Speaker 2: new attire, clothes, whatever you want to get. It's over
- 10:50Speaker 2: in red bubble and link is down in the description
- 10:53Speaker 2: of this podcast, and of course over in our socials
- 10:55Speaker 2: you can find it there too, absolutely, but enough dropping that,
- 10:58Speaker 2: go ahead and talk with Q and A.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Okay, so yeah, we're doing our I think it's our
- 11:02Speaker 1: first well first like Q and A. Really it's our
- 11:04Speaker 1: first and A and we're doing our first live like,
- 11:07Speaker 1: holy shit, way to make me want to pee my pants.
- 11:10Speaker 1: So yeah, we're doing a live on Instagram at six
- 11:14Speaker 1: o'clock PSTX standard time.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Right, and that is today?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, so that will be Tuesday, so uh
- 11:23Speaker 1: February eighth.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, Tuesday, February eighth, twenty twenty two, at six pm
- 11:28Speaker 2: Pacific Standard time on Instagram.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah, and so we'll be at We've had some questions
- 11:33Speaker 1: submitted already on Patreon and then I just put a
- 11:35Speaker 1: question box up right now, and then you can obviously
- 11:39Speaker 1: submit your questions live as well. So we'll be answering
- 11:41Speaker 1: some things, and then after that, once down, we're going
- 11:44Speaker 1: to be hopping over to Patreon to do a little
- 11:47Speaker 1: more intimate live I suppose you could call it.
- 11:50Speaker 2: There will probably be more consumption of alcohol, most likely
- 11:53Speaker 2: at least by me.
- 11:54Speaker 1: It's a Tuesday, dude, so.
- 11:58Speaker 2: It's all good. Oh my gosh. So yeah, that's that,
- 12:02Speaker 2: and then what else? What else? What else we got? Oh? Oh,
- 12:06Speaker 2: finally we got something cool coming. Oh yeah. We were
- 12:09Speaker 2: reached out to by our local news and they're like,
- 12:14Speaker 2: we didn't realize there was a cool podcast local. Do
- 12:16Speaker 2: you guys want to come in and do a news spot?
- 12:18Speaker 2: And we're like, okay, it's like the news talk show.
- 12:22Speaker 1: It's like a daily talk show. It's called Today.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're going to be on that talk show.
- 12:27Speaker 1: M hm.
- 12:27Speaker 2: So that's gonna be on the tenth. We're going to
- 12:29Speaker 2: figure out a way to get it recorded and put
- 12:31Speaker 2: it up for you guys on Thursday.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Yeah. Well we can drop the link because people might
- 12:35Speaker 1: want to Oh that's true, I want to see that, so,
- 12:37Speaker 1: oh my gosh, if we do good, we'll drop the link.
- 12:40Speaker 2: If we do good, we'll do it. Anyways, we will
- 12:43Speaker 2: drop the link, whether we vomit or vomit. I mean
- 12:47Speaker 2: that could be taken good or bad. So there we are. Yeah,
- 12:50Speaker 2: it's gonna be fun, though it is. I'm stoked this
- 12:53Speaker 2: whole this whole one year, this whole podcast thing is
- 12:56Speaker 2: just it's it's brought a lot to our lives and
- 12:59Speaker 2: we really appreciate everything. So thank you guys.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Honestly, Yeah, seriously, I don't know. There's been many times
- 13:05Speaker 1: where I've been like, oh, is this worth it? Whatever,
- 13:06Speaker 1: But it's freaking worth it, and everyone listening makes it
- 13:09Speaker 1: worth it, and just well.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Time we're questioning if it's worth it is when we're researching.
- 13:14Speaker 2: As soon as we're done researching, we're just like, yes,
- 13:17Speaker 2: this is awesome and amazing and we love it until
- 13:20Speaker 2: we're researching, okay, or.
- 13:21Speaker 1: When we get a bad review doesn't yeah that as well,
- 13:24Speaker 1: because I've had like a couple doozies, and I think.
- 13:27Speaker 2: People need to realize, like, we're not some big studio.
- 13:31Speaker 2: We see the bad reviews, yeah we read them, you guys.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Some of those people out there are dicks.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Yeah, they're like, it's so mean, almost just against your character, really,
- 13:43Speaker 1: like yeah, wow.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I honestly think what it is is people get upset
- 13:49Speaker 2: on the type of podcast we are, and that's understandable.
- 13:51Speaker 2: There's not everything is for everyone, but they get upset
- 13:55Speaker 2: on that, and then they start looking for something to
- 13:57Speaker 2: get mad at us fort on top of it. And
- 14:00Speaker 2: I think there's been some people who get upset with
- 14:02Speaker 2: us because we combine tragic cases with entertainment and comedy,
- 14:07Speaker 2: and I just want to let people know that these
- 14:09Speaker 2: are tragic cases. We understand that we sympathize with the victims.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Part of the reason why we do the comedy with
- 14:14Speaker 2: it is because it makes it a lot easier to
- 14:17Speaker 2: digest these tragic stories these people go through. So now
- 14:22Speaker 2: you're bringing in comedy, you're able to laugh, and you're
- 14:25Speaker 2: able to remember these people in a little bit more
- 14:27Speaker 2: of a lighthearted situation. And not only that, it really
- 14:30Speaker 2: brings down that fear mongering that those perpetrators had totally,
- 14:35Speaker 2: So it makes these scary people a lot less scary,
- 14:39Speaker 2: and it brings more happy memories to the victims, so
- 14:42Speaker 2: we can remember them in a little happier light. All
- 14:44Speaker 2: the while making the horrific things that go through a
- 14:48Speaker 2: little easier to digest. So that's our intent, that's why
- 14:51Speaker 2: we laugh, that's why we introduce comedy and being who
- 14:55Speaker 2: we are.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah, we're definitely being ourselves.
- 14:57Speaker 2: So a little bit like right to the heart. I
- 15:04Speaker 2: needed to get that off.
- 15:04Speaker 1: My my heart grew two sizes.
- 15:08Speaker 2: You're a mean one or three sizes? Heart grew three sizes.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I think three sizes.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, okay, But anyway.
- 15:16Speaker 2: That's that's a long that's like fifteen minute intro. Holy shit,
- 15:19Speaker 2: let's get going. I'm pumped.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Okay, I shouldn't say pumped. But this case is it's
- 15:23Speaker 1: a wild it's.
- 15:24Speaker 2: A wild one. It sounds like a wild, wild wild West.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I don't know a lot about this one, but you
- 15:28Speaker 2: showed me photos and I know that there is certain
- 15:31Speaker 2: things involved. And I'm ready.
- 15:33Speaker 1: We're chatting about e Cigawa today.
- 15:36Speaker 2: That's I feel like.
- 15:37Speaker 1: This is not actually a super well known case. No,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I don't think it is.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Did anyone get it on the guests on Instagram?
- 15:44Speaker 1: There was actually quite a few wrong guesses, which I
- 15:46Speaker 1: don't feel like we generally have lots of times people
- 15:48Speaker 1: like Boom get it right.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Away. People usually nail it.
- 15:50Speaker 1: You guys are good, but there was one person that
- 15:53Speaker 1: guessed it.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Yeahh. So we didn't bamboozle everybody.
- 15:56Speaker 1: No.
- 15:56Speaker 2: I thought I might have had them this time, but no,
- 15:59Speaker 2: one day.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Okay. So Is was born on April twenty sixth, nineteen
- 16:03Speaker 1: forty nine. He was the first of two kids to
- 16:06Speaker 1: be born in the family. His father was a wealthy
- 16:10Speaker 1: businessman who had served as a president of the Karate
- 16:15Speaker 1: Water Industries.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Okay, okay, so he.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Had a wealth. He was basically brought up in a
- 16:23Speaker 1: wealthy family.
- 16:24Speaker 2: By the sounds of it. Yeah. Es was born months.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Early, reportedly being small enough that he could fit in
- 16:31Speaker 1: the palm of his father's hat. Holy shit, so very premature.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Wow, that's tiny.
- 16:38Speaker 1: The doctors actually didn't actually think that he would survive.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Wow.
- 16:42Speaker 1: And because of this, it was not an easy battle
- 16:45Speaker 1: for him, and he suffered from a number of serious
- 16:48Speaker 1: health issues, including immediately developing intertight enteritis I think, which
- 16:55Speaker 1: is a disease that impacts the intestines. Dang, guy, I know,
- 17:00Speaker 1: like that's actually kind of devastating to just picture that
- 17:02Speaker 1: in your head. He would recover from this, but going forward,
- 17:06Speaker 1: you says health was fragile, and I believe it can
- 17:09Speaker 1: be as like premature. I think babies lots of times
- 17:12Speaker 1: have like health issues a little bit down.
- 17:15Speaker 2: It's actually a fairly normal thing to expect.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and along with that, he was also had a
- 17:20Speaker 1: very introverted personality. He was close to his younger brother
- 17:25Speaker 1: and had memories playing a game with his father and
- 17:28Speaker 1: uncle where the two adults would chase the boys around,
- 17:31Speaker 1: pretending to be giants and wanting to eat them.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Wow.
- 17:36Speaker 1: This he believes contributed to his obsession with cannibalism.
- 17:41Speaker 2: That's kind of fucked up.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Did you know I was going there with that?
- 17:45Speaker 2: Yeah? I did know.
- 17:46Speaker 1: That one is that that's just a lighthearted game.
- 17:48Speaker 2: It is. I mean like I've played some weird games
- 17:51Speaker 2: as it can't too, Like how many people played like
- 17:54Speaker 2: Cops and Robbers and that sort of stuff. Or there's
- 17:56Speaker 2: one I remember I played Blind's Men Bluff where we
- 17:59Speaker 2: would tie blindfold over our eyes and basically played tag totally. Heck, yeah,
- 18:04Speaker 2: it was like, I'm surprised no one broke their neck.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Well, even the playgrounds we had as kids, they would
- 18:10Speaker 1: never pass now.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yeah, but there's some things out there that I just
- 18:14Speaker 2: I mean mind you, everyone's different. But I can't think
- 18:18Speaker 2: of anything any way that these actually made an impact
- 18:21Speaker 2: on me or things about my life.
- 18:22Speaker 1: You know, I almost feel like that's just using that
- 18:25Speaker 1: as excuse almost in a sense, like wouldn't that really
- 18:29Speaker 1: trigger something? I don't know, potentially.
- 18:31Speaker 2: There's a chance. I mean, never say never, right, Yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 1: So, unlike many cases that we cover, this is actually
- 18:38Speaker 1: different in that Esa had a great childhood.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Well that's good at least.
- 18:42Speaker 1: He described it as being the best time of his
- 18:44Speaker 1: life with parents who really loved him deeply. So I
- 18:48Speaker 1: just wanted to point that out there because that is
- 18:50Speaker 1: on normal introduction generally, it's like they went through some shit. Yeah,
- 18:54Speaker 1: real shit, and like it's almost just repeating ourselves. So so,
- 18:58Speaker 1: his first desire cannibalism was when he was in first grade. Whoa,
- 19:05Speaker 1: so that being like six or seven years old?
- 19:08Speaker 2: Hold on, can you say this again? Desire or action?
- 19:11Speaker 1: Desire?
- 19:11Speaker 2: Desire? Okay, desire, that's key there, Yeah, not action Okay,
- 19:16Speaker 2: six years old though, still wow.
- 19:17Speaker 1: And this came after catching a glimpse of one of
- 19:21Speaker 1: his classmates thighs. He wanted to taste her flesh.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Well, you know what, thinking that he's that young when
- 19:29Speaker 2: he has the desire for that, that very well could
- 19:32Speaker 2: attribute to the giant eating game thing. I guess.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I mean, if they played it often and then he
- 19:41Speaker 1: looked at people differently. Yeah, potentially, I guess he wanted
- 19:45Speaker 1: to be the giant.
- 19:45Speaker 2: You know, Oh, I want to I want to be
- 19:47Speaker 2: the giant. I want to chase you and I'm going
- 19:48Speaker 2: to eat you sort of thing, and then just set
- 19:50Speaker 2: that thought in his head.
- 19:52Speaker 1: It's interesting you say that, though, because he's very small,
- 19:55Speaker 1: which we'll cover.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Well as a PREMI mean general that if you're premature,
- 20:01Speaker 2: then generally you're a little bit smaller. Yeah. Yeah, not always,
- 20:05Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 20:06Speaker 1: But so there isn't much to report on his younger years,
- 20:09Speaker 1: but in an interview, as he did with Vice later
- 20:13Speaker 1: in his life, he reported that as a youth, he
- 20:15Speaker 1: continued to experience cannibalistic desires with women. Sex wasn't something
- 20:22Speaker 1: the family ever talked about, and I guess if there
- 20:24Speaker 1: wasn't any sort of I don't know, sex education back
- 20:27Speaker 1: then or in Japan.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Oh.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I actually I think I kind of forgot to say
- 20:31Speaker 1: where they live. They live in Japan.
- 20:33Speaker 2: I assume that by his name, But yeah, Okay.
- 20:35Speaker 1: So I don't know if basically it was just like
- 20:39Speaker 1: back in the day when he was born, like the
- 20:41Speaker 1: family didn't talk about sex, and I guess maybe they didn't.
- 20:43Speaker 2: In the schools either.
- 20:45Speaker 1: What era was this, Well he was born in nineteen
- 20:49Speaker 1: forty nine.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Forties okay, so well fifties then.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yeah, where was it here?
- 20:55Speaker 2: Okay?
- 20:55Speaker 1: Because when Esay got his first erection, he thought something
- 21:00Speaker 1: was wrong with him, that he was ill and got
- 21:03Speaker 1: super embarrassed about it, and he didn't know how or
- 21:07Speaker 1: about masturbation at the time, so he turned to his dog.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Oh and that's literally all I'm going to say about
- 21:16Speaker 1: that because I'm just not going in there.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so maybe sex education is actually a good thing. Yeah,
- 21:25Speaker 2: I'm thinking, oh yeah, I'm thinking.
- 21:28Speaker 1: So all these things considered, are you okay?
- 21:33Speaker 2: I am really disturbed.
- 21:34Speaker 1: It's really disturbing.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Like, if there's one, I mean, it's horrendous. I think
- 21:39Speaker 2: we talked about this before. It's horrendous when you talk
- 21:41Speaker 2: about some of the things that we do to human beings,
- 21:45Speaker 2: but it's like it's even worse when it's animals. I
- 21:47Speaker 2: just it gets to me more.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Well, I think it gets both well, yeah, it gets us.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I don't know where huge animal lovers, and just there's
- 21:55Speaker 1: just you look in their eyes. They're just so innocent
- 21:57Speaker 1: and pure, and I'm like.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Well, I think it's because they are literally helpless and
- 22:03Speaker 2: completely dependent on us. Yeah, you're there everything, So I
- 22:06Speaker 2: mean to do something to them when they rely on
- 22:10Speaker 2: you for everything, it just seems like a greater sin
- 22:13Speaker 2: because you're breaking more trust. Not that it is a
- 22:17Speaker 2: greater sin, but it's just it's that much more heartbreaking. Yeah,
- 22:20Speaker 2: you know in that sense. Yeah, it's a really sensitive
- 22:25Speaker 2: thing to say.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I know I could go in a more detail, but
- 22:27Speaker 1: I'm just not going to. Yes, I don't want to. Okay,
- 22:30Speaker 1: So all these things considered, I say turned to having
- 22:34Speaker 1: a strong interest in literature. He would go on to
- 22:37Speaker 1: attend the attend Waco University, and completed a master's degree
- 22:42Speaker 1: in English literature literature at Kawanzi Kuka University.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Nailed it.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Probably nailed it. As age, his fascination with cannibism would
- 22:54Speaker 1: develop a sexual component, and he started fantasizing about eating
- 22:59Speaker 1: the flesh of a particularly interested in tall Western women.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I haven't mentioned this yet because I kind of mentioned
- 23:08Speaker 1: a little bit earlier. I guess, but Es was a
- 23:10Speaker 1: very small man. He was four foot nine inches, often
- 23:15Speaker 1: describing himself as very frail. Wow, so not even five feet.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I'm really curious if he likes to be dominated or
- 23:24Speaker 2: if he likes to be the dominator.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I don't even think this podcast will answer that for you. Really, no, Okay,
- 23:32Speaker 1: so you're going to just have to keep wondering.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I guess. Okay, well I'm going to wonder. I'll think
- 23:36Speaker 2: on it. I'll see, I'll draw my conclusion at the end.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Okay. When Isa was twenty four, he intended to complete
- 23:43Speaker 1: his first cannibalism act. He followed a German woman home
- 23:47Speaker 1: to her apartment, waited until her lights were turned off,
- 23:52Speaker 1: and broke in while she was sleeping. She was asleep
- 23:56Speaker 1: in her bed, naked, and he wanted to slice off
- 23:58Speaker 1: a piece of her butt to enjoy later and flee
- 24:02Speaker 1: the scene.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Did he actually or just want to? He just wanted to.
- 24:06Speaker 2: He didn't do it, did he?
- 24:07Speaker 1: So? I'm not certain how that played out in his mind,
- 24:10Speaker 1: because it obviously didn't go quite like that. He had
- 24:14Speaker 1: nothing to knock, he went, he broke in.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Ye didn't break in. I gathered that, but I'm imagining
- 24:19Speaker 2: him like at the bedroom door, maybe even looming over
- 24:22Speaker 2: her or something, and either she wakes up and she
- 24:25Speaker 2: interrupts him, or he just doesn't have the houtzpah to
- 24:29Speaker 2: do it.
- 24:30Speaker 1: So he was basically super poor planned. He had nothing
- 24:34Speaker 1: to like knock the woman out with or anything. So
- 24:36Speaker 1: he grabs an umbrella she had in there, and kind
- 24:40Speaker 1: of like went through her apartment and found a knife
- 24:41Speaker 1: from her kitchen.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Gotcha.
- 24:43Speaker 1: So I'm just like, I mean, I guess that means
- 24:45Speaker 1: it's not premeditated. But as he approached the sleeping woman,
- 24:49Speaker 1: he accidentally touched her, waking her up. She started screaming,
- 24:53Speaker 1: and that, being that Esa was so small, she was
- 24:56Speaker 1: able to overtake him.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Gotcha.
- 24:59Speaker 1: The police arrest I said, you say, and charged him
- 25:01Speaker 1: with attempted rape. He kept his intended desires to himself
- 25:08Speaker 1: of wanting to eat her ass literally.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Literally.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I had to put that literally in there because then
- 25:16Speaker 1: like eating the ass, I guess could be right.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I should have seen that coming, but I didn't. That
- 25:23Speaker 2: is single handedly the greatest thing you've said in this podcast.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Oh wow, Bravo.
- 25:29Speaker 1: It wasn't that good, Ben, You're just like bringing hysterics
- 25:33Speaker 1: over there.
- 25:35Speaker 2: That was good. That was I should have seen that coming,
- 25:38Speaker 2: but I didn't. Wow.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I chuckled early.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm disappointed I didn't think of that. If I
- 25:46Speaker 2: wrote this podcast, I would have gone right over that joke. Yeah,
- 25:49Speaker 2: you think I would have missed it.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Well, it's actually funny because I just had that written
- 25:54Speaker 1: and then I was just like, wait a sick wait
- 25:58Speaker 1: a sec. So there we go. Okay, where the freak was?
- 26:01Speaker 1: I Oh, okay, but I think we all know what
- 26:04Speaker 1: wealth can do. His father paid a settlement to the victim,
- 26:10Speaker 1: causing the charges of attempted rape to be dropped. So
- 26:15Speaker 1: I mean, okay, I just want to touch on that
- 26:17Speaker 1: because I feel like that's awesome that this chick she
- 26:20Speaker 1: didn't actually get injured, I guess. I mean, she would
- 26:23Speaker 1: have got this shit scared out of her, like that's terrifying,
- 26:25Speaker 1: and I'm sure she locks her everything locked.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Your door and everything. Now.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Yeah, But then I mean, taking that settlement probably was.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I bet he was a fair chunk of change and
- 26:35Speaker 1: would like changed her life, right, So I don't know,
- 26:38Speaker 1: it's kind of but then this guy is just like
- 26:42Speaker 1: getting off the.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Hook for shit, yep, and right back out there to
- 26:48Speaker 2: do it again, as we've seen time and time again.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Time and time again. Yeah, okay, So after finishing his
- 26:54Speaker 1: graduate program, you say, went on vacation, taking a luxury
- 26:58Speaker 1: boat to Greece. He would meet a butcher while on
- 27:02Speaker 1: this boat who described as being a fat, jolly man
- 27:06Speaker 1: who described to him in detail how to butcher meet.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Because Esay was very and questioning, questioning his job and
- 27:16Speaker 1: wanted to.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Know everything, well, I mean, butchery is like an art form.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I'm sure someone who's into that would be more than
- 27:22Speaker 2: willing to share the information with someone of like mind. Exactly.
- 27:26Speaker 2: He was just talking about his job, right. Yeah. So
- 27:29Speaker 2: the problem with this, though.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Is Esay would later go on to use these skills,
- 27:35Speaker 1: which he'll hear about, but he had the absolute I
- 27:38Speaker 1: feel like awkwardness, assholeness, like all of the above to
- 27:42Speaker 1: send this man a letter later basically thanking him wow
- 27:47Speaker 1: for sharing this knowledge with him.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Wow, and like it.
- 27:50Speaker 1: In one of the interviews, is almost like he was
- 27:52Speaker 1: surprised at the guy didn't ema or didn't letter him
- 27:55Speaker 1: back or send a message back. But he just was
- 27:58Speaker 1: like almost putting blak and guilt on this poor man.
- 28:01Speaker 2: So I'm assuming this is not like after he's just
- 28:04Speaker 2: done it and not caught. This is after he's been caught.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh wow, so the guy might even have heard
- 28:10Speaker 1: it and recognized him and wow, like that just sucks.
- 28:14Speaker 2: No kidding, he gets caught. We know that.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I did disdrop that, didn't I well.
- 28:20Speaker 2: I mean we knew his name and we're describing it.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Of course, you get yeah.
- 28:23Speaker 1: So, at the age of twenty eight, Esay moved to
- 28:26Speaker 1: Paris to pursue a PhD studying comparative literature at the
- 28:32Speaker 1: Sorbone University, which is known to be quite a prestige university.
- 28:38Speaker 1: While in Paris, you Say admitted that he would bring
- 28:40Speaker 1: home a sex worker almost every night.
- 28:43Speaker 2: To eat ass.
- 28:47Speaker 1: With the intention to shoot them, but he was never
- 28:50Speaker 1: able to get the courage to pull the trigger until
- 28:55Speaker 1: one day until don't don't dn't. In nineteen eighty one,
- 29:00Speaker 1: after being in Paris for a number of years, Esse
- 29:03Speaker 1: met twenty five year old Dutch student Renee Heartfelt, who
- 29:07Speaker 1: was also studying at Sorborne University. Renee was a stunning
- 29:12Speaker 1: five' ten very intelligent woman Who issay was attracted to.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Instantly she spoke many languages and he would hire her
- 29:22Speaker 1: using his father's money to teach Him.
- 29:24Speaker 2: German.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Okay they would start, to, however develop a, friendship As
- 29:29Speaker 1: renee would regularly Visit essay's.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Apartment for His german.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Lessons, however as they grew closer and, Closer essay's desire
- 29:40Speaker 1: for her grew as well as he would become obsessed
- 29:44Speaker 1: with the thoughts of eating. Her he is described as
- 29:48Speaker 1: a desire to eat, women eventually almost turning into an, obligation,
- 29:53Speaker 1: obligation obligation his, words, wow which is really messed up
- 29:59Speaker 1: when you think about.
- 29:59Speaker 2: That no one owes anyone shit, ever remember? That?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Yeah look so In june, eleventh nineteen eighty, one he
- 30:12Speaker 1: Invited renee over to have dinner with him at his.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Apartment not as a, date, though but under the pretext
- 30:19Speaker 1: that his professor wanted Some german poetry. Recorded but As
- 30:24Speaker 1: i'm sure you, assumed you, say planned to Murder renee that.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Night Poor, renee considering himself, weak, ugly and, small he
- 30:35Speaker 1: Selected renee for her health and, beauty which were characteristics
- 30:39Speaker 1: he felt he, lacked and he wanted to absorb her.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Energy AND i guess he thought he could do this
- 30:46Speaker 1: by through consuming.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Her that is fucked, up super fucked.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Like the poor. Thing LIKE i feel like she was
- 30:56Speaker 1: just like a kind person because she enjoyed hanging out with,
- 31:01Speaker 1: him but it was strictly friendship or. Whatever, Right but,
- 31:05Speaker 1: then AND i don't even think that she had the
- 31:08Speaker 1: knowledge that he had this obsession with.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Her AND i think that like absorbing her beauty and,
- 31:13Speaker 2: stuff that's got to be completely like an. AFTERTHOUGHT i
- 31:16Speaker 2: called bullshit on, that because he's already got these like
- 31:20Speaker 2: these thoughts of wanting to consume. Someone he's already got
- 31:24Speaker 2: an idea on these Tall western women that he, likes
- 31:28Speaker 2: so she fits the, profile and he already knows what
- 31:32Speaker 2: he wants to do with. HER i think he's just
- 31:35Speaker 2: adding that in after the fact to make himself feel
- 31:37Speaker 2: better about doing the.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Act, Possibly, YEAH i don't know if that was Ever,
- 31:42Speaker 1: yeah it would have been stated AFTER i. Suppose BUT i,
- 31:45Speaker 1: mean this desire has been going on for, decades PROBABLY i,
- 31:50Speaker 1: Know and exactly my.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Point he's been having these desires for, Decades so why would,
- 31:55Speaker 2: WELL i wanted, to you, know imbue her energy and,
- 31:59Speaker 2: beauty and to, me why would that change the desires
- 32:03Speaker 2: and make it? Okay why is it now that's what
- 32:06Speaker 2: made me want to do.
- 32:07Speaker 1: It, yeah there was actually some reports that did say
- 32:10Speaker 1: his story would kind of change a little bit through
- 32:13Speaker 1: the years. Slightly SO i mean he's just making it
- 32:16Speaker 1: his perfect story really, Right, well it's growing in his
- 32:20Speaker 1: head and he's probably justifying his actions in a way.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Exactly that's justifying, actions and humans are infamous for doing.
- 32:28Speaker 2: So justifying one's, actions and hindsight is twenty. Twenty so
- 32:33Speaker 2: after the, Fact, okay you look at the situation and
- 32:36Speaker 2: you justify your, actions and you convince yourself that this
- 32:41Speaker 2: is why you did, it not that you're trying to
- 32:42Speaker 2: convince other. People you're convincing yourself this is WHY i did.
- 32:46Speaker 1: It, well you always come up with better shit after
- 32:49Speaker 1: you've done. Something oh, Yeah OH i should have done.
- 32:51Speaker 2: THIS i can't count the amount of times WHERE i
- 32:54Speaker 2: should have yelled at that person at that intersection because
- 32:58Speaker 2: he cut me off and he was, asshole but you
- 33:00Speaker 2: didn't even honk, Right and then like two months, LATER
- 33:04Speaker 2: i wake up at three, Am OH i should have done,
- 33:06Speaker 2: This like you, know it haunts, you it does that asshole, seriously, okay,
- 33:12Speaker 2: seriously one day you were, there he turned he cut me,
- 33:16Speaker 2: OFF i flipped him, off and he turned round the
- 33:18Speaker 2: lights and followed us down and then like pulled a
- 33:21Speaker 2: yui and was glaring at, Us AND i, WAS i
- 33:23Speaker 2: should have done. Something, really you don't remember. THAT i
- 33:26Speaker 2: don't THINK i.
- 33:26Speaker 1: DO i forget like, that Realazi, ANYWAYS i should HAVE
- 33:30Speaker 1: i should have Done, yeah.
- 33:34Speaker 2: WELL i was, LIKE i think we were like eighteen
- 33:35Speaker 2: or nineteen at the. Time SO i was a little.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Cowardice he was a full grown. Adult oh my, goodness
- 33:41Speaker 2: came back to the. Story, SORRY i. Digress.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Okay so Was renee was sitting At ASA's desk reading.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Poetry her back was turned to, him so he took
- 33:52Speaker 1: this as his, opportunity grabbing his twenty two caliber. Rifle you,
- 33:58Speaker 1: say would Shoot renee in the back at the, neck
- 34:01Speaker 1: some reports saying after which he would faint from the
- 34:05Speaker 1: shock of what he just. Did not all reports said,
- 34:09Speaker 1: that but some reports that said it was a shock
- 34:11Speaker 1: or seeing the blood or, whatever because he didn't like.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Blood it's known that he doesn't like.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Blood interesting for a. Cannibal that is actually.
- 34:18Speaker 1: INTERESTING i never put that. Together so when he came
- 34:21Speaker 1: to he realized he could finally carry out his plan
- 34:26Speaker 1: of consuming human, flesh, meat whatever you want to call.
- 34:30Speaker 1: It but being attracted To, renee he initially had sex
- 34:34Speaker 1: with the, corpse, which oh my, gosh, Like i'm so, sorry,
- 34:39Speaker 1: guys because my last one was and that's just. Shit
- 34:45Speaker 1: it's just all. Shit that's the only Thing i'm mentioning about.
- 34:48Speaker 1: That but once that was, done it was time to
- 34:52Speaker 1: fulfill the fantasies he had been brewing since he was basically.
- 34:56Speaker 2: A, child well since six right.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Six, seven, yeah grade. One but like most of his,
- 35:01Speaker 1: plans he did not have this fully thought. Out he
- 35:05Speaker 1: knew he wanted to start on the, ass which looked
- 35:08Speaker 1: most delicious to, him and to start on the right,
- 35:11Speaker 1: side as it was the furthest from the, heart and
- 35:13Speaker 1: he had a fear of. BLOOD i don't even know
- 35:16Speaker 1: if that makes, sense but that was his.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Logic that doesn't make, Sense but to be, honest in
- 35:22Speaker 2: any sort of butcher butchery or, anything the ass is
- 35:26Speaker 2: where you have the nicest cuts of. Meat, REALLY i
- 35:30Speaker 2: think rump, rose the nicest, STEAK i, mean tenderloin is
- 35:33Speaker 2: up into the back and stuff like, that but it's
- 35:35Speaker 2: still kind of the rear. End, humhm that like basically
- 35:40Speaker 2: from your middle back down your spine into your. Butt
- 35:45Speaker 2: that's where the nicest meat will.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Be oh my, gosh you know, What i'd honestly Think
- 35:48Speaker 1: i'd rather just starve to death than have To, yeah
- 35:51Speaker 1: can assume a, HUMANS i feel you, LIKE i couldn't
- 35:55Speaker 1: imagine looking at someone's ass and being like.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Tasty but muscle structure is muscle, structure and well like.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Tasting maybe that person is a nice ass and all.
- 36:04Speaker 1: THAT i Want champa bite some, ass, no, Okay but
- 36:10Speaker 1: he quickly realized that he couldn't bite into the. Skin
- 36:14Speaker 1: his teeth weren't sharp enough and it was hurting his.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Jaw so he rummaged through his kitchen to find something
- 36:20Speaker 1: to assist, him trying to find a fruit knife or
- 36:23Speaker 1: he did, find, sorry a fruit, knife but that also
- 36:26Speaker 1: did not. Work he had nothing in his kitchen that
- 36:28Speaker 1: was sharp, enough WHICH i was.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Like sharpen your, knives, man that's really.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Weird LIKE i would have a few.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Knives i've got a knife on my hip sharp enough right,
- 36:38Speaker 2: here right, Now oh my, god at all.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Times so he made a trip to the market to
- 36:44Speaker 1: purchase a curved meat, knife and this did the, trick
- 36:48Speaker 1: And esay began to cut Into rene's. Body in his own,
- 36:53Speaker 1: words he thought he would see red meat right, away
- 36:56Speaker 1: but instead there was a yellow corn light like substance fat.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Fat he had to cut very deeply to reach the red,
- 37:05Speaker 1: meat experimenting by consuming some pieces raw the breast and the,
- 37:10Speaker 1: face cooking other, pieces and experimenting with different. Sauces he
- 37:16Speaker 1: ended up saving his favorite pieces in the, refrigerator like
- 37:20Speaker 1: the thigh to have. Later. Wow, okay that actually just
- 37:24Speaker 1: made me feel LIKE i was about to throw.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Up, yeah that was. Gross that was a. Lot, sorry
- 37:29Speaker 2: cool deep. Breast the only thing that's saving me right
- 37:31Speaker 2: now is because of. Hunting i'm not picturing. Human i'm
- 37:35Speaker 2: picturing like, animal you, Know i'm picturing.
- 37:39Speaker 1: HUMAN i think that might be Why i've been like,
- 37:41Speaker 1: queasy because this cases are.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Disgust, oh this is. Nasty don't get me. WRONG i
- 37:46Speaker 2: think disassociating is the only thing that's.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Saving, yeah maybe that's what we need to. Do. So
- 37:51Speaker 1: esay was also documenting each stage of the process by
- 37:54Speaker 1: taking photos Of renee's. Body this will go on for two,
- 37:58Speaker 1: days describing the meat a, soft odorless like, tuna and
- 38:03Speaker 1: that it would just melt in your.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Mouth, WOW i don't know what to say to? That.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Wow he consumed pieces Of renees, calves, lips, thighs and
- 38:16Speaker 1: breasts until he felt her body was no longer consumable
- 38:20Speaker 1: and needed to be disposed.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Of, OKAY i, MEAN i mean fair, Enough but that's
- 38:30Speaker 2: that's not a THOUGHT i want to.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Think, no, no, no it's, nasty like he's.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Nasty, Yeah, okay keep, GOING i want to move on
- 38:36Speaker 2: from this. Part keep, going get us out of these.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Woods so he went about purchasing two suitcases and decided
- 38:43Speaker 1: it would be a great idea to dispose Of renee's
- 38:46Speaker 1: body inside these, suitcases describing the process of cutting up
- 38:51Speaker 1: a body to actually be quite, hard nothing like you
- 38:55Speaker 1: would see in horror.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Movies. Nope But i'm just, LIKE i thought that that
- 39:00Speaker 2: was a terrible.
- 39:01Speaker 1: COMPARISON i, MEAN i guess what else would he have
- 39:05Speaker 1: it to compare it? To BUT i was just, like
- 39:06Speaker 1: does he need to say that?
- 39:07Speaker 2: Aloud, well There's i'm trying to think what the movie is.
- 39:12Speaker 2: CALLED i. DO i do remember the main villain Being
- 39:17Speaker 2: art the, clown AND i remember the, movie BUT i
- 39:19Speaker 2: can't remember what it's. Called. Horror. Horror horror fans out
- 39:21Speaker 2: there will be able to tell me what the movie.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Is but there's one scene where he has a woman
- 39:25Speaker 2: hanging upside down by her, ankles and he takes a
- 39:28Speaker 2: handsaw and starts at her groin while she's alive and
- 39:31Speaker 2: cuts her straight down The oh my, gosh she's done
- 39:35Speaker 2: in like five. Seconds oh, Yeah like that's that's an
- 39:39Speaker 2: all day affair if you're gonna try and do. That oh, god,
- 39:43Speaker 2: like because a, saw for, example will cut through, bone
- 39:48Speaker 2: it'll gum up in flesh and it won't continue to.
- 39:51Speaker 2: CUT a knife needs to be sharp to go through the,
- 39:55Speaker 2: flesh but it has trouble going through things like cartilage
- 39:58Speaker 2: and it will not go through.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Bone, Okay so even like the zombie killing, shows is
- 40:02Speaker 1: that just too easy? There killing and like chopping the
- 40:06Speaker 1: heads off and stuff is way too?
- 40:08Speaker 2: Easy oh, yeah way too. Easy things would get like
- 40:11Speaker 2: unless it's like a majorly sharp katana that's being wielded
- 40:15Speaker 2: by a, Professional, yeah it would go through a neck
- 40:18Speaker 2: or a torso even but it's it's not.
- 40:23Speaker 1: NORMAL i would actually think it would have been easy,
- 40:26Speaker 1: TOO i.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Guess. Now, well back in like way Old, japan they
- 40:31Speaker 2: judged blades by how many bodies they could go, through
- 40:35Speaker 2: so how many bodies of samurai could cut, through and
- 40:38Speaker 2: they do test them today with pigs in a similar.
- 40:42Speaker 2: SITUATION i believe the highest recorded one is a seven bodied,
- 40:48Speaker 2: blade but that even could be. Legend don't quote me on.
- 40:51Speaker 1: That, oh, like you can go kill seven people in.
- 40:54Speaker 2: One, swing in one, swing one swing through horsos of
- 41:00Speaker 2: that many. People but that's with a high quality, blade
- 41:06Speaker 2: very sharp by a. Professional your average day person is
- 41:11Speaker 2: going to have trouble going through a single body with
- 41:13Speaker 2: a professional, blade let alone a crappy one that's forty
- 41:17Speaker 2: dollars that you bought On.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Amazon, Okay, well so he just put in an out
- 41:22Speaker 1: there that it's quite, hard just so we all know
- 41:24Speaker 1: this at this.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Point, yeah, SORRY i digress.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Again, NO i was talking about, say he was the
- 41:30Speaker 1: one that said at, first right and you're just going, along, yeah.
- 41:33Speaker 2: But THEN i got off on the samurais In japan and, yeah.
- 41:36Speaker 1: So his plan was to dispose of the suitcases in
- 41:40Speaker 1: a lake At Boyd, blong which is a HUGE i
- 41:44Speaker 1: probably pronounced that. Wrong i'm just gonna, say probably pronounced
- 41:46Speaker 1: that wrong BECAUSE i do feel. Bad but it's a
- 41:48Speaker 1: major park In.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Paris and, yeah that is this is a hard. Word
- 41:53Speaker 2: you should have got Your French canadian. Out you should
- 41:54Speaker 2: have got.
- 41:55Speaker 1: THAT i actually don't remember any of My french from high,
- 41:58Speaker 1: school like, none because, okay for people actually that don't,
- 42:01Speaker 1: know like, We i'm pretty sure it's still a. Thing
- 42:04Speaker 1: but where we were expected to Take, french you had to.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Take it was a core mandatory course up until grade
- 42:10Speaker 1: ten nine.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Ten, oh it was less than. That for. ME i
- 42:14Speaker 2: think it was at least in high, school though not for,
- 42:17Speaker 2: me not even in middle. School for, ME i THINK
- 42:21Speaker 2: i stopped in grade. Six, OKAY i thought you had.
- 42:24Speaker 1: TO i don't, know BUT i was an overachiever, though
- 42:26Speaker 1: so maybe in my MIND i felt like you had
- 42:28Speaker 1: to and you.
- 42:28Speaker 2: DIDN'T i do. Know there's lots of places In, canada
- 42:31Speaker 2: like over In, ONTARIO i Believe quo, back of, course
- 42:33Speaker 2: because they are Primarily. French but there are many provinces
- 42:36Speaker 2: In canada where they do ensure that you Speak french still.
- 42:41Speaker 2: PRIMARILY i think it's probably close to like seventy seventy
- 42:44Speaker 2: five percent Of canadians don't Know. French over here IN,
- 42:46Speaker 2: bc it's very rare to find a resident who Speaks.
- 42:50Speaker 1: French BUT i DO i did think that you had
- 42:52Speaker 1: to take it up to a certain. PERIOD i don't,
- 42:54Speaker 1: know but that doesn't.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Matter.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Okay so this dude was taking these suitcases to a public.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Park he was doing it at eight o'clock at, night
- 43:06Speaker 1: and he didn't realize that it being like, summer that
- 43:09Speaker 1: it was still light. Outside he was surprised by, This.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Okay when he left.
- 43:14Speaker 1: His apartment with these, suitcases it surprised him that it
- 43:17Speaker 1: was still fucking light.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Outside he should just wait till it's. DARK i.
- 43:20Speaker 1: KNOW i was, like at that, point you should probably
- 43:22Speaker 1: just turn. Around. Yep and like where he was going
- 43:25Speaker 1: was like a popular, Place so this just doesn't make any.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Sense so he Hid renee's body inside these two. Suitcases
- 43:36Speaker 1: he calls a, taxi which is another weird, thing and
- 43:40Speaker 1: proceeds to make his way to the.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Park so the taxi took the. Body then he went
- 43:46Speaker 2: in a taxi with the. Suitcases, Wow.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Okay the funny thing is this taxi driver who was
- 43:53Speaker 1: helping him with the suitcases made a joke regarding the
- 43:57Speaker 1: weight of them and jokingly asked if the bags can
- 44:00Speaker 1: in a, corpse to which he, replied, no just books.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Dark oh AND i bet you that's not even the
- 44:09Speaker 1: first time something like that's, happened BECAUSE i know so
- 44:12Speaker 1: many times something's. Heavy oh my, gosh what do you
- 44:14Speaker 1: have in?
- 44:14Speaker 2: HERE a? Body, yeah that's the go to.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Joke and then that is probably sometimes maybe one out
- 44:21Speaker 1: OF i don't know how many it's a.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Body. Wow although books is a good, answer.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Because, yeah, heavy because he was a student too, write
- 44:28Speaker 1: so it just made. Sense now the visual is just too.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Much it would not have been easy for, you, say
- 44:36Speaker 1: to maneuver these suitcases through the park in the daylight
- 44:39Speaker 1: without going a. Notice so just imagine for a, second
- 44:43Speaker 1: a four foot nine man carrying two not wheeled. Suitcases
- 44:48Speaker 1: remember this is nineteen eighty. ONE i don't think wheels
- 44:51Speaker 1: on suitcases was quite invented. Yet And, renee though she
- 44:55Speaker 1: was partially, consumed her remaining, Remains i'm sure with still.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Outway you, say, so he's carrying two suitcases that outweigh,
- 45:05Speaker 1: him threw a public park in the daylight with a
- 45:08Speaker 1: lot of people.
- 45:09Speaker 2: AROUND i probably would offer to help, him, Honestly OH
- 45:15Speaker 2: i guess, Yeah i'm surprised someone. Did Canadian oh.
- 45:20Speaker 1: My, gosh could you imagine then later you like found
- 45:23Speaker 1: out those body in, there.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Man, yeah and what if this?
- 45:26Speaker 1: Okay you offer to help, him because his original plan
- 45:30Speaker 1: was he was going to be throwing these suitcases in the,
- 45:32Speaker 1: lake which doesn't even really make a lot of. Sense
- 45:34Speaker 1: HOW i don't know how he was getting in this.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Lake but then if he's, like if you offer to help, them,
- 45:39Speaker 1: Yeah i'm just tearing these down to the, lake he.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Probably wouldn't have accepted help, honestly now would have been
- 45:44Speaker 2: on that, way.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Okay so people were, noticing, noticing which was starting to
- 45:50Speaker 1: make him, nervous so he found a quiet spot to
- 45:55Speaker 1: take a. Break he was running out of energy at this,
- 45:57Speaker 1: point mm, hmm and he started to get to acted
- 46:00Speaker 1: and admire the sunset that was taking, place WHICH i
- 46:03Speaker 1: think is so fucked that's, interesting but that was what was.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Happening he was standing slightly away from the suitcases at the,
- 46:10Speaker 1: time and a man asked if they belonged to, him
- 46:14Speaker 1: which he impulsively said, no later thinking if he had said,
- 46:19Speaker 1: yes the man would probably have just like gone on
- 46:22Speaker 1: his way and left him. Alone as the man proceeded
- 46:25Speaker 1: to investigate the, suitcases opening, them he quickly discovered there
- 46:31Speaker 1: was human remains inside the. Suitcase and yelled out.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Murderer, shit do you like point at the? Dude then
- 46:39Speaker 2: LIKE i, sayah what's his?
- 46:40Speaker 1: NAME i, say say, okay now you got me a say, yeah.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Okay so he yells out. Murderer but at this, Time
- 46:52Speaker 1: asay's already stroll him back to his.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Apartment oh, okay.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Yeah so he didn't stay for this come. Oution he
- 46:58Speaker 1: was like, pace fair, enough face some.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Out i'm really hoping that it was only one. Victim
- 47:05Speaker 2: just throwing that out there, now don't tell, me just
- 47:08Speaker 2: keep going.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Okay because everything done BY asa was really quite poorly,
- 47:14Speaker 1: planned police were able to connect the suitcases to him
- 47:18Speaker 1: quite quickly within four. Days, yes they did this via
- 47:22Speaker 1: the cab driver that picked him up and brought him
- 47:25Speaker 1: to the. Park like that was just like kind of.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Dumb, yeah that was really.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Stupid and at the time of the arrest he admittedly
- 47:32Speaker 1: he openly admitted to everything and admitted at the time
- 47:36Speaker 1: a feeling relief that he was.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Caught, Basically i'm glad there was only one.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Victim there was only one victim, yet but really there
- 47:46Speaker 1: was no way out for him because in his apartment
- 47:48Speaker 1: it contained cooked and uncooked human. Remains fuck the photos
- 47:53Speaker 1: he took of the process and a PHOTO id card
- 47:56Speaker 1: belonging To. Renee oh, god so like the key had
- 48:00Speaker 1: to admit. It there's just no way.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Out.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Now you would think that that's. It this dude is
- 48:05Speaker 1: going to, jail like he's fucked.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Right WELL i would think, that but you told me
- 48:09Speaker 2: that there's more beyond, that so let's hear. It but
- 48:14Speaker 2: that was not the. Case ah, fuck here we.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Go he is actually oh free as we, speak and
- 48:20Speaker 1: he has been Since august, twelfth nineteen eighty. Six and
- 48:25Speaker 1: if we need a, refresher he committed the Crime june
- 48:28Speaker 1: of nineteen eighty. One.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Wow five, years, yeah five years two months that's what he.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Served, yeah, YEAH i, MIGHT i. CAN'T i THINK i
- 48:40Speaker 1: haven't listed it, below but like not enough, time not
- 48:42Speaker 1: even remotely enough.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Time what the actual? Fuck?
- 48:46Speaker 1: Yeah and oh, man this case it just goes really,
- 48:50Speaker 1: downhill like we're not.
- 48:51Speaker 2: Done so he murdered someone eight eighth them tried to
- 48:55Speaker 2: just dispose of the body and he gets five years.
- 49:00Speaker 1: But not really even because let's just let's just dive.
- 49:05Speaker 2: In, here, okay, okay dive In, so first.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Off his, Father, wealthy hired him a good.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Lawyer.
- 49:11Speaker 1: Right he was contained In france for two years while
- 49:16Speaker 1: he was examined by, psychologists and it was determined by
- 49:19Speaker 1: The french court That esay was mentally, ill they, said legally,
- 49:24Speaker 1: insane and was able to was unable to stand. Trial
- 49:29Speaker 1: he was ordered to be held indefinitely in a criminal psychiatric. Wart,
- 49:35Speaker 1: wow so that's not necessarily even serving. Time that's that's
- 49:41Speaker 1: getting help, Right, WELL i, MEAN i guess it's kind
- 49:44Speaker 1: of serving. Time and it was saying that he would
- 49:47Speaker 1: be in there.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Indefinitely there's there's arguments to. That mind, YOU i haven't
- 49:51Speaker 2: really done my due diligence of research into, it but
- 49:56Speaker 2: there's there's arguments on that those facilities really end up
- 50:00Speaker 2: being a lot worse than serving time in. Prison they could.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Be, so, YEAH i have no. Idea i've NEVER i,
- 50:07Speaker 1: Mean i've seen a jail and, stuff BUT i don't
- 50:09Speaker 1: think i've ever really like looked inside of what a
- 50:12Speaker 1: psychiatric word would look.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Like ALTHOUGH i do like back in the, DAY i don't, know,
- 50:16Speaker 2: eighties but definitely farther it, Was, oh it could have
- 50:19Speaker 2: been even.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Worse nowadays they might not be quite as.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Bad, Yeah like back, then you're going through at least
- 50:23Speaker 2: electric shock therapy that sort of, stuff.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Because they didn't even believe that mental andness was necessarily
- 50:28Speaker 1: a thing back in the.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Day, yeah so it was, like we're going to just
- 50:32Speaker 2: shock cure.
- 50:32Speaker 1: You so while he was, there you, say would write
- 50:38Speaker 1: a book titled in The, fog which he also. Illustrated
- 50:43Speaker 1: but now my question here is if he was determined
- 50:46Speaker 1: to be mentally, ill would someone with, that being diagnosed
- 50:51Speaker 1: with that be able to write a?
- 50:52Speaker 2: Book?
- 50:53Speaker 1: LIKE i, mean because of what he, did it's not
- 50:55Speaker 1: far fetched that it would be determined there was something
- 50:59Speaker 1: wrong with. Him BUT i also personally think he knew
- 51:02Speaker 1: what he was doing and he shouldn't have been using
- 51:05Speaker 1: that time to write a, book but maybe rather get
- 51:07Speaker 1: the help that he.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Needed, WELL i think someone with an illness like, that
- 51:12Speaker 2: is well with an, illness is definitely capable of writing a.
- 51:15Speaker 2: BOOK i think it depends on the.
- 51:17Speaker 1: Illness, well they had they had said that he, was
- 51:22Speaker 1: they use the words legally.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Insane, yeah but what's that equivalent to today today's? DEFINITION
- 51:28Speaker 2: i don't.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Know but then, anyway he wrote a. Book the book
- 51:31Speaker 1: he was he wrote was said to be, fiction but
- 51:34Speaker 1: basically resembled his story to a t that it was
- 51:38Speaker 1: concluded to be a true account of his brutal.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Crime but, yeah he labeled it. Fiction yeah like super.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Interesting that sounds Insane.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Actually, yeah either, way both families, involved he, says And
- 51:53Speaker 1: renees did not want this book to be published for
- 51:56Speaker 1: very understandable, reasons but, humans being the curious beings we,
- 52:00Speaker 1: are wanted to read his story and all the gruesome
- 52:04Speaker 1: details that came with, it making the book a bestseller
- 52:08Speaker 1: And issay to become a celebrity in Both france And.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Japan fuck a, celebrity Jess.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Ua now there are mixed reports, here but they could
- 52:19Speaker 1: all go hand in. Hand france didn't like the publicity
- 52:24Speaker 1: that came With asay's new, fame and The french public
- 52:28Speaker 1: was growing upset that was being kept at their, dollar
- 52:31Speaker 1: their expense, right and lawyer was also allegedly Convincing french
- 52:38Speaker 1: authorities that it would be better to have him received
- 52:41Speaker 1: treatment in A japanese. Facility issa was deported back To
- 52:45Speaker 1: japan and immediately committed to a hospital In tokyo for
- 52:50Speaker 1: evaluation and. Treatment now this is the part that's complete.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Shit this is the part that the whole thing is complete.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Shit but you. HAVE i just have to wonder what
- 53:01Speaker 1: exactly happened here BECAUSE i just feel Like AS's lawyer
- 53:05Speaker 1: or dad or both of them had a hand in.
- 53:09Speaker 1: THIS i don't, know JUST i don't. Know i'll carry,
- 53:11Speaker 1: on but just how little time he like kind of,
- 53:14Speaker 1: served you? Know oh, Yeah so at the new hospital In,
- 53:18Speaker 1: tokyo it was determined by psychologists That essay was in
- 53:22Speaker 1: fact not mentally, ill and the sexual perversion was. Found
- 53:28Speaker 1: that sexual perversion story was found to be his only
- 53:32Speaker 1: motivation for the murder Of, rene so he could now
- 53:36Speaker 1: be criminally responsible for her.
- 53:38Speaker 2: Crime, okay so this is where he's going to get.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Charged but why did he not serve the?
- 53:42Speaker 1: Time but with the transfer Of essay To, Japan french
- 53:46Speaker 1: officials had sealed his documents and did not want to
- 53:52Speaker 1: share them With japanese. Authorities what they didn't share?
- 53:56Speaker 2: Them are you fucking kidding?
- 53:58Speaker 1: Me this caused a problem because now they basically had
- 54:02Speaker 1: nothing to Hold essay and and basically he was allowed
- 54:07Speaker 1: to check him out of the.
- 54:08Speaker 2: Hospital are you fucking? Seid that's what. Happened so he's
- 54:11Speaker 2: just checked himself out And france did nothing about.
- 54:13Speaker 1: It, yeah, lay, FUCK i know it's it just HAS
- 54:20Speaker 1: i just feel like there has to be like more
- 54:23Speaker 1: to that.
- 54:25Speaker 2: That, wow, YEAH i think there's more to. That my
- 54:30Speaker 2: guess is someone somewhere fucked up or or. That oh,
- 54:34Speaker 2: YEAH i don't.
- 54:35Speaker 1: KNOW i just wonder like he was a wealthy, man he.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Could have intercepted.
- 54:39Speaker 1: SOMETHING i don't, know because that's really.
- 54:42Speaker 2: FUCKED i was going to say someone somewhere lost the
- 54:46Speaker 2: files or lost the evidence or.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Something, no they are basically, Sealed and but are They
- 54:52Speaker 1: that's my.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Thing, well because.
- 54:54Speaker 1: One REPORT i even read basically said Like france like
- 54:58Speaker 1: be rid it of, him drop the charges in every.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Thing so they sealed the, documents they are. Gone oh
- 55:03Speaker 1: but then when he goes To japan and they are
- 55:07Speaker 1: not finding him mentally, ill then that means that he
- 55:13Speaker 1: did that. Willingly but they have, nothing they have absolutely,
- 55:17Speaker 1: nothing and he checks himself.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Out, Wow, okay that is.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Fucked and he's been a free man ever since he
- 55:24Speaker 1: served about four years in A france hospital in fifteen
- 55:27Speaker 1: months in A japanese hospital for the murder Of Rene.
- 55:31Speaker 1: HEARTFELT i would basically say that's what you call falling
- 55:36Speaker 1: through the cracks of the justice.
- 55:37Speaker 2: System no, kidding because.
- 55:40Speaker 1: He should have been in there for, life especially with
- 55:44Speaker 1: the ship That i'm still about to share with.
- 55:45Speaker 2: You there's, More there's.
- 55:47Speaker 1: More this is not the.
- 55:48Speaker 2: End what are you?
- 55:53Speaker 1: Good got a? Few we got a bit more pages
- 55:56Speaker 1: to go through here?
- 55:57Speaker 2: Pages are you fucking kidding?
- 56:01Speaker 1: Me? Okay, so in the in The vice INTERVIEW i,
- 56:06Speaker 1: Watch say describes being let out of the hospital as
- 56:10Speaker 1: being forced out of the. Hospital he was very much
- 56:14Speaker 1: so plays like a victim role in.
- 56:16Speaker 2: This, okay is this? Thing is this The france, hospital
- 56:18Speaker 2: The japanese, one like.
- 56:20Speaker 1: The Japanese like he's, Done he's out in the free.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Right he thinks that he was forced out and that
- 56:26Speaker 1: he's a victim, basically and that he has no, job no.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Income oh, OKAY i, SEE i see what you.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Mean, so AND i don't. KNOW i just watching, That
- 56:35Speaker 1: LIKE i, MEAN i would suggest maybe watching that interview
- 56:38Speaker 1: because you get to he's in, it and it's just so.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Disturbing it's so disturbing that he is even able out
- 56:45Speaker 1: in doing these.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Interviews i'm just, like.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Ugh, okay so NOW i have more to, say and
- 56:51Speaker 1: LIKE i, said it just keeps getting.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Worse fuck good. THING i have a lot of whiskey
- 56:55Speaker 2: in nineteen eighty.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Five so this is going back. Slightly crime scene photos
- 56:59Speaker 1: from an murder and dismemberment were actually leaked to the
- 57:04Speaker 1: press and published by a Popular french. Magazine and these
- 57:09Speaker 1: photos are.
- 57:10Speaker 2: Horrific oh, Shit so The french can publish these photos
- 57:14Speaker 2: but not the. Information WHAT i don't.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Know someone leaked. THEM i don't know if it was
- 57:18Speaker 1: someone like in The morgue OR i don't, know but
- 57:21Speaker 1: someone leaked these photos and.
- 57:24Speaker 2: That whoever is doing this shit like fuck.
- 57:27Speaker 1: THEM i know. Something there's like more to.
- 57:29Speaker 2: This that's WHY i say there's more to, it one hundred.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Percent so some of the worst and these are some
- 57:34Speaker 1: of the worst victim Photos i've ever. SEEN i showed
- 57:36Speaker 1: them to. You the fact That renee's family and friends
- 57:39Speaker 1: had to see them when like they should have just
- 57:43Speaker 1: been sealed up, forever just like literally breaks my, Heart
- 57:46Speaker 1: like that is a loved one AND i just could
- 57:49Speaker 1: never imagine seeing a loved one like.
- 57:50Speaker 2: That, well those are the photos you showed. Me and
- 57:53Speaker 2: WHAT i told you is it almost doesn't look. Real
- 57:56Speaker 2: it looks like a mannequin very much so like the
- 57:58Speaker 2: Black dahlia was, described looks like a.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Mannequin the images Show renee's nude, body which has been.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Dismembered her head and limbs are no longer attached to her,
- 58:09Speaker 1: body and there's a lot of damage from her from, him,
- 58:14Speaker 1: sorry removing pieces of her body to. Consume, yeah, man,
- 58:19Speaker 1: Sorry i'm. GOOD a reporter was arrested for publishing the
- 58:24Speaker 1: photos and over two hundred thousand copies of the. Magazines
- 58:28Speaker 1: the magazines were. Seized but when something like that is out,
- 58:31Speaker 1: there it's out. There. Yeah and this, though the REASON
- 58:36Speaker 1: i put this in. There this just added To ASA's
- 58:39Speaker 1: fame and he started to be referred to as the celebrity.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Cannibal oh, fuck are you?
- 58:46Speaker 1: Serious and he was all for capitalizing on the public's
- 58:50Speaker 1: interest in his.
- 58:51Speaker 2: Crimes he is banking on this like he is making.
- 58:56Speaker 2: Money he's making a lot of. Money.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Fuck he wrote a weekly column in a Popular japanese
- 59:03Speaker 1: tabloid magazine in addition to the book he wrote while,
- 59:06Speaker 1: hospitalized he also wrote and published several other, novels Including Illustrated.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Magnas do you know what that? Is?
- 59:15Speaker 2: No, sorry, OKAY i thought you.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Would it's A maybaen, pronouncer but it's comics or graphic
- 59:19Speaker 1: novels originating From. Japan Manga magna, magna mang ga maa.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Manga, well, actually manga is technically how it's. Pronounced, okay
- 59:30Speaker 2: so he did. That manga is The western, pronunciation but
- 59:32Speaker 2: manga is how it's actually.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Pronounced and then he also edited an anthology about cannibism.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Fantasies he appeared as a lecturer at universities and has
- 59:44Speaker 1: been a guest on Many japanese talk Shows Most disturbing
- 59:48Speaker 1: Of All You, say has written restaurant reviews For japanese
- 59:53Speaker 1: magazine and appeared on cooking Shows what the, fuck WHICH
- 59:58Speaker 1: i think is in no way he should ever be
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: associated with.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Food, no any chef that would associate with, That like,
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: WOW i would never support an an individual like. That fuck.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: That. No and the thing is, like so, yeah he's
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: saying he's a victim and, stuff but he's agreeing to
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: all these. Things some of them did like seem like
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: they almost put him in a situation where they're like
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: making fun of him sometimes some of the. Things but, like,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: yeah he was profiting money and, stuff and he was
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: known as like a, celebrity, right, Yeah, okay this could
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: be more disturbing than him associated with. FOOD i Don't
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: i'll let you. Decide but he's appeared in several porn
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: films in which he would bite his co stars or
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: in one, case he was to spend twenty four hours
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: with a. Woman they were supposed to have sex three,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: times but after the first time that they had, sex
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: he would have to share his secret with her and
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: of what he is and get her reaction on.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Camera what the fucked? Up? Ship? Yeah, Whoa i'm, sorry
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: this is the. Word. Whoa this is the worst case
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: we fucking. Covered not because it's like the most horrendous
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: stuff to the, victim but it. Is but we covered
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: some some Dark that's my. Point we've covered some dark
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: ship equally or potentially greater to, this don't get me.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: Wrong but the fact that he's just getting away with
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: this and it's now like the highlight of his life
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: and he is making money off it and he's happy
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: and just that is the most fucked.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Up things Ever so messed like ship.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Messed, okay wait to pick a fucking one year anniversary? Episode?
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: WOW i KNOW i was going to actually pick some
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: another one where like the husband had burgered his. WIFE
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: i think, yeah but THEN i was just like needed
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: something else to let me mount this. One it's really. Messed,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Okay so to finish this episode, off the most mind
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: blowing piece of the.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Puzzle, oh the most mind blowing. Piece now there's. More
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: are you? Ready? God AND i want to Say i'm,
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: ready But i'm Sure i'm, Not.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: He, say still. Emits he has a desire to eat,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: people and yet he's still roaming the. Streets he openly
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: admits that he has this, desire and in that one
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: interview he said that he can control his desires by,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: masturbation but for some, reason he can't no longer, masturbate
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: and so he fears what he will. Do he's still
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: roman the.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: Streets he should be in an. Institute if he has these,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: desires he's.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Omitting it to the, world but no one's fucking doing it.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Anything what the.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Fuck he also, claims, though that he would never act
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: on His cannaba's ballistic urges because he has no desire
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: to kill another human, being but he will pass by
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: a beautiful woman on the street and wonder what she
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: might taste.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Like, DAMN i want to eat that, ass.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: But literally taste like.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Fuck that is so fucked.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Up he also said that he thinks his desire to
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Eat renee heartfelt might have been satisfied if she would
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: have allowed him to drink her urine and eat her.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Pubic what your? Face? Oh, anyway so there you.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Go maybe you gotta stop with. That SO i can't
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: whoa are?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: You?
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Okay your face was so. DISTORTED i can't get it.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Together i'm, sorry but you are talking about some absolutely horrendous.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: Shit LIKE i, said it's it's of course she went
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: through some horrible things absolutely done to. Her but the,
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: twist the most twisted part of all of this is
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: society and humans around this individual who's just SAYING i
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: have these urges still and they're like, cool tell us
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: more walk.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Free yeah well, okay but what are they supposed to be?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Doing is the thing is he could have Done he
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: could have done this, Again like that's a long time
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: that he's been out on. It, Yes LIKE i would
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: not surprise me.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: If you're very well may have done this.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Again, Yeah like there's a missing. PERSON i mean you
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: we already know that he was always with sex. Workers
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: maybe he's done this to sex work and that person
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: hasn't been reported missing or something, right LIKE i feel
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: like he could have done this, again.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: As far as like what they're supposed to. Do he's openly,
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: SAYING i have these. Urges they should be, like we
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: should put you in a. Facility we need to get
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: these under.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: CONTROL i almost think that he would have probably been
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: receptive of it.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Too probably going, back probably.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Because in some way it does seem like he wants.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: Help and from the sounds of it, all the biggest
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: monster of all this not saying that his actions are
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: worse THAN i. Say is that how you say? IT i,
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: SAY a SAY i think you've gone.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: BACK i, SAY i KNOW i might. Have IT'S i
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: think it's it's you.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Say not that he's the biggest monster of all is his,
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Father not that he's committed worse, crimes Because asay has
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: actually murdered and consumed. Someone but his father is probably
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: the one who's, perpetrating or, sorry perpetuating him to walk the,
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: streets who's paid off The french, officials who's probably holding
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: off anyone who does want to put him in a.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Facility they're probably more so afraid of him and what
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: he is going to do or is capable.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: OF i don't, know, though we don't know, that.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Or maybe as wants to go to a facility and
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: his dad's.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Like, no because technically he could check himself in.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Somewhere, WELL i think that's probably the only way they
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: could hold. Him not that they can't like offer, HIM i.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Know but, yeah they can't physically make.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Him they can't hold, him but they can definitely OFFER i.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Believe So, Okay so BASICALLY i just dropped the bomb
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: THAT i don't. Know the other way that he could
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: be controlling his desires, though is maybe by drinking people's
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: urine and eating their pepic.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: CARES i don't.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: KNOW i don't. Know but the one thing is due
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: to health three. Reasons asay is in a position of
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: needing daily assistants and in his. Home so, BASICALLY i
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: feel like the population is mostly likely safe because he
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: WOULD i think he has health issues that he would
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: be needing help if he were to do these. Acts
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: SO i feel like at this point they're. Safe that
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: documentary THING i watch also said his new, fantasy AND
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: i don't even have this in, Here i'm just gonna
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: put it in, here is he wants to be. Killed
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: he fantasizes about being like brutally killed really where it
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: hurts like he wants the. Pain, Wow SO i don't,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: know this guy has some serious.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Issues. Wow that is some dark.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Shit BUT i would suggest, HEAVY i would suggest watching.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: This it was the documentary WAS i don't have it open.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Anymore it Was. Vice we'll put it in our show
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: notes the link BECAUSE i did get information from. There
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: but it's only like half an, hour and it's just
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: like so interesting to watch this, guy but it just
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: made me so angry most of the, time Because i'm,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: like how is he just three and out there to
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: even be doing this interview and saying these things and
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: it's just, okay like it it will probably make it
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: make you. Angry and he very much so portrays himself
