Your Praise Is a Weapon! Powerful Prayer for Breakthrough · Mornings with the Holy Spirit

0:01
We come before your throne, Lord, today
0:04
with thanksgiving in our mouths. We will
0:07
wield the weapon of gratitude. I thank
0:11
Lord. We choose to wield our gratitude
0:14
against every assignment of darkness,
0:16
every spirit of discouragement, every
0:18
attack of fear, and every circumstance
0:22
that has tried to steal our peace in the
0:25
mighty name of Jesus. We thank you,
0:28
Father, because thanksgiving is not just
0:30
something that we choose to do when
0:32
everything is going right. No,
0:34
thanksgiving is a weapon that we wield
0:37
in the middle of the battle, in the
0:40
midst of the warfare. It's our
0:42
declaration that you are greater than
0:44
our battles. You are stronger than our
0:47
enemies. You are faithful to fulfill
0:50
every promise that you have spoken.
0:52
You're not a man that you should lie,
0:54
nor the son of man that you should
0:56
repent. So we thank you and we praise
0:59
you. The enemy cannot withstand this
1:02
weapon of gratitude released from our
1:04
mouth. You inhabit the praises of your
1:07
people. So we magnify your name and
1:09
strongholds are shaken. We lift up our
1:12
voices in gratitude and the atmosphere
1:15
shifts and the powers of darkness are
1:17
going to bow to the name of Jesus even
1:19
now. So we thank you, Lord, that we have
1:21
a weaponized thanksgiving. We thank you
1:24
that in the face of opposition, we can
1:27
yet praise you. We can yet rejoice. We
1:30
bless your name while the battle still
1:32
rages because we know that the battle
1:34
belongs to you. And we are your battle
1:37
actors. So we thank you, Lord, that
1:40
every weapon formed against us is
1:42
failing even now. We thank you that
1:44
every trap of the enemy is exposed even
1:47
now. Every evil assignment is
1:49
overturned. Every plan of darkness is
1:52
brought to not in the name of Jesus. I
1:54
thank you, Lord. Just as the armies of
1:56
Judah went forth with praise before the
1:59
battle, we send our thanksgiving ahead
2:01
of us today. Let our praise go before
2:04
us. Let our worship rise like a mighty
2:06
weapon against the forces of darkness. I
2:09
thank you Lord. We release that weapon
2:11
of gratitude in Jesus name. Amen. And
2:15
amen. Come on somebody. God is good.
2:18
We're going to pray today. We're going
2:20
to shift atmospheres today. We're going
2:22
to press in today with this weapon
2:24
called thanksgiving. This weapon called
2:26
gratitude. It's like a flaming missile
2:29
being launched into the enemy's camp.
2:31
I'm about to go into 20 minutes of
2:33
unbroken prayer. We're going to praise
2:35
our way through. I'm telling you,
2:36
something's going to break today.
2:38
Something's about to shift. Amen. Praise
2:40
God. Remember to get into my gratitude

Amen. Today we're going to read from
5:05
I didn't pick out a devotion. Let me
5:07
see. Let me pull the old open the book
5:09
and point the finger and see what the
5:11
see what happen stance points us to. All
5:14
right, here we are. We're going to read
5:16
from victory decrees daily prophetic
5:18
strategies for spiritual warfare
5:20
victory. Before we do, share this with
5:22
somebody. Share it on your timeline.
5:24
Share it via messenger. Share it via
5:26
Twitter. Share it anywhere and
5:28
everywhere because we're going to pray
5:29
through today. Right on through. We're
5:32
going to pray right on through. We're
5:33
not stopping. We're not waiting. I'm
5:36
We're hitting go and we're not looking
5:37
back. Today's devotion is titled I can
5:41
hold you together. Aren't you glad?
5:44
Today's devotion, I can hold you
5:46
together. And here's what I heard the
5:47
Lord say. I hold the entire world
5:50
together. Don't you think I can hold you
5:53
together? I know the fire is hot, says
5:56
the Lord. I know the war against your
5:59
mind is racing. I see the enemy attacks.
6:03
Here's your strategy. Stick closer to
6:06
me. When your friends and enemies rise
6:09
up against you, I will still be standing
6:12
by your side. When all forsake you in
6:16
the battle, I will still be there to
6:18
lead you through, says the Lord. I hold
6:21
the entire world together. I can hold
6:24
you together. Grab hold of me and don't
6:27
let go. You win, says the spirit of the
6:31
living God. Aren't you glad? Aren't you
6:34
glad that you win? Aren't you glad that
6:36
he's already won? He's already defeated
6:38
the principalities and the powers, the
6:40
sickness and disease and depression and
6:42
discouragement. He's already defeated
6:45
all of it. All of it. He's made a way
6:47
for you to walk in victory. Thanks be to
6:49
God who always leads us into trial. Come
6:52
on. God is good all the time. Take
6:56
another hold of him. Scripture
6:58
references are in the devotional. Pick
6:59
up your copy of Victory Decrees on my
7:01
website at jenniferlair.org or wherever
7:04
you find books online. Now, the
7:08
prayer starter and the decree from the
7:11
devotional. Father, draw me close to you
7:14
and never let me go. Don't relax your
7:17
hold on me for a moment. Help me hold
7:20
myself together when the war seems too
7:22
much for me. I decree every enemy
7:26
attempt to break me down is burnt up in
7:29
God's allconsuming fire. I declare even
7:32
if my mother and father forsake me, the
7:35
Lord is with me in Jesus name. Amen. And
7:40
amen. Father, we praise your holy name.
7:44
You are so good. There's no God like
7:47
you, Jesus. You are Yeshua. You are
7:51
Jehovah Rafa. You are Jehovah Ni. You
7:55
are Jehovah.
7:58
Jehovah. You are El Shadai. You are the
8:01
Messiah, the savior, the healer, the
8:05
deliverer, the standby, the advocate,
8:07
the counselor, the comforter, the
8:10
intercessor. We are so grateful that you
8:12
are everything we need and more. You are
8:16
the allsufficient God, needing nothing
8:18
from no one, but you're everything to
8:20
everyone. So we take you at your word
8:22
today and we give you praise and we give
8:25
you glory and we honor your holy name.
8:28
It is holy. Your name is reverent. Your
8:30
name is most high. Your name is
8:32
beautiful. What a beautiful name that
8:34
you carry. The name of Jesus at which
8:37
demons flee. The name of Jesus at which
8:40
uh sickness goes. the name of Jesus by
8:42
which we prosper in all things even as
8:45
our soul prospers. Thank you Jesus.
8:48
Forgive us Lord for all the times when
8:50
we were not grateful when we forgot to
8:53
thank you for what you already did and
8:55
forgot to thank you for what you said
8:57
you'd do. Lord help us to be a thankful
9:00
people. We repent of ingratitude. We
9:03
repent for not being people who express
9:07
our thanks to you night and day, day and
9:09
night. We breathe because of you. We're
9:12
saved because of you. We we we
9:14
everything we have is is because of you.
9:17
It's because of your goodness. It's
9:19
because of the kind intention of your
9:21
will. You are so good. You are a great
9:24
God. You are a mighty God. So we sing
9:27
your praises today. And we thank you
9:30
Lord because you are our alpha and you
9:33
are our omega, the beginning and the
9:36
end. We thank you Lord for you are our
9:39
shield and our buckler. You are our
9:42
defender. Your name is a strong tower.
9:45
Thank you Jesus that you are our strong
9:48
tower. You are the stronger man. No
9:51
demon can defy you and you will not be
9:54
refused. Your will shall come to pass. I
9:56
thank you Lord that your will is kind.
9:59
Your intentions towards us are kind.
10:01
Your plans for us are good. We thank you
10:04
that you are our very present help in
10:07
times of trouble. Oh Lord, when trouble
10:09
comes, when the rain comes, when the
10:11
flood comes, when the hail comes, when
10:14
it beats upon our house, our life, our
10:16
careers, we thank you that you are with
10:18
us to lead us through the storm. We
10:21
thank you that you've given us authority
10:23
to rebuke the winds and the waves. We
10:25
thank you, Lord, that you cause us to
10:27
rise above it. So we glorify your name,
10:30
Jesus, because you are faithful. Even
10:33
when we're not faithful, you're
10:35
faithful. You're faithful to watch over
10:37
your word to perform it. We are so
10:39
grateful that your word will not return
10:41
to you void, but it will prosper in the
10:43
thing that you sent it to do. So we
10:45
choose to send your word. We choose to
10:47
lift up a praise. We choose to release
10:50
our gratitude as a weapon against
10:52
discouragement, against depression,
10:54
against anxiety, against fear. Because
10:57
when we're grateful, we have peace. We
11:01
have joy because we're focused on the
11:03
joygiver, the peacegiver. Oh Jesus,
11:06
thank you so much. Thank you, Holy
11:08
Spirit. Thank you for guiding us,
11:10
leading us into all truth, leading us as
11:13
beside green pastures, beside still
11:16
waters. We thank you. We thank you that
11:18
you are our provider. We thank you that
11:21
you are our source. We thank you that
11:23
you are our sustainer. You are the
11:26
lifter of our head and the lover of our
11:28
soul. We thank you. Thank you, Father,
11:30
that you are a covenant keeping God who
11:33
never breaks his promise. You are not a
11:36
man that you should lie, nor the son of
11:39
man that you should repent. If you said
11:41
a thing, you meant a thing, you'll do a
11:43
thing. It's a done deal. It's forever
11:46
settled in heaven. Your word is
11:56
For we give you praise and honor and
11:58
glory, lifter of our head, restorer of
12:01
our soul. Thank you for your steadfast
12:04
love that never ceases. For your mercies
12:06
are new every day. Your mercies are new
12:09
every day and your grace is sufficient
12:12
for us. And so we thank you. We rejoice
12:15
in you, God, our righteousness. You are
12:18
our peace and you will s and crush Satan
12:20
under your feet. We thank you Lord. We
12:23
thank you Lord. You are our joy. We
12:26
thank you that no weapon formed against
12:28
us shall prosper but every tongue that
12:30
rises up against us in judgment shall be
12:33
condemned. We bless your holy name
12:36
because you've already defeated the
12:38
enemy at the cross. We thank you for the
12:41
work of the cross. We thank you for the
12:43
atonement. We thank you that by your
12:45
stripes we are healed. Thank you Lord
12:48
for arming us with strength for battle,
12:50
for teaching our hands to war. We
12:52
declare victory in every battle because
12:54
you fight for us. The battle belongs to
12:57
you, Jesus. You are our high priest. You
13:00
are our intercessor. You are everything
13:03
to us. And so we run into your name. We
13:06
thank you Lord that the enemy's plans
13:08
against our life are frustrated and
13:10
overturned
13:12
in Jesus' name. We praise you because
13:15
you silence the voice of the accuser
13:17
with your truth that sets us free. We
13:19
thank you Lord for exposing every hidden
13:22
trap of the enemy before we step into
13:25
it. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord.
13:28
Thank you Lord. We glorify your name
13:30
because you are our defender. We glorify
13:33
your name because you are our
13:35
vindicator. We glorify your name Jesus.
13:38
We thank you because we're seated in
13:40
heavenly places with you. Far above
13:42
every principality, far above every
13:45
power, far above the rulers of darkness,
13:48
far above the spiritual wickedness in
13:51
high places. We thank you Lord that
13:53
every plot evil plot against us is
13:56
dismantled, destroyed in the mighty name
13:59
of Jesus. We praise you Lord because our
14:02
worship confuses the enemy. Hallelujah.
14:05
Thank you, Lord, that our thanksgiving
14:07
is a weapon that sends the enemy
14:09
fleeing. Oh, he may have come out as one
14:11
way, but he's got to flee seven ways. I
14:14
glorify you, Lord, because when we lift
14:17
our voice in thanksgiving, you scatter
14:19
our enemies. So, Lord, we thank you. You
14:22
arise. Arise, arise, oh God, and scatter
14:25
our enemies in the name of Jesus. We
14:28
thank you. We thank you that as we
14:30
praise you, chains are breaking in the
14:33
spirit realm. Hallelujah. We thank you,
14:36
Lord. We declare that our worship, oh
14:38
Jesus, it establishes a throne for your
14:41
presence in our lives, in our midst.
14:43
Thank you, Jesus. We thank you, Lord,
14:45
that our thanksgiving uh uh it empowers
14:49
uh uh the the angelic reinforcements to
14:52
war on our behalf because they hearken
14:54
to your word. I thank you, Lord. We
14:56
bless your name because when we praise,
14:59
you inhabit our praises. You inhabit our
15:01
situations. You make the crooked places
15:04
straight. You make the wrong things
15:05
right. Thank you, Jesus. That the enemy
15:08
is rendered powerless when we lift up
15:10
our voice in gratitude.
15:13
We decree and declare that our praises,
15:16
our gratitude paralyzed the forces of
15:18
darkness that have aligned and arrayed
15:21
against us in Jesus' name. We thank you
15:24
Lord that our thanksgiving oh it builds
15:26
a hedge of protection around us and our
15:30
household. Thank you Lord that you are
15:32
the God of the breakthrough and our
15:35
miracle is on the way. We praise you
15:38
Lord because our thanksgiving shifts our
15:40
circumstances. Our circumstances are
15:42
shifting now. As we thank you, as we
15:45
praise you, circumstances shift,
15:48
atmosphere shift in the name of Jesus.
15:50
Problems go, sickness go, demons go in
15:54
Jesus name. We thank you for opening
15:56
doors that no man can shut and shutting
15:58
doors that no man can open. We bless
16:01
your name, Lord, for delivering us from
16:03
the snare of the fowler. Thank you,
16:05
Lord, that our thanksgiving is paving
16:07
the way for supernatural acceleration.
16:11
Thank you, Lord, for every mountain that
16:14
is moving out of the way right now in
16:16
Jesus' name. We thank you Lord that our
16:19
enemies are falling into the pit that
16:21
they dug for us. Hallelujah to the lamb
16:24
of God. Hallelujah to the lamb of God.
16:27
We rejoice in you, God, because you turn
16:29
every curse spoken against us into a
16:32
blessing. We thank you, Lord, that as we
16:35
lift up our voice in gratitude, oh,
16:38
breakthrough is on its way. Oh, we're
16:40
standing at the edge of breakthrough. We
16:42
praise you, Lord, because our testimony
16:44
is being written even in the midst of
16:48
the battle. So, thank you, Lord, for
16:50
hiding us under the shadow of your
16:52
wings. We glorify you, Lord, because you
16:55
surround us with favor like a shield.
16:57
Thank you, Jesus, that your blood covers
17:00
us and keeps the enemy at bay. We
17:02
declare that we are hidden in Christ and
17:05
no weapon of darkness can touch us.
17:08
Hallelujah. Thank you, Father, that our
17:10
family is covered by your divine
17:12
protection. We thank you, Lord, because
17:14
angels encamp around us and deliver us
17:17
from harm. We thank you Jesus that the
17:20
arrows of the enemy cannot penetrate the
17:24
hedge of protection around us.
17:26
Hallelujah. We declare that our dwelling
17:28
place is secure because you are our
17:31
refuge. Thank you Lord that every snare
17:34
of the enemy against our life is broken.
17:38
We bless your holy name because we are
17:40
safe in your hands and no one can snatch
17:43
us out of your hands. Thank you Jesus.
17:45
Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank
17:48
you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for divine
17:50
opportunities that are coming our way.
17:54
Pray. We praise you. We praise you. We
17:56
praise you, Father, for opening doors
17:58
that no man can shut. We thank you,
18:00
Jesus, that you're making a way in the
18:03
wilderness and rivers in the desert.
18:05
Hallelujah. We bless your name, Lord,
18:08
because divine connections are locating
18:10
us. Hallelujah. We thank you, Lord. Her
18:13
favor that surrounds us like a shield is
18:15
making a way for us. And we declare that
18:18
our gratitude is unlocking
18:21
supernatural provision and abundance. We
18:25
thank you Lord that as we give thanks,
18:28
doors of promotion are swinging wide. We
18:31
thank you Lord because every delay is
18:34
turning into a divine acceleration. We
18:37
thank you Lord that that that that that
18:40
you're aligning us with the right people
18:42
at the right time. We glorify you,
18:45
Jesus, because our thanksgiving is
18:48
unlocking supernatural breakthroughs
18:50
even now. Thank you, Lord, that you've
18:52
given us the spirit of power, love, and
18:55
a sound mind. Praise you, Jesus, because
18:58
we are more than conquerors through you.
19:00
We thank you, Lord, for filling us with
19:02
boldness to trample on serpents and
19:04
scorpions, and nothing nothing shall by
19:08
any means harm us. We bless your name,
19:11
Jesus, for the courage to stand firm in
19:14
the spiritual warfare. Thank you, Lord,
19:16
for strengthening our hands for battle
19:18
and our fingers for war. And we declare
19:21
that we shall not be shaken because you,
19:25
Lord, are our firm foundation.
19:28
Hallelujah. We thank you, Lord, that no
19:30
fear shall grip our heart because you
19:33
are with us. Praise be to the living
19:35
God. We praise you, Father, because our
19:37
enemies may come one way. Oh, but men
19:40
got to flee seven ways. Hallelujah to
19:42
the lamb of God, Jesus. Thank you, Lord,
19:45
for anointing us to walk in authority,
19:48
in victory. And we glorify you, Lord,
19:51
because our thanksgiving is unleashing
19:53
divine strength within us. Praise God.
19:57
Thank you, Lord, for every battle is

powers. You've already made an open show
20:09
of them. You've already done it. We

faithfulness. We bless your name, Jesus,
20:37
because every closed door in the past
20:41
was for our protection. We will not cry
20:43
about it, but we're grateful you
20:46
protected us. The rejection was
20:48
protection. Hallelujah. We thank you,
20:51
Father, for the times you fought for us

danger. for all the times you saved our

thank you because you brought us through
21:03
storms that should have taken us out.
21:06
You brought us through trials that
21:07
should have caused us to quit, but we
21:09
leaned into you and you were there. So,
21:12
thank you, Jesus, for breaking chains in
21:14
our life that once held us bound.
21:16
Hallelujah. We praise you, Lord, because
21:19
what the enemy meant for evil, you
21:21
turned out for our good. And we thank
21:24

21:26
speaks a better thing. The blood of

whole and prosperous and delivered and

27:46
You see, did that shift your atmosphere?
27:49
Didn't it? Didn't that shift your
27:52
atmosphere? Did that make you feel
27:53
better? Were you Were you Were you
27:56
tagging along? I'm grateful.
27:59
I want all of you to get into the
28:02
gratitude shift challenge. This is a
28:05
labor of love. It's 30 days to greater
28:08
joy, peace, and intimacy with the Holy
28:12
Spirit. You know, gratitude attracts the
28:15
Lord. He likes that. Remember the
28:17
Israelites in the wilderness? I've been
28:19
reading Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and
28:22
Numbers the past couple of weeks, and
28:24
these Israelites just complained and
28:26
complained and complained and
28:27
complained, and it didn't get them
28:30
anywhere. As a matter of fact, it caused
28:32
them a lot of trouble. And we have to
28:34
understand that ingratitude is very
28:37
sinful, but gratitude is a weapon. So,
28:42
please go check this out. It's available
28:44
for a donation and you can grab a hold
28:46
of it at www.gratitudechallenge.com
28:53
and we're actually going to be praying
28:54
some gratitude prayers next week because
28:56
I feel like it's just that important.
28:59
But you can unleash the power of
29:00
gratitude in your life. So you're going
29:03
to discover it's four hours of teaching
29:07
plus 30 days of challenges. There is no
29:11
way that if you do this challenge and
29:14
actually do it, like not rush through
29:17
it, not multitask in the middle of it,
29:19
but like really set your heart, this
29:20
will literally transform your life.
29:22
Gratitude has the power to transform
29:24
your life. Listen, if you're in faith,
29:26
you're thankful.
29:28
So if you're not thankful,
29:31
[laughter]
29:32
it's indicating that you're not
29:33
believing, you're not expecting, you're
29:36
not appreciative. So, I want you to
29:38
discover how gratitude can strengthen
29:40
your faith, restore your joy.
29:43
What if your depression could be cured
29:45
by gratitude, right? And and deepen your
29:48
fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Join me
29:51
for these 30 days practical challenges.
29:54
One's going to drip out every day
29:56
because I don't want you to skip ahead.
29:58
Amen. I don't want you to skip ahead.
30:00
The teachings are all there immediately.
30:02
But the and I haven't even announced
30:04
this. Uh maybe I have by now. I don't
30:07
know what my team is doing. But anyway,
30:10
practical challenges, powerful biblical
30:12
teaching, declarations, and prayer
30:15
designed to help you develop a lifestyle
30:18
of thanksgiving. Listen, even in
30:20
difficult situations. So, if you want to
30:22
break the the habit of dwelling on
30:23
what's wrong and develop a more
30:26
grateful, peaceful mindset, this is for
30:29
you. If you've been weighed down by
30:31
stress or disappointment or negativity
30:34
and you want to shift your focus back to
30:36
God's goodness, this is this is for you.
30:38
If you've been through a difficult
30:40
season and need help recognizing what
30:42
God is still doing in your life, he's
30:44
still working, this is for you. So, if
30:46
you're ready to make gratitude a daily
30:48
habit that strengthens your faith,
30:51
changes your perspective, and helps you
30:52
enjoy your life again, this is for you.
30:55
And also there's limited time bonuses,
30:57
30 days of gratitude prompts and
30:59
decrees, thanksgiving as a weapon, which
31:02
it is, and a thanksgiving worship set.
31:05
So get in on that. It's all there for
31:07
you. I hope you'll do that. Go make your

donation and then the challenge will

appear in your account just a few
31:13
minutes after that. Get in on it at

31:24
whole life. And I would suggest you get
31:27
a gratitude journal. Just get a notebook
31:28
and just start writing what you're
31:30
thankful for every day before you go to
31:32
bed, too. Uh that would help you sleep.
31:35
Instead of thinking about all the things
31:37
that went wrong, think about all the
31:39
things that are right. Amen. God is good
31:44
all the time. All the time. God is good.
