- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi everyone, welcome back and today we're going to be
- 0:02Speaker 1: talking about how I lost 50 pounds. A big trigger
- 0:05Speaker 1: warning before we start because it's not just for you,
- 0:08Speaker 1: it's for me.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Anytime I talk about weight loss, people come for me.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Truth is, I think all bodies are beautiful, I think
- 0:14Speaker 1: everything is beautiful. The truth is, I was extremely unhealthy.
- 0:18Speaker 1: When I talk about it, I mean I was in hospitals,
- 0:20Speaker 1: I had to like emergency flights home. Like I, I
- 0:24Speaker 1: still am very, very ill. Weight loss is this pesky thing.
- 0:29Speaker 1: We all grew up with the weight loss industry pushing low-cal,
- 0:32Speaker 1: all this kind of stuff at us. We grew up
- 0:34Speaker 1: with those magazines with ultra skinny stars and we all
- 0:37Speaker 1: just wanted to look like them, look like these people
- 0:40Speaker 1: who weren't, what's even the words, possible to look at.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Possible to be.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I remember this episode of That's So Raven, and there
- 0:48Speaker 1: was this one magazine, and there was a model on
- 0:51Speaker 1: the front, and the model's like, hey, I don't even
- 0:53Speaker 1: look like that, because of all the photoshopping and stuff
- 0:55Speaker 1: out there. But for me, losing weight wasn't about glamour. Obviously,
- 1:02Speaker 1: I'm still a big girl.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I'm still, you know, a thick lady.
- 1:07Speaker 1: But I thought, you know, I've made a lot of
- 1:09Speaker 1: healthier choices in my life, and I think it's time
- 1:11Speaker 1: to tell you guys, because They were easy changes that
- 1:14Speaker 1: I made that had really dramatic results. So before TikTok
- 1:17Speaker 1: kind of happened, I didn't really have very much money.
- 1:20Speaker 1: But once it did happen and I started having some money,
- 1:22Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you right now, I like to
- 1:25Speaker 1: reward myself with food.
- 1:26Speaker 2: And that's been dangerous. It's something that I grew up on.
- 1:29Speaker 1: If something good happened, we went out for a nice dinner.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Like, that's normal. That's what normal people do. But unfortunately,
- 1:35Speaker 2: I am not normal. And.
- 1:38Speaker 1: That didn't really work for me. So throughout my life
- 1:42Speaker 1: there were some periods where I was growing up. I
- 1:45Speaker 1: was at a very tricky time in my life. Puberty
- 1:49Speaker 1: and stuff. And I'm going to level with you. I've
- 1:52Speaker 1: never really spoken about this. And it does make me uncomfortable.
- 1:57Speaker 1: But I did have a family member who had a
- 1:58Speaker 1: really big issue with the fact that I didn't look
- 2:02Speaker 1: like other little girls.
- 2:05Speaker 2: And really, you know.
- 2:07Speaker 1: worked hard with me, was very harsh with me on
- 2:10Speaker 1: my body. And I think has, uh, fully been after
- 2:13Speaker 1: talking to counselors and stuff, fully created this, this really
- 2:17Speaker 1: vicious cycle that I have with food.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Um, I, I was just a short pudgy kid. I always,
- 2:24Speaker 2: I always was.
- 2:25Speaker 1: My mom got sick, you know, food was, it was
- 2:27Speaker 1: hard to home cook meals. Like we ate out, I
- 2:30Speaker 1: was a professional swimmer, but after we were done swimming,
- 2:32Speaker 1: we went to Taco Bell or Burger King.
- 2:35Speaker 2: It just is what it is. I was raised on.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Campbell casseroles and stuff like that, but that's fine for
- 2:41Speaker 1: a lot of people. My brother and I grew up
- 2:43Speaker 1: eating the same things, but him and I look very,
- 2:45Speaker 1: very different.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Genetics plays a huge role.
- 2:48Speaker 1: He's tall and skinny and muscular, and I've always been
- 2:51Speaker 1: short and plump. Even when I was swimming three times
- 2:56Speaker 1: a week... I still wasn't slim. I wasn't a slim person.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But this family member of mine, it.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Was bad.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I used to hide food and I'd hide under my
- 3:08Speaker 1: bed and I'd put it in my box spring.
- 3:10Speaker 2: So I was just so hungry all the time.
- 3:13Speaker 1: And I think another crutch was when my mom got sick.
- 3:16Speaker 1: She has multiple sclerosis. She's in a wheelchair full time.
- 3:19Speaker 1: She does not deserve the life. that she was given,
- 3:21Speaker 1: that really hit me. And again, I found comfort in food.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So food has always been a comfort when I've been
- 3:28Speaker 1: going through things. So we're going to fast forward through
- 3:30Speaker 1: all of that. Okay.
- 3:32Speaker 2: All of that to.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Just a couple of years ago, once I had kind of,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you know, gotten a little bit of this fame and
- 3:39Speaker 1: was able to afford more than bread. I was really
- 3:43Speaker 1: rewarding myself with food. I was being able to, you know,
- 3:46Speaker 1: have that sustenance that I, that I hadn't felt like
- 3:49Speaker 1: I was never like super poor. I owned my house,
- 3:52Speaker 1: but I had a really hard time affording anything. We
- 3:54Speaker 1: were super in debt.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It was dark.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And then Adam got sick. And the comfort that I found, again,
- 4:01Speaker 1: was it was in food.
- 4:02Speaker 2: It was in food.
- 4:03Speaker 1: It has always been in food. I have always been
- 4:05Speaker 1: a big girl. I've never had like, oh, when I
- 4:07Speaker 1: was little, I was skinny.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I was healthy.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I've never been her. And I think I kind of
- 4:12Speaker 1: knew that it was going to catch up with me
- 4:13Speaker 1: at some point, but I didn't expect it to happen
- 4:16Speaker 1: so fast. In 2021 is kind of when everything really
- 4:21Speaker 1: started to hit the fan. Two months later, I kind
- 4:24Speaker 1: of went in back to the doctors and I found
- 4:26Speaker 1: out that I didn't have prediabetes.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I had type 2 diabetes, not prediabetic, diabetic.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And then I moved over to find out that I
- 4:35Speaker 1: had dangerously high blood pressure. The first time that I
- 4:39Speaker 1: ever actually realized that I was incredibly, incredibly ill was before.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I went with Sam and Colby.
- 4:46Speaker 1: To go to Eureka Springs to the Crescent Hotel and
- 4:51Speaker 1: we were there and I knew something wasn't right the
- 4:53Speaker 1: night before I could feel it in my body my
- 4:57Speaker 1: heart was pounding really hard I wasn't anxious I wasn't
- 5:00Speaker 1: having bad nerves I wasn't having a bad time like
- 5:03Speaker 1: it was it was an incredible experience and just the
- 5:05Speaker 1: year before I had been with them going around Canada
- 5:08Speaker 1: and I was completely fine But we were at the
- 5:10Speaker 1: Crescent Hotel and I knew something wasn't right. And in
- 5:13Speaker 1: the morning I woke up and I had the worst
- 5:15Speaker 1: headache that I had ever had. And I couldn't stop
- 5:18Speaker 1: throwing up. And I had really bad pain in my
- 5:20Speaker 1: shoulders and in my jaw. And I didn't know what
- 5:23Speaker 1: was happening, but I was not well. Sam and Colby
- 5:26Speaker 1: and Chris were incredible. And they got me on the
- 5:28Speaker 1: next flight home. And it wasn't until I went home,
- 5:32Speaker 1: I got into bed and I was resting. I'd been
- 5:34Speaker 1: resting for half an hour without moving. And I took
- 5:36Speaker 1: my blood pressure and my blood pressure was 190 over 120, which.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Is really, really bad.
- 5:43Speaker 1: So monitoring my blood pressure over a while there, we
- 5:48Speaker 1: found out that it really wasn't going down. My resting
- 5:52Speaker 1: heart rate was probably about 160, 150 over 100, 110,
- 5:56Speaker 1: which is hypertension, which I've learned. So I knew that
- 6:02Speaker 1: some changes had to be made, but I wasn't kind
- 6:05Speaker 1: of being... I'm drastic about it. I ended up going
- 6:09Speaker 1: back with Sam and Colby for Hell Week last year.
- 6:12Speaker 1: We filmed in, I think it was August or September
- 6:15Speaker 1: when we went to the Winchester mansion and my heart
- 6:18Speaker 1: still wasn't in check. I could only go for half
- 6:21Speaker 1: of that because I was going to have the appointment
- 6:22Speaker 1: for my heart. And again, I had that incredible, incredible
- 6:28Speaker 1: spike because I was overexerting myself.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Something that I didn't do at home because I knew
- 6:31Speaker 2: I needed to like really watch what I was doing.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Since then, I'm happy to say that I've been on
- 6:37Speaker 1: blood pressure medication, which has controlled it to a point,
- 6:40Speaker 1: but still not in a healthy range. I tend to
- 6:43Speaker 1: fall between 140 and 120 over 80 to 99, 100,
- 6:50Speaker 1: which isn't great. But the truth is I have diabetes,
- 6:53Speaker 1: so we want to keep that lower. So now I'm
- 6:55Speaker 1: going to get to the good stuff on how I
- 6:59Speaker 1: lost the weight. Because when it came down to it,
- 7:01Speaker 1: I went to an amazing doctor. Um, I was having
- 7:04Speaker 1: a lot of trouble kind of with the healthcare system.
- 7:06Speaker 1: So I finally went to someone, I said, I need,
- 7:09Speaker 1: I need everything. And they did everything. And after doing
- 7:12Speaker 1: all my blood work and stuff, we found out that
- 7:14Speaker 1: I was very, very sick. Um, pretty much this doctor,
- 7:20Speaker 1: amazingly compassionate. And I want to say like, this is,
- 7:22Speaker 1: this was not a fitness person doctor. Like this is,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that's not what this was, but she sat with me
- 7:27Speaker 1: and she just said, you, you have a year to
- 7:29Speaker 1: turn this around. You have a year to turn this
- 7:33Speaker 1: around or else you're going to have long lasting effects
- 7:36Speaker 1: from what's going on with your body. And what it
- 7:39Speaker 1: looked like in the past was if I, weight has
- 7:42Speaker 1: been an issue. My grandmother was the same height as
- 7:45Speaker 1: me and she was 90 pounds and she was very healthy.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And I think that my frame and my organs are
- 7:50Speaker 1: built for someone who is not the size that I am.
- 7:54Speaker 1: So back Eureka Springs times, I was kind of around
- 7:58Speaker 1: my heaviest weight.
- 7:59Speaker 2: You will see me in the picture here. Um, I
- 8:06Speaker 2: was 238, 239 pounds.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Um, and today here I am 189 pounds. Um, and
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm five foot two and a half, if that puts
- 8:18Speaker 1: in perspective. And I really hold, um, my weight in
- 8:22Speaker 1: my stomach six, five farther than my butt.
- 8:23Speaker 2: I'm not going to lie to you guys. Um, which
- 8:26Speaker 2: is also a hard thing.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I have PCOS and It's something that made me insulin resistant,
- 8:31Speaker 1: something that really kind of pushed forward the type 2
- 8:33Speaker 1: diabetes that I do have. Holding the weight here, it
- 8:38Speaker 1: kind of knocked my hormones off. Everything in my body
- 8:41Speaker 1: was completely, completely wrong. So for me, I had a
- 8:46Speaker 1: hard time.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I was doing everything I could to still satiate myself
- 8:50Speaker 2: because I was so hungry. And I know some people
- 8:52Speaker 2: are going to bring up Ozempic.
- 8:55Speaker 1: If you've seen my video here, That was about the
- 9:00Speaker 1: couple months that I was on Ozempic.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I never lost weight on Ozempic. I'm lying.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I lost three pounds on Ozempic. But it was probably
- 9:07Speaker 1: one of the biggest mistakes that I've made in my
- 9:10Speaker 1: health journey for me. For some people, it has worked
- 9:13Speaker 1: absolute wonders. And for them, I am forever happy for you.
- 9:17Speaker 1: For me, possibly because I was ill in so many
- 9:20Speaker 1: other ways, it affected me so negatively that I am
- 9:23Speaker 1: still living.
- 9:24Speaker 2: With the effects of it now.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Um, and I had to go to a counselor who
- 9:29Speaker 1: said that she also has been blown away by the
- 9:32Speaker 1: amount of people who had to start going to counseling
- 9:35Speaker 1: also because of the after effects of Ozempic, which for
- 9:38Speaker 1: me is, um, doom anxiety, life ending doom anxiety that, um,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I get periodically.
- 9:45Speaker 2: It messed with my hormones. Um, that's what Ozempic does.
- 9:48Speaker 2: It affects the hormones in your brain for the most part.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I hormone.
- 9:52Speaker 1: And now with my menstrual cycle, when I get close, I,
- 9:56Speaker 1: I finally found out a name for it a while ago.
- 9:58Speaker 1: It was PMD. Um, I get an anxiety that I
- 10:03Speaker 1: almost like can't live with. So that's kind of been a,
- 10:06Speaker 1: a new thing to tackle.
- 10:07Speaker 2: So not fun.
- 10:08Speaker 1: But, um, for me, I was trying to do everything
- 10:14Speaker 1: I could to satiate the hunger and satiate everything that
- 10:21Speaker 1: I was feeling. And I was, you know, having those
- 10:23Speaker 1: zero sugar stuff, by the way, I'm allergic to caffeine.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I know. So zero sugar drink squeezes, like no sugar added,
- 10:30Speaker 1: like all these things with Xylitol and Stevia and everything
- 10:34Speaker 1: was still messing with me. And it was, it was
- 10:36Speaker 1: making my, my diabetes, um, act very strange. Cause I'm a,
- 10:40Speaker 1: I'm a high sugar person. I don't really have the
- 10:42Speaker 1: hypoglycemia of the low sugars at all.
- 10:45Speaker 2: It wasn't working well. I was I was trying to
- 10:47Speaker 2: eat tons of vegetables. I was eating oats. I was
- 10:50Speaker 2: eating wheats.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I was doing everything that I could and nothing was
- 10:54Speaker 1: working for my body. Nothing was working. Nothing was making
- 10:56Speaker 1: me feel better. Nothing was making me feel more sane.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Nothing was helping me at all. So finally I figured
- 11:04Speaker 1: it out. I started kind of listening to my husband
- 11:06Speaker 1: who had been telling me for years, but of course
- 11:08Speaker 1: I need to hear it from somebody else. But I
- 11:10Speaker 1: started doing a lot of research and there was a
- 11:13Speaker 1: lot of controversy about this because there isn't as much
- 11:16Speaker 1: science But from what I've learned and the people that
- 11:18Speaker 1: I've spoken to, what I have decided to do has
- 11:21Speaker 1: been absolutely life-altering, changing for me. More so than the
- 11:26Speaker 1: fact that I don't... It is so nutrient-based for me
- 11:29Speaker 1: that I no longer crave the sweets. I no longer
- 11:35Speaker 1: crave the things that made me happy. And it's changed
- 11:38Speaker 1: my relationship with food. And that is eating primarily carnivore. So.
- 11:45Speaker 2: for me eating.
- 11:46Speaker 1: A steak or a beef or the fast fry steaks,
- 11:49Speaker 1: which a lot of people are going to come and
- 11:50Speaker 1: say like, this is too much money. There are like
- 11:54Speaker 1: fast fry steaks and stuff that are a dollar something,
- 11:56Speaker 1: $ 2 at, um, the place like buying, you know, really
- 12:00Speaker 1: bulk ground beef and cutting it down and freezing it is,
- 12:03Speaker 1: is a way to really kind of save money towards it.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Cause sometimes like damn meat is, is cheaper than vegetables.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Like I, I understand the struggle of eating healthy, like
- 12:12Speaker 1: when you can get this microwave dinner for a buck,
- 12:15Speaker 1: but you want to buy, you know, some meat and
- 12:17Speaker 1: some this and you're at $ 70, that doesn't make it possible.
- 12:21Speaker 1: But it's more like watching sales and trying to do it.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But I have been eating carnivore for the most part
- 12:28Speaker 1: when I feel super, super hungry. I have some soaked nuts.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I do still, I enjoy greens. Not that they're the
- 12:35Speaker 1: best to go with this diet, but like I'll have
- 12:37Speaker 1: lettuce wrapped taco meat and stuff like that because I
- 12:42Speaker 1: will lose my mind because I need flavor. Adam's incredible.
- 12:46Speaker 1: He can just eat a steak once or twice a
- 12:47Speaker 1: day and be feeling pretty good. But it was crazy
- 12:51Speaker 1: to get used to it. And I felt shitty for
- 12:53Speaker 1: a couple days. But for the first time in my life,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I was full. I was sleeping better. I was waking
- 13:01Speaker 1: up better. My body didn't hurt. And the most incredible
- 13:04Speaker 1: part of all of it is I now have completely
- 13:07Speaker 1: normal blood sugar. I know if I were to eat
- 13:10Speaker 1: something sugar, I probably would spike, but in time that
- 13:13Speaker 1: might not happen. But before it didn't matter what I ate.
- 13:16Speaker 1: If it was like a starchy green, anything that could
- 13:19Speaker 1: turn into sugar in your body was sending me off
- 13:23Speaker 1: the charts. I had the littlest bit of rice and
- 13:26Speaker 1: my sugar shot up to like 17, which is absolutely terrible.
- 13:32Speaker 1: But now when I'm eating meat, and I want to
- 13:35Speaker 1: back it up here because I know people are going
- 13:37Speaker 1: to have a lot of conversations and, and, and want
- 13:40Speaker 1: to say that what I'm doing is wrong. But I,
- 13:42Speaker 1: I ordered a bunch of stuff because again, these are
- 13:44Speaker 1: things I understand that other people can't afford. And I
- 13:48Speaker 1: feel so lucky that I can, but on Amazon for
- 13:50Speaker 1: like $ 35, I, I found these strips that I can
- 13:53Speaker 1: pee on. And it tells me what I'm deficient in,
- 13:55Speaker 1: what I'm doing well in what I'm doing, you know,
- 13:58Speaker 1: all of this stuff. And before I started this diet,
- 14:00Speaker 1: I was deficient in all of these things and too
- 14:03Speaker 1: much of these other things. And once I started, you know,
- 14:07Speaker 1: doing this, this, I don't want to call it a diet.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I don't, I feel like it's, it's like a lifestyle change.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Everything is better. Everything is better. Everything is in the
- 14:18Speaker 1: ranges that it should be in. My blood pressure has
- 14:21Speaker 1: been lower, still not great, but lower. And I know
- 14:25Speaker 1: that the next part of that is like exercising. I
- 14:28Speaker 1: work so much that I find it hard to do it,
- 14:30Speaker 1: but I just need to find the time to strengthen
- 14:34Speaker 1: my heart. But for me, I change it so the
- 14:38Speaker 1: only thing that I drink is water or I'll have tea.
- 14:42Speaker 1: The best tea in the whole world is Cold 911
- 14:44Speaker 1: by David's Tea.
- 14:45Speaker 2: It's incredible.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It doesn't have any caffeine, but I feel like it
- 14:49Speaker 1: gets things moving in my body.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Not only that, TMI, I've never.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Had a solid bowel movement, like never, especially since I
- 14:59Speaker 1: got my gallbladder out. And now my body is starting
- 15:02Speaker 1: to act like normal again. So for me, things started
- 15:05Speaker 1: to really fall off. I've moved in being much more
- 15:09Speaker 1: strict in the past month, and that's where I saw
- 15:12Speaker 1: a really good big change. But I've been trying and
- 15:15Speaker 1: fighting to stay on this diet for about the last
- 15:18Speaker 1: five months, and that's where I've seen a lot of
- 15:20Speaker 1: my body change.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I stopped taking Ozempic in April or May.
- 15:28Speaker 1: That's kind of when I started fighting to be on
- 15:31Speaker 1: this diet, making better choices, only drinking water, sleeping more,
- 15:37Speaker 1: and honestly, finding ways to kind of de-stress a little bit,
- 15:40Speaker 1: taking time for myself. And I've noticed such a change
- 15:43Speaker 1: in my body. So that photo that you saw, I
- 15:46Speaker 1: compare it with this photo. And I know you're probably thinking, well,
- 15:50Speaker 1: your face looks so different.
- 15:52Speaker 2: And I want to be very honest with you. Yes,
- 15:54Speaker 2: I did lose some weight.
- 15:55Speaker 1: The biggest things that I've noticed are my chin. And
- 15:58Speaker 1: I know you're seeing that double chin. You're Used to
- 16:04Speaker 1: go like this. And I would work so hard. I
- 16:08Speaker 1: would work so hard.
- 16:10Speaker 2: To hide it. Or see when I do this. It
- 16:12Speaker 2: used to poof. Like it used to come down. And
- 16:14Speaker 2: then I had a. I had this one. And then
- 16:16Speaker 2: I had a second one. And it would lay on
- 16:18Speaker 2: my chest.
- 16:19Speaker 1: And.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Since then I've. I've stopped snoring. I've stopped. Having so
- 16:23Speaker 2: many issues. But again. This photo.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Boop. Your face looks different. I'm not going to lie
- 16:29Speaker 1: to you guys. I do get Botox. And I do
- 16:32Speaker 1: get fillers. And I'm going to tell you what I
- 16:33Speaker 1: shoot in my face. Okay. Okay. Right now, actually, Botox
- 16:37Speaker 1: is worn out. It really is for the most part.
- 16:40Speaker 1: My lips, they never really went down, so I feel lucky.
- 16:43Speaker 1: That's not an expensive upkeep for me. I probably do
- 16:46Speaker 1: it every four to eight months. Again, something I understand
- 16:50Speaker 1: a lot of people can't afford, but I am one
- 16:53Speaker 1: of those people where.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I do like me.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I did like me, but I wanted to try some
- 16:58Speaker 1: things to see if I could give myself a little
- 17:00Speaker 1: bit more self-confidence. Honestly, it doesn't last forever, so It's
- 17:05Speaker 1: been probably one of the best decisions that I've ever made.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Because it did give me the self-confidence to be more myself.
- 17:16Speaker 2: And I know that's silly.
- 17:17Speaker 1: And that's not a message to teach little kids. But
- 17:21Speaker 1: I waited until I was late in my 20s to
- 17:24Speaker 1: start doing this. And I wouldn't change it for the world.
- 17:27Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what I shoot in my face.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I get stuff here. I get a brow lift. I
- 17:33Speaker 1: actually don't have any crow's feet, but we still do
- 17:35Speaker 1: a shot in there. I get one in my chin
- 17:38Speaker 1: so it doesn't do the dimple-y thing. And then for filler,
- 17:42Speaker 1: I've had filler in my lips. And then like a
- 17:44Speaker 1: year ago, I had filler under my eyes. It's gone
- 17:47Speaker 1: now though. Truth is, I give myself facial massages a lot.
- 17:53Speaker 1: And I really think that's what's changed the shape of
- 17:56Speaker 1: my face. It's like really trying to move things through
- 17:58Speaker 1: the lymph nodes in here. I know this video has
- 18:03Speaker 1: kind of been all over the place, but the truth
- 18:06Speaker 1: is everyone has things that are going to work differently
- 18:09Speaker 1: for them. But I am someone who has tried it all.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I've tried all of it. I've tried every diet, every fad.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I've drank the drinks that make you poop your brains out.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I've done all of them. And I've finally done something
- 18:22Speaker 1: that was so absolutely life-changing for myself that I can't.
- 18:30Speaker 1: not share with you guys. But that is how I
- 18:34Speaker 1: have lost about 50 pounds in the last year and
- 18:37Speaker 1: a half and kind of about my health. I know
- 18:40Speaker 1: I do these sit down videos every once in a while,
- 18:42Speaker 1: but I wouldn't do it unless I thought it was important.
- 18:45Speaker 2: The world is hard. Obesity is a leading killer. I'm obese.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I'm still, it's crazy to lose 50 pounds and still
- 18:55Speaker 1: on the medical chart be considered morbidly obese. Yesterday I
- 19:00Speaker 1: was buying medium and large shirts, which is bananas for me.
- 19:04Speaker 1: And I've never experienced that. But I'm a big girl.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I'll back it up. I don't care.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm not like, like I know you don't have anyone
- 19:14Speaker 1: to put me beside, but I'm still, I'm 189 pounds
- 19:17Speaker 1: and I'm five foot two. So you put me beside
- 19:19Speaker 1: like my best friends or stuff like that. You'd be like,
- 19:21Speaker 1: oh yeah, obviously you're looking at me right now, but.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I'm not well.
- 19:28Speaker 1: And I'm on my journey to being well. I was
- 19:31Speaker 1: really not well. Now I'm just, like, not well. But
- 19:34Speaker 1: hopefully by my birthday, February, I will be able to
- 19:36Speaker 1: say I'm, like, off some medications, which would be so incredible.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Because I just, when you get sick, I'm going to cry.
- 19:50Speaker 1: got so sick in the midst of rising on these
- 19:53Speaker 1: social media platforms and the health anxiety that I live
- 19:58Speaker 1: with is it's incredible like it is life-altering anxiety like
- 20:04Speaker 1: I have to spend so many times a day checking
- 20:06Speaker 1: my blood sugars and checking my blood pressure and Okay,
- 20:10Speaker 1: something's not right. I know this happened when I felt
- 20:12Speaker 1: this way that time. We had to go to the hospital.
- 20:15Speaker 1: It's terrifying. And I just want to create for you guys.
- 20:21Speaker 1: And I want 2024 to be my year. I really
- 20:24Speaker 1: want it to be my year. I want to blow
- 20:27Speaker 1: you guys out of the water. And I just need
- 20:29Speaker 1: to take care of myself to get there. That's kind
- 20:31Speaker 1: of why I've been a little absent on social media.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I've been dealing with a lot of stuff in my
- 20:35Speaker 1: personal life. A lot. And I'm trying to get all
- 20:39Speaker 1: that stuff settled with family and stuff. And I just
- 20:44Speaker 1: really hope that I can really impress you guys in 2024.
- 20:47Speaker 2: If you're not subscribed, subscribe. But I just want to
- 20:53Speaker 2: be a break for you guys. I want you guys
- 20:55Speaker 2: to come and hang out and feel some peace and
- 21:01Speaker 2: some happiness. So I love you. Until next time, you're
- 21:06Speaker 2: beautiful and do what's right for you, okay? Okay. Bye.
