- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things right, Okay, good morning, Welcome to Thursday. Thank
- 0:05Speaker 1: you for starting yours with us. Ricky Sanchez has those
- 0:08Speaker 1: three things.
- 0:09Speaker 2: We Go Public Transit has resumed regular weekday operations as
- 0:13Speaker 2: of yesterday. This is the first time since the winter
- 0:15Speaker 2: storm hit that regular service has been available. We Go
- 0:19Speaker 2: Star Star Shuttle, we Go Access and Access on Demand
- 0:22Speaker 2: also returned to normal operation as of yesterday, which is
- 0:27Speaker 2: good news because we can take all the good news
- 0:29Speaker 2: we can get right now with the amount of people
- 0:31Speaker 2: who are still without power and the fact that the
- 0:33Speaker 2: roads still I see in some areas. Anyway, Teddy Swims
- 0:38Speaker 2: will perform at the Super Bowl tailgate concert. The show
- 0:41Speaker 2: will happen outside Levi Stadium in Santa Clara and will
- 0:45Speaker 2: also air on one hundred and twenty iHeart stations and
- 0:47Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio app so you can actually hear it on iHeart.
- 0:51Speaker 2: And the concert is huge because obviously they just keep
- 0:54Speaker 2: adding more and more people to the Super Bowl lineup.
- 0:57Speaker 2: As of right now, it includes Green Day at the opening,
- 0:59Speaker 2: Stones Cremony, Bad Bunny at halftime, and there's going to
- 1:02Speaker 2: be a bunch of pregame performances from Charlie Pooth, Brandy
- 1:05Speaker 2: Carlisle and Coco Jones, which is really awesome. Bay Area
- 1:09Speaker 2: rapper Larrussell is also going to open the show and
- 1:12Speaker 2: serve as the Inn Stadium house band as well, which
- 1:15Speaker 2: is really cool. The Super Bowl is happening between the
- 1:17Speaker 2: Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots on Sunday, February eighth.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I personally am rooting for the Seahawks the Patriots. The Patriots,
- 1:27Speaker 2: I despise, despise. I'm a Jets fan, but Kevin I
- 1:31Speaker 2: hate the Patriots. And Sweethearts conversation hearts, those little hearts
- 1:37Speaker 2: that have little words on them that you know, have
- 1:40Speaker 2: been around forever since before I was born. They have
- 1:44Speaker 2: new phrases for twenty twenty six, and they're going to
- 1:46Speaker 2: frugal route this time. They constantly update them to keep them,
- 1:50Speaker 2: you know, hit with what's going on, and now it's
- 1:52Speaker 2: all about frugal phrases. So a lot of people are
- 1:56Speaker 2: obviously struggling with the economy right now and dating has
- 1:59Speaker 2: become harder and harder. So the brand added phrases like split, rent, carpool,
- 2:05Speaker 2: and buy in bulk on their little hearts this year,
- 2:08Speaker 2: so you can find those this year in stores for
- 2:11Speaker 2: Valentine's Day. If you're on a tight budget and you're
- 2:14Speaker 2: dating somebody, you can give them to them. Okayricky Sanchez,
- 2:18Speaker 2: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Not even a little bit romantic. Buy in bulk, because
- 2:22Speaker 1: that's not a romantic.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I think that's very romantic.
- 2:24Speaker 3: You think it is.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. If AJ came home and said, I
- 2:28Speaker 2: bought your favorite snack in bulk, ooh, that is a
- 2:32Speaker 2: romance at its finest.
- 2:34Speaker 3: All right, Okay, you convinced me. I get it. I
- 2:37Speaker 3: have a Valentine's Day.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Ricky, Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Lauren Spencer Smith is at the Ryeman February fourth, which
- 2:46Speaker 2: is next week. I can't believe it's about to be February.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Thank god. This has been seventy five years of January.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Lauren Spencer Smith. Though, we got tickets for you to
- 2:54Speaker 2: go see her. If you are the first color of
- 2:56Speaker 2: the day on one of seven five the River six.
- 2:58Speaker 1: One five, seven, three seven nine one oh seven, you
- 3:01Speaker 1: get these tickets and a little small talk with Ricky,
- 3:03Speaker 1: Zach and Mano in the morning. We'll see how your
- 3:06Speaker 1: week has been, how you've been making it through the
- 3:08Speaker 1: weather storms.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Talking to your next first.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Collars, Ricky, is Zach and Mano in the morning on
- 3:16Speaker 2: Jason and Murphy's Borough. Welcome to one O seven five
- 3:18Speaker 2: the River. How are you doing you and your family
- 3:22Speaker 2: with the cold weather that's happening right now.
- 3:24Speaker 5: We didn't lose power, it's been a little cold with it, Lois.
- 3:29Speaker 5: That's got in our house was about sixty five Okay,
- 3:31Speaker 5: now we're back now.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Well that's good man, lucky one of the lucky ones.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been rough out there.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Uh.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I just I can't believe that there are still so
- 3:41Speaker 2: many people without power right now.
- 3:44Speaker 5: First this year, thanks thanks.
- 3:46Speaker 2: And uh you said that you you're right now being
- 3:48Speaker 2: very quiet because you're in your house and everybody's asleep
- 3:51Speaker 2: and you're trying to make sure that everything is good
- 3:53Speaker 2: in the cars with the h you said, the based
- 3:56Speaker 2: like for your babies the car seats.
- 3:58Speaker 6: Yeah, how many kids?
- 4:00Speaker 5: Mm hmm, Well that it's just too I have I
- 4:03Speaker 5: do have five total.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Oh, but in that in the house and you're currently.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Too yeah, just too at the moment, he sion.
- 4:10Speaker 7: You've been a busy man, my friend, my goodness, hey man.
- 4:18Speaker 6: Right now, sorry, were.
- 4:20Speaker 5: I feel like we're treating the lotter, you know a lot.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I know Jason's like whispering, so it makes me you
- 4:28Speaker 2: want to like whisper, not be very loud as if
- 4:31Speaker 2: like my voice would wake anybody up.
- 4:33Speaker 5: I am out of the house. Now I'm getting my car.
- 4:36Speaker 3: There we go a little louder.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Hey, you're the first callar today, so we're gonna give
- 4:40Speaker 1: a ticket to see Lauren Spencer Smith at the Ryman.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Awesome, that's fantastic man.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Congratulations, the show is next week. It's gonna be a
- 4:48Speaker 2: lot of fun. Take take some time away from the kids,
- 4:52Speaker 2: you know, make sure you get a babysitter.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Yes, for sure, we've been much time needed. She knew
- 4:58Speaker 5: us from seven seven months old.
- 4:59Speaker 7: So oh man, okay, just give the tickets to your
- 5:02Speaker 7: wife and let her have like a girl's night out.
- 5:04Speaker 6: She needs away from you.
- 5:05Speaker 7: Two.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, don't no, no, no, I'll work two jobs.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I don't.
- 5:10Speaker 6: Hey, that's fair.
- 5:12Speaker 2: That was actually really sweet that you want to spend
- 5:14Speaker 2: time with her. You sound like a good man, Jason,
- 5:16Speaker 2: Thank you. Anything on the line. Okay, we got to
- 5:19Speaker 2: get your info. Sack what Kevin so he wants everyone
- 5:23Speaker 2: to break up.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Wore of Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning, and
- 5:26Speaker 1: you're coming at him.
- 5:27Speaker 6: I wasn't coming at him.
- 5:28Speaker 7: I'm just saying she had a baby seven months ago
- 5:30Speaker 7: and has to be mom full time.
- 5:32Speaker 6: She needs a break.
- 5:33Speaker 2: She does need a break, as does Jason.
- 5:36Speaker 6: Yeah, she needs one from him.
- 5:37Speaker 2: The dad needs some love. Sometimes sometimes is the key
- 5:42Speaker 2: word there.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Praise us more tickets for Laurence Spender Smith same time tomorrow.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Ricky is, Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
- 5:52Speaker 2: It's been a rough one in Middle Tennessee.
- 5:54Speaker 7: Guys.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It's one oh seven five the river. There are still
- 5:58Speaker 2: so many people without power right now, over one hundred
- 6:01Speaker 2: thousand customers across Middle Tennessee who still don't have power.
- 6:04Speaker 2: It's freezing cold. Zach is one of them. Zach hasn't
- 6:07Speaker 2: had power since what Sunday.
- 6:09Speaker 7: Sunday morning at five forty seven am, to be precise,
- 6:12Speaker 7: It's been over five days now no power.
- 6:15Speaker 2: You've been lucky enough to stay with a friend.
- 6:18Speaker 7: I will say, I'm very, very grateful that we have
- 6:20Speaker 7: a friend here at work that is letting me stay
- 6:22Speaker 7: at her apartment. She has a guest bedroom, so it's
- 6:24Speaker 7: me and my boyfriend, my two dogs. We basically moved
- 6:26Speaker 7: into her apartment and I'm like, thank you, Yeah, two
- 6:29Speaker 7: golden retrievers said they're like seventy pound dogs. They're not
- 6:32Speaker 7: small things. Very thankful that she's like giving us a nice,
- 6:35Speaker 7: warm place to stay in, like a kitchen that we
- 6:37Speaker 7: can use to cook in, so we're safe and warm.
- 6:40Speaker 6: We're good. But today the we are going to a
- 6:44Speaker 6: hotel tonight.
- 6:45Speaker 7: I just feel like, at some point, you run your
- 6:47Speaker 7: course of staying at somebody's house for way too long
- 6:50Speaker 7: on my true five days, I feel like, you probably
- 6:53Speaker 7: want your space back. She's not said anything about it,
- 6:55Speaker 7: but I'm like, you probably want your space back. It's
- 6:57Speaker 7: got to be overwhelming to have all of it here
- 7:00Speaker 7: all of the time because we have nothing else to do.
- 7:03Speaker 7: So tonight we are going to a hotel, change of scenery.
- 7:06Speaker 7: Let's see how the dogs do first time in a hotel.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I think they're gonna be okay, they'll be all right,
- 7:11Speaker 2: And obviously it's nice to have that as an option.
- 7:14Speaker 7: Yeah, I will say again, feel very grateful for that option,
- 7:17Speaker 7: because there's a lot of families that that's not an
- 7:19Speaker 7: option for to be able to go to a hotel
- 7:21Speaker 7: and you got an.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Update yesterday on power, then when you were going to
- 7:24Speaker 2: get power again, and this is beyond I'm frustrated for
- 7:27Speaker 2: you and for everyone because this is insane.
- 7:29Speaker 7: Yeah, So we originally got a text from NES saying, oh,
- 7:32Speaker 7: your power is back on, so we went to our
- 7:34Speaker 7: house and checked on it.
- 7:35Speaker 6: No power on my street.
- 7:37Speaker 7: There's literally two streets in my neighborhood that don't have power,
- 7:39Speaker 7: and it's my street and the one next to us.
- 7:42Speaker 6: So I was like, what is going on?
- 7:44Speaker 7: So we like talk to the NS people that were
- 7:46Speaker 7: out there actively working and they said the new update
- 7:50Speaker 7: for our street is February sixth, so next friday until
- 7:54Speaker 7: we have it's over our week to the house.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Just insane.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got friends in Green Hills, my old neighborhood,
- 8:00Speaker 1: that they're still looking at over two weeks out is
- 8:03Speaker 1: what they're told until power comes back. I know that
- 8:05Speaker 1: everybody's working as hard as humanly possible, but this is
- 8:09Speaker 1: I don't know, that's very taxing for anybody affected.
- 8:12Speaker 7: Yeah, at some point it starts to take like a
- 8:13Speaker 7: mental toll. I'm just exhausted and want to be at
- 8:16Speaker 7: home in MySpace, But again, very grateful that we have
- 8:20Speaker 7: what we're able to do, save with a friend, go
- 8:22Speaker 7: to a hotel. We're safe for warm. There's a lot
- 8:24Speaker 7: of families that are not as lucky, and that just
- 8:27Speaker 7: breaks my heart.
- 8:28Speaker 2: A lot of the elderly. I keep thinking about the
- 8:29Speaker 2: elderly and people who have you know, newborn babies or
- 8:34Speaker 2: little babies, like it's just it's insane that this is
- 8:37Speaker 2: still going on. I'm sorry, Zach.
- 8:40Speaker 6: We'll get through a babes and I'm sorry.
- 8:41Speaker 2: For everybody else out there who doesn't have power right now.
- 8:44Speaker 2: It's so hard to because it's like there's nothing that
- 8:46Speaker 2: we can do really yeah, like.
- 8:48Speaker 7: I can't go out and fix the electricity or else
- 8:50Speaker 7: I would.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Right, So it's just it's a very frustrating time.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Right now, we can continue to spread the word about
- 8:54Speaker 1: community events and different things happening.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Which is what we are going to continue to do
- 8:59Speaker 2: obviously throughout this entire time. So a few things for
- 9:02Speaker 2: you guys to make a note if you don't have power.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Brown's Diner they haven't been able to open due to
- 9:08Speaker 2: power outages in storm weather, so they announced yesterday that
- 9:11Speaker 2: they're going to do a parking lot cookout today from
- 9:13Speaker 2: eleven am to three pm. They said they'll have hot
- 9:16Speaker 2: dogs and hamburgers for free for everyone. Donations are appreciated.
- 9:20Speaker 2: It's going to go right to their staff because their
- 9:21Speaker 2: staff hasn't been able to work all week. This is
- 9:24Speaker 2: obviously another impact of this is that businesses can open
- 9:27Speaker 2: and nobody can get to them, and a lot of
- 9:30Speaker 2: places are in areas where it's still ice. There are
- 9:32Speaker 2: still roads that have ice on them right now, so
- 9:35Speaker 2: it's making it really difficult for everybody to operate and
- 9:38Speaker 2: to make money in order to pay their bills and
- 9:40Speaker 2: stuff like that. Ed Lee's Barbecue is giving out free
- 9:43Speaker 2: pork barbecue sandwiches until everyone gets power back in Middle Tennessee.
- 9:47Speaker 2: So they're offering up free Wi Fi inside. So they said,
- 9:50Speaker 2: you know, if you need to get warm, you need
- 9:51Speaker 2: to get some stuff done. They have free Wi Fi
- 9:54Speaker 2: and they have sandwiches for anyone who needs it, which
- 9:57Speaker 2: is really amazing. There's going to be obviously a lot
- 10:00Speaker 2: more that's announced. Please follow us at one O seven
- 10:03Speaker 2: five the River. We've been trying our hardest to post
- 10:06Speaker 2: every single thing happening, all the places that are opening,
- 10:09Speaker 2: all the places doing community events. Like this. We've been
- 10:11Speaker 2: trying to repost onto our stories and repost onto our
- 10:14Speaker 2: feed so that you know what's happening, as well as
- 10:16Speaker 2: keeping you updated on air here on one of seven
- 10:18Speaker 2: five the River.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Thank you for those updates, Ricky, stay strong, Zach and
- 10:22Speaker 1: everybody else that is still still dealing with it.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Three things you need to know all right, friends.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Just after seven o'clock here on this Thursday morning, thank
- 10:30Speaker 1: you for starting your day with us. We always appreciate
- 10:32Speaker 1: that Ricky Sanchez has was three things.
- 10:34Speaker 2: We're getting more snow this weekend. This is obviously not
- 10:38Speaker 2: the forecast that anybody wants to hear right now, especially
- 10:41Speaker 2: with all the power outages throughout Middle Tennessee, but unfortunately
- 10:45Speaker 2: that's where we're at right now. There's a chance of
- 10:47Speaker 2: light snow tomorrow and to Saturday and another burst of
- 10:50Speaker 2: very cold weather. This is gonna be a little rough,
- 10:54Speaker 2: but the one positive is that it's snow and it's
- 10:56Speaker 2: not ice, so we're looking at just regular snow, not ice.
- 11:00Speaker 2: It'll hopefully warm up and melt everything, because this is
- 11:04Speaker 2: just it's been a rough week for everybody here in
- 11:06Speaker 2: Middle Tennessee, and we are thinking about you every single day,
- 11:10Speaker 2: So if you don't have power, we do have a
- 11:12Speaker 2: lot of resources for you up at one of seven
- 11:14Speaker 2: five of the River's Instagram account and on our Facebook
- 11:16Speaker 2: so you can follow us there. We've been updating you
- 11:18Speaker 2: with different places you can go to stay warm. There
- 11:21Speaker 2: are warming shelters for you to go to as well,
- 11:23Speaker 2: but we're trying to do our best to make sure
- 11:25Speaker 2: that you are as comfortable as you can while this
- 11:28Speaker 2: insanity is happening. Ariana Grande is going to reissue tickets
- 11:33Speaker 2: for her mini tour on Ticketmaster. She posted the announcement
- 11:36Speaker 2: that next month, Ticketmaster is going to reissue a pool
- 11:39Speaker 2: of Eternal Sunshine Tour tickets. After the initial sale in October,
- 11:44Speaker 2: there were a lot of things that went wrong, so
- 11:47Speaker 2: Ticketmaster went back and found a lot of bad actors
- 11:49Speaker 2: that violated their ticket purchase terms, so those tickets were avoided,
- 11:54Speaker 2: but a chunk of them were already resold on the
- 11:56Speaker 2: secondary market, which made it a little hard for them.
- 11:59Speaker 2: And obviously this is a huge issue for Ticketmaster and
- 12:01Speaker 2: there are a lot of artists that are speaking out
- 12:03Speaker 2: about it, Ariana Grande being one of them. So Ticketmasters
- 12:06Speaker 2: said that they're going to prioritize fans who did nothing
- 12:09Speaker 2: wrong but had their resale tickets canceled, so you're gonna
- 12:13Speaker 2: expect next month for them to put them back on
- 12:16Speaker 2: the market for you to buy. The Eternal Sunshine Tour
- 12:18Speaker 2: is doing nine stops in America plus London and Montreal
- 12:23Speaker 2: from June through Labor Day weekend. It is a mini
- 12:25Speaker 2: tour that she is doing. Hines the Ketchup brand. They're
- 12:29Speaker 2: making a keg of Ketchup. Oh what they're calling it
- 12:33Speaker 2: keg Chup. It's about two feet tall. It's a keg
- 12:37Speaker 2: that's about two feet tall. It holds a ridiculous mount
- 12:40Speaker 2: amount of one hundred and fourteen ounces of ketchup that
- 12:44Speaker 2: comes right out of a spigot, which is absolutely insane.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Fans lost their minds over a teaser that they posted
- 12:51Speaker 2: on Instagram last fall, so they decided, you know what,
- 12:53Speaker 2: everybody loves this so much, might as well make it real.
- 12:56Speaker 2: So you could try to win one through Instagram giveaways
- 12:58Speaker 2: now if you're obsessed with this idea, or you can
- 13:01Speaker 2: sign up for early access because it's gonna go on
- 13:03Speaker 2: sale later this year. You can buy ke what's.
- 13:07Speaker 3: The point is it?
- 13:08Speaker 4: For?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Like a massive party because ketchup is not gonna stay good.
- 13:11Speaker 3: For too long.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I guess a massive party. I don't really know. I
- 13:16Speaker 2: hate ketchup, so I have no idea why I never
- 13:18Speaker 2: want to buy that.
- 13:19Speaker 6: I feel like, if you're like a refaant owner, that's brilliant.
- 13:22Speaker 7: You can buy a big old keg of it and
- 13:23Speaker 7: people come walk up and pump around.
- 13:25Speaker 6: Ketchup brilliant, not.
- 13:27Speaker 2: A terrible idea.
- 13:28Speaker 3: You're right, Zack, And those are the three things.
- 13:32Speaker 2: You're speaking right now, because we're like, Wow, okay, that
- 13:35Speaker 2: does make sense.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Has never happened before. Thank you, Ricky, Good job, Zach.
- 13:40Speaker 1: We've got more from Zach right after. On top of this,
- 13:43Speaker 1: after mut it's time for Zax Facts.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Lass is in Sessions Sacks Fact on one River.
- 13:50Speaker 7: So I know a lot of us are still dealing
- 13:51Speaker 7: with it being so extremely cold outside. I found this
- 13:54Speaker 7: would be so interesting. But did you know that like
- 13:57Speaker 7: what you eat can actually make you warmer. So if
- 13:59Speaker 7: you eat more of a high protein diet than it
- 14:01Speaker 7: can actually make you warmer inside because it's harder for
- 14:04Speaker 7: your body to digest, so your body is working harder
- 14:06Speaker 7: and it'll keep you warmer for longer.
- 14:08Speaker 1: If you like a piece of cardboard or something that's
- 14:10Speaker 1: probably real hard for your body to digest.
- 14:12Speaker 6: I mean sounds like a lot of fiber to me.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I think you're gonna have some issues later. Please don't
- 14:16Speaker 2: do that.
- 14:17Speaker 7: Get you a big it says chicken beef for pork
- 14:20Speaker 7: require a lot more energy to break down, generating heat.
- 14:23Speaker 6: So eat a lot of protein and you'll be warm.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Good to know.
- 14:27Speaker 1: There's your fact of the day and is the resident vegetarian.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I have to say there's plenty of protein in.
- 14:31Speaker 3: The vegetables as well. And a mommy and a mammy
- 14:34Speaker 3: tofu black beans.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Thank you, Zach, you got to bring it up every
- 14:37Speaker 2: time you like people that.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Cross Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning checking.
- 14:46Speaker 3: In on you.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It's been a devastating week in Nashville. Sadly, so many
- 14:50Speaker 1: people still without power, without heat. I mean, we're doing
- 14:53Speaker 1: our best to stay on top of all the you know,
- 14:56Speaker 1: the ways to help the community, resources for you, but
- 14:59Speaker 1: really just hoping the us for everybody.
- 15:01Speaker 3: In this community.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Yeah, So if you want to check in with us,
- 15:03Speaker 2: let us know how you're doing, how your neighborhood is doing,
- 15:06Speaker 2: you could always call us six one five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 15:10Speaker 2: one oh seven. There are a lot of things happening
- 15:12Speaker 2: in the community right now to help out those without power,
- 15:15Speaker 2: who can't have a hot meal, who can't get warm.
- 15:19Speaker 2: The Equity Alliance is doing Feed the Block today at
- 15:22Speaker 2: two pm at Andrew Jackson Homes in Nashville. They're going
- 15:25Speaker 2: to be sharing meals and community together.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Uh.
- 15:28Speaker 2: There's Chain Sauce for Jesus, which is a nonprofit that
- 15:31Speaker 2: provides equipment, mint and maintenance. So if you are volunteering
- 15:36Speaker 2: to offer with cleanup, there's a lot of cleanup that
- 15:39Speaker 2: needs to happen around Middle Tennessee with all of the
- 15:42Speaker 2: different trees that are down right now. They'll sharpen your
- 15:45Speaker 2: chain saws for free.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Not to take away anyway from that because that's incredible,
- 15:48Speaker 1: but do you know if they have merchant I know, a.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Change Sauce for Jesus. I agree, it's a great it's
- 15:54Speaker 2: a great phrase. Uh. They're doing it at Attractive Supply
- 15:58Speaker 2: parking Lot in Franklin, So you can go out there
- 16:00Speaker 2: and get your chainsaws nice and sharpened for free, because,
- 16:04Speaker 2: like I said, a lot of that is needed right now.
- 16:05Speaker 2: There's so many trees down. Yesterday, I saw in the
- 16:08Speaker 2: gulch on Eleventh Avenue. There every tree was essentially down.
- 16:12Speaker 2: It's really scary, and they just started to clean them up.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yesterday afternoon is when they were starting to kind of
- 16:17Speaker 2: cut them down and get rid of them.
- 16:19Speaker 3: So I realize how many people have chainsaws. You know,
- 16:22Speaker 3: how often you see somebody's chainsaw.
- 16:24Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know if you want to see
- 16:26Speaker 2: someone's chainsaw like Kevin. But there are a lot of
- 16:29Speaker 2: things happening. We are continuously updating on one of seven
- 16:32Speaker 2: five the River's Instagram accounts so that you can keep
- 16:35Speaker 2: up with all the local businesses that are opening. Please
- 16:37Speaker 2: support small right now. They're really struggling obviously, almost a
- 16:41Speaker 2: full week of not being able to be open. A
- 16:44Speaker 2: lot of the waitresses and waiters and bartenders are all
- 16:48Speaker 2: going to be struggling because there was tips exactly. So
- 16:51Speaker 2: please support local if you can, because it's very important
- 16:54Speaker 2: to make sure that these businesses stay running.
- 16:56Speaker 7: I also do want to say if you don't have
- 16:58Speaker 7: like a way to cook warm food, or if you
- 17:00Speaker 7: don't have the funds to go purchase anything, they are
- 17:03Speaker 7: doing free food trucks at the Metro Warming shelters, So
- 17:06Speaker 7: like at the Nashville Fairgrounds, the Southeast Community Center in
- 17:09Speaker 7: Antioch and Madison Community Center.
- 17:11Speaker 6: They are doing free dinner tonight from five to seven.
- 17:14Speaker 7: You just show up, grab free food and that way
- 17:16Speaker 7: you have a nice warm belly and a place to
- 17:18Speaker 7: go and see other people and take care of yourself
- 17:21Speaker 7: and your family.
- 17:21Speaker 1: And this might not apply to you, but you probably
- 17:24Speaker 1: know somebody that could use the help, So please spread
- 17:26Speaker 1: the word. And again, our instagram is a great resource.
- 17:28Speaker 1: At one oh seven five the River, we put a
- 17:30Speaker 1: bunch of this information up there.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the River.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Hope you ready to play sure Thing. That's the name
- 17:39Speaker 2: of Kevin Manno's game of the Day, presented by Genesis
- 17:42Speaker 2: Diamonds on one oh seven five the River. It's called
- 17:44Speaker 2: short Thing because we got tickets to Miguel so it
- 17:46Speaker 2: kind of makes sense.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Yeah, because we play hits and short Thing. He's going
- 17:49Speaker 1: to be at the Ryeman February eleventh. If you missed
- 17:52Speaker 1: the game yesterday, we'll explain it to you next. But
- 17:55Speaker 1: it's quite possibly the easiest game we have ever played.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Six one, five, three, seven, nine, one oh seven. If
- 18:01Speaker 1: you want to do it, if you want to go
- 18:02Speaker 1: see Miguel call us. We're playing next down the River one.
- 18:05Speaker 4: O seven the River, Ricky Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Gil is going to be at the Ryeman in February eleventh.
- 18:12Speaker 2: You can be there too. If you win Kevin Mano's
- 18:15Speaker 2: Game of the Day on one O seven five the River.
- 18:17Speaker 2: We got tickets to see him. Obviously. This game is
- 18:20Speaker 2: called shore Thing also obviously because of Miguel.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and because it's a very easy game, it's pretty
- 18:26Speaker 1: much a sure thing that you're gonna win the tickets.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Let's say good morning to Daniella and Lebanon. How you
- 18:30Speaker 3: doing you We're good, We're good. Tell us about your week.
- 18:34Speaker 1: How have you been handling the storm?
- 18:38Speaker 2: I'm trapped in the house with three kids, but I
- 18:41Speaker 2: finally got out yesterday for the first time.
- 18:43Speaker 6: Oh thank goodness. You need at the time.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 18:47Speaker 3: What are the ages of the kids?
- 18:49Speaker 2: Ten, nine, and two?
- 18:52Speaker 1: Okay, well, the ten and nine year old can help
- 18:53Speaker 1: with the two year old, you would think, so, okay,
- 18:56Speaker 1: maybe no, that.
- 18:57Speaker 7: Was shade right there yet these.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Kids, hopefully, you know, things are gonna get better. Obviously
- 19:05Speaker 2: with school clothes it's a little rough, but there's a
- 19:07Speaker 2: possibility that you get another break on February eleventh if
- 19:10Speaker 2: you win this game.
- 19:11Speaker 6: Awesome.
- 19:12Speaker 3: All right, here we go, Daniella.
- 19:14Speaker 1: You gotta get three out of five of these questions
- 19:16Speaker 1: right to win the tickets.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Game starts right now, Daniella.
- 19:25Speaker 3: What's your favorite movie?
- 19:29Speaker 2: I like Titanic?
- 19:31Speaker 3: Alright, strong starts, Strong start.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I just watched Titanic again recently. It holds up forever
- 19:39Speaker 2: and always.
- 19:40Speaker 6: I've never seen that watch.
- 19:43Speaker 7: I've never watched it, Daniella. We'll have to watch it together.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I'm for sure.
- 19:50Speaker 5: Strong.
- 19:51Speaker 3: All right, you got a point.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Question number two, Daniella, is your ideal vacation relaxing or adventurous?
- 19:59Speaker 5: Relax?
- 20:00Speaker 2: Think for sure, that's my day, she said, I got
- 20:02Speaker 2: three kids. We need to relax on vacation.
- 20:05Speaker 6: It cuts her on the beach.
- 20:06Speaker 3: You're crushing this. Here we go.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You get this right, you win, Daniello. Your personal preference
- 20:11Speaker 1: coffee or tea?
- 20:14Speaker 5: Coffee?
- 20:14Speaker 7: Hey, dan Yellow, with those three kids, how many cups
- 20:23Speaker 7: of coffee do you have a day?
- 20:25Speaker 2: About three?
- 20:28Speaker 1: The idea here is that you know, nobody needs more
- 20:31Speaker 1: stress this week, so we just want to make it nice.
- 20:33Speaker 1: And simple and easy, and you want you're going to
- 20:35Speaker 1: see Miguel.
- 20:35Speaker 3: At the Ryman.
- 20:36Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 20:38Speaker 2: You didn't hesitate at all. That's great on your part.
- 20:41Speaker 2: You're getting take us to see Miguel at the Rhyman
- 20:44Speaker 2: of February eleventh. Thank you, guys. Hang on the line, love,
- 20:49Speaker 2: We just got to get some info from you, Okay,
- 20:51Speaker 2: thank you, Zach.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I feel like I know a lot about you, and
- 20:54Speaker 1: I know you don't. You know you're not up to
- 20:55Speaker 1: date on all the current movies. But Titanic.
- 20:58Speaker 6: I don't know that I can debt hate that much
- 21:00Speaker 6: time to watch it. It's just so long, I'll fall asleep.
- 21:03Speaker 2: No you won't, Yeah, no you won't. I promise you.
- 21:06Speaker 3: It's so good, and you can watch it increments, watch
- 21:08Speaker 3: an hour today.
- 21:08Speaker 7: I feel like I've just heard so many people talk
- 21:10Speaker 7: about it that I already know what happened. What's the
- 21:12Speaker 7: point of me watching it? The sink goes down, the
- 21:14Speaker 7: sink on the door.
- 21:15Speaker 3: I mean that I don't know anything about it. The
- 21:18Speaker 3: boat Saints was on the.
- 21:19Speaker 6: Door, Jack Dies Kevin.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Remember how it came in two different cassettes?
- 21:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, like doubles. It was too much for one VHS.
- 21:27Speaker 2: So long, two different vhs.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Three things you need to know, all right, just after
- 21:34Speaker 1: eight o'clock here on this Thursday morning, Ricky Sanchez has
- 21:38Speaker 1: those three things.
- 21:39Speaker 2: So I have an update on power outages in Middle
- 21:42Speaker 2: Tennessee and E S is now reporting a little over
- 21:45Speaker 2: ninety thousand customers without power. Middle Tennessee Electric is reporting
- 21:49Speaker 2: fourteen customers without power.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Dixon Electrics I said fourteen was at fourteen thou fourteen
- 21:54Speaker 1: fourteen customers.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Oh, yep, they're really they're getting to it. Dixon Electric
- 21:59Speaker 2: reports over twenty seven hundred customers. Try County Electric reports
- 22:03Speaker 2: around seventy eight hundred customers without electricity, so they're working
- 22:06Speaker 2: on it. Please continue to check on your neighbors if
- 22:09Speaker 2: you can. This is a really hard time for a
- 22:11Speaker 2: lot of Middle Tennessee right now. It's cold. A lot
- 22:14Speaker 2: of you haven't had powers in days, which is just insane.
- 22:17Speaker 2: We're getting snow this weekend and another cold front, so
- 22:20Speaker 2: it's it's rough right now. Warming shelters are open across
- 22:23Speaker 2: Middle Tennessee if you're in the Metro National area. They're
- 22:27Speaker 2: also offering rides to the shelters, so you can call
- 22:29Speaker 2: six one five four zero one seventeen twelve. That's six
- 22:33Speaker 2: one five four zero one seventeen twelve to get a
- 22:37Speaker 2: ride to the shelters. And I just want to say
- 22:39Speaker 2: that when this is all over, let your representatives know
- 22:43Speaker 2: how this storm impacted you and tell them that something
- 22:45Speaker 2: needs to change with how we operate during snow and
- 22:48Speaker 2: ice storms, because the snow and ice storms are not
- 22:50Speaker 2: stopping in Tennessee. This has been happening the last five
- 22:54Speaker 2: years that I'm here. We get snow and we get ice,
- 22:56Speaker 2: and we need better ways of handling how these things happen.
- 23:00Speaker 2: So when this is all over, or even now, if
- 23:02Speaker 2: you got power and you're good, let your representatives know
- 23:04Speaker 2: how this has impacted you and your neighbors, because that's
- 23:08Speaker 2: the one hope for change is if they come up
- 23:10Speaker 2: with better plans for these situations. Noah Khan announced his
- 23:14Speaker 2: fourth album. He made a post on social media yesterday
- 23:17Speaker 2: announcing that we can expect his fourth album, The Great Divide,
- 23:21Speaker 2: on April twenty fourth, So mark your calendars. He's back.
- 23:25Speaker 2: He's actually back starting this Friday, because that's when the
- 23:27Speaker 2: first single off his album called The Great Divide is
- 23:30Speaker 2: coming out. So everyone's obviously looking really forward to some
- 23:33Speaker 2: new Noacon. We can't wait. So, like I said, April
- 23:36Speaker 2: twenty fourth is the day we get it all and
- 23:39Speaker 2: Absolute and Tabasco have teamed up for a spicy new vodka.
- 23:43Speaker 2: It's rolling out more than fifty markets starting next month.
- 23:46Speaker 2: They said it's perfect for drinks like Bloody Mary's or
- 23:49Speaker 2: even spicy lemonades, which I've never thought about, but a
- 23:53Speaker 2: spicy lemonade sounds delightful right now.
- 23:56Speaker 6: Spicy is a.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Big trend for drinks and a lot of alcohol that
- 24:00Speaker 2: believe it's only going to continue to grow in the
- 24:02Speaker 2: coming years, So expect more spicy versions of different alcoholic
- 24:05Speaker 2: beverages coming out more and more. I'm Ricky Sanchez and
- 24:09Speaker 2: those are the three things you need to know.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Why would you do that to us?
- 24:11Speaker 5: Ricky?
- 24:12Speaker 2: Does it a spicy lemonade sound amazing?
- 24:14Speaker 3: Twenty nine days into Dry January, it all sounds amazing.
- 24:17Speaker 2: We're so close.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Are you doing Dry January? It's Ricky, Zach and Mano
- 24:25Speaker 2: in the morning on one oh seven five of the River.
- 24:27Speaker 2: We all three of us are doing Dry January this year.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I did it last year. I survived the entire month
- 24:34Speaker 2: until the last day and then gave up.
- 24:37Speaker 6: You were so close.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I was very close, very very close, and we all
- 24:41Speaker 2: decided that we were going to do it kind of together,
- 24:42Speaker 2: and we've been supporting each other through the month of
- 24:45Speaker 2: getting through dry January.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I know there are a lot of people we lasted
- 24:48Speaker 1: this long, A lot of people out there that don't drink,
- 24:49Speaker 1: people that are sober, people that just drink, you know,
- 24:52Speaker 1: once every six months or something.
- 24:53Speaker 3: But we are a morning show that likes to drink.
- 24:56Speaker 6: We like to party.
- 24:58Speaker 2: You dabble in the alcoholic beverages.
- 25:00Speaker 1: And maybe that's not the best thing for us, but
- 25:02Speaker 1: I wasn't sure that all three of us would be
- 25:03Speaker 1: able to to, you.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Know, hang on as long as we have. And I'm
- 25:06Speaker 3: super proud of us.
- 25:07Speaker 6: I'm genuinely impressed.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, especially living through what we've lived through
- 25:11Speaker 1: the last month.
- 25:12Speaker 3: There's been a lot going on.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's I think the biggest thing is there's been
- 25:16Speaker 2: a lot happening, and we've made it. Guys, We're almost there.
- 25:21Speaker 2: We're almost there.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Here's my burning question that I was gonna ask you, guys.
- 25:24Speaker 1: You ready, You're ready Sunday is February. First, what's the
- 25:27Speaker 1: first thing you're gonna drink.
- 25:30Speaker 2: That's a great question because Zach and I have already
- 25:32Speaker 2: said that we're going to brunch on the.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Town.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Yes, we're gonna do mimosas, and I think that's gonna
- 25:40Speaker 2: be our first drink, although I really want a dirty martini,
- 25:44Speaker 2: dirty martini, bhilthy dirty Martini.
- 25:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Okay, so I think Zach and I know what we're
- 25:52Speaker 2: having for brunch.
- 25:53Speaker 3: That's a heck of a brunch drink.
- 25:56Speaker 6: Well, the Sunday's gonna be a fun day, baby.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Going right into the deep end immediately, apparently, Kevin answer
- 26:01Speaker 2: your own.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Question, Well, I'm looking for I'm a tequila guys, So
- 26:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna try to wait until the end
- 26:06Speaker 1: of the day when the Grammy's are on Sunday night,
- 26:08Speaker 1: and I'm gonna really really turn the Grammy's into a
- 26:10Speaker 1: party of my house.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Okay, love that for you again, And just.
- 26:16Speaker 1: To say, I mean, I am proud of us, but
- 26:18Speaker 1: it's been the least fun month of my life.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the four of Us Here.
- 26:26Speaker 2: At Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning are doing
- 26:28Speaker 2: dry January. We've talked about it a little bit here
- 26:31Speaker 2: on one oh seventy five of the River, but not much.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I think we don't want to dwell too much on
- 26:34Speaker 2: it until the end.
- 26:35Speaker 6: Yeah, we want to celebrate at the end, right.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Because we're so closed. So now we're talking about it.
- 26:40Speaker 2: We're almost done with dry January. We got Lily and
- 26:42Speaker 2: Gildblitsville on the line. Good morning, Lily morning. You're doing
- 26:45Speaker 2: dry January two right.
- 26:47Speaker 8: Okay, that's actually not even about me. My daughter is
- 26:50Speaker 8: on a hockey team. I always tell people if you're
- 26:52Speaker 8: trying to find the dad, just go to the bar,
- 26:55Speaker 8: because they keep those in all of our hockey. Right now,
- 26:58Speaker 8: one of the dads is doing dry January, or he
- 27:01Speaker 8: was doing dry January. One of the dads was sitting
- 27:08Speaker 8: at the bar and he was drinking a regular soda
- 27:11Speaker 8: and I was like, that's clear. You have the heaviest
- 27:14Speaker 8: drinker we have. He said, I'm doing dry January and
- 27:18Speaker 8: I actually succeeded last year. Halfway into February. I was like, oh,
- 27:22Speaker 8: I'm so proud of you. I find him an hour later,
- 27:26Speaker 8: double fisting beer.
- 27:27Speaker 5: Oh, I said, sir, what happened?
- 27:31Speaker 4: To dry January.
- 27:32Speaker 8: He goes, I set a thirty minute car ride with
- 27:35Speaker 8: one of the other hockey moms. You would want to
- 27:39Speaker 8: drink too. I said, well, I guess since you made
- 27:43Speaker 8: it halfway through February, you only needed to make it
- 27:45Speaker 8: through half of January this year. And he goes, that
- 27:48Speaker 8: is a good point.
- 27:49Speaker 5: I like that.
- 27:50Speaker 6: That is what we call girl math right through.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Everybody's got apparently it's a hockey Yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 4: Do you know?
- 28:03Speaker 3: Do you know this other mom?
- 28:04Speaker 7: I do?
- 28:05Speaker 3: And I was sads.
- 28:12Speaker 7: All we needed sounds like there's so much drama happening
- 28:15Speaker 7: at the hockey rin to the next game, because I
- 28:18Speaker 7: want to watch all of this go down in real time.
- 28:20Speaker 8: When we're in Saint Louis last weekend or the weekend
- 28:24Speaker 8: before the parents are over there threatening the ref life.
- 28:29Speaker 8: I'm here for it, do I'm like, I probably said
- 28:32Speaker 8: meet me in the parking lot after this once or
- 28:34Speaker 8: twice to a rest because my daughter got slammed.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I'm going to say, I'm from the North. I'm from Jersey,
- 28:39Speaker 2: New York. That's how we do things. So I related,
- 28:42Speaker 2: I did it meet me outside?
- 28:44Speaker 7: How about that?
- 28:46Speaker 8: With my kids?
- 28:47Speaker 3: I feel like she's actually challenging Ricky to a fight. Lily,
- 28:50Speaker 3: thank you for calling. We appreciate you listening.
- 28:54Speaker 8: A good day to.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 29:01Speaker 2: If you remember my Space, then the daily double tap
- 29:04Speaker 2: that we're going to play for you on one of
- 29:05Speaker 2: seven five of the River is going to hit you
- 29:08Speaker 2: in your fields and also make you go, oh, maybe
- 29:11Speaker 2: this is actually real.
- 29:12Speaker 6: Yeah, it's fair.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Hm, it's a good question. Here we go Today's daily
- 29:15Speaker 3: double tap.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Whatever you put on the Internet is there forever? Is
- 29:18Speaker 2: that watching you put on there? Where's my MySpace? Where
- 29:24Speaker 2: is it? Because I want to go look at it?
- 29:26Speaker 2: Where's my MySpace?
- 29:27Speaker 3: I'm with her. I am totally with her.
- 29:29Speaker 7: I feel like I would be so embarrassed if I
- 29:31Speaker 7: went back and like my face and see what I
- 29:33Speaker 7: was posting and doing.
- 29:34Speaker 6: I do not want to see that now.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I mean, what types of posts for you guys posting?
- 29:38Speaker 1: Was it just like the cryptic stuff or were you uh,
- 29:41Speaker 1: probably always beefing with somebody.
- 29:43Speaker 6: That was definitely Ricky.
- 29:46Speaker 2: I'm just being attacked right now.
- 29:48Speaker 7: I'm just saying like, whenever I get like a pop
- 29:50Speaker 7: up on my timeline on Facebook, I was posting the
- 29:53Speaker 7: dumbest sayings of.
- 29:53Speaker 6: Like what a good day to have a Saturday? The
- 29:56Speaker 6: sun is shining. I'm like, who posts that on social media?
