Speaker 2: Oh, I think it's a little over three years now.
• 0:41
Speaker 3: And home base for you is Rapid City, South Dakota?
• 0:45
Speaker 2: Yep, I do a lot of shows at the West
• 0:47
Speaker 2: River Comedy Club here in Rapid.
• 0:50
Speaker 1: And that is a fun little place. So, folks, if
• 0:52
Speaker 1: you're ever in the Black Hills, be sure to stop
• 0:54
Speaker 1: in and check out the West River Comedy Club. That
• 0:56
Speaker 1: is in Rapid City, South Dakota. And again, Travis is
• 0:59
Speaker 1: on his way to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He's going
• 1:02
Speaker 1: to be at Billy Frog's tonight. Have you done comedy
• 1:05
Speaker 1: in Sioux Falls before?
• 1:06
Speaker 2: I've done one of my buddies, Rob. He used to
• 1:10
Speaker 2: live here in Rapid, and he moved down to Sioux Falls.
• 1:14
Speaker 2: So I've done an open mic with him down there,
• 1:17
Speaker 2: but no real shows yet. until tonight.
• 1:22
Speaker 1: Yes, tonight at Billy Frogs. And Rob, who you just mentioned,
• 1:25
Speaker 1: will be opening for you tonight and tomorrow night. So folks,
• 1:29
Speaker 1: if you get a chance, come on out, have some
• 1:30
Speaker 1: fun tonight. I encourage you to get to Billy Frogs
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: at about 7, so you'll have a table and a
• 1:35
Speaker 1: really good place to sit. But the show starts at 7.30.
• 1:38
Speaker 1: And then tomorrow, same thing, doors open tomorrow at 7
• 1:41
Speaker 1: o'clock at the Grain Bin. That's the back room of
• 1:44
Speaker 1: the Red Eye. And we open the doors at 7.00.
• 1:46

• 2:01
Speaker 1: everything we can to give you more funny for less money.

Speaker 1: And again, one of our comics on the line with
• 2:07
Speaker 1: us right now, Travis, will be performing tonight and tomorrow night.
• 2:10
Speaker 1: And Travis Larson, how do you describe your style of
• 2:13
Speaker 1: humor for somebody that hasn't had a chance to see
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: you before?
• 2:16
Speaker 2: It's definitely not clean. I would say leave the kids
• 2:20
Speaker 2: with a sitter if you're coming out. But I try
• 2:23
Speaker 2: to have fun and be as relatable as I can
• 2:27
Speaker 2: with all the weird things that happen in my life,
• 2:29
  Speaker 2: I guess.
• 2:31
Speaker 1: Well, I've heard very good things, and I'm excited for
• 2:33
Speaker 1: people to get a chance to see you tonight at
• 2:35
Speaker 1: Billy Frog, 7.30 tonight. Tomorrow night at the Grain Men,
• 2:38
Speaker 1: that's the back room of the Red Eye, again, 7.30
• 2:40

Speaker 1: right now at SiouxFallsComedy.com. Now, let's talk about your inspiration
• 2:53
Speaker 1: when it comes to stand-up comics. Is there somebody that
• 2:56
Speaker 1: you would say is maybe somebody you really look up
• 2:58
Speaker 1: to and find quite humorous?
• 3:00
Speaker 2: Well, I'd honestly say I've been watching Dave Chappelle since
• 3:05
Speaker 2: way before I should have been watching Dave Chappelle. But
• 3:08
Speaker 2: I think I think he's one of the greatest to
• 3:11
Speaker 2: do it. And he's really inspired me to to get
• 3:14
Speaker 2: out there and give it a give it a shot.
• 3:16
Speaker 3: That's awesome. So, Travis, what led to you becoming a
• 3:18
  Speaker 3: stand-up comedian?
• 3:19
Speaker 1: How in the world did you decide, I'm going to
• 3:20
Speaker 1: get on stage and tell some jokes?
• 3:23
Speaker 2: It was actually, I was at an open mic in Rapid,
• 3:26
Speaker 2: and one of my good friends actually just peer pressured
• 3:29
Speaker 2: me to get on stage. And after that first time,
• 3:33
Speaker 2: I just couldn't get enough of it. It was just
• 3:36
Speaker 2: such a good time interacting with the crowd and hearing
• 3:39
Speaker 2: everybody laugh and have a good time and kind of
• 3:42
Speaker 2: fell in love with it.
• 3:43
Speaker 1: We are excited to have you in Sioux Falls, South
• 3:45
Speaker 1: Dakota tonight. Again, folks, if you get there at about
• 3:48

• 3:50
Speaker 1: and be all set and ready to go. The show
• 3:52

• 3:56
Speaker 1: where you'll find Billy Frog's. Again, a free show tonight.

• 4:26
Speaker 1: that you will see on stage tonight. Rob Moe is
• 4:28
