Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is this. Is Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:26
September 7th, 2023. And yeah, I am going to say Max
• 0:34
Scherzer is done like, stick a fork in him, done.
• 0:40
Like that's his days of dominance are over.
• 0:43
That was pathetic yesterday. And I'm not just saying that
• 0:47
because I lost my bet. I'm saying that because it's
• 0:51
just objectively true. So yes, lost my bet yesterday.
• 0:57
Wager didn't hit, but that's Okay.
• 0:59
You know why? Because today we got football.
• 1:04
Like real football. Football that counts.
• 1:08
Regular season opening night on NBC?
• 1:14
Awesome. All right, so we got the Chiefs
• 1:19
and we got the Lions. Now everybody knows these teams
• 1:24
are good. Both teams, well, some people
• 1:27
don't know that Detroit's actually good.
• 1:30
They're not great, but they're good.
• 1:32
And I think they're coming in tonight, they're going to be
• 1:34
hyped and I think they're going to keep it close.
• 1:37
They're getting five points and I'm just the sucker dumb enough
• 1:43
to bet against the Chiefs in Week 1.
• 1:45
So that's what I'm going to do. So I'm going to go Lions plus
• 1:49
five against the Chiefs. And tonight's NFL opening game?
• 1:54
Awesomeness. Say anything better than that?
• 1:56
Pound it? That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 1:58
to it. Don't forget to rate, review,
