• 3:28
Speaker 4: Good morning, and welcome to the show.
• 3:30
Speaker 5: Good morning, Thanks for having me, Thank.
• 3:32
Speaker 4: You for being here. You always come here with big
• 3:34
Speaker 4: news for us. And of course last time you hear
• 3:37
Speaker 4: you dropped the announcement here on the show that Chicago
• 3:40
Speaker 4: was coming in concert, and we'll get to that coming
• 3:43
Speaker 4: up a little bit later on. Appreciate that. But you're
• 3:45
Speaker 4: here now, got the drum rolls and all the stuff
• 3:48
Speaker 4: go because you have got a big announcement about a
• 3:50
Speaker 4: big show that families are going to love.
• 3:53
Speaker 6: Yep, whether you've got younger ones at home, grandkids, nieces
• 3:56
Speaker 6: and nephews, or you're a kid at heart, you will
• 3:59
Speaker 6: be three and over the moon to know that this
• 4:02
Speaker 6: summer we are bringing Blue Eat back to Charleston for
• 4:06
Speaker 6: two nights July twenty eighth and twenty ninth, both.
• 4:09
Speaker 5: Shows at six pm. It's the running show that they've had.
• 4:15
Speaker 6: They've brought in new elements though, and it's always me
• 4:18
Speaker 6: having a young one. We watch Blue Ee every morning
• 4:21
Speaker 6: and read a blue book every night we're going to sleep.
• 4:23
Speaker 5: So it's gonna be one of.
• 4:24
Speaker 6: Those shows that definitely sells quick and the kids are
• 4:27
  Speaker 6: going to love.
• 4:28
Speaker 4: And one of the dates again.
• 4:30
Speaker 5: July twenty eighth and twenty ninth.
• 4:31
Speaker 4: Okay, so explain this whole because again I don't have kids,
• 4:35
Speaker 4: and if I got on here and I talked about
• 4:37
Speaker 4: how great Blue he was, people would think it was
• 4:39
Speaker 4: just weird. Okay, all right, But I know in talking
• 4:41
Speaker 4: to Dale Cooper, you know, the boss, that he's got
• 4:45
Speaker 4: a young one and they're all about So explain the
• 4:47
Speaker 4: whole blue phenomenon to those of us that don't know,
• 4:50
  Speaker 4: I think what.
• 4:50
Speaker 6: Truly makes it special is that it provides such a
• 4:53
Speaker 6: realistic look at what it's like to be a kid
• 4:56
Speaker 6: as well as to be a parent, and it does
• 4:59
Speaker 6: it in such a fun and interactive way. And I
• 5:02
Speaker 6: mean I know that I love and I'm always inspired,
• 5:04
Speaker 6: but by how the parents and Bluie are interacting with
• 5:08
Speaker 6: their kids, how they get really involved into the imagination
• 5:11
Speaker 6: and the creativity. I mean, even something as simple as
• 5:15
Speaker 6: you know, playing the game keep Yuppie where you have
• 5:17
Speaker 6: a balloon and you just have to keep it in
• 5:18
Speaker 6: the air and you know, you go out of your
• 5:20
Speaker 6: way and make obstacles.
• 5:21
Speaker 5: It's just it makes the.
• 5:23
Speaker 6: Simple things feel big and grand and fun, and it's
• 5:27
Speaker 6: just it's truly magical.
• 5:28
Speaker 4: Now, how long has Blue been around.
• 5:31
Speaker 5: Well, Blue's been around for quite a few years now.
• 5:33
Speaker 6: I mean one of the things that was special is
• 5:35
Speaker 6: I believe that it started to come out during COVID.
• 5:39
Speaker 6: It was a family down in Australia who they were
• 5:43
Speaker 6: in the house with their kids and you know, we're like,
• 5:46
Speaker 6: what can we do? And so they came up with
• 5:48
Speaker 6: this concept of Blue and it has really taken off.
• 5:51
Speaker 6: It's probably the number one show on Disney.
• 5:54
Speaker 4: Is that where it is? I was going to ask
• 5:55
Speaker 4: you this. It is on Disney, but I have seen
• 5:56
Speaker 4: a lot of the merchandise, because you know, you can't
• 5:59
Speaker 4: be a true bona fide kids star kids, you know,
• 6:02
Speaker 4: cartoon or whatever if you don't have the merchandise and
• 6:04
Speaker 4: you walk into your local store, you see blue stuff there.
• 6:06
Speaker 4: I do know that much.
• 6:07
Speaker 5: Oh yeah, Blue is everywhere. I can confirm.
• 6:10
Speaker 6: I have three different variation sizes of blue stuffed animals
• 6:13
Speaker 6: in my house that talk and sing and.
• 6:16
Speaker 4: Well it's a good thing to have kids.
• 6:18
Speaker 5: Oh those are mine.
• 6:20
Speaker 4: Okay, all right, So Bluey's come in July twenty eighth
• 6:23
Speaker 4: and twenty nine nine, and tickets will go on sale.
• 6:25
Speaker 6: Tickets will go on sale to Clay and Remembers on
• 6:27
Speaker 6: Wednesday at ten am and then on Friday to the
• 6:30
Speaker 6: public at ten am.
• 6:31
Speaker 4: And this is going to be a huge, huge, So
• 6:32
Speaker 4: how many times has Blue you been here?
• 6:34
Speaker 6: Last time we had Blue was in fall of twenty
• 6:36
Speaker 6: twenty four, and the tickets for that show sold out
• 6:39
Speaker 6: in about three or four days.
• 6:41
  Speaker 4: Okay, we were.
• 6:42
Speaker 6: Able to get them back for two nights, so we
• 6:44
Speaker 6: can get as many families in as possible.
• 6:45
Speaker 4: So plan on getting there and getting your tickets again
• 6:48
Speaker 4: when they go on sale. All right, So last time
• 6:50
Speaker 4: you're here, we talked about the Chicago show. I know
• 6:53
Speaker 4: that a couple of our sister stations here have been
• 6:55
Speaker 4: give it away tickets to that tickets are still going
• 6:58
Speaker 4: really really well for that, I understand.
• 7:00
Speaker 6: Yeah, we have been moving out the ying yang with
• 7:04
Speaker 6: ticket sales for Chicago. I can tell you that we're,
• 7:07
Speaker 6: you know, in that last stretch. You know, I'd say
• 7:10
Speaker 6: easily two thirds of the tickets are sold, which you know,
• 7:12
Speaker 6: having tickets go on sale and Bianzi on the first
• 7:14
Speaker 6: two weeks and having that type of movement is phenomenal.
• 7:17
Speaker 6: We expect to be a sold out show. So it's
• 7:19
Speaker 6: one of those that definitely want to get your tickets
• 7:22
Speaker 6: sooner rather than later. And I know they have a
• 7:24
Speaker 6: lot of VIP options, and you know, some VIP shows
• 7:27
Speaker 6: are you know, simple meet and greets or you get
• 7:28
Speaker 6: a picture, but the VIPs for Chicago are extremely extensive
• 7:32
Speaker 6: and there's very few of those left. So if that's
• 7:33
Speaker 6: something that you are considering, I would definitely make that
• 7:35
Speaker 6: decision sooner rather than later.
• 7:37
Speaker 4: Talking with Taylor gew again from Clay Center of Dave
• 7:39
Speaker 4: Allen Show and five ATY Live, brought to you in
• 7:40
Speaker 4: part by your hometown baseball team, The Charles The Dirty
• 7:43
Speaker 4: Birds getting ready for the upcoming season, Your season tickets,
• 7:45
Speaker 4: merchandise and more waiting for you at Dirtybirds Baseball dot com.
• 7:49
Speaker 4: Of course, it is spring break, I think understand for
• 7:51
Speaker 4: students in Kanawa County this week. Anything going on at
• 7:54
  Speaker 4: Clay Center.
• 7:55
Speaker 6: For yes, Yes, we've got lots of special activities. One
• 7:57
Speaker 6: of the ones that's probably my favorite is down on
• 8:00
Speaker 6: our lower level in the back room of mind.
• 8:02
Speaker 5: Tell me this space called maker Space.
• 8:05
Speaker 6: We've got all these hands on activities and three D printing,
• 8:07
Speaker 6: And one of the things we're doing is we have
• 8:10
Speaker 6: these three D printed three D dinosaurs, so you.
• 8:13
  Speaker 5: Can make this.
• 8:14
Speaker 6: It's about a twelve inch by twelve inch tarodactyl that
• 8:18
Speaker 6: you can hang from your ceiling. You can do three
• 8:21
Speaker 6: printed ornaments, laser cutting, a lot of really really cool
• 8:25
Speaker 6: hands on things and that's only going to be happening
• 8:27
Speaker 6: this week for spring break. So if that's something if
• 8:29
Speaker 6: you're looking for something fun to do, a nice little
• 8:31
Speaker 6: take home, it's definitely something you should consider.
• 8:33
Speaker 4: We were talking about Blue. You had a text here Taylor.
• 8:36
Speaker 4: It said Dollar Tree has lots of blue and Bingo
• 8:38
Speaker 4: theme products, not just toys, but kitchen and bath merchandise
• 8:41
Speaker 4: as well, which just goes to show you the power
• 8:42
Speaker 4: of blue. I guess right.
• 8:43
Speaker 6: I mean I would be surprised if there's not bluey
• 8:46
Speaker 6: laundry detergent and you know, bluey hair clips and blue shoes.
• 8:51
Speaker 4: You know, if we can make money on it, and
• 8:53
Speaker 4: you know my motto abs always be selling, So somebody,
• 8:56
Speaker 4: somebody's going to be making a lot of money and
• 8:58
Speaker 4: they already have been. What else do you got going on.
• 8:59
Speaker 6: To clays Well, I can say that if you haven't
• 9:02
Speaker 6: a chance to come and see our Wildcraft's Traveling Exhibit,
• 9:05
Speaker 6: I would recommend you come. On Saturday, March twenty first,
• 9:09
Speaker 6: we are going to be having an Ocean Family Fun Day,
• 9:11
Speaker 6: so we're partnering once again with West Virginia Public Broadcasting.
• 9:14
Speaker 6: They're going to be there giving out a lot of
• 9:16
  Speaker 6: Wildcrafts activities.
• 9:17
Speaker 5: We're going to have a lot of ocean themed activities.
• 9:20
Speaker 6: The event sponsor, which is Smart five to nine, is
• 9:22
Speaker 6: going to be there providing a lot of educational resources,
• 9:25
Speaker 6: so there is it's going to be a full jam
• 9:28
Speaker 6: pack day with kids being able to do a lot
• 9:31
Speaker 6: of crafts and activities.
• 9:32
Speaker 4: All right. Now, there's always something going on at the
• 9:34
Speaker 4: Clay Center. And now as we think you talk, we
• 9:36
Speaker 4: talked about this last time you were here. Now that
• 9:38
Speaker 4: we're starting to get out of the cold weather months,
• 9:40
Speaker 4: at least to a certain extent, people are going to
• 9:43
Speaker 4: want to get out. They're going to want to go somewhere.
• 9:45
Speaker 4: I know a lot of families took advantage of stuff
• 9:48
Speaker 4: that you had because of the winter, because you had
• 9:50
Speaker 4: things that you could do indoors. But knowing the weather
• 9:51
Speaker 4: warms up and we all know of me, people want
• 9:53
Speaker 4: to get out and they want to go do stuff.
• 9:54
Speaker 4: And there's always great stuff going on to the Clay Center.
• 9:56
Speaker 6: Always fun things going on between Planetarium filmed and shows,
• 10:01
  Speaker 6: Discovery cards.
• 10:02
Speaker 5: I mean, it's never end to get the Clay Center.
• 10:04
Speaker 4: All right. So let's go back and recamp the big
• 10:06
Speaker 4: announcement that you broke on this show. And I appreciate
• 10:09
Speaker 4: that Blue is back by popular demand. July twenty eighth
• 10:12
Speaker 4: and twenty ninth, tot Clay Center. Talk about it again.
• 10:14
Speaker 6: That is right, twenty eighth and twenty ninth, Blue is
• 10:16
Speaker 6: going to be coming Blue's big play. Both shows will
• 10:19
Speaker 6: be at six pm, and just like we've done with
• 10:21
Speaker 6: some of our last family focused shows, the Clay Center
• 10:24
Speaker 6: will stay open prior to the show for those families
• 10:27
Speaker 6: who have tickets, so you can come early, let your
• 10:29
Speaker 6: kids run around in the museum, get a little energy
• 10:32
Speaker 6: out before going in and taking your seats to take
• 10:34
Speaker 6: in the spectacular show of Blue.
• 10:35
Speaker 4: All right, Taylor, Taylor, do you from the Clay Center.
• 10:38
Speaker 4: We'll have you on again real soon. Because every time
• 10:40
Speaker 4: that you get in touch with us here, you say
• 10:41

Speaker 4: an honor. Thank you very much.

• 15:12
Speaker 4: one k wus up real early, Good morning.
• 15:15
  Speaker 10: Robert, good morning. It's it's a it's a long walk
• 15:18
Speaker 10: from my studio to yours. Yes, yes, as we get old.
• 15:22
Speaker 4: As we get old as we get Naomi Bays is
• 15:25
Speaker 4: here as well for West the Roses West Side Neighborhood Association.
• 15:28
Speaker 4: She had to sit in on a conversation between us
• 15:31
Speaker 4: earlier when we were talking about what we watched as kids.
• 15:34
Speaker 4: We were talking about they made the announcement that Blue
• 15:36
Speaker 4: He's coming to the Clay Center, and of course I
• 15:38
Speaker 4: had to. I mean, I've heard of Blue, but I
• 15:40
Speaker 4: don't have kids, so it'd be really weird if I said, oh,
• 15:42
Speaker 4: have you seen episode three?
• 15:45
Speaker 10: I don't know, but the TVD commentary, yes, it's the best.
• 15:49
Speaker 4: So what I did was is Rob and I were
• 15:52
Speaker 4: talking about things we watched and growing up, and I
• 15:54
Speaker 4: said I didn't even watch kids shows when I was
• 15:56
Speaker 4: a kid and you and you looked at me and said,
• 15:58
Speaker 4: Naomi went, what's wrong with you? But it's not. I
• 16:01
Speaker 4: mean I was never what happened whatever the current thing.
• 16:05
Speaker 4: Like I was a kid in the seventies, I did
• 16:06
Speaker 4: not watch Sesame Street. I didn't watch an Electric Company
• 16:09
Speaker 4: or I was aware of it. I was more interested
• 16:11
Speaker 4: in watching the news. I was watching the news. I
• 16:14
Speaker 4: was watching, but I was watching. I did watch a
• 16:17
Speaker 4: lot of the classic sitcoms, you know which Some of
• 16:19
Speaker 4: them weren't they were new at the time. But I
• 16:23
Speaker 4: did like the Warner Brothers stuff, the Bugs, Money and
• 16:26
Speaker 4: all that other because I mean, that's basically cartoons made
• 16:28
Speaker 4: for adults anyway. They weren't made for kids. They were
• 16:30
Speaker 4: made for adults exactly.
• 16:31
Speaker 10: I think Naomi just stumbled across the title of your
• 16:33
Speaker 10: upcoming memoir, What's wrong with You?
• 16:36
Speaker 4: Do you know how many people have said that in
• 16:38
Speaker 4: my fifty five years, including the woman I'm married to
• 16:41
Speaker 4: on a daily basis. All right, Naomi, basis your why
• 16:44
Speaker 4: said Neighborhood Asociation, Rob real, We're getting ready for dad
• 16:47
Speaker 4: jokes coming up on the twenty first, first, right, and
• 16:51
Speaker 4: give us the wins and the wares.
• 16:52
Speaker 2: All right, we are having a dad joke comedy battle
• 16:55
Speaker 2: to benefit the West Side Neighborhood Association. It'll be at
• 16:58
Speaker 2: the Capitol Theater at one Summer Street, March twenty first,
• 17:02
Speaker 2: Doors open at five, show begins at sick.
• 17:05
Speaker 4: And you got this guy to be your MC, I understand.
• 17:07
Speaker 2: We managed to snag him again for a second year.
• 17:10
  Speaker 2: It was crazy.
• 17:11
Speaker 4: It was so much fun last year.
• 17:12
Speaker 10: Yeah, I've been jokingly calling it the second almost annual
• 17:16
Speaker 10: because we did it in June last year, and the
• 17:20
Speaker 10: smart ladies who were in charge of this thing were like,
• 17:22
Speaker 10: let's let's move it up to March and take advantage
• 17:24
Speaker 10: of a better open date. And I'm like, I'm your
• 17:27
Speaker 10: dancing chicken. Put me on this, put me on the stove,
• 17:29
Speaker 10: turn on the heat. I'm good. But it's not been
• 17:32
Speaker 10: quite a year. I had a couple of people ask me,
• 17:33
Speaker 10: didn't y'all just do that? Well nine months ago, so
• 17:36
  Speaker 10: it's almost a.
• 17:37
Speaker 2: Year, almost a year, but it's dad jokes.
• 17:40
Speaker 4: Yeah are you Yeah? Well, tell you what do you do?
• 17:42
Speaker 4: You have enough laughs in your life that you don't
• 17:44
  Speaker 4: need to come.
• 17:45
Speaker 2: Oh, we need this.
• 17:46
Speaker 4: I was talking to Taylor from the place a little
• 17:48
Speaker 4: bit earlier and she said that. She said, I have
• 17:50
Speaker 4: a dad and a stepdad. She said, so I've got
• 17:52
Speaker 4: double the fun, so I could completely understand it. For
• 17:55
Speaker 4: those that weren't there last year, don't know the way
• 17:57
Speaker 4: this thing works now, and we explain the way that
• 17:59
Speaker 4: old Dad Joke's competition works.
• 18:01
Speaker 2: We take regular contestants off the streets. So if you
• 18:04
Speaker 2: are interested in coming on stage and doing that, definitely
• 18:08
Speaker 2: reach out to us. You don't have to be a dad.
• 18:10
Speaker 2: It's just a vibe. I'll be able to tell the jokes.
• 18:13
Speaker 2: Get on stage, we'll have we're changing it up a
• 18:15
Speaker 2: little bit, so we'll have a couple of rounds, you know,
• 18:18
Speaker 2: well you'll tell your jokes and at some point it'll
• 18:20
Speaker 2: go head to head and we have a panel of
• 18:23
Speaker 2: three judges. We have Logan and we have Woody and
• 18:27
Speaker 2: we have Morgan Robinson.
• 18:28
Speaker 4: Okay, good line up.
• 18:30
Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you know they'll also do the judging
• 18:33
Speaker 2: and robill MC and corral all the chickens and make
• 18:38
Speaker 2: it all better and.
• 18:39
Speaker 4: Yeah, it is a bit of hurting cat. So Robert,
• 18:42
Speaker 4: you've done this again last year. So how does one
• 18:45
  Speaker 4: MC a dad jokes competition? What's what's what's it like
• 18:47
  Speaker 4: for you?
• 18:48
Speaker 10: Very carefully, you know, they're they're the typical notes and
• 18:52
Speaker 10: sponsors and that sort of thing. But it really is
• 18:54
Speaker 10: a matter of trying to be trying to be trying
• 18:58
Speaker 10: to be the glue, trying to be the trying to
• 19:01
  Speaker 10: be the broth.
• 19:02
Speaker 4: I guess that keeps that stew going. I don't know.
• 19:06
Speaker 4: I was on the analogy team in high school.
• 19:08
Speaker 10: We were like, no, I got nothing, So yeah, it's
• 19:14
Speaker 10: it's keep it moving, it's keep everybody in the right
• 19:17
Speaker 10: place even beforehand. It's there are varying levels of what
• 19:21
Speaker 10: I call stage comfort for these folks. We had some
• 19:24
Speaker 10: folks who were like big deal musical theater and have
• 19:27
Speaker 10: performed on stage their entire life, and we have folks
• 19:30
Speaker 10: who the biggest crowd for which they've ever done comedy
• 19:34
Speaker 10: is Thanksgiving dinner. And so it's kind of balancing that,
• 19:37
Speaker 10: making sure everybody is comfortable with how things are going
• 19:40
Speaker 10: to work with being on stage. Some of them it's
• 19:43
Speaker 10: getting them to their mark. Some of them it's getting
• 19:45
Speaker 10: them to obey the red light when it goes off,
• 19:48
Speaker 10: because you know, stage time is stage time, and trying
• 19:51
Speaker 10: to have some fun in between integrating the judges and
• 19:54
Speaker 10: all that. I was kind of put on the spot
• 19:57
  Speaker 10: in our inaugural.
• 19:59
Speaker 2: Because we had that tie.
• 20:01
Speaker 10: Yeah, we had a we had a stone cold tie,
• 20:05
Speaker 10: and even in the face off, we couldn't get anyone
• 20:08
Speaker 10: to to blink as it were, And so I kind
• 20:11
Speaker 10: of made a command decision on the stage in the
• 20:14
Speaker 10: middle of everything, and we just declared it a tie,
• 20:16
Speaker 10: and off we went and had a good time.
• 20:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the one scenario that we did not.
• 20:22
  Speaker 4: Everything else.
• 20:24
Speaker 2: I thought that there would be a clear winner. We
• 20:27
Speaker 2: did not anticipate the ability to hold back last Okay,
• 20:31
Speaker 2: So now who won last year? Oh I don't remember,
• 20:38
Speaker 2: but they performed regularly with the alban theaters.
• 20:42
Speaker 4: Okay, it was two of those folks. Okay, all right,
• 20:45
Speaker 4: So now are they eligible to enter again or they
• 20:48
  Speaker 4: can come back.
• 20:48
Speaker 2: And defend their title? Okay, we know that the second
• 20:51
Speaker 2: runner up, Lynn, she's coming back.
• 20:54
Speaker 4: So okay, I didn't know if it was like, you know,
• 20:56
Speaker 4: once you want it, you can't wait.
• 20:58
Speaker 2: You should defend your title.
• 21:00
Speaker 10: Yeah, it's not Miss America or any what exactly what
• 21:03
Speaker 10: exactly do they get?
• 21:05
Speaker 2: Well, we got them a crown and a handmade snash,
• 21:10
Speaker 2: and then we also we took trophies that may or
• 21:15
Speaker 2: may not have been girls.
• 21:16
Speaker 4: Sports and it's one of my favorite things.
• 21:19
Speaker 2: And and out of clay, we made like little dad
• 21:23
Speaker 2: joke things on it, like we put like a new
• 21:25
Speaker 2: balance shoe on a baseball bat and stuff and just
• 21:29
Speaker 2: like grill stuff. And then we spray painted them like
• 21:31
Speaker 2: you know, gold, silver and bronze.
• 21:33
Speaker 4: That's killer. That's what you should have. Ye, yes, because
• 21:36
Speaker 4: you know every dad well, but every dad is like, well,
• 21:39
Speaker 4: don't throw that away. Don't throw away that stick. I
• 21:41
Speaker 4: can use that. I need that for something. So that's
• 21:43
Speaker 4: what you did with these trophies.
• 21:45
Speaker 10: And every dad is like, I got that in eighth grade,
• 21:47
Speaker 10: JV whatever, I'm keeping that trophy.
• 21:50
Speaker 2: Well, that's the funny thing is that when I go
• 21:51
Speaker 2: to the the antique stores looking for trophies, I can
• 21:54
Speaker 2: only find like girl sports trophies. I rarely find any
• 21:58
  Speaker 2: male trophies.
• 21:59
  Speaker 4: Like what we're doing, That's what's what you're doing. Right,
• 22:02
Speaker 4: So how does the judging work? I mean, you said
• 22:03
Speaker 4: you got Woody Woods from one of seven three to beat.
• 22:06
Speaker 4: We got Logan Scott FROMV one hundred, Morgan Robinson, very
• 22:08
Speaker 4: well known media all over Charleston. So how do they
• 22:12
Speaker 4: what's they're responsible? How do they judge them?
• 22:14
Speaker 2: So Samantha has created a rubric for them, and so
• 22:17
Speaker 2: that's what they do. They kind of go through the
• 22:18
Speaker 2: rubric and then they hash it out among themselves.
• 22:21
Speaker 10: That's a fancy way Dave of saying there's criteria that
• 22:24
Speaker 10: that you know, stage pressing and originality.
• 22:27
Speaker 4: Okay, you know with Dave, you got to talk in
• 22:30
Speaker 4: small work, Okay, I said it out. Yeah, I like
• 22:36
Speaker 4: it all right again we're talking about that means something different. Okay,
• 22:38
Speaker 4: we're talking to Naomi Base from the West Side Neighborhood Association,
• 22:41
Speaker 4: Rob Real from ninety six one k WS. The Dad
• 22:44
Speaker 4: Joe Competition is coming up by next Saturday night Capital Theater,
• 22:48
Speaker 4: and talk about the West Side Neighborhood Association. This is
• 22:50
Speaker 4: what you're here for. And you guys do things throughout
• 22:52
Speaker 4: the year, you and Samantha and the entire organization, but
• 22:54
Speaker 4: talk about the talk about what you did.
• 22:56
Speaker 2: So the westid Neighborhood Association celebrating thirty years. Thirty years
• 23:00
Speaker 2: and it's always been based around volunteers and the neighbors,
• 23:03
Speaker 2: and so we've really centered ourselves around that. We organize
• 23:06
Speaker 2: cleanups and do beautification projects and just how to build community,
• 23:11
Speaker 2: get people to get to know each other. And it's
• 23:13
Speaker 2: a great time and we try to sprinkle in silliness
• 23:15
Speaker 2: wherever we can. You know, we were on the show
• 23:18
Speaker 2: promoting our Magic on Magic Island event, which is a
• 23:21
Speaker 2: meet cute cleanup and so we'll Paul we have something
• 23:23
Speaker 2: like that again this year and we just try to
• 23:25
  Speaker 2: have fun.
• 23:25
Speaker 4: When I interviewed you guys for that, I'm going to
• 23:30
Speaker 4: say after next, well what is today? Next? Today is
• 23:34
Speaker 4: the tenth So yeah, seven days from today will be
• 23:37
Speaker 4: my thirty eighth year in radio. Okay, I've very rarely
• 23:41
Speaker 4: ever gotten nervous. But when we started talking about this
• 23:45
Speaker 4: event that you guys did, I was like, what exactly
• 23:48
  Speaker 4: is this?
• 23:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, we had to explain what a meet cute was
• 23:51
Speaker 2: to do the yeah, and cuffing season.
• 23:53
Speaker 4: And cuffing season, Rob, I learned all about what cuffing senes.
• 23:56
Speaker 10: Now as much old stuff as you've watched, I would
• 23:59
Speaker 10: think you would know a meet cute from you know,
• 24:01
Speaker 10: classic thirty screwball comedies and that sort of thing. But yeah,
• 24:05
Speaker 10: the cuffing season, that's that came a little after our.
• 24:08
Speaker 4: Time, okay, which well I learned it. I learned, and
• 24:10
Speaker 4: I learned what cuffing season wasn't it? And then I
• 24:13
Speaker 4: walked up to HR, which I have a normal seat anyway,
• 24:16
Speaker 4: I just walked in and said, well, should I come
• 24:17
Speaker 4: back tomorrow or you need somebody to watch the vans
• 24:20
Speaker 4: here at ten o'clock on Tuesdays, we have a standing appointment. Yeah,
• 24:23
Speaker 4: we just kind of go up to Ashley's office every day.
• 24:26
Speaker 4: What do you got this week? All right, all right,
• 24:28
Speaker 4: so we had a text here, what exactly is a
• 24:30
Speaker 4: dad joke? The term hasn't been around very long, Rob,
• 24:33
Speaker 4: you want to take that. A great example would be
• 24:36
  Speaker 4: what's a pirate's favorite letter?
• 24:38
  Speaker 11: Are?
• 24:39
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's so that sort of things? Cornball, yes, clean,
• 24:43
Speaker 4: mostly can Yeah, absolutely that your dad would tell Yeah,
• 24:49
Speaker 4: and hey Dad, I'm hungry, Hey hungry, I'm dad.
• 24:53
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 24:53
Speaker 10: I think that may be the that may be the prototypical,
• 24:56
Speaker 10: the proverbial dad joke.
• 24:58
Speaker 4: And we aim to.
• 24:58
Speaker 10: Keep this one family friend. Yes, so you know, bring
• 25:02
Speaker 10: the youngsters. We're going to have ourselves a good time.
• 25:05
Speaker 10: It's it's safe for everybody. And before the thought gets
• 25:09
Speaker 10: away from me, I do want to give a special
• 25:12
Speaker 10: extra bit of love to Sam because she is so effervescent,
• 25:17
Speaker 10: She's so bubbly and brings so much fun to these
• 25:20
Speaker 10: sorts of things. She's working her muggle job today, which
• 25:22
Speaker 10: is why she wasn't able to be here with us.
• 25:24
  Speaker 10: She was just recognized by the y w c A
• 25:28
Speaker 10: for being being a big deal around here in their lunch.
• 25:32
Speaker 2: And before ye she was nominated and awarded the Woman
• 25:36
Speaker 2: to Watch and I told her, I was like, I
• 25:39
Speaker 2: got my eyes on you.
• 25:40
Speaker 4: Yeah, you probably should.
• 25:41
Speaker 2: I should, especially during cuffing season.
• 25:46
Speaker 10: Yep, ten two o'clock or ten o'clock on Tuesday, right
• 25:50
  Speaker 10: on time.
• 25:50
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 25:50
Speaker 4: But but but you and Samantha do a great job
• 25:52
Speaker 4: in the entire organization here and again we talk about
• 25:55
Speaker 4: the events that you do, but the events and the
• 25:58
Speaker 4: fundraisers whatever make the other things that you do, uh,
• 26:01
Speaker 4: in the in the community. So so talk about that.
• 26:04
Speaker 2: Yeah. So all the money that we're raising from this
• 26:07
Speaker 2: will actually it's slated to go towards an oral history
• 26:11
Speaker 2: project that we're working on. Since we're celebrating thirty years,
• 26:15
Speaker 2: we're gonna start interviewing folks on the West Side that
• 26:19
Speaker 2: have been doing good work over the years. And so
• 26:21
Speaker 2: we're going to do some oral history because we've got
• 26:23
Speaker 2: some folks that have been you know, Tom Tolliver, he's
• 26:26
Speaker 2: ninety three years old, he's been doing community gardens were
• 26:28
Speaker 2: like fifty years, you know.
• 26:29
Speaker 4: Mister Tolliver. I think it's been on the show.
• 26:31
Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, And so like we want to talk to
• 26:33
Speaker 2: them and capture this on video and then you know,
• 26:36
Speaker 2: do a fun campaign with that, but then also have
• 26:38
Speaker 2: a long form video from that at the end.
• 26:40
Speaker 4: And it always amazes me, you know me, in the
• 26:43
Speaker 4: time that I have done this show, the way that
• 26:45
Speaker 4: the West Side folks come together for these things, whether
• 26:49
Speaker 4: it's something like this or like you said, the community
• 26:51
Speaker 4: gardens or so on and so forth. And there's a
• 26:54
Speaker 4: pride in the West Side of Charleston. I mean there
• 26:58
Speaker 4: really really is, and from people that will tell me,
• 27:01
Speaker 4: like you know, you say, it's in a lot of
• 27:04
Speaker 4: and Robs lived a lot of places because you've been
• 27:05
Speaker 4: fired a lot. Yeah, so so there. So you have
• 27:09
Speaker 4: these townspeople go in, they say, well where are you from,
• 27:11
Speaker 4: and you'll say, well, you know, Charleston or South Charleston,
• 27:13
Speaker 4: whatever the case may be. I've noticed that when in Charleston,
• 27:15
Speaker 4: a lot of people will say west Side Charleston. They
• 27:18
Speaker 4: don't necessarily say not everybody says with all due respecting
• 27:20
Speaker 4: the neighbors, they don't always say South Hills or they
• 27:23
Speaker 4: don't always say East End. But with Western people, they
• 27:26
Speaker 4: they they're proud of that Charleston West End.
• 27:29
Speaker 2: Absolutely. We recently I led a resident engagement session. So
• 27:34
Speaker 2: as part of the work that we do, we get
• 27:35
Speaker 2: with together with other West Side orgs and we talk
• 27:37
Speaker 2: about how can we together promote the west Side, and
• 27:41
Speaker 2: so we were doing this resident engagement thing, and we
• 27:43
Speaker 2: were talking about the through lines, like what are some
• 27:45
Speaker 2: of the key words and themes that you think about
• 27:47
Speaker 2: when and like that's what you said, like hope and
• 27:50
Speaker 2: pride and like coming together. Those were all the through
• 27:54
Speaker 2: lines that we kept coming up. So our next steps
• 27:57
Speaker 2: will be how can we create a campaign from that
• 28:00
Speaker 2: so that people really know, like the West Side is
• 28:02
Speaker 2: a place where you can be and you can know
• 28:03
Speaker 2: your neighbors and you can take pride in your community.
• 28:06
Speaker 10: And I think my favorite part about that is knowing
• 28:07
Speaker 10: that the West Side has a fascinating and somewhat complicated history.
• 28:13
Speaker 10: If you walk around down the folks know I walk
• 28:15
Speaker 10: about there are plenty of the historical markers for things
• 28:20
Speaker 10: that have gone on in the West Side over the
• 28:22
Speaker 10: past hundred and fifty years. There's a lot to learn
• 28:25
Speaker 10: and to have that kind of that kind of cohesive
• 28:29
Speaker 10: togetherness for the west Side.
• 28:31
Speaker 4: Is there is a lot of history there. Yeah, there's
• 28:34
Speaker 4: a lot to learn on the West Side, all right,
• 28:36
Speaker 4: And you can learn a lot of dad jokes and
• 28:38
Speaker 4: you can practice up Now, when would be the last
• 28:41
Speaker 4: moment for somebody to say I want to enter this competition.
• 28:45
Speaker 2: We will take you up until I believe Monday or Tuesday.
• 28:49
Speaker 4: Of next okay, and how do people enter?
• 28:51
Speaker 2: You can go to Westside Neighbor dot org or you
• 28:53
Speaker 2: can find us on the socials, Facebook and Instagram and
• 28:55
Speaker 2: follow the links from there.
• 28:57
Speaker 4: And they should plan to their their performance to be
• 29:00
Speaker 4: approximately how long. I remember, I'll say what's the limit.
• 29:03
  Speaker 4: I'll say that.
• 29:04
Speaker 2: They should probably have all together about ten to fifteen
• 29:07
Speaker 2: minutes worth of jokes.
• 29:08
Speaker 4: And it doesn't have to be we allow props, right,
• 29:11
Speaker 4: and it doesn't necessarily have to be like like a
• 29:13
Speaker 4: classic stand up comedy routine. From what I understand, Rob,
• 29:16
Speaker 4: I mean, you can just go out and just say
• 29:18
Speaker 4: if you want to cut, and you can use note
• 29:20
Speaker 4: books and you can use note.
• 29:21
Speaker 2: Car on your arm.
• 29:22
Speaker 4: I don't know, you can write on somebody else's arm
• 29:24
Speaker 4: if you want to. Bun back to the mingle again.
• 29:26
Speaker 4: But so you you don't have to you don't have
• 29:29
Speaker 4: to look like like Jerry Seinfeld up there. I mean,
• 29:32
Speaker 4: you can come out and just do joke after joke
• 29:34
  Speaker 4: after joke.
• 29:34
Speaker 10: You could be long form storyteller Allah Jerry Seinfeld, Nate Berghatsi,
• 29:39
Speaker 10: you could be just a rapid fire one liner like
• 29:42
Speaker 10: Henny Youngman get all the way to Geechee guy. However,
• 29:45
Speaker 10: you tell your dad jokes.
• 29:46
Speaker 4: We're going to make it work, all right, as the
• 29:49
Speaker 4: twenty first at the Capital Theater and give us the
• 29:52
  Speaker 4: website again.
• 29:53
Speaker 2: It is Westside Neighbor dot org. And tickets are on sale.
• 29:56
Speaker 2: They're thirty dollars for adults and ten for the kiddos.
• 29:59
Speaker 4: And do you give any are they going to and
• 30:00
Speaker 4: they're in their rubric? Are they going to do any? Uh?
• 30:04
Speaker 4: Any points for costumes because I'm thinking, you know, I mean,
• 30:07
Speaker 4: if somebody goes all out encourage.
• 30:08
Speaker 2: The costumes, but it does not count towards your delivery.
• 30:11
Speaker 10: Okay, yeah, please please please wear pants.
• 30:15
Speaker 4: You just wear pants. But I mean, but I'm thinking,
• 30:17
Speaker 4: I'm I don't want to deal with that again. The classic
• 30:20
Speaker 4: what I'm thinking is is like the white New Balance
• 30:23
Speaker 4: with a little weed eaters stain on the side of it,
• 30:26
Speaker 4: you know, cargo shorts, shorts. You know, if you can
• 30:32
Speaker 4: do the black socks with the white balance. Yeah, maybe
• 30:35
Speaker 4: a phone on a phone clip on your side, would
• 30:38
  Speaker 4: be good.
• 30:39
Speaker 2: Uh nice polo polo.
• 30:42
Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe a little ill fitting would be good. Maybe
• 30:46
  Speaker 4: a T shirt with a with a pizza stain on
• 30:48
Speaker 4: it from the Bowling Championship of nineteen eighty eight. Or
• 30:51
Speaker 4: Dave's just describing his work. I'm just I'm pretty much
• 30:53
Speaker 4: just describing every radio person. I'm just going through my closet.
• 30:57
Speaker 4: Slouchy hat, Yes, that would be good. But it's going
• 31:00
Speaker 4: to be a great time. And it again, this is
• 31:02
Speaker 4: the second time that you guys have done this. It's

Speaker 4: one O seven three to beat hip hop and throwbacks. Uh.
• 37:51
Speaker 4: And by that throwbacks, you may kind of ascertain from
• 37:55
Speaker 4: that that they're going a little bit more old school.
• 37:57
Speaker 4: They're still playing the new stuff and New Earth stuff,

Speaker 4: some text here, tex says Dave. My friends are saying,
• 38:23
Speaker 4: now I didn't vote for Trump until I show them
• 38:26
Speaker 4: all the texts I received from them, says a text.
• 38:30
Speaker 4: I appreciate the text. I will say this for my
• 38:32
Speaker 4: friends that are hardcore Trumps supporters, I have I have
• 38:39
Speaker 4: not experienced that now not and I appreciate the text.
• 38:43
Speaker 4: Not saying that the Texters, you know, lyne are incorrect.
• 38:46
Speaker 4: They know what they know I'm just saying that in
• 38:48
Speaker 4: my antidotal here, I have not seen that. I have
• 38:51
Speaker 4: had a lot of texts of the show about it, though,
• 38:54
Speaker 4: and Trump's support is eroding in many areas. The interesting thing,
• 39:00
Speaker 4: and I saw on the show, I'm sorry, I'm going
• 39:05
Speaker 4: on the show, saw some polling, I should say, over
• 39:07
Speaker 4: the weekend that said that the majority of people Republicans, Democrats, independence,
• 39:14
Speaker 4: they be one of the few really favorable things that
• 39:18
Speaker 4: President Trump has as far as polling goes right now
• 39:24
Speaker 4: is the is the way he's handled the border. Now,
• 39:27
Speaker 4: hold up, don't run off the road. When I say
• 39:29
Speaker 4: handling the border, what I mean by I'm not talking
• 39:31
Speaker 4: about ice. I'm talking about handling the closing of the border.
• 39:35
Speaker 4: The majority of Republicans, Democrats, and independents do support what
• 39:40
Speaker 4: President Trump has done at the border. According to National Pope. Now,
• 39:44
Speaker 4: the economy and his handling of the economy and the
• 39:47
Speaker 4: Ice situation seems to be the Achilles heel right now
• 39:52
Speaker 4: for the President. Texas says, going along with that, my
• 39:58
Speaker 4: church used to praise Trump, now not so much. Starting
• 40:02
Speaker 4: to part ways. Well, I don't get into religious discussions
• 40:06
Speaker 4: with people, but I would say that if you're well,
• 40:09
Speaker 4: I probably shouldn't say that. I'm just going to say
• 40:11
Speaker 4: that if your church is promoting any politician, you might
• 40:17
Speaker 4: want to look for a different church. I'm just saying
• 40:19
  Speaker 4: that's that's personal opinion on me. I'm I'm kind of
• 40:23
Speaker 4: a big believer in that. I talked to a lot
• 40:24
Speaker 4: of my pastoral friends debts. There's no place for that
• 40:29
Speaker 4: in the pulpit in my opinion. Texas Davis discussing that
• 40:34
Speaker 4: video companies a Department of War putting up videos of
• 40:38
Speaker 4: this Iron conflict did have to have to have to
• 40:43
Speaker 4: have a little bit more context on that, I guess.
• 40:45
Speaker 4: But Dave Iland show in five eighty Live is brought
• 40:47
Speaker 4: to you in part by Morgan to Morgan. If you're injured,
• 40:49
Speaker 4: hired Morgan to Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Texas, Dave,
• 40:53
Speaker 4: I miss Biden, and I'm an independent voter. Well, you
• 40:57
Speaker 4: may be the only one appreciate the text though. On
• 41:02
Speaker 4: the Military Texas Day, why are military leaders telling soldiers
• 41:05
Speaker 4: that this war with Iran his armorgeddon, this should never
• 41:08
Speaker 4: happen again. I have I've seen a lot of hyperbole
• 41:11
Speaker 4: about this, but I've not seen those words specifically. All right,
• 41:17
Speaker 4: So I'm going to get into something here and this
• 41:20
Speaker 4: is from the old man yells at Cloud's department, and
• 41:25
Speaker 4: that would be me. And I'm gonna tell you about
• 41:27
Speaker 4: something that happened yesterday. Set the stage with me. Just
• 41:33
Speaker 4: I just got in from work yesterday afternoon, early evening.
• 41:37
Speaker 4: Wife was off work, getting getting ready for dinner. And
• 41:42
Speaker 4: let me just kind of preface this by saying, I
• 41:45
Speaker 4: am in no way, no way, whatsoever, trying to discourage
• 41:52
Speaker 4: anyone from making a living. I appreciate the hustle, abs,
• 41:55
Speaker 4: that's my motto, always be selling. I appreciate that. So yesterday,
• 42:00
Speaker 4: late afternoon, almost early, my wife is walking through the
• 42:03
Speaker 4: living room and we have the front door open because
• 42:05
Speaker 4: it's a very nice evening, and so we got the
• 42:09
Speaker 4: door open and she just happened to be walking through
• 42:12
Speaker 4: the living room and she says to me, Okay, someone's
• 42:15
Speaker 4: walking up the driveway. And let me just say, because
• 42:19
Speaker 4: I genuinely don't like people at my house, I simply
• 42:23
Speaker 4: stepped out of the porch and met the person. And
• 42:27
Speaker 4: this person just explained to me that they were in
• 42:31
Speaker 4: the neighborhood and made up the name of a neighbor
• 42:36
Speaker 4: that we don't have and telling me that hey, we're
• 42:42
Speaker 4: just doing some work for her. Okay, well that's that
• 42:46
Speaker 4: name is not any of my neighbors. But okay, and
• 42:50
Speaker 4: it doesn't really matter. Well okay, I mean i'll tell you,
• 42:53
Speaker 4: I'll tell you it was. I'm not going to mention
• 42:55
Speaker 4: the name because it's not necessarily the company's fault. It
• 42:59
Speaker 4: was an internet. So the person explains to me that
• 43:05
Speaker 4: the company is expanding and just says, hey, I'd like
• 43:10
Speaker 4: to talk to you about this, and I just cut
• 43:13
Speaker 4: him off because I wasn't interested. And if I've always
• 43:20
Speaker 4: been a believer that if someone is is or is
• 43:23
Speaker 4: not interested, you know, I cut to the chase. If
• 43:25
Speaker 4: somebody you know, says to me, hey, would you like
• 43:28
Speaker 4: if I'm not interested, I'll just say no, save you time.
• 43:30
Speaker 4: I'm not interested. All right. So this person explains me, Hey,
• 43:35
Speaker 4: my company, we're in the neighborhood. We're over working at
• 43:38
Speaker 4: so and so's house again a neighbor that doesn't exist, uh,
• 43:41
Speaker 4: and would like to talk to me. And I explained
• 43:44
Speaker 4: to him that we're perfectly happy with our current provider.
• 43:47
Speaker 4: And this was a legit guy. Okay, I mean, he
• 43:50
Speaker 4: you know, had the uniform odd and the name tag
• 43:52
Speaker 4: you know it was. It was a legit person. I
• 43:54
Speaker 4: explained to him that we're happy with our current provider
• 43:58
Speaker 4: and I'm not interested. He then begins to talk to
• 44:03
Speaker 4: me and ask me about the internet speeds that we have,
• 44:05
Speaker 4: and again I explain, we're not interested, perfectly happy with
• 44:10
Speaker 4: our current provider. I'm not making this up. He then
• 44:14
Speaker 4: asked to see my phone, and it wasn't in a
• 44:17
Speaker 4: threatening kind of way or anything like that. He just
• 44:20
Speaker 4: said he have you got your phone? I will show you.
• 44:22
Speaker 4: And I was like, okay. At this point, I'm getting
• 44:23
Speaker 4: a little pissed, not gonna lie, all right. I then
• 44:28
Speaker 4: point to him that there is a sign at the
• 44:31
Speaker 4: top of the hill as you enter into our subdivision
• 44:34
Speaker 4: that plainly says no soliciting. Okay, And I'm not really
• 44:39
Speaker 4: sure what part of no soliciting that this person didn't understand,
• 44:44
Speaker 4: but it's like he just won't stop. And again, I
• 44:49
Speaker 4: appreciate the hustle, I really really do, but I don't
• 44:55
Speaker 4: do well when people when I tell you I'm not interested,
• 44:58
Speaker 4: I'm not interested, and then you keep going and asked
• 45:03
Speaker 4: to see my phone because uh, you're in it starts
• 45:06
Speaker 4: asking me all these questions, and when I said, okay,
• 45:10
Speaker 4: very nice and the conversation was good. Okay, Well like
• 45:14
Speaker 4: I was, you know, neither one of us was threatening
• 45:16
Speaker 4: each other or anything like that. I said, when you
• 45:19
Speaker 4: came to the neighborhood, there's a giant sign this says
• 45:22
Speaker 4: no soliciting. That means what you're doing now, sir, And
• 45:32
Speaker 4: so I kind of took away. Even if I were
• 45:35
Speaker 4: interested in what this person was selling and changing companies,
• 45:41
Speaker 4: I wouldn't go with that company. And again it's nothing
• 45:44
Speaker 4: personal against the guy just trying to make a living.
• 45:48
Speaker 4: But if I could give you a little advice from
• 45:51
Speaker 4: somebody who's done a lot of sales in my life,
• 45:53
Speaker 4: not door to door, but I have done a lot
• 45:55
Speaker 4: of sales and promotions, saying, maybe not be so pushed
• 46:00
Speaker 4: next time, because if I were interested in you just
• 46:04
Speaker 4: lost me with the whole thing after I told you
• 46:07
Speaker 4: I'm not interested, and you just continue to stand there
• 46:09
Speaker 4: on my front lawn and you ignore a signed this
• 46:11
Speaker 4: as no. So just saying Dave Iland show on five

• 49:22
Speaker 4: let me guess who else is here? Who? Okay? All right?
• 49:27
Speaker 4: So uh hello, all right, I've got to do something
• 49:31
Speaker 4: I don't do very often with you, Wilson. Okay, okay,
• 49:34
Speaker 4: I need to apologize. Okay, Well, here's the reason I
• 49:39
Speaker 4: texted you on an issue yesterday and you didn't get back.
• 49:42
Speaker 4: And I understand you're busy. You're Dave Wilson, My god,
• 49:46
Speaker 4: and I know you're busy. I texted you yesterday and
• 49:49
Speaker 4: I said, and asked you a question. You didn't answer me.
• 49:51
Speaker 4: So we have our little call that we have every
• 49:53
Speaker 4: morning to plan this. And I said, I'm so waiting
• 49:55
Speaker 4: on you to text me back, and you said, oh,
• 49:57
Speaker 4: I forgot it. Text your okay, So all right, I
• 50:00
Speaker 4: forgive you for that. So I got a text this
• 50:02
Speaker 4: morning from an old old friend of mine, I mean
• 50:05
Speaker 4: somebody I grew up with that sent me a text
• 50:10
Speaker 4: and wished me well on my health journey and so
• 50:12
Speaker 4: on and so forth. Thought, well, I haven't heard from
• 50:14
Speaker 4: this person in a while. And I looked down at
• 50:16
Speaker 4: the text, and the last text that I had between
• 50:19
Speaker 4: me and this person I grew up with was from night.
• 50:21
Speaker 4: It was from twenty twenty three, and it was me
• 50:25
Speaker 4: saying to that person, yeah, I'll call you tomorrow. So
• 50:33
Speaker 4: I thought you would get a kick out of that.
• 50:35
Speaker 4: Wilson says, I'm giving you crap for me texting you
• 50:38
Speaker 4: yesterday about two thirty of three and you not texted
• 50:41
Speaker 4: me back. And I realized that from my friend here
• 50:43
Speaker 4: who sent me a text in twenty twenty three, And
• 50:46
Speaker 4: I said, sure, call you tomorrow. And that was twenty
• 50:49
  Speaker 4: twenty three.
• 50:50
  Speaker 11: So.
• 50:52
  Speaker 15: Not bad.
• 50:53
Speaker 4: Well, at least you got back to it SOMETI at
• 50:55
Speaker 4: some point and I said, yeah, thank you for your
• 50:56
Speaker 4: well wishes and prayers and so apparently apparently the gods
• 51:00
Speaker 4: gave me cancer, you know, for that for not a
• 51:03
