- 0:04You don't control me timer, sup everybody?
- 0:07Hey, welcome back everybody. So we got some news this morning
- 0:11about some Insider information about the SpaceX Starship
- 0:18launch. That may be happening sometime
- 0:19soon, Jeff, Francis Stefan! Hey what's up?
- 0:22Hello from Germany again. Hello everybody.
- 0:25Welcome, welcome, welcome. So let's check out look at this
- 0:28poll 42%. We'll see August 29 percent,
- 0:32see, July, September 25 percent in October October October is
- 0:394%, October plus, so, October November December and then 2023
- 0:46possibly. I don't know, I have my feelings
- 0:50on this as well, but I know that SpaceX is working super hard to
- 0:55get this stuff done and I know because I've seen it, I've seen
- 0:59them working on it 24/7. I was talking yesterday during
- 1:03the live update stream. That when I was down at
- 1:09Starbase, you know, I spent nine months they're reporting on
- 1:13Starship and one night, I went down there at like 3:00 in the
- 1:17morning just to see what's up. You know what down to Starbase
- 1:21on side of highway for I brought my cameras and all my gear, like
- 1:25everything's been loaded in the truck.
- 1:26I have this big backpack full of like 50 pounds of camera gear
- 1:30and I throw in my trunk, got down there.
- 1:32It's about a 25 minutes to 30 minute drive from my house and I
- 1:35got there at 3:00 in the morning and there's like a million
- 1:38People they're still working and I mean it's a night shift mind
- 1:41you and it was kind of a push at that point from SpaceX to get
- 1:45this thing going. It was ship 420 so they were
- 1:50pushing super hard but there were a ton of people.
- 1:52They're always working 24/7. So that being said, we know that
- 1:58SpaceX isn't slowing down. You know, now that they got the
- 2:01Fonzie now that they're ready because of the environmental
- 2:05impact, study and everything. All of that stuff, Is done, I
- 2:09have 75 ish, things 70-something things that they have to take
- 2:13care of in order to launch this thing.
- 2:14And then they have to get an FAA launch license.
- 2:17On top of that, well SpaceX is still working as hard as ever
- 2:21and they just did a be 7.1 tank test last night and it looked
- 2:25like there was some weird venting going on with that.
- 2:29But that's sort of a thing that we're not 100% sure about why
- 2:33that was venting off the side of be 7.1.
- 2:35But they may be doing another test today.
- 2:38There's possibly another. I mean there is a road closure
- 2:40coming up today and you know, I didn't get any alerts on my
- 2:45phone if the road is closed quite yet, because I'm not down
- 2:48there at Starbase it. I can't really get kicked out of
- 2:50Starbase. Like I used to is that was
- 2:53always fun. That was always fun.
- 2:56You're down there and you're filming and stuff and the police
- 2:59show up. And they're like, oh yeah, but
- 3:01you gotta leave buddy and it's like, oh man, I was going to get
- 3:04that cool shot. But, you know, you know, You
- 3:08know, that that it's for the best and you have to kind of
- 3:10hang out and chill and just go down the road, a couple of miles
- 3:14and luckily I had a big lens so you know, so I could continue to
- 3:19shoot stuff from there but here's some road closures,
- 3:23screaming in my basement says nice.
- 3:24NASA jacket, where did you get it?
- 3:26I got it like two years ago and I can't remember where I got it.
- 3:31I really can't remember it, but thank you.
- 3:33I think it's pretty sweet to thank you.
- 3:37So How big? It's a 600 millimeter lens on.
- 3:42It's a 600 millimeter lens. It's like this big.
- 3:44It's like it's girthy too. It's like it's a big big like
- 3:50big lens. No chance for some static fires
- 3:57today, right? So I fell no there's no static
- 4:00fires today. There's been no over pressure
- 4:02test or no. Overpressure notices handed out
- 4:06yet. Mary Boca Chica Gail on Twitter.
- 4:08Hasn't had a notice yet and she's usually the go-to source
- 4:11for those kind of things. And once she posts that people
- 4:14freak out, I Count. Right.
- 4:17I freaked out because we know that something cool is going to
- 4:20be happening. And considering that she hasn't
- 4:26done that yet. We're just waiting.
- 4:29We're just waiting screaming, my best basement says, I predict a
- 4:32launch mid-august, I'm thinking, and this is just me knowing what
- 4:37I know from actual experience down there.
- 4:41I'm thinking I'm thinking up to 90 days, but after 90 days, it's
- 4:47going to be. I think they're going to pull it
- 4:50off within 90 days, I really do. I think they're going to pull it
- 4:53off in 90 days Within These next, 90 days, three months.
- 4:57So September, I moved there. Last year, September September
- 5:0110th, I got into Brownsville and 11th.
- 5:04I moved into my apartment, so I could have stayed there for a
- 5:09year and saw the launch, but I had to come back to New York for
- 5:12some Family stuff. So unfortunately I'm not in
- 5:16Brownsville right now, which I would love to be there, but I'm
- 5:20here and I will be taking a trip down to Brownsville for the
- 5:24launch. So if you want to support that
- 5:25in any way, the easiest way is to like this video, literally,
- 5:29the easiest ways to like the video if you want to subscribe
- 5:31to the show. Very cool.
- 5:33I appreciate that tremendously, it helps out a ton in.
- 5:35It also shows, like I said before, it shows YouTube, that
- 5:38you're interested in Starship content, so there you go.
- 5:42That's a A good way to show YouTube that like hey I like
- 5:45Starship content. This guy does a lot of Starship
- 5:47content. I want more Starship content, so
- 5:49if you subscribe to my show, you'll probably get fed a bunch
- 5:52of other cool Starship content to.
- 5:54So thank you for all the new Subs.
- 5:57Thanks for all the new likes trying to get up to 100 likes
- 5:59today. So thank you very much for that.
- 6:01Now, these are some road closures, coming up.
- 6:04I'm going to show you this. Check this out.
- 6:07Road closures. Coming up today, Wednesday.
- 6:10June 29th. Possible between 10 a.m. and 10
- 6:13p.m. M, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. possible
- 6:18closure and then June 30th on Thursday is a primary date for
- 6:23the next window of opportunity for testing for something.
- 6:27We're not sure what it could be another be 7.1 test, but it
- 6:33could also be an pressure test for booster.
- 6:37And it could be a cryo test for booster because they just
- 6:40installed 33 Raptor engines on this thing.
- 6:43So Reptar to is actually. So if you think about it they
- 6:47have to retest a lot of the systems that were in there
- 6:50before because before they put the Raptors on, they have to
- 6:53make sure that everything works right?
- 6:55Because there's no real reason to put the Raptors on, if the
- 6:58tanks don't work. You know what I'm saying?
- 7:01And if the pressure doesn't hold and if it's can't be
- 7:03cryogenically frozen, then there's no reason to put the
- 7:06Raptors on this thing so they did all those tests before the
- 7:09Raptors were put on. So going forward.
- 7:13There's a possibility that they do that whole Gambit of tests
- 7:16again, right? So the Gambit of test could be
- 7:20cryo load ambient pressure, testing things like that going
- 7:25forward and then probably an igniter test.
- 7:28They've already done it igniter test a less than a week ago.
- 7:31I think somewhere around there but they may not need to do
- 7:35another igniter test for certain Raptors that they that they're
- 7:40going to do the static fire for. So A knight or test.
- 7:44Basically goes shush shush but they don't like the engine, you
- 7:51know, they just have to make sure that the igniter works.
- 7:53So when the fuel hits the igniter, it all goes, so that's
- 7:57good. So that's the possibility that
- 8:02these things could take a lot of time, you know?
- 8:04And I'm looking at these road closures, June 30th, Thursday,
- 8:10June 30th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and then Look at this is
- 8:14Skips down. July 5th, right here, July 5th.
- 8:2110 a.m. to 10 p.m. so between Thursday, June 30th and July
- 8:245th. They lose about almost a month
- 8:27or not a month about a week of testing.
- 8:30So about five days of testing, they lose that time because of
- 8:34the Fourth of July holiday Brownsville and Boca Chica Beach
- 8:40super busy during these times. Very, very Busy.
- 8:43It's a vacation spot. It's busy during nice days.
- 8:47And I've seen, you know, lots of cars down there.
- 8:50It's kind of out the middle of nowhere to by the way if you've
- 8:52never been down there, it's kind of crazy.
- 8:54It's kind of kind of out in the middle of nowhere and there's
- 8:59people everywhere down there. But you have to drive like 30
- 9:02minutes from Brownsville to get down to this place, and it's a
- 9:05drive for 25 of those 35 minutes through, literally nothing just
- 9:12like a long, stretch of road through the desert, basically,
- 9:14through the wetlands and through through sand and like scorching
- 9:20sun to get down to this beach. But Fourth of July weekend
- 9:25SpaceX and Cameron County have come to an agreement to not do
- 9:29any testing between those days. So that being said, judge
- 9:35Trevino, Eddie Trevino. Is the person in charge of
- 9:39giving the okay for camera County and SpaceX to to do
- 9:46there. They're testing, right?
- 9:48So, this guy right here, Eddie Trevino jr.
- 9:52Seems like a really nice, dude. I've never met the guy, but he
- 9:54seems really cool, but he is, he's the guy, you know, every
- 9:59time you see these road closures right here?
- 10:02Order closing book at, you could be chin State Park Highway, or a
- 10:04state highway June 30th 2022. Eddie Trevino is on here
- 10:09somewhere. Where is his name?
- 10:13Edit Ravine your Junior right up here at the top.
- 10:15You can't really see it but court approved an order,
- 10:18authorizing County Judge edit Trevino, jun'er to execute any
- 10:21and all necessary or appropriate notices orders of temporary
- 10:24closure of State Highway for Cameron County Judge, head of
- 10:29Trevino jr. Has ordered the temporary
- 10:30closure of access to Boca Chica Beach as well as State Highway
- 10:33for from FM 1419 to the entrance of Boca.
- 10:37Chica Beach, do to anticipate a testing activities for SpaceX.
- 10:41On the 30th. So that's tomorrow, that's
- 10:46tomorrow. And then there's one for 27th.
- 10:49It's pretty much the same thing, but the road is at the
- 10:53beginning, the other row that they're talking about here, I
- 10:55want to show you this real quick Highway for, that's like the
- 10:58whole strip of Highway for Oklahoma.
- 11:01Avenue is at the very beginning. The show is brought to you by

- 13:03It is really easy to use. So go to back plays.com / heel
- 13:07on back plays.com, Ilan back. Lay's.com Ceylon.
- 13:15If I wait for, as you're going from Brownsville down to
- 13:19spacex's Starbase so Oklahoma, EV is very far away and I got
- 13:23confused months ago, four or five months ago or something
- 13:26like that was pretty late at night, I think, or I was really
- 13:28tired from the Sun from Pink, his dark face all day and I was
- 13:31like, wait, why are they closing the whole Road?
- 13:34And I freaked out, I was like, why are they closed the whole
- 13:37Road? This has got to be something
- 13:39crazy and then it really wasn't. It's just like every notice is
- 13:42from Oklahoma Avenue. New all the way down to the end,
- 13:46but this is basically like. So they have a boiler plate so
- 13:49they can say, okay, we need to, we need to close this whole
- 13:52Road. You know, if we need to, they
- 13:54don't have to do any sort of weird stuff, you know, and try
- 13:56to figure it out later. So it's just a boilerplate of
- 14:02Oklahoma Ave, which is at the beginning of Highway for all the
- 14:05way down to Starbase. So, it's like a 25 mile trip
- 14:08from there, basically, from the, the checkpoint, there's a border
- 14:12patrol checkpoint basically. Border patrol checkpoint all the
- 14:15way down to Highway for our all the way down highway forward to
- 14:18Starbase. So editor, Vino signs off on
- 14:21these things, right? Eddy, Curry know, also came out
- 14:26the other day on the Rio Grande, guardian and said, I expect
- 14:32Starship to launch from Boca Chica within the next 90 days.
- 14:36Okay? So Eddie works super close with
- 14:40Ilan. He works super close with the
- 14:42SpaceX team here. It's super close with Cameron
- 14:45County, he knows everybody, he knows everybody, he shakes
- 14:50hands, he kiss babies, he's a politician.
- 14:53He's a, he's a, he's a judge, you know?
- 14:56He's, he's one of those people that you can trust with this
- 14:59sort of information and on the rear end a guardian, they were
- 15:04asking me questions. So this is in the defense of the
- 15:07future of Aerospace defense in energy, in Brownsville.
- 15:10It's a conference that happened down there in Brownsville.
- 15:13He said, During a Q&A who has Helen Ramirez, asked him.
- 15:18I know you don't have a crystal ball in your pocket, but what is
- 15:20your prediction in terms of the Starship launch?
- 15:24And you think about this for a second, this is the guy to ask
- 15:28because he knows some stuff. The even meet I like, I talk to
- 15:31the workers down at Starbase, you know, every day.
- 15:34I was like, hey, what's up? And I got to know a few of them,
- 15:36you know, but they never told me anything.
- 15:38And I lived in the same apartment complex is like for
- 15:42SpaceX guys. So they didn't spill any beans,
- 15:47but edit Trevino, he knows some people, he knows what's up.
- 15:51So after they said, I know you don't have a crystal ball in
- 15:55your pocket, but what is your prediction in terms of a
- 15:57Starship launch Helen Ramirez? Said, in that Eddie said, I
- 16:01could accurately say that if it was up to SpaceX, it would have
- 16:05been today, or yesterday. I can see that with 100% degree
- 16:10of certainty. So Eddie saying, holy moly,
- 16:16let's do this. SpaceX is 100% ready.
- 16:20They want to do this right now? Let's At this going.
- 16:25So he also goes on to say, but I think on the real aggressive
- 16:29side, we are probably talking 30 days, real aggressive side.
- 16:34So 30 days from now, June 29th 2022 by the end of July.
- 16:41Really aggressive SpaceX. Could possibly launch Starship,
- 16:46I think, but I think on the real aggressive side, we are probably
- 16:49talking 30 days on the more moderate side probably 60 days.
- 16:53And more realistically 90 days. But it could be anywhere in that
- 16:58ballpark more realistically, he says, 90 days, could they have
- 17:02another influence or another? Another influx of people pushing
- 17:08Starship, could they have hundreds of workers coming down
- 17:12to Starbase to get this thing stacked up again to get a full
- 17:17stack of Starship again. And to do all the testing is
- 17:20totally possible. They have Engineers all over the
- 17:23country, they Of Engineers at Hawthorne California, they have
- 17:25them in Texas, they have been Florida.
- 17:28So all those people from different places could come
- 17:30together at Starbase and just be like let's do this.
- 17:34Let's get this done because they have the FAA approval for the
- 17:37environment but they don't have a launch license yet.
- 17:40So it's possible that they get a launch launch license whenever
- 17:45the PHA yay agrees to do it. So, That's the kicker, right?
- 17:54The FAA, we're waiting, right? We're waiting for this, but they
- 17:58need to SpaceX needs to demonstrate that.
- 18:01They can stack this thing. They need to demonstrate that
- 18:04they can static fire this thing and they also have to do those
- 18:0675 is things that the FAA is environmental.
- 18:10Study said they need to do in order to launch this.
- 18:15So they're in the process of that.
- 18:16Most of them are pretty easy. Most of them are like donate
- 18:19five thousand dollars, you know, like that's pretty easy for
- 18:22SpaceX, don't eat. Thousand dollars for the
- 18:24oscillate fund or something like that.
- 18:27And then there's one build a bridge.
- 18:29So the animals can get across the highway so they don't get
- 18:33hit by cars anymore, you know, things like that.
- 18:37Could take a little bit of time could take.
- 18:39I mean, it doesn't have to be a crazy bridge and it doesn't have
- 18:43to be a huge infrastructure plan for this thing to happen.
- 18:47But but Highway for is a protected area around there.
- 18:53So they have to work with the Department of Transportation and
- 18:56also the department of conversation conservation, Etc,
- 19:00to get this done. So that may take a little while,
- 19:05you know, 30 to 60 days to get all that kind of paperwork
- 19:08together and then to get it ready and get the supplies
- 19:11ready, they'll hire a local contractor to do it SpaceX
- 19:14themselves. Aren't going to do it.
- 19:15They'll hire somebody. They hire local contractors in
- 19:18Boca Chica. Area Brownsville area all the
- 19:21time to do this stuff. So there's a possibility that
- 19:26they just go. Okay, so we have, we know what
- 19:28we need to get done. We have to do this in 10 days.
- 19:32Can you build this? And then any contractor in
- 19:35Brownsville will be like anything.
- 19:37You say, Ilan, you know, like whatever needs to be done.
- 19:41We're going to do it because they also have they have
- 19:45existing relationship contractors, that build things
- 19:48for them like concrete. Etc.
- 19:50So it's possible that they can get this done in a relatively
- 19:54short manner of time has to be a viewing area as well for people
- 19:58to check out the wildlife down there, things.
- 20:01Things like that, of those of that nature that are sort of
- 20:06sort of sortie easy, you know, things that are like, they can
- 20:10probably build that over a week, you know, like build a viewing
- 20:13area for about a week so that could take a little bit time.
- 20:17But in same time, they just hire somebody To do that.
- 20:20You know they might have to little bit paperwork to do to
- 20:22get that ready and get it started, but they hire somebody
- 20:25else to do that. So the engineers that are
- 20:26working on Starships aren't working on road projects.
- 20:30So the stuff that's happening at Starbase isn't going to be
- 20:34affected by these little side project.
- 20:36They have to do. So those will be pretty easy to
- 20:40get done I think and I think those will be done within the
- 20:42next 30 days. So as edit Trevino says, I think
- 20:47on the real aggressive side. We were probably talking 30
- 20:50days. So if Raptor twos work, if they
- 20:54can get cryo test, if they can get pressure tests, if they can
- 20:58get all the tests done within those 30 days, and they can show
- 21:02the FAA that this thing is ready to fly because they have to
- 21:05show. They can't just be like, hey, I
- 21:06figure, we have this experimental rocket and we think
- 21:09it's going to it might read on the pad and like do some really
- 21:12bad damage. They have to show that this
- 21:15thing is totally okay to fly because the FAA won't allow them
- 21:20to fly. If they don't have the concrete
- 21:22evidence that this is not going to be a danger to people or the
- 21:26environment around it or you know, down the way.
- 21:30I mean they're gonna be fine. This thing the Kawaii, right?
- 21:33So they're going to be they're going to be flying the booster
- 21:35into the into the Gulf of Mexico and then they're going to be
- 21:40landing at there and then they're going to be flying this
- 21:43rocket Starship. Almost a full orbit to Kawaii
- 21:48and then Landing it in a name. Zone basically, where they take
- 21:52old ships to die. So, they take these old ships,
- 21:55send them out there and they blow them up and they sink them.
- 21:59It's kind of like, do exercises out there where they're like,
- 22:01okay, we're going to do a targeting exercise today.
- 22:06And we're going to we're going to blow up a boat or something
- 22:09like that. So Starship is going to be in
- 22:12the same sort of graveyard of ships at that point.
- 22:17So yeah that's it's going to be it's going to be a pretty T,
- 22:21decent process. And if you have any questions,
- 22:23let me know in the chat also. Thanks for the 49 likes.
- 22:26If you like content like this, if you like Starship content,
- 22:29let me know by hitting the like button.
- 22:31And if you do that SpaceX or not, you'll get more space X
- 22:37stuff in your feed to, which is always good.
- 22:39So, thanks so much for the new likes.
- 22:42Thanks for the new Subs, too because working on getting our
- 22:46sub count up to 100,000 and we're 88,000 plus now, so,
- 22:51Pumped. And I want, I want to see real
- 22:52quick after my little diatribe, there about SpaceX.
- 22:55I want to say thank you to a few people that have become members
- 22:58of the channel. Kenneth more naughty Diane
- 23:01Harris, Fang. Stargazer girl Jeff Francis
- 23:04Preeti cariann, Bob Brink Tammy blauser Neil Anderson.
- 23:09Tom Michael Maxie Maria Guinea and Cornholio.
- 23:14Carly of profile picture is Beavis and Butt-head which is
- 23:18the best and chard baby. Everybody knows sure I'd be even
- 23:20happier. Cappy.
- 23:21Thanks so much everybody for all of the new memberships of the
- 23:24channel to the channel. And if you want to become a
- 23:26member, that would be great because it helps the show out.
- 23:29And also, it helps fund two trips to rocket launches.
- 23:32So I'm going to be down in Starbase for this launch.
- 23:37It's going to be cool, it's going to be great.
- 23:38So if you want to help that, that cause become a member, it
- 23:42takes a second and really helps out a ton.
- 23:45It's like five bucks a month or something like that.
- 23:47So, basically got patreon but on YouTube, So we got to we got to
- 23:54like take a look at other things that Eddie Trevino said to let
- 23:57me look at the chat real quick. So can't believe the booster can
- 24:00land in these tiny pins that is mind-blowing.
- 24:03It's insane, it's insane. How big this thing is, but also
- 24:08that it's going to be landing like that.
- 24:13That precise you know and I don't I don't they're not going
- 24:17to be catching any anytime soon. I don't think very many catching
- 24:20any. And in Cameron County anytime
- 24:24soon because I don't think the don't think the FAA is going to
- 24:28allow them to do a fly back for a while until they prove that
- 24:33they can land these things. Because I mean Falcon 9 it took
- 24:35him a while to landed right? Took him a bunch of tries to
- 24:39land a falcon 9. So it's going to be a while
- 24:43before they actually get to land on the chopsticks with a booster
- 24:48or a ship. So I'm not expecting it anytime.
- 24:52This year to try that, I think it's going to be next year that
- 24:54they're going to be landing on the, on the arms.
- 24:56At some point, possibly even longer along the line than that,
- 25:00could be two years from now but rapid reuse ability.
- 25:03They have to make sure that everything works right in that
- 25:06they can get a very precise Landing when they land in the
- 25:08Gulf or when they land on land. I mean, there's a possibility
- 25:12that there are some islands out by Kawaii that are kind of
- 25:16uninhabited or have very, very few people that live there in
- 25:20there is Military bases on them. So SpaceX is looking into
- 25:26actually Landing either ship or booster out there away from
- 25:32everything else away from their landing area and Cameron County
- 25:35just so they can test it on land too.
- 25:37But we'll see. We'll see what happens with that
- 25:39because we don't really know they're not really working.
- 25:41They're not really focusing on that.
- 25:43They're more focusing on getting to orbit first and once they can
- 25:46prove that they can get the orbit, they might not even make
- 25:48it to orbit this time like this, this might just go Up in Smoke,
- 25:53you know, it's the first orbital flight attempt for Starship so
- 25:57it might make it over the Gulf of Mexico and they, that might
- 26:00be it nothing. They might make it a couple
- 26:03miles out in the event. Could be yet 100 million things
- 26:08to go wrong with this thing. So it's an experimental thing
- 26:10and they have to show the FAA that they're ready to go.
- 26:13So edit Trevino, also talks about the Fonzie a little bit in
- 26:18this article. It's on the Rio, Grande
- 26:20Guardian.com space. Sex understands and they are
- 26:23committed to making sure that they protect the environment and
- 26:26do not impact it - 4 in any - former fashion.
- 26:30So they are involved in engaged and SpaceX have been waiting on
- 26:33this. We have all been waiting on this
- 26:35honestly, for quite a period of time, you know?
- 26:41I can tell I can tell that Eddie is he's chomping at the bit to
- 26:45get this thing launched. There's there's a lot to be done
- 26:50with Starship still but the sooner they get this thing
- 26:54launched in the faster that it gets to orbit.
- 26:58The more they can ramp up production in the more they ramp
- 27:01up production, the more money the county makes Cameron County
- 27:05has made millions of dollars due to Starship and do too.
- 27:09Starbase. So, you know, Eddie Eddie's
- 27:12right on the ball there. He's been waiting.
- 27:14You know, this judge any Trevino's been waiting, the
- 27:17whole camera County area has been waiting.
- 27:19They're bringing in thousands of jobs to that region, so Eddie
- 27:23The Insider coming through coming in hot, but he goes on to
- 27:29say, you know, that that there's a difference between Boca Chica
- 27:36Beach and Florida. And I want to talk about that
- 27:40for a couple seconds to, he says, obviously the difference
- 27:43between Boca Chica and Florida, is that we have not done it yet.
- 27:46We have not launched here, we have had a few tests but we
- 27:49don't have the launching industry, the Florida does.
- 27:52So we are literally inventing the wheel here.
- 27:54I think the FAA understandably, so wanted to make sure that they
- 27:57cross all the t's and dotted all the eyes before they gave
- 28:00approval, which is totally okay. And I was talking about that
- 28:04earlier. How about how the FAA also has
- 28:08to make sure that Starship will launch and it'll be okay.
- 28:13So if they, if SpaceX proves to the FAA, that this thing looks
- 28:17like it's going to make it at least to a at least to a safe
- 28:22place. Then I think the FAA will say,
- 28:25okay, let's go. Let's go SpaceX, let's get this
- 28:28thing done. Let's launch this thing.
- 28:30Let me take a look at chat real quick.
- 28:32Still kept the tiny pins. That it is a lunar Starship for
- 28:36Artemus three. I think 20 25 to 20 26, but for
- 28:39Mars crew died. See, 2035 feel like 2030 is
- 28:42still a too ambitious date for Mars.
- 28:44I'd love to be wrong though. Now, let me take a drink of my
- 28:46ridiculously large bottle of water.
- 28:49This is a, this thing is huge. I just got this the other day I
- 28:52was on sale and I was like, this is huge.
- 28:58Talking for like 30 minutes, straight hurts, your throat,
- 29:01press the, an impassioned Starship talk, you know who I
- 29:06can't, how, I don't understand can do this stuff, is the angry
- 29:10astronaut. He's always so mad.
- 29:14They always has an angry voice, so I don't know, I don't know
- 29:17how he does it. I love that guy.
- 29:18I love Angry astronaut, I've had him on the show before.
- 29:21He's a great dude, he's a great dude, but the way like his voice
- 29:24is so Gravely and You know, I think that he's pretty awesome
- 29:31but I don't know how he does it for that long.
- 29:32I really don't one Link at a time.
- 29:36LLC says, can you turn up your mic?
- 29:37I can't. This is let me try.
- 29:39Hold on, let me try over here. Try with Hardware.
- 29:41There we go. Try with the harder.
- 29:43I don't want to blow it out, but let's try this.
- 29:45There we go. Is that better for you?
- 29:47There we go. So yeah, when he has a gravelly
- 29:52voice, I'm like man. If I tried to do that for that
- 29:54long, as long as he does for his live streams, I would probably
- 29:57blow up my vocal cords. So let's talk a little bit about
- 30:02the economic impact to that Eddie Trevino's SOS.
- 30:06So Eddie said, anywhere between 30 and 90 days.
- 30:10If you're just joining us here, Between 30 and 90 days for the
- 30:14launch of a Starship. What subject?
- 30:17And welcome back economic impact of Starship down there at
- 30:23Starbase. This is also for the Rio Grande,
- 30:26Guardian. I want to give him a shout out
- 30:27because there's a great article and I want to give a shout out,
- 30:31hopefully people check them out. Eddie says the expectation was
- 30:36we were going to have a couple of hundred jobs.
- 30:37This is initially that he said this initially and we were very
- 30:41excited about that. It is over 1600 jobs.
- 30:44Now, plus over 6,000 indirect jobs, that's huge for camera
- 30:52County. It's one of the poorest counties
- 30:54in America. There's literally nothing there.
- 30:59It's just a big wide open desert, kind of, I mean, I lived
- 31:03there. I know, I know and I've it's
- 31:06Texas. So you're far away from
- 31:08everything. Like the closest little town is
- 31:11like 25 miles. 25 30 miles away, and there's kind of nothing in
- 31:15between you and them, except for houses and stuff.
- 31:18So it's like, it took me, two days to drive out of Texas,
- 31:23that's going back to New York, two days.
- 31:27And it was like a seven-hour day, every, you know, served our
- 31:29trip every day. So it took me a lot to take me a
- 31:32while to get out of there. There's nothing down there.
- 31:34So of course the environmental impact or not the environment.
- 31:38The economic impact is huge 20, you know What 1600 Jobs Plus
- 31:456,000 indirect jobs about 8,000 jobs as a say that the
- 31:51investment 8.1 million in sales and property taxes.
- 31:55A point, 1 million dollars for camera County in Brownsville
- 31:57area. Huge, we're 570 million in
- 32:00compensation and benefits. Payroll 650 million in added on
- 32:05production and goods over 900 million aggregate market value,
- 32:08goods and services, that's huge. Huge.
- 32:14And he said, during covid, Brownsville hotels, were largely
- 32:17full unlike in other areas. He put this down in large part
- 32:21to SpaceX and the ancillary Aerospace activity.
- 32:24So basically during covid SpaceX workers, still had to come into
- 32:30town. So people like myself were there
- 32:32to document it and people were just there to to work, you know,
- 32:37they're living in hotels of living in motels and there's a
- 32:40bunch of them on the island. There's a Bunch of them, you
- 32:44know, through Brownsville and that whole area.
- 32:47But he says, the hotel industry didn't really suffer that much,
- 32:51so that's pretty great. They filled up our hotels, they
- 32:56were eating in restaurants. That's the other thing, too.
- 32:58Like, the the ancillary markets. The little markets restaurants
- 33:04hotels, cool. Okay, so that's great.
- 33:07But you go by, guess you go into the grocery store.
- 33:10You may go to a gym, you may Get a gym membership, you may
- 33:14whatever you have to buy clothes.
- 33:15So you go to Target Etc. So all those little Industries,
- 33:21ramped up because SpaceX was there.
- 33:24They filled up hotels. They were eating a restaurant.
- 33:25They were supporting local businesses, they continue to
- 33:27grow. It is no exaggeration to say
- 33:29that the help the region get past covid at a time when
- 33:32everyone else was suffering, our hotel occupancy.
- 33:34Was it 90-plus percent? Yeah, insane.
- 33:39Our Airlines were 80 to 90% capacity.
- 33:42So it's no exaggeration to say that SpaceX has made.
- 33:44Its Mark, we're really excited about what the immediate in near
- 33:47future means for us. So he says between 30 and 90
- 33:50days for SpaceX to launch this thing.
- 33:53And I'm excited about it because I got my hotel booked, I have a
- 33:57rolling Hotel date, that I'm just kind of like, I'm waiting
- 34:04and I'm just I'm excited to go down there.
- 34:06So I got a week at the hotel because if Something happens and
- 34:09they're like, well, we're going to launch see if they launched a
- 34:11life 15th, right? Or if they want to launch the
- 34:14life 15th but they put it on hold for a week or for a couple
- 34:17days. That's fine.
- 34:18I'll still be there covering it and I'll be doing when I get
- 34:21down there 24 hour stream. So make sure to subscribe to the
- 34:23show. It's going to be really, really
- 34:27cool in the near future for those launches to.
- 34:31So I was down on the side of the road for, you know, Highway 4
- 34:34for 9 months then. I can't wait to get back there.
- 34:37I think it's going to be really, really great.
- 34:39Wait, what do you think? The time between each launch
- 34:42will be at the peak Starship recycle time J Fidel.
- 34:48Peak same day, I think it's going to be same day, you know,
- 34:53Yvonne once one hour, he wants it to be like an airline.
- 34:56So I'm guessing Peak will be same day but the FAA has to do
- 35:02licensing and stuff too. And I don't know if, you know, I
- 35:06think SpaceX could do it within an hour, but also, the FAA has
- 35:10to approve every single launch that they do.
- 35:14And if they can figure that out, there would be really Great, but
- 35:18it's a tough one because the FAA is so slow.
- 35:23Don't forget the publicity increase of all the businesses
- 35:26in Cameron County. Yeah, exactly.
- 35:27Tech 10, exactly. They eventually want those down
- 35:33and up again as fast as Ryanair. Yeah.
- 35:35Yeah. Exactly.
- 35:35They want them to go as soon as possible.
- 35:38They want them up and down. They want to find just like an
- 35:41airline Land. One refurbish it a little bit.
- 35:46Put more people in it or cargo whatever and then launch another
- 35:50one. That's it.
- 35:51That's what they want. So that's about it for today
- 35:55guys. I really do appreciate you
- 35:57stopping by. Let's you know let's just hope
- 36:02for SpaceX to launch this thing within the next 90 days as just
- 36:08Trevino wants them to do within 30 to 90 days.
- 36:12So that's about it for me today everybody I really do appreciate
- 36:15the 83 likes if Just have like spam likes real quick.
- 36:18Can we get to 100? Is that possible?

- 37:15Hit the like button. KP says, I think the future
- 37:17because of Starship the FAA will have to change their policy.
- 37:20Yeah. In the FAA slow.
- 37:21So it might be a while before they do that.
- 37:23Run Trader. Hey, how's it going?
- 37:26Bob Brink? Oh gee.
