- Robin Axline: welcome to our show. Dear listeners, we have on deck a big time petty battle episode. And I am Robin Axline and I'm joined by my lovely co-host Tita Loores. And we're really happy to be here and we're really happy to battle it out. Ding ding ding ding ding. Tita Lors: those sounds are punches. Boo. Boo. Boo. Robin Axline: so Tita Lors: Punches look so crazy. Who punches like that? Robin Axline: It's like what is that? Rock'em sock'em robots or whatever? Tita Lors: yes, yes, yes. Robin Axline: we got our right hooks on deck, you know. anyway, yeah our uppercuts my gosh. Tita Lors: Do do do do do do. Our uppercuts. Mm-hmm. Wait, okay, tangent. Pew did you watch Mortal Kombat? The one that just came out? Robin Axline: I've seen the other two, but not the new one. I love Mortal Kombat. Tita Lors: Mm-hmm. It is so there's so many moments of like, wow, this is so 80s coded. And yeah, and then there was one scene. I was in and out when Ryan was watching it, kinda like falling asleep and waking up, and I woke up and I was like, This looks literally exactly like the game. What is happening right now? Yeah, they had like some scenes where it was straight from the game was really impressive. Just for that, I mean the the r I wasn't really paying attention to whether the storyline was good. I was just like, Wow, these are good graphics. This is a really good fight scene. Robin Axline: Yeah. Sick. I can't yeah, I just like even putting it off, but I love the OG one, obviously. And then the one that came out like quite a few years ago, whenever that was. I thought that was done really well. And I bet you this one's even better. Like graphics-wise and cool. I'm looking forward to it. I'm a longtime fan of that game, so Tita Lors: Okay, okay, tangent done. That that game existed in the laundromats when I waited for my grandma to finish with her laundry. That's what we were That's what I spent my quarters on. Robin Axline: I played my quarters were mostly on Street Fighter at the pizza parlor, but I also did play Mortal Kombat. Mostly Mortal Kombat on my Game Boy though. So Ooh. yeah, I love me some Pac-Man. Especially Mrs. Pac-Man. I think I'm extra good at. Tita Lors: Mm-hmm. Robin Axline: But I digress. Okay. Yeah. Tita Lors: We both do, frequently. Robin Axline: That's why you like us, right, dear listeners. Tita Lors: That's why you're here. Robin Axline: Okay, so we're gonna swirl into some petty battles. Lora it looks like you have the first one on deck. Tita Lors: Okay. R slash Petty Revenge from five days ago. Sparkle House. And it's the devil's number. Sparkle House six six six. It's titled Friend Is Always Late. I have a friend who is late to everything. Recently, he was two and a half hours late to his own party. I've mostly adapted to his tardiness and not arrive for plans and do not arrive for plans we have together until an hour or so after the started time. We had plans to meet in the city center today at ten AM. I live twenty minutes from the meetup spot. He lives over an hour away. As expected, he messages around ten. Sorry. my flabbers are already gasted. Like, you're supposed to have already been there. Ten was the meeting time, and you're just Robin Axline: That's why I said wait. Okay. Tita Lors: Okay, anyways. he messages around ten and says he is running late. No biggie. I was chillin' at h chilling at home in the air conditioned because I knew the vibes and it's hot as hell today. I asked him to give me his actual for real for real ETA. So I can time my departure. He is in his car and has Google Maps. It's not really guesswork at this point. Bear. He tells me 1045. So I leave the comfort of my home at exactly the right time to arrive at 1045. I wait for 30 minutes at the meetup spot and he still does not arrive. He's not responding to text either. My other friend who is with me has his location and sees he's not close. We estimate another 15 minutes. My guy. I'm annoyed because it's hot AF out and I proactively had asked for a real ETA to avoid waiting around for him. So I left the meetup spot. I went shopping, taking my sweet time. He got to the spot and texted me to ask where we were. I waited around 30 minutes, then texted back that I was at the store. but we would be heading that way soon. I shopped another fifteen minutes, then arrived at the spot around an hour after he had arrived. The look on his face when we came casually strolling up after he had been standing in the sun for an hour was priceless. Okay, so let's do our ratings and then we'll discuss. Okay, tell me why you gave your ratings. Robin Axline: Well, I feel like it definitely was not an overreaction given that this is a serial issue with this person. and that they well overshot the meetup time knowing that this person was so flaky and that the other friend had intel, god knows why, a tracking, if you will, seems a little odd, but we don't Tita Lors: Sorry, hold Robin Axline: so the overreaction was not an overreaction because how wild it all was. Then spiteful behavior is big time spite because you're doing something cl like consciously out of spite. Like, Tita Lors: Mm-hmm. Intentionally, yeah. Robin Axline: hello, this is what I deal with you're like lazy ass all the time, so here you go. Tita Lors: Yeah, I want you to know what this feels like. Robin Axline: That's I d rated that pretty high. And then Tita Lors: Mm-hmm. Robin Axline: trivial results. Hmm. It didn't do much, so it was pretty trivial. I gave it a seven for that. Tita Lors: Yeah. I think we're like pretty on par, maybe just off by like a point or a half a point or whatever. I agree with you as a reaction, but was it an overreaction? No. I feel like I mean as someone who's done this to me before, I went home. I just left. Like, you're there, I'm not, enjoy your life. Yeah. Yeah, is it spiteful? Hell yeah, but rightfully so. And it is trivial, like nothing happened. They had to wait as you have waited for them on multiple occasions. So yeah. Okay. Your storytime. Hit hit it even says bizarre. Robin Axline: Gosh, okay, it is bizarre. So this one actually came from the New York Post. And it's a neighbor who wouldn't stop blocking the driveway. Their driveway. so the title is New York City Neighbors Fight Inspires TikTok Trend to Harass Driveway Obsessed Homeowner. And so there's like these people that like literally out of spite like parked in front of his driveway and like filmed it just to see what he would do to like come out and be like out of my driveway kind of thing. So it starts out warning, beware of man. A years long feud between Brooklyn neighbors has sparked a crazy TikTok trend where strangers harass a short fused family by simply idling their cars in their driveway. Hundreds of drivers intentionally flock Frank Chen's Bensonhurst property, that's in Brooklyn, every week looking to capture his visceral reaction in what antagonizers have dubbed a New York City tourist attraction. The driveway dispute has led to dozens of viral videos of Chen sprinting out of his front door within seconds of the cars, pulling up in front of the no parking signs. He's plastered across his fence and spewing vitriol all over the drivers. The homeowners, age 65, hurled profanities, honked, and threatened to plow his car forward when the post pulled up on his driveway Tuesday after assuming the reporters were TikTokers. he says, I'm sick and tired of these TikTokers, he fumes, saying Tita Lors: Mm. I mean Robin Axline: he needs twenty-four seven I mean He's feeding the troll though. Tita Lors: No, but also th that would piss me off. Like okay, look, so the neighborhood that I used to live in when I was living with my aunt Robin Axline: Huh? Tita Lors: like these people would have How many cars did they have? Like six cars. And then they would park, like there's limited parking there. And to make I get it, six cars. It's a lot of like multifamily homes in that area because it's like culturally that's how it was. You're either Filipinos, some or like Pacific Islander or Hispanic, so it's multi-cultr multi-family homes, multi-generational homes. So you're gonna have a lot of people there. Fine, that's fine. But you have six cars and some of them you don't even use. You never even move it. Like so and you have a garage. You have a two car garage, two car driveway, and then you you're taking up all of the curb space right next to my aunt's house. And I was like, Okay, we also have we also did have a lot of cars, but we did our best to be respectful. And if we had to, we'd like park around the corner. But they would park So that it would block if you were in the driveway, sometimes you couldn't get out. Yeah. Exactly. And if I have to go to work, if I have to go like take like my grandma somewhere, if I have to like do stuff, yeah, you're b I will run your car over. Why is your car in my driveway? Like it's understandable if somebody who lives in my house blocks my driveway because then I could be like, Hey, move your car, please. But I don't know you. And there's plenty of space. Why are you blocking the driveway? It's yeah, and especially in like Brooklyn where space is limited, I totally understand why he wouldn't want anybody drive blocking his driveway. Robin Axline: Yeah. I just so far I'm getting like he's kind of feeding the troll though because it's almost like clockwork it seems that these people will pull up and then he comes out and he's all whoa like freak out I don't know. Tita Lors: And he looks like I don't know if he's an immigrant, but like Robin Axline: Yeah, yeah. Tita Lors: you know, what is what are you supposed to do in that situation? Like I get it, you're feeding the monster, but like then what happens? Like then people are just allowed to block you in. Then people get used to just being able to park in front of your driveway. Like you're never gonna do anything. So what's what are you supposed to do? Robin Axline: Yeah. No, that's a I mean, it's totally legit question. I just think you're kinda feeding the trolls. Because now that it's a TikTok phenomenon and even said something like it's like a tourist attraction like all right, so there's this picture in the article. It's like private property, stay away by not sitting, stepping, touching, or leaning. Okay. Tita Lors: Yeah, that sounds kind of crazy. Okay, sorry, keep Robin Axline: Yeah. Tita Lors: reading. Robin Axline: It's okay. so after the homeowner hurled profanities at the New York Post, thinking they were TikTokers, he said he needs twenty-four seven access because of his sick ninety-four year old father who lives inside. that's funny. Tita Lors: See? Robin Axline: That's what you say. I don't know why the TikTok people come here to harass us. We don't know each other. Why not leave us alone? We're not gonna move. This is my house. Don't bro block my driveway, said Chen. The bizarre social media trend took off earlier this month after a man claiming to be their neighbor captured Chen and his daughter circling his car and ordering him to move away from their driveway. The man did not respond to the post request for comment, encouraged the video's nearly seven million viewers to put the family to the test, in igniting dozens of copycat videos. Tita Lors: my god, this is bullying. Robin Axline: Yeah, that's true. This okay, yeah. Tita Lors: Wake Sorry, continue. Robin Axline: Well, I was just gonna add, this article literally came out a week from today, August 21st. As listeners, this will come out later, but as time of recording. So there's like a new TikTok trend. So let's see, let's see. dozens of coffee cap videos. As many as ten drivers show up daily. In c Tita Lors: Ten you guys this Sor, okay, continue. I will reserve. Robin Axline: Includ I know it's a lot. Including some middle of the night hecklers who rev their engines to wake up the family. that's not. No. Neighbors were caught on video hurling racist slurs and gestures at the family, too. no. The Chen say the harassment has been going on since they moved into the house in 2021, and noticed their driveway was a popular spot for their neighbors and delivery drivers to idle. One next door neighbor was captured screaming, my god, I didn't want to say this out loud. Something that's racist, yeah. At the family before speeding off. She says a slur she says was provoked by the Chen's aggressive behavior, which preceded the social media frenzy. Okay. They provoked me to say that because I couldn't even let my mother out of the car, said the neighbor, who asked only to be referred to as snow. okay, racist. Tita Lors: No, stupid. Fuck you, cunt. Like I don't say that often. Yeah, exactly. I don't I I don't use the C word that often. And we might have to blur it, but fuck you, cunt. Like my yeah, I have an ill family member inside of my house and if I have to get out and you're preventing me from keeping them alive, do you think I give a fuck about your life over my family's life? You're going to be the reason that they die. Cause you had to dri block my driveway. And then you wanna be a racist cunt. No one provoked you, no one asked you, no one told you to do any of that. Robin Axline: I like how they said I to do that. yeah. Tita Lors: Yeah, you had to. You had a gun to your head because they were being aggressive. Why were they being aggressive? If it isn't the consequences of your own dumbass behavior. Are you kidding me? Robin Axline: Why couldn't you let your mother out of the car in front of your house then, you stupid neighbor? Tita Lors: Exactly. Robin Axline: Stupid. Tita Lors: Like why right there? Yeah, because you don't want people to know that you're a racist cunt. Robin Axline: Alleging that the Chens followed her even after she pulled out of their driveway. Everyone stands behind me. Everyone s has said racist S-H-I-T short towards them, but it's because they provoke me provoke, comma. Me saying that wasn't towards the Asian community, comma. It was just towards that V I T C H. Not Tita Lors: That doesn't make you any less racist. Robin Axline: one bit. Snow admitted Tita Lors: Yes. Robin Axline: that it probably, probably wasn't right. This is in quotations. To Tita Lors: No, it a hundred percent wasn't right, you stupid. Robin Axline: hurl the ethnic slur at the Chens, but I hate her. Tita Lors: Good. Then stay the fuck away from her property. Robin Axline: The Chens have been nuisances towards neighbors for five years and don't even allow elderly pedestrians to rest beneath the sidewalk tree in front of their home, Snow says. Everyone's suffering because of their mental Tita Lors: Because you guys were assholes. Yeah, if you were Ugh. Robin Axline: problem, and that's not fair to everybody else, the neighbor said. If they had such a problem with property, they could simply go live on a farm and live in peace. if they don't like people that much, which they would choose why they would choose the city is beyond me. Tita Lors: You, you know what? I would follow you too. Because I would want to know where your house is. Because I would want to sit on your property and park my car in front of your driveway. I would want you to experience what I'm experiencing. So every damn day, I will block your driveway. I will go sit and loiter, which is what you're doing by the by. On your property. The fuck do you mean don't live in a city? How about you not be a racist bitch? How about your whole neighborhood not be racist? Because you have been racist and harassing these people for no reason since they moved in, other than the fact that they're ra Asian. Robin Axline: I it really points to that, unfortunately, I think. Tita Lors: Yeah, I don't if it was a white person getting angry at them, I don't think that this would be happening. Yeah. Ignorance, yeah. Yeah. Everybody stands behind me. Everyone has racist has said racist things towards them. So if everybody jumps off a cliff, I hope you jump too, bitch. What? I just said racist things because I don't like her. Robin Axline: That did that made zero sense. Tita Lors: Yeah, that doesn't make anything you just said. Okay. Robin Axline: Okay. neighbors have filed multiple 311 complaints claiming the Chens have an illegal driveway and have unpermitted construction going on in the home. great. The City Department of Buildings says it is sending inspectors in the coming days to investigate bolt claims through city records show the property has a legal driveway. Meanwhile, the NYPD has taken at least a dozen complaints from the Chens for harassment, all of which have been closed after probing, according to sources. cops advise the Chens to tone down their eruptions at idlers, but Chen cannot always help himself. Why are you doing this? Does this make your life better to harass people? Stop coming here to harass us, Chen implored the s Tita Lors: Valid. Robin Axline: social media wannabes. We are not going to move. This is my house and don't block my driveway. The end. Tita Lors: This is I like it's cyberbullying to an extent and like real in-life like IRL harassment because some guy got pissed off that he couldn't some white guy got pissed off that he couldn't park or idle his car wherever the fuck he wanted to. So he called a whole bunch of people to harass someone. He invited a whole bunch of people. He doxxed this person, invited a whole bunch of people to harass him. And this is how people die. Robin Axline: Yeah. That is that is some scary stuff, in fact. Tita Lors: Yeah. Robin Axline: Especially because the original poster of the TikTok has that's been seen so many times and now there's a bunch of copycats of it, that's scary. That means all these people ha that don't even live in New York know where this person lives now. Tita Lors: Yeah. That God, I'm so big mad about this. And I feel so bad for this family. That's not this isn't even petty, that it's harassment and it's dangerous. And what this guy did could get someone in this family killed. And I wish that that was me overreacting, but with all the things that have been happening in the media and all the things that happened, especially during COVID, people have died for less. people have died for simply existing. Just the fact that he exists and he's Asian and he exists in that neighborhood, somebody that's enough of a reason for somebody to want to hurt him and to want to hurt his daughter even because she's standing up for them. Like I get why the daughter wants to be anonymous because it's a danger to her safety if people know who she is. But why that racist cunt wants to be? No. You wanna be racist? You wanna like everybody backs you? Good. Say your name. Let people know who the fuck you are Robin Axline: Yeah, I don't blame them. Tita Lors: then. Robin Axline: This just spurred me to do a quick demographic. It says Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, has roughly forty point five percent Asians, thirty-three point six white people, twenty-two point seven Hispanic, and one point nine black residents. Huh, what a interesting combo. Huh. Tita Lors: Yeah. So it's most it's a mostly Asian see and that's wild too. It's a mostly Asian community and you still are not safe. The Robin Axline: Right? That's why it made me want to look it up. Tita Lors: Yeah. Like the privilege of being white is insane here. Robin Axline: Yeah, say that again. So wow. Yeah, I I origin initially saw this as kind of like a petty thing for these people to be parking and revving up their engines and doing these TikToks. And yes, that's petty, but then there's like a layer deeper where it truly is like a dangerous pettiness, I guess, if you will. Because these people have it no this is a term I don't really like. It's no skin off their nose that I don't know why I don't like that one. But that they can be doing this 'cause it's not hurting them. It's making them more like popular if anything. So Tita Lors: It's so funny they're engaging in a trend, but their trend is to harass and make the lives of these people miserable. For no for what? Because they piss somebody else off, not even you. Robin Axline: Whoa. Hmm, maybe I'll start doing that. No. Tita Lors: That I would right? That I would be like, props. Right? So now they don't have to be dealing with that bullshit. And how about I throw some shit at your car? How about I stand there with a paint gun? How about I harass you? Right? Like, you wanna be you wanna be popular so bad, then do something good with that. Yeah, it has nothing to do Yeah, 'cause it's not. Robin Axline: Like, think that that was even funny. Tita Lors: He's trying to protect himself and his family. He has an elderly father and a I don't know how y whatever, to him, his forever like young daughter, like yeah, yeah, yeah. And like the property one? Yeah. Because he doesn't want you parking in front of his driveway. I would also not want you in front of my driveway. You would also not want somebody in front of your driveway. Like if it's one thing if it's a onesie twosie thing here and there, but like Yeah. Robin Axline: Anyways, so on the surface this reads as super petty of these people, but it also really sucks. Tita Lors: Yeah. I think if we look into like the social justice of it all and dive into it, it's it's hee hee funny. I'm gonna drive by and like honk at this person and like just idle in their driveway. What? Bitch, it's New York. You're causing traffic. Robin Axline: Yeah. I didn't even like I watched some of them just so I could do my research, but I didn't even want to give them the clicks. Tita Lors: Yeah. Too late. That's dangerous. What specifically sorry, specifically what that guy did in doxing him and inviting people to bully him is so dangerous. Like I was just watching this thing on Netflix, Docu series on Netflix, where remember when they were like swatting people? Yeah, right? And like some people actually died because of that. Okay. Okay. Let's let's rate this. I know. Who who specifically are we rating? Are we rating Robin Axline: So now let's rate this monstrosity of a horrible story. Well Tita Lors: the the guy or are we rating the people? We can read the people. Robin Axline: Yeah, let's read the people. I think that's an easier angle. Tita Lors: Yeah. I'm I'm gonna take it out on the trivial results because the results are not trivial. Or the potential results. I feel like we talked. Do we need to go through our ratings? I'll I'll tell you why I did mine. I think it's an overreaction for somebody to say, you pissed me off, so now I'm gonna call a whole bunch of people over and dox you and ask them specifically to harass you. Fuck you. It is spiteful of that guy, but we're not specifically talking about that guy. We're talking about the the people so I did five and then this is not trivial. Like I said, somebody could die, so that that was low on my part. I saw you changed your score Robin Axline: Yes. She I know I broke the rules like I took it down Tita Lors: Yeah. Robin Axline: a a peg or two. Tita Lors: Okay, let's do let's do another one. This is from R slash A-I-T-A-H. I think this is the one that I was thinking of when we were doing the healed and unhinged episode. it's from Aloufra. Robin Axline: no. Sounds like a doozy. Okay. Tita Lors: It's kinda long. We might have to leave after this one. Might just be doing three stories today. Okay. My wife is turning forty two and her birthday I thought it was two. Robin Axline: My wife. Sorry. Tita Lors: And for her birthday, she came up with a fun, low key idea. Our family, me, my wife, our fifteen-year-old daughter, and our eleven-year-old son would stay home and each build our own themed board, charcuterie. I think they meant charcuterie board, but okay. Fruit, candy, dessert, chocolate, etc. She wanted to include her older sister, Sill, and Sill's fiance, together 20 plus years, engage for over a little engage for a little over a year. So we invited them to come over and make bring their own platters too. For context, Sill's fiancé has a severe nut allergy. He cannot eat nuts, but he can be in the same room as them. Airborne isn't an issue. I've seen him around nuts at numerous larger family gatherings. No, so Robin Axline: Sorry. Tita Lors: glad you laughed at that. Robin Axline: I've seen him around nuts. Okay. Tita Lors: J one more time for prosperity. I've seen him around nuts at numerous larger family gatherings over the years. My wife's family is of Lebanese descent, so traditional holiday spreads for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter regularly include nuts. And he handles being around those meals just fine. However, when the two of them come over to our place, our food options are strictly limited to Domino's or McDonald's because those are the only two places he trusts regarding cross-contamination, McDonald's especially. Yeah, okay. Yeah. blah blah. Okay, so we have happily accommodated this for the sixteen years my wife and I have been married. My daughter texted them explaining the theme so they knew what to expect, noting that while not everything could have nuts, a few things on our personal platters might contain them or traces of them, like certain chocolates or trail mixes. Syl got very upset. She called my wife to say they won't be attending because we clearly don't care about potentially putting him in harm's way. She went on a complete guilt trip saying how surprised and hurt she was by our lack of consideration. While she admitted we've accommodated his allergies for 16 years, she made it clear that this time they'd rather just take my wife out separately another day and let us do our thing. Good. Fucking good. Robin Axline: Then we won't have to sweat over your Yeah, anyways. Tita Lors: Now my wife feels guilty, hurt, and stressed on her own birthday. My daughter also feels bad because she sent the text. Aww I'm angry. This was my wife's idea for her day in our house. He doesn't have an airborne allergy. They were invited to bring their own safe boards and nobody was forcing him to eat from hours. I feel like after nearly two decades of catering every single family meal to his restrictions, my wife should be allowed to have the exact birthday dinner she wants in her own home without being guilt-tripped. AITAH for putting my wife's birthday wishes first instead of bending the entire menu around her brother in law. Robin Axline: think they should have just bought one of those like big bags of hamburgers, you know, that you can get at McDonald's. Like it's like twenty of those like cheeseburgers. Just called it a day. Do they have sesame seeds on those though? Or Tita Lors: Some buns. Who has buns? actually Burger King has sesame seeds and I know because I my daughter actually is allergic to sesame seeds. So that's something that we have to keep in mind that I forget constantly. that's not good. But she doesn't have that yeah, right? Like she doesn't have that it's not that bad of a reaction, luckily. for her. but yeah, like what do you mean? why you're coming to my house and I am being respectful. Like I feel like we just talked about this. I don't what were we talking about? Whatever. But like, yeah. Something about an allergy we were talking about. 'cause of the Oreos. Robin Axline: yes. I was like something about this thing s rings familiar. Okay, yeah. Tita Lors: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So like she's being r they the whole family's being respectful of the allergy. But I'm not going to cater my meals to you. Like when we have family dinners, that whole family thing isn't catered to you. So why is it different just because you're coming over to my house specifically? No. That's I don't even expect anybody to do that for my kids. And I have a kid with a peanut allergy. Right? I'm it it's when she eats it, not and it's not airborne. If it was airborne, then it'd be one thing. And I would say, I'm sorry, I cannot go because my daughter has a peanut allergy. That's not your fault that my daughter has a peanut allergy. It's not on you to like keep her safe. It's on me to keep her safe and on her to keep her safe. Like, I'm not gonna police you in your own house. Please don't come. You are more than welcome to not come. Plus it's my birthday, so I don't give a shit what you want. Robin Axline: Yeah, yeah. Tita Lors: For me, I'm gonna put up the sister in law for Petty here because husband is protecting wife. Husband is doing exactly what he needs to be doing and being like, No no no no. There's no reason for you to feel guilty or upset. You should not feel that way. It's your birthday. He's not gonna die quite literally because he's been around peanuts at every family fun he's been around nuts, juggling nuts at every numerous larger family gatherings. He can yeah, right. So husband, good on you. Bravo. Robin Axline: This is another example of like a pretty decent sounding husband, which is shocking, but Tita Lors: I know. Which is ironic considering the evening we've been having in this household. And some really great men. Robin Axline: I mean the dad was great and the other story and then now this husband's saying honey just don't trip like it's cool just stop It's not your fault And it's not that weird to Tita Lors: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. It's your birthday. Exactly. Robin Axline: have tutorial plates especially if everybody gets to bring one that sounds like a fun idea Tita Lors: Yeah. I hate shircuter boards, but like Robin Axline: I was not expecting that. Tita Lors: I don't wanna do it. I hate them. I don't eat anything that's on there. I don't care. That's that you know what? And that's probably Robin Axline: I love making them. I make the prettiest ones. Tita Lors: part of the reason why I hate them, because I can't make it pretty. So and half the things on a charcuterie board I want to eat anyways. So I'm like Robin Axline: Well, you could make your own and bring it to the party. Tita Lors: Exactly. I could, but I don't want to. Put the effort in. It's so much effort. For what? I'll just eat it out of the bag. It's fine. And then everything gets contaminated. But right, and then you have to throw it all Robin Axline: That's a hot take. That's true, that's true. Tita Lors: away. Like, my switch put this all back? Like everyone's grubby little hands have touched it. I don't Yes. It's all trash. So now if hardly anybody touched it or if it's like touched and picked at, but there's h still a lot of food on there, how much money did I just waste? Yeah. See? So it just Robin Axline: Good hot take on that. Tita Lors: I know. Everyone wants to do the coochie boards, and I'm just like Nah pass. Right. Yeah. Yeah, so let's let's rate her petty behavior. Okay. Robin Axline: You're the glue. Tita Lors: my, there we go. Huh? Glue. I have no No no no. Robin Axline: I thought you're reacting to me. Okay. so right. Spiteful behavior. That's a tough. Tita Lors: Is she being spiteful by not c she's deciding not to come? Yeah, 'cause who cares? Like you really don't care if you come. Happy Cappy Cat are. Robin Axline: No, this is like having a mind meld. Tita Lors: Okay, we got exactly the same results. We did exactly the same numbers. Robin Axline: That's cra that's nutty, if you will. Just juggling nuts. Yeah, yeah, juggle these nuts. Tita Lors: Juggle those nuts. my goodness. That's so funny. Yeah. Okay. So obviously sisters overreacting. I think we talked about it. and she's being spiteful by just deciding not to come. Like there's really no reason that she can't come. I would love to hear the husband's take on this. Like Yeah. 'Cause I also bet you, he's probably like, I don't care, let's fucking go. Yeah, I wanna go to this party, I wanna celebrate your sister, it's her birthday. Unless he's being a dick and instead of her directing her anger at him, she's directing it at her sister. Robin Axline: Highly likely I could see that too. Both of them overall are messed up, but yeah. Tita Lors: If you can juggle nuts at family events, you can juggle nuts at my sister's house. Yeah. And I figu like it's it's trivial. Who cares? Good. Don't show up. Yeah. I know. Yeah, for real. Probably has a whole bunch of boring stuff on it. Robin Axline: Yeah. It's probably like rice cakes and that's it. Unsalted ones. Tita Lors: Ugh. Unsalted rice cakes. Rice cakes, first of all, good. Unsalted. That tastes like nothing. Okay. Let's save your third petty battle story for next time. Okay, so next time you go first. I'm so glad that the the New York one didn't win. Sorry. Robin Axline: Me too. I d seriously didn't want to deal with that one again. No, don't be Tita Lors: Okay. Yay. Well that's our winner.
