• 0:20
Speaker 1: if the most important thing is doing good, you will
• 0:23
Speaker 1: end up purposeful. College is a scam, everybody.
• 0:26
Speaker 2: You got to stop sending your kids to college.
• 0:27
Speaker 1: You should get married as young as possible and have
• 0:29
Speaker 1: as many kids as possible. Go start a Turning Point

  Speaker 1: do the same.
• 0:45
  Speaker 3: Here I am.

Speaker 4: All right. Happy Monday morning, October 12th, 2026. My Dodgers
• 1:22
Speaker 4: lost yesterday, but it's still a happy morning because there's
• 1:24
Speaker 4: just so much news going on. Blake, how are we doing?
• 1:27
Speaker 5: Oh, we're doing splendid.
• 1:28
Speaker 4: Yeah, well, Blake beefed with the Pope this weekend.
• 1:31
Speaker 5: Oh, that wasn't great. You don't want to feel proud
• 1:33
Speaker 5: about doing that. But, of course, he was commenting on
• 1:36
Speaker 5: the planned execution of Major Hassan. And I disagree with
• 1:41
Speaker 5: his take, which is definitely a dicey position for a
• 1:45
Speaker 5: Catholic to be in.
• 1:46
Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, you are a very devoted Catholic. And,
• 1:49
Speaker 4: you know, to publicly come out against it, that's interesting.
• 1:52
Speaker 4: We'll get into that probably in a little bit. But yeah,
• 1:55
Speaker 4: the breaking news this Monday morning here from the YRefi
• 1:59
Speaker 4: studios in Phoenix, Arizona, is that Ilhan Omar's house has
• 2:03
Speaker 4: been raided, her D.C. home. This was a moment that
• 2:06
Speaker 4: we never, ever thought was going to happen. Nobody has
• 2:10
Speaker 4: the guts to do this, right? A sitting congresswoman, a
• 2:14
Speaker 4: Muslim sitting congresswoman at that. But here you go. You
• 2:16
Speaker 4: are looking at images from this morning of H.S.I., from
• 2:21
Speaker 4: the DHS. They are investigating this. They are looking into it.
• 2:25
Speaker 4: So the question is, what? What are they looking into? Now,
• 2:31
Speaker 4: we know because Tom Homan has said he doesn't want
• 2:33
Speaker 4: to get ahead of Todd Blanch, obviously the attorney general,
• 2:36
Speaker 4: that this is a DOJ matter, that he doesn't want
• 2:39
Speaker 4: to race ahead. But he did confirm there is an
• 2:41
Speaker 4: active investigation going on. And there's a lot of speculation
• 2:45
Speaker 4: about what it could be. They are mum at this point.
• 2:48
Speaker 4: So we'll have to speculate. So here are The four guesses.
• 2:53
Speaker 4: She's either getting investigated for one, immigration, citizenship, paperwork, fraud
• 2:58
Speaker 4: on her childhood, entry, and naturalization.
• 3:00
Speaker 3: We want that so bad.
• 3:01
Speaker 4: That would be, I think, the best one. This is
• 3:04
Speaker 4: the explanation given by sources close to the investigation. Agents
• 3:07
Speaker 4: are likely looking for evidence of material misrepresentation about family relationships,
• 3:12
Speaker 4: circumstances of arrival, or other details on forms filed by
• 3:17
Speaker 4: her father. Proven fraud and naturalization can support... Guess what?
• 3:21
Speaker 4: Denaturalization proceedings. Which I will note, this administration, it doesn't
• 3:25
Speaker 4: get as much attention. They have tried far harder to
• 3:29
Speaker 4: actually denaturalize people who engaged in fraud to get citizenship.
• 3:32
Speaker 4: That used to be a one person per presidential term.
• 3:36
Speaker 4: They've actually done this. I think they've initiated it on
• 3:39
Speaker 4: several hundred, maybe thousands of people. Thousands, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 3:41
Speaker 4: I looked it up. Thousands. Which, by the way, I
• 3:44
Speaker 4: understand that. the pushback is going to be, well, that's
• 3:46
Speaker 4: not enough. Well, we don't have the resources to do
• 3:48
Speaker 4: much more, but we have to start doing this and
• 3:52
Speaker 4: we need to get more resources involved. And it's a huge,
• 3:54
Speaker 4: huge new development. All right. So that's theory one, immigration paperwork.
• 3:59
Speaker 4: Number two, a broader immigration fraud allegations, including the longstanding theory.
• 4:05
Speaker 4: And it is just a theory about the brother marriage claim. Okay.
• 4:08
Speaker 4: Homan previously referenced marriage fraud possibilities. So this is Tom Homan,
• 4:13
Speaker 4: border czar, Those specific older claims have been denied by Omar,
• 4:17
Speaker 4: let's just be clear, treated as unproven by many fact-checkers.
• 4:20
Speaker 4: So if you look at Snopes or any of these types,
• 4:23
Speaker 4: they're going to say, you know, it's not proven, it's
• 4:26
Speaker 4: a conspiracy theory. But they could face potential statute of
• 4:32
Speaker 4: limitation issues because it happened so long ago, right? But
• 4:36
Speaker 4: the current probe appears focused on the original childhood paperwork.
• 4:39
Speaker 4: So theory number two, I'm going to say the married...
• 4:42
Speaker 4: Her brother claim is probably not what this is about.
• 4:44
Speaker 3: Unfortunately, I've looked into that.
• 4:46
Speaker 5: I think a lot of people say that might just
• 4:47
Speaker 5: be past statute of limitations by now. I would love
• 4:50
Speaker 5: it if they could find the truth about that. Even
• 4:52
Speaker 5: if they can't charge it, if they just say, this happened,
• 4:55
Speaker 5: by the way, that would be a big win.
• 4:57
Speaker 4: Yeah. Theory number three. Financial related issues or family matters.
• 5:03
Speaker 4: Omar has faced scrutiny over large swings in reported personal
• 5:07
Speaker 4: finances and disclosures and has been linked to to criticism
• 5:12
Speaker 4: of Minnesota fraud scandals involving the Somali community. So there's
• 5:15
  Speaker 4: been a longstanding suspicion, and it's just a suspicion, I
• 5:19
Speaker 4: can't prove it, but maybe the DOJ or HSI can,
• 5:23
Speaker 4: that all of that fraud that we saw in the
• 5:25
Speaker 4: Somali community that Nick Shirley helped expose, that so many
• 5:28
Speaker 4: others helped expose at City Journal and Daily Wire, that
• 5:32
Speaker 4: potentially she might be wrapped up in some of that.
• 5:35
Speaker 5: Well, let's remember, she had her net worth reported at
• 5:38
Speaker 5: six to $ 30 million. And then when that got noticed,
• 5:41
Speaker 5: she came out and said, Oh no, no, that's revised
• 5:45
  Speaker 5: it down.
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 5:46
Speaker 5: And one wonders if she in her, in a kind
• 5:49
Speaker 5: of dumb way was trying to distract from maybe something,
• 5:53
Speaker 5: another person on her staff, someone preparing her paperwork divulged
• 5:57
Speaker 5: a little more than they were supposed to.
• 5:59
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 5:59
Speaker 4: And she basically, she puts it on her husband, this
• 6:02
Speaker 4: new husband that she has. that he's some sort of
• 6:05
Speaker 4: investment guy or whatever, and that's how they got their
• 6:07
Speaker 4: net worth. But then they revised it down, so none
• 6:09
Speaker 4: of it makes sense. But this is very Somali. It's
• 6:12
Speaker 4: like the most Somali thing ever to just sort of like, oh,
• 6:15
  Speaker 4: what's accounting? What's a CPA? We don't do that where
• 6:20
Speaker 4: I'm from. So anyways, that's very interesting. Okay, now the
• 6:22
Speaker 4: fourth theory would be from the critics of the Trump administration.
• 6:26
Speaker 4: They're going to claim that this is just political targeting,
• 6:29
Speaker 4: that this is selective enforcement, okay? And roughly three weeks
• 6:33
Speaker 4: before the midterms, a lot of people are claiming that
• 6:35
Speaker 4: this is midterm interference. They're trying to gin up votes
• 6:39
Speaker 4: for the midterm. And Omar's status as a frequent target
• 6:41
Speaker 4: of President Trump's criticism will be their proof. OK, I
• 6:45
Speaker 4: have also given her frequent criticisms. A lot of conservatives do,
• 6:49
Speaker 4: because have you ever heard this woman talk? It's like
• 6:52
Speaker 4: nails on a chalkboard. Absolutely the most investigate that crime.
• 6:58
Speaker 4: That is a crime against humanity in and of itself.
• 7:01
Speaker 4: So those are the four theories. Immigration paperwork from childhood
• 7:05
Speaker 4: entry and naturalization, which is probably the answer. This is
• 7:09
Speaker 4: what some of the behind-the-scenes sources have leaked out some
• 7:11
Speaker 4: of the reporting we've seen. So let's hope that's what
• 7:14
  Speaker 4: it is.
• 7:14
Speaker 5: They want to find that because that's the only way
• 7:16
Speaker 5: you can denaturalize. And that's like the white whale. If
• 7:19
Speaker 5: you could actually denaturalize, strip the citizenship from Ilhan Omar
• 7:24
Speaker 5: because her arrival here was fraudulent from the start. And
• 7:28
Speaker 5: then she used it to feed into crime schemes that
• 7:31
Speaker 5: we know a lot of Somali immigration rings are involved in.
• 7:37
Speaker 5: It would be tremendous, not just for its own sake,
• 7:38
  Speaker 5: because she's a radical, anti-American, pro-various terrorist groups congresswoman. But
• 7:45
Speaker 5: it would also be a win because I think it
• 7:46
Speaker 5: would be so high profile, it would really force people
• 7:49
  Speaker 5: to reckon with.
• 7:51
Speaker 3: What we have with our immigration system. Which is, there
• 7:53
  Speaker 3: are entire....
• 7:57
Speaker 5: Thousands of people who have a lot of asabiyah with
• 7:59
Speaker 5: each other, a lot of camaraderie within their groups, they
• 8:02
Speaker 5: can coordinate aggressively to exploit our system, which is built
• 8:07
Speaker 5: for people being fundamentally pretty individualistic and fundamentally honest. And
• 8:11
Speaker 5: there are just a lot of people around the world...
• 8:13
Speaker 5: who are not like that. And America's a feeding frenzy
• 8:16
Speaker 5: for groups like that. That's how they end up going. Yeah,
• 8:19
Speaker 5: they come in and they just say, okay, you start
• 8:22
Speaker 5: this fake daycare, you start this fake Medicaid, this travel
• 8:26
Speaker 5: company for transporting people, you have this other fake home
• 8:30
Speaker 5: care business, bam, bam, bam, we can put them all
• 8:32
Speaker 5: in this building, you can get tons of money.
• 8:35
Speaker 4: Let's listen to CNN here. They're freaking out about this raid.
• 8:39
Speaker 4: They just can't believe it. You can't do this to
• 8:41
  Speaker 4: one of ours.
• 8:42
  Speaker 2: Satu.
• 8:43
Speaker 5: Learning that federal officers have conducted a search and did
• 8:47
Speaker 5: so early today at the home of Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
• 8:51
Speaker 7: It appears to be some level of an immigration investigation,
• 8:56
Speaker 7: but it is quite notable. It's in the middle of
• 8:58
Speaker 7: an election season and that this is a sitting member
• 9:00
Speaker 7: of Congress running for reelection. It is a policy that
• 9:04
Speaker 7: the Department of Justice needs to take a lot of
• 9:06
Speaker 7: precautions in the 60 days before an election. We are
• 9:10
Speaker 7: well into that. We are not even a month away.
• 9:14
Speaker 7: It is unusual for the Justice Department to make such
• 9:17
Speaker 7: what they would call an overt investigative step.
• 9:19
Speaker 4: All right, it is unusual, but let's just be clear.
• 9:23
Speaker 4: They had to get a warrant for this. So they
• 9:25
Speaker 4: submitted their evidence to a magistrate who signed off on this. Okay,
• 9:30
Speaker 4: so that was the breaking story this morning. It was
• 9:33
Speaker 4: like Christmas in October. Or was it Halloween? You know,
• 9:37
Speaker 4: with Ilhan Omar, let's go with Halloween. Let's go with
• 9:39
Speaker 4: the Halloween theme because, you know, it just feels fitting. Anyways,
• 9:43
Speaker 4: that's the breaking news. She's getting raided. We think it's
• 9:46
Speaker 4: about paperwork issue, which could lead to a denaturalization process
• 9:50
Speaker 4: being pursued with her, which I think would be great
• 9:53
Speaker 4: for the whole country. There was a clip and we're
• 9:55
Speaker 4: going to get into this with Jesse Kelly in just
• 9:58
Speaker 4: a few minutes here. But, you know, there was a
• 10:00
Speaker 4: clip of El-Sayed saying, hey, America, it's America's obligation to
• 10:04
Speaker 4: open the borders and all this stuff. And I would
• 10:06
Speaker 4: just admit to you, are we a stronger country because
• 10:10
Speaker 4: we have Abdul El-Sayed, because we have Hassan Piker, because
• 10:13
Speaker 4: we have Ilhan Omar, because we have Mamdani? Are we
• 10:15
Speaker 4: a stronger country or are we weaker? Send us your emails.
• 10:19
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 10:20
  Speaker 4: I mean, I assume I know the answer, but I
• 10:22
Speaker 4: want to hear your thoughts on this because we have
• 10:25
Speaker 4: railed against immigration on this show probably more than any
• 10:28
Speaker 4: other topic because it, as Blake aptly said, it is
• 10:31
Speaker 4: the fix everything switch. And it is absolutely insane because
• 10:34
Speaker 4: our founders never envisioned this. They never envisioned a country
• 10:37
Speaker 4: where we're having to make peace and make, like, there
• 10:40
Speaker 4: is a tweet from Ilhan Omar talking about the rule
• 10:43
Speaker 4: of law in 2023 going after President Trump. Imagine the
• 10:48
Speaker 4: absolute demoralization campaign that it takes for us to get
• 10:51
Speaker 4: lectured by a Somali about the rule of law. A
• 10:54
Speaker 4: country that has none.
• 10:55
Speaker 5: Not merely just, but not merely lectured. Like, they will
• 10:58
Speaker 5: lecture you and then have a totally different understanding of
• 11:01
Speaker 5: what that means from.
• 11:04
Speaker 3: Two and a half centuries of American experience.
• 11:06
Speaker 5: We see this, that you'll have Pramila Jayapal and all
• 11:10
Speaker 5: these other radical lefties. They'll come in, and then not
• 11:13
Speaker 5: only are they on the far left of our political spectrum,
• 11:15
Speaker 5: what that manifests as is they're actually much more willing
• 11:20
Speaker 5: to restrict speech, very radical about wanting to restrict the
• 11:23
Speaker 5: right to bear arms, very radical about wanting to restrict
• 11:26
Speaker 5: The economy, they want to bring in like a socialized economy,
• 11:29
Speaker 5: very much associated with countries that they originated from, the
• 11:32
Speaker 5: views of people they came from, and not in line
• 11:37
Speaker 5: with the American experience that made us the country they
• 11:39
Speaker 5: wanted to move to in the first place.
• 11:40
Speaker 4: Yeah, well, and we're going to get in this Talrico
• 11:42
Speaker 4: story here in just a second, but I got to
• 11:44
Speaker 4: play this clip because she is just, like I said,
• 11:47
Speaker 4: nails on a chalkboard. Listen to her. And she's so
• 11:50
Speaker 4: arrogant because that's just the way she is. She's just
• 11:54
Speaker 4: a peach. Stop five.
• 11:56
Speaker 5: No, I mean– listen.
• 12:00
Speaker 6: Suggest all you want.
• 12:02
Speaker 5: Please investigate all you want, right?
• 12:04
Speaker 4: Oh, okay. Well, I guess they took her up on that.
• 12:07
Speaker 4: Investigate all you want. She says she's not worried about it. She's–
• 12:10
Speaker 4: the right wing always has this SIH, SHI, whatever going on,
• 12:16
Speaker 4: so I'm not that worried about it. Okay, she's not
• 12:18
Speaker 4: worried about it. We'll see where it plays out. I'm
• 12:20
Speaker 4: not even saying she did anything wrong. I'm saying if
• 12:22
Speaker 4: she doesn't mind the investigation, she said investigate all you want.
• 12:25
Speaker 4: Good for Todd Blanch. Good for HSI. Let's see where
• 12:27
Speaker 4: it leads. The other story, however, is Talrico. Talrico went missing.
• 12:32
Speaker 4: MIA Talrico. This was hilarious. OK, so then he shows
• 12:36
Speaker 4: up at the Austin City Limits, which is a big,
• 12:39
Speaker 4: you know, music festival tech kind of scene in Austin.
• 12:43
Speaker 4: And he just kind of shows up. You know, we
• 12:46
Speaker 4: had Mark Halpert on on Friday and he was like, well,
• 12:48
Speaker 4: he could be. setting the stage for some big reveal,
• 12:50
Speaker 4: like jumping out of a cake somewhere.
• 12:53
Speaker 3: Raised $ 40 million or something.
• 12:54
Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. Some, like, huge thing. Well, no, that's not
• 12:57
Speaker 4: what it was. He just kind of showed up, and
• 12:59
Speaker 4: then he was speaking with a reporter about where he'd gone.
• 13:01
  Speaker 4: Here's his answer. Sod 7.
• 13:03
Speaker 8: You were off the campaign for more than a week,
• 13:04
Speaker 8: roughly nine days, I believe. Your campaign said you had
• 13:07
  Speaker 8: the flu.
• 13:08
  Speaker 4: What happened?
• 13:08
Speaker 9: Yeah, I got the flu, and I'm feeling much better,
• 13:12
  Speaker 9: and I'm glad I had a chance to recover. I
• 13:14
Speaker 9: just went to my primary care physician, but it wasn't
• 13:17
Speaker 9: anything worse than a nasty case of the flu.
• 13:20
Speaker 8: Conservative folks on Twitter and some of Paxton's ally were
• 13:23
Speaker 8: pushing the idea that you had a stress-induced episode and
• 13:27
Speaker 8: were getting treatment for it.
• 13:28
Speaker 4: What are your thoughts? Did that happen?
• 13:30
Speaker 9: That's not true. I just had the flu, and I
• 13:33
Speaker 9: feel much better. But it's a good reminder that you
• 13:35
Speaker 9: can't believe everything you read on the Internet.
• 13:38
Speaker 4: All right, so... I, and this is the other thing
• 13:40
Speaker 4: I want to hear from the audience here and see
• 13:42
Speaker 4: if there's emails coming in right now. I'm assuming they
• 13:44
Speaker 4: are freedom at charliekirk.com. If you were out for nine
• 13:48
Speaker 4: days and basically it was like, there's some people saying
• 13:51
Speaker 4: he's essentially been MIA for 12. Really? Um, I think
• 13:54
Speaker 4: he sort of, but we'll say not just to be conservative,
• 13:58
Speaker 4: but some say 12, some say two weeks, whatever you
• 14:01
Speaker 4: want to say, but it's, let's say nine. If you
• 14:03
Speaker 4: were out for nine days with the flu, is that
• 14:05
Speaker 4: what you look like after nine days? Or do you
• 14:07
Speaker 4: look gaunt and famished? I mean, not to say that
• 14:09
Speaker 4: the guy's ever looked not gaunt. So that's part of
• 14:13
Speaker 4: the problem here. The guy hasn't been eating meat for
• 14:15
Speaker 4: a number of years. He wanted to beat meat. That
• 14:17
Speaker 4: was his slogan, according to President Trump, at least. So
• 14:22
Speaker 4: the point is, you go into the flu, you have
• 14:24
Speaker 4: this flu, you're holed up. Is that what you look like?
• 14:29
Speaker 4: Or is something else going on here? Now, So I
• 14:33
Speaker 4: accidentally waded into this on X last night, and I
• 14:36
Speaker 4: just said, listen, guys, regardless of whether he was at
• 14:38
Speaker 4: a mental health facility or not, you don't bail on
• 14:42
Speaker 4: your campaign for almost two weeks, probably the biggest job
• 14:46
Speaker 4: interview of your life, and not find that disqualifying. Now,
• 14:50
Speaker 4: that being said, we have to tell the audience what
• 14:53
Speaker 4: happens over the weekend. There was some folks on X
• 14:58
Speaker 4: that suggested that they had proof that he had actually
• 15:00
Speaker 4: flown to Cincinnati to a mental health facility. Well, the
• 15:03
Speaker 4: mental health facility is now saying they're denying that they're
• 15:06
Speaker 4: saying straight up. That didn't happen. He never was served here.
• 15:09
Speaker 4: But here's the issue. The whole campaign handled this so
• 15:13
Speaker 4: ham fistedly that we don't really know what the story
• 15:15
Speaker 4: is unless you're just, you know, inclined to believe James Taurico.
• 15:19
Speaker 4: Do you guys believe this explanation that it was the flu?
• 15:22
Speaker 4: Do you think something else is going on here? It
• 15:24
Speaker 4: was very, very strange, Blake. And you are not a
• 15:26
Speaker 4: conspiracy theorist. You are contrarian to every conspiracy theory. But
• 15:30
Speaker 4: you have to at least admit it was handled bizarrely.
• 15:33
Speaker 4: So what stands out is it is weird. You just
• 15:35
Speaker 4: don't see candidates disappear for as long as he did. Now,
• 15:39
Speaker 4: even Mark Halperin was saying there's a lot of potential explanations.
• 15:43
Speaker 4: So he could be secretly fundraising somewhere. It looks bad.
• 15:46
Speaker 5: It could be a somewhat ambitious strategy of they think.
• 15:49
Speaker 5: When he's out there more, it hurts him, whereas when
• 15:51
Speaker 5: the focus is more on Paxton, it hurts Paxton, so
• 15:53
Speaker 5: you want more of a focus on him. Another possibility,
• 15:56
Speaker 5: and I talked to Dave Weigel at Semaphore, a good
• 15:58
Speaker 5: reporter that we're friends with, and he threw out the
• 16:00
Speaker 5: possibility that maybe, really, he was maybe better by nine
• 16:04
Speaker 5: days or so, and that's when people started talking about it,
• 16:06
Speaker 5: and they thought, let's let this play out. They might
• 16:08
Speaker 5: hurt themselves by overreaching here. All of that was possible,
• 16:13
Speaker 5: and I think people fixated on one potential interpretation that
• 16:16
Speaker 5: was really, really... salacious and dramatic, which, if true, I mean,
• 16:21
Speaker 5: you would understand why people would want to run with that.
• 16:23
Speaker 5: But I don't know that actual hard proof has been
• 16:26
  Speaker 5: forthcoming yet.
• 16:26
Speaker 4: So there was, it was all the speculation on the
• 16:28
Speaker 4: internet about, was there a plane that Reid Hoffman set
• 16:31
Speaker 4: up to take him from Austin to Ohio? We don't
• 16:34
Speaker 4: know any of that. We can't prove any of that.
• 16:37
Speaker 4: But we can say that it would be a HIPAA
• 16:39
Speaker 4: violation of this mental health facility to admit either way. Gigantic. Yeah,
• 16:44
Speaker 4: so whatever happened, they have one move here. Their one
• 16:49
Speaker 4: move is to deny, deny, deny, get the heck out, CYA, abort, abort, abort.
• 16:55
Speaker 4: So even if it's true, they would be fools to
• 16:58
Speaker 4: allow any of that in the public. They have publicly
• 17:00
Speaker 4: said it didn't happen. Okay. We just know that it
• 17:02
Speaker 4: would be a HIPAA violation. It was worded strangely. Got
• 17:05
Speaker 4: to get the wording. We'll do that on the other side.
• 17:08
Speaker 4: So we have questions. We don't have answers, but here's
• 17:11
Speaker 4: where we can sum it up. You shouldn't be bailing
• 17:14
Speaker 4: on a campaign, even with the flu. Do a phoner
• 17:16
Speaker 4: and be like, I'm all up. Guys, I'm really down low. Like,
• 17:20
Speaker 4: just do a phoner. Just get your voice out there.
• 17:23
Speaker 4: Nine days. Nine days. It was really like 12, though. Like,
• 17:27
Speaker 4: to be fair. And then he just shows up walking
• 17:29
Speaker 4: around at ACL. It's very strange. Very strange. In my opinion, disqualifying.
• 17:34
Speaker 4: It shows the type of campaign. And by the way,
• 17:35
Speaker 4: all those staffers that handled this so poorly, they're going
• 17:38
Speaker 4: to be staffed in his office if he gets elected senator.
• 17:42
Speaker 4: So that's also another disqualifying element here. All right. Without
• 17:48
Speaker 4: further ado, I'm so glad to have this guest on.
• 17:51
Speaker 4: Jesse Kelly. Jesse, you're the host of the nationally syndicated
• 17:55
Speaker 4: Jesse Kelly show. You are an awesome talent when it
• 17:58
Speaker 4: comes to commentary. One of my favorite ex follows because
• 18:01
Speaker 4: you just you just have a way with with words,
• 18:04
Speaker 4: my friend. You just tell it like it is. Um,
• 18:07
Speaker 4: and it's a, please check them out. Jesse Kelly, DC,
• 18:10
Speaker 4: but you're not in DC anymore. You're in Texas, but
• 18:12
Speaker 4: that's all right. Um, Jesse, there's so much going on,
• 18:15
Speaker 4: but why don't we just, I'll, I, we just covered
• 18:18
Speaker 4: the Talrico thing, kind of sum it up from your perspective.
• 18:21
Speaker 4: I mean, that's a huge race in your state. Um,
• 18:23
Speaker 4: what do you make of it? All the rumors going
• 18:25
Speaker 4: around and his explanation.
• 18:27
Speaker 6: Well, his explanation is not good, and there is no
• 18:29
Speaker 6: explanation that's good. I mean, everybody who watches this wonderful
• 18:32
Speaker 6: show understands this because we're all political nerds. But the
• 18:36
Speaker 6: last month before an election is obviously the most critical month.
• 18:39
Speaker 6: I know that's not exactly breaking news. I ran for
• 18:42
Speaker 6: Congress and lost twice. But I was the Republican nominee.
• 18:46
Speaker 6: And I'm telling you, I didn't see my family for
• 18:48
Speaker 6: a month. You don't hardly sleep. It's all you get
• 18:51
Speaker 6: fat because it's all fast food because it's event after
• 18:54
Speaker 6: event after fundraise. It is breakneck speed the last month.
• 18:59
Speaker 6: And that was for a congressional race, a race in
• 19:01
Speaker 6: the House. The Senate has 100 seats. They call it
• 19:04
Speaker 6: the most exclusive club in the world. James Tallarico, whatever
• 19:07
Speaker 6: poll you want to believe, appears to have a shot
• 19:11
Speaker 6: at winning one of those seats. You don't take 12
• 19:14
Speaker 6: days off under any circumstances if that's the case. If
• 19:19
Speaker 6: you so happen to get the flu, if that whole
• 19:22
Speaker 6: lie is actually true, if you got the flu, your donors,
• 19:26
Speaker 6: your campaign staff would pay the finest doctors in America
• 19:30
Speaker 6: to rally around you and have you pumped so full
• 19:33
Speaker 6: of fluids and antibiotics because they would know 24, 48
• 19:37
Speaker 6: hours has got to be back out there. We don't
• 19:39
Speaker 6: have time for this. You don't go and nurse a
• 19:41
Speaker 6: tummy for 12 days. So I don't know the total
• 19:45
Speaker 6: truth of what happened, but I know the flu is
• 19:48
Speaker 6: a bunch of crap.
• 19:49
Speaker 4: I know something's going on here, Jesse. I totally agree.
• 19:52
Speaker 4: You don't nurse a tummy ache, James Talrico, for nine,
• 19:55
Speaker 4: 12 days, whatever the number is. It was basically 12.
• 19:59
  Speaker 4: Here's what I can't figure out. Jesse, why doesn't he
• 20:01
Speaker 4: pick up the phone and start phoning in at radio
• 20:03
Speaker 4: shows and just being like, hey, I'm super under the weather,
• 20:06
Speaker 4: got this flu, but nothing's going to hold me back.
• 20:09
Speaker 4: I'm calling in. You know, if I got to take
• 20:12
Speaker 4: an emergency trip to the bathroom, sorry guys, but I'm
• 20:15
Speaker 4: leaving nothing out on the field. I'm going, I'm going.
• 20:17
Speaker 4: None of that. No warrior spirit, no nothing. Something doesn't
• 20:21
  Speaker 4: make sense here.
• 20:23
Speaker 5: I mean, it's possible he could just have been literally
• 20:25
Speaker 5: not able to walk or something for a while.
• 20:27
Speaker 4: Then give him the phone next to his head. Anyways.
• 20:30
Speaker 6: I'm 45 years old. I've been sick many times in
• 20:33
Speaker 6: my life. I'm not a naturally sickly person, but we've
• 20:35
Speaker 6: all after so much time been sick. I've never been
• 20:37
Speaker 6: down for 12 days. I've never been down for 12
• 20:40
Speaker 6: days with anything ever in my life. And the problem
• 20:43
Speaker 6: for team Tallarico right now is the only explanation that
• 20:48
Speaker 6: makes sense is the explanation that he was checked into
• 20:51
Speaker 6: a facility. So it's the only explanation.
• 20:53
  Speaker 2: That makes sense.
• 20:54
Speaker 6: The flu doesn't make sense.
• 20:55
  Speaker 2: Nothing.
• 20:56
Speaker 6: Nothing else checks all the boxes of making sense. I
• 20:59
Speaker 6: don't know that we're We have or even we're going
• 21:02
Speaker 6: to have final black and white confirmation of what actually happened.
• 21:06
Speaker 6: But the problem is the only believable thing that explains disappearing.
• 21:10
Speaker 6: And like Blake said, you can't call in. Why wouldn't
• 21:13
Speaker 6: you be able to call in? Even if you've got
• 21:15
Speaker 6: the flu, you could even tell the host because it
• 21:17
Speaker 6: would be a friendly host. Hey, I'm sure his name
• 21:19
Speaker 6: would be Gavin or something. Hey, Gavin, I'm a little
• 21:23
Speaker 6: under the weather. Could you keep it to a question
• 21:25
Speaker 6: or two? Because then I have to go puke or something.
• 21:27
Speaker 6: You could do that. But nothing disappearing? That does not happen.
• 21:31
Speaker 6: I have never seen it. I've followed politics for 20
• 21:34
Speaker 6: years of my life like a total nerd. I have
• 21:37
Speaker 6: never seen or heard of anything like that in my life, ever.
• 21:40
Speaker 4: Yeah, this is unprecedented. I've never seen anything like this.
• 21:43
Speaker 4: And you have very veteran campaign strategists that are going
• 21:47
Speaker 4: all over the news saying, nobody's ever seen anything like this.
• 21:50
Speaker 4: And so my point is, I don't really care what
• 21:52
Speaker 4: the explanation is. This is a clue... For voters to
• 21:58
Speaker 4: see how this man would run his life, his office,
• 22:00
Speaker 4: the Senate office for Texans. It just it just screw
• 22:03
Speaker 4: off for a couple of weeks. And by the way,
• 22:05
Speaker 4: he's he's the main guy. Remember when the whole house
• 22:09
Speaker 4: in Texas was trying to avoid legislating and they got
• 22:12
Speaker 4: out of Dodge? He was one of the main spokesmen.
• 22:14
Speaker 4: He he has now a trend, a history of just
• 22:16
Speaker 4: kind of going away, leaving, leaving the scene. That's what happened.
• 22:21
Speaker 4: So to me, it doesn't really matter. Now, the other
• 22:24
Speaker 4: big story this morning is Ilhan Omar. She's getting rated
• 22:28
Speaker 4: by HSI. I saw you comment on this clip, Jesse.
• 22:32
Speaker 4: So I'm just going to, it's from Abdul El-Sayed, but
• 22:34
Speaker 4: to me, Ilhan and Abdul, they're all, they're all the
• 22:37
Speaker 4: same part of the same blob. So I'm going to
• 22:39
Speaker 4: play this and get your reaction to it. It's not 11.
• 22:42
Speaker 10: We've also got to make sure that in this state,
• 22:44
Speaker 10: we are not discriminating by documentation status. Right now, if
• 22:47
  Speaker 10: you're undocumented, you don't get access to a driver's license.
• 22:50
  Speaker 6: So you're stuck.
• 22:51
Speaker 10: You don't get access to a lot of the basic
• 22:53
Speaker 10: things the state offers everybody else. And I think that's ridiculous.
• 22:55
Speaker 10: And so we've got to stop discriminating that way. And
• 22:58
Speaker 10: I also believe that we've got to make sure that
• 23:00
Speaker 10: if we're honest and serious about... empowering our immigrant communities,
• 23:04
Speaker 10: then we've got to put some money behind making sure
• 23:06
Speaker 10: that folks have the access to be able to train
• 23:09
Speaker 10: in their profession of choice, to be able to get re-licensed,
• 23:14
Speaker 10: to do what they do here in the United States,
• 23:16
Speaker 10: and invest in basic things like English language training.
• 23:19
Speaker 2: Would refugees be a part of this plan?
• 23:21
  Speaker 6: Absolutely.
• 23:22
Speaker 10: We as a country, I believe, owe it to the
• 23:25
Speaker 10: world to open our doors.
• 23:27
Speaker 4: Oh, okay. So, Egyptian summer boy with the United Arab
• 23:32
Speaker 4: Emirates vacation home that advocates for Sharia law tells us, Jesse,
• 23:39
Speaker 4: that it is our obligation to the world to open
• 23:42
Speaker 4: up the doors to the third world. Your take.
• 23:45
Speaker 6: Well, Well, I've said many times before that politics, winning
• 23:50
Speaker 6: in politics, it involves a lot of boring, unsexy things.
• 23:54
Speaker 6: We care about the latest Senate race and everyone cares
• 23:56
Speaker 6: about the presidency, but who's on your school board? I've
• 23:59
Speaker 6: talked about that a million times. There's a million unsexy
• 24:02
Speaker 6: things that have to be done, knocking on doors and
• 24:04
Speaker 6: things like that before you actually win in politics. There's
• 24:08
Speaker 6: no magic bullet. I've said that many times before, no
• 24:11
  Speaker 6: one thing. But I I don't know that I'm 100%
• 24:13
Speaker 6: correct about that because immigration really is that one thing.
• 24:17
Speaker 6: And people can choose to believe or not believe that,
• 24:19
Speaker 6: but the communists will tell you that all day, every day.
• 24:22
Speaker 6: It's not an accident. It's happening in the UK. It's
• 24:24
Speaker 6: happening in France. It's happening in Germany. It's happening across,
• 24:28
Speaker 6: formerly maybe, hopefully not, Christian-based Western civilization. And we remember
• 24:32
Speaker 6: what Joe Biden and the communists around him did with
• 24:34
Speaker 6: four years, 20 to 25 million people. The communist believes.
• 24:38
Speaker 4: This is the magic bullet.
• 24:39
Speaker 6: And if you look at the way these things happen,
• 24:41
Speaker 6: the way people vote when they come in, the way
• 24:44
Speaker 6: they continue to expand, the communist is probably correct. With
• 24:47
Speaker 6: the mass importation of foreigners, we cannot possibly stop the
• 24:51
Speaker 6: communist revolution. They will succeed. With the mass deportation of foreigners,
• 24:55
Speaker 6: the communists cannot win. The Democrat Party is a 20% party.
• 24:59
  Speaker 6: They're not 55. They're not 45. They're not even 30.
• 25:03
Speaker 6: They are a 20% party, and you know this because
• 25:05
Speaker 6: they take the 20% side of virtually every single issue.
• 25:08
Speaker 6: So what explains that? 20% side of every single issue,
• 25:12
Speaker 6: yet they're roughly half of the House, roughly half of
• 25:14
Speaker 6: the Senate, coin flip midterms. What explains that? It explains
• 25:18
Speaker 6: that that they brought in millions and millions of foreign barbarians,
• 25:21
Speaker 6: and those are their new constituency. The Democrats do not
• 25:24
Speaker 6: have a domestic constituency anymore. They have a few domestic
• 25:28
Speaker 6: idiots who believe that they're still on their side. But
• 25:30
Speaker 6: the Democrat Party as a whole has completely moved away
• 25:33
Speaker 6: from Americans. They are the party exclusively of foreigners.
• 25:36
Speaker 5: Yeah, you mentioned how critical it is. It's not even
• 25:38
Speaker 5: just that Biden threw open the gates. I think it's
• 25:40
Speaker 5: worth reminding people the last three months before the 24 election, You.
• 25:44
Speaker 3: Can look this up.
• 25:45
Speaker 5: There's stories that they were trying to just rubber stamp
• 25:48
Speaker 5: as many citizenship applications as they could in the lead
• 25:51
Speaker 5: up to that election. Not just so they could vote
• 25:53
Speaker 5: in that election, but because then they could vote in
• 25:55
Speaker 5: every subsequent election. In Spain, the government there, unpopular, headed
• 25:59
Speaker 5: for defeat. What did they do this year? They passed
• 26:02
Speaker 5: amnesty for hundreds of thousands, might end up being over
• 26:05
Speaker 5: a million people ultimately, just waved them in.
• 26:08
Speaker 3: In France, you have the far left.
• 26:10
Speaker 5: They're teaming up with these extremely radical groups. children of
• 26:13
Speaker 5: immigrants they're rioting against the government he openly says my
• 26:17
Speaker 5: goal is to abolish like the historical character of france
• 26:20
Speaker 5: creolization he calls it it is they are one in
• 26:23
Speaker 5: the same this like global third world ideology it really
• 26:28
Speaker 5: is to overthrow the west i think a lot of
• 26:30
Speaker 5: them would gloat about this in their private.
• 26:32
Speaker 4: Meetings of course yeah i mean i'll never forget that
• 26:34
Speaker 4: uh splc guy that on you know he did that
• 26:37
Speaker 4: interview and on the background there was that poster of
• 26:41
Speaker 4: Like gloating about the decline of the white population over
• 26:46
  Speaker 4: the years.
• 26:47
Speaker 5: And when they get asked about this, they say, well,
• 26:49
Speaker 5: we think it's important because we believe as that number
• 26:52
Speaker 5: goes down, there will be more far right and white
• 26:55
  Speaker 5: supremacist agitation.
• 26:57
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 26:58
  Speaker 4: Jesse, they lie.
• 26:59
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 27:00
Speaker 6: They know they have to lie about that for the
• 27:03
Speaker 6: most part. Now, every now and then they get caught
• 27:05
Speaker 6: on camera talking about it. But you'll hear even, quote, moderate,
• 27:09
Speaker 6: even though that's not a thing anymore, moderate Democrats out
• 27:12
Speaker 6: there just openly say, my number one goal is amnesty
• 27:14
Speaker 6: for 10 million. My number one goal is amnesty for
• 27:16
Speaker 6: 15 million. And these people are not compassionate. It's not
• 27:20
Speaker 6: because they have some kind of heart for click-click from Nigeria.
• 27:23
Speaker 6: They have no heart for anyone else whatsoever. They understand,
• 27:27
Speaker 6: all of them, the media understands this as well. Hollywood
• 27:29
Speaker 6: understands this. If you are a communist in any part
• 27:32
Speaker 6: of Western civilization, you understand instinctively that the mass importation
• 27:37
Speaker 6: of foreigners means you will win. And you understand that
• 27:40
Speaker 6: domestic patriots are your enemy. So what do you have
• 27:43
Speaker 6: to do? What do you do what any opposing army
• 27:45
Speaker 6: would do? You bring in reinforcements. And that's why we
• 27:48
Speaker 6: are where we are.
• 27:49
Speaker 4: Yeah, well, and by the way, I just want the
• 27:52
Speaker 4: audience to know, if you are blackpilled, if you're dooming...
• 27:56
Speaker 4: Because of Iran or something like that. I just suggest
• 27:59
Speaker 4: you give, was it David Beer from the Cato Institute
• 28:02
Speaker 4: a follow on social media?
• 28:03
Speaker 3: Oh, follow that guy.
• 28:04
Speaker 4: The guy just came out with this new graph, Jesse,
• 28:07
Speaker 4: that shows that the Trump administration has cut legal immigration
• 28:11
Speaker 4: by even more than they've cut illegal immigration. Why is
• 28:15
  Speaker 4: that so important?
• 28:16
Speaker 6: Legal immigration is just as damaging as illegal immigration. The
• 28:20
Speaker 6: mass importation of foreigners doesn't suddenly become wonderful just because
• 28:23
Speaker 6: some scumbag in Washington, D.C. decides it should be legal.
• 28:27
Speaker 6: This country has been ripped away from the hands of
• 28:29
Speaker 6: the American worker and handed to foreigners, undercutting wages, taking
• 28:34
Speaker 6: away jobs. That's why we're seeing the destruction of the
• 28:36
Speaker 6: middle class and rising prices, by the way. You want
• 28:39
Speaker 6: to get prices down, you want to solve at least
• 28:41
Speaker 6: in large part almost every problem in our society, get
• 28:44
Speaker 6: 100 million barbarians out of the country.
• 28:47
Speaker 4: This is why you're on the show, Jesse. I love it.
• 28:50
Speaker 4: You tell it like it is. Host of the nationally
• 28:52
Speaker 4: syndicated Jesse Kelly Show. You can follow him on X,
• 28:55
Speaker 4: and I recommend you do it, jessekellydc. But you've got
• 28:58
Speaker 4: to change your handle, Jesse. It's jessekellytx, I think, is
• 29:01
Speaker 4: what you need to go for. But that's all right.
• 29:04
Speaker 4: You're in Houston, right? That area? You're based around there?
• 29:07
  Speaker 2: I am in.
• 29:09
Speaker 6: Yeah, I am in Houston. And so, yes, even though
• 29:11
Speaker 6: it's lovely fall weather for other people, it's still 88
• 29:15
Speaker 6: degrees feels like 150. So that is what it is.
• 29:18
Speaker 4: We don't have the humidity, though. We don't have the humidity, though.
• 29:21
Speaker 4: Lots of immigrants coming into Houston, man. You got I mean,
• 29:24
Speaker 4: it's a problem. Houston's getting overrun anyways. All right. So
• 29:28
Speaker 4: there's so many things I want to get your opinion on, Jesse.
• 29:31
Speaker 4: But I want to start with the movement, and then
• 29:33
Speaker 4: I want to go into feminism if we can find
• 29:35
Speaker 4: the time, because there's only two fix everything switches, immigration
• 29:39
Speaker 4: and feminism like beating both of those back but the
• 29:42
Speaker 4: movement has been in disarray obviously since we lost Charlie
• 29:45
Speaker 4: which is something we think about a lot here but
• 29:49
Speaker 4: I noticed that you blocked somebody that, you know, he'll
• 29:54
Speaker 4: interact with me on my tweets, I've never met him
• 29:55
Speaker 4: in person but that was Joel Berry And I thought
• 29:59
Speaker 4: it was an interesting kind of choice from you to make,
• 30:02
Speaker 4: because you just said, Hey, I'm done. I'm done doing this,
• 30:05
Speaker 4: this back and forth with certain people, personalities on the,
• 30:07
Speaker 4: on the, on X or whatever. You know, when I,
• 30:10
Speaker 4: when the $ 20 burrito thing went viral, it was actually
• 30:12
Speaker 4: Joel Berry replying to my $ 20 burrito tweet that, that
• 30:16
Speaker 4: really poured jet fuel on it. So I'm grateful for
• 30:18
Speaker 4: that anyways, but what, so kind of explain where you're
• 30:21
Speaker 4: at right now. It makes sense of where the movement's
• 30:23
Speaker 4: at and kind of the choices you're making about moving forward.
• 30:26
Speaker 6: Well, look, what, I'm a big believer in cutting people off.
• 30:31
Speaker 6: I'm 45 years old and something I've learned in life.
• 30:33
Speaker 6: We're all, we're all supposed to, you know, be accepting
• 30:36
Speaker 6: and be this and be that. And don't get me wrong.
• 30:38
Speaker 6: You want to have a kind Christian heart and all
• 30:40
Speaker 6: those things, but there's something that I have discovered in
• 30:42
Speaker 6: my 45 years on this planet. And that's that you
• 30:46
Speaker 6: need to cut people out of your life. And if
• 30:48
Speaker 6: you do that, if you cut people out of your life,
• 30:51
Speaker 6: you will be happier. Your life will be better. There
• 30:54
Speaker 6: is no human being. This is not about any one
• 30:56
Speaker 6: specific person. There's no human being on the planet, not
• 31:00
Speaker 6: family members, certainly not someone on social media. Nobody is
• 31:04
Speaker 6: allowed to be a net negative on my life. Have
• 31:07
Speaker 6: you contributed to my life in some way? Have you
• 31:10
Speaker 6: in any way made my life positive? You better weigh
• 31:13
Speaker 6: the debits and credits on that, because if I look
• 31:15
Speaker 6: and I think you're a net negative, then you're gone immediately.
• 31:19
Speaker 6: And this most definitely applies. Look, I do this in
• 31:22
Speaker 6: real life. I block people's phone numbers. This is how
• 31:24
Speaker 6: I work. And it most definitely applies to social media
• 31:28
Speaker 6: where it's really an online thing. We're not interacting. We're
• 31:32
Speaker 6: not breaking bread. We're not doing Thanksgiving together. So you
• 31:36
Speaker 6: have virtually, unless we are friends, unless we've talked like acquaintances,
• 31:41
Speaker 6: you have virtually no wiggle room to mildly annoy me.
• 31:45
Speaker 6: People think when I block people, when I try to block,
• 31:47
  Speaker 6: I try to block 10 to 20 people a day.
• 31:51
  Speaker 4: That's a goal.
• 31:52
Speaker 6: But it's not that you have to anger me. I'm
• 31:55
Speaker 6: not angry about things people say on there. If you
• 31:58
Speaker 6: mildly annoy me for any reason, I will block you immediately.
• 32:02
Speaker 6: And I have never, not one time, I don't know
• 32:05
Speaker 6: how many it's been, thousands of them, not one time
• 32:07
Speaker 6: have I ever thought afterwards that was a mistake or
• 32:10
Speaker 6: maybe a month later even remember that person's name and thought, wow,
• 32:13
  Speaker 6: I wish I had them.
• 32:14
Speaker 4: Back in my life. Not one time.
• 32:16
Speaker 6: I block as often as possible. My life is great
• 32:18
  Speaker 6: for it.
• 32:19
Speaker 4: Well, no, and I can appreciate it on a personal level.
• 32:21
  Speaker 2: You know what?
• 32:22
Speaker 4: Given the whole thing, you know, we're building a turning point.
• 32:25
Speaker 4: We're trying to put together a coalition, a winning coalition.
• 32:28
Speaker 4: What's your take on the state of the movement, right?
• 32:30
Speaker 4: You've got these sort of accelerationists that are saying, hey,
• 32:33
Speaker 4: go vote Democrat. And you've got the dissidents that are
• 32:36
Speaker 4: very unhappy, even when we're putting up Ws. They're very
• 32:40
Speaker 4: unhappy about, let's say, Iran or whatever. I share some
• 32:42
Speaker 4: of those frustrations, certainly. But then, you know, how do
• 32:47
Speaker 4: we manage that, where there's all these disparate streams in
• 32:50
Speaker 4: the movement and these factions within the movement, and trying
• 32:53
Speaker 4: to build something that can actually win an election. And
• 32:56
Speaker 4: what's your take on the state of the movement right now?
• 32:59
Speaker 6: I think right now, from the outside looking in, or
• 33:02
Speaker 6: I guess you're not on the outside, if we're just
• 33:04
Speaker 6: looking at it right now, it looks like, wow, everyone's
• 33:07
Speaker 6: at each other's throats. And like you mentioned, there's this
• 33:09
Speaker 6: faction and this faction of people who argue about everything
• 33:12
Speaker 6: from Ukraine to taxes to immigration to Israel to all
• 33:16
Speaker 6: this endless stuff. And you look at it and you
• 33:18
Speaker 6: think to yourself, wow, the movement's hopelessly divided. I don't
• 33:21
Speaker 6: necessarily look at it that way. I try to zoom
• 33:24
Speaker 6: out as often as humanly possible. And what we have
• 33:27
Speaker 6: right now is the leader of the, I don't know
• 33:30
Speaker 6: if we're going to call it conservative movement, America first movement,
• 33:33
Speaker 6: Donald Trump, the guy who has been the big cheese
• 33:36
Speaker 6: for over a decade. That's a very long time to
• 33:39
Speaker 6: be the big cheese in a movement. His time is
• 33:41
Speaker 6: almost done. And like any king historically who is, sick
• 33:46
Speaker 6: and on his deathbed. It's not when he dies. The
• 33:49
Speaker 6: second he goes down with the sniffles, the fighting begins
• 33:53
Speaker 6: over who is going to inherit the kingdom. And there
• 33:56
Speaker 6: are a lot of people with a lot of different coalitions,
• 33:58
Speaker 6: a lot of different goals, who are wanting a big
• 34:01
Speaker 6: seat at the table or to sit at the head
• 34:03
Speaker 6: of the table when Donald Trump finally goes away. And
• 34:07
Speaker 6: what do we have, two and a half years left?
• 34:09
Speaker 6: And so right now, all this is is a big
• 34:11
Speaker 6: succession fight. That's all this is. And I don't stress
• 34:14
Speaker 6: it because we'll fight and people will throw poop at
• 34:17
Speaker 6: each other. And look, like I said, as long as
• 34:18
Speaker 6: you're not personally rude to me, I don't care what
• 34:20
Speaker 6: opinion you have. You can disagree with me.
• 34:22
  Speaker 2: That's fine.
• 34:22
Speaker 6: I'll disagree with you as long as you're not rude.
• 34:25
  Speaker 6: I don't give a crap. So we'll throw monkey poop
• 34:28
Speaker 6: at each other for the next two and a half years.
• 34:30
Speaker 6: And then we'll have a Republican nominee. And most of
• 34:32
Speaker 6: this stuff will quiet down.
• 34:33
Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's a really healthy way to look
• 34:35
Speaker 4: at it. You know, a lot of people and I
• 34:37
Speaker 4: will tell you this at Turning Point, we get a
• 34:39
Speaker 4: lot of incoming. If we put if you have some
• 34:41
Speaker 4: some X person is on our speaker graphic or Y
• 34:43
Speaker 4: person shows up at a campus and it's like we're trying. Listen,
• 34:47
Speaker 4: you in the movement, you can have your factionalism. You
• 34:50
Speaker 4: can fight and throw monkey poop, as you call it,
• 34:52
Speaker 4: at each other. our role is a little bit different.
• 34:54
Speaker 4: We have to be thinking about how do we, how
• 34:57
Speaker 4: do we keep some semblance of a coalition together? But
• 34:59
Speaker 4: I think that's super healthy and people need to get
• 35:01
Speaker 4: back to a point where they disagree and it doesn't
• 35:03
Speaker 4: have to be so personal or you don't have to
• 35:04
Speaker 4: call somebody evil, right? For every little disagreement. If you're anti-communist,
• 35:09
Speaker 4: if you're like, if you're right on immigration, if you're
• 35:11
Speaker 4: right on a, on a number of things, if you
• 35:13
Speaker 4: love this country, I'm good. I'm good. I can have that,
• 35:16
Speaker 4: have that conversation with you. Where do you think it's
• 35:18
Speaker 4: going to all, all end up, Jesse?
• 35:20
Speaker 6: I think we're going to end up just fine. And
• 35:21
Speaker 6: I think we're going to win in the end. And
• 35:23
Speaker 6: I need to be clear when I say that I'm
• 35:24
Speaker 6: not saying we're going to win in the midterms. I
• 35:26
Speaker 6: don't know that. I mean, probably up against some serious
• 35:28
Speaker 6: headwinds here. I'm not even saying we're going to win
• 35:31
Speaker 6: in 2028. I'm not saying that. I think that in
• 35:33
Speaker 6: the end, I think that we anti-communists, we will come
• 35:37
Speaker 6: together enough. We're always going to fight. I think we're
• 35:40
Speaker 6: going to come together enough and we're going to defeat
• 35:42
  Speaker 6: the communists.
• 35:43
  Speaker 4: I do.
• 35:43
Speaker 6: Now, a lot of that will come back to to battles.
• 35:46
Speaker 4: That are bigger than others.
• 35:47
Speaker 6: Like we mentioned immigration earlier, that's one we have to win.
• 35:50
Speaker 6: You know, we can't massively import foreigners and win. That's
• 35:54
Speaker 6: not possible. But I think we will win in the end.
• 35:57
Speaker 6: But I think that people, all people, young people, old
• 36:00
Speaker 6: people have to understand that this is a long years,
• 36:03
Speaker 6: decades long process. And no matter how old you are
• 36:06
Speaker 6: right now, you probably will not live to see the
• 36:08
Speaker 6: end of this kind of fighting. So learn to love
• 36:10
Speaker 6: the grind and learn to love the fight because that's
• 36:13
Speaker 6: what we have now. And that grind is important.
• 36:15
Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's well said. Jesse Kelly, host of
• 36:18
Speaker 4: the nationally syndicated Jesse Kelly show. Give him a follow
• 36:22
Speaker 4: on X. Anything else we can promote for you, Jesse?
• 36:24
Speaker 6: I'm not working on anything right now except for coping
• 36:27
Speaker 6: with a wife who officially has two teenage boys with
• 36:31
Speaker 6: driver's licenses. So it feels like the kids have left
• 36:33
Speaker 6: the house. And now at this point in time, she's
• 36:36
Speaker 6: talking about getting a new dog. So I can really
• 36:38
  Speaker 6: use everyone's prayers.
• 36:39
Speaker 4: Yeah, I was going to say prayers up for Jesse
• 36:41
Speaker 4: Kelly as he navigates this very tumultuous period. Enjoy that
• 36:46
Speaker 4: fall weather in Houston. Jesse, I'm so glad we made
• 36:48
Speaker 4: this happen, my friend. Good to see you. Be good, fellas.
• 36:50
Speaker 4: Appreciate you. Take care. Before he ever stepped onto a
• 36:56
Speaker 4: debate stage or behind a microphone, Charlie understood something really important,
• 37:00
Speaker 4: that if you want to lead, you first have to learn.
• 37:04
Speaker 4: Charlie believed that ideas shape character, conviction, and courage. That's
• 37:08
Speaker 4: why he spent years studying the classics, the American founding,
• 37:11
Speaker 4: and the Bible through Hillsdale College's free online courses. He
• 37:14
Speaker 4: would rave about these courses all the time. These free
• 37:16
Speaker 4: online courses are taught by Hillsdale College professors and draw
• 37:20
Speaker 4: from the same great books and enduring ideas studied on
• 37:23
Speaker 4: Hillsdale's campus. Hillsdale's newest free online course is the Iliad,
• 37:28
Speaker 4: where Professor Stephen Smith guides students through Homer's great epic
• 37:31
Speaker 4: of honor, courage, friendship, leadership, and the pursuit of true greatness.
• 37:36
Speaker 4: For nearly 3,000 years, the Iliad has shaped the Western imagination.
• 37:39
Speaker 4: It tells the story of Achilles as he confronts injustice, rage, grief, responsibility,
• 37:44
Speaker 4: and the terrible costs of war. But Homer's epic is
• 37:47
Speaker 4: more than a story of ancient battles. It raises enduring
• 37:50
Speaker 4: questions about courage, duty, leadership, sacrifice, and self-command. Achilles is
• 37:55
Speaker 4: the greatest warrior among the Greeks, but Homer asks whether
• 37:58
Speaker 4: strength alone is enough to make a man truly great.
• 38:01
Speaker 4: In this new free online course, you'll follow Achilles through
• 38:03
Speaker 4: the defining trials of his life and discover why one
• 38:06
Speaker 4: of the greatest works of Western literature still speaks to
• 38:09
Speaker 4: the permanent questions of human life. Charlie understood that learning
• 38:13
Speaker 4: isn't just about gaining knowledge. It's about forming the mind
• 38:16
Speaker 4: and character needed to face the challenges of life with
• 38:19
Speaker 4: wisdom and courage. You can enroll today completely free and
• 38:23
Speaker 4: take this class or their 40-plus other free online courses.

• 38:39
Speaker 4: We have Alex Marlow, editor-in-chief of Breitbart News, host of
• 38:43
Speaker 4: the Alex Marlow Show, joining us. Back by popular demand, Alex.
• 38:48
Speaker 4: Our folks just love you. And we've been asking for emails, too,
• 38:51
Speaker 4: by the way, which we'll play into this whole segment. Oh,
• 38:53
  Speaker 4: of course.
• 38:53
Speaker 5: I mean, they've been coming in all about Tallarico, all about... So, you.
• 38:58
Speaker 4: Listen. I talked to you. I asked you what... are
• 39:02
Speaker 4: you hot on today? What's your big news stories? And
• 39:04
Speaker 4: it's Talrico and Ilhan. We covered that in hour one
• 39:07
Speaker 4: because those are the main takes. But I want to
• 39:09
Speaker 4: get your take on this, Alex, because let's start with Talrico.
• 39:14
Speaker 4: I jumped in and I just said, hey, it doesn't
• 39:17
Speaker 4: matter if he's at a mental health facility or not, whatever.
• 39:19
Speaker 4: Here's what happened, though. The podcast bros on the left,
• 39:25
Speaker 4: the Pod Save America folks, the Will Sommers of the world,
• 39:29
Speaker 4: they jumped on me instantly, which tells– it's a tell
• 39:33
Speaker 4: in and of itself. So if you don't live in
• 39:34
Speaker 4: the online space– I mean, there's some polls that say
• 39:36
Speaker 4: it's like basically 1% of people are actually creators online.
• 39:40
Speaker 4: If you don't do that, you wouldn't understand what it
• 39:42
Speaker 4: feels like when you hit something, when you hit the trip,
• 39:46
Speaker 4: the trip wire, and they come after you, you're like, ah.
• 39:50
Speaker 4: Something's up. They are all in on this. They think
• 39:52
Speaker 4: that they can exploit the fact that there's this rumor
• 39:55
Speaker 4: going around that he was at a mental health facility
• 39:58
Speaker 4: and they think that they can use this to gin
• 40:00
Speaker 4: up sympathy for him or make us look crazy. But
• 40:02
Speaker 4: something about this story doesn't sit right with me. What's
• 40:06
Speaker 4: your take, Alex Marlowe?
• 40:07
Speaker 11: Yeah, first of all, he's a liar. He's been lying
• 40:09
Speaker 11: to us about the flu. And we know this because
• 40:12
Speaker 11: yesterday in back-to-back interviews, he said he went to his
• 40:14
Speaker 11: primary care doctor and he went to urgent care. So
• 40:16
Speaker 11: he doesn't have a story right. He's not telling the truth.
• 40:18
Speaker 11: And we need to know the answer to this. This
• 40:20
Speaker 11: is the hottest election in the entire country. This is
• 40:22
Speaker 11: not a joke. We don't know where he was, and
• 40:24
Speaker 11: we're not getting a clear explanation. We also know for
• 40:27
Speaker 11: a fact he is mentally ill. A guy who acts
• 40:29
Speaker 11: like God is non-binary as if he doesn't know the
• 40:32
Speaker 11: book of Genesis, where he talked about God the Father.
• 40:34
Speaker 11: How many words is it into the story before we
• 40:36
Speaker 11: figure that out? is that we're aware of this stuff
• 40:39
Speaker 11: from the top. And he's like, no, God's non-binary. And
• 40:41
Speaker 11: then he's the type of guy who is out there
• 40:44
Speaker 11: nonstop acting as though he knows every drag queen in
• 40:47
Speaker 11: all of Texas. He knows them on a first name basis.
• 40:50
Speaker 11: And he's constantly talking about the climate change patriarchy and
• 40:55
Speaker 11: how we need to dismantle the capitalist system. It's all
• 40:57
Speaker 11: the type of stuff that makes normal people's brain hurt.
• 40:59
Speaker 11: And this is what he's all about. He has mental
• 41:01
Speaker 11: health issues and now we get to talk about them.
• 41:04
Speaker 11: Do I honestly think he was at the Ohio facility?
• 41:06
Speaker 11: I don't, but he is mentally ill and now we
• 41:09
Speaker 11: get to talk about it.
• 41:10
Speaker 5: Yeah, this is what I was saying. People were saying,
• 41:12
Speaker 5: is it disqualifying if he had a mental breakdown? I said, no,
• 41:16
Speaker 5: what's disqualifying is that he believes in mutilating five-year-olds, that
• 41:20
Speaker 5: he believes in an open border, that he believes that
• 41:23
Speaker 5: white people have this racism virus. All of those things
• 41:27
Speaker 5: are so disqualifying that if it was the Republican who
• 41:30
Speaker 5: had a mental breakdown, you would say, no, we still
• 41:31
Speaker 5: have to vote for that guy because this guy is
• 41:34
Speaker 5: a lunatic who will destroy the United States. That is
• 41:36
  Speaker 5: what disqualifies him.
• 41:38
Speaker 11: Exactly. Exactly right. And not to mention the stuff like
• 41:40
Speaker 11: your six genders. I mean, the guy is completely nuts.
• 41:44
Speaker 11: And remember when Trump was on a beer aspirin and
• 41:47
Speaker 11: so he had the little splotches on his skin like
• 41:49
Speaker 11: a million other 80-year-olds in everyone's life? because he had
• 41:52
Speaker 11: the blood thinning. And then people acted like this was
• 41:54
Speaker 11: some sort of a crisis that was going to take
• 41:56
Speaker 11: down the Republic because Trump was on the verge of
• 41:58
Speaker 11: death and then was lying about it. And now we
• 42:00
Speaker 11: get a guy who's legitimately mentally insane, who we're thinking
• 42:03
Speaker 11: of putting in to be a Senator from Texas. And
• 42:07
Speaker 11: people want to know if he's in a mental health
• 42:08
Speaker 11: Institute when he dropped off the campaign for two weeks
• 42:12
Speaker 11: and we're the crazy people for wanting to know where
• 42:13
Speaker 11: he is. It's not going to work this time.
• 42:15
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 42:15
Speaker 4: I mean, that's the thing. So Trump, Trump wasn't, you know,
• 42:19
Speaker 4: seen for like a day and a half or something.
• 42:21
Speaker 4: And it was like, Trump's dead. Everybody remember this, this
• 42:23
Speaker 4: whole freak out. James Talrico is missing for nine to
• 42:27
Speaker 4: 12 days, depending on which number you believe. If you
• 42:30
Speaker 4: say more than nine, you'll get community noted because the
• 42:32
Speaker 4: left wingers are like out in force on this one.
• 42:34
Speaker 4: That's the tell though. The fact that they are out
• 42:37
Speaker 4: in force. I mean, they pounced on me and I
• 42:39
Speaker 4: was like, I didn't even come up with this story.
• 42:41
Speaker 4: And they were like, you were one of the chief proponents.
• 42:43
Speaker 4: I was like, I was not, I saw the report.
• 42:46
Speaker 4: I said, wow, big, if true. And I was one
• 42:49
Speaker 4: of the they painted me as one of the chief
• 42:51
Speaker 4: proponents of this story. I said, no, the guy disappears.
• 42:55
Speaker 4: This is the biggest job interview of his life. You
• 42:57
Speaker 4: don't go disappearing for nine to 12 days in the
• 42:59
Speaker 4: middle of the most heated election of the cycle and
• 43:02
Speaker 4: then act like we're all going to just let it go.
• 43:05
Speaker 4: That's not how this works. This is big boy politics,
• 43:07
  Speaker 4: James Talrico. I know you're a 35 year old beta
• 43:09
Speaker 4: male who barely eats meat, but this is the real deal. OK,
• 43:13
Speaker 4: this is the big leagues, buddy. Anyways, all right. Go ahead.
• 43:18
Speaker 11: It's so right on. And remember last week we had
• 43:20
Speaker 11: to deal with the Cassie Hutchison thing again where we
• 43:23
Speaker 11: were reminded that she acted like Donald Trump commandeered the
• 43:27
Speaker 11: beast in the middle of a motorcade and wanted to
• 43:29
Speaker 11: drive it to the Capitol. And we all took her seriously.
• 43:33
Speaker 11: And then she had a book deal and was the
• 43:34
Speaker 11: number one New York Times bestseller list, probably in a
• 43:35
Speaker 11: million dollars. off of the book. And we take that
• 43:38
Speaker 11: stuff seriously. And is it, we can't play around with
• 43:41
Speaker 11: the James Tallarico's at a mental institution.
• 43:43
Speaker 4: And maybe he was there.
• 43:45
Speaker 11: Who even knows with this guy, he's a total unknown.
• 43:47
Speaker 6: He is a liar.
• 43:49
Speaker 11: And so they made the rules that we're playing by
• 43:51
  Speaker 11: him too.
• 43:51
Speaker 4: I'm sticking by this one. I'm defiant in the face
• 43:54
Speaker 4: of their luck. It's been proven. You smeared him. No,
• 43:56
Speaker 4: he smeared himself when he wouldn't come out of bed
• 43:58
Speaker 4: for nine days, 12 days. Maybe it was 15 days.
• 44:01
Speaker 4: There's literally a local news reporter. This Kevin McMahon, he goes,
• 44:06
Speaker 4: We tried to get proof of life from James Taurico,
• 44:08
Speaker 4: but this nasty 15-day flu is just really so bad
• 44:10
Speaker 4: that he can't, and that's totally understandable. That was a
• 44:14
Speaker 4: local news reporter in Texas. He said 15 days. So
• 44:16
Speaker 4: what was it? Was it nine? Was it 15? I
• 44:18
  Speaker 4: don't know.
• 44:20
Speaker 11: We don't know, but I do want to speak specifically
• 44:22
Speaker 11: to the white educators in the audience today that there
• 44:25
Speaker 11: are violent hierarchies, these systems, white supremacy, heteropatriarchy, economic exploitation.
• 44:32
Speaker 11: Those things have colonized our own minds. See, if I
• 44:36
Speaker 11: had said that and I was saying that seriously, you
• 44:38
Speaker 11: guys would think Marlo's gone crazy.
• 44:40
  Speaker 12: No.
• 44:40
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 44:40
Speaker 11: Rico said that not as a joke and we're going
• 44:42
Speaker 11: to put him in the Senate.
• 44:43
  Speaker 4: That's insane. I, I, I, I'm going to check you
• 44:46
Speaker 4: into a mental health facility myself. Alex, if you say
• 44:49
Speaker 4: that one more time, I'm going to do it. I'm
• 44:50
Speaker 4: going to fly to where you're at and I'm going to,
• 44:52
Speaker 4: I'm going to check you in personally. Here's the other big,
• 44:54
Speaker 4: one of the other big concerned. Well, here's a breaking
• 44:56
Speaker 4: story we haven't talked about. Elon Musk has admitted that
• 45:00
  Speaker 4: he's poured $ 366 million into the midterms. SOT 12.
• 45:05
Speaker 13: According to brand new reporting by The New York Times,
• 45:07
Speaker 13: Elon Musk has quietly funneled $ 366 million to Republicans for
• 45:10
Speaker 13: the midterms. More than 276 million of it just since
• 45:17
Speaker 13: the start of July. That means Musk has spent more
• 45:20
Speaker 13: money on the midterms than he did on the entire
• 45:23
Speaker 13: 2024 presidential race. You write that Musk's donation to Senate
• 45:26
Speaker 13: Republican Super PAC was, quote, one of the largest political
• 45:29
Speaker 13: donations in American history and more than the group's Democratic
• 45:33
Speaker 13: rival raised from all of its donors that quarter. No
• 45:36
Speaker 13: Democratic billionaire is spending nearly as much as Mr.
• 45:39
  Speaker 2: Musk.
• 45:39
Speaker 13: And money remains a central worry for the party in
• 45:42
Speaker 13: an otherwise favorable political environment.
• 45:46
Speaker 4: Money remains a big worry, which is great. Good for
• 45:50
Speaker 4: Elon Musk. You know, I've always been a Musk fan.
• 45:54
Speaker 4: You know, there's people that think he's, you know, the
• 45:56
Speaker 4: big tech. I give the guy a pass because I
• 45:59
Speaker 4: think he understands what hour we're in. I think he
• 46:01
Speaker 4: understands that we are the anti-communist against the hordes. And
• 46:07
Speaker 4: Elon sees this clearly.
• 46:08
  Speaker 2: Alex.
• 46:09
Speaker 11: So this is right on, and I'll tell you, I'm
• 46:13
Speaker 11: someone who's more of a Musk skeptic and is skeptical
• 46:15
Speaker 11: of some of his praise of China in the past,
• 46:17
Speaker 11: and I clung to that longer than I think most
• 46:20
Speaker 11: people in the MAGA movement, and so I think it
• 46:22
Speaker 11: gives me extra credibility to say this is huge. He's
• 46:24
Speaker 11: really putting his money where his mouth is and showing commitment,
• 46:27
Speaker 11: and he deserves immense amounts of credit for it. This
• 46:29
Speaker 11: is a bold thing. He's got a lot of companies,
• 46:31
Speaker 11: a lot of Democrat leftists. They have a lot of
• 46:33
Speaker 11: stock in his companies, and he's saying, you know what?
• 46:35
Speaker 11: This is what I believe. I'm sticking with it, and
• 46:37
  Speaker 11: I dig it.
• 46:38
Speaker 5: I mean, more to the point, he is at the
• 46:40
Speaker 5: point where the left is so vengeful, so bitter, they
• 46:43
Speaker 5: may well, if they take power again, they will be
• 46:45
Speaker 5: willing to destroy Tesla, destroy SpaceX, destroy the two best
• 46:49
Speaker 5: American leading cutting-edge manufacturing companies, wreck America's economy, throw us
• 46:54
Speaker 5: back big time just to spite a guy who went
• 46:58
  Speaker 5: against them.
• 46:58
Speaker 4: Imagine we didn't have Tesla or SpaceX. He is singularly
• 47:04
Speaker 4: responsible for the most cutting-edge technologies. You know how we
• 47:08
Speaker 4: always watch Back to the Future 2, and it was
• 47:10
Speaker 4: like 2015. It was supposed to be all advanced, and
• 47:12
Speaker 4: it's not. Well, thanks to Elon Musk, it feels like
• 47:15
Speaker 4: we live in the future now, okay? I have to
• 47:19
Speaker 4: plug this. Huge, huge deal, all right? VoteReady.com. VoteReady.com, all right?
• 47:27
Speaker 4: Make a plan to vote. A plan to vote that counts, okay?
• 47:32
Speaker 4: That's our big push. We're doing it. Tony Poynter Action.
• 47:34
Speaker 4: Make a plan to vote. VoteReady.com. Just check it out.
• 47:39
Speaker 4: Check out the website, voteready.com. You'll see the URL right there.
• 47:42
Speaker 4: Make a plan to vote today. And once you're done,
• 47:46
Speaker 4: send that to 10 of your friends, okay? It helps
• 47:49
Speaker 4: you check your voter registration status, make sure everything's on
• 47:53
Speaker 4: the up and up and you got everything you need.
• 47:55
Speaker 4: And then it tells you where and how to vote.
• 47:57
Speaker 4: It's a massive new tool that we are rolling out
• 48:00
Speaker 4: at Turning Point Action. Make a plan to vote, a
• 48:03
Speaker 4: plan to vote that counts, okay? A vote that counts, okay?
• 48:08
Speaker 4: So that is a key, key tool that we are
• 48:10
Speaker 4: making available to everybody. VoteReady.com, check it out today. And
• 48:15
Speaker 4: I've said it before and I'll say it again. If
• 48:17
Speaker 4: you loved Charlie, if you believed in the mission, the
• 48:21
Speaker 4: mission really does, the rubber meets the road at the
• 48:23
Speaker 4: ballot box. And so make a plan to vote. Make
• 48:26
Speaker 4: sure that you don't get a flat tire, that there's
• 48:28
Speaker 4: not a snowstorm that we saw with like, was that,
• 48:32
Speaker 4: who was that? It was a snowstorm in Nevada that
• 48:35
Speaker 4: really screwed up our Senate hopes a couple of years back.
• 48:37
Speaker 4: These things happen. Kid gets sick, you forget what... So
• 48:41
Speaker 4: make a plan to vote, okay? VoteReady.com, VoteReady.com. Later this week,
• 48:44
Speaker 4: we're going to explore in greater detail the early vote counts,
• 48:48
Speaker 4: and we're going to kind of dive into some of
• 48:49
Speaker 4: that and see how it's really playing out. All right,
• 48:52
Speaker 4: Alex Marlow joins us, editor-in-chief of Breitbart. Great American. Alex,
• 48:58
Speaker 4: there is... Obviously, the other big story is this Ilhan Omar.
• 49:01
Speaker 4: I never in a million years thought anybody would have
• 49:03
Speaker 4: the guts to do this. Never in a million years. Honestly.
• 49:05
Speaker 4: Genuinely didn't think so.
• 49:07
  Speaker 12: Now.
• 49:08
Speaker 4: Democrat leader of the House, Hakeem Jeffries, along with whip
• 49:11
Speaker 4: Catherine Clark and Pete Aguilar. Real, real winner there. They
• 49:16
Speaker 4: come up with a statement. The Trump administration's raid on
• 49:18
Speaker 4: Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's home. is deeply disturbing and raises serious
• 49:23
Speaker 4: questions about the continued corrupt weaponization of the federal government
• 49:28
Speaker 4: against Donald Trump's adversaries. Okay, okay. Now, with less than
• 49:32
Speaker 4: 30 days until the midterm election, his violent mass deportation
• 49:36
Speaker 4: machine has descended upon the home of duly elected member
• 49:38
Speaker 4: of Congress, and her family. Okay, so they're really up
• 49:42
Speaker 4: in arms. And I do just want to caution everybody.
• 49:47
Speaker 4: If you're Republicans, do not get too excited about this.
• 49:51
Speaker 4: This could be a bad precedent. What if, Alex, Democrat
• 49:56
Speaker 4: administration did something like raid Trump's house, and maybe they
• 50:01
Speaker 4: would even go through his wife's underwear drawer? This could
• 50:04
Speaker 4: set a terrible precedent, Alex. And I think Hakeem Jeffries
• 50:07
Speaker 4: is on to something here.
• 50:09
Speaker 11: It's so right. And this is, again, their rules, the
• 50:12
Speaker 11: second story in a row, which is like this is
• 50:13
Speaker 11: they made these rules that if you're allowed to go
• 50:15
Speaker 11: to Barron Trump's Peloton room looking for state secrets. You're
• 50:19
Speaker 11: allowed to go through Melania Trump's underwear drawer looking for
• 50:21
Speaker 11: state secrets. And all of it leads up to what
• 50:24
Speaker 11: was even worse in the raids, which was the completely
• 50:26
Speaker 11: unconstitutional 19 months of Jack Smith, who did not even
• 50:30
Speaker 11: have a real job as a fake job, just a
• 50:32
Speaker 11: rash Trump. All that came from the Mar-a-Lago raid. If
• 50:35
Speaker 11: that's what it's going to be, then you know what?
• 50:37
Speaker 11: You better be very sure that you didn't marry your brother.
• 50:39
Speaker 4: Yeah, well, this is hilarious because Peter, you know, Pete Aguilar,
• 50:43
  Speaker 4: who's a real a real peach. calling this a rogue
• 50:47
Speaker 4: abuse of power pete aguilar in 2023 on trump's on
• 50:50
Speaker 4: the raid of trump's house there can't be two sets
• 50:53
Speaker 4: of rules there has to be accountability let the justice
• 50:56
Speaker 4: system play out these guys they lie like they breathe
• 51:01
Speaker 4: the hypocrisy is rank and it needs to be called
• 51:03
Speaker 4: out now i happen to think alex that the number
• 51:05
Speaker 4: one most likely scenario i think blake agrees is that
• 51:09
Speaker 4: they're looking into paperwork they're looking into was the original
• 51:13
Speaker 4: paperwork fraudulent was it corrupted? Was it plagiarized? Anything?
• 51:18
Speaker 5: They want to find that because most other crimes, unfortunately,
• 51:22
Speaker 5: are glorious laws. Don't let us denaturalize a person who
• 51:25
Speaker 5: merely becomes a citizen and then becomes a fantastic criminal.
• 51:28
Speaker 5: You have to have committed fraud in the naturalization process itself.
• 51:32
Speaker 5: And she's been a citizen a long time. So you
• 51:34
Speaker 5: have to go way back.
• 51:35
Speaker 4: At which point, then you can denaturalize even a sitting
• 51:38
Speaker 4: member of Congress. It's not our fault. She's basically voted
• 51:42
Speaker 4: into office by a bloc that votes in unison. of
• 51:46
Speaker 4: Somalis and Muslims in Minnesota. That's Minnesota's fault. Actually, it
• 51:51
Speaker 4: is our fault. It's the government's fault for importing these people.
• 51:53
Speaker 4: But why is this important? I actually think this is
• 51:56
Speaker 4: remarkably important that we make a statement that says, even
• 52:00
Speaker 4: if you're a sitting member of Congress and you lied
• 52:02
Speaker 4: to get in here, you are on the list. You
• 52:06
Speaker 4: are fair game for the judicial system to prosecute, investigate,
• 52:09
  Speaker 4: and potentially denaturalize.
• 52:11
Speaker 11: Yeah, that's the first point. That is the most important point,
• 52:14
Speaker 11: that we consider it as that if you are a congressperson,
• 52:17
Speaker 11: you're actually above the law, you're allowed to do illegal
• 52:19
Speaker 11: stuff and get away with it. This would reset that,
• 52:21
Speaker 11: which I think would be very good. And there's all
• 52:23
Speaker 11: these ancillary things that are going on that are still important,
• 52:26
Speaker 11: like Somalis on a generationally bad run here. And there's
• 52:30
Speaker 11: a major race where there are factors, which is Minnesota,
• 52:32
Speaker 11: which is one of the tightest primary races. It's kind
• 52:34
Speaker 11: of a blue state. It could go red specifically because
• 52:36
Speaker 11: of Somali gang violence and fraud. Important to talk about this.
• 52:40
Speaker 11: Maybe is there a stunt element to that part?
• 52:42
  Speaker 6: Maybe.
• 52:42
  Speaker 4: I don't know.
• 52:43
Speaker 11: But a federal judge signed off on this. So this
• 52:45
Speaker 11: is not a fly-by-night thing. And it does allow us
• 52:47
Speaker 11: to bring up those things about how– remember how the
• 52:50
Speaker 11: FBI agents were allowed to use deadly force.
• 52:52
Speaker 3: On the Mar-a-Lago raid?
• 52:53
Speaker 11: Do you guys remember that? Do you remember how when
• 52:56
Speaker 11: they knew they were getting roasted by the media, they
• 52:58
Speaker 11: took all the alleged classified documents that they found, they
• 53:01
Speaker 11: scattered it all over Mar-a-Lago– as if Trump had just
• 53:04
Speaker 11: thrown it up in the air like confetti. Remember how
• 53:05
Speaker 11: absurd that whole farce was? And now we get to
• 53:08
Speaker 11: talk about that for a few minutes, and that's okay.
• 53:11
Speaker 4: Alex, oh, do you, sorry.
• 53:12
Speaker 5: Well, I was actually, this might be a bit of
• 53:15
Speaker 5: a swerve, but we are getting towards the midterms, and
• 53:18
Speaker 5: Angelo is flagging this, that Mayor Mamdani is just aggressively
• 53:23
Speaker 5: skipping all of the Columbus Day events. He might attend
• 53:25
Speaker 5: an Italian-American heritage dinner that is not Columbus Day related.
• 53:29
  Speaker 14: And.
• 53:30
Speaker 3: Obviously, this is a big deal. Angelo is from New York.
• 53:32
Speaker 3: A lot of Italians there. But I just feel.
• 53:34
Speaker 5: We're closing in on Election Day, and I just feel
• 53:36
Speaker 5: our big pitch... It links with the Ilhan Omar stuff,
• 53:40
Speaker 5: that Ilhan Omar is fundamentally not just far left, but
• 53:42
Speaker 5: very anti-American in her outlook. And same thing with Mamdani.
• 53:47
Speaker 5: It is Christopher Columbus who is the ultimate root cause
• 53:49
Speaker 5: of a country that his family wanted to move to
• 53:51
Speaker 5: rather than remain in their home country. But he thinks
• 53:54
Speaker 5: that's a bad thing. Take down his statues, reject his legacy, global,
• 54:00
Speaker 5: you know, celebrate the third worldization of America instead.
• 54:03
Speaker 3: I think that should be our message.
• 54:06
  Speaker 2: It's brilliant.
• 54:06
Speaker 11: It's exactly right. You guys are totally on it. He's
• 54:10
Speaker 11: not just here. She's not just here to get elected
• 54:13
Speaker 11: and enjoy America and appreciate America and to make a
• 54:15
Speaker 11: multicultural experiment. They're here specifically to undermine what our country
• 54:19
Speaker 11: stands for. And the more we talk about that, and
• 54:21
Speaker 11: Columbus Day is a perfect day to do it, the
• 54:23
Speaker 11: better Americans are to understand that, that when you start
• 54:26
Speaker 11: seeing all of the efforts to try to undermine the
• 54:29
Speaker 11: white patriarchy and the capitalistic system. And remember, Hassan Piker,
• 54:32
Speaker 11: not Hassan Piker, Abdul El-Sayed said, we owe it to
• 54:36
Speaker 11: the world to open our borders. One of the quotes
• 54:38
Speaker 11: of the year is not just that we don't like ICE.
• 54:42
Speaker 11: We owe it to the world to open our borders.
• 54:43
Speaker 11: We don't owe anyone anything other than Americans.
• 54:47
Speaker 4: Amen. Yeah, I think this is really so key. And
• 54:51
Speaker 4: I've said it before, and I'm going to keep saying
• 54:53
Speaker 4: it again, because I think this phenomenon of Muslims latching
• 54:58
Speaker 4: onto left-wing political movements in the West is because they
• 55:01
Speaker 4: know those left-wing political movements give them the most energy,
• 55:04
Speaker 4: the most permission. to infiltrate, to open the borders, and
• 55:08
Speaker 4: then bankrupt us through mass welfare.
• 55:10
Speaker 5: The most permission, and it just, it fulfills their id.
• 55:12
Speaker 5: They are a very resentment-driven political movement.
• 55:15
Speaker 4: And they want to use it like a Trojan horse
• 55:17
Speaker 4: to infiltrate the West and destabilize our countries. We can't
• 55:21
Speaker 4: let it happen. Alex Marlow, editor-in-chief of Breitbart, check him
• 55:24
Speaker 4: out there, the host of The Alex Marlow Show. Thank you,
• 55:26
Speaker 4: my friend. God bless you. Talk to you soon. Thanks, guys.

Speaker 4: By the end of the year, more than 60,000 babies
• 55:34
Speaker 4: will have been saved by pre-born centers. Just this year,
• 55:38
  Speaker 4: 60,000 babies. And for every baby who's saved, there's a
• 55:41
Speaker 4: mom who's saved from a lifetime of pain and regret.
• 55:44
Speaker 4: Take a stand for life by providing an ultrasound for
• 55:47
Speaker 4: a young woman. When you do, she is twice as
• 55:49
Speaker 4: likely to choose life. Just $ 28 helps provide that ultrasound
• 55:53
Speaker 4: that saves one baby. $ 140 helps save five. A gift
• 55:57
  Speaker 4: of $ 15, 000. And I know there's people out there in
• 56:00
Speaker 4: this audience that can do this. $ 15, 000 provides an ultrasound
• 56:04
Speaker 4: machine that can save thousands of babies for years to come.
• 56:07
Speaker 4: And $ 28 a month can help save babies all year
• 56:10
Speaker 4: long for less than a dollar a day. So call 833-850-2229.
• 56:16
Speaker 4: That's 833-850-2229. Or click on the Preborn banner at charliekirk.com today.
• 56:22
Speaker 12: Preborn was so special to Charlie, and it's so important
• 56:25
Speaker 12: to me as well. Right now, you can help make
• 56:28
Speaker 12: motherhood possible by providing ultrasounds with Preborn. I'd be so
• 56:31
Speaker 12: honored if you'd prayerfully consider joining us.
• 56:36
Speaker 4: All right. Matthew Peterson joins us now. He's got a
• 56:40
Speaker 4: long CV. I want to make sure I get all
• 56:42
Speaker 4: of the cool things. Post Legacy Ventures, Infrastructure and Media.
• 56:46
Speaker 4: He's the founder of something called Forum, which is a
• 56:48
Speaker 4: new project he's doing. I'm hoping to work with him
• 56:51
Speaker 4: at AmFest, as a matter of fact, to set up
• 56:52
Speaker 4: a great debate. These are the most important conversations that
• 56:56
Speaker 4: we're going to have on the right. And so that's
• 56:58
Speaker 4: kind of Matthew Peterson in a nutshell. He's also a
• 57:02
Speaker 4: fellow at Claremont, which we love. Welcome back to the show, Matthew.
• 57:05
Speaker 4: It's good to see you, man.
• 57:06
Speaker 2: Hey, it's good to be here.
• 57:07
Speaker 15: I'm actually, after the little trip to Israel I just did,
• 57:10
Speaker 15: I'm at the Claremont Fellowships with a bunch of speech
• 57:12
Speaker 15: writers here in Washington, D.C.
• 57:14
  Speaker 4: Fantastic.
• 57:14
  Speaker 12: Oh, nice.
• 57:15
Speaker 4: Fantastic. Well, that's what I love about what you do.
• 57:17
Speaker 4: You're not afraid to have the hard conversations on the
• 57:19
Speaker 4: right to sort of forge a new consensus because movements change.
• 57:23
Speaker 4: The principles, the first principles remain the same. But in
• 57:26
Speaker 4: a changing world with the context constantly changing, the coalition
• 57:30
Speaker 4: constantly changing, we've got to sort of reexamine these. And
• 57:33
Speaker 4: you're one of those guys that's out front doing that,
• 57:35
Speaker 4: having very courageous conversations. So I love that about what
• 57:38
Speaker 4: you're doing, Matthew. Now, you went to NatCon, and this
• 57:42
Speaker 4: became quite the buzz on the internets of it all.
• 57:46
Speaker 4: And it was interesting to see who was upset about it,
• 57:48
Speaker 4: who kind of understood it, who got what you were doing,
• 57:50
Speaker 4: who got what other speakers like our friend Lomez were doing,
• 57:53
Speaker 4: Jonathan Kieperman. But you guys went to Israel, which is
• 57:56
Speaker 4: first and foremost, I mean, I think for a certain
• 57:58
Speaker 4: segment of the population.
• 58:00
Speaker 5: There's a lot of people who at this point, if
• 58:01
Speaker 5: it's any Jewish speaker, anyone in Israel, they're just going
• 58:04
Speaker 5: to lose their mind.
• 58:05
Speaker 4: Yeah, so they lost their mind. But what you said,
• 58:08
Speaker 4: I actually watched your speech, and I was like, based, based, based,
• 58:13
Speaker 4: no notes, no notes. So let's just start there.
• 58:16
  Speaker 6: What?
• 58:18
Speaker 4: We can get into what the NatCon goal is. There's
• 58:20
Speaker 4: a lot of people that speculate that it's actually sort
• 58:22
Speaker 4: of like a Trojan horse for a greater Israel project
• 58:25
Speaker 4: and all that. But why did you go? Why did
• 58:28
Speaker 4: you decide to go there and speak in the first place, Matthew?
• 58:31
Speaker 15: Yeah, thank you for asking that question. You know, so
• 58:35
Speaker 15: I was asked to go, I think, months ago and
• 58:37
  Speaker 15: I thought. look, I have a busy schedule. I know
• 58:40
Speaker 15: full well if I go to Jerusalem, to NatCon, I'm
• 58:43
Speaker 15: going to get people on both sides yelling that, you know, ironically,
• 58:47
Speaker 15: both that I'm a Nazi and.
• 58:48
Speaker 2: A pawn of the, you know, Zionists.
• 58:51
Speaker 15: And I thought the only reason to go, you know,
• 58:53
Speaker 15: to NatCon in Jerusalem would be to actually address some
• 58:55
Speaker 15: of these issues about American-Israeli relations. And at the time,
• 58:59
  Speaker 15: I thought, you know, I'm too busy. I don't think
• 59:02
Speaker 15: I can pull that off of my schedule. And then
• 59:04
Speaker 15: I started to look at what was going on behind
• 59:06
Speaker 15: the scenes on the right. And I think there's a
• 59:08
Speaker 15: lot of bad actors who are trying to stir up division. Uh,
• 59:11
Speaker 15: you know, it's particularly anti-Vance people, uh, with charges of
• 59:15
Speaker 15: anti-Semitism and, you know, claiming they speak for the right
• 59:19
Speaker 15: and trying to gatekeep.
• 59:20
Speaker 2: And I just saw this mess and, uh, uh, um,
• 59:24
Speaker 2: Yoram and, um, our friend.
• 59:26
Speaker 15: Amanda Milius reached out and said, hey, we want to
• 59:28
Speaker 15: have this panel to directly address these issues.
• 59:31
Speaker 2: And I thought, you know, this is right.
• 59:33
Speaker 15: The time is right to actually start talking about this
• 59:35
Speaker 15: and untangling this mess we have, where on the one side,
• 59:40
Speaker 15: you have people, as Blake just said, who anything Israel
• 59:45
Speaker 15: or Jewish is, you know, is terrible and a non-starter.
• 59:48
Speaker 15: And they're screaming about how everyone's a tool of the Zionists.
• 59:51
Speaker 15: And the other side is you have people who are
• 59:55
Speaker 15: yelling that everyone is, you know, an anti-Semite, many times unfairly.
• 59:59
Speaker 15: So I thought the time is now to just disentangle this.
• 1:00:02
Speaker 2: And my main point is very simple.
• 1:00:03
Speaker 15: My main point was, don't mistake the fact, especially if
• 1:00:06
Speaker 15: you are Israeli, that in American politics, there's a lot
• 1:00:10
Speaker 15: of people who are against intervention, they're concerned about foreign intervention,
• 1:00:13
  Speaker 15: but generally they're pro-Israel, they're friendly. And I think The
• 1:00:18
Speaker 15: new right, there's a lot of people in the new
• 1:00:19
Speaker 15: right who see a little bit of decoupling, nothing crazy,
• 1:00:22
Speaker 15: but a little bit of separating America from the Middle
• 1:00:24
Speaker 15: East and taking a step back. And the flip side
• 1:00:26
Speaker 15: of that is more sovereignty for Israel. I think that's
• 1:00:29
Speaker 15: common sense. But, you know, common sense doesn't fly these days.
• 1:00:34
Speaker 2: And there was a lot of controversy.
• 1:00:35
Speaker 5: So, Matt, we like to talk about this. Charlie spent
• 1:00:39
Speaker 5: a lot of time talking about it. He spent a
• 1:00:40
Speaker 5: lot of effort behind the scenes on this because he
• 1:00:43
Speaker 5: knew Israel. years ago, this was a growing issue within
• 1:00:47
Speaker 5: the right that people are getting increasingly radicalized on the
• 1:00:51
Speaker 5: Israel topic and how it relates to foreign intervention and
• 1:00:53
Speaker 5: everything else. And he wanted something stable, something that the
• 1:00:56
Speaker 5: movement could, even if there was disagreement, that we would
• 1:00:59
Speaker 5: avoid blowing up and letting the far left win elections
• 1:01:01
  Speaker 5: over it.
• 1:01:02
Speaker 3: So what do you see as a stable point? Like
• 1:01:06
Speaker 3: if we have J.D.
• 1:01:08
Speaker 5: Vance running in 2028, or even candidates going beyond, what
• 1:01:12
Speaker 5: is a position they could stake out that would satisfy
• 1:01:16
Speaker 5: enough people and be a point that it can win
• 1:01:18
Speaker 5: over voters and keep people in our movement from spiraling
• 1:01:23
Speaker 5: out one way or the other?
• 1:01:24
Speaker 15: I think that the acknowledgement has to be, and I
• 1:01:27
Speaker 15: think that J.D. has tried to do this a little bit,
• 1:01:30
Speaker 15: but I think the next step is to say, look,
• 1:01:33
Speaker 15: we're two separate countries. Our interests don't always align. And
• 1:01:37
Speaker 15: sometimes our interests do align. And when they align, great,
• 1:01:39
Speaker 15: we work together. When they don't, that's okay. You know,
• 1:01:43
Speaker 15: we're still friends. And I think that a little bit
• 1:01:45
Speaker 15: of independence is what's needed here. There is a little
• 1:01:48
Speaker 15: bit of good fences make good neighbors. The United States,
• 1:01:52
Speaker 15: very simply, the national security strategy that was written last year,
• 1:01:55
Speaker 15: wants Israel to remain secure. You know, that's just true.
• 1:02:00
Speaker 15: The question is, how much do we get involved, right,
• 1:02:03
Speaker 15: in the Middle East overall? And of course, there we
• 1:02:05
Speaker 15: want less intervention. So the tradeoff is more Israeli sovereignty.
• 1:02:10
Speaker 15: And we sort of let, you know, countries in the
• 1:02:13
Speaker 15: Middle East, we encourage them to take care of their
• 1:02:16
Speaker 15: own problems themselves. And sometimes when our interests align, you know,
• 1:02:20
Speaker 15: we join in those efforts. But I think it's a
• 1:02:22
Speaker 15: very simple tradeoff in that, you know, generally speaking, that
• 1:02:27
Speaker 15: we back away a little bit, we decouple a bit,
• 1:02:29
Speaker 15: and there's more sovereignty and independence there. And you see
• 1:02:32
Speaker 15: the same thing, by the way, such as Israel throughout
• 1:02:34
Speaker 15: the world, the same thing in Europe.
• 1:02:36
Speaker 2: You know, those countries have made themselves weak.
• 1:02:39
Speaker 15: NATO didn't really make a lot of sense by the
• 1:02:41
Speaker 15: time Donald Trump appeared on the scene. And we want
• 1:02:43
Speaker 15: the same thing to happen there. So I don't see
• 1:02:45
Speaker 15: it as strange or abnormal. I think there's an obvious
• 1:02:48
Speaker 15: next step, generally speaking.
• 1:02:49
  Speaker 2: Moving forward.
• 1:02:51
Speaker 4: I want to play some of your clips here because
• 1:02:53
Speaker 4: you did a great job. I mean, your speech, I
• 1:02:55
Speaker 4: recommend everybody watch Matthew's entire speech. It's short, but it's
• 1:03:00
Speaker 4: very powerful. Sat 9.
• 1:03:02
Speaker 14: I understand the desire to call out hatred. Denouncing anti-Semitism
• 1:03:07
Speaker 14: in America in the abstract these days is much like
• 1:03:10
Speaker 14: calling an opponent racist.
• 1:03:13
Speaker 6: Both terms have been hollowed out by the left.
• 1:03:16
Speaker 14: The ADL, for instance, has long since lost any power
• 1:03:19
Speaker 14: over the right by attacking figures like Donald Trump, Elon Musk,
• 1:03:22
Speaker 14: and TPUSA. We have a boy who cried wolf problem
• 1:03:26
Speaker 14: in America and the West. The left makes accusations like
• 1:03:28
Speaker 14: this all the time. And the younger rising right doesn't
• 1:03:31
Speaker 14: care about being called names or abstract ists or isms
• 1:03:34
  Speaker 14: from any side.
• 1:03:36
Speaker 2: And frankly, neither do I.
• 1:03:37
Speaker 14: But I do not mean to tell anyone to be silent.
• 1:03:39
  Speaker 4: Far from it.
• 1:03:40
Speaker 14: On the contrary, if we're going to sort through the noise,
• 1:03:42
Speaker 14: my advice is to stop using abstract categories and isms
• 1:03:46
Speaker 14: and ists and istics. Call out and argue instead about
• 1:03:49
Speaker 14: specific statements and positions you think wrong or evil instead.
• 1:03:53
Speaker 14: Ask specific questions to specific people.
• 1:03:57
Speaker 4: I can't tell you, I was like standing up in
• 1:03:59
Speaker 4: my chair when you said this, because one of the most,
• 1:04:02
Speaker 4: I think, counterproductive tendencies of the pro-Israel right, and some
• 1:04:07
Speaker 4: of my Jewish friends as well, is that it's like
• 1:04:10
Speaker 4: you get called names all the time. Charlie got called names,
• 1:04:13
Speaker 4: and Charlie was a defender of many of these values
• 1:04:16
Speaker 4: that they care about, and many of the Israeli sovereignty
• 1:04:19
Speaker 4: and security. And I just, it's been so destructive, and
• 1:04:23
Speaker 4: I love that you just went straight in there And
• 1:04:26
Speaker 4: you said, hey, enough of the isms. You have to
• 1:04:29
Speaker 4: get specific. Stop with the abstracts. They're counterproductive. How did
• 1:04:33
Speaker 4: that go over in the room?
• 1:04:34
Speaker 15: So the interesting thing is that as opposed to online,
• 1:04:37
Speaker 15: granted it was a self-selected room, we were mobbed like
• 1:04:40
Speaker 15: rock stars after that speech. I mean, a bunch of
• 1:04:42
Speaker 15: people came up, so many people came up to talk
• 1:04:45
Speaker 15: to us that they said everyone had to get off
• 1:04:47
  Speaker 15: the stage.
• 1:04:47
Speaker 2: They were worried about the stage collapsing.
• 1:04:49
Speaker 15: And in general, I'd say, especially with younger Israelis, They
• 1:04:53
Speaker 15: completely understood what I was saying. Several younger Israelis came up,
• 1:04:58
Speaker 15: particularly young men, and said, thank you for saying that.
• 1:05:01
Speaker 15: I 100% agree. And then there were questions from some of.
• 1:05:05
Speaker 2: The older people about, well, what did you mean by this?
• 1:05:07
Speaker 2: What do you mean by that?
• 1:05:08
Speaker 15: And talking past each other is what's important here, because
• 1:05:12
Speaker 15: I don't think most Americans know the perspective of the
• 1:05:15
  Speaker 15: Israeli right wing.
• 1:05:16
Speaker 2: Many of those people say, we don't want foreign aid
• 1:05:19
Speaker 2: anymore from America. We don't need it. But you don't
• 1:05:21
Speaker 2: hear that on certain networks in America.
• 1:05:23
Speaker 15: And then the reverse of it is, I think a
• 1:05:25
Speaker 15: lot of the Israeli right wing doesn't quite understand what's
• 1:05:28
Speaker 15: happening in America. So, you know, in terms of the
• 1:05:32
Speaker 15: crowd right there, they were very supportive, very interested. And,
• 1:05:37
Speaker 15: you know, there was a lot of applause during the
• 1:05:39
Speaker 15: speech when I gave it. And the irony is, of course,
• 1:05:43
Speaker 15: you know, certain people online who've anointed themselves as, you know,
• 1:05:47
Speaker 15: the gatekeepers of the right went, they were apoplectic about it.
• 1:05:51
Speaker 2: And so were the... So were the Gripers, right? They
• 1:05:53
Speaker 2: were very upset as well.
• 1:05:55
Speaker 15: So, you know, I kind of think my job many times,
• 1:05:59
Speaker 15: and it's part of what Forum's about, is to have
• 1:06:01
Speaker 15: these conversations, and I don't really care if I get
• 1:06:03
Speaker 15: attacked by both sides.
• 1:06:04
Speaker 4: And so what you just lined out there, so I'm
• 1:06:07
Speaker 4: listening to this, and this has been kind of my
• 1:06:10
Speaker 4: reflection on a lot of this Israel discussion, especially after
• 1:06:14
Speaker 4: losing Charlie, is it's like you've got the neocons that
• 1:06:18
Speaker 4: are very loud and very morally certain about their positions.
• 1:06:22
Speaker 4: And then you've got the Groiper crowd and the far-right crowd,
• 1:06:24
Speaker 4: the anti-Israel crowd, that are very morally certain about their position.
• 1:06:27
Speaker 4: And then you've got this center cut. Which is most
• 1:06:30
Speaker 4: of the party. And 20% over there. You've got 60%
• 1:06:33
Speaker 4: to 70% of us in the middle that are just going... 80, 85.
• 1:06:35
  Speaker 10: Maybe, yeah.
• 1:06:36
Speaker 4: It could be that large. That are going like, can
• 1:06:38
Speaker 4: we not have a pragmatic, realist foreign policy position on Israel?
• 1:06:43
Speaker 4: We're not scapegoating people. but we're also making space for
• 1:06:47
Speaker 4: the fact that, hey, they have a type of nationalism
• 1:06:49
Speaker 4: and sovereignty that we would like, actually, where they get
• 1:06:52
Speaker 4: to say we're a distinctly Jewish state. I would love
• 1:06:54
Speaker 4: to say we're a distinctly Christian Western nation, okay? And
• 1:06:58
Speaker 4: we're not going to let in people that are going
• 1:06:59
Speaker 4: to ruin that. I want to be able to say
• 1:07:01
Speaker 4: that without anybody saying, well, no, you have to let
• 1:07:04
Speaker 4: in all these people. No, I like what Israel has.
• 1:07:06
Speaker 4: I like their border. I want to take that from them,
• 1:07:09
Speaker 4: and I want to be able to morally justify it here.
• 1:07:11
Speaker 4: So it works both ways.
• 1:07:15
Speaker 14: Understand where many of the young men on the right
• 1:07:17
Speaker 14: are coming from. If you are a young white American,
• 1:07:21
Speaker 14: you have grown up in an education system and culture
• 1:07:24
Speaker 14: that celebrated both mass migration to America as well as
• 1:07:28
Speaker 14: organized tribalism in America among all those being imported there.
• 1:07:33
Speaker 14: An educational system and political culture that encouraged every ethnicity
• 1:07:37
Speaker 14: to join together as an interest group against oppression from, well, you.
• 1:07:42
Speaker 14: They have been told that they must apologize for their
• 1:07:44
Speaker 14: whiteness and that if they were ever to act as
• 1:07:46
Speaker 14: a group like everyone else in America they see as
• 1:07:48
Speaker 14: trained to do and celebrated for doing, they are evil
• 1:07:52
Speaker 14: or Nazis. And this anti-white sentiment and discrimination has had
• 1:07:56
Speaker 14: very predictable results. This is the reality in which young
• 1:07:59
Speaker 14: people have been born into, a reality in which World
• 1:08:02
Speaker 14: War II is as far away as the Civil War
• 1:08:05
Speaker 14: was to those who fought in that conflict.
• 1:08:08
Speaker 5: First of all, that's great. So amen to basically every
• 1:08:12
Speaker 5: single thing said there. But I feel like that's like
• 1:08:14
Speaker 5: the healthiest thing you could take. We're talking about our
• 1:08:18
Speaker 5: attitude towards Israel or whatever. And I think I remember
• 1:08:23
Speaker 5: as this was bubbling up, the line of attack was
• 1:08:26
Speaker 5: basically just or really the assertion was just it would
• 1:08:29
Speaker 5: be nice for us to have a country where our
• 1:08:31
Speaker 5: foreign policy just cares less about another country. When I
• 1:08:35
Speaker 5: was at Fox, this was about a decade ago, and
• 1:08:37
Speaker 5: it was when President Trump was contemplating strikes on Syria.
• 1:08:41
Speaker 5: And the show I was at, we had Roger Wicker on,
• 1:08:44
Speaker 5: and we asked him, what is the argument for doing this?
• 1:08:48
Speaker 5: And his first response was, well, if you care about
• 1:08:51
Speaker 5: the security of Israel, you should care about these strikes.
• 1:08:55
Speaker 5: And that was a line that people heard often, and
• 1:08:57
Speaker 5: I think that is what sparked so much of the
• 1:09:00
Speaker 5: sourness towards Israel, was the sense that literally their interest
• 1:09:04
Speaker 5: was the primary thing that had us involved in the
• 1:09:07
Speaker 5: Middle East. And if you could get us towards a
• 1:09:09
Speaker 5: position where that's just not an answer you're hearing all
• 1:09:12
Speaker 5: the time, where we just care less about other countries
• 1:09:14
Speaker 5: and care more about our own a lot of this
• 1:09:17
Speaker 5: weird fever would pass and the reason that would be
• 1:09:19
Speaker 5: good is actually what was in that clip just there
• 1:09:22
Speaker 5: that in america we've had this culture that for years
• 1:09:26
Speaker 5: just takes it as a given that native traditional heritage
• 1:09:31
Speaker 5: americans people whose ancestors fought in the civil war fought
• 1:09:34
Speaker 5: in the revolution came over on the mayflower are bad
• 1:09:37
Speaker 5: and need to be dispossessed in favor of new arrivals.
• 1:09:40
Speaker 5: And probably the best thing you can do is, if
• 1:09:41
Speaker 5: you look towards Israel as an example, what drives the
• 1:09:45
Speaker 5: left so berserk about them, really more even than any
• 1:09:48
Speaker 5: war they fight, is the fact that it is just
• 1:09:50
Speaker 5: a country that is self-confidently not a diverse melting pot
• 1:09:55
Speaker 5: for everyone on the planet, but says, actually, we are
• 1:09:58
Speaker 5: a Jewish nation state. That doesn't mean everyone here is Jewish.
• 1:10:01
Speaker 5: That doesn't mean non-Jews are not allowed here. In fact,
• 1:10:04
Speaker 5: they have quite a large pool of them. But the
• 1:10:06
Speaker 5: purpose of our country is for the well-being of that
• 1:10:09
  Speaker 5: group primarily.
• 1:10:12
Speaker 3: And we should be able to have that in America.
• 1:10:13
Speaker 4: It seems like that's what you were basically communicating, Matthew,
• 1:10:17
Speaker 4: to this Israeli audience.
• 1:10:18
  Speaker 6: Yes.
• 1:10:19
Speaker 15: And, you know, it was very interesting because another thing
• 1:10:21
Speaker 15: that came up, which is another, you know, delicate, awkward topic,
• 1:10:24
Speaker 15: but it shouldn't be. We need to normalize having discussions
• 1:10:27
Speaker 15: like adults on the right and act like winners, is
• 1:10:31
Speaker 15: The frustration I tried to communicate for a lot of
• 1:10:34
Speaker 15: younger people, younger Americans who are right wing, you know,
• 1:10:38
Speaker 15: a lot of them don't even know if they've met
• 1:10:39
Speaker 15: a Jewish person in their life. But they notice that
• 1:10:42
Speaker 15: there are a lot of prominent Jewish Americans who have
• 1:10:44
Speaker 15: supported right mass migration and appear to believe they were
• 1:10:50
Speaker 15: one of the minorities that would be protected in the
• 1:10:52
Speaker 15: big rainbow coalition of the left and were supportive of
• 1:10:56
Speaker 15: identity politics as well. And of course, what's happened in
• 1:10:59
Speaker 15: the last five years is that Jewish Americans have found out,
• 1:11:02
Speaker 15: you know, the hard way that is not going to
• 1:11:04
Speaker 15: protect them. The left is not going to protect, you know,
• 1:11:07
Speaker 15: Jewish students on college campuses who are being chased down
• 1:11:10
Speaker 15: by woke lunatics. The left has rejected any sanity there.
• 1:11:14
Speaker 15: They're not going to say no to the DSA. They're
• 1:11:15
Speaker 15: not going to say no to Mamdani. So Jewish Americans
• 1:11:19
Speaker 15: are then forced with, well, the left doesn't want me anymore.
• 1:11:23
Speaker 15: I am interested in joining the right. And that's sort
• 1:11:25
Speaker 15: of what the coalitional battle is in, in, in America.
• 1:11:28
Speaker 15: So when I said that to the Israelis, what's very
• 1:11:32
Speaker 15: interesting is of course, right-wing Israelis think that the, the,
• 1:11:36
Speaker 15: you know, lefty sort of Jewish American cousins are nuts.
• 1:11:40
Speaker 2: They think this is crazy and they don't support that
• 1:11:44
  Speaker 2: at all.
• 1:11:45
Speaker 15: But of course they're reluctant to criticize because they, they,
• 1:11:50
Speaker 15: they see, they see that as possibly dangerous and they
• 1:11:53
Speaker 15: wonder if they should publicly, you know, come out and say,
• 1:11:56
Speaker 15: This is ridiculous. And my encouragement was, man, if you
• 1:12:00
Speaker 15: guys did this, if you went on, you know, a
• 1:12:01
Speaker 15: big cable network and said this crazy, like you would
• 1:12:05
Speaker 15: get a lot of support here in America.
• 1:12:06
Speaker 2: And really the crown's in the gutter.
• 1:12:08
Speaker 15: I mean, the first Israeli politician who comes on and says, look,
• 1:12:11
Speaker 15: this anti-white discrimination is crazy.
• 1:12:13
Speaker 2: What you guys are doing here is crazy. This is
• 1:12:15
Speaker 2: not what how Israel operates.
• 1:12:17
Speaker 15: And we would die if we imported a bunch of
• 1:12:19
Speaker 15: people and train them to hate us.
• 1:12:20
Speaker 2: Now, we would never do that. And people shouldn't be
• 1:12:23
Speaker 2: for that here, whether they're Jewish or not.
• 1:12:25
Speaker 15: And then if you also said, I don't need your
• 1:12:26
Speaker 15: aid anymore, by the way, we should be an independent nation.
• 1:12:29
Speaker 2: We don't want to just be a client state.
• 1:12:31
Speaker 15: And anyone who said that would be immensely popular and
• 1:12:34
Speaker 15: sort of begin to resolve this problem.
• 1:12:36
Speaker 4: Matthew, I want to play this other clip because you
• 1:12:38
Speaker 4: go straight into the heart of this evangelical debate, because
• 1:12:41
  Speaker 4: that's really what's happening here. There's a very insidious group
• 1:12:45
Speaker 4: of people that now hate evangelical Christians. We used to
• 1:12:48
Speaker 4: be so ecumenical on the right, and we need to
• 1:12:50
Speaker 4: get back there. But that's a wedge issue because evangelicals
• 1:12:53
Speaker 4: tend to support Israel based on a theological premise. They
• 1:12:56
Speaker 4: have become also smeared, slandered, and persona non grata in
• 1:13:01
Speaker 4: some circles. You go straight at this, and I love it.
• 1:13:04
Speaker 14: Many of my evangelical friends still here stand with Israel
• 1:13:08
Speaker 14: as a religious duty. For many other Christians in America,
• 1:13:12
Speaker 14: the idea that their religion requires them to support the
• 1:13:14
Speaker 14: particular policies of another nation is deeply insulting. Many Republicans
• 1:13:19
Speaker 14: frequently complain to me that they're done with this dynamic. Many, again,
• 1:13:23
Speaker 14: who support Israel, want me to convey this message. They
• 1:13:27
Speaker 14: do not think that their Christianity requires them to blindly
• 1:13:30
Speaker 14: support whatever decisions Israel chooses to make and find it
• 1:13:33
Speaker 14: condescending if anyone assumes that this is the way they should.
• 1:13:36
  Speaker 2: Think about it.
• 1:13:38
Speaker 14: Now, this does not mean that they see no religious
• 1:13:40
Speaker 14: ties to the Holy Land. It means that relying on
• 1:13:43
Speaker 14: this approach alone to American Christians is a dead end.
• 1:13:48
Speaker 14: I submit the way forward is frank policy discussions based
• 1:13:52
Speaker 14: on reality. This means getting clear where interests align and
• 1:13:55
  Speaker 14: do not.
• 1:13:56
Speaker 2: And when they do not, it's okay.
• 1:13:59
Speaker 4: I love this because I have perceived the same thing, Matthew.
• 1:14:02
Speaker 4: It is a dead end to say you are religiously
• 1:14:06
Speaker 4: duty-bound to support Israel. That is condescending, and it goes
• 1:14:11
Speaker 4: over like a lead balloon. Let's just put it that way.
• 1:14:15
Speaker 4: Final minute to you, Matthew. What is the way forward?
• 1:14:18
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 1:14:18
Speaker 15: And just on that note, real quick, I mean, evangelicals
• 1:14:21
Speaker 15: are great friends, but not everyone thinks that way.
• 1:14:23
Speaker 2: And so the argument can't go that way. And that's OK.
• 1:14:27
Speaker 2: That's all right. We're in a big, beautiful coalition.
• 1:14:29
Speaker 15: So the way forward, really, for the right in general
• 1:14:31
Speaker 15: is to realize that we broke the back of the
• 1:14:34
  Speaker 15: left in 2024.
• 1:14:35
Speaker 2: That election was not supposed to go the way it did.
• 1:14:37
  Speaker 2: We won.
• 1:14:39
Speaker 15: And now we have to act like winners, which means
• 1:14:41
Speaker 15: having these difficult discussions about where we agree and disagree.
• 1:14:44
Speaker 15: And when it comes to foreign policy in general, Americans
• 1:14:47
Speaker 15: on the right are rethinking foreign alliances with all nations,
• 1:14:50
Speaker 15: not just Israel. But the point is that most people
• 1:14:53
Speaker 15: were still friendly to Israel. We just want to, you know,
• 1:14:56
Speaker 15: we want to fine tune and rethink all of our
• 1:14:59
Speaker 15: alliances when it comes to international relations. And when we
• 1:15:03
Speaker 15: do that, there's going to be pluses and minuses and tradeoffs.
• 1:15:05
Speaker 15: And ultimately, it's more sovereignty for the Israelis and a
• 1:15:09
Speaker 15: little bit of decoupling in a sensible way.
• 1:15:11
Speaker 2: And we move forward and we get over this matter.
• 1:15:14
Speaker 4: Matthew J. Peterson, founder of The Forum. Hope to work
