  - what to do when we keep looking for

  - answers everywhere except God's word.

  - You know, we live in a world overflowing
• 1:08
  - with advice.
• 1:10
  - We search the Internet.
• 1:13
  - We'll watch videos.
• 1:15
  - We'll ask friends
• 1:16
  - and
• 1:18
  - read countless opinions.
• 1:21
  - And yet, sometimes the last place we look
• 1:24
  - is the only place
• 1:26
  - that never changes and has the true answers,
• 1:30
  - which is God's word.
• 1:33
  - Proverbs
• 1:34
  - three six

  - tells us that in all our ways
• 1:38
  - acknowledge him and he will direct our paths.

  - And I think sometimes
• 1:46
  - we don't often go to God's word, even
• 1:49
  - though
• 1:50
  - we know that we should for various reasons,

  - maybe it's, we feel God's too busy
• 1:58
  - or our problems too small, or

  - we're not worthy to come to him.

  - Whatever the reason,

  - the bottom line is
• 2:10
  - that if we're going to get the proper
• 2:12
  - answer,
• 2:13
  - we've gotta go to the proper source.

  - And I often said that there's not one

  - thing that we go through
• 2:22
  - that God doesn't know about
• 2:24
  - that's too small
• 2:26
  - or too busy or too big.

  - He's our father,
• 2:32
  - and every good parent wants to

  - help their children
• 2:37
  - find a solution,
• 2:39
  - troubleshoot,
• 2:41
  - and ultimately
• 2:42
  - build
• 2:43
  - their faith and confidence as they're

  - reinforcing
• 2:47
  - the relationship.

  - So

  - take heart

  - and remember to breathe.

  - Help us to treasure

  - scripture as

  - our source of wisdom and direction.

  - Open our eyes to the answers you have

  - already placed in your word,

  - and teach us to build our life on

  - truth

  - rather than trends.

  - Let your word become the voice we trust

  - and we will bless you in Jesus' name.
