- 0:38Speaker 2: are good and Candi Slopez, how are you.
- 0:40Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 0:41Speaker 5: I'm good, but I'm hungry because I saw something that
- 0:42Speaker 5: said it was National Gingerbread Cookie Day.
- 0:45Speaker 4: It is, yeah, I guess.
- 0:46Speaker 5: So I don't know why that's in November and not December.
- 0:49Speaker 4: But so my younger niece and I.
- 0:51Speaker 5: Have like a shared note on our iPhones that we
- 0:54Speaker 5: both can add to at any time, and we just
- 0:56Speaker 5: have like holiday cookie recipes that we just send back
- 0:59Speaker 5: and forth all the time. So if anybody has one,
- 1:02Speaker 5: please send it to me so I can add it
- 1:03Speaker 5: to the list.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Oh good, send it to her at Canis on air.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you can do that.
- 1:07Speaker 5: Yeah, so she'll add cookie recipes all year long, and
- 1:10Speaker 5: I'll Adam and we have so many right now. I
- 1:12Speaker 5: know it's like so random because I'll send them late
- 1:14Speaker 5: at night or early in the morning and she'll laugh,
- 1:16Speaker 5: you know, if it's like not around the holidays. So,
- 1:18Speaker 5: now that the holidays are so close, I'm just taking
- 1:21Speaker 5: a look at my recipe.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Selection, you know.
- 1:23Speaker 2: And cookies hit different during the holidays. Yeah, like favorite
- 1:26Speaker 2: holiday cookie, cannice go.
- 1:27Speaker 4: It's a classic sugar cookies.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Okay, really Yeah, I like those ghetto grocery store Christmas
- 1:33Speaker 2: tree cookies. Oh, the ones that are kind of puffy,
- 1:35Speaker 2: kind of dry.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Oh, the ones that have the icing. Yes, yeah, I
- 1:38Speaker 1: like those two.
- 1:39Speaker 2: You're good. You ever see something that gets you incredibly
- 1:43Speaker 2: mad because someone's rich and you're not. Oh yeah, all
- 1:45Speaker 2: the time, like someone getting rich for the most ridiculous
- 1:48Speaker 2: reason ever.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I just watched a story or saw some story on
- 1:52Speaker 2: Instagram where this guy had been chasing a pigeon in
- 1:57Speaker 2: San Jose, California, because it had a very rare coloring.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I didn't even know people collected pigeons. No, this one
- 2:03Speaker 2: pigeon had it very and it's on video. It was
- 2:06Speaker 2: a rare pigeon. It was like a one in a
- 2:08Speaker 2: billion chance this color I don't know whatever colorway would
- 2:12Speaker 2: be on a pigeon on his wings. So he finds
- 2:15Speaker 2: the pigeon, He traps the pigeon. What and it's on
- 2:19Speaker 2: video in the middle of the city. He traps the pigeon,
- 2:23Speaker 2: takes it, and then puts it up for auction, and
- 2:25Speaker 2: a Russian billionaire buys it for five million dollars. Yes,
- 2:30Speaker 2: are you kidding? This guy was literally broke and now
- 2:33Speaker 2: he's a millionaire because he trapped a pigeon.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Why do that?
- 2:37Speaker 2: Why can't I do anything right now?
- 2:39Speaker 4: We'll stop avoiding birds.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't like No, pigeons are cool, though, I'm
- 2:43Speaker 2: actually cool pigeons anyway. Producer Phoo is here. What's up, Poo?
- 2:47Speaker 6: I owe my twelve year old son Paul in an
- 2:49Speaker 6: apology for something I did yesterday.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Why would you do something you would think I would
- 2:54Speaker 1: never do?
- 2:55Speaker 7: Work?
- 2:55Speaker 1: No? Okay?
- 2:57Speaker 6: So him and his friend Wesley, they play inner year
- 3:00Speaker 6: old soccer at the rec center over here in Wiley
- 3:03Speaker 6: And I was in charge of snacks and I completely
- 3:06Speaker 6: forgot Wow, And I showed up first of all, I
- 3:09Speaker 6: showed up to the game thirty minutes late, it's stolen
- 3:13Speaker 6: in and everybody's looking.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Let me ask, why do why do you think that's
- 3:17Speaker 2: unlike you? Because that's absolutely.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Like you when it comes to snacks.
- 3:21Speaker 2: But key, the snacks weren't for you. Wait, don't matter
- 3:25Speaker 2: what if the snacks were for you, big back ain't
- 3:28Speaker 2: forgetting Listen.
- 3:28Speaker 6: I pride myself on snack duty. Okay, yeah, I'm king
- 3:33Speaker 6: when it comes to stack. All the kids just waiting
- 3:35Speaker 6: and got I rolled.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Up and everybody was looking.
- 3:38Speaker 6: Wow, why I was eating orange slices and capri sons
- 3:43Speaker 6: and I'm just looking.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Around like you weren't bringing them for everyone?
- 3:46Speaker 6: No, I was bringing them for everybody. But the team
- 3:49Speaker 6: they played they got their snacks. Oh yeah, I forgot.
- 3:52Speaker 6: And yeah, I was like, did they win or lose
- 3:54Speaker 6: that game?
- 3:55Speaker 1: They lost?
- 3:56Speaker 2: Oh wow, and now we know why you so wait
- 4:01Speaker 2: to let the team down. All right, dirty little secret?
- 4:04Speaker 2: Coming up at six fifty, we got Texas Top Stories
- 4:06Speaker 2: coming up next, and it's Friday.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 4:09Speaker 2: It's Texas Top Stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid.
- 4:12Speaker 7: In the morning only on the new Mix one O two.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Point nine Cannaslow Pas with everything you need to know Cannice.
- 4:18Speaker 4: What up?
- 4:19Speaker 5: Well, two middle school students from Mansfield ISD have been
- 4:22Speaker 5: cast in the ABC comedy Abbott Elementary. So their names
- 4:26Speaker 5: are Aris Jones and Raymond where they both went to
- 4:29Speaker 5: the Fine Arts Academy. Uh, they're the intermediate school in Mansfield.
- 4:33Speaker 5: They were both there for a while and they both
- 4:36Speaker 5: sent in audition tape so for their roles.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Both booked those roles.
- 4:40Speaker 5: So Aris is gonna be right in episode seven, Raymond
- 4:44Speaker 5: will be in episode nine.
- 4:45Speaker 4: These are gonna air next month.
- 4:47Speaker 5: So the funny part is neither of them even knew
- 4:49Speaker 5: that the other one was getting a role, and then
- 4:52Speaker 5: they both found out, like we went to school together,
- 4:54Speaker 5: we're both gonna be on the show. So they don't
- 4:56Speaker 5: even go to the same school now.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Which is odd that. So where's it going to air?
- 5:01Speaker 5: Yeah, it's going to air in December. I mean, this
- 5:03Speaker 5: show is incredible. It's called Abbott Elementary. If you haven't
- 5:06Speaker 5: watched it, it's on ABC. It's set in Philadelphia elementary school.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Nice but it's had multiple Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG and
- 5:14Speaker 5: dibble NAACP Image Awards. So they're joining like a highly
- 5:19Speaker 5: successful show for these I.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Know, I'm biased, but I think we have pumped out
- 5:24Speaker 2: so many superstars, yes, out of North Texas, from you know,
- 5:28Speaker 2: Selena and Grand Prairie, Demi Lovado, Post Malone, not just
- 5:31Speaker 2: like you know singers, also actors and actresses.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Too, Yeah for sure, So yeah, that's cool.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Congrats to them though, can't wait to see you guys
- 5:39Speaker 5: on TV. And just adds up, Holiday spending this year
- 5:42Speaker 5: is expected to hit more than one trillion dollars for
- 5:45Speaker 5: the first time ever.
- 5:47Speaker 4: So even though you.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Know most of us are feeling a little cautious with spending,
- 5:51Speaker 5: it looks like most people are still planning to prioritize
- 5:54Speaker 5: holiday gifts and celebrations, just with a little more bargain
- 5:58Speaker 5: hunting this year. But I can't believe we're a week
- 6:01Speaker 5: away from Black Friday, so.
- 6:02Speaker 2: At trillion dollars And then it's just weird to think
- 6:05Speaker 2: that that's what Elon Musk is worth. Oh my gosh,
- 6:09Speaker 2: I think about that the entire country spends for the
- 6:12Speaker 2: holidays what he's worth, the entire all of the United
- 6:16Speaker 2: States population. God, I feel poor anyone.
- 6:19Speaker 4: That's hard to process for sure, guys.
- 6:22Speaker 5: A Betty Boop is the latest animated character to get
- 6:25Speaker 5: a horror movie.
- 6:27Speaker 4: What a weird thing, guys.
- 6:29Speaker 5: I know, so they've done this with Mickey Mouse, Winnie
- 6:31Speaker 5: the Pooh, and Popeye before.
- 6:34Speaker 4: That was weird for me. But this movie is called Boop.
- 6:37Speaker 5: The official synopsis says it's about a team of horror
- 6:40Speaker 5: podcast investigators that break into an abandoned theater to find
- 6:45Speaker 5: the hauntings of a starlet once known as Boop. But
- 6:49Speaker 5: a simple investigation turns into a horrific blood bath as
- 6:53Speaker 5: they fight to escape the murderous Boop.
- 6:55Speaker 4: She's out for revenge.
- 6:57Speaker 2: But it's happening.
- 6:58Speaker 4: This is really happening.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Wow.
- 7:00Speaker 5: How they come up with these animated characters and decide
- 7:03Speaker 5: that all of a sudden they're gonna put him in
- 7:05Speaker 5: the horror genre.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I know, it's wild to me.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I don't know who owns the Betty Boop image or whatever,
- 7:10Speaker 2: but they give them permission to do this.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess.
- 7:13Speaker 7: So.
- 7:13Speaker 5: The producers are saying it's gonna be different than other
- 7:16Speaker 5: cartoon turned killer movies, that it's a true testament to feminism,
- 7:21Speaker 5: and it's mostly female team, which is also very interesting.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I mean, hey, they did this with.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Mickey Oh yeah, it's awful.
- 7:28Speaker 1: They did, and Winnie the Boom and.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Disney Loud It.
- 7:33Speaker 5: I don't know the back end of all of that
- 7:34Speaker 5: how that worked out, but yeah, there's horror movies like that.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Maybe they're just inspired.
- 7:39Speaker 2: By yeah, inspired by it.
- 7:40Speaker 4: They could get away with it somehow.
- 7:42Speaker 2: The Mickey Mouse I know is super nice. Oh no,
- 7:45Speaker 2: I just met. Yeah, don't tell me he's mean.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Yeah, No, he's absolutely, I mean magical man.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Kids, if you're listening, Mickey's fine. Yes, He's not gonna
- 7:54Speaker 2: hurt you.
- 7:54Speaker 5: No, never, Okay, good, all right, I'm Kandoslopez.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Those are your Texas Top stories.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Hopefully you're having a good Friday so far. Don't forget.
- 8:02Speaker 2: We got a dirty little secret coming up at six
- 8:04Speaker 2: point fifty. It's a good one too, don't miss it.
- 8:06Speaker 2: And if you've got a secret, you can always confess
- 8:08Speaker 2: to us anytime you want. It's mixed one or two
- 8:11Speaker 2: point nine. Bill at a Kid, Candice Sloan Pennis producer
- 8:13Speaker 2: Pooh first caller of the day, We got to see
- 8:16Speaker 2: Congratulations to Pooh.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Claire from Wiley.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Congratulations Claire and Wiley. Her phone dropped out, but we
- 8:23Speaker 2: still love you and call us back and we'll get
- 8:25Speaker 2: all your info and you won. You've got these tickets
- 8:26Speaker 2: to go see Pentatonics December twenty first at Dicky's Arena.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Are you're ready for real or fake news? Yep? Let's go.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Three headlines and you got to tell me which one
- 8:35Speaker 2: is fake? And this is just a fun way to talk,
- 8:37Speaker 2: you talk about ridiculous things are in loose. Headline number one,
- 8:42Speaker 2: Oreo has released a cranberry cookie to celebrate Thanksgiving. We
- 8:47Speaker 2: are less than a week away. I can't believe it.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Oreo has released a cranberry cookie to celebrate Thanksgiving. That
- 8:54Speaker 2: is headline number one. Headline number two Japanese Aquarium Let's
- 8:58Speaker 2: visitors smell animal butts?
- 9:01Speaker 4: What?
- 9:02Speaker 2: I can't make this up?
- 9:04Speaker 5: Oh?
- 9:04Speaker 2: Maybe I can. Actually, it could be the fake story.
- 9:06Speaker 2: You don't know. Japanese aquarium Let's visitors smell animal butts.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Headline number three. Stray dogs near Chernobyl are turning bright blue? What?
- 9:20Speaker 2: Stray dogs near Chernobyl are turning bright blue? Three headlines
- 9:26Speaker 2: right there? You got to tell me which one do
- 9:27Speaker 2: you think is the fake? Headline? Candice Lopez, it's Friday,
- 9:31Speaker 2: you're in a good mood. Would you like to take
- 9:33Speaker 2: the reins and just guess or would you like to
- 9:35Speaker 2: pass it to Pooh and see him fail?
- 9:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:36Speaker 5: I was actually just gonna ask if Pooh and I
- 9:38Speaker 5: could pick the same one at the same time, because
- 9:40Speaker 5: I feel like we're both going to pick the animal.
- 9:42Speaker 2: But you want to try it?
- 9:43Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I'm okay on the counter three say the story you
- 9:47Speaker 2: picked one? Two three?
- 9:48Speaker 1: Go animal butts?
- 9:50Speaker 2: Okay, all right, are you are? You want to lock
- 9:52Speaker 2: that in?
- 9:53Speaker 1: Both here? Yeah?
- 9:54Speaker 2: I just saved that clip. By the way, both of
- 9:56Speaker 2: you just screaming animal butts, animal, You're it's never been
- 10:04Speaker 2: done before, but it's locked in, and the winner is
- 10:10Speaker 2: you are both losers. You you are losers. I'm sorry,
- 10:16Speaker 2: I win. That is an absolute real story.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Stop it.
- 10:21Speaker 2: But I'm gonna get to here in a second. Yes, so, yes,
- 10:24Speaker 2: I thought that. Yeah, so that's the Yeah. No, that's
- 10:28Speaker 2: that's a real story. The fake story was Oreo has
- 10:31Speaker 2: released a cranberry cookie to celebrate Thanksgiving. Okay, that's the
- 10:34Speaker 2: one I made up. Okay, let's get to the animal butts.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Are you ready? There is an aquarium in I don't
- 10:42Speaker 2: know if I'm gonna get through this. God, there is
- 10:44Speaker 2: an aquarium in Japan. That has a very unusual exhibit
- 10:47Speaker 2: that lets visitors smell what different animal butts smell like.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Why The display features framed portraits of animals, including penguins, tigers, hippos,
- 10:58Speaker 2: and koalas, each with a small hole near the picture.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Absolutely not.
- 11:04Speaker 2: And when people lean in and sniff through the holes
- 11:06Speaker 2: what they get a whiff of what that animal's booty
- 11:10Speaker 2: smells like?
- 11:11Speaker 1: I cannot believe this wrong?
- 11:13Speaker 2: Who's already on Expedia trying to find it a take
- 11:17Speaker 2: it to Japan? The smells are fake, so they're created artificially.
- 11:22Speaker 2: They're safe to breathe in, just so you know. The
- 11:25Speaker 2: aquarium says the exhibit is meant to teach people how
- 11:28Speaker 2: animals used to smell, to communicate with each other, and
- 11:32Speaker 2: how to figure out things like health and mood. So
- 11:34Speaker 2: that's why they do it. It's a learning experience. Videos
- 11:36Speaker 2: of people sniffing these portraits have gone viral online. You
- 11:39Speaker 2: could see them and the faces are hysterical. How they're
- 11:42Speaker 2: just immediately like eh, But some way, somehow this is
- 11:47Speaker 2: real and people are actually doing it, which is very disturbing.
- 11:52Speaker 2: The other story, stray dogs near Chernobyl are turning bright blue.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Several dogs living near the Chernobyl nuclear disaster site that
- 12:01Speaker 2: obviously is notorious for having effects on animals, and it's
- 12:07Speaker 2: not been inhabited in years and years and years, but
- 12:10Speaker 2: there's dogs that are mysteriously turning blue, baffling animal rescuers
- 12:14Speaker 2: and scientists. The Dogs of Chernobyl organization, which cares for
- 12:17Speaker 2: about seven hundred stray dogs in the area, discovered three
- 12:21Speaker 2: completely blue dogs while working to sterilize animals in the
- 12:24Speaker 2: exclusion zone. Locals reported that these same dogs looked normal
- 12:30Speaker 2: just a few weeks earlier, so the organization had posted
- 12:34Speaker 2: videos showing the blue colored dogs alongside with other dogs
- 12:38Speaker 2: that look regular whatever. Now, despite their appearance, though it
- 12:42Speaker 2: looks like they're okay, they're acting normal, they're healthy, they're
- 12:45Speaker 2: active whatever. They're trying to figure out what happened. One
- 12:49Speaker 2: theory is that they actually accidentally rolled in chemicals from
- 12:53Speaker 2: a porta potty and they're staying or it could be
- 12:57Speaker 2: from the nuclear disaster and they're trying to figure.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Out why radioactive or something, I.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Mean possibly everything in that area is still radioactive, so
- 13:04Speaker 2: that's why people can't go there. But animals obviously don't
- 13:07Speaker 2: know better, so they've been studying animals there for years.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Isn't that weird though to think about, like that nuclear
- 13:13Speaker 2: disaster years ago is still having an effect on people
- 13:16Speaker 2: and animals around the area. And yeah there's dogs that
- 13:19Speaker 2: are bright blue. I mean, we get it though on
- 13:21Speaker 2: a smaller scale. Who ate that Walmart shrimp and grew
- 13:24Speaker 2: a tail?
- 13:25Speaker 4: Oh? Remember radioactive?
- 13:27Speaker 2: The radioactive shrimp who's wagging his tail right now? He's
- 13:33Speaker 2: a very good boy.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Get it off.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Your chest comments, you'll feel better. Welcome to the Dirty
- 13:40Speaker 4: Little Secret.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Thank you for having a son this morning, Dirty little Secret.
- 13:43Speaker 2: If you got one, reach out any time you want.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Mindhum is beibling a kid. Candice Lopez is over there,
- 13:48Speaker 2: producer who is right here? And I don't care what
- 13:50Speaker 2: the secret is? Eight three three seven eight seven one
- 13:52Speaker 2: two nine. It could be a big secret, a little secret.
- 13:54Speaker 2: This is a non judgment zone. Okay, it's what we do.
- 13:58Speaker 2: You got one?
- 13:59Speaker 8: Well, you know I always hear people on your show
- 14:02Speaker 8: talking about these are weird secrets and crazy stuff about
- 14:06Speaker 8: what they like to do. It does make me feel
- 14:09Speaker 8: way better about telling you about mine.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Oh good, Okay, Well, I'm nervous, but what is it?
- 14:14Speaker 8: Well, I'm addicted to sucking my thumb.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my thing, and we don't judge what you're
- 14:25Speaker 2: addicted to. Sucking your thumb.
- 14:28Speaker 8: Yeah, I know it sucks, right, no pun intend.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Okay, So but how why? What? I mean, what is
- 14:35Speaker 2: going on?
- 14:38Speaker 8: I can't really help it, and the only people that
- 14:41Speaker 8: really know about it are my family and friends, and
- 14:44Speaker 8: I can't control it better than I used to. But
- 14:47Speaker 8: I still do it all the time, especially when I'm driving.
- 14:51Speaker 8: When I'm in the car, I pretty much suck it
- 14:55Speaker 8: the entire time.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Oh No, I don't think this is necessary. The worst
- 15:00Speaker 2: thing besides I'm I'm a nervous person about getting sick,
- 15:03Speaker 2: so I'd be scared about you.
- 15:05Speaker 4: I feel like would have changed this happened.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I got through COVID, but it sounds like you've
- 15:10Speaker 2: been doing this pre COVID.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Wow.
- 15:12Speaker 8: Man, When I when I sleep, I do it, And
- 15:15Speaker 8: if I'm just watching TV or a movie, I do it.
- 15:19Speaker 8: If there are people around, I can kind of sneak
- 15:23Speaker 8: and just go ahead.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And I'm trying to I'm trying to figure out how
- 15:26Speaker 2: to do it. Like if I were to sneak suck
- 15:27Speaker 2: my thumber, I kind of like I'm putting my hands
- 15:29Speaker 2: over my mouth.
- 15:30Speaker 4: We'd be like, what are you doing with your hands?
- 15:32Speaker 6: Yeah, we'd see you, you know you.
- 15:36Speaker 2: I know, well, I mean this has got to be
- 15:39Speaker 2: It's obviously a comfort thing.
- 15:41Speaker 4: At least you don't talk for a living.
- 15:43Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I know it's weird. My ex girlfriend didn't
- 15:47Speaker 8: know about it. She did think it was weird and
- 15:51Speaker 8: tried to get me to stop. And you know what
- 15:54Speaker 8: the prob did. She even went to uh, tried to
- 15:57Speaker 8: get me to go to a hypnotist to try to
- 15:59Speaker 8: get me to stop.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 16:02Speaker 8: It didn't work.
- 16:03Speaker 2: It didn't work, you know.
- 16:05Speaker 8: I mean, I don't really care.
- 16:06Speaker 2: At this point, So you got rid of her.
- 16:10Speaker 8: I can't control it. I'm just doing it. It's soothing
- 16:14Speaker 8: for me, you know, I get my groove on when
- 16:16Speaker 8: I sucking myself.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I mean, we listen. We don't judge. I will say
- 16:21Speaker 2: that we've had people call up before with adult blankies, right, yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 2: we've had adult blankies. We've had the guy that had
- 16:27Speaker 2: a stuffy yeah that he had a teddy bear that
- 16:30Speaker 2: he slept with, but he would hide it when his
- 16:31Speaker 2: new girlfriend came over because he didn't want to be judged.
- 16:34Speaker 2: And then he would like have like withdrawals from it.
- 16:36Speaker 8: Can I say this? Yeah, say this? Yeah, nothing beats
- 16:39Speaker 8: a thumb, man, it's like that for you.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Maybe we should all try it. Yeah, you don't want
- 16:47Speaker 2: to try it?
- 16:48Speaker 8: No, you guys number.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I mean I used to when I was a kid.
- 16:52Speaker 2: For sure, I did.
- 16:53Speaker 4: If I ever did, my son never did.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yeah. You know what's weird is Pooh actually tried sucking
- 16:58Speaker 2: my thumb.
- 17:01Speaker 8: Oh that's personal, man, I know.
- 17:04Speaker 2: That's where I'm like, this is enough. I have to
- 17:07Speaker 2: cut them off, you know, but hey, don't do that. Listen.
- 17:12Speaker 2: At this point, you got to be you. You got
- 17:14Speaker 2: to be yourself. I don't know. I mean, if it's
- 17:16Speaker 2: not hurting anybody who cares, right, yeah, cannics. Would you
- 17:20Speaker 2: have a problem, Yes, you don't even know what I'm
- 17:23Speaker 2: gonna say. What I was gonna say, Would you have
- 17:25Speaker 2: a problem with dayting a guy? Well, yeah, I was
- 17:27Speaker 2: going to say this. Would you have a problem with
- 17:29Speaker 2: the guy dating a guy who sucked his thumb?
- 17:31Speaker 4: It'd be a little concerning, I'm honest. Yeah, because we're
- 17:34Speaker 4: trying to get our kids to stop doing that, right,
- 17:37Speaker 4: and it can mess up your teeth.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Well, listen, I'm I'm happy that you confess this. This
- 17:42Speaker 2: is the first time we've ever had a thumb sucker. Yeah. Yeah,
- 17:48Speaker 2: it's not hurting anybody. There's worse secrets and whoever is
- 17:51Speaker 2: it going to be in your life? If you're looking
- 17:53Speaker 2: for you're not with somebody right now? You said you're single. Yeah,
- 17:57Speaker 2: well hey, you know what I'm gonna see if anybody
- 17:59Speaker 2: wants to date you in the will accept you for
- 18:00Speaker 2: you and maybe you never know, we might have a
- 18:02Speaker 2: woman who sucks their thumb and then you two would
- 18:05Speaker 2: just be a match made in heaven.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Just okay, more Billy the Kid in the Morning coming.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Up on the New Mix one two point nine.
- 18:15Speaker 9: It's Texas Tough Stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 18:18Speaker 9: Kid in the Morning only on the New Mix one.
- 18:21Speaker 2: O two point nine Early on a Friday, Candae Lopez
- 18:23Speaker 2: with everything we need to know and don't forget. We
- 18:25Speaker 2: got that Disney cruise You're shot to win it? Coming
- 18:27Speaker 2: up next right after this, What's up cannas well.
- 18:30Speaker 5: A new study has ranked the best states for dating.
- 18:33Speaker 5: So they looked at affordability, cultural diversity, crime rates and
- 18:37Speaker 5: so much more to figure this out.
- 18:38Speaker 4: So who has the best dating scene?
- 18:41Speaker 2: Okay, we do we do.
- 18:44Speaker 4: The number one on the list.
- 18:47Speaker 5: Okay, so they say affordability was what really helped us,
- 18:51Speaker 5: and just how many things there are to do here.
- 18:54Speaker 4: The study also said we have.
- 18:55Speaker 5: The second most number of single adults in the country.
- 19:00Speaker 5: But they went so much as to look at, you know,
- 19:01Speaker 5: how much you know, a beer costs or a movie
- 19:04Speaker 5: ticket costs. They also looked at the number of bars
- 19:07Speaker 5: and entertainment venues. But right behind us was Idaho, North Dakota, Maryland,
- 19:13Speaker 5: and South Carolina.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Well, because if you're in Idaho, you just here's what
- 19:17Speaker 2: you got and you got to figure it out. You
- 19:18Speaker 2: know how many people? That's I think that's almost the
- 19:21Speaker 2: hard part about dating in a place that's so great
- 19:24Speaker 2: like here Dallas, for worth, is there's so much to do,
- 19:28Speaker 2: there's so many people, there's so many single people. Yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 2: there's a lot of options. Back in the day, you
- 19:33Speaker 2: didn't have Tinder and you'd have all this stuff. It's like, hey,
- 19:36Speaker 2: you got to figure it out with what you have
- 19:38Speaker 2: in your neighborhood, right.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean you're right, you're right. Well, there you go, guys.
- 19:43Speaker 5: Everybody figure out your dating situation for this weekend. If
- 19:47Speaker 5: you aren't empty nester though, trying to get your kids
- 19:49Speaker 5: home for the holidays, here's the hack parents are using.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Bribe them with food.
- 19:55Speaker 5: Of course, so according to a new survey, sixty nine
- 19:58Speaker 5: percent of parents say it it is pretty easy.
- 20:01Speaker 4: To convince them to come home.
- 20:02Speaker 5: All you need is their favorite foods. Just over a
- 20:05Speaker 5: quarter say their kids have made special requests for when
- 20:09Speaker 5: they come home, like their favorite meals, and have.
- 20:11Speaker 4: The house stocked with snacks and you know, drinks.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Don't you have to have yours like favorite snack when
- 20:16Speaker 2: you're going home. Back in the day, when you lived
- 20:17Speaker 2: in La when you came back here, did you ask
- 20:19Speaker 2: your mom to make an eating specific Oh yeah, I'd ask.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Her to make like specific pies. I would ask for
- 20:25Speaker 5: lots of like water bottles, oddly enough, because they just
- 20:27Speaker 5: don't drink water, which.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Is really strange. But mostly back.
- 20:31Speaker 2: In the day water your parents don't drink water.
- 20:34Speaker 5: They do, but they drink like SODA's mostly you know,
- 20:38Speaker 5: like doctor pepper.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's no water in it.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. I would always request stuff for my grandma
- 20:44Speaker 4: back in the day. She make everything for Oh.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 20:46Speaker 5: So, but they say the average adult kid is traveling
- 20:49Speaker 5: five hundred and ninety six miles to get home starting
- 20:52Speaker 5: this weekend. Yeah, so yeah, stock up on snacks, bribe
- 20:56Speaker 5: them to come home.
- 20:57Speaker 2: That's what I do. I mean, I used to tell
- 20:58Speaker 2: my mom if I was coming home for Thanksgiving? Are
- 21:00Speaker 2: still now? I'll be like, Mom, can you please make
- 21:01Speaker 2: this like bacon wrap sauce that she makes with like
- 21:05Speaker 2: brown sugar on it? Yeah, like make that? Can you
- 21:08Speaker 2: also make this like cream cheese pie? I know that
- 21:10Speaker 2: sounds weird.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Yeah no, I'd come to our house if she's making that.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, well you're welcome to come over.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Thanks, Yeah, I'm mine. Guys.
- 21:18Speaker 5: Netflix is revamping their gaming strategy, hoping to win over
- 21:21Speaker 5: new subscribers, so they're working to launch a game show
- 21:25Speaker 5: where you can compete to win thousands of dollars. The
- 21:29Speaker 5: game show is called Best Guests Live. It's gonna run
- 21:32Speaker 5: on weekdays at seven pm. Howie Mandel and Hunter march
- 21:36Speaker 5: A're gonna host it, and they're gonna unveil a set
- 21:38Speaker 5: of five clues, and then mobile game players can actually
- 21:42Speaker 5: tune in and make your best guess. So like the
- 21:45Speaker 5: earlier you guess correctly with fewer clues, the higher the
- 21:49Speaker 5: chances you can win.
- 21:50Speaker 4: More of the prize.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Money and you can win at home.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Yeah, you can win at home.
- 21:53Speaker 5: It's basically like what they call appointment gaming. Yeah, but
- 21:57Speaker 5: in the last two years their most popular mobile games
- 21:59Speaker 5: were Grand Theft Auto and then their squid game Unleashed Game.
- 22:03Speaker 5: But they're really trying to get into this gaming situation.
- 22:06Speaker 5: But do you guys remember when we were in lockdowns
- 22:08Speaker 5: during the pandemic?
- 22:09Speaker 4: What was that game we all played?
- 22:10Speaker 2: I remember what you're talking about.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Every day they would they would.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Do a sweepstakes like every day and you could Yes,
- 22:16Speaker 2: I can't so fun.
- 22:17Speaker 4: I can't remember what it was called.
- 22:19Speaker 2: But it was so big for a minute, and I
- 22:21Speaker 2: even got into it, and I hate those games. Yeah, yeah,
- 22:24Speaker 2: I can't remember what it was.
- 22:25Speaker 6: It was like.
- 22:28Speaker 4: It was a trivia game, right, something trivia.
- 22:31Speaker 2: H Q or Q Yeah, not trivia cracks other game.
- 22:37Speaker 5: It was something like that. But I feel like that's
- 22:39Speaker 5: what they're trying to do with this. You could earn
- 22:42Speaker 5: like cash and tokens on some of their games. It
- 22:44Speaker 5: you watch like certain numbers of episodes on the show. Yeah,
- 22:49Speaker 5: so get in the game, all right, I'm knd of sloppets.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Those are your Texas top stories. All right, it's time
- 22:57Speaker 4: for Kenns Court.
- 22:58Speaker 3: It gets settled with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 23:01Speaker 2: All rise for the audible judge Cannislowpez or like we
- 23:05Speaker 2: call her sometimes Candy Lopez, and we're allowed to do that.
- 23:08Speaker 2: She said, Now, yeah, I always felt like you hated
- 23:10Speaker 2: when I said that, but apparently you don't mind it.
- 23:12Speaker 4: I don't mind it.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Are good. It's mixed one or two point nine a
- 23:15Speaker 2: Billy the Kid, Cannaslow Pez producer, Pooh, and Cannas Court.
- 23:18Speaker 2: If you got an issue or some kind of problem relationships,
- 23:21Speaker 2: maybe it's a coworker issue or whatever the case may be,
- 23:24Speaker 2: she will solve it. So at Candas on Air, on Instagram,
- 23:27Speaker 2: at Candas on Air, hit her up and let us know.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Now here's today's After more than ten years of hosting Thanksgiving,
- 23:36Speaker 2: I finally got it down to a science. I used
- 23:39Speaker 2: to stress over every detail, but now I actually enjoy
- 23:42Speaker 2: it because I know it works. This year, though, my
- 23:45Speaker 2: husband thinks we should quote switch it up and go
- 23:48Speaker 2: non traditional with different sides, maybe even a different kind
- 23:52Speaker 2: of bird. That's weird when you put it like that,
- 23:55Speaker 2: is we a different kind of bird?
- 23:57Speaker 4: Weird?
- 23:57Speaker 2: It's a turkey is a bird.
- 23:58Speaker 4: There's always one person in the family that calls it
- 24:00Speaker 4: a bird.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's strange. The bird ready, yeah, bird ready.
- 24:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:05Speaker 2: He says it'll be fun, But I'm the one who
- 24:08Speaker 2: does all the cooking and planning, and I know how
- 24:10Speaker 2: easily fun turns into chaos when guests are expecting the classics.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Am I being stubborn for wanting to stick with what
- 24:18Speaker 2: I know? Or should I roll with it and risk
- 24:20Speaker 2: my sanity over a Thanksgiving experiment gone wrong? Oh? I
- 24:25Speaker 2: love the Thanksgiving drama. Okay, Cannis, you know I don't
- 24:27Speaker 2: cook for Thanksgiving. I might make a side or two
- 24:30Speaker 2: or yeah, or just go somewhere by and say I
- 24:32Speaker 2: made it. That's my style. So I really I don't
- 24:36Speaker 2: know what to say about this. You're the judge. What
- 24:38Speaker 2: do you think?
- 24:38Speaker 5: Yeah, well, what you know does work. It's the same
- 24:41Speaker 5: thing we've always done every year. People look forward to it.
- 24:44Speaker 5: The top sides, you know, came out the State of
- 24:47Speaker 5: the Sides that Campbell's puts out, remember couple weeks ago,
- 24:49Speaker 5: and they were like, top side everyone needs everyone loves
- 24:52Speaker 5: is stuffing, yes well and mashed potatoes and if you
- 24:55Speaker 5: don't have.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Those people are going to be seriously disappointed.
- 24:58Speaker 2: How would you even.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Consider take a major.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Risk like that on such a special holiday.
- 25:02Speaker 2: I would be thinking, yeah, I would be a little
- 25:05Speaker 2: bit disappointed if I didn't get some stuff in now,
- 25:07Speaker 2: and will say this, I am a big fan of
- 25:10Speaker 2: making it non traditional as far as the protein goes. Okay,
- 25:13Speaker 2: you can get rid of that dry turkey.
- 25:16Speaker 4: So what would you have like fried chicken?
- 25:17Speaker 2: Dam you gotta have a chicken.
- 25:19Speaker 1: You gotta has to be there.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Give me some ham, give me fried chicken, Give me
- 25:23Speaker 2: a steak. One Thanksgiving, me and my son ate lobster.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Well yeah, because we were like, who cares, I don't know,
- 25:30Speaker 2: I don't care. The pilgrim should have lobster. Yeah, they
- 25:32Speaker 2: were on the ocean.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Fancy Thanksgiving.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was just, you know, we did like
- 25:37Speaker 2: a small little thing right for the whole family.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Yeah, they have guests coming over, Like, who are expecting
- 25:44Speaker 5: Thanksgiving food?
- 25:45Speaker 4: Traditional food?
- 25:46Speaker 5: You're not going to try to add lobster or add
- 25:48Speaker 5: these things in to make it non traditional.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Are you going to be mad if you show up
- 25:51Speaker 2: at a Thanksgiving and there's no turkey?
- 25:53Speaker 5: I mean, turkey's different. I'd just be like whatever. I'm
- 25:56Speaker 5: not that high maintenance. But if there was no stuffing,
- 25:59Speaker 5: I would.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, no mac and cheese. Okay, let's put it
- 26:04Speaker 2: this way. Let's let's pick one side, one side, two sides,
- 26:08Speaker 2: actually two sides that have to go.
- 26:10Speaker 5: See, I could get rid of cranberries and mashed potatoes.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Okay, cranberries I can easily get rid of. See the hype.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I don't get it whatever by cranberries. I would absolutely
- 26:22Speaker 2: not want to get rid of mashed potatoes.
- 26:23Speaker 6: Okay, I'm say cranberries, and I know everybody's going hate
- 26:29Speaker 6: but green bean casts.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I'll eat the onions a little bit and you can't
- 26:35Speaker 1: have it.
- 26:36Speaker 2: It's got to go. I gotta have that. I gotta
- 26:38Speaker 2: have that. I'm trying to think of one other now, stuffing.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I want everything else I like now sometimes you know
- 26:43Speaker 2: what I could get rid of? Corn? Yeah, just get
- 26:46Speaker 2: rid of the corn.
- 26:48Speaker 4: During the years.
- 26:49Speaker 2: It's Mexican street corn. Get rid of it.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I don't want just basic corn because all I do
- 26:55Speaker 2: is stuff it in my mashed potatoes and just get
- 26:57Speaker 2: rid of it. You know the role So okay, So
- 27:02Speaker 2: as far as non traditional, first of all, to me,
- 27:06Speaker 2: if she's the one doing the cooking and the planning.
- 27:08Speaker 2: You have no.
- 27:09Speaker 4: Say, right, I'm just wondering. What non traditional are you
- 27:11Speaker 4: talking about?
- 27:12Speaker 5: Like cheese sticks, hot wings, like fried pickles.
- 27:15Speaker 4: What sides are you talking about?
- 27:16Speaker 7: Sir?
- 27:16Speaker 2: That sounds great. I would add, Yeah, if I had
- 27:19Speaker 2: to swap out some sides, I could easily get rid
- 27:21Speaker 2: of corn. I want to keep the mashed potatoes. Oh,
- 27:24Speaker 2: I would get rid of corn for fried pickles.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Oh I would too. Oh yeah, yes, but not everything, No.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Not everything, But I mean the one thing that I
- 27:33Speaker 2: would never get rid of his stuffing and green being
- 27:35Speaker 2: cast rou And I want greens too, I want collar greens.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Yes, gotta greens.
- 27:40Speaker 5: He can add the non traditional sides and whatever he
- 27:43Speaker 5: wants while we have everything else.
- 27:44Speaker 4: What's the problem.
- 27:45Speaker 2: That's a good scenario. You know what he does. If
- 27:48Speaker 2: he wants to add something, he makes it. Yeah, there
- 27:51Speaker 2: you go. I'm not the judge, though, so Candicelopez.
- 27:54Speaker 5: The verdict is in, Yeah, this guy's guilty of being
- 27:57Speaker 5: a preheat peter.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Oh the freeweat.
- 28:01Speaker 5: The oven because you could cook all the non traditional stuff. Okay,
- 28:04Speaker 5: you realize Thanksgiving is less than a week away.
- 28:06Speaker 4: We're not changing this.
- 28:08Speaker 5: You know, when everyone's expecting to get what they get
- 28:10Speaker 5: Thanksgiving food.
- 28:11Speaker 2: You get what you get. You don't throw a fit.
- 28:14Speaker 2: It's in right now and he is a what.
- 28:16Speaker 4: He's a preheat Peter Preheat.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Peter co is a jerk mix one O two point nine.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Good morning. It's Bailly the Kid Candice Lopaz producer who
- 28:25Speaker 2: is here. And you know, it's that time of the
- 28:27Speaker 2: year where it just feels good to give back and
- 28:30Speaker 2: and something about things. Right now, it just feels like
- 28:33Speaker 2: there's there's a lot of people struggling.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Yeah, everybody's going through something.
- 28:37Speaker 2: You know, people are struggling to pay the bills. Prices
- 28:40Speaker 2: around us are just all going up, but our salaries aren't.
- 28:43Speaker 2: The cost of living is going up, but the money's not.
- 28:46Speaker 2: So it feels good this time of the year to
- 28:48Speaker 2: do what we can to help others. And that's why
- 28:50Speaker 2: we're doing the one thousand dollars Holiday Hookup with Amy
- 28:53Speaker 2: Witherorwright and one eight hundred truck Wreck and Amy's on
- 28:56Speaker 2: the phone because we want to give away more money.
- 28:58Speaker 2: And this is something that you've done for a long time,
- 29:00Speaker 2: and I've always been a big fan of what you do.
- 29:02Speaker 2: And how you get back to the community and change
- 29:05Speaker 2: so many people's lives.
- 29:07Speaker 10: Well, it's fun stuff. We've been doing this with one
- 29:10Speaker 10: eight hundred truck wreck for years and years, and you know,
- 29:12Speaker 10: there's nothing better. I mean, it's pretty great when you
- 29:15Speaker 10: win a lawsuit for a client, but there's something even
- 29:19Speaker 10: better about reaching into the community where our clients come
- 29:22Speaker 10: from and just giving them a little joy and a
- 29:25Speaker 10: little lift up when times are tough. And I understand,
- 29:28Speaker 10: we have a wonderful lady, Stephanie to talk to you
- 29:30Speaker 10: today who is overwhelmingly dramatically impacted by this governmental shutdown.
- 29:37Speaker 10: So let's see we can do some good.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Billy, Yeah, let's do it, because people don't realize even
- 29:41Speaker 2: if the government has reopened, the shutdown is still affecting people.
- 29:44Speaker 2: It really is. So Stephanie, good morning.
- 29:47Speaker 7: How are you good morning? Finding yourself?
- 29:49Speaker 2: I'm good. This is Billy the kid, and say hi
- 29:51Speaker 2: to Amy with her.
- 29:52Speaker 10: Right Hi, Hey, hey, hey, Stephanie. We're excited to talk
- 29:56Speaker 10: to you today because you have your hands fold your
- 29:59Speaker 10: entire face. Family sounds like it's being affected by the
- 30:03Speaker 10: government shutdown because of all your jobs or government jobs.
- 30:07Speaker 7: Yes, actually, my sister and my brother in law. I'm
- 30:11Speaker 7: a teacher, so it hasn't really affected me, but my
- 30:15Speaker 7: sister and my brother in law are both nurses at
- 30:20Speaker 7: the VA. We actually thought that, you know, we had
- 30:24Speaker 7: been talking to them and they're like, you know, two
- 30:26Speaker 7: weeks was the max.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Yeah, because I mean, so, let's face it, a lot
- 30:30Speaker 2: of people live in check to check and now trying
- 30:33Speaker 2: to catch up, and some of these checks still haven't
- 30:35Speaker 2: come even if the government is reopened.
- 30:37Speaker 10: And then I understand, you've got a cousin that works
- 30:40Speaker 10: for the I R S. You've got a need, you
- 30:42Speaker 10: working for TSA of course getting praed. And then what
- 30:48Speaker 10: you're a teacher, so we're what gride do you teach?
- 30:52Speaker 7: I teach kinder?
- 30:53Speaker 3: Oh?
- 30:53Speaker 7: Very sweet, actually really quiet right now.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Oh you're a class right now.
- 31:01Speaker 10: Well, let's get you hooked up and then and then
- 31:04Speaker 10: back to taking care of all those babies, Billy. Don't
- 31:07Speaker 10: you think we've got to hiccup Stephanie and her you know,
- 31:09Speaker 10: her extended family.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I mean, I think so, first of all, we love
- 31:12Speaker 2: teachers and everything that you do, and you've been through
- 31:14Speaker 2: a lot, so I think Amy, I think it's right.
- 31:16Speaker 2: I think it's right.
- 31:17Speaker 10: I do too.
- 31:18Speaker 7: Thank you having me so much.
- 31:19Speaker 10: Our typical holiday hookup is one thousand dollars, but you've
- 31:23Speaker 10: got your sister, her husband, a cousin, a niece, and
- 31:26Speaker 10: a nephew a thousand dollars. They're going to go far enough.
- 31:29Speaker 10: So we're going to have to do two thousand dollars
- 31:31Speaker 10: from one eight hundred truck wreck today.
- 31:33Speaker 7: Oh my god, thank you so much.
- 31:34Speaker 2: There you go.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Yes, I love it.
- 31:37Speaker 7: Thank you. That's it's going to make our holidays. They're
- 31:41Speaker 7: actually coming to Arlington to have Thanksgiving with me, so
- 31:45Speaker 7: that'll be so awesome.
- 31:47Speaker 10: Well, I love it. I love it. I'm glad that
- 31:49Speaker 10: we can help you out. That's what it's all about.
- 31:51Speaker 10: And you give them all the big hugs and Billy,
- 31:54Speaker 10: thank you so much for inviting me in one eight
- 31:56Speaker 10: hundred truck wreck. You can do it.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Listen, Thank you Amy everything that you do. And this
- 32:00Speaker 2: has been incredible and it's so much fun. And you know,
- 32:03Speaker 2: from Megan to now Stephanie, I'm so glad that Stephanie,
- 32:06Speaker 2: you were able to get hooked up with a huge
- 32:08Speaker 2: two thousand dollars, which is awesome from wanting how to
- 32:10Speaker 2: truck wreck and thank you and have a great holiday. Stephanie.
- 32:13Speaker 7: Okay, thank you so much. You guys do the same.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Oh that's a hot take. Let us know what you think.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Here's today's hot Tache mix one or two point nine.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I'm bill at a kid, Candice Lompez, producer, Who are
- 32:25Speaker 2: you ready for the hot take of the day? And
- 32:28Speaker 2: it's a wild one because who sent me this? And
- 32:31Speaker 2: I thought to myself, who is this woman? I want
- 32:33Speaker 2: to get this woman on the show because she says
- 32:35Speaker 2: the most unhinged thing when it comes to what she
- 32:39Speaker 2: considers cheating and we go over things. Is this cheating
- 32:42Speaker 2: or no? Is this micro cheating?
- 32:44Speaker 7: Right?
- 32:44Speaker 2: This is insane? Okay are you ready?
- 32:47Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 32:48Speaker 9: Is just a few of my insane hot takes and
- 32:50Speaker 9: warning you might be offended. Liking somebody's Instagram story is cheating,
- 32:55Speaker 9: now let me get into it. Of course, if you're
- 32:57Speaker 9: liking an achievement of theirs, maybe that's different. But liking
- 33:01Speaker 9: a selfie when you're in a relationship is cheating one
- 33:04Speaker 9: hundred percent because what's the motive behind that? What is
- 33:06Speaker 9: the motive behind liking somebody's story when you and the
- 33:10Speaker 9: other person are the only ones that know about it?
- 33:12Speaker 4: That sucks to me. I'm sorry.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Well hold on now, wait a minute. Now, Okay, because
- 33:16Speaker 2: when when poof first told me about this, I was like, wait, okay,
- 33:19Speaker 2: this is ridiculous. If you like somebody's post, yeah, what's
- 33:22Speaker 2: the point? Like, that's not cheating obviously, But what she
- 33:25Speaker 2: just said is a little bit different. Yeah, what she
- 33:27Speaker 2: just said is liking somebody's story if it's a selfie,
- 33:32Speaker 2: is cheating because only you and that person know. So
- 33:36Speaker 2: what's the point if you're in a relationship and that
- 33:39Speaker 2: that brings up to me a different angle.
- 33:41Speaker 5: Well, I think this is a new category that we
- 33:44Speaker 5: haven't really talked about before.
- 33:46Speaker 4: The digital micro cheat. Oh.
- 33:48Speaker 5: I mean, we talked about digital cheating and micro cheating,
- 33:50Speaker 5: but this is like both of those together. But it's
- 33:53Speaker 5: also just like hey.
- 33:54Speaker 4: Cool, I see you.
- 33:55Speaker 2: It depends on what kind of picture it is, yes, now,
- 33:58Speaker 2: if it's just a regular selfie, and it also depends
- 34:00Speaker 2: on who it is. If I'm in a relationship, I'm not.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I'm not liking a bunch of girls pictures on their
- 34:07Speaker 2: stories or their post I'm not doing it. Yes, disrespectful
- 34:11Speaker 2: to me, I think, or to my partner. I think
- 34:14Speaker 2: it's disrespectful to the relationship and it's just weird and
- 34:18Speaker 2: on somebody's story. I wouldn't like a selfie unless it's
- 34:21Speaker 2: somebody I really truly know. And I follow people that
- 34:24Speaker 2: are friends, but I don't know them know them.
- 34:26Speaker 4: Ye're right.
- 34:27Speaker 2: If I'm in a relationship, what's the point of liking
- 34:29Speaker 2: some girls like getting ready to go out with the
- 34:31Speaker 2: girls post?
- 34:32Speaker 4: Right, Well, that's the point of that.
- 34:33Speaker 6: Is your your friend, just like one of your homegirls,
- 34:36Speaker 6: all right, hit them with the fire emoji.
- 34:42Speaker 2: If you're in a relationship, you hit the fire emoji
- 34:45Speaker 2: on anybody else but your girlfriend.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, if she's just my friend.
- 34:52Speaker 6: Eh, And I just be like, I go ahead, girl,
- 34:55Speaker 6: you know, thumbs up, thumbs up.
- 35:00Speaker 2: With the thumbs up, you could choose the emoji. It's
- 35:02Speaker 2: I know you want to be just the first emojis
- 35:04Speaker 2: to pop up.
- 35:05Speaker 1: I just figured at least I'm not doing the hard
- 35:07Speaker 1: as the fire.
- 35:08Speaker 2: I just feel fires almost worse.
- 35:10Speaker 1: No, wow, I'm just supporting you different.
- 35:12Speaker 5: For different people, and it's hard to know like your
- 35:14Speaker 5: relationship and their personality and how you guys like interact.
- 35:18Speaker 4: You know what I mean.
- 35:18Speaker 2: If I'm in a relationship and my girlfriend is hitting guys,
- 35:21Speaker 2: random guys selfies with fire emojis?
- 35:25Speaker 1: Gross?
- 35:27Speaker 4: Is there a caption we're missing? Why would you like
- 35:29Speaker 4: a selfie?
- 35:30Speaker 2: We're not bringing in captions now, cannus. Let me ask
- 35:32Speaker 2: you this. Yeah, and because I already know the answer.
- 35:35Speaker 2: You're a married woman, faithful, loyal, respected. You would never
- 35:43Speaker 2: scrolling through Instagram see even a friend's selfie. You might
- 35:47Speaker 2: like it, but I know for a fact you would
- 35:51Speaker 2: never hit the fire emotion. Oh no, if it's not Eric,
- 35:53Speaker 2: your husband, you're not hitting fire.
- 35:55Speaker 4: No, absolutely not.
- 35:56Speaker 6: Fires are harmless. Though, y'all are overreacted.
- 36:00Speaker 4: What's the motivation on that?
- 36:02Speaker 6: Okay, okay, now you're married, heavily married or whatever, okay
- 36:06Speaker 6: or whatever.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Look, I'm a little chubby. What if I lost? What
- 36:11Speaker 1: if I lost to do it?
- 36:12Speaker 6: What if I lost like fifty pounds and I posed
- 36:14Speaker 6: at the gym with some weights.
- 36:16Speaker 4: I have a friend who did just that.
- 36:18Speaker 2: You wouldn't hit me with a yeah, yeah, class.
- 36:26Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't have my shirt off or nothing like that.
- 36:27Speaker 6: But I'm just if I'm just in the gym and
- 36:30Speaker 6: I'm proud of like, hey, just lost forty six clowns
- 36:33Speaker 6: clapp Well yeah, double hands up.
- 36:37Speaker 1: I'm not yours?
- 36:39Speaker 4: Is that what that is?
- 36:40Speaker 2: Like?
- 36:40Speaker 4: Praise alone?
- 36:41Speaker 2: I know i'd even hit you with the dancing guy emoji, like, hey,
- 36:45Speaker 2: my man's getting it.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you would that.
- 36:49Speaker 2: I'm never hitting anybody but the girl I'm interested in
- 36:53Speaker 2: or my partner with a fire emoji. You're not throwing
- 36:57Speaker 2: out fire motive. Fire emoji is cheating. I don't believe
- 37:01Speaker 2: that that's a digital cheat, a digital flirt, at least
- 37:03Speaker 2: a digital flirt.
- 37:04Speaker 1: How the hard eyes look the hard oes means I
- 37:07Speaker 1: have eyes.
- 37:07Speaker 2: For You're okay. You could keep arguing about it, But
- 37:11Speaker 2: would you be okay with your girlfriend hitting a random
- 37:14Speaker 2: guy with the fire emoji? I have some questions, just
- 37:19Speaker 2: want against your whole point.
- 37:20Speaker 6: Okay, but listen, what if what if she knew my
- 37:23Speaker 6: homegirl before you know what I'm saying. When we got
- 37:25Speaker 6: through your homegirl, the girl who I'm hitting the fire emoji?
- 37:29Speaker 2: What if she they know each other? It's okay?
- 37:31Speaker 6: Yeah, like you know, she's even worse. She might not
- 37:34Speaker 6: feel threatened, you know, because she knows.
- 37:36Speaker 2: She doesn't know you're doing it, right, Because that's the
- 37:39Speaker 2: whole point of this. So what's your motivation.
- 37:42Speaker 6: It's not like I'm telling her you're right, you're not. Yeah, okay,
- 37:45Speaker 6: but it's not cheating. I'm not cheating like when I'm
- 37:48Speaker 6: with somebody, I'm with somebody disrespectful.
- 37:51Speaker 2: That's what.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Nothing else.
- 37:52Speaker 2: If it's not cheating, then that's fine. It's just disrespectful
- 37:55Speaker 2: to me. Because when I'm in a relationship, I try
- 37:59Speaker 2: to do this. I operate from the standpoint of the
- 38:02Speaker 2: girl I'm with. Well, I act like she's around no
- 38:05Speaker 2: matter what, would she be okay with me doing this right?
- 38:08Speaker 2: And if the answer is no, then I shouldn't be
- 38:10Speaker 2: doing it right. Okay, Okay, So let me ask you this.
- 38:15Speaker 10: I knew.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Let me ask you this. You're scrolling through Instagram, right,
- 38:18Speaker 2: and you're like, okay, cool, and you're going through stories
- 38:21Speaker 2: and your girlfriend's over your shoulder, right, and a girl
- 38:24Speaker 2: that you know pops up on the story and she's
- 38:26Speaker 2: looking at what you're doing.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Ye, right?
- 38:28Speaker 2: Are you hitting that fire emotion?
- 38:29Speaker 1: Oh I'm still scrolling exactly.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 38:39Speaker 4: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Bill at a kid Candice Slow pans producer poop. All right,
- 38:43Speaker 2: dirty little secrets. If you have one eight, three, three
- 38:46Speaker 2: seven eight seven one o two nine. It could be
- 38:48Speaker 2: a big secret, little secret, whatever the case may be.
- 38:50Speaker 2: It's a no judgment zone. Call us up anytime you want.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Even if we're not doing dirty little secret, you can
- 38:55Speaker 2: still call u up and see I got one and
- 38:57Speaker 2: you do. How are you?
- 38:58Speaker 4: I'm okay, how are you?
- 38:59Speaker 2: That doesn't sound good just the way you said I'm okay.
- 39:02Speaker 2: I'm all right. I can tell something's going on.
- 39:04Speaker 10: Yeah, that's so.
- 39:06Speaker 11: I hope you guys can like help me out here.
- 39:08Speaker 11: I mean, I let me start off by saying I
- 39:11Speaker 11: love my husband. He is such a great man. He's
- 39:13Speaker 11: a great father, hard worker, he is a great person overall.
- 39:18Speaker 11: But but he he has just been like letting himself go.
- 39:25Speaker 11: And I don't think he's depressed. So I'm just like,
- 39:28Speaker 11: what is happening, Like I.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Don't get it, let himself go? What do you mean
- 39:32Speaker 2: letting himself go?
- 39:33Speaker 11: Okay, Well, like he's always been like really clean, and
- 39:37Speaker 11: I don't know, I feel like lately he barely showers.
- 39:40Speaker 10: I don't O been like brushing this mate, and like, god,
- 39:45Speaker 10: I don't know the lot.
- 39:47Speaker 11: No, Like he's just like wearing basketball shorts every day
- 39:52Speaker 11: and like just not getting dressed. He isn't shaving, and
- 39:57Speaker 11: I yes he does.
- 40:00Speaker 2: So Now we've had calls like this before where it's
- 40:03Speaker 2: a guy saying something similar about you know, their their
- 40:06Speaker 2: wife and I'll be honest. So that particular call, that
- 40:09Speaker 2: secret was their weight and so. And I'm not saying
- 40:13Speaker 2: it should matter, which you know, whatever's going on is
- 40:15Speaker 2: going on, but it's not necessarily that. It's not a
- 40:18Speaker 2: weight or a thing. It's more high. It sounds like hygiene.
- 40:21Speaker 10: Wow.
- 40:22Speaker 11: I mean he's gained a couple pounds. I mean not
- 40:25Speaker 11: like a lot, but he he has.
- 40:27Speaker 10: Gained like a little bit.
- 40:28Speaker 11: I mean he used to work out. He's not really anymore.
- 40:31Speaker 11: But it's yeah, it's more like he's just not keeping
- 40:34Speaker 11: up with himself.
- 40:35Speaker 2: I guess weird. And you sure he's not because the
- 40:38Speaker 2: first thing I thought of when you were saying this,
- 40:40Speaker 2: but you said he's not depressed. First of all, you
- 40:41Speaker 2: don't always know if somebody's depressed. Even if they are depressed.
- 40:45Speaker 11: I mean he's like super sensitive like about it. I
- 40:48Speaker 11: don't know, like with the brushing the teeth thing. We
- 40:50Speaker 11: went to bed last night and I was like, oh,
- 40:52Speaker 11: you didn't brush your teeth again, and he was like,
- 40:55Speaker 11: come on, like you know, he kind of like started,
- 40:57Speaker 11: I don't know. He was like, you're rasing on me.
- 40:59Speaker 2: So you all really mentioned it or talked about it,
- 41:02Speaker 2: You're just kind of avoiding it.
- 41:03Speaker 11: I mean, I've tried a little bit, but I feel
- 41:07Speaker 11: like when I start to go down that road, it's
- 41:10Speaker 11: like immediately shut down, like I don't know, boxers and days.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Something else is gone, something going on.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Do you guys talk about other things and talk about
- 41:22Speaker 2: life where like how's the relationship with YouTube?
- 41:25Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 41:26Speaker 11: Yeah, of course, like we talk about everything. You know,
- 41:29Speaker 11: we are very for the most part, great at communicating.
- 41:31Speaker 2: So I'll be honest, it's a guy. Guys are so
- 41:34Speaker 2: weird about mental health issues. And I'm not saying that's
- 41:37Speaker 2: what he's going through. I don't know, but we will
- 41:41Speaker 2: pretend to put on this front that everything's okay in
- 41:44Speaker 2: so many different ways because well, for a number of
- 41:48Speaker 2: different reasons, either we don't want to worry people, We
- 41:50Speaker 2: don't feel like it's manly to talk about our mental health. Yeah,
- 41:54Speaker 2: gender roles. We just feel like there's a lot of
- 41:56Speaker 2: pressure on guys. Not saying that women have it easier,
- 41:58Speaker 2: but men have differferent set of issues and things that
- 42:02Speaker 2: we should live up to and whatnot. So maybe it's
- 42:05Speaker 2: just something that's going on that he hasn't talked about,
- 42:07Speaker 2: even if he is open and in communicating that, you
- 42:11Speaker 2: need to sit down with him and just make sure
- 42:13Speaker 2: everything's okay.
- 42:14Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 42:15Speaker 2: I don't know how to bring it up, and it's
- 42:16Speaker 2: really hard and I'm no expert, but you know, maybe
- 42:20Speaker 2: you don't focus on his hygiene and you just sit
- 42:22Speaker 2: down and just focus on Hey, you've been acting different.
- 42:25Speaker 2: I just want to make sure you're good.
- 42:26Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 42:27Speaker 11: Yeah, maybe I just go at it like generically.
- 42:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Unfortunately this also affects you. I mean, someone's there's nothing
- 42:34Speaker 2: worse than being with or around somebody with bad hygiene.
- 42:37Speaker 2: I've never been with somebody like that, but we've had
- 42:39Speaker 2: co workers, so we have had some serious smell issues.
- 42:44Speaker 10: Oh my god.
- 42:44Speaker 2: They no longer work here, but there was one so
- 42:46Speaker 2: bad that you could literally the cantis is laughing, but
- 42:49Speaker 2: you could smell for a good hour after they left.
- 42:52Speaker 2: It lingered.
- 42:53Speaker 11: Oh my gosh.
- 42:54Speaker 2: And HR had it literally get involved and pull this
- 42:57Speaker 2: guy aside and be like, hey, bro, yeah, wash your ass.
- 43:02Speaker 11: Wow, that's crazy. Like, how do you not smell yourself?
- 43:06Speaker 11: I can like definitely smell myself, and I'm like, okay.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Yeah no, but this guy's and this guy had a
- 43:12Speaker 2: beautiful wife, and I'm like, she must get how you
- 43:15Speaker 2: get used to smells? Yeah, I think she just got
- 43:17Speaker 2: used to the smell. Yeah, maybe I stink right now.
- 43:20Speaker 2: I don't even know. Well, good luck, do you know?
- 43:24Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 43:25Speaker 2: I'm sniffing right now, pe come sniff me. Well, good
- 43:30Speaker 2: luck and uh and let us know what happens. But
- 43:33Speaker 2: I hope nothing but the best for you and your husband.
- 43:35Speaker 2: It sounds like you guys have a great relationship, So
- 43:37Speaker 2: I'm sure you'll get through this hiccup.
- 43:39Speaker 10: Yeah, I hope.
- 43:40Speaker 7: So fine, hold on And.
- 43:41Speaker 2: If you ever get a comment about Dirty Little Secret
- 43:43Speaker 2: eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine.
- 43:44Speaker 2: But I feel like when people let their hygiene go, yeah,
- 43:47Speaker 2: something's happening with their mental health.
- 43:48Speaker 4: Yeah, nobody wants that.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Right, especially nowadays in the morning.
