Speaker 3: Let's talk a little high school football. Herbert Hoover will
• 2:06
Speaker 3: make the long trip to We're while Hurricane is going
• 2:09
Speaker 3: to entertain Martinsburg and what many are calling him possibly
• 2:12
Speaker 3: the game of the year. I wanted to bring in
• 2:13
Speaker 3: Jeff Jenkins not to talk about coverage of that to
• 2:16
Speaker 3: Hoover game at Weir tonight. I went to college with
• 2:19
Speaker 3: a guy from We're High School, Jeff and and maybe
• 2:23
Speaker 3: it's the same guy. And Carl Upright was his name,
• 2:26
Speaker 3: and Carl's he was on the Marshall's radio station. To me,
• 2:29
Speaker 3: he loved to say we're high. That's what That's the
• 2:32
Speaker 3: way he said it. We're high, so we're high. Somebody
• 2:35
Speaker 3: said it with that with that emplode, We're high.
• 2:37
Speaker 5: Red Riders struggling this year at one in eight, but
• 2:41
Speaker 5: they've got it. They've got a great tradition of football.
• 2:45
Speaker 5: Particularly the Jeter name is a big name in Weir
• 2:48
Speaker 5: for years. Of course, that's where Quincy Wilson is from
• 2:51
Speaker 5: is We're high and but they're a little bit struggling
• 2:53
Speaker 5: there and Herbert Hoover are going there tonight and have
• 2:57
Speaker 5: an opportunity to be undefeated on the season and ranked
• 3:00
  Speaker 5: number four.
• 3:02
Speaker 3: Uh what a season is?
• 3:03
  Speaker 6: Yeah?
• 3:03
Speaker 3: What a season has been?
• 3:04
  Speaker 4: Uh?
• 3:05
Speaker 5: And and you know Dane Hatfield great. It's not just
• 3:08
Speaker 5: Dane Hatfield, but it's his surrounding crew. I mean, it
• 3:11
Speaker 5: takes a team, but he's obviously the leader. And I
• 3:14
Speaker 5: know that Joey feels he wants nothing more than tonight
• 3:17
Speaker 5: to finish this thing out right. Ten and zero and
• 3:20
Speaker 5: then you're number four. Now, no, I'm not an expert
• 3:23
Speaker 5: on the points, and I'm sure the Hoover folks know,
• 3:26
Speaker 5: so we'll find that going into the broadcast tonight if
• 3:28
Speaker 5: they can move up or not, you know anywhere. But
• 3:31
Speaker 5: at four you're getting home games, you know, to again
• 3:34
Speaker 5: the trip A playoffs, and as many as you can
• 3:36
Speaker 5: play up there at Hoover, you know you want to.
• 3:40
Speaker 5: So it's been and I'll have an opportunity tonight. I
• 3:43
Speaker 5: haven't been on the broadcast, yes, or of course it's
• 3:44
Speaker 5: been Matt Murphy and Tom Bragg who've been doing the
• 3:48
Speaker 5: games and Tom's out tonight. So Matt said, can you
• 3:51
Speaker 5: ride with me in the front of the truck and
• 3:54
  Speaker 5: go to We're So that's yeah. So that's what we're
• 3:57
Speaker 5: doing tonight. And we're gonna leave here early afternoon and
• 4:00
Speaker 5: hope to get some fine dining and locally.
• 4:03
Speaker 3: Uh, gotta go Italian in that part of the state.
• 4:06
Speaker 3: As I'll say, have you scoped it out yet? I
• 4:07
Speaker 3: know Murphy has. I'm sure he has.
• 4:09
  Speaker 5: He's he's he's the driver of the tour guide, he's
• 4:12
Speaker 5: everything everything. Okay, So yeah, but we're looking forward to
• 4:15
Speaker 5: that tonight and uh too straight and this is not
• 4:19
Speaker 5: this is not insignificant. Two long road trips to end
• 4:22
Speaker 5: the season for Hoover. Right had to go to Hedgesville
• 4:25
Speaker 5: last week over in Berkeley County.
• 4:28
Speaker 3: And those guys aren't back yet, I don't think.
• 4:31
Speaker 5: And now they're going to the north, you know, up
• 4:33
Speaker 5: to Hancock County in the most northern part of the state.
• 4:36
Speaker 5: But that's a shorter trip actually than Berkeley County. It's
• 4:40
Speaker 5: a little shorter trip.
• 4:41
  Speaker 7: Uh.
• 4:42
Speaker 5: And so trying to finish it out tonight for Hoover
• 4:45
Speaker 5: undefeated season, which is uh, you know, that's what you
• 4:48
Speaker 5: strive for, and uh, you know, I think you hope
• 4:51
Speaker 5: to get through this game. It's a one and eight
• 4:54
Speaker 5: weird team. So it's a team you if you take
• 4:56
Speaker 5: care of business, you don't give the ball away, you know,
• 4:59
Speaker 5: all that, all that fundamental stuff. Then you need to
• 5:02
Speaker 5: get out of there without injury, hopefull, you know, hopefully,
• 5:05
Speaker 5: maybe you know, maybe you pull a couple of your
• 5:06
Speaker 5: guys and they can you know, they can, you know,
• 5:09
Speaker 5: they can be off the field and part of the
• 5:11
Speaker 5: second half. I mean, I don't want to you know,
• 5:13
Speaker 5: jinx this and put them you know, make it a
• 5:16
Speaker 5: game all the way through the game. But you know,
• 5:18
Speaker 5: that's what kind of hope to do. Avoid injury. You
• 5:19
Speaker 5: want to avoid injury here because you don't have an
• 5:21
  Speaker 5: off week.
• 5:22
Speaker 3: No, some teams turn right into it. Some teams take
• 5:24
Speaker 3: the off week of week eleven.
• 5:26
Speaker 5: Some teams do. But then other teams just go right
• 5:28
Speaker 5: into it. And that's what Hoover's going to do.
• 5:30
Speaker 3: All right. Coverage tonight begins apps.
• 5:31
Speaker 5: Yeah, so we'll begin right before just a couple of
• 5:34
Speaker 5: minutes before the broadcast, before the kickoff at seven o'clock.
• 5:37
Speaker 3: And that's so run ninety six to one k It
• 5:39
Speaker 3: is all right, and then before you know, Jeff, you'll
• 5:41
Speaker 3: be following the bouncing basketball that'll be coming up here
• 5:43
  Speaker 3: real soon.
• 5:44
Speaker 5: Yep, yep, we'll be doing high school basketball. Getting that
• 5:46
Speaker 5: schedule together. Now, we have game day on tomorrow. It's
• 5:49
Speaker 5: an early start because I'm Mountaineers kick at noon, so
• 5:53
Speaker 5: we'll be on at nine o'clock in the morning. I
• 5:55
Speaker 5: won't be onto about ten or so, but but about yeah,
• 5:58
Speaker 5: but you'll just be rolling back. The cover starts at
• 6:02
Speaker 5: nine in the morning and a rare noon game going
• 6:05
Speaker 5: to place at Cincinnati tomorrow, and so we'll go until
• 6:08
Speaker 5: six o'clock tomorrow evening.
• 6:09
Speaker 3: All right, Jeff, we'll be listening tonight on ninety six
• 6:11
Speaker 3: one KWS. I get out of here. Time for you
• 6:14
Speaker 3: to leave to go out there, Chris. You are to
• 6:16
Speaker 3: be a little bit closer to home tonight because it's
• 6:18
Speaker 3: going to be a big one in the land of
• 6:19
  Speaker 3: the Redskins.
• 6:20
Speaker 8: Yeah. In fact, I talked to Donnie Maye yesterday and
• 6:22
Speaker 8: he sort of characterized this one to his team. They've
• 6:24
Speaker 8: been playing football at Hurricane for one hundred years. This
• 6:27
Speaker 8: is the biggest game, the biggest game, and there is
• 6:29
Speaker 8: in the history of the school, The place is expected
• 6:32
Speaker 8: to be packed out. They anticipate a sellout crowd or
• 6:37
Speaker 8: a standing room only crowd, And if you're going, you
• 6:40
Speaker 8: probably want to get there a little early so you'll
• 6:42
Speaker 8: have time to get in there and find yourself a seat.
• 6:44
Speaker 8: The stakes could not be higher for Hurricane. But at
• 6:47
Speaker 8: the same time, Hurricane has one of the greatest opportunities
• 6:51
Speaker 8: they've ever had here. They're in a position to beat
• 6:55
Speaker 8: the number one team in the state, and with that
• 6:57
Speaker 8: would insulate themselves potentially in the season from having to
• 7:01
Speaker 8: face Martinsburg or Huntington or Spring Mills, probably three of
• 7:06
Speaker 8: the best teams in the state. They would not have
• 7:09
Speaker 8: to face two of those, and one of them they
• 7:11
Speaker 8: might they would have to see them in the state championship.
• 7:14
Speaker 8: So you get a much easier path to the state
• 7:18
Speaker 8: title game if you can win this game tonight. The
• 7:21
Speaker 8: only problem is you're playing against the vaunted Martinsburg Bulldogs,
• 7:24
Speaker 8: and I think for Hurricane they have got to overcome
• 7:26
Speaker 8: that mindset. I mean, people lose to Martinsburg because they
• 7:31
Speaker 8: keep thinking about the fact we're playing Martinsburg.
• 7:33
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what you've got to overcome. Martinsburg will not quit.
• 7:36
  Speaker 3: They will.
• 7:37
Speaker 8: They will continue to come at you relentlessly and they
• 7:40
Speaker 8: don't panic, and but if you make mistakes, they make
• 7:44
Speaker 8: you pay for them. You've got to play mistake free,
• 7:46
Speaker 8: flawless football, and you've got to play it for all
• 7:50
Speaker 8: four quarters, start to finish. That's that's what Hurricane has
• 7:52
Speaker 8: to do tonight. I've seen so many teams that will
• 7:55
Speaker 8: you know, Martinsburg will score early and then they'll get
• 7:58
Speaker 8: their dabber down and then Martinsburg was just like blood
• 8:00
Speaker 8: in the water and they'll eat them up. Other teams
• 8:02
Speaker 8: I have seen that have built a lead on Martinsburg
• 8:05
Speaker 8: tried to coast on it. And even Donnie Mays said
• 8:07
Speaker 8: when he was at South Charleston one time, they went
• 8:10
Speaker 8: at a halftime leading Martinsburg twenty eight to nothing. By
• 8:13
Speaker 8: the end of the third quarter it was twenty eight apiece.
• 8:15
Speaker 8: Now South Charleston did wind up winning that one, thirty
• 8:18
Speaker 8: eight to twenty eight, but he pointed that out to
• 8:20
Speaker 8: his team yesterdays, and you know, we can't sit around
• 8:24
Speaker 8: and wait because they're not gonna quit. They're gonna keep
• 8:26
Speaker 8: coming at you. So it should be a lot of
• 8:28
Speaker 8: fun tonight to look forward to it It's always fun
• 8:30
Speaker 8: to have that kind of atmosphere where you've got a
• 8:32
Speaker 8: huge crowd, a lot on the line, last game of
• 8:35
Speaker 8: the regular season, Senior Night for those kids at Hurricane.
• 8:37
Speaker 8: They're wrapping up the one hundredth season exactly, and wrapping
• 8:40
Speaker 8: up the one hundredth regular season, so should be a
• 8:42
Speaker 8: lot of fun. By the way, the kickoff has been
• 8:45
Speaker 8: moved to seven o'clock tonight, so our pregame show will
• 8:48
Speaker 8: begin at six thirty. We'll dump out of Sports nine
• 8:50
Speaker 8: a half hour early and bring you the pregame show,
• 8:53
Speaker 8: and then we'll have the kickoff at seven o'clock from
• 8:56
Speaker 8: Redskins Stadium. Looking forward to it, and then afterward Fred
• 8:59
Speaker 8: and Dave have Metro News Game Night to analyze and
• 9:02
Speaker 8: bring all the scores well across the state, and they
• 9:04
Speaker 8: should have the playoff picture finalized.
• 9:06
Speaker 3: By the end of the night, right, And what do
• 9:07
Speaker 3: you got on Western and Outdoors tomorrow?
• 9:09
Speaker 8: On a couple of stories, one the youngest master angler
• 9:13
Speaker 8: in state history since they institute of the Master Angler program.
• 9:16
Speaker 8: We'll hear from that young man age fourteen from Putnam County.
• 9:19
Speaker 8: He'll join me and we have another big buck story
• 9:23
Speaker 8: passed along to you as well, So that'll that'll be
• 9:25
Speaker 8: on the show tomorrow.
• 9:26
Speaker 3: So then I failed to mention before you let you go, Chris,
• 9:29
Speaker 3: is that you just celebrated an anniversary here, is that right? Yes?
• 9:32
  Speaker 3: I did.
• 9:33
Speaker 8: This past week marked thirty four years that had been
• 9:36
Speaker 8: with this company in one capacity or another.
• 9:40
Speaker 3: But are you still on the probationary period?
• 9:42
Speaker 8: Actually, I think that was finally lifted.
• 9:44
Speaker 3: Okay, when you went to the Hall of Fame. I
• 9:46
Speaker 3: think that was when they lifted it. I think Steve
• 9:49
Speaker 3: Bishop across the hall at V one hundred forty four
• 9:51
Speaker 3: years earlier this week.
• 9:52
Speaker 8: He's been here forty four years now, he's not been here.
• 9:55
Speaker 8: He has been here, But at the time he started,
• 9:57
Speaker 8: our company did not own V one hundred.
• 9:59
Speaker 3: Okay. He he came with the company, He came with
• 10:02
Speaker 3: the state, he came with the body. Yeah.
• 10:03
Speaker 8: Now Anthony came with the building, he came with the station, right,
• 10:06
Speaker 8: So yeah, they were a different owner when he started.
• 10:08
Speaker 8: But yeah, that's that's a remarkable career as well.
• 10:11
Speaker 3: All right, Chris, appreciate it. We'll be listening night man.
• 10:13
  Speaker 7: Thanks.
• 10:13
Speaker 3: He about a good one, all right, Chris Lawrence again,
• 10:15
Speaker 3: and that our coverage will begin a night around six thirty,
• 10:17
Speaker 3: We'll jump out of a sports signed early to give
• 10:19
Speaker 3: you Hurricane and Martinsburg Tonight. In the Land of the Redskins,

• 11:01
  Speaker 9: How are you.
• 11:02
Speaker 3: I'm doing fine, Welcome to the show. Your away last week,
• 11:06
Speaker 3: but we got you. We we got your dog taken
• 11:08
Speaker 3: care of. You know we've talked about your dog last week.
• 11:10
Speaker 3: This week we got a new critter to try to
• 11:12
Speaker 3: get adopted, and as always, I've got the picture posted
• 11:15
Speaker 3: at Dave Allen Radio on Facebook and at Dave seventy
• 11:19
Speaker 3: on exe. Ortis is formally known as Twitter. Marshmallow is
• 11:22
Speaker 3: our dog. Tell us all about Marshmallow, Hannah.
• 11:25
Speaker 9: Okay, Well, Marshmallow. She is a sweet girl who is
• 11:31
Speaker 9: around two years old. Again, we go bout their gums
• 11:35
Speaker 9: and their teeth, so that could always be kind of
• 11:38
Speaker 9: a roundabout, but she is averaged at two years old.
• 11:42
Speaker 9: She's not six yet, but she will be before she
• 11:45
Speaker 9: goes home. And she is foster eligible, so if anybody
• 11:49
Speaker 9: wanted to foster her to adopt her, or if they
• 11:53
Speaker 9: just wanted to foster her to get her out of
• 11:54
Speaker 9: the shelter, they could do that and learn more about her.
• 11:57
Speaker 9: It also helps us learn more about them as well well,
• 12:00
Speaker 9: because you may learn things that we do not know,
• 12:02
Speaker 9: because inside of a home is a lot less stressful
• 12:05
Speaker 9: than inside of a shelter, so they're going to open
• 12:07
Speaker 9: up a lot more inside of your home versus with us.
• 12:12
Speaker 9: She is kid friendly from what we've noticed. She's a very,
• 12:15
Speaker 9: very social girl. She's social with everybody. She does love
• 12:21
Speaker 9: other dogs that she just prefers calmer dogs. She likes
• 12:25
Speaker 9: dogs who aren't going to probably be too hyperactive, but
• 12:29
Speaker 9: she's very very sweet and she is fully sponsored, so
• 12:32
Speaker 9: if anybody wanted to adopt her, or like I said,
• 12:35
Speaker 9: if you wanted to foster to adopt, you could definitely
• 12:37
Speaker 9: do that as well. But she is fully sponsored, so
• 12:40
Speaker 9: regardless of how you adopt, she will be fully covered
• 12:44
Speaker 9: for her adoption fee. Also, I will say she does
• 12:48
Speaker 9: fool in the leash a little bit, but that is
• 12:50
Speaker 9: to be expected with most of the shelter dogs that
• 12:53
Speaker 9: come in, as most of them have never even seen
• 12:56
Speaker 9: a leash, so just make sure you're very patient with her.
• 13:01
Speaker 9: She's pretty good on the leash, I will say, for
• 13:04
Speaker 9: the most part, but she does tug a little bit
• 13:05
Speaker 9: when she gets distracted, and she does com sences too.
• 13:08
Speaker 9: I will say that she is a very very smart girl.
• 13:13
Speaker 9: She knows how to com fences and jump on so
• 13:16
Speaker 9: somebody who has like a good fencing yard that is
• 13:20
Speaker 9: tall enough to where she can't jump it, or if
• 13:23
Speaker 9: you're outside with her while she's outside until she gets
• 13:26
Speaker 9: used to the routine at least because I don't think
• 13:29
Speaker 9: that she would do it forever. But I'm not entirely sure.
• 13:32
Speaker 9: But she is a very very sweet girl and she
• 13:34
Speaker 9: sits it around I think thirty eight thirty nine pounds,
• 13:37
Speaker 9: So she's a good, good, perfect sized family little dog.
• 13:40
  Speaker 9: I believe well.
• 13:41
Speaker 3: She is a beautiful, beautiful dog. And again, if you
• 13:43
Speaker 3: want to see Marshmallow's picture, it is posted as always
• 13:46
Speaker 3: on my social media in Dave Island Radio and at
• 13:48
Speaker 3: Dave seventy on X last week and I got a
• 13:51
Speaker 3: chance to talk about a little bit on the air
• 13:53
Speaker 3: in your absence. I know that you guys were kind
• 13:56
Speaker 3: of kind of covered up so to speak with some parvopops.
• 13:59
Speaker 3: Can you gives an update on that situation.
• 14:02
Speaker 9: Yeah, we still have a lot of tarvo puppies downstairs
• 14:07
Speaker 9: in our parvo ward, but I will say that we
• 14:11
Speaker 9: did have some yesterday that we're positive for parvo as well,
• 14:15
Speaker 9: so we've gotten more down there. So we are still
• 14:18
Speaker 9: just kind of tracking with getting treatment in them and
• 14:22
Speaker 9: making sure that they are doing good. They have been
• 14:24
Speaker 9: really really good going down there and just making sure
• 14:28
Speaker 9: that they're all doing okay before they leave overnight and
• 14:31
Speaker 9: if they are in critical condition. They make sure that
• 14:34
Speaker 9: they work their hardest and do their best to make
• 14:36
Speaker 9: sure that those are good before they even leave, or
• 14:38
Speaker 9: somebody will typically take them home if possible. But I
• 14:43
Speaker 9: will say that they are doing much better, I believe
• 14:46
Speaker 9: when I checked yesterday.
• 14:48
Speaker 3: Well, and that's good news. What else you got going
• 14:51
Speaker 3: on shelter, any big events coming up or anything that
• 14:53
Speaker 3: you need to plug this morning?
• 14:56
Speaker 9: So, yes, we actually have a lot of cats and kittens, dogs,
• 15:00
Speaker 9: I'm sure as you are aware, and I do believe
• 15:03
Speaker 9: that all adult dogs are twenty dollars to adopt right now.
• 15:08
Speaker 9: And then of course we have a lot of fully
• 15:11
Speaker 9: sponsored dogs at the moment as well, So even if
• 15:15
Speaker 9: we did not have an event, we still have a
• 15:18
Speaker 9: lot of animals that people have generously people or businesses
• 15:22
Speaker 9: have generously donated to cover their adoption fee. So if
• 15:26
Speaker 9: you want to come in, but maybe just at the
• 15:28
Speaker 9: moment you don't quite have the money to do a
• 15:31
Speaker 9: full adoption or something like that, but you still want
• 15:34
Speaker 9: to adopt, come on up. I'm sure we can pair
• 15:36
Speaker 9: somebody with you that would work for your lifestyle and
• 15:39
Speaker 9: we can figure something out, as most of them are fully.
• 15:43
Speaker 3: Sponsored, and of course, as always you're in need of stuff,
• 15:46
Speaker 3: So what do you need right now?
• 15:48
Speaker 9: Yes, of course we always need pretty much everything at
• 15:52
Speaker 9: all times, I'll say, because even when we do get
• 15:55
Speaker 9: a buttload OF's tough in, we still end up needing
• 15:58
Speaker 9: it a couple days later. So all the linens that
• 16:01
Speaker 9: you can bring in, I'm sure we will always appreciate those,
• 16:04
Speaker 9: because those go so fast. Blankets, towels, old sheets, old
• 16:09
Speaker 9: any kind of bedding stuff like that, we will definitely
• 16:11
Speaker 9: take it. A lot of people ask if we take
• 16:15
Speaker 9: like animal clothing, animal beds, stuff like that. We do
• 16:18
Speaker 9: take those. But of course we are always in need
• 16:20
Speaker 9: of food for the cats and kittens, the dogs, the puppies.
• 16:25
Speaker 9: I think we need linens for a lot of our
• 16:27
Speaker 9: Carva puppies downstairs, and then toys. Of course, cleaning supplause
• 16:33
Speaker 9: are always needed. We have a wish list on our
• 16:35
Speaker 9: website as well, adopt Charleston dot com, So if you
• 16:38
Speaker 9: do want to go online and check on that, then
• 16:42
Speaker 9: I believe it's under our donate now or our wishless
• 16:47
Speaker 9: section and it will have a lot of options for
• 16:50
Speaker 9: you to look through if you want to monetary donate
• 16:52
Speaker 9: or even physical donate.
• 16:53
Speaker 3: All right, I have a text that was sent to you.
• 16:55
Speaker 3: It says Hannah was Sawyer the loose bagel with the
• 16:58
Speaker 3: leash attached ever caught. I'm not familiar with this story.
• 17:03
Speaker 9: We had a dog yesterday that did get loose from
• 17:07
Speaker 9: one of our staff members. I'm not exactly sure how.
• 17:11
Speaker 9: I don't know how it went down, but I did
• 17:13
Speaker 9: hear that he did get loose.
• 17:14
  Speaker 10: I don't think that.
• 17:15
Speaker 9: We've caught him yet. They set a trap out as
• 17:17
Speaker 9: well as alerted a couple other people in the area,
• 17:20
Speaker 9: so we are still, I believe, as of right now,
• 17:24
Speaker 9: on the hunt for Sawyer.
• 17:26
Speaker 3: All right. We got to saw your watch going on
• 17:28
Speaker 3: right now, all right, and I appreciate it. We'll talk
• 17:30
Speaker 3: next week. Thanks a lot. Thank you and the gardner

Speaker 3: a bit to talk about the veterans' activities that they've
• 20:10
Speaker 3: got going on. I want to bring in Rob Vanatta
• 20:12
Speaker 3: now from Rivers to Ridges. Rob, Good morning, Welcome to
• 20:15
  Speaker 3: the show.
• 20:16
Speaker 10: Good morning, Good morning.
• 20:17
  Speaker 12: How are you.
• 20:18
Speaker 3: I'm doing fine? But what exactly is Rivers to Ridges.
• 20:23
Speaker 10: Rivers two Ridges is a local nonprofit. We are essentially well,
• 20:30
Speaker 10: we are actually a scenic byeway and on Route sixty
• 20:33
Speaker 10: two from Nitro to Point Pleasant, so we technically cover Canal,
• 20:37
Speaker 10: Putnam and Mason Counties a portion of each of those counties,
• 20:43
Speaker 10: and our focus is history, heritage and recreation along that
• 20:47
Speaker 10: scenic byeway. A lot of what we do is partner
• 20:50
Speaker 10: with other organizations in the area to promote events. We
• 20:55
Speaker 10: help with the smaller parks and byeway parks along the byway,
• 21:00
Speaker 10: like Hometown Park. We have a nature trail on top
• 21:02
Speaker 10: of Red House Hill as well that we're working on
• 21:05
Speaker 10: kind of revamping right now and working on an outdoor
• 21:08
Speaker 10: educational classroom for the local schools as well. So that's
• 21:12
  Speaker 10: a I'll say the.
• 21:13
  Speaker 3: Elevators River, it's a it's a great organization. And again
• 21:18
Speaker 3: I'm very familiar with it, you know, being somebody who
• 21:21
Speaker 3: lives in Putnam County, I'm very familiar with it. But
• 21:23
Speaker 3: you've got a big event going on that you wanted
• 21:25
Speaker 3: to talk about today.
• 21:27
Speaker 10: We do, yes, sir, This coming Saturday. We have partnered
• 21:30
Speaker 10: with the American Legion Post one eighty seven out Wingfield
• 21:36
Speaker 10: and something that the one of these seven posts does
• 21:38
Speaker 10: and all American Legions do. They have what's called First State.
• 21:43
Speaker 10: So there's Boys State and Girls State, and it is
• 21:46
Speaker 10: a program where they send local students to The Boys
• 21:50
Speaker 10: State is held at let's see, this year it's held
• 21:57
Speaker 10: at Jackson Mills and then the Girls has held at
• 22:02
Speaker 10: David and Alton's College this year. And what they do
• 22:05
Speaker 10: is they expose the students to write and privileges and
• 22:08
Speaker 10: duties and responsibilities of franchise citizens. And activities include mock
• 22:13
Speaker 10: legislative sessions, court hearings, details of law enforcement speakers from
• 22:19
Speaker 10: all around the area as well to just kind of
• 22:23
Speaker 10: expose kids to the process of uh, the American government.
• 22:29
Speaker 3: I mean that's a very worthwhile cause it certainly is.
• 22:32
Speaker 3: And the weather is tomorrow is going to be absolutely beautiful.
• 22:35
Speaker 3: We've had some rain, which we saw really need. I'm
• 22:37
Speaker 3: not complaining about the rain. We actually need a lot more.
• 22:40
Speaker 3: I was on the road a lot yesterday and man
• 22:42
Speaker 3: and wherever you go. I mean, the forest fires are
• 22:45
Speaker 3: horrible in the smoke. But tomorrow, other than that, the
• 22:49
Speaker 3: weather is going to be fantastic.
• 22:51
Speaker 10: Rom Oh, yeah, yes, we've got We've had online sign ups,
• 22:56
Speaker 10: but tomorrow we're actually gonna be doing a day of
• 22:58
Speaker 10: sign ups as well, the day of registration right there
• 23:00
Speaker 10: on site. We're hosting the race at the Windfield Locks
• 23:03
Speaker 10: and Dam's Nature Reserve. So we have a great partner
• 23:07
Speaker 10: with our board, Chris Grass. He used to be the
• 23:09
Speaker 10: lockmaster there and part of his mission when he was
• 23:12
Speaker 10: working there was developing that nature trail and preserve that
• 23:15
Speaker 10: goes around the property there. So this is a full
• 23:18
Speaker 10: five K that will go fully around the nature preserve
• 23:22
Speaker 10: and kind of give you a good outlook on what
• 23:24
Speaker 10: is offered over there as well. It's great for bird
• 23:27
Speaker 10: watching and things like that great fishing area over there too.
• 23:30
Speaker 10: Along the river. So it's a really neat option. Thirty
• 23:34
Speaker 10: dollars per adult and we're going we're doing ten dollars
• 23:37
Speaker 10: per kid. Anyone under sixteen ten dollars. Day of registration.
• 23:41
Speaker 10: We'll have tears available. We've got there wood custom magnets
• 23:45
Speaker 10: with the Legion logos for every race there, and we've
• 23:48
Speaker 10: got wood plaques for the top three men and top
• 23:50
Speaker 10: for women. So it's going to be a beautiful day.
• 23:53
Speaker 10: Jersey Mike's here in Tas Valley has sponsored lunch for
• 23:56
Speaker 10: us and our local sheets as always has been a
• 23:59
Speaker 10: great partner and providing our gatorads, waters and nutritional items
• 24:03
Speaker 10: for the racers as well.
• 24:05
Speaker 3: Talk about before we let you go, Rob, talk about
• 24:08
Speaker 3: what kind of a draw that Rivers to Ridges has
• 24:10
Speaker 3: been for this Regon, not just Puttnham County, but for
• 24:13
Speaker 3: this region. Talk about the tourism aspect of what kind
• 24:15
Speaker 3: of draw of this has been well, and.
• 24:18
Speaker 10: A lot of what we try to do is I
• 24:19
Speaker 10: mean Niger has their own CVB, Putnam County has the
• 24:21
Speaker 10: CVB instead is Mason County. But what we try to
• 24:24
Speaker 10: do is partner with those cvbs to find the underutilized
• 24:29
Speaker 10: or undernoticed areas along the byeway, and we really try
• 24:32
Speaker 10: to focus on those by highlighting different aspects, hosting events,
• 24:37
Speaker 10: partnering with other nonprofits along the byeway as well, just
• 24:40
Speaker 10: like we're doing with the American Legion here as well,
• 24:43
Speaker 10: So we try to we're not trying to reinvent the wheel,
• 24:46
Speaker 10: but we're trying to make the wheel roll as smooth
• 24:48
Speaker 10: as possible along the byeway.
• 24:50
Speaker 3: That's a good way to put it. Where can people
• 24:52
Speaker 3: get more information about not only tomorrow's event rob but
• 24:55
Speaker 3: all but any other events going on with Rivers to
• 24:57
  Speaker 3: Ridges well.
• 24:59
Speaker 10: Our Facebook page trying to keep us updated as possible
• 25:01
Speaker 10: and everything there that's Rivers to Ridges Heritage Trail on Facebook.
• 25:05
Speaker 10: We've also got Riverstorridges dot Com is our website. Race
• 25:09
Speaker 10: details are all on Facebook right now, but you can
• 25:12
Speaker 10: also find out we have a nice map of our
• 25:14
Speaker 10: byeway on our website that really shows little historical elements
• 25:18
Speaker 10: and details along the byeway that you might not find
• 25:20
Speaker 10: other places. So if you're ever looking for something fun
• 25:23
Speaker 10: to do with the kids, take them on a nice
• 25:24
Speaker 10: drive throughout the day and see some history of the area,
• 25:27
Speaker 10: you can get that map and pull off our website there.
• 25:29
Speaker 10: So it's a nice little resource for anyone wanting to
• 25:32
Speaker 10: see some of the unnoticed or i'd say underseen areas
• 25:36
  Speaker 10: in our area.
• 25:38
Speaker 3: All right, Rob Wish is the best of luck tomorrow
• 25:39
Speaker 3: and not only with this event, but anything else you
• 25:41
Speaker 3: got going on. We'll talk again soon, man, Thanks a lot,
• 25:44
Speaker 3: appreciate you. Dave Robin Adam again with the rivers to ridges.

Speaker 3: Also on the show on Monday, Canawh County commission President

Speaker 3: to talk about with Lance, including the fact that come

Speaker 3: whenever she's sworn in, we have now Kanawha County's first
• 27:10

Speaker 3: town that goes above and beyond is our friends in Nitro.
• 30:42
Speaker 3: Joe Stevens is here from the city of Nitro. Joe,
• 30:44
Speaker 3: good morning, Welcome to the show.
• 30:47
  Speaker 6: Good morning, David.
• 30:48
Speaker 3: How are you? I am fine, my friend. Have we
• 30:50
Speaker 3: talked since the World Series was over? I couldn't remember,
• 30:53
  Speaker 3: I think today?
• 30:55
Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, because you stood me up for the chili
• 30:57
  Speaker 6: cook calls.
• 30:57
Speaker 8: I had like work to do, I had worked.
• 31:00
Speaker 6: I don't even we won't even go there.
• 31:01
Speaker 3: Okay, how did the chili cookoff go last week? I
• 31:03
Speaker 3: saw it looked like it was another I know the
• 31:05
Speaker 3: weather was fantastic. How was the chili cookoff in Nitrol
• 31:08
  Speaker 3: last week?
• 31:09
Speaker 6: You know? I found out something, Dave, and you and
• 31:12
Speaker 6: I have been doing events for quite some time. But
• 31:14
Speaker 6: when you play in an event, a weather, B, weather
• 31:18
Speaker 6: C weather, EDI have fun. Yeah.
• 31:22
Speaker 3: And and and we'll add weather to that too, because
• 31:25
Speaker 3: that weather makes all the difference.
• 31:27
  Speaker 11: Uh.
• 31:27
Speaker 6: And and it went real well, It went real well.
• 31:30
Speaker 6: And we probably hospice which sells the tasting tickets sold
• 31:37
Speaker 6: five thousand tasting tickets on on on Saturday, so we
• 31:43
Speaker 6: raised twenty five hundred dollars for hospice and then I
• 31:47
Speaker 6: am going through the uh totals of the adult beverage
• 31:52
Speaker 6: sales and will probably be contributing another five thousand dollars
• 31:57
Speaker 6: split accordingly with the Putnam County Animal Shelter with West
• 32:02
Speaker 6: Virginia K nine Search and Rescue. So it was a
• 32:06
Speaker 6: very successful day and we've we're sending three winners to
• 32:10
Speaker 6: the World Championships in twenty twenty five.
• 32:13
  Speaker 3: That's awesome and that's what I You know, there's a
• 32:15
Speaker 3: lot of different chili events in the area, and I
• 32:17
Speaker 3: take part in as many as I can, either as
• 32:19
Speaker 3: a judge or just going because I like chili. But
• 32:21
Speaker 3: this one in Nitro, again, it's kind of kind of
• 32:23
Speaker 3: a little special because the people that went, they're going
• 32:26
Speaker 3: to other places. But what do you got going on
• 32:28
  Speaker 3: for veterans man.
• 32:30
Speaker 6: Well, you know Nitro. Actually, Happy birthday to Nitro, Dave.
• 32:34
Speaker 6: You might not have realized this, but on November the first,
• 32:39
Speaker 6: Nitro celebrated another birthday. But we were you know, formed
• 32:43
Speaker 6: because of the military with the explosive plant sea in
• 32:48
Speaker 6: nineteen seventeen, and we honor our veterans just like every
• 32:53
Speaker 6: community in this area. That is a heck. On Monday,
• 32:56
Speaker 6: there's going to be a great parade, not only in Charleston,
• 32:59
Speaker 6: but in Ripley too, honoring the veterans. But the way
• 33:03
Speaker 6: that Nitro honors the veterans on special days. We do
• 33:07
Speaker 6: it three hundred and sixty five days a year, but
• 33:10
Speaker 6: on a couple of special days on Sunday, November tenth,
• 33:13
Speaker 6: this coming Sunday, we'll be honoring the veterans with a
• 33:16
Speaker 6: special ceremony at five o'clock at the Nitro War Memorial
• 33:20
Speaker 6: that is located right at Bank Street in twenty first
• 33:23
Speaker 6: right there on Route twenty five. We'll have a ceremony
• 33:26
Speaker 6: beginning at five o'clock. Every year we have a different speaker.
• 33:32
Speaker 6: Three years ago we honored the Rosie the Riveters. Last
• 33:36
Speaker 6: year we honored the Ladies of the Military, the female
• 33:40
Speaker 6: side of the military, and Mara Bobbs was the speaker,
• 33:44
Speaker 6: a retired colonel with the National Guard with the Army.
• 33:48
Speaker 6: And this year we are honored to have as our
• 33:52
Speaker 6: guest speaker, Major General William Crane Bill Crane. He is
• 33:57
Speaker 6: the Adjutant General of West Virginia. He will be our
• 34:01
Speaker 6: keynote speaker the Again, that event starts at five o'clock.
• 34:05
Speaker 6: We'll be honoring some folks from the VFW from the
• 34:08
Speaker 6: American Legion and they will be there. We'll have a
• 34:11
Speaker 6: frag flag lowering and raising ceremony at the time we
• 34:16
Speaker 6: will be uh. It's just a time for us to
• 34:19
Speaker 6: say thanks to the veterans throughout the community. And again
• 34:22
Speaker 6: where we are honored to say that we as our
• 34:25
Speaker 6: guest speaker this year, we have West Virginia's ajud in General,
• 34:30
Speaker 6: Major General William Crane.
• 34:32
Speaker 3: It's good stuff. Again we're talking with Joe Stevens from
• 34:35
Speaker 3: the city of Nitro. And again what again, Like I
• 34:37
Speaker 3: said at the outset, Joe is Nitro is a city
• 34:41
Speaker 3: that was in effect born out of the military.
• 34:47
Speaker 6: Exactly when the US got involved in World War One
• 34:55
Speaker 6: with true activities and every things, sending soldiers abroad and
• 35:02
Speaker 6: fighting in the wards. There was a need for gunpowder
• 35:05
Speaker 6: and Nitro was selected. This area was selected because of
• 35:11
Speaker 6: being able to ship it out to produce gunpowder, and
• 35:17
Speaker 6: everything got underway right there in November of nineteen seventeen.
• 35:23
Speaker 6: And at one time, if you can picture this day.
• 35:25
Speaker 6: There were over one hundred thousand workers in Nitro building
• 35:31
Speaker 6: these plants, and some of these structures of the plants
• 35:34
Speaker 6: still stand today here in Nitro. A couple things of
• 35:37
Speaker 6: you probably already know, Dave, but a couple of the
• 35:40
Speaker 6: employees of explosive plants c an actor kind of had
• 35:46
Speaker 6: a couple parts that people might know about. But Clark
• 35:49
Speaker 6: Gable was one of the employees of the plant and
• 35:53
Speaker 6: also the first third baseman to be elected into the
• 35:57
Speaker 6: Baseball Hall of Fame. He was Pie Trainer, a third
• 36:01
Speaker 6: basement for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was also an employee.
• 36:05
Speaker 6: So in fact, I've sent pictures of the company baseball
• 36:10
Speaker 6: team to Cooperstown of Pie Trainer being on the company
• 36:14
Speaker 6: baseball team, and Clark Gable was also a member of
• 36:17
  Speaker 6: the baseball team.
• 36:18
Speaker 3: Can you imagine, Joe, and I'll go off on a
• 36:20
Speaker 3: tangent here before I let you go. Can you imagine
• 36:22
Speaker 3: our Hollywood A List celebrities today, or any athlete saying
• 36:28
Speaker 3: that I Am going to serve my country in time
• 36:30
Speaker 3: of war by working at a plant or doing anything
• 36:34
Speaker 3: like they did. I mean, can you do you see
• 36:36
Speaker 3: that happening? I'll answer that for you.
• 36:38
Speaker 6: No, but go ahead, thank you for keeping me in
• 36:42
Speaker 6: the States zone there, sir, and with a possible comment
• 36:46
Speaker 6: that I would make, but hey, something else I want
• 36:48
Speaker 6: to add that. It's also going on on Sunday, in
• 36:50
Speaker 6: conjunction with the five o'clock ceremony, we're premiering a video
• 36:56
Speaker 6: at three o'clock at the Nitro History and War's Museum.
• 37:00
Speaker 6: The title of the movie is High Tide at Wonder
• 37:07
Speaker 6: Beach and Wonder Being Wnder. It is a documentary based
• 37:13
Speaker 6: on the service of a local native, John Richardson, a
• 37:18
Speaker 6: Vietnam War veteran. Much of the video the production of
• 37:25
Speaker 6: the documentary was done in the Wars Museum right there
• 37:29
Speaker 6: at the Vietnam West Virginia Vietnam War Memorial Wall, and
• 37:35
Speaker 6: he talks about his time there in Vietnam. It's about
• 37:39
Speaker 6: fifty eight minutes or so. It's well produced. It's extremely
• 37:43
Speaker 6: good and if you are a veteran, especially a Vietnam
• 37:47
Speaker 6: War veteran, I suggest stopping by. We are premiering it
• 37:51
Speaker 6: at three o'clock on Sunday at the Wars Museum in Nitro,
• 37:56
Speaker 6: right there on twentieth Street, next to the Fire Department
• 37:59
Speaker 6: in City Hall. And the public is invited. Everything is free,
• 38:03
Speaker 6: but just another way Dave to say thanks to our
• 38:06
Speaker 6: veterans and go from there. Monday. By the way, we
• 38:10
Speaker 6: will also, prior to the parades going on and everything
• 38:14
Speaker 6: on Veterans Day, we will be having another very brief
• 38:17
Speaker 6: but honorable flag ceremony at the NCRO War Memorial and
• 38:22
Speaker 6: that'll be happening at seven point thirty. Very very you know,
• 38:27
Speaker 6: just just a good fellowship type of event. We'll have
• 38:30
Speaker 6: folks coming in from the VFW and the American Legion
• 38:33
Speaker 6: joining us for that ceremony.
• 38:35
Speaker 3: All right, lots of stuff to talk about in our
• 38:38
Speaker 3: good friend Joe Stevens, and thank you for not bringing
• 38:40
Speaker 3: up the Dallas Cowboys. I appreciate that.
• 38:43
Speaker 6: Oh tough game this week, buddy.
• 38:45
Speaker 3: Well aren't they all I mean at this point, aren't
• 38:47
Speaker 3: they all? I mean?
• 38:49
Speaker 6: Well, you're coming off, You're coming off the reserve list,
• 38:52
Speaker 6: so I mean, right now, everybody else has hurt. But
• 38:54
Speaker 6: that's another day for another story and you can we
• 38:57
Speaker 6: can sidebar that, all right.
• 38:59
Speaker 3: All right, So appreciate you man, have a great weekend.
• 39:01
Speaker 3: We'll talk soon and thanks a lot, Thank you, Dave.

Speaker 3: about these folks at the Generations Physical Therapy. And I've
• 39:39
Speaker 3: very been very open about this because I've I've lived
• 39:41
Speaker 3: fifty four years in almost two months of my life
• 39:45
Speaker 3: and very few health issues. I mean, I've been lucky.
• 39:48
  Speaker 3: It's all the clean living I do. I think that's
• 39:49
Speaker 3: what it is. But back in June, I started feeling
• 39:55
Speaker 3: a very very sharp pain in my arm and my
• 39:58
Speaker 3: neck and numb basically from my elbow down and went
• 40:01
Speaker 3: to a couple of different places saying, okay, what's going
• 40:03
Speaker 3: on here? Did the MRI. I thing did this did that?
• 40:06
Speaker 3: They could not figure out exactly what it was. Happened

Speaker 3: and they said once you could come by and see us.
• 40:16
Speaker 3: And I began physical therapy at the Generations Physical Therapy

Speaker 3: Center in Winfield. Primarily I did do one session in Hurricane.
• 40:24
Speaker 3: And let me tell you, the America workers, I mean,
• 40:26
Speaker 3: I'm still not there yet. I got a long way

• 40:31
Speaker 3: would highly recommend that you go check them out because
• 40:34
Speaker 3: they absolutely do a fantastic job. And I mean they're
• 40:37
Speaker 3: they're getting me into shape. Okay, if that's saying something
• 40:40
Speaker 3: right there for Travis and the folks at Generations Physical Therapy,
• 40:44
  Speaker 3: I appreciate you.
• 40:44
  Speaker 9: It does.
• 40:45
Speaker 3: Twelve minutes now away from ten. I mean I got
• 40:48
Speaker 3: a couple of texts here. Text says well says the texture.
• 40:52
Speaker 3: Since we have a peaceful transfer of power, all the
• 40:55

• 41:04
Speaker 3: who voted for Trump, I won't feel bad for you
• 41:07
Speaker 3: if you get caught up in the mass deportations. All
• 41:10
Speaker 3: the seniors who voted for Trump, I won't feel bad
• 41:13
Speaker 3: for you when social Security goes away due to quote
• 41:16
Speaker 3: government right sizing. I don't want to hear whining when
• 41:19
  Speaker 3: the reaping begins. I haven't had a chance, a whole
• 41:22
Speaker 3: lot of chance. I mean, Danny Jones and I talked
• 41:24
Speaker 3: about it the day after the election, about the about
• 41:26
Speaker 3: the Trump reelection. I saw a tide turning when the
• 41:33
Speaker 3: when when the shots were fired at Pennsylvania, I'm President Trump.
• 41:36
Speaker 3: And then with the debate and then the replacement of
• 41:40
Speaker 3: replacing President Joe Biden with Vice President Kambala Harris on
• 41:43
Speaker 3: the ticket. Uh, I don't. I kind of went back
• 41:47
Speaker 3: and forth on it as far as what I thought
• 41:49
Speaker 3: was not what I wanted to happen, but what I
• 41:50
Speaker 3: thought would happen. But I will say that I was
• 41:54
Speaker 3: one of the I said it on this show, and
• 41:55
Speaker 3: I've been wrong on the show a whole lot. Uh,
• 41:57
Speaker 3: But about this, I didn't think we would have the
• 42:00
Speaker 3: results of that soon. I really I thought that, I
• 42:02
Speaker 3: honestly thought that when the polls closed nationwide on Tuesday night,
• 42:05
Speaker 3: that come Friday morning, which is where we are right now,
• 42:08
Speaker 3: we would still not know who the president of the
• 42:10
Speaker 3: United States is now if you look, Chris and I
• 42:13
Speaker 3: were talking about this where Wood on the air this morning,
• 42:15
Speaker 3: that I had the TV on the studio and they
• 42:16
Speaker 3: were still counting votes, you know, in Arizona or Nevada
• 42:19
Speaker 3: or wherever it is. It's amazing to me that we
• 42:23
Speaker 3: can we can tally up the American Idol winner in
• 42:25
Speaker 3: a ninety second commercial break, but we can't manage to
• 42:28
Speaker 3: do it in an election. Hats off to West Virginia,
• 42:31
Speaker 3: by the way, for doing a great job and several
• 42:33
Speaker 3: other states that did as well. I was very surprised
• 42:36
Speaker 3: by the margin of trump victory. And here's the thing
• 42:39
Speaker 3: about him, in my opinion, people to this day still
• 42:45
Speaker 3: don't realize why Donald Trump is so popular. I got
• 42:51
Speaker 3: my issues with Donald Trump. I've made it very very
• 42:53
Speaker 3: plain on this show. I voted for Donald Trump on
• 42:56
Speaker 3: two different occasions, did not this time. But I do
• 43:02
Speaker 3: recognize the power of Donald Trump. Now what scares me
• 43:05
Speaker 3: a little bit, and what I have an issue with
• 43:07
Speaker 3: is the cult. The cult of Trump Trump is And
• 43:10
Speaker 3: I'm not saying because you support Donald Trump that you're
• 43:12
Speaker 3: in a cult. That's not what I'm saying, or because
• 43:13
Speaker 3: you've voted for Donald Trump. I'm not saying everybody, but
• 43:16
Speaker 3: I'm talking about and you know who they are, the
• 43:18
Speaker 3: people on your timeline. If you're on social media referring
• 43:21
Speaker 3: to Trump as daddy having him, you know these pictures
• 43:25
Speaker 3: with Jesus uh soon. That's a little a little weird
• 43:28
Speaker 3: to me. I'm not gonna lie to you, but you
• 43:31
Speaker 3: know that a lot of the people still don't understand
• 43:34
Speaker 3: why he won, and they they cannot fathom it. But
• 43:38
  Speaker 3: there's a reason. There's a reason why Donald Trump has
• 43:41
Speaker 3: been so so popular and remain so popular, and that
• 43:46
Speaker 3: is because they see something in him that they can
• 43:53
Speaker 3: relate to as a common person. Now, I know what
• 43:55
Speaker 3: you're saying, How in the heck could Donald Trump be
• 43:57
  Speaker 3: a common person? I get that, But I'm saying he's
• 44:01
Speaker 3: a master marketer. That's the thing about Donald Trump. Even
• 44:04
Speaker 3: with the shooting. And I'm not a conspiracy theorist saying
• 44:07
Speaker 3: that the assassination temple was faked or anything like that,
• 44:09
Speaker 3: but i will say he handled it perfectly, as a
• 44:13
Speaker 3: perfectly as you can handle a shot when you're in public.
• 44:15
Speaker 3: He did exactly the right thing, and he the fist
• 44:18
Speaker 3: pomp and the whole deal. I mean it was masterful.
• 44:21
Speaker 3: It was masterful. I give him credit. I give him
• 44:23
Speaker 3: credit for that. Let's do this. I got some text comany.
• 44:28
Speaker 3: I'm going to take a break. We'll be back right
• 44:29

Speaker 3: I told you where I went a little south on
• 48:20
Speaker 3: Donald Trump. Although I did, I did and still do
• 48:23
Speaker 3: agree with some of his policies. It was the Veterans Day,
• 48:26
Speaker 3: of course, January sixth, with a bit was the big
• 48:28
Speaker 3: thing for me, but it was also his treatment and
• 48:30
Speaker 3: his discussion of veterans. And I can't, for the life
• 48:33
Speaker 3: of me understand how someone who fought and died, or well,
• 48:39
Speaker 3: someone who nearly died for this country can support Donald Trump.
• 48:44
  Speaker 3: I just don't get that. That's one thing that I
• 48:47
Speaker 3: can't wrap my head around after the things that he
• 48:49

• 49:55
Speaker 3: wonder what disrespect Trump will give veterans on this Veterans Day. Well,
• 50:00
Speaker 3: I don't know what the President's plans are for Veterans Day,
• 50:03
  Speaker 3: but I have a feeling, because he's a president, there
• 50:06
Speaker 3: will be a photo op somewhere, and if I am
• 50:09
Speaker 3: watching it on television or catch it online or whatever,
• 50:12
Speaker 3: what's going to go through me is the things he
• 50:14
Speaker 3: said in the past about veterans. That's what's going to
• 50:16
Speaker 3: go through through my head when I watch it. The
• 50:20
Speaker 3: American people have spoken and as I said, Donald Trump
• 50:25
Speaker 3: is the president, the president elect of these here United
• 50:28
Speaker 3: States of America. Just as if Kamala Harris would have won,
• 50:34
Speaker 3: Kamala Harris I would have said, is my president, just
• 50:36
Speaker 3: as I said Barack Obama, who I had major issues with,
• 50:41
Speaker 3: was the President of the United States. I'm old school
• 50:43
Speaker 3: that way. I'm old school. I think that the office
• 50:47
Speaker 3: deserves respect. Whether you respect the person or not, the
• 50:49
Speaker 3: office does. And Donald Trump, come January whatever, will be
• 50:53
Speaker 3: the President of the United States, and he will be
• 50:56
Speaker 3: my president. So there, Dave Allen, Shill five, any Lie
