- 0:25Speaker 1: Hi, and welcome back to Pinky Boo Hauntings. I'll be
- 0:28Speaker 1: your witchy host Shy, and I'll be your guide to
- 0:31Speaker 1: all things paranormal, weird and spooky. Dudes. I hope you're ready.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I found a story that might be a really good one.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I know, I know, I say that all the time,
- 0:46Speaker 1: but the title on this one got me. I was
- 0:51Speaker 1: so excited to read it for the last episode, but
- 0:54Speaker 1: it was so long. I think it might take up
- 0:57Speaker 1: at least half of the episode on its so I
- 1:01Speaker 1: figured I move it over to this one and start
- 1:04Speaker 1: things off with a bang. So I hope you're ready
- 1:07Speaker 1: for this one, and I hope it does end up
- 1:09Speaker 1: being as good as I think it will be. This
- 1:12Speaker 1: story is called him Why I stopped touching wigi boards
- 1:18Speaker 1: after grade nine. Back in grade eight and nine, I
- 1:24Speaker 1: was obsessed with a paranormal I had a girlfriend at
- 1:28Speaker 1: the time who was really into Wika and she was
- 1:31Speaker 1: the one who got me into this shit. Before long,
- 1:35Speaker 1: we were playing with a wigi board every single day. Wait,
- 1:41Speaker 1: why play with a wigi board that much? That seems
- 1:44Speaker 1: like a lot. Does that seem like a lot to you, guys?
- 1:49Speaker 1: I do hope you closed it out properly, though a
- 1:52Speaker 1: douta eighth grader is going to do that, there wouldn't
- 1:56Speaker 1: also be this long ass story if they did. After
- 2:00Speaker 1: about a month of using it regularly, it started identifying
- 2:06Speaker 1: itself the same way. Every time we'd ask who are
- 2:11Speaker 1: we speaking with? And the reply was always him? I'm sorry?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Does this demon think it's him? From the Powerpuff Girls?
- 2:22Speaker 1: They could only dream to be as iconic as that queen.
- 2:28Speaker 1: At first, we weren't really scared, we were just kids,
- 2:33Speaker 1: but him eventually turned hostile. I'm not surprised at all,
- 2:41Speaker 1: because it's definitely trying to mess with you and wants
- 2:44Speaker 1: to scare you. The board started swearing and telling us
- 2:50Speaker 1: to fuck off. I got weirdly angry about it one
- 2:53Speaker 1: day and just flipped the board off the table mid session.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I stopped playing for a bit after that. For a minute,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna say you flipped the board off. Honestly,
- 3:07Speaker 1: that would have been funnier, but things didn't stop. Well, yeah,
- 3:14Speaker 1: it was probably feeding off your energy and building up
- 3:17Speaker 1: enough strength to really mess with you. Probably why I
- 3:21Speaker 1: was trying to piss you off. It wasn't just trying
- 3:24Speaker 1: to be rude. It wanted to get a reaction out
- 3:27Speaker 1: of you and make you as angry as it could.
- 3:31Speaker 1: A few weeks later, I was working the night shift
- 3:34Speaker 1: at Walmart, stalking shelves. Out of nowhere, I heard a
- 3:39Speaker 1: whisper just my name. I thought I imagined it, but
- 3:44Speaker 1: then it happened again, louder. I checked the next aisle
- 3:48Speaker 1: to see if someone was messing with me, but no
- 3:52Speaker 1: one was there. When the third whisper happened, it was
- 3:57Speaker 1: loud enough that I actually yelled out, Hello, who the
- 4:01Speaker 1: fuck is calling my name? Yeah, that thing is probably
- 4:06Speaker 1: attached to you now, because you were the one that
- 4:09Speaker 1: gave it the reaction it wanted. About forty seconds later,
- 4:16Speaker 1: a coworker walked up to me. She looked shaken. She
- 4:21Speaker 1: asked if I heard my name being called three times.
- 4:26Speaker 1: When I said yeah, she told me she was a
- 4:29Speaker 1: medium and that it was a sign someone in my
- 4:32Speaker 1: family is going to die. Okay, I don't think i've
- 4:37Speaker 1: ever heard of that before. I think the thing that
- 4:40Speaker 1: was talking to you through the board was just messing
- 4:43Speaker 1: with you, or a spirit that was trying to get
- 4:46Speaker 1: your attention. I thought it was kind of weird for
- 4:50Speaker 1: her to come up and like, with full confidence, call
- 4:53Speaker 1: yourself a medium. I'm into the paranormal, but I reserved skepticism.
- 5:00Speaker 1: So I tried to keep that conversation regular and started
- 5:04Speaker 1: talking about my plans for the future. She interrupted me
- 5:08Speaker 1: mid sentence, looking right at me. Every time you talk
- 5:13Speaker 1: about your future, I can hear something snickering, like something negative.
- 5:19Speaker 1: It's attached to you. It's trying to ruin your plans. Ah,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I knew it was attached to you the day you
- 5:28Speaker 1: flipped that board. It knew it could mess with you.
- 5:33Speaker 1: She had no idea about the board. I felt the
- 5:36Speaker 1: blood drain from my face as I instantly connected that
- 5:41Speaker 1: it was him. Maybe that's she was so confident. She
- 5:47Speaker 1: knew what she could do and probably was working on
- 5:50Speaker 1: her abilities for a long time. I mean, the fact
- 5:54Speaker 1: that she could hear the voices messing with you too
- 5:57Speaker 1: says a lot. Hell, if if you're still into the paranormal,
- 6:02Speaker 1: you should befriend her. I bet she could tell you
- 6:05Speaker 1: some stories. I went home after my shift and got
- 6:10Speaker 1: into bed, only to be woken up by the house phone.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I heard my mom in the hall saying, Oh no,
- 6:18Speaker 1: that's terrible, I'm so sorry. Adrenaline surged through me before
- 6:25Speaker 1: she even hung up. I was downstairs asking what happened.
- 6:30Speaker 1: She told me someone in her family, someone I didn't
- 6:33Speaker 1: really have a relationship with, had just died. I was
- 6:38Speaker 1: shitting bricks, But the Walmart experience honestly made me way
- 6:42Speaker 1: more intrigued, even though it was freaky as hell, having
- 6:48Speaker 1: it all confirmed like that just made me want to
- 6:51Speaker 1: push it further. I invited my best friend and my
- 6:55Speaker 1: girlfriend over to play in my parents' basement. Are you
- 7:01Speaker 1: seriously going to mess with Luigi Board again? Why do
- 7:05Speaker 1: that at that point? Other than to close out the session?
- 7:09Speaker 1: You clearly didn't close out last time. This was the
- 7:15Speaker 1: last time I played for several years. It was midday
- 7:21Speaker 1: and no one was home. We've been playing for like
- 7:24Speaker 1: twenty minutes. Suddenly the three of us started randomly smelling
- 7:28Speaker 1: breakfast sausage frying. It was unmistakable and completely out of place.
- 7:39Speaker 1: We asked the board if it was him, and it
- 7:43Speaker 1: said yes. Why breakfast sausage of all smells? Does it
- 7:49Speaker 1: think it's an evil smell or something that would scare anyone?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Cause I don't think that would be my first reaction.
- 7:57Speaker 1: This spirit kind of sucks at scaring people. My parents
- 8:02Speaker 1: came home later and made us supper. Was it breakfast sausage?
- 8:09Speaker 1: We paused to eat and then went back to the
- 8:11Speaker 1: basement to play. We were really pushing it now, asking
- 8:16Speaker 1: the board to prove it was there. Why would you
- 8:19Speaker 1: do that? Also, it already did that with the smell
- 8:22Speaker 1: of breakfast sausage, the scariest breakfast food of them all.
- 8:29Speaker 1: You know what, I always say to not antagonize a spirit,
- 8:33Speaker 1: But I don't know that I could keep my mouth shut.
- 8:36Speaker 1: If I was there, I'd probably make it worse because
- 8:39Speaker 1: I'd start laughing my ass off. We were asking it
- 8:44Speaker 1: to touch us, and we were moving around the room
- 8:47Speaker 1: trying to feel for cold spots. Eventually, my girlfriend and
- 8:52Speaker 1: I agreed to take it a step further, and I
- 8:55Speaker 1: asked the board if it could possess her. What the
- 9:00Speaker 1: actual fuck is wrong with you? For anyone listening to this, please,
- 9:04Speaker 1: for the love of God, do not do that. It's
- 9:08Speaker 1: just not worth whatever it is you're trying to do.
- 9:12Speaker 1: This is insane. The planch het moved faster than I've
- 9:18Speaker 1: ever seen. Yes, then it began to count down three,
- 9:27Speaker 1: two one. Seriously, would you ask it to do that?
- 9:35Speaker 1: You both for so stupid, unbelievably stupid. The light bulb
- 9:41Speaker 1: over our heads started to buzz, then flicker, then it
- 9:45Speaker 1: just went out. We were in complete darkness. I screamed
- 9:50Speaker 1: at the top of my lungs and ran upstairs. Damn
- 9:54Speaker 1: way to leave your girlfriend and best friend down there.
- 9:58Speaker 1: As I got up to the living room, where my
- 10:00Speaker 1: dad was watching TV, I saw the sky through the
- 10:03Speaker 1: big window flash bright white. The transformer across the street
- 10:09Speaker 1: had blown. I don't know how that shit works, but
- 10:14Speaker 1: in my mind, the transformer blowing should be the cause
- 10:18Speaker 1: of the lights going out. But the light bulb above
- 10:22Speaker 1: us buzzed and died first, and then, like fifteen seconds
- 10:27Speaker 1: after we were already upstairs, the transformer went. My buddy
- 10:33Speaker 1: was still downstairs, swearing because he tried to run but
- 10:38Speaker 1: slimmed into a wall in the dark. In the heightened
- 10:42Speaker 1: scare of the moment and trying to explain the chaos
- 10:45Speaker 1: to my parents, I kind of forgot about my girlfriend.
- 10:50Speaker 1: About twenty seconds later, she casually walked upstairs. She looked
- 10:55Speaker 1: like she had no idea why there was any commotion.
- 11:00Speaker 1: There wasn't one ounce of fear in her. She walked
- 11:04Speaker 1: past me, in a voice that was several optics deeper
- 11:07Speaker 1: than her own. She muttered something chilling right at me. Yeah,
- 11:13Speaker 1: that girl is possessed. I said what, and she just
- 11:17Speaker 1: looked at me and said what in her normal voice,
- 11:22Speaker 1: acting like she hadn't said a word. Then she did
- 11:26Speaker 1: the exact same thing to my buddy. I told her
- 11:29Speaker 1: she needs to go home. She lived around the block
- 11:33Speaker 1: and she walked home. Dude, she need to go home.
- 11:37Speaker 1: She needs an exorcism. The fuck. My buddy and I,
- 11:43Speaker 1: who I'm still friends with today, pretty much slept with
- 11:47Speaker 1: the lights on for a month, and I actually ran
- 11:50Speaker 1: away from home that night because I was so freaked out.
- 11:54Speaker 1: My parents told me later that it was just a
- 11:56Speaker 1: coincidence wind blew a branch into it. I accepted that. However,
- 12:03Speaker 1: around ten years ago, out of family function, it came up.
- 12:08Speaker 1: They told me they just said coincidence to calm me down,
- 12:12Speaker 1: that there was no wind that night. Parents are so
- 12:16Speaker 1: good at gaslighting kids when it comes to the paranormal.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I still wondered to this day how much my dad
- 12:22Speaker 1: was trying to gaslight me when I was being messed
- 12:25Speaker 1: with in our haunted house. Either way, you are so
- 12:30Speaker 1: stupid for messing Withoutuiji board and for asking it to
- 12:33Speaker 1: possess your girlfriend. Speaking of her, what happened to her
- 12:38Speaker 1: after that day? Was she okay? I really hope she
- 12:41Speaker 1: ended up being okay. I really hope she put a
- 12:44Speaker 1: protection spell on herself or something and wasn't stupid to
- 12:48Speaker 1: mess with that shit without a backup plan. Ugh, you
- 12:53Speaker 1: guys are so stupid, I swear. Let's move on from
- 12:57Speaker 1: these dumb kids to in an owing blue ghost kid.
- 13:02Speaker 1: That's the name of our next story. By the way,
- 13:06Speaker 1: I remember when I had a bunk bed in the
- 13:08Speaker 1: summer and I'd be chilling on my phone and then
- 13:12Speaker 1: I'd get this feeling that I'm being watched or a presence.
- 13:17Speaker 1: The best way to describe the feeling to those that
- 13:20Speaker 1: haven't experienced it, It feels kind of like when someone
- 13:24Speaker 1: comes in a room with you when you're alone and
- 13:27Speaker 1: they leave and you don't realize it. That feeling you
- 13:31Speaker 1: get when you realize they're gone is the best way
- 13:34Speaker 1: to describe it. Anyways, watching a Corey Kinchin try not
- 13:41Speaker 1: to laugh when I felt a presence, looked up and
- 13:45Speaker 1: can make out a little blue kid in the darkness
- 13:49Speaker 1: at the end of my bed you. Why is he blue?
- 13:54Speaker 1: Now that I think about it, it kind of looked
- 13:57Speaker 1: like eyelish Jack, but if he was a four year old.
- 14:01Speaker 1: It had a smile on its face and was oddly still.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I wasn't scared, but I was weirded out, so I
- 14:11Speaker 1: flicked my hand at it and it disappeared. Not you
- 14:16Speaker 1: just showing off a creepy ass child, spirit away like
- 14:19Speaker 1: it was nothing at Lisa listen, though maybe he wasn't
- 14:25Speaker 1: as bad as he seemed by his looks. A lot
- 14:30Speaker 1: of other stuff happened before and after that, but I'm
- 14:34Speaker 1: mostly focusing on the blue kid. I don't know how
- 14:37Speaker 1: many other nights passed, but it was one night when
- 14:41Speaker 1: I was on my phone, probably grinding for a stumbaton
- 14:44Speaker 1: on Call of Duty mobile, when I felt the same feeling.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I was annoyed because I didn't like it, so I
- 14:53Speaker 1: silently cursed it out before kicking at it. Since then,
- 14:59Speaker 1: I haven't it, but yeah, that sums it up. Tell
- 15:05Speaker 1: me if any of you guys dealt with something like
- 15:08Speaker 1: this too, Like, actually, I love the way you're dealing
- 15:14Speaker 1: with the spirit. Instead of being scared of it, you're
- 15:17Speaker 1: just annoyed at it. It's almost like a little brother
- 15:21Speaker 1: you don't want in your room. I still love that
- 15:25Speaker 1: when you basically told it to fuck off, it listened.
- 15:29Speaker 1: If you do this instead of letting it scare the
- 15:31Speaker 1: shit out of you, it will probably leave you alone.
- 15:36Speaker 1: All right, Let's move on to our last story. This
- 15:39Speaker 1: one is called do you Believe in Signs from Beyond?
- 15:46Speaker 1: After my sister died five years ago, I stop believing
- 15:50Speaker 1: in all things spiritual. I used to read Taro, but
- 15:54Speaker 1: I stop. I don't believe in the afterlife or someone's
- 15:58Speaker 1: spirit looking after me. I believe in coincidence and randomness.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Not everything happens for a reason. I'm about to change workplaces.
- 16:11Speaker 1: After three years at a place I mostly love, with
- 16:14Speaker 1: people i've grown to care about, I'm leaving. I'm headed
- 16:19Speaker 1: somewhere further away, where my antisocial self has to make
- 16:23Speaker 1: new friends and make new impressions on people. I understand
- 16:29Speaker 1: that feeling. I'm not good at meeting new people, and
- 16:32Speaker 1: it takes so long for me to warm up, so
- 16:36Speaker 1: I definitely get the anxiety that comes with changing jobs.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I've been struggling with the fact that everything is about
- 16:46Speaker 1: to change. What's really reeling from it today? As tomorrow
- 16:52Speaker 1: is my last day at my current place. As I
- 16:57Speaker 1: walked outside to head to my car, I heard a croak.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I honestly, upon first glance, thought there was a cat
- 17:06Speaker 1: down the road throwing up. When I took a second look,
- 17:12Speaker 1: I saw that it was not a cat. It was,
- 17:15Speaker 1: in fact, a raven. I have never seen one in
- 17:20Speaker 1: person before, and I quickly googled it. This bird was
- 17:26Speaker 1: humongous and croaped. That is a characteristic that separates it
- 17:32Speaker 1: from the crows. I've seen crows. I like crows, but
- 17:39Speaker 1: this was not a crow. He sat for a moment
- 17:42Speaker 1: and flew off, and I thought to myself, my next
- 17:47Speaker 1: google will be what does that mean? You know, for
- 17:52Speaker 1: someone that's not spiritual anymore, you sure are googling some
- 17:56Speaker 1: weird things. But who am I to judge? I do
- 18:01Speaker 1: it too, except obviously I am spiritual messengers from the
- 18:08Speaker 1: spiritual to the physical world. Wisdom, intelligent transformation, deep change,
- 18:16Speaker 1: letting go of the old and embracing the new. I'm
- 18:21Speaker 1: thrown for a loop, cried. After that, I felt relief.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I wasn't reeling anymore, Still nervous about the new path
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'm taking, but also looking forward to it. This doesn't
- 18:37Speaker 1: make me believe, I don't think, but it's something I know.
- 18:45Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what I say, But to me, this
- 18:48Speaker 1: feels like you do believe, but are either scared to
- 18:52Speaker 1: believe or don't want to believe. Because it does seem
- 18:56Speaker 1: like you didn't get a visit from your sister. Maybe
- 19:00Speaker 1: you felt like none of the paranormal could be real,
- 19:02Speaker 1: and that's fair. You lost your sister and that must
- 19:07Speaker 1: have been so hard on you. And while I'm not
- 19:11Speaker 1: sure if that was her sending you a message, I
- 19:15Speaker 1: do believe someone was looking out for you and was
- 19:18Speaker 1: trying to cheer you on, maybe even trying to help
- 19:22Speaker 1: ease some of your anxiety, which seemed to have worked,
- 19:26Speaker 1: and it seemed to have given you some comfort. So
- 19:30Speaker 1: no matter what, you do have that, and I really
- 19:33Speaker 1: do hope you keep that with you. This is also
- 19:36Speaker 1: why I say that sometimes we get signs that maybe
- 19:40Speaker 1: we don't recognize as signs. Obviously, don't go looking for
- 19:45Speaker 1: signs in everything. It'll happen naturally. Just try not to
- 19:50Speaker 1: close your mind off to them, if that makes sense. Anyways,
- 19:56Speaker 1: if you're liking the podcast, consider wating and reviewing, and
- 20:02Speaker 1: if you're listening to this on YouTube, like and subscribe. Also,
- 20:06Speaker 1: if you please, could you spread the word about the coven.
- 20:10Speaker 1: The more witches, the better write. And if you have
- 20:14Speaker 1: a story of your own you'd like to hear on
- 20:17Speaker 1: the podcast, send me an email. The email is in
- 20:20Speaker 1: the show notes or the description below. But for now,
- 20:25Speaker 1: the Coven is adjourned. See you next time. Bye,
