Man Sentenced for Apartment Fire
Robert Simms, a Maryland man, got a 25-year sentence after pleading guilty to attempted murder and reckless endangerment for setting fire to an apartment building — trapping four people who barely escaped via balcony, thanks to a sprinkler system. The blaze caused $375,000 in damage. Prosecutors said the fire was retaliation after he was asked to leave, and the judge called his actions terrifying and life-threatening. He’ll also serve five years probation after release. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn. Advertise on DNN:advertise@thednn.ai This is an…
