- 0:01Speaker 1: Opinions expressed on this programmer those of the host and
- 0:03Speaker 1: do not necessarily reflect those of KVOR, Cumulus Media or
- 0:08Speaker 1: its advertisers. Richard Randall is on Colorado seven KVR.
- 0:14Speaker 2: All right, so I'm not shutting down or tamping down
- 0:18Speaker 2: the discussion about Black History Month at seven. I got
- 0:21Speaker 2: a number of text messages here if you'd still like
- 0:24Speaker 2: to text in on that seven one five zero seven
- 0:28Speaker 2: four zero.
- 0:30Speaker 3: I do want to get to something that happened yesterday.
- 0:33Speaker 2: As you know, Dan Bongino goes from doing radio to
- 0:36Speaker 2: being part of the Trump administration and then not being
- 0:39Speaker 2: part of the Trump administration.
- 0:41Speaker 3: There have been all kinds of rumors.
- 0:42Speaker 2: About why he left the FBI and came back to
- 0:46Speaker 2: the private world.
- 0:47Speaker 3: He's got his own streaming podcast now.
- 0:50Speaker 2: He's no longer on radio, but he did for his
- 0:53Speaker 2: initial premiere yesterday have the President on. And I saw
- 0:58Speaker 2: Bongino on last night as well, so he is still
- 1:03Speaker 2: a thing and he is important. On the other hand,
- 1:07Speaker 2: one of the most important and interesting things I heard
- 1:10Speaker 2: yesterday anywhere was on Vince Colonnades. Vince does his show
- 1:14Speaker 2: right after mine, and he piggybacked onto Bongino by taking
- 1:18Speaker 2: some of the audio from Bongino to Vince to me.
- 1:22Speaker 2: The bottom line here is the President talking about Tina Peters.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Just yesterday.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Securing elections continues to be top of mind for President Trump,
- 1:32Speaker 4: as he called on Republicans to take over in nationalized
- 1:36Speaker 4: voting in at least fifteen unspecified places. The President making
- 1:40Speaker 4: comments on the Dan Bongino Show where he alleged some
- 1:43Speaker 4: states are allowing people in the country to vote illegally, saying, quote,
- 1:48Speaker 4: we have states that are so crooked and they're counting votes.
- 1:51Speaker 4: The idea getting pushed back by some of the President's
- 1:53Speaker 4: own party. Republican Congressman Don Bacon on X says, quote,
- 1:57Speaker 4: I oppose nationalizing elections. When Speaker Pelosi wanted major changes
- 2:02Speaker 4: to elections in all fifty states, I'll oppose this now
- 2:05Speaker 4: as well. On Capitol Hill, Ryan Schmells Fox News.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Okay, so.
- 2:14Speaker 2: We'll go to what President Trump had to say exactly
- 2:17Speaker 2: in a couple of minutes here. But you just never
- 2:20Speaker 2: know how life is going to turn out, right. Did
- 2:23Speaker 2: I have a ton of respect for some people that
- 2:27Speaker 2: I Nicki Minaj for instance, or you know Megan this
- 2:31Speaker 2: stat These people weren't even on my radar for half
- 2:34Speaker 2: of my life, for the majority of my life. So
- 2:37Speaker 2: I have to, you know, take a look and find out,
- 2:39Speaker 2: all right, who is this person? What are they saying? Again,
- 2:42Speaker 2: that happens to me a lot. I don't think I'm
- 2:44Speaker 2: you know, unique on that, but I will say that
- 2:47Speaker 2: when I see a headline. Nicki Minaj endorses voter id
- 2:51Speaker 2: laws in a viral post calling out politicians fighting against them.
- 2:57Speaker 2: So if ever there was just a common sense thing
- 3:00Speaker 2: that would bring together President Trump, President Tina Peters in
- 3:06Speaker 2: her seventies in a prison for nine years, not a
- 3:11Speaker 2: violent criminal, not a flight risk or anything like that,
- 3:14Speaker 2: not in great health, but she's still in prison. And
- 3:17Speaker 2: then you've got Nicki Minaj and look, I looked at
- 3:21Speaker 2: some of her songs and videos.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yes, it's such a double ed sword.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I saw her sit down do an interview with Charlie
- 3:30Speaker 2: Kirk's wife, Erica, and I was kind of amaze.
- 3:33Speaker 3: She's a big Trump supporter, and she seems very Christian conservative.
- 3:37Speaker 2: In some regards, and on the other hand, some of
- 3:39Speaker 2: us vile comments in some of the lyrics to her songs.
- 3:43Speaker 2: It just shows that there are many times people aren't
- 3:45Speaker 2: just one thing. There a couple of different dimensions to
- 3:48Speaker 2: those people. Right, So I think that the biggest no
- 3:53Speaker 2: brainer in the world ought to be that there's voter
- 3:58Speaker 2: I D before you can vote. And how could that,
- 4:01Speaker 2: you know, be an issue when almost I can't think
- 4:04Speaker 2: of another country that doesn't require some form of ID
- 4:08Speaker 2: to vote. You know what, I knew there was something wrong.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It was Barack Obama. He had all these questions about
- 4:14Speaker 2: where he was born in his backstory, et cetera. And
- 4:20Speaker 2: you had, you know, the birth certificate and wasn't forged,
- 4:22Speaker 2: and you know, you had a sheriff urpio into that,
- 4:27Speaker 2: and there's still a lot to that story.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I think.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I'm not bringing up that story to talk about the story,
- 4:32Speaker 2: but something that came out of that. And so after
- 4:36Speaker 2: Barack Obama's horn in and before his second term, there
- 4:41Speaker 2: was a push for a very simple thing, and that is,
- 4:45Speaker 2: before you were allowed onto a ballot in a particular state,
- 4:49Speaker 2: you should have to verify that you're qualified to be
- 4:52Speaker 2: on the ballot. And part of that verification should be
- 4:55Speaker 2: that you just prove that you're a US citizen. How
- 4:58Speaker 2: hard is that that went nowhere? What that's just common sense?
- 5:04Speaker 2: I mean, why would they go nowhere. Well, remember I
- 5:07Speaker 2: always tell you if something doesn't make sense, there's something
- 5:10Speaker 2: behind it that would make it make sense. The thing
- 5:13Speaker 2: behind it that would make it make sense is Obama
- 5:16Speaker 2: didn't want to have to go through that kind of
- 5:18Speaker 2: scrutiny state after state after state after state. Is there
- 5:21Speaker 2: any other explanation to it? Because if there is, go
- 5:25Speaker 2: ahead and let me.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Know about that. Go ahead and let me know about that.
- 5:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 5:29Speaker 2: So the President has been, you know, and he has
- 5:32Speaker 2: been doing his best to pressure Colorado, Jared Poulis and
- 5:36Speaker 2: the rest over this Tina Peters issue.
- 5:39Speaker 3: And again, Tina.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Peters was prosecuted in a state court and sentenced by
- 5:45Speaker 2: a state judge. There is an appeal and talking with
- 5:48Speaker 2: people like Charity McPike and Ash Epp and a lot
- 5:51Speaker 2: of others, and we talked about the appeal hearing. It
- 5:55Speaker 2: looks good to me and to several others who've been
- 5:57Speaker 2: watching this that this thing may be overturned on appeal.
- 6:02Speaker 2: My point has been, even before you need to be
- 6:05Speaker 2: talking about the facts of the case, exactly what she
- 6:08Speaker 2: did or didn't do, just get her the hell out
- 6:11Speaker 2: of a prison. And that ought to be something that
- 6:14Speaker 2: every county clerk and the governor of the president, You
- 6:17Speaker 2: and I and everybody else could just say without even
- 6:21Speaker 2: talking about whether she was or wasn't guilty with damn thing,
- 6:24Speaker 2: or if so, what it was, or all of that
- 6:26Speaker 2: set that to the side. Human decency just says she
- 6:29Speaker 2: doesn't deserve to be sitting in a prison for nine
- 6:32Speaker 2: years for God's sake.
- 6:34Speaker 3: All right. So this is what David, I'm sorry.
- 6:36Speaker 2: This is what President and Trump had to say on
- 6:39Speaker 2: Dan Bongino's show yesterday. It's about two and a half minutes.
- 6:42Speaker 2: That's longer than we normally play, but credit to Dan Bongino.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And I think it's important to hear exactly what the
- 6:48Speaker 2: president had to say because I think you'll notice something
- 6:51Speaker 2: that I noticed when I heard this the first time
- 6:53Speaker 2: as well. President Trump.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Yeah, President Trump was talking about the FBI raid in
- 6:58Speaker 5: Georgia from last week, and he told Dan Bongino today, Hey,
- 7:03Speaker 5: this is about to get really interesting, some really big
- 7:07Speaker 5: stuff is about to come out.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Interesting things, he said, listen.
- 7:10Speaker 6: So to nationalize the voting, and we have states that
- 7:14Speaker 6: are so crooked and they accounting votes.
- 7:16Speaker 3: We have states that.
- 7:17Speaker 6: I won that Joe I didn't win. Now, you're going
- 7:20Speaker 6: to see something in Georgia where they were able to
- 7:22Speaker 6: get with the court order the ballots. You're going to
- 7:25Speaker 6: see some interesting things come out. But you know, like
- 7:28Speaker 6: the twenty twenty election, I won that election by so much,
- 7:30Speaker 6: everybody does it. They put a woman in jail. Colorado
- 7:34Speaker 6: put a woman in jail, a wonderful woman seventy two
- 7:37Speaker 6: years old, had cancer because she was a voting inspector.
- 7:41Speaker 6: She was in charge of a voting era and she
- 7:43Speaker 6: saw boxes of votes come in, so she went over
- 7:47Speaker 6: to check it and they put her in jail for
- 7:49Speaker 6: voter manipulation. And she's still in jail and they better
- 7:52Speaker 6: let her out fast, and they're suffering a big price. Colorado,
- 7:56Speaker 6: they have this woman in jail who's seventy one years
- 7:58Speaker 6: old and probably has cam so she's just awful. And
- 8:02Speaker 6: they put her in because she challenged somebody that was
- 8:05Speaker 6: dumping ballast into a box. Okay, and they didn't put
- 8:08Speaker 6: them in jail.
- 8:09Speaker 2: This was doing.
- 8:10Speaker 6: Biden disturbed the worst president in history, and we had
- 8:13Speaker 6: some bad ones. I mean, look, Bronco said Obabara, I
- 8:16Speaker 6: call him the great divider. People couldn't say that. They
- 8:19Speaker 6: you mentioned his name. They go crazy, they start going
- 8:21Speaker 6: the hell out of them. We had some really bad ones.
- 8:23Speaker 6: I mean, Jimmy Gotter wasn't exactly the greatest. Jimmy Gardter
- 8:27Speaker 6: didn't exactly have the hit on Venezuela that I remember his.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Yeah, look, that's a great, great recitation of the factor.
- 8:34Speaker 2: President, hold on, hold on, hold on, I'm gonna I'm
- 8:39Speaker 2: gonna go to a break here in a second. But
- 8:41Speaker 2: you're gonna be thinking. I think some of you would
- 8:43Speaker 2: have noticed what I noticed, and that is, but President Trump,
- 8:47Speaker 2: you you got the packs a little.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Bit wrong, and and he did.
- 8:51Speaker 2: And to me, it sounds like he was, you know,
- 8:54Speaker 2: taking two cases or three cases and cramming them into
- 8:58Speaker 2: one story, which was Tina, which is not actually one
- 9:01Speaker 2: hundred percent accurate. So I want to acknowledge that, and
- 9:04Speaker 2: I want you to be aware of that because you're
- 9:06Speaker 2: probably going to have some liberal or Democrat that you mentioned.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Or a lot of Republicans for that matter.
- 9:12Speaker 2: You mentioned the name Tina Peters, and they're going to say, oh, well,
- 9:15Speaker 2: President Trump, Heeri is trying to put pressure on Colorado
- 9:18Speaker 2: and it doesn't even know what that least talking about.
- 9:20Speaker 2: So I love this president. Let me give you an example.
- 9:24Speaker 2: So a little year ago, so my former producer Ray
- 9:27Speaker 2: and I go up to Aurora and we're up there
- 9:30Speaker 2: with Danielle Jorinsky. President Trump is there and it was
- 9:35Speaker 2: to his attention about the Venezuelan gang trying to Irrague
- 9:38Speaker 2: and that happened because of Danielle Jurinsky, and it became
- 9:41Speaker 2: a big national issue.
- 9:43Speaker 3: And you are still seeing that it's still in the
- 9:46Speaker 3: news because half the not half the time.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Now, I sounded like President Trump a lot of times
- 9:50Speaker 2: when you're arresting somebody for a crime and they're here
- 9:53Speaker 2: in the country illegally, it does have to do with
- 9:56Speaker 2: that person being from Venezuela and being a member of
- 9:59Speaker 2: that gang. The President had a tendency to make it
- 10:02Speaker 2: sound like the gangs had taken.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Over all of Aurora, Colorado.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Well, I went up there to the apartments that were,
- 10:12Speaker 2: you know, the central focus.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Of all of this.
- 10:15Speaker 2: And daniel is from Aurora, She's a hometown girl. She
- 10:19Speaker 2: tried to make it clear that.
- 10:21Speaker 3: No, Aurora was not overrun.
- 10:23Speaker 2: The entire city is not all you know, under gangs
- 10:26Speaker 2: or anything like that, but there is a threat and
- 10:28Speaker 2: it started here and then it expanded up and down
- 10:31Speaker 2: the front Range. You had to rest here in Colorado Springs.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Remember that big after hours raid. You had TDA that
- 10:37Speaker 2: were there, and they're all over the place, even a
- 10:39Speaker 2: connection to Lake and Riley you had if you remember,
- 10:42Speaker 2: you had the cops were getting beat up in New
- 10:46Speaker 2: York and it turns out that the people are beating
- 10:49Speaker 2: them up were TDA.
- 10:52Speaker 3: So the President sometimes.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't think he intentionally embellishes things,
- 10:58Speaker 2: but he has a tendency perhaps to.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Overstate.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I think I want to be carefully with my words overstate.
- 11:07Speaker 2: So he did that with regard to TDA taking over
- 11:10Speaker 2: all of Aurora, and he did get things confused with
- 11:13Speaker 2: regard to Tina Peters and the exact framework there is
- 11:18Speaker 2: that important. Does that mean Tina Peters should really just
- 11:21Speaker 2: stay in prison for nine years? Does that mean that
- 11:25Speaker 2: attempts to get her out of there? Just toss it out,
- 11:28Speaker 2: President Trump, you know, got things confused on that.
- 11:31Speaker 3: So you know, no, no Tena stays where she's at.
- 11:34Speaker 2: That is one hundred percent absolutely wrong and that's the
- 11:37Speaker 2: wrong way to look at that. And if anybody tries
- 11:40Speaker 2: telling you that, I'll tell you your response when we
- 11:43Speaker 2: come back seven to one, nine seven,
