- 4:25going into the new year. So I want you, guys, for those
- 4:29that do not know me, I am effectually known as the Queen of Collaboration
- 4:33across these social media streets. But I'm just little Angela Thomas from leveland South
- 4:40Carolina. But I just believe that in order for change, I have to
- 4:44be that change. So I am that change that I desire to see in
- 4:46this world. And my goal is to encourage others to be that change that
- 4:53they desire to see in this world as well. So thank you, thank
- 4:58you for tuning in and if you would share this in your circle of influence,
- 5:02because you never know what the next person may be in need of,
- 5:08never know what the next person may be in need of. Those that have
- 5:11been following me know that I have for the last year and a half have
- 5:15really really been going hard with the state of Texas and the things that are
- 5:21transpiring within the state of Texas that have been transpiring over the last three or
- 5:30four decades, things that people have been brushing under the rug and just acting
- 5:35like he's not been in right there in playing sight. We've talked about the
- 5:41corruption. Those that follow me, y'all see the video that I shared.
- 5:47That five minute video was a class project that I made an al I actually
- 5:54got a eight in the class, made a ninety seven in the class.
- 5:58In that video is on a paper about the corruption focusing on the parole board.
- 6:08So if you guys have not had an opportunity to check that video out,
- 6:11I want you to go over check that videout video out so that you
- 6:14guys can hear a little bit about what I am fighting for. Just that
- 6:19that that's just one of the things that I'm fighting for. Along with a
- 6:24slew of other individuals. Tonight, we have mister Carnell. Those that follow
- 6:35me and support the things that I do. Know that he's been on several
- 6:41times. He's a household name over here on the Crew podcast and within the
- 6:48platform Free Texas Campaign. He is the co founder of the Free Texas Campaign.
- 6:55When I tell you, this man goes hard for helping individuals to get
- 7:02free. He has helped individuals that have been wrongfully or overly incarcerated go home,
- 7:11be able to go home. Even in the midst of all that he's
- 7:15facing, he's not He's still look out for other people. So I'm i'm,
- 7:21i'm, I'm just glad to be able to have him on and to
- 7:26allow him to share. And we're gonna let him share however he's led to
- 7:31to share. Not all the time they want to talk about their case,
- 7:34not all the time they want to talk about what's going on in the facility.
- 7:39But whatever's laid on his heart, that's what I'm giving him the floor
- 7:44to talk about on tonight. If y'all would, if you're in the state
- 7:48of Texas and and you are familiar with congressmen and women and representatives and and
- 7:57all of those good things, y'all, I need y'all to be tagging them
- 8:00in these videos, letting them know what we're doing over here, getting them
- 8:03involved. And then if you will shoot them some letters, let them know
- 8:09what's on your mind, let them know how you feel, you know,
- 8:13and and and if you see something that they that they said that they were
- 8:18supposed to be and that they was gonna do to when they got elected and
- 8:22not doing it, then it's up to us to speak up and bring that
- 8:28to their knowledge. You know, if if they run a campaign and say
- 8:31they running on this campaign and then they get an office and switch up and
- 8:35do something totally different. Then we need to bring that to their knowledge and
- 8:39we need to hold them accounting. It's all about accountability, y'all. Accountability.
- 8:46But y'all, I'm gonna move out the way. I'm gonna move out
- 8:48the way and let my guess come on up and share on tonight. This
- 8:54the carneal of the floor is yours you very much, Malama Jams as always,
- 9:03ma'am, breakful man to you know, real part of the pre Texas
- 9:05camp paign in the full podcast. Now you know for a minute now,
- 9:11ma'am, you know, I've been struggling down with trying to you know,
- 9:13get these state representatives and these Texas senators to recognize the problems affect from the
- 9:18Texas Pinal justice system and that how this corruption has tracked our criminal justice systems
- 9:24to the point where, you know, like we said, thousands and thousands
- 9:28of Enos, the man and women in these prison systems and they can't get
- 9:31out because of the corruption on our system and how they are locked in.
- 9:35So what I've been doing, basically, ma'am, you know, since being
- 9:37a part of the Pretexts campaign, ma'am, like I said, I've been
- 9:41going home, you know, and I'm trying to frame a lot of people
- 9:45home by trying to make sure that, like I say, these representative of
- 9:48know what's going on. And today I've been sending back writing letters to missus
- 9:52Delma Allen carl O's sherman, mister Ron Reynolds, because like you said earlier,
- 9:58they can on paying for trying to reform our sex justice system. We
- 10:03got a thing called the second this Deal down here, ma'am, and this
- 10:07second this Deal saying, ma'am, it's one law that they don't want to
- 10:11pass to give the juvenile some type of relief on their long term sentences.
- 10:16A lot of these kids have been sentenced to capital life sentences now and they
- 10:20don't have no way of being able to get out of prison, but they
- 10:22have to do forty flag years. So what I've been doing is trying to
- 10:28work with these state state representative and Texans sentences to deal a platform called a
- 10:33House Drunk Resolution fifty three, and it has been acknowledged so now the governor
- 10:39he knocked it down just a few months ago, but the public has amounts
- 10:43that they want this deal to pass because this deal will give a Jelgy the
- 10:48power now to grant some type of release for these kids that are locked up
- 10:52fifteen twenty twenty five villas when they were convicted, they had a juvenile I
- 10:58want to stop you because you said something, really, really you said something,
- 11:03and I want to bring this to people's attention that they're in the state
- 11:07of Texas. You said that the governor knocked the bill down. So the
- 11:13governor, you know, I want to tell you why he's so busy knocking
- 11:16down bills because he's so busy over here trying to get vouchers for for for
- 11:22private schools, if if if if people. And what he said was because
- 11:28all those the people that voted against him, his fellow Republicans, the gops
- 11:33that voted against him, he too busy trying to seek revenge on them to
- 11:37worry about anything else. His his whole objective is to bring them down.
- 11:43I got an article. I posted it. Yeah, I be finding all
- 11:46kinds of stuff on your corrupt officials that sit in office, the whole office.
- 11:52And not only that, your your your, your at turner general.
- 11:56He's on the same path everybody that that that voted against him. I'm trying
- 12:03to y'all excuse that music. I'm trying to find this thing on what's thing
- 12:07so I can read it. But everybody that voted against him for him to
- 12:11be impeached, he's on a vindictive to to to to get them. That's
- 12:16what that. These are their words and I'm gonna share them with you in
- 12:20just a second soon as I pull it up. I got it. But
- 12:24that's their problem, and they want to get these people back, and they're
- 12:28not worrying about nothing else. That that's that's that's that's their whole issue is
- 12:33they are trying to be vindictive and this, this is it. This is
- 12:39the article I found an article. It says Paston is working to defeat the
- 12:46House Republicans who voted to impeach him and may on abuse of office charges.
- 12:52The Senate acquitted him after the trial in September. Abbot, meanwhile, wants
- 12:58to unseek the House Republicans who who who? Who starked his year long crusade
- 13:07for school vouchers, which would allow parents to use taxpayer dollars to help pay
- 13:11for private schools. It say both of them have their work cut out.
- 13:18It's say sixty House Republicans voted to impeach facts and while Abbot is focused on
- 13:24the narrow group of twenty one who voted last month to strip a voucher proposal
- 13:30out of the border education bill, which they should because if parents want their
- 13:33kids to go to private school, then they should go. They should.
- 13:37They should have to split that bill for them to go to private school.
- 13:43They our kids can't. They we can't just put our kids in private school.
- 13:48They if we put our kids in private school, we gotta pay for
- 13:50it. We gotta pay for it. That's a in these charter schools.
- 13:54We gotta pay for the charter schools. We gotta pay for this. We
- 13:56gotta pay for that. So they should have to pay for it too.
- 14:00Why should they get vouchers. They're not giving out vouchers for us. But
- 14:05that's the problem. They too busy trying to be vindictive, too busy trying
- 14:09to to fight for stuff that is irrelevant. You got your attorney general.
- 14:15You got your attorney general all the way up there in Missouri, all the
- 14:18way up there somewhere else where he at he all the way somewhere where he
- 14:24don't need to be trying to talk about some transgender stuff, and got a
- 14:28whole They got a whole hospital system ready to sue him. That's what's going
- 14:37on. See, they off worrying about stuff that they shouldn't be worrying about
- 14:41when they should be home, worried about this corruption, worried about all these
- 14:46people that they put in prison, wrongfully and overly incarcerated. That's what they
- 14:50should be worrying about. But they are worrying about all that stuff right there.
- 14:56That's why they can't get nothing done. Thanks you for mentioning that.
- 15:01Man. You know, since my thirty three years of being incarcerated, man,
- 15:05I have come to unravel a whole wide range of corruption in the state
- 15:11of Texas, especially the criminal justice system. And you know, like I
- 15:15say, they caught me well, ma'am, because like I said, I
- 15:16had to go through it dramatically. I come to learn that the update process
- 15:22cases are being a burn without any review of records. Man. Okay,
- 15:26when a person doing eleven or seven round, those cases are not even being
- 15:30reviewed. So all these kids that's come to prison, man, trying to
- 15:33challenge their cases of being rawly incarcerated by fibrecated ever that spalsified government documents and
- 15:41stuff like I texted Attorney General as a part of it. Come to find
- 15:45out, mam to text, attorney general is accepting a record and telling people
- 15:48to destroy records of juvenile and stuff like this to keep people from being able
- 15:54to overturn their convictions. This is what's going on down here in the state
- 15:58of Texas. Now, the average children law that's incarcerated in the state of
- 16:03Texas, they have destroyed the records, so they don't they destroyed the records.
- 16:07Then if records are destroyed, If they're destroying records and they're destroying stuff,
- 16:12then how can they uphold a conviction. How can they say that this
- 16:17is what this person is supposed to happen, this is what happened if they
- 16:21have no evidence, they have nothing to say that this is that and this
- 16:23is that. So how do they get to destroy records and then still get
- 16:27to hold these people in in in in in prison. Okay, that's a
- 16:33good question, ma'am. Okay. What we got down here is called jurisdiction.
- 16:37Ma'am. Okay. If you kick convicted, you have to follow appeal
- 16:40to the Court of Appeals. That's jurisdiction. After that, thirty days is
- 16:44up, ma'am. You got to follow pd R to the Quarter colmin appeals.
- 16:48After they deny your your direct appeal, you got to go to the
- 16:51court four on and on and on. So the point is that they hold
- 16:56you on jurisdictions and time limitations. I was wrong to convicted thirty three years
- 17:00ago and just recently, just from July to seventeen. The Good acknowledge the
- 17:06fact that I was wrongly convicted, but he said that because I did not
- 17:10follow a complaint within two years a statue of a limitation from twenty twenty one
- 17:15to twenty twenty three, that some time board. But I demonstrated it to
- 17:18him that wait a minute. You've got a police department, a metal exam
- 17:22of office, and a district attorney's office fabricating of it, and start to
- 17:26find government documents and sending the records to the textis Attorney General to withhold from
- 17:30public review. And now you're gonna tell me about a two year starte of
- 17:33limitation. That's impossible because now you've got thousands and thousands of people sitting in
- 17:40Texas prisms and on Texas death Row for being framed behind these operations. So
- 17:47now it's bad because you know I follow a complaint with the Texas Tourney doneral,
- 17:51and they don't write me back there to me that they can't do anything
- 17:53about it. But these are the same ones who I have to challenge in
- 17:56challenging my conviction, the same people who got my record. My question now
- 18:02is who who checks, who holds and checks these people that's supposed to be
- 18:10checking and doing all this stuff, all these people that have the power to
- 18:12do this and the power to do Who's holding them accountable, who's checking them,
- 18:17who's watching them, who's watching the person that's watching who's doing that?
- 18:22Madam? You know what you've mentioned it before of our nippotism, ma'am.
- 18:26Okay, I'm saystem to build on from where kids of Judge is coming up
- 18:32and offered some stuff like that. So now we have red tape on our
- 18:36powers right now, man, my case has been molecued from the day say
- 18:40they were. Red tape has been on my file. So people who are
- 18:44in office right now, man, they have been in office for decades.
- 18:47The judge of Route on my case on January I mean July of seventeenth,
- 18:51for the same judge of Route on my case in nineteen ninety three, so
- 18:55here's the problem. He denies me without notifying me in nineteen ninety three,
- 19:00I can't be de nine and need he ben did it again right now in
- 19:03twenty twenty three. Just a denin a civil laws So I'm think million dollars
- 19:07civil law too that I follow and didn't nobody tell me anything now, So
- 19:11that right there deprives us of the rights to appeal to the harcourt. So
- 19:15we asking for the Taking's Attorney General now to make a request to the United
- 19:21States Department of Justine. You don't are the only one to come down here
- 19:25and do a thorough investigation because the FBI, I'm not gonna do it.
- 19:30Nobody isn't want to nobody accountable down here, man, nobody. They can't
- 19:34hold each other accountable. They can't hold each other accountable because all of them
- 19:38got their hands in it. Because I keep asking this question about the parole
- 19:45Board, the makeup of the parole board, and who authorized them to blackout
- 19:51and to block out those numbers, so you don't know what's going on.
- 19:53Who authorized that? Can any of the representative, any congress person, anybody
- 20:00tell me who authorized that to be taking place? So that people don't know
- 20:03what's going on. And then a lot of this stuff is supposed to be
- 20:07public record, it's not. It's not public record. People don't know what's
- 20:11going on until they've been denied. Okay, man, a good point to
- 20:18be made. Man, Look, I proposed the point. I exposed the
- 20:21punch system. My name is Clil Thomas. And what I did I wrote
- 20:23an article and a lot of people didn't even realize that they was a part
- 20:26of the punch system. See in nineteen eighty five, and which is what
- 20:30the governor now. She had the minatory release, which means that your worktime,
- 20:34plast time, good times. People still mauld hostellers. That means that
- 20:37they have to let you go. The parole boys then have no dispression.
- 20:41But when she came out of office, they changed it and gave the parole
- 20:45boards from POWERM. So when they gave the parole board POWERM, it was
- 20:48still under the Texas Total prol Patigions, which is a legislated and acted mind
- 20:52aatory release. So the parole board SAI, well wait a minute, let's
- 20:56go over here to the executive branch of government. That way we can't be
- 21:00sued. We can do whatever we want doing can't nobody challenge us. So
- 21:04that's from the legislators allowed for to take the Board Department of Paroles to go
- 21:07to the executive branch of government, which means that now the legislators have given
- 21:12from the Parole Board more power than they have given themselves to what that being
- 21:18said, the Parole Board took it upon themselves that when they consider a person
- 21:22for paroles, what they are doing behind the scenes is blocking out the points
- 21:26system numbers, which means that when they did away with the with the minetaris
- 21:30and provision, they came in with the points which means that if you are
- 21:37a low risk, you should deserve parole, if you're a moderate risk,
- 21:41you'll possibly deserve parole. If you're a high risk, you're not entitled to
- 21:45parole. To what the parole board numbers are done, who are being elected
- 21:48by Governor Greg Abbott or a police officer, district attorneys, judges and everything.
- 21:55The legislators have I mean the governor have given them the powers to block
- 21:57out the punt system number without orderfying the individual of the number. So now
- 22:03they can be set off up to fifteen twenty times. So that's what's going
- 22:07on. So missus Hilma Allen. She made a letter to the governor them
- 22:11for a composition of the role. But here it is, she don't want
- 22:15to do nothing about it. I brought it to her about the punt system,
- 22:19but they don't. I want to clean nothing, ma'am. So we
- 22:25don't know whom to you know, we hold accountable. Ain't nobody owning,
- 22:27nobody accountable. But you got all these elected officials. You got all these
- 22:33elect officials that ran on cleaning up corruption, that ran on re re reforming
- 22:41the judicial system, reforming TDCJ. You know a lot of things these people
- 22:47ran on, and they're not upholding their end of the bargain. You said
- 22:52that you was gonna do this, You said you was gonna do that.
- 22:55You get in office and then you don't uphold your end of the bargain.
- 23:00It makes no sense to me. It really makes no sense to me.
- 23:04I just don't get it. I don't get the State of Texas, like
- 23:10they fighting for everything that don't make sense. Like I don't get y'all.
- 23:14I don't get y'all. Governor, you know the prisons are overflowing, that
- 23:18the prisons are overcrowded and understaff you talk about the the the escape on two
- 23:27weeks ago, you talk about the the the Johnny's. Every every seem like
- 23:36it seemed like every day y'all getting a Johnney? What what is going on
- 23:41with the hot meals? And it's just a lot, And it's like everybody
- 23:45is just sitting and pushing the blame off on somebody else. They all want
- 23:49to say, jurisdiction, Well, who got jurisdiction? Everything is a jurisdiction.
- 23:55This a jurisdiction that. Okay, well we did. Somebody need to
- 24:00draw a jurisdiction line so people know where their jurisdiction is so that they can
- 24:03handle their business. Okay, that's true. That is true. Well,
- 24:10ma'am, here's the problem here. The state of texts has crumbled so bad,
- 24:14ma'am. Good mind yourself, ma'am. I have been in prison for
- 24:17a long time now, and I have studied the prison system. I've studied
- 24:19the roleboard. And believe me, ma'am, me now looking at the prison
- 24:22system now it has corona to the bottom. And here it is. They're
- 24:26still trying to hold and maintain little programs and stuff like this, but the
- 24:30governor is not sponsoring these programs. They don't have no money, they don't
- 24:34have no teachers. Now right now over in the school we got they got
- 24:38inmates running the classrooms. Me myself is running a class, a class called
- 24:44campus culture for some inmates. Who are we trying to change the mindset of
- 24:48tections for the inmates because these officers, in these directors in the rowboard system,
- 24:53and nobody is trying to help these individuals realabilitate themselves. BELI actually,
- 25:00the state of Texas do not believe in rebilitation. That's one. They don't
- 25:03believe in rebilitation. They believe that you supposed to come and do hard man
- 25:10or free labor. They believe in the thirteenth Amendment. They believe in the
- 25:15free servitude. They believe in that. They believe in sending you out to
- 25:21do a full job and to work a job that other people do, just
- 25:27like some of these other states. You got six other states that do the
- 25:32same thing. They do not believe in paying their their prisoners. You talk
- 25:37about the state of Alabama, and they right now have a class action lawsuit.
- 25:42The prisoners have a class action lawsuit against the State of Alabama because they
- 25:51took them to McDonald's Burger King, different places to work. And these people
- 25:56work full forty hours and got paid who sometime three dollars a week for work?
- 26:03Who got the rest of that money? Yeah, And that's what's happening
- 26:07in the state of Texas and a lot of these other states. Why do
- 26:11you think the state of Texas have you you you you look at how many
- 26:18different companies are coming to the State of Texas, and then you look at
- 26:22the amount of companies that are that are getting labor and and and and have
- 26:26different things that are ran through the prison system. We can we can name
- 26:32different names. You talk about Victoria's Secret, you talk about bathroom body Works,
- 26:37you talk about Starbucks, Walgreens, and the lists go on and own
- 26:42and own Walmart. The different different companies are making money off of prisons and
- 26:52the prisoners for free. Well, we won't talk about the State of Texas
- 26:56running their their tag shop. Every every every tag that is produced in the
- 27:03State of Texas come out of a prison and nobody get but they make they
- 27:12make bookoo money off of it every year from the taxpayer. So you tell
- 27:17me taxpayers taxpayers are already paying to to to to to help house the inmates.
- 27:26Then they got to pay for the tax that the inmates are making for
- 27:29free. Well, who backing the money off of the of the tax.
- 27:33Now that's what we need to be chasing. We need to be chasing some
- 27:36of these these money trails and seeing who are getting kickbacks from these companies that
- 27:41are that are getting this free labor from all of these prisoners. People got
- 27:45to start doing their research. People got to start getting involved. People got
- 27:48to start going to their local city council meetings. They got to start seeing
- 27:53what's going on within their local police departments. Because it started our all this
- 28:00start local. These people see what they can get away with locally, and
- 28:03then they start going. They started going state wide, and then they started
- 28:07going national. Y'all, I'm telling you, well, I can tell you
- 28:12this, ma'am. We want to thank you very much, ma'am, because
- 28:15you have been pushing now, you have been pushing for the Free Texas campaign.
- 28:19You have been exposing a lot of information about the corruption, about the
- 28:23TDCJ, about everybody, about the statement representative, the governor, Attorney General
- 28:30offer. Ma'am. We thank you very much, ma'am. You have been
- 28:33a game changer for all of this for us and We love you for that
- 28:38because without you, ma'am, we don't want have a voice. That's our
- 28:44problem down here. We don't have a voice. Why because people are scared
- 28:47to stand up against the Texas governor. Why we don't have no idea.
- 28:51But ma'am, since they're the PARC and the Free Texas campaign, the Crew
- 28:55podcast, whatever. Now, believe you, ma'am, you have none great
- 28:57and we'll appreciate you that. We cannot thank you enough. Ma'am. You
- 29:02have killing a lot of people hope, now a lot of us. I'm
- 29:06talking about the juvenile, the mail inmates. Ma'am. You have given enough
- 29:10hope. You've given our family hopes because you are standing up for us.
- 29:14This is something that we don't have. And we want to thank you very
- 29:17much, ma'am for everything that you do. And yes, ma'am, thank
- 29:19you again. And now, like I said, right now, because you
- 29:23New York government has to an issue or release for countless for inmates up there
- 29:27because he feels that they have been rehabilitated. So now with that being said,
- 29:33we want to welcome our governor. Feel like you don't have no power
- 29:37to issue an emergency release or any type of relief for inmates who have been
- 29:41rehabilitated. It it may to completed tool grounds and got mound to degrees.
- 29:45And why he won't issue no order like that down here, man, because
- 29:49it's all about money. It's all about money. You want to know why,
- 29:53because he's sending eleven million dollars. They sending eleven million dollars to the
- 29:59state of missis Sippy to house prisoners so that they can keep getting this money
- 30:03for these prisoners that here. They're still gonna be listed in the state of
- 30:07Texas, so they'll still be getting paid for Texas, but they're gonna be
- 30:10housed over in Mississippi. So they're paying Mississippi eleven million dollars to go over
- 30:15there and to be housed over there. But then you want to pass a
- 30:19new law that will be able to to to to arrest immigrants, and they
- 30:30finish start racially profiling, because how you gonna know who's an immigrant and who's
- 30:33not an immigrant if you don't racially profile them. So they about to start
- 30:37racially Okay, they're gonna start racially profiling individuals so that they can get these
- 30:44people arrested, get them in prison. That's what's happening. He passed the
- 30:48law so that he could have immigrants arrested, prisoners already overflowing. If you
- 30:57got to spend eleven minutes dollars to send these people to another state, why
- 31:03you cannot let these people go home. Let these people go home. I'm
- 31:07sure there are some eligible people that can go home and that has done their
- 31:15time. A lot of these people, a lot of these people that are
- 31:18in Priests Lacke of prison have been in prison for over twenty years. A
- 31:22lot of these kids, a lot of them were kids when they went in.
- 31:26They were juveniles, and y'all over sentenced them when you gave them their
- 31:33sentences from the beginning. But now a lot of these people have been incarcerated
- 31:37over twenty years, and the way y'all do them, who would want to
- 31:41go back to a system like that? Give these people a chance, Give
- 31:45these people a chance to come on and to live the rest of what life
- 31:49they have. You're looking at people that's in their late forties, fifty sixty,
- 31:53seventy years old. Some of these people are in wheelchairs. Some of
- 31:56these people cannot even walk. Some of these people are walking with with with
- 32:00two sticks. What are they gonna do besides come want to come home and
- 32:06live what life they have left. You've already taken half of their life,
- 32:13most of them, you took most of them there their twenties and thirties.
- 32:16Because you're talking about I'm looking at fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen year
- 32:21olds that you're giving life capital life sentences to. But then adults that that
- 32:28dragged these kids alone with them to commit these crimes. They getting off.
- 32:32They're getting to come home in twenty years and in twenty five years, which
- 32:37is I mean, it's just outrageous to me. I don't understand it.
- 32:42I don't get it. And then I'm just asking the governor. Governor,
- 32:49Abbot, you have the power to set these people free. You have the
- 32:54power to call for an executive order, a meeting, it released to allow
- 33:00these people to go home. There are people that are eligible. You talk
- 33:05about individuals that have completed everything that you offer. They are facilitating classes,
- 33:13they are coming up with curriculum and putting curriculum together. Because y'all are not
- 33:17doing anything to real abilitate these people. Y'all have taken every opportunity that these
- 33:24people had to a real ability tate themselves out of the system. You can
- 33:30go very very few facilities and you will find where there is programs in place.
- 33:38The programs that you do have in place, a lot of them.
- 33:42They no good to the people by the time they do get out. Because
- 33:46you talk about the different programs that you have, you don't offer them nothing.
- 33:52You're not offering any type of mental health. Who you suicide, you
- 33:58can suicide. Watch are the are your in size and the people that can
- 34:04walk around and people that have work. They little inmates. Inmates are doing
- 34:08a lot of the correctional officers jobs. They're not getting paid for. You
- 34:15give them a little title called life coach, and then you want to make
- 34:21them do do what correctional officers are supposed to be doing. But we need
- 34:25license professionals that can handle these mental health crisis within these prison systems because there's
- 34:31a lot of suicides. There's a lot of suicides that go on spoken about.
- 34:38We don't even know about it. If if if I'm telling you,
- 34:42if these individuals were not coming on this podcast and sharing this with me,
- 34:46I would not know because it never reached the media. There's so much that
- 34:51go on within these Texas judicial system and TDCJ that we don't hear about in
- 34:55them. You you don't hear about all this stuff until it hit the fan.
- 35:04Like it's so much been going on over there at Clemmens. Nobody knew
- 35:08nothing about what and it's still a lot of stuff is being swept under the
- 35:14rug even after the escape. But a lot of this stuff the escape probably
- 35:17could have been avoided if y'all have been doing your job and listening to what
- 35:23those inmates over there have been saying. But y'all don't want to do that.
- 35:28Y'all don't want to do that. Y'all don't want to do that.
- 35:31But mister Carnell, I really want you to speak on what some of the
- 35:45things that you have noticed that have gotten worse within TDCJ since you have been
- 35:53incarcerated. I know you've been there three decades, so you have seen a
- 36:00lot and come in contact with a lot. So it seemed like to me
- 36:07you would have a a i on if this is if any of the stuff
- 36:14that they're doing is working, if anything is improving, or if it's getting
- 36:16worse. So give us a little insight, Okay, ma'am, that's a
- 36:22good man. Like you said, I've been coming to prison for a long
- 36:28time, man, And like you say, ma'am, I have seen so
- 36:30much as far as like the differences in the federal government running the Texas prisical
- 36:35system of opposed to the state officials running the Texas prisonal system. Now it's
- 36:39like if the things made sure that everything was in line. We used to
- 36:43have outside entities coming in and checking on the in, checking on the office
- 36:49to make sure everything was being run right. I mean, the medical department
- 36:52was run righte. Everybody did what they're supposed to do. That's when your
- 36:57good time plant to work time equal them, like the sir, it makes
- 37:22suicide at the highest people I'm talking about, givity is at the high.
- 37:36I mean that you got any over that. That'sack of the move stream y'all
- 40:53be owner boy, y'all. When it started getting good and stuff started going
- 40:58like they man, they I'll tell you, y'all, Amazon and stream Yard,
- 41:05Honey, you get to talking about Texas more. These people get they
- 41:07don't like that, but I'm telling you it was good. They don't.
- 41:10Yeah, they don't, y'all. They keep me all the way out.
- 41:15I'm talking about both computers. They both computers that keep me off both computers,
- 41:20y'all. I'm man, they keep me off both computers. But it's
- 41:24all good because that's what we don't stop. We don't stop. We don't
- 41:29we don't stop over here, like I really want you two to to.
- 42:15Oh. Yeah, they shouldn't be in food the inmates are consuming. Shouldn't
- 42:22be no worms, shouldn't be no kind of word, kind of nothing in
- 42:27food that peopce to consume. It shouldn't be happening. So I don't care
- 42:32if they can get mad like they get mad, get glad, and they
- 42:37can stretch your ass if they want to. H Okay, okay, if
- 42:44you out, no, we all know. But we keep going in and
- 42:47out because that's what they're doing. Okay, ma'am that's that's the problem,
- 42:57ma'am Maroula is talking about. Okay. On the kitchen, they found the
- 43:19members of stuff like this and a complain of Lade to Thomas of the two
- 43:24free texting campaign and Missus Smith. She did send an email to these people
- 43:30and yes, now a team of audience teacher was just first to the McConnell
- 43:36unit and to the Comum units to check on the issue that she was complaining
- 43:39about. About words then and the beach, and come to find out now
- 43:44an email was dispersed and they said that they had corrected as the problem over
- 43:47there on the McConell unit and over here on the John become a unit.
- 43:52But come to find out now nothing has changed. These people are still doing
- 43:55the same thing over here. The food is that. And with that being
- 44:00said, Samn, you know, like I said, ma'am, you are
- 44:01game changing and we need that support that you have, ma'am because if not
- 44:06without it, now, guess what these people do anything they want to do
- 44:08to um and then get away with it. And that's what they have been
- 44:12doing. But what needs to happen, what needs to happen is everybody need
- 44:16to get family members involved. These families need to speak up and speak out.
- 44:21You can't be quiet, not when you got family that is behind these
- 44:25walls. You have to speak up and speak out. You cannot be silent.
- 44:30You cannot be quiet because these people are betting on individuals to not have
- 44:36family members that will speak up and speak out. That that's what they betted
- 44:40on, because guess what, then they can throw you to the wolves.
- 44:44Then they can do whatever they want to do and they don't have nobody to
- 44:46answer to because guess what, ain't nobody checking on you and nobody and nobody,
- 44:52ain't nobody caring, Ain't nobody doing on wellness check? Aint nobody calling
- 44:58the unbuzzed? When ain't nobody calling the region or ain't nobody calling the executive
- 45:01offices? Ain't nobody complaining? So that's what they want, that's what they
- 45:07want. So I'm urging those family members that have incarcerated family members to get
- 45:13involved. Rite your legislation, righte, your congressman, righte, your local
- 45:19representative. Let them know what's going on inside of these prison walls, because
- 45:24guess what, if enough people speak up and speak out, it cannot continue
- 45:30to go the same way. Ain't no way they can continue to allow stuff
- 45:35to go on if people are speaking up and demanding for change. But if
- 45:39nobody, if nobody speak up and speak out, it's gonna continue. You
- 45:44see what has happened for the last three to four decades. The last three
- 45:49to four decades, things have been the same. And not only that,
- 45:52these people got to speak up and speak out when they go to vote.
- 45:54Get some of these people out of office that's not doing what they're supposed to
- 45:58do, not doing what they supposed to do. Get them out of office,
- 46:01Tad Cruise, your day is coming. They they they coming for you,
- 46:06sir, know that they coming for you. They coming for your position.
- 46:09And a lot of them that ain't doing what they're supposed to do,
- 46:14they need to be out of office. We need to get the people in
- 46:17office that's gonna do what they're supposed to do. And if they run on
- 46:21these platforms and and say they gonna do this, and say they gonna do
- 46:23that, and don't do it when they get in office, then you need
- 46:27to get them up out of that. Okay, man, okay, push
- 46:30you said that. Look man, right now, here's the things that can
- 46:34happen right now that your people would stand up for it. Now it can
- 46:37happen. This is needed to release a dollar in number one, the couple
- 46:43of texts going to parse the paroles blocking out that point to number. What
- 46:46we need to do and what our family should do right now is the contact
- 46:52the Texas Senate and contact them the governor, attack them who have allowed for
- 46:58the parole for us to block out. That number is for anybody who has
- 47:01had the number blockout. Two of the vot five ten twelve terms, those
- 47:06individuals should have immediate release right now with the order by the governor for immediate
- 47:12release, because that right there is the conflict of interest whether the parole board
- 47:15numbers its former district attorneys, formal judge's, former police officers, and these
- 47:21people are being utilized by the judicial graduate government to flock out that number to
- 47:27keep an individual incarcerated it even longer. Okay, that's one number two man.
- 47:32The Law Party, the Texas Law Party, is the point to where
- 47:36if it is an individual server time for a crime they did not commit that
- 47:39somebody else committed it. But these people are being held criminal responsible for the
- 47:44conduct of numbers. But what happened is that that was no telling us to
- 47:47prove that this individual committed the crime. So what Texas did? Texas said,
- 47:52well, you can't challenge the law party, but what we're gonna do
- 47:55is lock you up because we can anticipate that you had some type of action
- 48:00or some type of knowledge about the crime being community. So what ends up
- 48:06happening now was this, You got tens of thousands of texts to the inmates
- 48:09of here under the text Law Party, even on death Road, even the
- 48:14capital's juvenile life sentences. Now these individuals are locked up behind them all parties.
- 48:20So what happens now If the Texas governor would go ahead and say,
- 48:23well, we're gonna take and do the election to the jury charge right now,
- 48:28that means that the jury charge is no good because the jury could not
- 48:30have legally found an individual guilty as a party to acquaintum that there's no evidence
- 48:36to support. That's number true. Our grant jury racreteering is bad. We
- 48:43have a grand jury process there here. Manwell, we don't have no access
- 48:46to knowing who's on my grand jury. Not only that, they ruther staffing
- 48:50indictments. So you got people being prosecuted in this state on indictments man that
- 48:54there's no evidence. There's nobody going to the grand jury. Another restaurants are
- 49:00the same thing. They're not even being signed by the justice of the peace.
- 49:04You got thousands of people sitting in prison without probable cause. Now they
- 49:07are for without probable cause. The conviction is no good. They have to
- 49:12let these people go. Matter fact. In Houston for now, dead versus
- 49:16the City of Houston was the case. The godfil of class actual losses against
- 49:22Houston because thousands of inmates to be a thousands of people have been arrested and
- 49:25consecuted for climes without probable cause. And this is the problem here all the
- 49:30way in the state of Texas, but not this Texas but elsewhere. But
- 49:34it's a lot of issues here. Man, in the state of Texas.
- 49:37Taken enter these prison systems out, the governor condition emergency release right now,
- 49:42can hinstry our prison systems out and relieve the county jails of all the overcrowded
- 49:46that they have, and just not only just that man, but he it.
- 49:51You got people that's in there, professional needs, people that can't walk,
- 49:53people that don't have harms, people that got chum on the counsel.
- 49:58The government condition emergency relief for them to put them o hoss in the free
- 50:02world. That would that would relieve a lot of stuff on them. But
- 50:07is where we at. Our governor don't want to do none of them.
- 50:09And I stay represent senators, ma'am. They are not doing anything to help
- 50:15us get these issues passed. They're just ticking the can down the road every
- 50:20two years. So that's where we're at. So I can say, well,
- 50:25I definitely I want to thank you for stopping by and sharing with us
- 50:30on today. It's not over the they it's just beginning. And I remind
- 50:38the people of the State of Texas and those that are tuned in on tonight,
- 50:44imagine the state where justice is not blind, but rather whereas a blindfold
- 50:50that has been corrupted by greed and power. A state where the very institution
- 50:55that's meant to uphold the law have by the root of corruption. Welcome to
- 51:05the Great State of Texas. Or the parole board and other aspects of the
- 51:10judicial system have become a breeding ground for dishonesty and injustice. Do we want
- 51:16that I employ the citizens of the Great State of Texas to stand up,
- 51:24to be a voice, to speak up, and to speak out. I
- 51:29want to thank you guys for tuning in tonight to another episode of The Crew
- 51:32Podcast, Episode one seventy nine. Y'all, I am excited about season two
- 51:43that's gonna be coming up. I tell you, I have truly truly enjoyed
- 51:46working with these amazing individuals and me having the opportunity to come from behind the
- 51:52scene over these last couple of months and to really share y'all know those that
- 51:57follow me and support the things that I do. I'm very passionate about the
- 52:01things that I do. This was dropped in my spirit, this was dropped
- 52:07in my lap. I can't let it go. I won't let it go,
- 52:09and I believe in giving one hundred percent when I do do something.
- 52:15So know that I am here, I'm supporting, and I will continue to
- 52:20bring awareness to this situation. Every day I google corruption in the state of
- 52:27Texas, and every day there's something new that pops up. There's something new
- 52:31that pops up that I didn't know. But I'm telling you if you want
- 52:37to know really what's going on, just google corruption in say Texas. Now
- 52:40we mentioned we've been talking about the parole board. Sixty percent of the people
- 52:45that come up for parole are denied, y'all. Denied, So what what's
- 52:52happening to the other forty percent? Forty percent are being released and end up
- 52:59back in prison because they commit another crime. Why, because they shouldn't have
- 53:05been released from the beginning. You look at the pattern that they are producing
- 53:09when they release these inmates. They say, if you don't get a major
- 53:15crime, then you are manipulating the system. Huh wow, that's something to
- 53:21think about, y'all. Again, I thank you guys for tuning in.
- 53:24I thank mister Cornell for stopping by and sharing with me on tonight. If
- 53:30y'all would please share this in your circle of influence, because you never know
- 53:34what the next person may be in need of, and you never know when
- 53:37someone may be in this situation and something that we've shared on this show may
- 53:42help them out. So y'all, we will see y'all back here on tomorrow
- 53:46night. We have someone, y'all. We're always on. We're on every
- 53:52night eight pm Easter Standard time. We will be taking a break December thirty
- 53:57first. It's be all last show. January the first through the thirty first,
- 54:01we will be on break as we prepare and get ready for season two.
- 54:07So again, y'all, have a great night. Thank you for tuning
- 54:13in. See you back here tomorrow, see you back here the rest of
- 54:15this week. Y'all join us the rest of this week until the thirty first,
- 54:20until we close out, because tomorrow night, you don't want to miss.

- 54:36tune in tomorrow night, eight pm, Easter Center Time. I am the
- 54:39Queen that collaboration, and guess what, I love you guys, and there's
- 54:43nothing you can do about it. Y'all. Be blessed, be blessed,
- 54:46be blessed, and I hope that you had a merry Christmas. Y
