87 00:04:37,960 --> 00:04:42,960 Because Cody now feels Roman level 2 protected. 88 00:04:43,800 --> 00:04:46,360 Did it take away from the match itself in your opinion? 89 00:04:46,360 --> 00:04:54,240 - I don't like weird finishes. 90 00:04:54,240 --> 00:04:56,680 I don't mind the interference finishes. 91 00:04:56,680 --> 00:04:59,360 I don't mind chicaneery. 92 00:04:59,360 --> 00:05:00,680 I don't mind the low blow. 93 00:05:00,680 --> 00:05:01,680 I don't mind so like that. 94 00:05:01,680 --> 00:05:05,720 But isn't this the same finish almost that Gunther had 95 00:05:05,720 --> 00:05:08,200 with Randy Orton a few years ago? 96 00:05:08,200 --> 00:05:10,640 Just like it's weird, the foot's under the robe, 97 00:05:10,640 --> 00:05:12,160 and it's like the referee does. 98 00:05:12,160 --> 00:05:14,200 Like those ones I hate. 99 00:05:14,200 --> 00:05:19,280 I don't know if it, I guess yeah, it took away from the match 100 00:05:19,280 --> 00:05:21,240 'cause it was a fantastic match. 101 00:05:21,240 --> 00:05:23,120 And then the finish felt just a little bit off. 102 00:05:23,120 --> 00:05:26,360 I don't, I saw people burying the match though 103 00:05:26,360 --> 00:05:29,960 because I always say the match was just trash 104 00:05:29,960 --> 00:05:32,840 because of the finish, but yeah, it's like, come on. 105 00:05:32,840 --> 00:05:34,880 Like you're protecting Cody, 106 00:05:34,880 --> 00:05:36,440 you're trying to protect Gunther, 107 00:05:36,440 --> 00:05:37,440 and it's just like yeah, 108 00:05:37,440 --> 00:05:39,560 like there could have been a better way to get to that 109 00:05:39,560 --> 00:05:43,440 other than just that awkward clunkiness to it. 110 00:05:43,440 --> 00:05:45,840 - Yeah, it was clunky and I mean, 111 00:05:45,840 --> 00:05:47,280 we talked about it on last week's show. 112 00:05:47,280 --> 00:05:51,960 My concern was how this will, 113 00:05:51,960 --> 00:05:54,840 how did they, how did they gotta go forward with this match 114 00:05:54,840 --> 00:05:58,840 with two well protected stars in Gunther and Cody Rhodes? 115 00:05:58,840 --> 00:06:01,280 And I think you look at it and you're like, okay, 116 00:06:01,280 --> 00:06:04,480 well this the finish basically is leading to a second match. 117 00:06:04,480 --> 00:06:06,360 But I don't know if I want to see a second match 118 00:06:06,360 --> 00:06:07,720 between these two guys. 119 00:06:07,720 --> 00:06:11,080 It is felt like based on some things that we're seeing, 120 00:06:11,080 --> 00:06:13,240 reading how it's all worked out. 121 00:06:13,240 --> 00:06:16,440 This was not the original creative we're led to believe 122 00:06:16,440 --> 00:06:19,520 is that this is just basically a period of time, 123 00:06:19,520 --> 00:06:23,120 two top stars where you're just kind of putting them 124 00:06:23,120 --> 00:06:24,680 both in a holding pattern. 125 00:06:24,680 --> 00:06:28,520 So I mean Cody wins, but Gunther's foot was under the rope, 126 00:06:28,520 --> 00:06:32,040 so he really didn't lose because Gunther doesn't lose 127 00:06:32,040 --> 00:06:33,640 one-on-one matches. 128 00:06:33,640 --> 00:06:36,720 He only loses when he has a championship. 129 00:06:37,720 --> 00:06:40,440 It's very, very rare and I wish that statistic 130 00:06:40,440 --> 00:06:43,920 was kind of showcase a little bit more to the importance of it. 131 00:06:43,920 --> 00:06:45,840 The finish was very confusing. 132 00:06:45,840 --> 00:06:49,040 I mean I watched it and it just felt like it was something was off, 133 00:06:49,040 --> 00:06:52,160 like almost the referee miscounted to a degree 134 00:06:52,160 --> 00:06:56,200 and then they sold it where the camera angle was kind of out of place 135 00:06:56,200 --> 00:06:59,360 and you see his foot's under the rope and then they pulls the leg back. 136 00:06:59,360 --> 00:07:02,640 And even though he's the top baby face, Cody does these things 137 00:07:02,640 --> 00:07:06,680 that are very healish where I think in maybe a different world 138 00:07:06,680 --> 00:07:11,320 wrestling fans wouldn't love and respect him as the QB1 of the company, 139 00:07:11,320 --> 00:07:16,280 which is very odd right now because actually there are two top men's world champions 140 00:07:16,280 --> 00:07:20,920 which are arguably their two top baby faces have some healish tendencies, 141 00:07:20,920 --> 00:07:23,720 but this is that gray area you talk about, Dr. Trey. 142 00:07:23,720 --> 00:07:27,360 It was a disappointing match overall for me. 143 00:07:27,360 --> 00:07:31,000 I just, the controversial finish I did not love it all. 144 00:07:33,000 --> 00:07:36,840 Yes, I actually really enjoyed the match up until the finish. 145 00:07:36,840 --> 00:07:37,840 Agreed. 146 00:07:37,840 --> 00:07:40,920 And maybe I'm into my orbit like I was like, "This is really good." 147 00:07:40,920 --> 00:07:44,440 And you know that contrasting styles, 148 00:07:44,440 --> 00:07:46,280 but then when you do it ending like that, 149 00:07:46,280 --> 00:07:49,480 especially I don't know if you watched the triple A show, 150 00:07:49,480 --> 00:07:54,200 but they're hyping up like how good the referees are doing, 151 00:07:54,200 --> 00:07:55,960 you know, in certain matches like, 152 00:07:55,960 --> 00:08:00,200 "Oh, he paused his count to make sure the shoulder was fully down 153 00:08:00,200 --> 00:08:03,800 before he counted three." Like they're hyping out the performance 154 00:08:03,800 --> 00:08:07,320 and they always want to play up like how good the referees are, 155 00:08:07,320 --> 00:08:11,000 but then it's like you get a finish like this and it's just like, 156 00:08:11,000 --> 00:08:14,920 "Oh, he just did a scene." It's like, "Well no, that's literally his job." 157 00:08:14,920 --> 00:08:19,320 Like the referee's job is to be down in a position, 158 00:08:19,320 --> 00:08:23,800 especially when a wrestler's limb can reach the ropes 159 00:08:23,800 --> 00:08:27,080 where he can see that and see the shoulders like that's, 160 00:08:27,080 --> 00:08:31,160 you're almost bearing the referee in stuff like that. 161 00:08:31,160 --> 00:08:33,320 And I can't remember who the referee was, 162 00:08:33,320 --> 00:08:37,240 but it's like you're making the ref look stupid. 163 00:08:37,240 --> 00:08:42,200 And then that means that leads to like the credibility of the referee 164 00:08:42,200 --> 00:08:43,640 and that can affect matches down the road. 165 00:08:43,640 --> 00:08:46,440 Like we're seeing that later on in the show with the Jessica Karshto. 166 00:08:46,440 --> 00:08:49,640 Like I don't want my refs looking stupid. 167 00:08:49,640 --> 00:08:54,360 I want my refs to be basically invisible the entire match, 168 00:08:54,360 --> 00:08:57,560 you know, because the attention should be on the match 169 00:08:57,560 --> 00:09:01,000 and what the guys in the ring are doing and not the actual referee. 170 00:09:01,000 --> 00:09:02,840 So it took away from the match. 171 00:09:02,840 --> 00:09:06,760 I would like, if it was a, you know, if you were saying that it was going to be a four 172 00:09:06,760 --> 00:09:11,880 and a half star match, but the finish took it down to maybe like a 3.75 or a four. 173 00:09:11,880 --> 00:09:17,160 Next match here is Rhea Ripley defeating Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women's Championship. 174 00:09:17,160 --> 00:09:18,760 We both had Rhea Ripley in this one. 175 00:09:18,760 --> 00:09:24,120 I thought this was one of if not the best Jade Cargill in-ring performance ever. 176 00:09:24,360 --> 00:09:28,360 Dr. Tre is her in-ring performance criticism behind her. 177 00:09:28,360 --> 00:09:31,240 I feel like this is something we've talked about or at least I brought up here now. 178 00:09:31,240 --> 00:09:35,160 Several matches of hers is the in-ring performance criticism behind her. 179 00:09:35,160 --> 00:09:38,120 I'm going to say so. 180 00:09:38,120 --> 00:09:38,840 I was going to ask you. 181 00:09:38,840 --> 00:09:41,480 I didn't know where you were going to go when you were kind of recap the match. 182 00:09:41,480 --> 00:09:44,120 I thought this was Jade's best match also. 183 00:09:44,120 --> 00:09:49,880 And Rhea is not known for being a great in-ring performer like she's solid. 184 00:09:49,880 --> 00:09:53,800 But like if you're someone like who can carry somebody through a match, 185 00:09:53,800 --> 00:09:55,320 Rhea is not at the top of our list. 186 00:09:55,320 --> 00:09:59,960 So Jade had to do her part in this match and she did really well. 187 00:09:59,960 --> 00:10:06,200 I will say she's now been in the business five years, six years, somewhere there. 188 00:10:06,200 --> 00:10:07,000 Yeah, 2020. 189 00:10:07,000 --> 00:10:10,920 At this point you should be pretty solid in the ring at least. 190 00:10:10,920 --> 00:10:13,400 At least be able to carry your own. 191 00:10:13,400 --> 00:10:19,400 I think she's at that level now and she's all with the look, the promo ability. 192 00:10:19,400 --> 00:10:26,680 And now she's getting the in-ring ability like she's a bankable star that they can lean on for the next five to ten years. 193 00:10:26,680 --> 00:10:28,680 Whatever they want to get you know credit. 194 00:10:28,680 --> 00:10:33,320 And look, we still have not gotten our dream match of Bianca and Jade. 195 00:10:33,320 --> 00:10:36,440 And it's still probably a year or two away from happening. 196 00:10:36,440 --> 00:10:39,080 So like that's still we got to get to. 197 00:10:39,080 --> 00:10:44,280 So yeah, my van she's going to be even better because she's really putting in the war. 198 00:10:44,280 --> 00:10:47,800 You can see that she's putting in the work to get better. 199 00:10:48,920 --> 00:10:53,640 I hate using this comparison but she's kind of Nikki Bella, you know, in this sense of like 200 00:10:53,640 --> 00:10:58,600 was not growing the ring had everything else you wanted and then got better and better. 201 00:10:58,600 --> 00:11:05,960 She's just looks more like a pro wrestler than Nikki Bella ever did but yeah, I can't, I can't, 202 00:11:05,960 --> 00:11:09,480 I can't knock Jade for being a bad wrestler anymore. 203 00:11:09,480 --> 00:11:11,640 So crap, that sucks. 204 00:11:11,640 --> 00:11:15,960 I like that was my go-to for a long time but now she's actually pretty decent. 205 00:11:15,960 --> 00:11:20,040 Yeah, and it looks like they're shifting her now towards an eventual feud here with Charlotte Flair 206 00:11:20,040 --> 00:11:22,840 which I think is a dream match. 207 00:11:22,840 --> 00:11:28,440 I mean, even during her time in A.W., while she was kind of learning as she went in professional wrestling. 208 00:11:28,440 --> 00:11:32,600 A lot of people felt that a Charlotte Flair match with her at some point was at least from a visual 209 00:11:32,600 --> 00:11:37,640 standpoint on the table and now that the in-ring stuff is there, I think it's going to be very 210 00:11:37,640 --> 00:11:39,560 exciting to see this and I think it's based. 211 00:11:39,560 --> 00:11:45,880 It looks like it's lining up for Summerslam but it could be sooner rather 212 00:11:45,880 --> 00:11:50,680 than later depending on how they fill out that night of Champions card and also Saturday nights 213 00:11:50,680 --> 00:11:54,040 in the main event in New York City in mid-July. 214 00:11:54,040 --> 00:11:57,800 Next match here is Brock Lesnar defeating Oba Femme. 215 00:11:57,800 --> 00:11:59,960 We both had Brock Lesnar in this one. 216 00:11:59,960 --> 00:12:05,160 Loved the entrance of Brock Lesnar, the Italian fans singing his theme song. 217 00:12:05,160 --> 00:12:11,320 It's a shame that it feels like his career is coming to an end here because that is something 218 00:12:11,320 --> 00:12:15,160 that I think could have lasted now the rest of his career or fans getting behind that. 219 00:12:15,160 --> 00:12:20,920 He clearly ate it up and was having a fun time so that was pretty cool to see him get hyped up for that. 220 00:12:20,920 --> 00:12:27,160 Is this a good thing though, Dr. Trey, to get Oba's first loss on the main roster out of the way? 221 00:12:27,160 --> 00:12:32,120 I believe his only other WWE TV loss came against Tony DiAngelo in NXT when he dropped the 222 00:12:32,120 --> 00:12:37,080 North American Championship. Is this a good thing that we finally got the first main roster loss 223 00:12:37,080 --> 00:12:39,640 out of the way rather than having them run rough shot as undefeated? 224 00:12:40,840 --> 00:12:46,920 Yeah, and I mentioned that it's probably a couple weeks ago but you have to get that law. 225 00:12:46,920 --> 00:12:50,520 You have to make Oba look like he is defeatable. 226 00:12:50,520 --> 00:12:58,600 Now yeah, it took what 37 F5s and like 5 tables and a low blow to, I mean it's crazy how many things 227 00:12:58,600 --> 00:13:04,760 that Brock had to do put him down but you have to put a chink in the armor of every performer. 228 00:13:04,760 --> 00:13:10,440 Otherwise you get what we did with Undertaker WrestleMania for so many years where it's like, 229 00:13:10,440 --> 00:13:15,880 oh yeah, it's Haker's winning. It just becomes almost like a pre-determined outcome 230 00:13:15,880 --> 00:13:22,520 than what professional wrestling usually is. So getting a little small chink in the armor 231 00:13:22,520 --> 00:13:27,720 for Oba Femi is not a bad thing because it does kind of humanize them a little bit. 232 00:13:27,720 --> 00:13:37,480 But overall, I think it's good for everybody involved here. By the way, Brock doing the Oba dance when 233 00:13:37,480 --> 00:13:44,440 the Oba was coming out also was really cool. This will be the path of Oba Femi now in the next 234 00:13:44,440 --> 00:13:50,360 three to four weeks is going to be very intriguing to watch because he's in the king of the ring 235 00:13:50,360 --> 00:13:55,080 tournament which we will preview and give our thoughts. He already won his first round match 236 00:13:55,080 --> 00:13:58,840 in just a little bit and I think when you look at the tournament bracket on paper you're 237 00:13:58,840 --> 00:14:03,320 merely going, oh this is Oba's to win. I mean this has got to send him up for Summer Slam. 238 00:14:04,840 --> 00:14:08,920 But there's part of me as I've been saying I was like I feel like this is a trifecta and then Brock 239 00:14:08,920 --> 00:14:13,960 is going to get that one last Saudi and Arabian mega payday and they'll wrestle a night of champions 240 00:14:13,960 --> 00:14:18,840 but if Oba's in that finals for the king of the ring, I think that's off the table which then 241 00:14:18,840 --> 00:14:22,360 leads me to believe would they be doing Oba and Brock at Saturday and it's been a 242 00:14:22,360 --> 00:14:28,360 event in match that's where Garden Midglai. Like I think Brock has one or two more matches left 243 00:14:28,360 --> 00:14:33,160 and then you look at how close that is to Summer Slam in Minneapolis, Minnesota 244 00:14:33,800 --> 00:14:41,560 and it makes you wonder is Oba. There's a lot of things in play here like that if you do midglai, 245 00:14:41,560 --> 00:14:46,200 I think it's like July 18th with Brock and Oba at Saturday and it's been a event. Well then that 246 00:14:46,200 --> 00:14:50,920 doesn't give them a long window to build towards maybe in a match or retirement match with Gunther 247 00:14:50,920 --> 00:14:55,880 which I think is the play here and then it also makes you wonder from the Roman Reigns aspect of it 248 00:14:55,880 --> 00:14:59,720 which we'll talk about him here in a little bit that maybe Roman is going to be around for a 249 00:14:59,720 --> 00:15:04,040 little bit longer holding this championship and he is not around for just a four-month time frame 250 00:15:04,040 --> 00:15:11,160 basically to pass the Torx Oba family at Summer Slam. So lots to play here right now and we'll kind 251 00:15:11,160 --> 00:15:14,680 of kind of we'll kind of piece this all together here towards a later part of the show when we look 252 00:15:14,680 --> 00:15:19,720 at the king of the ring stuff. Next match here is Sol Ruka defeating Becky Lynch to win the WWE 253 00:15:19,720 --> 00:15:24,680 Women's Intercontinental Championship. Both Dr. Trey and I had Becky Lynch in this one. Dr. Trey, 254 00:15:24,680 --> 00:15:29,160 what is the bigger story? Becky continues to put over a younger talent during this icy title run 255 00:15:29,160 --> 00:15:33,800 like Lyra, Maxine and Soul or this is the beginning of the rise of Sol Ruka. 256 00:15:33,800 --> 00:15:43,000 Um man, I'm going to go with the Sol Ruka angle because I've seen people kind of go yeah, Becky 257 00:15:43,000 --> 00:15:48,680 puts people over but then immediately takes it away from them. So I'm going to go with the trust 258 00:15:48,680 --> 00:15:53,640 into the rise of Sol Ruka is the bigger story because you and I last week the reason we picked Becky Lynch 259 00:15:53,640 --> 00:16:00,040 was because Sol stumbled quite a few times this coming to the main roster and you and I didn't 260 00:16:00,040 --> 00:16:07,320 think she was maybe ready for this spot. The fact they're trusting her in this role leads me to 261 00:16:07,320 --> 00:16:13,560 believe that they're going to keep pushing her as much as possible. So to me that just shows they 262 00:16:13,560 --> 00:16:19,320 got faith in her that she's going to turn some of these negatives into positives that she's a 263 00:16:19,320 --> 00:16:25,640 bankable star that you know she's probably the future of the women's division in five years. 264 00:16:25,640 --> 00:16:31,080 So I'm going to go like this is kind of that launching pad for Sol Ruka becoming a main event star 265 00:16:31,080 --> 00:16:35,720 here in the next years for WWE. And the thing it's funny because we were talking about the her not 266 00:16:35,720 --> 00:16:42,840 being ready and if you go back in that match um there was a point where Becky is on the turnbuckle 267 00:16:42,840 --> 00:16:48,680 wants to do the leg drop and she's telling Sol where to go like it was obviously piece to part a 268 00:16:48,680 --> 00:16:54,760 lot in social media and it was noticeable during the match. And this stuff where like Sol is struggling 269 00:16:54,760 --> 00:17:00,440 in some of these matches I'm I never witnessed this during her NXT run. It's like the nerves are 270 00:17:00,440 --> 00:17:05,400 getting the best of her and maybe she's forgotten about herself a little bit and just how damn good 271 00:17:05,400 --> 00:17:09,480 she is in the ring and how well she connects with the audience. The minute she finds that confidence 272 00:17:09,480 --> 00:17:13,960 and this is just me watching as if you were at home from what I think I may be seen who knows what's 273 00:17:13,960 --> 00:17:19,080 actually going on in her head behind the scenes. Once she figures that all out Dr. Trey I think she is 274 00:17:19,080 --> 00:17:24,520 going to be a mecha star and yeah I mean she's missed up in a little bit now she's got the icy title 275 00:17:24,520 --> 00:17:28,760 I think she's going to connect very very well with the audience her in-ring stuff is always phenomenal 276 00:17:28,760 --> 00:17:34,840 and exciting and hopefully she just kind of gets through this little blip and just realizes like 277 00:17:34,840 --> 00:17:40,600 her talent will always shine through it's it's noticeable so far and we were I was surprised that 278 00:17:40,600 --> 00:17:44,920 they gave her the intercutter on championship because of that coming out of the show but might as well 279 00:17:44,920 --> 00:17:50,360 push her in the water push her in the ocean they may say and then the next and final match here 280 00:17:50,360 --> 00:17:55,800 Dr. Trey was Roman Reigns defeating Jacob Fattu in tribal combat to retain the world 281 00:17:55,800 --> 00:18:02,760 every way championship you and I both had Roman Reigns on Mondays Raw Jacob Fattu acknowledges 282 00:18:02,760 --> 00:18:09,720 Roman Reigns as his tribal chief is now aligned with the Usos and Roman Reigns in this bloodline 283 00:18:09,720 --> 00:18:17,080 2.0 they walk out together the role of Jacob Fattu and the persona and the character that he will 284 00:18:17,080 --> 00:18:22,520 play moving forward will be very intriguing and interesting to watch I compared it to I think it 285 00:18:22,520 --> 00:18:28,360 was like Helen Sell 2020 when Roman defeated Jey Uso in that match and then Jey started to follow 286 00:18:28,360 --> 00:18:34,440 in line that it's it's it's mirroring it's mirroring a lot of things which leads me to this question 287 00:18:34,440 --> 00:18:39,480 Dr. Trey does the bloodline rebirth storyline that's what I'm going to be trademarking and calling it 288 00:18:39,480 --> 00:18:48,600 feel recycled or are you interested in it a little above and I know I'm kind of walking I'm kind 289 00:18:48,600 --> 00:18:55,800 of straddling the fence here a little bit but the dynamics of this are very interesting to me like 290 00:18:55,800 --> 00:19:01,000 yeah there is a little bit like the recycled storyline to it but we've seen it's weird we have 291 00:19:01,000 --> 00:19:08,600 more depth to these four people's characters than we did five years ago then five years ago I 292 00:19:08,600 --> 00:19:14,920 damn you I could barely tell Jay and Jimmy apart you know like now it's like you have the history of 293 00:19:14,920 --> 00:19:22,440 Jey Uso the last three years you have Jimmy's run you saw Jacob you know coming on to WWB yelling 294 00:19:22,440 --> 00:19:27,880 out I love you solo then turning on solo and then going on his run and now following line so the 295 00:19:27,880 --> 00:19:34,360 depth of the characters has gotten me intrigued because who's going to be the first one to break 296 00:19:34,360 --> 00:19:39,560 away is it going to be Jake as we've seen Jay be a little more unhinged as well you know is it 297 00:19:39,560 --> 00:19:46,760 going to be Jacob he just can't take falling in line as part of this family you know so like I'm 298 00:19:46,760 --> 00:19:53,560 intrigued by the characters in this storyline but it does at time feel a little rehash it's also a 299 00:19:53,560 --> 00:19:59,480 little bit of you know solo being the enforcer and the original bloodline with Jacob in this role so 300 00:19:59,480 --> 00:20:05,800 it's it's a little bit of recycling this but there's more depth to these characters than we had when 301 00:20:05,800 --> 00:20:11,320 the bloodline storyline kicked off five six years ago yeah there's there's layers to this we'll talk 302 00:20:11,320 --> 00:20:18,120 about the MFT stuff the Jacob Fatt two stuff that's being in there it's it feels to me you know coming 303 00:20:18,120 --> 00:20:22,680 out of WrestleMania the vibe that I got as I just talked about not too long ago here because of the 304 00:20:22,680 --> 00:20:26,680 interview that Roman did after WrestleMania during the post show was that Romans like I'm gonna be 305 00:20:26,680 --> 00:20:33,560 rounder in the summer and Roman's been pointing out like hey this is this is this is kind of like almost 306 00:20:33,560 --> 00:20:37,720 my last ride like I don't have many WrestleMania's left and I felt like okay he'll be around for four 307 00:20:37,720 --> 00:20:45,000 months lead to Oba Femi getting the push getting the torch and then carrying it from there and it looks 308 00:20:45,000 --> 00:20:52,920 more like you know it's this slow slow burn of the return of the bloodline where the Usos are 309 00:20:52,920 --> 00:20:58,600 aligned with him Roman is doing things in the ring that are similar to his time as the tribal chief 310 00:20:58,600 --> 00:21:04,120 in the OTC while he's still getting cheered and then they're they're building with Jacob Fatt two 311 00:21:04,120 --> 00:21:12,840 who knows what the MFTs fall into this like it just feels like that this is becoming like a big thing 312 00:21:12,840 --> 00:21:19,320 you know they were trying to to to stop and prevent the bloodline from ever being reborn everybody 313 00:21:19,320 --> 00:21:23,560 was off and doing their own thing and while everybody's not paying attention they're they're reforming 314 00:21:23,560 --> 00:21:29,400 like the mob like the mafia they are they are getting stronger and and ready to take over WWE at a 315 00:21:29,400 --> 00:21:34,440 moments notice and that makes me wonder what is this long-term play with Jacob Fatt two now in the 316 00:21:34,440 --> 00:21:42,040 bloodline doctor tray is he got to be filling that like Jay Usos role where he's the right hand man 317 00:21:42,040 --> 00:21:48,040 he's the guy that eventually you know breaks out like what are we thinking is is is going to be 318 00:21:48,040 --> 00:21:57,080 Jacob Fatt two's role here in the bloodline yeah I'm it's a little bit of to me like when Sean 319 00:21:57,080 --> 00:22:03,400 Michaels and JBL had their storyline and Sean got entered into servitude for JBL and eventually he 320 00:22:03,400 --> 00:22:09,320 just can't take any more and breaks away this could also lead to the J-whoso he'll turn 321 00:22:09,320 --> 00:22:17,400 it's curious to me about this because as much as we love Jacob Fatt two if you look at the guys 322 00:22:17,400 --> 00:22:26,040 who are usually on top of WWE I mean World Champion WWE Champion they're the guys you put on TV 323 00:22:26,040 --> 00:22:34,120 to do the late night talk shows to do like all the commercials I don't know if Jacob falls into that 324 00:22:34,120 --> 00:22:41,240 category because we've never really had somebody like Jacob organically get over to where it starts 325 00:22:41,240 --> 00:22:48,680 becoming where like oh crap we're gonna have to make him a champion like the last 10 years I 326 00:22:48,680 --> 00:22:53,480 mean I'm trying to think of like somebody who's like I can't think of anybody whose character kind 327 00:22:53,480 --> 00:23:00,280 of resembles him not just character but also look appearance the whole nine yards maybe a 328 00:23:00,280 --> 00:23:06,840 break wide but Brady didn't have the belt very long just you know typically it's good looking guy 329 00:23:06,840 --> 00:23:14,840 very charismatic very handsome easy on the eyes you know people jump on board and see what he's 330 00:23:14,840 --> 00:23:19,400 doing I don't know if Jacob falls into that category so it's gonna be interesting to see how they 331 00:23:19,400 --> 00:23:25,160 book this because typically when you have a big group like this and somebody breaks out they do 332 00:23:25,160 --> 00:23:32,280 ascend to that top spot and I just don't know if Jacob will be that guy in the eyes of WWE and TKO 333 00:23:33,320 --> 00:23:39,560 I will say Fatu's early interactions with J.U. So I think they have the ability to become very entertaining 334 00:23:39,560 --> 00:23:47,320 like with J.U. So like basically telling um telling Jacob Fatu to fall in line and all that stuff and 335 00:23:47,320 --> 00:23:52,600 him getting his face would be like J.I. Don't answer to you I think that there's some potential there 336 00:23:52,600 --> 00:23:59,240 for being some some very very entertaining stuff uh the layer to this all and I like that the 337 00:23:59,240 --> 00:24:05,480 bloodline rebirth storyline is is starting to slow burn up it's it's I don't think it's recycled I think 338 00:24:05,480 --> 00:24:12,680 it's it fits well with how the bloodline has been in WWE these last six years so I I'm very 339 00:24:12,680 --> 00:24:17,480 interested in and the direction of where it's going the layer to this doctor tray that has me 340 00:24:17,480 --> 00:24:23,560 incredibly fatigued interested in tree I should say is the MFTs and where they fit into the storyline 341 00:24:23,560 --> 00:24:28,200 so they're standing outside the barrier following the match of clash in Italy Roman Reigns as he has 342 00:24:28,200 --> 00:24:33,080 something for them he matches that again on raw we don't know what that actually means uh solo did 343 00:24:33,080 --> 00:24:38,040 perform on raw lost but it didn't lead to anything maybe we'll see it carry over to Smackdown 344 00:24:38,040 --> 00:24:41,960 what do you think if any the MFTs roles could be in this entire thing 345 00:24:41,960 --> 00:24:49,480 well if you remember you go back through your bloodline story Roman and Nointin Solo 346 00:24:49,480 --> 00:24:56,760 has like the guy to take his spot at some point you know it wasn't Jimmy it wasn't J it was it was solo 347 00:24:56,760 --> 00:25:03,480 and maybe we get like maybe Roman's looking at this is like hey let's bring everybody in house 348 00:25:03,480 --> 00:25:09,640 we get a super bloodline you know or something along those lines um but it is we see the 349 00:25:09,640 --> 00:25:15,880 issue the dynamic because this way Roman could almost oversee two kingdoms the kingdom on raw 350 00:25:15,880 --> 00:25:21,240 the bloodline and the kingdom on Smackdown with the MFT so it's it's interesting because you know 351 00:25:21,240 --> 00:25:25,640 Roman's like you mentioned earlier in the map you know going back to the the match with Cody or 352 00:25:25,640 --> 00:25:32,840 Lear like Roman is a baby face but he has these heel tendencies and by forming some kind of super 353 00:25:32,840 --> 00:25:40,840 group super family type thing like it is Roman kind of walking that line between heel and baby 354 00:25:40,840 --> 00:25:49,080 face if that comes through fruition so I don't know if like I don't think of bloodline versus MFT 355 00:25:49,080 --> 00:25:57,240 storyline what exciting because there's nobody in the MFTs that's on the Romans level um so to me 356 00:25:57,240 --> 00:26:03,240 it has to be almost like a super Samoan group yeah it's it seems like that's what things are going 357 00:26:03,240 --> 00:26:10,440 like it wouldn't surprise me if there's everybody falls in line and Romans bloodline is stronger than ever 358 00:26:10,440 --> 00:26:18,200 it you know this the bloodline has always been compared to star wars right if your star wars fan 359 00:26:18,200 --> 00:26:23,960 you kind of get it this is the return of of the empire and not only is the empire 360 00:26:23,960 --> 00:26:30,360 getting stronger they're getting larger and they could become indestructible and then all the 361 00:26:30,360 --> 00:26:34,440 sun and you've got like the Avengers of the WWE that needs to stop it there's a lot of foreshadowing 362 00:26:34,440 --> 00:26:41,240 going on with a stuffed post clash and Italy with Roman and Cody being face to face in the backstage 363 00:26:41,240 --> 00:26:49,720 area this to me all I the Roman train is is not stopping until next year's WrestleMania um I feel like 364 00:26:49,720 --> 00:26:55,000 we could be headed towards Roman and Cody 3 which was some rumblings for this past year's 365 00:26:55,000 --> 00:27:01,000 WrestleMania that did not take place and Roman and Cody has to take down Roman and the empire one more 366 00:27:01,000 --> 00:27:08,680 time uh and for good potentially so it's uh it's exciting Dr. Traum I'm I'm excited to see this it 367 00:27:09,400 --> 00:27:15,160 it feels like as of late WWE is kind of getting their groove back storyline storyline wise 368 00:27:15,160 --> 00:27:20,200 yeah I would I would say but when you mentioned the like a kind of reminding your star wars I'm like 369 00:27:20,200 --> 00:27:27,400 a kind of reminding me like those like the bloodline world order yeah you have the bloodline Hollywood 370 00:27:27,400 --> 00:27:33,000 and bloodline wolf pack you know it's like that um but yeah it does kind of feel that way like 371 00:27:33,000 --> 00:27:38,440 I saw rumors that you know that sets on the horizon for Roman I mean you could literally almost 372 00:27:38,440 --> 00:27:44,600 like bring a super group together to battle them and you know you still have these outlier guys 373 00:27:44,600 --> 00:27:50,520 we're like LA nights you know talking about you know he's seeing it coming and yep so there's a lot 374 00:27:50,520 --> 00:27:58,280 of baby faces that you could kind of pull in together to battles but then again if the bloodline 375 00:27:58,280 --> 00:28:03,080 becomes a heel faction then where does like the Braun Breaker, Braun's and Reed Logan Paul vision Paul 376 00:28:03,080 --> 00:28:08,200 Paul the player dude we in have seen those all of those guys turn baby face to battle the 377 00:28:08,200 --> 00:28:13,160 bloodline world order like where does it all kind of fit in so it does feel like WWE is going to get 378 00:28:13,160 --> 00:28:17,640 their groove back like we're getting some layers on these storylines we're seeing the Easter eggs 379 00:28:17,640 --> 00:28:23,960 we saw a little bit the Maxine Dupree Easter egg play out a little bit you know so like that just 380 00:28:23,960 --> 00:28:29,960 shows that they're being cognizant of hey we have this storyline but then we can start you know 381 00:28:29,960 --> 00:28:35,400 getting the embers stoked for some of these underlying storylines to cycle them up when we need 382 00:28:35,400 --> 00:28:40,920 something to kind of kick off and take place to kind of you know to kind of fill in the gaps when 383 00:28:40,920 --> 00:28:44,600 Roma's not around or Cody's not around or you know whatever it is. 384 00:28:44,600 --> 00:28:50,200 People for your prediction record you and I both win 4-1 for Clash and Italy we both sit at 21 385 00:28:50,200 --> 00:28:57,720 and 10 event rating and match of the night for me I gave Clash and Italy a 4.0 and my match of 386 00:28:57,720 --> 00:29:04,680 the night was rear-lipply and Jade Cargo what's a you Dr. Trey. I had Clash nearly at a 4.1 387 00:29:04,680 --> 00:29:09,880 thought I was a really solid show I gave mine to Roman and Jacob I mean I liked I liked 388 00:29:09,880 --> 00:29:14,680 to read and Jay but I really did enjoy some tribal combat so I went with Roman and Jacob and 389 00:29:14,680 --> 00:29:18,760 their match. So there you go feel free to chime in give us your ratings and review match of the 390 00:29:18,760 --> 00:29:27,480 night as well over at patreon.com/srtupodcast. Dr. Trey there is a match that is 391 00:29:27,480 --> 00:29:34,520 taking professional wrestling by storm and it sits in WWE not in a w it was from Triple A's Noche 392 00:29:34,520 --> 00:29:42,520 Dale's Los Grande's match or show this past Saturday night in Monterey Mexico I believe it was 393 00:29:42,520 --> 00:29:47,800 and it was the mask versus mass match between El Grande and Americano versus the OG original El Grande 394 00:29:47,800 --> 00:29:56,360 Americano. So much so that the match re-air at the close of RAW on Netflix this past Monday I was 395 00:29:56,360 --> 00:30:00,760 going to go out of my way to check it out after everybody was raving it about it but then thankfully 396 00:30:00,760 --> 00:30:05,080 they aired it after RAW this past week and that's how I watched the match I actually watched the match 397 00:30:05,080 --> 00:30:13,400 but about an hour or so before we record the podcast today and it's it's it's interesting because I 398 00:30:13,400 --> 00:30:17,800 know everybody's like Meltzer's even hyping it up like loved it and everybody who is in tune to 399 00:30:17,800 --> 00:30:22,200 what's going on Triple A right now is talking about how this storyline is and when you look at it 400 00:30:22,200 --> 00:30:28,600 from a WWE perspective you've got Ludwig Keiser a spoiler alert under the El Grande Americano mask 401 00:30:28,600 --> 00:30:35,160 and now the reveal Chad Gable in the OG mask so you have Chad Gable and Ludwig Keiser 402 00:30:35,160 --> 00:30:40,760 guys that were working the mid cards like lower or mid tier mid cards and I have an upper mid cards 403 00:30:40,760 --> 00:30:46,520 in WWE and they are putting Mexico on their back Triple A on their back and there's no title 404 00:30:46,520 --> 00:30:51,000 involved and people are just eating it up and I'm watching the match the match is about over like 405 00:30:51,000 --> 00:30:57,000 35 minutes long and I wish I could appreciate the storyline more dr. Tre because the fans were 406 00:30:57,000 --> 00:31:02,280 in it from start to finish and you know on the outside looking in I think we could criticize 407 00:31:02,280 --> 00:31:10,520 WWE because in Triple A they have six non-Hispanic wrestlers working under masks right now 408 00:31:10,520 --> 00:31:17,320 dominating the top storyline with Ryo and Bravo they kind of remind me of Tyler Bate and Pete Dunn 409 00:31:17,880 --> 00:31:25,000 and the Los Hermanos Americano's kind of reminding me of the Creed Brothers so I watch the match 410 00:31:25,000 --> 00:31:31,320 love the match so much so I think that El Grande Americano Ludwig Keiser will never leave Triple A 411 00:31:31,320 --> 00:31:36,360 because I don't think that character can can carry over to the main roster of Ron Smackdown I think 412 00:31:36,360 --> 00:31:41,160 he could be a mega star in Mexico for them and it's kind of pretty cool and exciting and I wish I had 413 00:31:41,160 --> 00:31:50,520 more time in the day watch Triple A now under the WWE banner but that's I think you could very much 414 00:31:50,520 --> 00:31:56,920 criticize and poke holes through win WWE acquired Triple A but from what I saw this past 415 00:31:56,920 --> 00:32:01,320 Saturday night and just watching that match loan dr. Tre does seem like WWE has been successful 416 00:32:01,320 --> 00:32:08,600 in transitioning themselves themselves over as the owners of Triple A and giving the Mexican fans 417 00:32:08,600 --> 00:32:13,240 something they could be proud of I don't know if you watched the match I did I do think it's a match 418 00:32:13,240 --> 00:32:20,600 of the year candidate and it was very exciting and everything and emotion, blood, you know violence 419 00:32:20,600 --> 00:32:26,200 and it connected with the audience so it was it was pretty cool your thoughts on the match dr. Tre 420 00:32:26,200 --> 00:32:32,360 if you had a chance to watch it so I watched the entire show last night like and I mean when I say 421 00:32:32,360 --> 00:32:37,240 last night I mean I finished up at like one o'clock in the morning I watched it from start to finish 422 00:32:37,720 --> 00:32:41,640 because I had heard every time I just the show in general and I was like I mean obviously I had 423 00:32:41,640 --> 00:32:45,880 heard about the match I was like man I'm I'm just gonna watch the entire show and I'll tune in to 424 00:32:45,880 --> 00:32:52,680 Triple A every so often you know drives long drives like you know I was telling you off air like I'm 425 00:32:52,680 --> 00:32:57,240 driving North Carolina tomorrow so like if they typically that's when I'll bust out a show that 426 00:32:57,240 --> 00:33:03,480 typically wouldn't watch and kind of just check out what's going on the show was great the crowd 427 00:33:03,480 --> 00:33:11,160 was great but I I have not seen a crowd that hyped up for a match in a very very long time 428 00:33:11,160 --> 00:33:17,720 maybe since Clash at the castle with Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns 429 00:33:17,720 --> 00:33:27,160 the match itself was really well done and you're right it had everything it had dramas you know it had 430 00:33:27,160 --> 00:33:34,840 violence had crowd interaction it had you know people I I thought that was Boy George that 431 00:33:34,840 --> 00:33:42,360 pippy person yeah I was like Boy George is making a comeback like who is this person like they did 432 00:33:42,360 --> 00:33:46,120 like I will say the couple the knocks on it like couple the camera angles you like they win 433 00:33:46,120 --> 00:33:56,760 the first person hit OG Grande Americana with the with the guitar shot like you kind of missed it 434 00:33:57,320 --> 00:34:04,280 you know but dude it also had love there's a love story involved in this thing I mean we talk about 435 00:34:04,280 --> 00:34:10,200 wrestling being so popper for men I mean this was literally like you know like you mentioned 436 00:34:10,200 --> 00:34:17,160 Star Wars this is almost like a feature film in like 35 minutes and I learned Chad Gables' middle name 437 00:34:17,160 --> 00:34:24,200 in this match I mean just some I learned his birthday I we saw his wife and kids I mean 438 00:34:24,840 --> 00:34:31,640 it literally was a telenovela in the ring so it was a fantastic match that the card itself from top 439 00:34:31,640 --> 00:34:38,920 the bottom was really good my only knock on triple A right now is the the the war Raiders are your 440 00:34:38,920 --> 00:34:47,800 tag team champions you know you got Dominic being your triple A mega champion El Helio Devoquingo 441 00:34:47,800 --> 00:34:54,440 is your Latin American champion he's probably the most WWE guy of the triple A guys other than maybe 442 00:34:54,440 --> 00:35:00,520 Mr. Aguana it does feel like they're very kind of right Phoenix is a cruiser champion right 443 00:35:00,520 --> 00:35:05,720 right Phoenix true is a champion yeah so like it is kind of like the the undercar the lower 444 00:35:05,720 --> 00:35:12,920 card in the mid card of WWE is gathering up championships in triple A and we're not kind of focusing 445 00:35:12,920 --> 00:35:20,280 on the triple A stars that would be my only knock on everything in triple A but yeah that match 446 00:35:20,280 --> 00:35:26,360 though yeah it's right I mean the tearing of the masks like you see that that tough of ludwig's 447 00:35:26,360 --> 00:35:32,440 hair coming up the mask like the last 20 minutes of the match like that that's some old school 448 00:35:32,440 --> 00:35:39,880 lucha Libre style stuff that I watched back in the 80s and 90s um so overall yeah it's it's 449 00:35:39,880 --> 00:35:44,680 up there it's probably like top three for me is like match of the year candidates right now is 450 00:35:44,680 --> 00:35:50,120 we get towards the half we're almost the halfway point of the year so it's right up there probably 451 00:35:50,120 --> 00:35:57,720 top three right now a German impersonating an American who is embracing Mexican heritage is the 452 00:35:57,720 --> 00:36:05,240 most oversuperstar in triple A right now wild great stuff great great stuff and I think at some point 453 00:36:05,240 --> 00:36:11,320 you're you're going to see the triple A you know originals kind of not be phased out I mean it's 454 00:36:11,320 --> 00:36:18,440 it's going to be a place where um maybe talent on rons macdown that aren't being well utilized 455 00:36:18,440 --> 00:36:25,400 can contaminate like an ohmoss um it could even be a place for stars and NXT or the LFG's are 456 00:36:25,400 --> 00:36:31,960 evolves to go and and cut their teeth first as well which we've seen with with some talent so it's uh 457 00:36:31,960 --> 00:36:39,720 I just like that it's it's being embraced it's not like another NXT it's its own thing still 458 00:36:39,720 --> 00:36:46,120 and uh they kind of walked into this like this wasn't WWE forcing upon this this is being 459 00:36:46,120 --> 00:36:51,000 embraced by the mexican fans the fans of triple A so that was pretty exciting and if you've not seen 460 00:36:51,000 --> 00:36:55,240 the match highly recommended and as dr trey pointed out it it is definitely something that will be 461 00:36:55,240 --> 00:36:59,960 discussed for match of the year and we'll be looking at like the halfway point here in in just 462 00:36:59,960 --> 00:37:04,760 about a month's time we usually do it right around the fourth of july after the six month mark passes 463 00:37:04,760 --> 00:37:11,320 which is also wild to think about for this year um final thing here dr trey is the king and king 464 00:37:11,320 --> 00:37:17,320 queen of the ring preview and predictions thus far so both winners of the king and queen of the ring 465 00:37:17,320 --> 00:37:23,720 will uh get a world title match at summer slam uh on raw this past money we had oboe feme advancing 466 00:37:23,720 --> 00:37:29,560 to the semi finals as he defeated pentas holosiko and carmelohaze on the female side eosky advanced 467 00:37:29,560 --> 00:37:35,080 to the semi finals defeating roxie and prez julia and lash legend on raw uh the other matches I 468 00:37:35,080 --> 00:37:39,560 actually thought it was a sixteen man and sixteen woman tournament and i was like wow they're 469 00:37:39,560 --> 00:37:44,680 really excited i did an old school uh instead it was just fatal foraways which i know triple h loves 470 00:37:44,680 --> 00:37:49,480 to do uh you've got domisterio brown breaker trick Williams and carmelohaze the winter faces oboe 471 00:37:49,480 --> 00:37:55,400 feme in the semi's in one match sathoran javana evans tala tunga ricky saints in another jayuso 472 00:37:55,400 --> 00:38:00,520 la night rois kies and fin baller in the final one for the men's side and on the female side baili 473 00:38:00,520 --> 00:38:06,280 versus rakell jc james and kiana james that winner will take on eoskyne the semi's live morgan who 474 00:38:06,280 --> 00:38:11,240 is a world champion is in the tournament taking on becky lentil exobliss and chelsea green and you 475 00:38:11,240 --> 00:38:16,840 got soul ruka lira valkary charlotte flaren jade cargill in the other match um starting with the 476 00:38:16,840 --> 00:38:22,440 king of the ring size uh side first year dr trey you know you you we kind of have been like 477 00:38:22,440 --> 00:38:29,640 talking about this uh in and out and it feels to me from what we're seeing on doubter we television 478 00:38:29,640 --> 00:38:34,440 if you asked me a week ago i would have said oboe feme is lining up to be the king of the ring 479 00:38:34,440 --> 00:38:40,680 and he'll take on roman reigns for the world championship um who knows maybe he can be facing kody 480 00:38:40,680 --> 00:38:46,040 but i think this is actually lining up now for uh sath ralens to win and face roman reigns for the 481 00:38:46,040 --> 00:38:50,440 world heavyweight championship at summer slam uh what's your vibe right now in the king of the 482 00:38:50,440 --> 00:38:57,000 ring tournament yeah i'm kind of with you on that one i mean i i there's a few guys in here i'd 483 00:38:57,000 --> 00:39:00,920 like to see when like you know brawn breaker winning the whole thing would be great oboe winning 484 00:39:00,920 --> 00:39:07,400 be great sath wouldn't be great um so there's a few options on the table because like we're like if 485 00:39:07,400 --> 00:39:12,680 you're roman reigns and j ausos in the tournament like what are you telling j you know like there's 486 00:39:12,680 --> 00:39:17,400 there's some good story lines out of this whole thing too i'm kind of with you on the sath ralens 487 00:39:17,400 --> 00:39:24,600 thing because i do to me it's over our sath um it's one of those two because i'm still trying to 488 00:39:24,600 --> 00:39:30,680 figure out we we kind of alluded this to earlier in the show is like how does the timeline play out 489 00:39:31,400 --> 00:39:39,720 for roman between now and summer slam and roman and wrestle made uh can you say roman and oboe 490 00:39:39,720 --> 00:39:48,120 all the way to wrestle made and if you can then you can put sath in that spot at summer slam 491 00:39:48,120 --> 00:39:54,280 and then come back and do roman and oboe at wrestle made because we talked about maybe 492 00:39:54,280 --> 00:39:58,600 brock and oboe at summer slam but they're still the gunther factor like where does gunther fit into 493 00:39:58,600 --> 00:40:04,680 all this he's not in this tournament uh are we sticking with gunther and kody does rand yordan come 494 00:40:04,680 --> 00:40:10,120 back does gunther slide back and challenge brock at summer slam because he is the career killer so 495 00:40:10,120 --> 00:40:17,560 it to me it's going to come down to oboe and sath but uh in the semi finals though if we get oboe and 496 00:40:17,560 --> 00:40:23,480 dom in the semi finals how awesome with that yeah that would be awesome but the one i'm looking at 497 00:40:23,480 --> 00:40:31,800 is oboe and brawn breaker yeah that's the one i want to see yeah i i from from a shirt like a sheer 498 00:40:31,800 --> 00:40:38,920 power just two legit bad asses absolutely but dom is so good at playing the chicken shit coward 499 00:40:38,920 --> 00:40:44,760 yes just him being in the ring with oboe struts out of him try to figure out some way to run away or 500 00:40:44,760 --> 00:40:50,680 you know just some kind of you know shenanigans or whatever like just trying to watch dom swarb 501 00:40:50,680 --> 00:40:55,240 his way out because we love like it's a weird world we live in now where we absolutely love dom 502 00:40:55,240 --> 00:41:01,400 nick mysterious character um but like yeah just watching dom like literally his character like literally 503 00:41:01,400 --> 00:41:06,440 like crapping his pants as oboe walks out something i kind of want to see yeah i just have this five it's 504 00:41:06,440 --> 00:41:13,080 oboe brawn in the next round the visions involved brock comes out costs over the match oboe versus uh 505 00:41:13,080 --> 00:41:19,480 brock three at night of champions maybe you've got seven you've got i think sath and maybe 506 00:41:20,600 --> 00:41:27,880 j a uso in the semis sath wins then we get sath brawn three and that'll decide like the end of that 507 00:41:27,880 --> 00:41:32,920 that feud uh and then sath wins which i think most people you know would be groaning over thing the 508 00:41:32,920 --> 00:41:39,320 king the ring tournament should be used to catapult uh up and coming stars to win the the matches rather 509 00:41:39,320 --> 00:41:43,800 than the established guys but now that there's so many different ways you can earn a championship match 510 00:41:43,800 --> 00:41:48,680 it's either this there's money in the bank there's the royal rumble that it's kind of like lost that 511 00:41:48,680 --> 00:41:54,440 luster uh oboe and brawn would be my top two choices to win that in a normal world but i do feel like 512 00:41:54,440 --> 00:42:00,680 it's sath the queen of the ring size side doctor trailer like when i look at this i i think we're getting 513 00:42:00,680 --> 00:42:06,600 we're getting eo sky versus live morgan in the finals like why else is the world champion in this 514 00:42:06,600 --> 00:42:11,480 like imagine she gets upset in that first round match which could be a way to get her out of there 515 00:42:11,480 --> 00:42:15,640 like i could see becky lynch maybe getting a run back up there but i feel like the queen of the 516 00:42:15,640 --> 00:42:22,360 ring tournament is meant for eo sky to finally or to win and challenge maybe live morgan for the 517 00:42:22,360 --> 00:42:30,120 world championship at summer slam yeah because i was when you're looking at it it's like who is in there 518 00:42:30,120 --> 00:42:36,760 from smackdown that you go ooh i really like to see that match against rea dilly when i could think of 519 00:42:36,760 --> 00:42:43,640 i mean we talk about charlotte jade i mean olexa in rea would be a good match up you know as summer 520 00:42:43,640 --> 00:42:50,760 slam also with buddy math you sang another ring there you go the winner gets winner gets buddy math 521 00:42:50,760 --> 00:42:57,240 use there you go um but yeah like i mean but you could actually play into that a little bit you can't 522 00:42:57,240 --> 00:43:00,920 i mean obviously you don't want to mention buddy math use because he's still under contract a w but 523 00:43:00,920 --> 00:43:08,040 you could mention it like hey we've got some history some shared history here uh and the the smart 524 00:43:08,040 --> 00:43:14,840 fans like us would eat that up um as much as i'd like to see eo like in that's the thing like who else 525 00:43:14,840 --> 00:43:19,960 it does we saw a little bit of the tension playing out maybe a little bit with live in roxan maybe 526 00:43:19,960 --> 00:43:26,360 roxan costs live the match in the first round to get to eo and live and then eventually we get to live in 527 00:43:26,360 --> 00:43:31,480 roxan i'm just trying to like storyline play it out my head because it feels like both these 528 00:43:31,480 --> 00:43:38,360 termizers like four people that theoretically you can see winning it out of the 16 but then which 529 00:43:38,360 --> 00:43:47,000 ones are the most compelling storylines yeah no i know it's um it it's i like it i like the field i 530 00:43:47,000 --> 00:43:53,880 like who they put in there um i think eo's been on the sidelines for too long where she should be 531 00:43:53,880 --> 00:43:58,520 back up in there and then there's also part of me when you look at the field where it's like 532 00:43:58,520 --> 00:44:02,040 it's funny because i was complaining that the king of the reign should be used to catapult someone 533 00:44:02,040 --> 00:44:07,080 and we're talking about established former world champions um but there's like there's like 534 00:44:07,080 --> 00:44:13,240 there's like jcj and kiana james were probably those two names that i would look at soles already 535 00:44:13,240 --> 00:44:19,080 got the intercontinental title i don't think livers get in that shot um there's also part of me that 536 00:44:19,080 --> 00:44:24,920 thinks that a back-eat-lensary surgeons is due i i don't i think she's done her time in the ic title 537 00:44:25,880 --> 00:44:31,240 lane dr. trai i i wouldn't be i wouldn't be shocked if she got back in that world championship 538 00:44:31,240 --> 00:44:38,840 picture as well but then this becky challenge ria yeah you can see that yeah question because 539 00:44:38,840 --> 00:44:44,360 because it like if becky wins like yeah becky and live would be a great match but they're heels 540 00:44:44,360 --> 00:44:51,720 you know like ria's not no no i was saying but if becky wins and she's on raw because she's the intercontinental 541 00:44:51,720 --> 00:44:58,520 champion hurts she would challenge live in theory now is the rule that if you win this term you can 542 00:44:58,520 --> 00:45:03,000 challenge any champion or does that get champion on your brain i i i mean that's the famous 543 00:45:03,000 --> 00:45:07,640 w_e_s creative right it's it's like the royal rumble thing you could challenge any chance that's how 544 00:45:07,640 --> 00:45:11,560 i interpret it's just like the rumble if you win the rumble even though i'm on raw i could challenge 545 00:45:11,560 --> 00:45:17,480 the title on smacked down like what revertly did so um we're not ready to riply she did it for 546 00:45:17,480 --> 00:45:24,120 elimination chamber but i mean we've seen that in the past with the rumble so yeah um i don't think 547 00:45:24,120 --> 00:45:31,720 it's side of the brands ria and becky is kind of i mean i i know they've wrestled a couple years ago 548 00:45:31,720 --> 00:45:41,640 yeah they wrestled mania 42 or 40 yeah because that was uh at the philadelphia one 549 00:45:42,760 --> 00:45:47,720 yeah because what was it one of them like really sick yeah i think like was that the story like becky 550 00:45:47,720 --> 00:45:52,040 was sick or ria was sick before the match that's why the match wasn't that great one of them was yeah 551 00:45:52,040 --> 00:45:58,040 it was russ mania 40 back in 24 yeah and so i mean i know they wrestled mania but i mean at this point 552 00:45:58,040 --> 00:46:02,760 it's a different becky lunch it's a different ria ria ripply they're on different levels than they 553 00:46:02,760 --> 00:46:07,720 were even back then so i mean you could cycle back to that match for summer slam and it would 554 00:46:07,720 --> 00:46:13,960 generate views i'd bring back the man character have a challenge for live but i think this is eos i 555 00:46:13,960 --> 00:46:19,480 really do um and part of me would love to see the creative were eo instead challenges ria ripply 556 00:46:19,480 --> 00:46:24,680 and we get a ria versus eo match because ria's never really defeated she's never defeated eo 557 00:46:24,680 --> 00:46:29,160 sky in a singles match but that wouldn't make no storyline sense unless they check they decided 558 00:46:29,160 --> 00:46:36,680 turn eo heal um so but you just did that emotional thing with oska so it was kind of like that's what i'm 559 00:46:36,680 --> 00:46:41,880 saying that's yeah yeah i think it's i think it's eo and live i want to be surprised if we saw an 560 00:46:41,880 --> 00:46:46,840 eo live finals because then would be like well what do they got to do with live and maybe lives like 561 00:46:46,840 --> 00:46:52,040 all challenge for the other belt and win two championships um i also want to be surprised if we see 562 00:46:52,040 --> 00:46:57,720 eo versus becky in the finals again i mean part of me if i was like i want to see the up in 563 00:46:57,720 --> 00:47:03,960 commerce it'd be jc james kiana jc jena james uh Chelsea drain i'd thrown there as well to 564 00:47:03,960 --> 00:47:10,200 to have a break out match do you know that match is what it's becky uh there's that match in becky 565 00:47:10,200 --> 00:47:18,280 lich niki live alexa Chelsea yeah i mean look at that match i mean like that is an incredible match 566 00:47:18,280 --> 00:47:25,640 that there's what one two three four five there's like nine women's or no like alexa's been a five 567 00:47:25,640 --> 00:47:30,600 time women's champ becky's a five time women's champ lives a two time three time three time 568 00:47:31,320 --> 00:47:37,240 thirteen women's world title and then Chelsea green like and like i mean how great would be for 569 00:47:37,240 --> 00:47:43,960 Chelsea to steal the victory out of just Chelsea winning that match elevates Chelsea if you pull 570 00:47:43,960 --> 00:47:49,480 the trigger and go that direction just in that match alone i agree and i think the other thing too 571 00:47:49,480 --> 00:47:54,280 is i the fatal four ways it gets you quick into the semi finals i don't know why they don't pull what 572 00:47:54,280 --> 00:47:59,720 AW does with the continental classic and just have um singles matches you know you got 16 stars 573 00:47:59,720 --> 00:48:04,120 it's a set it and forget it month creatively i mean and i i think fans would be fine with that 574 00:48:04,120 --> 00:48:08,040 because it's moving storyline along and it's making the importance of the king queen of the ring 575 00:48:08,040 --> 00:48:14,040 tournaments um that much bigger so i don't know not a big fan of the fatal four way first round matches 576 00:48:14,040 --> 00:48:18,360 heading into then the singles matches for semi's but uh that's what somebody we like to do 577 00:48:18,360 --> 00:48:22,280 you know heading to night of champions so there you go king and queen of the ring will be what 578 00:48:22,280 --> 00:48:27,080 keeping on that as we go through uh the next several weeks leading into the finals taking place at 579
