Toronto’s Ontario Line is finally taking shape—with steel V-columns rising over tracks at Exhibition Station, tunnel boring machines digging beneath the city, and a new bridge over the Don River in the works. This $27-billion, 15.6-kilometer subway will connect downtown to the east side by the early 2030s, easing overcrowding at key TTC hubs and offering the only above-ground station in the downtown stretch.
