Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
February 18th, 2026. And right off the bat, gotta
• 0:25
give a shout out a little girl. I cannot believe you were
• 0:28
turning 7 today. Or that I guess you have turned
• 0:30
7 today. How have you been in my life?
• 0:32
  Seven years? It's amazing.
• 0:34
Yeah. I never understood when people
• 0:36
said how fast years go by. Man, they really do.
• 0:39
I love you, kid. I want you to know I am dead
• 0:42
serious every night when I say thank you for making my life
• 0:46
  better. Every single day.
• 0:48
You really? I love you, man.
• 0:50
So happy birthday. Let's go get us whatever it is
• 0:53
that you want to eat tonight. Probably going to be Subway.
• 0:55
I know it's going to be Subway, isn't it?
• 0:57
Hey, it's what you want, what you get.
• 0:59
So happy birthday. All right, last night came right
• 1:02
down to the wire close by close. I mean, it was close like my
• 1:07
buddy came close dating the bassist for White Zombie back in
• 1:11
the day. You know who I'm talking about.
• 1:12
You know who that friend is? He knows who he is and it wasn't
• 1:15
close at all. So that was a Big L, like 5040
• 1:18
point. So I just bad, bad, bad, bad.
• 1:20
Barely broke 100. But anyways, today this is what
• 1:23
I'm looking right as I mentioned at the top, my girl, she's
• 1:26
turning 7. I was like, all right, got to
• 1:28
find something here. It's going to go with the
• 1:29
sevens. So I found luckily I'm out here
• 1:31
on the East Coast. So we got lots of games starting
• 1:33
at 7. We got some college basketball
• 1:35
starting at 7. I found that the Wichita State
• 1:39
Shockers are playing the East Carolina Pirates.
• 1:42
Yeah, I think they're pirates, not Buccaneers.
• 1:45
They're pirates. So the Shockers are taking on
• 1:47
  the Buccaneers and they're 7, 7 1/2 point favorites.
• 1:49
  I know there's a half in there, but it's still a 7:00.
• 1:51
  So at 7:00 there's 7 1/2 point favorites.
• 1:54
And I don't see any reason why the Shockers don't cover this,
• 1:58
even though it's East Carolina and I don't think we have in
• 2:01
East Carolina. And really, as far as I know,
• 2:03
when you go east of the two Carolinas, that put you in the
• 2:06
ocean. But anyways, that's even more
• 2:08
reason why the Shockers, I guess that would be pretty shocking.
• 2:10
Anyways, the important thing here is we got sevens.
• 2:13
We got sevens and we got sevens. And that's what we're going to
• 2:16
do. So we're going to take Wichita
• 2:18
State -7 1/2 against East Carolina Pirates in today's NCAA
• 2:23
men's college basketball action. Anything better than that?
• 2:27
Found it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:29
  to it. Happy birthday, girl.
• 2:30
I love you, I love you, I love you.
• 2:32
Can't say it enough, I want you to know it.
