- 1:05Speaker 4: My my new friend Andrea have the same you have
- 1:08Speaker 4: the same name as my as my sister Lasso.
- 1:10Speaker 3: That's why I love you.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Oh, thank you, and we uh.
- 1:16Speaker 4: You have just done a documentary on the Gottis.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Yeah. I do a lot of crime documentaries. Many many
- 1:23Speaker 3: crime documentaries. I've been on Gotti and Son on a
- 1:26Speaker 3: any Netflix, get Gotti Mafia Killers on reels. I do
- 1:31Speaker 3: mostly my work is crime documentaries because I grew up
- 1:36Speaker 3: in that background, and I know a lot of the
- 1:39Speaker 3: real mobsters, not these as do I you know, lots
- 1:43Speaker 3: of real you know, hung around, not just hung around
- 1:47Speaker 3: with them. I was arrested myself and facing like a
- 1:53Speaker 3: lot of prison time. Wow. So I was arrested with
- 1:55Speaker 3: twenty two organized crime guys. That's why my story was
- 1:58Speaker 3: so unique because you know, I was entrenched in you know,
- 2:03Speaker 3: making a lot of money. I was lending money out
- 2:06Speaker 3: like a bank back in the day. And so yeah,
- 2:11Speaker 3: so uh, you know, I had like a crew behind
- 2:16Speaker 3: me that you know guys.
- 2:18Speaker 2: That can you talk about the family right now?
- 2:21Speaker 4: Because family I was because I don't know if it
- 2:23Speaker 4: was a post I mean with the people.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Now what I did. I started my own enterprise with
- 2:30Speaker 3: which family?
- 2:31Speaker 2: Can I say?
- 2:31Speaker 3: It wasn't I wasn't conducted, It was.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Not connected to one five families.
- 2:35Speaker 3: And that I had. I had guys behind me that
- 2:38Speaker 3: were back in me that I grew up with. So
- 2:40Speaker 3: I grew up with a lot of street guys and
- 2:41Speaker 3: they were connected or they were made. Yeah, you're talking
- 2:43Speaker 3: like John Gay and a lot of you know, you know,
- 2:47Speaker 3: big names. And then so if I had a problem,
- 2:52Speaker 3: I had people back in me to get the money
- 2:54Speaker 3: that was owed to me.
- 2:55Speaker 4: And how did you get involved with this? Like just
- 2:57Speaker 4: like usually they didn't. I mean, we usually were not
- 3:01Speaker 4: part of that life. No, but I know I grew
- 3:03Speaker 4: up in Howard Beach. Yeah, but I got.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Involved because given my background, my mom was very good
- 3:10Speaker 3: friends with crazy Joe Gallo and she did a lot
- 3:12Speaker 3: of stuff for him. And then we grew up in
- 3:15Speaker 3: a neighborhood that you know. I'm one of ten children,
- 3:18Speaker 3: and my brothers were street guys.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Ok.
- 3:20Speaker 3: So my brothers did a lot of a lot of
- 3:22Speaker 3: prison time. When did fifteen years, the other did seven years.
- 3:25Speaker 3: So a lot of my background was from that and
- 3:28Speaker 3: they knew I could be trusted. Plus, at twenty two
- 3:31Speaker 3: years old, I was living with Frank Leno, which was
- 3:35Speaker 3: a mob captain for the Banano I was the Banano
- 3:40Speaker 3: crime family. And then later on at twenty one, I
- 3:43Speaker 3: was with Mark Ryder, which was with the Gambino and.
- 3:47Speaker 2: With him for a long time.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Yeah, but up until current he passed away in September
- 3:50Speaker 3: of this year. I was visiting him in Allenwood Federal Prison.
- 3:54Speaker 2: My god, I used to visit my ex husband and
- 3:56Speaker 2: Allan one.
- 3:56Speaker 4: So actually, did you go to the did you go
- 4:01Speaker 4: to the Baseball World Series?
- 4:02Speaker 2: When you were there? That's what the that was.
- 4:05Speaker 3: When when I got back in touch with Mark, it
- 4:07Speaker 3: was a couple of years ago, maybe three four years ago. Uh,
- 4:11Speaker 3: it was due to his story is so unique, and
- 4:17Speaker 3: we myself and some producers from Netflix wanted to get
- 4:21Speaker 3: his story and they wouldn't let them in to speak
- 4:23Speaker 3: to him, but they let me in because it was
- 4:25Speaker 3: documented that I knew him back in the day. So
- 4:28Speaker 3: you know, they go through a whole background check on
- 4:31Speaker 3: who you know, who you don't know to get into
- 4:33Speaker 3: the prison. So we were taken down all the documentation
- 4:39Speaker 3: of like how he became he was a Jewish guy,
- 4:42Speaker 3: but how he became so close in the mob and
- 4:44Speaker 3: how so well respected and they made the film about
- 4:47Speaker 3: him King of New York. Yeah. So so that and
- 4:51Speaker 3: then after Get Gotti was the number one hit in
- 4:55Speaker 3: forty five countries for seven weeks, I was asked actually
- 5:00Speaker 3: to do a podcast. So when I started my podcast,
- 5:04Speaker 3: which is just Andrea Giovino on YouTube. I it's all
- 5:09Speaker 3: crime because that's basically what I know is crime anything crime.
- 5:14Speaker 3: You know, when the FEDS arrested me, they said, if
- 5:17Speaker 3: you press any letter in the dictionary, she'll tell you
- 5:23Speaker 3: everything about you know, whether it's robbery or extortion.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Or and what you started reading up on it. And
- 5:30Speaker 2: that's no.
- 5:31Speaker 3: No, I was involved in because I was involved in what.
- 5:36Speaker 4: You become well, I mean you once you start getting
- 5:39Speaker 4: charged with things, you start to learn the law.
- 5:41Speaker 3: And well I learned the law. But when I was
- 5:44Speaker 3: arrested with twenty two guys, my husband at the time
- 5:47Speaker 3: was already incostly rated doing eight years, and I was
- 5:50Speaker 3: arrested with my brother and other people. But I never
- 5:53Speaker 3: had to how long were you in jail for?
- 5:54Speaker 2: Were you in jail?
- 5:55Speaker 3: I was arrested at Cadman Plaza, So I spent like
- 5:57Speaker 3: a night overnight.
- 5:58Speaker 2: So that you aren't you didn't.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I didn't have to do time because what happened was
- 6:04Speaker 3: they really didn't want me. They wanted my husband. They
- 6:06Speaker 3: wanted because they were Yeah, there were a lot of
- 6:09Speaker 3: murders involved. So my husband at the time and my
- 6:14Speaker 3: brother cooperated and in release, to release me from the kids.
- 6:20Speaker 3: So they cooperated so that they will get so then
- 6:23Speaker 3: I can what they do. That's what they do. So
- 6:25Speaker 3: I was arrested and I had four small kids at
- 6:28Speaker 3: the time.
- 6:28Speaker 4: So so they want to get somebody, so they don't
- 6:33Speaker 4: cast now they're going ton't ask somebody.
- 6:35Speaker 3: To get They don't. They don't really care.
- 6:37Speaker 2: They probably didn't really care about it.
- 6:39Speaker 3: They didn't care.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Want to press on you to get and they got
- 6:42Speaker 4: what they wanted and they didn't want what they're doing.
- 6:45Speaker 3: I mean, I never they're smart.
- 6:46Speaker 2: No, you're never.
- 6:47Speaker 3: It's smarting them not not.
- 6:49Speaker 2: No, because they know what they're doing and they already
- 6:51Speaker 2: know everything.
- 6:52Speaker 3: They know it all, you know. I always say, because
- 6:56Speaker 3: they also did a show about the whole P. Diddy stuff,
- 6:59Speaker 3: And I always say when the Feds come, they know everything,
- 7:03Speaker 3: not that they just know everything. They have a solid case.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yes, they're not going to come in.
- 7:07Speaker 3: They don't, they don't lose. It's like ninety five percent.
- 7:10Speaker 3: They have a solid case against you. Yes, you could
- 7:13Speaker 3: pay your attorney millions of dollars, but I mean I
- 7:16Speaker 3: know a lot of people that paid hundreds of dollars
- 7:20Speaker 3: and they don't get out so when the Feds come,
- 7:23Speaker 3: you're in trouble. That's it, You're in trouble.
- 7:24Speaker 2: They have a case built already before they go there.
- 7:28Speaker 3: They know everything.
- 7:28Speaker 4: My husband wasn't cost rat. He was arrested. He was
- 7:31Speaker 4: arrested with eighty seven people that morning. So when we
- 7:34Speaker 4: walked into the courtroom they had stacks.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I mean, this was being built for years when they
- 7:40Speaker 2: got in.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Then they're not going to come and arrest that many
- 7:42Speaker 4: people unless they have a solid case they want anything,
- 7:45Speaker 4: because they're not further, They're not gonna be fulls out
- 7:47Speaker 4: of themselves.
- 7:48Speaker 2: They're not going to waste time.
- 7:49Speaker 4: No, it's and unless they do get a collar and
- 7:52Speaker 4: be able to make it stick, they're not.
- 7:55Speaker 2: They're not going through all that.
- 7:56Speaker 3: No. And like I'm from the streets, so like there
- 7:59Speaker 3: was nothing.
- 8:00Speaker 2: That not what's the inevitability.
- 8:03Speaker 3: It's it's like yeah for me, like nothing scares me.
- 8:09Speaker 3: I've just always been that way. I'm a lady all
- 8:11Speaker 3: the way. But like, don't poke a tiger because you'll
- 8:15Speaker 3: see a whole different side of me.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I could.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Yeah. And then with that, even with when I started
- 8:23Speaker 3: my podcast, I got a lot a lot of negativity
- 8:29Speaker 3: from the male genre because I'm the only female right
- 8:34Speaker 3: now doing a podcast on crime. There is nobody else
- 8:38Speaker 3: doing it. So I got a lot of bashing, you know,
- 8:45Speaker 3: until I held my own and until I was on
- 8:48Speaker 3: somebody else's podcast. And I got a call from federal
- 8:51Speaker 3: prison from Mack Wrider while I was doing a podcast,
- 8:56Speaker 3: and I said, Hey, Mark, I'm doing a podcast for you.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I was on John Livia and he does crime also
- 9:04Speaker 3: at a Staten Island and he's I said, hey, Mark,
- 9:07Speaker 3: I'm doing a podcast right now. I said, but people
- 9:09Speaker 3: are questioning my integrity about who I knew. No. Originally,
- 9:16Speaker 3: originally I think he was. Yes, So I said, he flipped. No, no, no, no,
- 9:20Speaker 3: he did thirty seven years in prison. No, he never
- 9:25Speaker 3: got out. He never flipped.
- 9:27Speaker 2: He went because he killed somebody. That's what he wanted
- 9:30Speaker 2: to know.
- 9:31Speaker 3: He went to jail because he was a major heroin trafficker.
- 9:34Speaker 2: So that's the Yeah, yeah, Mark, Yeah.
- 9:40Speaker 3: So Mark, as he's talking to me from Allenwood Federal Prison,
- 9:44Speaker 3: which is being taped, he says, who wants to know
- 9:48Speaker 3: you were in the streets? Yeah, everybody respected you, you know,
- 9:51Speaker 3: And he's saying this, and then after that came out
- 9:55Speaker 3: that yes, she was in the streets. Everyone respected her.
- 9:58Speaker 3: John got he knew her very well. All these eyes
- 10:00Speaker 3: knew her very well. Then it all toned down because
- 10:04Speaker 3: you had all these younger thugs that was saying, we
- 10:07Speaker 3: don't know who is she. Yeah, you don't know me
- 10:10Speaker 3: because you weren't with these people.
- 10:12Speaker 4: You're you're in different exactly.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Of course you don't know me, and I won't know
- 10:18Speaker 3: you either. Truthfully, you're not supposed to know me. Your
- 10:21Speaker 3: name shouldn't even be out there. If you're in the streets,
- 10:23Speaker 3: you don't want your name out bare. So but now
- 10:27Speaker 3: you know everything. My podcast grows every day, So it's great,
- 10:32Speaker 3: you know, because it's the it's a woman's point of view,
- 10:35Speaker 3: you know, And.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Do you enjoy doing it?
- 10:40Speaker 3: I do want. I have some really great Yes, you'll
- 10:42Speaker 3: have to come on.
- 10:44Speaker 4: You have to come on my my story.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Yes, well that basically I'd love for you to talk
- 10:50Speaker 3: about that.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Twice went away.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, unfortunate. I know I went through that, and
- 10:57Speaker 3: I was just saying to my son on the way.
- 10:59Speaker 4: We do the talk, I think the women more than
- 11:01Speaker 4: the menzoes a lot of times because we're stuck out
- 11:03Speaker 4: here there and there they're's working out every day.
- 11:06Speaker 3: You know. It's so funny because that's why I really
- 11:08Speaker 3: did go out on the streets, because I had no
- 11:12Speaker 3: formal education and the only thing I did know was
- 11:15Speaker 3: the streets. So I put money out on the streets
- 11:18Speaker 3: and I was lending out money like launch sharking, and
- 11:20Speaker 3: then from that it went into lending money to big
- 11:25Speaker 3: drug deals like I'd front the money for them, and
- 11:28Speaker 3: then I got arrested for that. So it was I
- 11:31Speaker 3: was arrested on a Rico. So when I got arrested
- 11:34Speaker 3: on Rico, I was charged with everything else they were
- 11:36Speaker 3: being charged with.
- 11:39Speaker 4: What do she explain to everybody what a Rico crime is? God,
- 11:43Speaker 4: just just give a quick synopsis.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Of what it is. A Rico crime is was basically,
- 11:48Speaker 3: I feel made for the Italians, you know, put that
- 11:53Speaker 3: in place. And so if you're on if you're on
- 11:58Speaker 3: my case, and yes, and you did murders and I'm
- 12:02Speaker 3: just getting arrested for loan shocking Rico, I'm getting charged
- 12:05Speaker 3: with what you're getting charged anything you did anything else
- 12:10Speaker 3: the twenty two guys did.
- 12:11Speaker 2: You're guilty by that.
- 12:14Speaker 3: It's all enterprise.
- 12:16Speaker 4: It's an enterprise, right, So it's an organized crime enterprise.
- 12:19Speaker 4: So it's made for the Italians.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Right, right, So I think it got racketeering, extortion, it's
- 12:29Speaker 5: every coersion everything, well, whatever it is, it's something like that.
- 12:33Speaker 4: That's what That's what my ex husband went to for
- 12:36Speaker 4: recal charge. So yeah, it's every Italian, every Italian, I
- 12:41Speaker 4: swear they get that.
- 12:43Speaker 3: But basically that happened, you know, because that's all I
- 12:48Speaker 3: knew what to do, is you know, know, how to
- 12:50Speaker 3: maneuver and make money and stuff like that. But and
- 12:54Speaker 3: then later on, you know, I gave him a second chance.
- 12:58Speaker 3: He came out of prison, my husband sounds like my story,
- 13:01Speaker 3: and then it did. He didn't change. He never changed.
- 13:04Speaker 3: And people don't change, they just they just don't. Not
- 13:08Speaker 3: not that type of personality.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Their personnel is a very very narcissistic.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Yeah, personality narcissisistic. And you know it's always the.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Everybody else's fault.
- 13:24Speaker 4: They did the guest lighting, the gas lighting, the all
- 13:26Speaker 4: of that, all the whole thing, and they are stereotypical sociopaths, narcissists.
- 13:32Speaker 2: So I just associated, like you said.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Yeah, So, I you know, wrote a book once I
- 13:37Speaker 3: wrote the book Divorced from the Mob, that was. It
- 13:40Speaker 3: came out in two thousand and four, I did a
- 13:42Speaker 3: whole media blast. I was on sixty minutes. I was
- 13:45Speaker 3: on the view with all the women I know. You know,
- 13:49Speaker 3: it's funny when I was asked to be on the view,
- 13:51Speaker 3: Barbara Walters was on and well that was the view.
- 13:54Speaker 3: That was that was the view. And then now they're
- 13:57Speaker 3: too political. They yeah, too much for me much. The
- 14:01Speaker 3: producer had called me before.
- 14:02Speaker 4: And was just hurting them they should stop with the politics.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Doing the entertainment.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Forgot about the politics.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Well, so the producer had called me the day before
- 14:11Speaker 3: to give me a list of questions before I did
- 14:14Speaker 3: the view, and because we had another hit show at
- 14:18Speaker 3: the time called I Married a Mobster and my show
- 14:20Speaker 3: came in highest rating of all the shows. So I
- 14:26Speaker 3: said the producer, I said, no, I don't. I don't
- 14:28Speaker 3: need a list. I said, I go right off the cuff.
- 14:30Speaker 3: There's nothing about me that's fake. What you see is
- 14:32Speaker 3: what you get. I said, But I will tell you
- 14:34Speaker 3: something if any one of those women try to poke me,
- 14:38Speaker 3: I said, I'm going to tell you now. Well, at
- 14:41Speaker 3: the time it was talk soup. We'll be all over
- 14:43Speaker 3: talk soup, I said, because I've done my research on
- 14:44Speaker 3: each and every one of them. I'm no dummy coming on.
- 14:48Speaker 3: When I went on, they were Sweetest Pie. It was
- 14:52Speaker 3: Droy dehar it was Whoopy Goldberg. It was Barbara Barbara.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Well Barber's a late. It was Alt.
- 14:59Speaker 3: It was at the time, Elizabeth Hasselhall and Star Jones. Okay,
- 15:06Speaker 3: and they were lovely. They were all lovely. That group
- 15:10Speaker 3: was lovely. They weren't what it is.
- 15:13Speaker 4: She she was on the case with what my husband
- 15:16Speaker 4: was indeed, and when he was sixteen, I'll tell.
- 15:18Speaker 2: You about that, Okay, Yeah, but this was three times
- 15:21Speaker 2: it was.
- 15:22Speaker 3: So I was like, yeah, because I knew at the
- 15:25Speaker 3: time even then, like they made a couple. I don't
- 15:29Speaker 3: remember who it was. Women go wolf crimes and not me.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I'm telling you right now, I'll go right back at you.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 3: So it when it went beautiful.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Yeah, because they know they're not gonna they're gonna have
- 15:40Speaker 4: an answer and you're gonna go yes, yes, And now
- 15:42Speaker 4: they'll just.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Scream over you now because that's all they do is
- 15:44Speaker 2: scream over people.
- 15:45Speaker 3: I think the show has really got plumbing.
- 15:48Speaker 4: People don't watch anybody, you know what it's become. You
- 15:50Speaker 4: know what six entertainment. Well, you're not an expert and
- 15:54Speaker 4: not telling people what to think. But politics stop.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Like either is that I have lost a lot of
- 16:01Speaker 3: followers and friends from political views. I don't. I don't
- 16:06Speaker 3: feel that if you tell me who you're voting for,
- 16:08Speaker 3: I'm not going to be mad at you. I'm not
- 16:10Speaker 3: going to not be your friends. That's what it should be.
- 16:14Speaker 3: It should be that.
- 16:15Speaker 4: And you shouldn't avoid phocals because you think I'm gonna
- 16:17Speaker 4: say something to you.
- 16:18Speaker 2: And I wouldn't do that.
- 16:20Speaker 3: But that's okay. Maybe he maybe for on his point,
- 16:25Speaker 3: but he did that for a reason. But what I'm saying,
- 16:27Speaker 3: you don't burn a relationship.
- 16:31Speaker 2: No, it's ridiculous.
- 16:32Speaker 3: It's what your political view is.
- 16:34Speaker 2: But that's what it's become now.
- 16:36Speaker 3: If the political view was totally opposite from what my
- 16:39Speaker 3: view was and they won, I would not be mad.
- 16:44Speaker 3: I would say, okay, then this is it. My whole
- 16:46Speaker 3: thing of what I feel is whatever is best for
- 16:49Speaker 3: the country, absolutely what the country? Can you know? Men
- 16:54Speaker 3: together and come and unite together. Not that I'm going
- 16:57Speaker 3: to be upset with you.
- 16:59Speaker 4: I'll go after the person and try to hurt them.
- 17:03Speaker 3: And no, I've gotten but I don't respond to it
- 17:07Speaker 3: because I'm not gonna lower myself. I'm gonna explain to
- 17:09Speaker 3: you what I know.
- 17:10Speaker 4: I believe you know what my thing is is as
- 17:13Speaker 4: far as that and I and I don't.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I don't like to get political on this show. I am.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I am in the middle, and I'm for common sense.
- 17:21Speaker 4: And if something is telling me that common sense wise
- 17:25Speaker 4: it's not right, I'm not doing it. I don't care
- 17:29Speaker 4: if they don't if they look like me, if they're
- 17:31Speaker 4: a woman, if this. I'm not voting for somebody based
- 17:33Speaker 4: on gender. I'm not voting for somebody based on race.
- 17:36Speaker 4: I'm voting for somebody because they're qualified for the job
- 17:39Speaker 4: and I feel like they're going to get things done.
- 17:41Speaker 4: I worry about my family, and at the end of
- 17:43Speaker 4: the day, that's.
- 17:44Speaker 2: All I care about.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Yeah, and I have grants and economics, and I worry
- 17:48Speaker 3: about the economy. I worry about our safety with other countries, Yes,
- 17:52Speaker 3: which was a big issue for me.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Absolutely, I worry.
- 17:55Speaker 4: But the nurse who got did you hear the record
- 17:57Speaker 4: about the nurse who got raped by the migrant came
- 18:00Speaker 4: in and she was screaming for her life, and you
- 18:02Speaker 4: just heard them keep bashing.
- 18:03Speaker 2: A rock on a head.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I've seen that.
- 18:05Speaker 4: And you're telling me that there's no there's no problem here.
- 18:09Speaker 3: No, there is a major, pro major problem.
- 18:11Speaker 2: You don't know any of these people that are coming through.
- 18:14Speaker 4: And listen where your parents were from.
- 18:17Speaker 3: We're from Italy. Come over, but come over and I
- 18:21Speaker 3: can tell you my son's here also in the audience.
- 18:24Speaker 3: I can tell you this, and my son's here. To doubt.
- 18:27Speaker 3: I have helped many, many people. I've taken them in
- 18:30Speaker 3: my home from other countries that come here on these
- 18:34Speaker 3: or help raise their children, help help them in every
- 18:38Speaker 3: way I can. But come legally, Yes, come legal, don't
- 18:42Speaker 3: come illegally. I'm the first one to say absolutely, I
- 18:46Speaker 3: want to help you.
- 18:47Speaker 5: I don't see how.
- 18:48Speaker 2: You take that on.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Now do all these other people that cry to want them,
- 18:51Speaker 4: well here, why don't you if you want them, and
- 18:53Speaker 4: why don't you take them on.
- 18:55Speaker 3: I've taken them on to.
- 18:59Speaker 4: And you take them into your house and bring them
- 19:02Speaker 4: in and you and you sponsor them.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Just want them everybody to come in.
- 19:06Speaker 3: And that's promoted her as a cleaner and her husband
- 19:10Speaker 3: and working for off family and then another family. I
- 19:13Speaker 3: helped raise their little girl because I have a nice
- 19:16Speaker 3: property and the kid would come from one and a
- 19:19Speaker 3: half till I still speak to her. She just graduated college.
- 19:23Speaker 4: It's about but legally, don't come here because you want
- 19:26Speaker 4: free stuff. Not come here because you have other things.
- 19:29Speaker 3: You come in as a major criminal and start hurting.
- 19:34Speaker 4: People's hurting people here.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Now that's not it's not right.
- 19:38Speaker 3: I'm not There was many many reasons that it didn't
- 19:41Speaker 3: work for me.
- 19:42Speaker 4: No, and I agree with that, And it was the safety.
- 19:44Speaker 4: It was that I mean for me was the countries.
- 19:47Speaker 4: You know, the countries that we're dealing with. I mean,
- 19:49Speaker 4: you're dealing with these crazy people.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Huh, you know that.
- 19:53Speaker 1: You know.
- 19:53Speaker 4: That's just what it is. And I like, I say
- 19:55Speaker 4: it like this, and I don't like. I'm gonna say again,
- 19:57Speaker 4: I'm not gonna I don't like really too much politics. Yeah,
- 20:00Speaker 4: it's common sense and that's it, and that's it. I'm
- 20:02Speaker 4: going to do for what I feel is right. And
- 20:04Speaker 4: at this point now, if I feel what's right is
- 20:06Speaker 4: right right, if somebody's gonna get angry at me because
- 20:09Speaker 4: that's the way I feel, No, it shouldn't have to
- 20:11Speaker 4: worry about your feelings. That to make sure I get
- 20:13Speaker 4: your pronouns right, but you're not gonna get upset.
- 20:16Speaker 3: With you if I shouldn't be. I'm a big supporter
- 20:18Speaker 3: of women in general. I love to support women. I
- 20:22Speaker 3: love to help another woman. I probably would not want
- 20:25Speaker 3: to be do a reality show. And that's why I
- 20:27Speaker 3: always do documentaries because it's really true crime.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Because you want to like to bash all the way.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I don't want to do that. I'm not gonna do
- 20:35Speaker 3: that for about I'm just not no. I feel like
- 20:37Speaker 3: I'm up here. I'm a practicing Catholic. My my morals
- 20:41Speaker 3: and and my.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Well you know that that's not fashionable too.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Well, practice Catholical Christian, you get. I'm in church all
- 20:52Speaker 3: the time, and I'm very close to my church. I'm
- 20:55Speaker 3: very close to the Lord. I'm not going to go
- 20:58Speaker 3: ahead and go just bash somebody and abuse them for money.
- 21:01Speaker 3: That's just not me. I'm not going to do that.
- 21:04Speaker 3: I just have too much integrity for that. And I
- 21:08Speaker 3: think a lot of that. It's sad to me. I
- 21:11Speaker 3: don't watch the reality because I don't like to see
- 21:14Speaker 3: women doing that to each other. Well, you know what,
- 21:16Speaker 3: it's not something I want to see.
- 21:18Speaker 2: On And this is my problem with, especially even with
- 21:21Speaker 2: the new feminists. Now.
- 21:22Speaker 4: You know, I'm a feminist, I'm full women, but I'm
- 21:25Speaker 4: not for women acting like men.
- 21:27Speaker 2: We're not men. No, we're not now be a woman, to.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Be proud to be a woman, because we are different
- 21:34Speaker 4: and we should be held on a pedestal.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I still want my door open for me, not because
- 21:38Speaker 2: I respect exactly, that's a respect thing.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Helped me out of a car.
- 21:44Speaker 4: I'll take my hand, not because I oh, I don't know,
- 21:48Speaker 4: because it's respect.
- 21:50Speaker 3: It's a word. And I think chivalry doesn't exist anymore now.
- 21:54Speaker 2: And it's not right.
- 21:55Speaker 4: And and this is where these new feminists have I
- 21:58Speaker 4: have a problem with, because now they're making it that
- 22:01Speaker 4: women now are marrying weak men and they're having problems
- 22:05Speaker 4: in their.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Relationships because you do need a strong man. I am sorry.
- 22:09Speaker 2: You cannot have a man who's not strong. No, and
- 22:12Speaker 2: these these these men today are not.
- 22:14Speaker 4: And I'm thanking God that I kind of see the
- 22:16Speaker 4: tide shifting a little bit.
- 22:18Speaker 2: We need strong men, we do to build a family.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Just having this conversation that I've been single for a
- 22:25Speaker 3: long time, I get many men that like to take
- 22:28Speaker 3: me out always, you know, and I'm comfortable in my skin.
- 22:33Speaker 4: I feel, are you okay if you never found somebody again?
- 22:38Speaker 3: And we decided to And you know why because because
- 22:41Speaker 3: I have a full life. I have a beautiful family.
- 22:45Speaker 3: I'm very busy with my kids. I have four kids,
- 22:47Speaker 3: three adult sons and one my daughter has three little babies,
- 22:51Speaker 3: so you're busy. I got my podcast. I have a
- 22:57Speaker 3: full life. So I've had three failed marriage. I mean,
- 23:01Speaker 3: I know what it is, you know, with marriages and
- 23:04Speaker 3: maybe five engagements. It's like, okay, it's not working. And
- 23:09Speaker 3: I think for me, to be honest, I have a
- 23:12Speaker 3: very strong personality. So it has to be a really there's.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Got to be a strong guy that can it can
- 23:19Speaker 4: handle me, but a strong guy and a sense of
- 23:21Speaker 4: his self esteem to die.
- 23:25Speaker 3: That's the difference.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Somebody who's got confidence, like hey.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I let her be who she is.
- 23:32Speaker 2: But sometimes you need that little person to say, hey
- 23:34Speaker 2: listen right.
- 23:36Speaker 3: But somebody that automatically is my nature is to cater
- 23:41Speaker 3: I can't everybody. It's like my kid, what do you
- 23:45Speaker 3: want to eat? What do you want? So I cater to.
- 23:47Speaker 4: That's the Italian thing, you know, That's just the way
- 23:50Speaker 4: Italian moms are that we can't take that.
- 23:52Speaker 3: That's that's genetic. So I just think that, you know
- 23:55Speaker 3: how my life is today, I'm not lonely. I live
- 23:59Speaker 3: in a beautiful home. I have I do have a husband.
- 24:02Speaker 3: It's my one hundred pound piple, you know, and and
- 24:06Speaker 3: uh he's there with me. And I just think.
- 24:10Speaker 2: That one and the kids still home with you, just
- 24:12Speaker 2: no one by.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Myself on a beautiful property, beautiful and the kids come
- 24:16Speaker 3: to me in the summer because I'm the one with
- 24:18Speaker 3: the pool. So it's it's it's nice. It's really You
- 24:23Speaker 3: enjoy your grandkids, and I enjoy my watch them. Yes,
- 24:28Speaker 3: not all the time, my daughter don't take advantage, but yeah,
- 24:30Speaker 3: if they want to go somewhere, me or the other
- 24:33Speaker 3: grandmom will watch.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Like that's the greatest part about being a grandparent. It's
- 24:36Speaker 4: like you could give them back, like all right or not.
- 24:38Speaker 3: But I let my little social circle of friends who
- 24:40Speaker 3: will go to dinner and go out and I have
- 24:42Speaker 3: guy friends, you know, but I don't.
- 24:45Speaker 2: So you have a you have a full you have
- 24:47Speaker 2: a full life, and you're okay.
- 24:48Speaker 3: At this point, Jen, I don't feel like I need
- 24:51Speaker 3: a significant other to make me happy. I'm happy. I'm
- 24:55Speaker 3: a happy person.
- 24:56Speaker 2: You know what.
- 24:56Speaker 4: You know, nobody needs anybody to if you need somebody
- 24:59Speaker 4: else to make you happy.
- 25:00Speaker 3: But you're not there, not happy, You're not going to be.
- 25:02Speaker 4: You have to be happy by yourself and being a
- 25:05Speaker 4: good relationship with you for us to be happy with something.
- 25:08Speaker 2: And that's what you learn as you get older.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I'm comfortable in my skin. You know. If you don't
- 25:12Speaker 3: like me, that's okay too.
- 25:13Speaker 4: And I feel the same way. I'm like, you know
- 25:15Speaker 4: what if I'm with somebody, with someone, if I'm not,
- 25:17Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I'm okay. I'm okay. I can handle it.
- 25:20Speaker 4: And at the end of the day, it's it's hard
- 25:22Speaker 4: to be in a relationship with somebody. It's not easy,
- 25:25Speaker 4: especially in the beginning, like everything is so romantic and
- 25:28Speaker 4: so lustful. You know, everybody's like, how come it's that
- 25:31Speaker 4: romantic and all this all the time? I go because honestly,
- 25:34Speaker 4: that's not true.
- 25:35Speaker 2: That's not a true relationship.
- 25:36Speaker 4: When you start, Yes, that's hard, but you can never
- 25:39Speaker 4: sustain that every day that.
- 25:42Speaker 2: That oh my god, for.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Six months of the relationship is fake in a sense,
- 25:49Speaker 3: because each person is trying. It's lost trying to impress
- 25:53Speaker 3: one another. So the first hand on the knees exciting
- 25:57Speaker 3: the first case, well, everything excite, Everything is exciting. But
- 26:00Speaker 3: after six months then you'll get to know who.
- 26:02Speaker 2: They get your hand off my kney, You annoying me,
- 26:05Speaker 2: bla blah blah.
- 26:06Speaker 4: So but if you could be somebody's friend, friendship is
- 26:11Speaker 4: that's where I find now as I'm getting older.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Friendship.
- 26:14Speaker 2: I forget about the physical attraction. It's a friendship. I said.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I wish I was gad because I would totally marry
- 26:20Speaker 2: like somebody like you.
- 26:21Speaker 4: I would be like, exactly, I'm just I can't do it,
- 26:25Speaker 4: no matter how hard I've tried. And you know what
- 26:27Speaker 4: I in the past, everybody, I just can't.
- 26:31Speaker 3: I like, sorry, culture, we both know the culture. It's
- 26:35Speaker 3: the Italian culture. It's the same.
- 26:37Speaker 4: And but I would I would totally marry someone like
- 26:40Speaker 4: you if I If I did, I would know except
- 26:43Speaker 4: that nice.
- 26:44Speaker 2: When you marry me, I propose, yes, Except because my
- 26:52Speaker 2: last name is Guccio.
- 26:57Speaker 3: I love her all right, Okay, so that's it. We're connected.
- 27:04Speaker 4: So Giovanna, Giovino, Giovanna, I would say that, well Giovanno.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Okayvin, whatever you know, I love it so, I believe
- 27:16Speaker 3: for even younger women there. I think even for young
- 27:21Speaker 3: women watching. It's that when you really get to a
- 27:25Speaker 3: point of being comfortable in your skin, like really comfortable
- 27:29Speaker 3: in your skin, you don't care about anything.
- 27:31Speaker 2: It's well, you're comfortable in your skin.
- 27:32Speaker 4: I wasn't comfortable good until I was in my forties, honestly, Iroba.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Believe fifty probably fifties, you become really comfortable with who
- 27:40Speaker 3: you are. Right now, I'm so like, like I don't care.
- 27:42Speaker 3: It's like like you, I get invited to a lot
- 27:46Speaker 3: of events. I pick and choose what I want to
- 27:48Speaker 3: go to and where I'm going, and I want to
- 27:51Speaker 3: be comfortable. Sometimes I'll get dressed and sometimes I'll wear
- 27:54Speaker 3: a pair of sneakers. You know, it depends on you know,
- 27:57Speaker 3: where I'm going and how I feel and not caring.
- 28:02Speaker 3: You know. It's that when you really like who you are,
- 28:05Speaker 3: you develop and you develop into who you you know
- 28:09Speaker 3: supposed to be sure.
- 28:10Speaker 4: And now I find myself picking and choosing where I
- 28:12Speaker 4: want to go because I'm not always like running to
- 28:14Speaker 4: everything that everybody.
- 28:15Speaker 3: I said, yeah, because I have to come in from PA.
- 28:17Speaker 3: I'm in b County and it's about an hour and
- 28:19Speaker 3: a half an hour and forty five, so I pick
- 28:22Speaker 3: and choose what invent I want.
- 28:24Speaker 4: It takes me an hour to get here from Queens
- 28:25Speaker 4: also from our beach to taste.
- 28:27Speaker 3: So are you familiar with Bucks County? Did you ever
- 28:30Speaker 3: go New Hope? Yes?
- 28:31Speaker 4: I never want to see Pennsylvania. You were again to
- 28:34Speaker 4: go into allan Wood all those.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Years Now it's no way at that. No, no, but
- 28:39Speaker 3: I do no Bucks, I did. Bucks County is a beautiful,
- 28:41Speaker 3: beautiful are It's actually beautiful this time of year.
- 28:43Speaker 4: I did like I did, like the outlets stole over there. Okay, yeah,
- 28:47Speaker 4: I just spent thousands and thousands of dollars of the trip.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Oh my god, let's go to the out let's. Yeah,
- 28:52Speaker 2: that was the best.
- 28:53Speaker 3: It's timing here like Christmas time. There's an area called
- 28:55Speaker 3: Peddler's Village. You still look it up. It's absolutely no.
- 28:57Speaker 3: But I've heard books, they film, they feel. There's several
- 29:00Speaker 3: movies for homemark there. That's how beautiful it is.
- 29:04Speaker 4: Well, I love to come up you could I all
- 29:06Speaker 4: come to Pennsylvania for you? I swear to God, I
- 29:09Speaker 4: would never drive to Pennsylvania.
- 29:10Speaker 2: I could.
- 29:12Speaker 3: I have two guest rooms. You could stay, you could
- 29:14Speaker 3: stay over. I'll show you all around anybody animal. I
- 29:18Speaker 3: have a big piple, but he's.
- 29:20Speaker 2: A mush I love, but I love Piple.
- 29:22Speaker 3: I'll show you he's such a mush that you would
- 29:26Speaker 3: love them. What's his name, Casper? He's old white. I
- 29:28Speaker 3: love it. My purple died, Yeah, she died with the
- 29:32Speaker 3: well mine died, and then I got this one, so
- 29:35Speaker 3: I love him.
- 29:36Speaker 4: I can't believe somebody called me to asked me if
- 29:37Speaker 4: I wanted a poodle just now.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Now I'm not a pool. I was like, why would
- 29:41Speaker 2: think I would want a poodle? Do I look like
- 29:42Speaker 2: I want a poodle?
- 29:43Speaker 4: No?
- 29:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not a poodle. So yeah, basically like life
- 29:48Speaker 3: is good. I always thank Jesus. I always thank God
- 29:51Speaker 3: because I feel grateful today for health and all you know,
- 29:55Speaker 3: just to be healthy and to feel good.
- 29:58Speaker 2: And how old are you?
- 29:59Speaker 3: If you don't my me asking, I am sixty eight,
- 30:02Speaker 3: I'll be amazing.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Wow, yeah you don't look it. Thank you look amazing.
- 30:07Speaker 2: You look so good.
- 30:09Speaker 3: I'm very into health and.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Villas in both.
- 30:12Speaker 3: I never did it, got a common I've never done it.
- 30:15Speaker 2: You would love her, and it's just a little fresh.
- 30:19Speaker 2: I've never I love it.
- 30:22Speaker 3: It's just a little but I do. I've always done
- 30:26Speaker 3: yoga for like thirty five years now. I walk everything,
- 30:29Speaker 3: or you do the hot yoga, no, sa sasa, whatever
- 30:34Speaker 3: it's called. I do that. I do yoga, I do walking,
- 30:36Speaker 3: I do lightweight. I eat well, you look, I look amazed. Smoked.
- 30:42Speaker 3: I never drank. I never drank. I never got drunk.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Even when you were doing all this ship on.
- 30:46Speaker 3: The street, you never drunk, never did drugs.
- 30:49Speaker 2: That's why.
- 30:49Speaker 3: That's why. Yeah, I always had a sharp.
- 30:52Speaker 4: You know who else didn't do drink or smoke with
- 30:54Speaker 4: your drugs, and that's why it's so successful.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Friend Donald too, you know that.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Oh I didn't know that. Yeah, okay, yeah, never did
- 31:02Speaker 3: any of that. Never got drunk, never did drugs, never
- 31:04Speaker 3: did anything. And that's not saying I didn't pick up
- 31:11Speaker 3: drug addicts to try to fix them.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Yes, but well you're the fixer. I was the fix
- 31:17Speaker 4: You're the fixer. So that was that was that was
- 31:20Speaker 4: that was your role.
- 31:21Speaker 2: So I feel like you still try to fix people now.
- 31:24Speaker 3: No, I don't have you put that. Nah, I know
- 31:26Speaker 3: better now. I've had a lot of like therapy within
- 31:29Speaker 3: myself and learned a lot about codependency and you know,
- 31:33Speaker 3: character defects and just people, you know, insecurities and stuff. No,
- 31:37Speaker 3: I'm pretty good with red flags. I can see if
- 31:41Speaker 3: this guy is you know, just not for me, or truthfully,
- 31:44Speaker 3: if he's a bushit artist. No, you know, I could
- 31:48Speaker 3: see by their behaviors, their their mannerisms, how they carry themselves.
- 31:54Speaker 3: My friends call me the PhD. Without the PhD. You know,
- 32:00Speaker 3: you have the school of hot Moss because I have
- 32:02Speaker 3: so much knowledge to people and stuff like that.
- 32:06Speaker 4: And I don't because she never really went to college
- 32:09Speaker 4: because we used to didn't go to high school.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I haven't. I didn't even go to high school.
- 32:13Speaker 4: But but it's funny we used to say was when
- 32:15Speaker 4: we said on another podcast, is that when they when
- 32:17Speaker 4: we used to go away, we say they went to college.
- 32:19Speaker 4: I used to say that army, that prison, and I said,
- 32:22Speaker 4: that's president. And I said, I would never said my
- 32:24Speaker 4: uncle went to college, because they would because uncle.
- 32:26Speaker 2: You know college.
- 32:27Speaker 4: I say it was in the army, not the college,
- 32:30Speaker 4: because he was too dumb, so they would never be.
- 32:33Speaker 2: But it's so, you know, you I don't.
- 32:36Speaker 4: I think that it doesn't matter the most successful people
- 32:40Speaker 4: in the world. Never doesn't have a high school diploma.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Look the mob, sucker bar look at look at all
- 32:45Speaker 4: these billions.
- 32:45Speaker 3: And then people said, oh no, you'll never be in author.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Well I had a big house publisher, do a hord College.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Doesn't mean that you're ignorant. What people years ago didn't
- 32:53Speaker 4: have formal educations? By g dropped out and not when
- 32:57Speaker 4: she was nine years old from school.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Okay, so that's fifth grade, right.
- 33:01Speaker 4: And she was brilliant. She read every day I read
- 33:04Speaker 4: and and she.
- 33:05Speaker 3: And that self educated self educated aside, Like I said,
- 33:10Speaker 3: I could speak and hold my own with anyone three languages.
- 33:13Speaker 4: You know, I can't be that stupid exactly. It's not
- 33:16Speaker 4: about the formal education. It's about you know, you know
- 33:20Speaker 4: the person.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it's about getting out there and doing and you know,
- 33:24Speaker 3: being again comfortable and knowing who you're speaking.
- 33:29Speaker 4: I know a lot of educated idiots, do you know?
- 33:33Speaker 3: Yes, of course I do. Yes, that will educated more wrong?
- 33:38Speaker 4: You like, how did this person get here? Like I
- 33:42Speaker 4: don't even know how? Right, I look at them in astonishment. Right, Yes,
- 33:47Speaker 4: that's it's true. But see and and I bet you
- 33:50Speaker 4: did you ever get that? Sometimes that like they would
- 33:52Speaker 4: look at you because you didn't have a formal education
- 33:54Speaker 4: and get you.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Was speaking engagement. People admire that because I say I'm
- 33:59Speaker 3: not you know, I have if I have a seventh
- 34:02Speaker 3: grade education, and I can get up here, and I've
- 34:05Speaker 3: done so much in my life and accomplished so much
- 34:08Speaker 3: in my life, there's no reason why you people can't.
- 34:10Speaker 3: You know, it's a motivation. It's getting out there, feeling comfortable,
- 34:14Speaker 3: not having anyone make you feel insecure. You know, if
- 34:18Speaker 3: I can't get through the front door, I'm going to
- 34:20Speaker 3: go to the back door. If I can't go to
- 34:21Speaker 3: the back door, I'm going to go through the window.
- 34:23Speaker 3: I get my stuff done. And now I am actually
- 34:27Speaker 3: working with some producers because to get my life story
- 34:30Speaker 3: out there. So for more of a series series of
- 34:36Speaker 3: my life story, we have, but it's it's it's more
- 34:41Speaker 3: for like a bigger network, like it's either like for
- 34:45Speaker 3: Netflix kind of, but yeah, because Netflix just loved that.
- 34:50Speaker 3: When I did Netflix, you know, everyone was asking who's
- 34:54Speaker 3: the woman with the pink jacket because I had this
- 34:56Speaker 3: pink blazer on and a lot of the magazines actually

- 35:14Speaker 3: over the world, all over the world, but all upscale,
- 35:17Speaker 3: you know, everything of honesty, upscale, helping people, helping women
- 35:23Speaker 3: not to go down the road I went down, and
- 35:25Speaker 3: to really change their life and not pick the bad guy.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Because if the bad boys, good looking and old, don't
- 35:31Speaker 3: go with that, do.
- 35:32Speaker 2: You have to? You know, it's so true that we
