- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Almost Famous podcast. It's been here
- 0:09Speaker 2: and my beautiful co host Lauren is with me today.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Here to break down everyone. Oh you had to speak then,
- 0:15Speaker 2: huh we got. We're here to break down season one
- 0:22Speaker 2: finale of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. What a
- 0:25Speaker 2: joy it's been breaking this down the whole season. It's
- 0:29Speaker 2: been fantastic. I've had a ton of fun with it.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna have more fun today than I think I've
- 0:32Speaker 2: ever had doing it because it's over. We made it
- 0:37Speaker 2: to the season finale. Yeah, we did it.
- 0:40Speaker 3: I'm happy it's over.
- 0:41Speaker 4: I'm also very happy to be closer closer to the
- 0:44Speaker 4: reunion because that's where all the tea happens. But also
- 0:48Speaker 4: I'm happy this season is over because I feel like
- 0:51Speaker 4: all of like the little side stories have been like
- 0:54Speaker 4: beaten down, Like I am, over all the storylines we've
- 0:59Speaker 4: seen them, So I think it's time for fresh content
- 1:04Speaker 4: with season two coming.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I would agree with that. I closed this episode out
- 1:10Speaker 2: and I said, Wow, I can officially say I've watched
- 1:13Speaker 2: a full season of Real Housewives, something I never thought
- 1:16Speaker 2: I would say.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I thought that Real Housewives had longer seasons
- 1:23Speaker 4: rather than what is it?
- 1:24Speaker 3: How many episodes? Is that like twelve?
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Ten twelve?
- 1:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought that were like twenty four. Maybe they
- 1:29Speaker 4: did a shorter season because it was the first go.
- 1:32Speaker 3: But jam packed.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 4: And they show a block island and never ever ever
- 1:41Speaker 4: been a block island, but it looks gorgeous.
- 1:44Speaker 2: It does. It's a hidden gym. I've never even heard
- 1:47Speaker 2: of it until this episode, Lauren, Before we go, like
- 1:50Speaker 2: kind of scene by scene breakdown all the things, you know.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I did want to start with a few general topics
- 1:58Speaker 2: because I'm assuming anybody listening the show has probably watched
- 2:01Speaker 2: the finale at this point and is listening in to
- 2:04Speaker 2: get a breakdown of the details that happen, and that's great,
- 2:09Speaker 2: But there are some general ideas as this is the
- 2:12Speaker 2: finale and questions that I have won you are spot on.
- 2:17Speaker 2: The storylines this season were fantastic, and I want to
- 2:20Speaker 2: be honest here and say I enjoyed watching The Real
- 2:23Speaker 2: Housewives of Rhode Island, not only because of Ashley. I
- 2:26Speaker 2: just enjoyed it. I enjoyed it a lot more than
- 2:28Speaker 2: I thought I would. Yeah, I did not have high
- 2:31Speaker 2: expectations for doing this. I was so happy you were
- 2:33Speaker 2: joining me because I knew that you'd be glued in.
- 2:35Speaker 2: But I got excited when an episode was airing, and
- 2:40Speaker 2: I have enjoyed watching the season. But this finale, in
- 2:45Speaker 2: a lot of ways, ends with most of them being
- 2:49Speaker 2: very friendly. Yeah, and that is not what we saw
- 2:55Speaker 2: most of the season. So how are they going to
- 2:57Speaker 2: capture new moments, new things when this group, I know,
- 3:02Speaker 2: the finale or I know the reunion looks like its
- 3:05Speaker 2: own mess. We don't know what that is yet, we
- 3:08Speaker 2: don't know how that goes yet. Let's assume that what
- 3:11Speaker 2: we see in the finale is kind of going to
- 3:13Speaker 2: move into season two? Yeah, how do they create what
- 3:17Speaker 2: storylines exist?
- 3:19Speaker 4: What we still have going obviously is the Rule of
- 3:23Speaker 4: Brian situation, because we're left on a cliffhanger at the
- 3:25Speaker 4: end there where Rosie says, what are you gonna do?
- 3:28Speaker 4: And then she literally goes, I don't know and then
- 3:31Speaker 4: gotta go to the reunion. Season two looks like Joelleman
- 3:34Speaker 4: Liz kind of squashed everything, Kelsey and Rosie kind of
- 3:37Speaker 4: squashed everything. Alisha was drunkenly saying I love you to
- 3:42Speaker 4: everyone at the table, and Ashley said that it was
- 3:45Speaker 4: even like more adorable than what we saw, like just
- 3:49Speaker 4: crying tears of love and happiness for everyone. So I
- 3:52Speaker 4: don't really know what's going to go on. I think
- 3:55Speaker 4: that if I were to create this show, I would
- 3:58Speaker 4: create following new dating storyline really closely. I think that
- 4:03Speaker 4: would be very interesting. I'm sure she's having a lot
- 4:05Speaker 4: of suitors come after her and her trying to keep
- 4:08Speaker 4: her relationship with Billy or Bill or William or whatever,
- 4:14Speaker 4: and then yeah, Alicia could get married.
- 4:18Speaker 3: A whole bunch of different things.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Oh, the Cracker line. She's coming up with a Cracker line.
- 4:23Speaker 4: That could be a great storyline.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I mean. And I do think the Brian rule of
- 4:28Speaker 2: thing will obviously roll over. There will be the stresses
- 4:33Speaker 2: and drama around wedding planning. I hear that. I do
- 4:38Speaker 2: think Kelsey will have an interesting run at this. I
- 4:41Speaker 2: still think Rosie has more to give in terms of,
- 4:45Speaker 2: you know, not drama necessarily, but engagement into the different
- 4:51Speaker 2: relationships and how she grows in her friendships. The one
- 4:55Speaker 2: that sits out there for me. The other question I
- 4:56Speaker 2: have as we kind of kick this off, is Ashley
- 4:59Speaker 2: the show ends. Oh yeah, Yeah, she's still around. Yeah,
- 5:05Speaker 2: the show ends with this kind of you know that
- 5:09Speaker 2: she's still raking in social media deals and still trying
- 5:13Speaker 2: to convince Jared to alleviate himself from Audrey's. Yeah, I
- 5:18Speaker 2: think now's a good time to speak into it, Lauren.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Does she actually want Jared to leave Audrey's because I'm
- 5:26Speaker 2: I'm not convinced that that is where she's pushing him.
- 5:30Speaker 3: She just wants him.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yes, I think leaving Audrey's would be best. She wants
- 5:34Speaker 4: him to leave Audrey's. It takes up too much time
- 5:37Speaker 4: and he could be doing something that makes him actually smile,
- 5:40Speaker 4: So that's the main thing. You know, she wants Jared
- 5:42Speaker 4: to do whatever he wants. It could be bringing zero dollars,
- 5:45Speaker 4: but as long as it's making him come home with
- 5:47Speaker 4: a smile and be home more, then that's great.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Do I know if Audrey's will be around next season?
- 5:54Speaker 3: I think it will be.
- 5:55Speaker 4: They were renewed for another year, so it's going to
- 5:57Speaker 4: be part of the storyline again.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Jared does have a new gig.
- 6:03Speaker 4: He is a host of First Look Now, so I
- 6:08Speaker 4: feel like that could be a storyline where they go
- 6:11Speaker 4: and he's gone, like one week out of the month
- 6:14Speaker 4: or something. So more juggling with the two little ones
- 6:18Speaker 4: and her.
- 6:21Speaker 3: New beauty line.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Ash's coming up with a beauty line that she's creating,
- 6:25Speaker 4: and that maybe part of the show. And I think
- 6:28Speaker 4: she wants to redirect the drama away from Jared and
- 6:32Speaker 4: more onto herself. She would rather talk about herself than
- 6:36Speaker 4: you know, Jared, because Jared didn't sign up for this
- 6:38Speaker 4: and obviously, like a lot of the husbands didn't sign
- 6:40Speaker 4: up for this. Yeah, So she was said that she
- 6:43Speaker 4: would feel more comfortable if it was like the women
- 6:46Speaker 4: yelling at her rather than them making fun of Jared
- 6:49Speaker 4: in any kind of way.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Ashley creating a beauty line makes a lot of sense.
- 6:55Speaker 2: She's obviously been known for her makeup. Yeah, for a
- 7:00Speaker 2: long time. I always tell the story of the first
- 7:02Speaker 2: time I met Ashley. She had a like treasured trunk.
- 7:05Speaker 3: That she yes, I forgot about that.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Where she was doing makeup in the hotel room before
- 7:12Speaker 2: we went to some event. That was my first interaction
- 7:14Speaker 2: with Ashley, and I said, Wow, this girl is so
- 7:16Speaker 2: high maintenance.
- 7:17Speaker 3: She's not I remember when you said that to her,
- 7:20Speaker 3: and she was like, it's good thing that I madeenance.
- 7:22Speaker 3: It's like you actually are.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Actually I'm probably more high maintenance than her, honestly, but
- 7:28Speaker 4: because she can't handle like being uncomfortable for a long time,
- 7:30Speaker 4: being awake for a long time. But like she does
- 7:32Speaker 4: enjoy beauty things and treatments and yeah, just like kind
- 7:36Speaker 4: of Joelle and said too.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's a big deal. Is you think that
- 7:41Speaker 2: will be a storyline in season two? I mean it'd
- 7:43Speaker 2: be good for.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Her, it'd be good for her. They want it, they don't.
- 7:46Speaker 4: I don't think they think it's gonna be that juicy enough.
- 7:48Speaker 4: It's just gonna be like the menopause gummies sort of situation,
- 7:52Speaker 4: like no one really cares about it.
- 7:53Speaker 3: It's good press, but it's.
- 7:56Speaker 4: What she's It's what's going on in her life, Like
- 7:57Speaker 4: what's going on, Like I'm creaty beauty line, so that's.
- 8:00Speaker 3: That's what's happening.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Yeah, good for her. That'll be a lot of fun
- 8:04Speaker 2: and I imagine that it will be as successful as
- 8:08Speaker 2: she dreams. M You know, the cliffhanger at the end
- 8:13Speaker 2: of season one was a great one, and it does
- 8:15Speaker 2: feel like the frustration with Rula has finally alleviated, because
- 8:24Speaker 2: the whole season she's spending in denial and pushing facts
- 8:29Speaker 2: aside and living through this. It feels like blurry shade
- 8:35Speaker 2: of glasses where she doesn't see things clearly, or she
- 8:38Speaker 2: doesn't want to see things clearly, or again, as we
- 8:40Speaker 2: said last week, she's either totally okay with all of this.
- 8:45Speaker 2: But I think moving into season two and the reunion,
- 8:49Speaker 2: we are going to get clear down is she actually
- 8:51Speaker 2: okay with any of this? Because even the scene at
- 8:55Speaker 2: the end of this episode, she mentions that she believes
- 8:59Speaker 2: she's being tracked and then she goes to BMW to
- 9:03Speaker 2: get clear any but she actually has to go to
- 9:05Speaker 2: the police, which then automatically kind of sets off the misdemeanor. Yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 2: and then she gets a no contact order against him.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I still don't know where she stands on all of this.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Does that make sense? Like, I don't know if she's
- 9:23Speaker 2: actually seeing this as a problem.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Doesn't show anger she doesn't, Yeah, yeah, I would be
- 9:30Speaker 4: Like she cried a little bit at the end of
- 9:34Speaker 4: the episode. I think she was just overwhelmed with everyone
- 9:37Speaker 4: staring at her, But we don't see a lot of
- 9:39Speaker 4: emotion from her, which is hard to read. If she
- 9:42Speaker 4: is okay with Brian doing this or not. Maybe she
- 9:46Speaker 4: just wished that he was a little more uh what's
- 9:48Speaker 4: the word, uh, normalier about his indiscretions.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Oh, not a little more normal.
- 9:56Speaker 3: I hate this man so much.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I just can't.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Every ward that's out of his mouth is crazy. I mean,
- 10:03Speaker 4: I don't know if you want to just jump into
- 10:04Speaker 4: when Gary is like talking to him?
- 10:07Speaker 3: Is it Gary?
- 10:08Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll come back to the end of this episode. Now,
- 10:10Speaker 2: let's just start breaking it down seen by scene pretty much,
- 10:13Speaker 2: we'll set up the show. Everybody's heading the Block Island,
- 10:16Speaker 2: not only spouses but also the women who are on
- 10:20Speaker 2: Real Housewives of Rhode Island. They're going to Block Island
- 10:23Speaker 2: because it is this beautiful place that everybody seems to
- 10:26Speaker 2: love from Rhode Island. It is their own little Bahamas.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Why would you go to the Bahamas when you can
- 10:31Speaker 2: go to Block Island.
- 10:32Speaker 4: They say, you go to Bahamas for warmth, because they
- 10:37Speaker 4: were freezing ninety percent of the time here and it
- 10:39Speaker 4: was in August.
- 10:42Speaker 2: So yeah, you go a little south for warmth. You
- 10:45Speaker 2: go to Block Island for the views. It does look
- 10:48Speaker 2: very romantic. It looks like there's a bunch of little
- 10:50Speaker 2: spots to shop at and check in at This trip
- 10:55Speaker 2: is set up by Kelsey. This is kind of Kelsey's
- 10:58Speaker 2: you know, idea and play is the way it's communicated
- 11:02Speaker 2: to us as the viewer, But everybody chooses to go
- 11:06Speaker 2: coming into this island. There are still some things missing
- 11:09Speaker 2: that Joellen and Liz, you know, argument or disconnect is
- 11:13Speaker 2: definitely still a topic. It has not been cleared up.
- 11:17Speaker 2: But very early on at Block Island, the two of
- 11:19Speaker 2: them do sit down and talk and it does seem
- 11:22Speaker 2: like they reconcile. Lauren for you here where I need clarity.
- 11:28Speaker 2: You know. Joellen the whole time was hurt. I believe
- 11:32Speaker 2: she was because Liz told her, hey, we aren't friends, yeah,
- 11:37Speaker 2: and Joeln's like, I see you almost as family. This
- 11:40Speaker 2: conversation points more to Joellen being right than Liz being right.
- 11:48Speaker 2: That Joellen was communicating we do have a friendship. It
- 11:52Speaker 2: might not be the best of friends, but we do
- 11:54Speaker 2: have a friendship. I care about you, you care about me,
- 11:58Speaker 2: And Liz was saying, no, that's not the case. But
- 12:00Speaker 2: this does show that they do have a history. They
- 12:02Speaker 2: do have a friendship, right right, Yeah.
- 12:05Speaker 4: And it's interesting because in Joe Allen's interview, she was
- 12:08Speaker 4: like I'm hurt, and I am used to this because
- 12:12Speaker 4: my mom and I'm just hurt and I'm trying to
- 12:14Speaker 4: get back and i want everyone to be on my side.
- 12:16Speaker 3: It's a pattern.
- 12:17Speaker 4: And then in front of Liz, she goes, you didn't
- 12:19Speaker 4: hurt me, you didn't hurt me, And I'm like, well,
- 12:22Speaker 4: what the fuck? You know, like you obviously are hurt.
- 12:25Speaker 4: You can just own up to that. That would Why
- 12:27Speaker 4: was that so triggering for her to say that.
- 12:29Speaker 3: She was hurt to Liz.
- 12:30Speaker 4: But we did get a slight more clarity on why
- 12:32Speaker 4: Liz escalated so much in the fight. I think when
- 12:35Speaker 4: she was like you put your hands on me, and
- 12:37Speaker 4: it's like, you put your hands on me, and when
- 12:40Speaker 4: when Liz was like you put your hands on me, Joellen,
- 12:43Speaker 4: she's referring to like the soft touches in the car
- 12:45Speaker 4: and like the trying to calm down, like calm down,
- 12:48Speaker 4: hand on your shoulder, a hand on your thigh. But
- 12:50Speaker 4: sometimes that kisses people off more so I think that
- 12:53Speaker 4: was just like triggering Liz and escalating a little bit
- 12:55Speaker 4: more so. That's something we didn't really notice in the fight,
- 12:58Speaker 4: And that kind of made sense to me if I
- 12:59Speaker 4: was really like irritable and someone kept touching me, I'd
- 13:02Speaker 4: be pissed too, And.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I understand that. I just think them reconciling makes a
- 13:10Speaker 2: lot of sense. It didn't make a lot of sense
- 13:11Speaker 2: on how the two of them were gonna go about
- 13:13Speaker 2: hating each other when at the beginning of the season
- 13:15Speaker 2: they were so close of friends. It seemed like, or
- 13:18Speaker 2: at least they knew of each other in some sort
- 13:20Speaker 2: of a way. Plus it really is. It did consume
- 13:26Speaker 2: a few episodes, but it is not the storyline that
- 13:29Speaker 2: sticks out this season. The storyline that sticks out this
- 13:32Speaker 2: season is Rula and Brian.
- 13:34Speaker 4: They know.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Rula makes the speech and apologizes for not being around
- 13:38Speaker 2: a lot. It still is her season. It's her and
- 13:41Speaker 2: Brian are the focus of so many episodes.
- 13:44Speaker 4: I know, And I just gotta say, the thing in
- 13:47Speaker 4: this entire episode that stuck out to me the most
- 13:50Speaker 4: was when they were at the final clambake and Brian goes, well,
- 13:54Speaker 4: thank you to all of you for making us the
- 13:55Speaker 4: most popular couple, and I'm like, oh my god, the
- 14:00Speaker 4: fact that you will take popularity over like any kind
- 14:04Speaker 4: of moral.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Compass is wild.
- 14:07Speaker 4: He's like loving the attention, and he finally owns up
- 14:10Speaker 4: to it, because why would you ever think in your
- 14:12Speaker 4: mind if you're this target.
- 14:15Speaker 3: To be like, well, at least I'm popular.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Like yeah. It also points to why he continues to
- 14:20Speaker 2: show up.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Yes, in his versaces, Water is discussing.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I didn't know that, Vie. Is that what he's wearing? Yeah, yeah, yeah, no,
- 14:30Speaker 2: well that's that's that's a look. But it does make
- 14:34Speaker 2: sense now on why he continues to come to events
- 14:37Speaker 2: knowing he's going to be the target, knowing he's going
- 14:40Speaker 2: to be the topic of conversation, knowing that his wife
- 14:43Speaker 2: is going to walk away from most of these gatherings
- 14:45Speaker 2: hurt and sad or confused. Is because he's just happy
- 14:51Speaker 2: to be known. He's happy to have the popularity. He's
- 14:54Speaker 2: happy to be the one being talked about. Which is
- 14:58Speaker 2: which is a very dangerous and slippery We see it
- 15:00Speaker 2: in reality television a lot. This doesn't end well. It
- 15:05Speaker 2: might be a lot of fun for a few years,
- 15:08Speaker 2: but I'm telling you it will eat you up and
- 15:11Speaker 2: spit you out very quickly into a place where you
- 15:15Speaker 2: don't like it or enjoy it, and then nobody's talking
- 15:18Speaker 2: about you. And so not only does your reputation absolutely destroyed.
- 15:23Speaker 2: The flame has burnt out, and you are sitting on
- 15:26Speaker 2: the sidelines twiddling your thumb.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Can you think of like a villain like this in
- 15:32Speaker 4: like reality television that's like actually made like a good
- 15:35Speaker 4: living afterwards.
- 15:37Speaker 2: No, not necessarily. I mean I think they it's it's
- 15:39Speaker 2: a very quick flame, yea. You know, they're a huge
- 15:42Speaker 2: deal for a bit, and it's maybe a couple of
- 15:43Speaker 2: years even but over time, and most of the time
- 15:47Speaker 2: we see this with people in their twenties. They want
- 15:49Speaker 2: to start families then, or they want to settle down,
- 15:52Speaker 2: or they get in their thirties and they're tired and
- 15:54Speaker 2: they don't have the energy to be villainous anymore. And
- 15:57Speaker 2: then this all goes away because and but that they're
- 16:00Speaker 2: trying to backtrack on, you know how people know them
- 16:04Speaker 2: and be like, no, I've changed, And that's true. Problem,
- 16:06Speaker 2: that's so true.
- 16:07Speaker 3: I have two guys from Bachelor Nation in my head
- 16:10Speaker 3: right now.
- 16:10Speaker 4: I don't know if I want to call him out,
- 16:11Speaker 4: but like, yeah, there were bad bad boys and now
- 16:13Speaker 4: they're nowhere to be found.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Who is it?
- 16:17Speaker 4: Oh, well, we got a shout out Joe Bailey, but
- 16:19Speaker 4: he wasn't a bad bad boy.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Yeah, and then Chad Johnson.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Chad Johnson had that flame. You know that,
- 16:27Speaker 2: You're right, And I think they all go on to
- 16:31Speaker 2: do their own thing at some point and this whole
- 16:35Speaker 2: you know stuff disappears. But yet fans of the show
- 16:38Speaker 2: still know them so true on the show they were never.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Had an active medical practice that they were trying to
- 16:45Speaker 4: keep afloat too.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Yeah, they're also about thirty years younger at this point. Yes, yes, yes,
- 17:01Speaker 2: so we kind of get this whole thing set up.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Billy and Gary talk at the bar. Billy says that
- 17:07Speaker 2: a lot of people are always giving him and Alisha
- 17:09Speaker 2: a hard time because they aren't married. Now. Last episode,
- 17:16Speaker 2: Alisha confronts Billy and says, hey, you never really propose
- 17:21Speaker 2: to me. We get more details of that during this episode.
- 17:25Speaker 2: We see the flashbacks and the pictures of her being pregnant.
- 17:28Speaker 2: We hear her side of the story on how things
- 17:30Speaker 2: went down for the proposal. And this a storyline that's
- 17:35Speaker 2: not talked about a lot, Lauren, but has been a
- 17:37Speaker 2: thread through every episode, is that Alicia and Billy have
- 17:41Speaker 2: been together for a long time. They share a child together.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Her name's not on the house. We do see her
- 17:45Speaker 2: put her name on the business in some way, shape
- 17:48Speaker 2: or form, but she's wanted more responsibility. I have to
- 17:53Speaker 2: before I pass it off to you. Yeah, Alicia drove
- 17:57Speaker 2: me crazy this episode.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Tell me why one.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Maybe it's just the thing. Do people from the Northeast
- 18:03Speaker 2: interrupt a lot?
- 18:06Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 18:07Speaker 4: Oh my god, yeah all the time. And Ashley and
- 18:09Speaker 4: I get in trouble so much for doing it. And
- 18:11Speaker 4: that's why I like honor. I don't get a podcasts.
- 18:13Speaker 3: It was just like no one can get a word in.
- 18:17Speaker 4: But we were like doing fine, like dodging around each other,
- 18:20Speaker 4: but like guess we were like we got to remember
- 18:21Speaker 4: to shut up. Yes, she interrupts a lot Northeastern. Yes,
- 18:26Speaker 4: you blur out everything. And Hunter's family is so calm
- 18:30Speaker 4: and they don't blur out anything. And I can't stand it.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I can't you.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Want people to blurt things out.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Yes, I'm like, just get it out, spit it out.
- 18:38Speaker 4: He'll be like so, yes, I'm like what happened?
- 18:41Speaker 3: I can't do it.
- 18:43Speaker 4: I can't do it, And then his parents will say
- 18:44Speaker 4: something like like I'm sorry, this is actually not about me.
- 18:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna say no.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Good, just like like hey, I'm how are you like,
- 18:56Speaker 4: like this is a thing. I was going into labor.
- 19:00Speaker 4: At like four in the morning, Hunter calls his mom.
- 19:03Speaker 4: He goes hi, She goes hi, honey, and he goes,
- 19:06Speaker 4: how are you? And I'm like, we don't need the
- 19:09Speaker 4: pleasantries and waiting for what your mom's gonna say in response,
- 19:13Speaker 4: Just say, Laurence water broke, We're going to the hospital
- 19:16Speaker 4: right now, Like we don't need the extra bulls, you know,
- 19:19Speaker 4: and there will always be the extra bulls with like
- 19:22Speaker 4: people below, I don't know. I would say Maryland.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean yeah, I don't understand how. And I'm
- 19:31Speaker 2: using Alicia as an example here. Now I preface this
- 19:33Speaker 2: with saying Alicia is a person that I think I
- 19:36Speaker 2: would enjoy being around because she is so cute, innocent
- 19:40Speaker 2: in a lot of ways. She's naive in a lot
- 19:43Speaker 2: of ways. She says all these phrases and sayings like
- 19:47Speaker 2: I thought Brian was going to blow his load and
- 19:50Speaker 2: doesn't really know what it means, like doesn't know that
- 19:53Speaker 2: she has that whole season. And I find that endearing.
- 19:56Speaker 2: I find it like cute in a very like funny way.
- 20:01Speaker 2: She makes me laugh. I do think she had a
- 20:04Speaker 2: lot to drink, but she I don't understand how anybody
- 20:10Speaker 2: hears anybody else or understands the intention or heart of
- 20:15Speaker 2: anybody else when you're constantly interrupting them at the point
- 20:19Speaker 2: where you think you understand what they're trying to say.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Yeah, well, this kind of now brings me back to
- 20:25Speaker 4: the Mask Dinner. Was it the Mask Dinner.
- 20:27Speaker 2: The Masquerade Ball?
- 20:29Speaker 4: Oh no, no, no, it was breakfast at the Newport Mansion.
- 20:33Speaker 4: And Alicia interrupts and says, it's kind of like Beyonce's other.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Half or whatever the.
- 20:42Speaker 4: What is that called when you have an alter ego,
- 20:45Speaker 4: It's kind of Beyonce's alter ego. And Liz was like,
- 20:47Speaker 4: enough enough with the blah blah blah blah.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Because you're not listening. No one's listening to you. It's
- 20:52Speaker 3: a lot.
- 20:53Speaker 4: So that's what she kept doing, and apparently all night
- 20:55Speaker 4: I just talked to Ashley. Aliciha was going Billy Billy
- 21:01Speaker 4: because he was saying, sweetie, stop, sweetie, you're going all overboard,
- 21:05Speaker 4: trying to like, yeah, you know, let her like everyone's
- 21:08Speaker 4: looking at you like that, you won't stop talking, and
- 21:11Speaker 4: so she was getting mad at Billy.
- 21:13Speaker 2: And that's where I got frustrated because it's it started
- 21:18Speaker 2: really with the proposal. She ruined it. Oh, it was
- 21:22Speaker 2: so bad, Like it was really hard for me to
- 21:25Speaker 2: watch because you've asked this guy for something. He granted,
- 21:29Speaker 2: he has years of not doing stuff, and so I'm
- 21:31Speaker 2: not supporting him in his lack of attention to his
- 21:36Speaker 2: spouse or his you know, person he loves. But he's
- 21:39Speaker 2: trying here, and he did a lot to try. But
- 21:42Speaker 2: she keeps seeing saying things that I take as dismissive
- 21:48Speaker 2: or degrading in a lot of ways where she keeps
- 21:51Speaker 2: saying I'm proud of you, billy as he's doing it,
- 21:53Speaker 2: and it's like I don't need your sympathy here, like
- 21:58Speaker 2: I need you to be a part to me, and
- 22:00Speaker 2: you're making me feel less than and I for years
- 22:05Speaker 2: could have made you feel less than because you have
- 22:08Speaker 2: not done anything.
- 22:09Speaker 4: M h.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I got really frustrated.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Yeah, even when the waiter comes over at the champagne,
- 22:15Speaker 4: she goes like, oh, it took ten years for this
- 22:18Speaker 4: or the little like final ease and stuff, and I'm like,
- 22:21Speaker 4: you weren't even present in this moment. He was trying
- 22:24Speaker 4: to make things right and granted he wasn't doing the
- 22:28Speaker 4: greatest job of, you know, expressing himself, but he could
- 22:33Speaker 4: have done better if there wasn't someone interrupting him every chance.
- 22:37Speaker 2: I just got very frustrated with her watching it, Like
- 22:39Speaker 2: I really was frustrated with her, and I thought it
- 22:42Speaker 2: was it was a hard watch for me in those moments,
- 22:46Speaker 2: and it kind of did go into the dinner that
- 22:48Speaker 2: night where she continues to when Rula's trying to share
- 22:53Speaker 2: something from her heart, interrupt Rula and then be like
- 22:57Speaker 2: but Joelle and Joelle and Joellen's like, stop bringing me
- 22:59Speaker 2: into this. This was not about me.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Yes, yes, it's like what are you doing? What are
- 23:03Speaker 3: you saying? Like we already squashes.
- 23:05Speaker 4: I don't need your facilitating and like you saw how
- 23:08Speaker 4: facilitating went and fights last week when you were in
- 23:10Speaker 4: that escalade with Joel and Liz, like just let them
- 23:14Speaker 4: take care of it.
- 23:15Speaker 3: That was wild. Yeah, I was.
- 23:17Speaker 4: I was actually really more irritated than I thought now
- 23:20Speaker 4: that you're pointing things out. But I will say the
- 23:22Speaker 4: conversation with Billy and Alicia and the pros and everything
- 23:26Speaker 4: and getting her name on the house is the next step.
- 23:29Speaker 4: I'm getting my name on my house now. Because Hunter
- 23:32Speaker 4: and I watched it together he's like, do you want
- 23:34Speaker 4: your name on the house? But absolutely so progress has
- 23:37Speaker 4: been made over here.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I mean I think once you're married, though I don't
- 23:42Speaker 2: know what the laws are in.
- 23:43Speaker 3: The state of I still get it right.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah you're still good. So, yeah, she's not married. I
- 23:49Speaker 2: think that's the protective thing marriage. There's a little bit
- 23:54Speaker 2: of risk. It was the first time all season, all season,
- 23:57Speaker 2: I've laughed at Alicia, laughed with Alicia, laughed at her
- 24:01Speaker 2: for her funny sayings. This was And I bet I
- 24:04Speaker 2: wonder if when she watched it back, if she was like, yeah,
- 24:07Speaker 2: I had too good of a time. Like I was
- 24:10Speaker 2: a little too intoxicated for my own liking, and as
- 24:14Speaker 2: a result, my oversharing, over talkative, oversensitive side came out.
- 24:20Speaker 2: It's a great side to have if you're intoxicated, is
- 24:22Speaker 2: if you just get more lovey. However, she wasn't helpful.
- 24:26Speaker 4: So true and if you could, you could see the
- 24:28Speaker 4: pattern because usually on the ferry you have a drink
- 24:31Speaker 4: and then when they arrived at the place on the beach,
- 24:33Speaker 4: they had a drink, and they were out at the hotel,
- 24:35Speaker 4: they had a drink, and then they had the bottle
- 24:36Speaker 4: of champagne and then you went to dinner.
- 24:38Speaker 3: So that's at least that's a couple. That's a lot.
- 24:41Speaker 3: That's a lot of drink, A tiny, tiny woman.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Yes, okay, they're at the Atlantic Inn lauren Lock Island.
- 25:00Speaker 2: It's a beautiful escape for all of them. This is
- 25:06Speaker 2: set up with the proposal reproposal. That day all the
- 25:12Speaker 2: groups gathering together also a Rula and Joellen individual conversation.
- 25:19Speaker 2: This was hinted at then that dinner, but this conversation
- 25:22Speaker 2: I felt like was the most productive conversation either, especially
- 25:26Speaker 2: the two of them, have had since we started watching
- 25:29Speaker 2: this year.
- 25:29Speaker 1: M Yeah.
- 25:31Speaker 4: I mean it was basically like enough, I don't really
- 25:33Speaker 4: need to know anymore, right, Rula was like, it's over
- 25:36Speaker 4: to stop doing what you're doing. And then she's like, okay,
- 25:38Speaker 4: then I'll stop. And that's and they respect each other.
- 25:41Speaker 4: And I could tell that Joel and actually felt bad
- 25:43Speaker 4: because it was getting to a point that she that
- 25:45Speaker 4: Rula was probably going to break down. So she's like,
- 25:47Speaker 4: I'm really sorry you're going through this. This is absolutely embarrassing.
- 25:52Speaker 4: And I thought it was interesting at the end of
- 25:54Speaker 4: the conversation when Brian walks in and Joel and Brian
- 25:59Speaker 4: pass each other and then Brian was like how was that.
- 26:02Speaker 4: It's like, oh, we just had a chat, and then
- 26:04Speaker 4: Brian was like, oh yeah. And Gary also talked to
- 26:08Speaker 4: me and asked me about this video. To me, that
- 26:11Speaker 4: was an extremely important scene because it showed how Brian
- 26:17Speaker 4: is such a liar, because he talks like a liar,
- 26:21Speaker 4: because he rambles and rambles and rambles and says buzzwords
- 26:25Speaker 4: that makes you think that he's agreeing with you and
- 26:27Speaker 4: admitting to things without giving specifics, like there's a video
- 26:33Speaker 4: and he's like, I've made mistakes. There are videos, but
- 26:37Speaker 4: you know what, I think that I don't know if
- 26:39Speaker 4: it was the hormones, I don't know, boo. And it
- 26:41Speaker 4: was like you're saying nothing, Like okay, Brian calmed down.
- 26:46Speaker 4: There is this video from a June second. Is this
- 26:50Speaker 4: the video that you admit to or not? But like
- 26:52Speaker 4: they he talks so much you can't get a worded
- 26:55Speaker 4: and you can't get a straight answer, and it's awful.
- 26:59Speaker 4: It's the most awful thing I've ever seen, and I
- 27:02Speaker 4: really despise him.
- 27:04Speaker 2: It also, Lauren speaks to kind of who he is is.
- 27:08Speaker 2: If you are cheating on your spouse knowing it's going
- 27:13Speaker 2: to hurt them, and you are making excuses to why
- 27:17Speaker 2: you did that that to me, I mean hormones or whatever.
- 27:22Speaker 2: You know, we're all human, right, we have desires, we
- 27:26Speaker 2: have urges, we have excitement, right Like it doesn't once
- 27:30Speaker 2: you get married, doesn't mean that every other good looking
- 27:34Speaker 2: person in the world suddenly disappears. Like that's not a thing.
- 27:39Speaker 2: But you're making a commitment and a decision to say, I,
- 27:42Speaker 2: as a human, am committing to this person to not
- 27:46Speaker 2: hurt them in whatever way possible. And if I do
- 27:50Speaker 2: make the decision somehow, some way and it hurts them,
- 27:55Speaker 2: I have no right to make the excuses to make
- 27:58Speaker 2: me the victim of whatever scenario I'm gonna put out there,
- 28:01Speaker 2: like hormones or timing or whatever.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Yeah what, I don't remember what else he said.
- 28:06Speaker 4: It was like it I don't know, but it would
- 28:10Speaker 4: be so attractive, honestly if he was just like a
- 28:15Speaker 4: woman gave me attention and it felt really nice, and
- 28:18Speaker 4: I went too far with it and I own up
- 28:20Speaker 4: to it, and I cheated on you until this date.
- 28:22Speaker 4: And then if you can start clean, because she's obviously
- 28:25Speaker 4: gonna hear you out and forgive you. It's not like
- 28:27Speaker 4: you have to keep lying. Just that would be such
- 28:30Speaker 4: a better start rather than making the excuse that was wild.
- 28:33Speaker 2: It's wild to me, and it also showed I think
- 28:35Speaker 2: it is a big mark on his character of how
- 28:38Speaker 2: he walks through life. Is I when I make a mistake,
- 28:42Speaker 2: I'm now going to be the victim. I'm going to
- 28:43Speaker 2: turn this and make this about me at some level
- 28:46Speaker 2: so that everybody either feels bad for me or we
- 28:49Speaker 2: go toe to toe on who actually the victim here
- 28:52Speaker 2: is It's very clear in this scenario who's getting hurt.
- 28:55Speaker 2: It's Rula. Brian has been called out multiple times throughout
- 28:59Speaker 2: this season and still continues to pursue this other person
- 29:02Speaker 2: down to the point where allegedly, as Joellen said, this
- 29:07Speaker 2: woman picked him up from jail.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Oh.
- 29:12Speaker 4: I bet that's the only person that would be on
- 29:13Speaker 4: his side at this point.
- 29:15Speaker 2: It's again and I and I get criticized for this,
- 29:19Speaker 2: and I know it goodness, I am far from perfect
- 29:23Speaker 2: and have made a bunch of mistakes in my in
- 29:26Speaker 2: my wake, but it's very frustrating for me to watch
- 29:30Speaker 2: this behavior and it actually like irks me to watch
- 29:33Speaker 2: his behavior. And I do think I would be in
- 29:36Speaker 2: the majority there where I have a feeling I'm not
- 29:39Speaker 2: a lot of people are saying, hey, poor Brian in this.
- 29:43Speaker 2: If anybody, I'm sure there are some trolls out there
- 29:45Speaker 2: that love Yeah.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Trolls that have cheated on their wives and want like
- 29:49Speaker 3: I get it.
- 29:49Speaker 4: They're too yeah, uh yeah, Now I don't. When they
- 29:54Speaker 4: all come down, they've all had their conversations. Joellen and
- 29:57Speaker 4: Rule a talk, Brian and Gary talked. Gary pulls Joel
- 30:01Speaker 4: on the side and says, he just admitted that the
- 30:03Speaker 4: video is real and that there is a video.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Do you feel like he admitted to that.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I do think he said, hey, there's I know there's videos.
- 30:11Speaker 2: He never denied them. He has actually denied it. I
- 30:14Speaker 2: don't know if he's denied any of this other than
- 30:16Speaker 2: coming out with excuses, but in saying, hey, it's AI
- 30:22Speaker 2: and stuff like that, I don't think he's denied any
- 30:24Speaker 2: of it. He's just said and maybe it's not real
- 30:27Speaker 2: or there's a lot of ways you can manipulate things today,
- 30:29Speaker 2: and yeah, he's using all these other, you know, excuses
- 30:34Speaker 2: to surround it. But I do I did feel like
- 30:37Speaker 2: he admitted to it in a very passive way.
- 30:41Speaker 3: That's it.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I do think you could walk away from that conversation.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I don't think Gary was in the wrong to go
- 30:47Speaker 2: to Joel and and say he I don't know if
- 30:49Speaker 2: I would have said he admitted it, but I was like,
- 30:51Speaker 2: he pretty much just admitted that all of this is real,
- 30:55Speaker 2: and he's coming up with excuses now to you know,
- 30:59Speaker 2: go around it. Lauren. This brings us to the clam bake,
- 31:03Speaker 2: and I will say that I talked to Ashley and
- 31:06Speaker 2: Ashley said this clam bake felt like I don't know
- 31:10Speaker 2: if she said the first, but at least one of
- 31:13Speaker 2: the major times that this group really bonded together, it
- 31:16Speaker 2: felt very bonded. So when we watched it and it
- 31:19Speaker 2: did feel romantic and lovely and connected, it's because it.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Was hmm, yeah, no one had grudges that weren't squashed,
- 31:31Speaker 4: and everyone could like look at each other in the eye,
- 31:33Speaker 4: because I feel like a lot of times they'll all
- 31:35Speaker 4: be out together and one person's ostracized because everyone's mad
- 31:38Speaker 4: at them, so they can't like look at them in the.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Eye, and it's awkward for the whole table.
- 31:42Speaker 4: The clam question thing was fun, fun for everyone, but
- 31:47Speaker 4: Rula and Brian, and they also made Jared look silly
- 31:50Speaker 4: and I felt bad.
- 31:53Speaker 3: But also, what do you say? That's your question? You know, like,
- 31:57Speaker 3: what's something that no one knows? It's like I don't
- 31:59Speaker 3: know what, Yeah, I.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Don't know, but yeah, they had they have a great time.
- 32:05Speaker 4: And then Alicia has tears running down her face for
- 32:07Speaker 4: a reason we don't really know. Happiness, sadness, drunk goodness. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:14Speaker 4: And then we already talked about her talking with Joellen
- 32:18Speaker 4: and saying, like, you know that drama that was unnecessary, Lauren.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Do you Ashley gets very excited for this game that
- 32:26Speaker 2: they're playing at the table, overly excited, as she's full
- 32:31Speaker 2: of moments of overreaction.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Yes, yes, because she's like, oh, this is something I
- 32:37Speaker 4: can actually contribute. I'm so excited. And they did not
- 32:41Speaker 4: do the game justice. It wasn't the love and marriage
- 32:43Speaker 4: game show from Cruises. It was more just like ask
- 32:46Speaker 4: hard questions to the table. Usually it's a spouse thing.
- 32:50Speaker 4: And as she got really excited, she goes, oh, I
- 32:51Speaker 4: know everything about Jared, so I can win this game,
- 32:53Speaker 4: and she gets very competitive.
- 32:55Speaker 3: So it wasn't what she thought it was going to.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Be, and I gotta say she wanted me to alert
- 32:59Speaker 4: everyone that the fake bangs was a bad choice for
- 33:02Speaker 4: that weather.
- 33:03Speaker 2: I just think fake bangs.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Yeah, she had fake clip on bangs at that dinner
- 33:09Speaker 3: and it was terrible.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Lauren, Have I told you that? I just think bangs
- 33:12Speaker 2: in general are a bad idea.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Depends on your forehead size. But we won't get into it.
- 33:17Speaker 2: That's just my That's what I tell my wife.
- 33:19Speaker 3: I guess is oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:21Speaker 4: I mean they're They're not great for everyone. She doesn't
- 33:24Speaker 4: need bangs, though, she should show off that face every
- 33:26Speaker 4: chance she gets.
- 33:27Speaker 2: That's true. The lovely Ashley was looking mature and elegant
- 33:32Speaker 2: in her sweater. Good for her, that was a good
- 33:35Speaker 2: look she chose. The game feels organic but also wildly
- 33:44Speaker 2: produced because people are getting the right questions at the
- 33:47Speaker 2: right time.
- 33:47Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Do you think that they were pulling out the clams,
- 33:50Speaker 4: being like, this one's for you, this one's for you.
- 33:52Speaker 3: I don't because Alicia.
- 33:53Speaker 4: Said that it's God, Yes, sir, I'll.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Love untrusting much of Alicia's commentary this episode.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Honestly, it's God God.
- 34:03Speaker 2: The as we close up here, Lauren, this evening this
- 34:08Speaker 2: clam bake is really wonderful, and it does, outside of
- 34:13Speaker 2: a few unique scenarios, it does bring about a closure
- 34:18Speaker 2: of the summer that we've gotten a witness on our
- 34:21Speaker 2: televisions of a bunch of women sharing life together, sharing
- 34:24Speaker 2: stories together, sharing interconnected love relationships together, and then for
- 34:29Speaker 2: the most part, healing relationships. At the end of this season,
- 34:33Speaker 2: Rosie and Kelsey feel like they're in a fine place now. Again,
- 34:37Speaker 2: the reunion will speak for itself, but it does. I
- 34:41Speaker 2: know they showed Rosie's reaction to Kelsey saying that I
- 34:44Speaker 2: don't I think that was editing because it does seem
- 34:48Speaker 2: like they're at least better than they were better at
- 34:51Speaker 2: that point. Yeah, a few weeks ago. Things will be said,
- 34:55Speaker 2: obviously during the filming or airing of this show that
- 34:58Speaker 2: probably will come up at the reunion need to be rehashed.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Maybe that will be another storyline coming into season two.
- 35:06Speaker 2: But for all the crap I've given Alisha during this breakdown,
- 35:11Speaker 2: she is very sweet in her love for these ladies.
- 35:15Speaker 4: You.
- 35:15Speaker 2: At the end of the day, outside of everything else
- 35:19Speaker 2: that annoyed me during this episode that she did you,
- 35:23Speaker 2: I do believe that Alisha just wants these ladies to
- 35:27Speaker 2: love each other, and she wants us to be the
- 35:29Speaker 2: most fun thing. Ever.
- 35:31Speaker 4: I know she would have a great time if no
- 35:33Speaker 4: one fought, and she loves everyone equally, and it's really
- 35:36Speaker 4: nice to see like she doesn't have like a personality
- 35:39Speaker 4: type that she must be with. She would have a
- 35:41Speaker 4: great time with everyone. So I think she is a
- 35:43Speaker 4: great little anchor for the group.
- 35:45Speaker 2: It does make me wonder though, how why Ashley and
- 35:49Speaker 2: Alicia are similar in a lot of ways. Ashley has
- 35:54Speaker 2: probably uh, definitely has more social awareness. However, they're desire
- 36:00Speaker 2: for friendship and for people to get along. Their love
- 36:05Speaker 2: for people of all different you know, walks of life
- 36:09Speaker 2: is both like consistent with each other. How are they
- 36:11Speaker 2: not better friends?
- 36:12Speaker 4: I think that they are better friends. I don't think
- 36:15Speaker 4: they show it a lot in there. She's definitely someone
- 36:18Speaker 4: she hangs out with and always gets along with. I'm
- 36:22Speaker 4: sure they text a good amount. And if you see
- 36:26Speaker 4: I don't know if everyone went to Hayden's first birthday,
- 36:29Speaker 4: but if you see in like the final little clip,
- 36:31Speaker 4: Alicia was one of the girls that did come.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Because they are close.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I just don't think they really displayed it a lot.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, we've really gone over the last couple of
- 36:44Speaker 2: scenes of this episode. We do see Rula telling the
- 36:47Speaker 2: ladies of Brian's arrest. How did Ashley get the invite
- 36:51Speaker 2: to that scene when Liz didn't.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Well, they wanted Liz and Joellen and the other in
- 36:57Speaker 4: the other house okay, to talk more shit, and I'm
- 37:01Speaker 4: sure Reula wouldn't feel comfortable telling Lizard Joe Ellen. Yeah,
- 37:06Speaker 4: because if you tell Liz and she's gonna tell Joellen.
- 37:09Speaker 4: So they had to have their own separate house for
- 37:11Speaker 4: this party. I'm so glad as she got to go
- 37:13Speaker 4: to the house where she'd get more information. Though I
- 37:18Speaker 4: would have loved that.
- 37:20Speaker 3: That would have been very interesting.
- 37:22Speaker 4: I would have asked way more questions as she's like,
- 37:24Speaker 4: oh yeah, yeah, I'm like, how did you find out?
- 37:28Speaker 3: What did you say to him? Word for word?
- 37:32Speaker 4: Rula does offer up something that is a little different
- 37:35Speaker 4: than what we thought. She does think, Oh, he wants
- 37:37Speaker 4: to see where I am so he can go out
- 37:40Speaker 4: and do whatever he wants and knows where I am.
- 37:43Speaker 3: But he may have been.
- 37:45Speaker 4: Worried that she was going to do a drive by
- 37:47Speaker 4: at the Mistress's house and see how close just to
- 37:50Speaker 4: confront her or something that is something I never thought about.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Rula did mention that she had a feeling that she
- 37:56Speaker 2: was being tracked. This is why she went to BMW
- 37:59Speaker 2: in the first place, and she had a feeling she
- 38:01Speaker 2: was being tracked by Brian. This story is still developing.
- 38:03Speaker 2: We're obviously going to get to follow it during the
- 38:06Speaker 2: reunion when we see the two of them sit down together.
- 38:09Speaker 2: I'm unfamiliar, Lauren, if they've been in contact with each
- 38:14Speaker 2: other before the reunion, I mean she did have no
- 38:18Speaker 2: contact order or will the reunion be one of the
- 38:21Speaker 2: first times the two of them hash this out?
- 38:23Speaker 3: Oh you may be between Rule and Brian.
- 38:26Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I think that he like moved back in
- 38:29Speaker 4: the week later.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Oh goodness, I know, all right. As I mentioned, Joelan
- 38:34Speaker 2: does say that she has heard allegedly that the mistress
- 38:38Speaker 2: did pick Brian up from jail, which would just add
- 38:41Speaker 2: to the confusion on how he would be back in
- 38:44Speaker 2: a house with Rula. But she does show a lot
- 38:46Speaker 2: of emotion during the reunion. The reunion looks wild. We
- 38:49Speaker 2: won't go through everything that's said in the preview for it,
- 38:53Speaker 2: but I will say, if you aren't watching real Housewives
- 38:57Speaker 2: of Rhode Island. I do believe the reunion and will
- 39:00Speaker 2: be worth the watch, Lauren, can you attest to that.
- 39:03Speaker 4: Yes, I think a lot of receipts were allowed in
- 39:07Speaker 4: the filming of it, which they don't usually do. Yeah,
- 39:12Speaker 4: so I think some people were allowed to bring their
- 39:14Speaker 4: phones down and show proof of things.
- 39:17Speaker 2: It's only going to get more interesting on the Real
- 39:21Speaker 2: Housewives of Rhode Island. Lauren. Final minute here your thoughts
- 39:25Speaker 2: break down on the first season of the Real Housewives
- 39:27Speaker 2: of Rhode Island.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Again.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Only watched one season of Housewives before and it was
- 39:35Speaker 4: funny and good, but this one was the most jam
- 39:37Speaker 4: packed with drama. It's kind of crazy that this was
- 39:41Speaker 4: a show that I could watch with my husband and
- 39:44Speaker 4: he equally enjoyed it. Yeah, that is crazy. That's never
- 39:48Speaker 4: been heard of in the housewife history. Usually that is
- 39:50Speaker 4: a ladies thing and the men will watch sports. Hunter
- 39:54Speaker 4: was watching hockey last night, very important games, obviously, and
- 39:58Speaker 4: he didn't watch it because you watch Housewives with me,
- 40:01Speaker 4: and that's how good it is.
- 40:03Speaker 2: It is so good. I've enjoyed every second. I am
- 40:06Speaker 2: on the edge of my seat for the reunion and
- 40:08Speaker 2: to continue to watch our very own and favorite human,
- 40:13Speaker 2: Ashley thrive at the reunion while controversy and arguments are
- 40:18Speaker 2: being thrown around. I can't wait to see what her
- 40:20Speaker 2: face does and what she says in the midst of it.
- 40:24Speaker 4: Yes, and husbands are all there too, so that is
- 40:29Speaker 4: probably the juiciest thing. That's probably episode two of the reunion,
- 40:32Speaker 4: Brian really gets his ass handed to him.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Let's go, Let's go. It's been a blast with you, Lorn.
- 40:38Speaker 2: We'll be back obviously breaking down the reunion and then
- 40:41Speaker 2: still here for season two whenever that airs. But this
