Transcript
- 0:04Welcome to a very special edition of Domers Sons, a family podcast on Notre Dame football.
- 0:11I'm Matthew Rose, the first Domer.
- 0:13I'm joined here to my left, Domer number two.
- 0:18Hey, Elizabeth.
- 0:19Hi.
- 0:20Nice to see you.
- 0:21Nice to see you, too Also by my son, William.
- 0:25Hi, William.
- 0:26Hi, Dad.
- 0:27And Calvin.
- 0:30Hi, Dad.
- 0:31Hey, what's up, guys?
- 0:33Today is Sunday, September 13th.
- 0:35It's the day after the Rice game, and this is episode three, our Rice recap and Michigan State preview.
- 0:43As I said earlier, we are joined today by Mama Bear, Elizabeth Rose, our other Domer, and we'll hand out Rice game balls today, recap that game, and give us a Michigan State prediction and preview.
- 0:58Before we start off, I was a little bit, off base last week in the haste to get the pod out, and I forgot to thank some folks.
- 1:06I wanted to thank our hosts for last weekend on that special Wisconsin trip, the Whowell family, Steele and Allison,- two teammates of ours and really, really close friends.
- 1:17Allison Steele hosted us for the Wisconsin weekend up in Door County.
- 1:21We had a fantastic time.
- 1:23Got to share a house with the Fonsecas, Uncle Tony, Aunt Jenny, and the girls.
- 1:29And were joined there also by the Fitzpatrick family, Ray and Colleen, and their three sons, as well as our special Decatur friends, the Diamonds, who have a freshman son, Jack, at the University of Wisconsin.
- 1:43Hey, Whowells, thanks for hosting us.
- 1:45We had a blast.
- 1:47You're the best.
- 1:48Also wanted to quickly do a shout-out to the Irish in the NFL here.
- 1:53Cal, you have a little recap about the New England game and the Uncle Beej and Uncle Tony grudge match that happened?
- 2:00Yeah.
- 2:01Well, as we all knew, Patriots are schedule merchants.
- 2:04And, uh, yeah, so- Drake, Drake Maye, Maye had three inter- Meatball Maye.
- 2:11Yeah, Meatball Maye had three interceptions all in the second half.
- 2:15Julian Love, a Notre Dame alumnus, had one of those.
- 2:19Eli Rairdon had one pass the entire game, and it was a touchdown in the red zone.
- 2:25And Jeremiah Love found the end zone.
- 2:28Against the- The Los Angeles Chargers fraudulent Chargers.
- 2:32And Xavier Watts on this awful Falcons team was very busy today as they lost to the Steelers, but, you know, it's fine'cause he had four tackles.
- 2:43Yeah.
- 2:43So Irish in the NFL, that's who we got so far.
- 2:46I think I even clocked a Tommy Tremble, couple receptions earlier in the Carolina game.
- 2:51Yeah.
- 2:51But that's who I've seen thus far.
- 2:53Let's get on to- Rice.
- 2:56All right?
- 2:5752 to nil.
- 3:02Nil.
- 3:04Nil.
- 3:04It's zero in football.
- 3:06Which football are we talking about?
- 3:07The one you call football.
- 3:09Is that American football- It's real football or the international game?
- 3:13American football for this Domers and Sons- podcast.
- 3:15All right No more nil talk.
- 3:18No more nil.
- 3:1952-nothing.
- 3:20They got, they got shut out.
- 3:21Let's go through this game.
- 3:22On offense, Cal, what, what happened on offense, or what didn't happen in offense?
- 3:27Nothing really.
- 3:28Like, I think we were super efficient.
- 3:30The one thing I'm a little scared about is our running game.
- 3:33I was not super impressed when all of our starters were out there that we couldn't get a great push on Rice, so, you know, break one free.
- 3:40But Nolan James, Aeneas Williams, and even JD Osborne all look great out there, especially Nolan James Jr.
- 3:46Then CJ Carr, definitely had a very good performance.
- 3:52This game he had around 253 yards and four touchdowns, so it was super impressive.
- 3:58But the thing that I was most impressed about is that we targeted a ton of guys.
- 4:04It was super impressive.
- 4:07Okay, I'm gonna be devil's advocate here.
- 4:09I wasn't all that impressed with CJ Carr's accuracy.
- 4:13What do you think about that, Calvin?
- 4:14I thought he was accurate.
- 4:15I Adon't, I Adon't really know.
- 4:17He was 16 of 20.
- 4:18Yeah.
- 4:19Well, he had a lot of high throws.
- 4:20He sent some young- young guy to the hospital.
- 4:25Yeah, yeah, well, he had one hospital throw to Milan Graham.
- 4:27Yeah, I mean I mean, what?
- 4:30I th- I thought his, um I'm out of my depth.
- 4:32I wish you'd cut this.
- 4:34Jayden Greathouse, we got a good performance from him.
- 4:39Even those against Rice, it was nice to see him, go out there.
- 4:42Logan Saldate and Elijah Burress and even Jerome Bettis Jr.
- 4:45all impressed me very much.
- 4:46And then my guy, Matt Jeffery- Mm just killed it out there today.
- 4:53Efe.
- 4:53Efe.
- 4:54Yeah.
- 4:54And shout out to Devin Fitzgerald as well.
- 4:58Yeah, I think the, the passing game's super efficient overall.
- 5:0125 of 33, 360 yards, as you alluded to.
- 5:05Four touchdowns.
- 5:07Those 33 passes were divided between three quarterbacks.
- 5:12We got to see the young guys come in, which is always fun.
- 5:15Got to see a lot, a lot of young guys on both offense and defense, and really excited about some potential opportunities there.
- 5:23Cal, are you worried about the run game at all?
- 5:25Yeah, a little.
- 5:26When we play Miami or even BYU and SMU, I just feel like we have to be able to run the ball.
- 5:31And if we can't run the ball great against, Rice, like we only had 118 total rushing yards and I Adon't like that.
- 5:40Well, how many attempts did we have?
- 5:42It was off 32.
- 5:43Yeah, it was 3.7 yards per attempt.
- 5:46That's not good.
- 5:47It's not good at all.
- 5:48The one bright spot here that I thought was Jonas Walton had a very, very good game, so think we just watch out for that.
- 5:55But Nolan James Jr., he's gonna figure out a way to become RB1 later on in the season to be honest,'cause he had a good game.
- 6:04I'm breaking one of the cardinal rules of, cross-examination'cause I'm asking a question I Adon't know the answer to, but what did you think about the involvement of the tight ends in the offense?
- 6:14I would've liked to see more of them.
- 6:16I feel like we just didn't get the tight ends involved enough, especially James Flanagan.
- 6:22He didn't even get targeted, I think he did.
- 6:25I think he had a drop Did?
- 6:28No, I think, no What am I thinking about Jack Larson?
- 6:31Probably, yeah, you're right.
- 6:32I think he's 85, right?
- 6:34Yeah, Jack Larson's 85.
- 6:35Yeah.
- 6:35Yeah.
- 6:35I just wanna see more involvement with Cooper Flanagan.
- 6:38I am not very happy with the involvement of our tight ends right now.
- 6:42How were they involved in the run game?
- 6:44I Adon't really recall.
- 6:45Not really.
- 6:46I just feel like we need to run a little more like 13 personnel.
- 6:51We have three blocking tight ends, and if we Adon't use 13 personnel, or even 12 personnel, it's kinda pointless to have all these good blocking tight ends and, only bring out one or two, a couple snaps a game.
- 7:05So I'd like to just see more tight end involvement since we do produce a lot of tight ends.
- 7:10Yeah, I'm hoping that Dan Brock's kind of, just easing into the playbook and not showing all of his cards here early on in the season when, like especially against a Rice team that we Adon't have to expand the playbook all that much.
- 7:24William, defense.
- 7:26Tell us a little bit about the defensive performance against the Rice Owls the defense definitely had its, best performance of the year, Kingston Valamuasa coming off that ACL first start, he led the team in tackles.
- 7:41Bryce Young, that was a breakout game for him.
- 7:431.5 sacks.
- 7:46It's nice to see Bryce Young- Yeah have a breakout performance- Well, like- after a great performance last weekend Yeah, um- They certainly were bringing the energy, huh?
- 7:53Yeah.
- 7:54Like- The forced fumble from Adon Shuler was impressive.
- 7:57We There were, five total fumbles, four recovered, which is a ridiculous ratio.
- 8:03And I think that they showed aggression and passion.
- 8:06Yeah, the 14 seconds in, Uncle Tony said how hard it was to get a scoop and score, and we would probably be more likely to score off of a pick six- Yeah than what happened in the first 14 seconds.
- 8:17He kinda, he kinda ate his words there.
- 8:19We all ate our words I think,'cause we all agreed with him.
- 8:21Yeah.
- 8:23Leonard Moore again had a ridiculous game.
- 8:25Yeah threw it, a cross to him one time.
- 8:27Yeah, th- one time in the first quarter and it was batted.
- 8:31I think our secondary, the starters did a really good job.
- 8:36Towards the end, the backups were a little bit shaky, but other than that it was, a good performance.
- 8:42I think that, Luke Talich did a good job of filling,, Te's shoes in the free safety position.
- 8:49And Adon Shuler still had a good game, not as good as last week, but it was a solid performance Yeah, we got to a lot of young guys out there too- Mm-hmm right?
- 8:58Yeah.
- 8:59Joey O'Brian got a lot of snaps.
- 9:02I think he had two tackles total.
- 9:05And what about, 44, our guy Rodney Dunham from North Cackalacky?
- 9:11He had a, he had a fumble recovery.
- 9:13Yeah.
- 9:13Yeah.
- 9:14It was great.
- 9:14He had three total tackles and, he played great.
- 9:19No, it was pretty, pretty inspired performance by the defense.
- 9:22I think it was, I saw a stat on Twitter that through the third quarter Rice had 56 total yards of offense.
- 9:30Yep.
- 9:31It was right around midway through the third quarter that we did a, effectively a wholesale substitution- Mm-hmm on both- Yeah sides of the ball.
- 9:37So, they got, they got, you know, 75 yards or so in that time between midway through the third quarter to the end of the game, and who knows how much they woulda had available to'em if we just kept our starters in the whole time.
- 9:52This is what, in my mind, this is what a championship team does.
- 9:58They tear apart very convincingly, inferior opponents.
- 10:03And so that game two curse that we've had in the past, especially against a Group of Six team, we, we came to play and showed some intensity.
- 10:12And not to be too cliched, I think we left no doubt yesterday- Mm-hmm on the field.
- 10:16I think that KVA was definitely filling a hole in, the explosiveness of the linebackers that we have.
- 10:23Drake Bone isn't the fastest guy, at the middle linebacker position.
- 10:28I think KVA was shooting through the gaps in the offensive line recording some tackle for losses, and he did a great job.
- 10:34Yeah, I really loved seeing him out there.
- 10:36It was a joy to see him back on the field.
- 10:39I agree.
- 10:40Let's recap our score predictions here going over our Rice game predictions.
- 10:46Calvin, big winner this week.
- 10:48Cal, you had 49 to six.
- 10:51So that's definitely the closest to 52 to nothing.
- 10:56So congrats, man.
- 10:57Appreciate it.
- 10:58Just y'all Adon't believe enough in our offense.
- 11:00Yeah.
- 11:00Or defense.
- 11:02So Yeah.
- 11:03I was the, I was, the low scoring, contributor here for the predictions.
- 11:07I had 42 to three, but, impressive.
- 11:10Impressive showing by the Irish overall.
- 11:12All right.
- 11:12Let's let's hand out some game balls and, let's go with our other Domer first.
- 11:18Other Domer?
- 11:23Let's go with the best Domer first.
- 11:25Yeah.
- 11:25Let's go with the- Let's go with the two time- Let's, let's go with the Domer that graduated this century.
- 11:30Let's go with the two-time team captain.
- 11:32Mm.
- 11:32Better than my other Domer first.
- 11:34I, I like, I like, I like my hype man over there, Cal.
- 11:37Thank you for that assist.
- 11:38I get no love for being one time here?
- 11:40Yeah.
- 11:41Yeah, because it's not multiple.
- 11:42That's true.
- 11:43That's true.
- 11:43You're Um- Hey, who was that MVP that one year?
- 11:46Mom.
- 11:47No.
- 11:47I was MVP.
- 11:49MVPs Adon't matter, team captains do.
- 11:53All right.
- 11:53Do I get to talk about my game balls?
- 11:55Would you like the game balls?
- 11:56Yeah.
- 11:57All right.
- 11:58Take it away.
- 11:58So on offense, I really enjoyed watching Nolan James run.
- 12:02I think he has a bright future.
- 12:04I know he's a bit undersized, but I really felt like he had a motor and he was, punchy and I felt like that was gonna be something that we could build off of, particularly as our O-line strengthens.
- 12:15And then I learned a new player this week, Rodney Dunham, the edge rusher, was, really impressive to me.
- 12:21I felt like he was, both explosive and at, at the ball at the right time.
- 12:26And I get a wild card.
- 12:28Yeah.
- 12:28And as a mama, I think, one of my favorite things was to see, the bus's reaction to his own son's performance in the stands.
- 12:35That was a really cool moment to see him fired up.
- 12:37It was a fun game to watch.
- 12:40N- one of those games, one of those few games where There wasn't a lot of anxiety about our team's performance, which was sort of a nice relaxing way to, to watch the game.
- 12:48So those are my game balls.
- 12:50Absolutely.
- 12:51All right, William, game balls.
- 12:53Okay, so my game ball on the defense is KVA.
- 12:57Yeah.
- 12:58Um, he had 1.5 tackles for a loss and led the team in total tackles.
- 13:03He was explosive, and he showed that he's back to his old self, and he's ready to ball out.
- 13:10And for offense, I have Jordan Faison.
- 13:13For the few snaps he was in the game, he looked very explosive and shifty, and he had two total touchdowns.
- 13:21Awesome.
- 13:21What about a wild card?
- 13:22You got a wild card?
- 13:22Wild card I'm gonna go Jerome Bettis Jr.
- 13:27JBJ.
- 13:29Yep.
- 13:30It was a long catch.
- 13:31It was a 56-yarder, I think.
- 13:33Mm-hmm.
- 13:33That was pretty awesome Those are all great ones.
- 13:37Cal, let's walk it through.
- 13:38Yeah.
- 13:39Give us, uh, give us offense, defense, wild card.
- 13:41Yeah.
- 13:41Offensively I had C.J.
- 13:43Carr.
- 13:43I was super impressed with Ryan yesterday., Yeah, he was just accurate.
- 13:47I especially liked the play with Micah Gilbert for his touchdown.
- 13:51Defensively, I have Bryce Young.
- 13:53I think William mentioned it.
- 13:55He had a very, very good game.
- 13:57Two and a half TFLs or maybe it was one and a half.
- 14:00I Adon't, I Adon't really remember.
- 14:00And then my wild card is every single person in the wide receiver room because we were able to trot out a fair amount.
- 14:08Elijah Burris Jr., we showed, like he's a very capable, uh, wide receiver and then I was impressed by Logan Saldate as well.
- 14:17That's awesome.
- 14:17Yeah, big day for the Irish wide receivers, especially, uh, NFL legacy wide receivers.
- 14:22Mm-hmm.
- 14:23You know, I think Larry Fitz's son got in there, JBJ and, uh, Plax's son.
- 14:28So congrats to their families for having their children just do great in this first game appearances for those guys.
- 14:37As for myself, on offense I'm gonna go with Micah Gilbert.
- 14:41Mm.
- 14:41I thought he- I like that.
- 14:42Yeah.
- 14:43Yeah.
- 14:43It was kinda fun to see him do well on the boundary.
- 14:47As we have discussed in previous pods, we need that boundary receiver position to really be shored up.
- 14:53And so if he can get some confidence that he can take forward into this next part of the season, that would be obviously very beneficial to the Irish.
- 15:03Was, the touchdown pass by him your favorite pl- offensive play of the game?
- 15:07Yep, it might have been my favorite offensive play.
- 15:08That was pretty awesome.
- 15:09Mm.
- 15:09I thought C.J.
- 15:10showed some leadership there.
- 15:12Yeah.
- 15:12I, I loved it.
- 15:14I loved it.
- 15:14What about C.J.'s leadership did you like there?
- 15:17He was out of the pocket, he was calm and composed, and he waved him over to the side to pick the spot and threw it.
- 15:23It's pretty awesome.
- 15:24And he got up and got it, right?
- 15:25Yeah.
- 15:25Yeah.
- 15:26He went and grabbed it, for sure.
- 15:27Yep.
- 15:28Defensively I'm gonna go with, Jayden Ausberry.
- 15:31Mm.
- 15:31You know, he's a guy in the linebacker room who doesn't get a lot of the press because Bowen and KVA often take up a lot of the copy, or the, even the word space in pods when talking about our linebacker room.
- 15:46But Jayden Ausberry is just totally dependable, very reliable.
- 15:51He just goes about his business in a very professional way, workmanlike way, and gets the job Adone.
- 15:57I think he led the team in tackles yesterday and just was all over the place.
- 16:02And then wild card I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go kinda similar to Cal's, in a little bit of- Elizabeth, I'm gonna go with the entire freshman class.
- 16:14I thought it was really cool.
- 16:15You can't do that.
- 16:16What?
- 16:16I can do everything.
- 16:19You sure do like your freshmen, Matthew Rose.
- 16:26I do.
- 16:26I do love my, my freshman.
- 16:28I happened to marry one, so that, that was good.
- 16:32It's good for all of us.
- 16:33Yuck.
- 16:35Shouldn't have said that.
- 16:37So, uh, yeah, the freshman class, uh, you know, on both sides of the ball, Elizabeth already shouted out Rodney Dunham.
- 16:44He was fantastic.
- 16:45It was great to see the freshman receivers out there, freshman running back, Osborne, Jonaz Walton, and we haven't talked about our QBs.
- 16:55We got a little bit of, Noah Grubbs action, and even some late, Teddy Gerrard action.
- 17:01Shout out Kennesaw, Georgia.
- 17:03Yeah, pretty cool to see all those guys get touches, get some meaningful game time,'cause they're the future of Notre Dame football.
- 17:13All right, 52-nothing.
- 17:15Up next, Sparty, the Michigan State Spartans.
- 17:20You guys, we used to have a pretty fierce rivalry with Michigan State dating- Yeah all the way back to 1966 in the fabled one versus two match up.
- 17:31For the Michigan State preview, I'm gonna hand it over to William.
- 17:36All right, so Michigan State is 2-0.
- 17:39They have a new coach, Pat Fitzgerald, and, they beat Toledo 30 to 20 and Eastern Michigan 35 to seven.
- 17:49So those are two not so worthy opponents, but, against Eastern Michigan they looked kinda rough in the first half but they took control after halftime.
- 17:58The big thing for Notre Dame is to stop the run and make, Michigan State chase Notre Dame's coattails and try to keep up with them.
- 18:06The big playmaker for Michigan State is the running back Cam Edwards.
- 18:11He had two touchdowns and 150 yards against Eastern Michigan, and he's very important to contain.
- 18:18And they've got a QB Alesso Milivoc.
- 18:24Is that how you say it?
- 18:25Good job.
- 18:26Yeah.
- 18:26I think that sounds right.
- 18:27Yeah, and he threw for 170 passing yards and two touchdowns against Eastern Michigan.
- 18:33He's not so mobile.
- 18:34He's more of a pocket presence, which I think is a better for Notre Dame because of their secondary.
- 18:41Charles Taplin is their number one wide receiver.
- 18:45He's, he's an explosive player and he's kind of a highlight reel machine so far into Michigan's season ev- even though they played Toledo and Eastern Michigan.
- 18:55Their defensive standout is Jordan Hall, a linebacker, but, he actually missed the Eastern Michigan game due to injury.
- 19:03Michigan State's kicker is also very reliable.
- 19:06He had, five field goals last week against Eastern Michigan, and he's really good.
- 19:13Yeah, I think I also included a 52-yarder too.
- 19:17The three most important things for Notre Dame is just stop the running game.
- 19:22Michigan State wants to control the clock, drain it, and not give Notre Dame time to score.
- 19:29And we've gotta start out explosive.
- 19:31Put them on their heels.
- 19:33Attack in the run and in the pass.
- 19:36Um, get those chunk play yardage.
- 19:39And the best match up for Notre Dame is, Michigan State's offensive line versus our defensive line.
- 19:47Michigan State's line is very weak.
- 19:50They lost a lot of players to, the transfer portal and they've got a lot of holes there.
- 19:56Michigan State is more dangerous than Rice if Notre Dame lets them hang around.
- 20:02But if, Notre Dame can control the line of scrimmage it'll be a blow out for sure.
- 20:09Awesome.
- 20:09Awesome.
- 20:09Yeah.
- 20:09We finally got, I think get a more traditional, uh, quarterback, like you said- Yeah a drawback passer.
- 20:15So that's gonna allow our defensive line to shine- Mm-hmm like you said.
- 20:19I'm excited to see what this defensive line can do.
- 20:23Like you said, if we can put them away early, to me that also means just also win the turnover margin battle.
- 20:29We are fortunate we are now plus 6, two games into the season.
- 20:34Haven't turned over the ball once.
- 20:37I'm knocking on wood here.
- 20:39And if we can continue being positive in the turnover margin, I, I just Adon't know how Michigan State sticks around through four quarters against us.
- 20:51Cal, what are you thinking?
- 20:53I agree with you.
- 20:55It's, it's a night game at Notre Dame.
- 20:57Our fans are gonna be rowdy.
- 20:59I Adon't know exactly what to expect out of Michigan State.
- 21:03They lost their their starting quarterback and their best wide receiver in the portal, i'd expect more of a, a lot more of a physical game closer to the Wisconsin one.
- 21:11For sure.
- 21:13Yeah, I agree.
- 21:14I think they'll, they're well-coached, they'll be ready to play, and I agree with Cal, it will be more physical and, I look forward to seeing how our offensive line continues to gel and progress, and hopefully we can be a little bit more dominant, in a showing where we're really controlling the line of scrimmage.
- 21:30Do you think Pat Fitzgerald, had the freshmen do any any initiation activities?
- 21:37I Adon't get the joke.
- 21:39Pat Fitzgerald was the Northwestern coach, and he- Oh.
- 21:42I think, I think, I think he was, uh, investigated and cleared.
- 21:46I think he was too.
- 21:47Yeah.
- 21:47I think he actually got a fair amount of money in a wrongful termination lawsuit- Yeah their counselor.
- 21:53Well, I think that's right.
- 21:54Yeah, yeah.
- 21:55All right.
- 21:56Let's get some game predictions here.
- 21:58elizabeth, what are you thinking?
- 22:02I think it is gonna be, 38 to six.
- 22:06I think they're gonna have a couple drives, but we're gonna be able to keep them out of the end zone.
- 22:09I'm hoping that keeping teams out of the end zone is gonna be a point of pride for this defense, and something that's fun to rally around.
- 22:16Hoping that we run the clock quite a bit because we have such a successful run game.
- 22:21Also think we'll get a, we'll get a field goal in there.
- 22:23I think we'll do something where we are a bit adventurous, and maybe that doesn't turn out, but we've got a good field goal kicker.
- 22:30And so that's my prediction, is 38 to six.
- 22:33Irish.
- 22:35Calvin, do you wanna give us a game prediction?
- 22:38I'm gonna go 42 to seven.
- 22:39I think they'll get into the end zone once, but not again.
- 22:43Let me get 42 to 10.
- 22:4642 to 10?
- 22:47Yeah.
- 22:47Okay.
- 22:48Adon't...
- 22:49I know what you're gonna do.
- 22:50The price is right or is that the- No He's gonna go, like, one point up.
- 22:56Yeah.
- 22:56Is that what you're- I'm not.
- 22:57I'm actually not.
- 22:58I'm actually not.
- 22:59I'm gonna go 42 to nine.
- 23:02I think Michigan State's kicker is gonna have- You did exactly what he said you were gonna do.
- 23:07Yes.
- 23:08I had 42 to nine in my head before he even said anything.
- 23:11But he goes,"You're gonna go one off." And you go,"No, I'm not." And then you go,"42 to nine." He said, he said, he said one higher.
- 23:16I didn't say 43 to 10.
- 23:18Oh, I got it.
- 23:19Okay.
- 23:19Excuse me.
- 23:22I'm the one point swing.
- 23:2242 to nine, three field goals.
- 23:24That's what I got.
- 23:25All right.
- 23:26Awesome.
- 23:26Awesome.
- 23:27For our next segment we are doing the starting 11.
- 23:30Last week full of controversy.
- 23:33Some, uh, some wild stuff here.
- 23:36I, I think it's still being adjudicated.
- 23:38Yeah.
- 23:39And so- The deal is if Dad gets a point this week, then I also get a point Oh, that's what we agreed on.
- 23:46That's what we agreed on I Adon't know about that That's what William said, and so that's what we agree on No, no, no, no, no So for the rules of Starting 11, just to remind everybody, two of us choose one player on the two deep, and the third person has got 11 questions to try to figure out who that player is.
- 24:09And we're keeping track over the course of the season, and we'll figure out who the winner is at the end of the season.
- 24:17All right start guessing, boy.
- 24:21All right.
- 24:22Is this a offensive player?
- 24:26No.
- 24:26No.
- 24:27Is this a defensive player?
- 24:29No.
- 24:29No.
- 24:30Is this a special teams player?
- 24:32What do you think?
- 24:33If it's not offensive or defensive, what else could it be?
- 24:36Give it to him, Cal.
- 24:37Give it to him.
- 24:37I Adon't, I Adon't trust you guys.
- 24:39That's three.
- 24:39I'm gonna burn it.
- 24:40That's three.
- 24:40What was the answer?
- 24:42Yes.
- 24:42Yes.
- 24:43Yes.
- 24:44So that's three.
- 24:46All right.

- 25:32Mm.
- 25:33Dude, you're folding.
- 25:34Pressure.
- 25:35It might not even be on the depth chart.

- 25:37Who knows?
- 25:39They have to be on the two deep.
- 25:41Is this- Right, no Jasper Scaife?
- 25:43Yes.
- 25:44Yes.
