- 0:00Speaker 1: I have to bring a debate to the table because
- 0:02Speaker 1: I feel like I need both sides of the argument.
- 0:10Speaker 1: So the Guardian actually had this whole debate because this
- 0:14Speaker 1: woman wrote in and said she dreads every time her
- 0:17Speaker 1: friend comes to stay with her. Not because she doesn't
- 0:19Speaker 1: like her friend or they get in an argument, but
- 0:21Speaker 1: this friend always brings her dog with her. And she's like,
- 0:25Speaker 1: is it okay for me to say, no, don't bring
- 0:27Speaker 1: your dog? But then she knows if her friend comes,
- 0:30Speaker 1: then her friend's got to find a babysitter for the dog.
- 0:32Speaker 1: And it's really difficult for her friend. But then she
- 0:33Speaker 1: feels like she's not being a good friend. But she
- 0:35Speaker 1: also feels like her friend's not being a good friend
- 0:37Speaker 1: by just expecting the dog to be able to go
- 0:39Speaker 1: everywhere she goes.
- 0:41Speaker 2: So I was like, I mean, if it's me, I.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Guess I would kind of feel like it depends on
- 0:45Speaker 1: the dog. Like if it's a two pound dog that
- 0:47Speaker 1: doesn't really, you know, two, 10 pound dog that doesn't
- 0:50Speaker 1: really like eat stuff and really isn't a bother, then
- 0:53Speaker 1: I don't think I would really care.
- 0:55Speaker 2: But if it's like a huge dog.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And I feel like it may be a different story.
- 0:59Speaker 1: So for me, I'm kind of like, I guess I
- 1:00Speaker 1: could see both sides, but I need to hear your perspective.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Mine?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Everyone.
- 1:05Speaker 2: So me being a dog person has a dog rescue.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I think you'll be similar. What do you think I'm
- 1:09Speaker 2: going to say?
- 1:10Speaker 3: No problem.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I feel like you're going to say you don't want
- 1:12Speaker 1: anyone at your house ever anyways.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Well, I think this is interesting because this is actually
- 1:19Speaker 2: something that's come up in my house as well. Our dog, Pablo,
- 1:23Speaker 2: you guys know Pablo. You met Pablo. He's a beautiful dog.
- 1:26Speaker 2: And my answer to your question is I don't think
- 1:27Speaker 2: it matters the size. I think it matters how trained
- 1:29Speaker 2: and how well-behaved the dog is because we have some
- 1:31Speaker 2: friends that have a dog just like Pablo. And he's
- 1:33Speaker 2: one of those service dogs. He's been trained. And he
- 1:35Speaker 2: goes on airplanes and he goes to parties and he
- 1:38Speaker 2: hangs out. He goes to restaurants and he's an extremely
- 1:40Speaker 2: well-behaved dog. The dog's name is Utah. You know why?
- 1:43Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:43Speaker 2: Because they got him in Utah. Okay.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Cute.
- 1:45Speaker 2: And he's so well-behaved. He's like a human being. And
- 1:48Speaker 2: he looks just like Pablo. So we're at a 4th
- 1:49Speaker 2: of July party, and Utah's hanging out in a house
- 1:52Speaker 2: in the backyard, and Blake's like, I want to bring
- 1:55Speaker 2: Pablo everywhere we go now. I'm like, Pablo's not trained.
- 2:00Speaker 2: And she's like, it doesn't matter. He's a good dog.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I go, no, he's not a good dog. Like, last night,
- 2:05Speaker 2: Pablo was standing on our dining room table.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 2:08Speaker 2: And I look at Blake, and I go... Well-trained dog.
- 2:13Speaker 2: If he was at a 4th of July party, he'd
- 2:14Speaker 2: be on the table. People would tell us to leave
- 2:17Speaker 2: the party. She does. She seems to have blinders on
- 2:19Speaker 2: and does not understand that. So I don't want people
- 2:22Speaker 2: coming over to my house with their dogs, no matter what,
- 2:24Speaker 2: no matter how well they are because of my dogs.
- 2:26Speaker 2: So that's kind of where I am. I don't, I'm
- 2:29Speaker 2: against it. Peyton.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I am not necessarily like I grew up with
- 2:33Speaker 4: a dog and I loved my dog, but I only
- 2:35Speaker 4: really liked my dog. I'm not truthfully like really a
- 2:39Speaker 4: dog person because I think they stink and I think
- 2:41Speaker 4: they get in the way of things. And I think
- 2:43Speaker 4: that they pee on things that they shouldn't pee on.
- 2:44Speaker 3: I didn't even know you grew up with a dog.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I've never heard you talk about your dog.
- 2:47Speaker 4: His name was Busta. May he rest in peace. We
- 2:49Speaker 4: also had a Doberman growing up and her name was Jade.
- 2:52Speaker 4: I grew up with dogs, but I didn't grow up
- 2:55Speaker 4: with like dogs. I like to call my boyfriend, not
- 2:57Speaker 4: my boyfriend, my brother's boyfriend's dog. It's like their little
- 3:00Speaker 4: rat dog. He's like a little white, little old looking
- 3:03Speaker 4: nasty little thing. I don't like it when he comes over.
- 3:06Speaker 2: So you and I kind of on the same page.
- 3:09Speaker 2: For me, it's not about I don't like dogs. Mine
- 3:11Speaker 2: is I want well-behaved dogs in my house.
- 3:14Speaker 4: I don't want your dog because then it's sniffing on
- 3:17Speaker 4: me while I'm trying to take my nap.
- 3:18Speaker 2: No, none of that bothers me. the misbehaving dogs and
- 3:21Speaker 2: i have five dogs and they all misbehave like it's
- 3:24Speaker 2: embarrassing when people come over and they just start doing
- 3:26Speaker 2: it's terrible.
- 3:26Speaker 1: But if it was your really good friend okay never
- 3:29Speaker 1: mind judging hey if it was your really good friend.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Like my sister she comes over with her.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Dog okay would you say no to your sister no
- 3:37Speaker 1: i can't i know see that's the that's the problem
- 3:40Speaker 1: she feels like she can't say.
- 3:41Speaker 4: No i would tell my friend sorry you can't bring
- 3:43Speaker 4: your dog.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Not only did we have one of Stacy's aunts asked
- 3:47Speaker 5: to keep, she has two giant poodles, like standard poodles.
- 3:51Speaker 5: One of them's pretty nice and the other one's a madman,
- 3:54Speaker 5: like everywhere. But she said, could I, since I'm moving
- 3:57Speaker 5: back in the town, stay at your house with my dogs?
- 4:01Speaker 5: And because my dogs don't like other dogs, could you
- 4:03Speaker 5: take Django and Nigel and put them together? in like
- 4:07Speaker 5: a pet hotel. We've done that.
- 4:09Speaker 2: We've done when my sister came to visit, we put
- 4:11Speaker 2: our dogs in the babysitter.
- 4:13Speaker 3: We're putting our dogs in a pet hotel.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:16Speaker 3: So your dogs that are kind of crazy can kind
- 4:18Speaker 3: of roam.
- 4:19Speaker 2: So you're spending money. Yeah. You're spending money so their
- 4:21Speaker 2: dogs can be comfortable. Wow. We did that one time
- 4:24Speaker 2: and I got so upset. I was like, no more,
- 4:25Speaker 2: no more.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I would feel rude asking somebody that.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I would rather my dogs, this happened with my sister.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I was going to say when she comes over with
- 4:32Speaker 2: her dogs and if our dogs attack and kill her dogs,
- 4:34Speaker 2: that's on her. so she should have put him in
- 4:38Speaker 2: a hotel i said.
- 4:39Speaker 3: No by the way to the the dogs in that
- 4:42Speaker 2: Hotel wow interesting subject thank you kyle for bringing it
- 4:44Speaker 2: up you're welcome if this world
