- 2:03This is basically the start of this episode.
- 2:06Can be all plugs, just so you know.
- 2:07Anyways, I did just come back from the cruise and while I was
- 2:14away, I was posting to my Patreon updates during my
- 2:20vacation and I told them my Patreon subscribers before I
- 2:24went on the cruise. I told them, hey, there's not
- 2:27going to be a podcast, any podcast episodes while I'm away.
- 2:30But obviously I want to still keep you guys updated and send
- 2:33you updates and things like that.
- 2:34So I was kind of posting various photos and little messages and
- 2:38updates while I was away from on board the cruise.
- 2:42And those are really fun and on board the cruise, I've collected
- 2:48things have happened on the cruise and I'm saving pretty
- 2:53much most of all these stories and happenings and go ONS from
- 2:59that Atlantis cruise exclusively for my Patreon subscribers.
- 3:03So my pay subscribers, they always get an additional podcast
- 3:07episode, which is called Uncut. It comes out every weekend and
- 3:11it will be on the upcoming Uncut episode that will come out this
- 3:15Sunday. I think it will come out on
- 3:17Sunday this week that I'm going to let all the tea and all the
- 3:21juice out from my time on the cruise.
- 3:25There's some juicy. There's some juicy.
- 3:27Well, not like tea, not like tea as in like other people's tea.
- 3:30There's, there's some very personal stuff that's going to
- 3:32come out on this week's episode of uncut.
- 3:36Either this will be like an extremely long episode of Uncut
- 3:39or I will split it into two because I feel like once I start
- 3:44talking about that stuff, I'm not going to shut the fuck up.
- 3:47So if you want to be part of the Patreon, go check.
- 3:52And there's also obviously link down below.
- 3:55I use my Patreon the way a lot of people would use their Tik
- 4:00Toks, their Instagrams, their regular social media.
- 4:04But on my Patreon, I feel like I can actually have two way
- 4:10conversations with the subscribers that are like fun to
- 4:14have. I'll post something, people will
- 4:16comment on it, I'll post a podcast and then people will
- 4:19like ask me questions about certain things.
- 4:21Whereas like me posting something onto my personal
- 4:24Instagram account, it's like, OK, sure, it's fine, but like
- 4:30it, it just out there, it doesn't really create that much
- 4:35value. But you know, I like when I post
- 4:37something on my Patreon, I should have a discussion about
- 4:40the things I post on there. You know, when I post it on my
- 4:43Instagram, it's just like, OK, like X number of people liked it
- 4:45or saw it. It's like, OK, what now?
- 4:48So I kind of just use my Patreon.
- 4:51Instead of like tweeting something on Twitter, I will
- 4:54post it onto my Patreon. Instead of posting a photo onto
- 4:57my Instagram, I post it onto my Patreon.
- 4:59And I love doing the podcast now because I apparently because I
- 5:04talk so goddamn much, all the stuff I would want to like talk
- 5:09and discuss about becomes a special podcast episode.
- 5:12The uncut episodes on my Patreon.
- 5:15So Patreon is linked down below. You can also follow me for free
- 5:18on Patreon. You get like blurred up previews
- 5:22of stuff. I think you can.
- 5:26Oh, I think you do. If you follow me for free on
- 5:28Patreon, I think you do get like preview of like the first X
- 5:31minutes of the uncut episodes. But anyways, I can, it's going
- 5:36to be very juicy. The uncut episode coming up
- 5:40where I'll talk about what I went through on the cruise.
- 5:43It's going to be personally juicy.
- 5:45It's not it's not tea on other people.
- 5:46It's not give a fuck about others on my Patreon.
- 5:48It's all about me. I'm the star, but it it's going
- 5:51to be juicy. OK, so just all the plugs I
- 5:54wanted to get out of the way. I'm I'm very excited and a
- 5:59little bit scared to record the uncut episode.
- 6:02I've been writing down all the things, all the topics that I
- 6:06want to talk about that happened on the cruise on a cut.
- 6:11It's been a long time since I've been so psyched to record an
- 6:14uncut episode and looking at the list, like honestly, I don't
- 6:18know if a regular size uncut podcast episode is gonna fit
- 6:22everything. So now is a great time to oh,
- 6:27also on Patreon. I also do my travel vlog.
- 6:30So my mid and upper tier subscribers, they get my travel
- 6:34vlogs. Every time I travel anywhere, I
- 6:36will vlog it. And I did do a vlog.
- 6:39I did record content on the cruise.
- 6:41I'm a little scared that the video for this podcast episode
- 6:45that goes onto YouTube for free, I'm a little bit scared the
- 6:50video is going to be like effed up as I look at the camera
- 6:53because I have this fancy camera that I just got and it records
- 6:57all of these podcast episodes for me.
- 6:59But it's also the camera I took on to the cruise to film a bunch
- 7:04of like really fancy looking content because I'm going to
- 7:06make it after movie on this cruise that's also going to my
- 7:09YouTube channel. And to film that fancy footage,
- 7:14I changed a bunch of settings on the camera and I just put the
- 7:19camera back. I just pulled out my suitcase
- 7:21just now and I popped it back into my tripod in my dining room
- 7:25to record this podcast episode. And I'm looking at it.
- 7:28I'm like, I hope I changed like the 50 settings back properly,
- 7:33all the settings it needs to record the podcast.
- 7:36But I changed so many settings. It was like basically almost
- 7:38like using a different camera when I was filming various
- 7:42things on the cruise ship with this camera.
- 7:45It was like so many different buttons and functions that I
- 7:47never ever use on this camera besides trying to be all fancy.
- 7:50Like. That's another to do for me as
- 7:53well. If you haven't seen my YouTube
- 7:55channel, by the way, this whole podcast episode, it's just me
- 7:58plugging my shit. We're about 8 minutes and you
- 8:00already know this, but yeah, by my YouTube channel.
- 8:03Go check it out. But there will be some YouTube.
- 8:07There'll be at least that one after movie from the cruise
- 8:11coming out eventually whenever I get around to doing it.
- 8:15And that's the kind of like the main thing I wanted to talk
- 8:17about today. I can put my laptop away now.
- 8:19I've been back I got back from the cruise on Sunday and this
- 8:23going up on Thursday. By the time this goes up, I've
- 8:28been, I would have been back for like half a week or like 4 days
- 8:31and I don't think I've done any actual work.
- 8:33I didn't do well, I did do work on the cruise like you know, I
- 8:37did work on the cruise in the sense that, you know, taking all
- 8:42those videos with my camera on the cruise was quite, quite a
- 8:48bit of work and you know, it was a bit exhausting.
- 8:53It wasn't just filming like the parties.
- 8:55I wanted to film like the various entertainers that were
- 8:59on the cruise and there was an EDM concert.
- 9:02We had some like great entertainers on the cruise and I
- 9:05wanted to showcase those. And I also wanted to showcase
- 9:08some of the other less flashy parts of an Atlantis cruise, for
- 9:14example, you know, like obviously like the dance
- 9:16parties, EDM stuff, like the big, the big headline
- 9:19entertainers, those always get the spotlight.
- 9:23But I also wanted to show, you know, there are other things
- 9:27going on on the cruise besides partying and like going to these
- 9:31like, you know, headline shows of the theatre.
- 9:33There's like a whole bunch of other things that you can do in
- 9:36addition to filming, filming the vlog.
- 9:39So all the filming I was doing, it was actually quite tiring
- 9:44because also was rooming with a couple of good friends on the
- 9:47cruise. So David, you guys have seen on
- 9:49the occasional YouTube video on my channel and also our other
- 9:53friend Brandon. The three of us were roommates
- 9:56together and like we all we all party like we all go to all the
- 10:00parties. So I was partying with them and
- 10:02we have other friends that and other people that we know on the
- 10:04cruise. So it was like party cruise for
- 10:06us and we wanted to see the shows and we knew other people
- 10:09and we wanted to like, get dinner together and like, I also
- 10:13needed to like, do all this extra filming and everything.
- 10:16So it was actually a little bit of a tiring cruise.
- 10:21And I did make it to every party somehow.
- 10:25I'm not sure why. I didn't even know how I made it
- 10:28to every party, but the last night on the cruise, the last
- 10:34night on the cruise, you know, like there is something called
- 10:36the last dance, which is just like literally what it says on
- 10:40the tin, which is the last dance.
- 10:43It's you know, like your final chance to have a little party,
- 10:46have a little dance before we wake up early the next morning.
- 10:49Have to like get off the ship. I went and did that for like
- 10:52literally 1520 minutes and I was like, you know what, I need to
- 10:56like turn in early, but I was just a little bit, I wasn't
- 10:59super tired, but I was like, I just wasn't in like a super
- 11:04party mood that very last night and like we had already packed
- 11:08and everything by then. But at least it was a good
- 11:13experience flying home. You know, sometimes it's a
- 11:16little bit of a mess getting out of the port in Miami to the
- 11:21airport, but we actually had the smoothest experience leaving the
- 11:27port and getting to the airport that I've had personally in, I
- 11:31don't know, several years. So that like worked out really
- 11:34well for me and David to get to the airport.
- 11:37But yeah, it was, it was a pretty fun cruise, we think.
- 11:41Yeah, we knew like some people on it was really great to like 2
- 11:45really good friends and like kind of share the room together.
- 11:48It was like a little, it was a little crazy.
- 11:50We definitely did not have any sort of parties or get
- 11:53togethers. We occasionally had some people
- 11:57randomly dropped by, but it was literally like close friends of
- 12:01ours very occasionally would come into our room just because
- 12:05like we're supposed to meet up before dinner or just for little
- 12:07things like that. Not for like any extended hang
- 12:09sessions. But I think all three of us
- 12:13wanted the room to kind of just be like a peaceful place just
- 12:20for like the three of us. We're we're not, we don't host
- 12:25parties. Like I don't like hosting
- 12:27anything. If I wanted to go to some
- 12:29private thing, I would probably see if any of my friends knew if
- 12:35like there was something going on.
- 12:38The thing is if we host, we have to first of all hosting takes
- 12:43work and effort and 2nd we have to do clean up.
- 12:46And I don't want my room where I come back to like go to the
- 12:50bathroom and chill and sleep to have like all these other people
- 12:55like crawl over it. So I never would want to like
- 12:59host anything, you know, not not just on a cruise.
- 13:03There are times where, you know, I'll go with friends to like
- 13:05White Party Bangkok. When we first used to do White
- 13:08Party Bangkok, we did in our apartment hotel.
- 13:13We used to get like a three bedroom apartment, hotel type of
- 13:17a thing. So it'd be like a lot of space,
- 13:20you know, like 3 or 4 bedrooms, just like a proper kitchen,
- 13:23living room, dining room, little patio.
- 13:25And we just all split it when we first started doing work for
- 13:28Bangkok because we had so much space.
- 13:31We did used to, especially on Friday nights, the first night,
- 13:35invite people over, just close friends.
- 13:37Not like a massive party, but like have some people over and
- 13:40like have like a little home. Pennsylvania.
- 13:42After the party first night, we stopped doing that in like the
- 13:47more recent years, but that's the last time that I hosted any
- 13:50sort of like get together at like a hotel or anything.
- 13:54But pretty soon afterwards, we just figured, you know, there
- 13:57are other people that are hosting nicer, better parties
- 14:01than we could in like our own little space.
- 14:06Because as the years went on, more and more people through
- 14:09Home Paws White Party Bangkok got more popular, more people
- 14:12visited, especially people with more money and more hosting
- 14:16skills and experience and knows what they're doing to like
- 14:19actually host a proper party. That went and then they threw
- 14:22the things and then we just like went to those.
- 14:25Anyways, yeah, the cruise was pretty nice.
- 14:28Got to hang out with some great hang out with some great people.
- 14:32One surprising thing just me personally was I ate everything
- 14:35on that cruise. I ate everything on that cruise.
- 14:39And I do have IBS and I was like researching before the cruise.
- 14:47Like, OK, like I know I'm not going to be like, first of all,
- 14:50it's hard to control what you eat when you don't cook your
- 14:52meals. If you go to a restaurant or you
- 14:54go on a cruise, like, hey, you have to eat from like whatever
- 14:57they serve. You can't really be super picky
- 14:59and choosy. So I knew like OK, we need to
- 15:02just be OK with whatever they serve.
- 15:04And the second thing I was on vacation, like I wanted to just
- 15:07eat whatever. So I did some research for the
- 15:11cruise and I got these digestive enzymes and the ones I got were
- 15:16in these tiny little packets. It's a powder you sprinkle on
- 15:20your food before you eat it and it helps to pre digest some of
- 15:25the carbs that are in the foods so that you know, if you have
- 15:32IBS or indigestion or things like that, it's like easier on
- 15:35your system and it doesn't and it minimizes or prevents, you
- 15:40know, those IBS symptoms. If you have to like just eat
- 15:44whatever. I was not at all careful with
- 15:47what I ate. I ate, I ate everything I ate
- 15:50something had onions, stuff that had garlic, stuff that had like
- 15:54everything Dairy. I usually don't eat dairy.
- 15:57I don't, I'm not lactose intolerant, but dairy usually
- 16:00makes me break out. I was eating a decent amount of
- 16:04dairy. I didn't eat ice cream.
- 16:05OK, There were some limits. I didn't have the soft serve,
- 16:07the soft serve machine on the pool deck, but I didn't eat
- 16:11that. I did eat, I did eat some
- 16:14cheesecake and that was fine. And I didn't have any.
- 16:16I didn't have any pimples during or after the cruise, which is
- 16:19great. So yeah, that was something that
- 16:22was like a little surprising that I was.
- 16:25I basically kind of ate whatever I ate whatever I wanted to with
- 16:30little concern for like how it would affect me and with these
- 16:34magical enzymes. Like I didn't have any of the
- 16:37IBS symptoms, which is which is great.
- 16:39The other thing that was not not so positive, but that was it
- 16:46wasn't great was there was a cold front that moved into
- 16:51Florida and into Miami literally the weekend the cruise sets was
- 16:58going to set sail. So at the start of the cruise.
- 17:00So it was not this past Sunday, but the Sunday before on the 1st
- 17:04that was the day, the first day of the cruise and like this cold
- 17:09front came right in and back home here in Los Angeles, it was
- 17:14sunny and 80°. It's it always it's sunny in Los
- 17:19Angeles. Basically down in Miami, it was
- 17:23like 40 something degrees with wind chill and it was just, it
- 17:28was so frigid cold. I haven't been in a place that
- 17:31cold in like several years. Like there's a reason I live in
- 17:38Los Angeles and like there's a reason people live in Miami too,
- 17:41right? It's like you don't want the
- 17:43cold weather, so you move to a place like Southern California
- 17:47or like Miami to like not have that weather.
- 17:51So anyway, so it's apparently the coldest weather they've had
- 17:54in in Miami in 15 years. So that was like not great.
- 18:02It actually delayed our cruise by a couple hours.
- 18:05So the cruise ship was coming back from the previous sailing
- 18:08that Sunday morning. Cruise ships usually come back
- 18:11at around like 5 or 6:00 AM, something like that in the early
- 18:14morning hours and then later that day they will set sail with
- 18:19a new set of passengers like later that afternoon or in the
- 18:22evening. So they turn around the whole
- 18:24ship in about like 10 to 12 hours while while it's socked
- 18:27back. So the previous sailing came
- 18:29back a couple hours late because it was windy.
- 18:31So it you know it, they had to wait a couple hours.
- 18:34It delayed them docking back, which made our our sailing a
- 18:40couple hours late as well. But it was just like so freaking
- 18:44cold. It was just like completely
- 18:46frigid. And yeah, that wasn't the
- 18:49greatest start. Even during the cruise, it
- 18:52wasn't the warmest the first couple of days.
- 18:56Like you wouldn't be hanging out outside because it was very
- 19:01windy and it wasn't warm outside to begin with in terms of the
- 19:06air temperature, but it was like the wind chill.
- 19:08It was like there was some wind chill there.
- 19:10So they move around some of the parties.
- 19:12So we had indoor parties the first couple of nights, which
- 19:15was good, but it wasn't until the 2nd last day or like the
- 19:20last day that people could actually hang out poolside.
- 19:25I'll talk more about the cruise in terms of like how it went
- 19:29overall on probably the one of the upcoming episodes of the Gay
- 19:33Cruise and Travel podcast. I had a great time and I love
- 19:36seeing some friends that I haven't seen in like a while.
- 19:40Also meeting some meeting some new boys, which I'll talk about
- 19:43on the episode of Uncut. There's a little slight preview
- 19:46of some of the some of the stuff I will talk about on the Uncut
- 19:50episodes on Patreon. Yeah, but overall, little little
- 19:54chilly. They've already announced the
- 19:56dates for this same cruise next year and it's going to be in
- 20:00March. So usually or this cruise used
- 20:03to be in January like near the end of January and then
- 20:07eventually it became like early February.
- 20:10Now for next year, for whatever reason, I don't know, they
- 20:12didn't intentionally or just the schedule probably happened that
- 20:15way anyways, regardless of whether we had the Super cold
- 20:19sailing this particular year, it's now March, it's like mid
- 20:23March. So I don't know.
- 20:26If I'm going to go next year, I went in 2025 this party cruise
- 20:31and I went this year in 2026. I usually don't need to go on
- 20:36that cruise like three years in a row, but I'll give it a think.
- 20:41I don't know yet, but I will be on the the next Atlantis cruise,
- 20:46which is April. It goes from here in Los Angeles
- 20:49down to Mexico. So how many?
- 20:52Oh that's like 2 months away. So I've got two months to like
- 20:56chill and relax back at home before and finally do some
- 21:00effing work. The thing about being
- 21:02self-employed, there's no one to tell you to get back to work.
- 21:07You need to tell yourself to get back to work.
- 21:10I mean whether you need to go back to work is up to you I
- 21:13guess. I mean, it's great to not have a
- 21:16boss, but you're now accountable to yourself.
- 21:20I did little bits of work here and there, but I haven't like
- 21:22properly gone back to like, OK, wake up and like go do a bunch
- 21:27of work on the computer, have lunch and I go back to like, you
- 21:29know, like haven't had like a full work day yet.
- 21:33But I've been back to the gym, which is good.
- 21:36Gym is after I go on after I go away for a week, week and 1/2
- 21:41after. I've been away from a while,
- 21:43been away for a while, especially overseas.
- 21:46Getting back to the gym, I just feel like I get way weaker after
- 21:50I've got it doesn't matter if it's like a vacation, a party
- 21:53cruise, a work trip somewhere. If I haven't been to the gym
- 21:58after travelling for like a little bit, I always feel like,
- 22:01oh, I I got so much weaker. I can't just go right back up to
- 22:05the amount of weights I lifted before.
- 22:07I can't go right back up to the amount of reps and whatever.
- 22:11The one thing that is a thorn in my side about the gym, while I
- 22:16was on the cruise, my gym, the Crunch in West Hollywood, they
- 22:22decided that they're going to close the gym at the end of
- 22:25March. So in the middle of the cruise,
- 22:27I got this e-mail that says on March 31st that would be the
- 22:31last day this location will be open and then we're going to
- 22:35close permanently. So now I have to find a new gym,
- 22:40which is it's annoying because I actually like my gym.
- 22:46I just want to like go in there and work and work out and get
- 22:50out. So there are other gyms out
- 22:53there. This is not like the most
- 22:55horrible problem to pop up into my life, but I like that gym.
- 23:02I don't talk to anyone that's at my gym.
- 23:03I don't really know anyone. I just literally just earbuds
- 23:06on, go in there, change, workout, change, leave, and I
- 23:13barely change. I go there in my gym clothes.
- 23:15I change into my gym shoes instead of my regular shoes.
- 23:19I workout gloves. Like that's pretty much it.
- 23:21Maybe I put on a jacket and it's cold outside, but like I
- 23:24literally go there just to work out.
- 23:26But I see all the gym regulars there, obviously.
- 23:29But guys in my gym are kind of like hot, you know, A lot of the
- 23:33gym regulars in my gym are like hot, attractive guys and I like
- 23:35having the eye candy even though I have no idea who they are.
- 23:38We've never ever talked. We've never even made like eye
- 23:41contact. But you know, at a gay gym,
- 23:42everyone's checking everyone out.
- 23:43So the thing that I think makes it kind of annoying is the
- 23:51alternatives to this gym. If I want like a quote, UN quote
- 23:55gay gym where like the vast majority of people that are gay
- 23:58guys in this neighborhood in the middle West Hollywood, the
- 24:02alternatives is yes, there's a gym called John Reed, John Reed
- 24:07Fitness. Tons of gays go there, but
- 24:10that's double the price is double what I pay now every
- 24:12month. OK, there's an equinox.
- 24:15Quite a few gays go there too. That's even more expensive.
- 24:18And there aren't any good gyms where I am within like the
- 24:25within like a two or three mile radius.
- 24:28There aren't any other gyms that I don't know where you don't
- 24:32have to pay out your nose. It's like, are there only
- 24:34expensive gyms for gays in this area?
- 24:37Now? I know it's not a cheap zip
- 24:38code, but I'm just kind of curious.
- 24:41I almost want to go up to the guys, the regulars that are in
- 24:43my gym. Like I've never talked to them
- 24:44before. I see.
- 24:45I've been seeing them at the gym five days a week for three or
- 24:49four years now. But like, we've never talked.
- 24:51We've never come first. I feel like going up to someone
- 24:53that's like, hey, what gym are you going to go to?
- 24:56Maybe that would inform where I will go.
- 24:59There is a Gold's Gym that opened pretty recently at the
- 25:04end of 2024 in Beverly Center, which is close to my place.
- 25:09It's not walking distance, but it's only like what, a couple of
- 25:12miles, mile and a half away, a short drive?
- 25:15They got taken over by E OS Fitness.
- 25:18E OS Fitness, so that's one place I'm looking at The price
- 25:23is about the same. It's a it's a larger gym, which
- 25:28I prefer There are some private gyms, smaller private gyms
- 25:30around here as well. I just prefer you don't hear
- 25:35people say this a lot. I prefer to just be like a
- 25:38number at the gym that I go to. Like in terms of as a customer,
- 25:42like they don't need to know my name, they don't need to
- 25:45whatever. Like I kind of want to go to a
- 25:47like a chain, like a bigger chain that John Reed Fitness
- 25:50that I was talking about. That one is that I used to go to
- 25:53that location when it used to be a 24 Hour Fitness.
- 25:56So before the pandemic, that was the gym I went to.
- 25:59It was walking distance. I would just walk there.
- 26:02Lost tons of gays went there. It was like affordable.
- 26:05It was like 40 to $60.00, like 40 something or 50 something
- 26:08dollars a month. Obviously pre pandemic, before
- 26:11inflation, blah, blah, blah, but you know, like it was like very
- 26:14basic, but that's all I needed. I just need the basics.
- 26:16Like I don't use the showers, I don't use the sauna, I don't use
- 26:19the steam room. I don't even need towels.
- 26:21I I can bring my own towels. I just want equipment and
- 26:23weights and the sometimes I'll be on a treadmill or like a
- 26:27stairmaster, but that's, that's all I want.
- 26:29But like, because of the location, lots of gaze went to
- 26:33that 24 hour fitness during the pandemic.
- 26:35Obviously everything closed down after pandemic that 24 Hour
- 26:38Fitness reopened and I went back there for like, I don't know,
- 26:42like it was 12 or 18 months after gym started reopening and
- 26:47then they closed because 24 hour Finance decided to close that
- 26:52location permanently. And that's when I went to, I
- 26:56switched over to the crunch. I had to pay more for crunch,
- 26:59but it was like the next best option.
- 27:00Then I got used to it. I've been there for like 4 years
- 27:02now and after I switched to Crunch John Reed, that fitness
- 27:07chain took over that old 24 Hour Fitness location.
- 27:10But John Reed's thing, this, this, the other thing it caught,
- 27:13it's like doubled the cost. OK to John Reed, this at least
- 27:17this we hold location, but their thing is like, it's like a club
- 27:20gym hybrid. It's what they're it's what
- 27:25they're promoting in their marketing anyways.
- 27:27And I don't want that. I don't want to go to a, a, a
- 27:31gym that also wants to pretend to be a club and like with loud
- 27:36music or whatever. Like I just want my earphones in
- 27:39and to hear my own music and not to have like loud music to be
- 27:44played in the gym. Like the gym can play music,
- 27:46that's fine. But I probably just want to hear
- 27:49my own music. Like 99% of people that go to a
- 27:53gym, they have headphones and they're listening to their own
- 27:55thing. So I don't want to pay twice as
- 27:58much to go to a place that wants to be like a club, like like
- 28:02like a gym and also a club. I, I don't want that experience.
- 28:06So I'm not going to pay like $160.00 for that.
- 28:10It's just like no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 28:13I know all the gays are going to go there.
- 28:17Like it's already 99% gay guys that go there already.
- 28:20So I'm sure some of the people that go to Crunch now, some of
- 28:24them will probably go there. But I also have a feeling that a
- 28:29lot of the people that have been regulars at my gym at Crunch the
- 28:35last few years, they are there because they don't want to be at
- 28:39John Reed for whatever reason, because it's too expensive or
- 28:43because they also don't like the vibe that's there.
- 28:47So I think some of the people in my gym will go to John Reed, but
- 28:50I think a lot of them also don't want to go there, even though
- 28:54it's probably like close to where they live as well.
- 28:57So yeah, I walked by some. I know there's like at least
- 28:59three private gyms within like a mile where I live, like walking
- 29:03distance. But I want a bigger gym.
- 29:05I want a bigger gym where I like, there's just more space
- 29:08and I can like, basically be anonymous and like, do my own
- 29:12thing. Yeah.
- 29:13So I, I kind of just want to be a number at like a larger, at a
- 29:16bigger, larger gym. I don't care that it's run by a
- 29:19heartless corporation. Yeah.
- 29:21I just, you know, just give me like 20 treadmills down one
- 29:24side. I can just pick one.
- 29:25And like, I, I won't be noticed because I very much just want to
- 29:29be like in my own zone, doing my own thing right now at the gym.
- 29:33So that's one of the reasons I prefer going to like a larger
- 29:37gym that I don't want some private.
- 29:39All those private gyms are probably kind of pretty
- 29:40expensive anyways. So if you have recommendations
- 29:45for places checked out, I have been to the 24 Hour Fitness in
- 29:48Hollywood. So not in West Hollywood, which
- 29:51is in regular Hollywood. I've been there a few times
- 29:55before, like several years ago. It's maybe an option.
- 30:00I mean, it's going to be cheaper than what I pay now.
- 30:02It's a little bit of a longer drive, but that won't maybe that
- 30:06maybe won't be a problem. I want to check out, do a trial
- 30:10at that Beverly Hills EOS gym because it's the same as what I
- 30:14pay now. It's a brand new facility.
- 30:16They've only been open for like like a year, year and a half,
- 30:19barely, barely a year. So it's just be a pretty large
- 30:22location as well. So new equipment, lots of it,
- 30:26you know, new facilities, that's always good.
- 30:30I just don't want to pay more. Like I pay 80 something dollars
- 30:33now. It's like I don't want to pay
- 30:34more than that for a gym because like even my current gym is like
- 30:39they have what they did have. They did have, they did have the
- 30:43esteemed room that they've permanently closed.
- 30:45But like even the sauna, I didn't go to the sauna.
- 30:47I've never taken a shower at my gym.
- 30:49I've been going there for four years.
- 30:50I've never once tried to take a shower there.
- 30:54I know like pretty much every gym has a shower anyway, so it's
- 30:56like not a big deal. But like I don't, I never get
- 30:59super sweaty. Like usually it, it's very rare
- 31:01for me to get sweaty at a gym. I just don't sweat that much.
- 31:05You know what's more likely to happen?
- 31:07It's more likely that if you come to me at the gym and feel
- 31:10my hands, they're probably freezing cold.
- 31:13So when I lift weights, I don't warm up that much and they
- 31:17always crank the AC. But most people do get warm when
- 31:20they work out. That's like the normal thing to
- 31:21do. I'm not AI, don't have like a
- 31:22normal human body that warms up that much when I'm lifting
- 31:25weights. Like so some lately this is like
- 31:29winter. I should put on like this
- 31:32thicker hoodie jacket while I'm working out.
- 31:37I remember there was like a couple of days ago, went back to
- 31:38the gym right after the cruise. I had just like jacket on.
- 31:40I was like everyone else had like, you know, a tank top, you
- 31:43know, like kind of that, you know, other people are like
- 31:46sweating and working out. I'm like I'm freezing.
- 31:48Like if I could wear like thicker gloves to keep my hands
- 31:51warm, I would do that. So anyways, there you go.
- 31:55I need to go eventually find a new gym.
- 31:58I've got six weeks, six or seven weeks to find a new gym, which
- 32:03is annoying. So if you have recommendations
- 32:05for a gym for in the middle of West Hollywood, well, let me
- 32:10know. But otherwise, yeah, go check
- 32:13out my Patreon. Go check out the picture perfect
- 32:16pairing sale for my skin care brand, Magnet.
- 32:19Both of those things are linked down below.
- 32:22But until next time, bye y'all.
